:00:00. > :00:00.you. It is 9.30pm at home in the evening. We hope you are enjoying

:00:00. > :00:00.Saturday night at the Masters with us.

:00:00. > :00:17.I know lots of people at home who will be watching the Masters. We

:00:18. > :00:25.heard the news that Ronnie Summery died a few days ago. His company put

:00:26. > :00:35.on the four-ball tournament that we all played in. So the passing of one

:00:36. > :00:41.of the great friends of golf and member of my old club. Rest well old

:00:42. > :00:51.friend and enjoy this one of Bubba's.

:00:52. > :01:00.This is where he is so extraordinary. I mean, it has gone

:01:01. > :01:08.off the green. That deserved better. It deserved a ten footer for an

:01:09. > :02:01.eagle. Up the slope. The hands are close

:02:02. > :02:11.together. A good four at number 9. He is just 20 years of age. Rooky Of

:02:12. > :02:21.The Year last year. Kevin Stadler at the 13th. Oh, that could be very

:02:22. > :02:22.good. Oh, it is stuck up on the top, would you believe it? It is going

:02:23. > :02:47.the other way. Jonas Blixt. There is a lot of areas

:02:48. > :02:58.thaw don't want to miss it. Oh, stay! If it was another two feet it

:02:59. > :03:08.would have been on the little ledge. I think these greens are getting

:03:09. > :03:32.quicker, Peter. Yes, they are. It is almost like putting on chromeium.

:03:33. > :03:41.He is just trying to shape this around the dog leg. That's perfect.

:03:42. > :03:51.Oh, that's ideal. The further down, the flatter the

:03:52. > :03:56.lies. Lee Westwood at the 15th. Fed could finish -- if he could finish

:03:57. > :04:07.1-under. Oh, it is going to be... Oh, oh. I

:04:08. > :04:21.don't know if I'm going to get through this week!

:04:22. > :04:34.Louis Oosthuizen. He is well in range. That's long and just far

:04:35. > :04:40.enough to the right to see around those trees. Now Bubba at the 8th.

:04:41. > :04:46.He hit that magnificent shot through the back of the green. I am afraid

:04:47. > :04:49.this is clumsy chipping. There has been an awful lot of that over the

:04:50. > :04:55.last two-and-a-half days. Whether it is the pace of the greens, I don't

:04:56. > :05:00.know because these fellas usually chip beautifully. There has been

:05:01. > :05:09.hardly any chip shots that I have seen that ended up stone dead. 10,

:05:10. > :05:19.11, 12, you are always happy to go 4, 4, 3. Two long and difficult

:05:20. > :05:27.par-4s. Kevin Stadler legging to putt out of this little gully.

:05:28. > :05:31.Interesting to contrast the style between him and Adam Scott. They

:05:32. > :05:37.have got the converted telegraph poles for putters and one has his

:05:38. > :05:42.hands close together and Adam has his wide apart. Watch when you get

:05:43. > :05:50.the chance chance to have a look at their various different styles.

:05:51. > :05:59.Bubba needs this one just to settle him down. His eyes are beginning to

:06:00. > :06:02.look a bit stary. He has got to keep the pace up otherwise it will slip

:06:03. > :06:16.by on the left. Didn't have the speed to run it in.

:06:17. > :06:23.So only a par after those two magnificent hits.

:06:24. > :06:43.Well, Lee Westwood needs this to get 1 of the leader. A big boomerang

:06:44. > :06:48.putt from right to left. He needs a velvety touch. I swear he only took

:06:49. > :06:58.the putter back about six inches. How about that? Oh. Cruel. The

:06:59. > :07:01.number of times the putt runs right by. That's wonderful. Wonderful. Two

:07:02. > :07:18.putts from there. Donaldson also missed this. It is

:07:19. > :07:24.tricky to judge and he has done it very well.

:07:25. > :07:37.STUDIO: Thing are moving apace. Having had a five shot earlier,

:07:38. > :07:43.Bubba Watson's lead, as we see Jamie Donaldson there. Look at that, Lee

:07:44. > :07:52.Westwood is moving steadily now. He is within sight of the leader. There

:07:53. > :07:57.is Jonas Blixt who has gone to 5-under par. Bubba Watson is not

:07:58. > :08:05.having it all his own way. There is a posse. Back to our leaders.

:08:06. > :08:16.Well, he might hole it this time. He doesn't quite release the putter. It

:08:17. > :08:21.is a slightly nervy one. A big opportunity missed. Well, it is hard

:08:22. > :08:28.to say that because there were t magnificent strikes up on to the

:08:29. > :08:40.green. This was Blixt at the 9th. A long putt up the hill. We hear it

:08:41. > :09:01.went in. It is travelling on a bit. Out in 34. Very nicely done indeed.

:09:02. > :09:16.The Swede lives in Jacksonville Beach.

:09:17. > :09:27.Here is Thomas Bjorn. Well done Thomas!

:09:28. > :09:39.Back at the tee. Hold on to your hats!

:09:40. > :09:45.An amazing looking drive. I wouldn't like my finger between club head and

:09:46. > :09:55.ball when he whacks it! Look at that. You could throw it on the

:09:56. > :10:00.green from there. Disgraceful! I think a lot of folks at home have

:10:01. > :10:10.no idea how hilly this course is. This is the 10th going down the

:10:11. > :10:14.hill. It is Spieth's second shot. The green sort of slopes from back

:10:15. > :10:22.to front and he has not got it up and that will go off. Boy, it is

:10:23. > :10:24.cushltion isn't it? -- cruel, isn't it? There is only a small bit you

:10:25. > :10:38.can land on. The 16th, 155 yards. He loves it. Be

:10:39. > :10:50.right. Oh, another beautiful shot. Cheers from the surrounding crowd.

:10:51. > :10:53.Thomas Bjorn driving at the 10th. A 3-wood just to get a little bit of

:10:54. > :11:00.right to left on it and chase it down the hill. He has drawn it left.

:11:01. > :11:18.It should be OK. Yes, a beauty. Scampering down the hill. A Swede

:11:19. > :11:25.and a Dane tied in the leaderboard at the Masters.

:11:26. > :11:46.Oh, it has gone the other way. Not have easy to work right to left

:11:47. > :11:57.with a driver. That's gone straight. A bit right, Ken. Maybe down the

:11:58. > :12:01.right-hand side. No, he is OK. From the 10th tee to the 10th green is

:12:02. > :12:11.over 100 feet drop. It is hard to believe. Look with Spieth's second

:12:12. > :12:16.shot ended up. At one stage he was on the green by four or five feet.

:12:17. > :12:21.This is something that two-dimensional cameras don't show

:12:22. > :12:31.you. You wouldn't believe it, would you?

:12:32. > :12:42.Up she goes. A good shot. Well done. He is remarkably cool. A really

:12:43. > :12:46.customer. You don't often meet 20-year-olds who are so mature. This

:12:47. > :12:55.time last year, he wasn't ranked in the 200 in the world.

:12:56. > :13:06.Matt Kuchar going steadily. He lost in the play-off last week in

:13:07. > :13:11.Houston. He is a delightful player. A lovely touch.

:13:12. > :13:17.Isn't that a lovely view? No wonder the spectators sit there all day

:13:18. > :13:38.with a packet of sandwiches. Just a whisker. Not much. Not much.

:13:39. > :13:43.Oh, he has over done it. It almost looks as if you are not trying as a

:13:44. > :13:51.result of a putt from 15 feet ends up like that. You give yourself a

:13:52. > :13:57.talking to and it is moments like this that you have got to settle and

:13:58. > :14:02.you get cross with yourself. There was lots of cheering going on. We

:14:03. > :14:09.will catch up with what happened in a minute, no doubt. Bubba on the

:14:10. > :14:14.flat at the bottom of the hill. Not many people can - in fact he is. He

:14:15. > :14:29.play it is a little up the slope and a pin on this central plateau.

:14:30. > :14:43.120 yards. It will end up where Blixt was.

:14:44. > :15:03.Fizzing in, John Senden. That's what the cheer was all about!

:15:04. > :15:11.Oh, a little unlucky. It got squeezed between the pin and the

:15:12. > :15:22.edge of the cup. Back to Westwood. Oh yes! It's good.

:15:23. > :15:25.APPLAUSE Yesterday, this was Rory McIlroy.

:15:26. > :15:30.Now, just watch this. This is the 13th. You talk about luck and luck

:15:31. > :15:34.of the draw. Watch where the ball pitches here. Just on the back left.

