2:00:25 > 2:00:29Hello and welcome to highlights of the NFL week 11.

2:00:35 > 2:00:37- Let's do it, baby. - There are those that stand

2:00:37 > 2:00:41undefeated in the race to Super Bowl 50.

2:00:41 > 2:00:46In the AFC, the New England Patriots, the defending champions.

2:00:46 > 2:00:50And who across the AFC would challenge the unbeaten Patriots?

2:00:50 > 2:00:53The Cincinnati Bengals, with just one defeat.

2:00:53 > 2:00:55The Denver Broncos, with seven victories,

2:00:55 > 2:01:01but without their star turn. Is this the end of an era?

2:01:01 > 2:01:03No great threat from the Indianapolis Colts,

2:01:03 > 2:01:07the AFC South has yet to stir.

2:01:07 > 2:01:13Unlike Carolina in the NFC, the Panthers on the prowl, unbeaten.

2:01:13 > 2:01:16- Touchdown!- Cam Newton - unstoppable.

2:01:16 > 2:01:19Eating up the wintry north, the Minnesota Vikings,

2:01:19 > 2:01:22ahead of the Green Bay Packers.

2:01:22 > 2:01:25Out west, it's airborne, The Arizona Cardinals

2:01:25 > 2:01:29and the Seattle Seahawks taking to the skies.

2:01:29 > 2:01:34- Touchdown Seahawks! - The New York Giants do not sleep.

2:01:34 > 2:01:39The NFL - bright-eyed, on full alert, in the race to Super Bowl 50.

2:01:43 > 2:01:48So entering week 11 the race to Super Bowl 50 looks like this.

2:01:48 > 2:01:50In the AFC, the division leaders and favourites for a playoff place

2:01:50 > 2:01:54are unbeaten New England, along with Cincinnati, Denver and Indianapolis.

2:01:54 > 2:01:56Then looking across the whole conference,

2:01:56 > 2:01:58if you take out those division leaders,

2:01:58 > 2:02:01the two teams with the best win/loss records become the wildcards,

2:02:01 > 2:02:04so Pittsburgh leading the way, together with Buffalo,

2:02:04 > 2:02:07there is a large group of teams behind just waiting to pounce.

2:02:07 > 2:02:11If we go over to the NFC, undefeated Carolina lead the way,

2:02:11 > 2:02:14together with Arizona, Minnesota and the New York Giants.

2:02:14 > 2:02:18The NFC wild card berths currently occupied by Green Bay

2:02:18 > 2:02:24and Atlanta, both two games clear of the chasing bunch.

2:02:24 > 2:02:27So, 32 NFL teams started the season,

2:02:27 > 2:02:29but the race to Super Bowl 50 will reduce that number

2:02:29 > 2:02:30to just 12 for the playoffs,

2:02:30 > 2:02:34and helping to chart that progress is former quarterback

2:02:34 > 2:02:37with Dallas, Houston and the New York Giants Jason Bell,

2:02:37 > 2:02:39and we have our own two-time Super Bowl winner,

2:02:39 > 2:02:43both with the New York Giants, Osi Umenyiora.

2:02:43 > 2:02:47So, as we enter the business end of the NFL regular season,

2:02:47 > 2:02:49here's what we have on offer.

2:02:55 > 2:02:58Into the end zone and it is...caught!

2:02:58 > 2:03:02John Brown, touchdown Arizona.

2:03:03 > 2:03:05To the end zone - caught!

2:03:05 > 2:03:09Huge touchdown for the Green Bay Packers.

2:03:10 > 2:03:14Osweiler, wide open, Demaryius Thomas, nobody near him.

2:03:14 > 2:03:18Thomas takes it all the way - touchdown Broncos.

2:03:23 > 2:03:26Let's start with the two unbeaten sides,

2:03:26 > 2:03:28the Patriots and the Panthers. We'll go with the Patriots,

2:03:28 > 2:03:33now 10-0 having beaten the Bills, two James White touchdowns,

2:03:33 > 2:03:35which means yet again...

2:03:35 > 2:03:38they find someone, slot him in, and he delivers, Jason.

2:03:38 > 2:03:41Tom Brady is amazing, but all these injuries are starting to scare me.

2:03:41 > 2:03:43How many guys can they plug in?

2:03:43 > 2:03:46But with him behind the QB, anything can happen.

2:03:46 > 2:03:49They can plug in anybody, cos they have a genius head coach,

2:03:49 > 2:03:50like I like to say.

2:03:50 > 2:03:53Bill Belichick is the guy getting these people open, not Tom Brady.

2:03:53 > 2:03:55But they also have Tom Brady -

2:03:55 > 2:03:58let me read you a quote from Brady after that game.

2:03:58 > 2:04:01He said he was agitated for the whole three hours and 20 minutes,

2:04:01 > 2:04:04he wanted to try and create urgency among the team, making sure

2:04:04 > 2:04:08that everyone's focused and letting them know that he was focused.

2:04:08 > 2:04:11This is Tom Brady, who doesn't necessarily have to do that.

2:04:11 > 2:04:13He's won everything there is to win,

2:04:13 > 2:04:17yet even now he's still as focused as he probably was when he was 25.

2:04:17 > 2:04:19That's why he's the leader of your team.

2:04:19 > 2:04:22For a guy to have that many accolades, and the game is

2:04:22 > 2:04:25that important to him, guys get behind that, he gets them fired up.

2:04:25 > 2:04:28That's what you need in the race to the Super Bowl.

2:04:28 > 2:04:31Time for your weekly argument about the Carolina Panthers.

2:04:31 > 2:04:34They win again, they're 10-0,

2:04:34 > 2:04:38five touchdown passes for Cam Newton to five different players -

2:04:38 > 2:04:43when are they going to get the credit that some people think they deserve?

2:04:43 > 2:04:47- Cam Newton's playing MVP football. - MV... What?- MVP football.

2:04:47 > 2:04:51- LAUGHING:- Come on, that's a ridiculous statement, Jason!

2:04:51 > 2:04:53We just got through talking about Tom Brady,

2:04:53 > 2:04:56are you going to put Cam Newton in the same league as Tom Brady?

2:04:56 > 2:05:00Cam Newton, who has a career-low completion percentage this year,

2:05:00 > 2:05:02that's who you're going to say is the MVP of the league?

2:05:02 > 2:05:04He's doing what that team needs him to do.

2:05:04 > 2:05:07They're a running team, they need big plays down the field,

2:05:07 > 2:05:10- and he's exciting.- Anybody could do that. Mark here could do that.

2:05:10 > 2:05:12You see how the fans get behind him, they love him,

2:05:12 > 2:05:14he's having highlight plays, the kid is ballin'.

2:05:14 > 2:05:18He needs to find a better way to complete passes down the field.

2:05:18 > 2:05:21As I say, weekly argument.

2:05:21 > 2:05:24If you want to be involved, just use the hashtag #RaceToSB50,

2:05:24 > 2:05:27or if you're new to the sport, #NFLRookie.

2:05:27 > 2:05:30Jason and Osi will be looking to answer a few of your questions,

2:05:30 > 2:05:32such as, "Osi, why don't you like Cam Newton?"

2:05:32 > 2:05:36As we said, winning your division in the NFL is paramount -

2:05:36 > 2:05:38it guarantees a playoff place -

2:05:38 > 2:05:41so we start with two divisional leaders, an intriguing matchup

2:05:41 > 2:05:44as the Cincinnati Bengals travel to the Arizona Cardinals.

