2:02:01 > 2:02:03and here's what we have to offer.
2:02:07 > 2:02:11There are some games that are bigger than others and this is one of them.
2:02:11 > 2:02:16The ball is loose in the end zone and Wilson's going to cover up.
2:02:16 > 2:02:21It's Beckham getting loose and he's going to take it the distance!
2:02:24 > 2:02:29Patterson down the sideline. Can they get to him? No!
2:02:29 > 2:02:33It's going to be a touchdown, Vikings.
2:02:35 > 2:02:37And if you want to be involved,
2:02:37 > 2:02:39then just use the hash tag #RaceToSB50,
2:02:39 > 2:02:42or if you're new to the sport, #NFLRookie,
2:02:42 > 2:02:45and Jason and Osi will be looking to answer a few of your questions.
2:02:45 > 2:02:49Now, on a weekend that started so violently in Paris,
2:02:49 > 2:02:53every NFL stadium this weekend has stood in solidarity
2:02:53 > 2:02:57while observing a minute's silence in respect of the Paris victims.
2:03:00 > 2:03:02Now, as I said earlier,
2:03:02 > 2:03:06Osi has two Super Bowl rings. Both came with the New York Giants
2:03:06 > 2:03:09and on both occasions at the expense of the New England Patriots.
2:03:09 > 2:03:11As those two teams met this week in New York,
2:03:11 > 2:03:13we sent him back to where it all began.
2:03:21 > 2:03:26I remember being overwhelmed by the city, by its scale, its density,
2:03:26 > 2:03:29but straightaway I felt a strong sense of responsibility
2:03:29 > 2:03:31to the people of New York,
2:03:31 > 2:03:34the fans of the Giants - a team that had failed to add
2:03:34 > 2:03:38to their Super Bowl collection for over 20 years.
2:03:41 > 2:03:44With the city still recovering from its darkest days following 9/11,
2:03:44 > 2:03:48the people of New York look to their team to give them hope.
2:03:56 > 2:03:59I was destined to be a Giants fan before I was born.
2:04:00 > 2:04:03This team saved my life.
2:04:06 > 2:04:09I played for the Giants until 2013,
2:04:09 > 2:04:11some of the best years of my life.
2:04:13 > 2:04:17I was a first responder on 9/11 and wouldn't have made it through
2:04:17 > 2:04:21the weeks and months afterwards if it hadn't been for the Giants.
2:04:24 > 2:04:26The fans made that time so special.
2:04:28 > 2:04:29This team saved my life,
2:04:29 > 2:04:32because I had football to look forward to every weekend.
2:04:35 > 2:04:37I will always bleed blue.
2:04:45 > 2:04:46At the end of my career,
2:04:46 > 2:04:50I re-signed to New York just so I could retire as a Giant.
2:04:57 > 2:05:00This team is in my blood.
2:05:00 > 2:05:05I won two Super Bowls here, in 2007 and again four years later,
2:05:05 > 2:05:07both times against the Patriots.
2:05:13 > 2:05:17Today, the Giants once again face an undefeated Patriots team.
2:05:36 > 2:05:392nd & goal. Again, Mason lines up at the back field.
2:05:39 > 2:05:41Brady, play action, looks to the back of the end zone
2:05:41 > 2:05:45and there is his man Chandler for the touchdown.
2:05:47 > 2:05:49Gronkowski going across first.
2:05:49 > 2:05:51He's covered, throws it off his back foot
2:05:51 > 2:05:53and hits Chandler for the touchdown.
2:05:53 > 2:05:57Eli Manning became the Giants' all-time winning as quarterback
2:05:57 > 2:06:01with his 96th win as a starter last week down at Tampa.
2:06:01 > 2:06:04Phil, he was in a tie with you going into that one.
2:06:04 > 2:06:05Well, I think he was there,
2:06:05 > 2:06:06breathing down. He's going to pass me.
2:06:06 > 2:06:11Let's see how New England plays this quick passing game of the Giants.
2:06:11 > 2:06:15It's resulted in his highest completion percentage of his career
2:06:15 > 2:06:17and down he goes!
2:06:17 > 2:06:21It's Beckham getting loose and he's going to take it the distance!
2:06:25 > 2:06:2787 yards.
2:06:29 > 2:06:33Top of the screen, the best cover corner, even though
2:06:33 > 2:06:37they were the defence to stop that play from being big,
2:06:37 > 2:06:41the safety, I think it was McCourty, too aggressive, got outside
2:06:41 > 2:06:43and Beckham comes underneath it.
2:06:43 > 2:06:45With all these pass plays
2:06:45 > 2:06:48Coughlin's crew comes up with against Belichick,
2:06:48 > 2:06:52and got another one today, the longest pass play ever given up
2:06:52 > 2:06:56by a Belichick team at New England, the 87-yarder.
2:06:56 > 2:06:593rd & 4, White is the running back.
2:07:00 > 2:07:03Brady's throw. Back to Edelman.
2:07:05 > 2:07:07And another first down.
2:07:07 > 2:07:10Edelman was injured on that 12-yard pass play,
2:07:10 > 2:07:12the last play of the first quarter.
2:07:14 > 2:07:2031 yards for Gostkowski who has not missed the entire season.
2:07:20 > 2:07:24Gostkowski has already hit one and this to match it.
2:07:24 > 2:07:25It's good.
2:07:27 > 2:07:28One time-out for New York.
2:07:30 > 2:07:32From here, they've found a 50-yard field goal,
2:07:32 > 2:07:34but they have bigger ideas.
2:07:36 > 2:07:40Round the middle. Wide open. Down to the ten.
2:07:40 > 2:07:46To the five and stopped just a foot shy of the end zone is Will Tye.
2:07:46 > 2:07:49They knocked down a couple of defenders to pick up 31.
2:07:49 > 2:07:51Best throw of the day by Eli Manning,
2:07:51 > 2:07:54in this game, probably by either team.
2:07:54 > 2:07:56Beckham to the right side.
2:07:56 > 2:07:58McCourty on him.
2:07:58 > 2:07:59To Harris.
2:07:59 > 2:08:01Did he get the feet down?
2:08:01 > 2:08:04First thought was no, but they're conferencing.
2:08:04 > 2:08:06Touchdown! New York.
2:08:08 > 2:08:12Go to the inside receiver, then he dragged the left foot,
2:08:12 > 2:08:16- looks like he did to me. - Seven-point lead by New York.
2:08:16 > 2:08:20It matches the Patriots largest deficit of the season.
2:08:23 > 2:08:27On the first possession of the second half, Giants kicker Josh Brown
2:08:27 > 2:08:30hit a 38-yard field goal to extend the lead to ten points.