:15:35. > :15:38.Look at that now. We think it pitched on the sprinkler head or the

:15:39. > :15:43.back of the slope or something. Ken went down and had a look. He

:15:44. > :15:52.scurried about with his magnifying glass and came up with? Poor old

:15:53. > :15:57.Rory pitched on one of these sprinkler heads. Nearly perfect. The

:15:58. > :16:00.pin today is cut on a back right little plateau. When you are coming

:16:01. > :16:05.from a long-range with the ball above your feet, it is not easy. It

:16:06. > :16:08.is this little ledge, but you have got to be right. Three yards to the

:16:09. > :16:11.left and you trickle off the left side of the green and anything going

:16:12. > :16:15.down the right because that's difficult to get down in two fr

:16:16. > :16:20.there. Anything from short, right, but further right, but just

:16:21. > :16:25.marginally right, the ball trickles off the green. Look at the pace of

:16:26. > :16:28.the putting surfaces. Augusta is about picking your club and choosing

:16:29. > :16:33.where the wind is blowing. If you get it right, you get on a plateau

:16:34. > :16:39.and maybe eagles. If you get it wrong, you are always going to be in

:16:40. > :16:46.three putt country or it is difficult to get down in two.

:16:47. > :16:56.So true that boy. He speaks a lot of common sense. Another big cheer. A

:16:57. > :17:07.bit lacking in cheers the last couple of days. Oh steady, steady!

:17:08. > :17:15.That sounds like a hole in one, Ken. It is something quite dramatic. Oh,

:17:16. > :17:33.it could be Bubba. The 9th hole. It couldn't be Bubba, could it?

:17:34. > :17:49.169 yards to this frontage pin. He got it to land softly.

:17:50. > :18:04.Now Thomas Bjorn. A good look at the flag and the green. Straight at it.

:18:05. > :18:31.He is ooing and ahing. Jordan Spieth. 505 yards, but it is a

:18:32. > :18:36.little downhill. A slighty easier pin today, slightly.

:18:37. > :18:49.Good position. Senden after that spectacular second shot here at the

:18:50. > :19:00.9th. Taps it in. Nine holes completed. Out in 38. A a mixed bag

:19:01. > :19:06.early on wasn't it, fives and sixes? Here is Freddie for a birdie at the

:19:07. > :19:15.11th. Very rare birds, indeed. Oh Freddie gets it. Oh and they love

:19:16. > :19:24.Freddie. They just adore Freddie. We all love Freddie, don't we?

:19:25. > :19:34.Matt Kuchar with one of his hybrid clubs at the 15th. Oh sit down. Most

:19:35. > :19:38.of the players play to the right of the pin here because the green is a

:19:39. > :19:44.bit deeper here. You can see that left side very shallow. He has left

:19:45. > :19:57.himself a wicked little chip there. You need to be a wizard to get that

:19:58. > :20:01.down in two. It is coming up to 5pm in Augusta and it has been the most

:20:02. > :20:07.delightful of days. The last three days in fact, there has been a

:20:08. > :20:12.wonderful temperature, no humidity. Gallacher putting for a birdie here

:20:13. > :20:17.at the 13th. Come on, Stephen. Yes, well done, that's better. A few

:20:18. > :20:34.putts in to ease the pain. The 12th, 138 yards. It made a

:20:35. > :20:45.lovely sound. It is where you aim a little bit right and a little bit

:20:46. > :20:49.long. Safe. Thomas Bjorn. Very fast swinging right to left putt. It

:20:50. > :20:53.speeds up when he gets to the hole, but that looks to be pretty - well,

:20:54. > :21:11.he left himself a tester and that's OK. Don't lose your nerve!

:21:12. > :21:20.His feet are aiming towards that scoreboard. That's unbelievable. It

:21:21. > :21:32.must of had 30 yards of cut on it. Wow. You can't teach that, Peter!

:21:33. > :22:10.Kevin Stadler. He taps it. Robbed. Robbed. Downhill. Joint leader.

:22:11. > :22:16.1,000 yards. We can have another look at Freddie. He has not played

:22:17. > :22:21.this hole too well this year. Two bogeys, two fours on this par-3, he

:22:22. > :22:24.pushed it right. But you saw that before. Probably the flattest green

:22:25. > :22:38.on the course. This was yesterday, Freddie. He took

:22:39. > :22:43.a long time deciding which club. It seemed to be climbing, climbing up

:22:44. > :22:48.into the cloudless sky and then it stopped. There is only two people in

:22:49. > :22:57.the history of the game who stopped the ball on that bank and both times

:22:58. > :23:02.it was Freddie. Let's hear from Ken. I am on number 12, it is five on and

:23:03. > :23:07.five from the left side. One, two, three, four, five. The pin position

:23:08. > :23:12.is kind about there today and this little small portion at the front of

:23:13. > :23:15.the green, anything short may wander back into the water. If you go to

:23:16. > :23:18.the right, you are liable to go into the bunker. If you look at the plan

:23:19. > :23:21.of this hole here of the it is interesting. You mark the pin

:23:22. > :23:26.position. The pin position is about there. You can see how narrow the

:23:27. > :23:30.green is. It is only 14 and 11 through the middle. If you take that

:23:31. > :23:33.flag on and it is so difficult to pick your club anyway, you are only

:23:34. > :23:36.aiming at this width of green. Anything short, left is going to go

:23:37. > :23:40.in the water. Anything right goes into the sand. If you hit it further

:23:41. > :23:44.which a lot of players will, it gives you that width to land in. If

:23:45. > :23:50.you miss the green, there is half a chance of getting down in it two. If

:23:51. > :23:56.you take it on, you have got to be just right. If you just tumble off

:23:57. > :24:03.to the left, which is the danger, the ball, will it, won't it? Will it

:24:04. > :24:14.stop? Won't it stop? There is a bit of moisture on the putting surface.

:24:15. > :24:17.This is the pin, pews full of people. Sorry, got to get it just

:24:18. > :24:26.right. Let's see if Freddie can get it just

:24:27. > :24:35.right. A putt for a two here at the 12th.

:24:36. > :24:45.Good free swing of the putter hand, turning left. Oh, a bit of a

:24:46. > :24:53.dribble, Freddie! Just near enough to be able to bash

:24:54. > :24:58.it in. Well done, Thomas Bjorn. Well, this Augusta weekend is one of

:24:59. > :25:01.many great weekends with us on BBC Sport. There is plenty for everyone

:25:02. > :25:41.in 2014. It is celebration time. The waiting

:25:42. > :25:46.is over! Well, I hope you will take your

:25:47. > :25:50.seats for the remainder of the evening and tomorrow as well where

:25:51. > :25:57.we will have coverage tomorrow. It is so warm, but just a few months

:25:58. > :26:03.ago, it looked like this. In fact, they had an amazing ice storm here

:26:04. > :26:06.for 24 hours. A lot of trees came down including of course a tree on

:26:07. > :26:11.the 17th which changed the character of that hole. So that's missing

:26:12. > :26:16.clearly here, but now, you would never know apart from that one

:26:17. > :26:21.missing tree. It is as but asful and -- beautiful and as serene as ever.

:26:22. > :26:35.There is not much in this putt, but it doesn't make it easy. Oh,

:26:36. > :26:51.Frederick! Back to level par. Oh, this is

:26:52. > :26:55.difficult for Lee Westwood. It has gone past. Such a difficult place to

:26:56. > :27:03.leave yourself there. A lot of people will go over the back. It is

:27:04. > :27:07.so easy to do and it is still going. I just see a bit of freshening of

:27:08. > :27:15.the breeze at the top of the hill here. Right to left. He likes it, I

:27:16. > :27:22.think. Oh, that's a magical shot. A magical shot!

:27:23. > :27:27.APPLAUSE The way he moves that ball about, it

:27:28. > :27:33.is just fantastic to watch so Bubba is back! Thomas Bjorn is narrow

:27:34. > :27:40.looking drive on the 11th now. All those trees they put in. It is a

:27:41. > :27:55.good one. Well, you wouldn't wish this on

:27:56. > :28:00.anybody. He could easily chip this in the water. The fringe is a little

:28:01. > :28:06.bit sticky. It is not going to release. Oh Ah, I don't believe it.

:28:07. > :28:13.I don't believe it. That's as good as you can do. It sat up. Had a bit

:28:14. > :28:24.of a check on it. Fabulous. One of the best shots we have seen today.

:28:25. > :28:37.Jonas Blixt playing alongside Jonas Bjorn -- Thomas Bjorn. Double bogey

:28:38. > :28:48.yesterday. Heading right. Just got to get lucky. I think he is far

:28:49. > :28:56.enough right but the trees thin out the further right you go.

:28:57. > :29:05.Jordan Spieth with his little pitch onto the 11th. It gets a second wind

:29:06. > :29:23.and goes on and on. He is doing exceptionally well. Matt

:29:24. > :29:35.Kuchar to tie the lead. And he does it! Four players tied at the top.

