:00:34. > :00:38.Bit Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open has become a very

:00:39. > :00:42.important part are links golf fortnight in the men's event coming

:00:43. > :00:48.before the open 's championship at Hoylake this year. No fewer than 24

:00:49. > :00:53.the top 60 in the world have beaten the path to the Granite city of

:00:54. > :00:56.Aberdeen trying to win one of the great titles in the home of golf,

:00:57. > :01:03.Scotland, and trying to find during their links form and, for three of

:01:04. > :01:06.them, the chance to claim the last remaining spots in the open itself.

:01:07. > :01:09.For the last three years the men who have lifted the Claret jug have all

:01:10. > :01:15.featured strongly in the Scottish Open. Phil Mickelson winning

:01:16. > :01:20.back-to-back titles last year. The event this year and Aberdeen was

:01:21. > :01:27.dominated by Rory McIlroy, whose tribulations and trials, and

:01:28. > :01:31.opening-day 64 followed by a 78. So the young man from Northern Ireland

:01:32. > :01:35.would find themselves some six shots off the pace coming into round

:01:36. > :01:40.three. This is how the leaderboard looks.

:01:41. > :01:49.Three players on 6-under par. Justin Rose is just one shot off the pace.

:01:50. > :02:01.Let's enjoy around three in the company of our commentary team.

:02:02. > :02:19.Some great conditions today. Phil Mickelson. He just had a birdie and

:02:20. > :02:28.an eagle to get him to two on the for the day. -- 2-under. Only three

:02:29. > :02:39.behind. So many things can happen today. Robert Karlsson and Rory

:02:40. > :02:50.Mcilroy playing together on the 13th. Robert Karlsson back playing

:02:51. > :02:56.in Europe. He was forced last week in France. He has had a couple of

:02:57. > :03:03.top-10 finishes recently. Coming into some very good form. And the

:03:04. > :03:08.leaderboard proves that. Probably had the best back-to-back weeks of

:03:09. > :03:12.his career this time last year when he won this championship at Castle

:03:13. > :03:18.Stuart in Inverness, followed by winning the opener at Muirfield. He

:03:19. > :03:40.is a man of many talents. He goes for birdie on nine. That's OK.

:03:41. > :03:43.3-under for the championship, only three behind. Back to Robert

:03:44. > :04:00.Karlsson at 13. Magnificent putt from Robert

:04:01. > :04:16.Karlsson. That puts 6-under, tied at the top. The former European number

:04:17. > :04:17.one. Luke Donald dropped a shot at the first and is now at the par-5

:04:18. > :04:36.second hole. Not the longest hitter in the green

:04:37. > :04:49.but even he makes the green in two shots downwind.

:04:50. > :05:01.Three birdies and no bogeys so far. That is an excellent shot. The man

:05:02. > :05:13.named after Tom Watson. This, for an eagle at the second from the Donald.

:05:14. > :05:24.Back to the first green, Shane Lowry, to convert the birdie. It is

:05:25. > :05:29.almost a bonus if you can get a birdie on this first hole because

:05:30. > :05:34.you then have the downwind par-5 second coming up. What they start

:05:35. > :05:38.for Shane Lowry. That was only the second birdie of the day at the

:05:39. > :05:46.opening hole. It is the hardest hole on the course, the first. This is

:05:47. > :05:52.Robert Karlsson's fourth shot, the second, left of the green. This was

:05:53. > :06:03.not easy. He has played it well, but that will be for a bogey, the

:06:04. > :06:08.tournament leader, one of four. Lewis looking to get to 4-under for

:06:09. > :06:20.the day and that there is a great putt from Tom Lewis, getting 5-under

:06:21. > :06:29.par, one shot behind. The thing about moving day is that you can

:06:30. > :06:35.move in two directions, up and down. And Robert Karlsson, having just got

:06:36. > :06:50.into a share of the lead immediately drops back out again. And then there

:06:51. > :06:55.were three. Marc Warren, Kristoffer Broberg and Ricardo Gonzalez out on

:06:56. > :07:08.their own, Tom Lewis climbing to within one shot. Craig Lee going

:07:09. > :07:20.well, the Scot. This is for birdie. It should break at the end. That is

:07:21. > :07:31.an excellent start. That is incredible. 4-under and he has only

:07:32. > :07:44.had four birdies. That is very steady golf on a links course. He is

:07:45. > :07:50.earlier in round three than he would normally be and would want to be but

:07:51. > :07:59.that is a wonderful shot from Rory. That was a huge drive. Just flipping

:08:00. > :08:07.that onto the green. Rickie Fowler with a lovely pics to 12, the par-5.

