:00:08. > :00:21.Previously on Formula 1... Hamilton wins! I'm OK. We've got an accident.

:00:22. > :00:23.Incredible. The greatest moment of my life, thank you so much. Abu

:00:24. > :02:08.Dhabi. I don't think anyone thought he was

:02:09. > :02:18.doing the right thing, going to Mercedes.

:02:19. > :02:29.Lewis is a very aggressive, very quick guide. He was almost

:02:30. > :02:50.unbeatable. England! He just won the race. 2014 World Championship!

:02:51. > :03:01.Why did he win it? He was more consistent. Qualifying, he did a

:03:02. > :03:11.better job. That makes such a big difference in the battle.

:03:12. > :03:18.Lewis is a very quick driver, I will give him back. Probably one of the

:03:19. > :03:23.quickest guys ever in a Formula 1 car. Three World Championships, you

:03:24. > :03:29.are in a very small group of individuals. Definitely one of the

:03:30. > :03:40.great ones. Three world titles. The final race

:03:41. > :03:45.in the afternoon sunshine, warming the Yas Marina Circuit. Before the

:03:46. > :03:50.evening envelops the track and the sun sets on the 2015 championship.

:03:51. > :03:54.Last year there was a championship at stake here and double points. Not

:03:55. > :04:00.this time but there are plenty of reasons to want to claim victory.

:04:01. > :04:04.Hello, and welcome to the season closer. Formula 1's final full rate

:04:05. > :04:12.this year, and what a year it has been. This car, this driver and of

:04:13. > :04:18.course this team. -- final foray. We know the 1-2-3, but what is this

:04:19. > :04:22.race all about for you? Well, I want to see a big fight at the beginning.

:04:23. > :04:29.I don't want to see team orders, I want to see Rosberg and Hamilton

:04:30. > :04:36.fight it out there and square. I want to see Force India on the

:04:37. > :04:38.podium again. I heard Toto Wolff say last night he would never let the

:04:39. > :04:43.drivers do their own thing because he thought they would lose every

:04:44. > :04:47.time. I'm not so sure about that, I think it is a defence mechanism, and

:04:48. > :04:51.management have to do what they are doing, giving priority to the lead

:04:52. > :04:55.car. That said, we want to see them go wheel-to-wheel, winner takes all,

:04:56. > :05:02.with no championship at stake. What about the last race for a driver? Do

:05:03. > :05:05.you take it into the winter with you or does it merge into the rest of

:05:06. > :05:08.the season? If you have a good result, you take it with you, if you

:05:09. > :05:12.have a bad result, you write it off. For the teams, this is when the hard

:05:13. > :05:18.work starts, trying to manufacture the new cars. For the driver, it is

:05:19. > :05:22.a time to unwind. We know Lewis goes to America and spends a lot of time

:05:23. > :05:26.there. He says he is starting to ramp up his training before 2017,

:05:27. > :05:31.can you believe, when the cars will be five seconds quicker. It is a

:05:32. > :05:37.longer-term view, but as for the season as a whole, we know it is too

:05:38. > :05:41.late for Nico, an amazing run, but he needed to deliver it a bit

:05:42. > :05:46.earlier to take the championship. Back to Abu Dhabi, the crowd are

:05:47. > :05:51.applauding. A band is playing. They make a really good job of this

:05:52. > :05:55.event. It has emerged over the last seven years they have had it, it has

:05:56. > :06:00.grown into now one of the most important races on the calendar. It

:06:01. > :06:05.is up there with Monaco. We all love Silverstone. Some iconic races. Some

:06:06. > :06:10.of them are no longer up there. Struggling for money, whatever. Abu

:06:11. > :06:14.Dhabi has brought a new level to everybody, what they are aiming to

:06:15. > :06:18.produce in terms of the circuit, the amenities and the welcome they bring

:06:19. > :06:24.is quite simply amazing. A lot of British fans come. Craig David is

:06:25. > :06:29.behind us, he is performing tonight. Lots of pop stars. It really is a

:06:30. > :06:33.terrific atmosphere. Quite a good idea if we have a look at the

:06:34. > :06:38.season, it has been a long old season. It seems like yesterday we

:06:39. > :06:43.pitched up in Melbourne, moving from the East to Europe, a quick trip to

:06:44. > :06:46.Canada before returning to the historical heart of the sport that

:06:47. > :06:52.Eddie was talking about. After nine events, it was five wins to

:06:53. > :07:01.Hamilton, three for Rosberg and one for Vettel. It is now ten wins for

:07:02. > :07:06.Lewis, five wins for Nico and three for Sebastian Vettel, but not a good

:07:07. > :07:15.day for the German yesterday. Here is lead, with qualifying. A puncture

:07:16. > :07:19.right at the chequered flag, Alonso was pushed out by his team-mate

:07:20. > :07:24.Jenson Button. He had his best session, qualifying in 12. Sebastian

:07:25. > :07:30.Vettel did not have time for his quick lap and had to settle for

:07:31. > :07:36.16th, but Ferrari have been strong this weekend. Kimi Raikkonen's lap

:07:37. > :07:41.was good enough for third. Sergio Perez thought third-place might be

:07:42. > :07:49.his, he sat behind the Mercedes for much of Q three, his best qualifying

:07:50. > :07:51.of 2015. The Mercedes drivers had traded places throughout qualifying

:07:52. > :07:56.and Lewis Hamilton looked like he would get his first qualifying pole

:07:57. > :08:00.position since the Italian Grand Prix, but Nico Rosberg took pole

:08:01. > :08:06.position by three tenths of a second. I was ecstatic with that

:08:07. > :08:10.lap, it felt awesome. Very happy because usually Saturday, it doesn't

:08:11. > :08:16.count for anything, so it's always OK and relaxed, but today it was

:08:17. > :08:20.cool. It has not been the best run of qualifying, but I still have got

:08:21. > :08:27.three wins out of those races. We'll be working as hard as I can.

:08:28. > :08:30.Mercedes have had 15 front row lock-outs this season, the most in

:08:31. > :08:39.Formula 1 history. Valtteri Bottas was disappointed

:08:40. > :08:40.with the lack of speed in his Williams and could only manage

:08:41. > :08:54.sixth. Sainz has out-qualified Verstappen

:08:55. > :09:13.10-9 this year. It is Grosjean's last race for

:09:14. > :09:17.Lotus. A personal test for Nico Rosberg, six on the bounce, but a

:09:18. > :09:22.tiny and costly error for Ferrari and that could be difficult for

:09:23. > :09:25.Vettel today. I expect him to be able to come through and give us

:09:26. > :09:30.some excitement, a different strategy, and I expect him to use

:09:31. > :09:34.his tyres which he has gained from not taking part in further

:09:35. > :09:37.qualifying to good effect. That said, Kimi in third has not been

:09:38. > :09:43.able to deliver the results for the team. Is it too little, too late?

:09:44. > :09:49.Can he challenge Mercedes? What do you make of this mistake? Not the

:09:50. > :09:52.first this year. It is disappointing for everybody. Disappointing for the

:09:53. > :09:59.team and also for the driver. I don't know why this seems to happen

:10:00. > :10:04.so often with Ferrari. Do you think it is arrogance at times? They can

:10:05. > :10:08.be quite cocksure. Of course they are. All sorts of problems

:10:09. > :10:11.yesterday, different penalties, the stewards were involved, but I think

:10:12. > :10:17.they just took their eye off the ball. A massive mistake here. Think

:10:18. > :10:23.about this, Vettel could have fought for the front row of the grid, and

:10:24. > :10:26.we need to see action. We know Raikkonen is not as quick as Vettel

:10:27. > :10:32.but yet he is third on the grid. Can he win? Unless the two in front

:10:33. > :10:37.having big problem, I don't think he can. Vettel could have pulled it off

:10:38. > :10:42.because it is his kind of clap. Not a good day for Sebastian Vettel but

:10:43. > :10:48.a terrific day for Sergio Perez. -- his kind of crack. Sergio Perez has

:10:49. > :10:53.been terrific all weekend and Lee caught up with him. The good news,

:10:54. > :10:56.it is not just speed in terms of qualifying, great speed on Friday as

:10:57. > :11:02.well which must bode well for this race. 20 of reasons to be

:11:03. > :11:07.optimistic. The pace we showed yesterday, the conditions. -- plenty

:11:08. > :11:11.of reasons. We have to be optimistic. I have nothing to lose,

:11:12. > :11:17.the championship position is secure for the team and myself. We will

:11:18. > :11:23.give it all, from Lap 1 onwards. Try to get a very strong result today.

:11:24. > :11:27.If you get a good start, can you challenge the pace of Kimi's Harare

:11:28. > :11:38.or will you be defending the people behind? I will possibly be defending

:11:39. > :11:47.Kimi. It would be a big challenge to stay ahead of Kimi. On Friday,

:11:48. > :11:52.Ferrari was fastest on the track. As you said, the championship and

:11:53. > :11:56.driver places are almost guaranteed. Does that mean you can take a bit

:11:57. > :12:00.more of a risk on strategy? We know how good you are on the tyres, and

:12:01. > :12:05.we want an exciting race until the end. Me too, looking forward to

:12:06. > :12:10.doing everything that is possible today. Certainly we will give our

:12:11. > :12:15.best, we would be aggressive and tried to get a strong result to

:12:16. > :12:19.finish what has been a great year for the team and personally also for

:12:20. > :12:26.me. It certainly has, have a great Sunday. He looks confident, Eddie.

:12:27. > :12:30.Nothing to lose, what a terrific season Force India have had. They

:12:31. > :12:34.had to start with last year's car, but they are in fifth and that is so

:12:35. > :12:41.vital. Absolutely. Securing fifth place. I love that Sergio Perez was

:12:42. > :12:45.critical about his time at McLaren, he said they held him back, they

:12:46. > :12:49.released him after one year. In most terms, the driver would be washed

:12:50. > :12:55.up, but he has come back and made himself look good again. The guy who

:12:56. > :13:01.won LeMond 's, Hulkenberg, he is beating him. -- Le mans. Not many

:13:02. > :13:06.people would have believed that at the beginning of the year. Has

:13:07. > :13:16.Sergio Peter in a step up in his personal driving craft this year? --

:13:17. > :13:20.Sergio taken a step up. I think so. He has always shown this incredible

:13:21. > :13:24.feel and ability to make his tyres last. That has been a trend growing

:13:25. > :13:28.through his career. Jenson Button would be another driver that has

:13:29. > :13:32.something special when it comes to the transitional weather conditions.

:13:33. > :13:37.He clearly has that. Does he have the outright speed of Lewis

:13:38. > :13:40.Hamilton, whoever your favourite fastest driver happens to be? We

:13:41. > :13:47.have not had a chance to see that, but Hulkenberg is no slouch. He took

:13:48. > :13:51.a pole position at Williams. We have to use that as a benchmark and it

:13:52. > :13:55.would suggest he has matured into a great racing driver. The

:13:56. > :13:58.championship standings going into the last race. The first three

:13:59. > :14:02.places are consolidated but the fight for fourth place is

:14:03. > :14:03.fascinating, just a point between the fantastic pair of Valtteri

:14:04. > :14:16.Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen. Force India guaranteed fifth place,

:14:17. > :14:23.the highest ever position, in Brazil. Toro Rosso could equal the

:14:24. > :14:31.best position of six if they can beat Lotus. 2015, like last year,

:14:32. > :14:35.was dominated by the powerhouse that is Mercedes. Yesterday, a story

:14:36. > :14:39.broke in the paddock. Mercedes asked the Formula 1 governing body to

:14:40. > :14:43.clarify certain rules, amid the relationship between Formula 1 and

:14:44. > :14:53.the new American team HAAS. Their relationship. -- sorry, between

:14:54. > :15:00.Ferrari and HAAS. When you are a new entrant, you are not official until

:15:01. > :15:04.the next year's entry list is announced. HAAS announced two years

:15:05. > :15:08.ago to the world that they were going to enter Formula 1, partnering

:15:09. > :15:09.Ferrari with the world that they were going to enter Formula 1,

:15:10. > :15:15.partnering Ferrari with their gearbox and engines, using their

:15:16. > :15:18.wind tunnel. I don't have the restrictions in place for the other

:15:19. > :15:23.teams, so there was a concern that HAAS were doing all of this testing

:15:24. > :15:26.in the Ferrari wind tunnel and maybe Ferrari were gaining a benefit. It

:15:27. > :15:31.would appear the stewards have given a long explanation as to why they

:15:32. > :15:33.don't believe any penalty has to be applied, but retrospectively they

:15:34. > :15:37.are going to close down that loophole for the future, because

:15:38. > :15:42.Mercedes asked the question, technically they could enter another

:15:43. > :15:46.team into Formula 1 and take the benefit for one or two years of

:15:47. > :15:54.allowing them to test. A very grey area. Ferrari have got away with

:15:55. > :16:01.this. Not gaining a direct benefit. We have got Toto with Tom.

:16:02. > :16:08.It Six pages of a full. Mercedes were the ones who rode to the FIA

:16:09. > :16:15.seeking an explanation, what have you learned? I was just trying to

:16:16. > :16:20.get a clarification going forward. Some of the details of the

:16:21. > :16:22.regulations are a bit vague and allows various interpretation and we

:16:23. > :16:25.don't want to set a foot wrong. That is why we said going forward can you

:16:26. > :16:31.explain to us how you would interpret that? Is this because

:16:32. > :16:34.Mercedes 12 in Bach in a relationship with a third party

:16:35. > :16:40.always at specific reference to Ferrari and their relationship with

:16:41. > :16:44.the new HAAS team? It was about us and our relationship going forward

:16:45. > :16:46.with a partner team, whether we can establish some kind of cooperation,

:16:47. > :17:00.and to understand the framework. Are you disappointed that Ferrari

:17:01. > :17:03.have been punished -- not been punished retrospectively, because it

:17:04. > :17:12.seems clear that they have gained a relationship from their relationship

:17:13. > :17:17.with HAAS. Quin I am not at all unhappy with what has gone out.

:17:18. > :17:21.There is some ambiguity from that and if they have ridden that wave,

:17:22. > :17:31.hats off to them. There is no bitterness about it. It is just

:17:32. > :17:39.about clarity going forward. That is clear now. It is good for wall

:17:40. > :17:46.teams. It doesn't sound like sour grapes from Mercedes, it sounded

:17:47. > :17:50.like, am I being too kind? You had feelings about this all year about

:17:51. > :17:58.this relationship, how do you feel about it now? It has come out it is

:17:59. > :18:01.and the US. That is very generous towards Ferrari, because quite

:18:02. > :18:04.clearly there is another way of interpreting it in that they did

:18:05. > :18:09.gain an advantage. It doesn't matter if it is big or small, was there an

:18:10. > :18:15.advantage gained? Clearly, in my view, I think there was. However,

:18:16. > :18:26.clarity needed to be very clear to the teams, not just to Mercedes but

:18:27. > :18:29.to everybody, that until you are registered, and once the acceptance

:18:30. > :18:33.letter is there, it is deemed to be the cut-off period, you are then on

:18:34. > :18:38.your own. At least we have the analogy on the situation, clarity.

:18:39. > :18:42.Was there an advantage gained? I think there was, I think most people

:18:43. > :18:46.do think there was an advantage to Ferrari but they got away with it. A

:18:47. > :18:50.lot of fans might think it was quite good that Ferrari had been able to

:18:51. > :19:03.close the gap. I wish they had done a bit more! The some calls for teams

:19:04. > :19:06.like on that be able to catch up. This is an interesting track in Abu

:19:07. > :19:09.Dhabi. Everyone going for proposition yesterday but the

:19:10. > :19:16.question is is at the place to be here? Only one race in six has been

:19:17. > :19:20.won from pole position. Pole position on the right-hand side got

:19:21. > :19:25.the most grip, however it has been that inside line that seems to have

:19:26. > :19:28.had the better start here with the junior formula. Also the last couple

:19:29. > :19:32.of years. If we look back at last year, we have Lewis Hamilton on Grid

:19:33. > :19:36.two on the right-hand side. On the left-hand side Nico Rosberg.

:19:37. > :19:40.Hamilton is the one that gets the power-down, he makes the great

:19:41. > :19:43.launch into the first corner. Also the Williams looking to go past Nico

:19:44. > :19:50.Rosberg. Everybody in that inside track seems to get a good run in

:19:51. > :19:54.towards Turn 1. One year beforehand, Sebastien Vettel doing exactly the

:19:55. > :20:00.same to his Red Bull team-mate. Gets that inside launch. Very important,

:20:01. > :20:04.especially this weekend, when Mercedes have said they will let

:20:05. > :20:09.their two drivers race, however they will get them equal stress G options

:20:10. > :20:14.between the two. One other thing about this race track, it has long

:20:15. > :20:17.straights, however it doesn't actually offer up a tremendous

:20:18. > :20:20.amount of overtaking opportunities. But we have seen on a couple of

:20:21. > :20:25.occasions for example Daniel Ricciardo last year had a really

:20:26. > :20:30.good run right from the back of the grid. Here he is diving down the

:20:31. > :20:33.inside in to, one of the areas where there is a lot of overtaking,

:20:34. > :20:45.squeezed through the chicane. At this moment he gets ahead. Because

:20:46. > :20:47.the track is very wide, and because there are two DRS zones, they use

:20:48. > :20:56.the first one to catch up, the second to attack. Here we have one

:20:57. > :21:00.of the overtakes I think of the last few years on this track. Round the

:21:01. > :21:05.outside by a young Sebastien Vettel, squeezing Jenson Button in a perfect

:21:06. > :21:09.way. He gets a run into the baking area. Because the track is wide and

:21:10. > :21:15.allows it, you can get it done. That area of the track, 11, 12, 13, 14,

:21:16. > :21:19.is where you will see most of the overtaking. Vettel needs to do it.

:21:20. > :21:25.16th on the grid, look for him to try an alternative tyre strategy.

:21:26. > :21:31.Soft, soft, super-soft, think that the way he will go. We are joined by

:21:32. > :21:35.motorsport royalty, a world champion, Mark Webber. For those who

:21:36. > :21:40.did not watch yesterday, Mark was in, must have felt pretty good. It

:21:41. > :21:47.was a great effort from Porsche. A tough battle from Audi to win the

:21:48. > :21:51.amount of races that we did. It was a nice little result on the back of

:21:52. > :21:54.a pretty tricky year. In the end we got the results quicker than we

:21:55. > :21:58.expected. And exciting end to the season. You have been keeping your

:21:59. > :22:04.ion this lot this year, what do you make of it, who stood out for you? I

:22:05. > :22:16.think Lewis clearly deserves to be world champion. Got the measure of

:22:17. > :22:20.Nico. He's back in the picture but unfortunately too late for all of us

:22:21. > :22:23.neutrals. Ferrari have not quite been in the window against Mercedes.

:22:24. > :22:27.You see the young guys coming through, particularly the young Red

:22:28. > :22:31.Bull guys. Young Max is awesome and young Carlos. That is good. We need

:22:32. > :22:35.that fresh blood coming in because they have a testy establishment

:22:36. > :22:39.going on. These older guys will be there forever. We need these young

:22:40. > :22:43.guys coming in to keep the excitement for the fans. Are you up

:22:44. > :22:46.for a challenge, because we would like to get some work? Would you

:22:47. > :22:53.like to give us a guided tour around your old garage? We will give you a

:22:54. > :22:57.camera. Yes, here we are, it is about half an hour until the race

:22:58. > :23:00.start, 35 minutes, but also five minutes before the pit lane opens.

:23:01. > :23:04.We can see as usual a nice time for all the guests arrive in the garage,

:23:05. > :23:07.his ever thing is ready, that is why we are here as well because we want

:23:08. > :23:14.have a good look around the cars and the prep is in its final stages.

:23:15. > :23:19.Daniil Kvyat's are here, I am still fascinated, having been away from

:23:20. > :23:21.Formula 1 for a few years, but the detail on this front wing, look at

:23:22. > :23:27.all the incredible front wing detail that we have, Adrian still has a bit

:23:28. > :23:30.of love for this car, even though doesn't have the biggest engine in

:23:31. > :23:33.the back it is still a beautiful chassis which is up and get some

:23:34. > :23:37.results this year. The mechanics, all the work is done, looks pretty

:23:38. > :23:41.relaxed in the garage. Danny is pretty relaxed, the race strategy

:23:42. > :23:46.would have been done by now, they have gone through all that in the

:23:47. > :23:50.prerace meetings. That is very important. I will have a quick chat

:23:51. > :23:55.to Leroy. Number one mechanic on this car, he was my front end Balta

:23:56. > :23:59.man as well. All of the work is done, just giving it a bit of a

:24:00. > :24:03.Masood ready for the race? Yes, polished, all of the bodywork take

:24:04. > :24:07.on, just trying to get the temperature down, waiting for the

:24:08. > :24:12.green light can see how the race pans out. What do you generally do,

:24:13. > :24:15.one lap to the grid laps to the grid? The pit exit is a bit

:24:16. > :24:19.different here for a practised art, so how does that affect you, in

:24:20. > :24:25.terms of getting organised? What are the mechanics doing from here to the

:24:26. > :24:28.other side of the pit wall? We just take our equipment, all of the stuff

:24:29. > :24:31.you see with us, we make sure when the car gets to the grid it is

:24:32. > :24:37.cooled down but will probably do one that the grid. All sounds very

:24:38. > :24:41.relaxed. Interesting point about the fuel, getting the temperature down,

:24:42. > :24:44.there is a temperature of how close they can get to the ambient

:24:45. > :24:47.conditions, because cool fuel is very important for the performance

:24:48. > :24:51.of the car. They are just playing the numbers on that now. More and

:24:52. > :24:55.more guests coming to the garage. For the drivers, to be honest, I

:24:56. > :25:00.wasn't a big fan of having all this, just wanted to get my helmet on, you

:25:01. > :25:04.can see him getting ready there, young Daniil Kvyat, he won't have to

:25:05. > :25:11.focus too much on getting comfortable in the car, because when

:25:12. > :25:14.he gets in the car for the real race, that is when he needs to take

:25:15. > :25:17.more time and the guys will make extra detail to get him comfortable

:25:18. > :25:33.for a long 90 minute, to our Grand Prix. Absolutely brilliant. Give

:25:34. > :25:39.that man a job! We gave awards made up of our esteemed panel Christian

:25:40. > :25:44.Horner, and Toto Wolff. We chose four categories, the first was for

:25:45. > :25:52.start of the year and we awarded it to both Williams drivers at

:25:53. > :25:56.Silverstone. Filipe, you were missed with a driver but what is it like as

:25:57. > :26:01.a team? We won again! We are excited. What will you say to

:26:02. > :26:04.Williams, can you have a piece of this trophy? Rayne that was a good

:26:05. > :26:15.start. It was the best of the year. We already gave a trophy to the

:26:16. > :26:23.clutch man. So he cheated a lot. Unbelievable start, Bravo, guys.