:29:36. > :29:56.Jim Furyk being tested. Hasn't he played that well? It is going to run

:29:57. > :30:01.on. Very nice. Just a shot behind that group who lead the way at the

:30:02. > :30:09.moment. These little pitches where they are just pitching it once so

:30:10. > :30:14.skilful. I said he was a shot behind because if he does roll this one in,

:30:15. > :30:27.the leaderboard is changing so quickly today.

:30:28. > :30:41.Jordan Spieth up the hill at 11 and comes up shy.

:30:42. > :30:51.He has his hands very close together when he grips the putter. That was a

:30:52. > :30:54.wonderful second shot in from other, leaving him just this to take

:30:55. > :31:09.the outright lead. -- Bubba Watson. Beautifully done. A three on the

:31:10. > :31:15.10th for Bubba Watson, only his second birdie of the day. Back in

:31:16. > :31:45.front once again. Well done. It has been a tough day

:31:46. > :31:53.so far for the Scotsman. This course can do it to you so easily. Always a

:31:54. > :31:56.big shot, the second in two the 11th for Thomas Bjorn. One behind Bubba

:31:57. > :32:08.Watson. What a shot from Bjorn! That is

:32:09. > :32:14.hopping and skipping along. That is a lovely shot. Look at that.

:32:15. > :32:21.Augusta, a beautiful place, a cruel place.

:32:22. > :32:29.This is not a time for bold, bold pilots.

:32:30. > :32:36.Where are you going to leave it to give yourself the best chance of

:32:37. > :32:45.getting down in two. He has got to get through the canopy. The crowd

:32:46. > :32:51.like it. That is in the water! Just what you don't want to do. I have to

:32:52. > :32:58.say, that was a little bit of a rocky's play. It was a little bit

:32:59. > :33:06.unlucky, it did have a bad bounce, but it is always possible. Jordan

:33:07. > :33:17.Spieth with a 9-iron to this front left him. Does he go at the flag?

:33:18. > :33:26.Sit down. It is going long, left. He is a drama student. You can watch

:33:27. > :33:32.just this group via special feeds. But that is fine. You can watch

:33:33. > :33:40.Bubba Watson's group, that is also on the website. Or you can watch it

:33:41. > :33:46.with us right now. An Open stance. Bubba Watson is going to give it

:33:47. > :33:58.another mighty swat. He has let it go. He needs a soft bounce.

:33:59. > :34:14.If you want to make a driver like his, you just put 12 layers of grip

:34:15. > :34:20.under one hand and 12-under the other. He has got an enormously

:34:21. > :34:32.thick grip. It is like holding a baseball bat. A very thick grip.

:34:33. > :34:41.He needed another three metres on that and it would have been OK, such

:34:42. > :34:44.are the margins. Jonas Blixt is just having a chat with the referee at

:34:45. > :34:47.the 11th to determine where he drops. Lee Westwood for par on the

:34:48. > :35:02.17th. He will go back to 2-under. Still

:35:03. > :35:07.just four shots behind. He needs to make one or two more putts. He is

:35:08. > :35:22.playing well. Jim Furyk, trying to feed this in

:35:23. > :35:34.from the left. That is just about perfect. Stop. He hit the hole and

:35:35. > :35:40.then... Feet to the right and it wonders of the edge of the green.

:35:41. > :35:46.Back to the 12th. It is going to be a three.

:35:47. > :36:08.I was looking at Lee Westwood's record in 2010 -- 20 11. The only

:36:09. > :36:13.player I could find with higher greens in reparations was Tiger

:36:14. > :36:32.Woods with 59. No! No! What a shot! It is like it look that the hole and

:36:33. > :36:42.thought, I do not like the dark. Well done. That would have been a

:36:43. > :37:04.part. The drop zone at the 11th is 58 yards.

:37:05. > :37:10.There was a tremendous crowd reaction there. It echoes about in

:37:11. > :37:19.the pine trees. Look at it. Nothing like it. Very unlucky for Thomas

:37:20. > :37:26.Bjorn. He is a bit of a demon out of the sand. It should drift to the

:37:27. > :37:32.right a little bit. He did not quite get it right. But you would rather

:37:33. > :37:50.be six or seven feet that way than five feet the other way. He is

:37:51. > :37:57.adding up the hill. -- putting. A long putt for Matt Kuchar.

:37:58. > :38:03.You can see the greens starting to get a burden to them. More and more

:38:04. > :38:20.difficult. Out on the range every morning with

:38:21. > :38:31.his dad might as being his coach, well, since he was born.

:38:32. > :38:42.-- Mike. No one hits the ball more consistently out of the centre of

:38:43. > :38:56.the club than Jim. Fred Couples. He gets under-par again.

:38:57. > :39:05.Well done, Thomas Bjorn. He was a little bit unlucky with his second

:39:06. > :39:07.but he just says his par. He has been around a long while. A lot of

:39:08. > :39:16.experience. He walks up the hill to this amazing

:39:17. > :39:33.spot at Augusta. A little bit further on, the drive

:39:34. > :39:38.of Jordan Spieth just looking to turn it around the corner. The last

:39:39. > :39:43.time he did that at the 12th, it landed 20 feet away, but this is

:39:44. > :39:58.heading way right. It has gone further and further in.

:39:59. > :40:08.Aiming right, trying to work it around the corner of the dogleg.

:40:09. > :40:16.An amazing place, one of the great theatres of sport and year with just

:40:17. > :40:40.a lick of wind, it plays havoc in your mind. Just 138 yards today.

:40:41. > :40:54.It just painted of the down slope in two the bunker. Donaldson to get to

:40:55. > :41:00.1-over. Look at that. Like a slingshot out of the hole.

:41:01. > :41:19.A good angle to get it. Does he get the distance right? You can hear the

:41:20. > :41:27.sound on the greens now as well. They really are firm. Let's see what

:41:28. > :41:30.Bubba Watson can do on the 11th. I can't believe he is drawing it in.

:41:31. > :41:42.He is a brave man to do that. He likes to draw in with the short

:41:43. > :41:54.irons. He just likes to move the ball. Jonas Blixt. You have got to

:41:55. > :42:10.be aware of where the players are. There might be a role on the 11th

:42:11. > :42:18.green. -- roar. There is a buzz. Everyone just hitting it beyond that

:42:19. > :42:22.flag. A slight margin for error. This was Thomas Bjorn's tee shot.

:42:23. > :42:31.Looking to go over the middle of the bunker. That is the safe play. When

:42:32. > :42:37.you think of the great par threes, the dramatic ones, the postage stamp

:42:38. > :42:51.and this 12th. Short par threes, they don't have to be long. A good

:42:52. > :42:52.two putt from Kuchar. He started at even par so 5-under for his round

:42:53. > :43:09.today. Over the Hogan Bridge and you get

:43:10. > :43:10.this corner of the course where it is much quieter, no spectators here

:43:11. > :43:29.at all. Putting of the French, you are never

:43:30. > :43:31.quite sure. It can get top spin or pop in two the air and lose a bit of

:43:32. > :44:22.pace. -- fringe. This could go down very nicely

:44:23. > :44:32.indeed. Birdies on 13 and 14 and a good chance there as well.

:44:33. > :44:42.Lee Westwood, currently tied for ninth. Well done. He wanted a few

:44:43. > :44:47.more of the par fives and he birdied all of them today. Around in 70,

:44:48. > :44:55.2-under and four strokes behind. Not in bad shape. Thomas Bjorn in the

:44:56. > :45:02.bunker at the 11th, a bunker at the 12th. Confident there and

:45:03. > :45:14.beautifully done. The water not too far away.

:45:15. > :45:25.It is about finding his way back onto the fairway. Sits down. Sits

:45:26. > :45:36.down. Grab a chair. Well done from there. There was not much space

:45:37. > :45:41.between the trees. Jonas Blixt just back left at the 12th. That is going

:45:42. > :45:47.and going. A good finish at the US PGA last

:45:48. > :46:09.year, he finished fourth, the Swede. An awkward little pitch there. Fred

:46:10. > :46:32.Couples. 142 yards. Come around. Come around. Here we

:46:33. > :46:34.go, Fred Couples. He is getting himself back in two the thick of

:46:35. > :47:00.things. A chance to go 2-under. The final pairing on the 11th green.

:47:01. > :47:10.As we quickly go to the 16th and Jamie Donaldson.

:47:11. > :47:35.If you are going to leave yourself a 24 putt, this is quite an inviting

:47:36. > :47:42.one. We will have a look at that in a moment but at the 12th, Jonas

:47:43. > :47:51.Blixt for par. You would take three at the 12th everyday.

