:00:35. > :00:40.Good afternoon. The Murray brothers are looking to extend their history

:00:41. > :00:44.making careers at the Australian Open by becoming the first brothers

:00:45. > :00:48.in the open era to make it through to a grand slam final in the singles

:00:49. > :00:53.and doubles. Jamie plays tomorrow but Andy was in action in his

:00:54. > :00:55.semifinal earlier today. He's had another impressive season and

:00:56. > :01:00.arrived in Melbourne as the world number two. In recent years he given

:01:01. > :01:05.Summit to celebrate and turned Great Britain into a proud tennis nation

:01:06. > :01:10.once again. -- given us so much to celebrate.

:01:11. > :01:14.COMMENTATOR: It's a golden triumph for Andy Murray.

:01:15. > :01:20.One senses that after this actually there could be so much more to come.

:01:21. > :01:26.And Andy Murray has got his first grand slam. Oh my goodness, he's

:01:27. > :01:32.gone and done it and done it the hard way!

:01:33. > :01:37.The waiting is over, Andy Murray is the Wimbledon Championships!

:01:38. > :01:45.Great Britain have done it in the most spectacular style!

:01:46. > :01:49.STUDIO: What a career so far, now today Murray has his sights on a

:01:50. > :01:53.fifth Australian Open final, but up against him was Alice Raonic. We've

:01:54. > :01:56.talked about him being one of the next superstars tennis for years and

:01:57. > :02:02.finally he seems to be living up to the hype. -- Milos Raonic. He's all

:02:03. > :02:06.was had a big serve and now he has a new coach, Carlos Moya command a

:02:07. > :02:09.more attacking style. But for Raonic this is only his second Grand Slam

:02:10. > :02:13.semifinal but the man on the other side of the net is very used to

:02:14. > :02:18.playing on the big occasion. Because, for Andy Murray, this is

:02:19. > :02:23.his 18th Grand Slam semifinal. He's been through to an amazing eight

:02:24. > :02:29.grand slam finals and has won two of them, the major titles coming at the

:02:30. > :02:34.US Open and Wimbledon in 2013, what a record. Now, can he make it grand

:02:35. > :02:40.slam final number nine? As we join the match Raonic had taken the first

:02:41. > :02:46.set 6-4, Murray came back by taking the second set 7-5. So, we can join

:02:47. > :02:47.it now it is 5-5 in the third set, Murray to serve, John Lloyd and

:02:48. > :03:11.Andrew Castle other commentators. COMMENTATOR: That, to me was some of

:03:12. > :03:16.the improvement, the forehand, the variety, the instinct to go short

:03:17. > :03:20.and take the angle away, you don't normally see that from him, he is

:03:21. > :03:26.known as a power player. That forehand, there. That was just a

:03:27. > :03:29.classy shot. Once again he gets 0-15. The third time this set

:03:30. > :03:45.against Murray's serve. And like in the previous game Raonic

:03:46. > :03:54.gets to 0-30. They are absolutely toe to toe at the moment, 1-1 and

:03:55. > :03:55.5-5. In the previous game he had a second serve at 15-30, Raonic

:03:56. > :03:59.command didn't go for second serve at 15-30, Raonic

:04:00. > :04:02.a second serve in one of the next two points I'd be surprised if he

:04:03. > :04:09.didn't step in and really clobber it.

:04:10. > :04:16.There it is. Let's see if he goes for it now. He's got to gamble at

:04:17. > :04:28.0-30. Oh! It was Murray that did the

:04:29. > :04:34.gambling. He knew that he was under attack, brilliant match player. That

:04:35. > :04:38.was fantastic. He knew what was going to happen, the odds were that

:04:39. > :04:44.Raonic would step in and bump this forehand, and that is a brave second

:04:45. > :04:53.serve at that stage in the match. That could literally be the turning

:04:54. > :04:59.point. Another chance. UMPIRE: Murray is challenging the call on

:05:00. > :05:02.the left far sideline. If it is a second serve does he slide one down

:05:03. > :05:06.the middle and catch Raonic unawares? Has this caught the line?

