:00:16. > :00:26.Oh, it's absolutely brilliant. Oh, this is getting better and better!
:00:27. > :00:32.Ronaldo! History Boys indeed. They've won the Cup, they've won the
:00:33. > :00:39.Cup. He's done it. He has done it! Good
:00:40. > :00:45.afternoon, everybody. Welcome to Sincil Bank Stadium. It was here 11
:00:46. > :00:52.days ago that Adam Marriott picked up the ball there, threaded it
:00:53. > :00:56.through to Nathan Arnold, who round the Ipswich goalkeeper, stuck it
:00:57. > :01:02.into the back of the net and sent Lincoln to the FA Cup. This is our
:01:03. > :01:07.home for the entirety of Football Focus. And we look to the fixtures
:01:08. > :01:12.and Josh McEachran paints the penalty spot, and can Lincoln do it
:01:13. > :01:16.again? Lincoln are in great, great form and I think will fancy their
:01:17. > :01:21.chances. Throbbing with anticipation of what
:01:22. > :01:26.is to come. Ipswich to win it here. Four minutes of stoppage time to
:01:27. > :01:36.play. Now, here are Lincoln on the break. Arnold's quick. Arnold's
:01:37. > :01:40.through... Arnold's the hero. Lincoln City are through in the
:01:41. > :01:45.dying seconds. Well, we wondered if this was going
:01:46. > :01:47.to be an historic night, it's going to be.
:01:48. > :01:56.What a night. What a moment! They've embarrassed
:01:57. > :02:04.Ipswich Town. Utterly unbelievable. I tell you what, if there was a baby
:02:05. > :02:11.born in Lincoln Town in hospital tonight, I hope it's called Lincoln!
:02:12. > :02:16.There we are, then. Non-league national team, Lincoln, taking on
:02:17. > :02:24.Brighton. As you can imagine for a big game like this, they are in
:02:25. > :02:31.early! Look at them all! Yay! Very excited, it is understandable, and
:02:32. > :02:35.the FA Cup is here, and l not to disappoint you, we have Dion Dublin
:02:36. > :02:39.and Graeme Le Saux for the show as well. They love love you, Dionne,
:02:40. > :02:43.they love you. Somebody has to.
:02:44. > :02:49.You can tell it's a big week, Honey G is performing.
:02:50. > :02:54.We missed out then! We are focussing on Lincoln but Lincoln and Sutton.
:02:55. > :02:59.Two non-league sides for the Cup. It is fantastic.
:03:00. > :03:04.It is rare. Very rare. A few years back, a long way back, when I was
:03:05. > :03:09.playing. You know, it is great. Great for the clubs, and for the
:03:10. > :03:14.revenue. Great to see so many kids. Yes, it's a great day out, as we
:03:15. > :03:18.often say but speak to the fans, they think they have a real chance.
:03:19. > :03:23.Lincoln, a real sense of community here, they feel that they can do it
:03:24. > :03:28.again? The team, the club, the town, city, it has a huge identity built
:03:29. > :03:32.around the success of what happened on the pitch. You can see what
:03:33. > :03:36.happened at Ipswich, the character and the quality. They deserve to win
:03:37. > :03:41.it, why not. It is a fantastic opportunity.
:03:42. > :03:46.I believe you must be honest, if you think we go in, win this one, we
:03:47. > :03:51.could win that one, that disappointment could be take tonne
:03:52. > :03:56.the league, so be realistic. Let me introduce you to Owen and
:03:57. > :04:04.Devlin. How old are you, deaf Lynne? Four years old.
:04:05. > :04:09.No, I've five years old! That's all right. Good maths. I will ask a
:04:10. > :04:17.maths question. What do you think that the score will be? 1-0.
:04:18. > :04:21.To Lincoln? Yeah! Well, that is worth a round of applause.
:04:22. > :04:29.Owen, what about you? I'm eight years old! And the score? 1-0.
:04:30. > :04:35.Determined. OK, look down the camera and say this is what is coming up on
:04:36. > :04:40.Football Focus! This is what is coming up on Football Focus.
:04:41. > :04:46.Wayne Rooney on 250, not out. It was a proud moment to get to that
:04:47. > :04:52.stage. We're in Lincoln but we can't leave
:04:53. > :04:57.Sutton out, can they write another chapter in their rich history? Can
:04:58. > :05:02.Tottenham tame the beast? The funny thing is that people think I can eat
:05:03. > :05:07.loads but that has hit the spot. And Josh McEachran on going back to
:05:08. > :05:11.the Bridge with Brentford. I didn't expect to walk into Chelsea
:05:12. > :05:17.first, they are one of the best teams in the world. And genuinely
:05:18. > :05:25.concerned, I think that Owen has a job. A future! Incredible! Right,
:05:26. > :05:32.pipe down, I'm the boss around here! Steady on! Steady on! Right, let's
:05:33. > :05:38.show you the FA Cup ties this weekend. Sorry, Owen. A beautiful
:05:39. > :05:40.shot of lip can cathedral, and Owen told us it is the tallest building
:05:41. > :06:07.in the world, by the way. Arsene Wenger in the stands for
:06:08. > :06:14.Arsenal's trip to Southampton. Four games on Sunday.
:06:15. > :06:27.Gabby Logan has been to see the record breakers to see if dedication
:06:28. > :06:34.is really what you need. Rooney! A magnificent goal from
:06:35. > :06:40.Wayne Rooney. Tell us a little bit about what it
:06:41. > :06:44.feels like to score in the Premier League for Manchester United? It's
:06:45. > :06:50.an amazing feeling. You score a goal. The initial feeling is like
:06:51. > :06:55.you're playing football under water and when you score the goal it's
:06:56. > :06:59.like you come up for air and you can hear the crowd, the atmosphere for
:07:00. > :07:03.that four or five seconds. It's mad feeling.
:07:04. > :07:06.Can you, if you had to record it, the match, would you know how the
:07:07. > :07:13.goal developed or came about? I think so.
:07:14. > :07:17.Go on, then, your favourite goal. The favourite was the Manchester
:07:18. > :07:21.City goal. We were both fighting for the title.
:07:22. > :07:25.So the circumstances of the goal? Yes, the goal at Newcastle was
:07:26. > :07:30.better but for the moment, the best feeling, I would say it was that
:07:31. > :07:34.one. ARCHIVE: Russian country's delivery,
:07:35. > :07:41.oh, a sensational goal. That's number 250. Wayne Rooney stands
:07:42. > :07:44.alone as Manchester United record goal-scorer.
:07:45. > :07:47.That's a really impressive record to achieve.
:07:48. > :07:51.Obviously a great moment for myself. A proud moment to get the record.
:07:52. > :07:55.Sir Bobby Charlton was there, as he always is. He came into the dressing
:07:56. > :08:01.room after the game and congratulated me. That meant a lot.
:08:02. > :08:05.I speak to him after any game but for him to be there to give him his
:08:06. > :08:10.congratulations. It was a special moment.
:08:11. > :08:16.What do your kids say? I have been speaking to them. They understand.
:08:17. > :08:21.They were made up. I have to re-enact it.