2:05:46 > 2:05:49The Cincinnati Bengals lost their unbeaten record in week 10,

2:05:49 > 2:05:52going down at home to the Houston Texans.

2:05:52 > 2:05:56With the Pittsburgh Steelers hot on their heels in the AFC North,

2:05:56 > 2:05:59they must get back to winning ways with a trip to Arizona

2:05:59 > 2:06:01to take on the Cardinals,

2:06:01 > 2:06:04who sit proudly on top of the NFC West

2:06:04 > 2:06:05with seven wins.

2:06:05 > 2:06:08Two of them recently against Cincinnati's fellow

2:06:08 > 2:06:11division rivals Cleveland and Baltimore.

2:06:11 > 2:06:14It's a duel in the desert, as both teams look to assert

2:06:14 > 2:06:19their own divisional dominance, and Carson Palmer faces his old team.

2:06:24 > 2:06:28So after three straight 1st downs, Arizona now faced with

2:06:28 > 2:06:30a 3rd and 20.

2:06:31 > 2:06:36Palmer, fires - and that's going to be picked off at the 35-yard line.

2:06:36 > 2:06:38The pass intended for Fitzgerald,

2:06:38 > 2:06:42and Leon Hall intercepts for Cincinnati.

2:06:42 > 2:06:46Carson Palmer, who missed ten games last year with a pair of injuries.

2:06:46 > 2:06:49Very clean pocket, deep downfield, and that's

2:06:49 > 2:06:52picked off again by Reggie Nelson, the second interception,

2:06:52 > 2:06:57and Nelson, with the flag down, takes it back to the 35-yard line.

2:06:57 > 2:07:00I don't know what Carson saw there.

2:07:00 > 2:07:02There's two deep safeties down there,

2:07:02 > 2:07:04his receiver is going to come across the middle,

2:07:04 > 2:07:07I'm sure he thought he was going to go to the post, but even if he goes

2:07:07 > 2:07:10to the post, there's nothing there,

2:07:10 > 2:07:14those are two very non-Carson-Palmer-like throws.

2:07:14 > 2:07:173rd and goal from the 3.

2:07:17 > 2:07:20And Dalton will fire, and that will be caught,

2:07:20 > 2:07:24for a touchdown, Tyler Eifert.

2:07:24 > 2:07:27Again into the end zone, so what a red zone combination

2:07:27 > 2:07:30that has been, and Palmer watches his pick.

2:07:30 > 2:07:33And the turnover turned into a Cincinnati touchdown.

2:07:33 > 2:07:36Very uncharacteristically with those two turnovers,

2:07:36 > 2:07:39both interceptions thrown by Palmer.

2:07:43 > 2:07:46And now you got Palmer off the play fake,

2:07:46 > 2:07:49and he's going to go for it all on the 3rd and 1, and it will be

2:07:49 > 2:07:52hauled in for a touchdown by Darren Fells, the tight end.

2:07:55 > 2:07:58Palmer, a perfect throw out to the former basketball player,

2:07:58 > 2:08:02Darren Fells did not even play college football.

2:08:02 > 2:08:03Jones comes in motion.

2:08:06 > 2:08:09And the hand-off goes to Hill, and he chugs his way into the end zone

2:08:09 > 2:08:11to give them the lead.

2:08:11 > 2:08:13So they put the fullback in there, Hewitt,

2:08:13 > 2:08:16he goes right in behind him, and Cincinnati is back on top.

2:08:18 > 2:08:21They need somebody to step up and be a threat other than

2:08:21 > 2:08:25Larry Fitzgerald in this game, they are missing Michael Floyd.

2:08:25 > 2:08:30Palmer still hasn't thrown over 100 yards tonight. Eight of 14 from 94.

2:08:31 > 2:08:33- Off-play action...- Look out.

2:08:33 > 2:08:36Now he's going to go deep downfield, has a man caught?

2:08:36 > 2:08:39Nelson, and he's in for the touchdown!

2:08:43 > 2:08:4664 yards to the speedy rookie.

2:08:47 > 2:08:51Carson Palmer, that was just a perfectly thrown ball.

2:08:55 > 2:08:592nd and 1, Palmer fires into the end zone, and it is...

2:08:59 > 2:09:03caught! John Brown, touchdown Arizona.

2:09:04 > 2:09:08Back-to-back touchdown drives, 66 yards, eight plays,

2:09:08 > 2:09:09Arizona has the lead.

2:09:09 > 2:09:11Beautifully timed throw,

2:09:11 > 2:09:14and now you can see Carson Palmer starting to make

2:09:14 > 2:09:16some of the throws that made him

2:09:16 > 2:09:19one of the top candidates to be the MVP in this league.

2:09:20 > 2:09:22Dalton is all for six in this half,

2:09:22 > 2:09:26and now he's going to get sacked at the two-yard line by Dwight Freeney.

2:09:26 > 2:09:30David Johnson in the backfield now.

2:09:31 > 2:09:36And Palmer will float one into the end zone - caught!

2:09:36 > 2:09:38David Johnson touchdown!

2:09:38 > 2:09:40Threw that one over Burfict.

2:09:41 > 2:09:44Beautiful arcing rain ball from Palmer,

2:09:44 > 2:09:47who's now thrown four touchdown passes tonight,

2:09:47 > 2:09:49and 21 unanswered points

2:09:49 > 2:09:53in the quarter for the Arizona Cardinals.

2:09:56 > 2:10:0013 minutes left, but they're going to go for it on 4th down and 4.

2:10:00 > 2:10:05Down by 14 points. The crowd rises as one.

2:10:06 > 2:10:11Almost shunted offside, Dalton hangs in, fires - caught,

2:10:11 > 2:10:13and that's a huge, huge 1st down.

2:10:13 > 2:10:16Mohamed Sanu makes it 1st down and goal.

2:10:18 > 2:10:19..Hue Jackson playbook,

2:10:19 > 2:10:23and then Hill is able to barrel his way in for a touchdown.

2:10:23 > 2:10:25Whoa, and then you got a little extra stuff

2:10:25 > 2:10:27going on in the end zone.

2:10:27 > 2:10:31Mathieu and Hill, team-mates at LSU.

2:10:31 > 2:10:33No love emanating from the bayou tonight,

2:10:33 > 2:10:36as Cincinnati makes it a one-possession game again.

2:10:36 > 2:10:39Bengals got a big break on the stumble,

2:10:39 > 2:10:42and it's fourth down on a punt.

2:10:42 > 2:10:433rd and 10.

2:10:43 > 2:10:46Here comes the blitz.

2:10:46 > 2:10:49He loses the ball and it's taken away.

2:10:49 > 2:10:54Markus Golden came in, and then it was taken away, Deone Bucannon...

2:10:54 > 2:10:56comes up with the recovery.

2:10:58 > 2:11:00The Cardinals weren't able to convert the Dalton fumble

2:11:00 > 2:11:04into a touchdown, but kicker Chandler Catanzaro hit

2:11:04 > 2:11:08a 24-yard field goal to give Arizona a 31-21 lead.

2:11:08 > 2:11:10CHEERING

2:11:15 > 2:11:17Dalton, to the end zone...

2:11:17 > 2:11:19and that'll be caught for a touchdown!

2:11:19 > 2:11:24Eifert again, his second catch, touchdown grab, of the night,

2:11:24 > 2:11:28and 11 TD receptions for the tight end.