:05:07. > :05:34.No, it is a second serve. Oh no. Really, seriously? You would

:05:35. > :05:44.go for a shot like that? How many out of ten? Nine out of ten. Second

:05:45. > :05:46.serve ace at 0-30 and then the drop shot

:05:47. > :05:51.serve ace at 0-30 and then the drop many in the match. That was cheeky.

:05:52. > :05:59.You don't achieve what please.

:06:00. > :06:04.You don't achieve what winning the Davis

:06:05. > :06:06.You don't achieve what Wimbledon and the US Open, without

:06:07. > :06:11.knowing how to play a match. He has Wimbledon and the US Open, without

:06:12. > :06:15.absolutely recognised the scale of the task down the other end and what

:06:16. > :06:34.he has to do to win it. It's wonderful, isn't it?

:06:35. > :07:21.That's is away, and credit to again. He's bringing so much

:07:22. > :07:28.pressure to bear on his opponent. He's going after these ground

:07:29. > :07:30.strokes, and he has a break point. He has not

:07:31. > :07:34.strokes, and he has a break point. this game, Murray, he needs one

:07:35. > :07:38.here. He hasn't broken since the very first game of the match and

:07:39. > :07:42.that propelled him to the first set will stop he normally goes out wide

:07:43. > :07:45.on these big points, Murray. That his favourite serve. We will see if

:07:46. > :08:12.he can do it this time. I tell you, it was high enough to go

:08:13. > :08:20.over, Murray almost broke the net cord on the forehand, and it went

:08:21. > :08:22.deep. He served it to Raonic's forehand, he went to the strength,

:08:23. > :09:10.took the risk, and it paid off. The

:09:11. > :09:30.they've played. Both players playing at their best.

:09:31. > :09:37.That is a magnificent game of tennis. From both players. They

:09:38. > :09:43.could be the fulcrum of the match, we will see. Murray saves break

:09:44. > :10:28.point, takes a 6-5 lead in the third set.

:10:29. > :10:36.Really not many, five, considering how hard he goes for it, and that

:10:37. > :10:41.was a big one. The first point of the game, trying to stay on serve to

:10:42. > :10:47.get into a tie-break, not the right time.

:10:48. > :10:55.Good recovery from bear. He kept his nerve. -- from the

:10:56. > :12:01.Canadian there. He just slightly overran it, just

:12:02. > :12:09.over connected on that side, Murray, he chose the right way to go. --

:12:10. > :12:26.overcommitted on that side. Just couldn't get it off that right shin.

:12:27. > :12:39.That's the second one he's hit in the tramline of the backhand side,

:12:40. > :12:44.he's about six feet off the court surface, retrieving everything!

:12:45. > :12:47.Murray seems to go the right way almost all the time on the big shot,

:12:48. > :12:52.he knew where it was going and anticipated it. It wasn't an easy

:12:53. > :13:15.shot by any means but he had a chance.

:13:16. > :13:26.The best backhand he's hit all match. Superb match in the Rod Laver

:13:27. > :13:39.Arena. Absolutely delighting in this contest as we go into a third set

:13:40. > :13:53.tie-break. What a hold of serve, you have to take your hat off.

:13:54. > :14:00.Better winning percentage in tie-breaks for Murray. They've

:14:01. > :14:11.played three, 2-1 to Raonic. Is matter. -- doesn't matter. That's

:14:12. > :14:16.lucky. Yeah, he didn't mean that return. He will take it, obviously,

:14:17. > :14:25.but it is a mis-hit. That is a rough start for Andy Murray, it really is,

:14:26. > :14:26.the danger. He totally lost control, his racket almost flipped in his

:14:27. > :14:54.hand. Bid is another one of those. Make

:14:55. > :14:59.your man play. That is how the second set ended, with a fairly lame

:15:00. > :15:03.volley from Raonic. If anybody is going to make you play it is going

:15:04. > :15:10.to be Murray. Murray and Djokovic in this situation are ridiculous,

:15:11. > :15:13.getting a racket on it. Could have moved in a couple of steps instead

:15:14. > :15:20.of the lunge on that volley, that was the mistake he made.

