:00:28. > :00:35.She starts to power and get quickly into her running. Dina Asher-Smith

:00:36. > :00:45.now into her running. Dafne Schippers a long way back. Can Dina

:00:46. > :00:49.Asher-Smith hold on? It is Ta Lou and Dafne Schippers! It is Dafne

:00:50. > :00:59.Schippers, shippers ahead! Ahead of Ta Lou. Dina Asher-Smith four.

:01:00. > :01:06.STUDIO: Ta Lou Shirai in her heart out. She kept her pressure on Dafne

:01:07. > :01:11.Schippers, who backs up a gold medal from Beijing two years ago. Kalou

:01:12. > :01:16.has had a fantastic Championships. This is what you want from an

:01:17. > :01:21.athlete -- Maria-Josee Ta Lou. She produces her best in the finals. Her

:01:22. > :01:25.previous personal best was 22.16, which she ran earlier this year.

:01:26. > :01:29.That is what you want, an athlete that can get to the Championship in

:01:30. > :01:33.the final race and produce her best performance. It has to be said of

:01:34. > :01:36.Dina Asher-Smith, no personal best, which you wouldn't expect after what

:01:37. > :01:40.she's been through, but a seasons best by five tenths of a second,

:01:41. > :01:46.that's impressive, given what he's been through to come here and from a

:01:47. > :01:50.season's best. When we were over on BBC One and you were doing the

:01:51. > :01:54.analysis, you showed us how important it is, the pressure that

:01:55. > :01:58.she gets off the blocks, Dina Asher-Smith, and the start that she

:01:59. > :02:03.had. It is the pressure she is able to put back against the forces she

:02:04. > :02:06.is able to generate on the track, because of her small that she is

:02:07. > :02:07.powerful and able to hold that position, it is what every spinner

:02:08. > :02:26.wants to be able to do, get out and then the drive says,

:02:27. > :02:29.continued to push those forces back against the track. Because she is so

:02:30. > :02:32.short, she is able to do it a lot longer. With a few more weeks

:02:33. > :02:34.training, who knows what kind of shape Dina Asher-Smith would have

:02:35. > :02:37.run herself into. She would have run herself onto the podium! But she has

:02:38. > :02:39.been working on her strengths. She said that was one of the elements

:02:40. > :02:41.that was important in her development for the next couple of

:02:42. > :02:48.years. She's just a natural powerhouse. It will come, it's great

:02:49. > :02:53.to see her back. It's just staggering how she's done it. I

:02:54. > :02:56.think her mental strength is what is so impressive. She doesn't get

:02:57. > :03:00.involved in the hype, you know. A lot of people would have panicked,

:03:01. > :03:04.being in the situation she is found as often. But she has kept

:03:05. > :03:08.level-headed, focused on the destination of, yes, I want to be at

:03:09. > :03:15.my home World Championships. And she did it. The gold again to Dafne

:03:16. > :03:18.Schippers. At 9am this morning, Daley, we talked about the

:03:19. > :03:23.multi-eventers. Denise backed it up with the stats. How many women are

:03:24. > :03:28.competing in the Championships who are previous multi-event is? 28!

:03:29. > :03:32.Dafne Schippers is one of those. Less of the decathletes, but about

:03:33. > :03:35.ten of them. She is probably the most high profile and certainly the

:03:36. > :03:39.most successful since she has moved to the individual events. I'm sure

:03:40. > :03:42.that the years of training across seven different events will not have

:03:43. > :03:54.harmed the strength that she has had.

:03:55. > :03:57.Not only that, it builds up your all-round strength, all of your

:03:58. > :04:00.muscles and stuff. You don't get injured quite enough, so you can

:04:01. > :04:02.train a bit more. It all helps. She has shown for the last couple of

:04:03. > :04:04.World Championships, becoming a world champion, she's in brilliant

:04:05. > :04:07.shape. Could she get much faster? Her personal best is 21.63, you

:04:08. > :04:14.know, she's got to get back there first. That is the third fastest of

:04:15. > :04:18.all time behind the athlete in 1988 and Marion Jones. That is a tall

:04:19. > :04:22.order. What she would probably want to do and her objective from here is

