:01:25. > :01:30.Welcome to Wembley, the home of Some action from previous matches
:01:30. > :01:33.at Wembley, and this is the 5th year on the trot that the NFL have
:01:33. > :01:39.held a regular-season game here. It's become such an established
:01:39. > :01:44.part of the sporting calendar that both teams have been here before.
:01:44. > :01:49.For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, their visit in 2009 was one to forget.
:01:49. > :01:54.Their 35-7 defeat to the New England Patriots was part of a
:01:54. > :01:59.trying first-season for rookie head coach Raheem Morris. Two years on,
:01:59. > :02:05.and he is back with a bright young team ready to mix it with the best.
:02:05. > :02:10.Compared to that, the Chicago Bears's visit is ancient history.
:02:10. > :02:15.Back in 1986 legends like Walter Payton, Jim McMahon and William
:02:15. > :02:25.Perry played the Dallas Cowboys in a preseason friendly under the twin
:02:25. > :02:25.
:02:25. > :02:29.towers. But that side still cast a shadow over Lovie Smith's 2011
:02:29. > :02:34.Chicago Bears. And it is an event where everyone is welcome. Fans of
:02:34. > :02:37.all NFL teams are here this evening, not just those who support the
:02:37. > :02:42.Bears all the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers game from two years ago
:02:42. > :02:47.was probably the least memorable of games, and if we could get a repeat
:02:47. > :02:50.of the charges and Saints shoot-out from 2008 we are in retreat. You
:02:51. > :02:55.can see how much the Buccaneers have improved. Their most recent
:02:55. > :03:00.win against the Super Bowl winners of two years ago and beat Division
:03:00. > :03:04.rivals, New Orleans Saints, puts them top of NFL south. A crucial
:03:04. > :03:10.game for the Bears as they tried to keep up with the defending lead
:03:10. > :03:14.champions, the Green Bay Packers. We talked about the Saints and the
:03:14. > :03:18.Charges, this has a lot riding on it. Almost pivotal for both teams
:03:18. > :03:23.because they are chasing two good teams in their division even though
:03:23. > :03:26.the Buccaneers are first now. And they both need to keep pace because
:03:26. > :03:29.they know it will come down for wild-card play-off in the end, so
:03:29. > :03:34.they are really chasing each other in that sense. The Buccaneers
:03:34. > :03:39.should be at home, but their Chicago Bears shirts everywhere and
:03:39. > :03:43.it feels like a home game for Chicago. All of those jerseys they
:03:43. > :03:48.been saving since 1986, they have come out of the woodwork, but
:03:48. > :03:55.outside the stadium this afternoon there were more Brian her lacquered
:03:55. > :03:59.Jersey's than any other single players. -- Brian Urlacher. The key
:03:59. > :04:03.is to get Ernest grant to run the ball so Josh Freeman can throw it
:04:03. > :04:08.downfield, but the real key is defensively. Can they get to Jay
:04:08. > :04:16.Cutler, the quarterback and stop the Bears from throwing deep, which
:04:16. > :04:19.is they -- what they like to do and can they stop Matt Forte who is a
:04:19. > :04:24.threat from the front and to receive. They need to get cover on
:04:24. > :04:34.his back where he has spent a lot of time in the last years. Very
:04:34. > :04:37.
:04:37. > :04:45.close to call us. Your commentators after noon in Chicago. 1pm in Tampa.
:04:45. > :04:49.Just after 6pm in London as we get things started. Tough up the
:04:49. > :04:59.kickoff is out of bounds and no chance of a return -- the kickoff
:04:59. > :05:01.
:05:01. > :05:07.position for Jay Cutler and the Bears. They will start from their
:05:07. > :05:10.own 40, as the referee said. Cutler has been courageous in the
:05:10. > :05:15.last couple of weeks as his offensive line has shifted around,
:05:15. > :05:18.but great plays throwing the ball, working behind the makeshift
:05:18. > :05:28.defensive line and the Bears have struggle within the first six games
:05:28. > :05:36.
