:00:15. > :00:19.Exactly 90 years ago the Ulster Grand Prix was born. For over 20

:00:19. > :00:24.year it's was part of the World Championship and was graced by the

:00:24. > :00:27.greats of motorcycle racing. ARCHIVE: The 4078 World

:00:27. > :00:34.Championship Ulster Grand Prix. It's called the biggest annual

:00:34. > :00:44.sporting event in Ireland. Off they The Ulster was part of the Formula

:00:44. > :00:53.

:00:53. > :01:00.Foot-and-mouth may have stopped the North West and TT in 2001, but it

:01:00. > :01:10.couldn't stop the Ulster. And in this special anniversary year, the

:01:10. > :01:18.

:01:18. > :01:23.UGP is a -- as strong and popular Welcome to Dundrod for the first of

:01:23. > :01:26.two hour-long highlights programmes from this year's McKinstry Skip

:01:27. > :01:30.Hire Ulster Grand Prix. This is a sport you certainly won't have seen

:01:30. > :01:34.at the Olympics for the last couple of weekends, but trust me, it will

:01:34. > :01:38.have you on the edge of your seats. If you've never seen racing around

:01:38. > :01:48.this famous circuit before, you're in for a very special treat,

:01:48. > :02:06.

:02:06. > :02:10.because this is the fastest road Here's the circuit then. The names

:02:10. > :02:15.of the corners are familiar to spectators but the riders have to

:02:15. > :02:25.know all the little bits that join it up, the fastest road racing

:02:25. > :02:25.

:02:25. > :02:30.circuit in the world, 133.9mph. And some of the best riders in the

:02:30. > :02:35.business are here to compete around this ultra-quick circuit. That

:02:35. > :02:42.include William and Michael Dunlop carrying on the family tradition.

:02:42. > :02:47.Jamie Hamill ton. Bruce Anstey, one of the old guard. Gary Johnson.

:02:47. > :02:51.He's already had international success Conor Cummins is back to

:02:51. > :02:54.full fitness. Guy Martin has been successful here before and there's

:02:54. > :02:58.Ryan Farquhar. We know all these riders know how to handle a bike.

:02:58. > :03:04.They say they know everything there is to know about horse power. But

:03:04. > :03:14.do they really? We sent the perfect man to find out with the help of

:03:14. > :03:30.

:03:30. > :03:37.I've just arrived at the Dunlop family home to chat to Michael and

:03:37. > :03:41.catch up about his bikes. His mum has been -- has a different type of

:03:41. > :03:50.hour power she wants to talk about. What have you planned today? Today

:03:50. > :04:00.you'll be riding this one here. This is a four-year-old pony.

:04:00. > :04:06.

:04:06. > :04:13.What's his name? Dylan. You'll be What do you think? He seems a wee

:04:13. > :04:23.bit tired mummy. Plan B. Ashley says he's a bit tired. We're going

:04:23. > :04:27.

:04:27. > :04:35.with Plan B. Hope you don't mind. didn't even know Plan A! Oh, my God.

:04:35. > :04:41.This is an Irish gelding. Like moving from a moped to a superbike.

:04:41. > :04:46.This is your mount today. We call him the beast. I heard you'd put a

:04:46. > :04:56.bit of weight on. I thought maybe this would be more suitable.

:04:56. > :04:59.

:04:59. > :05:07.Are you all right? It didn't take long until I got the hang of it.

:05:07. > :05:14.Can you sit up? You look a bit like hum ti dump ti. With help from

:05:14. > :05:19.Louise, Simon and Ashley. But the real reason I was here was

:05:19. > :05:26.to speak to Michael. He has had a great year, but now has a serious

:05:26. > :05:32.injury, damaging his back lifting engines in and out of bikes. Tell

:05:32. > :05:35.us what's wrong. I have two slipped discs in the bottom of my back

:05:35. > :05:39.which has ruptured the bottom spinal muscle. It's a bit of a

:05:39. > :05:44.disaster. Is that going to affect you in the race? It's not too bad.

:05:45. > :05:49.It affects me in the paddock. When I'm on the bike I'm not too bad. I

:05:49. > :05:53.feel OK. It's like anything, once you're on the bike you feel good.

:05:53. > :05:57.There's no better pain killer than adrenaline.

:05:57. > :06:03.COMMENTATOR: Michael Dunlop is again the champion. In the rain,

:06:03. > :06:07.it's Michael Dunlop again. Michael Dunlop is going to win! If the

:06:07. > :06:10.bikes keep going the way I like it, the tyres are working lovely, the

:06:10. > :06:15.team's working great too. Everyone's coming into place. I'm

:06:15. > :06:19.riding OK. I'm not the best I could be, but I'm riding enough that I'm

:06:19. > :06:26.comfortable. When I get up on the superbike it all clicks. You're

:06:26. > :06:31.against your brother out there, who is pretty handy. They're all good.

:06:31. > :06:37.Between William and a lot of other boys. Everybody is riding big bikes.

:06:37. > :06:42.They're all doing over 130mph lap. It's just fast and furious.

:06:42. > :06:50.looks like the two Suzuki boys were pushing you. Yeah Guy is riding

:06:50. > :06:54.well at the minute. Every time I've been round, Guy is behind it. He

:06:54. > :06:59.will be out to win some races. I'm looking to up my game. The boys

:06:59. > :07:04.will have to come with me. possible? I think 135 nearly s. The

:07:04. > :07:12.way the weather is and the boys are riding, you know, it scares he to

:07:12. > :07:17.think what Saturday could come out of and how fast it could go. I feel

:07:17. > :07:22.I can ride bikes OK, but how do you feel I'd be riding horses?. For

:07:22. > :07:29.your first time, that wasn't bad. I think we had the stirrups a bit

:07:29. > :07:34.long for you and you were a bit floppy. Nearly John Whittaker but

:07:34. > :07:36.more John Wayne maybe. Thank you Louise. That's OK.

:07:36. > :07:41.The Ulster Grand Prix has had its fair share of bad weather through

:07:41. > :07:44.the years. But I'm delighted to say that the sun is shining, it's a bit

:07:44. > :07:48.windy. Apart from that pretty perfect conditions for racing. The

:07:48. > :07:54.man who's won more races here than any other rider is the late great

:07:54. > :07:58.Joey Dunlop. His name is celebrated on the Grandstand at the start

:07:58. > :08:02.finish area. His nephews William and Michael keep the name to the

:08:02. > :08:11.fore. It's Michael in pole position for this, the first race of the day

:08:11. > :08:15.the super star class. With me now is Philip Mccallan. He says he can

:08:15. > :08:19.equal your record of five wins in a day here. Can he? I've heard that

:08:19. > :08:23.speech before. Michael is on form and capable of winning five races

:08:23. > :08:27.today. There's a few other boys capable as well. Michael's on top

:08:27. > :08:31.tune. He's been on the lap record soy think it's going to be a very

:08:31. > :08:37.interesting, exciting day. Michael Dunlop carrying an injury as well.