:04:23. > :04:27.to improve in her 100m, because I think there is a lot of room for

:04:28. > :04:33.improvement there. Let's look at the medal table and see how that is

:04:34. > :04:37.affected by tonight's events. Well, those two gold medals for the United

:04:38. > :04:43.States of America, Emma Coburn, it pulls them even further away from

:04:44. > :04:47.Kenya in terms of their total. Poland now, with Fajdek's gold in

:04:48. > :04:50.the hammer, that moves them into third place. South Africa down in

:04:51. > :04:58.force now. They were in third. Wait Britain still with that gold from Mo

:04:59. > :05:01.Farah one week ago last Friday. Of course, well done malevolence on

:05:02. > :05:09.their gold medal tonight from Dafne Schippers. , twitter Daphne,

:05:10. > :05:14.congratulations, another gold medal and a World Title for you. How

:05:15. > :05:18.special is this one? Very special. I fought for it and worked very, very

:05:19. > :05:24.hard. I chased everything, and I'm very happy. Ta Lou pushed you all

:05:25. > :05:29.the way. When did you realise you had the gold? On the finish line,

:05:30. > :05:33.because I had to dip. It was a bit difficult to see that I had a gold

:05:34. > :05:37.medal. After all the hard work you put in to get to this moment, there

:05:38. > :05:43.must be a sense and relief and joy all combined at once? It's true. It

:05:44. > :05:49.is so-called micro. Two times in a row, that's very special. What is it

:05:50. > :05:51.like when you were going round? There are so many Dutch fans

:05:52. > :05:55.supporting you here tonight, it seems like thousands came out. So,

:05:56. > :05:58.so-called micro, I didn't know. I was walking around and I saw the

:05:59. > :06:09.orange and everybody waving at me, it's great. Celebration time

:06:10. > :06:15.tonight? Tomorrow is the relay. Oh! Enjoy what celebrations you can and

:06:16. > :06:19.congratulations. Thank you. STUDIO: Dina Asher-Smith has been

:06:20. > :06:22.working her way up through the mixed zone, speaking to the world's press

:06:23. > :06:30.and being congratulated. That really is an impressive four. -- four. We

:06:31. > :06:34.are getting a bit annoyed with saying forth as British athletics

:06:35. > :06:38.fans. Not because they are not great, but they deserve to be

:06:39. > :06:41.getting themselves on the podium, those young athletes. For Dina

:06:42. > :06:45.Asher-Smith, that is a magnificent score for what she has gone through

:06:46. > :06:53.this year. Michael, talk us through her race and Hirst art? It was

:06:54. > :06:57.impressive. -- Hoet start. When they came into it, when everybody came

:06:58. > :07:01.into it, if you look at Dina Asher-Smith there on the outside.

:07:02. > :07:04.She just got that fantastic start which I'm sure everybody in the race

:07:05. > :07:08.would have expected out of her. This is what they wouldn't have expected.

:07:09. > :07:12.They wouldn't have expected her to be able to hold onto that speed and

:07:13. > :07:15.maintain it for as long as she did, actually starting to close the gap

:07:16. > :07:27.at the end of the race on the race leaders and all of the three

:07:28. > :07:30.medallists. Let's might take a look again here. The first part of the

:07:31. > :07:32.race, we knew it was going to happen, but this is where she really

:07:33. > :07:35.impressed. These rounds are good fire. It allowed her to improve that

:07:36. > :07:38.speed and endurance. She is able to really get to a point here where she

:07:39. > :07:41.can open up, maintain strides and frequency. Open up the start little

:07:42. > :07:46.bit, used that upper body strength and try to catch those race leaders.

