:00:44. > :01:09.That is the way champions do it. Look at that!
:01:10. > :01:23.A life changer. It has been sunshine and blue skies
:01:24. > :01:27.all the way in the first two days of the 70s Masters at Augusta National.
:01:28. > :01:34.It is every golfer's ambition to be in Georgia on the most famous golf
:01:35. > :01:40.course in the world. But heading into the weekend in the first men's
:01:41. > :01:45.major of the year, not everyone has enjoyed a walk around this fabulous
:01:46. > :01:49.place. The Masters, a place of custom and
:01:50. > :01:56.habit but this time and place of change. We looked for something
:01:57. > :02:01.familiar and the champions of the last two years delivered. Adam
:02:02. > :02:05.Scott, Bubba Watson, two of only four men to break 70. And leading, a
:02:06. > :02:14.man from a golfing dynasty, Bill Haas. Michael Roy is well placed,
:02:15. > :02:19.under-par and in the hunt. Day two, and the theme of change continued.
:02:20. > :02:30.20 years since neither a Tiger roar Dore Mickelson smile graced the
:02:31. > :02:34.weekend but Phil would go. Then there was Rory McIlroy, surely to
:02:35. > :02:38.wear a Green Jacket one day, but once again exploring the shadows of
:02:39. > :02:44.this beautiful estate. In the end he survived only by a whisker to golf
:02:45. > :02:49.another day. With the UK challenge? Stephen Gallacher has long waited to
:02:50. > :02:53.play here. Jamie Donaldson the same. Lee Westwood still trying and still
:02:54. > :02:57.in touch. Yet it was the man who brings his own flash of vivid pink
:02:58. > :03:03.setting the pace. Some sportsmen beach and Neville to be known by
:03:04. > :03:08.just one name. Tiger may not be here but who can catch the man called
:03:09. > :03:13.Bubba Watson? That is the question. Andrew Cotter
:03:14. > :03:19.looking back but this is the scene right now. This is the situation in
:03:20. > :03:24.the third round of the Masters. Bubba Watson has never led during
:03:25. > :03:29.any of the opening three rounds. But he has surged to the front by three
:03:30. > :03:36.shots at the halfway point. A thrilling round from him yesterday.
:03:37. > :03:42.John Senden in outcrop second place but Miguel Angel Jimenez surging up
:03:43. > :03:49.the leaderboard. Another excellent round being putt together by Gary
:03:50. > :03:56.Woodland. He was at 1.7 under. Ian Poulter also going well. And Lee
:03:57. > :04:02.Westwood, just as he was on the opening day, 1-under par. These are
:04:03. > :04:08.some of the men challenging for the Europeans. We will see more of them
:04:09. > :04:17.a little bit later on. Further down, Jason Day, who was much fancied.
:04:18. > :04:25.Rory McIlroy, 71. He birdied the last couple. That is how it looks
:04:26. > :04:27.and this is the scene. The players completing their preparations on the
:04:28. > :04:32.range before the last couple of groups go out. But the list of men
:04:33. > :04:38.who are not here for the weekend reads like a superb leaderboard at
:04:39. > :04:43.any other time. Nine recent major champions all missing the cut. Phil
:04:44. > :04:48.Mickelson, who misses out on the weekend here for the first time in
:04:49. > :04:54.17 years. Schwartzel, Zach Johnson, Cabrera. Some of the names you might
:04:55. > :04:58.have expected to be challenging for the jacket tomorrow night. Instead
:04:59. > :05:04.they are going to have to watch it, along with all of us. At least we
:05:05. > :05:08.have something to look forward to as we do every single year in Georgia.
:05:09. > :05:14.Temperatures are soaring, we are into the 80s. Hardly a powerful
:05:15. > :05:19.wind. Otherwise perfect. Our American hosts don't begin for
:05:20. > :05:23.coverage for another half an hour but there is live coverage now on
:05:24. > :05:29.our digital streams as Rishi Persad explains.
:05:30. > :05:33.As the tournament reaches its climax this weekend we will have seven live
:05:34. > :05:38.video streams available for your mobile, tablet, desktop and TV. Get
:05:39. > :05:43.closer to the world's best on the practice range, see the players who
:05:44. > :05:50.Amen Corner, follow the players ball by ball or capture as they get to 16
:05:51. > :05:56.and 17. It is the US Masters as you have never experienced it before.
:05:57. > :06:01.These are the offerings right now. You can make your own viewing habits
:06:02. > :06:05.this evening should you so choose. That is Amen Corner in the centre of
:06:06. > :06:11.your screen. We will be building up to the start of live coverage at
:06:12. > :06:18.around 8pm. There has been plenty on the go over the last few hours. The
:06:19. > :06:21.first tee time was at about 2:45pm your time. Let's give you a flavour
:06:22. > :06:23.of what these men have been achieving on the course. It has been
:06:24. > :06:35.hard going again. This is Rory McIlroy. A birdie
:06:36. > :06:40.finish from him and a round of 71. He will not be winning this year but
:06:41. > :06:45.it is great to see him here. I mention Gary Woodland earlier and he
:06:46. > :06:50.was out in 30. Only the fifth man in Masters history to do so. He began
:06:51. > :06:59.with an eagle at the second and this was his approach to the knife. Yet
:07:00. > :07:04.another birdie. But he has certainly given is a lot to watch and a lot to
:07:05. > :07:13.enjoy. As has this man, Miguel Angel Jimenez. What a back nine from him.
:07:14. > :07:26.Five birdies. But this but took him 6-under for his round. He now has
:07:27. > :07:34.three top tens. It is great to see Paul Azinger and Peter Alliss.
:07:35. > :07:41.It is great to see you both and great to talk about what has been an
:07:42. > :07:46.intriguing Masters so far. How would you characterise the first couple of
:07:47. > :07:51.days? Very interesting. The weather has been superb. The other people
:07:52. > :07:57.seem to be talking about something different to me. The first day I
:07:58. > :08:02.thought was magnificent until about 3pm in the afternoon and then there
:08:03. > :08:10.was some movement in the trees. The course is difficult. I am not sure
:08:11. > :08:14.whether Bobby Jones would be really pleased with the way things have
:08:15. > :08:18.gone. It is magnificent but I am not sure he would have liked the course
:08:19. > :08:22.to be quite so long and quite so difficult. His idea was to bring
:08:23. > :08:27.people together under the flag of friendship to enjoy good competition
:08:28. > :08:36.in a lovely place at a fine time of year and it was not meant to be a
:08:37. > :08:40.jail sentence and it has become that in many ways. I am not sure how many
:08:41. > :08:47.of them go out there enjoying trying to get around and having to putt ten
:08:48. > :08:53.yards. It is magical but it is very difficult. It is like telling
:08:54. > :08:57.jockeys they have got to carry another 14 pounds on the horse all
:08:58. > :09:07.we are going to cover Formula one racetracks with speed bumps. The big
:09:08. > :09:13.killing part of the parts we will at some love. I know it is a different
:09:14. > :09:18.brand of golf we see every year but 68 has been the best score over the
:09:19. > :09:25.best couple of days. That is rather rare. How do you explain that? I
:09:26. > :09:29.think it is pretty simple. The Masters committee has putt the holes
:09:30. > :09:33.in really difficult spots. It has been hard to get to these targets.
:09:34. > :09:40.The Greens are not responding that well. They respond reasonably well
:09:41. > :09:44.to short pitches. But they are hard as a rock and the ball finals away a
:09:45. > :09:51.lot. There was a stretch yesterday on the back nine, I felt they were
:09:52. > :09:55.only two holes on the front nine that you could birdie and they were
:09:56. > :10:04.both the par fives. Everything else you play on defence, starting at 12,
:10:05. > :10:09.13, 15, 16, 17, 18. Those were the holes you could make the birdies.
:10:10. > :10:15.You need a healthy aggression to play well here. But sometimes you
:10:16. > :10:20.are not rewarded. A degree or an inch, golf has always been a game of
:10:21. > :10:27.degree or inches, but that is usually down to your swing. Here the
:10:28. > :10:33.course is degrees and inches. Take 15, for example, the ball can stop
:10:34. > :10:41.right on the practices -- precipice or it can trickle into the water. It
:10:42. > :10:46.is very difficult. We saw Louis Oosthuizen yesterday, it was a
:10:47. > :10:50.terrible situation for him, but that is part of the terrible beauty that
:10:51. > :10:54.is Augusta. We want to hear some of your thoughts on the third round
:10:55. > :10:58.this evening and we would like to know whether you think Bubba Watson
:10:59. > :11:12.can see this through. Can he win a second Green Jacket?
:11:13. > :11:19.I mention that Bubba Watson is trying to be only the 17th man to do
:11:20. > :11:25.a double situation at August by winning it twice. There are only
:11:26. > :11:36.three men have ever won it back to back. Shall we find out?
:11:37. > :11:47.The nerves are getting to Bubba Watson.
:11:48. > :11:57.What a shot! Bubba Watson was the winner in 2012
:11:58. > :12:02.with that infamous banana shot and he is one of golf's great eccentrics
:12:03. > :12:11.and I wonder how much you at home enjoy seeing him play? How do you
:12:12. > :12:15.enjoy watching him play? Very much. He is like a golfing Willie Nelson.
:12:16. > :12:23.He can't Singh at all but he has made the most wonderful records. He
:12:24. > :12:28.just puts bats to ball and he has got a wonderful touch around the
:12:29. > :12:32.Greens and he bobs along like one of the Beverly Hills police. I think it
:12:33. > :12:38.is wonderful and it is the world of golf good to see someone like that.
:12:39. > :12:47.He has pulled some cracking steps along the way but he also shares
:12:48. > :12:51.your old caddy. How much influence is he going to have and what
:12:52. > :12:58.information have you gleaned from him about his chances this weekend?
:12:59. > :13:02.I asked him when he walked on the driving range, are you nervous
:13:03. > :13:08.today? Caddies get nervous as well. He said he was not. I asked him why.