2:08:33 > 2:08:37Brad Wing, well, Belichick had praise for him
2:08:37 > 2:08:40when we spoke to him last night. Raised in Melbourne, Australia,
2:08:40 > 2:08:43went to high school in Baton Rouge and onto LSU.
2:08:47 > 2:08:49That's Amendola.
2:08:49 > 2:08:53Breaking free from two tackles and getting to the outside.
2:08:53 > 2:09:00Amendola gets past wing and breaks another tackle. I do not see a flag.
2:09:00 > 2:09:06But at the end, he falls at the seven.
2:09:06 > 2:09:08Got a little off-balance, shook it off.
2:09:08 > 2:09:11Hey, he tripped up over one of his own team-mates.
2:09:11 > 2:09:13That's what the Patriots needed, a big play.
2:09:15 > 2:09:18Running behind. Mason,
2:09:18 > 2:09:21and that is a touchdown for LeGarrette Blount.
2:09:21 > 2:09:24He launched and he definitely crossed the plain.
2:09:24 > 2:09:27He went right behind the guard who lines up at the back field,
2:09:27 > 2:09:30the rookie Jack Mason, and Blount,
2:09:30 > 2:09:34finds the end zone for the seventh time this season.
2:09:34 > 2:09:37On the ensuing possession, Brown converted a 53-yard field goal
2:09:37 > 2:09:41to give the Giants a 23-17 lead going into the fourth quarter.
2:09:46 > 2:09:49Coming off a Giant drive that's stalled.
2:09:49 > 2:09:52Going to be seven and two.
2:09:52 > 2:09:56Here's Brady over the top. Open is Gronkowski.
2:09:56 > 2:09:59He gets away and he has it inside the 20.
2:09:59 > 2:10:01They are not going to catch him.
2:10:01 > 2:10:07- 76 yards to Gronk.- So athletic, makes the catch once again.
2:10:07 > 2:10:09So, the Giants give up the football.
2:10:09 > 2:10:14Blount easily to the end zone for the touchdown.
2:10:15 > 2:10:18We got flags.
2:10:18 > 2:10:23Holding offence, number 60. Ten-yard penalty.
2:10:23 > 2:10:24Repeat first down.
2:10:24 > 2:10:28Bolden into the back field for the Pats.
2:10:30 > 2:10:33Faked to him. Brady's pass.
2:10:33 > 2:10:37It's intercepted at the goal line by McBride.
2:10:38 > 2:10:42Falling away from the football, throws behind anyway,
2:10:42 > 2:10:46McBride going towards the football and made the catch.
2:10:46 > 2:10:48What a play by McBride.
2:10:52 > 2:10:54Going up top. Yeah, they're going. Full of gusto.
2:10:54 > 2:10:56Oh, it's knocked out of the hands.
2:10:56 > 2:10:59They rule it a touchdown for Beckham.
2:10:59 > 2:11:01But now they'll talk about it.
2:11:06 > 2:11:09Sean saying no way. Yes, they say way.
2:11:09 > 2:11:10Touchdown.
2:11:10 > 2:11:15It happened so quick and, you know, the passing game is complex,
2:11:15 > 2:11:19but when you slow it down, you see there is just not enough time
2:11:19 > 2:11:26with control after the second step, the ball is out. This is incomplete.
2:11:26 > 2:11:28The pass is incomplete.
2:11:28 > 2:11:31The ball is knocked out just as the second foot touched the ground.
2:11:32 > 2:11:35The receiver had not yet become a runner, therefore,
2:11:35 > 2:11:37it was an incomplete pass.
2:11:37 > 2:11:41The Giants did soon regain the lead. Another Brown field goal
2:11:41 > 2:11:45making it 26-24 with less than two minutes on the clock.
2:11:45 > 2:11:50Dobson, the extra receiver. Here's the pressure.
2:11:50 > 2:11:53Passed down the field and it is intercepted!
2:11:53 > 2:11:56That is Landon Collins,
2:11:56 > 2:11:59the rookie out of Alabama, that the ball hit the ground.
2:12:01 > 2:12:02The pass was ruled incomplete.
2:12:02 > 2:12:06Ball hits the ground and as he rolled over, doesn't complete
2:12:06 > 2:12:10the process just like a receiver and that's why it's incomplete.
2:12:10 > 2:12:12A great example of how much
2:12:12 > 2:12:14Brady misses Edelman at a moment like this.
2:12:16 > 2:12:174th & 10.
2:12:20 > 2:12:24Once stopped by the Giants and the Patriots perfect season is over.
2:12:24 > 2:12:29Brady from the pocket, he's got the completion to Amendola.
2:12:31 > 2:12:35And there's a pulse for the Patriots with 1.15 to go and clock running.
2:12:35 > 2:12:41Brady, who's thrown from nearly 200 yards in this quarter,
2:12:41 > 2:12:44goes to Amendola. That move a big one.
2:12:46 > 2:12:48Great move. Caught the Giants that time.
2:12:48 > 2:12:51They were coming with pressure. Tom Brady got rid of it quickly.
2:12:51 > 2:12:53And now he spikes it with six seconds.
2:12:53 > 2:12:55Gostkowski.
2:12:55 > 2:12:58He made a 57-yarder down at Dallas this year, a career long.
2:12:58 > 2:13:01He has not missed this entire season
2:13:01 > 2:13:05and has made 29 consecutive overall.
2:13:05 > 2:13:09In his career, 16 of 20 beyond 50. This from 50.
2:13:09 > 2:13:11Gostkowski's kick!
2:13:13 > 2:13:15It's good!
2:13:19 > 2:13:21I lost us the game.
2:13:21 > 2:13:24The play down to me is the only play that should've been made.
2:13:24 > 2:13:27You can't leave it up to officials to get anything right.
2:13:27 > 2:13:29We've got to find different ways, you know, and guys stepped in
2:13:29 > 2:13:34when Julian got hurt and we were down a bunch of tackles
2:13:34 > 2:13:37and guys are playing out of position and I just think we keep grinding
2:13:37 > 2:13:41our way through it and you've got to find different ways to win.
2:13:41 > 2:13:44There are fine margins between defeat and victory
2:13:44 > 2:13:47and there were some big calls there, but you've also got to take
2:13:47 > 2:13:50advantage of those calls and the Patriots always do.
2:13:50 > 2:13:51That's what happens.
2:13:51 > 2:13:53I mean, like you said, these are two great teams,
2:13:53 > 2:13:55they're going at it, they're going back and forth.
2:13:55 > 2:13:59You can't make mistakes, it's the one that makes the least mistakes
2:13:59 > 2:14:03and you see the big plays on special teams. You know, that's the factor.
2:14:04 > 2:14:07- It's a painful loss. - Are you still suffering?!
2:14:07 > 2:14:10- You two are both meant to be impartial.- Oh, my goodness, man.
2:14:10 > 2:14:14The Giants had so many opportunities to win this game
2:14:14 > 2:14:16and they came up short in the end.
