:00:21. > :00:37.It is the men's 800 metres heats. We saw David Rudisha go through

:00:38. > :00:43.comfortably. Now it is Mukhtar Mohammed for England.

:00:44. > :00:51.Bronze medallist in Helsinki in the indoor Championships, Gothenberg,

:00:52. > :01:00.rather. European bronze medallist last season. Look out for Andre

:01:01. > :01:07.Olivier and Obinwa from Nigeria, the Nigerian champion. Three go through

:01:08. > :01:13.automatically plus the four fastest losers. There are three rounds. It

:01:14. > :01:18.should be a fairly comfortable qualifying for those of any calibre

:01:19. > :01:25.at all. Only six athletes running him. Mukhtar Mohammed will look to

:01:26. > :01:27.avoid any trouble. He is by no means guaranteed one of the automatic

:01:28. > :01:40.qualifying places. Andre Olivier, the South African, he

:01:41. > :01:43.looks to be in control here. In a good position. Mukhtar Mohammed is

:01:44. > :01:47.at the back of the field decided already he had to make a move around

:01:48. > :01:56.the outside. The first three qualify. And the four fastest

:01:57. > :02:00.qualifiers. Olivier is one of the athlete is fancied to give David

:02:01. > :02:09.Rudisha a big race in the final of the 800 metres. Running strongly

:02:10. > :02:14.down the back straight. Mukhtar Mohammed has to get closer at

:02:15. > :02:25.point. Musagala comes through. This is a

:02:26. > :02:35.controlled race by the big fag -- big figure of Olivier.

:02:36. > :02:46.Mamba of Mozambique. He sees Mamba. He has plenty of running, it is a

:02:47. > :02:52.good race. Mukhtar Mohammed running for the line. Olivier takes the win,

:02:53. > :03:00.Musagala second. Mukhtar Mohammed has two settle for fourth place, it

:03:01. > :03:12.is wait and see. Guy Learmonth from the previous heat

:03:13. > :03:15.ran that in the first heat. Olivier was impressive.

:03:16. > :03:20.I was disappointed on behalf of Mukhtar Mohammed, looking for the

:03:21. > :03:24.result. It is not good news on the board for him. Here they are coming

:03:25. > :03:30.up to the bell, Olivier took control. Mukhtar Mohammed of England

:03:31. > :03:36.is at the back of the group. He really needed to take a closer look

:03:37. > :03:44.at an earlier point. They are not operating in full flow.

:03:45. > :03:56.The South African. His tactics clear from the beginning.

:03:57. > :04:02.There goes Mukhtar Mohammed on the outside. Running himself into third

:04:03. > :04:09.position. Musagala of Uganda, clearly in second place. And then

:04:10. > :04:16.Mukhtar Mohammed, working hard, too hard, coming under too much pressure

:04:17. > :04:21.on the bend. Mamba of Mozambique, into the straight, putting him under

:04:22. > :04:27.pressure. A battle for third place. The leader, Olivier, is comfortable,

:04:28. > :04:32.so is Musagala. For a moment, I thought Mukhtar Mohammed would hold

:04:33. > :04:38.it. Once he was overtaken he gave up. He may that decision. The

:04:39. > :04:46.qualifying times had not been particularly quick.

:04:47. > :04:58.Not at the moment. Mukhtar Mohammed is second quickest of the losers.

:04:59. > :05:04.The winner from South Africa. Just to reiterate that point.

:05:05. > :05:06.Mukhtar Mohammed, his point -- his time, a little faster than McBride

:05:07. > :05:27.who was fifth in the first heat. It is the wait and see game for

:05:28. > :05:29.Mukhtar Mohammed. No such problem for David Rudisha, the Olympic

:05:30. > :05:35.champion. Afterwards, he spoke to us.

:05:36. > :05:43.The reception from this crowd, that is the loudest so far, that must

:05:44. > :05:50.make you feel very proud. I am very happy, the crowd is really

:05:51. > :05:56.fantastic. They are really warm and cheering.

:05:57. > :05:59.Memories, maybe, London 2012 and the fantastic time you had there?

:06:00. > :06:06.It is great to be back here, it means a lot to me. This is my next

:06:07. > :06:12.Championship since London 2012. We know you had no difficulties last

:06:13. > :06:19.year. We have seen you get quicker, building to perfect form.

