:00:41. > :00:43.Hello and welcome back to Glasgow and further coverage
:00:44. > :00:54.of the 2014 Commonwealth Games. We have some wonderful sport lined
:00:55. > :00:59.up. of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
:01:00. > :01:03.This is what's coming up between now and 3pm.
:01:04. > :01:07.We're heading to the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome for track cycling and
:01:08. > :01:12.the men's team pursuit - featuring that man, Bradley Wiggins.
:01:13. > :01:20.Cracking start to the women's hockey as England take on Wales.
:01:21. > :01:25.We'll be at the SECC for the judo - all eyes on England's Ashley
:01:26. > :01:26.McKenzie. And we'll be
:01:27. > :01:27.building up towards the men's triathlon at 3pm
:01:28. > :01:43.with the fabulous Brownlee brothers. Lots going on today. The second
:01:44. > :01:51.netball match is underway, Australia versus Wales. That is online, along
:01:52. > :02:01.with rhythmic gymnastics, lawn bowls, table tennis, and squash. So
:02:02. > :02:07.much choice, where do you start? We start with the track cycling from
:02:08. > :02:13.the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. The men's team pursuit. Australia are
:02:14. > :02:18.the world champions and defending Commonwealth champions. But England
:02:19. > :02:29.are pretty handy also. Especially with this man in the saddle. My
:02:30. > :02:36.first memories were of a velodrome. I feel like I was born to right
:02:37. > :02:50.track. It all started for me in Kuala Lumpur will -- at the
:02:51. > :02:54.Commonwealth Games. It is starting to feel like we are now approaching
:02:55. > :03:04.the Games and getting closer. You get nostalgic. 16 years ago in Kuala
:03:05. > :03:11.Lumpur I was 18. It was a big deal, going away with senior riders you
:03:12. > :03:24.look up to. Seeing all these great Olympians that came. It had a
:03:25. > :03:32.massive impression on me at 18. He is a great talent, he could soon be
:03:33. > :03:36.a serious medal contender... I never imagined years ago I would achieve
:03:37. > :03:45.all of this will stop I got a bronze medal in Sydney. I thought, if I
:03:46. > :03:56.never do anything again, I have got an Olympic medal. Everything else
:03:57. > :04:03.would be a bonus. Then after the tour and London 2012, I was a bit
:04:04. > :04:05.fed up with cycling. It meant a lot people coming up and saying it
:04:06. > :04:11.changed their lives, the Bradley Wiggins factor, there have been
:04:12. > :04:16.times I wish I never done all that. I'll left for France relatively
:04:17. > :04:24.unknown and came back feeling like the most famous man in the country.
:04:25. > :04:35.Don't get me wrong. We milked it for a week or two. Some of the best
:04:36. > :04:42.nights, I will never forget being at the Stone Roses concert and meeting
:04:43. > :04:45.people who knew who you were. Meeting Paul Weller at Hammersmith
:04:46. > :04:59.Apollo, there were lots of perks, don't get me wrong. If I to compete
:05:00. > :05:03.with this team in Rio, which I want, I do not want to take it for granted
:05:04. > :05:09.that you can just come back in after a couple of weeks preparation. So
:05:10. > :05:13.thinking about where I going into years time, I am putting all my
:05:14. > :05:20.focus on that. They Commonwealth Games gold is one of the few things
:05:21. > :05:25.missing from my collection. When I was 18 was just all happening for
:05:26. > :05:34.me, only starting. So it just takes me back there a little bit. I think,
:05:35. > :05:42.we have the last 16 years gone? Great to see him in Glasgow. This is
:05:43. > :05:45.the only event he has taken part in. Qualification for the final began
:05:46. > :05:53.earlier today. Let's bring you up to date. Finishing in the third and
:05:54. > :06:01.fourth, New Zealand and Canada respectively. They will battle for
:06:02. > :06:10.the bronze medal. Let's see who will compete for gold.
:06:11. > :06:20.Seven time Olympic medallist. Six times a world champion on the track.
:06:21. > :06:26.Three silver medals in his career from the Commonwealth Games. Never a
:06:27. > :06:38.Commonwealth champion. He has won everything else including of course
:06:39. > :06:44.the Tour de France. Steven Burke and Ed Clancy also on the team. Andy
:06:45. > :06:50.Tennant won the world title for Great Britain in the team pursuit,
:06:51. > :06:52.there he is, in 2012. It is a strong team.