:08:08. > :08:21.-- lovely pitch. Ladies and gentlemen this is the

:08:22. > :08:38.final game this afternoon. From Scotland, Marc Warren. I enjoy Marc

:08:39. > :08:47.Warren. He is an up and down sort of layer. -- player. Just look at this

:08:48. > :09:00.wonderfully fluent swing. It looks like nothing more than a 6-iron,

:09:01. > :09:10.here. That could be an eight. Which of course, these days, is like a

:09:11. > :09:19.six. The beautiful par-3/17. The Potter in hand for Robert Karlsson.

:09:20. > :09:28.It was the first time they have used the top tier all week on this par-3

:09:29. > :09:35.hole. Marc Warren with rounds of 67 and 69, with a slightly better

:09:36. > :09:44.angle. He can at least hit this more into the breeze. He has 165 to the

:09:45. > :09:57.front and you can and another 26 paces to that. 190-old yardstick go.

:09:58. > :10:09.-- 190-odd yards to go. What a cracker.

:10:10. > :10:29.All is about, into the final hole today. -- Olazabal. 558 yards,

:10:30. > :10:35.par-5, and going with an iron. It is a very narrow hole. I would always

:10:36. > :10:41.hate to do this. Look at that bounding along. He has got into

:10:42. > :10:55.safety. I would rather go with a driver. 409 metres this hole,

:10:56. > :11:01.crosswind from the right, this for a birdie, and the outright lead. We

:11:02. > :11:11.have just had four Brodie is at the opening hole. None better than that.

:11:12. > :11:19.-- four birdies. Just over 190 yards to go. Gorgeous second shot, well

:11:20. > :11:31.done. It is fun when it described well. The par-5 second hole.

:11:32. > :11:37.Gonzales can hit the lead. A double bogey on 18 last night at about

:11:38. > :11:50.quarter to nine. That is a cracking shot. He might just get the lead

:11:51. > :11:57.back. Don't hurry, honey. Tyrell Hatton with a chance for a birdie at

:11:58. > :12:08.the fifth. And a home run. Right in the middle. He has made a couple of

:12:09. > :12:16.good putts today. He should smile after that. It is all fun when it is

:12:17. > :12:18.going well. The par-5 second hole. There is nothing in this putt.

:12:19. > :12:37.Slightly downhill. Well done, lovely eagle. You have

:12:38. > :12:49.got to try and not make the putts too important. You have got to try

:12:50. > :13:00.and treat them the same way. A lot of good shots today. Six at 14. That

:13:01. > :13:13.hurt his cause. Out on 31, still, 67, a fine round. A good group to

:13:14. > :13:21.have gone out earlier with, and now, he can wander around with the

:13:22. > :13:30.leaders. He knows it, too. The Friday blues for Rory Mcilroy. Just

:13:31. > :13:40.flying at over 200 yards. Gonzalez, hitting it. The hole is 20 paces

:13:41. > :13:53.from the front. That just skipped through. David Howell, with his back

:13:54. > :14:04.to us. This, for two, a great one to take. Right in the middle once

:14:05. > :14:15.again. He is fun to watch on the green. Very simple method, but very

:14:16. > :14:32.effective. The birdie putt of Phil Mickelson at 13. Yes, well done. He

:14:33. > :14:35.has worked very hard and stuck in. It has been a good week for Phil

:14:36. > :14:41.Mickelson. It has forced them to focus on the shop in hand. An

:14:42. > :14:46.amazing eagle at the second for Ricardo Gonzalez. It could be a good

:14:47. > :14:55.week for Argentina, with the World Cup final. Robert Karlsson has aimed

:14:56. > :15:07.this a long way to the left, trying to use the bank. Lovely line, the

:15:08. > :15:13.speed is good. I would imagine about five feet nine, hold it nicely, then

:15:14. > :15:22.about four feet to the second where he made the eagle. 446 yards, this

:15:23. > :15:40.par for all. -- this par for all. Tyrell Hatton had made a wonderful

:15:41. > :15:55.start. He has an eagle opportunity at the par-5 sixth hole.