2:11:28 > 2:11:31Gutsy drive there by Andy Dalton.

2:11:31 > 2:11:38And the Bengals close to within three with 3.44 left in the fourth.

2:11:38 > 2:11:423rd down and 1. Palmer milking as much of the play clock as he can.

2:11:44 > 2:11:48Under three minutes to play. And a huge stop...

2:11:48 > 2:11:52for the Bengals, on a 3rd and 1, they give it to Johnson,

2:11:52 > 2:11:55so they'll get the ball back, plenty of time, all their time-outs

2:11:55 > 2:11:59plus the two-minute warning that's not even an issue right now.

2:11:59 > 2:12:03Three game-winning fourth quarter or overtime drives...

2:12:04 > 2:12:07..for Andy Dalton. 1st and 10.

2:12:07 > 2:12:1037-yard line, Cardinals,

2:12:10 > 2:12:1318 straight games they've won with a fourth-quarter lead.

2:12:13 > 2:12:16Make it 28, 28 straight.

2:12:16 > 2:12:18Longest current streak in the league -

2:12:18 > 2:12:20can they keep that one rolling?

2:12:20 > 2:12:23And Bernard gets away, he's inside the 40,

2:12:23 > 2:12:29and to the 32-yard line, and already Cincinnati in field goal range

2:12:29 > 2:12:32but thinking about a lot more now.

2:12:32 > 2:12:35Now you've got the big moment in the game, because you pick this up,

2:12:35 > 2:12:39you basically can control the clock the rest of the way out.

2:12:39 > 2:12:413rd and 2.

2:12:43 > 2:12:48And down the sideline, and broken up, and incomplete.

2:12:48 > 2:12:52Bethel was there, got a hand on it, Green is pleading his case.

2:12:52 > 2:12:57AJ Green caught it, I think his foot hit the pylon, though.

2:12:58 > 2:12:59Bethel is there...

2:13:01 > 2:13:03He winds up with the ball.

2:13:05 > 2:13:07- Everything goes flying there.- Yep.

2:13:07 > 2:13:10Bounces off his shoulder pad, and then he's out.

2:13:10 > 2:13:12Good call, now a big kick.

2:13:16 > 2:13:17And that will...

2:13:17 > 2:13:20tie the game, with 63 seconds,

2:13:20 > 2:13:24Arizona will get the ball, but they will not have a time-out.

2:13:24 > 2:13:26From the 35-yard line.

2:13:28 > 2:13:31Palmer fires, and that's caught by Fitzgerald,

2:13:31 > 2:13:33and Larry will get out of bounds.

2:13:33 > 2:13:36Throwing the ball out of bounds to stop the clock.

2:13:36 > 2:13:38And just like that, they're into Cincinnati territory,

2:13:38 > 2:13:41Catanzaro loosening up.

2:13:42 > 2:13:4334 seconds.

2:13:45 > 2:13:51Palmer fires - Fitzgerald! Into field goal range, the 26.

2:13:51 > 2:13:54Now he wants to spike the ball, stop the clock.

2:13:54 > 2:13:56Clock ticking down to 20.

2:13:57 > 2:14:00And a first out of the 26-yard line.

2:14:00 > 2:14:02So already within Catanzaro's range

2:14:02 > 2:14:05clearly would be a 44-yard attempt.

2:14:05 > 2:14:08Be a good idea to try to hit the field goal

2:14:08 > 2:14:10on third down in case you have a botched...

2:14:10 > 2:14:12- Snap!- Whoops.- Oh, boy.

2:14:12 > 2:14:14Whoops! That's not what you wanted.

2:14:14 > 2:14:16But they're going to call this one on Cincinnati.

2:14:16 > 2:14:18They are, and I think they're going to say that

2:14:18 > 2:14:20they were simulating the count.

2:14:20 > 2:14:24That'll stop the clock with six seconds,

2:14:24 > 2:14:27so this would make it about a 40-yard field goal,

2:14:27 > 2:14:31if indeed the call is on Cincinnati.

2:14:31 > 2:14:34Unsportsmanlike conduct, defence number 94.

2:14:40 > 2:14:42Half the distance to the goal.

2:14:42 > 2:14:44Wow, it's more than a five-yard penalty.

2:14:44 > 2:14:49Half the distance here, as Domata Peko simulating the count,

2:14:49 > 2:14:52and that's going to make it a chip shot field goal for the win.

2:14:52 > 2:14:55This makes it a 32-yard attempt

2:14:55 > 2:14:58for Catanzaro to, in effect, win the game.

2:14:59 > 2:15:00And the kick is good.

2:15:05 > 2:15:06Wild one.

2:15:08 > 2:15:10Started out pretty slow first half,

2:15:10 > 2:15:13but the second half was crazy.

2:15:13 > 2:15:15That's why the schedule these things for 60 minutes.

2:15:15 > 2:15:18And it was a heck of a ballgame against a heck of a team,

2:15:18 > 2:15:20extremely well-coached team.

2:15:20 > 2:15:23And very, very proud of our guys.

2:15:23 > 2:15:25Again, things didn't always go our way,

2:15:25 > 2:15:27but we managed to keep fighting,

2:15:27 > 2:15:30and making some key plays down the stretch.

2:15:30 > 2:15:33I trust our quarterback and our receivers to make plays,

2:15:33 > 2:15:35and we made the plays to win the game.

2:15:37 > 2:15:40The Arizona Cardinals with a statement victory against

2:15:40 > 2:15:44the Cincinnati Bengals, all because of the play of this man right here.

2:15:44 > 2:15:46Now, a little back story about Carson Palmer.

2:15:46 > 2:15:49He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals with the first pick overall,

2:15:49 > 2:15:51played a couple of years there,

2:15:51 > 2:15:54made a couple of Pro Bowls, and how did they reward him?

2:15:54 > 2:15:58By trading him. So he goes into this game with a chip on his shoulder.

2:15:58 > 2:15:59How does he start the game off?

2:15:59 > 2:16:02By throwing a ridiculous interception

2:16:02 > 2:16:04to the Cincinnati Bengals.

2:16:04 > 2:16:06Now, I could not understand what would make him throw

2:16:06 > 2:16:09a pass like that, being the experienced quarterback that he is.

2:16:09 > 2:16:10And then it finally dawned on me -

2:16:10 > 2:16:14- he thought he was still playing for the Cincinnati Bengals! - LAUGHTER

2:16:14 > 2:16:18Made a mistake, and the Cincinnati Bengals capitalised on it.

2:16:18 > 2:16:22Now, as a great football player, what did you do to combat that?

2:16:22 > 2:16:24What do you do when things start going wrong

2:16:24 > 2:16:27and you have to find the intestinal fortitude to come through?

2:16:27 > 2:16:29Watch what Carson Palmer does right here.

2:16:29 > 2:16:33This is a play action fake right here to Chris Johnson.

2:16:33 > 2:16:35What does this do? It draws the linebackers up,

2:16:35 > 2:16:38and it allows for the rookie speedy receiver JJ Nelson

2:16:38 > 2:16:40to get behind the defence.

2:16:40 > 2:16:43Carson Palmer with a beautiful pass down the field to Nelson,

2:16:43 > 2:16:45who goes all the way in for a touchdown.

2:16:45 > 2:16:48That, ladies and gentlemen, is how you come back.

2:16:48 > 2:16:51Two minutes to go, where most games in NFL are lost and won,

2:16:51 > 2:16:53with two minutes in the game.

