:00:00. > :00:45.The great players in the world have done well at Agusta. Always a dream

:00:46. > :00:51.to put on that green jacket. It has come true. There it is, a win for

:00:52. > :00:57.the ages. You have to be a complete player to win the Masters, I think.

:00:58. > :01:04.That is the way champions do it. Yes, what a man. Terrific stuff. It

:01:05. > :01:17.will always stand out as the biggest achievement I ever had. What a way

:01:18. > :01:24.to finish. Oh, what a shot! Never had a dream go this far. It feels

:01:25. > :01:33.awesome. I had an experience I will remember the rest of my life. Oh,

:01:34. > :01:45.yes ! . Cabrera takes the green jacket. This is to win. A life

:01:46. > :01:55.changer. Finally a green jacket. There is something about it, it is

:01:56. > :02:02.the Masters. Hello, the 10th hole at Augusta on,

:02:03. > :02:08.this has been a career defining place, life changing spot. Bubba

:02:09. > :02:15.Watson hitting that banana shot en route to play-off victory. Adam

:02:16. > :02:23.Scott hitting a 15 foot macro shot here. Where will this year's masters

:02:24. > :02:27.be decided. Hard to tell, we could crown the youngest, the oldest, a

:02:28. > :02:33.European, somebody who has already won it. So many questions, with only

:02:34. > :02:36.five shots separating the top 15 players. The green jacket, take your

:02:37. > :03:00.pick? Sunday, at the Masters.

:03:01. > :03:05.It is a day we look forward to, so much every year. Not much room on

:03:06. > :03:12.this leaderboard, 14 shots separating the co-leaders from the

:03:13. > :03:19.last man in the field. That close. This final day promises so much

:03:20. > :03:22.drama. The rookie, Spieth, but the winner has not come from the final

:03:23. > :03:30.pairing in the last three years. Will it be the chasing pack? Matt

:03:31. > :03:34.Kuchar, Jonas Blixt. Miguel Angel Jimenez's stunning round yesterday,

:03:35. > :03:40.he could be the oldest champion ever, 50 years of age. He is

:03:41. > :03:46.alongside the dangerous Rickie Fowler, to macro shots behind. Might

:03:47. > :03:53.it be Lee Westwood's chance at last? He is not out of it, Ian

:03:54. > :03:58.Poulter either. There is the likes of Jason Day, out with Adam Scott,

:03:59. > :04:09.the defending champion. Jamie Donaldson, four over. Rory McIlroy,

:04:10. > :04:16.also four over. The former champion, Mike Weir, there is Sandy Lyle,

:04:17. > :04:19.8-over, through 13 holes now. He began it all for British golf at the

:04:20. > :04:28.Masters. Play began at 3:10pm. Let me show

:04:29. > :04:34.you the look of the last five pairings to head out on the course.

:04:35. > :04:38.Thomas Bjorn, 43 still believes that first major could be within his

:04:39. > :04:42.grasp. Justin Rose winning the US open last year. Seasoned

:04:43. > :04:50.campaigners, Lee Westwood, Jim Furyk. Miguel Angel Jimenez, playing

:04:51. > :04:56.with a star half his age, Rickie Fowler. Matt Kuchar got under way

:04:57. > :05:04.moments ago with Jonas Blixt. He has made more birdies here than anyone

:05:05. > :05:06.else, 14 and counting. Just a few minutes until the co-leaders, Jordan

:05:07. > :05:20.Spieth and Bubba Watson make their way to the first ten -- tee. Some

:05:21. > :05:28.strong wind today. Could ask questions. We have 15 minutes until

:05:29. > :05:32.full coverage begins. Keep in touch through the usual channels. You can

:05:52. > :05:53.can access those treasures. Has the tournament reaches its

:06:00. > :06:06.tablets, desktop, and television. Get close to the world's best, CD

:06:07. > :06:18.players through Amen Corner. Following ball by ball, or catch up

:06:19. > :06:25.on Hulls 16 and 15. -- holes. You can watch their right now. You can

:06:26. > :06:31.have a second screen if you are into multitasking. You can soak it all in

:06:32. > :06:36.with us. You can do so in the company of my two guests. They have

:06:37. > :06:43.both come back. Messieurs Peter Alliss and Paul Azinger. And you

:06:44. > :06:52.assess drama potentially coming up? -- how do you. Very difficult, so

:06:53. > :06:58.many pockets of joy and sadness. I was get quite emotional on final

:06:59. > :07:03.days, this is one of the world's great sporting events, not just

:07:04. > :07:10.golf. If you love the game, you know the sadness, the joy, the

:07:11. > :07:17.aggravation, the pain, the luck. You try and put it together, explaining

:07:18. > :07:23.to friends at home, very hard to understand, will be old boys do it?

:07:24. > :07:32.The young fellows? I don't know. -- the old boys. How far back made this

:07:33. > :07:44.green jacket be won from? I think the players to -- two under think

:07:45. > :07:49.they have a chance. Amazing to go to bed thinking you have a chance to

:07:50. > :07:56.win, and waking up. That night's sleep changes so much. The hard

:07:57. > :08:01.thing is, when you tee off at 2:40pm, you cannot help project into

:08:02. > :08:05.the future about what may happen. You think about the negatives, the

:08:06. > :08:11.positives, not until you get inside the ropes, the sanctuary, you can be

:08:12. > :08:19.wrapped up in the present. That is the key. The leading up, Peter, so

:08:20. > :08:25.difficult. Tiger figured out how to do it better than anyone. Until you

:08:26. > :08:38.were in that sanctuary, you aren't in the moment. For Messieurs Blixt

:08:39. > :08:42.and Spieth a big day, we have a record crop of young players. These

:08:43. > :09:00.are the guys making the headlines. He is the youngest 54 hole leader.

:09:01. > :09:09.The last rookie to win, remember Fuzzy? My mission was to get back

:09:10. > :09:16.in, I had accomplished my goal, I had won my first play-off. I had

:09:17. > :09:22.nothing to lose. He thought I got to hit my putt, you think about the

:09:23. > :09:28.times you have had that putt, practising as a golfer. I am one of

:09:29. > :09:35.the fortunate few, what a great feeling. The galleries,

:09:36. > :09:43.unbelievable. It was a dream come true. It sure does not feel like 35

:09:44. > :09:48.years ago. The numbers are stacking up for the man in green. In 1963

:09:49. > :09:54.Jack Nicklaus became the youngest champion, 17 years later, usurped by

:09:55. > :10:03.Seve Ballesteros. 17 years on, Tiger Woods. Yes, it is 17 years since

:10:04. > :10:15.Tiger's triumph. How likely is a Masters champion, 20 years of age.

:10:16. > :10:20.It is his maturity. It is given to very few selected people. You can

:10:21. > :10:24.see them if you are an observer of things. He has been quietly

:10:25. > :10:33.confident. A good vocabulary, saying the right things. He does not say, I

:10:34. > :10:38.feel, not things he has rehearsed. I'm going to say this, I'm going to

:10:39. > :10:43.say that. It comes out naturally. He seems to be in control of things. As

:10:44. > :10:49.we were saying before, we have to wait for another five or six hours

:10:50. > :10:53.to see whether he can do it. Golf is a slow game, one of the curses of

:10:54. > :11:01.the game, you have to much time to think. He has had a lot of time to

:11:02. > :11:07.think. One old head, a two-time champion, Bernhard Langer, this is

:11:08. > :11:13.at the 5th hole. A treacherous green. He has done it so many times.

:11:14. > :11:22.Right in the thick of things last year. A runaway leader on the

:11:23. > :11:29.champions Tour. There he years. An eagle at the 2nd as well. He then

:11:30. > :11:36.full for Bernhard Langer, again. Level par, only five shots behind.

:11:37. > :11:44.Warming up rather nicely. We were talking about Jordan Spieth, let's

:11:45. > :11:49.get the thoughts of someone who has his own unique take on life in

:11:50. > :11:58.golf. When it comes to Sunday afternoon, that is when he will get

:11:59. > :12:09.phased. He may get a Z. There are some reachable par fives, not

:12:10. > :12:17.exactly gettable. -- tased. Whether you can make a big boy's decision.

:12:18. > :12:21.It can be a big decision to lay up. Really hard for these guys to do.

:12:22. > :12:27.Leaving a very typical birdshot. Having said that, Jordan Spieth, he

:12:28. > :12:32.is the real thing. The best young player I have seen since Tiger

:12:33. > :12:36.Woods. It would not surprise me to see him get into contention. He is

:12:37. > :12:44.perfectly capable of winning this event at 20 years old. Do you

:12:45. > :12:52.agree? I do. He has to improve it today. Going back to what Peter

:12:53. > :12:58.said, it takes forever to play this game, a golf swing only takes one

:12:59. > :13:04.second, if you shoot 70, that is only a minute or two. The rest of it

:13:05. > :13:09.is thinking. If I was counselling Jordan Spieth, I would tend to look

:13:10. > :13:18.down the driveway. You are going to see these for 20 or 30 years, just

:13:19. > :13:21.focus on them. It is about a bunch of guys you are going to see for the

:13:22. > :13:27.rest of your life, and celebrate with. Get your mind off the

:13:28. > :13:34.magnitude of this. These guys are just as nervous as he years. You

:13:35. > :13:42.ready has a green jacket, his playing partner, Bubba Watson. He is

:13:43. > :13:52.trying to put a second one in his locker in the Champions' Room.

:13:53. > :14:11.The nerves are getting to Bubba. Get up there, Bubba. Oh, no. What a

:14:12. > :14:20.shot! And why not? The first time in 25 Majors he has played where he has

:14:21. > :14:25.been co-leader after 54 holes. A new experience, Ken has been analysing

:14:26. > :14:32.his remarkable swing. Give us your benefit of wisdom about this swing?

:14:33. > :14:36.He has been swinging with confidence, he shapes the ball a

:14:37. > :14:43.mighty distance. He has been fading his tee shots. This is a very

:14:44. > :14:51.idiosyncratic action. Huge clubhead speed. Just watch this in slow

:14:52. > :14:56.motion. Look where his hips are pointing. His right toe, going

:14:57. > :15:05.further and further back. Enormous turn. His hips are pointing to the

:15:06. > :15:17.back of the tee. All the power on the ball, 183 mph. His feet, jumping

:15:18. > :15:21.out the way. You cannot teach that. Watching that swing reminds me of

:15:22. > :15:26.the quote that those of us make the mistake of thinking that the power

:15:27. > :15:29.comes from your arms and hands whereas they do nails at the bottom

:15:30. > :15:34.of your shoes to tell you where the power comes from. Look at his hips

:15:35. > :15:39.as they Owen Coyle and then watch his feet. They look as if they are

:15:40. > :15:49.pushing in two the ground. The arms and hands just carry the message.

:15:50. > :15:53.Yesterday it was the story of Bubba. He looked a little bit tentative

:15:54. > :16:00.early on. What were your thoughts on that? I can tell you from personal

:16:01. > :16:06.experience, when I came up short, I got nervous. It is a problem in the

:16:07. > :16:10.mind. You are thinking defensively, you are thinking about not leaving

:16:11. > :16:15.yourself a long putt coming back. You get so cautious and so defensive

:16:16. > :16:21.that you are sabotaging yourself to the point where you are leaving

:16:22. > :16:27.yourself difficult second putts. If we look at the slow motion of this.

:16:28. > :16:33.You would never hit a putt like that in practice. It is the pressure.

:16:34. > :16:42.Joking is in your head. You just cannot let it go. If you could play

:16:43. > :16:49.golf in real-time as you do in practice rounds, it would be great.