:15:56. > :16:08.Three birdies in the first six holes. This is for par on three, it

:16:09. > :16:23.looks dead straight. And it is, well done, good save from Ricardo,

:16:24. > :16:37.staying at 8-under. David Howell found a bunker. I think that just

:16:38. > :16:47.ran into the bunker. This is Tyrell Hatton at the eighth hole. He's

:16:48. > :16:49.having a great day. Although that is a terrible one for him. One of the

:16:50. > :17:13.unmentionables. That was a good effort. Just again,

:17:14. > :17:21.much more steam, and it might have held its line. The first bogey of

:17:22. > :17:29.the day for David Howell who goes back to 5-under, 1-under for the

:17:30. > :17:37.day. This is Marc Warren, the tournament leader, in great shape. A

:17:38. > :17:56.little right. That is a good shot. You can see all

:17:57. > :17:59.of the slopes before the pin, it is downhill and downwind, everything to

:18:00. > :18:07.the pin, so you cannot really get close.

:18:08. > :18:15.He has a downslope, short of the green, letting it bounce up, if it

:18:16. > :18:22.comes off the bank, it is going to be perfect. Magnificent shot.

:18:23. > :18:30.Excellent shot, for eagle. Using all of the contours. He is a strong

:18:31. > :18:32.player. He had a good win in Ireland a couple of weeks ago in the Irish

:18:33. > :18:55.open. That is going to happen a lot in

:18:56. > :18:59.your career. Just knocking it in with one hand, modularity, until you

:19:00. > :19:10.miss one, and then you ever do it again. -- nonchalantly. As it was

:19:11. > :19:18.yesterday, the fifth hole can be driven. It is a narrow fairway to

:19:19. > :19:22.land it in but if they land it in, it can be drove through the front

:19:23. > :19:33.bunker, so Gonzales certainly can without any trouble at all.

:19:34. > :19:55.That is too far right, maybe? What abounds. -- what a bounce. That is a

:19:56. > :20:08.fantastic shot. 3-wood to the middle of the green. Chance for an eagle.

:20:09. > :20:27.This is a funny putt. If you start it left it would go right, if you

:20:28. > :20:36.start it right, it would go there. He is aiming a little bit right.

:20:37. > :20:43.That would have been some two, but it will be another birdie for our

:20:44. > :20:48.leader. After a fantastic second, this foreign eagle, they gap to

:20:49. > :20:50.6-under. Just a little break from right-to-left. You cannot stop

:20:51. > :21:10.there. This, for birdie. It is 9-under.

:21:11. > :21:19.Very good. Excellent stuff. Great start for Gonzales, going to 9-under

:21:20. > :21:29.par, one clear of Marc Warren. This is Craig Lee, for the birdie at 15.

:21:30. > :21:38.Getting to 7-under. Not quite. Twice a run-up, Craig Lee, on the tool,

:21:39. > :21:45.the European Masters. I'm sure that a win is not far away. A very good

:21:46. > :21:50.player, Craig. He has played well down in South Africa. It is always

:21:51. > :22:03.good to have him at the events that are played in South Africa. David

:22:04. > :22:17.Howell, with a 7-iron, his second shot to the par-5. That is grand.

:22:18. > :22:26.This is a must-make putt for Phil Mickelson. He pushed it. Straight

:22:27. > :23:15.away. So, a birdie is a birdie. Craig Lee

:23:16. > :23:27.for them -- from the bunker at 16. Nicely played. The 37-year-old Scot.