:08:22. > :08:28.So let's go back to when you arrived at this club. What were the aims for
:08:29. > :08:33.a young Wayne Rooney? I joined the club at 17. I say I wanted to win
:08:34. > :08:43.trophies. I've done it since being here. When
:08:44. > :08:47.I first joined the club, they had won four Premier Leagues. It is
:08:48. > :08:55.crazy. Now obviously identify won five. I'm
:08:56. > :08:59.sure the likes of Rashford will be looking at me, thinking they've won
:09:00. > :09:05.five Premier League titles but that's the aim. I'm sure if he keeps
:09:06. > :09:11.doing the right things and going the way he is, he will be a great player
:09:12. > :09:14.for this club. And hopefully in ten, whatever many years' time, he will
:09:15. > :09:17.be close to the record. Obviously, there have been many
:09:18. > :09:23.teams coming through, different management regimes in the last few
:09:24. > :09:26.years, has it invigorated you? It is part of football. Obviously
:09:27. > :09:30.Manchester United have had the stability of Sir Alex over the 26
:09:31. > :09:34.years before and over the last three to four years, what they've been
:09:35. > :09:41.doing is trying to find the right one, I believe they've found him.
:09:42. > :09:45.We're working every day. Seeing how he wants to work, setting the team
:09:46. > :09:48.up with the successes around the corner.
:09:49. > :09:51.You have said you would like to coach in the future, is it something
:09:52. > :09:57.you feel is a career path you would like to go down? Of course. When you
:09:58. > :10:00.get older you start to think more about the game, especially if you're
:10:01. > :10:06.not playing. You sit there and think, if I were the manager, what
:10:07. > :10:11.would I do? My whole life is around football. The minute I finish
:10:12. > :10:14.playing I would like to stay in the game and hopefully get the
:10:15. > :10:18.opportunity to manage. Players playing in this generation, they
:10:19. > :10:21.have the money to not go into management, so you really do have to
:10:22. > :10:27.want to do it. If you turned on the telly, you are
:10:28. > :10:33.watching Football Focus from Sincil Bank Stadium. And Lincoln take on
:10:34. > :10:39.Brighton later on. We are in the dug-out, with Dionne and Graham. You
:10:40. > :10:43.were at Manchester United, Dionne, did you ever think that the great
:10:44. > :10:49.work of Sir Bobby Charlton would be beaten by anybody? Never. But wane
:10:50. > :10:54.has done it. And you don't realise the pressure on you to perform all
:10:55. > :10:59.the time but from 16 years old, he has been in a bubble bubble of
:11:00. > :11:05.football. He has had to perform. He's been a superstar since the age
:11:06. > :11:09.of 19. To continue to score goals at the highest level by people trying
:11:10. > :11:14.to stop you scoring goals at every single game it is a huge game.
:11:15. > :11:19.It is every goal he scores seems different. He's not just a one trick
:11:20. > :11:24.pony. But he gets criticism, is he
:11:25. > :11:29.undervalued? I think that the problem is the baggage he picked up
:11:30. > :11:35.along the way. People think has he reached his potential. Some of the
:11:36. > :11:40.things that have come with him have maybe given the impression he is not
:11:41. > :11:46.as focussed as he should have been, he could have done better. But it's
:11:47. > :11:50.a remarkable achievement in terms of goals and the football he played
:11:51. > :11:53.from a young age. But also the spotlight off the pitch is huge as
:11:54. > :12:01.well. What about a future in management?
:12:02. > :12:05.He spoke about that with Gabby but he didn't seem like the right
:12:06. > :12:11.candidate but maybe we've misjudged him? A lot of players talking about
:12:12. > :12:16.being managers over the years, I never thought Paul Ince would be a
:12:17. > :12:20.manager, he is sparky but I think he has done well. But I think that
:12:21. > :12:25.Wayne has so much knowledge to pass on, I think it will be something he
:12:26. > :12:32.could knock into. And Rio Ferdinand says as he has
:12:33. > :12:40.played so much, he feels like he has a who-year-old body. Speak for
:12:41. > :12:46.yourself! I think that footballers are counting in dog years. On a
:12:47. > :12:50.serious note, he has not had, thankfully, a major injury, that
:12:51. > :12:54.keeps you in good shape. But it does get harder. His body has wear and
:12:55. > :12:58.tear. I think what Rio needs is the knocks
:12:59. > :13:05.and the pulls, and he has gotten through them.
:13:06. > :13:10.What about Wigan? They are struggling in the Premiership. What
:13:11. > :13:17.can Wigan do to upset Manchester United? If you sit back you will be
:13:18. > :13:22.beat. So they have to have a go. Warren Joyce will know Manchester
:13:23. > :13:30.United especially with the kids, Jess Lingard. But it is how to stop
:13:31. > :13:36.United. How to stop them? We are speaking with you more later on. And
:13:37. > :13:43.more of the guys sitting in this home team dugout later. A brilliant
:13:44. > :13:50.fact, did you know they have been keeping the grass in tip top shape
:13:51. > :13:53.by browing the cannabis lamps from the police force, all above board
:13:54. > :13:59.and legal. But everything is going their way.
:14:00. > :14:03.At 4.30am they were queuing up all this week to try to get hold of
:14:04. > :14:07.tickets against Brighton. We are making our way down. Good morning
:14:08. > :14:13.everybody. Thank you very much for a warm welcome. This is the away team
:14:14. > :14:20.getting ready, Brighton. Hiya, fellas. And we are later in the home
:14:21. > :14:24.dressing room with the man that scored that great goal, Nathan
:14:25. > :14:30.Arnold. Good morning Mr Cowley. Lovely to see you boys. Who are you
:14:31. > :14:34.watching analysis? Yes, the last bit of Brighton.
:14:35. > :14:41.What has this been like? We are talking about the guys queuing up
:14:42. > :14:45.for the tickets at 4.30am. The sense of anticipation, and excitement, it
:14:46. > :14:50.must be hard for you to keep it together at times, Nicky? It's been
:14:51. > :14:55.crazy. Going out for training, crowds queuing up around the stadium
:14:56. > :15:03.and it's been crazy for us. And from a boss perspective, Daniel?
:15:04. > :15:06.It's been magic. The magic of the FA Cup has certainly landed in Lincoln.
:15:07. > :15:11.The buzz around the place has been great. The journey we have been on
:15:12. > :15:14.has allowed us to connect with the city and the people.
:15:15. > :15:20.That's the thing, the people of Lincoln have bought into the fact
:15:21. > :15:25.you two are working hard, doing 20-hour days, the sense of
:15:26. > :15:29.community. It has been here for a long time, bringing pride in
:15:30. > :15:32.addition to the fact you are playing good football, playing at the top of
:15:33. > :15:37.the league in the FA Cup? We wanted to connect the people back with the
:15:38. > :15:40.Football Club. The club had been relegated five years ago and drifted
:15:41. > :15:46.since the relegation. When we arrived we felt it was still in
:15:47. > :15:49.mourning. We wanted to bring an enthusiasm and the work ethic and we
:15:50. > :15:55.have tried to do that. Our players have been great. We have honest,
:15:56. > :16:02.hard-working players. Since day dot they have bought into it everything
:16:03. > :16:05.we asked of them. For us there is a natural connection and chemistry
:16:06. > :16:10.between us and the supporters as I think we have similar traits.