:47:52. > :47:55.You can see the green in the background, the 11th, and Thomas

:47:56. > :48:15.Bjorn was just looking over. Let's see if Stephen Gallacher can

:48:16. > :48:32.find another birdie. A horrible round for Gallacher. It

:48:33. > :48:39.was all going so well until today. That is how you keep a round going.

:48:40. > :48:45.To sound saves back-to-back. He could easily have dropped a couple

:48:46. > :48:53.of strokes. Fred Couples for his birdie at the 14th. In she goes. A

:48:54. > :48:55.birdie at 13, a birdie at 14. Back where he started, inside the top

:48:56. > :49:14.ten. Lets see how Kuchar plays this. Very

:49:15. > :49:27.well done. He pocketed in the year. -- popped it in the air. This was

:49:28. > :49:36.not in the plan. This length of putt for the par.

:49:37. > :49:47.But it drops and other Watson this week has played Amen Corner very

:49:48. > :49:48.well. He gets going with a par at the 11th and stays one shot in

:49:49. > :50:04.front. STUDIO: What scenes for the man who

:50:05. > :50:09.won the Green Jacket to years ago. This is one of the great sites. It

:50:10. > :50:17.is when we do not see very often, looking back across the water at

:50:18. > :50:27.Golden Bell. Trying to get some right to get some

:50:28. > :50:38.right-to-left on that. That is all right.

:50:39. > :50:47.I watched him of the range this morning and he was absolutely demon.

:50:48. > :51:00.Top-class play. Nudging out with just enough spin. Well done. It is

:51:01. > :51:06.like an upturned wok, that corner of the green.

:51:07. > :51:19.Bubba Watson's turn to face the 12th. It was at this point yesterday

:51:20. > :51:35.where he caught fire. But this is such a risky pain to go straight at.

:51:36. > :51:42.Straight at it he went and right over the top. That is the movement

:51:43. > :51:46.he is getting. You can see he's swung in with the iron, bringing it

:51:47. > :52:03.from left-to-right. A little bit unlucky. He got a soft

:52:04. > :52:08.bounce. But just far enough around the corner to get a view of the

:52:09. > :52:21.green. Green glove. I am not sure about that. All the way around the

:52:22. > :52:29.corner, and to the green. The leaderboard as it stands. That man

:52:30. > :52:42.there on 3-under par, Jordan Spieth, with a chance to go to for.

:52:43. > :52:57.-- four. It is one of those downhill is where you have to decide whether

:52:58. > :53:09.to hit it firm. That was a cracking finish from Lee Westwood. 73, 71,

:53:10. > :53:18.70. 2-under. Second at the 15th for Jim Furyk. Not a long hitter but far

:53:19. > :53:23.enough today. Going straight at it, low, flat flight, I have got my

:53:24. > :53:33.fingers crossed for you. I don't think he quite caught that. There is

:53:34. > :53:44.a hurdle there. Jim Furyk going along so well.

:53:45. > :53:56.Stephen Gallacher on the 16th. Just trying to salvage this round.

:53:57. > :54:11.Masters experience to this point has been very good but he has been heard

:54:12. > :54:24.today. -- hurt. Donaldson, moments ago. Keeping himself just in there.

:54:25. > :54:30.STUDIO: This is Lee Westwood's 34th major Championship and there was a

:54:31. > :54:31.couple that got away on the home run but everyday has been getting better

:54:32. > :54:41.and better here. 2-under for the tournaments, what

:54:42. > :54:46.the overriding emotion? I played really solidly. I said yesterday I

:54:47. > :54:53.wanted to play the par fives better and I played them 4-under par which

:54:54. > :54:57.is very good. I gave myself a lot of birdie chances and I was a bit

:54:58. > :55:01.unlucky on the greens. You are one of the country's favourite golfers.

:55:02. > :55:06.The amount of people who want to see Lee Westwood win the big one. You

:55:07. > :55:12.are in contention, what would it mean to you? The person who wants to

:55:13. > :55:17.see Lee Westwood win the major before -- more than anyone else is

:55:18. > :55:20.Lee Westwood. The most I can do is put myself in two contention and I

:55:21. > :55:24.will be there or thereabouts after today, depending what the others do,

:55:25. > :55:30.and see how it goes. Try and get off to a good start tomorrow and play

:55:31. > :55:54.the front nine properly. All the best tomorrow.

:55:55. > :56:06.Just the quietness of the 12th green. Bubba Watson played a brave

:56:07. > :56:12.shot, two in a row, 11th and 12th, drawing over the water.

:56:13. > :56:23.As the pressure mounts, it gets harder and harder to release the

:56:24. > :56:30.club to hit back drawer. Only 1-over for the day.

:56:31. > :56:41.A great looking birdie year at 12. This green has been a little bit

:56:42. > :56:47.slower than the rest. Players have been leaving it short from here.

:56:48. > :57:19.It is a strange place down there on the 12th because you are so far away

:57:20. > :57:27.from the crowd and the spectators. Jonas Blixt standing below the ball.

:57:28. > :57:35.It happens so often. We were talking about this yesterday. Sometimes you

:57:36. > :57:41.expected to come around more from right-to-left than it does. I think

:57:42. > :57:47.it is one of the big misnomers but when the ball is above your feet,

:57:48. > :57:59.good players miss to the right. Watch Jordan Spieth's legs. Watch

:58:00. > :58:07.this. There it is. He has let go of three in a row. Such nice footwork.

:58:08. > :58:13.That is hit either really thin wall on the heel. Some top-quality

:58:14. > :58:18.flouncing after his shots so far. Some of them have been quite good.

:58:19. > :58:28.Let's see what Thomas Bjorn does with this. Where is this one going?

:58:29. > :58:34.It is the same mess. It is unbelievable. But it is such a

:58:35. > :58:40.difficult shot to hit it in there. So he is in the water, Jonas Blixt

:58:41. > :58:45.is in the water. It is beautiful here this morning. It is one of the

:58:46. > :58:50.great holes on the golf course of the it is a dog leg from right to

:58:51. > :58:54.left. The fade, the left to righter, you only need three times, if you

:58:55. > :58:57.can draw the ball as a right-hander, you have an advantage, you can turn

:58:58. > :59:01.it around the corner of the dog legs. If you are a lefty, the thing

:59:02. > :59:07.is a bit different. This is perhaps why they have done so well. For a

:59:08. > :59:11.left-hander, hitting the same shape, but it is the cut shot and the ball

:59:12. > :59:14.tends to land softer of the it is easier to control. As a right

:59:15. > :59:18.hander, the ball tends to run. Perhaps hitting that little shot

:59:19. > :59:22.around the corner for lefties, Bubba Watson, who can hit it a long way,

:59:23. > :59:27.may have given him an advantage. Perhaps? Who knows, that's the

:59:28. > :59:38.theory, but they've done well, the lefties.

:59:39. > :59:46.Zblrch Matt Kuchar. Again that hard bounce of that top level. When the

:59:47. > :59:56.ball is abo you, as high as 18 is, it is uphill. It is hard -- harder

:59:57. > :00:01.to hole the green. This looks right at it. Is it

:00:02. > :00:17.enough? Oh boy. This could be really good.

:00:18. > :00:26.Yeah, it will keep feeding. A wonderful shot. Back to the 13th and

:00:27. > :00:32.for Bubba, it is a big fade. Oh my goodness. Where is this going?

:00:33. > :00:41.It is going miles down there. It is huge. It is 70 yards past where

:00:42. > :00:51.Blixt was earlier. That's just enormous. Look at this 13th hole,

:00:52. > :00:56.Paul. It is the most beautiful par-5 in golf and the most entertaining.

:00:57. > :01:04.The tee is way behind us and there is no gallery. None of the patrons

:01:05. > :01:10.are allowed around there. The second is played from a side. For Bubba,

:01:11. > :01:16.the ball will be below his feet. There is so much trouble around the

:01:17. > :01:26.green. As we saw with Bjorn and Blixt. Back on the 18th, Matt Kuchar

:01:27. > :01:30.this. Is good. -- this is good. A wonderful shot and still it will go,

:01:31. > :01:36.he couldn't do much better with that and that's not finished. That's

:01:37. > :01:48.outrageous. I mean that was not - that was a

:01:49. > :01:53.good looking shot. How could you play that? Well, you know, it is

:01:54. > :01:56.just one of those things. You get it over this green and it is so

:01:57. > :02:02.delicate. You have to be so nifty to get that close now. Fourth after

:02:03. > :02:10.going into the water. Plenty of green to work with, a hop, skip and

:02:11. > :02:20.a jump, put a little bite on it. Well done. A chance to save par.

:02:21. > :02:28.Furyk after he found the water with his second, the fourth shot.

:02:29. > :02:37.APPLAUSE Down it comes. Still that to save

:02:38. > :02:54.par. Got to get on top. It's OK. Stay!