:16:50. > :16:53.There is one man hanging around one shot further back and it is Matt

:16:54. > :16:58.Kuchar. He has had 33 top tens in the last five years. He has always

:16:59. > :17:03.threatened to win one of the big ones. I wonder how popular a winner

:17:04. > :17:09.he would be. What would you say are the best qualities about his game?

:17:10. > :17:12.He has had his bad times. He has played very consistently over the

:17:13. > :17:19.last five years. The strange thing is, people say he must win, but he

:17:20. > :17:25.is very successful. Most of us come in two sport to make a living. Not

:17:26. > :17:32.many people can be the greatest player but if he wins he smiles.

:17:33. > :17:38.This was at the 15th. This was an utterly remarkable chip. He said it

:17:39. > :17:43.was one of the best of his life. I think he said it was the best shot

:17:44. > :17:48.of his life. I love his quote afterwards, I think he said, golf

:17:49. > :17:54.will be due up enough on its own, I don't want to help it along by

:17:55. > :17:59.beating myself up. He has that great mindset that it takes to play well

:18:00. > :18:05.in major Championships. I said yesterday, nobody temperamentally

:18:06. > :18:08.weak can win this tournament. He was eighth last year and he was only two

:18:09. > :18:16.shots off the play-offs a couple of year ago when Bubba one. Let's get

:18:17. > :18:21.out to Rishi Persad and he is with a man, one of our colleagues from New

:18:22. > :18:25.Zealand, who had a fourth place finish behind Nick Faldo in 1996. I

:18:26. > :18:30.am sure you know who I am talking about.

:18:31. > :18:36.Frank, a fascinating day in store. At the top, the Watson and Jordan

:18:37. > :18:41.Spieth, they are sharing the lead, but with very different mindsets.

:18:42. > :18:46.You have got a 20-year-old who does not seem to be affected by anything

:18:47. > :18:49.which is absolutely amazing. Meanwhile we saw the frailty of

:18:50. > :18:56.Bubba Watson which in some respects makes you very endearing. He made

:18:57. > :19:01.two really good par putts at 17 and 18 which I think will bode well for

:19:02. > :19:07.him today. It would be very unusual for Bubba to struggle to days in a

:19:08. > :19:16.row but to have 14 guys within a few shots, Blixt might become the first

:19:17. > :19:22.first time ever to win. It is perfect weather. Justin Rose and Lee

:19:23. > :19:28.Westwood in particular, the person many people say deserves a major

:19:29. > :19:35.win, what about their chances? They are in the situation with Nick Faldo

:19:36. > :19:40.was in 1989. Only twice in the last few years has the winner come from

:19:41. > :19:44.outside the last two groups but if you look at the last few holes on

:19:45. > :19:49.this golf course, if they can get going through 13 and 15 and make a

:19:50. > :19:53.birdie at 17 or 18, it is going to be in posing. They have got to get

:19:54. > :20:02.to five or 6-under on a day like today. At the moment, it should be a

:20:03. > :20:05.second shot golf course. All locations are more or less identical

:20:06. > :20:12.to what they were last year so they should be no surprises. Justin Rose

:20:13. > :20:17.has played well to days in a row. There could be encouraging signs for

:20:18. > :20:24.a first European winner since Jose Maria Olazabal. In total, six

:20:25. > :20:31.Europeans have won the Masters and three UK golfers. An Englishman, a

:20:32. > :20:34.Scotsman and a Welshman. But of the names currently in the frame for

:20:35. > :20:40.Europe, which one would you give the greatest chance to? I was very

:20:41. > :20:45.impressed with Justin Rose and the way he won the U.S. Open last year.

:20:46. > :20:52.But we often say, when we are chatting away over a cup of tee,

:20:53. > :20:56.that it is just good fortune, you might hit a shot that goes like

:20:57. > :21:04.that, or you may take a shot and get the result that McIlroy did. You

:21:05. > :21:07.mentioned Justin Rose and unique situation where he should have gone

:21:08. > :21:14.back in two the water. Perhaps that is the spark. He starts a few shots

:21:15. > :21:22.off the pace. Paul, for you, the best chance for a European? Whoever

:21:23. > :21:26.putts the best. You have got to make the putt when it matters the most.

:21:27. > :21:33.Bubba Gables a field yesterday that he did not feel well. If he plays

:21:34. > :21:40.well today he can overpower the course. I expect Westwood to be the

:21:41. > :21:44.best European. His game under pressure is almost always

:21:45. > :21:48.unflappable. It is around the green he gets in trouble. The fact it

:21:49. > :21:55.always comes down to the putt is the only reason Westwood has not done it

:21:56. > :22:00.yet. Interestingly it is Jonas Blixt and Jimenez from Spain are the only

:22:01. > :22:07.players who have not had a three putt all week. M, that 66

:22:08. > :22:14.yesterday, equalling Fred Couples as the best player -- oldest player to

:22:15. > :22:19.make 66, he is just the kind of character that would be a wonderful

:22:20. > :22:25.popular winner. Definitely, everybody loves Jimenez. His

:22:26. > :22:31.demeanour. Anybody who can fire up a cigar at 9:30am in the morning, I am

:22:32. > :22:37.a fan of that guy. A ponytail on the golf course is also quite cool. He

:22:38. > :22:41.batted well, that can carry over. It is amazing what that eight hours of

:22:42. > :22:53.sleep can do to your body. Golf is such a hard game. I think the fact

:22:54. > :22:58.they have not had a three putt, that carries on so watch out. As we watch

:22:59. > :23:04.Bernard Langer padding. It is interesting to note that Jimenez, 12

:23:05. > :23:09.birdies this week, eight of them have been made at the par fours. He

:23:10. > :23:13.really is playing very well on the ordinary holes and it is on the

:23:14. > :23:22.other ones he seems to have struggled. You mention Lee Westwood,

:23:23. > :23:29.how do you assess his chances? What is critical today? I think the tee

:23:30. > :23:33.to green game is going to be good. I don't think he makes mental

:23:34. > :23:38.mistakes. It is how he can do on these lightning fast greens.

:23:39. > :23:42.Watching events very closely is going to be the European Ryder Cup

:23:43. > :23:48.captain because events at Gleneagles in September and October are coming

:23:49. > :23:53.upon us very quickly. Gleneagles Ryder Cup captain, Paul

:23:54. > :23:57.McGinley, beside me. It has been a tremendous effort from the European

:23:58. > :24:02.players. Take me through their challenge today. They have got a

:24:03. > :24:11.chance. They are going to have to play well. But they are obviously

:24:12. > :24:16.all playing well. Jimenez, the lowest score of the week, Sony is in

:24:17. > :24:21.form. He was the standout player in the Asia cup. He has got a bit of

:24:22. > :24:30.form at the moment and he has got a lot of heart. Three times he came up

:24:31. > :24:36.the 18th hole and twice he birdied it. That is one example of what he

:24:37. > :24:41.is like. You will be formidable but fingers crossed for them all. You

:24:42. > :24:45.know so many of the players, guys like Lee Westwood looking for that

:24:46. > :24:52.first major, Justin Rose. What would be your advice to them? They know

:24:53. > :24:57.the game better than I do but the big thing is, with so many guys

:24:58. > :25:01.around you, it is trying to run a race. If you are looking at the guys

:25:02. > :25:07.around you, you are not looking forward. Keep your strategy, be

:25:08. > :25:10.focused on your own game and try and run the race as fast as you can and

:25:11. > :25:16.at the end look around to see how you have done. The back nine,

:25:17. > :25:21.looking at the pins, there are some birdie and eagle opportunities. The

:25:22. > :25:28.front nine is a little bit tougher. I can see few fireworks on the back

:25:29. > :25:34.nine. That gentleman's workload as a Ryder

:25:35. > :25:38.Cup captain, it will be tough, but Jimenez also looking to be the

:25:39. > :25:43.oldest player to appear in the Ryder Cup. We are in the beautiful

:25:44. > :25:48.surroundings of the driving range but let's get in two the engine room

:25:49. > :25:54.of our operations at Augusta. It is the commentary box.

:25:55. > :25:59.It is not all glamour at August in. Some people have got to sit in the

:26:00. > :26:04.commentary box. It is quite a nice little cosy situation. We all sit

:26:05. > :26:08.around in a circle and this is where I put all my commentary notes. The

:26:09. > :26:14.scoring computer helps you with the scores. A nice clear monitor to see

:26:15. > :26:20.the play. Your microphone. And then I have a few notes. I call it my

:26:21. > :26:27.yardage card. I don't know why. It is a piece of paper with one or two

:26:28. > :26:31.notes, the names of the hole, and then one or two extra bits and

:26:32. > :26:36.pieces that I might find useful. I have kept them for the last ten

:26:37. > :26:41.years or more and this is the group of the last ten years for the final

:26:42. > :26:45.day. It gives me a chance to compare with the pins are going to be. Just

:26:46. > :26:54.looking at the 18th hole, down at the bottom, the pain last year was

:26:55. > :27:00.on nine and forth from the left. Nine and six from the left, nine and

:27:01. > :27:07.five from the left, you start to get a pattern. All the way through, it

:27:08. > :27:12.has been the same. I am just going to check with today's pin position.

:27:13. > :27:21.Surprise, surprise, there is the 18th. It is nine and four, classic

:27:22. > :27:29.final day pin position. I sit Ian White cosily, sometimes bits and

:27:30. > :27:39.pieces collected around -- I sit here quite cosily. This is where we

:27:40. > :27:45.announce all the action. Ken is going to be doing a Facebook

:27:46. > :27:50.question and answer at 8:30pm your time answering questions on how to

:27:51. > :27:55.improve your game. He has got a lot on his plate this evening, it would

:27:56. > :28:00.appear. Meanwhile, a lot on his plate out on the golf course, Ian

:28:01. > :28:05.Poulter. He began five shots off the pace and let me update you on his

:28:06. > :28:15.progress by showing you at the long par-5/3, I beg your pardon, the

:28:16. > :28:18.second. This is where Louis Oosthuizen got that remarkable

:28:19. > :28:24.albatross a few years back. That has given him a chance at a birdie. I am

:28:25. > :28:29.sure he will be trying to chase the leaders, starting from five shots

:28:30. > :28:34.behind. This is the situation. A little bit of movement. John Senden

:28:35. > :28:39.was in the leading group going out on Saturday. He is 1-under after the

:28:40. > :28:48.first. Jordan Spieth is about to get underway. Bernard Langer has been

:28:49. > :28:51.moving steadily. These gentlemen probably not going to be featuring

:28:52. > :28:57.at the latter end of it unless something remarkable happened today.

:28:58. > :29:05.Mike Weir grinning at the rear. The first lefty to win the Masters. By

:29:06. > :29:09.around half past midnight, we should know who will be measuring up for a

:29:10. > :29:21.Green Jacket. But what makes a champion?

:29:22. > :29:29.What does it take to win at Augusta? Resolve.