:13:09. > :13:11.He said they have already won a Green Jacket and they are just going
:13:12. > :13:18.to try and make the most of a perfect day. He thought Bubba Watson
:13:19. > :13:22.was in a great place mentally. Bubba Watson rises and falls based on what
:13:23. > :13:30.he thinks. He has never had a lesson, flies by the seat of his
:13:31. > :13:35.pants, and he slaps the driver. He is in a good place mentally but it
:13:36. > :13:40.is hard to wait until 2:45pm to start and there is a big difference
:13:41. > :13:44.in going to sleep on a lead and waking up with the lead. He did not
:13:45. > :13:51.grab the lead until late on Sunday when he won it in 2011. Or 2012. But
:13:52. > :13:56.now he is sleeping on the lead and waking up with it and it is tough. I
:13:57. > :14:03.believe his mindset is said that he is patient and his head is in a good
:14:04. > :14:07.place. He is one of the top Americans in form here but there is
:14:08. > :14:12.a man here only 20 years of age, Jordan Spieth, who has made a real
:14:13. > :14:16.impact here. He virtually did not have a professional PGA status when
:14:17. > :14:21.Adam Scott was winning 12 months ago but he has done these amazing
:14:22. > :14:25.things, the youngest winner in 80 years, he has won the Presidents
:14:26. > :14:31.cup. What is going to be the biggest challenge for him? Keeping it going.
:14:32. > :14:36.He has got an ancient head on young shoulders. Whether that remains so
:14:37. > :14:41.or whether something... Golf is a slow and pedestrian game. Somebody
:14:42. > :14:46.once said, you have got to allow pictures and things to cross through
:14:47. > :14:51.your mind and clear them before you hit the shot. You have got time to
:14:52. > :14:56.ponder what you are going to have for dinner tonight or what movie you
:14:57. > :14:59.are going to see. It is not a game where everything happens in a
:15:00. > :15:06.split-second, you have too much time to think. Go and enjoy it. He seems
:15:07. > :15:12.to have wonderful news. He is old beyond his years. Some people can do
:15:13. > :15:18.it, we have had young people who can do it, so when people say, cancer
:15:19. > :15:28.one so when this? Of course he can win. He is trying to be the first
:15:29. > :15:33.rooky to win. But it was Bubba whose amazing run of fire birdies on the
:15:34. > :15:40.row, in a row rather began at the 12th and this is down Amen Corner.
:15:41. > :15:46.Guess who has been down there today? It could only be Ken Brown. What a
:15:47. > :15:53.beautiful morning. We are standing on the corner of Amen Corner.
:15:54. > :15:59.I'm going to take you around the corner as it were. It revolves the
:16:00. > :16:04.11th, 12th and 13th of the 11th runs along here and the second shot is
:16:05. > :16:08.across the water. That's number 11. You walk back from number 11 to the
:16:09. > :16:12.12th tee. The crowd is around here and you play across the water here
:16:13. > :16:17.and that's number 12 and 13, walk back to the tee and play this dog
:16:18. > :16:20.leg around the corner for number 13. That's the Amen Corner. So if you
:16:21. > :16:27.have a look at t we go around here. This is the 11th. The 11th green
:16:28. > :16:31.behind the scoreboard. You come around the corner of the dog leg and
:16:32. > :16:35.they hit across the water and the gentlemen there are marking out the
:16:36. > :16:40.pin for this morning. You turn around 13 around the corner and
:16:41. > :16:45.that's the 13th up there. That's Amen Corner. Beautiful holes. Tough
:16:46. > :16:49.holes. What a great stretch of holes.
:16:50. > :16:54.What a great stretch of holes, he loves it, doesn't? We will hear more
:16:55. > :16:59.from Ken over the day. What about the defending champion, Adam Scott?
:17:00. > :17:06.He is trying to do only what Nicholas Faldo and Woods have done
:17:07. > :17:27.by claiming the first year after they won it. Will it be his?
:17:28. > :17:43.What a long hole. You little beauty! This is to win. A life changer.
:17:44. > :17:49.Finally, he buttons up the green jacket.
:17:50. > :17:52.It is rounds of 69 and 72 so far for Scott.
:17:53. > :17:56.He really showed his mettle yesterday. What impressed you most
:17:57. > :18:00.about that round from Adam Scott, Peter? Well, he has been a beautiful
:18:01. > :18:05.striker of the ball for a number of years now. Games, ball games, in my
:18:06. > :18:09.opinion, you learn how to hit and then you learn how to play and then
:18:10. > :18:13.the third thing is you learn how to control the bits and pieces that go
:18:14. > :18:20.to make it up. He has got the first two now and he has learned how to
:18:21. > :18:25.play. Now, he has got to control head and heart and not get flustered
:18:26. > :18:28.and excited and it is not the great shots that always win, it is the
:18:29. > :18:32.foolish errors and the mistake and good luck that always costs you
:18:33. > :18:37.dear. He looks a sophisticated poised player. What about John
:18:38. > :18:42.Senden. Very under rated, but a great win a few weeks ago in Florida
:18:43. > :18:48.and having been seen as something of a weakness in his short game, that
:18:49. > :18:57.seems to have improved? He spent time with Ian Baker-Finch. I played
:18:58. > :19:04.a lot of golf with John Seinedle. He will hold his -- Senden. He had the
:19:05. > :19:08.same thing, really chipping and pitching around the greens as well,
:19:09. > :19:13.but he will be the opposite of Bubba Watson today who is going to fly by
:19:14. > :19:19.the seat of his pants and he is going to hit thunderous tee shots.
:19:20. > :19:24.John Senden will be more reserved and more polished. It should be
:19:25. > :19:28.steady Eddie from tee to green. It is whether or not on the greens he
:19:29. > :19:32.can deal with the pressure of the spotlight. It will be a challenge.
:19:33. > :19:35.It is Adam Scott who seems to have produced something special from the
:19:36. > :19:42.Australian players over the last few months and as we look at the
:19:43. > :19:51.patrons, don't forget, Adam Scott has a Kiwi caddy.
:19:52. > :19:54.Alongside me is Frank, fourth in the Masters and one of the leading
:19:55. > :19:59.analysts in the game. Frank, there is a tremendous mix, the likes of
:20:00. > :20:04.Bubba Watson, Jordan Spieth, is it something that you could have
:20:05. > :20:11.predicted at the start of the week? No. You would have thought Mickelson
:20:12. > :20:14.would find something. I thought Garcia would be the same. After day
:20:15. > :20:17.two, some of the stories were what happened to those guys? When you
:20:18. > :20:21.look at the top of the leaderboard, Bubba Watson is playing his best
:20:22. > :20:26.golf. Even probably better than he played in 2012 and there is an
:20:27. > :20:29.unknown stat that eight times a Masters champion had won two years
:20:30. > :20:33.after he won a Masters, that's better than that a one in ten chance
:20:34. > :20:40.considering they have been playing this event for 77 year Length is
:20:41. > :20:45.always an advantage, Thomas Bjorn, we had Monty on our set last night
:20:46. > :20:52.and Monty said that Thomas is playing the best golf ever.
:20:53. > :20:56.Last year, we saw an Aussie win the title finally. John Senden is up
:20:57. > :21:00.there and Adam Scott. What about their challenge? I don't know what
:21:01. > :21:07.happened to the Aussies and I guess it is the Adam Scott effect a bit
:21:08. > :21:10.like Harrington, the Irish went crazy. The only players to win on
:21:11. > :21:14.the PGA Tour that weren't Americans have been Australians and there have
:21:15. > :21:18.been four of them and not one of them is called Adam Scott. The only
:21:19. > :21:23.question mark with Adam is what happened to him at Bay Hill? He had
:21:24. > :21:26.an eight shot lead and that was when he was putting on the Friday night.
:21:27. > :21:33.He three putted that and reduced it to seven and that question mark of
:21:34. > :21:37.what gets him to number one? John Senden at the moment is playing his
:21:38. > :21:41.best golf as well. Even though he is in his early 40s. The hardest thing
:21:42. > :21:44.for him is nerves. The greens are as fast as anything and it is so hard
:21:45. > :21:47.to, you are always on the defensive here. It is like driving on black
:21:48. > :21:52.ice when you are putting around here.
:21:53. > :21:56.We have talked about the Australians. Let's talk about the
:21:57. > :22:03.Europeans. This goes in for a 66. The best round of the week. Terrific
:22:04. > :22:09.to see him do that. He is right up there. Necessary a tie for third
:22:10. > :22:18.right now at 3-under. Four shots behind Bubba Watson. Well played. 15
:22:19. > :22:23.years after the last European won the green jacket.
:22:24. > :22:29.Let's talk about the British golfers. It is 25 years since Sir
:22:30. > :22:34.Nick Faldo won the first of his three green jackets.
:22:35. > :22:42.Pooh weather forced a third round fob to be finished on Sunday
:22:43. > :22:46.morning. He made a crucial decision. That's when I swapped putters. I
:22:47. > :22:54.went out and holed everything. I went out like you can't believe.
:22:55. > :22:57.He likes it! A wonderful putt. I was holing putts from all over the
:22:58. > :23:02.place. They were some of the greatest putts I have ever holed. A
:23:03. > :23:07.play-off started on ten and the American had a putt to win. I
:23:08. > :23:11.remember saying, "I can still win this, but it doesn't look very good
:23:12. > :23:21.right now." What can I tell you? Faldo made him
:23:22. > :23:25.pay. That was the sweetest putt I ever hit in my life. What a way to
:23:26. > :23:32.do it! Faldo would win again in 1990 and
:23:33. > :23:41.1996 and remains the last Brit to win the green jacket. You saw Sandy
:23:42. > :23:47.Lyle there. Isn't it great to see him make the
:23:48. > :23:51.cut again and it ended with Sir Nick in 1996, his third green jacket. You
:23:52. > :24:03.have to go back to 1999, 15 years ago for the last European, Jose
:24:04. > :24:10.Maria. Alongside me is Sir Nick Faldo. It
:24:11. > :24:15.has been a rev riveting tournament. Bubba Watson is out in front. What
:24:16. > :24:18.is the psychology he has to see this through? He is a different animal.