:26:24. > :26:27.Then for drive of the year, after much deliberation, it went to Romain

:26:28. > :26:34.Grosjean for his against all odds podium performance at Spa. Driver of

:26:35. > :26:39.the year, Romain Grosjean for a number liveable podium. Thank you. I

:26:40. > :26:45.think 2012, you offered me manufacturing or something like

:26:46. > :26:49.that. It means a lot. It was difficult but we did it. What do you

:26:50. > :26:54.think, did the judges make the right decisions? I think so, always tricky

:26:55. > :26:56.when you have a full season. Sometimes, even race victories look

:26:57. > :27:03.straightforward and boring when there is a lot going on. He is very

:27:04. > :27:10.rarely wrong, Adam. I know the extra quid I page you would have value.

:27:11. > :27:14.Romain Grosjean, it really, do you remember that weekend, he turned up

:27:15. > :27:17.late and they had bailiffs at the door it was extraordinary. I don't

:27:18. > :27:21.want to say there is a lot of similarity here, but when Jordan

:27:22. > :27:24.went there in 91, we have the bailiffs on the door too. The great

:27:25. > :27:28.Michael Schumacher did not qualify on the Friday because we couldn't

:27:29. > :27:33.get the cars out until we had paid. They are situations that will last

:27:34. > :27:40.forever. So the podium that Grosjean had, he will never forget it. The

:27:41. > :27:46.team looked down and out. It gave him that extra spark to let him

:27:47. > :27:48.continue. A special treat at the end of this from Toto Wolff. A couple

:27:49. > :28:06.more awards. You are a bit like Phil and Holly

:28:07. > :28:14.from, what is that programme? ITV This Morning. Quite sweet. You could

:28:15. > :28:20.hold hands. Do you watch that I'm a Christian? Know I don't. Overtake of

:28:21. > :28:28.the year, any suggestions? I love the move on Malton are the -- to do

:28:29. > :28:33.what he did was fantastic. Everyone stood there holding their breath and

:28:34. > :28:39.he managed to do it. I like the one where the starter and overtook him.

:28:40. > :28:47.Taking somebody on the outside, they are just Howedes so that politely.

:28:48. > :28:52.You have to be committed. That is what I meant. But then Valtteri

:28:53. > :28:59.Bottas on Kimi Raikkonen in Mexico. COMMENTATOR: Reikan and is off! That

:29:00. > :29:06.is what you would call payback. The one I really enjoyed this year was

:29:07. > :29:10.Daniel Ricciardo passing your man Hamilton, who hasn't been passed at

:29:11. > :29:16.all this year. That was an enjoyable moment, it was brief but it was

:29:17. > :29:19.enjoyable. I am afraid Spa from me and Max. The best overtake of the

:29:20. > :29:24.year, can you tell us which one it was? Leigh I guess it is Spa. Thank

:29:25. > :29:31.you very much full stop in general lately I have not won many trophy so

:29:32. > :29:35.I am very happy with this one. For a guy who can't even rent a hire car,

:29:36. > :29:38.he has demonstrated he is a prodigious talent. You can see that

:29:39. > :29:44.pattern in the great ones who stop they come into the sport very

:29:45. > :29:49.talented, with less respect for all the big names. Somebody complaining

:29:50. > :29:54.you can't overtake, we have seen races from Max where he was

:29:55. > :30:02.extraordinary. Thank God we signed him up 12 months ago. For how long?

:30:03. > :30:08.We won't go into this, that is not this programme. For at least the

:30:09. > :30:15.next decade! Driver of the year. There can only be one winner, Pastor

:30:16. > :30:20.Maldonado! He had some good saves this year. He has had some great

:30:21. > :30:25.crashes as well. Max Verstappen has been clearly the Rookie of the year

:30:26. > :30:29.and has provided ultimate racing entertainment, but we have got a

:30:30. > :30:31.three-time world champion in Lewis Hamilton breaking records, equalling

:30:32. > :30:37.Jackie Stewart, an extraordinary year for him. For me, he is driver

:30:38. > :30:43.of the year. What I love about racing drivers is when they are able

:30:44. > :30:46.to win a psychological war with 13 weight -- with their team-mate.

:30:47. > :30:51.Equal machinery. I have loved watching him what he has done this

:30:52. > :30:53.year. He has been fantastic. He is a personality who has sometimes been

:30:54. > :31:01.seen as controversial but there is no doubt about his skill in the car.

:31:02. > :31:08.John Surtees said something really nice about him. He said he just

:31:09. > :31:15.loves him in the car. Whether you like him or not, in the car he is

:31:16. > :31:19.exceptional. He gives us box office, he is huge entertainment. I remember

:31:20. > :31:23.Bernie said he deserves everything he gets because he has earned the

:31:24. > :31:27.right. The fact he has this lifestyle, hanging out with pop

:31:28. > :31:32.stars and film stars, crashing his cars in the middle of the night,

:31:33. > :31:36.doing all these things, it must be driving Toto completely mad because

:31:37. > :31:41.it is everything you don't want as a team boss. But he turns up and

:31:42. > :31:44.delivers, and Nico Rosberg must be thinking, what on earth have I got

:31:45. > :31:49.to do? This guy is in Barbados hanging out with all these people, I

:31:50. > :31:55.am in the gym everyday, but he still turns up and beats me. Anyone who

:31:56. > :31:59.can have his hair like he does, that deserves an award in itself. You

:32:00. > :32:03.have been voted by an esteemed group of team bosses and Eddie Jordan as

:32:04. > :32:08.the driver of the year. Congratulations. Look after this. I

:32:09. > :32:12.will, I cherish every one! The team have done a great job of making me

:32:13. > :32:21.look good, just grateful for every award I get. It is still shiny.

:32:22. > :32:30.Thank you. No problem. 2015, can you summarise it in a single word?

:32:31. > :32:45.Mercedes. Four words. Greedy! We beat Red Bull! Anyway... Verstappen.

:32:46. > :32:48.Can we do one thing for the British viewers who have been desperate for

:32:49. > :32:51.this all year? Can Toto Wolff just say, I'll be back? It makes me look

:32:52. > :33:07.silly... Hasta la vista, baby. I can't tell you the manner of

:33:08. > :33:12.people that ask us to get Toto to say that. Live pictures of Lewis

:33:13. > :33:17.Hamilton's car. The pit lane is open, the cars are going out. Mark

:33:18. > :33:24.Webber, just peering over. How on earth does he fit this all into his

:33:25. > :33:29.life, Mark? He is a busy boy. A bit of psychological games too, he likes

:33:30. > :33:32.to understate the pressure of the job, comes and delivers every

:33:33. > :33:38.fortnight and then goes and does what he does to release the

:33:39. > :33:43.pressure. Exactly. Still waiting for him to go out. Eddie, what do you

:33:44. > :33:46.think about today? Can he salvage a win from the last race of the

:33:47. > :33:51.season? He said he would like to. Of course he would like to. My view is

:33:52. > :33:57.he will do everything in his power to make sure that he does. There he

:33:58. > :34:02.goes. In my view, it's a big task. Pole position is not is cut out to

:34:03. > :34:06.be on this particular track. So the advantage is not quite as quite as

:34:07. > :34:11.dominant as in other places. So he is in the right place? He is in a

:34:12. > :34:16.really good place to take the fight on the first lap. It is a really

:34:17. > :34:22.short run, it is definitely possible... The ideal line goes

:34:23. > :34:26.through the middle of the front row, so neither of them have an ideal

:34:27. > :34:34.starting position. Whoever is in the first corner and Leeds has the high

:34:35. > :34:40.ground. Let's cross over to Tom. Before I talk about strategy, only

:34:41. > :34:47.19 cars on the grid this afternoon. Roberto Merhi. On the pit lane

:34:48. > :34:52.because his car was taken out of parc ferme to change the suspension.

:34:53. > :34:59.Tyre wear is not going to be an issue. Tyre degradation am the rate

:35:00. > :35:04.at which the performance drop off happens is an issue. That is why two

:35:05. > :35:09.stops is 20 seconds faster than one stop. As for when they will take

:35:10. > :35:13.place, you can inspect the first one very, very soon. And look out for

:35:14. > :35:19.the gaggle, Red Bull, Williams and Force India... Force India ruined

:35:20. > :35:24.the race of Daniil Kvyat when they undercut him in the first stop in

:35:25. > :35:29.the Niko Kovac mode went on to beat him. The second stop maybe in the

:35:30. > :35:36.mid-30s. -- Nico Hulkenberg went on to beat him. Deployment of the

:35:37. > :35:44.energy Systems, two really long straights in sector to. So it is not

:35:45. > :35:48.possible to do two laps with full deployment. So it is all about the

:35:49. > :35:52.most efficient energy deployment system, which is Mercedes this

:35:53. > :35:57.afternoon. Mark, nodding in agreement with that. What are the

:35:58. > :36:02.drivers thinking right now? They are looking for clutch preparation to

:36:03. > :36:05.get the confidence, talk to the engineers having taken the car to

:36:06. > :36:15.the grid. Make sure the brakes are working well, the steering, the

:36:16. > :36:19.fundamentals. Lewis is having a look at a few more things, but in terms

:36:20. > :36:23.of the last little thing, getting together, the drivers have a little

:36:24. > :36:28.toilet break and then full focus on the start of the race. The first

:36:29. > :36:35.stint. What is your crystal ball telling you, Eddie? I still think

:36:36. > :36:41.Nico has an advantage. Three tenths yesterday in qualifying, a big

:36:42. > :36:46.margin. What was Lewis doing? Did he make a mistake? It was a mighty lap,

:36:47. > :36:49.if he can show more of that pace, which he should have done during the

:36:50. > :36:56.season when it was important, then he will win this race, Nico. I think

:36:57. > :37:04.Rosberg will win, Lewis second, and who knows? Kimi kind of drops off in

:37:05. > :37:10.the race, and maybe Perez can pull off a podium.

:37:11. > :37:17.Hello and welcome if you are just joining us, Abu Dhabi, the final

:37:18. > :37:21.race of the season. Nico Rosberg took his sixth consecutive pole

:37:22. > :37:25.position. His team-mate could not match him yesterday, he lines up

:37:26. > :37:31.alongside him. Arguably on the best side of the grid. The second row is

:37:32. > :37:35.interesting. Kimi Raikkonen. Ferrari made a timing mistake yesterday so

:37:36. > :37:40.Vettel is back in 15th. Sergio Perez on the second row of the grid. We

:37:41. > :37:44.have been joined by Mark Webber today, this is a great prospect for

:37:45. > :37:47.the start of the race. It is, the battle for strategy on the front

:37:48. > :37:52.with the two Mercedes. In the last race in Brazil, Nico rebuffed the

:37:53. > :37:58.challenge of Lewis Hamilton after the first stop, he even tested the

:37:59. > :38:02.pit wall to a degree. Interesting to see how that goes, two long

:38:03. > :38:10.straights when they can look at the DRS. And the battle for the podium

:38:11. > :38:17.is awesome. Sergio is driving well, Kimi wants to finish well, and Seb

:38:18. > :38:22.driving from the back. Anyway that Seb can end up on the podium today,

:38:23. > :38:26.Eddie? We have seen such brilliant drives from him in the past. One has

:38:27. > :38:31.to reflect a couple of years ago when he won the World Championship,

:38:32. > :38:34.how he went about that. He has a relationship with this circuit, so

:38:35. > :38:39.don't rule him out. He will take a different strategy and he will be

:38:40. > :38:42.doing so quick. He is brilliant around here. Lewis is also

:38:43. > :38:48.brilliant. We just saw him going wide, what did you make of that? He

:38:49. > :38:51.might have been looking at a different braking point. The wind

:38:52. > :38:54.direction looks similar to yesterday, so these things come into

:38:55. > :39:00.play, the drivers trying to get some information. Next time he arrives

:39:01. > :39:05.there, he could be side by side with Nico. He wants to know the absolute

:39:06. > :39:08.point he could brake at, so he is gathering information. He is not a

:39:09. > :39:12.triple world champion for nothing, he might have been digging for

:39:13. > :39:19.information or he might have a problem with the car, who knows? The

:39:20. > :39:26.braking, who knows? Not long to find out what he was doing. What about

:39:27. > :39:30.this man, Sergio Perez? What a fantastic qualifying in fourth.

:39:31. > :39:35.David is on the grid. The magic number, 44, the winning number for

:39:36. > :39:41.the world champion, triple world champion Lewis Hamilton. A big year

:39:42. > :39:50.for him also the 44th year of the UAE. A lot of British fans out there

:39:51. > :39:54.have made the trip over. Anyone who has not told their loved ones they

:39:55. > :39:58.are here at the Grand Prix have just got themselves in trouble! Hoping to

:39:59. > :40:03.have a chat with Nico Rosberg later. He has just left the grid for a

:40:04. > :40:06.comfort break. In the meantime, a word from Niki Lauda. A lot of talk

:40:07. > :40:13.going into this race that you would do gloves off for the boys, the

:40:14. > :40:16.championship is decided, but it is business as normal? Business as

:40:17. > :40:20.normal, the last race. Lewis wants to prove in the last race that he is

:40:21. > :40:26.the master. Nico was the master in the last couple of races, so I am a

:40:27. > :40:30.bit nervous. I am a bit confused, Lewis is saying something has

:40:31. > :40:36.changed in the car, how can that be? Is it a red herring? Has something

:40:37. > :40:40.changed in the car? Lewis is not happy with the car, but at the same

:40:41. > :40:44.time Nico went five tenths quicker. This is the problem he has, it was

:40:45. > :40:48.the other way around at the beginning of the season, and

:40:49. > :40:52.suddenly Nico woke up and drove outstanding. We will see how the end

:40:53. > :40:58.of the race will be. Congratulations on your success. From one legend,

:40:59. > :41:02.another legend, Mika Hakkinen. Welcome to Abu Dhabi, you don't come

:41:03. > :41:09.to many Grands Prix. What do you make of 2015? I think it has been a

:41:10. > :41:13.great year. A great result for Mercedes what they are doing, but

:41:14. > :41:17.the season is not over. Really looking forward to seeing... It

:41:18. > :41:22.feels to me like the first Grand Prix, a lot of excitement. Of

:41:23. > :41:28.course, I hope a great result for Valtteri Bottas and the mitt and a

:41:29. > :41:35.great race. They don't really speak to each other. -- Valtteri Bottas

:41:36. > :41:41.and Kimi. Do they speak to you? Enjoy the race.

:41:42. > :41:45.The middle of the grid... Nico Hulkenberg, talking to his host

:41:46. > :41:56.broadcaster. We can see Sergio Perez, Lee had a

:41:57. > :42:00.chat with him earlier. He is with his national broadcaster. Maybe a

:42:01. > :42:04.word from a man we don't normally hear from. Listening to your

:42:05. > :42:07.favourite music, sorry to disturb you, but reasonable qualifying, a

:42:08. > :42:12.big gap from your team-mate. Not much more you can do really with the

:42:13. > :42:16.car at the moment? Qualifying was good for me. Probably the biggest

:42:17. > :42:21.gap I have had. Last race of the season, that is encouraging. Your

:42:22. > :42:25.team-mate is starting from the pit lane, a suspension change, no

:42:26. > :42:29.concern on your car? Not at all, they just needed to change a few

:42:30. > :42:33.bits from the set-up. He will be coming from behind but I'm sure I

:42:34. > :42:41.have got a good car. Racing drivers come in all shapes and sizes. He is

:42:42. > :42:45.very petite, Will. Making their way down to the front for the national

:42:46. > :42:49.anthem. I will stay around here, I would like a word with Nico when he

:42:50. > :42:56.comes back to the grid. In the meantime, we will keep an eye out.

:42:57. > :43:06.Actually... A quick word for the BBC? No! To be honest, I was asking

:43:07. > :43:12.Kimi to do happy birthday to my goddaughter twice this weekend and

:43:13. > :43:22.he kept saying bargeboard. -- he kept saying no. Checking something.

:43:23. > :43:26.Maybe his bingo results. Not the smoothest of qualifying but you are

:43:27. > :43:30.still in the mix. What are you looking for this afternoon? Hoping

:43:31. > :43:34.to be in the mix and looked after the tyres. Make the strategy work

:43:35. > :43:39.and hopefully it will bring us some good points. We wish you luck.

:43:40. > :43:45.Meanwhile, I have seen Nico Rosberg has made his way beyond the rope.

:43:46. > :43:52.I'm not allowed to go beyond that rope, but let me see... He is

:43:53. > :43:59.talking to Bernie, so not much luck there. The drivers are pretty much

:44:00. > :44:02.lined up. Let's see if we can grab any stragglers. Ron Dennis there,

:44:03. > :44:08.seems to be causing a lot of controversy this weekend with his

:44:09. > :44:12.drivers. Sir Jackie Stewart. You are regular at the Grands Prix. What

:44:13. > :44:16.have you made of this event so far? This Grand Prix has a capacity

:44:17. > :44:21.crowd, a record crowd, that is great for Formula 1, the last race of the

:44:22. > :44:29.season. Fantastic attendance. It is a great event, enjoy it, Sir Jackie.

:44:30. > :44:33.Let's see if I can get some clarity. Ron Dennis greeting the former

:44:34. > :44:38.partners, the board member and CEO of Daimler. Three of the board

:44:39. > :44:47.members. I wonder if he is ruling the move to Honda? -- regretting the

:44:48. > :44:56.move to Honda? Jenson Button coming forward. A good qualifying, you must

:44:57. > :44:59.be happy. I enjoyed it. Looking at the circuit, you would not say it is

:45:00. > :45:07.a good one for us, but we did all right. In a rush? Yes. We will let

:45:08. > :45:12.him go. It's see if we can find anyone bringing up the rear, so to

:45:13. > :45:18.speak? Felipe Massa... They got told off last time... Congratulations on

:45:19. > :45:23.your season. Very impressive. The man that has to sign the big checks

:45:24. > :45:27.in Formula 1. Can't help but feel they have had a massive return on

:45:28. > :45:32.that. Niki Lauda, we spoke to him earlier. The gentle man you can see

:45:33. > :45:35.here with the natty hairstyle, he normally keeps out of the

:45:36. > :45:45.limelight, Mr Donald McCain see. Look at him running away! -- Donald

:45:46. > :45:49.McKenzie. Paul and Kevin, can I ask a question? You are a star of

:45:50. > :45:57.television, I know. Very briefly, two stops this afternoon? Maybe Kimi

:45:58. > :46:00.has another option with the set of super softs. Maybe that will make

:46:01. > :46:04.the difference for him. Thank you very much. It is the last Grand Prix

:46:05. > :47:12.of 2015. This is my sad face. So there we go, as the sun begins to

:47:13. > :47:15.set on the 2015 season, those planes look amazing, that look so cold.

:47:16. > :47:25.Very cool, I was staying down the road a couple of days ago and a

:47:26. > :47:31.run-through, it was awesome. Look at that incredible smoke display. It is

:47:32. > :47:34.ready to rock 'n' roll. Ready to rock 'n' roll. We heard Mika

:47:35. > :47:41.Hakkinen saying it has been a great year. You would do if you were a

:47:42. > :47:46.Mercedes ambassador. He got that plug in very appropriately. Of

:47:47. > :47:50.course they know each other. To be fair, Hakkinen has been around and

:47:51. > :47:58.has been a brilliant world champion so he is entitled to his view. But

:47:59. > :48:04.very amusing grid walk, Kimi as bubbly and effervescent and chatty

:48:05. > :48:09.as always! DC had a tough gig. Kimi, my God, he is hard work. I couldn't

:48:10. > :48:13.get much out of him and I was racing against him. There is Lewis getting

:48:14. > :48:19.ready now. Listening to his music. Fernando playing his role, meeting

:48:20. > :48:25.all of the guests. All of the build-up. A pretty relaxed last

:48:26. > :48:35.race, everyone is in a pretty good mood. That is what the event pulls

:48:36. > :48:40.out in everyone, the last race. Let's have a closer look at the

:48:41. > :48:43.track. Great pole lap from Nico Rosberg, four tenths faster almost

:48:44. > :48:51.than Lewis Hamilton. Let's see where that difference was found.