:29:30. > :29:40.Nerve and determination. If you have got those two working well, you

:29:41. > :29:47.never know. Be the best thinking man on the golf

:29:48. > :30:05.course. Now you know how to master the

:30:06. > :30:10.Masters, from the menu have. So many qualities required, is this

:30:11. > :30:16.final round and enjoyable experience? How stressful can it

:30:17. > :30:23.be? The most stressful golf course in the world. We normally think

:30:24. > :30:30.about that in the swing. Extremely difficult, the luck factor is

:30:31. > :30:38.difficult, the pressure is mounting as the day goes on. The players are

:30:39. > :30:46.nervous all morning. He does not build until later in the day. --

:30:47. > :30:53.it. You can be sure the winner will be happy. If you ask them, honestly,

:30:54. > :30:58.did they enjoy it? It is beautiful, organised beautifully. Did I really

:30:59. > :31:08.enjoyed playing? The answer will be, not really. It is like putting on

:31:09. > :31:22.the top of this table, they used to call it Fletcher's trolley. There is

:31:23. > :31:28.no grip, if you putt on marble. There will be a few marble

:31:29. > :31:35.staircases today. I wonder what awaits us today. In the commentary

:31:36. > :31:45.box, Ken Brown and Andrew Cotter. Good afternoon, warm out there. Ian

:31:46. > :31:54.Poulter, for par on the second. Nicely done. Just looking from the

:31:55. > :32:05.UK point of view, we want someone to make a bit of a challenge today. I

:32:06. > :32:13.remember when Sandy Lyle won, the N'Diaye played -- the only year I

:32:14. > :32:29.played. This is his tee shot, 180 yards. Give us a chance to see that

:32:30. > :32:35.Sunday pin. An outstanding tee shot, a bitter breeze about. Just

:32:36. > :32:51.freshening a fraction. Well done, Sandy. -- bit of. Darren Clarke, he

:32:52. > :32:56.has lost a bit of weight. Is that Andy Sutton? Looking at the tops of

:32:57. > :33:03.the trees. This wind will have a huge effect on the final round. The

:33:04. > :33:16.familiar Sunday pin position, 153 yards. He says, go, stick. It is

:33:17. > :33:26.swimming. Very nearly a good shot, that sums up Agusta. Topple off the

:33:27. > :33:35.edge, in real trouble. That is the leaderboard, Jordan Spieth and Bubba

:33:36. > :33:43.Watson, friends, despite their age, on 5-under. Matt Kuchar and Jonas

:33:44. > :33:47.Blixt on four under. John Senden the only one to go out on that top of

:33:48. > :33:54.the board. Bernhard Langer doing well. Ian Poulter, par on the

:33:55. > :34:00.second. Gary Woodland got it going yesterday on the front nine. Just

:34:01. > :34:05.slowing down on the back. Jason Day ruled out by his first round. A

:34:06. > :34:21.little bit rusty after his problems with his thumb. Rory McIlroy, after

:34:22. > :34:30.Hicks -- six holes, is 4-under. A beautiful setting. Here is the young

:34:31. > :34:35.man, does not do anyone think tremendously well, does everything

:34:36. > :34:44.well. All friendly with his playing partner, Bubba Watson. A little bit

:34:45. > :34:53.of fibreglass, just checking on his alignment. These two guys are first

:34:54. > :35:01.and third in regulation, a lot of talk about how well you have to

:35:02. > :35:14.putt. Very relaxed, see how we does on the putting services. All very

:35:15. > :35:29.friendly. We will go to the 16th green, Sandy Lyle, yes! Back to

:35:30. > :35:50.8-over par. Fred Couples. Well done, Fred. A rare birdie at number one.

:35:51. > :36:00.Macaroni, in the trees. -- McIlroy. A loose tee shot, he had a route

:36:01. > :36:06.through. Stops there, go back. Very close once it has finished, he has

:36:07. > :36:20.read it well. Go on, keep going, make it easy for Rory. Well done,

:36:21. > :36:26.currently 1-under for the round. We saw Bubba Watson driving, he likes

:36:27. > :36:34.to fade it right to left. He has a draw with his short irons. This was

:36:35. > :36:45.on the par five yesterday, going out to the left, judged very well.

:36:46. > :37:00.That was his eagle chance, he popped it in. This is very friendly! The

:37:01. > :37:09.last pairing out. Jonas Blixt in the background, the penultimate group

:37:10. > :37:19.with Matt Kuchar. Jonas Blixt may well be a contender for the European

:37:20. > :37:32.Ryder Cup team. Francesco Molinari, his third at the 15th. He's 12-over

:37:33. > :37:42.par, that to get back to 11, a struggle. Just working on their

:37:43. > :37:49.rhythm, the patrons come in at eight o'clock in the morning, putting

:37:50. > :37:52.their seats into position. You have to do a comedy speed walk, not

:37:53. > :38:02.allowed to run. Some of the finest beach walkers in the world! Ken was

:38:03. > :38:07.having a look around the 10th. The pin is back left for the final

:38:08. > :38:14.round. A reasonable spot. The key thing is to make sure you leave

:38:15. > :38:19.yourself the easiest possible putt. Every difficult if you are too far.

:38:20. > :38:27.You have to leave yourself uphill, a strict putt. If you hit it pin high

:38:28. > :38:35.left. You don't want to go down the bank. Just going round the green.

:38:36. > :38:43.You can afford to give that a go. The other putt that is reasonably

:38:44. > :38:51.easy is this one, right to left. You would be happy to leave it here.

:38:52. > :38:59.Quite a curve. On the Ben Crenshaw line, a bit shorter. Half a chance.

:39:00. > :39:07.He start missing to the right-hand side, you have problems. -- if you

:39:08. > :39:17.start missing. These are the ones, absolutely glassy fast. Now you are

:39:18. > :39:26.coming down a velvet touch. It still wants to trickle, on, on, on. Beyond

:39:27. > :39:35.the cup, coming down the slope, a real slider. This is a tricky one.

:39:36. > :39:41.Probably the hardest one to hold. Not the pace, it turns so much. Left

:39:42. > :39:48.to right. Sliding across the face of the hole. Number ten, left or short.

:39:49. > :39:55.All day, you have to leave yourself the easiest possible putts. If you

:39:56. > :40:00.leave yourself nasty downhill ones, so difficult. You think may hit the

:40:01. > :40:06.green, you will be all right, but you have to get the right spot.

:40:07. > :40:18.Darren Clarke, he was in the water. This must be his fourth. Looking

:40:19. > :40:34.like a double bogey taking him back down to 10-over. The Dutchman, Joost

:40:35. > :40:38.Luiten. Coming up the 18th. An ice chance to see how some of the

:40:39. > :40:48.Europeans are playing. -- nice chance.

:40:49. > :41:01.Four under for the round. That is a gem. A lot of people will take that

:41:02. > :41:07.today. We got a glimpse of Stephen Gallacher, 2-under for his round.

:41:08. > :41:14.The round yesterday really am doing him. Let's go to the third,

:41:15. > :41:31.something has gone wrong for Poulter. Very nearly a birdie

:41:32. > :41:41.though. Stevie. One of the most reliable swings in the game. Can

:41:42. > :41:58.shake it either way. -- shape. Hurry. Oh. The wind is helping it

:41:59. > :42:05.stop. Stephen was asking it to stop. A couple under today. That is what

:42:06. > :42:15.can happen. Luke Donald chip to their a few years ago -- chipped

:42:16. > :42:24.from their a few years ago. Francesco Molinari, lives in London.

:42:25. > :42:38.Italian. Trying to hit this about five yards right of the pin. He did.

:42:39. > :42:43.The line was perfect. These flags are starting to flatter, it is going

:42:44. > :42:48.to be a treacherous afternoon. Maybe not as difficult as Friday, but the

:42:49. > :42:58.breeze getting up to 15 mph. More than enough here. Rickie Fowler,

:42:59. > :43:06.rising today, usually all in Orange. Those are his Arizona colours.

:43:07. > :43:20.Certainly a trendsetter. The great Bernhard Langer. This is going to be

:43:21. > :43:31.handy. Never wasted a single shot, playing, practising. Fascinating,

:43:32. > :43:38.will be entertaining watching Bubba Watson today. We saw that slow

:43:39. > :43:49.motion of his tee shot, it is miraculous. Golf is so heavily

:43:50. > :43:52.coached, he has never had a lesson. He has been Masters champion, in a

:43:53. > :44:00.prime position to do it again, another way of doing it. Poulter

:44:01. > :44:07.opened with a 76, has come back well. The other thing about Bubba,

:44:08. > :44:13.how much he works the ball, moving it through the air, 20-30 yards.

:44:14. > :44:33.Molinari's birdie attempt. Generous applause. This is Thorbjorn

:44:34. > :44:37.Olesen on the 15th. Very solid looking swing. That gets a nice

:44:38. > :44:59.little shoot forward. Two time champion. Well it get

:45:00. > :45:03.there? Like the short backswing, long follow-through, nearly made it.

:45:04. > :45:13.First Lady Masters in 1982. John Senden. This for birdie. In she

:45:14. > :45:25.goes. John Senden getting to two under. He moves up to a tie for

:45:26. > :45:34.seventh. This is a par putt. Not a nice way to finish. There is his

:45:35. > :45:47.card. Had a bad around around the turn yesterday. -- bad one. Jim

:45:48. > :45:54.Furyk. That will go back. You can see the flag, going to be harder.

:45:55. > :46:01.The pin positions on Sunday slightly more generous, to generate more

:46:02. > :46:13.roars around the golf course. Still pretty tricky today. This would be a

:46:14. > :46:30.great way to finish your week. 67, it can be done. One heck of a round.

:46:31. > :46:34.Excellent front line. -- nine. As they finish, a reminder how they go

:46:35. > :46:42.out in the next few minutes. Westwood and Furyk under way.

:46:43. > :46:51.Finally this man alongside Jordan Spieth. The last three champions

:46:52. > :47:01.have not been any final groups. Who knows? This will be an adventure for

:47:02. > :47:18.Fred, trying to use the slope beyond the left. Up it comes, has he hit it

:47:19. > :47:31.hard enough? It is trying. If he had hit it two feet further away.

:47:32. > :47:56.Second shot of Senden, the short par four third. Just wanted that one to

:47:57. > :47:57.hop up their step. -- hop up a step. Going back to the first, Jim Furyk

:47:58. > :48:08.playing alongside Lee Westwood. Jim has played very steadily this

:48:09. > :48:31.week. Testing one for his par. Thomas

:48:32. > :48:46.Bjorn stays two under-par. 243 yards this one is playing. He says, be

:48:47. > :48:52.right. Wrong. This was a couple of years ago, Bubba Watson, out of the

:48:53. > :49:07.trees, watch it on landing. The spin on that wage, incredible. -- wedge.

:49:08. > :49:15.A couple of holes later, he was the champion. I am down on the 10th,

:49:16. > :49:19.where Bubba Watson played that miracle recovery. How on earth do

:49:20. > :49:26.people get there? How on earth did he get it on the green? He had that

:49:27. > :49:35.branch in the way, either under or over. An enormous hook, using his

:49:36. > :49:41.middle wedge, his tee shot would have aimed at that tree, turning the

:49:42. > :49:55.best part of 50 yards, hard enough to do with a 3-iron, with a

:49:56. > :50:02.picture, -- pitcher, that is a miracle. Only a genius could do it,

:50:03. > :50:03.perhaps only Bubba Watson, a special person, didn't he get a special

:50:04. > :50:26.result? The Mechanic. Wherever he plays,

:50:27. > :50:34.everyone loves him. Like his wine, likes a cigar, lots are two. At 50,

:50:35. > :50:56.still going. -- likes his pariah Reid. -- likes his Ferrari. A lot of

:50:57. > :51:18.applause. That is OK. About is the Rickie Fowler a brute of a par

:51:19. > :51:43.three. 67 yesterday for Rickie Fowler. Bending right. If you are

:51:44. > :52:02.lucky enough, the trees are not in your way. Darren Clarke, looking way

:52:03. > :52:15.left. Settle down. Settle down, go in. Wonderful shot from Darren

:52:16. > :52:24.Clarke. That for a birdie. Nice start for Lee Westwood he has come

:52:25. > :52:32.close many times in the last few years. Playing alongside Jim Furyk,

:52:33. > :52:44.this was his putt for par. Well held. He was there in 97, alongside

:52:45. > :52:53.Tiger. Right said Fred, birdie at the 1st. Going down the slope. What

:52:54. > :53:07.a perfect start! They love Freddie here. 3-under, two behind. What a

:53:08. > :53:19.start to his round, three, four. Down the hill for John Senden. This

:53:20. > :53:49.is electrifying Lee fast. -- electrifyingly. The ball almost has

:53:50. > :53:59.a mind of its own. Jose Maria, or -- for a par. Precious for the former

:54:00. > :54:08.champion. That is his caddy, started as an amateur. Gave up his teaching

:54:09. > :54:22.job. Will going tremendously well. -- all. This would be a real boost

:54:23. > :54:32.if he could hold this one. So frustrating. This fourth hole could

:54:33. > :54:51.end up the hardest one of the course today. Let's see if Darren Clarke

:54:52. > :55:00.can make his birdie. Yes, he can. Around Amen Corner, this is what

:55:01. > :55:10.lies in store. Fred Couples making a move, to go to 3-under. Justin

:55:11. > :55:16.Rose, level par after one. Having dropped a shot at the 1st. Adam

:55:17. > :55:26.Scott, all went wrong yesterday, his defence of his title.