:08:37. > :08:42.So, it's time to join our race commentators.

:08:42. > :08:47.What we want to know of course, is whether or not Michael Dunlop who

:08:47. > :08:52.has virtually limped onto pole position can turn that into victory.

:08:52. > :08:57.Yeah the race is about to get under way, Michael Dunlop, questions

:08:57. > :09:03.about his fitness, but he's the man in form of late. He still has a

:09:03. > :09:09.couple of slipped disks. He's been limping around the paddock. He had

:09:09. > :09:10.a good race win on Thursday. We know he's capable. He's been helped

:09:10. > :09:15.know he's capable. He's been helped onto the motorcycle almost every

:09:15. > :09:20.time. He is the form rider on this grid. Look at the names around him

:09:20. > :09:24.as we ride with Bruce Anstey. Watch the boards as the riders do. Engage

:09:24. > :09:29.and then it will be watch the lights. Eyes will go right. The

:09:29. > :09:33.lights will go red. The lights will go off and the Ulster Grand Prix

:09:33. > :09:43.for 2012 little be officially under where. There we go. A cracking

:09:43. > :09:47.

:09:47. > :09:55.start for guy Martin, so too Bruce Anstey. There's Tim Lovejoy -- iain

:09:55. > :10:02.Logher. Great start for Lee Johnston on the Ducati. We're with

:10:02. > :10:10.Bruce Anstey. Next wave gets away. And gets away, well that's a great

:10:10. > :10:17.start from 56. Belting down towards the Flying Kilo. Dean Harris has

:10:18. > :10:25.lost two places. Don't run out as wide as you think they're going to.

:10:25. > :10:31.Here comes Ian Lougher again. That's the lead of the race. There

:10:32. > :10:39.we go Ian Lougher past Guy Martin. He's 49 years of age. Conor

:10:39. > :10:42.Cummins... Now that's interesting. Ahead of Michael Dunlop. Anstey.

:10:42. > :10:47.They're all there, all the people you expected. We didn't expect them

:10:47. > :10:52.to be this close. Anstey in third behind Cummins. That's the rest of

:10:53. > :11:00.the first wave. Looking down on Ian Lougher leading the thousands.

:11:00. > :11:08.Looking back at Bruce Anstey from the seat of Guy Martin's Suzuki.

:11:08. > :11:16.Gorgeous weather, lovely dry circuit as they run out to the back.

:11:16. > :11:22.We go back with the race leader Ian Lougher. Guy Martin, Bruce Anstey.

:11:22. > :11:27.Next up is what used to be this corner here that's been renamed

:11:27. > :11:31.Lougher. I found out why because it goes on and on and on. Just like

:11:31. > :11:36.Ian Lougher. Fantastic. The there have been so many question marks

:11:36. > :11:41.about Ian Lougher's future. He's proving everyone wrong who said he

:11:41. > :11:45.should quit. Totally wrong. This is why everybody loved the Grand Prix,

:11:45. > :11:50.these sweeping corners. Conor Cummins with space behind him now.

:11:50. > :12:00.Look at the people behind Ian Lougher, Michael Dunlop, Bruce

:12:00. > :12:03.

:12:03. > :12:09.Anstey, Guy Martin. It's a strong expect but just around the corner

:12:09. > :12:16.is the real corner. Not this first turn. It is the second one that

:12:16. > :12:25.gets you. It does this again. It is more awe-inspiring than Deer's Leap.

:12:25. > :12:30.Ian Lougher was practically launched to Belfast. The hairpin.

:12:30. > :12:34.Chris Anstey, out of the Seat. That benefits the men in front, Guy

:12:34. > :12:39.Martin and Ian Lougher, who looks like he will cross the line and

:12:40. > :12:44.lead for the first time. We end was the last time he was leading in

:12:44. > :12:49.international road race in? Especially on Superstock. Bruce

:12:49. > :12:54.Anstey trying to regain the momentum he lost on the hairpin.

:12:54. > :13:00.Such a technical part of the circuit. You really can make up

:13:00. > :13:06.time but you must know it well. Across the line. Ian Lougher, ahead

:13:06. > :13:10.of Guy Martin, then Bruce Anstey and he is one for second ahead of

:13:10. > :13:17.Michael Dunlop. Then Willie Johnston, staying with them on

:13:17. > :13:25.Ducati. The Flying Kilo. On board with Dean Harrison. This really is

:13:25. > :13:29.flying. Weaving around. Wasn't it? Look at this. The Ulster Grand Prix

:13:29. > :13:34.has really got him off to a flying start. Cracking weather and

:13:34. > :13:39.cracking racing. All three together, Bruce Anstey on the tail end. You

:13:39. > :13:45.need all the speed out of there and all the drive and he has got some

:13:45. > :13:52.in that front wheel. Going up hill. Let's replay at the start. On-board

:13:52. > :13:58.with Connor Cummins. Tyco Suzuki. William Dunlop. That is so tight.

:13:58. > :14:04.We've been around. These are 1000 cc production bikes. Bobbing up and

:14:04. > :14:11.down in that's it. Here comes Ian Lougher, right behind the bubble.

:14:11. > :14:15.He has got four men behind him. Really close. One of Michael

:14:15. > :14:19.Dunlop's characteristics is that he sometimes does not get the best

:14:19. > :14:27.start but he more than makes up for it. Guy Martin having a look at Ian

:14:27. > :14:32.Lougher. The new leader, Guy Martin. He passed Ian Lougher. I wonder for

:14:32. > :14:37.how much longer. Conor Cummins. Nailed to the tailpipe of that

:14:37. > :14:44.Suzuki. Really giving everything to Conor Cummins. Back on board with

:14:44. > :14:49.Bruce Anstey. Having a go. There is a temptation that there is that

:14:49. > :14:55.opening. When you get there, it isn't wide enough. He knows that.

:14:55. > :15:02.Look at third place. Michael Dunlop is through. Bruce Anstey back in

:15:02. > :15:09.4th place. How fast was that? Michael Dunlop. It's something tear

:15:09. > :15:16.off? I think so. Guy Martin leads Ian Lougher. This isn't the place

:15:16. > :15:21.to be passing Guy Martin. The foot down. Good heavens. It is like

:15:21. > :15:31.motocross. There is a problem for Dunlop. What is wrong with that

:15:31. > :15:33.