:06:20. > :06:27.Absolutely, you are right. We have been building on trying to progress

:06:28. > :06:31.gradually in my competition and I am pleased with my performance.

:06:32. > :06:35.This race today, is it how you hoped it would go?

:06:36. > :06:42.It was all about qualification for the semifinal tomorrow.

:06:43. > :06:47.And to save some energy, I suspect. That is right, as much as possible.

:06:48. > :06:58.The very best for the next round. Thank you.

:06:59. > :07:15.The only athlete left in this high jump. 1.81. Yes! That was a second

:07:16. > :07:21.attempt. It is her fifth jump of the afternoon. Let us have a look at

:07:22. > :07:24.this. Maybe a smidgen to spare. Good technique. She warmed into this

:07:25. > :07:29.nicely after waiting around a long time. A good continuation, in this

:07:30. > :07:43.second event of the heptathlon. A few metres away, on the start line

:07:44. > :07:49.of the 800 metres. Adnrew Osagie looks a little nervous he has no

:07:50. > :07:52.reason to be. Even when he is not in the best of shape, you would

:07:53. > :07:58.probably say some of the problems he has had with his calf and Achilles,

:07:59. > :08:04.curtailing his preparation. But he manages to negotiate through their

:08:05. > :08:09.Iraq -- very well in the rounds. Thomas, he made the final in Delhi.

:08:10. > :08:13.He ran really well in those championships. Finishing seventh in

:08:14. > :08:21.the final on that occasion. He has done well.

:08:22. > :08:32.Dill, just 20. The danger is Ferguson Cheruiyot. He

:08:33. > :08:37.is named after Alex Ferguson exclamation mark a big football fan,

:08:38. > :08:42.he says. And a very good runner. We have been watching him for three

:08:43. > :08:47.years, Brendan, and, for me, he is still learning his draft. In Monaco,

:08:48. > :08:56.running under 1.43 for the first time. -- learning his craft. Let us

:08:57. > :08:59.see if he has learned from experience and how he conducts

:09:00. > :09:04.himself. Andrew Osagie immediately realising

:09:05. > :09:12.he wants to stay close to this man. Tactical running by Andrew Osagie.

:09:13. > :09:20.Always predictable. Ferguson Cheruiyot moving into first place.

:09:21. > :09:25.It is spreading, this David Rudisha approach. Andrew Osagie is becoming

:09:26. > :09:30.a clever tactical runner. A finalist in the Olympic games. He ran a

:09:31. > :09:36.brilliant time in the final. Indoor medallist a couple of times. Andrew

:09:37. > :09:39.Osagie is in good company. We fully expect him to play it cleverly and

:09:40. > :09:44.work his way through in this position, in the back straight. He

:09:45. > :09:52.is responding as he follows the leader.

:09:53. > :10:03.Jeffrey Riseley, having a good season. Not that fast, which is why

:10:04. > :10:07.Dill is there from Bermuda. Only three to make it through by rights.

:10:08. > :10:16.It is not a fast heat. Rotich controller is from the front --

:10:17. > :10:21.controlling it. Andrew Osagie needs to respond to

:10:22. > :10:29.this. Thomas trying to sneak through. Osagie pushing on. I reckon

:10:30. > :10:35.Thomas has a case there. Words have been exchanged. They know each other

:10:36. > :10:43.really well. Andrew Osagie was struggling. Thomas realised he had

:10:44. > :10:47.an opportunity. We need to look at this. If Joe Thomas decides to

:10:48. > :10:54.contest this, what you make of it? Riseley found the gap. Thomas

:10:55. > :10:57.looking where to go, he decides on the inside. Osagie, does he cut him

:10:58. > :11:02.off? Thomas is in a terrible place. He

:11:03. > :11:06.decides he has to make one desperate effort. He tries to slip through

:11:07. > :11:14.between the Kenyan and Andrew Osagie. He bumps Osagie. That wasn't

:11:15. > :11:20.very clever. Andrew Osagie comes across, bumps him. Thomas steps on

:11:21. > :11:28.the inside. Osagie steps on the inside. Definitely a steward's

:11:29. > :11:34.inquiring. Let us look again. Coming into the finishing straight.