:48:52. > :49:00.Final qualifying of the season, the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

:49:01. > :49:04.Five kilometre circuit. No surprise, a battle of the two

:49:05. > :49:07.Mercedes team-mates, Nico Rosberg on the left, Lewis Hamilton on the

:49:08. > :49:10.right, and we are about to witness to drivers at the top of their game

:49:11. > :49:18.taking the maximum out of their cars. As we come up through the only

:49:19. > :49:24.high-speed section, turn to, Turn 3, absolutely flat. You can see Nico

:49:25. > :49:30.has just under a car length. Both neat and tidy. They then accelerate

:49:31. > :49:36.out, a short shoot to the hairpin at seven. The risk is the second

:49:37. > :49:41.earlier. -- Lewis goes to second earlier. You can see Nico Rosberg

:49:42. > :49:46.has opened the distance to a full car length as they go down the 1.2

:49:47. > :49:50.kilometre back straight, more than 200 mph, and an adjustment from

:49:51. > :49:56.Lewis Hamilton, we saw his dashboard change. Both stopping the car

:49:57. > :50:00.superbly as they go under more than five G underbraking. The second of

:50:01. > :50:10.the DRS zones in this race track, opportunities for passing. Lewis

:50:11. > :50:14.Hamilton has close the gap slightly. Five G into Turn 11, 12, both

:50:15. > :50:21.incredibly tidy through this section. Now coming towards the

:50:22. > :50:26.Monte Carlo style part of the track. Again, Nico Rosberg busy at the

:50:27. > :50:35.wheel. 59.5 on his dashboard, going forward on his brake balance. Both

:50:36. > :50:40.tidy as they go under the Yas Marina hotel. At the end of the lap, you

:50:41. > :50:46.will see Nico Rosberg in these two corners, 20 and 21, a massive three

:50:47. > :50:51.tenths of a second on Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton with a little

:50:52. > :50:54.oversteer. When they come across the line Nico Rosberg takes his sixth

:50:55. > :50:58.straight pole position of the season and once again Hamilton's

:50:59. > :51:03.frustrated. Will he be able to convert second to first by the first

:51:04. > :51:08.corner? That is the first corner, Nico Rosberg unmatched yesterday.

:51:09. > :51:12.Mark Webber, where will the action happen? I hope there is a good

:51:13. > :51:15.battle on track. I don't want them to be tested in the pit lane,

:51:16. > :51:21.undercuts or over cuts, whoever is in second after the first lap, I

:51:22. > :51:27.want to see a great battle on track. Get these DRS system 's going. It is

:51:28. > :51:35.the last race, they both want to finish with a win. Maybe it is an

:51:36. > :51:41.offence, why not. We don't disagree with that. We were starved of it

:51:42. > :51:45.bit. Toto has told us he want anything other than the team

:51:46. > :51:52.interference with what the team will decide. Who wins what. I am against

:51:53. > :52:17.that, that is what I have to say. I remember so well, the Senna Prost

:52:18. > :52:21.days. They were team-mates and fought hard against each other. They

:52:22. > :52:26.are generating a lap time in a similar way but it will be a testing

:52:27. > :52:30.to see how it unfolds. A cracking selfie on the grid. Claire Williams

:52:31. > :52:34.walking past us, what about Williams, we have not mention them?

:52:35. > :52:38.They were at it off the pace, the fight between Valtteri Bottas and

:52:39. > :52:41.Kimi. I think Williams were slightly off the pace they were lucky they

:52:42. > :52:44.were so strong in the beginning of the season because believe me the

:52:45. > :52:49.team that has impressed me is Force India towards the end of the season,

:52:50. > :52:52.and maybe they will make a big push for this next year. Valtteri Bottas

:52:53. > :52:58.can beat Kimi Raikkonen? I don't think so, I think Kimi will hang on

:52:59. > :53:02.to where he is. The crystal ball is being shined as we look at pictures

:53:03. > :53:09.of Daniel Ricciardo. Christian Horner. The last race of the 20 15th

:53:10. > :53:14.season. For the final time, Lee and Tom are pit side, DC and Ben are

:53:15. > :53:22.commentating. Ladies and gentlemen, may the desert action comments.

:53:23. > :53:32.This is a little bit tricky. What do you make of this season? What is not

:53:33. > :53:41.to admire? Lewis Hamilton joins Jackie Stewart, Niki Lauda, Nelson

:53:42. > :53:52.Piquet, Ayrton Senna and three times world champions. Brilliant. You know

:53:53. > :53:56.what's coming, don't you? Brilliant. But it is hardly the fault of

:53:57. > :54:04.Mercedes. The car still way out ahead of the rest. 15 wins this

:54:05. > :54:10.season. The Mercedes flying machine. Lewis Hamilton won ten races. Nico

:54:11. > :54:18.Rosberg five, including the last two. But that was when the

:54:19. > :54:23.championship was already one. Where was the drama, the tension? The

:54:24. > :54:30.scrap for the spoils? Where were the others? McLaren, let's not even go

:54:31. > :54:38.there. Fernando Alonso didn't join McLaren the car parked his car. --

:54:39. > :54:42.didn't join McLaren to top up his candles. Red Bull, from ruling the

:54:43. > :54:46.roost the squabbling with Renault about engines. Thank goodness for

:54:47. > :54:55.the rush of youth. That is fantastic! Thank goodness for signs

:54:56. > :54:58.of the giant awakening. Ferrari is back! CHEERING

:54:59. > :55:04.But then get me wrong. It wasn't all bad. Not by a long chalk. That is

:55:05. > :55:19.the greatest moment I will ever have.

:55:20. > :55:30.COMMENTATOR: From Melbourne in March two at Derby in November -- to Abu

:55:31. > :55:38.Dhabi, the sunsets over the spectacular architecture of the Yas

:55:39. > :55:41.Marina Circuit. It only took 16 for Lewis Hamilton to achieve his dream

:55:42. > :55:45.of winning a third title but he has fond memories here, having wrapped

:55:46. > :55:48.up his second championship here 12 months ago and he will be all out

:55:49. > :55:52.for victory to finish his season in style. The Mercedes car is well

:55:53. > :55:56.suited to this circuit as it has been to nearly all the venues this

:55:57. > :55:59.year. Fast in a strong line but nimble and grippy through the

:56:00. > :56:03.technical final sector of the lap. Nico Rosberg made the most of that

:56:04. > :56:05.to take pole position by a measurable marginalia and, but

:56:06. > :56:14.Hamilton has twice won this race from second in the grid, and much

:56:15. > :56:17.will depend on the first corner. Rosberg to maintain the advantage

:56:18. > :56:25.she got in Mexico and Brazil but it could be more difficult. Looking

:56:26. > :56:28.over the marina area, we are in the Yas islands, one of the many islands

:56:29. > :56:34.that make up Abu Dhabi. Just going into twilight. Temper 27 degrees,

:56:35. > :56:37.track temperature 29. The cars should not be struggling for grip

:56:38. > :56:41.too much in these conditions and it really is a stunning place to look

:56:42. > :56:46.over. Will it provide us with a good race? With Vettel starting in fifth

:56:47. > :56:51.-- down in 15th position, that electrifies things a bit. We have

:56:52. > :56:54.the battle up front between the two Mercedes team-mates. All the titles

:56:55. > :56:57.are basically decided except for those little run-offs between the

:56:58. > :57:01.two fins of Kimi Raikkonen and Valtteri Bottas and perhaps for the

:57:02. > :57:05.final spot in the top ten, Nico Hulkenberg hanging onto that at the

:57:06. > :57:08.moment but Max Verstappen still with a chance of finishing top ten in the

:57:09. > :57:13.championship. Rosberg on pole position, his seventh of the season.

:57:14. > :57:17.Hamilton looking for his 11th victory to match last year. On the

:57:18. > :57:22.second row, Kimi Raikkonen, who has won a before and Sergio Perez,

:57:23. > :57:25.outstanding in qualifying for Force India. Daniel Ricciardo in fifth

:57:26. > :57:30.place ahead of the Williams of Valtteri Bottas. Then Nico

:57:31. > :57:38.Hulkenberg trying to hang on to 10th place in the championship, and

:57:39. > :57:42.Felipe Massa, a 10th of Bottas. Carlos Sainz's team-mate Max

:57:43. > :57:45.Verstappen lined up 11, and Jenson Button, one of his best qualifying

:57:46. > :57:50.performances of the season ends well. Number 13 starts 13th, Pastor

:57:51. > :57:54.Maldonado alongside Felipe Nasser, the same amount of points in the

:57:55. > :57:58.championship. Sebastien Vettel will be starting on the harder compound

:57:59. > :58:02.tyre, he has Fernando Alonso next to him. Marcus Ericsson in the Sauber,

:58:03. > :58:08.Romain Grosjean starting in 18th, a gearbox change pushes him back. Will

:58:09. > :58:20.Stevens starts on the final row, but his team-mate Roberto Merhi has got

:58:21. > :58:25.to start from the pits. Sebastien Vettel, way further back than he

:58:26. > :58:26.should have been. The other performance but Ferrari

:58:27. > :58:30.miscalculated their timings. He comes from 15th position on the

:58:31. > :58:36.grid. He has come from the back a couple of times in the past. Let's

:58:37. > :58:42.see if he can perform well on this occasion. Massive concentration for

:58:43. > :58:49.Sergio Perez. Can he possibly get a second podium finish for Force

:58:50. > :58:54.India? They have never had two in a single season. Kimi Raikkonen won

:58:55. > :58:57.this race in 2012 with Lotus. Famously he says leave me alone, I

:58:58. > :59:00.know what I'm doing. He has got to try to do that again on this

:59:01. > :59:05.occasion. That is pretty much what he just said to me on the great! Not

:59:06. > :59:11.quite as politely! He just walked off. No big surprise. This is his

:59:12. > :59:17.big opportunity to make good on what has been a difficult season.

:59:18. > :59:21.Sebastien Vettel has come into that Ferrari team and made it his own. It

:59:22. > :59:25.is most like he didn't even have time to say hello to Kimi on the way

:59:26. > :59:28.in. So we expect him to try and get in amongst this battle at the front.

:59:29. > :59:31.They will be difficult because the underlying pace different in

:59:32. > :59:36.qualifying was half a second, and in the race we know Mercedes have some

:59:37. > :59:41.extra engine modes to play with as well. Rosberg on that pole position

:59:42. > :59:47.but what can Hamilton do? The 90th front row start in 167 Grand Prix

:59:48. > :59:50.for Hamilton. A pretty phenomenal statistic. And of course Hamilton

:59:51. > :59:54.has won this both in 2011 and last year when he won the race and won

:59:55. > :59:59.the championship and Rosberg started on pole on that occasion as well. We

:00:00. > :00:05.are waiting for the cars to get away. Lights flashing on the back of

:00:06. > :00:09.their cars as they prepare to go away, and the sun just dropping

:00:10. > :00:14.behind the grandstands as they read the engines up and get ready for the

:00:15. > :00:18.off. There go the front row guys. Hopefully we get everybody away

:00:19. > :00:21.cleanly. Roberto Merhi will stay in the pits during the formation lap

:00:22. > :00:26.and join them after they have completed this entire lap. For

:00:27. > :00:30.Rosberg, a 22nd career pole position, matching Fernando Alonso

:00:31. > :00:36.now, in terms of number of pole positions in his career. On board

:00:37. > :00:39.looking for a first victory for quite some time for stopping has not

:00:40. > :00:43.won since his return to Ferrari. You might have won here for notice in

:00:44. > :00:44.the past, took a victory in Australia as well but he hasn't won

:00:45. > :00:57.since he came back to Ferrari. Looking mainly at aid to stop race,

:00:58. > :01:03.three stops is a possibility. -- at a two stop race. Tom, interesting

:01:04. > :01:10.that Vettel has decided to go for the harder tyre, the soft tyre,

:01:11. > :01:16.going into this race? Last year, Massa finished second after a first

:01:17. > :01:22.stint of 30 laps on the prime tyres. Expect something similar from Massa.

:01:23. > :01:26.One thing to point out, the teams haven't been able to do any practice

:01:27. > :01:34.starts at the exit of the pit lane this weekend, such is the unique

:01:35. > :01:40.nature of the pit lane exit. So they might feel a bit underprepared

:01:41. > :01:44.compared to other races. A one-point gap between Valtteri Bottas,

:01:45. > :01:49.currently holding fourth place, and Kimi Raikkonen in fifth place. If

:01:50. > :01:55.they finished where they are right now, Rosberg would move ahead of

:01:56. > :02:06.Bottas. A close tussle for tenth between Hulkenberg, Grosjean and

:02:07. > :02:09.Verstappen. Toro Rosso and Lotus are still fighting for position in the

:02:10. > :02:15.Constructors' Championship. Nine points separating them, but if Lotus

:02:16. > :02:20.failed to score and Toro Rosso came seventh and eighth, potentially they

:02:21. > :02:30.could move into sixth and beat Lotus. Hamilton is complaining of a

:02:31. > :02:35.vibration from his brakes, the team have said they are a bit cool. Going

:02:36. > :02:40.around at safety car speed. Nico Rosberg, slowing down the whole

:02:41. > :02:53.field. Doesn't want to sit on the grid any longer than he needs to.

:02:54. > :03:01.Might ask very nicely to the last man on the grid to line up ASAP.

:03:02. > :03:07.Will Stevens, last on the grid. Hamilton is actually making him wait

:03:08. > :03:14.a little bit. Taking a bit longer to line up, which means Nico's tyres

:03:15. > :03:24.will be a bit cooler by the time they unleash. National Day in the

:03:25. > :03:30.UAE. A big celebration for them. Lewis Hamilton is looking for his

:03:31. > :03:35.44th career win, so it would be a coincidence if it comes together for

:03:36. > :03:41.him. The last race of 2015 is about to get under way in Abu Dhabi.

:03:42. > :03:55.A great start by Rosberg! Hamilton really slow, under pressure for

:03:56. > :04:00.second. Contact at the back. Spearing into a Lotus, Alonso.

:04:01. > :04:06.Yellow flags in that area of the grid. A brilliant getaway by Nico

:04:07. > :04:14.Rosberg. Raikkonen is in third, Perez is in fourth place. Right over

:04:15. > :04:24.the curb, Kyvat. A brilliant pass from Sainz. Massa is on the outside

:04:25. > :04:32.of Daniil as well. Tight down to the chicane. Hamilton in second, chasing

:04:33. > :04:40.after Rosberg. Fanning out. Bottas trying to get involved. Ricciardo

:04:41. > :04:42.tried to go outside Massa. On board with Felipe Massa. Great midfield

:04:43. > :04:58.action. Massa in tenth I believe. Side-by-side! Max Verstappen,

:04:59. > :05:03.challenging with Daniil Kvyat. I think he has made it. The cup the

:05:04. > :05:08.corner so he will have to give the place back, which he does

:05:09. > :05:13.reluctantly and then gets pushed off the circuit, allowing Bottas to get

:05:14. > :05:18.past him. Vettel is right behind him already, look at this. Was that

:05:19. > :05:26.contact? Vettel trying to fight his way through. He has Button and Nasr

:05:27. > :05:31.chasing. A dramatic first lap. Vettel trying to make as much ground

:05:32. > :05:35.up as he possibly can, but nearly contact. You can see the nervousness

:05:36. > :05:39.in the drivers. You normally see this at the beginning of the season,

:05:40. > :05:45.but this is the final bit of fun before the end of the season. A lot

:05:46. > :05:52.of weaving around. Some winners and losers. Vettel, in 12th already.

:05:53. > :05:59.Rosberg, leading from Hamilton, then Raikkonen.

:06:00. > :06:05.Alonso, into the pits. A puncture on the front right. So difficult to get

:06:06. > :06:12.the car up in the air to get the wheel off. Maldonado was the other

:06:13. > :06:18.car involved. He is not playing any further part. No points for the

:06:19. > :06:22.Lotus of Maldonado. Toro Rosso have one car in the points at the moment,

:06:23. > :06:27.not the other one. We will see how that develops. Bottas in the

:06:28. > :06:32.Williams, tucked in behind Daniil Kvyat in the Red Bull. Interesting

:06:33. > :06:38.to get a replay of that first corner incident. It looked like Alonso

:06:39. > :06:40.speared into the Lotus. Easy to jump to conclusions that Maldonado was

:06:41. > :06:50.the root cause. An indication, the Williams has not

:06:51. > :06:55.been as strong around this racetrack. Red Bull carrying more

:06:56. > :07:00.speed in the corners. Noticeable how early he was on the brakes. Speed

:07:01. > :07:06.advantage in the straight line but not able to convert it. They have

:07:07. > :07:12.been suffering into the corners. He had to get more speed off the car to

:07:13. > :07:16.get it turned into the corner. Settling down, as they burned

:07:17. > :07:25.through this phase of the race. Some teams will be fuel limited. Chance

:07:26. > :07:33.of the safety car, which neutralises the need for fuel. Bottas did not

:07:34. > :07:40.get past Kyvat and he has Max Verstappen in his mirrors. DRS is

:07:41. > :07:46.now enabled, so that could change things on the attacks down the

:07:47. > :07:50.straight. Bottas with Mercedes power in the Williams, he should have good

:07:51. > :07:55.straight-line speed. He has been topping the speed traps through

:07:56. > :08:01.qualifying at 338 kilometres per hour, 210 mph. A lot faster than the

:08:02. > :08:08.Renault powered cars. Rosberg still ahead of Hamilton, the gap is 1.6

:08:09. > :08:15.seconds. Raikkonen is hanging in there. Carlos Sainz, attacking

:08:16. > :08:20.Massa... The Brazilian gets past the Spaniard, only just gets turned in.

:08:21. > :08:27.The Toro Rosso had better drive initially, but I don't see the

:08:28. > :08:33.advantage of DRS. The Williams, with Mercedes power, still able to

:08:34. > :08:40.outperform the Toro Rosso. Bargeboard has gone behind Kyvat...

:08:41. > :08:48.Has he? He overshot the corner. -- Bottas has gone behind Kyvat. Almost

:08:49. > :08:55.losing the flap as he comes back across the front of the Williams. A

:08:56. > :08:59.feisty battle, this one, between Bottas and Kyvat. Kyvat is not going

:09:00. > :09:07.to give up on ninth place at this early stage if he can avoid it.

:09:08. > :09:13.Behind Bottas is Verstappen. Vettel has got stuck behind them. Button

:09:14. > :09:19.hanging on in there at the moment, better than I expected. 13th place.

:09:20. > :09:21.At the back of that group. They don't have to straight-line speed

:09:22. > :09:28.because they can't harness as much energy, but the chassis, when you

:09:29. > :09:33.look at the analysis, is around the third best chassis out there. I am

:09:34. > :09:40.sure they have made further improvements. Not much wrong with

:09:41. > :09:44.the car. Ron Dennis said it is not the best car based on the analysis,

:09:45. > :09:48.it is part of a rebuilding process, they just need more horsepower and

:09:49. > :09:55.then we would see Jenson more towards the front. Romain Grosjean

:09:56. > :10:03.started from the back with a gearbox penalty, he is now in 15th at the

:10:04. > :10:11.moment. The blue Sauber under attack. Grosjean in his final race

:10:12. > :10:17.will want to throw everything into this.

:10:18. > :10:24.Nasr, trying to fight back down the outside, for 14th place. Grosjean

:10:25. > :10:30.should be able to hold on as they come into the brakes. Nasr getting

:10:31. > :10:34.the advantage in the second DRS zone, able to sneak back but not

:10:35. > :10:38.enough. Grosjean had the inside line. That is one ticked off for the

:10:39. > :10:56.Frenchman. Rosberg aced the start. It looked to me that Alonso down

:10:57. > :11:08.staff the Sauber of Ericsson. -- Alonso bounced off. Vettel doesn't

:11:09. > :11:12.make a lot of progress initially. Alonso, contact, he just got

:11:13. > :11:21.snagged. His rear wheel got caught by the Sauber. It unleashes him into

:11:22. > :11:25.Maldonado. The sixth time Maldonado has been out on the first lap of a

:11:26. > :11:31.Grand Prix this season, a completely innocent victim this time. Nasr has

:11:32. > :11:35.just come into the pits. Massa, keeping it nice and tidy.

:11:36. > :11:44.Building the speed. His team-mate Bottas, as he lifts, it allows the

:11:45. > :11:51.Toro Rosso to go outside the both of them. It was Sainz. Sainz, around

:11:52. > :11:56.the outside of the Red Bull, an amazing start. We have been talking

:11:57. > :11:58.so much about Max Verstappen, but Sainz, three cars in the space of

:11:59. > :12:16.two corners, fantastic. Almost contact between the Toro

:12:17. > :12:21.Rosso of Sainz and Daniil Kvyat. It cost him initially, but with Toro

:12:22. > :12:27.Rosso on the wide line, Daniil tried to sneak up the inside again.

:12:28. > :12:35.He didn't give me any space... Max, I have to say, when you have a car

:12:36. > :12:38.in front of you, they have the choice as to whether they stay on

:12:39. > :12:44.the racing line. Because he knew there was no barrier, he knew he

:12:45. > :12:48.could drive off the circuit. If it was Monte Carlo, we saw Max giving

:12:49. > :12:59.Maldonado space... A fairly early stop. Daniil Kvyat.

:13:00. > :13:03.We wondered who would be first to go for the undercut. A lot of teams

:13:04. > :13:07.reckoned they would stop fairly early to get an advantage and switch

:13:08. > :13:15.on to the new tyre, and it is Daniil Kvyat who has gone for it first.

:13:16. > :13:20.Blink and you miss it stuff. Incredible. Tough qualifying for

:13:21. > :13:27.Daniil Kvyat, but he is still aiming for points. The leader, Nico

:13:28. > :13:31.Rosberg, by 1.7 seconds, from Lewis Hamilton in second. Kimi Raikkonen

:13:32. > :13:36.very much staying in touch at the moment. On board with the other Red

:13:37. > :13:42.Bull, Daniel Ricciardo. Having a go down the inside of Hulkenberg. He

:13:43. > :13:46.has taken the place, a great move, using DRS down the straight, being

:13:47. > :13:51.sucked along by the Mercedes powered Force India. The trouble is he may

:13:52. > :13:57.lose the place... Yes, Hulkenberg has that much more straight-line

:13:58. > :14:03.speed. And again, can Ricciardo hold on? Yes, he can. Anyone who think

:14:04. > :14:09.that Red Bull are complaining for the sake of it... I think he was

:14:10. > :14:19.tagged before he took out Maldonado, Alonso. There was contact between

:14:20. > :14:23.him and the Sauber of Nasr. Not really sure that is entirely

:14:24. > :14:26.justified. If you are the piggy in the middle, you are not the root

:14:27. > :14:30.cause of the problem. We couldn't quite see the beginning of it.

:14:31. > :14:39.Vettel, has he made a move on Verstappen? I think Vettel has taken

:14:40. > :14:48.the position, yes, so he is now in 11th. More pit stops, Perez is in,

:14:49. > :14:54.Ricciardo and Felipe Massa. Quite early stops, should still be a two

:14:55. > :15:01.stop race for these guys. A slight delay for Massa.