:16:11. > :16:15.And the whole brothers perspective, is it awkward? Does it get easier
:16:16. > :16:22.with success? Do you fight amongst each other? No, not anymore! When we
:16:23. > :16:27.were kids, maybe. I mean argue? Is it easy to talk to someone who is
:16:28. > :16:31.your brother? You have moments. It is important that I'm a strong
:16:32. > :16:35.personality for Danny and don't always agree for the sake of it. We
:16:36. > :16:39.always give our own opinions. The greatest thing about our
:16:40. > :16:42.relationship is the trust. We have a togetherness and that's how we want
:16:43. > :16:46.the players to be. To be together and up for the challenge. We have a
:16:47. > :16:51.big one today. Can I asked what happened against
:16:52. > :16:55.Barrow? You lost against Barrow? Yeah.
:16:56. > :17:01.Is that as it is hard to maintain the focus? No excuses. We started
:17:02. > :17:06.well against Barrow. Conceded a poor goal. Barrow were excellent. I
:17:07. > :17:10.wouldn't want to do their performance a disservice by making
:17:11. > :17:15.excuses for ours. We try to be a no excuse mentality. We came up short
:17:16. > :17:19.when conceding away from home at difficult places like Barrow. You
:17:20. > :17:26.are giving yourself an uphill task. We didn't get to our levels. All of
:17:27. > :17:29.us have had prays recently. On Tuesday night we got the criticism
:17:30. > :17:34.we deserve. We have to shoulder it and to be big enough to learn from
:17:35. > :17:39.it and move forward. Are you enjoying the build-up of the
:17:40. > :17:45.game? We came here this morning, Danny is offering us a cup of tea, I
:17:46. > :17:47.thought you would have more important thing but you seem relaxed
:17:48. > :18:02.in this experience? When we started out, we would come
:18:03. > :18:06.in in the second qualifying round. You would have to do two qualifying
:18:07. > :18:10.matches to get to the qualifying rounds. You get four qualifying
:18:11. > :18:14.rounds the first round proper. So to be a game away from being in the
:18:15. > :18:22.last 16 of the FA is pretty amazing so we are going to enjoy it. Look at
:18:23. > :18:27.the smiles on their faces! Guys, I really appreciate you talking to us.
:18:28. > :18:30.Thank you very much. The Liverpool versus Wolves game is the early one
:18:31. > :18:34.in the FA Cup fourth round and let's get the team news from Martin
:18:35. > :18:39.Fisher. As expected, wholesale changes made
:18:40. > :18:43.by Jurgen Klopp. Only the goalkeeper and Roberto Firmino survived from
:18:44. > :18:52.Webster's defeat in the TfL cup semifinal against Southampton. --
:18:53. > :18:58.weapon state's. 21-year-old Connor Randall gets another chance to
:18:59. > :19:00.impress. Storage and Coutinho are among the subs if required. Wolves
:19:01. > :19:07.are without their regular keeper through suspension so 20-year-old
:19:08. > :19:10.Harry Burgoyne will make his third senior appearance. Andy Wyman, on
:19:11. > :19:19.loan from Derby, makes his first start it over 8000 Wolves fans are
:19:20. > :19:23.here to see if their team can make it three home defeats in a row for
:19:24. > :19:28.Liverpool. Managed to make it back pitch side!
:19:29. > :19:32.Genuinely sprinted into position! I'm slightly out of breath so you
:19:33. > :19:36.will have to talk. Nine changes for Liverpool. What do you think the
:19:37. > :19:40.slump in form is all about? I don't know if you listen to Radio 5 live
:19:41. > :19:50.this week but Juanfran said it was time for Jurgen Klopp to go. Does he
:19:51. > :19:53.take criticism? -- one fan said. It's difficult because they are a
:19:54. > :19:57.very exciting team and are built to attack and create it there was a lot
:19:58. > :20:01.of fluidity in the midfield so there is not a lot of backbone to the team
:20:02. > :20:05.in the way they're set up a they're not scoring goals at one end and
:20:06. > :20:08.keeping pressure on teams, there is always a bit of vulnerability at the
:20:09. > :20:12.back and that seems to me that they getting punished. They might be
:20:13. > :20:15.playing quite well but are getting punished and conceding goals. You
:20:16. > :20:19.can't read into nine changes too much, in terms of he's picking a
:20:20. > :20:23.team for this particular game and thinking about other matters as
:20:24. > :20:25.well. But ultimately, it is such fine margins and they're getting
:20:26. > :20:31.punished for things that maybe aren't as bad as we think. The new
:20:32. > :20:35.managers that have come in realising it is not a two horse race or three
:20:36. > :20:40.race. Lots of teams can win the league. Starting with the squeeze
:20:41. > :20:44.out his thinking, we can't do that all the time. He is changing the way
:20:45. > :20:48.he plays against certain teams. I still think he's the right man for
:20:49. > :20:53.the job. I like him, I think he's a very good manager. Sometimes I think
:20:54. > :20:57.other fans of other clubs think that because everybody likes him, he
:20:58. > :21:02.doesn't get criticised as much as some other managers would do but
:21:03. > :21:05.he's got to hold onto his best players. Coutinho has signed a
:21:06. > :21:10.contract but contracts don't mean much these days it up Lallana is a
:21:11. > :21:13.fantastic player for them and it is a talisman. You've got to have
:21:14. > :21:16.something to fall back on when those players aren't able to play about
:21:17. > :21:21.level. They can't do it 90 minutes every game. When they come to life,
:21:22. > :21:27.they perform at the highest levels and they do individual brilliance.
:21:28. > :21:31.Players like Coutinho and I still think Daniel Sturridge... Henderson
:21:32. > :21:35.has become a better player and Firmino is standing up to be
:21:36. > :21:37.counted. Players like that will attract other players. You can't
:21:38. > :21:41.bring in the great players if you don't have great players. 9000
:21:42. > :21:47.Wolves fans are going to be at Anfield. Doesn't surprise me. Paul
:21:48. > :21:51.Lambert said they're going to go for it and had nothing to lose. Could be
:21:52. > :21:54.a great afternoon. Given how Liverpool are playing at the moment,
:21:55. > :21:58.if they can absorb the pressure Liverpool will throw at them, and
:21:59. > :22:02.take advantage of chances, whether it is set pieces counterattack, they
:22:03. > :22:07.can go and win that game and they will fancy their chances. Paul
:22:08. > :22:14.Lambert knows how to win a he was the manager of another club and beat
:22:15. > :22:18.Norwich 6-0. He ended up being the Norwich manager later. He knows how
:22:19. > :22:25.to win an individual game. You dug into the memory banks there! I'll
:22:26. > :22:28.give eight-year-old Owen a shout! Let's show you the fact that you can
:22:29. > :22:34.see all those goals from Anfield on the BBC website. There will also be
:22:35. > :22:38.a programme from 2:30pm where Jason will be joined by Garth Brooks and
:22:39. > :22:44.Kevin Kilbane. Highlights of all today's games on Match of the Day at
:22:45. > :22:50.10:30pm. It is Gabby Logan with Trevor Sinclair and Danny Murphy.