:11:35. > :11:40.Andrew Osagie at this point, he has got it to do. The race is ready for

:11:41. > :11:45.him. He suddenly runs out of steam. On the inside, Riseley nips through.

:11:46. > :11:50.Joe Thomas has three athletes in front, know where they him to go. He

:11:51. > :11:54.decides to get through that gap. It hardly exists, but he goes for it.

:11:55. > :12:00.He bumps into Andrew Osagie, and again. I tell you what, Andrew

:12:01. > :12:07.Osagie couldn't do anything about that, it was Joe Thomas coming from

:12:08. > :12:15.behind which caused that. If I was Joe Thomas, Andrew Osagie

:12:16. > :12:27.reacting, what you mean? I reckon he will protest. Andrew is with me now.

:12:28. > :12:32.Brendan saying he saw it as Joe Thomas's fault, how did you view it?

:12:33. > :12:37.He saw it differently to me, shouting at me, what am I doing? I

:12:38. > :12:44.am running as straight as I can. I caught him a couple of times. There

:12:45. > :12:49.wasn't a gap there. I came in the top three, I felt Constable the

:12:50. > :12:50.whole way around. It is all I can do.

:12:51. > :12:55.whole way around. It is all As you were coming around the home

:12:56. > :13:03.straight, and you kicked again. I had a lot to give. I felt

:13:04. > :13:07.comfortable. I was hoping to come out here in front of the crowd which

:13:08. > :13:13.is awesome. I heard stories about it. Last championships -- as

:13:14. > :13:20.championships go, I feel really good, ready for the next round.

:13:21. > :13:25.When you felt the nudge, what was going through your mind? I still

:13:26. > :13:30.felt in control. A bit frustrated. A similar thing happened in the

:13:31. > :13:35.trials. Which is the reason why I had a problem with my hamstring, I

:13:36. > :13:42.got caught a couple of times. I feel fine now.

:13:43. > :13:46.Can I say a big thank you to all of the videos, Toby Smith, forgetting

:13:47. > :14:14.meet on the start line -- physios. It is more from the side, it is not

:14:15. > :14:18.clear weather we see him clipped the heels of Ferguson Cheruiyot. Andrew

:14:19. > :14:24.had another gear, he started to move up, then use all the panic on his

:14:25. > :14:31.face, he checks his outside and inside. He grits his teeth. He picks

:14:32. > :14:38.up a little bit. Is that... It is Joe Thomas who captures the heels of

:14:39. > :14:41.Ferguson Cheruiyot. He sends him across. There is a little bit of

:14:42. > :14:47.closing off which went through Andrew's mind. He was genuinely

:14:48. > :14:50.impeded and lost his balance. It is unfortunate for Joe Thomas who tried

:14:51. > :14:54.to sneak through because he had no option to go around. Both those

:14:55. > :15:09.athletes frustrated. place? There was nobody in front of

:15:10. > :15:18.him when he tried to get through the gap, so it is tough. Steve, what you

:15:19. > :15:22.make of that? Nijel Amos coming up here as well, we are excited to see

:15:23. > :15:28.him. We should come back to that, we might want to be reminded about the

:15:29. > :15:32.medal that Andrew Osagie won at the British indoors after a protest.

:15:33. > :15:52.Yes, indeed, a glimpse of Nijel Amos, this is the Haney -- Babob of

:15:53. > :15:57.Papua New Guinea. Joshua Ralph of Australia goes in lane one. Nijel

:15:58. > :16:03.Amos, well, we talk about David Willey show for his greatness, but

:16:04. > :16:13.if he had not been there at London 2012, Nijel Amos ran an excellent

:16:14. > :16:17.time. -- David Rudisha. He has beaten him in Monaco, David Rudisha,

:16:18. > :16:26.and he does not have the fluidity, but Nijel Amos has a bustling style.

:16:27. > :16:32.Well, I am really looking forward to the semifinal, and the final of the

:16:33. > :16:38.men's 800 metres. It could be one of the big races of the championship.

:16:39. > :16:38.Nijel Amos, as you said, the 18-year-old coming to the

:16:39. > :16:41.championships, running the 18-year-old coming to the

:16:42. > :16:45.as Sebastian Coe at is very, very best, that just put it in

:16:46. > :16:57.perspective, tells you how good this man is. And so at the moment it is

:16:58. > :17:02.Emmanuel Ntakiyimana of Rwanda out in front, a man with a modest

:17:03. > :17:07.personal best. Does he have anything in the second lap? We shall see.