2:16:53 > 2:16:5556 seconds left in the game,

2:16:55 > 2:16:58Carson Palmer has to move his team all the way down the football field.

2:16:58 > 2:17:00Let's see how he was able to do this.

2:17:00 > 2:17:03Number one, he finds Larry Fitzgerald

2:17:03 > 2:17:05with a pinpoint pass accurate to the outside,

2:17:05 > 2:17:07and he gets all the way in, stretches in,

2:17:07 > 2:17:09finds a way to get the ball out of bounds.

2:17:09 > 2:17:12What this does is it stops the clock, gives them more time

2:17:12 > 2:17:15to get down the field. Here's the second pass he does.

2:17:15 > 2:17:19Beautiful pass, over the middle, finds Larry Fitzgerald again,

2:17:19 > 2:17:22who gets down and still leaves some time on the clock

2:17:22 > 2:17:25for the field goal team to come out there and win the game.

2:17:25 > 2:17:27Cincinnati Bengals lost this football game.

2:17:27 > 2:17:30Carson Palmer played excellent for the Arizona Cardinals,

2:17:30 > 2:17:33found a way to win the game at the end.

2:17:33 > 2:17:34Well, thank you very much, Osi.

2:17:34 > 2:17:36Let's get more from the Cardinals now.

2:17:36 > 2:17:39A member of their defence is joining us - Rashad Johnson.

2:17:39 > 2:17:41Rashad, thanks for talking to us.

2:17:41 > 2:17:45First of all, was Carson Palmer different in the build-up

2:17:45 > 2:17:48in the week to the game with the Bengals?

2:17:48 > 2:17:51No, Carson wasn't too different.

2:17:51 > 2:17:54He's always focused, he's always businesslike.

2:17:54 > 2:17:57I think he's just been, you know, extremely focused this year,

2:17:57 > 2:17:59just trying to reach the goal that all of us have

2:17:59 > 2:18:01in attaining the Super Bowl.

2:18:01 > 2:18:03You know, bouncing back from his injury last year.

2:18:03 > 2:18:07That was a bigger game for him, though, wasn't it?

2:18:07 > 2:18:09Definitely. I mean, playing for that organisation,

2:18:09 > 2:18:11being there and the way things happened

2:18:11 > 2:18:14where he transitioned out to Oakland -

2:18:14 > 2:18:16I think it was definitely a big game for him.

2:18:16 > 2:18:19And being able to prove to those guys that he's still got it,

2:18:19 > 2:18:22still got the goods to get the job done.

2:18:22 > 2:18:25Rashad, you lost your defensive coordinator, Todd Bowles,

2:18:25 > 2:18:27to the Jets. But you guys haven't missed a beat.

2:18:27 > 2:18:30What do you attribute that to?

2:18:30 > 2:18:33I attribute it to the coaching staff now,

2:18:33 > 2:18:37but also just the veteran players that we've got on this defence.

2:18:37 > 2:18:42Myself, Tyrann, Jerraud Powers, Patrick Peterson, Calais Campbell -

2:18:42 > 2:18:46I mean, we've got a lot of veteran guys that have been around here for the past few years.

2:18:46 > 2:18:49They knew what it took to have a good defence and what it takes to get the job done.

2:18:49 > 2:18:53And I mean, we just continued to go with that same momentum

2:18:53 > 2:18:54and same attitude week in and week out.

2:18:54 > 2:18:57But it's been also a combination of Coach Bettcher as well.

2:18:57 > 2:19:00You know, just taking what he brought to the table,

2:19:00 > 2:19:01and also adding what we already had.

2:19:01 > 2:19:03And, you know, it's been working out great for us.

2:19:03 > 2:19:06Do you feel as a group of players that

2:19:06 > 2:19:08you're on the verge of something special?

2:19:10 > 2:19:13You can feel it in the building, that we've got something special.

2:19:13 > 2:19:15We've got all the tools to get the job done.

2:19:15 > 2:19:17But that doesn't mean that the job will get done.

2:19:17 > 2:19:20We've still got to go out each and every week, continue to

2:19:20 > 2:19:23respect the process, work hard on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays

2:19:23 > 2:19:27like we've been doing, and then on Sundays, just get the job done.

2:19:27 > 2:19:29So we definitely feel the specialness in this group,

2:19:29 > 2:19:32but we also understand it's not just going to happen because we're special.

2:19:32 > 2:19:37We've still got to continue to put in the work throughout the week to get the wins on Sunday.

2:19:37 > 2:19:39Rashad, thank you very much for talking to us.

2:19:39 > 2:19:40We really do appreciate it.

2:19:40 > 2:19:43- Yes, sir, thank you for having me. - Thank you.

2:19:43 > 2:19:46Well, we're now going to continue our series

2:19:46 > 2:19:48of famous faces who are NFL fans.

2:19:48 > 2:19:52The former world heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield

2:19:52 > 2:19:55explains why he is a fan of the Atlanta Falcons.

2:19:55 > 2:19:57I'm a Falcon fan.

2:19:57 > 2:19:59I've been there when they weren't good.

2:19:59 > 2:20:02You know, I started when I was a kid, four years old.

2:20:02 > 2:20:04I didn't have no money.

2:20:04 > 2:20:07I couldn't afford to go to the stadium, so I had to work.

2:20:07 > 2:20:11So I became a vendor at the stadium where I could see the Falcons,

2:20:11 > 2:20:14and I got there and then I saw some great games.

2:20:14 > 2:20:17You know, like William Andrews running that ball,

2:20:17 > 2:20:19Bartkowski throwing the ball like this.

2:20:19 > 2:20:22I was a Falcons fan. Did they win?

2:20:22 > 2:20:25No, they didn't win, but the fact is I was a Falcons fan,

2:20:25 > 2:20:29so, ultimately, we're looking for them to rise up,

2:20:29 > 2:20:32become the world champion.

2:20:32 > 2:20:37I'm a fan. But at the end, everybody wants you to be a champion.

2:20:37 > 2:20:40And I know that they will be the real deal, too.

2:20:40 > 2:20:44And Atlanta, who are desperately trying to keep pace with

2:20:44 > 2:20:47the runaway Carolina Panthers in the NFC South

2:20:47 > 2:20:48feature in our second game.

2:20:48 > 2:20:52On Sunday they entertained the leaders of the AFC South.

2:20:54 > 2:20:58The Indianapolis Colts enter week 11 with five losses

2:20:58 > 2:21:01and only four wins, but they still head the AFC South.

2:21:01 > 2:21:03Whoo-hoo! Good time, baby!

2:21:03 > 2:21:06With quarterback Matt Hasselbeck replacing the injured Andrew Luck,

2:21:06 > 2:21:08out with a lacerated kidney,

2:21:08 > 2:21:11they travelled to Atlanta to take on a team coming off a bye week

2:21:11 > 2:21:15and looking to snap a two-game losing streak.

2:21:15 > 2:21:16For very different reasons,

2:21:16 > 2:21:19this was a game neither could afford to lose.

2:21:32 > 2:21:35Hasselbeck intercepted at the 45-yard line

2:21:35 > 2:21:38by Paul Worrilow, the middle linebacker.

2:21:38 > 2:21:40Well, that's what you worry about,

2:21:40 > 2:21:43is the communication between Matt Hasselbeck

2:21:43 > 2:21:46and the receivers, just because he doesn't get the same

2:21:46 > 2:21:48amount of reps that Andrew Luck has had with them.