2:14:16 > 2:14:18You have to take advantage of every opportunity you get
2:14:18 > 2:14:22against a team like the New England Patriots but Giants couldn't do it.
2:14:22 > 2:14:23Very disappointing loss.
2:14:23 > 2:14:26Very quickly on Patriots, Edelman is now out, injured.
2:14:26 > 2:14:30Do you just think they'll plug that gap like they've plugged other gaps?
2:14:30 > 2:14:31That's a hard guy to replace.
2:14:31 > 2:14:34You hope they will, but one thing about that team,
2:14:34 > 2:14:38- Tom Brady makes that thing tick, so...- I guarantee you they will.
2:14:38 > 2:14:41Let's take a look at the other two undefeated sides
2:14:41 > 2:14:45going into this weekend. Cincinnati's record has gone against the Texans.
2:14:45 > 2:14:47This is the only touchdown of the game.
2:14:47 > 2:14:50Yes, that's a great play and defensively,
2:14:50 > 2:14:52you have to time the jump and that's what didn't happen.
2:14:52 > 2:14:55Pacman Jones, who played a good game all day,
2:14:55 > 2:14:57he just didn't time the jump when he went up with them.
2:14:57 > 2:14:59He has to time it, go up with his left hand
2:14:59 > 2:15:02and try to split it from the offender.
2:15:02 > 2:15:06They still had opportunities, but that fumble cost them at the end,
2:15:06 > 2:15:08which means, Osi, you can feel smug...
2:15:08 > 2:15:09OSI LAUGHS ..because you said
2:15:09 > 2:15:11they wouldn't remain undefeated last week.
2:15:11 > 2:15:14Absolutely. There was no way they were going to remain undefeated.
2:15:14 > 2:15:16They were just not that calibre of a team.
2:15:16 > 2:15:19It was evident against the Houston Texans on Thursday.
2:15:19 > 2:15:21Panthers remain undefeated, though, beating the Titans.
2:15:21 > 2:15:23They continue to impress you?
2:15:23 > 2:15:24Yeah, they continue to impress me.
2:15:24 > 2:15:26They're playing to their strengths.
2:15:26 > 2:15:29Everybody is doing what they're supposed to do. I like 'em.
2:15:29 > 2:15:31Defensively, they're getting better.
2:15:31 > 2:15:33All right. It's the same question, I suppose,
2:15:33 > 2:15:35I'm asking - would the Patriots? Can they go?
2:15:35 > 2:15:36Can they continue to be undefeated?
2:15:36 > 2:15:38Absolutely...not.
2:15:40 > 2:15:42No way the Panthers go undefeated.
2:15:42 > 2:15:43They have too tough of a schedule.
2:15:43 > 2:15:45First of all, they have to play Atlanta twice.
2:15:45 > 2:15:47They're going to have to play New Orleans again.
2:15:47 > 2:15:49These are all division matchup games
2:15:49 > 2:15:50which are very difficult to call.
2:15:50 > 2:15:53No way the Carolina Panthers go undefeated.
2:15:54 > 2:15:56Well, joining us, I'm delighted to say,
2:15:56 > 2:15:59from Charlotte is the Panthers' head coach, Ron Rivera.
2:15:59 > 2:16:02Thank you very much for talking to us, Ron. We appreciate it.
2:16:02 > 2:16:04What do you think has been the big difference
2:16:04 > 2:16:06this season to last season?
2:16:08 > 2:16:11Well, you know, I think first of all probably the difference, really,
2:16:11 > 2:16:13has been what's been going on with our offence.
2:16:13 > 2:16:17I think the things that we started doing last year, week 13,
2:16:17 > 2:16:19have carried over into this season.
2:16:19 > 2:16:21Our quarterback has really played to his strengths.
2:16:21 > 2:16:24That no-huddle-style offence that we've been running.
2:16:24 > 2:16:27Mike Shula and the offensive coaches got together last off-season,
2:16:27 > 2:16:30almost two years ago, and put this package together.
2:16:30 > 2:16:32But we never really got the opportunity to utilise it
2:16:32 > 2:16:36cos the quarterback, Cam, had undergone ankle surgery
2:16:36 > 2:16:37in the off-season.
2:16:37 > 2:16:39He really didn't get anything started until training camp.
2:16:39 > 2:16:42Then he fractures the rib and we didn't get to get into it
2:16:42 > 2:16:46until week 13 of the 2014 season.
2:16:46 > 2:16:49Coach, I like how the defensive backfield has been playing.
2:16:49 > 2:16:53Does a pick up in the off-season like Tillman really help your team?
2:16:55 > 2:16:56Oh, it does, Jason.
2:16:56 > 2:16:58I think the thing that's really helped us,
2:16:58 > 2:17:00is also Roman Harper from two seasons ago.
2:17:00 > 2:17:02Bringing Roman in, brining that veteran leadership
2:17:02 > 2:17:04and really helping develop our young safeties.
2:17:04 > 2:17:06And brining Charles in, someone that can sit there
2:17:06 > 2:17:08and relate to the young corners.
2:17:08 > 2:17:10Now what we've done is we've got two veteran guys out there
2:17:10 > 2:17:13that are working together with those other three, four, five DBs
2:17:13 > 2:17:17that we use during a game, and they've really started to mesh.
2:17:17 > 2:17:19Ron, finally, when people talk about 16-0,
2:17:19 > 2:17:23is that generally media and fans?
2:17:23 > 2:17:25It really is. What's been kind of helpful, though,
2:17:25 > 2:17:28is the media has really, kind of, alerted us to a lot of things
2:17:28 > 2:17:31as we've gone through this, talking about each week.
2:17:31 > 2:17:33The thing that has been interesting
2:17:33 > 2:17:35is there were a couple of other teams that were undefeated
2:17:35 > 2:17:38that have lost. I've used them as an example to our players,
2:17:38 > 2:17:40because what's happened is you've seen these guys -
2:17:40 > 2:17:42all of a sudden they're on magazine covers,
2:17:42 > 2:17:45they're doing interviews, kind of like what I'm doing now, but...
2:17:45 > 2:17:46LAUGHTER
2:17:46 > 2:17:48..I can deal with it. But the players, you know,
2:17:48 > 2:17:51the distraction that comes along with that.
2:17:51 > 2:17:54I watch these other teams where I saw their stars being pulled
2:17:54 > 2:17:56in different directions. Guess who didn't play well?
2:17:56 > 2:17:58Those guys that didn't handle it.
2:17:58 > 2:18:00We really appreciate you taking the time to talk to us.
2:18:00 > 2:18:03Thank you very much, Ron. Go well the rest of the season.
2:18:03 > 2:18:06Great. Thank you, guys.