:17:08. > :17:12.Settling behind, Evans Kipkorir. Evans Kipkorir is new on the

:17:13. > :17:16.international scene, but often we get young Kenyans coming through who

:17:17. > :17:22.run really well. He is only 20 years of age, and we are waiting on Nijel

:17:23. > :17:27.Amos to do something. He has decided he will take the easy way on the

:17:28. > :17:33.inside. There goes Evans Kipkorir, and the race was happening behind

:17:34. > :17:40.him. Evans Kipkorir, then Nijel Amos rural micro-ungainly style, settling

:17:41. > :17:45.in behind. -- Nijel Amos' ungainly style, settling in behind. It is

:17:46. > :17:49.three to go through automatically, Jamaal James is left behind, these

:17:50. > :17:54.three are clear of the rest, and Nijel Amos will win this one as the

:17:55. > :17:59.rain starts to fall at Hampden. Nijel Amos at a standstill across

:18:00. > :18:04.the line, Evans Kipkorir goes through automatically. Nijel Amos,

:18:05. > :18:11.comfortable enough for him. That was a good run by Evans of Bermuda, and

:18:12. > :18:17.an interesting finish. I have never seen anyone brake as quickly as

:18:18. > :18:24.that. Evans Kipkorir, he comes steaming around, Nijel Amos on the

:18:25. > :18:27.outside, Aaron Evans of Bermuda running strongly at this point, then

:18:28. > :18:33.suddenly the three of them are clear. There goes Amos on the

:18:34. > :18:39.outside, steaming past Evans Kipkorir. Evans running powerfully,

:18:40. > :18:43.passing him, and then watch Amos, he could be the favourite, but he

:18:44. > :18:47.stopped so quickly the actually loses it on the line. He literally

:18:48. > :18:52.stopped just on the line! Well, he doesn't want to run far today, but

:18:53. > :18:58.he has to run at least 800 metres. Nijel Amos is strong over 400m, he

:18:59. > :19:02.will be fast at the finish. He has had enough of it, he has done his

:19:03. > :19:09.business, and he suddenly puts the brakes on and does not mind if Evans

:19:10. > :19:13.is in second place, Evans Kipkorir will also qualify. They have it all

:19:14. > :19:20.the do in the next few days. Nijel Amos has plenty left, Aaron Evans

:19:21. > :19:27.takes the win, Evans Kipkorir through as well. More interesting is

:19:28. > :19:32.this, Steve Cram. So you can see from the caption that Andrew Osagie

:19:33. > :19:36.has been disqualified from that third heat, which would mean Joe

:19:37. > :19:40.Thomas goes through. The irony is that both of them would have gone

:19:41. > :19:45.through, whoever finished fourth, would have gone through as a fastest

:19:46. > :19:49.loser. All the pushing and shoving was not necessary, but at the moment

:19:50. > :19:52.Andrew Osagie has been disqualified. That was probably not even a

:19:53. > :19:57.protest, just the officials taking that view. There may be a counter

:19:58. > :20:04.protest from the English team. Osagie disqualified.

:20:05. > :20:06.Well, Steve Cram mentioned there may be a counter protest to that

:20:07. > :20:11.disqualification, I would have thought it was a racing certainty. I

:20:12. > :20:16.would think so, it will be interesting to know whether Wales

:20:17. > :20:21.lodged a protest, or whether it was just buy the race referees, because

:20:22. > :20:24.I would have expected Wales to wait and see the fastest loser qualifying

:20:25. > :20:32.positions to say, did they both go through by right? Would that play

:20:33. > :20:35.into any appeal decision, if England put a protest through? Would they

:20:36. > :20:41.think, they would have both qualified anyway? I don't know. Then

:20:42. > :20:45.you would get an appeal from the next guy down. At the same time, how

:20:46. > :20:51.much time have they really had to study the footage? Not really that

:20:52. > :20:55.long. They have not had time to study the footage, so it will have

:20:56. > :20:58.been a quick decision. They will have seen as much footage as we

:20:59. > :21:02.have, and then there will be protests put in. As I say, once they