:24:19. > :24:23.He is interesting. He plays this game. He doesn't matter how he does
:24:24. > :24:27.it. It doesn't matter what it looks like. It is just a score. Many times
:24:28. > :24:35.on television, I go down to the range and say, "What did you try and
:24:36. > :24:43.hit on some hole?" He says, "What did I make?" I said, "You birdied
:24:44. > :24:50.it. " It is about hitting the greens. Can he hit the greens? As
:24:51. > :24:55.they set the golf course up tougher, you have to just find spots that you
:24:56. > :25:00.can hit on the greens. And when he drives, the other cool
:25:01. > :25:06.thing about him is when he drives well, you know, he has got two
:25:07. > :25:10.drives. It is either there and there or he does not nail it. When he won
:25:11. > :25:18.a couple of years ago, he nailed it down the back nine. The other thing
:25:19. > :25:25.amazing, we are all into stats now, he is the lag putting, we heard his
:25:26. > :25:30.lag putt in the proximity to hole of those lags, he is the best by miles
:25:31. > :25:37.which you wouldn't think because his stroke is horrendous at times!
:25:38. > :25:43.So but you know, you carry the pressure of, he didn't lead last
:25:44. > :25:48.time at all until he won it and it is all early days. 36 holes. The
:25:49. > :25:50.golf course will play tough and scary now.
:25:51. > :25:58.That's an under statement. It will be very, very dicey out there on the
:25:59. > :26:03.greens as we have seen. But from a European prospective, it is Denmark
:26:04. > :26:09.and Sweden leading the way. Thomas Bjorn a real renaissance for him, he
:26:10. > :26:13.is 43 years of age and prams trying to get -- perhaps trying to get
:26:14. > :26:19.himself into a Ryder Cup team. It is great form from him? Yes,
:26:20. > :26:23.tremendous. The two countries aren't renowned for their golfing prowess,
:26:24. > :26:28.they are more into their skiing and whatever else they do, make beer! He
:26:29. > :26:43.has been a very good striker of the ball, Thomas. When he putts well,
:26:44. > :26:47.they go in obviously, but Blixt spent a lot of time in the United
:26:48. > :26:53.States. Thomas born is a man you know --
:26:54. > :26:57.Thomas Bjorn is a man he now well. He had three second place finishes
:26:58. > :27:01.in majors, but to be contending at this level once again, what do you
:27:02. > :27:05.see as prospects for him for the weekend? Do you think he can keep
:27:06. > :27:09.this going? I do. I feel like I want to give somebody who is a little bit
:27:10. > :27:15.older an edge over the younger, pack of guys that are, even Bubba Watson
:27:16. > :27:19.in some capacity, I believe Thomas Bjorn knows the course well or
:27:20. > :27:23.better than Bubba Watson, but the difference is in Bubba's mind he
:27:24. > :27:28.knows he has done it here. He can overpower the course, but I look at
:27:29. > :27:32.Thomas Bjorn and I think it is in his heart and head, does he continue
:27:33. > :27:36.to work and continue to practise as hard as he did, you know, maybe
:27:37. > :27:42.doesn't need to practise as hard, but the thing is that as Peter
:27:43. > :27:46.alluded to, he always hit it well. He was this close to having the Open
:27:47. > :27:49.Championship a few years ago. He got unlucky in the bunker there. The
:27:50. > :27:54.ball rolled back and he let that get away. He knows he is capable of
:27:55. > :27:58.pulling this off. Now you just have to do it.
:27:59. > :28:06.That's the hard part. As for the UK challenge, we have a
:28:07. > :28:26.Scotsman and Welshman. It is Stephen Gallacher. He has done what his
:28:27. > :28:30.uncle Bernard Gallacher didn't do. Four times he made bogeys. He is a
:28:31. > :28:35.quiet man. Stephen has been around for a number of years. A suspect on
:28:36. > :28:43.the greens as so many of us are, but when he gets over that and he is
:28:44. > :28:48.settled, physically settled, it goes well. Jamie is the same. They are
:28:49. > :28:52.both, although Steve has been around plodding, Donaldson has appeared
:28:53. > :28:57.really over the last couple of years at that level. Still a bit to go.
:28:58. > :29:02.But a good swing. He strikes the ball well. You can see and feel the
:29:03. > :29:09.self-belief going through this young man. Not so much as a young man, he
:29:10. > :29:14.is a late bloomer, Donaldson. He became known to US audiences after
:29:15. > :29:19.the finish if the stroke play event of the year. What do you make of
:29:20. > :29:31.him? I don't know much about him. I will tell you what to look for today
:29:32. > :29:41.out of him and Thomas Bjorn and Jonas Blixt. Adam Scot has
:29:42. > :29:44.self-belief and confidence. He was ahead at Bay Hill. He dug deep
:29:45. > :29:49.yesterday and was able to make a comeback. If these guys get
:29:50. > :29:52.unravelled and the course is set-up reasonably difficult today. There
:29:53. > :29:56.are opportunities, but boy watch the mindset and see if the jaw drops, if
:29:57. > :30:02.the head drops. Who keeps it together mentally today is really
:30:03. > :30:06.critical? A man who has been stoic and very much an ever present when
:30:07. > :30:11.it comes to the back nine in majors, it is this man, it is Lee Westwood.
:30:12. > :30:15.This was one of the most outrageous putts we have seen for sometime. It
:30:16. > :30:20.took about five changes of direction and in it popped. Lee is in a tie
:30:21. > :30:25.for 15th place as we started the day. A possibility for Lee, could he
:30:26. > :30:34.go a couple of places better than what eight, top three finishes in
:30:35. > :30:38.majors? Those who support him and I have watched him play most of his
:30:39. > :30:43.golfing life, he has the ability to do it. He needs a little bit of good
:30:44. > :30:51.fortune. It is easy to say, what is missing? Nobody really knows because
:30:52. > :30:57.somebody can miss one and you never really know but it would be nice to
:30:58. > :31:03.see him take another step forward. The years are tiptoeing by. The year
:31:04. > :31:09.and the day is starting and this is Bubba Watson, the man in control.
:31:10. > :31:15.This is his third shot so he has that for what would be a very good
:31:16. > :31:21.part. A mistake on the second shot. That is going to be very tricky to
:31:22. > :31:26.make. I would like to add about Lee Westwood, we were talking about Greg
:31:27. > :31:33.Norman and Nick Faldo, Greg Norman has had tournaments snatched from
:31:34. > :31:37.him. Nick Faldo has had, he has been in the right place five of the six
:31:38. > :31:42.times and had somebody lose and him be the victor in that regard, but
:31:43. > :31:47.all credit to anybody who can win a major at any time. It is hard to do.
:31:48. > :31:52.Peter is right, a little bit of good fortune. Maybe Westwood gets in
:31:53. > :32:07.possession, continues to get in position enough, and then all of a
:32:08. > :32:14.sudden it is over. Perhaps it could be his time sometime. Ken is out and
:32:15. > :32:18.about somewhere. I am standing at the back of the
:32:19. > :32:22.range with some of the leaders warming up. One of the key things is
:32:23. > :32:27.how strong is the wind and where is it going from. Some players might
:32:28. > :32:34.take a flag and market on their plan. Not much air at all. I would
:32:35. > :32:43.say it is about a five yard wind. Very little breeze. If we look
:32:44. > :32:49.around at the different flags on the golf course, some of them are hardly
:32:50. > :32:54.moving at all. Some are fluttering in different directions. The yellow
:32:55. > :33:00.ones, slightly lighter flags, that little bit of movement. And through
:33:01. > :33:04.the trees, sometimes it rocks, sometimes it is sheltered, but
:33:05. > :33:08.getting the club selection right and finding out where the breeze is is
:33:09. > :33:14.absolutely critical. If you get it wrong, you can be in all sorts of
:33:15. > :33:19.trouble. We are moments away from live
:33:20. > :33:26.coverage. This is John Senden out in the final pairing a few moments ago.
:33:27. > :33:31.That is a nervy start. We are hearing that Bubba Watson dropped a
:33:32. > :33:35.shot as well. A nervy start for two of them in that last group out on
:33:36. > :33:46.the course. They went out about 20 minutes ago. This is the situation.
:33:47. > :33:53.Jim Furyk has been making great strides with a few birdies. Adam
:33:54. > :34:01.Scott has dropped a shot early on in his round. It is all beginning to
:34:02. > :34:08.move. Fowler also underway. Stephen Gallacher won over after five holes.
:34:09. > :34:13.These guys are going to have to do an awful lot of work. It has never
:34:14. > :34:19.been one from more than eight shots back on the final day here at
:34:20. > :34:25.Augusta. You wonder where the likes of Bernard Langer will be at the end
:34:26. > :34:29.of the day. There are six of the over 50s contending this weekend,
:34:30. > :34:33.the highest praise of whom is Fred Couples, who for a fifth year in a
:34:34. > :34:39.row has started the second half of the tournament in the top ten. Paul
:34:40. > :34:44.and Peter are heading down to the commentary position right now.
:34:45. > :34:48.Meantime, it is time to say good evening, as we start to enjoy the
:34:49. > :34:54.third round, with Ken Brown and Andrew Cotter.
:34:55. > :35:03.What a glorious day it is. We will go straight down to Jonas Blixt.