:07:47. > :07:50.Unfortunately not able to catch any of them. Another couple of that and

:07:51. > :07:54.she would have been able to catch Shaunae Miller we both are. That was

:07:55. > :07:58.a very impressive race again. When you come into a Championships, after

:07:59. > :08:02.watching has been through, and you run a season's Best Buy over five

:08:03. > :08:05.tenths of a second, that's impressive, you could ask for much

:08:06. > :08:11.more than that. Very impressive indeed -- a seasons best by over

:08:12. > :08:19.five tenths. Let's take a look at this race. Looking for Dafne

:08:20. > :08:25.Schippers, the race leader. Again, she is just so strong. She has got

:08:26. > :08:28.the strength and the power. She runs very efficiently. She comes off of

:08:29. > :08:33.here with the lead. We knew that Tully was going to be in there. This

:08:34. > :08:37.is why Dafne Schippers loses a lot of other people in the race -- we

:08:38. > :08:40.knew that Ta Lou. Even though she knows that she is under pressure,

:08:41. > :08:46.she doesn't change anything. She times the lead just white. -- just

:08:47. > :08:52.right. Shaunae Miller coming up as well. Shippers wouldn't have seen

:08:53. > :08:56.her, she sees Ta Lou but she doesn't taint anything. Now she takes the

:08:57. > :09:00.lead just right. You keep doing what you're doing. You see that she is at

:09:01. > :09:05.the end saying, OK, lean at the perfect time. That is what one might

:09:06. > :09:09.her that race, and that was impressive. Now, a two-time 200m

:09:10. > :09:13.while champion. Let's may take a look at dealer again here. We can

:09:14. > :09:18.get a bit of analysis of her race. We knew she was going to get a

:09:19. > :09:23.fantastic dart. Already made up with Kimberlyn Duncan on the outside, the

:09:24. > :09:26.USA. Blazing round the corner. Watch the transition on the inside of the

:09:27. > :09:30.Ring, now she goes to the outside of the rain, it makes the turn a bit

:09:31. > :09:34.more dental and it makes you faster -- of the lane. It is impressive,

:09:35. > :09:38.now closing the gap on the race leaders and almost getting that

:09:39. > :09:42.medal. Nice and relaxed here, not adding to stress anything. Just

:09:43. > :09:46.maintaining the speed. She sees that I'm getting closer and closer to the

:09:47. > :09:50.race leaders. I can't rush it, I can't do anything else other than

:09:51. > :09:54.what I'm doing now. Keep and maintain perfect for all the way to

:09:55. > :09:59.the finish line and time the lead. Very impressive. -- perfect form. Of

:10:00. > :10:02.course it adds to Great Britain is list of glorious fourth. And it is

:10:03. > :10:14.five now. All young athletes, all with so much

:10:15. > :10:17.potential and so much future in this sport. But that was a really

:10:18. > :10:22.impressive race from Dina Asher-Smith after the year that she

:10:23. > :10:25.has been through. Thanks so much to Daley and Denise. See you in the

:10:26. > :10:30.morning bright and early, Daley and the Nice. Thank you, Michael, as

:10:31. > :10:34.well. Another great evening here at the London Stadium. We'll be back

:10:35. > :10:38.here on BBC One at 9:30am tomorrow morning. I will leave you in the

:10:39. > :10:45.very capable hands of Ore Oduba with the crowds, no doubt. Good evening,

:10:46. > :10:49.Gaby, thank you very much. Oh, the crowd is here behind as! They know

:10:50. > :10:52.that we're on telly, they are very responsible, this crowd. It was this

:10:53. > :10:57.time last week that it all kicked off. Usain Bolt was like individual

:10:58. > :11:01.round, Great Britain's only gold and only medal so far. All of the fourth

:11:02. > :11:06.places, including a very agonising Dina Asher-Smith fourth-place. But

:11:07. > :11:11.what would they ate bring us? A moment ago, it gave us a drizzle.

:11:12. > :11:16.Just now it gave us a chance. Also it gave us Colin Jackson, back by

:11:17. > :11:22.popular demand. Good to see the two of you. We have got the Mintel of

:11:23. > :11:26.family as well! They have grown, everyone! The Colin Jackson fans are

:11:27. > :11:34.also there. Few of them! Have you guys had a good they? Yes! A very

:11:35. > :11:37.long day. I have had an exciting day. Once again, Colin Jackson had

:11:38. > :11:43.to sprint from the commentary box to get himself here. And we have had

:11:44. > :11:46.rain. It is slippery when wet. This guy, health and safety committee

:11:47. > :11:50.doesn't care, this guy! Let's kick-off with the action and go

:11:51. > :11:54.straight to the 800m. We had three British athletes in the women's race

:11:55. > :11:55.going for a place in the final. Surely one of them would get it into

:11:56. > :12:08.Sunday's final, surely? , COMMENTATOR: Still looking nice and

:12:09. > :12:12.comfortable behind Ajee Wilson. Adelle Tracey has got to fight in

:12:13. > :12:20.here. Wilson, look at how composed by American is. Bishop similarly so,

:12:21. > :12:25.the Canadian. These two easing away. Adelle Tracey is on the inside.