2:21:48 > 2:21:51That time, just a complete miscommunication

2:21:51 > 2:21:53with Coby Fleener.

2:21:53 > 2:21:57Hasselbeck had gone 124 straight passes without an interception.

2:21:57 > 2:22:00That was the fourth longest active streak in the NFL.

2:22:02 > 2:22:04Ryan pulls it down, now throwing,

2:22:04 > 2:22:06tipped over the middle!

2:22:06 > 2:22:09Let's see if that's an interception or not.

2:22:09 > 2:22:12Picked of the turf by Dwight Lowery.

2:22:12 > 2:22:15Because it's a turnover, this automatically gets reviewed,

2:22:15 > 2:22:17but you can see he has it in his hands,

2:22:17 > 2:22:20but when it hits the ground, the ball moves, so this will be

2:22:20 > 2:22:23turned over, or turned back to the Falcons, I believe.

2:22:23 > 2:22:24After reviewing the play,

2:22:24 > 2:22:27the ruling on the field of the touchback stands as called.

2:22:27 > 2:22:28First down Indianapolis.

2:22:28 > 2:22:32So Dwight Lowery gets credit for the interception.

2:22:32 > 2:22:36In possession, the Colts stalled on an eight play drive

2:22:36 > 2:22:39and were forced to pump the ball back to the Falcons.

2:22:44 > 2:22:45Ryan.

2:22:45 > 2:22:49Throwing wide open for the touchdown

2:22:49 > 2:22:50is Patrick DiMarco.

2:22:58 > 2:23:00Ryan throwing,

2:23:00 > 2:23:02end zone touchdown.

2:23:02 > 2:23:05And once again, Patrick DiMarco -

2:23:05 > 2:23:09who has now scored his first two touchdowns of this NFL season.

2:23:13 > 2:23:17A little push to Bradshaw to the end zone for the touchdown.

2:23:17 > 2:23:21Hasselbeck continues to take shots standing in the pocket.

2:23:21 > 2:23:22Able to get the play action. Look.

2:23:22 > 2:23:25Play action pass, pushing it up the field.

2:23:25 > 2:23:27Trying to get the defence confused with that play action,

2:23:27 > 2:23:30getting the three receivers to the right.

2:23:30 > 2:23:31Great play call.

2:23:35 > 2:23:38Ryan to throw on 2nd down at the goal line.

2:23:38 > 2:23:41Looking for the end zone. Hankerson, touchdown.

2:23:45 > 2:23:48Matt Ryan is six out of seven on the drive.

2:23:48 > 2:23:49Matt Ryan having himself a good day

2:23:49 > 2:23:52throwing the football. 18 out of 26.

2:23:52 > 2:23:53That's his third touchdown pass

2:23:53 > 2:23:55of the afternoon.

2:23:57 > 2:23:58Hasselbeck to throw again.

2:23:58 > 2:24:01This one is good for the touchdown to Ahmad Bradshaw.

2:24:01 > 2:24:05Here he is in the back field. He's just going to wind to the flat.

2:24:05 > 2:24:08Matt takes his eyes up the field, looks inside.

2:24:08 > 2:24:12And Ahmad Bradshaw with his second touchdown catch of the day.

2:24:15 > 2:24:17On 1st down, Tevin Coleman running.

2:24:17 > 2:24:18Lost the football!

2:24:20 > 2:24:22Pile up at the 21-yard line. Who's got it?

2:24:24 > 2:24:26The Colts say they do, and so do the officials.

2:24:26 > 2:24:30Tevin Coleman got it popped out by Erik Walden,

2:24:30 > 2:24:32who has had a heck of a game today.

2:24:32 > 2:24:35That's how the third quarter comes to an end.

2:24:37 > 2:24:39Stacking that line of scrimmage with defenders.

2:24:39 > 2:24:41Only one safety in the middle of the field.

2:24:41 > 2:24:44Looks like they're going man across the board.

2:24:44 > 2:24:45Hasselbeck throwing.

2:24:45 > 2:24:48Intercepted! At about the two-yard line.

2:24:48 > 2:24:53Picked off and back to about the 15 by Ricardo Allen.

2:24:55 > 2:24:57Ryan.

2:24:57 > 2:24:59Intercepted! Picked off at the five.

2:24:59 > 2:25:01Touchdown to D'Qwell Jackson.

2:25:06 > 2:25:08On 2nd & 10.

2:25:08 > 2:25:11Hasselbeck. Little short pop to Gore. Gore with some running room.

2:25:11 > 2:25:14Gore! 40. 45. Midfield.

2:25:14 > 2:25:17Justin Durant finally dragged him down.

2:25:20 > 2:25:22Hasselbeck. Quick slant, 1st down.

2:25:22 > 2:25:26Donte Moncrief inside the 35 to the 31.

2:25:28 > 2:25:29For Vinatieri and the lead.

2:25:34 > 2:25:37The Colts grab their first lead of the day

2:25:37 > 2:25:40with 52 seconds to play in the fourth quarter.

2:25:40 > 2:25:422nd & 6.

2:25:42 > 2:25:44Falcons out of time outs.

2:25:44 > 2:25:45Matt Ryan.

2:25:45 > 2:25:48Going to throw it downfield. It is caught!

2:25:48 > 2:25:50My goodness. Julio Jones.

2:25:50 > 2:25:54No, incomplete. But what an effort by number 11!

2:25:54 > 2:25:57Julio Jones actually has the ball and he controls it,

2:25:57 > 2:25:58but he doesn't finish it.

2:25:58 > 2:26:00He gets to the ground and it's knocked loose

2:26:00 > 2:26:02once he gets to the ground.

2:26:02 > 2:26:04Give credit to the Colts' defenders there.

2:26:04 > 2:26:06They just continue battling.

2:26:11 > 2:26:13Ryan...with only a two-man rush.

2:26:14 > 2:26:18Looking and throwing it deep.

2:26:18 > 2:26:21It's going to come down short of the end zone.

2:26:21 > 2:26:24Intercepted by Coby Fleener.

2:26:24 > 2:26:26And with that, the Indianapolis Colts

2:26:26 > 2:26:30come on to the road and win themselves a big one.

2:26:30 > 2:26:31I hadn't played in a long time.

2:26:31 > 2:26:34It's a lot of pressure just knowing that these guys are expecting

2:26:34 > 2:26:36you to play like Andrew Luck plays when he's out there.

2:26:36 > 2:26:39Those are big shoes to fill, he's a great player.

2:26:39 > 2:26:41So I'm just working my hardest, trying the best I can.

2:26:41 > 2:26:44I'm just glad we're coming out with wins.

2:26:44 > 2:26:45Do you think it's harder or easier

2:26:45 > 2:26:48when you're an experienced quarterback like Hasselbeck

2:26:48 > 2:26:50to go into someone else's offence?

2:26:50 > 2:26:51I think it's easier.

2:26:51 > 2:26:53He has the experience, he's seen a lot of offences

2:26:53 > 2:26:55throughout his career, and he knows how to prepare.

2:26:55 > 2:26:56That's what a vet does.

2:26:56 > 2:26:58So he's just being polite to Andrew Luck?

2:26:58 > 2:27:00Yeah. Yeah.

2:27:00 > 2:27:02It's Andrew Luck's team

2:27:02 > 2:27:04and he knows he's just here to carry it until he gets back.