:15:33. > :15:40.left hand side? Get rid of that. Oh! You just have to pick your way

:15:40. > :15:45.around that. Here we go. Guy Martin and Ian Lougher. Bruce Anstey and

:15:45. > :15:51.Michael Dunlop, nine-tenths of the motorcycle! And on the back wheel.

:15:51. > :15:56.He is just trying to catch up. It is a three-way fight. Ian Lougher,

:15:56. > :16:00.Bruce Anstey. Something we have not mentioned, you never know with

:16:00. > :16:05.Bruce Anstey what you will get. He has brought his racing face to

:16:05. > :16:11.Ulster this week. He certainly has. That moment from Michael Dunlop has

:16:12. > :16:17.cost him one second. Conor Cummins, in the clear for a little bit.

:16:17. > :16:23.Dunlop, closing up already. Having an amazing race. On May 1st, 2001

:16:23. > :16:28.of the day. Bruce Anstey, trying to close them down. Ian Lougher, he

:16:28. > :16:35.was not the pace-setter at the front. He means business. He wants

:16:35. > :16:42.a place again. Ian Lougher, on that climb up to the Deer's Leap. And On

:16:42. > :16:47.the Run down. This right turn at the bottom is really fast. There is

:16:47. > :16:52.only one line through it but you try telling that to Michael Dunlop.

:16:52. > :17:00.Michael Dunlop, back on the case of Bruce Anstey. He passed around this

:17:00. > :17:07.point on the last lap. Fabulous, this left turn. He is through,

:17:07. > :17:12.Michael Dunlop just goes through. Bruce Anstey back to 4th place. He

:17:12. > :17:16.has done that twice, now. I would have to say, out of those, Michael

:17:16. > :17:21.Dunlop has got to be the favourite. He gave away one second, he has

:17:21. > :17:25.gone back to third place. Tell that to Ian Lougher. I think he will

:17:25. > :17:32.very soon. The mood he is in. The adrenalin will be coursing through

:17:32. > :17:36.his body. Here they come! He tried that as well. And there is no

:17:36. > :17:39.opening. I was going to say that Ian Lougher was leading but they

:17:39. > :17:46.must be side-by-side. Michael Dunlop will try to get through at

:17:46. > :17:51.the top. Ian Lougher on Guy Martin. He has not noticed Michael Dunlop

:17:51. > :17:55.running up the outside. He has got that line back. That is just

:17:55. > :17:59.pressure from Michael Dunlop. Just pressure and he has just letting

:17:59. > :18:02.Ian Lougher know that he is going to be coming through. A couple of

:18:02. > :18:06.years ago, Michael Dunlop might have gone through. He certainly

:18:06. > :18:13.held back. He knew there was nothing happening. Ian Lougher will

:18:13. > :18:18.not go up the inside, he isn't close enough. Conor Cummins will

:18:18. > :18:24.not want to look behind him, will he? With Lee Johnson behind him.

:18:24. > :18:28.The battle for 5th place. This is a battle for first place. A Ian

:18:28. > :18:36.Lougher almost touched the back of Guy Martin's bike. He did not find

:18:36. > :18:42.the opening he wanted. That hairpin has been very busy. Lee Johnson

:18:42. > :18:47.would have in his way out of that busy her pen. The men on the

:18:47. > :18:55.magnificent flying machines. Here comes Dunlop. Oh! That was very

:18:55. > :19:00.cheeky. He will not get through here. No way. He was thinking about

:19:00. > :19:05.sending it past Guy Martin in the same breath. He will have been very

:19:05. > :19:15.shortly. Very, very shortly. Across the line and he is close enough to

:19:15. > :19:21.pass them. And it is Dunlop, powering past Guy Martin. Ian

:19:21. > :19:26.Lougher, he isn't close enough. Still the same for people and the

:19:26. > :19:32.gap is the same. They are just changing places and that is a shame

:19:32. > :19:37.for William Dunlop. That is a big shame. He has conceded his 250 ride

:19:37. > :19:42.to have a goal in this one. You can only do five out of the six races.

:19:42. > :19:48.Ian Lougher won second place and he is now back in third place. It is

:19:48. > :19:55.all about the speed at the top. He looks like he is going... Martin

:19:55. > :20:01.will have to yield. At the top of Deer's Leap. Watch Guy Martin or

:20:01. > :20:06.perhaps Bruce Anstey. That is such a brave corner. To try that. Such

:20:06. > :20:15.an intimidating part of the circuit. Ian Lougher has been so aggressive,

:20:15. > :20:18.there. They all are. That one has just more intimidating than most.

:20:18. > :20:27.Conor Cummins looking back to Johnson in six days. He is all over

:20:27. > :20:33.the place. Michael Dunlop... Can he brake away from Ian Lougher?

:20:33. > :20:37.Probably not because Bruce Anstey is right at the back end of that

:20:37. > :20:41.group and Conor Cummins is trying to shake this off. He isn't riding

:20:41. > :20:49.like the rest of them, he seemed to be having more work to do, Lee

:20:49. > :20:53.Johnson. Pick your winner? Michael Dunlop has to be favourite, 4th,

:20:53. > :20:59.third, 4th, first... I would not like to tell any of those boys at

:20:59. > :21:06.Michael Dunlop was the favourite. Ian Lougher is sticking with him.

:21:06. > :21:12.Ian Lougher is very determined. Where did Ian Lougher find his race

:21:12. > :21:18.face? Amazing. Bruce Anstey has not raced for something like three

:21:18. > :21:23.months. He just switches on when he feels like it. More orderly around

:21:23. > :21:31.the Lynsey her pen. All taking the same line. Could drive out of the

:21:31. > :21:36.turn. Only one overtaking opportunity on this stretch. We

:21:37. > :21:42.have seen Michael Dunlop doing that already. We have seen a couple of

:21:42. > :21:46.overtaking moves along here and we have seen a couple that do not work.