:15:21. > :15:27.That's what he's done well, Raonic. When he's played a disappointing

:15:28. > :15:31.shot he's rebounder very quickly, he hasn't let it worry him, he's got

:15:32. > :15:35.right on with business. Obviously in the tie-break you don't have time to

:15:36. > :15:39.feel sorry for yourself. He's done that throughout the match. He's

:15:40. > :15:41.mentally kept himself really in this whole time, as has Murray, after a

:15:42. > :16:16.disappointing start to the match. Absolutely what you've been saying.

:16:17. > :16:17.That second serve did sit down. Murray's second serve has been

:16:18. > :16:21.better in this tournament Murray's second serve has been

:16:22. > :16:24.are occasions when he gets tight, he hits that won three quarters down

:16:25. > :16:28.the middle of the service box and that's what you've got to do with

:16:29. > :16:32.it, go for it and attack it, the best chance you have two win the

:16:33. > :16:46.point against him, get ahead early in the rally.

:16:47. > :16:51.Andy's Brother Jamie in the doubles final with a ruler Suarez, a new

:16:52. > :16:57.partnership going well, they are playing against Nesta, the

:16:58. > :17:00.43-year-old Canadian and Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic. Will

:17:01. > :17:19.Murray make a fifth final here? I don't think I've ever seen anybody

:17:20. > :17:23.serve as many body serves as Raonic has today against Murray and it's

:17:24. > :17:25.been this successful. It's a serve not used that much but you've got to

:17:26. > :17:31.be brilliant to do not used that much but you've got to

:17:32. > :17:33.depth and pace and height not used that much but you've got to

:17:34. > :17:35.getting on this serve not used that much but you've got to

:17:36. > :17:39.remarkable. Talking about Carlos not used that much but you've got to

:17:40. > :17:45.an illustrious name working with Raonic, but Riccardo Piatti is one

:17:46. > :17:50.of the unsung heroes of coaching, he always gets the best out of his man

:17:51. > :17:53.and he's in the camp too, he will have had a lot to do with this and

:17:54. > :18:07.they would have done their homework on Murray. Of course. 4-2 now.

:18:08. > :18:19.Oh! O my Lord, What a shot. When that mob went up

:18:20. > :18:22.for Murray I thought Raonic would have to hit a three quarters overhit

:18:23. > :18:26.to get back into the point but he goes for a clean winner and makes

:18:27. > :18:30.it. When you haven't lost for three months you feel pretty confident. He

:18:31. > :18:39.feels good, he's beaten Federer this year in Brisbane. He's ready to

:18:40. > :18:54.contest this, and that was risky business.

:18:55. > :19:02.What a tie-breaker this is. Raonic has already beaten Wawrinka in this

:19:03. > :19:19.tournament and Viktor Troicki, Robredo.

:19:20. > :19:28.OK, well, here it is. This is why you train, white you work, get up,

:19:29. > :19:31.OK, well, here it is. This is why stretch, go through the pain barrier

:19:32. > :19:38.again and again, go and do your physio, think about it 24 hours a

:19:39. > :19:41.day come for these moments. Yes, he will be visualising two big first

:19:42. > :19:46.serves, either to the body or going for aces and Murray will be

:19:47. > :19:50.visualising getting to this point and reading the serve no matter what

:19:51. > :19:52.and getting it back into play. He's picturing now where he will hit this

:19:53. > :20:28.as he's bouncing the ball. How good was that point? Superb.

:20:29. > :20:37.From the serve onwards both men. This is quality. It doesn't get much

:20:38. > :20:45.better than this. It really doesn't, 140 mph first service took some guts

:20:46. > :20:47.as well. He might be tempted by the wide serve here, he's got two set

:20:48. > :21:00.points. Big down the middle. Raonic has

:21:01. > :21:03.played a superb third set and third set tie-break and he's one set away

:21:04. > :21:08.from his first grand slam final. Murray has got to win two straight

:21:09. > :21:13.to make it to Sunday's final once again. What a contest.