2:27:04 > 2:27:08The Falcons have gone from 5-0 to now 6-4.

2:27:08 > 2:27:09Is this the first big test

2:27:09 > 2:27:12of Dan Quinn's head coaching career?

2:27:12 > 2:27:14- This is his first season as a head coach.- I think so.

2:27:14 > 2:27:16I think so, but more importantly...

2:27:16 > 2:27:18You know, I love the Atlanta Falcons,

2:27:18 > 2:27:20but I can't say I'm disappointed that they're losing.

2:27:20 > 2:27:22I'm a little happy about that, Mark.

2:27:22 > 2:27:24- Eh? How does that work? - I'll tell you.

2:27:24 > 2:27:26When I was playing with the New York Giants,

2:27:26 > 2:27:29the Atlanta Falcons were one of the best teams in the league.

2:27:29 > 2:27:31I leave New York and I go to the Atlanta Falcons,

2:27:31 > 2:27:33and they become one of the worst teams in the league.

2:27:33 > 2:27:34LAUGHTER

2:27:34 > 2:27:37Then I leave Atlanta and all of a sudden they're undefeated.

2:27:37 > 2:27:39I'm like, "Man, is this me? Is it something I did?"

2:27:39 > 2:27:41To see them losing a couple of games here,

2:27:41 > 2:27:43I feel a little bit better about myself.

2:27:43 > 2:27:45But I want them to get back on the winning track, though,

2:27:45 > 2:27:47cos I do like the Atlanta Falcons.

2:27:47 > 2:27:50- I learn more about Osi's logic by the week...- Can't take him anywhere.

2:27:50 > 2:27:52Thank goodness you're serious.

2:27:52 > 2:27:55Time now to catch up with other teams who are featuring

2:27:55 > 2:27:57in the race to Super Bowl 50,

2:27:57 > 2:27:59starting with two clubs going head-to-head

2:27:59 > 2:28:01for the lead of the NFC North.

2:28:03 > 2:28:05The Green Bay Packers visited Minnesota

2:28:05 > 2:28:06having lost three in a row,

2:28:06 > 2:28:09surrendering the lead of the NFC North to their rivals,

2:28:09 > 2:28:11who themselves were in a seven-game win streak.

2:28:11 > 2:28:13It looked like that streak would continue

2:28:13 > 2:28:17when the home side got first touchdown through Kyle Rudolph.

2:28:17 > 2:28:21However, just before half-time, Aaron Rodgers found his range.

2:28:21 > 2:28:23Touchdown, Randall Cobb!

2:28:23 > 2:28:26Adrian Peterson, who on the whole was very well-contained

2:28:26 > 2:28:27by the Green Bay defence,

2:28:27 > 2:28:29did sneak through for a touchdown.

2:28:29 > 2:28:32But any hopes of a Minnesota comeback were dashed

2:28:32 > 2:28:35by James Jones' 27-yard score.

2:28:35 > 2:28:37Both teams now have 7-3 records.

2:28:37 > 2:28:39Green Bay back on top of the north division

2:28:39 > 2:28:41on the head-to-head tie-breaker.

2:28:44 > 2:28:47Elsewhere in the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles,

2:28:47 > 2:28:50without injured quarterback Sam Bradford,

2:28:50 > 2:28:53again failed to take the lead in the eastern division.

2:28:53 > 2:28:56The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback Jameis Winston

2:28:56 > 2:29:00matched Carolina's Cam Newton by throwing five touchdown passes

2:29:00 > 2:29:04to five different receivers, and equalled a rookie record.

2:29:04 > 2:29:06Touchdown, Russell Shepard.

2:29:06 > 2:29:09Tampa Bay completely dominated Philadelphia

2:29:09 > 2:29:13and, with a 5-5 record, hoisted themselves into the race

2:29:13 > 2:29:15for an NFC wild card berth.

2:29:15 > 2:29:17Touchdown.

2:29:19 > 2:29:22The Dallas Cowboys welcomed quarterback Tony Romo

2:29:22 > 2:29:26back from injury as they travelled to...sunny Miami?

2:29:26 > 2:29:29With Romo, they won their first two games.

2:29:29 > 2:29:32Without him, they had lost their next seven.

2:29:32 > 2:29:35He added to his glowing reputation by finding Terrance Williams

2:29:35 > 2:29:39with a 31-yard pass for a 14-0 half-time lead.

2:29:39 > 2:29:40He's got it!

2:29:40 > 2:29:43Miami fought back bravely to level the scores.

2:29:43 > 2:29:45But any hopes they had of victory disappeared

2:29:45 > 2:29:48with this score at the top of the fourth quarter.

2:29:48 > 2:29:51Romo lofting it. Bryant! Touchdown.

2:29:51 > 2:29:53They may have only won three games this season,

2:29:53 > 2:29:56but the Dallas Cowboys now sit just two victories

2:29:56 > 2:30:00behind the New York Giants for a share of the division lead.

2:30:02 > 2:30:04And on the Pacific Coast,

2:30:04 > 2:30:06the Seattle Seahawks retained

2:30:06 > 2:30:09a glimmer of hope in the wild card hunt.

2:30:09 > 2:30:12Tyler Lockett and Thomas Rawls both scored two touchdowns

2:30:12 > 2:30:17as they breezed past divisional rivals San Francisco.

2:30:20 > 2:30:22Touchdown Seattle!

2:30:27 > 2:30:29So Green Bay back in form

2:30:29 > 2:30:31and yet rather than tactics or great performances,

2:30:31 > 2:30:35social media was dominated by James Jones wearing a hoodie.

2:30:35 > 2:30:37Apparently this is the first time this has ever been seen

2:30:37 > 2:30:39in an NFL game.

2:30:40 > 2:30:43He says he's got Cali Swag, but I don't know.

2:30:43 > 2:30:45I mean... He looks like we used to practise.

2:30:45 > 2:30:47I mean, we would practise with the long sleeves

2:30:47 > 2:30:49and things of that nature, but never in a game.

2:30:49 > 2:30:52He said he wore it in practice and it felt comfortable,

2:30:52 > 2:30:53It was a bit cold so that's why he wore it.

2:30:53 > 2:30:55If you were defending against him,

2:30:55 > 2:30:57you'd try and pull that back, wouldn't you?

2:30:57 > 2:30:58You cannot respect a man

2:30:58 > 2:31:00who goes out there on the football field...

2:31:00 > 2:31:01You know, he looked ridiculous, man.

2:31:01 > 2:31:03He looked like you in the Kansas City getup

2:31:03 > 2:31:05- that you had on, man. - Moving on from that.

2:31:05 > 2:31:08At least he was warm, that's the most important thing.

2:31:08 > 2:31:10Are Cowboys a completely different proposition

2:31:10 > 2:31:12- with Tony Romo back? - Yes. Yes.

2:31:12 > 2:31:14He definitely makes that team tick,

2:31:14 > 2:31:16and they seem more confident with him in there.

2:31:16 > 2:31:18Without him in there, it was like the guys...

2:31:18 > 2:31:19they just didn't believe in the guy

2:31:19 > 2:31:21at the position, at the QB position.

2:31:21 > 2:31:23They're playing better, they need him.

2:31:23 > 2:31:24They still, ridiculous as it sounds,

2:31:24 > 2:31:26have a chance in that division.

2:31:26 > 2:31:28They don't really have a chance, but, you know...