:15:02. > :15:07.It is early, but not entirely a surprise. We know the undercut is

:15:08. > :15:14.incredibly powerful here. The slightly unusual and in my opinion

:15:15. > :15:19.on necessary underpass. -- unnecessary underpass. Putting the

:15:20. > :15:25.cars below ground where the fans cannot see them, I fail to see what

:15:26. > :15:28.benefit that is. It does not give us as much wheel-to-wheel action as

:15:29. > :15:39.they leave. That is my complaint over! Kyvat made the earlier pit

:15:40. > :15:44.stop... The Williams had to respond to Kyvat making the early stop. On

:15:45. > :15:49.board with Valtteri Bottas, who has not been in the pits yet. Hanging on

:15:50. > :15:55.to sixth place at the moment. Putting Carlos Sainz under more

:15:56. > :16:02.pressure now. The race leader. Pushing the tyres a bit more. Copy

:16:03. > :16:08.that. We are happy. Rosberg, pushing a bit more, looking good in the

:16:09. > :16:12.first sector, moving away from Hamilton, tenth by tenth. In that

:16:13. > :16:18.statement lies the problem in Formula 1 right now. The management

:16:19. > :16:22.reply was to look after the tyres, that has been a source of

:16:23. > :16:27.frustration for many of the drivers over the last couple of years. As we

:16:28. > :16:34.know, Toro Rosso heading to the pit, we will see whether they can use

:16:35. > :16:38.that... Interesting to see whether Williams... A good example of how

:16:39. > :16:43.powerful stopping earlier and getting a fresh set of tyres can be.

:16:44. > :16:47.Carlos Sainz is in, so is Niko Hulkenberg. Rosberg has set a new

:16:48. > :16:55.fastest lap. Where will Carlos Sainz come back out? He hasn't stalled,

:16:56. > :17:00.has he? No the rear jack had the wheels off the ground, a bit of

:17:01. > :17:03.confusion. 6.2 seconds, that will really hurt Carlos Sainz, a shame

:17:04. > :17:07.because he has been putting together a brilliant weekend so far. We

:17:08. > :17:12.handed out the trophy for the start of the year. Not in the classic

:17:13. > :17:19.sense of getting to the first corner, but from turn two to five,

:17:20. > :17:22.incredible from Carlos Sainz. Just ahead of Felipe Massa. Mighty

:17:23. > :17:28.close. The Force India just getting out ahead of the Williams. Crucial

:17:29. > :17:31.from the point of view. Perez is cutting a swathe through here,

:17:32. > :17:37.getting past Ericsson. Fourth position because Ericsson has not

:17:38. > :17:42.been in the pits yet. Daniil Kvyat is behind them. Out of sequence now,

:17:43. > :17:46.some cars have stopped and some haven't. The leaders have definitely

:17:47. > :17:48.stayed out. Rosberg continuing to open up an advantage, up to 2.7

:17:49. > :17:59.seconds. It does look like Rosberg has a bit

:18:00. > :18:02.more pace here than Lewis Hamilton. This is not quite the situation we

:18:03. > :18:07.have seen in the last two races where Hamilton has been sitting

:18:08. > :18:13.there unable to overtake. Or does he? Is this a different strategy

:18:14. > :18:17.from Hamilton where he has been sitting 1.5 seconds behind in dirty

:18:18. > :18:21.air, struggling to put the pressure on Rosberg? Is he taking a different

:18:22. > :18:28.approach, will he run longer in the middle sector, as Bottas heads for

:18:29. > :18:35.the pits, and put on a set of super-softs later when the car is

:18:36. > :18:41.lighter. He has taken the front wing off, he has crashed into the front

:18:42. > :18:44.of Button, I think it was, so Bottas's races effectively over, in

:18:45. > :18:52.terms of getting a great result. What a shame that was! Is their

:18:53. > :18:55.damage to Button's car? There are procedures in place and the front

:18:56. > :19:02.jack man is watching to see whether you can release the car. They have a

:19:03. > :19:05.marker on the pit wall. Claire Williams, she had mentioned her

:19:06. > :19:08.frustration when some of the procedures have not quite worked for

:19:09. > :19:10.Williams. They don't want to be considered the underdog because they

:19:11. > :19:16.are a World Championship winning team and they want to win Grand

:19:17. > :19:22.Prix. Sadly that looks like a procedural error. Really struggling

:19:23. > :19:27.now. Front wing, and is telling horribly, just trying to get it back

:19:28. > :19:31.to the pit. But contact made. Alonso is back in the pit. I don't know if

:19:32. > :19:35.he has more of a problem but Fernando Alonso has just headed into

:19:36. > :19:39.the pit. Meanwhile, Rosberg leads this race. The drive-through for

:19:40. > :19:52.Alonso, the one we saw being handed out. Out on track now. Let's... He

:19:53. > :19:56.gets released, and the point at which, I am surprised he didn't see

:19:57. > :20:04.Jenson, maybe he didn't know that his car was the next one out. No

:20:05. > :20:09.question, more the responsibility of Williams than McLaren. Button is

:20:10. > :20:12.allowed to go near his box and it is the duty of the car being released

:20:13. > :20:18.to wait. We can see Jenson gets the signal from his team, cut across,

:20:19. > :20:24.and Bottas, that is going to make it a long afternoon. Such a shame.

:20:25. > :20:26.Effectively that is fourth place in the championship decided, if Reikan

:20:27. > :20:36.and finishes this race anyway. If he were not the finish, that would

:20:37. > :20:42.change things. They had a great double podium finish here last year,

:20:43. > :20:48.Williams, that situation under investigation by the stewards. Into

:20:49. > :20:59.the pits again comes Valtteri Bottas and a new front wing is prepared.

:21:00. > :21:03.RADIO: Can we box this lap? Kimi Raikkonen comes into the pits. A

:21:04. > :21:07.clean except for Valtteri Bottas but Reikan and has managed to stay in

:21:08. > :21:13.touch with the leaders, four seconds behind Hamilton at this point, not

:21:14. > :21:17.quite close enough to challenge but still in the hunt to a certain

:21:18. > :21:25.extent. Felipe Massa, still behind Nico Hulkenberg. At the moment, that

:21:26. > :21:33.puts him in 10th position. Vettel running in fourth place with a round

:21:34. > :21:43.of, great progress through the field. Nico Rosberg is the first of

:21:44. > :21:49.the two Mercedes to make the pit stop. Always gets initial choice of

:21:50. > :21:55.pit stop. Another great won by the team. 2.6 seconds. So much quicker

:21:56. > :22:06.than that. -- it looks much weaker than that. Ferrari, a fantastic job

:22:07. > :22:10.as well, Reikan and back on his way. Rosberg on the set of soft tyres.

:22:11. > :22:13.You have to be careful if you go side-by-side with somebody.

:22:14. > :22:22.Sebastien Vettel, as you mention, has not made a pit stop. Using that

:22:23. > :22:25.different shutter j to good effect, this is the module will of the

:22:26. > :22:33.tyres. They will be taking a hit early with a heavy fuel. So it will

:22:34. > :22:39.be interesting. Will Hamilton come out behind Vettel? It is quite

:22:40. > :22:44.likely I would think. Because Vettel has moved up in the order. Kimi

:22:45. > :22:51.Raikkonen, we will see what happens with him. Certainly going to be

:22:52. > :22:55.quite tricky for Lewis Hamilton. Perez trying to make his way down

:22:56. > :22:58.the inside of Romain Grosjean. Doesn't quite make it. Grosjean

:22:59. > :23:10.careful to give him a little bit of face. That is for fifth position in

:23:11. > :23:19.this race. Someday bray was flicked off the circuit. Didn't look like it

:23:20. > :23:20.came off his car. Maybe a piece of daybreak offer Williams. Contrasting

:23:21. > :23:35.lines. Felipe Massa attacked in behind.

:23:36. > :23:39.Dani Kvyat had a chance to catch up. This is all helping Hamilton for his

:23:40. > :23:44.pit stop. Will he be able to come out ahead of Sebastien Vettel?

:23:45. > :23:47.Rosberg just passing the start-finish. Vettel not far behind

:23:48. > :23:54.him. I think Vettel will get behind Hamilton. Looking good for the

:23:55. > :23:59.Ferrari. He has not made his pit stop yet. There will be a 5 second

:24:00. > :24:05.penalty for Valtteri Bottas. He will have that five seconds added to his

:24:06. > :24:09.next pit stop. His pit stop wasn't slower earlier, if anything it was

:24:10. > :24:13.too quick. Got out at just the wrong moment to clatter into the back of

:24:14. > :24:17.Jenson Button. So come Vettel is the one following Rosberg, in second

:24:18. > :24:24.place, Hamilton in third with Reikan and in fourth. That collision

:24:25. > :24:26.between Valtteri Bottas and Jenson Button have them straight in front

:24:27. > :24:30.of me, I don't want to influence the stewards but to me it looked like a

:24:31. > :24:35.civil case of mirror, signal, manoeuvre. Bottas should have seen

:24:36. > :24:40.Jenson coming in in my opinion, but he has a 5 second penalty. There you

:24:41. > :24:44.go, he is indeed deemed to be at blame. I am looking at the Ferrari

:24:45. > :24:55.pit wall, and thinking how long can Sebastien Vettel go on these tyres?

:24:56. > :24:58.Daniel Ricciardo makes the move on Marcus Ericsson, so he is released a

:24:59. > :25:03.little bit but is Hulkenberg going to be a will to do likewise?

:25:04. > :25:08.Meanwhile Perez and Grosjean, there is a little puff of smoke. I think

:25:09. > :25:13.he has made the move. They ended up crashing here if you years ago back

:25:14. > :25:17.in 2012. Perez and whether collided with each other and it took Grosjean

:25:18. > :25:22.out of the race. Thankfully this time they get through the section

:25:23. > :25:27.cleanly with no repeats. Dani Kvyat back of this group has caught up

:25:28. > :25:35.with Felipe Massa now. RADIO: Time to get stuck into it, tyres will be

:25:36. > :25:40.fine. Yes, you can see Hulkenberg has got past him. At times, fettle,

:25:41. > :25:51.just on a 47.8 on those prime tyres. Reikan and 40.7. -- 47.7. He has hit

:25:52. > :25:56.it hard to try to close the gap to Hamilton. It doesn't look like

:25:57. > :25:58.Vettel's lap times, about half a second down on Rosberg and also to

:25:59. > :26:03.be a will to stay out there for quite a long run. Whether he can get

:26:04. > :26:06.out with one-stop or not remains to be seen. From a time point of view,

:26:07. > :26:14.it is quick, so much complication with traffic. Reikan and has had a

:26:15. > :26:20.couple of fastest laps at the end of a Grand Prix. I wonder if he will be

:26:21. > :26:23.up to hang on the fastest lap here. Felipe Massa now bottled up behind

:26:24. > :26:32.Marcus Ericsson, who started on the harder compound tyres. He is just

:26:33. > :26:35.staying out there for the moment. Massa and Kvyat are queueing up

:26:36. > :26:41.behind the stop it is interesting that it can be quite demanding the

:26:42. > :26:46.past that Sauber. Massa takes the move down the inside to slip past

:26:47. > :26:51.the Sauber. I don't think it will be too long before Dani Kvyat is the

:26:52. > :26:55.same. He should pick up the DRS and be in a good position to an

:26:56. > :27:02.out-brake the Sauber into town 11 here. Heading down the straight.

:27:03. > :27:06.Here comes Dani Kvyat looking, but not enough space, though Eriksson

:27:07. > :27:10.locks up a wheel, almost an opportunity for Kvyat to complete

:27:11. > :27:13.the manoeuvre. He has a look up the inside now, side-by-side, we have

:27:14. > :27:21.seen it go wrong there before but that was brave stuff from Dani Kvyat

:27:22. > :27:26.. Good stuff from Eriksson as well. It was pointless trying to close the

:27:27. > :27:32.door. That would have been contact for sure. It comes Massa, big on the

:27:33. > :27:36.brakes down to 11. That is how he managed to make the move. Still

:27:37. > :27:39.fighting the car a bit on the corner. Tricky off-camera corners, I

:27:40. > :27:50.have had this conversation with designers before. There is a theory

:27:51. > :27:57.with some circuit scientists, as Vettel, a costly lock-up, has a

:27:58. > :28:01.damage that front tyre? Certainly put him under pressure from

:28:02. > :28:07.Hamilton, look at that. Hamilton needs to get past him pretty

:28:08. > :28:10.sharpish. He is going to go for it. Down the inside past Sebastien

:28:11. > :28:14.Vettel, and this is the second place. Vettel is on tyres that have

:28:15. > :28:20.been working pretty hard from the start of the Grand Prix. Hamilton is

:28:21. > :28:25.on a fresh set. Vettel will get DRS because of the activation point as

:28:26. > :28:31.well. Although he has lost out on the run to the chicane, you gain

:28:32. > :28:36.speed down the inside. As Hamilton damaged the tire by locking up in

:28:37. > :28:41.front of that section by the hotel on 17? It shows he is pushing. If

:28:42. > :28:44.you can use the slipstream from Hamilton able help them catch

:28:45. > :28:51.Hamilton ultimately and maybe take third. That is how the overtake took

:28:52. > :28:56.place. Last time around for Reikan, it was a 46.9. Reikan and you can

:28:57. > :29:02.see in the background is continuing this great form we have seen through

:29:03. > :29:07.qualifying. I wonder if anyone forgot the toll Kimi that the World

:29:08. > :29:13.Championship started in March. Still try to take fourth place, but that

:29:14. > :29:18.is looking much more straightforward now Bottas has had his troubles.

:29:19. > :29:22.Bottas is down in 17th place. Let's run through the entire order at this

:29:23. > :29:27.point. Rosberg ahead of Hamilton, Vettel in third place but waiting to

:29:28. > :29:31.make his first up. Reikan and is four. Perez hanging in there in

:29:32. > :29:36.fifth place ahead of Grosjean, who has also not made a pit stop yet.

:29:37. > :29:41.Ricciardo in seventh, Hulkenberg eight, Massa is ninth, panic fired

:29:42. > :29:45.complete the top ten. Eriksson is in 11th, waiting for him to pit stop,

:29:46. > :29:53.then in 12, Carlos Sainz ahead of first up, but only just. We are

:29:54. > :30:02.riding on board with Max Verstappen. Then we have Button in 14th place.

:30:03. > :30:08.Massa is 15. Roberto Merhi is 18th, Alonso at the lack of a field and

:30:09. > :30:10.one retirement, Pastor Maldonado. Saint IS needs to get past Eriksson

:30:11. > :30:29.ASAP otherwise he will -- I suspect that this point in the

:30:30. > :30:34.season, they need to get on with it. Might be a opportunity now for

:30:35. > :30:37.Carlos Sainz. That Sauber in a straight line is pretty handy. In

:30:38. > :30:41.the slipstream, get down the inside if he can. That should secure it in

:30:42. > :30:46.the braking zone. Carlos Sainz makes the move on Marcus Ericsson. Max

:30:47. > :30:51.Verstappen is the next tragedy so. It brings Carlos Sainz into 11.

:30:52. > :30:54.Still an opportunity for Toro Rosso to get some points finishes out of

:30:55. > :30:58.this Grand Prix. With Lotus not having a great time, a little bit

:30:59. > :31:03.hard to judge Romain Grosjean at the moment because he is sixth, but he

:31:04. > :31:08.is due a pit stop. Slightly out of sequence with the Toro Rossos. A bit

:31:09. > :31:13.of a lock-up from Max Verstappen. That is why we saw Vettel make a

:31:14. > :31:16.mistake a little while ago. That clean air is not running of your

:31:17. > :31:19.front wing. The consequence of that is always difficult to break into a

:31:20. > :31:24.corner, because the turning circle of the tire, as the Sauber heads for

:31:25. > :31:28.the pit. Max Verstappen released. With the turning circle of the tire,

:31:29. > :31:33.if you are breaking in a straight line, you can potentially have 100%

:31:34. > :31:34.of that tie available. As soon as you start to turn you have to

:31:35. > :31:45.release the brake. Finding the balance while trying to

:31:46. > :31:49.judge how much downforce you are losing, it is tricky. Kimi Raikkonen

:31:50. > :31:53.has caught team-mate Sebastian Vettel now, fighting for third.

:31:54. > :31:59.Different strategies from the two cars. They have both fought hard

:32:00. > :32:03.this year. In Russia, Raikkonen was pretty hard on Vettel but in the end

:32:04. > :32:08.Vettel did get past when he was quicker. He is going to let

:32:09. > :32:12.Raikkonen around the outside. Sensible, because they are on

:32:13. > :32:17.different strategies. If effectively fighting for third, but no point

:32:18. > :32:22.doing it right now. That means Vettel is 23 seconds plus the gap

:32:23. > :32:30.you can see behind his team-mate, who is one-stop behind. The time in

:32:31. > :32:35.the pit lane if you perform well is about 23 seconds, so Raikkonen needs

:32:36. > :32:40.to try and open up a 23 second gap to his team-mate to be able to

:32:41. > :32:45.effect his second stop if Vettel is only doing one stop. Raikkonen

:32:46. > :32:49.should find himself with better tyres and quicker at the end of the

:32:50. > :32:53.race, to try to overtake his team-mate. That is the theory and

:32:54. > :33:01.difference between one-stop two stops. Perez could still beat

:33:02. > :33:11.Sebastian Vettel if the Force India keeps going well. Ericsson, only did

:33:12. > :33:18.15 laps on the soft tyre. Would be very difficult for Vettel to make it

:33:19. > :33:26.a one-stop race. Teams thinking you have to do to stops minimum today. A

:33:27. > :33:36.6.7 second advantage over Lewis Hamilton now, Rosberg. Raikkonen has

:33:37. > :33:47.moved up into third. Fourth for Vettel. Let's see how far Grosjean

:33:48. > :33:55.can go before a pit stop. Keep pushing like this, try to stay on

:33:56. > :33:59.plan A. Interesting that Vettel would ask retrospectively... Not

:34:00. > :34:07.something you would normally associate with Seb.

:34:08. > :34:13.In the end, confirmed as the right thing to do. A pretty good

:34:14. > :34:19.relationship between Vettel and Raikkonen at Ferrari this year. I

:34:20. > :34:24.loved all my slower team-mates! Unfortunately most of mine were

:34:25. > :34:32.faster, so I hated them. It is an unusual one, isn't it? Anyone

:34:33. > :34:36.listening will know that I beat up on Kimi from time to time, but that

:34:37. > :34:40.is only because I have such a high regard for what he achieved early in

:34:41. > :34:45.his career, winning a World Championship. One of the fastest

:34:46. > :34:49.drivers of his generation. Doesn't seem to have been at the races for a

:34:50. > :34:53.lot of the season, but this is a great performance, something you

:34:54. > :34:57.expect from him. And of course he performed well to take the victory

:34:58. > :35:02.here a few years ago for Lotus. Mercedes in total control with

:35:03. > :35:06.Rosberg and Hamilton, although Raikkonen is only 3.7 seconds behind

:35:07. > :35:12.Hamilton, ready to pick up the pieces if anything goes wrong for

:35:13. > :35:17.the leaders. The top three, in fact the top four, heading down the

:35:18. > :35:19.straight at the same time. Vettel also in the shot. A quiet race by

:35:20. > :35:32.his standards, Hamilton. Trying to end the run that Nico

:35:33. > :35:35.Rosberg has had, maybe it has backfired a bit for Lewis. Sergio

:35:36. > :35:39.Perez in fifth place, Romain Grosjean in sixth place, beginning

:35:40. > :35:45.to be caught by Daniel Ricciardo, who was a bit quicker on the last

:35:46. > :35:49.lap. Closing on the Lotus. Behind him, Hulkenberg in eighth place and

:35:50. > :35:56.Felipe Massa in ninth place and Daniil Kvyat in tenth. The Toro

:35:57. > :36:02.Rossos, Sainz and Verstappen, chasing each other around, 0.9

:36:03. > :36:09.seconds between them. Relatively early stages of the Grand Prix,

:36:10. > :36:13.about one third distance. Verstappen goes past Sainz quite easily, it

:36:14. > :36:17.looked like Sainz let him through. Not only let him through but he

:36:18. > :36:25.drove down all of the discarded rubber... Alonso in the pits yet

:36:26. > :36:31.again. Third pit stop, because he had a drive-through, of course. I

:36:32. > :36:36.hope Sainz doesn't have an issue. He went out of his way to let his

:36:37. > :36:41.team-mate through. It means Verstappen has moved into 11th. The

:36:42. > :36:49.most effective way to let someone go past without losing much time is to

:36:50. > :36:53.lift early. As we saw with Seb, allowing Raikkonen to go around the

:36:54. > :37:01.outside. You really don't want to run off-line, potential debris on

:37:02. > :37:04.your tyres. A bit subservient. Maybe we can get a line from Tom if he is

:37:05. > :37:09.able to find out exactly what is going on there. Massa still being

:37:10. > :37:15.chased by Daniil Kvyat, just inside the top ten. The Brazilian and the

:37:16. > :37:22.Russian, who has had one podium finish. Sainz, just hearing on the

:37:23. > :37:27.radio, there was a command to let Verstappen go through. Unlike

:37:28. > :37:32.Verstappen in Singapore, who said no, Sainz decided to take the other

:37:33. > :37:39.option. The team have the right to operate as they see fit. But given

:37:40. > :37:44.what we have seen so far in this Grand Prix, it seems a bit harsh on

:37:45. > :37:50.Sainz. And it's see how the next few laps turn out, maybe the tyre wear

:37:51. > :37:55.is different on the two cars. Verstappen just going a bit quicker

:37:56. > :38:00.now he is past his team-mate. In front, still Nico Rosberg trying to

:38:01. > :38:04.take the final victory of the season. Rosberg also trying to earn

:38:05. > :38:08.his first ever hat-trick of Grand Prix victories. Can he make it three

:38:09. > :38:12.in a row to finish off the season in style? Hamilton of course already

:38:13. > :38:16.three times world champion, but he won't like to be beaten in these

:38:17. > :38:20.last few races. It might be irrelevant in terms of the World

:38:21. > :38:25.Championship, but it would give Rosberg a boost of confidence going

:38:26. > :38:30.into the winter break. 20 of time to go in this race. Rosberg, six

:38:31. > :38:34.seconds ahead of Hamilton. Raikkonen, four seconds behind

:38:35. > :38:43.Hamilton. Vettel, holding on to fourth place. Waiting for his first

:38:44. > :38:46.pit stop. Lap 20 out of 55. He started on the harder compact tyre.