:55:27. > :55:39.At the practice ground, a 200 yard walk to the first tee.

:55:40. > :55:54.Not too bad for Jimenez. The difficulty is, he is standing in the

:55:55. > :56:11.pine needles. Less stability under his natty shoes. Solid as a rock.

:56:12. > :56:22.Stay right. Did not bounce. Non-English speaking people still

:56:23. > :56:28.chat to the ball in English! He has been all, Ricky, a straight shot. --

:56:29. > :56:45.all right. Well done. 321 yards off the tee. A

:56:46. > :56:57.little bit of help from the breeze, from behind. Does that go with

:56:58. > :57:08.green? Despise anything goes with a green jacket. -- I suppose anything

:57:09. > :57:13.goes. Managed to get out of this one OK. This is the slope on the

:57:14. > :57:22.seventh, you'd think that is not too bad, that it gets better and better.

:57:23. > :57:29.Never give up on your shot. Hold fire on the applause until it has

:57:30. > :57:37.absolutely finish. Look where he is aiming this putt, outside the hole.

:57:38. > :57:51.Sometimes you think you are aiming to far, and close the club face. --

:57:52. > :58:02.too far. He is aiming up there, and around she goes. Nicely done,

:58:03. > :58:11.dropped a shot at the 1st, should get it back at the 2nd. If he does

:58:12. > :58:20.roll that in, he will be four behind these two, still chatting. Jamie

:58:21. > :58:39.Donaldson, perfect tee shot at the 10th. He has left himself high

:58:40. > :58:43.right. Interesting watching the psychology of the two of them, so

:58:44. > :58:48.close on the practice ground, so close on the putting green. They are

:58:49. > :58:54.great friends, that fierce rivals today. You would never get Tiger

:58:55. > :59:08.doing that, or Nick Faldo. They would keep themselves to themselves.

:59:09. > :59:14.His first appearance, from Dallas, Texas, world ranking of 13. Texas

:59:15. > :59:24.has had more winners of the Masters, 12, Hogan, iron -- iron Nelson,

:59:25. > :59:48.Crenshaw. One of my favourites. From Thailand,

:59:49. > :00:06.at the 16th. Not far away from being viewed. -- being good. Very nice.

:00:07. > :00:23.Matt Kuchar now driving! 73, 71, 68. He went to college in

:00:24. > :00:29.Georgia, lives here. Might it be his day? He always seems to aim right

:00:30. > :00:43.with his feet and left with his shoulders.

:00:44. > :00:53.That is far enough back in the bunker. It is a deep bunker. He

:00:54. > :01:31.might have a chance. Jonas Blixt can give it a big old crack off the tee.

:01:32. > :01:38.I think that is an absolute snorter. Top of the hill, not much run, good

:01:39. > :02:02.drive. He has announced his debut. Hunter Mahan at the 12th. My first

:02:03. > :02:11.look at the 12th, having just gotten any proof, a very difficult hole

:02:12. > :02:19.location in the back right corner. He will probably go straight at it.

:02:20. > :02:35.He has! What a shot! As you were saying, very difficult. A whisker

:02:36. > :02:44.from A1. -- a one. The colourful Rickie Fowler. It is going in. What

:02:45. > :02:52.a lovely start. I am not too sure about the hat. I think it was made

:02:53. > :03:00.for giant haystacks or somebody. Here is Fred. A mammoth tee shot at

:03:01. > :03:06.the third. He still takes it out to the right, playing safe all the way.

:03:07. > :03:11.That is a clever decision, bailing out a little bit to the right. There

:03:12. > :03:19.is no more than 12 feet between the front of the green and the back.

:03:20. > :03:42.Donaldson at the 10th for birdie. This is so fast.

:03:43. > :04:01.Jose Maria Olazabal at the 13th. Not an easy shot. Did he make good

:04:02. > :04:21.contact? He did. A great shot. Fred Couples, after a pretty good

:04:22. > :04:31.bunker shot, unlucky he did not get closer, nice putt.

:04:32. > :04:37.Stadler, using one of the longest putters around. And it works very

:04:38. > :05:04.well indeed. Well, well. The Mechanic. A portly shall, not a

:05:05. > :05:17.very good second. A poorly hit putt as well. A tough start.

:05:18. > :05:35.Donaldson at the 11th. He pushed 30 way back in two the trees at the

:05:36. > :05:44.11th. -- the tee. That is a good drive. A dangerous hole, the 11th.

:05:45. > :05:54.It all depends on the line here for Kuchar.

:05:55. > :06:03.Maybe a few butterflies there. Watch for the pattern. He has missed two

:06:04. > :06:09.shots in a row to the right. Sometimes it is hard to release it

:06:10. > :06:16.when the pressure is on. Much of it is news. Adam Scott, getting away to

:06:17. > :06:21.a poor start again. Here is his shot in two the seventh green. That could

:06:22. > :06:29.be very nice if it keeps turning. Extraordinarily nice. It might go

:06:30. > :06:34.in. It ran out of steam. But that is a certain three. Big applause for

:06:35. > :06:57.the final period. -- pair. Absolutely perfectly shot for

:06:58. > :07:03.Blixt, just looking right at it, get! There is a little backstop

:07:04. > :07:08.behind the hole and it is well protected in front by a mound. That

:07:09. > :07:13.will go all the way of the green. He would have known before he hit that

:07:14. > :07:22.that he must carry and he just misjudged it. It was not 1 million

:07:23. > :07:25.miles away. Furyk, at the second, for a birdie.

:07:26. > :07:49.A very smooth putting style. Wouldn't this be nice? A wonderful

:07:50. > :08:01.second shot. This four and evil. Always too high. -- any legal.

:08:02. > :08:10.Westwood getting his final round underway. Here he is at the second.

:08:11. > :08:15.This for a birdie. I hope that is not going to be the familiar pattern

:08:16. > :08:25.of yet another day. Well struck putts just missing the hole.

:08:26. > :08:37.McIlroy played a terrified shot and he capitalises. You never know.

:08:38. > :08:44.Three in a row. A nice way to end the front nine. I always felt like

:08:45. > :08:48.there were only a few occasions when your heart could be so strongly that

:08:49. > :08:52.you could feel your pulse in your fingertips and Jordan Spieth is

:08:53. > :09:00.probably feeling that right now. Let's go over to Fred on the fourth.

:09:01. > :09:20.They have given the players a little bit more room. 245 yards. 243 today.

:09:21. > :09:46.Here is the scene around the first tee. Interesting the style of

:09:47. > :09:52.announcement. It is all very low-key. No microphone for the

:09:53. > :10:09.announcers. It is a very simplistic name. Listen to this.

:10:10. > :10:18.Jordan Spieth now driving! That is the announcement. Let's see

:10:19. > :10:39.how his nerves are. The first 45 minutes will be crucial.

:10:40. > :10:49.I saw him let go of the club several times yesterday towards the end of

:10:50. > :11:01.the round. He may be OK there. Bubba Watson now driving!

:11:02. > :11:07.Amazing style. Just watch the footwork. Fred Astaire he is not but

:11:08. > :11:32.it is interesting. That either pitched in the top of

:11:33. > :11:47.the bunker all over the top and bounding up the fairway. And so the

:11:48. > :11:49.final period stride away. -- pair. Here is a list of people who have

:11:50. > :11:57.won twice or more than twice. Ian Poulter at the fifth for a

:11:58. > :12:25.birdie. Parra is a good score at the fifth.

:12:26. > :12:31.Blixt ran back of the green. Not the best of chips. An awkward one

:12:32. > :12:40.though. Having hit a SuperDrive, he has got a 12 foot putt faux pas. --

:12:41. > :13:00.4-part. That is OK. That is what he was

:13:01. > :13:12.trying to do. Kuchar missed the green. Chipping

:13:13. > :13:14.back. He played it beautifully. That will calm him down a little bit if

:13:15. > :13:38.he needed calming down. The new style of golf shoe

:13:39. > :13:47.fascinates me. They are almost like carpet slippers now.

:13:48. > :13:57.Rickie Fowler forced to lay after his tee shot at the second. That is

:13:58. > :14:03.a little bit unlucky. That ball has been pitching forward ordinarily but

:14:04. > :14:06.that is a super shot. Blixt at the first. That will settle

:14:07. > :14:33.him. Only 17 more to go. Jamie Donaldson. A nice one. I think

:14:34. > :14:37.the new players here for the first time should be very pleased with

:14:38. > :14:42.their efforts. This is a big experience, coming here for the

:14:43. > :14:50.first time. A difficult putt for Justin Rose. He

:14:51. > :15:00.has not hit it. That is nothing more than about six feet.

:15:01. > :15:11.Freddie at the first of the short holes. He has got a nice touch.

:15:12. > :15:19.Don't underestimate Freddie. He has been able to win regularly on the

:15:20. > :15:26.Champions Tour. If you get used to winning, you can carry it in two

:15:27. > :15:39.these events. Thomas Bjorn gets to 3-under.

:15:40. > :15:51.Jordan, can you squeeze one this to the front of the green? I think he

:15:52. > :15:58.can. Just a nice little bump. Use the fairway.

:15:59. > :16:10.He has got a very lofted club. Bobby Jones says this course is supposed

:16:11. > :16:14.to be played along the ground. Modern golf dictates it is very

:16:15. > :16:18.seldom played along the ground now. That could be very nice if it just

:16:19. > :16:22.comes over the top and stays. Will it come back? It is just going to go

:16:23. > :16:40.too far. No, it is going to be OK. A good result. Some of the Texas

:16:41. > :16:44.heritage, being able to take a lofted club and hinted that no. That

:16:45. > :16:51.is how he grew up, playing in the winds of Texas.

:16:52. > :16:58.Now Bubba Watson playing a ball slightly above his feet. If it is

:16:59. > :17:07.below your feet, then heel catches. He may catch this cleanly.

:17:08. > :17:19.It seemed to be a good head. Yes, it was. I think he loved the fact the

:17:20. > :17:28.ball was above his feet. Well done. That will steady venues. Absolutely.

:17:29. > :17:42.Ian Poulter at the sixth, the second of the short holes. The flag back

:17:43. > :17:52.right. Steady. That has gone. Cruel, cruel, cruel.

:17:53. > :18:00.Rickie Fowler's birdie opportunity. Not a lot of movement here. He can

:18:01. > :18:09.be aggressive. That was a bit unlucky. A confident stroke. That

:18:10. > :18:24.would have been a nice birdie. McIlroy at the 10th. Very nice first

:18:25. > :18:38.nine holes. In 32 or 33, young man. That is scampering. Look at it go.