:21:03. > :21:08.see the fastest loser situation, maybe Wales will consider whether

:21:09. > :21:12.they would bother lodging a protest. Certainly there is now bad blood

:21:13. > :21:15.between the two, because they have very different opinions of what has

:21:16. > :21:21.happened. It is a shame to see that happen. Almost impossible to judge

:21:22. > :21:26.it, very controversial. We will update on the website, I am sure, as

:21:27. > :21:32.to what happens in terms of any protest. Not controversial

:21:33. > :21:37.disappointing was the tonight, the Commonwealth Games champion any 110

:21:38. > :21:42.metres hurdles heats, crashing out after two hurdles. He has had his

:21:43. > :21:45.problems with injury, but he has managed to get fit enough to

:21:46. > :21:49.compete, and I would say fit enough to qualify based on what we have

:21:50. > :21:54.seen, but he hit the first hurdle quite badly, which then threw him

:21:55. > :21:59.off for the second hurdle, and then he crashed out. Will shaman looking

:22:00. > :22:04.good in qualification, he will be in the mix for medals this evening. We

:22:05. > :22:11.also saw Eilidh Child, the poster girl of the Games, she qualified

:22:12. > :22:15.very comfortably. Yes, she did, the chance to qualify in front of this

:22:16. > :22:22.crowd, like she said, a day's recovery, come back fired up for the

:22:23. > :22:25.final. Greg Rutherford making it through to the long jump final with

:22:26. > :22:31.automatic qualification. For the moment, Jason, over to you.

:22:32. > :22:35.Thank you very much indeed, more athletics this evening, good

:22:36. > :22:38.afternoon, welcome back to Glasgow and the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

:22:39. > :22:40.Terrific action for you this afternoon on BBC Two and later on

:22:41. > :22:51.BBC One. This is what is coming up. We are heading across the river to

:22:52. > :22:57.the Hydro to see some of the best gymnasts in the world in the men's

:22:58. > :23:03.team final. And expect a full house next door at

:23:04. > :23:05.the SECC as Scotland's Reece McFadden and Northern Ireland's

:23:06. > :23:10.Ruairi Dalton demonstrate power in their punches, big fights in the

:23:11. > :23:15.flyweight last eight. And lots of action over on BBC Three and on the

:23:16. > :23:20.red button, lots of sports for you today. Hockey coming up, even more

:23:21. > :23:24.action from the gymnastics. That is live on the red button, and of

:23:25. > :23:33.course every sport is available at your fingertips, on the BBC website.

:23:34. > :23:38.In badminton, it is the men's, mixed doubles and singles round of 64.

:23:39. > :23:43.Lott available on the website and of course we have got lots of coverage

:23:44. > :23:44.on BBC Radio 5 live. Beth Tweddle is with me as we concentrate on the

:23:45. > :24:01.men's team final in the gymnastics. Kristian Thomas, you are incredible!

:24:02. > :24:08.A beautiful routine! Louis Smith delivers under pressure!

:24:09. > :24:31.# Within a heartbeat. # You change reality.

:24:32. > :24:41.# In the blink of an eye... This is how the team standings look

:24:42. > :25:22.after three rotations. Louis Smith scored an impressive

:25:23. > :25:27.15.7 on the pommel horse, only bettered by team-mate and European

:25:28. > :25:29.champion Max Whitlock. England had the overnight lead after completing

:25:30. > :25:43.three of the six rotations. Good afternoon, Beth Tweddle, as we

:25:44. > :25:48.look at the men's team final this afternoon, fantastic seeing all the

:25:49. > :25:53.fans going into the Hydro today, British gymnastics on the other. It

:25:54. > :25:57.is, ten years ago you would have never dreamt of the results we have

:25:58. > :26:02.been getting, and the crowds are piling in. You can see the

:26:03. > :26:07.atmosphere, I have been across, they are cheering for any gymnasts who

:26:08. > :26:10.entered the podium. Big day for our Dan Purvis, who has been saying it

:26:11. > :26:15.is difficult to concentrate on what he has to do, given he is taking on

:26:16. > :26:20.his Team GB team-mates. Very difficult for them, four of the

:26:21. > :26:24.Olympic medal winning team with England, then by Neal Purvis and

:26:25. > :26:29.Daniel Keatings with Scotland. They are so used to training together