:38:47. > :38:51.Last year, Daniel Ricciardo started from the pit lane and finished in

:38:52. > :38:56.fourth place, he waited until lap 27 before making his first stop. Just

:38:57. > :39:02.one retirement, Pastor Maldonado, talking to lie. What a frustrating

:39:03. > :39:06.way for your season to end. It looked like you were in the wrong

:39:07. > :39:11.place at the wrong time. Exactly. This is racing. Imagine it was the

:39:12. > :39:21.other way around, big news, you know? But anyway am a it's racing,

:39:22. > :39:26.it can happen. -- but anyway, it's racing. Next year, we will work hard

:39:27. > :39:30.to try to get better and better. We have all the tools and the chances

:39:31. > :39:37.as a team to become much stronger than this year. Still confident that

:39:38. > :39:43.Lotus will become Renault shortly? Hopefully yes, it's what we need.

:39:44. > :39:49.Still a big question about that team and the future, whether a deal will

:39:50. > :39:56.be done by Renault. A big lock-up from Verstappen there. They rather

:39:57. > :40:02.uncomfortable flat spot. Will it to head into the pits early? Having got

:40:03. > :40:08.past his team-mate, he was trying to get a move on and hammer home the

:40:09. > :40:15.fact that he was quicker. Seven seconds over his team-mate, but he

:40:16. > :40:24.now has an issue. Ricciardo is still tucked in behind Romain Grosjean.

:40:25. > :40:29.The Verstappen. A flat spot... He has created a huge flat spot in the

:40:30. > :40:33.tyres and he has to come into the pits. He was six tenths faster than

:40:34. > :40:38.his team-mate but he has paid the penalty because he has ruined the

:40:39. > :40:45.tyres. It has been a great debut season and all is not lost.

:40:46. > :40:53.A fresh set of boots on, see how well the Toro Rosso team can do. A

:40:54. > :40:58.relatively short stint on what should be the harder tyre. So it may

:40:59. > :41:03.become a three-stop race for Max Verstappen. We will have to wait and

:41:04. > :41:09.see. 13 laps on those tyres. Much less than the projected life.

:41:10. > :41:16.Grosjean still hanging on in there, having not start stopped yet.

:41:17. > :41:23.Looking after his tyres pretty well, 20 laps, so has Sebastian Vettel.

:41:24. > :41:26.Decent mileage, being very careful. We did see Vettel lock the inside

:41:27. > :41:36.front at one point but he has got away with it. Vettel has dropped six

:41:37. > :41:41.seconds behind his team-mate now. Rosberg, the gap is 5.5 seconds.

:41:42. > :41:49.They are pretty much trading lap times. 47.1. 46.9 for Hamilton. Only

:41:50. > :41:55.a couple of tenths, not enough to really put any pressure on Rosberg.

:41:56. > :42:00.Raikkonen is five seconds behind Hamilton. Continuing his impressive

:42:01. > :42:06.run. About six tenths of a second per lap slower. Into the darkness in

:42:07. > :42:10.Abu Dhabi. It is all about Nico Rosberg, leading this race, doing

:42:11. > :42:14.what he so much wanted to do here 12 months ago in the battle for the

:42:15. > :42:17.title with Hamilton. On that occasion, Hamilton got in front and

:42:18. > :42:22.Rosberg suffered problems with the power unit, losing a large part of

:42:23. > :42:28.the hybrid system of the engine. That is not happening at the moment.

:42:29. > :42:32.Rosberg maintaining a 5 second advantage over Hamilton. Raikkonen

:42:33. > :42:37.hanging in for Ferrari in third. Vettel currently in fourth, may have

:42:38. > :42:42.to fight his way up the order after he has made a pit stop. 11 seconds

:42:43. > :42:48.ahead of Perez, so he will lose a place to them, and a whole bunch of

:42:49. > :42:54.cars when he comes into the pits. We'll come out behind the likes of

:42:55. > :42:59.Hulkenberg and Ricciardo as well, so plenty of work for Sebastian Vettel.

:43:00. > :43:02.As we have seen in Abu Dhabi in the past, he has been able to fight his

:43:03. > :43:09.way through to decent results from poor starts in the past. I am sure

:43:10. > :43:13.he will try to do that again today. The circuit comes alive even more in

:43:14. > :43:18.the night-time, as the floodlights bring the slightly different look to

:43:19. > :43:23.it. Ericsson now in 14th place after the late pit stop. Being chased by

:43:24. > :43:30.Verstappen, who has now made a second pit stop. Quite a lot of work

:43:31. > :43:34.for Verstappen. He is on a three-stop strategy, we should be

:43:35. > :43:39.able to enjoy some classic Verstappen overtaking manoeuvres.

:43:40. > :43:43.Indeed. The fastest lap from Hamilton, 46.7, half a second

:43:44. > :43:48.quicker than Rosberg last time around. The gap is down to 4.8

:43:49. > :43:52.seconds. That will not worry Rosberg much. It is when it gets down to two

:43:53. > :43:59.seconds, you get a bit more cautious. More considered with your

:44:00. > :44:04.brakes. One little error and you can easily lose a second and a half.

:44:05. > :44:08.Rosberg has been here before. We have seen Hamilton play cat and

:44:09. > :44:15.mouse, applying the pressure and then dropping back and building

:44:16. > :44:18.again. Rosberg will be wise to it. People enjoy in various wanted

:44:19. > :44:26.points around the circuit, as the race continues, lap 23 out of 55.

:44:27. > :44:30.Just short of half distance. Max Verstappen closes up on the Sauber

:44:31. > :44:38.of Marcus Ericsson. On board with the race leader, sorry, with Lewis

:44:39. > :44:43.Hamilton. Rosberg is still the race leader. Hamilton, another fastest

:44:44. > :44:48.lap. Is he going to be able to close the gap a little more? A personal

:44:49. > :44:54.improvement in the first sector once again.

:44:55. > :45:00.Rosberg, with a 3.8 second advantage, the gap has come down

:45:01. > :45:07.quite a lot in the last lap. Will Stevens is in between the two cars,

:45:08. > :45:12.in the Marussia, 17th place. There is no doubt Hamilton is going very

:45:13. > :45:18.quickly. Another six tenths out of Rosberg in the middle sector of the

:45:19. > :45:22.race. Ferrari preparing for Vettel's first stop. Tom, clearly

:45:23. > :45:30.Vettel starting on the harder tyre, could be coming your way. I can do

:45:31. > :45:35.one more... They have another set of time to Mac ready, so we know

:45:36. > :45:43.Sebastian Vettel is going to have to make a second pit stop. -- set of

:45:44. > :45:47.primes. He comes passed me now. A brilliant stop from the Ferrari

:45:48. > :45:54.mechanics. Another stop from Sebastian Vettel later on. He will

:45:55. > :45:59.have to switch onto the super soft at the end. This strategy has worked

:46:00. > :46:03.well in the past. Romain Grosjean. Close to the wall as he goes

:46:04. > :46:06.through, Vettel, and the exits back out onto the circuit. He is in front

:46:07. > :46:17.of Hulkenberg. Max Verstappen still chasing after

:46:18. > :46:21.Eriksson in the Sauber. Where will he try to find a spot to get

:46:22. > :46:27.through? That is the question. Was burgers responding to Hamilton in

:46:28. > :46:31.the last lap, the lap they are on right now, he has definitely

:46:32. > :46:35.responded in the first sector. Middle sector Hamilton is coming

:46:36. > :46:39.back at him. Definitely up front the two Mercedes drivers are pushing

:46:40. > :46:44.each other. The cars are getting lighter, we are in the darkness so

:46:45. > :46:48.cooling becomes easier. Your engine temperature start a lower com you

:46:49. > :46:53.deliver a bit more horsepower. That is relative to your competitors as

:46:54. > :46:57.well. Gives you a change, a difference in feeling, as you see

:46:58. > :47:03.Jenson at an attacking with the DRS. That is a welcome sight that he is

:47:04. > :47:06.not just getting nailed on the straights. Grosjean has just come

:47:07. > :47:10.out of the pits and Button trying to fend him off here but I don't think

:47:11. > :47:16.he will be up to do so on the second part of the straight. No. Grosjean

:47:17. > :47:20.sweeps past. Jenson Button hoping the Honda power unit will give him a

:47:21. > :47:30.bit more to play with when the new season starts. Max Verstappen still

:47:31. > :47:40.not close enough. Into the pits has come Will Stevens.

:47:41. > :47:49.Alonso is still running but way down at the back as well. Rosberg is the

:47:50. > :47:54.race leader. 3.4 seconds, the gap. Into the pits comes Hulkenberg. We

:47:55. > :48:00.saw Vettel came out ahead of him. A second stop for Nico Hulkenberg,

:48:01. > :48:06.going on to another set of the soft tyre, the harder tyre. Again, a

:48:07. > :48:13.relatively early time which to do that for Hulkenberg. We are only on

:48:14. > :48:17.Lap 24. It may have to be a three-stop race as well. Maybe more

:48:18. > :48:24.teams are finding that the decoration on the soft tyres is a

:48:25. > :48:29.little bit greater than expected. The projected life of the soft tyre,

:48:30. > :48:34.the prime Hulkenberg has just put on, is about 30 laps. I spoke to the

:48:35. > :48:40.guys at Force India prior to the start, they definitely came into

:48:41. > :48:46.this race planning an aggressive to stop, -- two stop. Talking of

:48:47. > :48:50.aggressive, Max Verstappen has just snatched a place from Eriksson by

:48:51. > :48:53.going inside into the hairpin but he did get DRS, that was clever,

:48:54. > :48:57.because that section pointers before the hairpin. He is the one that

:48:58. > :49:00.ended up with the rear flap opening on his wing to help his

:49:01. > :49:05.straight-line speed. That was clever stuff by Max Verstappen. Another

:49:06. > :49:09.great move by the Dutchman who has managed to get past the Sauber.

:49:10. > :49:13.Again, just shows his racial awareness, the opportunities as he

:49:14. > :49:16.is taking that wide line into the hairpin. He has chucked it down the

:49:17. > :49:20.inside, that is an old karting move, and anyone who follows him on

:49:21. > :49:24.social media will know he was out doing a bit of karting in the week

:49:25. > :49:27.leading up to this race. It gives him an opportunity in a formula like

:49:28. > :49:32.that where there are multiple passes, it just keeps you mentally

:49:33. > :49:37.sharp. Hamilton has gone faster again. But the gap down to 4.6

:49:38. > :49:39.seconds between himself and Rosberg. Not giving up on the chase for

:49:40. > :49:48.victory. Alonso stating if we don't get a

:49:49. > :49:52.safety car, which would give them a chance to catch up, he will retire

:49:53. > :49:56.the car. He has had enough pretty much full stop it may well be that

:49:57. > :50:00.his 2015 season well end would much as it has been throughout the year,

:50:01. > :50:05.sadly. We saw Hulkenberg go through the shot. Max Verstappen now ahead

:50:06. > :50:11.of Eriksson. It brings Max Verstappen in the 18th place. Bottas

:50:12. > :50:19.still trying to fight his way through the order and trying to come

:50:20. > :50:26.from a long way back. In 16th place at this stage was stop Hulkenberg

:50:27. > :50:32.here tucked in behind Felipe Nasr. He will have a fairly

:50:33. > :50:36.straightforward run to overtake the Brazilian snake go down the first

:50:37. > :50:39.chicane. Kicking up some of the little tyre marbles, easily through

:50:40. > :50:48.there, back onto the brakes and into the chicane. A winner at the mum

:50:49. > :50:52.earlier -- at Le Mans earlier this year. Porsche have decided to cut

:50:53. > :50:55.back, they are only going to run two at Le Mans anyway, so he would have

:50:56. > :51:02.missed out because he is not one of their regular drivers. It was the

:51:03. > :51:08.third car. Out of an opportunity to drive and defend their victory at Le

:51:09. > :51:11.Mans next J. A bit of a shame but the side unfortunately needs a cup

:51:12. > :51:14.back to two cars were stopped on board with Sebastien Vettel, on this

:51:15. > :51:19.different strategy, just coming in ahead of him was Daniel Ricciardo.

:51:20. > :51:25.Ricciardo in the Red Bull coming in, and around the half point of this

:51:26. > :51:29.Grand Prix. Is he going to make it a two-stop from here? That is what is

:51:30. > :51:33.presumably planning to do but it is early and he has a long way to go on

:51:34. > :51:38.that set of tyres. Also in, Felipe Massa in the Williams. Let's hope

:51:39. > :51:41.they get a clean pit stop this time and no repeat of the incident we saw

:51:42. > :51:49.between Bottas, although it was not that clean. Hamilton fastest in the

:51:50. > :51:54.first sector. Three tenths quicker than Rosberg last time around. As we

:51:55. > :51:57.were discussing earlier in the race, was at a slightly different approach

:51:58. > :52:05.to everyone in this Grand Prix? RADIO: Nico, looks like you're

:52:06. > :52:12.suffering with front right grading. That engineer giving him information

:52:13. > :52:20.would have access to tyre potential temperatures that would be in the

:52:21. > :52:25.garage, both me Koke's data engineer will be able to -- both

:52:26. > :52:31.interesting to find out what the line is between aiding the driver on

:52:32. > :52:38.the race track and giving tactical information. Hamilton on the move.

:52:39. > :52:41.Definitely catching now by quite a margin, six tenths of a second he

:52:42. > :52:47.gained. Still going quicker than Nico Rosberg. Has Lewis Hamilton

:52:48. > :52:52.looked after his tyres better? Will he be in better shape as we go

:52:53. > :52:56.through this race? No doubt about it. We will expect a pit stop for

:52:57. > :53:02.Force India. This is presumably going to be Perez to make his second

:53:03. > :53:08.stop. Yes it is. In from fourth place. Meanwhile, Sebastien Vettel

:53:09. > :53:14.has set the fastest lap in the race. Still lots to look forward to hear.

:53:15. > :53:17.Perez, beautiful effort in qualifying yesterday, fourth on the

:53:18. > :53:21.grid, accelerate away. Now will he be able to get to the end? Perez is

:53:22. > :53:25.the kind of driver who could do this long stint of half the race on a set

:53:26. > :53:28.of tyres but he will have to really look after them. That is his skill

:53:29. > :53:34.of course. We have seen many times before. Can he really get to the end

:53:35. > :53:38.of this set of tyres? Let's see where he rejoins. Ahead of

:53:39. > :53:43.Ricciardo. He has responded to that pit stop and is out ahead of it.

:53:44. > :53:49.Exactly the of tactical decisions being run through the simulation

:53:50. > :53:56.programmes that the teams have. You don't rely on the data as a fullback

:53:57. > :54:02.at all times. They instinctively know what is the right thing to do.

:54:03. > :54:07.Hamilton still closing the gap but not quite as quickly as he was. 1.4

:54:08. > :54:13.seconds the gap around the circuit at the moment. He needs to get

:54:14. > :54:17.within one second to have the advantage of the DRS down the long

:54:18. > :54:24.straights here. Vettel fast on that last lap, although Ricciardo, great

:54:25. > :54:33.first section for him. Ricciardo has picked up an advantage of the slips

:54:34. > :54:37.came from Perez. You can see him running behind the Force India. It

:54:38. > :54:43.is interesting in this phase, we often see this, step changes in lap

:54:44. > :54:47.time, in a normal race as the fuel burns off, the cars get a bit

:54:48. > :54:49.quicker, and depending on the degradation depends on whether we

:54:50. > :54:57.see improved lap times during the Grand Prix or not. This circuit,

:54:58. > :55:03.because we see, sun setting a long time ago, happy hour is now over,

:55:04. > :55:14.the lap times the starting to come down. The Toro Rosso of Carlos Sainz

:55:15. > :55:25.coming into the pits. Maybe going for the long stint. A bit of a

:55:26. > :55:32.slo-mo here. Clearly I -- clear prizes in use at night-time, give

:55:33. > :55:36.some great viewing. This is into the uncomfortable zone. Although Nico

:55:37. > :55:39.has managed this fantastically well in the last few Grand Prix, he knows

:55:40. > :55:45.with the double DRS zone that it does make it tricky. You will have

:55:46. > :55:49.the opportunity to save some of his energy that would be wasted

:55:50. > :55:56.otherwise and use it in the DRS zones. RADIO: Just can't get

:55:57. > :56:02.through. Impossible to overtake. Copy that, we're looking at it now.

:56:03. > :56:08.There is best way to the electrical energy. The most efficient way to do

:56:09. > :56:16.that if you are running a qualifying lap or a race lap on your own, as we

:56:17. > :56:20.see another DRS pass. Sainz getting past Eriksson. A crucial manoeuvre

:56:21. > :56:25.as he has been into the pit. Just to finish on that. What Nico can do is

:56:26. > :56:28.not used some of that electrical energy where he knows in areas where

:56:29. > :56:32.Lewis can pass on, then he can deploy more of it for longer when he

:56:33. > :56:37.is coming into the two zones where the DRS is. It would neutralise the

:56:38. > :56:42.effect of DRS entirely but will give them a bit more horsepower for

:56:43. > :56:46.longer in those areas. Carlos Sainz has moved into 12 position. Max

:56:47. > :56:54.Verstappen is the car ahead of him in 11th. RADIO: We will box at the

:56:55. > :56:58.end of this lap. We have a 5 second penalty to serve as well. That will

:56:59. > :57:02.be taken out, the mechanics will pause for five seconds before they

:57:03. > :57:10.can get to work on the car. Still a difficult time for Valtteri Bottas.

:57:11. > :57:13.You can imagine how it feels for five seconds, to a racing driver

:57:14. > :57:19.when he has just improved by 2.5 seconds. The frustration of that

:57:20. > :57:23.mistake that lies with whoever decided to raise the car, and

:57:24. > :57:26.Formula 1 doesn't have a blame culture, it has a responsibility

:57:27. > :57:31.culture. If the driver bins it into the double -- the gravel, he takes

:57:32. > :57:36.the blame. Whoever released that car will hold his hand up. The team will

:57:37. > :57:39.know who that individual is. They won't shine the spotlight on him in

:57:40. > :57:44.the same way you wouldn't the driver. They are all in a

:57:45. > :57:49.high-pressure situation and know the teams get it right. Perfectly

:57:50. > :57:55.sample, Vettel started well done that with having taken a team that

:57:56. > :58:00.had been in the World Championships in the very beginning. All of that

:58:01. > :58:08.data to draw on manager shows a human element still comes into play.

:58:09. > :58:13.Sebastien Vettel, fourth place, quite a long way behind Raikkonen.

:58:14. > :58:18.Don't forget he will have to switch to the super soft tyre at the end of

:58:19. > :58:22.the Grand Prix. You would expect him to stop around Lap 40. We have been

:58:23. > :58:28.joined by Aaron Williams on the pit wall right now. Pat Symonds, that

:58:29. > :58:34.was a tough call on the pit stop with Valtteri Bottas. Talk is true

:58:35. > :58:39.what happened? With the release? We made a mistake, simple as that. It

:58:40. > :58:47.was our fault and the penalty was a valid one. In that situation, it

:58:48. > :58:55.must be very difficult to judge. How is the determination made? We have

:58:56. > :58:58.go, no-go gauges, we have markers, I think probably got distracted by the

:58:59. > :59:04.first car through. Not sure what it was, think it was a Red Bull, and

:59:05. > :59:08.missed the second one. I suppose if you are in a different pit box,

:59:09. > :59:11.sometimes the layout of the pits, which when you are income makes

:59:12. > :59:16.quite a difference. Just talk is through Masoe's race at the moment,

:59:17. > :59:24.he is really struggling. -- talk us through Felipe Massa's race. It is a

:59:25. > :59:29.difficult circuit to overtake on, you hit some tough traffic. Pat,

:59:30. > :59:34.just to enter up for a second, Rosberg is coming in, this is quite

:59:35. > :59:39.early for a second stop from them? Let's just watched the pit stop take

:59:40. > :59:44.place, on his way once again, that was very controlled. Pat, if you are

:59:45. > :59:48.still with us, what are you thinking about the strategy? It seemed like

:59:49. > :59:53.quite an early second stop. I don't think so, we were expecting early

:59:54. > :59:59.30s. I think that is on their target. OK, and they should be of

:00:00. > :00:04.the run to the end now. Yes, no problem, they will go beyond the end

:00:05. > :00:08.of the race. Halton has responded, going turtle in the first sector, he

:00:09. > :00:14.will have some tools at his disposal. Ash macro Hamilton has

:00:15. > :00:19.responded. Maybe he has just turned up the engine mode to neutralise the

:00:20. > :00:24.effect of the new tyres. The gap was, as it was recorded because

:00:25. > :00:28.Rosberg had headed to the pit lane, it was recorded at .7 recession, it

:00:29. > :00:32.was actually a bit more than .7. I would expect that gap to have opened

:00:33. > :00:38.slightly after the round of stops. This is a classic example of fresh

:00:39. > :00:43.tyres, you go out, and this out lap, provided he does not hear traffic or

:00:44. > :00:47.make a mistake, will be quicker than Hamilton's in lap. Certainly in

:00:48. > :00:53.clean air. Nobody up ahead of him really. Kimi Raikkonen has just gone

:00:54. > :00:58.through Turn 11, plenty of space here in which to put together a fast

:00:59. > :01:03.lap or so. Meanwhile, Hamilton still pushing on of course in his car

:01:04. > :01:11.before he makes his own pit stop. We are on board with Kimi Raikkonen.