2:18:06 > 2:18:08Now, as we race to Super Bowl 50,
2:18:08 > 2:18:12the only guaranteed way of making the playoffs is to win your division,
2:18:12 > 2:18:14which makes those matchups even more important.
2:18:14 > 2:18:16Sunday night saw the Arizona Cardinals
2:18:16 > 2:18:20travel to the Seattle Seahawks - bitter rivals in the NFC West.
2:18:20 > 2:18:22Here's some background.
2:18:53 > 2:18:55Since Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson
2:18:55 > 2:18:58literally threw away Super Bowl 49 in February,
2:18:58 > 2:19:02the Seahawks have failed to recapture their playoff potential.
2:19:02 > 2:19:05With four wins and four losses this season,
2:19:05 > 2:19:07but backed by the vociferous 12th man crowd,
2:19:07 > 2:19:12they welcomed the Arizona Cardinals to CenturyLink Field on Sunday night.
2:19:12 > 2:19:15Knowing that they'd won four of the last five meetings between the two,
2:19:15 > 2:19:19another victory was imperative to close in on Carson Palmer
2:19:19 > 2:19:21and the Western Division Leaders.
2:19:28 > 2:19:31It's one of the things that the Arizona players were talking about -
2:19:31 > 2:19:35every time Seattle comes on the field in this rivalry game,
2:19:35 > 2:19:38they take this attitude, that this is something more than a game.
2:19:38 > 2:19:43They're angry. We haven't matched that attitude all the time.
2:19:43 > 2:19:44And the ball is loose in the end zone
2:19:44 > 2:19:46and Wilson is going to cover up.
2:19:46 > 2:19:50But this time it is a safety. So we had a near safety before.
2:19:50 > 2:19:53Wilson loses the ball, runs into his own man,
2:19:53 > 2:19:57and then is able to at least save five points.
2:20:00 > 2:20:013rd & 14.
2:20:02 > 2:20:06- Palmer with a deep drop.- Uh-oh. - Going to the end zone!
2:20:06 > 2:20:08It is caught by Floyd.
2:20:08 > 2:20:10Michael Floyd for the touchdown.
2:20:12 > 2:20:14Gets both feet in, has control from what we can tell.
2:20:14 > 2:20:20Look at control from this angle. Has it. Has it. That was a 3rd & 14.
2:20:20 > 2:20:21Nice job by Michael Floyd.
2:20:23 > 2:20:25From the 35-yard line,
2:20:25 > 2:20:28Palmer deep down the side line.
2:20:28 > 2:20:31Reaching for it is Floyd. Is he in?
2:20:31 > 2:20:33They rule on the field he's short of the goal line,
2:20:33 > 2:20:35but they're going to look at that on replay.
2:20:35 > 2:20:38- That looks like it's a touchdown. - Sure does.
2:20:38 > 2:20:41Runner had control of the ball, extended across the goal line.
2:20:41 > 2:20:42It is a touchdown.
2:20:42 > 2:20:45Arizona will not be charged with a time-out.
2:20:45 > 2:20:50The crowd a little stunned right now with 4.02 to go in the first half.
2:20:50 > 2:20:53Tukuafu is the full back, Lynch is the running back.
2:20:55 > 2:20:57On a 1st & goal, you give it to the full back, Tukuafu,
2:20:57 > 2:21:00and he will take it into the end zone.
2:21:02 > 2:21:06So they go 80 yards, six plays, three runs, three passes,
2:21:06 > 2:21:08almost get the touchdown to Graham.
2:21:09 > 2:21:12Get the pass interference and take it in.
2:21:14 > 2:21:17Seattle gets on the board for the first time in the game
2:21:17 > 2:21:19late in the first half.
2:21:21 > 2:21:24The Seahawks and Cardinals would trade field goals,
2:21:24 > 2:21:27with Seahawks' Steven Hauschka hitting a 31-yarder.
2:21:29 > 2:21:33And Cardinals' kicker Chandler Catanzaro hitting
2:21:33 > 2:21:37a pair of 43-yarders to give Arizona a 25-10 lead.
2:21:41 > 2:21:45Clean pocket, open man. Touchdown, Baldwin!
2:21:48 > 2:21:52Quick release, quick throw, get the ball out of his hands,
2:21:52 > 2:21:56maybe a little rhythm being found now with his passing game.
2:21:56 > 2:21:57Right back in it, 25-17.
2:22:00 > 2:22:04Bruce Arians such a fan-friendly kind of guy.
2:22:04 > 2:22:08Carson says he's rough on the players in their film sessions.
2:22:08 > 2:22:123rd down & 6. Look out! And he loses the ball. The ball is loose.
2:22:12 > 2:22:14It's picked up by the Seahawks.
2:22:14 > 2:22:18Rolling into the end zone for a touchdown is K J Wright.
2:22:21 > 2:22:25Ball is out, no question. It's actually going to get kicked there.
2:22:25 > 2:22:28But now let's watch and see as they pick it up,
2:22:28 > 2:22:30if Carson Palmer gets a piece.
2:22:33 > 2:22:37He's diving for the ball and definitely hits K J Wright,
2:22:37 > 2:22:39so that will not be a touchdown.
2:22:39 > 2:22:42Should be down by contact at the two-yard line.
2:22:42 > 2:22:44Lynch is the running back.
2:22:44 > 2:22:47Marshawn looking for room...
2:22:47 > 2:22:49Finds it! Touchdown.
2:22:54 > 2:22:57Now this game is starting to turn into the physical battle
2:22:57 > 2:23:01that I really thought it might be for the Seattle Seahawks
2:23:01 > 2:23:03and what they might do on offence.
2:23:03 > 2:23:05Maybe now they just carry this on.
2:23:05 > 2:23:093rd down, 4. Three receivers to the right.
2:23:12 > 2:23:14Palmer is going to go down. The ball is out again.
2:23:14 > 2:23:17Going into the end zone to give Seattle the lead
2:23:17 > 2:23:20for the touchdown is Bobby Wagner.
2:23:21 > 2:23:23K J Wright...
2:23:25 > 2:23:27..with the strip sack.
2:23:28 > 2:23:30When you've got that pressure, you have to block down.
2:23:30 > 2:23:33It's the interior gaps you have to get first.
2:23:35 > 2:23:39Maybe because of all the injuries and the substitutions,
2:23:39 > 2:23:46but they have made a lot of protection mistakes here tonight.
2:23:46 > 2:23:47From the 14.
2:23:51 > 2:23:52Carson throws to the end zone,
2:23:52 > 2:23:55and it's juggled and caught for a touchdown by Gresham.
2:23:55 > 2:23:59Jermaine Gresham juggled for an instant, holds it in -
2:23:59 > 2:24:02touchdown, and Arizona takes the lead again.
2:24:04 > 2:24:08I tell you - what a drive by Carson Palmer. To hang in there...