:12:26. > :12:31.Wilson almost cruising through here. Bishop trying to follow her through.

:12:32. > :12:33.Top two into the final. In the end it was 159 21. -- one 5921. --

:12:34. > :12:45.1:59.20 one. They went through the bell at 57.80

:12:46. > :12:49.two. This one was a bit slower. Lipsey staying sharp and in a good

:12:50. > :12:59.position. Semenya around the outside. At Lipsey is still leading

:13:00. > :13:03.them out. Working hard. She is blocking Lynsey Sharp at the moment.

:13:04. > :13:09.Lindsay trying to hold her from that Ben Butcher wasn't able to do it.

:13:10. > :13:14.Lynsey Sharp finds herself -- round that bend but she wasn't able to do

:13:15. > :13:19.it. She needs to react and get out behind Caster Semenya. A bit of

:13:20. > :13:25.trouble for Lynsey Sharp. A fast semifinal. Semenya, comfortable.

:13:26. > :13:29.Lipsey has done all of the dragging. It is Semenya and Lipsey. And Lynsey

:13:30. > :13:34.Sharp, this is where she starts to begin. Just ran to the shoulder of

:13:35. > :13:38.Lipsey, but the American response. The Polish athlete is coming

:13:39. > :13:45.through. Semenya to the line. Lipsey in second. Got out of it! She is

:13:46. > :13:54.going to take second from Lipsey. Semenya the winner at 1:58.19. Two

:13:55. > :14:00.medals, silver and bronze last year at the big game. On the outside,

:14:01. > :14:06.finishing in poll. Wembley is squeezing out... -- Wambui. Martinez

:14:07. > :14:14.is trying to squeeze through on the outside. She is timing her season to

:14:15. > :14:19.perfection. They change gear. Wambui, the perfect place to strike.

:14:20. > :14:24.Clarke has got someone to do. She's got to get past one of the Olympic

:14:25. > :14:28.medallists at the very least. She is on the outside. Wambui starting to

:14:29. > :14:33.pull away. Trying to strike on the inside. Could we be in for a shock?

:14:34. > :14:37.With one of the big boss might not get through? It is going to be very

:14:38. > :14:43.tart on the line. -- it is going to be retired on the line. Something to

:14:44. > :14:47.clear up from the semifinals of the women's 800m. This was the result of

:14:48. > :14:52.the women second semifinal. Lipsey going through. In real terms, Lynsey

:14:53. > :14:56.Sharp finished fourth, but then she was disqualified. There was just an

:14:57. > :15:02.interlocking of arms. There we go. Lynsey Sharp, dubbed the slightest

:15:03. > :15:06.interlocking of arms. That was ruled to be impeding Charlene Lipsey's

:15:07. > :15:10.progress. The question is, again, I'm sure there will be an appeal,

:15:11. > :15:15.but since Lipsey goes through ultimately anyway, has she impeded

:15:16. > :15:19.her progress? Lynsey Sharp would have gone through with that time is

:15:20. > :15:23.one of the fastest losers. Anyway, afterwards Lynsey Sharp gave her

:15:24. > :15:28.thoughts to fill. As far as I'm concerned, I can't remember anything

:15:29. > :15:31.that was different to any other race that I've been in. I can't remember

:15:32. > :15:36.doing anything. There are races throughout the season where I've

:15:37. > :15:40.been affected worse than I think I will affected anyone in that race.