:35:04. > :35:08.This for a birdie on the second. The Swede has been based in the United
:35:09. > :35:13.States for a long time now. Good scoring already today and the wind
:35:14. > :35:19.not quite what it was yesterday. Slightly easier pin positions. The
:35:20. > :35:23.breeze is light but it is just enough to affect club selection. I
:35:24. > :35:31.think that is what might have caught Bubba Watson out. The par fives are
:35:32. > :35:38.playing the easiest holes on the course. You have got to make hay on
:35:39. > :35:48.those. One of the players who has been going well, Ian Poulter, at the
:35:49. > :35:51.15th. He has slipped a little bit over the last couple of holes that
:35:52. > :36:04.are passed down for a birdie on the par five. -- up and down. You have
:36:05. > :36:12.got plenty of green to work with. That is unbelievable pace. He got up
:36:13. > :36:28.to 2-under par. Thomas Bjorn, a chance for a birdie
:36:29. > :36:39.on the second. That was a nearly one. A 15 time winner on the
:36:40. > :36:42.European Tour, loads of experience. He has twice been runner-up in major
:36:43. > :36:49.Championships. He knows what he has got to do. Down the hill at the
:36:50. > :37:11.second. Senden sends it down there. At bit
:37:12. > :37:27.lucky. It is going to be a long at -- putt. A very sound striker of the
:37:28. > :37:31.ball and has been for a long while. We asked you if Bubba Watson was
:37:32. > :37:33.going to win the Masters, we putt the question out there, and most of
:37:34. > :37:47.you think not. This one heading out to the left. A
:37:48. > :37:56.great shot from Bubba Watson, getting better. And eagle putt to
:37:57. > :37:57.come. A stumble at the first. It might be two shots back at the
:37:58. > :38:10.second. Justin Rose, a good tee shot on the
:38:11. > :38:17.13th. A little plateau. The ball above the feet. Very hard to get on
:38:18. > :38:41.the shelf at the back of this green. Stay there. Nearly perfect. Will it?
:38:42. > :38:58.Please. That is mean. One end for today. -- 1-under. A good shot
:38:59. > :38:59.though. Jordan Spieth. He knew that was in long before it dropped. He
:39:00. > :39:21.looks comfortable. Just 20 years old. He made his debut
:39:22. > :39:28.Masters this year and is up to 13th in the world rankings.
:39:29. > :39:47.Pretty well judged. The simplest of birdies.
:39:48. > :39:57.Perfect condition is out here for golf. Lovely temperatures, nice
:39:58. > :40:08.light. Justin Rose, and eagle putt. He just fell away at the last.
:40:09. > :40:16.He has it right in the middle! Justin Rose, a big band into the red
:40:17. > :40:18.figures. This is what you can do on the back nine at Augusta, especially
:40:19. > :40:42.on the par fives. Miguel Angel Jimenez with a round of
:40:43. > :40:45.66 which included seven birdies. He missed the Masters last year having
:40:46. > :40:50.broken his leg and did not come back into the season until March but it
:40:51. > :40:56.has catapulted Miguel Angel Jimenez right into the heart of things in
:40:57. > :41:04.third place. He can simply sit back and watch everyone else out there.
:41:05. > :41:16.Rickie Fowler on the 16th. Playing 155 today, front right.
:41:17. > :41:23.Lovely. So easy to miss it by a couple of yards to the left and it
:41:24. > :41:29.would fall to the bottom level of the green. It looks like he has had
:41:30. > :41:35.a haircut. You can't tell how severe it is
:41:36. > :41:51.under the lid. A good card though. Both Ian Poulter and Justin Rose
:41:52. > :42:08.started the week with 76. But they are speeding up the leaderboard.
:42:09. > :42:31.Not too bad from there. Sorry about that little outburst. Let's have a
:42:32. > :42:42.look at the man who has won recently. Steven Bowditch. Awesome,
:42:43. > :42:53.says the caddy. That is not awesome, that is quite the opposite.
:42:54. > :43:01.Very nearly awesome. Couples at the treacherous par three. He has played
:43:02. > :43:08.a Gandhi there. That is unbelievable. You have got to be
:43:09. > :43:20.very selective where you miss this one if you are going to do. John
:43:21. > :43:28.Senden, this is for his birdie. He rolled it in nicely. The man from
:43:29. > :43:29.Brisbane. He makes fact that shot he gave away at the first and settles
:43:30. > :43:50.himself down. -- back. A big moment for Bubba Watson. He
:43:51. > :43:54.nudges it forward and it just wriggles in the side also a bogey at
:43:55. > :44:07.the first but he strikes back with an eagle. Roars ring around the golf
:44:08. > :44:12.course. The great thing about the Masters, the noise. Yesterday, Bubba
:44:13. > :44:22.Watson was sensational on the back nine. His tee shot to the 12th. A
:44:23. > :44:30.little bit more breeze yesterday. This was the start of a fantastic
:44:31. > :44:41.run. He set himself up well there. A great second shot into the 13th.
:44:42. > :44:49.This was him at the par five. The second shot to within eight feet or
:44:50. > :44:59.so. He two putted for a birdie. This was a little bonus. Look at this.
:45:00. > :45:07.Look at this. Birdies at 12, 13 and a one in a million at 14. 15, talk
:45:08. > :45:11.about difficult, because anything too strong, it goes beyond the flag
:45:12. > :45:16.and into the water, but it was judged beautifully. He hits the ball
:45:17. > :45:28.a mile but he has got very soft hands around the green and it was
:45:29. > :45:40.another birdie. 9-iron, 176 yards. Birdies at 12, 13, 14, 15 and what
:45:41. > :45:46.would you do at 16? Down she comes. This is a hole in one pin. We did
:45:47. > :45:57.not have one yesterday. Five birdies in a row. He was just really hungry!
:45:58. > :46:05.Let's have a look at this shop here. It looked as if it had gone away to
:46:06. > :46:12.the left. But it was just a thing of beauty. It led to an eagle. We
:46:13. > :46:19.thought, seeing that bogey at the first, early sign of nerves, but you
:46:20. > :46:20.hit back with an eagle and just popped this in to restore a four
:46:21. > :46:32.shot lead. This is how we stand at the moment.
:46:33. > :46:38.Bubba Watson out in front by four shots from Jordan Spieth. Miguel
:46:39. > :46:48.Angel Jimenez showing what can be done in the earlier conditions. 66
:46:49. > :46:55.moves him to 3-under. Kevin Stadler on 2-under par.
:46:56. > :47:00.Justin Rose, as we saw earlier, a beautiful port. Moving in the right
:47:01. > :47:19.direction. Currently tied for 12th. Let's go to the long par-3, fourth
:47:20. > :47:24.hole. Not as long as it has been over the first couple of days.
:47:25. > :47:31.Spieth, steering it down. This judgement. There has not been one
:47:32. > :47:39.birdie here today, that is how awkward that pin position is. There
:47:40. > :47:43.is some wind down there. It is supposed to be five miles per hour,
:47:44. > :47:53.perhaps getting up towards ten mph later on. Jonas Blixt went out to
:47:54. > :48:11.Florida to college. He stayed out here and made his career here.
:48:12. > :48:23.Go on, then. A nice line, the place not quite so good. Look at that
:48:24. > :48:28.coming back. You can see with the hole is cut yet, it is on a little
:48:29. > :48:30.rise. He finished fourth in the PGA Championship last year but this is
:48:31. > :48:36.his debut at Augusta. A slow putt at the hill for Ian
:48:37. > :48:59.Poulter. Delightfully judged. This was earlier as Rickie Fowler,
:49:00. > :49:03.playing alongside Ian Poulter. Another look at that one because it
:49:04. > :49:05.shows how difficult it is to get close to the pin. That is just about
:49:06. > :49:39.as close as you can get. Nice to that. -- 2-putt. This is the
:49:40. > :49:51.result of Jordan Spieth's teashop. -- teashop.
:49:52. > :50:03.Chasing back when, trying to run at the front of the green and he has
:50:04. > :50:11.judged it pretty well, Justin Rose. If you are going to miss that pin,
:50:12. > :50:20.that is probably the easiest spot. Thomas Bjorn, a couple of bars to
:50:21. > :50:25.start. He does not have a good record at the Masters at all. Just
:50:26. > :50:41.one top 20. A solid opening to the third round.
:50:42. > :50:52.Going down the slope at the fourth. It gives you an idea of the speed of
:50:53. > :50:58.the greens. Amazing, isn't it? It is like a boomerang. You were the wrong
:50:59. > :51:09.spot on number four and it is very difficult to get down into.
:51:10. > :51:20.Bubba Watson. It is amazing, the movement in the feet. He can get
:51:21. > :51:30.this 1 million miles away from the green.
:51:31. > :51:40.He should be OK. A little bit of a bank to come. The shortest of the
:51:41. > :51:44.par fours. You have got to decide what you are going to do off the
:51:45. > :51:52.tee. These bunkers originally putt in by Jack Nicklaus. Bubba It is
:51:53. > :52:08.just short of the left-hand bunker. A few murmurs watching that one.
:52:09. > :52:20.That is why. But the pain is at back right today. It is still the same
:52:21. > :52:49.length as it was when it was originally built, 350 yards.
:52:50. > :52:55.Jim Furyk, a chance to get to 4-under par. A friendly pin position
:52:56. > :53:17.on the 60 day. -- six today. Down the slope for Ricky. He has got
:53:18. > :53:25.it in. Well done. It is looking like a neat, tidy card suddenly. Spieth
:53:26. > :53:26.drops a shot at the fourth all thanks to the teashop, a big
:53:27. > :54:08.misjudgement. Let's see if Ian Poulter can finish
:54:09. > :54:20.with his heart on the 16th. -- par. In it goes.
:54:21. > :54:42.A quality shot. I am surprised it did not gather at the more but an
:54:43. > :54:55.obvious chance for a birdie. Justin Rose. Between the sprinkler heads.
:54:56. > :55:04.That is not too bad. So many variables in that shot.