:05:36. > :05:39.ball makes the tackle. When you talk about the Chicago Bears
:05:39. > :05:45.offence, what is the offensive line capable of doing? There will be
:05:45. > :05:50.more changes in the line-up this afternoon. The way to accomplish
:05:50. > :05:57.that is to do what he did there, lean on Matt Forte and let him run
:05:57. > :06:07.the ball. I think that is exactly what we will see early, trying to
:06:07. > :06:10.
:06:10. > :06:17.establish the run and setting up Forte, and he leads there Chicago
:06:17. > :06:21.Bears in receiving and rushing. So, third down in seven, and that is
:06:21. > :06:26.coming in for the best. This is the Tampa Bay defence coming off a
:06:26. > :06:30.great game against the New Orleans Saints. Three interceptions, a good
:06:30. > :06:34.defensive line. They were really jumping with the timing passing
:06:34. > :06:44.game of the New Orleans Saints, so if they can recognise the formation
:06:44. > :06:48.
:06:48. > :06:57.and personnel, they might take some busting into midfield for first
:06:57. > :07:04.down. He throws down a field that the passes to a high, intended for
:07:04. > :07:07.Johnny Knox, so the Bears see their first possession go three-and-out.
:07:07. > :07:13.Jay Cutler with the pressure moving around. What you would expect is
:07:13. > :07:17.one of his receivers to break deep. Everybody working back, and Jake
:07:17. > :07:27.colour extending their. I think he wanted Johnny Knox to get vertical
:07:27. > :07:39.
:07:39. > :07:44.on the plate and he was working Buccaneers. -- Preston Parker. The
:07:44. > :07:48.three-yard return. But Tampa Bay did not do anything with their
:07:48. > :07:57.drive, so we joined the next Chicago possession on their own 19
:07:57. > :08:04.yard line. Setting up an offensive series for Jay Cutler and the Bears.
:08:04. > :08:07.He takes it out to the 24 yard line. When you get up next to Matt Forte
:08:07. > :08:11.you do not realise how big he is until you are right next to him and
:08:11. > :08:15.to watch him running, it's more that you see what he can do. He has
:08:15. > :08:18.great feet and vision but the first time I got next to him it was
:08:18. > :08:24.amazing how big he was and it's great to make that correlation that
:08:24. > :08:30.he has such great feat. He jumped inside and turned a two or three
:08:30. > :08:35.Yard last into a game. Forte has accounted for 46 % of the Chicago
:08:36. > :08:45.Bears offence this season. Picking up a first down, finally forced out
:08:45. > :08:48.of bounds by Jones at the 40 five- yard line, and Forte gains 22.
:08:48. > :08:52.cannot reach enough about patience as a running back. Watch Matt Forte.
:08:52. > :08:56.There is nothing at the beginning of the play. Defended well by the
:08:56. > :09:00.Buccaneers and block well, but just having the patience and getting
:09:00. > :09:03.people to commit out of their spot and getting to the edge. Patience
:09:03. > :09:11.as a running back is one of those great instincts more people are
:09:11. > :09:16.born with it than you can learn. Spencer did great to seal up the
:09:16. > :09:26.outside line. First down, cut a's pass. Intended for Roy Williams,
:09:26. > :09:37.
:09:37. > :09:42.but there is a flag. -- Cup Le's Automatic first down. This is a
:09:42. > :09:47.match-up that Jay Cutler will be looking for. Any receiver on Barber,
:09:47. > :09:51.a true run on one. Good skills getting out, eyes on the
:09:51. > :10:01.quarterback. I think that the Bears really liked the match-up when they
:10:01. > :10:11.catch true one on ones outside. Williams and barber again. Colour's
:10:11. > :10:15.pass caught by Hester -- Cutler's pass. Hester keeps the lead.