:06:53. > :07:06.Extremely strong. Bradley Wiggins has put everything
:07:07. > :07:18.into this one event. 16 laps of the track. He is back on the boards. He
:07:19. > :07:23.has started and fourth, the easiest position to start in, but Clancy has
:07:24. > :07:35.taken up the start, he is always they -- there are start man. It is a
:07:36. > :07:41.huge effort, but it does save time, you save on bike lengths. About a
:07:42. > :07:47.10th of a second every time you change over. Clancy is such a strong
:07:48. > :07:53.rider. Burke taking over at the front. Bags of experience in this
:07:54. > :08:00.quartet, and not just from Bradley Wiggins.
:08:01. > :08:09.Andy Tennant now, a former junior world champion, taking it up. Now
:08:10. > :08:14.Bradley Wiggins takes over. On the front for the first time. Looking
:08:15. > :08:23.comfortable, smooth and fluid on the bike. Almost floating. She has done
:08:24. > :08:45.a lap and is now coming into a lap and a quarter -- he. A nice start.
:08:46. > :08:52.We are back with Clancy. The fastest time so far. Just having to squeeze
:08:53. > :09:01.a little bit down the back straight. Just a 10th of the lap
:09:02. > :09:14.schedule. They are there or thereabouts. Andy Tennant taking his
:09:15. > :09:30.turn. The halfway mark in the men's pursuit qualifying. They wrote a
:09:31. > :09:37.3-59 in training last week. -- rode. Let's see how they freshened
:09:38. > :09:48.up. Bradley Wiggins doing another big turn on the front. Very calm and
:09:49. > :09:56.collected. He looks focused. Not distracted by individual pursuits or
:09:57. > :10:06.time trials. He wants to settle back into this team pursuit squad. Superb
:10:07. > :10:18.from Wiggins. Nice change as well, straight on the back. Clancy just
:10:19. > :10:26.walking a little bit, trying to soak up that start effort. But he is
:10:27. > :10:32.nicely in the slipstream. Just struggling. He is out now. They are
:10:33. > :10:42.down to three. Down to the core group. Tennant on the front. Wiggins
:10:43. > :10:49.right behind him. Clancy, two-time Olympic champion, in the middle.
:10:50. > :10:53.They come up to take the Bell. Bradley Wiggins will take the Bell,
:10:54. > :11:02.will he continue and do the whole lap? No. Clancy is leading them now.
:11:03. > :11:07.Here they come into the finishing straight. A good strong ride and an
:11:08. > :11:14.excellent return to the track for Bradley Wiggins. They brake the
:11:15. > :11:19.four-minute barrier in the 4000 metres team pursuit. Burke, Clancy,
:11:20. > :11:42.Tennant, Wiggins. A fine ride. Away they go. 16 laps. If it goes to
:11:43. > :12:00.form, Australia will make it to the final.
:12:01. > :12:09.Glenn O'Shea on a huge dealer. -- gear. Such a talented young squad.
:12:10. > :12:27.On the front, Edmondson, double world champion, Ruth Davidson now
:12:28. > :12:49.taking over. Technically superb. Incredible to watch. The only
:12:50. > :12:59.problem they may face is that for -- keeping a lid on Borridge's speed,
:13:00. > :13:11.he really could tear apart the whole team. They look so good. The coach
:13:12. > :13:18.just giving them visual and audio. Just shouting at them. Australia
:13:19. > :13:30.well up on England and everybody else. Nine laps to go.
:13:31. > :13:37.Very clean riding at the moment by Australia. From what we have seen,
:13:38. > :13:37.this is team pursuit team at its best.
:13:38. > :13:45.It really is. The Australians, best.
:13:46. > :13:49.whether they have the speed is debatable at times. Generally not.
:13:50. > :13:54.But, technically, absolutely fantastic.
:13:55. > :14:00.A bit like Sir Bradley Wiggins coming back into the line-up, Jack
:14:01. > :14:04.Bobridge has settled in, as if he has never been away.
:14:05. > :14:08.It would have been quite an easy transition for Bradley Wiggins,
:14:09. > :14:15.certainly for Bobridge. These guys have sent -- spent so much of their
:14:16. > :14:22.careers on the track. Once you have got it, it is like riding a bike,
:14:23. > :14:26.you never forget! 1.5 seconds quicker than England.
:14:27. > :14:29.They know how to measure their effort, they know the time they need
:14:30. > :14:34.to do. They have gone back down on their
:14:35. > :14:38.schedule. The coach is walking towards them. They have backed off.