:21:14. > :21:19.STUDIO: Raonic in charge of the match but just three games later he

:21:20. > :21:23.called for the trainer to the court and he pointed to his hip as if it

:21:24. > :21:26.was the problem. After much discussion the trainer decided

:21:27. > :21:31.privacy was required for the treatment so they decided to leave

:21:32. > :21:35.the court. There was a delay for about five minutes. Let's pick up

:21:36. > :21:36.the match once again, we will move on a few games and rejoin at 3-3

:21:37. > :21:51.with Raonic to serve. Fantastic return. Raonic tempted to

:21:52. > :21:58.have a look at that with Hawk-Eye. He had the best view and he knew it

:21:59. > :22:05.was in. It came at him so quickly off if a huge first serve.

:22:06. > :22:19.Good start for Murray in this game. Now then. Going over the high part

:22:20. > :22:21.of the net with a ball you are trying to keep low, obvious it

:22:22. > :23:10.hasn't. That is away and its three break

:23:11. > :23:15.points for Murray in the second game of the fourth set. Proactive on the

:23:16. > :23:20.backhand to start with and then the forehand down the line drawing the

:23:21. > :23:22.error. This expression is one that we've seen so many times over the

:23:23. > :23:58.years. There was an urgency to the work

:23:59. > :24:02.Andy Murray put in there. It's a break of serve, will it bring him

:24:03. > :24:05.the fourth set? Time will tell, but that was a great effort. 4-3, fourth

:24:06. > :24:41.set. It is one thing breaking serve, it's

:24:42. > :24:47.quite another to go ahead and capitalise on it. It's 4-3, Murray,

:24:48. > :24:49.breaking Raonic. The semifinal of the Australian Open, deep in the

:24:50. > :25:40.fourth set. Nice point from the Canadian, he

:25:41. > :26:18.needed to break that momentum a little bit.

:26:19. > :26:26.This is a Murray phase of the match, it really is. See the way he dealt

:26:27. > :26:30.with the Raonic slice, just lifted it over the net, good control adjust

:26:31. > :26:37.rolling over the top of all of these, he has got his man where he

:26:38. > :26:46.wants him at the moment. He took an injury time-out, Raonic, 15 minutes

:26:47. > :26:48.ago. Is he hurting? We thought it was a stomach muscle, was it a leg?

:26:49. > :27:14.We really don't know. Unforced errors, yes, lots more from

:27:15. > :27:21.Raonic but he's hit much more winners, 30 more. That's been the

:27:22. > :27:26.nature of the match, Murray Rock-like, making as few errors as

:27:27. > :27:27.possible from the back of the court and Raonic kind of going for it and

:27:28. > :27:45.taking more risks. That's way too early. Concentration.

:27:46. > :27:48.What is the panic? Unusual for Murray to make two bad errors like

:27:49. > :27:52.that in a game, occasionally he will throw in one like anybody but two

:27:53. > :27:58.poor shots is unusual. I think throw in one like anybody but two

:27:59. > :28:02.his leg, John Raonic. Yes, it looks like it. Yes. He's had issues

:28:03. > :28:37.before. This is extraordinary. Mentally,

:28:38. > :28:43.Murray has been so strong in this set, and almost the whole match, and

:28:44. > :28:47.then in this game, suddenly after doing the hard work and breaking he

:28:48. > :28:53.has got sloppy. It's the sloppiest game he's played. Three poor shots,

:28:54. > :29:00.still not out of it yet. But it is a bit of a bonus for Raonic. He's up a

:29:01. > :29:05.break point without really playing a particularly good game. It's been

:29:06. > :29:07.given to him a little bit. He needs a first serve here to get himself

:29:08. > :29:39.out of trouble. What a first volley that was. He

:29:40. > :29:47.wants the final against Djokovic again, he so badly wants to win this

:29:48. > :29:49.one. The first volley was absolutely crucial. The second one was a put

:29:50. > :29:53.away and he had to hold his ground crucial. The second one was a put

:29:54. > :29:58.but the first one he managed to get it behind Raonic somehow, good

:29:59. > :30:02.effort. Is that positive enough for you? That is a Lleyton Hewitt move,

:30:03. > :30:52.isn't it? This is a dangerous game, he was

:30:53. > :31:30.40-15 up after breaking serve. Long. Raonic is still moving well,

:31:31. > :31:38.if he has a hip problem, he could be in the circus will with that one.