:10:15. > :10:19.continues to improve as a wide receiver. A lot of subtleties that
:10:19. > :10:23.go with playing that position, understanding what your thing does
:10:23. > :10:27.in the grand scheme of play. Being able to run and pick people laugh,
:10:27. > :10:37.Devin Hester is starting to learn it. We know he has great breakaway
:10:37. > :10:41.
:10:41. > :10:47.speed and great hands, but he is Forte, and he picks up another
:10:47. > :10:57.first down. And he is inside the 10 and will take it in for a Chicago
:10:57. > :11:04.
:11:04. > :11:10.We talked about the patient before, but now it is the vision. And the
:11:10. > :11:15.ability to see people coming out of your peripheral and making the jump.
:11:15. > :11:19.The play does not look all that great at the start. They get caught
:11:19. > :11:24.up to the outside, but there is the patience, and now watch the vision.
:11:24. > :11:34.Roy Williams getting the block. Tyler Clutts finishing off the last
:11:34. > :11:44.defender. Second rushing touchdown of the season. As the extra point
:11:44. > :11:46.
:11:46. > :11:51.comes in. Chicago Bears strike on their next possession, losing
:11:51. > :11:56.their running back to injury and having to punt again. We rejoin the
:11:56. > :12:06.next Chicago Bears drive that the 31 line. This is Forte, who has the
:12:06. > :12:09.
:12:09. > :12:19.Chicago touchdown. The tackle comes remaining healthy running back on
:12:19. > :12:24.
:12:24. > :12:29.the Buccaneers sideline. Second first down. Across the midfield,
:12:29. > :12:35.Jones finally bringing him down and a gain of 14. They are really
:12:35. > :12:41.working the edges of the Tampa Bay defence. All of the big plays have
:12:41. > :12:44.been on the edge, Davies, a big physical tight end. Roy Williams
:12:44. > :12:51.again coming down inside and getting a block. They are getting
:12:51. > :12:59.on to the edge of the Tampa Bay defence very quickly. Forte with 79
:13:00. > :13:05.yards, replaced at the back by one time Dallas Cowboy, Marion Barber.
:13:05. > :13:15.Another ex Cowboy, Roy Williams, in motion. Cutler looking to throw and
:13:15. > :13:19.
:13:19. > :13:26.he fires downfield. Dropped by butter player. This is the staple,
:13:26. > :13:30.number 11. A two-man root, match protection, hard play, you push the
:13:30. > :13:33.scene on the route and Roy has made a bunch of these catches and you
:13:33. > :13:43.can see him push his eyes up to find Adam Heywood before the ball
:13:43. > :14:08.
:14:08. > :14:18.his on the second game. -- Barber Jackson returns at 42 yards. I do
:14:18. > :14:22.not know how he does this. Marion Barber, you have to make his catch.
:14:22. > :14:30.It goes up an air, it is going to be difficult but you have to make
:14:30. > :14:33.that catch. I have watched Jackson on film and was absolutely blown
:14:33. > :14:40.away by how well he played last week in his first game back in over
:14:40. > :14:50.a year. 4 Jay Cutler, the first interception he has thrown in the
:14:50. > :15:07.
:15:07. > :15:14.Interception on back to back plays. He is looking at his first career
:15:14. > :15:20.interception. The safety position is one that has been in flux for
:15:20. > :15:25.the Bears for some time. Lovie Smith, without being asked, started
:15:25. > :15:35.talking about Chris Conte and what a great career he has in front of
:15:35. > :15:40.
:15:40. > :15:50.him. That is a great playwright there by a young guy. -- play right
:15:50. > :15:54.
:15:54. > :16:04.there. They get it back two plays later. He has to get the ball
:16:04. > :16:25.
:16:25. > :16:35.him come up here and forced him back. He gets a little help but
:16:35. > :16:36.