:26:30. > :26:33.that they have to separate this allegiance and say I am there for my

:26:34. > :26:40.home nation. The gymnastics has been very different this time, split over

:26:41. > :26:41.two days, the qualification, and I spoke to a couple of them last

:26:42. > :26:46.night, and they are like, we spoke to a couple of them last

:26:47. > :26:50.only done half a competition, we need to do the rest tomorrow. It

:26:51. > :26:52.will be interesting to see how they get on. Straight to the action in

:26:53. > :27:04.the Hydro. There is the England team of Max

:27:05. > :27:08.Whitlock, Sam Oldham, Kristian Thomas and no Louis Smith today, he

:27:09. > :27:15.performed on pommel horse yesterday. You may see him in a little while on

:27:16. > :27:25.parallel bars. He said he might have a play! So my guess, England

:27:26. > :27:33.starting on vault, and they will be relying on Kristian Thomas here.

:27:34. > :27:39.Canada will be anxious to stay ahead of Australia. I am really excited to

:27:40. > :27:45.see how Nile Wilson performs today. He has kind of made his senior debut

:27:46. > :27:49.in yesterday's qualification competition, and he was so

:27:50. > :27:53.consistent, quite extraordinary to watch, for such a young lad to come

:27:54. > :27:58.out on the world stage and deliver the way he did. It will be very good

:27:59. > :28:03.if he is working and has the chance to make the all-around final,

:28:04. > :28:18.because he really is a really strong all-around. We will bring you up to

:28:19. > :28:23.date, parallel bars, looking to close the gap for them. Canada here

:28:24. > :28:30.are warming up on the high bar, Zachary Clay, Kevin that when,

:28:31. > :28:35.Nathan Gafuik, Scott Morgan. -- Kevin Lytwyn. Hold onto your hats,

:28:36. > :28:40.ladies and gentlemen, for the next hour or so, because this is where

:28:41. > :28:41.the competition is at. And what is very interesting, Scotland could

:28:42. > :28:48.have chosen this to start with, very interesting, Scotland could

:28:49. > :28:55.because there are some very good parallel bar workers here. And,

:28:56. > :29:00.well, a sign of things to come, just pop one in nonchalantly. Watching

:29:01. > :29:05.Sam Oldham there, a great piece for him to start on, because he has this

:29:06. > :29:10.really fiery approach, and I think he will be really pent up, ready for

:29:11. > :29:17.this, so good for him. Will, he is going for a big new vault, we will

:29:18. > :29:22.see, that did not look like the best warm up! You could tell on his face

:29:23. > :29:30.that he just got it out of the way, I will just pop in a double. Is he

:29:31. > :29:33.going to do something with it? It could be a special day to Scotland.

:29:34. > :29:37.They have never medalled at the Commonwealth Games in the team

:29:38. > :29:42.competition, so the lads in the background are looking to make

:29:43. > :29:47.history. The man of the moment, Nile Wilson, great opportunity for him.

:29:48. > :29:55.The last time England won this team competition was back in 2002 in

:29:56. > :29:59.Manchester, the Games previous to that. Nile Wilson, then, start the

:30:00. > :30:03.second half of the competition for England.

:30:04. > :30:15.Double twist, he has put an extra turn in, high difficulty, what sign

:30:16. > :30:27.of death that man has shown! 5.6, and he hit it. Again, keeping going

:30:28. > :30:36.with this remarkable consistency. He completed that at the European

:30:37. > :30:42.Juniors, just like that. That is the sort of depth you are talking about.

:30:43. > :30:46.Adam Cox here. Just checking the parallel bars, making sure

:30:47. > :30:58.everything is absolutely right from one end to the other. A high bars

:30:59. > :31:08.specialist. 27. Back from retirement.

:31:09. > :31:17.Such a successful gymnast for Scotland, a real stylish gymnast,

:31:18. > :31:23.look at that lovely line. His feet pointing, locked together, doesn't

:31:24. > :31:33.give the judges any manoeuvre for deductions. Really measured and

:31:34. > :31:39.smooth. Out onto the single rail. He makes all this work look very easy.

:31:40. > :31:49.Which is the mark of a good gymnast. Technically very good. Again, a

:31:50. > :31:54.clever routine, working within his confidence and fitness level. That

:31:55. > :32:06.would have really -- that was a really sound opening for Scotland.