:18:39. > :18:51.Goodness. Now he has still got four feet left.

:18:52. > :19:05.Ian Poulter came back off the green to hear. Deciding to put it up the

:19:06. > :19:12.hill. -- putt. Very good. This will jangle your nerves. You

:19:13. > :19:13.are going to face those all day at Augusta National, especially on a

:19:14. > :19:19.Sunday. He has tickled it down. Turn, turn.

:19:20. > :19:49.No. He made it look easy. He played that

:19:50. > :19:53.quite beautifully. He did not rely on the slope behind the hole.

:19:54. > :20:08.Back to the first, the final pair. Jimenez tapped his putt in. Level

:20:09. > :20:36.par for this round so far today. A good line. It ran out of gas. That

:20:37. > :20:57.is not bad, considering where his tee shot ended up.

:20:58. > :21:08.Ian Poulter made that look easy. Another couple of yards off the

:21:09. > :21:16.tee, he might have had a ten foot putt for birdie. Indeed.

:21:17. > :21:29.Bubba has got this for a three. A fairly straight at -- putt.

:21:30. > :21:49.Sliding across. It was always edging away to the left.

:21:50. > :21:59.Well, this is where you do not want to be. Way over the green on the

:22:00. > :22:05.food. I don't know how he misjudged this so badly. Anything can happen

:22:06. > :22:08.here. Look at this shot! Are you kidding me? He will take that, trust

:22:09. > :22:33.me. Jamie Donaldson, 80 shot at the

:22:34. > :22:39.12th. -- a tee. That is OK. I think that will likely be the pattern.

:22:40. > :22:44.Taking it over the bunker. One of the unwritten rules is not to go for

:22:45. > :22:52.that hole location. Here is a teaser. Good strike.

:22:53. > :22:57.Unlucky! A good putt. It did not go in. He will be cross with himself.

:22:58. > :23:12.He drops a shot. A 3-wood off the tee and he has

:23:13. > :23:18.taken one hand off again. What a break. That is a huge break. That

:23:19. > :23:24.ball was heading towards no man's land. There is no stopping the ball

:23:25. > :23:30.once it hits the bank. It could have landed on the road and gone

:23:31. > :23:36.anywhere. There is a little bit of concern for him right now because he

:23:37. > :23:39.is letting go of a lot of shots. What will Bubba do here? Will he

:23:40. > :23:58.take on the bunker? That is nothing but a wedge out. And

:23:59. > :24:00.being left-handed, that could be awkward.

:24:01. > :24:53.Rory at the 10th. Blixt. He needs to be careful in

:24:54. > :25:00.there. If the ball rolls now, no matter what, he will have been

:25:01. > :25:05.deemed to have caused it to roll because he is messing about within a

:25:06. > :25:06.club length of the ball. He has taken a drop to that position. Maybe

:25:07. > :25:30.not. The handbag. The sandwiches. I think he is going to be OK. He

:25:31. > :25:36.actually has a chance to get this close. Everything will final to the

:25:37. > :25:44.right. If he can finish somewhere right centre of the green. It could

:25:45. > :25:49.come around nicely for him. Just hoping to get the distance right

:25:50. > :25:58.here. Watch his feet and see if he slips.

:25:59. > :26:34.Thomas Bjorn. This is for par. Hello.

:26:35. > :26:46.Well, well, well. You never know what is going to happen.

:26:47. > :26:59.Rory has this big putt across the 10th. Lightning fast. Easy. That

:27:00. > :27:07.will be an easy to putt for Rory, I feel. If he shoots four or 5-under,

:27:08. > :27:14.he can still win. Freddie going boldly. He is playing

:27:15. > :27:23.very nicely for a man played with a bad back for donkey's years. I am

:27:24. > :27:27.not buying all that bad Baxter. That is the best bad back I have ever

:27:28. > :27:39.seen. Justin Rose for par at the fourth.

:27:40. > :27:43.Confidently struck. Never in doubt. Kuchar. Is he going to use the

:27:44. > :28:18.slope? That could be very nice. That was close. Just a few inches

:28:19. > :28:26.too far away to be a gimme. Westwood. You have got to go either

:28:27. > :28:38.a little left or launch it straight up in the air. It is not enough.

:28:39. > :28:48.Spieth at the second. A lucky break to clatter in two the trees and come

:28:49. > :28:55.back onto the fairway. That is not too bad. It is the old saying, the

:28:56. > :29:04.shock that gets you in two trouble will usually get you out.

:29:05. > :29:17.The crowds on the green. Look how much break he is playing. Keep

:29:18. > :29:25.going. It is too high. A very good effort. That is OK.

:29:26. > :29:35.This time the ball below Bubba's feet. The fact that he hit a hole is

:29:36. > :29:47.helpful. Just trying to get it down the fairway. -- hook. It should be

:29:48. > :29:50.OK. Stadler for a birdie. Level par. It

:29:51. > :30:13.could be. It is! Those are the kind of birdie putts

:30:14. > :30:31.you like to have. Tied for the lead, I'm sorry, just one back, no,

:30:32. > :30:36.that got into five. The best man out there, Fred Couples, two under for

:30:37. > :30:40.his round. Trying to become the oldest winner of amen's Major.

:30:41. > :31:03.Freddie has stayed the course many times, has been here for 30 years.

:31:04. > :31:30.This one for a par. He is doing very, very nicely.

:31:31. > :31:54.Westwood, with the difficult second. We have not seen anybody get this

:31:55. > :32:05.close. Ian Poulter. At the 7th, well done. We are not sure whether that

:32:06. > :32:18.was a three or four. We will let you know. That is a well holed putt.

:32:19. > :32:35.That putt was indeed for a birdie three for Poulter. This is needing

:32:36. > :32:50.precision. As room, by the flag. -- he has.

:32:51. > :33:11.Ken Brown's return, warming up? It is, extremely interesting. A nervy

:33:12. > :33:53.start from the last pairing. It is off the right? Just a hint.

:33:54. > :34:00.Just listening in. Those are the numbers. You start to wonder how

:34:01. > :34:04.they feel, then you wonder how they are swinging. Should be a great

:34:05. > :34:14.number for Jordan. Really does pinch the ball, pretty

:34:15. > :34:41.good. Justin Rose. 455 yards at the 5th

:34:42. > :34:44.hole. That one will test him. The pin is that the narrowest part of

:34:45. > :34:58.the dream, he is OK, a good break, heading down. Now Westwood. The

:34:59. > :35:10.close, but no cigar award. Not that one, two beauties straight out that

:35:11. > :35:26.did not go in. Jamie Donaldson, the pine straw very skiddy under foot.

:35:27. > :35:34.Go on, be lucky. Terrific shot. Just clipping it off the top of the

:35:35. > :35:38.straw. I wish we had a heart rate monitor on somebody hitting that

:35:39. > :35:57.shot. I bet it goes up 25 beats per minute. Though D4 Westwood. That is

:35:58. > :36:02.the nemesis! -- bogey for Westwood. Double bogey, will lack in his dream

:36:03. > :36:12.of wearing the green jacket? We have seen some saw moments and

:36:13. > :36:16.some great moments. -- sore. It has produced some of the best moments on

:36:17. > :36:25.BBC Two. You can relive some of them soon.

:36:26. > :36:30.Sports on BBC Two, 15 not out. Both's Ashes, a moment of genuine

:36:31. > :36:38.glory. I remember the last ball. You wanted it not to finish. How can you

:36:39. > :36:45.get 18.5 million people to watch a game of snooker? Join me to

:36:46. > :36:52.celebrate 50 golden years of sport on BBC Two.

:36:53. > :36:59.Another documentary about one of the great prospects in British golf,

:37:00. > :37:13.Charlie hole, who almost nabbed the first women's Major of the year. A

:37:14. > :37:21.heroine the Solihull cluck Daly two cup -- a heroine in the Solihull

:37:22. > :37:31.cup. Rory McIlroy, at the 11th. Time to

:37:32. > :37:41.get brave for Rory. He knows he needs to post. That is really good.

:37:42. > :37:52.That is a beauty! Lots of scoring opportunities coming in, and Rory is

:37:53. > :38:01.about to post. Bubba. Just tiptoeing onto the green. Surely not? A

:38:02. > :38:07.brilliant effort, almost got snagged on the fringe, I thought it was not

:38:08. > :38:16.going to make it. He will wriggle out with a par at the 2nd. Furyk

:38:17. > :38:26.with a par at the difficult fourth. No.

:38:27. > :38:43.Spieth, this to take the outright lead. A sliding left to right,

:38:44. > :38:50.turning as it dies. What a putt! We have a new leader. 20-year-old

:38:51. > :39:02.Jordan Spieth, 6-under. Leading by one. Not fazed at all. He did not

:39:03. > :39:10.even have status, missing the second part of Tour school last year.

:39:11. > :39:18.Leading the Masters on the final day. Kuchar, you have to be careful

:39:19. > :39:22.here. That has gone long, tricky, really tricky down there. The wind

:39:23. > :39:42.will make that even more difficult. Freddie, on the six, difficult shot.

:39:43. > :39:51.Needed a fraction more. Starting to see some misjudgements because of

:39:52. > :39:56.the wind. Kuchar selecting to pitch this one.

:39:57. > :40:28.He has landed it. What a miracle! There are cries of Kuch! What a

:40:29. > :40:41.brilliant shot, he knows it. The most bunkers, this hole, shortest

:40:42. > :40:43.par four. I suppose the perfect spot is spinning your second shot up this

:40:44. > :40:54.right side. Thomas Bjorn now, only three back.

:40:55. > :41:26.Just a little more. This have to stumble on the green,

:41:27. > :41:32.as well. -- has to. Freddie, Freddie, what is it about Agusta

:41:33. > :41:41.that liked him up? Every year. We have heard some amazing roars

:41:42. > :41:51.through the pines today. Jonas Blixt. Deep breaker, lightning fast.

:41:52. > :42:00.Stay up! Man, that is total defence. The close-up of the grass,

:42:01. > :42:17.so tightly cut. Almost French polished. A nice tidy start. Some

:42:18. > :42:23.breeds helping here. -- breeze. Look at where he started that. Right over

:42:24. > :42:33.the pine trees, bringing it back in. The further right years, the

:42:34. > :42:38.better. Stay up. -- right he is. That is ideal, he could get this one

:42:39. > :42:50.within ten feet. Giving himself a chance. Rose. I saw his mum,

:42:51. > :43:07.Eileen, hoping Justin would put a good closing around in. Reid, --

:43:08. > :43:17.Rory. Look out much that one broke, not more than three feet, he played

:43:18. > :43:22.it about one foot outside the hole. The scoring opportunities begin, how

:43:23. > :43:29.brave will he be at the 12th? Trickling back down for a brave

:43:30. > :43:41.second, a straightforward putt. Up the hill. He pushed it a little bit.

:43:42. > :43:51.His first Masters, doing pretty well, some brilliant form in the

:43:52. > :44:01.last 18 months. This is this man's 100th round. Plus nine. You brought

:44:02. > :44:06.up a century of rounds today, reflect on that achievement? I was

:44:07. > :44:14.told that yesterday by the press, today would be my 100. No idea I had

:44:15. > :44:22.gone that far. Still a few more to go. Let's hope so. What is it like

:44:23. > :44:27.out there? How tough is it? Never easy, good conditions, nice and

:44:28. > :44:32.warm, the ball is going a long way. The greens are pretty smooth holding

:44:33. > :44:41.certain shots. A bit of wind, yesterday died down, today, ten mph.