:02:55. > :02:58.Yes. Not great, but a chance for par as well.

:02:59. > :03:10.Just suddenly things look better for Bubba. The challengers are flapping

:03:11. > :03:15.around a bit. Furyk for par. One goes for Furyk. When you think how

:03:16. > :03:19.quickly things happen on the front nine today and a long way to go with

:03:20. > :03:22.the rest of today and tomorrow. At start of the day, there was only one

:03:23. > :03:27.player who was extremely nervous and that would be Bubba Watson. The rest

:03:28. > :03:31.are trying to catch him. I suppose, Senden had butterflies as well, but

:03:32. > :03:35.the guys starting out were relaxed knowing that they were doing the

:03:36. > :03:41.chasing. Matt Kuchar after what looked like a good shot, Andrew,

:03:42. > :03:51.way, way down the green now. Putting back up the green for par. Oh.

:03:52. > :04:01.That's not bad news and he knows that. That was racing. He gets a

:04:02. > :04:11.bogey on the final hole for Matt Kuchar. He dropped two shots behind

:04:12. > :04:16.Bubba Watson who is in fine fettle on the 13th. It is a very, very good

:04:17. > :04:22.round for Matt Kuchar. Three birdies, no dropped shots. Bogeyed

:04:23. > :04:39.the 11th and the final hole, but three birdies in there as well, a

:04:40. > :04:44.fine round of 68. He had to... That's the old Pam Watson speed.

:04:45. > :05:08.155 yards. A putt for Blixt on the 13th to save

:05:09. > :05:16.par. So he will slip back a bit. Just beginning to ebb away from

:05:17. > :05:29.Bubba. Bjorn with that par putt to come.

:05:30. > :05:38.Jamie Donaldson putting across the green at the 17th.

:05:39. > :06:14.Jordan Spieth, a good birdie. A big putt for Thomas. Well, they both

:06:15. > :06:18.went for it and they both walk away with 6. Watson doesn't know what

:06:19. > :06:27.putts were for, but he is in good shape. Freddie Couples is in good

:06:28. > :06:32.nick on the 15th. He is slightly on the up slope here, you see the three

:06:33. > :06:38.pines in the background. You want to shoot it at the middle pine and try

:06:39. > :06:43.and draw it if you can. That's a miss. Freddie swung it way out to

:06:44. > :06:49.the right. Oh, he swung it back and that's actually OK. Stay off the

:06:50. > :06:57.fringe. That will be so difficult. So difficult. Furyk up the slope on

:06:58. > :07:17.the 16th. Very, very nicely judged. I think

:07:18. > :07:22.with the course getting firm as well, that suits Jim Furyk. He is

:07:23. > :07:29.that kind of player that can tough in the really hard conditions. It

:07:30. > :07:38.gives him a bit of extra distance. Bubba's second shot at 13. Oh Oh,

:07:39. > :07:48.what a shot! Oh, a little unlucky. Oh, that stopped fast. That will

:07:49. > :07:53.drift away. Nice effort for Bubba Watson. I believe 13 and 15, Andrew,

:07:54. > :08:00.are really going to be the indicators of how the players feel.

:08:01. > :08:18.That was a huge drive for Watson there. I remember that dual with

:08:19. > :08:23.Bernhard Langer. Donaldson now for par at 17. Well

:08:24. > :08:26.holed. APPLAUSE

:08:27. > :08:36.Three over for his round today. He is still inside the top 20. He is

:08:37. > :08:40.alongside Adam Scott. Well, Freddie played a little shot from just off

:08:41. > :08:59.the green. It has been a fascinating afternoon.

:09:00. > :09:06.Bubba Watson has been leaking shots, but seem to have steadied himself

:09:07. > :09:12.and has re-established that two shot lead ahead of Matt Kuchar, but he

:09:13. > :09:16.will settle for 68. Justin Rose made good progress today. Lee Westwood is

:09:17. > :09:20.also within striking distance perhaps tomorrow. Gary Woodland had

:09:21. > :09:24.an eventful time of things and finished with a round of 69 and Rory

:09:25. > :09:28.McIlroy was the first out on the course this morning. He came home

:09:29. > :09:36.with a 71. He is some way behind now.

:09:37. > :10:00.Thomas Bjorn claters one away: The next tee shot is always difficult

:10:01. > :10:09.after you have bogeyed a par-5. Bogeyed a par-5. Blixt. The fairway

:10:10. > :10:16.slopes from left to right. That's a big, big hit from Jonas Blixt. He is

:10:17. > :10:20.up the left side. I am not a big angle person, Andrew, but this is

:10:21. > :10:27.one hole where angle does make a difference. You would want to be on

:10:28. > :10:33.the right side. Senden clawing his way back. He is just three over for

:10:34. > :10:44.the day. That's fantastic. A great touch for Senden. A sure birdie. And

:10:45. > :10:53.Jordan Spieth, three on this hole yesterday. Hang. Hang. Come on, keep

:10:54. > :11:10.left this time. He is shouting instructions. . . Again, the angle

:11:11. > :11:13.is sometimes a bit deceptive. Freddie's birdie putt on the way.

:11:14. > :11:20.Will it reach? The second shot went just about three yards too far. He

:11:21. > :11:32.was forced to flop it from a foot off the green.

:11:33. > :11:50.Stephen Gallacher. He missed his save par.

:11:51. > :11:56.The challenge here is going to be speed for Bubba. He has got to go up

:11:57. > :12:00.the hill and on to a flat that actually will taper away a little

:12:01. > :12:15.bit. So it is up hill and then ever so slightly downhill. But more flat

:12:16. > :12:21.on top than downhill. Bubba actually leads the tour and proximity of the

:12:22. > :12:22.hole in his lag putting. Let's see if he can get the speed right here.

:12:23. > :12:35.This is for eagle. He just misjudged that badly. That

:12:36. > :12:41.looked like... It looked like he mis-hit it actually. It is not a

:12:42. > :12:47.putting stroke that convinces you, is it? It is not conventional. Even

:12:48. > :12:54.when he won a couple of years ago, he missed several putts inside six

:12:55. > :12:59.feet. He won by a wide margin and he putted well, but he has got more

:13:00. > :13:07.confidence. He lengthened his putter. He has it counterbalanced.

:13:08. > :13:11.He put more weight in the tip of the putter. He says technically, he

:13:12. > :13:28.feels way more sound. Two seconds and a first this year.

:13:29. > :13:35.No. . It never had a chance. His second three putt of the day. His

:13:36. > :13:39.second three putt of the week. What a waste. What a waste. But he is

:13:40. > :13:51.feeling it today, there is no doubt about that. It He remains two shots

:13:52. > :13:56.clear. There is a pattern as well, Andrew. All the putts are short.

:13:57. > :14:00.Always, I know, that from personal experience, when I wasn't

:14:01. > :14:05.comfortable, I left putts short. And that's what is happening to Bubba

:14:06. > :14:09.here. This was short up the hill on 13 and you could just see the way

:14:10. > :14:14.the putter flopped around after the hit. He mis-hit that a bit. That's

:14:15. > :14:22.the pattern. When you are not comfortable, he is a little nervous,

:14:23. > :14:30.but OK so far. Still a shot clear. 25 putts through 13 holes. Freddie

:14:31. > :14:33.is trying to get the maximum space on this 16th to get the angle to

:14:34. > :14:53.right to that front right pin. It is a beautiful swing. It is a

:14:54. > :15:05.pretty descent shot as well. Thomas Bjorn's second to the 14th. It has

:15:06. > :15:10.to go left of this pin. We haven't seen many miss right. He knew

:15:11. > :15:13.straightaway. That ball would have continued on another five to six

:15:14. > :15:32.feet. Blixt now. He missed that to the right as well.

:15:33. > :15:44.And that will drift way, away from the hole. Who knows when that will

:15:45. > :15:49.stop? Back to Jordan Spieth. He a swing, but not much he could do. How

:15:50. > :15:53.far back is he going to lay himself? We talked about it, the problem with

:15:54. > :16:01.having to lay up here is you are almost inevitably on a down slope.

:16:02. > :16:07.It makes that shot, very, very difficult.