:55:05. > :55:10.We saw Ken earlier Ron was down at Amen Corner and he caught up with an
:55:11. > :55:14.old friend. You can hear the birds of the mower
:55:15. > :55:18.on the green during the final preparations. I am coming up the
:55:19. > :55:25.camera tower. I am going to catch up with an old friend who has been here
:55:26. > :55:31.for so long. You must have a few stories to tell. Under a bit of
:55:32. > :55:36.pressure, having to follow the ball. There has not been a hole in
:55:37. > :55:47.one since I have been here in 22 years. Yesterday, Craig Stadler edit
:55:48. > :55:53.this file. -- hit it this far. Is there pressure? This is the most
:55:54. > :56:03.pressure I feel all year. Any stories? 1997 when Tiger Woods was
:56:04. > :56:07.hurting here. Somebody sliced a ball from the fairway and it landed on
:56:08. > :56:13.the green. He looked at me and I pointed that way. I have known him a
:56:14. > :56:21.long time and I told him it came from across. How difficult is it to
:56:22. > :56:25.follow the ball? We have colour viewfinder is to find the ball. But
:56:26. > :56:31.it is difficult. It makes your heart race. And you are getting spoken to
:56:32. > :56:37.the hole time by different people? Absolutely. We have multiple fields
:56:38. > :56:47.going out. Here. Internet, Amen Corner, CBS. I have a Christmas tree
:56:48. > :56:53.going off with different nights telling me I am on the air. Show us
:56:54. > :57:03.what you have to do. I pretty much stand here like this. Why have you
:57:04. > :57:06.got this around your head? I don't have any light coming in here
:57:07. > :57:15.whatsoever. I followed the ball like this. Sometimes I have to go all the
:57:16. > :57:18.way up here. Thank you very much. The players are under pressure but a
:57:19. > :57:23.lot of other people are as well. Congratulations.
:57:24. > :57:30.A little bit of old school technology. There he is following
:57:31. > :57:35.the ball at Amen Corner. Even before we came on with the live coverage,
:57:36. > :57:39.you can watch Amen Corner, you can watch the practice ground as well.
:57:40. > :57:43.That is online or via the red button. Lee Westwood's birdie
:57:44. > :57:57.attempt. That has been the story of his week.
:57:58. > :58:03.He has missed one or two opportunities. He has not quite made
:58:04. > :58:09.enough birdies, particularly on the par fives. Justin Rose for par on
:58:10. > :58:27.the 14th. Very well done after that eagle on
:58:28. > :58:33.the 13th, he batted with a par and stays 1-under.
:58:34. > :58:37.And this is the situation. Bubba Watson with that four shot lead.
:58:38. > :58:49.John Senden in the closest proximity. Some move from Rickie
:58:50. > :58:55.Fowler. Jim Furyk. Matt Kuchar 2-under for his round. Justin Rose
:58:56. > :58:58.has been motoring. He has had his second eagle of the week. Ian
:58:59. > :59:33.Poulter on the 17th. Bubba Watson after an enormous drive
:59:34. > :59:46.at the third. He could be a little bit disappointed with that. Almost a
:59:47. > :59:52.casual flick of the hands when he plays those shots. Adam Scott for a
:59:53. > :59:56.bogey. That does not look good. Look where it has gone. You have no idea
:59:57. > :00:26.how fast these greens are. Yes. It is on the fairway now. It
:00:27. > :00:32.good tee shot for Justin Rose. Adam Scott is having another go.
:00:33. > :00:36.He gets it. But what a struggle. Not the best of starts. Three shots
:00:37. > :00:57.dropped at the first few holes. Oh, that was really moving. That's
:00:58. > :01:02.what is known as a power lift. Sometimes the players will refer to
:01:03. > :01:13.that as a pain job! And other things! Here is Freddie. Oh, it is
:01:14. > :01:20.going to be one of those days, I fear. The weather is absolutely
:01:21. > :01:24.delightful. They have been coming here for many, many moons and I have
:01:25. > :01:29.never seen a nicer three days. A bit of rain at the beginning of the
:01:30. > :01:35.week, but it is absolutely delightful. Freddie, two bogeys and
:01:36. > :01:44.a couple of birdies. Rickie Fowler has a great round going. 5-under for
:01:45. > :01:52.the day and boy, that was just confidently holed. That's a pretty
:01:53. > :02:17.nice second nine. Took advantage of both par-5s. A wonderful birdie at
:02:18. > :02:21.16. A good save. Oliver Goss, now lives in Australia.
:02:22. > :02:37.He can blame the pitch shot for that.
:02:38. > :02:44.Jonas Blixt, the Swedish player. He is living most of the time in the
:02:45. > :03:00.United States. Well, number three is one of the
:03:01. > :03:06.easier holes on the first nine today.
:03:07. > :03:25.That's a fairly easy hole location as well. A bit of an unforced error
:03:26. > :03:36.there for Senden. Matt Kuchar at the 9th. It is slightly downhill.
:03:37. > :03:45.Is it going to move backwards? I'm not sure I agree with all this
:03:46. > :03:49.stuff. I will They will be quite shocked up in the clubhouse. This
:03:50. > :03:54.isn't golf to me, but they like it. It is all very well to say, you play
:03:55. > :04:07.up there and it comes back, but it is not what you are supposed to do.
:04:08. > :04:13.Justin Rose's second at the 15th. 1-under for the Championship. Will
:04:14. > :04:27.it stay up? No, it will not stay. It will! That's a miracle!
:04:28. > :04:33.Have a bet on him quickly! It is the first time I have ever seen that
:04:34. > :04:38.happen. Now, Poulter for his par at the 17th. Well done, Ian. Well done.
:04:39. > :04:58.Very nicely indeed. STUDIO: It is Ricky Fowler who is
:04:59. > :05:06.motoring now. Rickie Fowler, you might remember was in the lead at
:05:07. > :05:10.the Open, at Royal St George's and finished fifth behind Darren Clarke
:05:11. > :05:17.so he is one to watch. They are fast greens, aren't they? Let's hear from
:05:18. > :05:20.Ken. They look green and they don't look
:05:21. > :05:23.that fast, if you look at the quality of it, it is just amazing,
:05:24. > :05:29.how you can get a plant to grow like that, I don't know. It must be less
:05:30. > :05:33.than two millimetres long that grass. They are always drying out.
:05:34. > :05:38.This afternoon, this is going to be so, so fast. I'm going to nudge a
:05:39. > :05:45.couple of putts down this green and give you an idea of the pace. Hit
:05:46. > :05:50.them quickly. Let's just see. I'm going to wander down with them. They
:05:51. > :05:56.can trickle on. Trickle on. Right around the corner. Come on, boys!
:05:57. > :06:01.Come on! I've just given that for a ten foot and it ran 45 feet. The
:06:02. > :06:07.greens are grease lightening today and they will dry up. My jingle, it
:06:08. > :06:13.will be difficult. Fingers crossed, lads!
:06:14. > :06:24.A test of nerve and patience. Lee Westwood.
:06:25. > :06:26.It is swinging in towards the green. It is a nice shot, indeed. Well
:06:27. > :06:56.done. Matt Kuchar for birdie. He takes
:06:57. > :06:59.advantage. A fantastic start for Matt Kuchar. He is right back in it.
:07:00. > :07:20.The fourth tee, Bubba Watson. Oh. A little shy. But there are
:07:21. > :07:24.worse places you can be on this fourth hole. Well, that's OK Peter
:07:25. > :07:36.because he is below the hole. Where you really get in trouble on four if
:07:37. > :07:53.you are in one of the bunkers. He hasn't lost the magic touch.
:07:54. > :07:58.Ever so careful. It must not touch the ground. Oh boy. Well, will that
:07:59. > :08:05.stay up? Will it stay? Yes! I have always
:08:06. > :08:10.found it a little unnerving when you know the ball can go backwards just
:08:11. > :08:19.because of the weight of your footstep.
:08:20. > :08:30.Bubba is just short of the green. Senden bunker left.
:08:31. > :08:40.This is the view from behind the 16th green.
:08:41. > :08:47.STUDIO: There is the card of Rory McIlroy. 71 today for Rory, but it
:08:48. > :08:52.was the 7 # 7 yesterday that spoiled his chances. He is with Rishi.
:08:53. > :08:57.Rory, what was that like? Your experience of going out first on a
:08:58. > :09:01.Saturday at the Masters? I enjoyed it. I enjoyed the round. It is not
:09:02. > :09:06.an experience I want to really have again. It was nice to do it once and
:09:07. > :09:10.I will try not to let it happen again, but you know, the course was,
:09:11. > :09:14.you know, we were first out there and the course was fiery from the
:09:15. > :09:19.start. So you know, the guys are going to find it, you know, pretty
:09:20. > :09:24.interesting this afternoon. What do you get out of a round like that?
:09:25. > :09:31.Not much. I mean it was nice to see a couple of putts drop in the back
:09:32. > :09:36.nine. You know, I shot under par. I felt I played well enough to shoot
:09:37. > :09:40.something a lot lower, but it is just, the way the golf course is
:09:41. > :09:45.set-up, it is hard to go really low out there and you know, I see Gary
:09:46. > :09:51.Woodland going really well, but that will be the exception today. I think
:09:52. > :09:54.Gary, anything around 70 or 69 will be a really, really good effort out
:09:55. > :10:01.there this afternoon. Is it possible to pick out one or two real
:10:02. > :10:05.potential points of danger? Yeah, I mean, I don't think 11 and 12 are
:10:06. > :10:08.going to play as hard as they were the first couple of days, they have
:10:09. > :10:16.put the pin on the right-hand side at 11. Some tricky pins on the front
:10:17. > :10:23.nine. The first hole, for example, back left, you have got to be really
:10:24. > :10:28.careful of that one. There is a few, the sixth hole, the fifth hole, even
:10:29. > :10:31.the fourth, you know, I hit a five iron as high as I could and I
:10:32. > :10:36.couldn't even stop it within 30 feet of the hole. There is a few that
:10:37. > :10:38.are, a few pins that are out there that are going to be tough to get
:10:39. > :10:53.up. Rory, thank you. Thank you. I don't know what they feed them on,
:10:54. > :10:58.but it certainly wasn't around in my youth!