:44:42. > :44:50.Players will be thinking about club selection. On the 12th, and 11.

:44:51. > :44:58.Thanks for chatting. Going to be green lights all the

:44:59. > :45:07.way, Rory going straight at it. This is where healthy aggression comes

:45:08. > :45:20.in. That is OK. Did not want to end his hopes on 12. Maybe played a bit

:45:21. > :45:30.say. -- safe. Have not had many pars on this fourth hole. The old

:45:31. > :45:40.man, well done. Two in ten are finding this green at four. A big,

:45:41. > :45:52.high cut would be ideal. Looking anxiously at that. Settle. OK.

:45:53. > :46:03.Passing right up the hill, should be straight. This is a nervy little

:46:04. > :46:16.shot. Elevation, 114 yards, far enough to spin it. As to make an

:46:17. > :46:28.intelligent decision. -- he has. If you just work it down, the down

:46:29. > :46:39.breeze will not help. It is only 18 feet from the back, perfect yardage.

:46:40. > :46:53.Such a dangerous shot. Oh, my goodness! What a state. -- stay.

:46:54. > :47:01.Pretty good shot. Ian Poulter, on the eighth, six behind, has two

:47:02. > :47:15.start ramming the birdie chances in. -- has to. That is not like him.

:47:16. > :47:26.Freddie Couples, at the 7th, we have seen a lot of balls get close today.

:47:27. > :47:37.That is to the right, maybe. Is it? Comeback. That will feed. Oh, that

:47:38. > :47:54.will be a fast one. These need all your attention. We

:47:55. > :48:05.have seen Westwood struggled on the greens. This will take a bit of

:48:06. > :48:11.magic. Well, you see how scared he was, never got the drive far enough

:48:12. > :48:15.left. Maybe, Ken, he should have laid up? He could have got closer,

:48:16. > :48:33.to make life easier. 16th, Thomas Bjorn, 180 yards. Using

:48:34. > :48:39.the bank on the right. That is OK, the crowd knows it. Westwood,

:48:40. > :48:44.something have to happen for him, pretty quickly. We have to make a

:48:45. > :48:47.long one. Coming off double bogey at the 4th, that is not going to make

:48:48. > :49:06.it. Oliver Goss, he will win the silver

:49:07. > :49:11.tray fee for low amateur. Naturalised Australian, well done to

:49:12. > :49:25.him, the only amateur to make the cut. OK, Rory. Will that reach? We

:49:26. > :49:41.have seen a lots of layers come up short on the 12th, right online.

:49:42. > :49:46.This have to be hit perfectly, Ken. A brilliant, brilliant effort. He

:49:47. > :50:09.has left himself a snorter of a putt. His club facing the crowd, the

:50:10. > :50:10.patrons. A little more laid off. Is it hard enough? Feeding all the way

:50:11. > :50:33.back down to the front. Justin Rose, the par. That is a nice

:50:34. > :50:46.effort from Justin Rose, you had to have that. Really had to have that

:50:47. > :50:55.one. Spieth, on the front of the third green. He has a little bit of

:50:56. > :51:07.chicken on the bone, left on that one.

:51:08. > :51:17.Blixt, second at the 4th, oh, boy. That is a good spot to leave it, he

:51:18. > :51:25.would have liked it closer, as you would. Pretty straight, up the hill.

:51:26. > :51:29.Here is one that you fear the most, you lose sleep over this one. Being

:51:30. > :51:46.bowled. Bold. Only 35 yards from the pin, taking

:51:47. > :52:01.him four to get there. Back to 4-under. Thomas Bjorn. Needs to

:52:02. > :52:17.clean up this little mess. Has that one of the par. Three shots off the

:52:18. > :52:28.pace. A reasonable leave from Kuchar, not running away. You wonder

:52:29. > :52:38.why they are leaving them so short, but the fear is getting past the

:52:39. > :52:45.hole. Jimenez, seven. Tough hole location. Really hard to get close

:52:46. > :52:52.to. That is about as well as we have seen anyone go. You see what

:52:53. > :53:07.happens, it just carries on. Another few inches, it is another 12-15

:53:08. > :53:24.yards. Well done. A triple four start. The fourth hole is playing

:53:25. > :53:30.283 yards. Freddie, for birdie. Surprises ball did not go down the

:53:31. > :53:35.hill. This is, maybe! Oh, my goodness! What a cruel result. That

:53:36. > :54:00.looked so good, for so long. Stay there surely it is not going

:54:01. > :54:16.to. This putt coming up will be a real knee knocker. Only one place to

:54:17. > :54:23.weigh in. That one is gone. -- only one place to aim.

:54:24. > :54:36.Making me nervous. Spieth, seeing this.

:54:37. > :54:57.This is his fourth putt. Four putt double bogey, wow. Now a 20-year-old

:54:58. > :55:12.with a two shot lead. Quite a big bluff. The model was the old course

:55:13. > :55:20.at St Andrews. These bluffs at the front of the green. Blixt, for par,

:55:21. > :55:32.he is really looking good on the greens. No three putts yet. Jimenez

:55:33. > :55:37.and him are the only players left without a three putt. Let's see what

:55:38. > :55:53.Spieth can do at the 4th. He has been right on the limit of

:55:54. > :56:09.the iron. We have seen a lots of balls in there. To miss it long is

:56:10. > :56:15.so penal, you cannot expect a par. The players feel is the best place

:56:16. > :56:22.to miss is short. Bubba likes to hit a big swinging draw. Room for him to

:56:23. > :56:29.hit it, and feed around, if he can pull it off. Just checking the

:56:30. > :56:38.flag. Checking where the wind is coming from. He is one of the few

:56:39. > :56:45.players who can carry high enough to land it softly on the green. To say

:56:46. > :57:02.it has to be pin is an underestimation. -- pinpoint.

:57:03. > :57:11.That is unbelievable, landing it on an area the size of a tee towel.

:57:12. > :57:21.Beautiful shot, high, perfect shape, coming down softly. Back up the hill

:57:22. > :57:40.he just came down. Westwood. Well played.

:57:41. > :57:44.A fairly generous driving area, a couple of bunkers down the left. He

:57:45. > :58:04.has gone right. Jimenez, at the 5th. Thought he had

:58:05. > :58:09.a good one, watching that ball in the air, ending up on the back of

:58:10. > :58:28.the green, he has left himself with a long one. He has putted well, but

:58:29. > :58:37.these ones test you. Westwood, very nice up and down. If you missed the

:58:38. > :58:50.right-hand corner, tricky to save your par.

:58:51. > :59:08.That's one deserved better. -- that one. Just skidded forward, a stroke

:59:09. > :59:12.going. Poulter, second shot at the 9th, ball below his feet. Tucked up

:59:13. > :59:24.against the bunkers, difficult angle. Just long. Ken Brown, I know

:59:25. > :59:34.you were down there at the night. -- ninth. Just wondering up, the pin is

:59:35. > :59:39.a different position. The ball below your feet. The wind swirling around.

:59:40. > :59:43.If you look at the putting macro study macro surface, you cannot

:59:44. > :59:59.afford to come short, on the left, in trouble. Anywhere in the left, a

:00:00. > :00:04.no-go area. The amber area, this area half a chance of getting down

:00:05. > :00:11.in macro, very tricky. The green area, unbelievable. Just a patch of

:00:12. > :00:17.green, pinpoint accurate. Anything short, cannot get back, a difficult

:00:18. > :00:26.two putt. You are aiming at next to nothing. Coming up short, well, a

:00:27. > :00:30.big bank. The pin is probably only three yards to the maximum. We saw

:00:31. > :00:41.Greg Norman coming up short on the final day. Going to roll a couple of

:00:42. > :00:47.balls down. Watch them go. They are gone. They just keep trickling. From

:00:48. > :00:52.there it is very difficult to get down in two. The only little area

:00:53. > :01:00.you can get the ball in his way these speakers are. This little

:01:01. > :01:05.platform. Get it right, you have got a birdie chance. Mrs anywhere else,

:01:06. > :01:18.it is either impossible to get down in two or very difficult. It is not

:01:19. > :01:26.much bigger than a bath towel. I would say it was impossible. That

:01:27. > :01:36.is lying well. This does not look all that difficult actually. It

:01:37. > :01:42.appears to be very hard. Maybe not. Maybe not at all. That is what wins

:01:43. > :01:48.and loses Championships, little miracle shots like that. A wonderful

:01:49. > :01:54.break of good fortune. Bubba's face remains impassive. They love it. He

:01:55. > :02:02.moves in two the lead but for how long?

:02:03. > :02:20.Now is the time we see whether his head matches his physical ability.

:02:21. > :02:23.What a shock this was. The rhythm was nice, the speed was good, the

:02:24. > :02:31.direction was not bad. It disappeared. What jubilation. Worth

:02:32. > :02:43.another look. He has got to get it onto the green. Magic. A bit of

:02:44. > :02:51.golfing magic. Now Bubba. Having played that sensational shot to

:02:52. > :03:11.hear, has this to match Spieth. Which he does. Well done.

:03:12. > :03:19.STUDIO: It is all change and just at that very old which caused problems

:03:20. > :03:24.yesterday. There was not a single birdie there yesterday. It has

:03:25. > :03:31.produced two magnificent ones there. Bubba had to hold his nerve having

:03:32. > :03:38.had to stand and watch Spieth put his name. It really is shaping up

:03:39. > :03:43.beautifully. This 20-year-old who is trying to become the youngest

:03:44. > :03:47.Masters champion in history. Ken Brown is going to be a very busy

:03:48. > :03:51.man. You will be keeping an eye on the golf but he will also be

:03:52. > :03:53.answering questions on our Facebook page so feel free to quiz him all

:03:54. > :04:06.you like. Fred Couples at the eighth. The

:04:07. > :04:13.green is hidden away over the top of the hill. Yes, sir.

:04:14. > :04:46.The heart races, breathing quickens. Jordan Spieth. 3-wood

:04:47. > :04:50.year. -- here. That is the perfect look to go in the bunker but that is

:04:51. > :04:56.a bad miss. One place you want to avoid is in the sand. It did not

:04:57. > :05:14.hurt him on the last hole. Fair point. Bubba. Watch him crack this

:05:15. > :05:25.off the top of the egg. -- peg. Hello! That could be down Washington

:05:26. > :05:34.Road. No, it is all right. That was operating at a low level all the

:05:35. > :05:38.way, that drive. I wonder if Rory can put in a

:05:39. > :05:48.steering finish yet. Now in the water. How many have we seen down in

:05:49. > :05:55.there? Curtis Strange back in 1985 when he drew with Bernard Langer. He

:05:56. > :05:56.knows that is the end of things. But for another youngster, a different

:05:57. > :06:33.story. He has won before. Back to the old timer. We have seen

:06:34. > :06:44.a number of balls, short and go back down the green. Not him, though. It

:06:45. > :06:46.is a good shot. Thomas Bjorn, this for a birdie on

:06:47. > :06:57.the seventh. Low. Still far from out of it but those

:06:58. > :07:11.chances have got to be taken. Still just a couple behind second

:07:12. > :07:18.placed but for adrift of Jordan Spieth. Four shots around August

:07:19. > :07:24.though is not a lot. They can go in the blink of an eye.

:07:25. > :07:29.I wonder where he is aiming. Bottom left.

