0:00:03 > 0:00:05Hello and welcome to a special Olympic edition of the show.
0:00:05 > 0:00:09The whole country was glued to the Games and tonight we are delighted
0:00:09 > 0:00:13to be joined by four gold medallists from Team GB.
0:00:13 > 0:00:16COMMENTATORS: Glover and Stanning defend their Olympic title.
0:00:16 > 0:00:20Joe Clarke of Great Britain is the Olympic champion.
0:00:20 > 0:00:23Callum Skinner brings it home for Britain.
0:00:23 > 0:00:27Nick Skelton on Big Star, Olympic champion here in Rio.
0:00:27 > 0:00:29APPLAUSE
0:00:38 > 0:00:42We are thrilled to have four of our gold medal winners from Rio with us
0:00:42 > 0:00:45tonight. Let's hear from them all. Joe, we're coming to you first.
0:00:45 > 0:00:48First Olympic Games, pretty special, huh?
0:00:48 > 0:00:51Yeah, it was a pretty crazy experience.
0:00:51 > 0:00:55To go out there in my first Olympics and win a gold is a dream come true.
0:00:55 > 0:00:58Is it true, I read a quote of yours, that when you crossed the line,
0:00:58 > 0:01:00the first thing you thought about was Tokyo?
0:01:00 > 0:01:01Tell me that wasn't true.
0:01:01 > 0:01:04You weren't thinking about four years' time, were you?
0:01:04 > 0:01:06No, I was thinking probably about four minutes after that,
0:01:06 > 0:01:10not four years. Obviously, Tokyo, the focus has turned to that now,
0:01:10 > 0:01:14but I'll try and enjoy what I've got here now and enjoy the show tonight.
0:01:14 > 0:01:15Well, hopefully, yes.
0:01:15 > 0:01:18I know you're all very competitive so it's going to be good.
0:01:18 > 0:01:20Heather, a different experience for you,
0:01:20 > 0:01:22coming in as gold medallist from London.
0:01:22 > 0:01:24How different was this experience in Rio?
0:01:24 > 0:01:27Very different. I suppose, like Joe this time around,
0:01:27 > 0:01:30we were sneaking under the radar in London
0:01:30 > 0:01:33and no-one really knew who we were and we could get away with winning
0:01:33 > 0:01:36the gold medal without having any of the media pressure beforehand,
0:01:36 > 0:01:37which was fantastic.
0:01:37 > 0:01:40Unfortunately, in Rio, there was a bit more pressure on us.
0:01:40 > 0:01:41As we showed, we delivered,
0:01:41 > 0:01:45and hopefully everyone was pleased with it. We were. Absolutely.
0:01:45 > 0:01:49Callum, a big experience because we talk about pressure,
0:01:49 > 0:01:53just a little bit of pressure trying to fill Chris Hoy's shoes.
0:01:53 > 0:01:57Yeah, well, it was my turn to step up and get ourselves
0:01:57 > 0:02:00a hat-trick of Olympics in the team sprint,
0:02:00 > 0:02:02so, yeah, it was really tough.
0:02:02 > 0:02:05The most pressure I felt was trying to keep up with my team-mates.
0:02:05 > 0:02:06I had Jason Kenny and Phil Hindes
0:02:06 > 0:02:09in man one and two and they were reigning Olympic champions,
0:02:09 > 0:02:11and I think it was at the World Championships,
0:02:11 > 0:02:14we were first at the 500-metre point and then I took over
0:02:14 > 0:02:15and we ended up sixth, so there was
0:02:15 > 0:02:17a lot of pressure to step up from there.
0:02:17 > 0:02:20But I think I did them proud in the end
0:02:20 > 0:02:21and that was what was best for me,
0:02:21 > 0:02:23that we did it as a team and it all came together.
0:02:23 > 0:02:25Absolutely. Nick, I've got to say,
0:02:25 > 0:02:29I was in tears so many times during the Games, but yours particularly.
0:02:29 > 0:02:32In some ways, winning the medal now,
0:02:32 > 0:02:36does it mean almost more than in one of your first Games?
0:02:36 > 0:02:39I think it would have been nice to have won it a lot earlier on.
0:02:39 > 0:02:42I probably wouldn't have had to continue for so long.
0:02:42 > 0:02:45LAUGHTER
0:02:45 > 0:02:46Get it in early.
0:02:46 > 0:02:49Get the pressure off. But no, I think to go...
0:02:49 > 0:02:52I've been trying for 28 years and it finally came off,
0:02:52 > 0:02:54yeah, a remarkable feat, you know,
0:02:54 > 0:02:57but most of the credit has to go to the horse.
0:02:57 > 0:02:59He's an amazing horse.
0:02:59 > 0:03:01And he's had his problems for two years.
0:03:01 > 0:03:05So for him to come back and do that is amazing.
0:03:05 > 0:03:09With everything, all that you've been through, with all the injuries,
0:03:09 > 0:03:12it was just wonderful to see you on top of the podium. It's amazing.
0:03:12 > 0:03:15I think for the elder generation,
0:03:15 > 0:03:20I've had so many letters and texts from elder generations saying,
0:03:20 > 0:03:22"I think I might get up and start doing something",
0:03:22 > 0:03:25so that's been worth it, if it helps all those people.
0:03:25 > 0:03:27Inspirational. All of you were.
0:03:27 > 0:03:30Ladies and gentlemen, our wonderful gold medallists from Rio.
0:03:30 > 0:03:32APPLAUSE
0:03:43 > 0:03:45So let's get started with the Picture Board.
0:03:48 > 0:03:53All the questions in the show are about people who competed in Rio.
0:03:53 > 0:03:57So all your research has been in...