:32:07. > :32:08.A great start for them. He does have long lines which he uses

:32:09. > :32:15.effectively. Nile Wilson. A huge school. At any

:32:16. > :32:28.level, a huge school. Posting a difficulty score of six,

:32:29. > :32:39.the hardest Fox we have seen in the competition so far. -- vault.

:32:40. > :32:47.A triple twist, he has been working that for a year, and to see it is

:32:48. > :32:51.terrific. The block he got at the top of the table, he floated through

:32:52. > :32:57.the air. He gets his hands on so fast with

:32:58. > :33:03.his feet low. That was really remarkable. Down the middle, no

:33:04. > :33:06.deductions. We have seen this occasionally on the world stage,

:33:07. > :33:11.that is the best execution I have seen.

:33:12. > :33:18.The height of it. He kept his feet low and snapped beautifully up.

:33:19. > :33:22.He really launched, didn't he? That is the secret. Height and not

:33:23. > :33:25.length. The World Championships is if you

:33:26. > :33:32.month away. Goodness me. He is ready. He will take the world by

:33:33. > :33:48.storm. That is his aim.

:33:49. > :33:53.England are unstoppable. To produce such difficulty and score that for

:33:54. > :33:58.execution! You can see what that meant to him as well.

:33:59. > :34:20.He made it but that was costly. Oh, my goodness me. An enormous

:34:21. > :34:26.amount of strain going through that left ankle.

:34:27. > :34:31.You saw, when he landed. Sam is in trouble. He is rock hard.

:34:32. > :34:37.You made the point in the warm up, it was a little bit low. Let us have

:34:38. > :34:42.a look. He got the head and shoulders round but he was low.

:34:43. > :34:50.Terrible pressure. He picked it up immediately. Pushing hard. Double

:34:51. > :35:01.front. Head and shoulders round. Knees touched out. That will hurt.

:35:02. > :35:08.Adam Cox. But bad news indeed for England. We

:35:09. > :35:13.will keep you posted. Daniel Purvis will be aware what is

:35:14. > :35:19.going on here. His British team-mate. He needs to keep his

:35:20. > :35:25.composure. He has already made two finals and Scotland need him.

:35:26. > :35:33.A tiny hesitation, and again. Going to one is not easy. He recovered it

:35:34. > :35:49.well. A good understanding. Good double tuck. -- underswing. Making

:35:50. > :36:00.sure of it. To set up this. The somersault straddle. Healy. A good

:36:01. > :36:05.second half of the routine. He hesitated in the first half. But

:36:06. > :36:11.that was a brilliant second-half. The double pack.

:36:12. > :36:17.Doing what he does best. Throw some pressure at him and he delivers.

:36:18. > :36:20.We have always seen him absolutely deliver under pressure. Yesterday

:36:21. > :36:29.was the first time we have seen him waver. There has been such

:36:30. > :36:32.expectation on the Scottish lads. They felt a bit responsibility to

:36:33. > :36:45.Scotland. Perfect technique. They felt a bit responsibility to

:36:46. > :36:53.He hasn't moved on the mat, the structure is being brought on. It is

:36:54. > :36:58.etched on his face. He has had a huge amount of preparation, he is

:36:59. > :37:09.ready. You can see Louis Smith, huge concern from the rest of the team.

:37:10. > :37:13.This is where they brought Louis Smith as a specialist but all of a

:37:14. > :37:18.sudden he may be needed to work on pieces.

:37:19. > :37:31.Daniel Purvis, not even looking at the scoreboard but at his team-mate.

:37:32. > :37:39.Sam Oldham gets 14.5. He is obviously shaken.

:37:40. > :37:44.Very obviously shaken. It will shake the team as well. As you said, they

:37:45. > :37:48.had looked almost invincible. It only takes a moment like that to

:37:49. > :37:55.remind everyone no one is invincible.

:37:56. > :38:02.Christian Thomas now for England. He has got to clear his mind. He is

:38:03. > :38:09.posting a difficulty store -- score of six.

:38:10. > :38:26.He hit the top. And he made the landing.

:38:27. > :38:32.He didn't disappoint. This is a big vault. A double pike. So height and

:38:33. > :38:44.so clean, both rotations were under control. Just slightly to the right.