:07:30. > :07:55.Kuchar of the fifth. Back she comes. Beautifully judged. Beautifully

:07:56. > :08:13.read. And executed. Couples at the eighth. On in two,

:08:14. > :08:22.this big par five at the hill. Has he hit it? Nowhere near. Nowhere

:08:23. > :08:27.near, Freddie. A drop for Michael Roig. This is his

:08:28. > :08:47.fourth shot. -- McIlroy. He is going beyond the flag and then

:08:48. > :08:52.we'll come back. The challenge disappearing. It was a long shot

:08:53. > :08:56.best. Back to the fifth. Blixt. Running,

:08:57. > :09:11.running, running. Of all the players, he has looked

:09:12. > :09:16.most solid. It has been spectacular stuff from other players but he is

:09:17. > :09:23.moving along quietly. This for Couples. Disappointing. And

:09:24. > :09:48.he can sit in. Well done, Freddie. There will not be that many golf

:09:49. > :09:58.clubs celebrating their centenary is in the next three or four years

:09:59. > :10:06.because of the First World War. McIlroy with a putt that simply has

:10:07. > :10:10.to drop. Not the last to pay the price chasing a score on the par

:10:11. > :10:20.fives at Augusta but Michael Roig gone now. -- McIlroy.

:10:21. > :10:24.Where is that going to end, in the back bunker? Yes. That must have

:10:25. > :10:31.settled in a little depression. From the other side of the fairway,

:10:32. > :10:48.Bubba Watson. Trying to get it and then to run

:10:49. > :11:15.back. Off she goes. It is going to miss on the left but

:11:16. > :11:21.it is very good. Again, the imagination you need around here. I

:11:22. > :11:26.am not sure Mr Jones would approve but that is another story. Bobby

:11:27. > :11:31.Jones never played golf like this, in conditions like this, on courses

:11:32. > :11:37.like this. Bubba.

:11:38. > :11:54.Steady. Bunker. Lucky boy. Lucky he is left-handed on this occasion.

:11:55. > :12:02.One thing I would say about Jordan Spieth, a couple of birdies, but

:12:03. > :12:08.they have come when he has got out of things. He is not quite as steady

:12:09. > :12:10.as his scorecard suggests. A 7-iron for Jonas Blixt. I think it

:12:11. > :12:24.has gone left. It is a monster putt at a very steep

:12:25. > :12:30.slope and the flag just at the top so the judgement of pace is going to

:12:31. > :12:35.be slipped -- tricky. Donaldson for an eagle. He usually

:12:36. > :12:59.putts quite beautifully. Kuchar's turn on the sixth. There is

:13:00. > :13:13.that very flat swing. All sorts of approving noises. Very well done.

:13:14. > :13:23.Happy chap. Jose Maria Olazabal, the last

:13:24. > :13:29.European to win this splendid event. He has had a few birdies today. A

:13:30. > :13:35.few miscues as well. But back in the old routine. Very well done. 73.

:13:36. > :13:43.That is good playing, playing with Vijay Singh.

:13:44. > :13:50.Jamie Donaldson in for his birdie, back to level par. A man who missed

:13:51. > :13:51.the cut on his debut last year but heading for greater things this

:13:52. > :14:10.year. No, it was not a birdie. Let's see if Westwood can get his on

:14:11. > :14:16.the seventh. The number of times he has been short with his second shots

:14:17. > :14:22.today. He was short on the seventh. Can he do it again? Not 1 million

:14:23. > :14:38.miles away from the hole but that might come back. Will it?

:14:39. > :14:45.That was a couple of feet away from looking like a double bogey. He has

:14:46. > :14:54.made a couple of birdies but it has been a lively few holes. There is a

:14:55. > :14:59.long way to go yet. Much can happen. We were seeing how Bubba was

:15:00. > :15:03.fortunate being a left-handed player on this one, but if he was standing

:15:04. > :15:11.on the other side of the ball, it would be very awkward. He is going

:15:12. > :15:24.to land it upon the slope. On the edge of the fairway somewhere.

:15:25. > :15:43.Donaldson. A hole in one last year, I think.

:15:44. > :15:48.It is going to be good but not quite far enough. A lovely tee shot

:15:49. > :16:03.though, from the Welshman. Blixt. A long putt. And she goes.

:16:04. > :16:09.No, it is not enough, but it is not a bad effort from down there.

:16:10. > :16:22.Spieth. Settle down. It is a bogey at least. He is a very demonstrative

:16:23. > :16:28.young chap. He talks to the ball, talks to himself. It is going to be

:16:29. > :16:35.his first bogey of the day. Perhaps worse than that.

:16:36. > :17:01.Very easy to become frightened on these greens. It is a long time

:17:02. > :17:04.since I put it on them but you can feel for them once you start losing

:17:05. > :17:35.your nerve. It is horrendous. Spieth by two.

:17:36. > :17:38.Couples never had a glove. One sad when ruined in the rain as a

:17:39. > :17:44.youngster. He has not used one since. Saves a lot of money if you

:17:45. > :17:48.can do it. Not that they pay for them. Is it going to do what Ken

:17:49. > :18:12.said it would? Just in. The first dropped shot. He

:18:13. > :18:18.comes back in two the pack a little bit. He has had a magical bunker

:18:19. > :18:23.shot so I don't think he has got anything to complain about.

:18:24. > :18:30.Thomas Bjorn at the eighth, third shot.

:18:31. > :18:57.Donaldson, his putt for a two on the 16th.

:18:58. > :19:12.It was a birdie on the 15th, I think. I am getting confused

:19:13. > :19:20.messages. This is some shot. He has got the

:19:21. > :19:24.face of the club wide-open. This is a Mickelson special or Tiger Woods

:19:25. > :19:32.special. There she goes. A great result. What a bold shot. Eight

:19:33. > :19:40.horrific effort. -- a terrific effort.

:19:41. > :19:43.STUDIO: We have seen some very special things from Justin Rose over

:19:44. > :19:50.the last few days. You have got Justin Rose, McIlroy, Donaldson. But

:19:51. > :19:55.at the sharp end, Jordan Spieth coming back a bit. In trouble on the

:19:56. > :20:01.fifth. Matt Kuchar is still there and Jonas Blixt is not going away.

:20:02. > :20:11.And here is confirmation of the British challenge. Back we go to the

:20:12. > :20:19.2012 champion. It is Bubba. On the sixth.

:20:20. > :20:32.He likes it, you know. And why not? That is a little bit unlucky but it

:20:33. > :20:38.could have so easily moved down and gone within two or three feet of the

:20:39. > :20:43.hole. So much of it is good fortune or luck. One of the only straight,

:20:44. > :20:52.straight holes at Augusta. Jonas Blixt.

:20:53. > :20:59.In the lap of the tree gods. I think it might have nestled behind a

:21:00. > :21:01.truck. Spieth needs to settle down, a

:21:02. > :21:35.couple of deep breaths. What a question to ask your caddy.

:21:36. > :21:38.Is it hurting? Meaning, is it against me? He hopes he gets it

:21:39. > :22:30.right. He has not hit that either. Everyone

:22:31. > :22:32.has been short on this coming up the green, pitching and hurting from

:22:33. > :22:55.that side. -- putting. Justin has this nine footer for a

:22:56. > :23:33.birdie. He needs a little bit of

:23:34. > :23:45.inspiration, there's Justin. -- does Justin.

:23:46. > :24:17.To a brightly coloured one, Rickie Fowler. A different way of doing

:24:18. > :24:20.things. We saw Westwood coming up to the back of the green and rolling

:24:21. > :24:27.back down. Fowler slightly more conventional.

:24:28. > :24:35.Ninth hole for Couples. Not a frightening putt from this side.

:24:36. > :24:45.A good effort, Fred. That is all right.

:24:46. > :25:08.Two very impressive tee shot on the sixth. Jordan Spieth the better.

:25:09. > :25:14.They both got you on the fourth and it would be interesting if they both

:25:15. > :25:18.got too on this one. It is not quite Match Play but they are helping each

:25:19. > :25:24.other out more than anything. It is on the way. I love watching the

:25:25. > :25:32.faces of the crowd. They all have their own thoughts.

:25:33. > :26:45.There is a touch of the Cabrera in that. They acknowledge each other.

:26:46. > :26:56.That is rather nice. Ian Poulter in the trees on the

:26:57. > :27:04.11th. Is this his second, I wonder? Down the hill. That could be all

:27:05. > :27:13.right. Steady, steady. It wouldn't! It has. So nearly a brilliant

:27:14. > :27:18.effort. Nine more holes to go. That is the

:27:19. > :27:25.state of it now. Jordan Spieth ahead by one. But all those down to Furyk

:27:26. > :27:30.or even Jimmy Walker with a chance. The two par fives on the inward

:27:31. > :27:35.nine. We have seen people get a couple of eagles there. All sorts of

:27:36. > :27:43.things can happen. The Open Championship is coming up soon.

:27:44. > :27:56.Lee Trevino to win the Open. Arnold Palmer in the middle.

:27:57. > :28:08.The Irish! Greg Norman, the champion for 1986.

:28:09. > :28:17.He has got its! Those cold black eyes. A birdie.

:28:18. > :28:27.Jack Nicklaus once again. Would you believe that?

:28:28. > :29:02.Ian Poulter's fourth shot after finding the drink. Such a busy

:29:03. > :29:14.corner, that corner of water on the 11th. It has seen some action.

:29:15. > :29:30.Jason Day. A wonderful second in two the 13th. -- in two.

:29:31. > :29:36.Bubba, like the 18th, he does not like this tee shot. He tries to move

:29:37. > :29:42.it around. Not too bad there but this one is

:29:43. > :30:03.dead straight, this hole. Kuchar. His third shot at the

:30:04. > :30:18.seventh. Steady, steady. Will it come back of this low? It could do.

:30:19. > :30:40.Jonas Blixt. Just a little bit too far, will feed back down. The

:30:41. > :30:52.seventh is a table top green. For pars for Blixt. -- all. Spieth, at

:30:53. > :31:04.the 7th, this is moving to the right. It is going to be OK.

:31:05. > :31:20.We will see Blixt on the green, trying to save his par. His first

:31:21. > :31:32.blemish, the Swede will slip back, four adrift.

:31:33. > :31:37.The seventh hole, they have lengthened it over the years, I

:31:38. > :31:45.don't feel it has been improved, much more difficult. It used to be a

:31:46. > :31:50.two iron, the dream has not been altered that much. Some of the

:31:51. > :32:09.players trying to hit it with a medium to long iron. As Kuchar lines

:32:10. > :32:16.it up, Ken is back. Thank you. Nicely done, Matt Kuchar, good

:32:17. > :32:32.up-and-down. Three behind. Cries of Kuch! Interesting, there is 90 yards

:32:33. > :32:42.between the longest and second longest hole. McIlroy, the ugly scar

:32:43. > :32:50.over six on the 13th. Another birdie, number five today. Just a

:32:51. > :33:02.little bit too late. Just fine in the creek on 13. -- of a six. This

:33:03. > :33:17.one will take the touch of a pickpocket. Not bad. I'm not sure

:33:18. > :33:30.how his second shot finished there. Poulter, on 11, this for a bogey.

:33:31. > :33:38.Well holed, he knew it was a touch too far left.

:33:39. > :33:49.The 16th, Bernhard Langer, still as competitive as ever. Has tried so

:33:50. > :33:59.many ways of getting the ball into the cup, he won his first Masters

:34:00. > :34:16.with a putted that originally belonged to me! -- with a putter.

:34:17. > :34:27.Down in that very well used bunker. Baffled by the breeze. Just look at

:34:28. > :34:31.the body language, that two has settled him. Looked very intense

:34:32. > :34:49.earlier on. A little uphill this one. You can

:34:50. > :35:09.use the slope, beyond the flag. It is a little right, he brought it

:35:10. > :35:20.back beautifully, right over the flag. Does not want to find a pitch

:35:21. > :35:31.mark, lovely iron shot, right over the flag. Thomas Bjorn, after that

:35:32. > :35:41.nasty, nasty first putt. That is for a bogey. A bit of trouble before the

:35:42. > :35:47.green. They shot goes for Bjorn. -- a shot.