2:24:08 > 2:24:10There's Gresham, the guy that he said,
2:24:10 > 2:24:12"You want to pick out somebody to talk about
2:24:12 > 2:24:14"that's made a difference for us",
2:24:14 > 2:24:17that was as impressive a drive and a tough drive
2:24:17 > 2:24:19out of a quarterback as I've seen in a little while.
2:24:24 > 2:24:26Wilson then throws...
2:24:26 > 2:24:29It should have been intercepted by Tyrann Mathieu.
2:24:29 > 2:24:32Could not hold on, but it is 4th down & 15.
2:24:35 > 2:24:36From the 48.
2:24:37 > 2:24:39They run a draw with Ellington.
2:24:39 > 2:24:43He's going to get the 1st down and stay in bounds
2:24:43 > 2:24:46and go all the way to the end zone for the touchdown...
2:24:48 > 2:24:50..on a 3rd down & 4.
2:24:50 > 2:24:52What an unbelievable call.
2:24:52 > 2:24:55They went against a young guy, Frank Clark, on the outside.
2:24:55 > 2:24:57Never saw it coming.
2:24:57 > 2:25:00Goes inside and outside, just takes it right up the boundary.
2:25:00 > 2:25:02I thought he was just going to fall down there
2:25:02 > 2:25:04to make sure he stayed in bounds.
2:25:04 > 2:25:07- Did one better than that, didn't he? - Mm.
2:25:07 > 2:25:10What a tremendous call by Bruce Arians.
2:25:12 > 2:25:14COMMENTATORS LAUGH
2:25:14 > 2:25:16Along the side line it's Drew Stanton,
2:25:16 > 2:25:18the backup quarterback.
2:25:19 > 2:25:23This crowd, the decibel level has gone from about 115 to 6.
2:25:26 > 2:25:29The Seattle Seahawks have gone from being Super Bowl contenders
2:25:29 > 2:25:32to on the verge of not making the playoffs at all.
2:25:32 > 2:25:34Now, if they're going to get back to being contenders,
2:25:34 > 2:25:37this is exactly what they have to keep on doing -
2:25:37 > 2:25:38forcing turnovers.
2:25:38 > 2:25:41Now right here in the 4th quarter, you see them line up in,
2:25:41 > 2:25:44apparently, what looks to be an overload blitz.
2:25:44 > 2:25:47They have one, two, three, four, five people here.
2:25:47 > 2:25:50Carson Palmer, being the experienced quarterback that he is,
2:25:50 > 2:25:52he's going to slide the line to the left,
2:25:52 > 2:25:54meaning there's going to be an unblocked player coming free.
2:25:54 > 2:25:58He knows that. He has to get the ball off before the guy gets there.
2:25:58 > 2:26:00What happens?
2:26:00 > 2:26:04Absolutely nothing. Cliff Avril gets to him, knocks the ball loose.
2:26:04 > 2:26:05Look at this.
2:26:05 > 2:26:08He's over here celebrating while the ball is still loose.
2:26:08 > 2:26:11This is what's wrong with the Seattle Seahawks right now -
2:26:11 > 2:26:12an undisciplined football team.
2:26:12 > 2:26:15We've got one guy celebrating while the ball is loose.
2:26:15 > 2:26:18Luckily K J Wright had the presence of mind...
2:26:18 > 2:26:21Look at the focus on the ball as he picks up.
2:26:21 > 2:26:24Look at Carson Palmer dive helplessly at his feet
2:26:24 > 2:26:27and make the tackle. That was a good tackle by Carson Palmer anyway.
2:26:27 > 2:26:28But K J Wright picked it up
2:26:28 > 2:26:30and they were able to get some points out of this.
2:26:30 > 2:26:33Here you have another blitz
2:26:33 > 2:26:35with seven people on the line of scrimmage.
2:26:35 > 2:26:38The Arizona Cardinals only have six people to block them.
2:26:38 > 2:26:40I'm no mathematician, but I do know this.
2:26:40 > 2:26:43Seven minus six equals one coming free.
2:26:43 > 2:26:45Actually it looked like everybody came free,
2:26:45 > 2:26:47but that's besides the point.
2:26:47 > 2:26:51Right here, the Arizona Cardinals giving Carson Palmer
2:26:51 > 2:26:53what is known as the lookout block.
2:26:53 > 2:26:55What is the lookout block?
2:26:55 > 2:26:58They're yelling at him right now. "Look out, Carson!"
2:26:58 > 2:26:59But it's too late.
2:26:59 > 2:27:02Ball's knocked loose, picked up by Bobby Wagner
2:27:02 > 2:27:04and he goes all the way into the end zone.
2:27:04 > 2:27:07Now, if the Seattle Seahawks are going to continue
2:27:07 > 2:27:10and get back to being contenders in their NFC,
2:27:10 > 2:27:13they need to get back to forcing turnovers.
2:27:13 > 2:27:15We'll bring our resident mathematician back in now.
2:27:15 > 2:27:19Whilst he's focused on the Seahawks, can we focus on the Cardinals?
2:27:19 > 2:27:20Talk to me about Carson Palmer
2:27:20 > 2:27:23and the understanding he has with his offence.
2:27:23 > 2:27:26It's amazing right now. He's playing some really good football.
2:27:26 > 2:27:29You can see that his chemistry with his wide receivers
2:27:29 > 2:27:32is excellent - the way he's placing the ball around the field,
2:27:32 > 2:27:33these guys are feeling each other out.
2:27:33 > 2:27:35They've taken on this persona of their head coach
2:27:35 > 2:27:37where they're just getting after it.
2:27:37 > 2:27:39From your experience of being in teams,
2:27:39 > 2:27:40can you coach that understanding?
2:27:40 > 2:27:42I mean, I know you can work on it,
2:27:42 > 2:27:43but at the highest, highest level,
2:27:43 > 2:27:45it's almost telepathic, isn't it?
2:27:45 > 2:27:49It is. It's repetition. It's getting guys together.
2:27:49 > 2:27:51After practice, they've got to work on these things
2:27:51 > 2:27:54and figure out if they're seeing things the same way on the field.
2:27:54 > 2:27:56That's how they go out there and execute.
2:27:56 > 2:27:58I know you like dancing, obviously.
2:27:58 > 2:28:00It's one of your big things that we talk about.
2:28:00 > 2:28:02So let's just see Drew Stanton dancing.
2:28:02 > 2:28:04If Carson Palmer gets injured,
2:28:04 > 2:28:06at least they've got a backup quarterback who can dance.
2:28:06 > 2:28:08I must have watched this about 20 times this weekend.
2:28:08 > 2:28:11What I love about it is he's completely oblivious
2:28:11 > 2:28:13to the camera being on him, so it's completely natural.