:22:51. > :22:55.Mark Clemmitt has been out with the bus.
:22:56. > :23:01.We're on the trail of two of the clubs who are facing opposition from
:23:02. > :23:05.three divisions higher this week. And a little while, we'll meet one
:23:06. > :23:07.of lower league football's larger-than-life characters but
:23:08. > :23:12.first, having seen off neighbours Wimbledon in the last round in a
:23:13. > :23:23.leafy corner of South London, Sutton united are preparing for the visit
:23:24. > :23:29.of leads -- Leeds. Here we go. Morning, guys. Can you define the
:23:30. > :23:34.essence of this group of players? Why they've had the success they've
:23:35. > :23:39.had? We're tight-knit group. We had promotion last year and we kept
:23:40. > :23:44.together. We've gone on and pushed on and on really well. The club has
:23:45. > :23:47.made about half a million quid. To be frank with you, the least they
:23:48. > :23:54.could run two would be five litres of blue paint! Shall we have a look
:23:55. > :23:59.at the facilities? I'm not in any way denigrating these but a little
:24:00. > :24:02.bit tight, I would suggest. Nice use of the colour brown. Not sure quite
:24:03. > :24:11.what's going on here so I'm not going ask! It's funny what the cup
:24:12. > :24:16.shocks up with your Leeds United connections. It certainly does but
:24:17. > :24:23.plus, the history that Sutton have got with Leeds, which was 30 odd
:24:24. > :24:33.years ago... 47 years ago, 1970! All good ingredients. There you are!
:24:34. > :24:44.That's a goal. What a pity for Dave. I think six was not about score. I
:24:45. > :24:51.think we got off quite likely. 64 Leeds. Do you think this generation
:24:52. > :24:58.stand any chance this weekend? They stand a better chance than we did,
:24:59. > :25:01.I'm certain of that. He twists and turns on shoots and scores
:25:02. > :25:05.spectacularly. Has life changed hugely for you over the last eight
:25:06. > :25:09.weeks, since you started scoring these crucial goals? I could say
:25:10. > :25:14.yes. A lot of interviews, a lot of new friends showing up from back in
:25:15. > :25:19.the day. Can you imagine the atmosphere around here at four
:25:20. > :25:24.o'clock on Sunday afternoon, if you were to beat them? It would be
:25:25. > :25:29.amazing. It would surpass the feeling... It would be incredible.
:25:30. > :25:35.People are pinching themselves. We've seen managers in the Leeds
:25:36. > :25:38.United poster from 1970. I never dreamt that looking at that post of
:25:39. > :25:46.the last ten years since I've been here that one day that could happen
:25:47. > :25:49.to me and this club again. Meanwhile, Wycombe Wanderers are
:25:50. > :25:53.heading to Spurs and in the best traditions of the FA Cup, we've
:25:54. > :26:02.brought their biggest name to his favourite jerk chicken shop. There
:26:03. > :26:06.he is! Are you good? I'm good! I can see you are. Have you finished? I
:26:07. > :26:09.can't believe that! The funny thing is, people think agony loads and
:26:10. > :26:13.loads and loads but this hit the spot! Do you in anyway resent the
:26:14. > :26:18.fact that whenever anybody talks about you, it's always your physical
:26:19. > :26:23.Di mentioned before the football? Not any more. Used to be, "Look, I'm
:26:24. > :26:26.a footballer first and foremost," about my size but now it doesn't
:26:27. > :26:33.really bother me to it people said I was too big to play football but 14
:26:34. > :26:37.later, I'm still here. It has so do well, hasn't it? I would argue that
:26:38. > :26:42.you are probably the best-known player in the lower two divisions.
:26:43. > :26:47.Social media has played a massive part and I think it bridges the gap.
:26:48. > :26:53.It makes what is such a big world smaller. It makes anybody
:26:54. > :26:58.accessible. And Liverpool, we played Liverpool, Wimbledon, it took me on
:26:59. > :27:02.to a whole other plateau. What a great goal that is. Unleash the
:27:03. > :27:06.beast! One of my favourite moments of the season was the explosion of
:27:07. > :27:15.joy when you came out of perhaps to go to Tottenham. -- out of the hat.
:27:16. > :27:19.This is what I think the beauty of the FA Cup is. It's what the lower
:27:20. > :27:23.league teams dream of, a chance to pick yourself up against the elite
:27:24. > :27:27.and at the moment, Totten is probably one of the most inform
:27:28. > :27:30.teams around, especially in the Premier league. So, for us, I
:27:31. > :27:34.wouldn't say it is what dreams are made but this is what we play
:27:35. > :27:45.football for. For myself, I'm going to try enjoy every minute.
:27:46. > :27:51.One last thing. Somebody told me there was a little dance, a couple
:27:52. > :27:59.of moves. Can you give us a little demonstration? Trust me on Saturday,
:28:00. > :28:03.if I score or if we win, you will be seeing these moves on Saturday.
:28:04. > :28:11.That's worth watching the highlights programme! Just for that! Thank you.
:28:12. > :28:14.Thank you. We are back Lincoln Lounge. Good
:28:15. > :28:16.afternoon, everyone. Are you all right?
:28:17. > :28:24.CHEERING They are up for the cup! People do
:28:25. > :28:28.talk about the size and the fact he is the strongest player, which he is
:28:29. > :28:31.quite proud of, but have either of you had to mark somebody as
:28:32. > :28:35.formidable as that? I've had to mark a lot of people bigger than me, for
:28:36. > :28:38.obvious reasons! The thing you can't afford to do with somebody like that
:28:39. > :28:42.is you can't allow them to dominate so you've got to give your
:28:43. > :28:45.distances, use everything in your power, on the fringe of breaking the
:28:46. > :28:48.rules occasionally with your arms, just to make sure you protect
:28:49. > :28:56.yourself and don't let them dominate it up I'd pass him on! You can mark
:28:57. > :28:58.on corners! He's incredibly strong so don't try and mark him with
:28:59. > :29:04.strength because he will just take the Mickey out of you. That's what
:29:05. > :29:10.he can do. He's a big strong lad but he can still score goals, hold it
:29:11. > :29:14.up, and he's got talent. He is just a unit and I'd hate to mark him. I
:29:15. > :29:19.always found jumping into Google was the best form of defence. I can
:29:20. > :29:25.vouch for that! Needed that many times against meet drop whatever you
:29:26. > :29:28.do to get an advantage! From a certain perspective, quite a few
:29:29. > :29:32.teams playing away from home this weekend. Will talk about the other
:29:33. > :29:36.non-league sides. Playing on a three Gbits, what advantage does that give
:29:37. > :29:42.you, bearing in mind Sutton play and train on it most weeks? As good as
:29:43. > :29:45.they are, it doesn't play like a real grass pitch and you have to
:29:46. > :29:49.adapt the way you pass the ball, you can't go so long if you need to. The
:29:50. > :29:54.read of the ball and the bouncers different. Your positional play...