:14:39. > :14:44.They are riding well within themselves as it stands.
:14:45. > :14:50.Despite the expression on Alex Edmondson's face.
:14:51. > :14:53.It is oversimplifying it a little saying they are riding well within
:14:54. > :14:59.themselves. Often it is easier to stay on your schedule, especially if
:15:00. > :15:04.you are riding a big gear. As you come back off it, if you are geared
:15:05. > :15:08.up to go quicker, you go slower, the gear comes back at you. Like driving
:15:09. > :15:12.in fifth gear when you should be enforced.
:15:13. > :15:17.They will take the bell, the next time they will be on the finishing
:15:18. > :15:22.straight. There is not much in it. It is impossible to judge how much
:15:23. > :15:26.this Australian team have. As we have said, they know the type to
:15:27. > :15:31.beat and what they have to do to get into the final. They looked really
:15:32. > :15:39.smooth, really strong. They are the world champions.
:15:40. > :15:45.A superb ride. Australia will take some beating later on today. It will
:15:46. > :15:48.be Australia against England for gold and medal in the men's team
:15:49. > :15:53.pursuit. Confirmation of the qualifying
:15:54. > :15:57.times. They race against England in the final.
:15:58. > :16:07.New Zealand will be up against Canada for bronze.
:16:08. > :16:10.A very tasty final. Moving away from the team pursuit.
:16:11. > :16:13.Jason Kenny is the Olympic champion in the men's sprint, and is looking
:16:14. > :16:16.to bounce back here in Glasgow after a disappointing World
:16:17. > :16:24.He has made an OK start today, having to come through the
:16:25. > :16:29.repechage, beating Callum Skinner by a whisker. He remains on course for
:16:30. > :16:31.the final. There's a packed schedule
:16:32. > :16:34.at the velodrome later today. In the women's 500m time trial
:16:35. > :16:36.at around 16:40, Anna Meares,
:16:37. > :16:37.the undisputed queen of Australian track cycling, will be competing
:16:38. > :16:40.in her fourth Commonwealths. With no Vicky Pendleton around,
:16:41. > :16:42.can England's Jess Varnish take Then, it's the turn
:16:43. > :16:47.of the women paracyclists. As we've just seen, it's the men's
:16:48. > :16:53.team's pursuit final at 17:36. Then, to round things off, it's
:16:54. > :16:58.the turn of the team sprinters to turn on the afterburners inside the
:16:59. > :17:08.Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome at 18:03. But the first medals
:17:09. > :17:10.of the 20th Commonwealth Games have already been decided in the women's
:17:11. > :17:19.triathlon, and we can cross now to Strathclyde Country Park where
:17:20. > :17:20.the ceremony took place. Matt Chilton and Annie Emmerson
:17:21. > :17:32.will talk you through it. The winner of the Bronze medal,
:17:33. > :17:35.representing England, Vicky Holland! What a day for Vicky Holland. I'm
:17:36. > :17:39.not sure too many people thought that she would be in amongst the
:17:40. > :17:42.medal winners. But she comes away with a bronze
:17:43. > :18:13.medal. Presented by Prince Edward. The winner of the silver medal,
:18:14. > :18:17.representing Canada, Kirsten Sweetland.
:18:18. > :18:22.What a great performance it was by Kirsten Sweetland. She kept herself
:18:23. > :18:27.out of trouble in the water. In the end, she was the only one who could
:18:28. > :18:36.match the two English athletes for pace.
:18:37. > :18:41.A good start the Canada. Always solid medal winners at the
:18:42. > :18:47.Commonwealth Games. Off to a silver start hearing the triathlon.
:18:48. > :18:57.Gold medallist and Commonwealth champion, with a time of 1.58 point
:18:58. > :19:03.56, representing England, Jodie Stimpson!
:19:04. > :19:15.What an incredible performance from Jodie Stimpson. She accepts the gold
:19:16. > :19:20.medal, the first of the Games to be awarded. Already dedicating it to
:19:21. > :19:25.some of her coaches gathered to enjoy this moment in the sunshine in
:19:26. > :19:27.the Strathclyde Country Park. Jodie Stimpson is the Commonwealth
:19:28. > :19:40.champion. Ladies and gentlemen, the national
:19:41. > :20:56.anthem of England. APPLAUSE
:20:57. > :21:00.The first playing of Jerusalem echoes around the Country Park.
:21:01. > :21:07.England are off the mark in the women's triathlon. There may well be
:21:08. > :21:14.two English athletes on the podium following the men's triathlon.