2:28:13 > 2:28:16Absolutely. But the one thing that you must notice, though,
2:28:16 > 2:28:18is that this is a backup quarterback
2:28:18 > 2:28:20on the Arizona Cardinals team
2:28:20 > 2:28:23celebrating and dancing as if they won the Super Bowl.
2:28:23 > 2:28:26No, seriously, but this shows how much love
2:28:26 > 2:28:28and compassion this team has for each other
2:28:28 > 2:28:29and how together they are,
2:28:29 > 2:28:31cos they're all celebrating and they all love each other.
2:28:31 > 2:28:33That man is expressing.
2:28:33 > 2:28:35Oh, God, you've turned a negative into a positive.
2:28:35 > 2:28:38Let's continue with our series where well-known faces
2:28:38 > 2:28:39explain why they became a fan.
2:28:39 > 2:28:43Today, Eric Stonestreet, Cam from Modern Family,
2:28:43 > 2:28:46lays down his love of the Kansas City Chiefs.
2:28:46 > 2:28:48Why am I a Kansas City Chiefs fan?
2:28:48 > 2:28:51Well, when I was just a little guy in Kansas City, Kansas,
2:28:51 > 2:28:55Joe Delaney signed this card for me at Indian Springs Shopping Center.
2:28:55 > 2:28:58Then Jack Rudnay came to my 5th grade class.
2:28:58 > 2:29:00Then I got season tickets from my uncle Glen,
2:29:00 > 2:29:02and then my dad bought me season tickets
2:29:02 > 2:29:03in the corner of the end zone.
2:29:03 > 2:29:07I started following players like Deron Cherry, Albert Lewis,
2:29:07 > 2:29:10Kevin Ross, Lloyd Burruss,
2:29:10 > 2:29:12Dino Hackett, Tracy Simien,
2:29:12 > 2:29:13Neil Smith, Derrick Thomas,
2:29:13 > 2:29:16Barry Ward, Christian Okoye,
2:29:16 > 2:29:17John Alt, Dave Szott,
2:29:17 > 2:29:20Tim Grunhard, Irv Eatman.
2:29:20 > 2:29:22But why am I still a Kansas City Chiefs fan?
2:29:22 > 2:29:24Well...
2:29:31 > 2:29:34..I think that's pretty obvious.
2:29:36 > 2:29:40And if you are an NFL rookie, let's just reiterate what Andy Reid,
2:29:40 > 2:29:42head coach of the Chiefs, actually looks like.
2:29:42 > 2:29:44Then you can get the gag. You all right?
2:29:44 > 2:29:45I can't do it.
2:29:45 > 2:29:47Can you do the "Hit them folk"?
2:29:47 > 2:29:49I'm not doing that.
2:29:49 > 2:29:51The worrying thing is when I pull this moustache off,
2:29:51 > 2:29:54my actual moustache will come off with it. I'll look even more...
2:29:54 > 2:29:56- You've got to play with pain. - Right, moving on.
2:29:56 > 2:29:59Kansas City's visit to Denver starts our first round up,
2:29:59 > 2:30:02where NFL history was waiting to be made.
2:30:07 > 2:30:09Peyton Manning quickly found the four yards
2:30:09 > 2:30:13he needed to become the most prolific passer in NFL history.
2:30:13 > 2:30:18- ANNOUNCER:- Ladies and gentlemen, you have just witnessed NFL history.
2:30:18 > 2:30:19With that completion,
2:30:19 > 2:30:22Denver Broncos' quarterback Peyton Manning
2:30:22 > 2:30:25has become the NFL's all-time leader in career passing yards.
2:30:28 > 2:30:31As he enjoyed the applause, it was hard to contemplate
2:30:31 > 2:30:35that the day would end as one of his worst as a pro.
2:30:35 > 2:30:38The Chiefs completely dominated,
2:30:38 > 2:30:41and after Manning threw his fourth interception in the third quarter,
2:30:41 > 2:30:45he was benched in favour of backup, Brock Osweiler.
2:30:45 > 2:30:50Kansas City kicker Cairo Santos nailed five field goals.
2:30:50 > 2:30:53Charcandrick West scored two touchdowns,
2:30:53 > 2:30:56the second of which was an 80-yard pass from Alex Smith.
2:30:58 > 2:31:02The Chiefs won 29-13 to put them back in the playoff picture
2:31:02 > 2:31:04and leave the Broncos on a two-game losing streak.
2:31:07 > 2:31:10The Browns' first place set the tone for their day
2:31:10 > 2:31:12as they struggled again against Pittsburgh.
2:31:12 > 2:31:15Although Johnny Manziel had a career-best game,
2:31:15 > 2:31:18he was outshone by Ben Roethlisberger.
2:31:18 > 2:31:22Big Ben began the game on the bench and was forced into action
2:31:22 > 2:31:24in the first quarter, replacing Landry Jones.
2:31:24 > 2:31:26Then threw for three touchdowns,
2:31:26 > 2:31:28two of which were converted by Antonio Brown,
2:31:28 > 2:31:32as the Steelers eased past the hapless Browns and stayed in pursuit
2:31:32 > 2:31:34of the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North.
2:31:39 > 2:31:41The Philadelphia Eagles failed to take advantage
2:31:41 > 2:31:45of the New York Giants' demise when they played the Miami Dolphins.
2:31:45 > 2:31:47Again, it was a tale of two quarterbacks.
2:31:49 > 2:31:51With the Eagles leading by three points in the third quarter,
2:31:51 > 2:31:55Mark Sanchez came on to replace the injured Sam Bradford.
2:31:55 > 2:32:00However, with a big helping of good fortune, Miami then took the lead
2:32:00 > 2:32:04when this tipped pass was caught by the acrobatic Jarvis Landry.
2:32:06 > 2:32:08Then the Dolphins' defence took over,
2:32:08 > 2:32:11stopping Sanchez twice in the final five minutes.
2:32:11 > 2:32:15Reshad Jones with the interception to effectively win the game.
2:32:19 > 2:32:21A momentous day for Peyton Manning,
2:32:21 > 2:32:24and yet all the talk afterwards is whether he's nearing
2:32:24 > 2:32:26the end of his career.
2:32:26 > 2:32:30Obviously he's nearing the end, but is he getting ever closer?
2:32:30 > 2:32:32This was sad. This was really difficult for me to watch, man,
2:32:32 > 2:32:35because we are talking about the greatest quarterback
2:32:35 > 2:32:39in the history of the game reduced to looking like a pedestrian.
2:32:39 > 2:32:41He looks terrible right now.
2:32:41 > 2:32:43They need to figure out a way to get this man back on track
2:32:43 > 2:32:46or sit him down and let Brock Osweiler take over.
2:32:46 > 2:32:48I mean, he's banged up.
2:32:48 > 2:32:50He's not throwing the ball with his regular motion.