:21:46. > :21:52.We have. That looks very significant from Michael Dunlop as

:21:52. > :21:56.we go back. Still with Michael Dunlop. Here they come. It is all

:21:56. > :22:01.about Leathemstown. The distance between the bikes. The Flying Kilo

:22:01. > :22:05.will be crucial. He has got to stay with Michael Dunlop. He is doing

:22:05. > :22:12.that at the moment but this that will stretch coming up... Dunlop

:22:12. > :22:17.was that the power. I am not convinced that third place has been

:22:17. > :22:26.settled. And neither his 5th place. The Johnson looking to Conor

:22:26. > :22:32.Cummins. Ian Lougher, stay with them. Good man. Five tenths, have

:22:32. > :22:36.the second between them. Almost one second back to Guy Martin from Ian

:22:36. > :22:41.Lougher. Here they come. This is very interesting. Guy Martin, he

:22:41. > :22:46.was looking very settled and back to his old self and now he is that

:22:46. > :22:53.Bruce Anstey, this unknown quantity, behind him. What will Bruce Anstey

:22:53. > :23:01.do? Look at Michael Dunlop! Taking it to the edge. The camera does not

:23:01. > :23:06.give the drop justice. It really does drop away. The right turn

:23:06. > :23:12.before it slows you down but then there is this vista over Belfast

:23:12. > :23:17.Lough and you think you have taken off. And we are looking down at

:23:17. > :23:22.Michael Dunlop leading from Ian Lougher. Here they come. That is a

:23:22. > :23:27.good rider a road bike. They just fly around there. Interesting to

:23:27. > :23:32.see the line from Ian Lougher. He had a very straight line. Ian

:23:32. > :23:40.Lougher was very direct out of that, he seemed to square up more. Dean

:23:40. > :23:43.Harrison. What a time he is having. Going great guns, here. Speaking of

:23:43. > :23:49.great guns. Ian Lougher looks behind him to make sure he isn't

:23:49. > :23:54.under attack. He still has not given up on Michael Dunlop. Know.

:23:54. > :23:58.Who would have thought that Ian Lougher, with so many victories in

:23:58. > :24:03.the past, the second most successful man behind Joey Dunlop

:24:03. > :24:09.around the circuit... The this morning, he read that he is in the

:24:09. > :24:14.twilight of his career. Oh, no, I am not! This is fantastic. So far,

:24:14. > :24:19.man of the meeting. Brilliant from Ian Lougher. Considering he has

:24:19. > :24:24.just turned 49. The man in front is half his age. And he can hardly

:24:24. > :24:32.walk. Dunlop is doing all those physical things that you have to do.

:24:32. > :24:35.How it he is doing that, I really don't know. And you would not know

:24:35. > :24:42.that he is in any pain at all or has any difficulty moving in his

:24:42. > :24:50.body. Dunlop, one more lap to go and he has pulled one second out of

:24:50. > :24:55.Ian Lougher. 1.6 seconds ahead. Two seconds ahead of Guy Martin. The

:24:55. > :24:58.Johnson is 7.5 seconds back in 5th place. It is all about Michael

:24:58. > :25:03.Dunlop. Guy Martin might think he has got third place sorted? He

:25:03. > :25:08.might be thinking this is all right, on the podium for the first race.

:25:08. > :25:14.But Bruce Anstey, you cannot rule him out. We know that. Ian Lougher

:25:14. > :25:19.has got to find that second that he lost. And he must get past Dunlop.

:25:19. > :25:22.We are looking at third place. Guy Martin is the one who has been

:25:22. > :25:28.racing more regularly than the other guys along with Michael

:25:28. > :25:33.Dunlop but he has been beating him at Armoy. I think Bruce Anstey

:25:33. > :25:39.could well sought out third place at the Linsey her pen. It will be

:25:39. > :25:48.interesting. Again and again. Ian Lougher. Look at them. And for

:25:48. > :25:54.staff, they have half a marker. Just sheer aggression. Unbelievable.

:25:54. > :26:00.Perhaps Guy Martin, perhaps he got away from Bruce Anstey. Connor, is

:26:00. > :26:06.looking to get past. It looked as though he was in the right place

:26:06. > :26:12.for it. Dunlop... He is in the right place. Shifting across the

:26:12. > :26:18.bike. You don't want to how the front will going up in the air. Get

:26:18. > :26:24.as much traction as you can. As much of the tyre on the track.

:26:24. > :26:28.is all about Drennan. Michael Dunlop. And hunger and desire and

:26:28. > :26:34.all those other things we have seen from Michael Dunlop in recent years.

:26:34. > :26:38.He needs a Drennan today. Doesn't he? That is all it can be that is

:26:38. > :26:42.keeping him going. Look at him. Just a little bit of showboating.

:26:42. > :26:49.He has controlled it. This is a message for everybody who is

:26:49. > :26:53.watching. Now he does it. Conor Cummins, good timing. Yes. Johnson.

:26:53. > :27:00.He is a star in the making, one to watch. His first time at the

:27:00. > :27:04.Dundrod meeting. And this is a gap back to second place. Ian Lougher.

:27:04. > :27:09.That was still tight. It looks like Guy Martin was pulling away from

:27:09. > :27:17.Bruce Anstey. Bruce Anstey is coming to get him. And Ian Lougher

:27:17. > :27:27.as well. This is just magnificent racing. From the top men in the

:27:27. > :27:32.

:27:32. > :27:36.world. You must remember that. mistakes from Dunlop or Lougher.

:27:36. > :27:40.Lougher looks round. I wonder what's going through his mind right

:27:40. > :27:49.now. Who'd have called second place? I would say Guy Martin

:27:50. > :27:59.hasn't got Bruce Anstey close enough. Dunlop will come to take

:28:00. > :28:00.

:28:00. > :28:10.the checkered flag. First win of the day. Iain Lougher, second in

:28:10. > :28:13.

:28:13. > :28:15.the superstocks. Guy Martin third say there's no-one here who as

:28:15. > :28:18.thrilled with that as Michael Dunlop.

:28:19. > :28:21.Congratulations, perfect start to Congratulations, perfect start to

:28:21. > :28:28.the day for you. Yeah good start. Nice to get a win. I made it hard

:28:28. > :28:35.for myself. I got a bad start. Then someone cut out, I nearly ran into

:28:35. > :28:43.the back of him. Then we lost the tow. The gearbox lever was Jacked.

:28:43. > :28:50.I had to pull that off. I want to try and save myself. I probably did

:28:50. > :28:53.133mph lap. I just got to the front and didn't want to ride too hard.

:28:53. > :29:02.That's an incredible 49th podium around this circuit for you?

:29:02. > :29:06.that right? Well, I feel old now. You rowed back the years nicely.

:29:06. > :29:12.It's nice to get a good start. It shuts people up when they say

:29:12. > :29:18.you're too old. It prove that's the old boys can still do it. He's just

:29:18. > :29:22.about made it up the steps. Michael Dunlop on top of the podium for the

:29:22. > :29:29.fourth time at the Ulster Grand Prix.

:29:29. > :29:33.The Dunlop brothers are on the front row of this supersports race.