:10:59. > :11:01.He was very fortunate not to go back in the water. Up the hill, right to
:11:02. > :11:18.left. Running well. Oh, what a bonus! What
:11:19. > :11:33.a bonus there, Paul. Two or three shot swing at least. Rose to
:11:34. > :11:41.4-under. Just six shots back, but if one guy stumbles he is right in the
:11:42. > :11:49.mix. Henrik Stenson was many people's
:11:50. > :12:04.pick for Augusta. A par-3 across the water. Nicely, nicely, nicely. Bubba
:12:05. > :12:09.left this right below the hill. A fairly easy up and down. Oh slow
:12:10. > :12:15.down. Slow down. Oh my goodness! This next one will be a
:12:16. > :12:21.knee-knocker. Chipping is very difficult. I noticed that the last
:12:22. > :12:30.couple of days, Paul. Getting the ball close is really tricky. Rickie
:12:31. > :12:34.Fowler, coming up the hill. Oh yes, that will do! That will do very
:12:35. > :12:41.nicely, indeed! APPLAUSE
:12:42. > :12:49.Ricky is in the midst of a swing change. It is all coming together
:12:50. > :12:59.for him. Jordan Spieth, 179 yards down the hill. Just carried the
:13:00. > :13:13.bunker. That's a big eight iron. Will it go down? That's a terrific
:13:14. > :13:16.shot. That will be a fast putt. Left to right breaker. What a great
:13:17. > :13:20.opportunity. Now bubba for par, Peter.
:13:21. > :13:25.Well, as you say, this is just a little touch and if it has pace and
:13:26. > :13:34.it catches the edge of the hole, it can go miles by. Too high. He is
:13:35. > :13:40.afraid of it. He was nervous. A shot dropped.
:13:41. > :13:47.Well, that's a shame because that's exactly where you would like to
:13:48. > :13:52.leave your tee shot if you don't get it on the green. Fowler at the 18th.
:13:53. > :14:03.Can he finish off with a nice three? A bit of swing on this.
:14:04. > :14:14.They just don't gather in. A chance missed.
:14:15. > :14:21.Only 155 yards, but you better pay full attention.
:14:22. > :14:24.It has to be the exact right distance and the players will take
:14:25. > :14:45.dead aim. Nice rhythm. A beauty. Steady
:14:46. > :14:52.though, steady. That's good. The wind is freshening down that bottom
:14:53. > :14:56.corner, Paul, you see the flag moving? That's a very well
:14:57. > :15:11.constructed round of golf for the young fella. 34, 33. Thomas Bjorn
:15:12. > :15:18.for birdie at the fifth. Up the hill, a big left to right.
:15:19. > :15:25.It is tough to judge. That's one of those you would have hit 15 or 20 of
:15:26. > :15:30.them on the practise days. Players for the most part know where the
:15:31. > :15:36.holes will be cut here, especially somebody like Thomas Bjorn who has
:15:37. > :15:41.been here year in and year out. Ian Poulter at the 18th.
:15:42. > :15:56.Boom! APPLAUSE
:15:57. > :16:07.Two nicely played rounds. STUDIO: Bubba Watson has a healthy
:16:08. > :16:12.cushion. This is the situation as we see, John Senden there. Let's get
:16:13. > :16:15.back to him. He is in the last group out with bubba.
:16:16. > :16:20.-- Bubba. An excellent bunker shot for Senden
:16:21. > :16:47.and a nice putt for par. Now Blixt. Way left. Has he got it
:16:48. > :16:50.right? He has. Every putt is an adventure, isn't it? Really. It is
:16:51. > :16:58.almost like the greens are made of, I don't know, polished steel. Bubba
:16:59. > :17:12.with that beautiful swing. He zips it away. Look how far Senden's drive
:17:13. > :17:23.went. He needs to be aggressive here. It
:17:24. > :17:34.is one of the few putts where you don't have to play defence. Maybe!
:17:35. > :17:42.Well, the numbers of times these putts just skip by the edge of the
:17:43. > :17:52.hole. Spieth gets one in. Well done! He is moving up. Well, he continues
:17:53. > :17:59.to amaze. He appears to be an excellent fast green putter. Well,
:18:00. > :18:03.they are all gathering around and while they are enjoying things, we
:18:04. > :18:09.have Thomas Bjorn having putted up very well from the front of the
:18:10. > :18:11.green. He gets one in. Well holed. All the putts a real test of skill
:18:12. > :18:26.and nerve. A wonderful shot by Rose in a nine
:18:27. > :18:34.iron to here at 16 down the hill. Left to right breaker. Delicate.
:18:35. > :18:47.Just a tap. Oh, it is not going right at all. Oh my gosh. Well, what
:18:48. > :19:05.a surprise. He is playing well today. 4-under par today. 2-under
:19:06. > :19:10.par for the tournament. Matt Kuchar at the 10th.
:19:11. > :19:20.What a lovely roll. It didn't disappear.
:19:21. > :19:39.A seven iron for Blixt down the hill. Look at it go. That ball was a
:19:40. > :19:47.mile in the air and you still see how much it released. This is a hole
:19:48. > :19:51.that's been lengthened so much over the years and I honestly don't think
:19:52. > :20:00.it has been improved. It has been made more difficult, but this is a
:20:01. > :20:04.very, very strong par-4 now. It used to be get your drive away straight
:20:05. > :20:09.and then you played up to this narrow green. But he has done the
:20:10. > :20:17.first bit all right, but still much danger lurking.
:20:18. > :20:32.He is leaning like he pulled it maybe. Oh, stay there. I think it
:20:33. > :20:42.will stay. Yeah, it is OK. Westwood on the tee at the 12th. The flag on
:20:43. > :20:58.the left side of the screen today. Tucked in the corner. A nice shot.
:20:59. > :21:07.Senden will be here at the 5th hole. It is out to the right and he will
:21:08. > :21:14.have to watch his trajectory here. He will run this up on the green and
:21:15. > :21:20.up on top of the hill. Yeah, a nice little knockdown. Has he judged it
:21:21. > :21:26.correctly? Oh, wow, that's not going to make it, I don't feel. That
:21:27. > :21:29.landed really soft, Peter. It is cruel really. He played that very
:21:30. > :21:33.well, but it will stop just on the edge of it. An impossibly difficult
:21:34. > :21:54.putt left. Louis Oosthuizen. He is always ta a
:21:55. > :22:01.delight to watch. He was plagued with injuries. His demeanors
:22:02. > :22:04.matches. He is not a huge man. A good middleweight, I suppose, but
:22:05. > :22:15.everything looks so easy and comfortable.
:22:16. > :22:27.He didn't like the sound of that. Is it water? Yes.
:22:28. > :22:34.Bubba's second at the 5th. He is hitting another big cut. He
:22:35. > :22:38.normally hits a big hook with his irons, but naes not what is required
:22:39. > :22:42.here -- that's not what is required here. You don't always have to be
:22:43. > :22:44.close to the hole here at Augusta, the fans know it. They appreciate
:22:45. > :23:05.that. Kevin Stadler is going along well.
:23:06. > :23:10.Come on down. That could be very nice if it keeps going and turning.
:23:11. > :23:13.No, it is slowing up. A good shot. A tricky putt left. They are all
:23:14. > :23:25.tricky putts. Jim Furyk at the 8th. A fairly long
:23:26. > :23:39.way away. A chance for birdie. A lot of under par scores today. You
:23:40. > :23:43.just get the feeling there is 50 guys that are comfortable and free
:23:44. > :23:52.wheeling and one guy who is nervous, the guy out in front with everything
:23:53. > :23:58.to lose in Bubba Watson. There is plenty of good scores on
:23:59. > :24:03.the front half today, for sure. Thomas Bjorn at the 6th. A big
:24:04. > :24:13.swing. Steady. Steady. Looks good. Oh, what a bonus. What a bonus!
:24:14. > :24:16.APPLAUSE Well, well, well. You never know, do
:24:17. > :24:36.you? Westwood at the 12th. He is going
:24:37. > :24:41.along nicely. He needs to hole a putt or two, Paul? Yes, he needs a
:24:42. > :24:47.couple of the unexpected. Something in the 15 to 20 foot range. It is a
:24:48. > :24:49.very makeable putt here. Probably the easiest green on the course. Oh,
:24:50. > :25:11.that's a lost chance. He knows it. I watched Spieth warm up today of
:25:12. > :25:18.the it is a slightly open stance. The club face is wide open at the
:25:19. > :25:25.top. Beautiful. The release might be thin. He knew it the whole time.
:25:26. > :25:29.That can be a very difficult bunker shot down there depending on the
:25:30. > :25:40.lie, Peter, he won't be able to see but barely the top of the flag. Now
:25:41. > :25:57.Blixt at the 6th. Can he do a Bjorn? He is not doing bad. Oh! Both of
:25:58. > :26:16.them going along very nicely indeed. Well, every player in the field hits
:26:17. > :26:24.practise putts from here to where this hole is cut or where they
:26:25. > :26:28.believe it is cut. Then three days elapses and you have got to do it in
:26:29. > :26:31.the last group. Not a very good effort. The second shot to the 17th
:26:32. > :26:47.for Justin, Justin Rose. He doesn't look best pleased. Has he
:26:48. > :26:49.pulled it or tugged it? Yes. That's left him a very interesting shot
:26:50. > :27:14.from there. Now Bubba. This is for birdie. It is
:27:15. > :27:26.a putt you had to be defensive on. You want to get out of there with a
:27:27. > :27:31.par. He has done that. It is it the 10th. Kevin Stadler. This is a
:27:32. > :27:34.little touchy one down the left side. He is up and after it. It is
:27:35. > :28:00.going right. Rule Henley. A big swinger. He is
:28:01. > :28:05.trying to feed it in. That's perfect, Russell Henley! Oh, those
:28:06. > :28:14.are so nice when they go in. What a scorecard. Look at that. Birdie,
:28:15. > :28:18.birdie, up and down. If the lie is good, this isn't that
:28:19. > :28:30.difficult. Once he gets over it, he can barely see the top of the flag.