:16:08. > :16:16.Talking about Senden and the recoil. He will hold his finish. Of course,

:16:17. > :16:22.on a short putt like that. The recoil is when he makes contact, he

:16:23. > :16:27.pulls the putter back instead of holding his finish. A nice birdie at

:16:28. > :16:31.13. Bubba Watson looking edgy on the greens perhaps, but everyone else

:16:32. > :16:34.having their problems as well as of late. Matt Kuchar with a bogey to

:16:35. > :16:40.finish, but still a 68 and that early, early 66 of Miguel Angel

:16:41. > :16:47.Jimenez puts him in good shape as does the 67 of Rickie Fowler and Lee

:16:48. > :16:51.Westwood four shots behind. If Bubba comes back a little bit

:16:52. > :16:56.more, more players will come back into it. Here is just a few of the

:16:57. > :17:01.others, Justin Rose, he was a bit frustrated after his finish. Ian

:17:02. > :17:06.Poulter frustrated after his. Rory McIlroy, 71 today. Adam Scott, two

:17:07. > :17:19.over for the tournament after 14 holes. He has gone backwards today,

:17:20. > :17:24.a big surprise that. Spieth uably the most difficult shot in golf and

:17:25. > :17:31.that's -- arguably the most difficult shot in golf. That's well

:17:32. > :17:48.played. Nerves of steel. Couples for two on the 16th.

:17:49. > :17:56.He will stay 2-under. APPLAUSE

:17:57. > :18:00.Matt Kuchar we talked about that unfortunate bogey on the last, but a

:18:01. > :18:06.good round. 68 for Matt Kuchar and he is talking to Rishi.

:18:07. > :18:10.Matt, tell us how well you played today? Nice, steady golf. I have

:18:11. > :18:13.been on good form. It is nice to continue it here. This is a place

:18:14. > :18:18.you want to come in on good form. You better be on good form. The

:18:19. > :18:22.course is so challenging particularly around the greens. I

:18:23. > :18:26.drove it well. I was in a lot of fairways and the approaches was

:18:27. > :18:30.critical. Being able to control the ball coming in was critical and I

:18:31. > :18:35.played good, steady golf today. What about the chip at 15? It look as if

:18:36. > :18:41.you had an impossible task? That's one of my best chip shots of my

:18:42. > :18:45.life. It could not be any better. It was a risky shot. I tried to take it

:18:46. > :18:49.to the green with spin on it, if it doesn't come off, it could go in the

:18:50. > :18:54.water. I just had to laugh it came off. I couldn't do that again with

:18:55. > :18:59.20 tries! Is tomorrow the day? I hope so. I

:19:00. > :19:03.have been playing good golf and I'm hoping to build on it and continue,

:19:04. > :19:06.it has been a talk of the conversation and have a chance come

:19:07. > :19:10.late on Sunday. It will be a fun day of golf tomorrow. Best of luck

:19:11. > :19:14.tomorrow. Thank you. A lot of people favouring him before

:19:15. > :19:19.the tournament. He is in good form and just two behind. Adam Scott,

:19:20. > :19:21.that sums up his day. I thought he was going to be right up there at

:19:22. > :19:24.the end of the day. was going to be right up there at

:19:25. > :19:30.the end of the Well, he got off to a bad start yesterday and another one

:19:31. > :19:44.today. He hasn't been able to claw back. Donaldson at the 13th.

:19:45. > :19:54.Blixt, a long putt, for birdie on the 14th.

:19:55. > :20:04.A lot of people were saying Henrik Stenson when is he going to become

:20:05. > :20:14.Sweden's first man to win a Major, but it might be Blixt. Let's see how

:20:15. > :20:17.this ends up. He has just driven it fabulously well and long. That is

:20:18. > :20:24.just ideal. Thomas Bjorn has dropped out of that

:20:25. > :21:18.sprinkler head. This young man is just 20. This is

:21:19. > :21:25.for birdie on the 15th. Has it right the way in the middle. Jordan Spieth

:21:26. > :21:29.gets one back and moves to 5-under. He is alone in second place behind

:21:30. > :21:37.Bubba Watson. What a player. What a talent. Well, that's after missing

:21:38. > :21:49.the birdie on 13. He comes right back. Bubba Watson, a real birdie

:21:50. > :21:55.opportunity here for Bubba. Oh, he has not hit it far enough.

:21:56. > :21:57.That's going to go away. When will it stop? It has gone. It will be

:21:58. > :22:12.down there where Blixt was. Let's see if you can reach on that

:22:13. > :22:16.one. That will take all his nerve. Donaldson now for bogey to finish

:22:17. > :22:18.up. OK. APPLAUSE

:22:19. > :22:25.Yes, he and Stephen Gallacher were in great shape coming into the thi

:22:26. > :22:33.round, but Gallacher has been worse, but hard work for Jamie Donaldson

:22:34. > :22:38.today. STUDIO: It has been a tough old

:22:39. > :22:42.battle out there for the Welshman. Good playing on his second visit. We

:22:43. > :22:47.would like to you share your views on the action today. You can comment

:22:48. > :22:53.on the BBC Sport Facebook and the best comments will be used in the

:22:54. > :22:56.live text commentary on the BBC Sport website. Please feel free, it

:22:57. > :23:01.is always great to hear from you. It has been a fascinating afternoon and

:23:02. > :23:05.it abouts been to-ing and fro-ing. Jordan Spieth is only 20. He is the

:23:06. > :23:10.youngest winner of the Masters with Tiger Woods who is 21 in three

:23:11. > :23:16.months. Jordan doesn't turn 21 until July this. Is an extraordinary

:23:17. > :23:24.performance from this young man. John Senden has been battling his

:23:25. > :23:28.way. He is 2-under. We have seen the other English players have come in.

:23:29. > :23:33.Adam Scott really struggled today. He was many people's pick to launch

:23:34. > :23:35.an assault this weekend, but it hasn't turned out that way. Back

:23:36. > :23:51.live we go. Very surprised by that. Adam Scott

:23:52. > :23:54.5-over today. Watch this putt. It is a good 20 feet to break. Perfectly

:23:55. > :24:13.judged. It is fondly remembering those times

:24:14. > :24:18.as he si this up. We will go to Jordan Spieth. 9-iron on the 16th

:24:19. > :24:26.and that's going to go down. Just looking at the debutants. The last

:24:27. > :24:34.time a new boy won was back in 199, it is rarely -- 1979 of the it is

:24:35. > :24:38.rarely done. It is hard, but he can certainly win. Part of the reason it

:24:39. > :24:41.is hard is because it is so complex here. The greens and knowing where

:24:42. > :24:47.to hit it. For example, just a hole like number 2, knowing you need to

:24:48. > :24:50.be 30 yards of the flag or the green even. Bubba Watson all the way up

:24:51. > :24:56.the hill. He has come up short. Badly short. The last three putts.

:24:57. > :25:13.This isn't short. I bet he wishes it was. That will be a tricky one.

:25:14. > :25:20.Thomas Bjorn is ready to smash it down the 15th.

:25:21. > :25:27.He will going for it. Well, it is a big tee shot. It is a critical tee

:25:28. > :25:35.shot, the 15th. You know if you can put it on the fairway, you can get

:25:36. > :25:51.there in two easily. Now Blixt. Well, he lost that left. It will be

:25:52. > :26:07.an automatic lay up for sure. That's the way things stand at the moment.

:26:08. > :26:18.It is an American dominated leaderboard.

:26:19. > :26:21.That will stick so something good for Adam Scott.

:26:22. > :26:35.APPLAUSE Stephen Gallacher on the film hole.

:26:36. > :26:45.Let's -- final hole. Let's see if he can finish with something good.

:26:46. > :26:53.Now Bubba with this scary little rascal. He just touches it. That's

:26:54. > :27:06.just perfectly stroked. Perfect speed. OK. Under par on the second.

:27:07. > :27:13.Going nicely. Thomas Bjorn on 15. Oh, it sound add little bit --

:27:14. > :27:20.sounded a little bit fluffy. It could be OK. No, that's in the

:27:21. > :27:26.water. Just sound add little bit as if he forgot to take the head cover

:27:27. > :27:35.off! You get a real indicator of how the

:27:36. > :27:40.players are feeling on 13 and 15. Just a slight mis-hit on either of

:27:41. > :27:46.those two holes and it will cost you. Jordan Spieth now. His ball

:27:47. > :27:50.rolled all the way down. He has got to putt it up the hill. This is one

:27:51. > :27:54.of those putts. You know experience and having played here in the past

:27:55. > :27:59.is beneficial, but this is his first trip here to Augusta National. He

:28:00. > :28:04.certainly would have practised this. Just get the speed right. Actually,

:28:05. > :28:08.there is more to it Peter than just the speed, because it has quite a

:28:09. > :28:12.bit of swing to it as well. It certainly does and if you go racing

:28:13. > :28:24.it by four or five feet, it is a little bit of a horror coming back.

:28:25. > :28:27.He is in a slightly different spot than I thought he was. He needs to

:28:28. > :28:41.get the speed right. He has done it quite beautifully.