:38:45. > :38:48.Daniel Keatings is in the pommel horse final. He is on the floor

:38:49. > :38:59.final, can he get into the parallel bar final. Parallel bars is one of

:39:00. > :39:06.his strong pieces. He has recorded an incredible score on the parallel

:39:07. > :39:11.bars. That is nice, the skip to one rail which is difficult to time. And

:39:12. > :39:20.a Healy from it. Just a tiny adjustment. And a combination of a

:39:21. > :39:38.stutz and a Healy. This is very good from him. Keeping the swaying pure

:39:39. > :39:40.and sweet -- swing. Oak, he overcooked the double pike. Daniel

:39:41. > :39:48.Keatings, you will slap your wrists that because it looked wild class

:39:49. > :39:54.until the dismount. A great atmosphere inside the

:39:55. > :39:56.Hydro. England are leading the way. Really soured by that injury to Sam

:39:57. > :40:13.Paul Dunham. -- Sam Oldham. Sam has been coming back to form of

:40:14. > :40:20.late. He knew as soon as he landed and he grabbed his ankle. He came in

:40:21. > :40:30.a little bit short and the full impact can be seen. We are lucky we

:40:31. > :40:34.have our own medical staff. They will be assessing him right now. And

:40:35. > :40:38.deciding what course of action to take.

:40:39. > :40:41.He injured both his ankles in the run-up to the World Championships

:40:42. > :40:44.last year. He has not had a great time with

:40:45. > :40:51.injuries, every athlete will go through that period. Better for us

:40:52. > :40:59.now to get that injury out of the way and get him ready for Rio.

:41:00. > :41:08.You have been using your contact, what is the latest? At the minute,

:41:09. > :41:12.they had taken him off to assess him. We will lead them to do their

:41:13. > :41:18.job and see what the outcome is. The English lads, luckily, we have that

:41:19. > :41:24.depth and strength within the team. They will carry on that team

:41:25. > :41:29.performance without him. What about your overall assessment

:41:30. > :41:37.of what we have seen? Thomas had a hard job, seeing his

:41:38. > :41:43.team-mate have a crash on the vault. He produced the goods. He has done

:41:44. > :41:46.it at Olympics and world and European level. Unfortunately,

:41:47. > :41:52.Daniel Keatings had an error right at the end of his routine but the

:41:53. > :41:55.rest was superb. Is it enough for a final?

:41:56. > :42:01.England are leading the way. Is there enough to maintain that lead

:42:02. > :42:05.or can Scotland overhaul England? I think England are seven marks

:42:06. > :42:10.ahead. We can safely say England will take the title. You never know

:42:11. > :42:15.with gymnastics, that is the beauty of our sport.

:42:16. > :42:23.The crowd are loving this. This battle between England and Scotland.

:42:24. > :42:27.They are so used to supporting Team GB, they are not used to going their

:42:28. > :42:33.separate ways. There is a real battle. It will be interesting to

:42:34. > :42:40.see how it finishes. You have been there. We talked about

:42:41. > :42:45.Daniel Purvis. These guys know each other so well, they practically

:42:46. > :42:49.lived with them all year round. And in the build-up to the Olympics,

:42:50. > :42:57.there is a team spirit. At the Commonwealth Games, they are rivals.

:42:58. > :43:01.The three teams have been chaining together at our national centre so

:43:02. > :43:07.they know exactly what they can do. On the field of play, it is everyone

:43:08. > :43:13.for their own. You did see Daniel Purvis and Daniel Keatings to see

:43:14. > :43:19.how Sam was. They will be worried about him after the position they

:43:20. > :43:24.will be checking up. Let us show you what is happening

:43:25. > :43:29.right now on our BBC services. You can keep up to date with the

:43:30. > :43:36.fantastic game between Scotland and the Norfolk Islands. That is the

:43:37. > :43:40.badminton. If you want to press the Red Button, you can keep up-to-date

:43:41. > :43:47.with the artistic gymnastics at the fantastic Hydro across the river.

:43:48. > :43:59.That is live on your Red Button right now. Full coverage is online.

:44:00. > :44:01.Coverage continues on BBC Three, and the Red Button.

:44:02. > :44:03.More gymnastics to come on BBC One in a few seconds.