:15:41. > :15:43.You would have made it as one of the two fastest losers. Can you go and

:15:44. > :15:47.counter protest, maybe? I will definitely go back and look at it

:15:48. > :15:51.with British athletics. I honestly can't remember anything. I've been

:15:52. > :15:54.in a lot of scrappy races this year, I would put my hands up and say that

:15:55. > :15:56.I did something, but I can't even remember where it would have been. I

:15:57. > :16:04.don't remember anything. Lynsey Sharp obviously devastated

:16:05. > :16:09.after that race. As it stood, no British athletes would go through to

:16:10. > :16:13.the 800 metres final on Sunday. However, in the last half an hour,

:16:14. > :16:17.Lynsey Sharp was reinstated and put through to the final with nothing

:16:18. > :16:20.more than a slap on the wrist. I don't know - obviously she's

:16:21. > :16:26.devastated about that initial result, but the lesson is, don't

:16:27. > :16:30.link arms with your opponents. I think in fairness she was lunging

:16:31. > :16:36.forward with the shoulder there. She interlocks with arms and pushes the

:16:37. > :16:41.American across the line. I think it is very supportive. As demonstrated

:16:42. > :16:47.here. Have you ever seen anything like that? Not in 800 metres in that

:16:48. > :16:51.circumstance. If we See people impeding it happens in front or when

:16:52. > :16:56.you are cutting across. Especially that crucial moment, where to me, I

:16:57. > :16:59.don't know about to you, it seems obvious shi shoves the American

:17:00. > :17:04.further in front of her. I don't understand why they say that is

:17:05. > :17:09.impeding the athlete. She's driving her shoulders forward. You think it

:17:10. > :17:10.with us the right result? Is anything going to beat Caster

:17:11. > :17:21.Semenya? I would say, no. She's got to be

:17:22. > :17:25.running high off that 1500 metres. I don't know if she expected to get a

:17:26. > :17:31.bronze. This is now her favourite distance and, if I am honest, when I

:17:32. > :17:39.have seen her on the sir it is she's run it anyway she's wanted to.

:17:40. > :17:45.Speaking of the 1500 metre, the women's semi-finals got under way

:17:46. > :17:48.today as well, featuring Chris O'Hare and Jake Wightman. Here is

:17:49. > :17:55.what happened earlier tonight. Wightman is on the outside... Frees

:17:56. > :18:00.himself from all the trouble and goes a surge and a rise in the noise

:18:01. > :18:05.of the crowd. The Moroccan, Wightman in a good position at the moment.

:18:06. > :18:13.Blocked on the inside. The jostling starts and the elbows start to fly.

:18:14. > :18:20.. Wightman is in a good place there. He S now moving like a sprinter down

:18:21. > :18:31.the back straight. A few strides took him...

:18:32. > :18:38.More freedom and besides him you have Ajok.

:18:39. > :18:42.Wightman looking to finish strongly. Wightman is struggle and the group

:18:43. > :18:52.leaves him. Wightman is not going to make it.

:18:53. > :19:00.Chris O'Hare is his shadow at the moment.

:19:01. > :19:05.Willis, O'Hare. So the top seven at this pace will

:19:06. > :19:08.go through. Let's hope that Chris O'Hare can

:19:09. > :19:12.work in the back straight and give himself a good run at the finish.

:19:13. > :19:15.They are coming at it both sides. They have to hold that position.

:19:16. > :19:22.Lewandowski working hard to be able to strike. His 800-metre pace will

:19:23. > :19:27.tell here. Chris is in a good spot. He's not panicking. He's smart about

:19:28. > :19:33.knowing where he needs to B top seven. Look at this from Chris

:19:34. > :19:41.O'Hare. Lewandowski eases him out. Cheruiyot, Willis... Fast finishers

:19:42. > :19:44.on the outside. These are your top five.

:19:45. > :19:52.Willis under pressure. Chris O'Hare into the final.

:19:53. > :20:01.A steely run by Chris O'Hare, Toni. Yes. I will hand this one - I will

:20:02. > :20:08.hand it to Colin. Yeah, absolutely. I would be honest,

:20:09. > :20:13.between me and you and the lads here, there is a sneaky bet going

:20:14. > :20:19.that this event could see Norway getting their second gold medal.