:21:15. > :21:20.We were just watching that medal ceremony, you can see the emotion,
:21:21. > :21:24.how much does this mean to Jodie Stimpson and Vicky Holland?
:21:25. > :21:29.Jodie is probably one of the most passionate people in triathlon. She
:21:30. > :21:33.had dedicated her whole life. She is motivated and works so hard.
:21:34. > :21:39.Watching that and seeing her family, it means the world. I am delighted
:21:40. > :21:46.she is on top of the podium. They are so patriotic, to be wearing
:21:47. > :21:49.the team England kit, winning a medal.
:21:50. > :21:55.A special moment. The Commonwealth Games is unique to that. It would be
:21:56. > :22:02.important for me to be in my Welsh kit.
:22:03. > :22:07.Not long to go between the two baiters. The men's triathlon starts
:22:08. > :22:12.in one hour. What will be in fish girls be feeding back to the boys
:22:13. > :22:17.about the course, the conditions? The most important thing is the
:22:18. > :22:22.temperature, it is really warm. More like the South of Spain than
:22:23. > :22:26.Glasgow. The boys will have to take that into consideration. They don't
:22:27. > :22:29.want to overheat early on and struggle on the run.
:22:30. > :22:35.That has happened to Alistair in the past. The brown League brothers are
:22:36. > :22:45.favourites to beat on the podium. Do you think the rest of the pack are
:22:46. > :22:52.going for the third spot -- Brownlee.
:22:53. > :22:57.Hopefully, they will all be fighting just as hard. The race starts at
:22:58. > :23:00.three o'clock. Join us at 2:50pm for the build-up.
:23:01. > :23:53.That's also from Strathclyde Country Park.
:23:54. > :23:59.The people of Glasgow have made us feel very welcome over the past few
:24:00. > :24:06.days. You can watch every sport live online. All available. If you fancy
:24:07. > :24:13.some table tennis, that is there for you.
:24:14. > :24:18.The athletes here at the Commonwealth Games need to feel at
:24:19. > :24:21.home if they are to win medals. The London 2012 gold medallist Katherine
:24:22. > :24:34.Grainger has been to the Athletes' Village to find out if they are
:24:35. > :24:50.digging their digs! What is amazing about it? It's
:24:51. > :24:54.actually like a village. You hear about the Commonwealth Village but
:24:55. > :24:59.you don't know what it is. You arrive and, it is a village! What is
:25:00. > :25:07.your role here at the Commonwealth Games? I am managing the performance
:25:08. > :25:13.centre, the Lions Den as we like to call it. Just the team England.
:25:14. > :25:17.Everyone uses it, it is about making sure the athlete stays healthy, and
:25:18. > :25:22.enhances their recovery from training and competition whilst on
:25:23. > :25:31.the village. Have you been playing on the pitch? We won 3-0. Nice. Were
:25:32. > :25:41.you being gentle on them? Yes. Half pace. It is nice to be walking
:25:42. > :25:49.through the streets, you get a special nod. This is the English
:25:50. > :25:54.side, this is the Welsh side. Quite a lot of police walking around. I'm
:25:55. > :26:02.not used to that without thinking, what has somebody done? Look at
:26:03. > :26:06.that. We are modelling together. Is it true if you win a gold medal you
:26:07. > :26:13.will change it again? I can't see. If someone will buy the paint,
:26:14. > :26:21.sorry, the die, then I will happily accept any offer. Are you here to
:26:22. > :26:39.relax, or do the nerves start? Is it serious? It is all a bit serious
:26:40. > :26:43.now. England's women's hockey team have
:26:44. > :26:47.yet to take home a gold. Many in the squad were part of the British team
:26:48. > :26:52.who took home a bronze medal at London 2012. Part of that team, now
:26:53. > :26:57.England captain, is Kate Richardson-Walsh. You may remember
:26:58. > :27:12.the horrific jaw fracture she suffered but remarkably carried on.
:27:13. > :27:18.Hi, Kate, how are you? It is all very posh here!