:01:12. > :01:15.RADIO: Group eight on the dash. Box. Ferrari responding to the Mercedes

:01:16. > :01:20.pit stop. Is there anyway Raikkonen can close the gap? Not looking

:01:21. > :01:25.likely. Really just try to take third place here. Continuing a good

:01:26. > :01:26.run, only a shade under ten seconds behind the lead car last time

:01:27. > :01:32.around. Like we saw from Vettel in Brazil,

:01:33. > :01:46.keeping Mercedes honest. A problem on the right front, they

:01:47. > :01:50.could not get the wheel off. Oh, Ferrari, logistically and

:01:51. > :01:55.operationally, just not on best form this weekend. It has cost them four

:01:56. > :02:01.seconds at least. That will have an effect on the battle with Vettel.

:02:02. > :02:04.Was running 16 seconds behind his team-mate. Certainly going to put

:02:05. > :02:11.him under a little bit of pressure to come out in front. Behind

:02:12. > :02:16.Vettel, actually, but by the time they do the stops, Vettel has

:02:17. > :02:20.another one. That is Vettel just in front of him, going past Alonso, who

:02:21. > :02:29.is in no mood to continue this Grand Prix. We have not seen a safety car.

:02:30. > :02:33.This is interesting, under normal conditions, Vettel did not make it

:02:34. > :02:36.difficult for Raikkonen, and he has ended up kind of him because of the

:02:37. > :02:50.long stop. Hamilton has gone through the second

:02:51. > :02:56.sector. Lewis, try to extend this stint. He is obviously putting on

:02:57. > :03:04.good lap times if they are trying to extend the stint. Hamilton,

:03:05. > :03:08.interesting tactic. It is not enough, though, he is half a second

:03:09. > :03:12.slower in the middle sector than Rosberg. Extend the stint and give

:03:13. > :03:17.yourself fresh tyres later in the race, but you are having to use up

:03:18. > :03:22.some of the potential... Raikkonen, the front right, it just didn't seem

:03:23. > :03:28.like the wheel would release. Eventually they get it on. Able to

:03:29. > :03:34.rejoin behind his team-mate. Rosberg has done the fastest lap of the

:03:35. > :03:38.Grand Prix, 45.4. Hamilton will eventually come out further behind

:03:39. > :03:42.than 1.5 seconds that he was, with fresh tyres, he will use up some of

:03:43. > :03:46.that potential getting back onto the rear end of Rosberg, who will be

:03:47. > :03:49.expecting him and will be nursing his tyres so that he can unleash the

:03:50. > :03:55.performance by the time Hamilton gets there. If it takes him to many

:03:56. > :04:03.laps, he will take life out of the tyres and we will have a neutralised

:04:04. > :04:08.situation again. -- too many. Vettel, running ahead of Raikkonen.

:04:09. > :04:13.Raikkonen has done his second and final stop, but Vettel is due

:04:14. > :04:22.another stop. He has to run the super soft Red Bull tyre at some

:04:23. > :04:27.stage. It will be a while yet. Alonso has not given up on the race

:04:28. > :04:31.yet. Just one retirement, as a result of contact with Alonso.

:04:32. > :04:41.Maldonado. Alonso in 17th place right now the

:04:42. > :04:47.head of the two Marussias but no one else. Jenson Button in 14th place.

:04:48. > :04:52.Some way outside the points. Hamilton currently leads because he

:04:53. > :04:55.has not been into the pits for his second stop. Another situation where

:04:56. > :05:01.Max Verstappen gets past Carlos Sainz. It looks as though Verstappen

:05:02. > :05:08.might be an three stops. Perhaps Sainz is going to do it on two

:05:09. > :05:12.stops. Raikkonen closes up in the middle sector and sets the fastest

:05:13. > :05:15.middle sector of anyone in the Grand Prix so far. Virtually onto the

:05:16. > :05:19.gearbox of his team-mate Sebastian Vettel. Will he have the chance to

:05:20. > :05:24.go through? Not on this section of the track. If Vettel has any chance

:05:25. > :05:28.of finishing in front of his team-mate, he needs to stay out. I

:05:29. > :05:34.don't know if he can make the tyres last this long.

:05:35. > :05:41.Sebastian Vettel stopped on lap 23. So the tyres are still read is

:05:42. > :05:53.heavily fresh. Projecting around 30 laps of life in the prime tyres. So

:05:54. > :05:59.it is possible Kimi could stay out. So he needs to get a move on and

:06:00. > :06:05.find a way past. Tough in evenly matched cars, even with DRS in

:06:06. > :06:12.operation. Goes over the DRS line, the rear wing flap opens up. Not

:06:13. > :06:15.close enough, but there will be another opportunity down the next

:06:16. > :06:23.straight. That is the great thing about the chicane between the two

:06:24. > :06:32.DRS areas. You can use it into turn 11. Vettel is only doing one stop,

:06:33. > :06:36.he has to run to the end, so he will regret the fact he made it so easy

:06:37. > :06:47.for his team-mate. Still has to come in for the super soft tyres of

:06:48. > :06:53.course. Of course. Nico, if you can, pick up the pace a little bit. We

:06:54. > :06:57.need to close the gap to Lewis. If Hamilton can open up the gap a bit

:06:58. > :07:02.more, to 22 seconds, he would come out in front of his team-mate after

:07:03. > :07:11.the pit stop. Rosberg has just taken seven tenths out of him, so the gap

:07:12. > :07:15.is 17 seconds currently. Dropping back, but that is where he was

:07:16. > :07:19.earlier in the Grand Prix, and was able to put himself back onto the

:07:20. > :07:23.gearbox of Rosberg. Interesting radio comment from Sebastian Vettel

:07:24. > :07:29.a few moments ago, trying to get past Fernando Alonso. He came onto

:07:30. > :07:34.the radio and said about Alonso, he must really hate me, I am losing a

:07:35. > :07:38.second getting by him! Always a contest between the top guys. If

:07:39. > :07:48.Alonso can have any effect, I'm sure he is going to take the opportunity.

:07:49. > :07:58.Sebastian has been told, he has been told. He will swap. Has that

:07:59. > :08:06.happened yet? Yes, he pulls over on the start- finish straight, allowing

:08:07. > :08:11.Raikkonen on the outside. 19 seconds, Vettel in the battle with

:08:12. > :08:19.Perez. Needs to pull out another three seconds or so to give himself

:08:20. > :08:23.a chance of coming out in front. Or DRS his way through, that would be a

:08:24. > :08:30.pretty impressive comeback from the back of the grid to fourth-place.

:08:31. > :08:36.Meanwhile, Ricciardo is in sixth place, Romain Grosjean in seventh

:08:37. > :08:46.place. The car is on time at the moment. Is he going to ask for the

:08:47. > :08:51.options to finish the race off? The downside, he doesn't have any more

:08:52. > :08:56.new tyres, will not have quite the offset and it is a more fragile

:08:57. > :08:59.tyre. But it is the prime point of the Grand Prix, the coolest track

:09:00. > :09:09.temperature, the car at its lightest point. It is certainly possible he

:09:10. > :09:14.will go a bit deeper. Even now, if he came into the pits, it is

:09:15. > :09:17.probably achievable on the super soft tyre to get to the end of the

:09:18. > :09:23.Grand Prix, so it could be a different strategy between the two

:09:24. > :09:25.cars. He can give it a go. In the other races he has not been able to

:09:26. > :09:35.find a way past. It might just give Hamilton the

:09:36. > :09:42.edge, but it is a question of how far back he will be comfortable

:09:43. > :09:46.being. Tom, your thoughts? The predicted life of the super soft is

:09:47. > :09:51.about 15 laps, so he needs to get to about 40, but it is not new, he has

:09:52. > :09:56.already done three laps, so he has to go quite a bit further. The only

:09:57. > :09:59.guy with a new set of super softs coming into this race is Kimi

:10:00. > :10:04.Raikkonen, so I was surprised not to see him go longer and put the option

:10:05. > :10:09.on at the end, but he hasn't done that. Is Hamilton going to find

:10:10. > :10:12.something different and use a different strategy? Normally

:10:13. > :10:17.Mercedes wouldn't allow that, but maybe on this occasion I might let

:10:18. > :10:21.him do it. We have seen it occasionally. In Bahrain they used

:10:22. > :10:25.different tyres at the end of the Grand Prix, pretty exciting racing.

:10:26. > :10:30.Probably pretty uncomfortable for Mercedes when the drivers are going

:10:31. > :10:36.wheel-to-wheel, but as we have said many times, Formula 1 is

:10:37. > :10:39.entertainment, it is a sport. Hamilton, 14.7 seconds ahead of

:10:40. > :10:44.Rosberg, who has done the fastest lap of the Grand Prix. It means a

:10:45. > :10:51.bigger gap between Hamilton and Rosberg. This is pretty tight

:10:52. > :10:56.between these guys, Grosjean, Hulkenberg and Kyvat. Kimi Raikkonen

:10:57. > :11:02.has just set the fastest lap. Felipe Massa at the back of this group, in

:11:03. > :11:05.10th position. Raikkonen, 34 seconds behind Hamilton, so Hamilton will

:11:06. > :11:10.outcome doubly in front of Raikkonen. Raikkonen doing

:11:11. > :11:15.everything he can to close that gap. It is good to see Ferrari are

:11:16. > :11:23.hanging in the macro. Lewis, if we were to stop, we would be six

:11:24. > :11:28.seconds behind Nico. 18 laps remaining. We may stick with the

:11:29. > :11:33.prime tyre, it seems to be holding up well. They will stick with it for

:11:34. > :11:39.now and got a bit deeper that is the message. Lewis wanted to know how

:11:40. > :11:49.many laps he needs to keep pushing at this level. Last time around, a

:11:50. > :11:55.second and a half slower than Rosberg. Raikkonen is pushing hard,

:11:56. > :12:02.he almost has enough in hand over his nearest rival, Perez, to make an

:12:03. > :12:06.extra pit stop if he needed to. I wonder if that is part of the plan

:12:07. > :12:11.for Kimi Raikkonen? Romain Grosjean, meanwhile, also due another pit

:12:12. > :12:16.stop. These guys behind him, trying to get to the end of the race on

:12:17. > :12:19.what they have already. You can get much more mileage out of the tyres

:12:20. > :12:24.towards the end of a Grand Prix when the fuel has burned off. At the

:12:25. > :12:33.moment, Hulkenberg is frustrated sitting behind the Lotus. Grosjean,

:12:34. > :12:38.taking a wide line into turn 11. For Hulkenberg to nip through on the

:12:39. > :12:42.inside. Behind this group, the two Toro Rossos, so it is not looking

:12:43. > :12:44.promising for them to be able to outscore Lotus sufficiently to move

:12:45. > :12:51.ahead of them in the Constructors' Championship. The other little

:12:52. > :12:56.things, we know Raikkonen, if it stays this way, will finish as the

:12:57. > :13:01.top Finn, head of Valtteri Bottas. Tenth, likely to go to

:13:02. > :13:03.top Finn, head of Valtteri Bottas. Hulkenberg at this point. Sitting in

:13:04. > :13:07.eighth place. Grosjean could beat him, but he has another pit stop to

:13:08. > :13:15.go. Verstappen was the other one who could beat him to tenth, but he is

:13:16. > :13:20.down in 12th right now. You are around four tenths quicker than

:13:21. > :13:28.Vettel. You think he is going to the end? He has to stop, he has not

:13:29. > :13:32.fitted the super soft yet. Perez getting the full Tory. A chance for

:13:33. > :13:38.Sergio Perez to beat Sebastian Vettel, who started from is so far

:13:39. > :13:42.down. -- the full story. Max Verstappen comes into the pits for

:13:43. > :13:47.his third stop. The lock-up that he had earlier on forced the team into

:13:48. > :13:51.a three-stop race. Interestingly, he has gone for the super soft. That is

:13:52. > :13:57.what we could expect Lewis Hamilton to do when he comes in. This would

:13:58. > :14:03.be fantastic intel for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton's engineers, because

:14:04. > :14:09.right now this isn't working. Box...

:14:10. > :14:16.Vettel will give the Mercedes team some good information on how hard

:14:17. > :14:19.they can go on those tyres. The gap is under 12 seconds. Hamilton is

:14:20. > :14:24.going to be further behind after his stop than at any point during the

:14:25. > :14:29.Grand Prix. On the same tyre, difficult to see what he can do. On

:14:30. > :14:33.the option, maybe he can start making big strides. We will get some

:14:34. > :14:39.key information after Vettel leaves the pits on the option tyre. Where

:14:40. > :14:42.will he come out? Hiwot will lose position to Sergio Perez. What about

:14:43. > :14:48.Daniel Ricciardo, his former team-mate?

:14:49. > :14:58.Exits the pit lane. Perez, well through. I think Ricciardo is well

:14:59. > :15:00.through as well. Vettel rejoins behind him, so he has a couple of

:15:01. > :15:13.cars to overtake. Then it is all about whether he can

:15:14. > :15:17.catch Sergio Perez in the Force India. Vettel has some work to do

:15:18. > :15:25.here. Brand-new set of those option tyres. He will be able to exploit

:15:26. > :15:31.great performance, and expect him to deliver, aided with a bit of DRS as

:15:32. > :15:37.well in this early part of the lap. Closing right up on Daniel Ricciardo

:15:38. > :15:40.very quickly. Vettel now with an opportunity perhaps even on this out

:15:41. > :15:45.lap to have a go getting past the Red Bull. Will he take full

:15:46. > :15:51.advantage? He has a look. Sparks flying from the skid plate. Here's

:15:52. > :15:55.hoping Ricciardo does not have the grip. Hanging in beautifully at the

:15:56. > :16:01.moment. He does not have the tyre grip but he has a chassis that has

:16:02. > :16:05.been performing exceptionally well. RADIO: If I was to back off right

:16:06. > :16:10.now and look after these tyres until the end, how slow can I go per lap.

:16:11. > :16:14.Lewis, I think that would be pretty much impossible to do so what we're

:16:15. > :16:21.currently planning is the way to go. Can you please give me the

:16:22. > :16:25.calculation? It is not even worth bothering working the numbers, it

:16:26. > :16:30.would be a real gamble and not pay. The reason I'm asking is because

:16:31. > :16:38.these tyres still feel good. He wants this race, whatever it takes!

:16:39. > :16:43.Brilliant stuff from his engineer, being evasive as he can without

:16:44. > :16:48.breaking trust, but this is off script, this is not what Mercedes

:16:49. > :16:53.were expecting I believe. It is clear Hamilton is thinking 14 laps

:16:54. > :17:01.to go... He has done 29 laps on the set of tyres. Looks like they have

:17:02. > :17:05.made the decision for him. Does he come in? We thought we would get

:17:06. > :17:10.some radio there but we didn't. They are there because they believe

:17:11. > :17:15.Hamilton is going to come in. Mexico he didn't come in on the first call,

:17:16. > :17:20.if you remember. Meanwhile Vettel has gone past Ricciardo. Is Hamilton

:17:21. > :17:24.coming in? I think he is. Yes. Hamilton is into the pits, he will

:17:25. > :17:31.surely be going for the super soft tyre. Now, he has gone for the soft,

:17:32. > :17:37.the prime tyre, same strategy. Brand-new set but he will be quite a

:17:38. > :17:43.bit behind. Doesn't have any traffic in front of him. We have been denied

:17:44. > :17:46.a little bit of action late in the Grand Prix. That would have been

:17:47. > :17:52.really interesting to see but let's see what he can do on this tyre. It

:17:53. > :18:01.is a brand-new set as you say. Trying to get past quiet there,

:18:02. > :18:05.Felipe Massa -- past Kvyat. Carlos Sainz is eight seconds behind him,

:18:06. > :18:11.still 11th ahead of Ericsson. It has been a bit of stalemate in this

:18:12. > :18:17.group for quite a while. They are all having to look after the tyres,

:18:18. > :18:26.finding an opportunity of someone makes a slight mistake. RADIO:

:18:27. > :18:34.Follow the tones please, Dani, otherwise we'll have to increase at

:18:35. > :18:40.the. I am a bit busy here! Saying follow the tones, you get an audio

:18:41. > :18:42.message in your here to change gear. You can see there are lights

:18:43. > :18:45.displaying when the engine is ready to move to the next gear. Some

:18:46. > :18:50.drivers like a red light, some like a blue, it is very much down to

:18:51. > :18:54.personal choice but all of them have audio, which is what I would drive

:18:55. > :18:57.too. It means you don't have to look your dashboard you just hear a nice

:18:58. > :19:07.little beep or whatever your favourite coin is, as Ericsson heads

:19:08. > :19:11.-- favourites Tunisia stop it doesn't look like Sauber will score

:19:12. > :19:17.points -- whatever your favourite tune in is.

:19:18. > :19:25.Was there something else that went on here? Ericsson ran a bit wide. I

:19:26. > :19:31.don't think there was anything particularly notable. Does Jenson

:19:32. > :19:38.keep it on the outside? He does. Nice job, Jenson. What he was able

:19:39. > :19:46.to effect a parcel stop it has been a great thing for -- a great weekend

:19:47. > :19:56.for McLaren, all things considered. Ericsson out of grip, just lost --

:19:57. > :20:06.been to the pits. Settle down with 12 laps to go. It just doesn't seem

:20:07. > :20:11.that that has worked as a strategy. He needed to be lapping around .6 of

:20:12. > :20:17.a second within Rosberg. He was running about 1.2, 1.5 seconds, at

:20:18. > :20:24.one points lower than Rosberg. So what are we missing that the brains

:20:25. > :20:28.on the pit wall were covering? I don't quite understand it, trying to

:20:29. > :20:36.trace what Vettel is putting in some good laps, having gone to the

:20:37. > :20:41.super-softs. The pace is looking good. Yes, he has taken seven tenths

:20:42. > :20:50.in the middle sector out of Rosberg. Will he get a second a lap, what he

:20:51. > :20:55.needs? He won't stay second for the drift of the tyre. You hit them

:20:56. > :21:00.hard, thermal degradation, something we were never used to talking about

:21:01. > :21:07.before Pirelli were in Formula 1 but it is something that is so sensitive

:21:08. > :21:10.and these tyres. RADIO: Dani, this is critical, you have charged 14 for

:21:11. > :21:16.one straight, you will have to commit, OK? Presumably that means he

:21:17. > :21:20.has a power boost. You'll only get to use it once, so it means you have

:21:21. > :21:24.one chance at it, you have to commit, really go for it on the

:21:25. > :21:28.brakes at the end of that straight and if you don't get there you will

:21:29. > :21:38.not get it again. Tell us about the lap Hamilton has just done. 44.7,

:21:39. > :21:50.compares the Rosberg's 45.4. If he is making some headway but not the

:21:51. > :21:56.sort, the previous cap. It is not the sort of advantage that he needs.

:21:57. > :22:01.Not working out at the minute for Lewis Hamilton. Rosberg are still in

:22:02. > :22:06.control. Lap 44 out of 55. Mercedes running one and two. Looking to

:22:07. > :22:10.establish more records. Reikan and is in third, we have a pit stop for

:22:11. > :22:16.Romain Grosjean, who is into the pits. Final stop for him, let's see

:22:17. > :22:23.where this brings him out. He was part of a group that was all very

:22:24. > :22:26.close. Not getting any radio from Rosberg. RADIO: We will keep you

:22:27. > :22:32.informed. Something just at the unfair. He is continuing on his way

:22:33. > :22:34.at the moment, still maintaining the edge over Hamilton. Let's just have

:22:35. > :22:40.another look at what happened with Felipe Nasr and Max Verstappen. He

:22:41. > :22:47.did exactly what he did the Ericsson earlier on. Great stuff from Max

:22:48. > :22:53.Verstappen. Again on the brakes, that very wide line, best way to get

:22:54. > :22:58.the straightest drive, Max just puts his car in there. Little correction

:22:59. > :23:06.for overstay. Tidy driving from the Sauber driver. Hamilton 44.5,

:23:07. > :23:10.managed 1.1 seconds on Rosberg. He is catching, Hamilton, but will he

:23:11. > :23:15.be able to do anything at the end of the Grand Prix? Talking of catching,

:23:16. > :23:20.Vettel is much closer now to Sergio Perez, Hamilton with the fastest lap

:23:21. > :23:25.but Vettel going well on the super-soft tyres, so far holding up

:23:26. > :23:32.pretty well. Target to get past the Force India. Last clap -- lap around

:23:33. > :23:38.Hibs 1.26 seconds faster than the Force India.

:23:39. > :23:44.Will Vettel be able to get past the Force India? Click like Ferrari are

:23:45. > :23:49.on the third and fourth, beaten by the Mercedes but not as much as on

:23:50. > :23:52.some occasions, Reikan and some eight seconds behind Hamilton,

:23:53. > :23:57.though that is opening up as Hamilton continues to charge. Last

:23:58. > :24:03.time out in Brazil, Vettel ended up seven seconds behind Hamilton. The

:24:04. > :24:10.gap was at 14. A bit dig at this time as Vettel get himself into

:24:11. > :24:13.position. DRS will pop open, Perez will defend. Vettel goes really over

:24:14. > :24:17.the older marbles and Perez doesn't give it up, he will have a little

:24:18. > :24:23.luck, no he is not. As a think about it. Vettel makes it look very easy

:24:24. > :24:29.which it is not necessarily. Rubens varicella and interesting spectator

:24:30. > :24:37.in the Ferrari pit. He is topping and hailing his career for stop

:24:38. > :24:46.started in karting, back to karting. A bit of Benjamin button. Felipe

:24:47. > :24:53.Massa is down in my place. Valtteri Bottas's girlfriend there. I think I

:24:54. > :24:57.scared he and his girlfriend earlier because I came to my bedroom door in

:24:58. > :25:04.my towel to chase after someone who delivered to the room just as they

:25:05. > :25:11.walked past! They took it in good humour. Verstappen bind Jenson

:25:12. > :25:15.Button. A late move down the inside from Verstappen on Jenson Button but

:25:16. > :25:19.button is not giving it up just yet! They almost touch, they are

:25:20. > :25:24.side-by-side, Tampa goes out wide, he may have to give that back, or

:25:25. > :25:31.will he? He should do. But not giving it up at all. He might come

:25:32. > :25:35.back, remember Turn 11 was where he came back a moment ago around the

:25:36. > :25:38.outside. But he can't quite do it. There might be some radio

:25:39. > :25:42.communication going on with the team at the moment. Maybe a request to

:25:43. > :25:46.the race director to investigate that one. One of the great things of

:25:47. > :25:51.these modern circuits is safety improving, as Rosberg gets past

:25:52. > :25:55.Button. But one of the downsides communal as a driver you can push

:25:56. > :26:00.the limit, if it goes wrong, you just rewind. You will not willingly

:26:01. > :26:04.give the position back but if someone says that was just too

:26:05. > :26:09.much, which to me it did look like he ran completely off the circuit.