:23:28. > :23:34.He has this one to pick up a couple of shots. He is going to come from

:23:35. > :23:49.the right. Wonderful putt from Justin Rose. Birdie, for the

:23:50. > :23:55.Englishman. That was well hold, keeping the speed up. 5-under. That

:23:56. > :24:07.is one of the better ones out there today. Gonzales at 9-under. Craig

:24:08. > :24:15.Lee, David Howell and Justin Rose up there. And a splendid 66 for the

:24:16. > :24:20.Spaniard, Larrazabal are. Just a little bit of movement to the left

:24:21. > :24:27.of the player and then these two enormous bunkers, you must stay out

:24:28. > :24:41.of those. Most players have. Playing down the breeze, a big bounce that

:24:42. > :24:43.you have two allow for. It kicked in the right direction. This is

:24:44. > :25:00.perfect. This agreement is protected by

:25:01. > :25:07.bunkers, to the left and right, but they are not so bad today. You must

:25:08. > :25:16.plan where the bounce is going to come from, pitch this about 30 yards

:25:17. > :25:27.short. Good swing of the club. Throwing it up there are little

:25:28. > :25:34.more. Another wonderful shot. He has always been a good striker of the

:25:35. > :25:41.ball, Marc Warren. Coached by Sam Torrance's father, Bob Torrance. The

:25:42. > :25:49.fundamentals are good. Look at the putting stroke of Justin Rose. This

:25:50. > :26:00.coming from about half a cup outside right, perfect. That is a big miss

:26:01. > :26:21.from short range. On a windy day, you have got to give

:26:22. > :26:31.yourself as many opportunities as you can, and take advantage of a few

:26:32. > :26:37.more. The birdies are going to be harder to come by on the way in for

:26:38. > :26:43.Justin Rose. Shane Lowry. Great shot. There is a little shelf there.

:26:44. > :26:50.The ball was pitched just on top of it. This is egg for Broberg, and

:26:51. > :27:01.eagle opportunity at the sixth hole. -- this is big. He looks at the

:27:02. > :27:19.caddy as if to say, can you believe that? He is even through his first

:27:20. > :27:28.six today, back to where he started. A good chance for Marc Warren. He is

:27:29. > :27:41.a streaky putter, Marc Warren. Different swing to his left. He

:27:42. > :27:46.knows that were slightly over hit. Just watch this at from full

:27:47. > :27:52.Mickelson here. He does not want to bogey it again. That has been the

:27:53. > :27:55.story of his year. He played well on Thursday and missed a putt of

:27:56. > :28:39.similar length for the bogey. Marc Warren very close, there. He

:28:40. > :28:42.has had a little bit of time and it has gone back in the last couple of

:28:43. > :28:47.years. I'd love to see win this and making the Ryder Cup. We mustn't get

:28:48. > :29:02.too far ahead of ourselves as Broberg goes for birdie. How things

:29:03. > :29:18.change. Marc Warren looking to make it to 10-under par.

:29:19. > :29:28.It is a wonderful leader board. And it is impossible to pick a winner.

:29:29. > :29:31.It is the only hole on the front nine that you play back into the

:29:32. > :29:44.breeze. Just make that quick adjustment. The ball further back in

:29:45. > :29:50.the stance. He has hit some good shots but that is the best one he

:29:51. > :30:03.has hit so far, this front side. Looking good for three in a row for

:30:04. > :30:08.the Swede. Hopefully the final putt of this third round for Craig Lee.

:30:09. > :30:14.He lost in a play-off at the European Masters to Thomas Bjorn

:30:15. > :30:19.last year. Shot a 61 in round three. That is a very welcome return to top

:30:20. > :30:24.form for the Scot. Have you ever tried that, Sam? I have, actually,

:30:25. > :30:32.but it was off the back of a boat. Similar thing. It looks peaceful. It

:30:33. > :30:34.was. Here is a man who has suddenly got it going, young Christopher

:30:35. > :30:44.Broberg from Sweden. A player still looking for his first

:30:45. > :31:00.win. This would be one heck of a par

:31:01. > :31:12.save. This is downhill, right-to-left, and back into the

:31:13. > :31:18.wind. Good try. You cannot fault with stroke there. It is a nice

:31:19. > :31:31.breeze today, that is probably the best way to describe it, just a good

:31:32. > :31:36.test. The leaders in double figures. Marc Warren, this goes down, he

:31:37. > :31:40.narrows the gap. Watch out for this young man, Tyrrell Hatton. He must

:31:41. > :31:48.be in contention for the Rookie of the year title. There seems to be a

:31:49. > :31:51.lot of pressure on the players now on either side of the -- on the