2:32:50 > 2:32:52You can't be late in this league.
2:32:52 > 2:32:55You can't have anything wrong with delivering the ball late,
2:32:55 > 2:32:57cos guys will jump on it and get interceptions.
2:32:57 > 2:32:59The guy is throwing four interceptions on average,
2:32:59 > 2:33:02almost, a game. We're talking about Peyton Manning here, man. Like...
2:33:02 > 2:33:04His arm is... His arm isn't the same.
2:33:04 > 2:33:06This is sad, man. It's sad to watch this.
2:33:06 > 2:33:07Moving on.
2:33:07 > 2:33:11Our third feature game is another crucial division matchup -
2:33:11 > 2:33:13the Motor City and the Cheeseheads.
2:33:16 > 2:33:20Detroit ended this NFC North matchup poles apart from Green Bay,
2:33:20 > 2:33:23the Cheeseheads topping the division with six wins,
2:33:23 > 2:33:26the Lions rock bottom with just one.
2:33:26 > 2:33:30Detroit's record against the Pack just six wins since the turn
2:33:30 > 2:33:35of the century, and without a win in Green Bay since 1991.
2:33:35 > 2:33:38The Lions' form this season - generally disappointing.
2:33:38 > 2:33:42Their task now made even tougher by the determination
2:33:42 > 2:33:45of the Packers to end a two-game losing streak of their own.
2:33:52 > 2:33:55Packers have been so good in the opening quarter -
2:33:55 > 2:33:5873 first quarter points,
2:33:58 > 2:34:01Most in the NFL, the margin is the best in the NFL.
2:34:04 > 2:34:07Rodgers...toward the end zone.
2:34:07 > 2:34:10Out of the reach of Davante Adams. It's 4th down.
2:34:10 > 2:34:12The Packers right now look like they'll take
2:34:12 > 2:34:15the points as Crosby comes on.
2:34:15 > 2:34:18Packers' Mason Crosby then kicked a 44-yard field goal
2:34:18 > 2:34:24to give them a 3-0 lead before Lions' Matt Prater converted a 49-yarder
2:34:24 > 2:34:26to make it 3-3 at half-time.
2:34:32 > 2:34:33I don't think Aaron Rodgers
2:34:33 > 2:34:35is seeing things quite as clean
2:34:35 > 2:34:36as he usually does,
2:34:36 > 2:34:38going back to last week's game.
2:34:38 > 2:34:39Then here in this first half
2:34:39 > 2:34:40has missed some guys
2:34:40 > 2:34:42that he's had opportunities
2:34:42 > 2:34:43to get the ball to.
2:34:43 > 2:34:45We'll see whether or not this Green Bay defence
2:34:45 > 2:34:46can continue to do what they're doing
2:34:46 > 2:34:49and get the ball back to their offence with the short field.
2:34:49 > 2:34:52Obviously Detroit getting the ball here to start this half.
2:34:52 > 2:34:55Abdullah will bring it out.
2:34:55 > 2:35:01And he's got room. Ameer Abdullah. He's into Green Bay territory.
2:35:01 > 2:35:06Inside the 15. To the end zone! A reach.
2:35:06 > 2:35:08He is just short of the touchdown by half a yard.
2:35:10 > 2:35:16Micha Hyde saved it, but the return is 104 yards.
2:35:16 > 2:35:19Ameer Abdullah has got Mike McCarthy shaking his head.
2:35:22 > 2:35:24They'll fake it to Tate.
2:35:24 > 2:35:29Stafford. Touchdown! He finds the tight end Pettigrew.
2:35:29 > 2:35:32On the first third down conversion of the game for the Lions,
2:35:32 > 2:35:36it's a touchdown to take their first lead of the afternoon.
2:35:36 > 2:35:40What a start here to start this second half for the Detroit Lions.
2:35:42 > 2:35:44Following the Packers' three and out,
2:35:44 > 2:35:47Matt Prater kicked his second field goal of the game
2:35:47 > 2:35:49from 51 yards to make it 12-3 to the Lions.
2:35:53 > 2:35:552nd & goal.
2:35:56 > 2:36:00They fake it. It's caught. Richard Rodgers touchdown.
2:36:02 > 2:36:05An excellent job finishing off that drive.
2:36:05 > 2:36:08Getting Green Bay right back in the middle of this game.
2:36:10 > 2:36:12Stafford. Pass caught. Golden Tate.
2:36:12 > 2:36:141st down. Still going.
2:36:14 > 2:36:17Still good after the initial hit.
2:36:17 > 2:36:19Golden Tate inside the 10.
2:36:19 > 2:36:23Taking bows after that one from Matthew Stafford.
2:36:23 > 2:36:27If they score a touchdown here, it's pretty much game over.
2:36:27 > 2:36:302nd down & goal. Stafford. End zone. Touchdown, Lance Moore!
2:36:32 > 2:36:35That's an excellent job against Casey Hayward.
2:36:35 > 2:36:37Lance Moore runs the slant route,
2:36:37 > 2:36:39slow-plays him off the line of scrimmage.
2:36:39 > 2:36:42That's a good call by offensive coordinator Jim Bob Cooter.
2:36:42 > 2:36:44This is a big extra point by Prater.
2:36:47 > 2:36:48Makes it a two-score game, and...
2:36:51 > 2:36:53..he did not get it.
2:36:55 > 2:36:56He's missed two!
2:37:00 > 2:37:02Rodgers. End zone, Perillo for the touchdown.
2:37:10 > 2:37:12But if the Packers are going to tie this game,
2:37:12 > 2:37:16he and the offence are going to have to find their way
2:37:16 > 2:37:18back into the end zone here for two.
2:37:22 > 2:37:23Rodgers.
2:37:24 > 2:37:26It's incomplete for Adams.
2:37:27 > 2:37:30Broken up by Crezdon Butler.
2:37:33 > 2:37:37And the Lions are 32 seconds away from their first win
2:37:37 > 2:37:40against the Packers on the road since 1991.
2:37:40 > 2:37:43He's got plenty of room. He gets the matchup.
2:37:43 > 2:37:47New kid, Butler on Davante Adams, pressure in the middle,
2:37:47 > 2:37:49unable to lay it out.
2:37:49 > 2:37:53Another missed opportunity to send the game into overtime
2:37:53 > 2:37:55for the second week in a row.
2:37:55 > 2:37:58Hope for the Green Bay Packers is an onside kick to make a play.
2:38:02 > 2:38:04Johnson can't! Randall can.
2:38:06 > 2:38:07Unbelievable!
2:38:07 > 2:38:11Through the hands of Calvin Johnson
2:38:11 > 2:38:15and into the arms of the rookie Damarious Randall.
2:38:15 > 2:38:17Life in Green Bay again!