:26:10. > :26:12.Derek Warwick is in attendance as the driver Stuart, so he will be

:26:13. > :26:16.having a look at that, I'm sure. Meanwhile, Hamilton did not gain

:26:17. > :26:21.this much last time around. Let's see what it is this time around.

:26:22. > :26:28.Rosberg has crossed the line. Lewis Hamilton was 10.2 seconds behind. As

:26:29. > :26:32.he crosses the line, you did gain 8.5 seconds across the line, so he

:26:33. > :26:37.gained quite a lot in the final part of the lap. But you would think the

:26:38. > :26:42.best of the tyre is now being used up. Rosberg can judge his pace to

:26:43. > :26:47.the end. I'm sure he is keeping fully up-to-date with the gap the

:26:48. > :26:51.twin himself and his team-mate. Rosberg at this stage still in

:26:52. > :26:55.charge, behind Max Verstappen. Verstappen will have to let him

:26:56. > :27:00.through as he is being lapped. Where will he take advantage to do that?

:27:01. > :27:02.Will it be down to the chicane? No problem at all. Verstappen might try

:27:03. > :27:08.to track in behind and gain some speed himself will stop that is the

:27:09. > :27:13.gap. You can see how in recent laps Hamilton has been closing the gap.

:27:14. > :27:18.That was a very good lap from Lewis Hamilton. Rosberg in traffic so it

:27:19. > :27:22.cost a bit of time. We can hope, of course, that he prances way through

:27:23. > :27:32.Bottas and Button and doesn't lose any time. A replay of that battle.

:27:33. > :27:42.Max gives him just enough room. Maybe that is the key thing. Max

:27:43. > :27:48.sending the message to the Restorick to as much as to his own team. That

:27:49. > :27:54.might be the key thing. Here again, another angle. Max gives him just

:27:55. > :27:58.enough room. Look like some great wheel-to-wheel racing, I would not

:27:59. > :28:03.apportion blame one way or the other but Max gained an advantage on the

:28:04. > :28:08.exit. I'm sure his dad approves. It was good hard racing is a maybe be

:28:09. > :28:11.left as it is. Great to see birth -- both the new boy and the new boy

:28:12. > :28:21.analyst experience going wheel-to-wheel. Jenson Button I

:28:22. > :28:30.think enjoy the moment. Two Selvies -- Saubers, it is under

:28:31. > :28:33.investigation, that incident, so we'll get a decision before the end

:28:34. > :28:41.of the Grand Prix between Button and bust up. Ericsson just in front --

:28:42. > :28:49.between Button and Verstappen. Nasa is the faster of the two

:28:50. > :28:55.they are both on the super-soft tyres, but on the car behind will

:28:56. > :29:01.give him a bit of advantage. Now Felipe Massa and Kvyat.

:29:02. > :29:05.give him a bit of advantage. Now sitting behind Kvyat for a long

:29:06. > :29:09.time. Now Felipe Massa has moved up-to-date position, so presumably

:29:10. > :29:15.it was down the straight. Kvyat not giving up on it but that is a change

:29:16. > :29:20.of position. Felipe Massa in eighth place. Both Force Indias inside top

:29:21. > :29:26.ten. Perez fifth place, Hulkenberg seven. This is how Felipe Massa got

:29:27. > :29:34.passed any quiet. I think it was a rundown to Turn 11. You see the red

:29:35. > :29:37.light flashing almost made contact. Court Daniil Kvyat out by surprise

:29:38. > :29:41.and stop the red light flashing would send a message that Renault

:29:42. > :29:45.was no longer deploying any electrical energy, and the Mercedes

:29:46. > :29:51.power was able to keep punching out 200 mph. Apparently, Kvyat had

:29:52. > :29:55.reported to the team he was travelling on breaks maybe that was

:29:56. > :30:00.part of a factor. Certainly caught by surprise was that great piece of

:30:01. > :30:08.opportunistic from Felipe Massa is the lap times now and neutralise

:30:09. > :30:12.between Rosberg and Hamilton. RADIO: Lewis, just flat out to the end then

:30:13. > :30:17.we will see what we can make of it. Not enough at the moment. Basically

:30:18. > :30:21.he is not catching by sufficient margin. You can see on the lap

:30:22. > :30:24.comparisons, Rosberg now taking Hamilton back a little bit. There is

:30:25. > :30:33.nothing for Hamilton to gaining being second.

:30:34. > :30:42.The risk is you can use too much fuel. And stress the engine a bit

:30:43. > :30:48.much. Has he got anything in his attack? Talking of engines,

:30:49. > :30:55.Rosberg's has a higher mileage than Hamilton's, because he had a problem

:30:56. > :31:01.with one earlier in the year and had to use another one more. Only

:31:02. > :31:04.allowed to use four or be in car grid penalties. No Mercedes user has

:31:05. > :31:11.incurred a grid penalty throughout the season. Fernando Alonso incurred

:31:12. > :31:15.165 grid position penalties. Verstappen has a five second time

:31:16. > :31:22.penalty. That will be added at the end of the race.

:31:23. > :31:31.A pickle on the hand rather than a real slap. It won't make any

:31:32. > :31:34.difference. -- a tickle. Will Stevens having a bit of a lonely

:31:35. > :31:47.race. His team-mate 28 seconds behind. Stevens will win the

:31:48. > :31:51.inter-team rivalry there. A sad day for the Marussia team, the last race

:31:52. > :31:54.for John Booth and Graeme Lowdon. Instrumental in picking up the

:31:55. > :31:59.pieces when the team looked down and out. Moving on from the team after

:32:00. > :32:05.this Grand Prix. Let's hope they see both cars home here. Will Stevens

:32:06. > :32:11.completing his first full season. He raced here last year, driving for

:32:12. > :32:15.Caterham on that occasion. Another good first sector from Lewis

:32:16. > :32:19.Hamilton, but not enough to close the gap to his team-mate Nico

:32:20. > :32:23.Rosberg. Further back, Perez coming under a bit of pressure from Daniel

:32:24. > :32:28.Ricciardo. That could be one to watch, for fifth position, between

:32:29. > :32:34.the Force India of Sergio Perez and Daniel Ricciardo. Hulkenberg a bit

:32:35. > :32:38.lonely in seventh place, 4.7 seconds ahead of Felipe Massa. Kyvat is in

:32:39. > :32:46.ninth place, with Carlos Sainz in 10th position. Verstappen a bit

:32:47. > :32:53.further back, in 12th place, on a three-stop strategy, but a lot to do

:32:54. > :32:58.because he is 16 seconds behind Romain Grosjean. Kyvat versus Sainz

:32:59. > :33:04.could be interesting. Just outside the DRS range. Both on the soft

:33:05. > :33:09.tyre, and both have done just over 20 laps. Just three laps difference

:33:10. > :33:14.between the Red Bull and the Toro Rosso. Carlos Sainz will be

:33:15. > :33:21.hoping... We know Kyvat has reported a bit of a problem with the brakes,

:33:22. > :33:24.so not at 100%. Running half a second slower than the Toro Rosso

:33:25. > :33:30.behind. Renault power against Renault power. A real opportunity

:33:31. > :33:35.for Sainz at the end of the season to come out of the shadow of Max

:33:36. > :33:39.Verstappen, who has had an incredible first season in Formula

:33:40. > :33:43.1. Has shown good speed at times, maybe a bit less lucky with

:33:44. > :33:50.reliability. Has not until today really shown such instinct of

:33:51. > :34:03.attacking drive in traffic. Would love to be able... Turn eight is

:34:04. > :34:12.where Kyvat reported his problem of underbraking. Kyvat has done pretty

:34:13. > :34:19.well on the speed trap. He is in the top six. 327 kilometres per hour.

:34:20. > :34:27.But he is suffering in that area now. What has happened to Hamilton

:34:28. > :34:39.here? Blocked with traffic? Ten strap mode. OK, so basically... They

:34:40. > :34:44.are talking about set-ups in terms of the power and speed from the car.

:34:45. > :34:49.If Lewis doesn't behave himself in turn down the engine, Rosberg will

:34:50. > :34:54.be able to turn his up, effectively. That is what is going on, isn't it?

:34:55. > :35:03.It is indeed. The benefit of being in a situation... The board members,

:35:04. > :35:08.they want to see a one-two. Nico has earned pole. Lewis using a bit more

:35:09. > :35:19.performance than they are comfortable with. Nico, go six. It

:35:20. > :35:26.is all being played out on the radio. You have to think Rosberg is

:35:27. > :35:31.pretty comfortable. Another good first sector from him. We will see

:35:32. > :35:34.what Hamilton does in response. In fact, yes, Hamilton getting caught

:35:35. > :35:41.up in traffic, so that has cost him a bit. Not going to be enough laps

:35:42. > :35:47.left. Alonso still going around, he told the team he would stop if there

:35:48. > :35:58.was not a safety car. Strap mode ten, that is an instruction. That

:35:59. > :36:08.means, or else. It always puts a bit of tension... Lewis's mum. A proud

:36:09. > :36:13.lady, I'm sure. It puts pressure on the relationship between the

:36:14. > :36:16.engineer and the driver. Has to do absolutely everything in his power

:36:17. > :36:20.for the best chance of maximum points. But of course they do

:36:21. > :36:26.understand they are employees of the team. When they get a call telling

:36:27. > :36:36.them to tell the driver a management request, they do so. Strap ten,

:36:37. > :36:40.please, Nico. I think Lewis must have responded, because they have

:36:41. > :36:44.now spent on league said the same to Nico Rosberg. Kyvat still ahead of

:36:45. > :36:56.Sainz. Last year they played around with

:36:57. > :37:03.settings and there was a discussion... Spain and Bahrain, the

:37:04. > :37:07.two races. Both stretching more than the team were comfortable. Nico will

:37:08. > :37:11.understand, he has a comfort zone right now. He knows Hamilton has to

:37:12. > :37:14.find his way through the traffic. Rosberg does have a bit of traffic

:37:15. > :37:18.ahead of him, but whether he will catch it before the end of the Grand

:37:19. > :37:22.Prix remains to be seen. This is as comfortable a victory as Rosberg has

:37:23. > :37:26.had, presuming nothing happens between now and the chequered flag.

:37:27. > :37:40.Romain Grosjean is going for position, and he is going to take it

:37:41. > :37:43.off Carlos Sainz, moving into the points as a result. Lotus should be

:37:44. > :37:45.doing enough to hold on to sixth place in the Constructors'

:37:46. > :37:47.Championship. Toro Rosso have not been able to deliver the necessary

:37:48. > :37:54.today, and Lotus will finish ahead of Toro Rosso. Grosjean in his final

:37:55. > :37:57.outing for this team, he would be delighted to be able to score a

:37:58. > :38:01.point, which will be at least some little reward after what has been a

:38:02. > :38:08.difficult weekend, a difficult season for that team. A highlight,

:38:09. > :38:12.the third in Belgium. He is into the points, and maybe he can get past

:38:13. > :38:18.Kyvat and get a couple more. 1.1 seconds behind. Daniel Ricciardo,

:38:19. > :38:22.his team-mate, only 2.3 behind Perez. So it is not over in the

:38:23. > :38:28.battle for fifth place. Raikkonen looks on target to finish in third,

:38:29. > :38:33.with Vettel in fourth position, 26 seconds behind his team-mate. Not

:38:34. > :38:36.bad from where he has started. Fair play to Raikkonen, good pace

:38:37. > :38:41.throughout the Grand Prix. Vettel has never really been able to close

:38:42. > :38:47.the gap. Perez still in fifth position. I mentioned how Ricciardo

:38:48. > :38:51.was catching Perez, but the gap has bedded at 2.3 seconds between the

:38:52. > :38:56.Force India and the Red Bull. Both protecting the tyres. Ricciardo in

:38:57. > :39:01.sixth position, it won't be enough for him to finish ahead of Kyvat in

:39:02. > :39:07.the championship, because Kyvat is doing enough I think. E-mail -- he

:39:08. > :39:12.may lose a place in a moment, but he went into the race ten points ahead

:39:13. > :39:17.of Daniel Ricciardo, so still difficult for him to finish ahead.

:39:18. > :39:18.Grosjean, catching Daniil Kvyat. Can he make another move and get into

:39:19. > :39:29.ninth place? Is he going to pick up the

:39:30. > :39:35.slipstream? No, the brakes are not at their best. I don't think Kyvat

:39:36. > :39:40.can do anything to challenge. That brings Grosjean into ninth position.

:39:41. > :39:48.A reward for the team after all of the hard work. Before Romain

:39:49. > :39:52.Grosjean drives for the HAAS team, a new introduction in Formula 1 in

:39:53. > :39:56.Melbourne next year. Good stuff from Grosjean. Looks as though he might

:39:57. > :40:01.run out of time to catch Felipe Massa. Meanwhile, Valtteri Bottas,

:40:02. > :40:06.down in 14th position behind Jenson Button. Jenson may have to work

:40:07. > :40:11.quite hard to stay here in the closing moments. Look how much speed

:40:12. > :40:14.he loses at the end of the straight. In the next section, the McLaren

:40:15. > :40:21.Honda should be able to maintain decent pace. 53 laps completed by

:40:22. > :40:27.the leader. Jenson Button may be able to do enough to fend off the

:40:28. > :40:34.Williams. It won't get him any points but it shows good progress.

:40:35. > :40:41.Bottas, a frustrating afternoon. He lost his wing, damaging it in a pit

:40:42. > :40:47.stop. All credit to the strength of the McLaren car that we are not

:40:48. > :40:52.aware of any damage. Nico Rosberg is on his final lap in Abu Dhabi. After

:40:53. > :40:56.the disappointment of racing here last year and not being able to

:40:57. > :41:00.challenge Hamilton because he had a mechanical problem on the car,

:41:01. > :41:04.well, he is about to take his first ever hat-trick of victories in

:41:05. > :41:09.Formula 1. And he has done it in style. He was on pole position, he

:41:10. > :41:13.made by far the better start of the two front row men, and he has

:41:14. > :41:21.dominated. Verstappen under investigation again for ignoring the

:41:22. > :41:25.flags. Rosberg reporting a big vibration on the rear of the car. Is

:41:26. > :41:31.there going to be last-minute drama? I would think probably not. Let's

:41:32. > :41:36.wait and see. Further down the order, in the battle between the Red

:41:37. > :41:42.Bulls, if there are a few changes on the last lap, it could change. Let's

:41:43. > :41:46.take a look at Nico Rosberg. He has driven brilliantly in this race, no

:41:47. > :41:50.doubt about it. He is going to take three Grand Prix wins on the trot at

:41:51. > :41:55.the end of the season. What a brilliant way to finish the season.

:41:56. > :42:00.He is also going to take his 14th career victory, matching Graham

:42:01. > :42:05.Hill. 40 years to the day today since Graham Hill was so sadly

:42:06. > :42:09.killed in an aeroplane accident. Nico Rosberg comes out of the last

:42:10. > :42:18.corner in Abu Dhabi to take victory here! His sixth win of 2015. Versus

:42:19. > :42:23.ten for Lewis Hamilton in the end. The world champion Lewis Hamilton

:42:24. > :42:27.could not respond in the end. He finishes in second today. Yet

:42:28. > :42:33.another one-two finish for the dominant Mercedes team. Kimi

:42:34. > :42:37.Raikkonen finishes in third. Only his third podium finish of the year.

:42:38. > :42:45.But a great finish to the season for him. He is the top Finn, because he

:42:46. > :42:48.beat Valtteri Bottas in the end, in fourth place. Sebastian battle will

:42:49. > :42:58.take fourth place today. Rosberg has won. Woo! Excellent, guys, really

:42:59. > :43:06.great. A first win for Nico in Abu Dhabi. He has certainly delivered.

:43:07. > :43:10.Lewis Hamilton, he has gone past now, but of course the win of the

:43:11. > :43:15.season. Taking the all-important championship. Today it didn't look

:43:16. > :43:20.as though he really had an answer for the pace of Nico Rosberg. But

:43:21. > :43:27.some great results further down the order as well. Perez in a superb

:43:28. > :43:31.fifth-place for Force India. Not as exciting as the podium earlier in

:43:32. > :43:39.the year but still a very solid job, Perez. Ricciardo in sixth place,

:43:40. > :43:42.Hulkenberg in seventh. A big doughnut from Nico Rosberg. Massa

:43:43. > :43:47.finished in eighth place in the end. Romain Grosjean, in his last race

:43:48. > :43:53.for the Lotus team, finished in ninth. Daniil Kvyat held on for the

:43:54. > :43:58.final point. Ahead of Carlos Sainz, Max Verstappen, Jenson Button was

:43:59. > :44:07.13th. Well done, great recovery and thank you for the season. Vettel, a

:44:08. > :44:14.solid result to come from 15th on the grid to finish in fourth place.

:44:15. > :44:19.Button did beat Bottas at the end. Bottas had a pit stop where he hit

:44:20. > :44:31.the back of Button's car, but no points on offer. Ericsson was 15th.

:44:32. > :44:39.19 finishes out of 20 that started. The night sky lights up with

:44:40. > :44:43.fireworks in Abu Dhabi. Lewis Hamilton, first to return to parc

:44:44. > :44:47.ferme, having been beaten again by Nico Rosberg. What a difference

:44:48. > :44:51.season he may have had if Rosberg had got his act together in the

:44:52. > :44:54.early part of the year, but of course Lewis Hamilton had the edge

:44:55. > :44:58.in the first two thirds of the season. That was where the

:44:59. > :45:03.championship was decided. I think Rosberg will be delighted to have

:45:04. > :45:06.finished the season so strongly. To take that momentum through the

:45:07. > :45:11.winter months to the build-up to 2016. They are all at it now,

:45:12. > :45:16.leaving tyre marks in front of the grandstand. Lovely to see that. The

:45:17. > :45:21.gearboxes don't have to do any more, the engines don't have to do any

:45:22. > :45:24.more. These cars are going into retirement, museum pieces after

:45:25. > :45:30.this. That is the speed of progress in Formula 1. Nothing of the actual

:45:31. > :45:35.car that will go into next year's car, every part will be subtly

:45:36. > :45:39.redesigned going into 2016. Nico Rosberg, winner in Abu Dhabi. To

:45:40. > :45:51.finish his season with a hat-trick of victories.

:45:52. > :45:58.Struggling to get himself unemployed, but time to celebrate

:45:59. > :46:11.now here in the night sky. -- trying to get himself unplugged. Really

:46:12. > :46:18.impressive all weekend, has Nico Rosberg been, and it is a 45th win

:46:19. > :46:24.for Mercedes. Just a remarkable season, as was 2014 really. And you

:46:25. > :46:29.have just got to wonder have the rivals got something they can come

:46:30. > :46:33.back at Mercedes with NexGen? Harare certainly showing much stronger this

:46:34. > :46:36.year with those three victories from Reikan and in the end commie was

:46:37. > :46:41.just under 20 seconds behind the race winner Nico Rosberg. Can they

:46:42. > :46:45.produce the goods the goods for 2016 and make this a real fight for the

:46:46. > :46:49.championship with Vettel and Reikan in as well? We will have to find out

:46:50. > :46:52.next year but there has been no doubt about the dominant team this

:46:53. > :46:58.year, and Nico Rosberg finding tremendous form in the closing

:46:59. > :47:02.stages of the championship. Fastest lap went to less Hamilton in the end

:47:03. > :47:07.with that charge she went -- went to Lewis Hamilton. Rosberg denied that

:47:08. > :47:09.element but of course he led pretty much most of the race, just that

:47:10. > :47:13.little part of the race where Hamilton lead when they were on

:47:14. > :47:21.slightly different strategies. He started from pole position and took

:47:22. > :47:23.victory as well. There was a drive-through penalty from

:47:24. > :47:27.Verstappen for ignoring blue flags in the end but the time penalty

:47:28. > :47:31.actually dropped him down to 16th place, so Verstappen missing out a

:47:32. > :47:36.bit, just a couple of things that the stewards did not take kindly to

:47:37. > :47:47.today. But it doesn't really put a damper on what was a great season

:47:48. > :47:53.from Verstappen and many people will look to him next year. Many

:47:54. > :47:58.congratulations, Toto Wolff. 703 points, a new record, more than you

:47:59. > :48:05.got last year when there were double points. The 12th 1-2 in the season.

:48:06. > :48:10.Very happy. The more points you make, the more you pay the entry fee

:48:11. > :48:16.next year so that is not so good. But this is just sensational. The

:48:17. > :48:20.numbers are going to end up in books as numbers. It is not so important.

:48:21. > :48:25.But a fantastic end of the season final. What a great result. It was a

:48:26. > :48:30.great result, a lot of people are asking why didn't you put the option

:48:31. > :48:33.tyre on Lewis at the end, make him a bit more racy? We gave him the

:48:34. > :48:40.option to choose which tyre he wanted have on the car. I think that

:48:41. > :48:45.was important for the fans to see. He couldn't really make a decision.

:48:46. > :48:48.The option had seven or eight laps or nine laps at the beginning, and

:48:49. > :48:52.even though the car was lighted wouldn't have lasted until the end.