:20:20. > :20:25.And Colin has got the inside track. OK. Thank you very much, Colin. You

:20:26. > :20:31.can tune into that 8. 30pm on Sunday night. On to the women's long jump

:20:32. > :20:34.because going into tonight there was a potential medal home with Lorraine

:20:35. > :20:41.Ugen. She qualified third. However, there was a story to be written by

:20:42. > :20:46.the American, Brittney Reese tonight and she wasn't go away without

:20:47. > :20:51.getting a fourth outside title. Great speed there. Great lift.

:20:52. > :20:56.Reaching out with the feet - fantastic jumping. And she is a

:20:57. > :21:02.fourth world titdle - a woman who is a stalwart. She's won four or five

:21:03. > :21:08.world titles in the last five years. It is incredible. Over seven metres

:21:09. > :21:13.there. A personal best of 7. 30. She walks off as cool as a cucumber.

:21:14. > :21:22.Absolutely as cool as a cucumber. It was an emotional win as well for

:21:23. > :21:32.her. She was given that win as a tribute to... And the neutral

:21:33. > :21:35.athlete behind her. Superb jump. The Florida-based athlete there, who is

:21:36. > :21:40.Russian. That is the coach there, who would have been happy with that

:21:41. > :21:44.performance. What I am pleased about with her, she's always knocked on

:21:45. > :21:50.the doors for these championships. We all knew what she was capable of

:21:51. > :21:58.but today was her day. It was good to see that. I was speaking to Greg

:21:59. > :22:02.Rutherford, he thought that Spanovic would come away with the

:22:03. > :22:08.championship. Bartoletta went from fifth to sixth place through to a

:22:09. > :22:12.medal. She was, probably for me the favourite for this competition, the

:22:13. > :22:18.amount of speed she can generate on the runway. She struggle in the

:22:19. > :22:25.earlier part of the competition. She came through to win a medal. I was

:22:26. > :22:32.told, Colin, it is nice to see you, but I have to go and watch her jump.

:22:33. > :22:38.Her coach? Yes. And Lorraine Ugen who missed four out of her five

:22:39. > :22:42.jumps were no jumps. This was one of the only ones she registered and not

:22:43. > :22:46.good enough on the night. Superbly competitive individual. Well capable

:22:47. > :22:52.of winning a medal. Wasn't to be today. Wasn't to be.

:22:53. > :22:57.Her family earlier today were all looking forward to it - little

:22:58. > :23:02.Annabelle and little Nathaniel - not to be on the night. I am sure the

:23:03. > :23:09.family had a great evening, anyway. Shall we look forward to the

:23:10. > :23:16.hurdles. We look forward to this. Bar ret and Porter went out earlier

:23:17. > :23:19.today. The women who went through to the semi-finals tonight, boy, did

:23:20. > :23:25.they make it interesting! Cleanly away. A good start. Clatters

:23:26. > :23:30.that first barrier. Sally Pearson, so smooth. Away from the rest, oh

:23:31. > :23:37.Sally Pearson, the Olympic champion of 2012 - what a run. 12. 54.

:23:38. > :23:42.Daniel Williams had a terrible start. Didn't look settled. Hits the

:23:43. > :23:44.first hurdle. Manning is away. She's hurdling

:23:45. > :24:01.terribly. She hits the first barrier. She'll

:24:02. > :24:07.have to come from deep here. Harrison trying to get there.

:24:08. > :24:14.Nelson... She is not going to get there. 12. 6 h. Is she quick enough?

:24:15. > :24:17.Is she quick enough to go through? These are the qualifiers then -

:24:18. > :24:22.Pearson looks good. Dawn Harper Nelson. Four Americans in there.