:31:52. > :32:04.other side of the Atlantic. First drop shot. Dropping two behind

:32:05. > :32:11.now, Marc Warren. Back to Justin Rose. This is a pill, it should

:32:12. > :32:17.break a little bit from his left. -- this is uphill. Probably influenced

:32:18. > :32:28.by the shoulder of the bunker to his right. APPLAUSE

:32:29. > :32:46.He sinks another one, the youngster, Tyrrell Hatton. They were just

:32:47. > :32:56.pumping out players a decade ago but then a bit of a lull. Now we look at

:32:57. > :33:10.the short 11th. 157, he is leaning left. It is good now. Just over a

:33:11. > :33:22.little mound. Yes. He knows he got away with it.

:33:23. > :33:29.Gonzales, more of an upper body movement. He did not want it to fly

:33:30. > :33:36.to much. It nearly goes down! It was right online. 44 years old, the man

:33:37. > :33:48.from Rosario. Four-time winner on the European tour, playing

:33:49. > :33:56.beautifully. The boys from Northern Ireland, they know how to move it

:33:57. > :34:01.around on a windy day. Nice position here for Justin to pick up his

:34:02. > :34:09.second birdie in a row. A little bit uphill, right-to-left. Two birdies

:34:10. > :34:23.in a row. So, Gonzales to match Rose. He moves

:34:24. > :35:03.within one of Marc Warren. Well done Shane. A two-time winner

:35:04. > :35:08.on the European tour and another player who has found a really good

:35:09. > :35:15.level of consistency in the last 18 months or so. The overnight leader,

:35:16. > :35:20.Marc Warren. This is just left of the flag. That has held up in the

:35:21. > :35:41.wind OK. Coming round nicely, for birdie.

:35:42. > :35:46.Well holed. Great putt from David Howell. Back to five under. Five

:35:47. > :35:55.behind. The sort of putt you would like to

:35:56. > :36:10.have, a double bit downhill, right-to-left. Beautifully holed.

:36:11. > :36:12.The Scotsman -- one of the Scotsman is going to be happy, whether that

:36:13. > :36:33.is you Dougie, or Sam Torrance... A little colder than it was

:36:34. > :36:42.earlier. The wind is still up. You can see how horrid this grass is

:36:43. > :36:56.here. What have we got? Rose is in much better shape. It is not too bad

:36:57. > :37:01.where his ball is. He marched out the yardage so that he does not go

:37:02. > :37:14.over the green on that line. That is all he could do. That is well done.

:37:15. > :37:19.This one is terrible. The ball is well above his feet. The rough is

:37:20. > :37:24.going to really grab the shaft. There you go, no chance. A shake of

:37:25. > :37:33.the head. The young Englishman, Tyrrell

:37:34. > :37:56.Hatton. Genius. He is too young to be that good! The

:37:57. > :38:04.crowds have come out thick, all the Aberdonians, may be stealing a few

:38:05. > :38:14.from the other counties. Three in a row now for Justin Rose. So, it is

:38:15. > :38:15.the English against the Scots at the moment. That happened a few years

:38:16. > :38:27.ago. Gonzales. No movement in this one

:38:28. > :38:29.but he certainly needs to make it, the way his playing companion is

:38:30. > :38:44.holding birdies right and centre. He got a great read off Justin, just

:38:45. > :38:49.not quite firm enough on that line. Unfortunately this is for bogey.

:38:50. > :38:53.What a shame for David. He has gone along so nicely. Three shots gone in

:38:54. > :39:17.to holed 's -- in two holes. Slightly obstructed view, for

:39:18. > :39:26.Broberg. Just comes up a little bit. It is fine, though. It is a pretty

:39:27. > :39:32.straight putt from there. Look at that beautiful angle into the pin.

:39:33. > :39:39.He wants to land this five feet short, jump it up to feet past.

:39:40. > :39:41.Stone dead. He is well capable of it too. Great chance here for Marc

:39:42. > :39:57.Warren. Excellent shot. Excellent shot.