:27:19. > :27:22.Can you believe we are coming up to almost two years since London, the
:27:23. > :27:27.Commonwealth Games which seemed an age of way? I can't now, I have to
:27:28. > :27:35.pinch myself will stop when I go into the schools I have to pinch
:27:36. > :27:39.myself. -- I have to pinch myself. I can't believe it, it has gone so
:27:40. > :27:46.quickly. COMMENTATOR: Ouch. You can tell
:27:47. > :27:51.straight away that is not good. The pain must have been immediate,
:27:52. > :27:55.you must have known straightaway it was serious. I can't remember
:27:56. > :27:58.specifically feeling pain. I got cramp, Wigley. It must have been
:27:59. > :28:06.shock. Straightaway, my teeth were in the
:28:07. > :28:14.middle of my mouth, I had fractured my jaw. My surgeon said we can fix
:28:15. > :28:24.this. I said, great, thought it was the end of it. After the surgery,
:28:25. > :28:30.they said I might be able to go back. Whatever he said, I grabbed
:28:31. > :28:35.onto it. Anybody would have done the same thing in that position. You
:28:36. > :28:37.have trade that hard, you have the dream of a potential gold medal at
:28:38. > :28:54.the Olympic Games. in the morning knowing that an
:28:55. > :28:58.Olympic medal could be yours. It was difficult because obviously
:28:59. > :29:06.we lost to Argentina 24 hours previous. So we have 24 hours of
:29:07. > :29:14.Harkness. Tears and soul-searching. -- darkness. But by the time it got
:29:15. > :29:21.to the bronze medal game, the feeling was just one I will never
:29:22. > :29:28.forget. We just knew, we're going to do this.
:29:29. > :29:40.Absolutely brilliant! What a comeback! Great Britain have won the
:29:41. > :29:45.bronze. If that was an emotional roller-coaster, and I imagine, a
:29:46. > :29:53.professional high, 2013, personally, was a very big year.
:29:54. > :29:59.Yes, on the pitch and off it. I got engaged and married.
:30:00. > :30:04.There are so few openly gay people across any sports. To get married
:30:05. > :30:09.whilst you are still playing, and your wife is in the same team, I can
:30:10. > :30:16.think of another example of that. You are a very unique couple.
:30:17. > :30:21.It is funny. Obviously when you are in things you do not see the outside
:30:22. > :30:27.perspective. We just love each other and are happy to play in the same
:30:28. > :30:29.team. I think because our team-mates and friends and family are
:30:30. > :30:37.supportive and understanding we don't see anything strange or
:30:38. > :30:43.different. Certainly, I know this is my last season playing
:30:44. > :30:47.internationally. The last fitness test, the last tournament, it is the
:30:48. > :30:52.last of everything, so it is quite emotional.
:30:53. > :30:56.And if you come away from Glasgow with the gold medal that has eluded
:30:57. > :31:06.you so far, is that where you might think, well, there is not that long
:31:07. > :31:10.to go till the Rio...? No! I have spoken to lots of people
:31:11. > :31:15.who have retired, they say, you just know. It is time for me, time for
:31:16. > :31:23.the squad, and there are other things I want to do will stop I feel
:31:24. > :31:27.like the next chapter is ready. It was an incredible story in
:31:28. > :31:33.London, if there were awards for bravery, Kate would have won it. We
:31:34. > :31:39.are heading to Glasgow Green for the start of the woman's hockey. There
:31:40. > :31:44.was a surprise visitor to proceedings after the success of the
:31:45. > :31:49.opening ceremony. There is the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. Off to
:31:50. > :31:54.see the first match for England, taking on Wales. Here's all you need
:31:55. > :32:08.to know about hockey. It is a fast and first game played
:32:09. > :32:14.by 11 aside teams. There are five substitute who may be used an
:32:15. > :32:18.unlimited number of times. Girls may only be scored from within the
:32:19. > :32:23.shooting circle, and arc extending 16 yards from the goal. Suspension
:32:24. > :32:29.cards can be issue to players who commit fouls. A green card is an
:32:30. > :32:34.automatic two-minute suspension. A yellow card, minimum five minutes.
:32:35. > :32:40.Penalty corners are awarded for infringements. Ten metres either
:32:41. > :32:45.side of the goalposts. Only five defenders may enter the shooting
:32:46. > :32:50.circle. If it is a tie at the end of the match, a penalty shoot out will
:32:51. > :32:56.take place. In Glasgow both the men and women's competitions comprise of
:32:57. > :33:03.rules of five teams each. The top two progress to the semifinals.
:33:04. > :33:13.It is fast and furious, and restart with the women's competition. Kate
:33:14. > :33:18.Richardson Walsh has a tough task. Scotland and Wales made for juicy
:33:19. > :33:20.opponents. It is the top two who go through to the knockout stages.