:31:39. > :31:43.Murray saying to his box "Terrible tennis" and it has been by his

:31:44. > :31:56.standards in this game but he can still hold.

:31:57. > :32:08.That was anything but terrible. Raonic had hip surgery in 2011 after

:32:09. > :32:16.taking a fall at Wimbledon against Muller in the second round, he was

:32:17. > :32:23.out several weeks with that. I wonder if there has been a

:32:24. > :32:32.recurrence but I really hope not. Murray gets out of the game. That is

:32:33. > :33:03.an important hold of serve, 5-3. We appear to be heading to a fifth set.

:33:04. > :33:15.Ricardo, in the Orange hat, a brilliant coach. Played here in

:33:16. > :33:16.1997, lost to Sampras but beat defending champion Becker in the

:33:17. > :33:52.first round. An exhausting point, Murray being

:33:53. > :33:59.sarcastic, cannot believe he missed that last shot. Even though Raonic

:34:00. > :34:02.came through that point but it is an illustration of how awkward it is to

:34:03. > :34:44.play against Murray, he gets every bull back.

:34:45. > :34:51.Regardless of what happens in this game, whether Raonic wins it or not,

:34:52. > :34:55.Murray wants to make him struggle and suffer and get that momentum, a

:34:56. > :35:23.little something on his side before he serves for this fourth set.

:35:24. > :36:52.Why not get the job done right here? Andy Murray is two points away from

:36:53. > :36:58.taking us to a fifth set. Novak Djokovic awaits in the final again.

:36:59. > :37:02.He will be quite happy right now, hoping this match goes to five sets

:37:03. > :37:07.and that they stay out there for another hour or two. Two days rest.

:37:08. > :37:26.Correct, but still. I wonder how much Raonic has left in

:37:27. > :38:08.the tank now. Just wide, I am sure Andy Murray

:38:09. > :38:15.will have a look and why not, that is what the technology is for, he

:38:16. > :38:19.went for it on the backhand. Mrs maybe one in 20 of these. But he did

:38:20. > :39:34.miss it. Set point gone. There is no defence to that.

:39:35. > :39:43.Previously the server had gone out wide, rising and slicing, that one

:39:44. > :39:54.about 40 K pH quicker. That is nicely done. He likes the drop

:39:55. > :41:12.Murray will serve for the fourth Murray will serve for the fourth

:41:13. > :41:20.I do not see any signs where that medical problem is affecting him

:41:21. > :41:26.right now in his game, it affected his serve power in the previous

:41:27. > :41:33.game. Perhaps it does not have the base he wants, a problem with his

:41:34. > :41:39.leg. If so, it will be a long fifth set. If we go a fifth, I think

:41:40. > :41:41.Raonic, as a theory, he might have to get the job done now, in this

:41:42. > :41:47.set. I am not sure what he to get the job done now, in this

:41:48. > :41:53.offer after this, moving to the backhand side, clicking hips and

:41:54. > :41:55.things like that is nasty, speaking as a man with metal in that area

:41:56. > :42:33.myself. A bad error from Murray. This is a beautifully constructive

:42:34. > :42:42.point, credit where it is due. He is summoning the energy from somewhere.