:39:58. > :40:03.Great chance again for Warren. He had a great chance of winning at

:40:04. > :40:16.Castle Stuart. He is back trying again. This is 14. Fabrizio Zanotti,

:40:17. > :40:22.he made eight just in front of here not long ago. Rose deliberately laid

:40:23. > :40:35.up, little hazard. It is a grass wall he is trying to hit across. A

:40:36. > :40:46.wayward shot, the worst we have seen from Rose today. Right off the wall.

:40:47. > :41:02.That is a horrid spot. Broberg, for his birdie. 13. A touch

:41:03. > :41:04.right-to-left. Speed no problem. It is a great putt from Broberg. What a

:41:05. > :41:17.good birdie. A rather snazzy pair of shoes,

:41:18. > :41:19.little purple accent. I know you have a pair like that in your

:41:20. > :41:30.closet, Sam. This is for birdie on 18. Chance.

:41:31. > :41:45.Just a wee bit aggressive. You always feel you have done that, why

:41:46. > :41:53.did I hear that so hard? Justin Rose is in big trouble at 14, so this

:41:54. > :42:10.would actually be for a big lead. Well done, well done Marc Warren.

:42:11. > :42:18.Broberg and Rose tied for second. Great stuff from Marc Warren, six

:42:19. > :42:24.under today. He has been lucky, what a lie, Frank.

:42:25. > :42:39.He could have been in all sorts of problems. The kick off the shoulder.

:42:40. > :42:42.Fortunately, that is a putt for par. A win this week and Rose would move

:42:43. > :42:53.to the number three position in the world ranking. He has really played

:42:54. > :43:09.well. Remember that name, Tyrrell Hatton. Marc Warren.

:43:10. > :43:19.No danger in the tee shot. Just knock it up the fairway. Then

:43:20. > :43:33.straight in the bunker. That was a poor shot, Marc. He has got the

:43:34. > :43:36.driver out. On the left side it is 240. It is another 20 at least to

:43:37. > :43:57.carry it on the left side. He has ripped it. It is a little

:43:58. > :44:06.right? Well, it is magnificent. If you can do that, it is worth it. You

:44:07. > :44:24.might only get it once out of ten but great shot, got away with it.

:44:25. > :44:43.Just got to hang tough. We saw Marc Warren in the bunker. He has come

:44:44. > :44:49.out to hear. He will have a long shot in, just needs to make sure he

:44:50. > :45:05.makes his five now. Playing 190, he has 169. The breeze

:45:06. > :45:07.is making it a clear 190. The pin is just in front of the TV tower. The

:45:08. > :45:25.second toughest hole on the course. Started down the right. As it

:45:26. > :45:33.dragged back? Hopefully. That is OK. That is a very good shot from Marc

:45:34. > :45:39.Warren there. That is just a huge tee shot. There have been very few

:45:40. > :45:58.birdies here. He gets a nice kick. One more

:45:59. > :46:07.bounce. Still an excellent chance for three here at the tough 14th.

:46:08. > :46:11.105 perfect position here. He is going to try and take this a little

:46:12. > :46:29.lower than he has been. That is exactly what he has done. It did not

:46:30. > :46:33.sound like the best of strikes. It bounces beautifully, so you do not

:46:34. > :46:42.see those big deep divots. But you have still got to be precise. Marc

:46:43. > :46:49.Warren, bogey free so far. APPLAUSE Very good effort.

:46:50. > :47:00.A shot drop but it is not a disaster.

:47:01. > :47:41.Oh how quickly things change. A real tussle. The hole just tilted to the

:47:42. > :47:52.left. That never looked anything other than going straight down the

:47:53. > :48:03.middle of the hole. Rose is just two back now. Mikko Ilonen at four

:48:04. > :48:05.under, this to get to five. A birdie on 16, can he do it on 17? Yes he

:48:06. > :48:21.can. His sixth birdie of the day. Coming towards the closing stages of

:48:22. > :48:33.this third round here at Royal Aberdeen golf club. Justin Rose.

:48:34. > :48:43.179, beautiful position. Let the wind bring it in.

:48:44. > :48:55.Excellent shot. That is the brave side of the green.

:48:56. > :49:09.As we watch Mikko Ilonen. He has tossed this one right up in the air,

:49:10. > :49:15.get it. Many years ago he won the amateur

:49:16. > :50:08.championship. He looked for a bit too much. As it

:50:09. > :50:22.came off the part, you knew he looked for a bit too much. Maybe a

:50:23. > :50:27.bit of a slight pull. Ilonen looking to finish with a birdie at the last.