:16:36. > :16:42.that was all him in the beginning. Here come the young guys on the
:16:42. > :16:48.outside. He makes a great job of that title. At the end of the first
:16:48. > :16:53.quarter it is 7-2 to the Bears. The Bears have been here before back in
:16:53. > :17:03.1986. Earlier on, I caught up with a couple of members of that squad
:17:03. > :17:11.The players we had, they were always great characters who played
:17:11. > :17:21.great football. People can identify with that. This is a big game for
:17:21. > :17:22.
:17:22. > :17:28.the Bears, given the stage in the season? Yare, they cannot afford to
:17:28. > :17:38.go back -- yes they cannot afford to go back. It is nice to get when
:17:38. > :17:44.
:17:44. > :17:47.in London -- to get a win. It's will be an uphill battle. Firstly
:17:47. > :17:57.for their confidence level and secondly for their standing in the
:17:57. > :18:00.
:18:00. > :18:04.division. You have the Green Bay Packers and Detroit. I do not see
:18:04. > :18:13.anybody winning easily. What is your prediction? I think the Bears
:18:13. > :18:22.will pull it out but it will be close. As I said before, 24-14. I
:18:22. > :18:26.hope that they will kick the ball to Hester. If they can get it five
:18:26. > :18:36.yards deep, Hester will bring it back.
:18:36. > :18:55.
:18:55. > :19:03.mentioned the score a moment ago, the gentleman to my right chuckled.
:19:03. > :19:08.You did not think that would be the score? I did not expect that. We
:19:08. > :19:16.had an opportunity before the game to talk to some of the officials
:19:16. > :19:26.who are working in the UK. It seems like the game is really starting to
:19:26. > :19:26.
:19:26. > :19:29.take all over here. It really has grown over here. The quality of
:19:29. > :19:34.questions from fans and their knowledge of the game, it is really
:19:34. > :19:42.a signal that the growth is really taking hold. I think there is a
:19:42. > :19:48.bright future for football here. The NFL owners approved a regular -
:19:48. > :19:52.- resolution last year to continue playing games through UK until 2016,
:19:52. > :19:55.potentially more than one game a year. It is not just that but the
:19:55. > :20:04.expansion of the number of games. We think we can play multiple
:20:04. > :20:12.regular stadium games and that will further our growth. We may have a
:20:12. > :20:19.full franchise here one day. A some of the things that you had seen at
:20:19. > :20:25.the start of the season that had been pressure? Detroit and Buffalo
:20:25. > :20:35.came out. San Francisco were playing well. Also, the scoring, I
:20:35. > :20:45.was taken by the amount of scoring. The standard of the game has been
:20:45. > :20:50.
:20:50. > :20:54.extraordinary this year. He is inside the 45. Tampa games 28.
:20:54. > :21:04.When you get everybody up tight on the line of scrimmage and you break
:21:04. > :21:14.that one little seam, there is that space that Marion Barber is able to
:21:14. > :21:42.
:21:42. > :21:45.Bears and we are not much of the For a quarterback, that if you
:21:45. > :21:51.throw the ball up and I cannot get to it I can guarantee that the
:21:51. > :21:58.other guy will not get it either. Hester is going back to his younger
:21:58. > :22:08.days there, turning it into a corner. The Commissioner of the
:22:08. > :22:11.
:22:11. > :22:15.National Football League is with us. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are here
:22:15. > :22:18.for the second time. They played in London two years ago against New
:22:18. > :22:24.England. It has been mentioned that they might become part of a regular
:22:24. > :22:27.rotation. We're going to try to focus on a few teams to see if that
:22:27. > :22:35.will accelerate our growth over here. The Buccaneers have a
:22:35. > :22:40.tremendous interest. Deglaze a family, as you know, warns
:22:40. > :22:50.Manchester United here. It is an opportunity we are looking forward
:22:50. > :23:02.
:23:02. > :23:08.to. -- the Glazer family owns This is one of the things that Jay
:23:08. > :23:18.Cutler has asked for. He wants the ball to come out quicker from the
:23:18. > :23:19.