:29:55. > :29:57.When you are nowhere near the ball, your positional play has to be
:29:58. > :30:01.better because that ball is going to regional area very quickly so you've
:30:02. > :30:04.got to be aware of how much quicker it is playing on the surface. We
:30:05. > :30:07.heard from Roarie Deacon, who has scored a few goals and been
:30:08. > :30:11.impressing people and other goals are looking at him. Buddhism in the
:30:12. > :30:18.FA Cup do and you have a personal experience. -- that is something the
:30:19. > :30:22.FA Cup do. If you can get in the spotlight, and people can't ignore
:30:23. > :30:25.goals good performances. I was fortunate to score a couple of goals
:30:26. > :30:29.against Sheffield Wednesday for Cambridge United and I ended up
:30:30. > :30:33.getting move to Manchester United. That is a dream move that happens
:30:34. > :30:37.once every 50 years but if you can keep doing it, stay in the eye line,
:30:38. > :30:43.you never know who is watching. How soon after the game did someone give
:30:44. > :30:47.you a tingle on the phone? It was months, not years. They said, "We've
:30:48. > :30:52.seen you do that and would like to take you...? Sir Alex Obama seen me
:30:53. > :30:57.play live. He had a video tape and I think it was Betamax back then, of
:30:58. > :31:01.my goals. He said, I fancy a bit of this man, get him signed up. I knew
:31:02. > :31:06.I was in the wrong position! I nearly got sold down the leagues!
:31:07. > :31:09.Stop being down on yourself. The fourth round of the FA Cup kicked
:31:10. > :31:11.off last night with an East Midlands derby. Graham was commentating on
:31:12. > :31:30.this. Here we go. Akinfenwa All eyes on East Midlands
:31:31. > :31:42.at Pride Park tonight. In the end it's an awful own goal.
:31:43. > :31:51.Darren Bent can't believe it. Craig Bryson to give them the lead! Gray!
:31:52. > :31:57.Over Bent. Simpson can't deal with it. There's the header and there's
:31:58. > :32:04.the equaliser from Morgan. Leicester and Derby must do it all again.
:32:05. > :32:11.So, four goals last night. We have had an early goal at Anfield, Wolves
:32:12. > :32:16.are a goal up. We said it would be a day where Wolves would go for it.
:32:17. > :32:19.Well, this is it. Now they can invite Liverpool. I'm sure that the
:32:20. > :32:24.game plan is to try to stop the space behind them.
:32:25. > :32:28.So, searman getting the goal for Wolves. Something else to talk
:32:29. > :32:33.about, Arsene Wenger will be watching in the stands, a four-game
:32:34. > :32:39.ban. Do you think he got off lightly with this? Not having a stadium ban?
:32:40. > :32:44.I think it's about right. I think they have it right. I have been
:32:45. > :32:48.speaking to Graeme about this. He has been giving insight into what
:32:49. > :32:52.could have happened. Because he admitted he had done something
:32:53. > :32:57.wrong, the FA see it favourably. That may have gone a way to reducing
:32:58. > :33:01.the ban, the same with the fine. I think there could be a question mark
:33:02. > :33:05.about whether or not a couple of games should have been stadium
:33:06. > :33:11.banned. The full ban. Obviously you have to make sure as an organisation
:33:12. > :33:15.that players and managers know you cannot man handle officials.
:33:16. > :33:19.Does it affect the players? Some will be delighted that the manager
:33:20. > :33:24.is not on the touch line. They will! Some players like to get on with it.
:33:25. > :33:30.Some time they feel that the manager is in your ear. It will benefit
:33:31. > :33:35.some, hinder others. The other thing is he does not have history. He has
:33:36. > :33:38.not been in front of FA for several years. So that is taken into
:33:39. > :33:44.context. I think it is right.
:33:45. > :33:48.He Haas had a few. Bits and bobs. Well, we are live from Lincoln. If
:33:49. > :34:00.you switched on, this is Football Focus, we are here until 1.00pm. We
:34:01. > :34:08.still have this on the way for you. Jamie Raven is weaving his Cup
:34:09. > :34:11.magic. And the Millwall manager, Neil Harris as his side eye up
:34:12. > :34:17.another big boy. We also have Hull taking on Fulham
:34:18. > :34:23.this week. Apologies with the break up in the sound, Ryan Mason, we saw
:34:24. > :34:27.last week, a horrible injury, within an hour, into hospital having an
:34:28. > :34:31.operation, the players are visiting him this weekend at St Mary's
:34:32. > :34:37.Hospital. It shows you how much medical care has come on in the last
:34:38. > :34:41.few years? And rightly so. Anything can happen quickly on a football
:34:42. > :34:46.field or in any sport. The way that they dealt with Ryan Mason was
:34:47. > :34:50.outstanding. They were all there. I forget the doctor's name he was at
:34:51. > :34:55.Liverpool for many years but he took charge. He said don't do that. He
:34:56. > :35:01.was instructing everything. To get on there, to get it sorted. To know
:35:02. > :35:04.exactly. Sometimes doctors know from a player's body language how bad the
:35:05. > :35:10.incident is. You famously broke your neck at
:35:11. > :35:13.Aston Villa and then went back on and played again. Would it be
:35:14. > :35:19.different these days in the care that was taken? Probably a one-off
:35:20. > :35:25.incident on my behalf. I crushed C 5. I was off the pitch. The
:35:26. > :35:31.shoulders by the ears, I said I was fine, I went on the pitch for a
:35:32. > :35:34.minute and then the physio knew. The game has taken big strides on
:35:35. > :35:37.getting professional people on the heart of the incidents and dealing
:35:38. > :35:41.with these situations far better. It is the first person on the pitch
:35:42. > :35:47.that is key. So that support that the players have now is fantastic.
:35:48. > :35:49.Proof is obviously with Ryan Mason's situation, how quickly they dealt
:35:50. > :35:54.with it. With the players if they stay down,
:35:55. > :35:58.if a player stays down and doesn't move, there is something wrong.
:35:59. > :36:05.We do wish Ryan Mason all the best and hope he makes a full recovery.
:36:06. > :36:09.And on the pitch for Hull, Robert Snodgrass, liver liver liver has
:36:10. > :36:16.gone as well, they seem to be preparing for going the wrong way
:36:17. > :36:25.down? It is a concern. The players see the other players being sold,
:36:26. > :36:27.the morale is a key issue -- Livermore.
:36:28. > :36:36.The atmosphere in the dressing room will be important.
:36:37. > :36:41.The play the players thinking what can they achieve without Snodgrass
:36:42. > :36:45.and Livermore, they are bottom of the table nothing is going right,
:36:46. > :36:50.they will be worried. Let's hear from Josh McEachran, his
:36:51. > :36:55.side take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. He has been around the
:36:56. > :37:02.block. 18 months ago he turned up at Brentford. Juliette Ferrington went
:37:03. > :37:06.to see him. Josh McEachran is coming on, an indication of how highly
:37:07. > :37:11.rated he is by Carlo Ancelotti. I started at Chelsea. Signed a
:37:12. > :37:20.professional contract and made the diboo at Chelsea at 17. . I got
:37:21. > :37:25.along with AB V well. He said I could stay but he was not sure of
:37:26. > :37:32.the game time. I went to Swansea, since then it has been up an down.