:28:42. > :28:43.Just a little more. That is a good putt from down there, accompanied by

:28:44. > :28:49.birdsong. 15th, Jonas Blixt. He is only the

:28:50. > :29:37.second Jonas I have ever known. That was a little slider as well, he

:29:38. > :29:41.did not give it the full Monty. Bubba Watson holding onto the lead

:29:42. > :29:46.by one. Bubbling up for a good day tomorrow. I don't think it is going

:29:47. > :29:51.to be as low scoring as we have had over the years. We have not had that

:29:52. > :29:56.many scores under 70 in three full days.

:29:57. > :30:21.It has been a rough day for Stephen. For double bogeys on his card. Those

:30:22. > :30:36.three holes in a row. Unrelenting, Augusta.

:30:37. > :30:45.One of the few scores over 80. It was one of those days.

:30:46. > :30:58.Thomas Bjorn. That has got some spin on it but not quite enough. Coming

:30:59. > :31:05.down the slippery slope of the green.

:31:06. > :31:13.16th, Adam Scott for a birdie and in desperate need of something. Is it

:31:14. > :31:18.going right? Yes, it never looked right. He has had one of those days,

:31:19. > :31:32.Adam. Very interesting, these two,

:31:33. > :31:34.wandering along, chatting on the way. I wonder what they are talking

:31:35. > :32:12.about. Adam Scott. These are always awkward on these

:32:13. > :32:18.tight lines of the green. You make the right sound. Egypt through it

:32:19. > :32:41.but it skidded on that second and third bounce. -- he hit. Striding

:32:42. > :32:50.down the fairway, 300 plus yards. This would be a fine moment to...

:32:51. > :32:57.No. I thought it was. The 17th and Jordan Spieth. We have lost the

:32:58. > :33:13.Eisenhower Tree. Yes, it looks quite different. We have got plenty of

:33:14. > :33:20.trees that both sides. -- up. Night comes very quickly year. Here we go.

:33:21. > :33:26.I don't think there is even a scar in the ground. About there,

:33:27. > :33:32.somewhere. You can see the trees lining each side of the fairway. One

:33:33. > :33:37.thing about this course, unless you are dead against a tree, you can

:33:38. > :33:41.scuttle one out and move it along. But it is the greens that are the

:33:42. > :33:50.killer. Big slopes, tremendously fast.

:33:51. > :33:56.Jonas Blixt, downhill, left-to-right.

:33:57. > :34:14.Sweetly done. He is going along very well. Very well indeed. A nice

:34:15. > :34:21.little settlers there. 18th, Jim Furyk.

:34:22. > :34:46.John Senden, how brave is he going to be? 212 yards. He has gone to the

:34:47. > :35:03.right. He has got the familiar long chip

:35:04. > :35:10.and run down the green. I wonder how far Bubba has launched its down

:35:11. > :35:32.here. 325? Goodness knows what he's going to hit here.

:35:33. > :35:40.That was brave. If you go at that sort of angle, the green is only

:35:41. > :35:51.about 15 pieces deep. It was an extremely aggressive shot. -- paces.

:35:52. > :35:57.There is one of those beautiful birds. I have no idea what they are.

:35:58. > :36:08.They have got a good crest on them. Taking in the sun. They don't seem

:36:09. > :36:15.to mind people. Snappers. Terrapins. They grow in two big monsters. He

:36:16. > :36:47.looks quite wise, it doesn't he? This is a sucker's pin, really. If

:36:48. > :36:53.you go at it and go over the back of the green, it is tricky to get down

:36:54. > :37:00.in two. The wind always swirls here. It is difficult to pick it.

:37:01. > :37:29.Jim, a little fortunate. A guard at the hole. Bernhard Langer fritters

:37:30. > :38:10.so few strokes away. He is from Sweden. I wonder if he

:38:11. > :38:15.can play on the Ryder Cup team. I don't know if he is a member of our

:38:16. > :38:23.association. If he is, he can be picked. Jim Furyk.

:38:24. > :38:33.That was for a par. Now, Thomas Bjorn.

:38:34. > :38:44.Such good lines in his swing. A nice little straightforward. Delightfully

:38:45. > :38:48.played by Thomas Bjorn. He did not turn the ball much but he always

:38:49. > :38:57.seems to start the ball on the target line. Curtis strange used to

:38:58. > :39:11.do that. Now, the monster chip and run. He has got a lofted club. There

:39:12. > :39:30.she goes. That is goodbye, isn't it? Going right and moving on.

:39:31. > :39:37.A lovely swing. If you are a youngster and you want to copy some

:39:38. > :39:45.body, this is a good one to follow. Perfect centre.

:39:46. > :40:17.Bubba electing to play a little bump in two the ill and hope for the

:40:18. > :40:26.best. -- hill. You have got to be so careful on that one. Steady as ever,

:40:27. > :40:38.Jim Furyk. A tidy round. Three bogeys, two birdies.

:40:39. > :40:51.It is a little tighter at the top. Bubba leads by one.

:40:52. > :41:00.This is a side hill that if ever there was one. First of all, we will

:41:01. > :41:04.go back to the 17th. No we are not, we are shooting around a bit today.

:41:05. > :41:20.I don't know what is happening to our American friends today. But here

:41:21. > :41:37.we are. Jordan Spieth. Keeper. -- keep up. Senden, and zeal for a

:41:38. > :41:44.birdie. -- and the hill. He has always been a steady striker. He

:41:45. > :42:05.remains in the hunt, the man from Brisbane, Australia. 2-under.

:42:06. > :42:23.Bubba coming down the hill. This for a birdie.

:42:24. > :42:33.Only a five after that massive drive and a very good-looking second shot.

:42:34. > :42:37.He ends up taking three to get there. He has left one or two

:42:38. > :42:49.short, six inches short, today. Could be. Yes, Sir! Perfect speed.

:42:50. > :43:12.That has evened things up. Just watch this tiptoe in from the

:43:13. > :43:14.right hand side. It looks as though it has gone past the hole and then

:43:15. > :43:46.just turns left. You are a Freddie fan, aren't you? I

:43:47. > :43:52.always said years ago, in a previous world, he had been a black labrador.

:43:53. > :43:54.When his hearing was not delightfully white. He has got that

:43:55. > :44:05.kind of face. Just finding it a little bit of a

:44:06. > :44:11.struggle, Freddie, on one or two holes, but he is still hanging on

:44:12. > :44:19.for a good price. Since he has turned 50, he has finished fifth --

:44:20. > :44:27.six, and 11th in the Masters. That is pretty 11th -- impressive, isn't

:44:28. > :44:35.it? He is another one with a very good touch around the greens. I

:44:36. > :44:37.would be very disappointed with him if he does not get this within four

:44:38. > :44:50.or five feet at worst. Pitching wedge. 155 yards for Bubba

:44:51. > :45:20.Watson. He keeps leaving himself these

:45:21. > :45:24.awkward little shops. It is a tricky one, through a valley. But again,

:45:25. > :46:08.right over the flag. The opening three rounds, subpar.

:46:09. > :46:13.Fuzzy Zoeller and Larry Mize. The years fly by, don't they? Can you

:46:14. > :46:32.believe it is 1979 since Fuzzy Zoeller one. -- won. That is in the

:46:33. > :46:36.woods, isn't it? STUDIO: We thought the Scandinavian

:46:37. > :46:40.challenge had become a little watered-down but Jonas Blixt is not

:46:41. > :46:44.going away and this is a man who is only playing in his third major

:46:45. > :46:51.Championship. He was a tie for fourth at the US PGA. And now he is

:46:52. > :46:55.tied for second place. The Scandinavian challenge is still very

:46:56. > :47:01.much alive, as it is for many of these men. 13 of them under-par at

:47:02. > :47:08.this point. Steve Stricker virtually part time these days. It is great to

:47:09. > :47:13.see him at the Masters again. Gonzalo Fernandez-Castano almost a

:47:14. > :47:19.shoo-in for the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles in the autumn. There is

:47:20. > :47:31.the slimline Darren Clarke. 73 today. Thongchai Jaidee. Francesco

:47:32. > :47:36.Molinari. And Larry Mize, a former Masters winner. That is how it

:47:37. > :47:54.looks. Bubba at the 16th and just giving it

:47:55. > :48:08.a nudge. He is just making very hard work of it at the minute.

:48:09. > :48:18.Always awkward from there, going through a little valley. You would

:48:19. > :48:23.like to picture but it is delicate. The 16 has told many a story. Jimmy

:48:24. > :48:33.Walker has not had the greatest of days. He could be pitching this. He

:48:34. > :48:36.is, I think. And doing it very well. A little bit of speed. That is a

:48:37. > :48:52.good shot from there. Freddie giving this his full

:48:53. > :48:55.attention. This for a par four. Just keep it inside the hole. As long as

:48:56. > :49:05.it has got a little bit of pace. Choose from down the left it will

:49:06. > :49:12.miss, not hard enough it will dribble right. And it is in. Well

:49:13. > :49:21.done, Freddie. Striking a blow for the Zimmer frames. 73.