:23:19. > :23:29.offence. He just beats the Jam, gets on top right away. Jay Cutler,
:23:29. > :23:34.a good spot with the ball. 25 yards from Cutler to Williams. His first
:23:34. > :23:37.touchdown of the season, first touched down as a member of their
:23:37. > :23:46.Chicago Bears. The Buccaneers managed to score a
:23:46. > :23:50.field goal as time ran out in the quarter. Have time, 14-5. You
:23:50. > :24:00.called it, Mike. It would be good if they could keep their running
:24:00. > :24:06.game going. I think it was the only time in the half when they gave up
:24:06. > :24:10.the safety. The defence is playing well, the running game is going
:24:10. > :24:19.well. It is opening up things for Jay Cutler. They have done a good
:24:19. > :24:26.job of protecting him. Craig really has to step up. They do not really
:24:26. > :24:33.have any options be on them so they have to be careful. How do Tampa
:24:33. > :24:43.deal with them in the second half. The Bears are going to keep
:24:43. > :24:48.
:24:49. > :24:53.bringing pressure. They have to stop the Bears. The way to do that
:24:53. > :24:57.is probably to bring extra people up and taking risks. Tampa have to
:24:57. > :25:00.take some risks on both sides of the ball. It is not the game they
:25:00. > :25:04.want to play but that there's a sort of forcing them into the
:25:04. > :25:11.position where that is what they're going to have to do. Speaking of
:25:11. > :25:14.Josh Freeman, we can now go to the quarterback who won the Super Bowl
:25:14. > :25:22.for the Buccaneers, Brad Johnson. He also has connections here in
:25:22. > :25:28.London. When you played for the Monarchs,
:25:28. > :25:32.compare and contrast football then with football now. They won the
:25:32. > :25:39.championship in 1991. They played at Wembley Stadium to a sold-out
:25:39. > :25:49.crowd. The fans we do debt -- we get excited when there was a punt
:25:49. > :25:55.and a kick. Over the last four for five years, there have been regular
:25:55. > :26:03.games and interest is growing. The fan support has been unbelievable
:26:03. > :26:07.over here from 1995 until now. fans of a certain age are behind
:26:07. > :26:12.the Bears because of the team in the mid-80s. Tell me about what the
:26:12. > :26:22.Buccaneers mean to you. They are world champions and that is how I
:26:22. > :26:24.
:26:24. > :26:34.will always remember them. The glazers have done a great job in
:26:34. > :26:36.
:26:36. > :26:44.terms of giving the team a chance to win. -- Glazers. Tamponade
:26:44. > :26:54.expend -- expanded their game. The Bears have the ball on their

:27:01. > :27:04.own 45. Johnny Knox is in Buccaneers territory. Here is
:27:04. > :27:09.another thing that a good running game helps you do - it loosens up
:27:09. > :27:14.your coverage and allows you to get down field. Johnny knocks covered
:27:14. > :27:24.from the outside, works into that area. Look at the area that Jay
:27:24. > :27:30.
:27:31. > :27:40.Cutler fed that ball into. Three wide receivers. He gets down to the
:27:41. > :27:42.
:27:42. > :27:46.31. One of those things that you forget about during the Games,
:27:46. > :27:56.Jackson going out of the line-up, Lench coming in. He was such a

:28:51. > :29:00.and that is what happened. Cutler fires, and the catch is made by the
:29:00. > :29:05.Roy Williams for a Chicago Bears first down. This is a another for
:29:05. > :29:11.nice throw by Jay Cutler. Watched the line this is on. He does not
:29:11. > :29:16.have his feet even set, it is on a road to Roy Williams. They lost

:29:44. > :29:48.going to go Ian on that route, you have to be the man inside. You
:29:48. > :29:54.can't allow him to come underneath you. Let's see what happens, he