:37:33. > :37:37.You come back off loan, then packing another case and shooting off again.
:37:38. > :37:41.How difficult was it? Of course it is unsettling, but about I didn't
:37:42. > :37:47.expect to walk into the Chelsea first team. You have to earn your
:37:48. > :37:51.place. At that time, for whatever reason, the manager didn't think I
:37:52. > :37:55.had heroined my place. It was unsettling. Up and down the
:37:56. > :38:00.motorway, living out of the back of a car. That is part and parcel of
:38:01. > :38:04.being a professional footballer at such a big club. Chelsea, Manchester
:38:05. > :38:09.United, they are all the same. Is it hard to understand,
:38:10. > :38:13.frustrating that so few young English players come through the
:38:14. > :38:17.ranks at such big clubs? It is frustrating but if you are good
:38:18. > :38:24.enough, if the manager believes in you, you will get a chance. Chelsea
:38:25. > :38:31.are getting better at it with the likes of Loftus-Cheek.
:38:32. > :38:34.When you realised that your time had ended at Chelsea, how difficult was
:38:35. > :38:42.it for you to divorce yourself from the situation? Towards the end, when
:38:43. > :38:45.I was at Vitesse Arnhem, I still had a year to the end of the contract
:38:46. > :38:52.but I couldn't see myself breaking it. So I took it upon myself to
:38:53. > :38:56.start a new chapter at Brentford, to get settled and playing back week
:38:57. > :39:00.in, week out. Bradford City, 2-0 down away at
:39:01. > :39:05.Chelsea. They are back to win it 4-2.
:39:06. > :39:09.Does Bradford give you hope from a couple of seasons ago when they went
:39:10. > :39:15.to the Bridge and came back with success? Yes. You never know what is
:39:16. > :39:20.going to happen. I know it will be tough. I'm looking forward to it.
:39:21. > :39:25.The Chelsea fans are excited to see me back there playing.
:39:26. > :39:29.What connection do you have with the Chelsea fans, even though the game
:39:30. > :39:34.time at the Bridge was limited? I think that they are desperate to see
:39:35. > :39:40.a young English lad coming through. The last one was John Terry. They
:39:41. > :39:45.think, I think that is why they took so kindly to me. I'm still 23. I
:39:46. > :39:49.want to be playing in the Premier League. Back playing at the top
:39:50. > :39:56.levels. I still have to work hard, improve as a player. Hopefully, I
:39:57. > :40:01.still think that I can get there. A lot was expected from him from an
:40:02. > :40:04.early age. At Chelsea from the age of eight. Do you think he could be
:40:05. > :40:09.right. That the club could have helped him more? I think it is the
:40:10. > :40:13.down side of the loan stem. He burst into the team. Everybody pinned
:40:14. > :40:18.hopes on him as he was home-grown. As he said, Chelsea were looking for
:40:19. > :40:22.somebody to compare with JT. There was a lot of criticism to the club
:40:23. > :40:27.about not developing home-grown players. From that point of view,
:40:28. > :40:33.once you are farmed out, going on loan, learning the profession it is
:40:34. > :40:36.not a bad thing, I agree with season but four, five seasons you never
:40:37. > :40:41.establish a style of play that suits you and finding it hard to get the
:40:42. > :40:46.best out yourself as a player. So I think he as a result of that has
:40:47. > :40:51.found himself struggling a bit as he has huge potential. He has played at
:40:52. > :40:57.England level all the way up. U16 captain for England. Up to 221s. He
:40:58. > :41:03.has an opportunity to show his quality, play on a big stage and say
:41:04. > :41:08.to everyone: Look, this is what I'm capable of. Maybe this is a
:41:09. > :41:13.springboard. He is still only 21. It is young.
:41:14. > :41:16.And Chelsea, they are so formidable, especially at home.
:41:17. > :41:20.They are wiping the floor with everybody. So many good players.
:41:21. > :41:25.They seem to have a balance. They know exactly what the manager wants,
:41:26. > :41:28.how to perform to stay where they are, the top of the tree they've
:41:29. > :41:34.been great to watch. They will know what it is all about. To know what
:41:35. > :41:39.to expect. He will see a few old face but it will go out of the
:41:40. > :41:44.window when the game starts. Liverpool on Tuesday, Arsenal the
:41:45. > :41:51.following weekend, it could be a decisive week in the title race?
:41:52. > :41:55.Yes. Chelsea have the system, the 3-4-3. Every player knows his role.
:41:56. > :42:00.Strong defensively, they are creating chances. So the balance,
:42:01. > :42:04.that put them as my favourites. Well, we have put a lot into the
:42:05. > :42:07.programme this week, even a magician, here we go, here is Jamie
:42:08. > :42:12.Raven. The players know what it is like to
:42:13. > :42:17.play a giant at the FA Cup. I'm here today to show them it is like
:42:18. > :42:24.performing a magic trick. All you need is confidence... Composure...
:42:25. > :42:28.And perfect timing. What a night! What I love the most
:42:29. > :42:34.about football, and I'm a huge fan is this: You are never on your own.
:42:35. > :42:37.I do most of what I do on my own. I never have someone looking out for
:42:38. > :42:42.me. Every now and then I can do a trick with a helper. This is my
:42:43. > :42:47.assistant. He is doing the trick. It is important that he does not see or
:42:48. > :42:53.hear anything. Put your hand on top of that. A massive game against
:42:54. > :42:58.Brighton. Think two things: What is the score and who will score the
:42:59. > :43:01.first goal? Amy, help me out. We need a card to write the information
:43:02. > :43:04.down on. Say stop anywhere. Stop.
:43:05. > :43:09.Brilliant, do you have a score in your head. Write down the first
:43:10. > :43:14.score and scorer. Now we lose the cards. I will not do anything. You
:43:15. > :43:18.are happy he cannot see the card. Take out the stick man. I need you
:43:19. > :43:22.to roll him up into a football. Place the cards in the pack. When
:43:23. > :43:28.you are done hold him nice and tight. Check out that bad boy! We
:43:29. > :43:34.are putting our magician, our assistant inside the little canon.
:43:35. > :43:38.Can I brow him for a second? We are stuffing him inside the canon. Then
:43:39. > :43:49.I'm hoping he's going to find our card. We will need encouragement,
:43:50. > :43:58.guys, he is a bit shy. Can I have an "oh... "? Stop. That is rubbish. Do
:43:59. > :44:03.it again. Our little stick man as burnt himself through the card. You
:44:04. > :44:07.can see clearly there is a stick-man shaped hole through all of the
:44:08. > :44:13.cards. Until we get down to one... Dude, what was the score you thought
:44:14. > :44:18.it would be? 1-0. Who did you say that the first
:44:19. > :44:22.scorer would be? Nathan. There is one card with a stake man
:44:23. > :44:30.on it. All of the rest. Absolutely nothing. Show the camera.