2:38:17 > 2:38:20Who would you rather have out there than Calvin Johnson
2:38:20 > 2:38:23to get the good hop to be able to go up and make a play on the ball?
2:38:25 > 2:38:26He just is unable to make it.
2:38:26 > 2:38:29In these situations with the game on the line,
2:38:29 > 2:38:32you just don't know what's going to happen.
2:38:32 > 2:38:37They have given the ball back to the Packers with still plenty of time.
2:38:37 > 2:38:3823 seconds left.
2:38:40 > 2:38:413rd down & 10.
2:38:41 > 2:38:44Pass is caught by Adams.
2:38:45 > 2:38:47But they have to get up and stop the clock.
2:38:47 > 2:38:51They're inside Crosby's range, albeit at the edge of it.
2:38:51 > 2:38:53No time-outs for either side.
2:38:53 > 2:38:54Does the streak end here?
2:38:54 > 2:38:57Does it continue? It's up to this group -
2:38:57 > 2:39:01Goode, Mashtay and Crosby from 52.
2:39:03 > 2:39:06For the win. No go. Blocked.
2:39:08 > 2:39:11The Lions have won it.
2:39:11 > 2:39:15Jim Caldwell has brought his Lions to Lambeau Field
2:39:15 > 2:39:19and they're going to come out of here with an 18-16 win.
2:39:22 > 2:39:24They have good players on their side.
2:39:24 > 2:39:26We had some opportunities, I missed some throws
2:39:26 > 2:39:29and we missed some opportunities to convert
2:39:29 > 2:39:31and put some more points on the board.
2:39:31 > 2:39:35We needed 19 points to win today.
2:39:35 > 2:39:38You would expect us at home to score 19.
2:39:38 > 2:39:40Three defeats on the spin for the Packers.
2:39:40 > 2:39:42There's some debate now about whether Mike McCarthy,
2:39:42 > 2:39:45the head coach, should go back to calling the offensive plays
2:39:45 > 2:39:47rather than the associate head coach, Tom Clements.
2:39:47 > 2:39:49Should it make a difference?
2:39:49 > 2:39:51It really shouldn't, but what I will tell you is this -
2:39:51 > 2:39:54this is where you separate the head coaching boys
2:39:54 > 2:39:55from the head coaching men.
2:39:55 > 2:39:58Bill Belichick - doesn't matter who's out there,
2:39:58 > 2:40:00he's going to make these plays.
2:40:00 > 2:40:02Mike McCarthy loses a couple of players, all of a sudden,
2:40:02 > 2:40:05the Green Bay Packers fall apart. Man, this is crazy.
2:40:05 > 2:40:06Three games in a row?
2:40:06 > 2:40:07I think it's a leadership thing.
2:40:07 > 2:40:09When you start losing like this,
2:40:09 > 2:40:11something's got to change in the locker room.
2:40:11 > 2:40:13The guys that are the leaders, the core,
2:40:13 > 2:40:15they've got to do extra things.
2:40:15 > 2:40:18They've got to do more, because the young guys need to know what
2:40:18 > 2:40:21to follow, cos that's the only way it's going to start to be correct.
2:40:21 > 2:40:23Fire somebody. Got to fire some head coach.
2:40:23 > 2:40:25Fire somebody?
2:40:25 > 2:40:28You've been in England too long, that's the problem.
2:40:28 > 2:40:30Three other games to catch up on now,
2:40:30 > 2:40:33all crucial in the race to Super Bowl 50.
2:40:37 > 2:40:40Following the defeat of the Green Bay Packers,
2:40:40 > 2:40:43the Minnesota Vikings moved into sole possession of 1st place
2:40:43 > 2:40:47in the NFC North when they travelled to Oakland on Sunday.
2:40:47 > 2:40:51For the end zone. Catch made.

2:40:54 > 2:40:57Cordarrelle Patterson returned a kick off 97 yards
2:40:57 > 2:40:58at the end of the first half
2:40:58 > 2:41:02for the go-ahead score that the Vikings never relinquished.
2:41:02 > 2:41:08It's going to be a touchdown, Vikings, on the Patterson return.
2:41:08 > 2:41:11Vikings running back Adrian Peterson rushed for over 200 yards
2:41:11 > 2:41:14for a record-equalling sixth time in his career,
2:41:14 > 2:41:16including this 80-yard touchdown,
2:41:16 > 2:41:20which means that Minnesota have now won seven games straight
2:41:20 > 2:41:23and will relish the visit of the Green Bay Packers
2:41:23 > 2:41:24in Minneapolis next Sunday.
2:41:28 > 2:41:31Buffalo head coach Rex Ryan returned to New York last Thursday

2:41:47 > 2:41:49in pursuit of the New England Patriots
2:41:49 > 2:41:50in the AFC East.
2:41:53 > 2:41:55The Jacksonville Jaguars won on the road
2:41:55 > 2:41:58for the first time in nearly two years
2:41:58 > 2:42:02when they travelled to Baltimore, thanks to a thoughtless penalty
2:42:02 > 2:42:05given away by Ravens linebacker Elvis Dumervil.
2:42:05 > 2:42:07Trailing by a point and as time expired,
2:42:07 > 2:42:10Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles took the snap
2:42:10 > 2:42:14and was sacked by Dumervil, who was called for a face mask penalty,
2:42:14 > 2:42:17giving Jacksonville kicker Jason Myers the chance

2:42:28 > 2:42:31Let's go with Andrew Milne here.
2:42:31 > 2:42:35An NFL rookie, so a question for both of you, either of you can answer...
2:42:37 > 2:42:39He's not the only one that can throw a pass.
2:42:39 > 2:42:42Any eligible receiver can throw the ball to them
2:42:42 > 2:42:44and then they can throw the pass.
2:42:44 > 2:42:48But everyone has to be behind the line of scrimmage to throw the pass.

2:43:48 > 2:43:49Things were up and down,

2:44:30 > 2:44:31ALL: Ah!
2:44:34 > 2:44:37So before we go, let's take a look at the playoff picture.
2:44:37 > 2:44:39If the post-season started today,
2:44:39 > 2:44:42division winners in the AFC would be the undefeated New England Patriots.
2:44:42 > 2:44:46They'd be joined by the Bengals, the Colts,
2:44:46 > 2:44:49who were on a bye this week, and the ailing Broncos.
2:44:49 > 2:44:51The two teams with the next best records, the wild cards,
2:44:51 > 2:44:53they'd be Pittsburgh and Buffalo,
2:44:53 > 2:44:55with a whole host of other teams just a game behind.
2:44:55 > 2:44:58Over in the NFC, the Giants would qualify along with
2:44:58 > 2:45:02Minnesota, Carolina and Arizona as division winners.
2:45:02 > 2:45:04Green Bay and Atlanta would be the wild cards.