:35:48. > :35:56.He's just trying to chop one end, Ian Poulter. A funny bounce,

:35:57. > :36:06.bouncing against the spin. 153 yards, the 12th. Jason Day, his

:36:07. > :36:13.first round, 75, a bit of rust after his thumb injury. Ruling him out of

:36:14. > :36:40.contention. This would moving back to level par. Move it. Kuchar at the

:36:41. > :36:45.par five, not the longest hitters. A big hit reaches the green into macro

:36:46. > :36:50.from there. Let's look at this hole, the lonely bunker on the right

:36:51. > :36:58.hand side. A big stretch of Fairway uncovered. Bubba may take it out of

:36:59. > :37:07.play with a big hit. Over 200 yards. Completely unsighted to the green. A

:37:08. > :37:15.little mound, into a valley. McIlroy, the second shot into 15.

:37:16. > :37:25.Looks like he is laying up, maybe not. That is a huge tee shot. A

:37:26. > :37:35.fairly sizeable second. He got a flyer, the car much green he have to

:37:36. > :37:46.work with. -- look how much. You can see some juicy grass cuttings on his

:37:47. > :37:54.face. Where is Bubba going? I can't believe it came out that softly.

:37:55. > :38:00.Unbelievable. No! How he got it to come out that softly... A stellar

:38:01. > :38:15.shot. Stunning, in fact. The wonderful shot. An American

:38:16. > :38:34.dominated leaderboard, Spieth, Watson, Kuchar, couples. -- Couples.

:38:35. > :38:48.Freddie, Freddie. On it goes. 15 of the top 25 are American. What can

:38:49. > :39:05.Rory du? -- do? That is a better miss than the other one going into

:39:06. > :39:29.the water. This green is sitting around trees. Not drying out as

:39:30. > :39:47.quickly as number 12. The par five not being kind to him. He would not

:39:48. > :40:05.have expected that. This is straight downhill. Like putting down a marble

:40:06. > :40:13.staircase. Another gem! He is nerveless. Taking such a wonderful

:40:14. > :40:29.touch, just to send it rolling like that. Look at that. 8-under. Leading

:40:30. > :40:33.by a couple. The final round of the Masters, you are in the final group,

:40:34. > :40:46.making four birdies in the first seven holes. The last two holes,

:40:47. > :41:00.Felix resettled. -- he looks very settled. Beginning to feel like

:41:01. > :41:10.these two R Julian with each other. -- are duelling. We have seen some

:41:11. > :41:23.stunning goal, you par five to come, you know that Bubba can reach

:41:24. > :41:41.it into macro. A bogey four McIlroy. -- a bogey for matter way.

:41:42. > :41:53.Put together someone the full golf, but struggling on the par five. --

:41:54. > :42:02.some wonderful golf. Kuchar, the ball sitting on a 45 degrees angle,

:42:03. > :42:13.trying to move it in. Right in the throat of the dream, that is pretty

:42:14. > :42:22.good. Rory, a bit hot under the collar, knows he has had a chance,

:42:23. > :42:33.13 and 15 painful. I think it kind of likes it. Write down the throat.

:42:34. > :42:46.-- right. Rory's time will come their, -- here, he has too much

:42:47. > :43:10.game, too much quality. Hoping this one breaks. The right weight. Now it

:43:11. > :43:23.is Sandy Lyle's putt. Lovely touch. We first saw this man at the Walker

:43:24. > :43:40.Cup. Undefeated. Going with a 3-wood, Sony doesn't reach the

:43:41. > :43:46.right-hand bunker. -- so he doesn't. Jack Nicklaus said he is the best

:43:47. > :43:55.young talent since Tiger Woods, bearing in mind what Rory has done.

:43:56. > :44:13.He will enjoy this one. Watch the foot action. Beautiful. He has

:44:14. > :44:18.absolutely mullered that. Oh, my, goodness gracious, 350 yards to

:44:19. > :44:40.clear the bunker, he is still rolling. Mullered is the only way to

:44:41. > :44:58.describe that. That is another birdie format array. -- another

:44:59. > :45:04.birdie four Roy. -- another birdie for McIlroy.

:45:05. > :45:22.Well done, good up-and-down. A round of 76 doing the damage yesterday.

:45:23. > :45:32.We have seen some fantastic shots from Spieth. Such a long time to

:45:33. > :45:51.choose the club, pinpoint accurate. Magic. The second shot into the

:45:52. > :45:54.seventh, leaving him this. Full. -- that was dead weight, deadline,

:45:55. > :46:03.looking like a young master in waiting.

:46:04. > :46:10.It is all very friendly, you can bet that the intensity will notch it up

:46:11. > :46:16.as we reach the important back nine. It is Spieth, by two. There is

:46:17. > :46:22.Donaldson, offered special temporary membership of the PGA Tour. Let's

:46:23. > :46:25.hear from the Welshman. Jamie Donaldson, missing the cut last

:46:26. > :46:37.year, much better. You can feel proud? A decent week. Not really

:46:38. > :46:39.played fantastic, from the start. Scoring great the first couple of

:46:40. > :46:45.rounds, a bit slow yesterday, disappointing. So difficult around

:46:46. > :46:52.here, hit quite a few good early shots, did not get anything. A few

:46:53. > :46:56.tough up and downs. Played well today, the best of the week. Happy

:46:57. > :47:05.with the way I played. Hopefully better next year? Thank you.

:47:06. > :47:23.He has been some fantastic form, Jamie Donaldson. -- in some.

:47:24. > :47:29.The corner of Amen Corner. Wondering if this is becoming a two horse

:47:30. > :47:37.race. You have all the fun, the danger of the back nine. Spieth and

:47:38. > :47:39.Watson looking very impressive. Settling into it in the last couple

:47:40. > :47:59.of holes. Send us your thoughts. Ken Brown, have you been on

:48:00. > :48:08.Facebook? Only just getting used to the gas! Here is Bubba's tee shot.

:48:09. > :48:23.He can chase this one with the breeze. Look at the decent distance

:48:24. > :48:31.between their drives. He may be able to chase this one onto the green.

:48:32. > :48:46.You can see the top of the TV tower. That is the green. Over to Jonas

:48:47. > :48:53.Blixt. Just behind the green. I am not sure there could be a better

:48:54. > :49:00.partner for Jordan Spieth and Bubba Watson. Bubba not likely to

:49:01. > :49:20.intimidating, too much of a cuddly character. Amazing clubhead speed.

:49:21. > :49:44.Kuchar, on the eighth, we have seen a lot of players come up short. And

:49:45. > :49:46.add another to the list. Jordan Spieth is waiting, suggesting he

:49:47. > :49:59.thinks he can scare the green with his second shot.

:50:00. > :50:22.Four under two Kuchar, 8-under for Spieth. -- to Kuchar. In the water.

:50:23. > :50:40.That is a dark and terrible place. That is a water hazard. I know there

:50:41. > :50:54.is a Boom Drop. -- ball drop. We saw Justin Rose rattle it in for his

:50:55. > :50:58.birdie. Very well done. First birdie of the day. Straight back after that

:50:59. > :51:06.dropped shot. The leading non-American, doing very well. There

:51:07. > :51:17.is a look at the green. A crumpled duvet. Back to our leader. If he

:51:18. > :51:27.gets this flying high with a better draw, he may be able to reach. The

:51:28. > :51:50.wind is helping. Just aiming a little right. Settle down. A little

:51:51. > :52:02.bit of room, waiting out of courtesy. Trying to turn it over.

:52:03. > :52:17.Bubba, a middle iron. 232 yards, he has some spin. Unlucky, Bubba. Just

:52:18. > :52:27.hitting it up to the green commerce winning -- up to the green, spinning

:52:28. > :52:38.away. 45 under on the par five holes. A nice shot from Lee

:52:39. > :52:40.Westwood. Miraculous things have happened on the back nine at the

:52:41. > :53:03.Masters. Jimmy Walker, twice a winner this

:53:04. > :53:15.year on the PGA Tour. Has had three birdies on the last four holes. 35,

:53:16. > :53:31.his first Masters, hanging MNA sons. -- having a renaissance. Just over

:53:32. > :53:43.the bunker. The wind is picking up. Things are hotting up.

:53:44. > :54:24.He is in the trees, the pine straw. Oh! A flicker of life, then it went.

:54:25. > :54:36.Oh, hello! He is fine! Does not know it! This will test you out. Gone a

:54:37. > :54:58.little too far. Nice judgement of pace. How is the lie? Ricky! Ricky!

:54:59. > :55:12.Fantastic. That is just for a par, still a great putt. He would do it

:55:13. > :55:22.again, whatever it is for. Birdie at the 1st, bogey at the 2nd, all the

:55:23. > :55:37.rest, par. Some, quite Matic. -- quite dramatic. Jonas Blixt, like

:55:38. > :55:43.this one. That is nice. -- likes. You want to get the shortest

:55:44. > :55:57.possible iron to the flag. Watch this win, a tall man, very flat. --

:55:58. > :56:06.this swing. Quite low. It all adds up, a big

:56:07. > :56:36.hook into the trees. Freddie, taking a drop. We said there was a bit of

:56:37. > :56:44.green tee play with. -- to play with. It just slides underneath.

:56:45. > :56:53.Going quite low. I don't think he can believe it. That stopped right,

:56:54. > :57:10.at the crest of the hill. 17, McIlroy. If you want to watch Rory

:57:11. > :57:24.McIlroy, and Jimmy Walker, you can watch it on our special feed.

:57:25. > :57:30.Online. It is worth seeing again, a fantastic effort. May not catch the

:57:31. > :57:40.slope, you look like a fool. Perfectly judged. The ball never

:57:41. > :57:59.leaving the surface, you can hear the crowd. Very popular, Rickie

:58:00. > :58:12.Fowler. These rules, Jordan Spieth will hear them all, all part of the

:58:13. > :58:24.Masters. -- roar. Just looking at the computer, remarkable rate has

:58:25. > :58:25.been levelled par -- Rory McIlroy has been levelled par for the week

:58:26. > :59:07.on the par fives. Quite remarkable. Before we go to Spieth, let's go to

:59:08. > :59:18.Jimmy. That is not to be. Spieth, Kuchar, Blixt, Fowler. This is not

:59:19. > :59:31.easy. He's going down the slope, quite slippery. It would not scare

:59:32. > :59:43.you. It needs a bit of touch. Can he get it to the hole? I wonder what it

:59:44. > :59:45.is that is fooling them? You are on a high spot, the grass looks a bit

:59:46. > :00:18.shy. Fingers crossed. Peter Alliss is just putting on his

:00:19. > :00:25.headphones and getting his trigger finger ready. It is getting more

:00:26. > :00:38.exciting. That is what we expect. Touching one down the hill.

:00:39. > :00:48.What do you make of it all, Paul? So far, nerves of steel. Jordan Spieth

:00:49. > :00:55.shocked that his third did not get closer. Everybody has left this putt

:00:56. > :01:03.short. Bubba is sitting well for a birdie. It is very situational now.

:01:04. > :01:12.It is almost match played in their mind. They could be level in a

:01:13. > :01:20.minute. That is his first three putt of the tournament. I don't think

:01:21. > :01:26.that is a sign of nerves, it is more a bad break and a misjudgement.

:01:27. > :01:32.Everybody has left that putt short. It is a nasty one. Now Bubba has an

:01:33. > :01:37.opportunity to tie for the lead.