:33:21. > :33:47.First up, England versus Wales. We are underway. Trying to get early
:33:48. > :34:07.nerves out of the way. Finding the pass. Townsend. Gets the whistle.
:34:08. > :34:32.Their key player, nearly pinched, a good contest. This is Ainsley. The
:34:33. > :34:42.long, lanky frame. Not good to see, Twigg. I think it has hit a muscle,
:34:43. > :34:51.rather than her hand only. Hopefully no ligament or cartilage damage. Not
:34:52. > :35:01.a great start. Jones. Good hustle. Wins the contest. Off to Jordan.
:35:02. > :35:16.Daniel Jordan. Just 18 years of age. -- Danielle. Just watching Twigg on
:35:17. > :35:21.the sidelines, she can jog, but not sprint. Lots of pain on her face,
:35:22. > :35:27.unfortunately it speaks a thousand words. I would be surprised if she
:35:28. > :35:34.comes back out for this game, it looks too much of a risk. If you
:35:35. > :35:44.enter the physical contest against the Welsh, you play into their
:35:45. > :35:56.hands. A chance for Wales. Really taking the game to England. No love
:35:57. > :36:02.lost between these players. Lovely play up the left flank. Driving the
:36:03. > :36:15.ball into the circle, and the savings made. Still an
:36:16. > :36:28.opportunity... Brooks this time. No whistle. Now, through the midfield,
:36:29. > :36:34.Townsend, looking to get past one, two, she does so easily, drives
:36:35. > :36:46.towards goal, but again stopped superbly well. How is that not a
:36:47. > :36:51.whistle? Brilliant play by Townsend. One of the quickest midfielders that
:36:52. > :37:05.England have. Great to see her carving through the defence. Are
:37:06. > :37:12.they questioning? It is awarded to England. A chance for the first
:37:13. > :37:24.goal, but safe and goals. Slapping a glove on the stick. Game two of big
:37:25. > :37:32.O Commonwealth Games, and the Queen is here with the Duke of Edinburgh.
:37:33. > :37:47.-- game two of the Commonwealth Games.
:37:48. > :38:01.Lifted into the circle... It did not touch a thing. No goal. But another
:38:02. > :38:05.chance! And a magical finish! She took advantage of a brake and
:38:06. > :38:15.concentration from the Welsh. That is what she does best. They tried to
:38:16. > :38:21.get the ball moving early and Alex reacted to a poor pass. She has
:38:22. > :38:34.smashed that into the roof of the net, no chance for the goalkeeper.
:38:35. > :38:41.A little touch pass for Wales, an opportunity... Just could not drag
:38:42. > :38:51.the ball in, the skill missing at close quarters. This has not always
:38:52. > :39:01.been tidy, and that cleared the benches! Richardson Walsh is waiting
:39:02. > :39:12.at the top of the arc, and it is Richardson Walsh, a lovely little
:39:13. > :39:24.touch, and almost exponential -- almost in there. The deflection came
:39:25. > :39:31.of a body. Wilkinson. Takes the follow-through. Lucy was keen to win
:39:32. > :39:39.the ball and just came in from the wrong side. A chance for England,
:39:40. > :39:48.and that came off the foot of Wilkinson. Ainsley. Up there for
:39:49. > :39:57.England. Here it goes, it is Ainsley, another little variation,
:39:58. > :40:11.and another penalty corner. Shoes is asking why. Looking for a referral.
:40:12. > :40:18.-- Hughes is asking. They must now mentally prepare themselves for what
:40:19. > :40:37.England will conjure up. It is in, is it? It should have been!
:40:38. > :40:45.Excellent defence. A real melee. Laid off. Across it goes, a shot at
:40:46. > :40:51.goal... It is just wide by Townsend. She deserves a goal for the way she
:40:52. > :40:54.has put her again together today. Properly should have gone across
:40:55. > :41:03.goal rather than aiming at the near post, but that is a minor detail. So
:41:04. > :41:09.much pressure on the free hit, a loss of concentration, and this is
:41:10. > :41:15.now indicative of what England are exerting on Wales. They were looking
:41:16. > :41:22.to the top of the circle. Looking for a target person. Opt to the
:41:23. > :41:43.top, to Richardson Walsh, at goal, and a chance for England... Again,
:41:44. > :42:01.mop top! Mopped up. Nice tackle by Brooks. England could not get past
:42:02. > :42:11.Alice Brooks. Back-end, just wrong-footed, and it is a scramble
:42:12. > :42:12.once more, the shot at goal goes off the