:29:33. > :29:37.Michael took the checkered flag twice last year, after passing his

:29:37. > :29:43.brother on the hairpin on the final lap on two obgsz. William is in

:29:44. > :29:47.pole position today. What will the pole position today. What will the

:29:47. > :29:52.tactics be? It should be intriguing. No love lost between brothers,

:29:52. > :30:02.that's the tactics. Look at the quality of that whole front row and

:30:02. > :30:11.

:30:11. > :30:18.shoulder. William Dunlop has the fastest 600 out there. He is the

:30:18. > :30:22.favourite. Gary Johnson coming off. He was on the front row of the grid.

:30:22. > :30:29.That's a big disappointment already. The body language looked unhappy.

:30:29. > :30:35.We're under way. Bruce Anstey with a cracking start. So does William

:30:35. > :30:40.Dunlop.. This is the Flying Kilo. It's eye of the needle stuff.

:30:40. > :30:48.William Dunlop leads them. Anstey looking over his shoulder. Where's

:30:48. > :30:53.Michael? Fifth place. The next wave gets under way. Paul Owen there.

:30:53. > :30:59.Let's look at the front. It is William Dunlop from Bruce Anstey.

:30:59. > :31:07.We're still changing places. Olie Linsdell just gone past. What a

:31:07. > :31:17.sight this is. They snake their way around on the power. Behind Olie

:31:17. > :31:23.Linsdell as we are now, looking for all the world in those laerges.

:31:23. > :31:28.a bit slimmer. It's Bruce Anstey again in second place. They come

:31:28. > :31:32.over Deer's Leap. Now Bruce Anstey can turn it on, oh, look at that!

:31:32. > :31:36.Lee Johnston. All over the place. I'm amazed. Lee Johnston what a

:31:36. > :31:43.start from him. Fourth position on the opening lap. Back behind Olie

:31:43. > :31:49.Linsdell. William Dunlop, Bruce Anstey and look behind. Conor

:31:49. > :31:55.Cummins. Yes the renowned supersport 600 rider. Third place

:31:55. > :32:03.for him. Two metre man. He's aerodynamically unsuited to00s.

:32:03. > :32:07.is. Guy Martin a poor start for hem. Behind Olie Linsdell trying to drag

:32:07. > :32:14.up behind him, trying to sweep inside. Won't get through on that

:32:14. > :32:17.occasion. Maybe set him up for the next corner though. Everybody

:32:17. > :32:22.through Wheeler's. William Dunlop tucked down hard with Bruce Anstey

:32:22. > :32:26.riding the rear wheel. Conor Cummins. Lee Johnston still.

:32:26. > :32:31.Michael Dunlop peeling away at the back in fifth place. Down to the

:32:31. > :32:34.Lindsay hairpin we go. Anstey staying with William Dunlop.

:32:35. > :32:38.This is where he came under pressure last year. He'll remember

:32:38. > :32:48.exactly what Michael did by going up the inside there. He's got that

:32:48. > :32:49.

:32:49. > :32:56.well and truly closed, that door. He has. A little bit wide. Olie

:32:56. > :33:00.Linsdell gets inside edge. Both of them moving up. Here comes Bruce

:33:00. > :33:03.Anstey though. He won't get through there.

:33:03. > :33:08.Bruce Anstey getting in position for a run down the kilo, you'd

:33:08. > :33:12.think. As we start the second lap: He's perfectly poised. He's in the

:33:12. > :33:18.right position. You have to be with the rider when you cross the line.

:33:18. > :33:22.Is he close enough? He could popblly do with another -- possibly

:33:22. > :33:29.do with another bike length closer. I think he might have lost ground

:33:29. > :33:33.in Dawson's. He's right back on him. That's not what he wanted. He needs

:33:33. > :33:40.to be almost on his shoulder. He needs to be able to reach out and

:33:40. > :33:50.touch his exhaust. If he's got that, he'll get past along the kilo.

:33:50. > :33:51.

:33:51. > :33:54.a right turn here and then the run up the hill. Dearsly, what do you

:33:54. > :34:01.think? That bike in a straight line will be the fastest machine out

:34:01. > :34:06.there. Craig's bike is super fast. Bruce Anstey will have to use nip

:34:07. > :34:11.and tuck, get him on the -- on the brakes. Look how fast William

:34:12. > :34:18.Dunlop is on that bike. It really is super quick. Bruce Anstey knows

:34:18. > :34:22.a thing or two about race craft and Padgett's build the bike as well.

:34:22. > :34:27.Theirs won't be too slow. One line through here, as we've seen so many

:34:27. > :34:30.times. Get it right and you will make a bit of time. The fans urging

:34:30. > :34:34.on their hero. They've broken away completely. This is the 600 race

:34:34. > :34:40.and look at the gap between second and third place. They are just

:34:40. > :34:44.moving away. Adrian Archibald can't get in touch with Olie Linsdell.

:34:44. > :34:47.He's almost two seconds behind the leaders at the end of the first lap.

:34:47. > :34:53.Johnston was almost a second further back in fourth. It's all

:34:53. > :34:56.about these two. Anstey in the slipstream. Slipstream, yeah.

:34:56. > :35:01.William Dunlop will be feeling Anstey behind him, pulling him back.

:35:01. > :35:07.It's physics, it's the law of physics. Once they're through

:35:07. > :35:12.Jordan's Cross I don't think there's anywhere, see look, this

:35:12. > :35:16.pass shouldn't really work there. Once they're past Jordan's Cross I

:35:16. > :35:22.don't think there's anywhere for Anstey to get past. William knows

:35:22. > :35:28.he's that close. Bruce Anstey has to get close to William dun lon at

:35:28. > :35:32.the hairpin. If he can roll up behind Dunlop, he can maybe find a

:35:32. > :35:36.way through. On the slower parts of the track that's where Bruce Anstey

:35:36. > :35:40.might be able to do something. had a foot off there. Yes, he d.

:35:40. > :35:46.That shows how much he's trying. He's got to stay with Dunlop. He's

:35:46. > :35:50.not close enough out of the turn. Battling for third place Lee

:35:50. > :35:56.Johnston, fourth place behind Conor Cummins. Stunning. Michael Dunlop

:35:56. > :36:02.hasn't been super in on the 600s. Archibald scrapping it out with

:36:02. > :36:07.Ollie Lynn lib. Michael Dunlop is probably hurting from the last race.