:28:31. > :28:39.Easy-peasy! Played it too well. APPLAUSE
:28:40. > :28:50.This is to avoid another three putt. Watch out! Look at it go. It looks
:28:51. > :28:57.dead in, doesn't it? It just moves across. Now he has a three footer
:28:58. > :29:05.coming back. Maybe a four footer. Maybe a meter?
:29:06. > :29:20.A good looking second shot. He didn't quite get up to the green. A
:29:21. > :29:24.shot dropped. Scott with a rough start. He started poorly yesterday
:29:25. > :29:36.and clawed his way back. A chance for birdie here at seven.
:29:37. > :29:43.STUDIO: Ian Poulter wept on one of those charges. Then he turned for
:29:44. > :29:50.home and things got a little bit sticky coming around Amen Corner
:29:51. > :29:54.into 14 and 15. However, he is always game and exciting to watch.
:29:55. > :30:00.Let's get his thoughts. On the face of it, it looks a fine
:30:01. > :30:03.performance, but I suspect it is one that frustrated you today? Yes, you
:30:04. > :30:09.could say that. I'm raging yet again. 70 on Friday, 70 on Saturday
:30:10. > :30:12.and it is not really a true reflection of how I've played. I'm
:30:13. > :30:17.disgusted with the way I finished today. I got myself in a great
:30:18. > :30:21.position, was 4 under for the round and couldn't see myself making any
:30:22. > :30:30.mistakes. I, you know, three putted from the back edge of seven and then
:30:31. > :30:35.pulled a wedge on 12. And didn't take advantage of 13 and 15 when I
:30:36. > :30:40.was in perfect position on both holes and you know, a simple bogey
:30:41. > :30:45.on 14 as well. I'm disgusted with the round of golf which looks pretty
:30:46. > :30:55.good and yet I'm still in position to have a run at the guys tomorrow,
:30:56. > :30:59.but I should have been closer. You are still in a decent position. How
:31:00. > :31:06.realistic is it to think you might intend on Sunday? We will have to
:31:07. > :31:12.see what Bubba does on this golf course. Guys should be able to make
:31:13. > :31:16.plenty of birdies and I would expect him to make quite a few birdies as
:31:17. > :31:22.well. There are holes out there which you can make simple mistakes
:31:23. > :31:25.on but I am going to have to have a run at him on Sunday. Thank you.
:31:26. > :31:36.Good luck tomorrow. After having a good round, you just
:31:37. > :31:48.pick out the spot where you could have been better.
:31:49. > :31:57.Another rough front nine. Justin Rose for his birdie on the 17th. We
:31:58. > :32:07.thought this might be tricky. He is going to have to go very close.
:32:08. > :32:15.A very difficult shot. You can see selected groups, there are a couple
:32:16. > :32:27.down at the bottom which you can watch on the special feeds we have
:32:28. > :32:38.this year. Jordan Spieth. A nice part is saved for speed there. His
:32:39. > :32:52.second shot ended up in the bunker. Bubba At the sixth, 8-iron. An
:32:53. > :32:57.interesting putt to come. There was a Thursday pin position there. There
:32:58. > :33:08.might be a nice one tomorrow as well. Jonas Blixt, almost no chance
:33:09. > :33:13.to get this on the green. He is going to just try and get it on the
:33:14. > :33:17.greenside bunker. He will have to see which he feels is the best to
:33:18. > :33:21.play his next shot from. He is looking straight up. That sounded
:33:22. > :33:43.heavy. The green glove does not really go
:33:44. > :33:50.with the outfit. Ken Green used to wear one. He was colour by --
:33:51. > :33:52.colourblind. His wife used to dress him and she did not like him very
:33:53. > :34:32.much. His ex-wife. Bjorn second shot perfectly placed
:34:33. > :34:34.at the seventh. An aggressive swing. Right by the flag. Will it come
:34:35. > :34:40.back? No. That is a good shot. Rose for his
:34:41. > :34:59.fourth. That was a rather weird putt. A
:35:00. > :35:13.shame so close to home. -- week putt. Just one hole to go. Kuchar
:35:14. > :35:23.from the right of the green. He missed to the right. That has been
:35:24. > :35:29.the bailout. A high tariff shot from Lee Westwood.
:35:30. > :35:51.Executed pretty well, he came down off that downslope. Fiddly.
:35:52. > :36:17.Heading towards the sand. Short putts can be difficult around
:36:18. > :36:20.Augusta. We have had another of
:36:21. > :36:24.correspondence about how the players hit the ball in two cup. A lot of
:36:25. > :36:29.them seem to hit them very bravely but when you get these downhill, you
:36:30. > :36:33.have got a decision to make. You can drop it in the front edge or you can
:36:34. > :36:37.be brave and bullied them in. You just have to ask yourself that
:36:38. > :36:41.question but you have got to make your mind and before you do it. I am
:36:42. > :36:49.going to try and hit this a little softer. The Brave one is, I am going
:36:50. > :36:56.to whack this one in firmly. The trouble is, if you miss it, oh dear.
:36:57. > :37:01.That is what happens. Before you know it, you have got one a bit
:37:02. > :37:07.longer. Standing over these Short putts, you have got to decide, are
:37:08. > :37:12.you going to be brave or you going to drop it in the front door.
:37:13. > :37:18.Neither is easy, particularly when you are feeling nervous.
:37:19. > :37:20.Lots of nerves around here today and here is one such had from Matt
:37:21. > :37:41.Kuchar. It is to drop a shot. Bubba Watson is going to have a putt
:37:42. > :37:54.which is probably going to break 15 feet.
:37:55. > :38:05.Well, an unforced error of the tee. That is going to be all he can
:38:06. > :38:13.handle for par. But he had green in regulation. Jonas Blixt. This is
:38:14. > :38:20.where he went over the back of the sand. Very narrow from front to back
:38:21. > :38:28.and he has done very well. APPLAUSE.
:38:29. > :38:34.That is quite a shot Blixt play from the trees to get there. Westwood is
:38:35. > :38:41.going to have a decision to make year. It is so sticky up the hill
:38:42. > :38:54.and it gets so fast after. Steady. That is really well done.
:38:55. > :39:07.STUDIO: the third day of the Masters, always drama guaranteed in
:39:08. > :39:11.this picturesque corner. One of the most sought-after real estate is
:39:12. > :39:15.anyway in the world. This is going to test your metal around Amen
:39:16. > :39:24.Corner. The beautiful greens around Augusta and the yellow flags. Here
:39:25. > :39:25.is Jamie Donaldson. Some down golf ford Jamie Donaldson
:39:26. > :39:43.today. Started 1-under. That is ten yards further on. Settle
:39:44. > :39:53.down. Stay there. I have a very forceful voice. You will do that out
:39:54. > :40:01.of the water. Well done. That was a good break followed by a bad break.
:40:02. > :40:03.Justin Rose luckily stayed out of the bunker. He is going to loft this
:40:04. > :40:18.in two the air. That releases beautifully at the
:40:19. > :40:28.green and Justin Rose with a chance to close with 68 for the day if he
:40:29. > :40:39.can hold that at. Bubba Watson for a part on the sixth. This could be his
:40:40. > :40:48.first three parts of the tournament. -- three putt. There it is. He has
:40:49. > :40:50.already had three bogeys in his first six holes today. It is all
:40:51. > :41:06.change. Wow. That is some hardware. He
:41:07. > :41:21.needed those trees on the left at seven. He tried to make no worse
:41:22. > :41:27.than a bogey. Lee Westwood. Birdie. Confidently done and Westwood now
:41:28. > :41:37.just four behind Bubba Watson. Things are condensing a little bit.
:41:38. > :41:49.Jordan Spieth, such a nice wedge player. That is going to run off.
:41:50. > :41:56.Stay. Stay. Not a great shot. But a chance for a birdie. He will not be
:41:57. > :42:00.able to ground the club here. He is inside that yellow hazard line. That
:42:01. > :42:04.makes it a little bit more difficult.
:42:05. > :42:20.Good effort. He is trying to stem the tide of bogeys today, Donaldson.
:42:21. > :42:27.A look at Hunter Mahan. Second shot at 18. That sounded good.
:42:28. > :42:36.And it is good. It is really good! A disappointing day for Hunter but
:42:37. > :42:58.that is a nice way to finish. Jim Furyk sneaking along. All the
:42:59. > :43:08.way. Beautifully judged. The red use a different putter last week. --
:43:09. > :43:13.Furyk. This is one hole, he lives to use the driver on this course, Bubba
:43:14. > :43:20.Watson, but seven is the only straight, straight hole year. But he
:43:21. > :43:28.does not feel that comfortable here. But he has the advantage of having
:43:29. > :43:38.so much power. He lives to faded with the driver. It is a great
:43:39. > :43:48.course for him with the driver. Stadler.
:43:49. > :43:58.A good effort. I think Craig is out there watching today after missing
:43:59. > :44:02.the cut. That is Craig Stadler's last Masters this year. He will only
:44:03. > :44:09.be yet to watch Kevin in future. STUDIO: a quick reflection on a man
:44:10. > :44:14.who has already finished. Six birdies including back-to-back
:44:15. > :44:20.at 15 and 16. His best round at Augusta.