2:31:28 > 2:31:30That's again because you have an agenda,

2:31:30 > 2:31:32and that's because the Giants are in that division.

2:31:32 > 2:31:35On to our third match, where the AFC Western Division leaders,

2:31:35 > 2:31:37the Denver Broncos, were looking at a trip

2:31:37 > 2:31:41to one of THE most iconic of NFL stadia -

2:31:41 > 2:31:43Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears.

2:31:46 > 2:31:49He may have become the NFL's most prolific passer last time out,

2:31:49 > 2:31:53but quarterback Peyton Manning was forced to remain in Denver on Sunday

2:31:53 > 2:31:56with foot, ribs and shoulder injuries.

2:31:56 > 2:31:58Celebrating his 25th birthday,

2:31:58 > 2:32:01Brock Osweiler stepped up to lead the Denver Broncos

2:32:01 > 2:32:03to take on the Chicago Bears,

2:32:03 > 2:32:05a team now coached by John Fox,

2:32:05 > 2:32:08who spent the last four seasons in Denver,

2:32:08 > 2:32:10leading them to Super Bowl 48.

2:32:10 > 2:32:13Chicago were looking to add to their two-game win streak,

2:32:13 > 2:32:16Denver attempting to break a two-game losing skid.

2:32:23 > 2:32:25We have so many things at stake here.

2:32:25 > 2:32:27Denver as an organisation trying to figure out

2:32:27 > 2:32:29whether or not Osweiler is the future

2:32:29 > 2:32:32and if they're going to invest big money in him.

2:32:32 > 2:32:35Osweiler individually trying to prove to everybody around the league

2:32:35 > 2:32:38that he can be a starting quarterback at this level.

2:32:38 > 2:32:41Yeah, everything is an audition at this point.

2:32:41 > 2:32:43Line of scrimmage is the 49.

2:32:43 > 2:32:48Stepping up. Osweiler. Wide open, Demaryius Thomas - nobody near him.

2:32:48 > 2:32:51Thomas remains upright down the sideline,

2:32:51 > 2:32:53looking for the angle.

2:32:53 > 2:32:57Thomas takes it all the way. Touchdown, Broncos.

2:32:57 > 2:33:01But how wide open can a guy get here? Good pass protection.

2:33:01 > 2:33:03Now the run after the catch.

2:33:03 > 2:33:07Here's the missed tackle there, now the speed of Thomas

2:33:07 > 2:33:11tight-roping the chalk down and getting in for the touchdown.

2:33:11 > 2:33:14Happy birthday, Brock Osweiler,

2:33:14 > 2:33:18because that was a gift from his wide receiver doing the work.

2:33:21 > 2:33:24The Bears kicked two field goals in the second quarter from Robbie Gould,

2:33:24 > 2:33:28while the Broncos struck back with a 24-yard field goal

2:33:28 > 2:33:32from Brandon McManus to give them a 10-6 lead going into half-time.

2:33:40 > 2:33:42Here's Cutler with the throw.

2:33:42 > 2:33:44Over the middle. It's intercepted!

2:33:44 > 2:33:45Danny Trevathan!

2:33:47 > 2:33:48Brought down.

2:33:48 > 2:33:51Just the sixth interception of the season for Cutler,

2:33:51 > 2:33:53who has limited the mistakes.

2:33:53 > 2:33:56That's a big one there on a 15-yard return.

2:33:56 > 2:34:01Trevathan way deep in the secondary, cuts underneath Wilson,

2:34:01 > 2:34:02comes up with this pick.

2:34:02 > 2:34:05First mistake of the ball game for either team.

2:34:05 > 2:34:09First takeaway since week 6, a victory at Cleveland,

2:34:09 > 2:34:11for this Denver D.

2:34:13 > 2:34:17So it's Ferentz now shifting out of the fullback slot.

2:34:17 > 2:34:18On 4th & 1.

2:34:21 > 2:34:25The running play coming up short. Ronnie Hillman on the stumble.

2:34:27 > 2:34:30If he doesn't stumble, I believe he's going to score easily.

2:34:30 > 2:34:33Maybe it's Osweiler who trips him here.

2:34:33 > 2:34:36Yeah, he pushes his right foot into his left foot

2:34:36 > 2:34:39as he goes by on the hand-off.

2:34:39 > 2:34:41He's 6'8, Osweiler.

2:34:41 > 2:34:43He's got some big dogs under that 6'8, too.

2:34:43 > 2:34:46That may have just cost them, and it did. Big time.

2:34:48 > 2:34:51Following the 4th down failure, Chicago drove down the field

2:34:51 > 2:34:55and Gould hit a 47-yard field goal to cut Denver's lead to just one point.

2:35:02 > 2:35:072nd & 4. Take the hand-off. Toss it to a wide-open Daniels.

2:35:07 > 2:35:09Oh, and Daniels has a 1st down for Denver.

2:35:11 > 2:35:14Brock Osweiler said I've got a ton of time to sit back

2:35:14 > 2:35:17and watch not just Peyton Manning but other quarterbacks.

2:35:17 > 2:35:20I feel like I understand why they make certain decisions,

2:35:20 > 2:35:21avoid turnovers, make good decisions.

2:35:21 > 2:35:24That was a good one.

2:35:24 > 2:35:283rd & 8. Osweiler. Offence ball to the end zone! Touchdown, Broncos.

2:35:28 > 2:35:31Cody Latimer.

2:35:33 > 2:35:35First NFL touchdown catch for Latimer.

2:35:35 > 2:35:37He had no choice but to catch that one.

2:35:37 > 2:35:39That would have gone right through his chest!

2:35:39 > 2:35:42Still a one possession game. 17-9, Denver.

2:35:42 > 2:35:46So Fox is rolling the dice on a 4th & goal inside the 5.

2:35:49 > 2:35:52Cutler backpedals. Steps up. Cutler...

2:35:52 > 2:35:56Upstairs! Knocked away, it's incomplete.

2:35:56 > 2:35:59The Bears come up empty on 4th down.

2:35:59 > 2:36:01This is a 3rd & 1 for Denver.

2:36:03 > 2:36:04Anderson up the gut.

2:36:04 > 2:36:07Anderson...tries to keep the legs moving.

2:36:08 > 2:36:10- He didn't get enough. - Anderson comes up short.

2:36:12 > 2:36:16It sets up Chicago with a 1st & 10 inside the Denver 35.

2:36:17 > 2:36:21Cutler, it was slapped away and picked off.

2:36:21 > 2:36:25Miller gets a piece and Malik Jackson is there.

2:36:25 > 2:36:28The Bears turn it over with 2.23 remaining.

2:36:28 > 2:36:33Von Miller finally shows up with a strip-sack - a huge play for Denver.

2:36:33 > 2:36:35The number one defence delivers.

2:36:42 > 2:36:45- Going down, Osweiler. - I don't know about taking that sack.

2:36:45 > 2:36:48That's about an eight-yard sack.

2:36:48 > 2:36:51Every yard is so critical at this point of the ball game.

2:36:52 > 2:36:54Jay Cutler has thrown two picks in the second half.

2:36:54 > 2:36:56Remember - down by eight,

2:36:56 > 2:36:59they need the touch and the two-pointer afterwards.

2:37:02 > 2:37:061st down, Cutler. Steps up. Cutler gets rid of it.

2:37:08 > 2:37:10Downfield, Cutler connects with Zach Miller.

2:37:10 > 2:37:13Into Denver territory and a 20-yard pass play.