:36:07. > :36:11.Yes. This is crucial for Anstey. He's got to be with Dunlop on his

:36:11. > :36:17.shoulder. The battle for third place. Lee Johnston, that's

:36:17. > :36:23.brilliant still. He's having a good day. These two are as well. He's

:36:23. > :36:28.close enough. Yes he's close enough Anstey. Here they are. They come

:36:28. > :36:37.and perhaps this could be a moment for Anstey as well. They'll go

:36:37. > :36:43.through Rock Bends. He's drawing up and here we go. William shuts him

:36:43. > :36:48.off Sometimes you might be able to gain a bit more but you have to

:36:48. > :36:53.brake harder. William will be braking before Bruce, then Williams

:36:53. > :36:55.back on the power while Bruce is breaking. The Ulsters have a lot.

:36:55. > :37:00.Especially the last part of combination corners, what you did

:37:00. > :37:05.in one affects the next one. If you fend off an attack very often you

:37:05. > :37:11.lose it on the next corner. Oh, Adrian Archibald is off. He's

:37:11. > :37:19.upright and he'll go back on, will he? A couple of places given away.

:37:19. > :37:23.Archibald was trying hard. Bruce Anstey is hard to catch William

:37:23. > :37:28.Dunlop now. This is the moment again with Adrian Archibald. Oh, he

:37:28. > :37:32.missed a gear. Yes. He got a neutral or did he pull the clutch

:37:32. > :37:37.and panic? Could well have done. We've all done that before. Bruce

:37:37. > :37:42.Anstey sticking with William Dunlop. We can read this one or two ways -

:37:42. > :37:45.he's either sizing him up. Stalking him. Yes or he just can't get past

:37:45. > :37:49.him. It's one or the other. can't tell from the outside. We're

:37:49. > :37:53.going to find out shortly folks. Here comes Bruce then and has he

:37:53. > :37:58.got the speed in the slipstream to pass going up through Jordan's

:37:58. > :38:02.Cross. I don't think so. The answer is no. They go through the top of

:38:02. > :38:06.the circuit. Bruce, looking back, was he looking down? He had his

:38:06. > :38:11.foot off the pegs before. I wonder if he has a problem down there or

:38:11. > :38:15.was he checking that he's free to do what he likes to get past Dunlop.

:38:15. > :38:20.That was Guy Martin closing in on the battle for third. There he is.

:38:20. > :38:24.We can see him at the back. Lee Johnston, is he having a look? Yeah

:38:24. > :38:29.he is. He goes through. If he can turn it in time and hold the line.

:38:29. > :38:34.No, he can't. Oh, it's a little bit. He did sit up. He's done it. That

:38:34. > :38:40.is brave stuff. But will he be too deep into the hairpin? I tell you

:38:40. > :38:43.what, if he got that turned on the second part without giving the pace

:38:44. > :38:52.back, he can stop for the hairpin. That was very, very... Oh, rider

:38:52. > :38:57.down! That's Michael Pearson. looked like a high side. Oh, and

:38:57. > :39:04.red flag. He looked as if he was up and walking away from that. They

:39:04. > :39:09.like to get up quickly. It's a natural instinct. Watch the back

:39:09. > :39:14.wheel. It spits him off. He was lucky not to be ridden over as well.

:39:14. > :39:17.He slides along the grass. That will hurt, but luckily not too much.

:39:17. > :39:21.I think the bike has come off worse than the rider thankfully. The red

:39:21. > :39:25.flag means the end of the race. We give the result as a count back to

:39:25. > :39:28.the end of lap three. That means third for Johnston.

:39:28. > :39:30.That means third for Johnston. Dunlop edging out Anstey. After the

:39:30. > :39:35.disappointment of both of supersport races last year, when

:39:35. > :39:42.you were pipped on the final lap, nice way to make up for it? Yeah,

:39:42. > :39:48.and a nice way to get the first Ulster one as well. It's been a

:39:48. > :39:52.good year. Just glad I could make it up to him because he spent a lot

:39:52. > :39:57.of money. Great ride, how was that for you? It was brilliant, like,

:39:57. > :40:02.first time here. I didn't expect to be on the podium. But bike's flying.

:40:02. > :40:07.It makes my job easy. Big thanks to the team. Also we just rent today

:40:07. > :40:15.for this weekend, so it's paid off, hasn't it? Say that again. He takes

:40:15. > :40:20.his place on the podium with the winner of that race, William Dunlop.

:40:20. > :40:26.So the Dunlops dominate the first two races, but who will win the

:40:26. > :40:29.next one? The blue-riband Ulster Grand Prix superbike. With me knows

:40:29. > :40:34.all about winning it in the past. Who's your money on? This is a hard

:40:34. > :40:38.one. The fastest man around this track is Bruce Anstey, at just

:40:38. > :40:41.under 134mph. Last year's second fastest man round the track the

:40:41. > :40:47.winner of superbike race was Guy Martin. But the fastest man this

:40:47. > :40:52.week so far is Michael Dunlop at 133mph, when he won the Dundrod 150

:40:52. > :40:57.race this week. Deep down I think my money might be on Michael.

:40:57. > :41:02.Martin may not have won an international race but he knows how

:41:02. > :41:06.to win on a big bike round here. sure does. He's had six super bike

:41:06. > :41:11.wins round here. Is he the Dark Horse or the favourite? We'll have

:41:11. > :41:17.to wait and see. Guy Martin is in to wait and see. Guy Martin is in

:41:17. > :41:20.pole position. My money is on anybody on the front row. You could

:41:20. > :41:24.be right. The thing to remember Guy Martin has not beaten Michael

:41:24. > :41:29.Dunlop since the opening race at Cookstown. That was back in April.

:41:29. > :41:33.That was in some what controversial circumstances. Since then Michael

:41:33. > :41:36.Dunlop has been beating him on the track and mentally. Yes Michael

:41:37. > :41:41.Dunlop goes to the start line armed with a kind of aura that puts a lot

:41:41. > :41:45.of on the back foot. I'm sure that he uses that as part of his race

:41:45. > :41:49.craft. He's also, he was injured a couple of weeks ago. He had the

:41:49. > :41:53.same injury and he was beating Guy Martin then. It's going to be

:41:53. > :42:00.interesting how Guy Martin reacts. He loves this circuit. He loves to

:42:00. > :42:07.get away quickly as he has done. Farquhar got the start as well.

:42:07. > :42:12.has, but Guy Martin he's, as we go with Michael Dunlop going through.

:42:12. > :42:16.He wants to get close to Guy Martin. Anstey and Farquhar aren't letting

:42:16. > :42:20.him. That was such a busy start. He were looking all over the place for

:42:20. > :42:25.a way to get through. Ryan Farquhar came off the other side of the

:42:25. > :42:32.front row looking very strong indeed in second place now. Here

:42:32. > :42:35.comes the runaway train. On board with William Dunlop. It's Anstey

:42:35. > :42:39.behind Dunlop. It's Gary Johnston behind Farquhar. He is yet to

:42:39. > :42:44.really have the day that he was hoping for here at Dundrod. Now

:42:44. > :42:54.he's doing something about it. Farquhar is closing up on Martin

:42:54. > :42:59.