:24:23. > :24:27.They had the top three at Rio in the Olympic Games and they have four

:24:28. > :24:31.going in the final tomorrow. It was not without drama and Colin,

:24:32. > :24:34.to start off with Kendra Harrison - did not see that

:24:35. > :24:40.I watched here in the haelts this morning, she clattered the second

:24:41. > :24:44.hurdle. I said, you have to watch that because of timing. It is a

:24:45. > :24:48.little sense of her timing was out. In that semifinal it was very clear

:24:49. > :24:52.that her time was out. Will she get her timing back in time for the

:24:53. > :24:57.final? It will be a really tough call for her. I hope she has a good,

:24:58. > :25:03.restful sleep. She needs to switch her mind off and go back to the

:25:04. > :25:07.Diamond League. Sally Pearson - the commentary - perfect hurdling

:25:08. > :25:11.tonight. Of course I did. Perfect commentary, perfect race. It

:25:12. > :25:15.is great to see her return to form. What I have seen with Sal is her

:25:16. > :25:19.technique is nice and sharp. She feels confident with her technique

:25:20. > :25:26.that is allowing her to drive hard into every one of those hurdles. If

:25:27. > :25:29.she is inspired tomorrow even with Kenny ripping, Sally may have

:25:30. > :25:34.enough. We are ripping it up tonight! We had a high jump

:25:35. > :25:39.competition and the heats of the men's competitions earlier today.

:25:40. > :25:43.Robert Grabarz, London 2012 Olympic medallist five years ago. He had a

:25:44. > :25:51.couple of errors. But he made the clearance. This was his second

:25:52. > :25:55.attempt of 2. 29. Robbie, an Olympic gold-medallist in 2012. Probably the

:25:56. > :26:00.most seasoned member of the team. He's come back from serious

:26:01. > :26:04.injuries, knee injuries. Cleared it second attempt. Really thought that

:26:05. > :26:08.would be enough. But then the competition tightened up. Qualifying

:26:09. > :26:11.was 2.31. A couple of people could have knocked him out. He was in

:26:12. > :26:18.11th. Then what does he do. He clears

:26:19. > :26:22.2.31. He just... I go through a semi heart attack. He's as cool as a

:26:23. > :26:30.cucumber. There is he with his dauthern. The crowd, see! Could

:26:31. > :26:36.potentially see, what do you think about Barsham making a world title.

:26:37. > :26:41.Could have driven a bus through the gap Robbie can sneak a medal if he

:26:42. > :26:47.can keep his jumps clean. He could be there. They usually hand out two

:26:48. > :26:56.or three bronzes. They are kind. Like to share it

:26:57. > :27:04.around. Nick Miller - we had his face prepared to go on this. After a

:27:05. > :27:14.-- on this board hear. -- on this board here.

:27:15. > :27:21.His third round throw. He's outside the top eight which would give him

:27:22. > :27:30.another three. Big effort. Four turns, spin... That hammer is about

:27:31. > :27:34.60 kilos or more. Travelling over 60 miles per hour more like. There he

:27:35. > :27:40.is. He responded magnificently and went into a medal position with this

:27:41. > :27:44.throw. So, this is the winner. This was the guy - Fajdek, who made a

:27:45. > :27:48.hash in 2016 in Rio, but wasn't going to make the same mistake

:27:49. > :27:52.tonight. He can generate so much more speed into the hammer head. He

:27:53. > :27:59.just moves it faster. Absolutely fantastic. And a great victory for

:28:00. > :28:04.him. A little disappointed for Nick Miller. He performed as well as he

:28:05. > :28:09.could. He was superb. Well done Nick Miller. Possibly the best that could

:28:10. > :28:17.have been expected with him tonight. Shall we finish with the hedgehog?

:28:18. > :28:24.Hero doing his thing. One more time! I mean, genuinely, I really hope to

:28:25. > :28:32.meet him one of these days. Hanging out with the Jamaican fans. Hero,

:28:33. > :28:38.the hedgehog, a man who in the next couple of days will be missed,

:28:39. > :28:48.mostly by that soldier. But you know, brothers in arms - if you get

:28:49. > :28:53.close then what? We showed this last night, but he hadn't read the health

:28:54. > :28:58.and safety manual. He shouldn't be unleashed on a camera. If you saw a

:28:59. > :29:03.wonky shot it is down to the hedgehog. Enough of him - these guys

:29:04. > :29:09.have been patient and lovely. Let's go and meet the people. Colin, you

:29:10. > :29:14.lead the way. These are the important people in our coverage -

:29:15. > :29:19.they make everything worthwhile. We take selfies, we write autographs as

:29:20. > :29:22.well. The relays start tomorrow. We are on in the morning. Happy

:29:23. > :29:29.weekend. We'll see you.