2:37:13 > 2:37:15An offensive lineman at fullback.

2:37:17 > 2:37:19Trailing by eight. Hand-off...

2:37:21 > 2:37:23Langford! Touchdown, Bears.

2:37:24 > 2:37:26Jeremy Langford ploughs in.

2:37:26 > 2:37:31They are two points away from tying this one up late in the fourth.

2:37:31 > 2:37:36Here's the two-point try for Chicago. 17-15, Broncos.

2:37:36 > 2:37:38Langford in the back field.

2:37:44 > 2:37:48Going against the best defence this year, statistically, in the NFL.

2:37:48 > 2:37:49Langford...DENIED!

2:37:50 > 2:37:53The Broncos with the stop.

2:37:53 > 2:37:57T J Ward from the safety spot, totally unblocked,

2:37:57 > 2:37:59dove at the legs of Langford,

2:37:59 > 2:38:02and Langford never had a shot.

2:38:02 > 2:38:09With 24 seconds left, Denver holding on to a 17-15 lead.

2:38:11 > 2:38:12Well, you know,

2:38:12 > 2:38:16the list of things that I've learned behind Peyton is endless.

2:38:16 > 2:38:18You know, I've learned not only how to be

2:38:18 > 2:38:22a professional off the field, but on the field, in the locker room.

2:38:22 > 2:38:25You know, I've learned so much about situational football -

2:38:25 > 2:38:281st down, 2nd down, 3rd down, what your thoughts are on the road,

2:38:28 > 2:38:30what your thoughts are on your first drive,

2:38:30 > 2:38:32your last drive, four minute.

2:38:32 > 2:38:36I have not wasted a single day sitting behind Peyton.

2:38:36 > 2:38:40I fully recognise that he might be the greatest quarterback

2:38:40 > 2:38:43to ever play, if not one of the greatest.

2:38:43 > 2:38:45I know, Jason, you wanted to say something

2:38:45 > 2:38:47about Osweiler to Latimer for that touchdown.

2:38:47 > 2:38:51Yeah. People don't understand rhythm in the passing game.

2:38:51 > 2:38:54When you've got guys that were on the practice squad together,

2:38:54 > 2:38:56they're the look squad for the defence,

2:38:56 > 2:38:59they're getting used to each other every day.

2:38:59 > 2:39:02So when he gets pulled up off the practice squad to play,

2:39:02 > 2:39:04that's the one guy he has rhythm with.

2:39:04 > 2:39:07Nobody might not know him, but that's the one guy he knows.

2:39:07 > 2:39:08You could see it in his eyes, couldn't you?

2:39:08 > 2:39:10You could see - he looked at him the whole play.

2:39:10 > 2:39:13He's like, "I know what this guy does coming out of his breaks,

2:39:13 > 2:39:14"I know he sees what I see."

2:39:14 > 2:39:16Most quarterbacks, when they talk after a game

2:39:16 > 2:39:18are very, very impressive.

2:39:18 > 2:39:21He was no different, actually.

2:39:21 > 2:39:23That was one of the more impressive things

2:39:23 > 2:39:24that I saw that day.

2:39:24 > 2:39:26I mean, that is a good-looking guy.

2:39:26 > 2:39:29I mean, he is well put together, he speaks well,

2:39:29 > 2:39:31he's very eloquent with his words.

2:39:31 > 2:39:32If I'm a general manager,

2:39:32 > 2:39:35I want my quarterback to look just like that.

2:39:35 > 2:39:38- And he's learning from Peyton. - Yeah, yeah. That's incredible.

2:39:38 > 2:39:41Anybody that's been around Peyton or Eli Manning

2:39:41 > 2:39:43have seen a well-put-together individual

2:39:43 > 2:39:46that knows how to manage that position on and off the field.

2:39:46 > 2:39:50Right, our second round up features teams from the AFC

2:39:50 > 2:39:53and starts with Denver's divisional rivals.

2:39:55 > 2:39:57Things went from bad to worse

2:39:57 > 2:39:59for Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers

2:39:59 > 2:40:02as they went behind early to the Kansas City Chiefs.

2:40:02 > 2:40:05On the sidelines, Rivers and Antonio Gates then had words

2:40:05 > 2:40:08before the quarterback gifted Justin Houston

2:40:08 > 2:40:13with this 17-yard interception score early in the second half.

2:40:13 > 2:40:15And he's in for the pick six.

2:40:15 > 2:40:17Then Spencer Ware added insult to injury

2:40:17 > 2:40:20with two short touchdown runs

2:40:20 > 2:40:23as the Kansas City routed the hapless San Diego.

2:40:23 > 2:40:24With four straight wins,

2:40:24 > 2:40:28they now move into second place in the AFC West behind Denver,

2:40:28 > 2:40:31and put themselves squarely into wild card contention.

2:40:33 > 2:40:36DeAndre Hopkins set the home team on their way with

2:40:36 > 2:40:38a stunning 61-yard touchdown.

2:40:39 > 2:40:42Oh, he's got Hopkins, who has burned Revis.

2:40:42 > 2:40:44Alfred Blue caught a 21-yard touchdown pass

2:40:44 > 2:40:46from receiver Cecil Shorts,

2:40:46 > 2:40:48following a superbly worked play,

2:40:48 > 2:40:51quarterback T J Yates throwing a lateral pass.

2:40:51 > 2:40:54Then Hopkins scored again as the Houston Texans

2:40:54 > 2:40:57battled to win over the New York Jets.

2:40:57 > 2:41:01Now with a 5-5 record, Houston are tied with Indianapolis

2:41:01 > 2:41:06atop the AFC South, separated only by the head-to-head tie-breaker.

2:41:06 > 2:41:08These two teams meet again in week 15.

2:41:12 > 2:41:15A momentous week in the NFL thanks to Kansas City Chiefs,

2:41:15 > 2:41:19who now have the heaviest man to have ever scored a touchdown.

2:41:19 > 2:41:22- I don't know why I'm laughing. - You love this. You love this.

2:41:22 > 2:41:23I do love this.

2:41:23 > 2:41:27Dontari Poe, who, at 346 pounds, is 11 pounds heavier than

2:41:27 > 2:41:31the legendary Fridge was when he went over.

2:41:31 > 2:41:32That guy is framing that football.

2:41:32 > 2:41:35You see how he's got his dance ready? He knew he was scoring.

2:41:35 > 2:41:38Like, if I'm on goal line and I see that guy coming towards me,

2:41:38 > 2:41:41I'm getting out of the way. I'm conceding a touchdown.

2:41:41 > 2:41:44- They can score the touchdown. - Wait, from what I recall,

2:41:44 > 2:41:47- they took you out on goal line. - You're right. They did.

2:41:47 > 2:41:52Joking aside, is that unstoppable, when you are that size, one yard out?

2:41:52 > 2:41:53Absolutely no way you can stop a man

2:41:53 > 2:41:57who is 340-something pounds from getting in the end zone.

2:41:57 > 2:41:59- He's just got to lean forward. - That's all he's got to do.

2:41:59 > 2:42:01- He's got to lean forward. - Just lean forward and fall.

2:42:01 > 2:42:04And he's in. Right, if you want more NFL,

2:42:04 > 2:42:06then why not join Nat Coombs and Mike Carlson

2:42:06 > 2:42:09as they begin their regular Sunday night coverage?

2:42:09 > 2:42:12That's on 5Live Sports Xtra from 7.30.