:42:43. > :42:48.He had to use his legs well to get up for this overhead, that was a

:42:49. > :42:57.tough overhead, two quick steps back and a good spring to get up and snap

:42:58. > :42:59.that one away. He has kept the lid on his devotions so much in this

:43:00. > :43:29.match, Murray. -- his emotions. Aided by a first serve, still break

:43:30. > :44:07.point. that was gutsy. It certainly was. I

:44:08. > :44:09.thought Raonic would get round and hit a forehand, as he was going to,

:44:10. > :44:31.hit round it and then went for it. Three points in a row from 15-40

:44:32. > :45:06.down, Murray has a set point for a decider.

:45:07. > :45:15.He had to fight so hard in the last two service games, in that one he

:45:16. > :45:20.had to save two break points but he has got the job done. Looking for a

:45:21. > :45:39.fifth final at the Australian Open. The elephant in the room as we go to

:45:40. > :45:45.a fifth set in this semifinal at the Australian Open is the injury to

:45:46. > :45:59.Milos Raonic, how bad is the right hip? It will be tested here.

:46:00. > :46:08.Bad start. Look at Murray, he is raising over there, he is

:46:09. > :46:44.broadcasting that he is ready now, get early and push ahead.

:46:45. > :46:55.Troubling times now for Milos Raonic, a double fault, backhand

:46:56. > :47:07.into the middle of the net and Murray will sense his opportunity.

:47:08. > :47:16.That is a good switch from Raonic. A nice angled serve and then the

:47:17. > :47:20.majority of those forehands, he nice angled serve and then the

:47:21. > :47:26.hit them to the oft forehand and that is where Murray recovered on

:47:27. > :47:55.that one, fooling Murray, good point from Raonic.

:47:56. > :47:59.Murray's wheels getting the job done there, Stern defence. Making his

:48:00. > :48:35.opponent play the bull. A second double fault in the game

:48:36. > :48:39.and from that side, Raonic is livid and it is more than livid, it is the

:48:40. > :48:44.emotions coming out, not anger in the traditional sense. We do not

:48:45. > :48:48.condemn it as such, if he has to take a fine, so be it but he has

:48:49. > :48:52.thrown it into this match, everything in this match, I don't

:48:53. > :48:59.think he has much left and the injury has been a factor.

:49:00. > :49:02.Frustrating for the Canadian but Murray very much in charge and

:49:03. > :49:04.following that break he did not let up, racing through the final set,

:49:05. > :49:21.here he is with match point. And that is it, the forehand winner

:49:22. > :49:25.closes out a famous victory for Andy Murray, he will have a crack at

:49:26. > :49:30.Djokovic again in a final of the Australian Open. A superb

:49:31. > :49:34.contribution from Milos Raonic, who will surely have a tremendous 2016

:49:35. > :49:48.but once again, Murray advances. Plenty of time to rest and

:49:49. > :49:56.recuperate ahead of the most mundane matchup in tennis, playing Djokovic.

:49:57. > :50:03.That is why the trains and why he works because he would so dearly

:50:04. > :50:13.love to win an Australian Open. It would be at his fifth attempt.

:50:14. > :50:18.Expect big things from Mill 's Raonic this year, he beat Stan

:50:19. > :50:23.Wawrinka here and Gael Monfils as well. And who knows what would have

:50:24. > :50:33.happened if he had not injured his right hip. An excellent tournament.

:50:34. > :50:40.Murray, just four wins at grand level bind Boris Becker at 159 now.

:50:41. > :50:45.He is talking to former champion here, Jim Courier. This match had a

:50:46. > :50:49.lot of twists and turns and at the end of the third set, he played a

:50:50. > :50:55.near-perfect tie-break, what was going through your mind when you sat

:50:56. > :50:58.down? It was tough because I played well in that set but in the

:50:59. > :51:04.tie-break he did not miss a first serve and he has one of the best

:51:05. > :51:09.serves in tennis. It was frustrating when you do not have much say in the

:51:10. > :51:14.points. I started to get a better read on his serve as the match went

:51:15. > :51:19.on and able to make a few more returns and that was the key. He was

:51:20. > :51:24.treated for an injury early in the fourth set and that is difficult for

:51:25. > :51:28.the player who is injured but sometimes challenging for you to see

:51:29. > :51:33.what is going on and how to process that, how did it impact you and the