:44:31. > :44:34.Can I have a round of applause! I need some explanation of that trick.
:44:35. > :44:43.I have to watch it again. It is baffling me! Here we are in the
:44:44. > :44:49.Lincoln dressing room with Matt Reid taking on the Brighton might. Is it
:44:50. > :44:55.is day when you feel nervy, or the fact you have taken on Ipswich and
:44:56. > :44:59.beaten a championship side. Does it make you feel comfortable? Yeah,
:45:00. > :45:04.definitely but we are playing against a very good team. We have to
:45:05. > :45:09.match and do better than before. I'm sure that the managers say take
:45:10. > :45:16.it as it comes but it is not a normal game, nor a normal build-up.
:45:17. > :45:22.The fans have been outside from 4. .35am, there is a huge expectation
:45:23. > :45:25.on you and the team? Yeah, definitely, the underdog is a title
:45:26. > :45:30.to embrace. Hopefully we'll get a result.
:45:31. > :45:34.Do you or has the manager approached the game the same as the Ipswich
:45:35. > :45:39.game or changed it because it is Brighton? We have done the stuff we
:45:40. > :45:45.have to do about Brighton. Watched the videos on them. That has not
:45:46. > :45:49.been different for us, that is good. It's a tough ask but we'll give it
:45:50. > :45:54.our best shot. The style of football you play, what are you looking for
:45:55. > :45:58.from your team-mates? Who will give you the opportunity? The wingers.
:45:59. > :46:03.The set pieces are a massive opportunity for us. We have scored a
:46:04. > :46:08.few from the set pieces. But from the goals in the teams we are one of
:46:09. > :46:15.the top scorers in the league. Just cross it for him! What has the
:46:16. > :46:21.influence of the Cowley brothers been? I know they are detailed. They
:46:22. > :46:25.have spent a long time preparing you with video analysis. What difference
:46:26. > :46:28.have they made to the club? There was a time you were thinking of
:46:29. > :46:33.leaving? Definitely. I spoke to them from day one. They've been
:46:34. > :46:38.unbelievable. They want to do well. This give every opportunity they can
:46:39. > :46:43.to be successful. That is great. We have a good opportunity this year.
:46:44. > :46:50.They won't leave a stone unturned to bring success to the team.
:46:51. > :46:55.I know quite a few of your playing partners are watching and probably
:46:56. > :46:59.waiting for you to make a slip-up but do you think the players have a
:47:00. > :47:02.belief that today could be one of those days? Is there some
:47:03. > :47:07.confidence, inner feeling, that you can do it? There are signs all over
:47:08. > :47:14.the dressing room on the club. You a player who at those things? Not
:47:15. > :47:18.really. Phase of his big belief in the previous game and as it stands,
:47:19. > :47:25.we got nothing to fear today. We're playing against a championship team
:47:26. > :47:28.and we will have a bit more opportunity. On BBC Radio
:47:29. > :47:31.Lincolnshire at the end of the game, the commentator said, "If there is a
:47:32. > :47:37.baby being born in Lincoln tonight, they need to be called after Nathan
:47:38. > :47:40.Arnold who scored the goal". There was a baby that night but they
:47:41. > :47:48.didn't name in Nathan, they called it Bradley! I didn't know that the
:47:49. > :47:52.wave of his forgot the name wrong. Obviously, Bradley had a good game.
:47:53. > :47:55.Have a good game. Enjoy the experience and we will see what
:47:56. > :48:10.happens come 5pm. After splashing Bournemouth in league
:48:11. > :48:17.three, -- Millwall face more Premier league opposition in the shape of
:48:18. > :48:20.Watford. Ivan Gaskell has been to see Millwall's record goal-scorer
:48:21. > :48:27.turned manager Neil Harris. What does it mean to me? Ambition. What
:48:28. > :48:33.does the FA Cup mean to me? Dreams, Wembley. When I think of Millwall
:48:34. > :48:38.and the FA Cup, my mind drifts back to 2004 and the Millennium Stadium.
:48:39. > :48:43.It was my dream to play in the cup final. It means everything to me
:48:44. > :48:46.having achieved that and I've been able to pass it onto my players and
:48:47. > :48:51.I say to my players before each round, it may be the first round, it
:48:52. > :48:55.may be the third round, Division 1, Division 2, Conference team... To
:48:56. > :48:59.get to the fifth round of the cup is a phenomenal achievement and for a
:49:00. > :49:05.championship club to get to a final is awesome. It was in the FA Cup
:49:06. > :49:10.where you broke the club's all-time scoring record it up it was a
:49:11. > :49:16.special achievement. To surpass someone of his stature was huge.
:49:17. > :49:21.Something I had been chasing for a period of time, the individual
:49:22. > :49:27.achievement, being the record goal-scorer at a club, is huge.
:49:28. > :49:35.Stevie Morrison started talking about chasing my record. There was a
:49:36. > :49:41.simple answer, just don't pick him. I think if he got to 120, I might
:49:42. > :49:49.have to start leaving him out! The quarterfinal draw away... Thank you
:49:50. > :49:54.very much. So you go from player to manager. What are the challenges of
:49:55. > :49:57.making the transition? For instance, you've got several players who are
:49:58. > :50:03.now managing who you used to play alongside. How is that? Fortunately,
:50:04. > :50:08.we are talking about really good pros. Really good senior players.
:50:09. > :50:10.Good friends of mine when I played, top professionals, so it makes the
:50:11. > :50:19.relationship and managing them very easy. It is not a problem to manage
:50:20. > :50:22.because they are good players. I do recall being really shocked one day
:50:23. > :50:27.when I woke up and read that you were suffering from cancer.
:50:28. > :50:33.Fortunately, I was young and naive. I was 23 when I was diagnosed and
:50:34. > :50:36.maybe a lack of knowledge helped me at the time. The downside was that I
:50:37. > :50:41.was young in my career and playing really well and sitting back and
:50:42. > :50:45.looking now, you can be as honest as you like now you've retired,
:50:46. > :50:51.probably not quite hitting the levels I did precancer. But I dealt
:50:52. > :50:57.with it like everything else. You tackle it head on. There were so
:50:58. > :51:02.many good times afterwards. Back in the training pitch, the training
:51:03. > :51:07.ground... Scoring your first goal... Things like that are real
:51:08. > :51:14.highlights. Funnily enough, that first goal when you came back was
:51:15. > :51:18.against Watford. Yeah. Bizarre, probably that it just happened to be
:51:19. > :51:29.Watford. That was a big moment at the time. 2002 was a big moment. It
:51:30. > :51:40.completely separate from Sunday's game. It is a tough game for us.
:51:41. > :51:46.Hopefully we can get a result of the weekend. We have moved outside to
:51:47. > :51:50.the directors' box. Neil Harris is a Manu played with and know very well
:51:51. > :51:53.and the good news this week the Millwall is that the future of the
:51:54. > :51:59.ground is secure. When you played with Neil, did you feel he had that
:52:00. > :52:02.management touch? He was a nuisance! He was a centre forward that was a
:52:03. > :52:07.nuisance, had to win everything, always wanted to be on the winning
:52:08. > :52:13.side. Had to quit plaintively scored. So we have that mentality.