:50:28. > :50:30.You just need to have that little bit of pace at the end of it to hold

:50:31. > :50:37.the ball on line. Another fine day's work from the

:50:38. > :50:53.tall Finn, 69. Getting away right. He has been lucky. Final tee shot

:50:54. > :51:12.for Rose, just an iron. The ball Tracer giving us an idea of

:51:13. > :51:25.the swing path, the flight of the ball. Beautiful. It certainly is.

:51:26. > :51:46.Now the leader. This is way right. Whoa! That is bunker bound. Good

:51:47. > :51:50.fortune really. He would have had no shot if he was in the staff behind

:51:51. > :51:56.it. That is a good break for our leader. That is how the leaderboard

:51:57. > :52:01.looks coming towards the end of this third round.

:52:02. > :52:17.Marc Warren leads by one, but for how much longer?

:52:18. > :52:36.Worthy of the applause there. Rose, from 171 with the wind straight off

:52:37. > :52:46.the left. What a shot. Rose has somehow made five birdies on his

:52:47. > :52:48.homeward nine. They have been very bold, very positive strokes all the

:52:49. > :53:03.time. Up the hill. That was not the best putt that

:53:04. > :53:26.Justin hit all day, by any means. Still looking in splendid form,

:53:27. > :53:39.Justin Rose. 69, 68, 66. The progression is good. Broberg with a

:53:40. > :53:40.bit of work to do for his par at 17. Did not start out in the middle of

:53:41. > :53:45.the whole. I do like to see a little lag. Slap

:53:46. > :54:16.bang in the middle. Six under still might be out of it.

:54:17. > :54:21.-- still might not be out of it. APPLAUSE

:54:22. > :54:51.Into the bunker I would think. Every chance. Which way is he going to

:54:52. > :55:02.come out? He will want the -- he will want the wispy rough. He

:55:03. > :55:15.has to be careful he does not get too cute. It really was a risky

:55:16. > :55:24.shot. We have a fox on the box. The pin is right in the middle of the

:55:25. > :55:40.green, ten paces on. Another cracking shot.

:55:41. > :56:08.That should be on a good line. APPLAUSE

:56:09. > :56:15.There is a good rhythm in this putt much it has two fall away to the

:56:16. > :56:35.left. It will begin with a nasty one.

:56:36. > :56:41.There will be a big draw if this goes in. Instead a groan as it slips

:56:42. > :57:09.past. -- would be a big roar. Good playing today. A bit of a rocky

:57:10. > :57:14.start for Kristoffer, but he comes back well.

:57:15. > :57:27.Come on, Marc Warren, knock this one in. Marc Warren and Justin Rose will

:57:28. > :57:38.play together as the final pair tomorrow afternoon. Leading the

:57:39. > :57:48.Scottish Open by one. It is Justin Rose and Marc Warren who lead by one

:57:49. > :57:55.from Kristoffer Broberg. Tyrrell Hatton, in his rookie year on tour,

:57:56. > :58:01.how excited will he be tonight? Today was as good as I have played,

:58:02. > :58:03.I want to say in a long time. Probably my second round at

:58:04. > :58:08.Congressional and that round there, two of the best rounds I have played

:58:09. > :58:11.all year. I think I got a close to the whole many times there, which is

:58:12. > :58:16.tough to do on a links course. Really happy with way the game has

:58:17. > :58:20.progressed throughout the week. I think the front nine I played really

:58:21. > :58:26.well and was in control of what I was doing. Maybe had a couple of

:58:27. > :58:30.fairway bunkers which is a 1-shot penalty around here. I managed to

:58:31. > :58:39.save par once and give myself a good chance at 18. Taking it to tomorrow

:58:40. > :58:42.in a great position. Plenty of low scores once again on the testing

:58:43. > :58:46.Royal Aberdeen links and there is a real chase in prospect not only for

:58:47. > :58:55.the title but for the three remaining qualifying spots for The

:58:56. > :58:57.Open Championship at Hoylake. We will be back tomorrow.