:51:34. > :51:37.match? Won he definitely slowed down in the fifth set, for sure, which is

:51:38. > :51:42.unfortunate for him. It would have been nice to play a more competitive

:51:43. > :51:47.fifth set but he was struggling with his movement and his serve a bit. In

:51:48. > :51:51.the fourth set, I thought he was still moving pretty good through to

:51:52. > :51:53.the end but got a bit lucky with that and you have to try and focus

:51:54. > :51:58.on your side of the court that and you have to try and focus

:51:59. > :52:01.you can. You are into your that and you have to try and focus

:52:02. > :52:10.final at the Australian Open and laying a familiar foe, Novak again

:52:11. > :52:16.will be there, what will be the key in that battle on Sunday night? Reid

:52:17. > :52:22.a lot of things are important when you are playing the best players in

:52:23. > :52:28.the world. I need to execute my game plan well and not have any lapses in

:52:29. > :52:33.concentration and play as best match as I can. Novak has played extremely

:52:34. > :52:34.well in last couple of matches and obviously loves playing on

:52:35. > :52:38.well in last couple of matches and court and we have played a bunch of

:52:39. > :52:44.times but hopefully this time it will be a different result. Not the

:52:45. > :52:47.only Murray in a final here, your brother Jamie and doubles final

:52:48. > :52:51.tomorrow night, the first time two doubles have made a singles and

:52:52. > :52:54.tomorrow night, the first time two doubles final in The Open error,

:52:55. > :52:58.tomorrow night, the first time two must make your mum proud, what are

:52:59. > :53:03.tomorrow night, the first time two Both of my parents will be extremely

:53:04. > :53:09.tomorrow night, the first time two players coming out of Scotland. I

:53:10. > :53:15.never expected to be doing this comment neither of our parents would

:53:16. > :53:19.have expected us to be there, to be in a slam final at the same time is

:53:20. > :53:26.incredible, hopefully he can get the win tomorrow. This is the third one

:53:27. > :53:31.in a row for him so I hope he can get the win tomorrow night. Sunday

:53:32. > :53:35.is obvious the important for you, you and your wife have an important

:53:36. > :53:46.event in the next couple of weeks, are you ready to be a father? I hope

:53:47. > :53:52.so. I will find out pretty soon. I have been reading a lot of books and

:53:53. > :53:56.trying to learn but I think when the baby comes, you need to be able to

:53:57. > :54:01.adapt. I do not think books or classes will make you a great

:54:02. > :54:06.parent, I will just try to learn on the way and with the support of my

:54:07. > :54:09.wife, we will try our best to be good parents. If I can do it,

:54:10. > :54:12.anybody good parents. If I can do it,

:54:13. > :54:19.see you on performance tonight. Deep reading

:54:20. > :54:20.the books Andy and he will be back on Sunday for the fifth Australian

:54:21. > :54:24.the books Andy and he will be back Open final for him, up against the

:54:25. > :54:26.great Novak Djokovic, the fourth time he has faced Djokovic in

:54:27. > :54:34.Melbourne. time he has faced Djokovic in

:54:35. > :54:38.One, earlier, at 1pm, Serena time he has faced Djokovic in

:54:39. > :54:41.Williams looking for a 22nd grand slam title against Angelique Kerber

:54:42. > :54:45.who put at Johanna Konta yesterday. And also the men's double, Jamie

:54:46. > :54:52.Murray and his new partner, Bruno Soares against the very experienced

:54:53. > :54:59.Daniel Nestor and Radek Stepanek. They 43 and 37 respectively. That

:55:00. > :55:03.will be in the highlights programme. A lovely interview for Andy at the

:55:04. > :55:09.end of a Grand Slam semifinal, asking how he will be a dad. You'll

:55:10. > :55:13.macro he handled it well, a short answer, no, you never are, it does

:55:14. > :55:15.not matter what your expectations are but what a wonderful thing to

:55:16. > :55:19.look forward to. After are but what a wonderful thing to

:55:20. > :55:23.that Nigel Sears went through, we can assure you he is fine, out of