:48:53. > :49:00.Then it was a decision of his side of the garage to go for the prime,

:49:01. > :49:05.to make it to the end. Just to clarify, you gave him the option of

:49:06. > :49:09.which tyre to put on? Absolutely, there was lots of conversation, I'm

:49:10. > :49:13.not sure it broadcasted, to decide what they would opt for. Finally the

:49:14. > :49:21.decision was to go for the prime tyre. So he was very much involved.

:49:22. > :49:27.So there was a slight change in policy. Yes, we wanted to give him a

:49:28. > :49:36.real shot to win at the end. It was his decision. Interesting to hear

:49:37. > :49:40.that but let's here the celebrations on the podium as Kimi Raikkonen will

:49:41. > :49:46.step forward to take the honours for third place. There he is. Taking the

:49:47. > :49:49.honours amongst the finished Rovers as well, beating Valtteri Bottas at

:49:50. > :49:53.the end of the day in the title race. Second place today Lewis

:49:54. > :49:58.Hamilton. But of course the all-important third championship was

:49:59. > :50:05.well and truly has already. And Nico Rosberg taking victory, his 14th

:50:06. > :50:06.career win, to join Graham Hill, Emerson Fittipaldi and Sir Jack

:50:07. > :51:08.Brabham on that tally. Congratulations to Nico Rosberg!

:51:09. > :51:13.Superbly done by Nico Rosberg. He will take the winner 's trophy once

:51:14. > :51:17.again. Three in a row at the end of 2015, and his first win here in Abu

:51:18. > :51:25.Dhabi. He has had a third place here in the past, a podium, but is on top

:51:26. > :51:27.spot this time. To receive the constructor 's trophy but half of

:51:28. > :51:33.Mercedes this time, Kimberly Stephens. Great opportunity for her

:51:34. > :51:41.to enjoy the moment in the night time here at Abu Dhabi. And so many

:51:42. > :51:45.of that Mercedes crew have had an opportunity to get up onto the

:51:46. > :51:50.podium this year, with their incredible tally of race victories.

:51:51. > :51:56.Third place of course going to Kimi Raikkonen. It has been a tough

:51:57. > :52:00.season for Kimi Raikkonen. We'll get the second placed Duncan Lewis

:52:01. > :52:04.Hamilton. There we are, a trophy for Lewis, but the big trivia is the one

:52:05. > :52:08.that counted, the FIA awards taking place at the end of the week where

:52:09. > :52:14.he gets to receive the trophy for winning the championship. And Kimi

:52:15. > :52:17.Raikkonen in third place. A difficult season for him, involved

:52:18. > :52:23.in a feud to many incidents and accidents and this last third of the

:52:24. > :52:28.year but he has come good here. It is nonalcoholic but it still

:52:29. > :52:34.stings. Kimberly Stephens being given the treatment by both Nico

:52:35. > :52:46.Rosberg and Lewis have often. -- Lewis Hamilton, the final

:52:47. > :52:48.celebratory shower of 2015. What a different story this season might

:52:49. > :52:55.have been if Nico Rosberg had begun the season in the same style that he

:52:56. > :53:02.has finished it. We might have had a championship decider here in Abu

:53:03. > :53:05.Dhabi. Instead of seeing Lewis Hamilton take such a dominant lead

:53:06. > :53:09.in the early stages and win the title in the United States. It will

:53:10. > :53:15.be a huge celebration for the team once again after this. Couldn't

:53:16. > :53:19.really have had a much better year. Three times they were beaten by

:53:20. > :53:25.Ferrari. Each occasion it was Sebastien Vettel who took the win,

:53:26. > :53:30.but in total they have had 16 victories. That is a pretty

:53:31. > :53:39.impressive stat. Joining them on the podium, our very own David

:53:40. > :53:43.Coulthard. Good evening, everybody, race fans around the world.

:53:44. > :53:49.Gentlemen, if you can join me down here at the front. Nico, that must

:53:50. > :53:54.taste good? Delicious, the best ever! It has been an incredible end

:53:55. > :53:58.to the season. This was, to me, your most dominant win of the season. So

:53:59. > :54:03.tell us a little bit about the race and the hunger that you took into

:54:04. > :54:07.this final race of the season. Austin was the low point of the

:54:08. > :54:10.season, it was a tough weekend, and since then I have just come back a

:54:11. > :54:14.lot stronger and I'm very happy about that. I'm excited about how

:54:15. > :54:17.the end of the season went. Next year can come any moment. It could

:54:18. > :54:22.start tomorrow if it were for me, no problem, I don't need any holidays!

:54:23. > :54:26.But no, it is greater in the season like this, go on holiday like this,

:54:27. > :54:30.and thank you so much, you have been awesome again this weekend, for all

:54:31. > :54:34.of your support and everything. Things to my team, and absolutely

:54:35. > :54:41.stunning car you have given me again today. Unbelievable. Ecstatic. You

:54:42. > :54:44.mentioned Austin, you could see the realisation, the disappointment that

:54:45. > :54:49.it had slipped away. Give the fans at home and insight from you have

:54:50. > :54:52.the enemy within the team, you work together to develop this great

:54:53. > :54:56.product but your success is Lewis's failure and vice versa. Can you give

:54:57. > :55:00.us an insight as to how you manage that? Because you guys have known

:55:01. > :55:04.each other since you were kids. It is always tough to raise Lewis, he

:55:05. > :55:08.is doing an awesome job, one of the best out there. And even better

:55:09. > :55:11.feeling to win against such opposition. It is a great battle

:55:12. > :55:15.internally all the time. That is what I race for, such battles. I

:55:16. > :55:20.look forward to more next year. Does that mean you guys can go and have

:55:21. > :55:26.dinner and reflect on what was an amazing season for the team? Let's

:55:27. > :55:33.skip that part, maybe we will catch up in Amber Lounge later on! Lewis,

:55:34. > :55:38.an amazing season for you, you are world champion. CHEERING

:55:39. > :55:41.It has been an amazing season for you, I can't help but notice it

:55:42. > :55:44.didn't seem to have finished quite a strong as it started. We heard you

:55:45. > :55:47.mention there have been some changes to the car, but is it as simple as

:55:48. > :55:51.that or is there something else we need to know now the season is

:55:52. > :55:57.over? Firstly, it has been an amazing year. Had the 44th UAE

:55:58. > :56:00.national day, so happy to be here and celebrating it with UAE, they

:56:01. > :56:07.did an amazing job and what a great crowd we have had today. It has been

:56:08. > :56:10.a good year. I am happy as ever. Now we can really enjoy but I have to

:56:11. > :56:14.take my hat off to this team who once again did an amazing job in

:56:15. > :56:18.building this car. The pit stops today, the performance through the

:56:19. > :56:21.whole year, they have surpassed their own expectations, our

:56:22. > :56:25.expectations, so we have truly shown that Mercedes-Benz is the best team

:56:26. > :56:31.in the world. I am proud to be part of it. No one can argue with that

:56:32. > :56:35.right now. On strategy, we heard you on the radio, asking the team can I

:56:36. > :56:42.go the distance on these tyres. We know that the team have to deliver

:56:43. > :56:47.the 1-2 result, Nico and the result, -- and the pole position, but you

:56:48. > :56:51.know that be nothing to be done, that is why you are pushing your

:56:52. > :56:55.engineers and the team? I think hindsight, I probably would have

:56:56. > :56:59.backed off a little bit and made the tyres go a lot longer. The tyres

:57:00. > :57:03.were still fine at the end so I thought I could potentially have

:57:04. > :57:06.taken them to the end. But as that didn't work out, stop it going to

:57:07. > :57:10.Long is probably not the right thing to do but we gave it a try and do

:57:11. > :57:12.the best job I could with it. Lewis, congratulations again on that didn't

:57:13. > :57:16.work out, stop it going to long is probably not the right thing to do

:57:17. > :57:18.but we gave it a try and do the best job I could with it. Lewis,

:57:19. > :57:20.congratulations again, championship, I will just come around to Kimi

:57:21. > :57:22.Raikkonen. Ladies and gentlemen, statistically this is the most

:57:23. > :57:25.popular man in Formula 1. You probably say less than any of the

:57:26. > :57:28.other drivers, so welcome back to the podium. It has not been a great

:57:29. > :57:31.season for you, but that was the world champion strive today, so why

:57:32. > :57:37.has it taken so long the season to deliver this great performance? And

:57:38. > :57:46.we started better this season but it has not been ideal. That is how it

:57:47. > :57:51.goes sometimes. Mistakes and problems like that. It has not

:57:52. > :57:57.always been great many times. But this weekend was a bit better.

:57:58. > :58:01.Everything was working well. Things were running smoothly. The car and

:58:02. > :58:06.well, so it was good. Obviously not enough still to be pleased to, but

:58:07. > :58:14.we did our best. Congratulations on your podium. Nico, the smile says it

:58:15. > :58:18.all. The World Championship is the one thing. This is your 14th victory

:58:19. > :58:22.full stop you can take pole position, you can win Grand Prix,

:58:23. > :58:26.how are you going to attack the winter and come back next year and

:58:27. > :58:29.try to beat this man? I look forward to it, I'm sure it will be another

:58:30. > :58:32.great season next year, I'm sure the winter and come back next year and

:58:33. > :58:35.try to beat this man? I look forward to it, I'm sure it will be another

:58:36. > :58:38.great season next year, I'm sure that he will aware of the threat

:58:39. > :58:41.from the red guys and we don't want them to come too close. We will give

:58:42. > :58:46.it everything over the winter and try to keep it going starting next

:58:47. > :58:54.year. Congratulations to our podium finishes. Just remains to me to say

:58:55. > :58:56.a big thank you to Abu Dhabi, the Yas Marina Circuit, to the hundreds

:58:57. > :59:02.of thousands of fans around the world, we look forward to seeing you

:59:03. > :59:05.again in 2016. Nico Rosberg has taken the final victory of 2060 but

:59:06. > :59:16.the season all about Lewis Hamilton becoming a 3 times world champion.

:59:17. > :59:21.Perhaps not the breathtaking final fling with what we might get, the

:59:22. > :59:24.wheel-to-wheel action coming from Button and Verstappen and not

:59:25. > :59:30.Rosberg and Hamilton but a hat-trick for Rosberg and a fabulous final

:59:31. > :59:35.flourish for Nico. That really has been a terrific into his season. I

:59:36. > :59:40.have to say, I was one of the doubters. As the season progressed

:59:41. > :59:43.and still no big sparkle from Rosberg, I was getting concerned

:59:44. > :59:47.about his future in this team. People were talking about Verstappen

:59:48. > :59:50.and other drivers possibly having a chance but the way he has finished,

:59:51. > :59:54.the way he has dominated pole position, six times in a row, my

:59:55. > :00:00.God, that is just an expression of sheer determination. And then of

:00:01. > :00:07.course the last three races. Spectacular finish for him but the

:00:08. > :00:11.question remains what happens when he is under the real pressure for

:00:12. > :00:12.the championship? Will next year show us? We will have to wait for

:00:13. > :00:15.that one of course. About three quarters of the way through the

:00:16. > :00:20.season, questions were being asked about Nico, was that his last chance

:00:21. > :00:26.to win the Champion ship? Nobody asking that now. We are now saying

:00:27. > :00:31.has the rules and regulations about the tyres and Jews, have they helped

:00:32. > :00:35.Rosberg, and have they hindered Hamilton? Because that is what it is

:00:36. > :00:39.beginning to look like. How did you feel about that strategy? We heard

:00:40. > :00:46.Tom Dr Toto, and Toto said that Lewis had the choice and he stood up

:00:47. > :00:48.on the podium and said with hindsight, they should have gone for

:00:49. > :00:57.the soft. I think they got caught. They were

:00:58. > :01:01.not decisive enough, there was no strength of character. One person

:01:02. > :01:06.was saying, will we, won't we? Be dilly-dallied. It was not an

:01:07. > :01:09.emphatic decision. They made it worse for themselves. So you don't

:01:10. > :01:13.think it should have been allowed for Lewis to make that call? They

:01:14. > :01:18.could have made the call, but what we don't really know is, where was

:01:19. > :01:23.the decision... ? You are still bristling! I am still upset about

:01:24. > :01:30.it, because I wanted to see a big fight. They within themselves, they

:01:31. > :01:35.destroyed it. If Vettel had started near the front, I am telling you,

:01:36. > :01:39.Vettel would have given them a real good fight today. We saw what

:01:40. > :01:44.Raikkonen did. We know Vettel on current speed is quicker. I think it

:01:45. > :01:50.was stolen. The fans were deprived of a great fight today. I think

:01:51. > :01:52.someone has to be very clear... Decision-makers are very important.

:01:53. > :01:57.There is only one thing worse than a bad decision and that is no

:01:58. > :02:00.decision. And that is what happened, they dilly-dallied and

:02:01. > :02:05.they got it wrong. We got some wheel-to-wheel action, but it was

:02:06. > :02:12.from Jenson it looked like you were having a bit of fun. It was good

:02:13. > :02:17.fun. It is tough racing around here. For the obvious reasons. A couple of

:02:18. > :02:23.good overtaking moves, trying to keep other cars back was fun.

:02:24. > :02:31.Aggressive today, enjoyed it. To keep the Williams behind 45 laps, we

:02:32. > :02:34.should be happy with that. It shows where the strengths are, we could

:02:35. > :02:39.not get close in the first straight, I don't know what his closing speed

:02:40. > :02:44.was, but I thought they were chasing me around the back straight... Many

:02:45. > :02:51.areas we need to work on. Many that we can improve overnight. With the

:02:52. > :02:57.package change. Nice to end with a smile, and hopefully the team did as

:02:58. > :03:02.well, watching. Not sure if you or Valtteri Bottas got a bigger

:03:03. > :03:06.surprise in the pit lane. I know. They obviously released him a bit

:03:07. > :03:11.early. I could see it coming. He had been sat there for a while. As I

:03:12. > :03:15.turned, I saw him coming out and I tried to move out of the way, but it

:03:16. > :03:19.was my fault drove into the back of the car. The problem was that my

:03:20. > :03:25.boys didn't know where I was going to end up... Obviously a back on the

:03:26. > :03:30.rear is never a positive. How are you feeling at the end of the year?

:03:31. > :03:35.Explain how tough it has been. Massively tough. For the whole team.

:03:36. > :03:41.We have done a good job of staying positive. The drivers, management,

:03:42. > :03:45.mechanics, engineers, everyone in the team... The guys in the factory,

:03:46. > :03:49.it is very tough on them as well. Working has hard as ever. They are

:03:50. > :03:54.not getting the results they are used to. It is tough for those guys,

:03:55. > :04:02.putting in long hours. Really difficult. For us, this race, 12th

:04:03. > :04:06.is not an aim for us, but 19 cars finished and we finished 12th which

:04:07. > :04:10.is not bad. I hope the last few laps put a smile on their face. Let's

:04:11. > :04:15.have another look at the pit stop they were talking about. David, talk

:04:16. > :04:21.us through it. A simple case of the car being released too late. Bottas

:04:22. > :04:25.has not, for whatever reason, realised he has Button on his left.

:04:26. > :04:32.Just one of those unfortunate scenarios. I know Valtteri will take

:04:33. > :04:37.some of it on the chin. He could have been on the brake. As we heard

:04:38. > :04:42.from Pat Simmons before the race, he said the team made a mistake. A

:04:43. > :04:46.simple breakdown in procedure. Incredibly frustrating for Valtteri

:04:47. > :04:53.Bottas. He had a big fight on with Kimi, it looked like... You said he

:04:54. > :05:00.couldn't do it. I thought, you know... Bottas, this was a silly

:05:01. > :05:05.example. David is right, the communication was not there. Bottas,

:05:06. > :05:10.on the results of today, did not deserve to beat Kimi, who drove

:05:11. > :05:16.particularly well. He needed it more. Having said that, the Ferrari

:05:17. > :05:22.was a good car. Going back to the McLaren story... Hello, can I talk

:05:23. > :05:26.to you in a minute? You might have some questions from this man. I know

:05:27. > :05:32.you have spoken to Tom, and Lewis mentioned the strategy. Was it a

:05:33. > :05:37.mistake today? Was there anyway Lewis could have challenged for the

:05:38. > :05:43.win, if he had come in earlier, a different tyre on the late stop? No,

:05:44. > :05:48.I think today Nico was the quite a man on the track. We gave Lewis all

:05:49. > :05:55.of the strategy options. -- the quicker man. He was debating with

:05:56. > :06:00.his engineer whether it was more intelligent to go on the softer tyre

:06:01. > :06:07.but he opted for the harder. It didn't work out, the gap was too

:06:08. > :06:13.big. Toto, I have my crystal ball, look into it, please. In there, it

:06:14. > :06:18.says, if Renault don't continue next year, you will supply Red Bull,

:06:19. > :06:29.won't you? That's what the ball says? It is English! Will you supply

:06:30. > :06:36.Red Bull with engines if Renault don't? I think priority number one

:06:37. > :06:41.for all of us is to keep Renault in the sport. They have a contract with

:06:42. > :06:47.Red Bull for next year. You will supply them the engine? You have

:06:48. > :06:55.your crystal ball, you can look. I am asking you to confirm it. I have

:06:56. > :06:59.not got the crystal ball. Two great drivers, Lewis winning the

:07:00. > :07:03.championship, Nico with an amazing comeback. So I guess this is the

:07:04. > :07:08.perfect scenario for you. How are you going to work with them during

:07:09. > :07:14.the winter, to keep the team focused on the goal? Two different

:07:15. > :07:19.personalities, one will be in America, the other will be with his

:07:20. > :07:25.wife and kid. Do you talk about strategy? Very different. Like a

:07:26. > :07:31.football manager, you have to emphasise what is best for them, and

:07:32. > :07:37.how much you spend time with each of them, analysing it. They are very

:07:38. > :07:42.different. There is the minimum of liaison needed. How to develop the

:07:43. > :07:45.car. It is important for them. Lewis has complained the car did not go in

:07:46. > :08:00.the right direction development-wise... I have to ask

:08:01. > :08:05.you a question. Can Nico win a World Championship while Lewis is in the

:08:06. > :08:10.other car? Yes. You can see in the last couple of races, he was very,

:08:11. > :08:15.very strong indeed. It was no relevance for the World Championship

:08:16. > :08:19.any more, so maybe Lewis was unconsciously not putting all of the

:08:20. > :08:22.effort in, the stress and the adrenaline needed... We will know

:08:23. > :08:28.next year. Does your crystal ball says something about that? I am

:08:29. > :08:34.still waiting for that answer! Thank you very much and congratulations on

:08:35. > :08:37.an incredible season. Today's result, after the final race, Nico

:08:38. > :08:40.Rosberg to victory with Lewis Hamilton in second and Kimi

:08:41. > :08:47.Raikkonen with the third spot in the podium.

:08:48. > :08:56.The top three, we already knew. Kimi moves ahead of Valtteri for fourth

:08:57. > :09:03.place. The other positions remain exactly the same.

:09:04. > :09:14.A great rookie performance from Max Verstappen in 12th.

:09:15. > :09:19.Completely dominated this year by the powerhouse that is Mercedes.

:09:20. > :09:26.Well done to Force India for getting fit place. In a word, gentleman,

:09:27. > :09:31.summarise the season for us. Mercedes is the word. The hybrid

:09:32. > :09:36.power, they really delivered. A stunning performance. They achieved

:09:37. > :09:40.more in terms of success than any other team in the history of the

:09:41. > :09:44.sport. I want every team to be more determined to give us a better show.

:09:45. > :09:52.I loved it, it was very exciting, but we want more next year. We will

:09:53. > :09:55.have our forum show online. And the review show on Saturday, December

:09:56. > :10:03.12, and hopefully we will be back with you next year. A splash of

:10:04. > :10:09.Lewis, a dash of Nico, and a little dab of Seb. That was the 2015

:10:10. > :10:13.season. Thank you very much for watching. The world champion. The

:10:14. > :10:19.greatest moment of my life. Thank you, guys, so much.

:10:20. > :10:26.Oh, my goodness! That is what you would call payback. I've lost this

:10:27. > :10:36.race, haven't I? You did it! Well done, guys. Oh, my God! I am

:10:37. > :11:05.too old for that! Forza Ferrari! # There's nowhere I can go.

:11:06. > :11:10.# Standing still with nothing in my way.

:11:11. > :11:17.# Letting me go so I can find myself again.

:11:18. > :11:25.# I need that underneath my feet. # I need that underneath my feet.

:11:26. > :11:29.# To feel that. # I need that.

:11:30. > :11:36.# Home, I'm coming home, I'm coming home.

:11:37. > :11:43.# This life I've been living. # Home, I'm coming home, I'm coming

:11:44. > :11:47.home. # There's a side of me, I'm out here

:11:48. > :11:52.on my own. # I'm coming home.

:11:53. > :12:00.# Oh, yeah! # I'm coming home.

:12:01. > :12:04.# Oh, yeah! # All this time, I've been living it

:12:05. > :12:16.up. # I'm coming home.

:12:17. > :12:23.# I know if I could find my own way back.

:12:24. > :12:29.# There's a life I always knew but never had.

:12:30. > :12:34.# I'm tired of fighting things that I can't change.

:12:35. > :12:41.# Letting me go so I can finally find my place.

:12:42. > :12:48.# I need that underneath my feet. # Feel it underneath my feet.

:12:49. > :12:55.# I need that underneath my feet. # To feel that underneath my feet.

:12:56. > :13:01.# I need that underneath my feet. # To feel that underneath my feet.

:13:02. > :13:06.# I need that. # Home, I'm coming home, I'm coming

:13:07. > :13:11.home. # There's a life that I've been

:13:12. > :13:16.living in my home. # Home, I'm coming home, I'm coming

:13:17. > :13:22.home. # There's a side of me, I'm out here

:13:23. > :13:28.on my own. # I'm coming home.

:13:29. > :13:35.# Oh, yeah! # I'm coming home.

:13:36. > :13:38.# Oh, yeah! # All this time I've been living it

:13:39. > :14:06.up. # Home. I'm coming home.