:42:59. > :43:05.under the in the slipstream. We're And the new Tyco Suzuki by

:43:05. > :43:10.$:/STARTFEED. Michael Dunlop, riding in 4th place. Gary Johnson

:43:10. > :43:20.going past Ryan Farquhar? He has had that Superstock regime. Now he

:43:20. > :43:21.

:43:21. > :43:25.has got a fully loaded Superbike. The rest of them just were not away.

:43:25. > :43:35.That was a front rows start going back into row number two. Just look

:43:35. > :43:36.

:43:36. > :43:41.how busy he was. The Flying Kilo. Shoulder to shoulder. Once again.

:43:41. > :43:47.Out in front, that band, Guy Martin. Michael Dunlop has got Bruce Anstey

:43:47. > :43:53.with him as well, going towards Ryan Farquhar. He could be a fly in

:43:53. > :43:59.the ointment for everyone else. Michael Dunlop? Yes, Dunlop goes

:43:59. > :44:07.through to third place. Bruce Anstey will try to join him. Bruce

:44:07. > :44:12.Anstey isn't close enough. He had such high hopes, he has gone really

:44:12. > :44:17.well on the superbikes of light. John Burrows loses a place. They

:44:17. > :44:21.are really scratching around there. Bruce Anstey behind, going back

:44:21. > :44:26.with Michael Dunlop, looking at these men, these are his big

:44:26. > :44:32.targets. This is the race that everybody wants to win, this is the

:44:32. > :44:37.Ulster Grand Prix. John Burrows, it isn't happening for him in this one.

:44:37. > :44:42.Guy Martin is the man setting the pace, Dunlop trying to brake away.

:44:42. > :44:49.You spot that. Chris Anstey will get Ryan Farquhar up the inside.

:44:49. > :44:59.Bruce Anstey will be in 4th place. Gary Johnson has gone through to

:44:59. > :45:03.take the lead. After that nest start earlier on. This has been

:45:03. > :45:10.separate from both Gary Johnson and, on the back wheel as its power, Guy

:45:10. > :45:17.Martin. Guy Martin have made -- must have made a little mistake. He

:45:17. > :45:23.has dropped way back. Padgett's Honda, they prove themselves

:45:23. > :45:31.quicker round here. They are going well again. Coming up to complete

:45:31. > :45:36.the first lap of the Ulster Grand Prix, 2012. Guy Martin in second

:45:36. > :45:41.place, behind that Padgett's Honda. Early days. Bruce Anstey will get

:45:41. > :45:48.past Ryan Farquhar. Guy Martin is close enough. The Flying Kilo, Guy

:45:48. > :45:54.Martin. He will try to take back some places. That was very brave.

:45:54. > :45:59.Guy Martin, out in front. Just over The Flying Kilo, the track really

:45:59. > :46:08.narrows and as long as you're on this shoulder, you will fly past.

:46:08. > :46:12.And he needs to brake. John Burrows. He completes his opening lap. And

:46:12. > :46:17.loses another case. John Burrows really not enjoying his Ulster

:46:17. > :46:21.Grand Prix. Nobody likes being overtaken. It just seems to be

:46:21. > :46:26.happening as easily as that with John Burrows. The gap over the

:46:26. > :46:31.line... And again. They might explain why we did not see William

:46:31. > :46:39.flying off at the start. That is such a shame. In the paddock,

:46:39. > :46:46.permanently. Guy Martin, still has Gary Johnson behind him. Over the

:46:46. > :46:50.line. Michael Dunlop one second behind. Michael Dunlop, we have

:46:50. > :46:54.seen him doing this so many times this season. Not the best of starts

:46:54. > :47:02.but he more than makes up for it. I don't know if those men have got

:47:02. > :47:11.boards in front of them. That is it for him. William Dunlop. Michael

:47:11. > :47:18.Dunlop, he was a little bit close. He is closing down. So, up to the

:47:18. > :47:24.very highest point of the Dundrod circuit. They will have boards that

:47:24. > :47:29.say, look over your shoulder! Martin from Gary Johnson. Very

:47:29. > :47:38.windy, as well. We will not be on for any record-breaking pace. The

:47:39. > :47:48.windows quite brittle on this part of the circuit. That's is fabulous.

:47:49. > :47:51.

:47:51. > :47:56.And this corner goes on forever. Clockers corner. Oh! So, then.

:47:56. > :48:00.Michael Dunlop is going to close in on Gary Johnson and Guy Martin must

:48:00. > :48:05.hope that they will become involved with one another, giving him the

:48:05. > :48:09.impetus for the chance to pull away from the back. Michael Dunlop knows

:48:09. > :48:14.that he has to get past Gary Johnson and he does not need to be

:48:14. > :48:22.involved in a long fight, he just needs to pounce. Tucked in behind,

:48:22. > :48:25.he will be stuck there. That was great. Johnson and Martin. Dunlop

:48:25. > :48:31.messed it up slightly. He is struggling to pick up the Superbike

:48:31. > :48:35.and get it around that hairpin, so no wonder they made it around.

:48:35. > :48:40.Amazingly, Michael Dunlop says he feels more comfortable on his

:48:41. > :48:49.Superbike and the Supersport. It is the other way around. It does not

:48:50. > :48:54.really affect him, as we can say. Nothing affects Michael Dunlop. How

:48:54. > :48:59.is he hanging off the bike like that? Over the line we go. Gary

:48:59. > :49:05.Johnson is going to start. Ian Lougher, Michael Dunlop. He gets

:49:05. > :49:11.through. This is what you were talking about. Here he goes. Dunlop

:49:11. > :49:16.into second place. He was just close enough to make that move. Guy

:49:16. > :49:21.Martin ahead at the end of that lap. Well... That target for tonight -

:49:21. > :49:29.Guy Martin. Guy Martin, do not look over your shoulder! Michael is

:49:29. > :49:34.coming to get to! Do not discount Gary Johnson. Still very fresh.

:49:34. > :49:40.Further back, Bruce Anstey, behind Conor Cummins. The battle for 4th

:49:40. > :49:43.place. The battle at the front is now becoming a battle. Going

:49:43. > :49:53.forwards, Guy Martin will find himself with Michael Dunlop right

:49:53. > :49:55.

:49:55. > :49:58.behind him. Deer's Leap, through Cochranstown and then Quarterlands.