:44:21. > :44:27.I saw you walking out onto the first team today and I saw a determination
:44:28. > :44:32.in your right. Did you feel you had 67 in you? It was going to be tough
:44:33. > :44:36.but I have been swinging well and I needed to go out there and eliminate
:44:37. > :44:41.as many mistakes as possible and take advantage of the par fives
:44:42. > :44:46.which I have not done this week. Torgerson through the prospects of
:44:47. > :44:51.contending on Sunday at the Masters. I have not been in contention here
:44:52. > :44:54.and it has been fun to see Bubba Watson all of the big three in the
:44:55. > :45:00.play-off and being there to watch it and be able to support him. I have
:45:01. > :45:04.not been in the situation but I have been around to see it so I am hoping
:45:05. > :45:09.to be in that situation. Good luck tomorrow.
:45:10. > :45:21.Jamie Donaldson back on the 11th. He deserved that. His second shot was
:45:22. > :45:29.pretty tidy. A huge bounce off to the left, nearly in the water.
:45:30. > :45:34.STUDIO: This is the first Masters in almost 20 years without Tiger Woods.
:45:35. > :45:45.Will he go back to Royal Lytham where he won all those years ago?
:45:46. > :46:00.The Irish. Greg Norman, the champion for 1986.
:46:01. > :46:11.He has got it! Those cold black eyes.
:46:12. > :46:21.Would you believe that? He has done it.
:46:22. > :46:26.Royal Liverpool, Tiger recuperating after back surgery. We hope you will
:46:27. > :46:33.be back for that. But for now it is all about Augusta.
:46:34. > :46:43.Beautiful scenes around the course. They are scenes most people will
:46:44. > :46:44.know. It is such a familiar course. Beautiful but deadly, the water
:46:45. > :46:56.around this course. The slopes of this course as well,
:46:57. > :47:02.as you can see from the camera, Lee Westwood standing above the ball.
:47:03. > :47:08.The Augusta National always keeps you off balance and a lot of that is
:47:09. > :47:12.because of the angles. The ball below his feet and often time it is

:47:18. > :47:22.right but I find that most good players headed to the left. -- hit
:47:23. > :47:41.it. Still some work to do. Let's have a look at some facts and
:47:42. > :47:47.figures. A huge number of the over 50s brigade. Fred Couples, the man
:47:48. > :48:01.who is going best of all. 54 years old. Miguel Angel Jimenez, 50 years
:48:02. > :48:14.old now. Hunter Mahan, this is for birdie.
:48:15. > :48:26.Bubba, after the iron off the tee, it is quite a long way back. It is a
:48:27. > :48:32.narrow green from front to back and he has gone long. He let go of that
:48:33. > :48:38.just passed impact. He is not clicking on all cylinders. As I said
:48:39. > :48:42.earlier, it is a lot easier to sleep on the league than it is to wake up
:48:43. > :48:49.with it. Jordan Spieth for a birdie. It is a long way.
:48:50. > :48:53.You can just hear the nerves jangling today. It is the weekend of
:48:54. > :49:10.the Masters. A good round for Justin Rose, 69. A
:49:11. > :49:16.front nine of 1-under and that eagle on 13, a birdie at the 15th, a bogey
:49:17. > :49:24.at the 17th and that is what he is thinking about there. Adam Scott,
:49:25. > :49:32.for over on his round today. The jobs of a birdie and he has got it.
:49:33. > :49:37.-- chants. You can send your questions in on Twitter. When will
:49:38. > :49:46.long handled putter is get banned in the Majors? 2016 is the answer to
:49:47. > :50:00.that. Jim Furyk with the more conventional club.
:50:01. > :50:05.2003 US Open champion in Chicago. He came close here in 1998. He was
:50:06. > :50:18.fourth. You were close that year. I finished
:50:19. > :50:26.three back in 1998. I won't remind you of that. That is OK. You lose
:50:27. > :50:35.sleep over it even when you are that close.
:50:36. > :50:46.That is OK. Short is the big mistake there. Now the magical Bubba
:50:47. > :50:54.Watson, it will require all his skills here. This is very fast.
:50:55. > :51:00.Settle down. That is rolling off. That could go all the way of the
:51:01. > :51:08.green. It is going to stay. That is just an eyelash away from 25 yards
:51:09. > :51:15.short of the green. Looking twitchy. Staring eyes.
:51:16. > :51:20.He has played beautiful golf so far over the first two days. A very
:51:21. > :51:45.different game today. Jordan Spieth. Down she goes, down the hill.
:51:46. > :51:52.STUDIO: An eventful day for Justin Rose. Let's hear from him right now.
:51:53. > :52:00.How well did you play today? I played well today, I am pleased with
:52:01. > :52:08.that. It was a roller-coaster of a round. I got an eagle and the next
:52:09. > :52:13.couple of holes I was trying to settle down. I got in two a good
:52:14. > :52:19.rhythm and made a good eagle at 13. I got a bit lucky at 15, my ball
:52:20. > :52:23.staying at. All in all, a great day, but I felt I had an opportunity to
:52:24. > :52:28.finish at 3-under and that would have been exciting for tomorrow but
:52:29. > :52:34.I am still in it. Torgerson through the chip at three. It is a blind
:52:35. > :52:45.shot from here but I knew I had to keep it right of the pin. That got
:52:46. > :52:49.me up and running. The leaderboard at the condensed at the moment. How
:52:50. > :52:55.do you think your prospects are for tomorrow? I just saw Bubba Watson
:52:56. > :53:00.struggling at seven and going back to five so I am right in it. When
:53:01. > :53:04.you have posted your score, you are always in the hands of the leaders
:53:05. > :53:09.but I am a lot better than I was on Thursday so at least I have got a
:53:10. > :53:15.shout going in two tomorrow. Well played. Good luck tomorrow.
:53:16. > :53:23.At the moment, a lot of players are coming back in two this. Bjorn is
:53:24. > :53:31.right there. I thought that was going to grab there. It is getting
:53:32. > :53:41.so much harder. They have a system underneath the greens that will suck
:53:42. > :53:49.the moisture out of them. Can he save par? The second-round leader,
:53:50. > :54:01.Bubba Watson, steel with a two shot lead. Aggressive. Confident. It just
:54:02. > :54:06.slides by. Ten of the last 12 second round leaders did not win the
:54:07. > :54:10.tournament. Only two of the last 12 have gone on to win. And only a
:54:11. > :54:23.one-shot lead. He was five shots clear. One bogey in the first 36
:54:24. > :54:33.holes. 30 minutes ago, he was five shots clear.
:54:34. > :54:41.He will have watched that shot of Thomas Bjorn's Sony will bounce it
:54:42. > :54:45.in there. There was not much grip to be had and that is still running
:54:46. > :54:50.away. You can see there is a little bit of wind. We thought it was going
:54:51. > :55:00.to lift the two ten mph and it is enough. You can see the difference
:55:01. > :55:03.in experience. Blixt on the right, Bjorn on the left. Stadler. Just a
:55:04. > :55:25.little harder. Lee Westwood, any putt across the
:55:26. > :55:28.14th green is not nice. It looks pretty good. It looks very, very
:55:29. > :55:55.good. That will do. Watch it. No. Interesting how you
:55:56. > :56:05.saw almost no balls go in the water when the hole was on the right side
:56:06. > :56:13.of the green. Donaldson taps in for his part. He remains to over.
:56:14. > :56:28.A par putt for Westwood. That is a fine putt. He is going along nicely.
:56:29. > :56:33.He is right back in this event. He is only three shots of Bubba
:56:34. > :56:39.Watson's lead. We were talking about the wind beginning to lift.
:56:40. > :56:44.The 12th is the shortest hole on the golf course. Today it is about 138
:56:45. > :56:49.yards. But it has been very difficult. It is the second most
:56:50. > :56:52.difficult hole on the golf course. Why is that? Because club selection
:56:53. > :56:58.is so pretty. The wind swirled about. If you look at the 12th, the
:56:59. > :57:02.flag is not moving at all at the moment. I am going to put a couple
:57:03. > :57:08.of relaxing and see what happens. You can see, it just keeps moving
:57:09. > :57:13.around and around. Then you go to a higher level, that is where the ball
:57:14. > :57:19.is going to travel, and see which direction it is moving in. You can
:57:20. > :57:25.see how much stronger the breeze is and how the wind keeps swirling in
:57:26. > :57:28.directions so it is very confusing. When you are aiming at this green,
:57:29. > :57:34.it is only 12 paces wide, over the water, slightness judgement you are
:57:35. > :57:45.going to find the water. Indecision leads to indecisive swings. This is
:57:46. > :58:01.a really tricky hole. -- slightest misjudgement.
:58:02. > :58:09.There is not too much of a breeze today but it is beginning to lift a
:58:10. > :58:13.little bit. Blixt is really a victim of laying out to the right. He did
:58:14. > :58:21.not have any chance to get that third shot close. That is a nice
:58:22. > :58:26.flag. Somebody has asked the question, why don't we see more
:58:27. > :58:34.coloured gloves? White gloves are softer because they don't have the
:58:35. > :58:43.colouring in them. Bubba Watson with the driver. He has driven
:58:44. > :58:51.beautifully the hole tournament. He takes the bunkers out of play. That
:58:52. > :58:53.is a thunderous tee shot. Thomas Bjorn, that third shot of his looks
:58:54. > :58:57.very good. Phil Morgan on the back which is the
:58:58. > :59:37.caddy who was with Ian Woosnam. Jim Furyk at the 11th. That is a
:59:38. > :59:38.pretty good shot. Stay there. Not quite brave enough to get it pin
:59:39. > :59:46.high. Downhill it goes and around the
:59:47. > :00:23.corner to the left. Thomas Bjorn now at the 9th. It is a
:00:24. > :00:33.little more to the right and well, the crowd likes it. Oh, yes, that's
:00:34. > :00:44.perfect. Look at it go. Look at it go! Matt Kuchar putting at the 13th.
:00:45. > :01:09.This is for a birdie. He rattled it in. He is struggling at the 11th and
:01:10. > :01:14.his woes continue. Dropped shots are lurking every
:01:15. > :01:18.where. It is difficult Peter, when you dig a hole here on a Saturday