:55:24. > :55:28.respect for his privacy we will say no more but he is fine. It is

:55:29. > :55:31.wonderful times, Andy has nothing to lose, I know he is in the final and

:55:32. > :55:38.he wants to win this thing and complete his set of the slams, Davis

:55:39. > :55:41.Cup and Olympics but against Novak, he talks about executing the game

:55:42. > :55:47.plan but optimism is another thing you have to add to that, just go for

:55:48. > :55:50.it. Just like he did in sets three and four in the French Open

:55:51. > :55:56.semifinal last year, try to hit him off the court, I cannot wait. Milos

:55:57. > :56:01.Raonic, you feel for him because he has a new coach and a new attitude,

:56:02. > :56:06.fitter and stronger, beating Federer in Brisbane and playing well and

:56:07. > :56:10.then gets an injury. He said it is an abductor injury he has struggled

:56:11. > :56:16.with. I thought he was fantastic today and in the whole tournament.

:56:17. > :56:19.We have thought of him as being one-dimensional, the big serve, not

:56:20. > :56:24.much variety but we know that is now not true. We saw some fantastic

:56:25. > :56:30.forehand angles and approach shots and his volleying was superb, the

:56:31. > :56:34.body serve was wonderful. The variety of the forehand. I look at

:56:35. > :56:40.him now and you talk about people who can win Grand Slams, including

:56:41. > :56:44.the big four, including Wawrinka but Raonic will be a threat from now on.

:56:45. > :56:51.Everyone will take note from now on, as far as the final is concerned, a

:56:52. > :56:56.familiar foe. They met in the final last year, the fourth time they are

:56:57. > :57:01.meeting and Djokovic has been so dominant. He has won ten of the last

:57:02. > :57:05.11, Murray can hang on to a couple of things, he has beaten him in

:57:06. > :57:09.grand slam finals before, he can do it. I think Novak Djokovic has never

:57:10. > :57:14.been better and everybody understands that. He had the most

:57:15. > :57:19.phenomenal 2015, losing one grand slam match and he has started in the

:57:20. > :57:25.same form again, he does not lose, he lost in the group stages at the

:57:26. > :57:29.O2 in the end of season tournament but has not lost since. He is the

:57:30. > :57:34.nearest thing we have two unbeatable on the men's side for quite a while.

:57:35. > :57:38.It is the greatest task but that is what Murray gets ready for, he is

:57:39. > :57:43.not bad at number two in the world and he is playing superbly. He has

:57:44. > :57:47.nothing to lose, go for it, he has beaten him before. Murray only

:57:48. > :57:53.winning one match in the last 11 meetings but you would say he has

:57:54. > :57:57.had the Davis Cup and he seemed to have reinvented himself in some ways

:57:58. > :58:02.with a new confidence. Their games cancel each other out because they

:58:03. > :58:07.are so similar and so great. In the matches recently, Djokovic can hang

:58:08. > :58:12.in there longer and Murray seems to fall off a bit. I was impressed with

:58:13. > :58:15.Murray today, the mental side, he got agitated at the beginning and we

:58:16. > :58:20.thought he would be looking at his box but mentally he got into the

:58:21. > :58:26.state he needs to be in. He needs to do that against Djokovic from start

:58:27. > :58:30.to finish, do not give away any weaknesses to Djokovic. I think he

:58:31. > :58:34.has a good chance in the final actually. It can be tetchy between

:58:35. > :58:39.the two of them, but we look forward to that on Sunday and we have the

:58:40. > :58:43.ladies final tomorrow on BBC One. At today, Andy Murray, British number

:58:44. > :58:47.one, proved what a tough competitor he is when it matters in the big

:58:48. > :58:53.events, well done Andy, goodbye from us all.

:58:54. > :59:00.COMMENTATOR: First set to Milos Raonic. A famous victory for Andy

:59:01. > :59:02.Murray, he will have a crack at Djokovic again in the final of the

:59:03. > :59:03.Australian Open.