:49:58. > :50:03.The this Israel circuit racing stuff. One of the reasons Guy

:50:03. > :50:10.Martin enjoys the said it so much. It is a circuit. It is everybody

:50:10. > :50:15.coming here for the road racing. One of the best tracks in the world.

:50:15. > :50:20.Farewell, Gary Johnson. Carry on! Michael Dunlop has bought himself

:50:20. > :50:30.right up behind to go racing with Guy Martin. Watch them at Jordan's

:50:30. > :50:31.

:50:32. > :50:39.Cross because they can get that slipstream. Guy Martin has to have

:50:39. > :50:45.a plan. Just an Borders... This is Bruce Anstey's old bike. He has got

:50:45. > :50:52.its singing. They all looked down underneath that hoist. Here he

:50:52. > :50:57.comes. He is right up there. Look at Guy Martin, his back will, his

:50:57. > :51:03.backside shaking. He moves one of his cheeks across the bike.

:51:03. > :51:06.cannot steal those large bikes with you're bomb. That is why I'm amazed

:51:06. > :51:16.that Michael Dunlop can shift is around. He is sizing Guy Martin up

:51:16. > :51:22.

:51:22. > :51:26.in all the wrong places. Working up to this version of the Loup at

:51:26. > :51:33.Donington Park. You must get around with quick stage. As we can say

:51:33. > :51:38.with Guy Martin. Where are you, Michael Dunlop? All the way around

:51:38. > :51:44.that hairpin. He was afraid of being done up there. He was

:51:44. > :51:49.expecting this. He did very well defensively. She looked behind him.

:51:49. > :51:56.Alonso that he was still there. So, then. Look at the speed he is

:51:57. > :52:03.carrying. Carrying so much speed. Guy Martin sliding his back wheel.

:52:03. > :52:09.Game on, folks. Over the line they go. Imagine that. Just sliding the

:52:09. > :52:14.back wheel. Around the roads of northern Ireland. Here he comes.

:52:14. > :52:19.Not expecting him there. He was not expecting it anywhere. Michael

:52:19. > :52:23.Dunlop. Michael Dunlop goes through. Four-tenths was the difference on

:52:23. > :52:28.the previous lap but Michael Dunlop is the new leader. Connor,

:52:29. > :52:34.$:/STARTFEED. And Bruce Anstey, the battle for 4th place. The battle

:52:34. > :52:38.for the late. And that will be a battle. Guy Martin will not give up.

:52:38. > :52:44.We have seen Michael Dunlop going past ones at that you start to move

:52:45. > :52:52.away. The choice at the start of the stress. And he was mine. I

:52:52. > :52:58.chose everyone. Look at Guy Martin. Really closing up on Michael Dunlop.

:52:58. > :53:03.Plenty of top end. Deer's Leap. That is just a very big corner at

:53:03. > :53:07.the top. And they were so close together. Michael Dunlop, Guy

:53:07. > :53:15.Martin and who is behind? Gary Johnson was 1.5 seconds behind in

:53:15. > :53:19.third place. And this is Bruce Anstey. Michael Dunlop... And

:53:19. > :53:26.Martin will stay with him. Positioning the bike for the

:53:26. > :53:32.corners. As defensively as he can. He takes it down and flies through

:53:32. > :53:40.here. They same body language. Through there. Scraping through

:53:40. > :53:50.there. And Guy Martin, try and use that slipstream up the hill to draw

:53:50. > :53:54.

:53:54. > :54:01.alongside. Is he close enough? Has she hit back? They definitely

:54:01. > :54:09.touched. Those bikes came together. That was as close as it is ever

:54:09. > :54:19.going to be. A, no, you don't. have seen him do this loads of

:54:19. > :54:19.

:54:19. > :54:27.times. The Guy Martin just got mugged. Anything you can do.

:54:27. > :54:35.Martin goes through. This is too big a corner to start doing this

:54:35. > :54:41.stuff. Michael Dunlop might just be patient. He will know that Michael

:54:41. > :54:50.Dunlop will be looking for a way past. Michael Dunlop following in.

:54:51. > :54:57.So late on the brakes. Oh, dear. He came off. Guy Martin was all over

:54:57. > :55:05.the place. I dunno if he was reacting. Michael Dunlop goes down.

:55:06. > :55:15.He took it to the limit. Guy Martin somehow managed to stay on. And

:55:16. > :55:25.

:55:26. > :55:35.that led thing Michael Dunlop... He fell off. Who would have predicted

:55:36. > :55:43.

:55:43. > :55:47.this. He predicted a great race and colour, is to sing and Bruce Anstey.

:55:47. > :55:52.Great sunshine and Great crowds. More people than I have ever seen

:55:52. > :55:57.in a long time. And such a shame that that battle at the front had

:55:57. > :56:02.to end with one of the riders in the dirt. At the Lynsey hairpin but

:56:02. > :56:04.if you are going to fall off, it is nice and gentle but how nice to

:56:05. > :56:12.have one more lap like that? I don't really think there was

:56:12. > :56:17.another lap left. Michael Dunlop managed to carry on. He is mobile

:56:17. > :56:26.again. He is found. He looks fine. Let us see if he has done any

:56:26. > :56:32.damage to his back. John Burrows, looking down... He was injured

:56:32. > :56:42.before the start of that. He might well have hurt himself. Even worse.

:56:42. > :56:48.Guy Martin, amongst the traffic. No blue flags. Here he comes. The

:56:48. > :56:54.biggest grain at Dundrod right down. It will belong to Guy Martin.

:56:54. > :57:03.was almost caught out. He did not see him and the crowd. That was it.

:57:03. > :57:13.Excellent second place. How happy is Guy Martin I heard that

:57:13. > :57:16.

:57:16. > :57:24.scratching and banging. I thought, all right. Just steady it up. Happy.

:57:24. > :57:30.Gary, happy to be on the Supermac podium? Yes, I have had some issues

:57:30. > :57:34.this weekend. And I wanted to go out there and I came out of bed the

:57:34. > :57:38.right way. I had to watch Michael coming past and Guy Martin and

:57:39. > :57:44.gently disappearing. The father- and-son team, they will be

:57:44. > :57:50.delighted to see those boys on the podium. Through races and three

:57:50. > :57:54.different winners. Could not have been better. So superb day. That

:57:54. > :57:59.was a super 600 race and that was a great Superstock race and an even

:57:59. > :58:03.better Superbike race. Superb win from Guy Martin, unfortunate for

:58:03. > :58:09.Michael Dunlop but he was trying. We will have lots more tomorrow