:52:14. > :52:20.-- had to keep playing until he scored. He always had that
:52:21. > :52:24.managerial, what's the word, streak in him. If you are doing it in
:52:25. > :52:28.training, when it comes to games later on in life... It's a skill
:52:29. > :52:31.set, it is what you can take from your football career and apply it to
:52:32. > :52:34.your management career, so the experiences he's had, his natural
:52:35. > :52:38.personality and putting that together. You are right about the
:52:39. > :52:42.ground, that is a massive bit of news. It is not over in the sense
:52:43. > :52:45.that they have withdrawn the application but it gives them a
:52:46. > :52:52.reprieve and it shows the spirit of the supporters and everybody to get
:52:53. > :52:55.behind that. It could be a tricky afternoon for Watford. Another
:52:56. > :52:58.Premier league side who may be in for not the best weekend.
:52:59. > :53:03.Psychologically, when I played FA Cup games, I was playing for a
:53:04. > :53:06.Premier league club at the time, it was hard to motivate yourself
:53:07. > :53:11.sometimes because everything about the game itself is set up for you to
:53:12. > :53:17.fail as the favourite, even down to the referee. Tackle comes in and
:53:18. > :53:19.he's more likely to give the opponent from the lower division the
:53:20. > :53:26.benefit of the doubt of everything up settles -- unsettles you. You
:53:27. > :53:30.have to be spot on as an individual and as a team. Are you able to share
:53:31. > :53:38.any memories of your time at Millwall? On live television, no!
:53:39. > :53:43.Not a single-storey? There are lots of times in the dressing rooms when
:53:44. > :53:48.it has got physical. They wanted to... Sean Dyche was in the dressing
:53:49. > :53:55.room and Tim Cahill and Paul Ifield, we had some really good players and
:53:56. > :54:00.then you had little cop Chopper in your ear because he wanted to win
:54:01. > :54:04.all the time. He knows what the fans demand and he's just trying to give
:54:05. > :54:12.them it. You can see Millwall taking on Watford on BBC One tomorrow at
:54:13. > :54:17.11:50am. That is followed by Manchester United versus Wigan.
:54:18. > :54:21.Highlights of all of Sunday's games on much of the day and the fifth
:54:22. > :54:26.round draw will be live on The One Show from 7p on Monday night. To
:54:27. > :54:29.give you an idea of the geography, this is the wonderful Lincoln
:54:30. > :54:34.Cathedral. You get pretty clear view of it from the directors' box, which
:54:35. > :54:38.is where the man who has joined us will be sitting this afternoon, Paul
:54:39. > :54:41.Barber, the chief executive from Brighton. We've talked a lot about
:54:42. > :54:44.Lincoln understandably but from a bite in perspective, top of the
:54:45. > :54:48.championship. Is this the thought of game you don't want? Not really at
:54:49. > :54:51.this stage but Lincoln have been going really well, having a great
:54:52. > :54:56.season, and we are enjoying a great season and it should be a cup tie.
:54:57. > :55:00.Are their concerns from a player's point of view? Chris Hughton were
:55:01. > :55:03.saying there may be some changes made but at this stage of the
:55:04. > :55:08.season, it is about giving that momentum going? We don't want to
:55:09. > :55:12.lose any games. We also want to give our squad and opportunity to play. A
:55:13. > :55:16.few lads haven't had as much football as they would have liked so
:55:17. > :55:19.they will see some football today. Keeping the momentum going, the
:55:20. > :55:22.confidence up, looking forward to another big game on Thursday at
:55:23. > :55:26.Huddersfield and get through this one and we've got a fifth round to
:55:27. > :55:35.look forward to so we'll see to it getting through is a good way of
:55:36. > :55:39.putting it. We were talking about Knockaert a few weeks ago and you
:55:40. > :55:42.are all set out. You are a Premier league side playing the championship
:55:43. > :55:49.and your fans feel this could be the season. I was just talking about
:55:50. > :55:53.this with some guys and we don't get anything for being first in January.
:55:54. > :55:56.We have tried to instil this in the club and we know we have still got a
:55:57. > :56:00.lot of work to do in the second half of the season. There are a lot of
:56:01. > :56:04.good teams in the second of the championship. We want to get there
:56:05. > :56:07.but there no guarantees. You got that setup, structure and the
:56:08. > :56:11.manager behind the team. Do you feel you need anything else to click on?
:56:12. > :56:16.I think we just want to try and keep everyone fit, try and avoid
:56:17. > :56:20.suspensions, red cards and bookings. And in the championship, you need a
:56:21. > :56:25.bit of luck and I think last year we lacked a bit of luck at key times.
:56:26. > :56:28.But we want to try and you going. We are a humble club but we've got very
:56:29. > :56:32.modest beginnings and we've been through a lot over the years so if
:56:33. > :56:37.we were able to it, it would be good. How have you got to where you
:56:38. > :56:42.are today? I played up the old stadium and I look brighter now and
:56:43. > :56:44.you've come 1 million miles. So professional, the stadium is
:56:45. > :56:48.amazing, the team are doing so well. I think you've got a fantastic
:56:49. > :56:52.manager. How have you achieved in such a short space of time? We are
:56:53. > :56:58.lucky, our chairman has invested a huge amount of money in the club, in
:56:59. > :57:01.infrastructure, the stadium, the training ground. He's also got out
:57:02. > :57:03.of his way to hire the best possible people at all levels and Chris
:57:04. > :57:07.Hughton has done a fabulous job since he came into the football club
:57:08. > :57:14.and we're very lucky to have him. We wish you all the best. Thanks for
:57:15. > :57:18.talking to us. It is currently Liverpool 0-1 Wolves at Anfield. You
:57:19. > :57:22.can follow the game across the BBC. This is how warm welcome we've had
:57:23. > :57:28.from Lincoln. After the game, we've been invited to someone's house for
:57:29. > :57:34.pie and chips. I will see you there! A warning, Dion Dublin has got a big
:57:35. > :57:42.appetite! Predictions on the BBC website from Radio 1's Adele Roberts
:57:43. > :57:45.and 1Xtra's A.Dot are on the BBC Sport website. Highlights of the
:57:46. > :57:49.Aussie open women's final between the Williams sisters is on BBC One
:57:50. > :57:53.in 15 minutes. Owen said hello so he is going to say goodbye. So straight
:57:54. > :58:01.down that camera. Over to you, I went from Lincoln. Just a peer. So,
:58:02. > :58:08.over to you! What is coming up later? I mentioned it to you
:58:09. > :58:13.earlier. Oh, the magic of the cup! There you go. We will leave you with
:58:14. > :58:17.something you loosened up for a brilliant weekend. Owen, you are a
:58:18. > :58:26.star. See you all again! Bye-bye for now.
:58:27. > :58:51.That is an absolute present. What a fantastic track from Aaron Ramsey.