:49:22. > :49:26.I watched him warming up on the practice ground this morning and he

:49:27. > :49:45.is a marvellous player to watch. Ever popular.

:49:46. > :49:52.This is a little sneaky one, this. It is still sliding. A horrible one

:49:53. > :50:11.he left himself. But he has opened the door. Very

:50:12. > :50:12.much so. He has been edgy today. All the nice thoughts of six hours ago

:50:13. > :50:18.have melted away. But he is still there. He has been

:50:19. > :50:36.unlucky a couple of times. This is Sandy Lyle's spot. Trying to

:50:37. > :50:48.get out of the sand. He was strong as an ox. A good strike, I am sure.

:50:49. > :50:56.That would be good for tomorrow. That is where the flag will be.

:50:57. > :51:02.Traditionally down the bottom right-hand side. He did well. That

:51:03. > :51:29.must have just carried over the lip. The youngest Masters. Oh to be 21

:51:30. > :51:37.again. That is a powerful three. In your prime you could have done it.

:51:38. > :51:42.STUDIO: Jim Furyk was a runner-up at the last major at Oak Hill in the US

:51:43. > :51:45.PGA Championship. Jim Furyk always there or thereabouts and he is

:51:46. > :51:52.coming back in two it again as the man who won the US Open in 2003. It

:52:01. > :52:08.bit of an Asti finish. -- nastily finish. He has not really enjoyed

:52:09. > :52:13.his time over the last few months and told reporters recently he has

:52:14. > :52:15.been using a sports psychologist. I am sure he has put him in a very

:52:16. > :52:27.good state of mind. How satisfied with a 72 are you? How

:52:28. > :52:31.you feel when you come off a golf course has a lot to do with how you

:52:32. > :52:42.finish. I have a big smile on my face. I am a little disappointed

:52:43. > :52:45.with two bogeys at the end. It is something I have to get on with and

:52:46. > :52:52.I have got myself in a good position for tomorrow. For some reason we

:52:53. > :52:55.feel that way. 72 is a good score. I looked from about the hour ahead of

:53:00. > :53:29.of luck tomorrow. Another rumour. -- boomer. Tomorrow

:53:30. > :53:32.is building up in two a very good package because there will be at

:53:33. > :53:46.least eight or ten players in with a shout.

:53:47. > :54:01.Good shot. It has got to come in from the heavens to stop that

:54:02. > :54:11.quickly. Great crowds are beginning to move

:54:12. > :54:29.away from the course. Good putt. He has been very nicely

:54:30. > :54:35.today since going in two the water at the 11th. At the 13th he did

:54:36. > :54:48.exactly the same thing. He drove in two the trees.

:54:49. > :54:54.Jim Furyk said something very true there. If you finish well, you are

:54:55. > :55:04.in a much happier frame of mind when you come off. If Jordan Spieth can

:55:05. > :55:10.to put from here, you should be thrilling his weight had to the

:57:46. > :57:55.He got off to such a slow start, didn't he? The double bogey at the

:57:56. > :58:01.fourth. Out in 40. And if you don't make the most of the par fives

:58:02. > :58:17.coming back, you are going to end up doing what he has done.

:58:18. > :58:25.APPLAUSE Well done. A terrific effort. The

:58:26. > :58:33.crowd rise too. It is pretty new to me. Well, he is new to all of us,

:58:34. > :58:39.but he has that stoic look. He just seems to have it all together and

:58:40. > :58:45.nice swing to boot. Quite the touch as well.

:58:46. > :59:03.Over to 17. Bubba Watson. He would need to be pretty brave to get it

:59:04. > :59:13.pin-high here. Be careful, Bubba. Another big draw. Yes! Well, that's

:59:14. > :59:21.understandable. A healthy aggression and that's what you want. You don't

:59:22. > :59:28.want to be crazy here. Can Bubba get a good enough first putt? He has

:59:29. > :59:34.struggled a bit on the greens today has Bubba Watson. He hasn't quite

:59:35. > :59:42.had his touch. Maybe a little nervy. Let's look at Fred Couples' card.

:59:43. > :59:47.Freddie Couples is with Rishi. One over for the day. 1-under for

:59:48. > :59:52.the tournament. What position do you feel you are in? I have to tell

:59:53. > :59:55.myself I am in an OK spot. You know, I played some good shots and I

:59:56. > :59:59.played some poor shots. You know, the poor shots were just, you know,

:00:00. > :00:08.you can't make pars and the best shot I hit all day was on 17. I had

:00:09. > :00:14.a perfect 8-iron and I went two or three yards too far and I trickled

:00:15. > :00:20.over the hill. The position I'm in is a good one because I feel like I

:00:21. > :00:24.hit the ball well and one good round tomorrow maybe can scare them, but

:00:25. > :00:29.it would have to be an awfully, awfully good round. I'm satisfied

:00:30. > :00:35.with how I played. The one caristic needed to din the Masters on Sunday?

:00:36. > :00:41.Well, you know, if the weather is like this, it will be just playing

:00:42. > :00:48.good shots. You don't have to, you know, try and hit shots which you

:00:49. > :00:51.are not capable of hitting. There are key holes. You have to get off

:00:52. > :00:55.to a good start. You have to get a good drive on 2. We know that stuff,

:00:56. > :01:01.but there are 16 other holes you have to worry about and whether it

:01:02. > :01:05.is Bubba or Jonas or Jordan Spieth, and if I get rolling early, you have

:01:06. > :01:11.to pay attention what you are doing and the golf course is playing so

:01:12. > :01:16.hard and all the good scores a earlier. Matt Kuchar played good

:01:17. > :01:19.rounds, but it will be tough for everybody. I hope you get rolling

:01:20. > :01:25.early. You will be fun to watch! All right, thank you.

:01:26. > :01:31.If Fred Couples does win, it will be the most popular win in golf since

:01:32. > :01:38.1986 when Jack won the Masters here. So true, yes. An amazing

:01:39. > :01:43.achievement. Bubba, don't leave yourself one of those, Bubba. He

:01:44. > :01:47.can't reach. When you get a little nervous, you just can't reach. It is

:01:48. > :01:54.a terrible feeling. He feel handcuffed.

:01:55. > :02:00.Dush you feel handcuffed. 175 yards.

:02:01. > :02:09.He needs to fly it on the top. I don't think he likes it much. Oh, it

:02:10. > :02:14.is back down the slope. He looks like he will come back and play a

:02:15. > :02:21.few in Europe because he wants to make the Ryder Cup side. It would be

:02:22. > :02:27.nice to see him. The Ryder Cup is coming up. Tom Watson is waptain. --

:02:28. > :02:35.captain. It should be another good one. Thomas Bjorn just a moment ago.

:02:36. > :02:50.Yes. APPLAUSE

:02:51. > :02:55.He is looking up. Senden. Just a few feet closer than Bubba. Well, you

:02:56. > :02:59.have to be bold to get it past the hole there, I'll say that. The putt

:03:00. > :03:04.coming back wouldn't be too desirable, but you would like to

:03:05. > :03:13.roll it up there. Now, Bubba will be facing another little tester. It is

:03:14. > :03:19.a hard location. Just pin high on either side. It runs all the way off

:03:20. > :03:24.the green. The players know that and they just play safe. Zblu know you

:03:25. > :03:26.can't go -- you know you can't go over. Bubba played a good approach

:03:27. > :03:47.shot. It is much more mental than

:03:48. > :03:50.technical today for Bubba. Dead centre though! Well holed!

:03:51. > :04:06.APPLAUSE 32 putts he had so far today.

:04:07. > :04:08.Looking the Masters app which has all the information anyone would

:04:09. > :04:38.ever want! A couple of youngsters, Blixt and

:04:39. > :04:51.Spieth. They are saying hello to the world.

:04:52. > :04:59.Not a whole lot to this, I don't think. The challenge here is to get

:05:00. > :05:03.the speed. Zbleu I suppose a little tier is three feet, maybe more in a

:05:04. > :05:24.hollow and then you go up the tee and it levels out at the top.

:05:25. > :05:39.Oh, he will be very pleased with that. It should be a par. 1-under

:05:40. > :05:44.par 71 for Jonas Blixt. He is just one shot off the pace.

:05:45. > :06:19.APPLAUSE The patrons looking down on the 18th

:06:20. > :06:32.green. Thomas Bjorn after a superb second shot.

:06:33. > :06:39.These last three holes haven't given many birdies away, but a par for

:06:40. > :06:47.Thomas. APPLAUSE

:06:48. > :06:53.73. Promised a bit more today, Thomas Bjorn, but steady. He is

:06:54. > :07:07.still very much in the picture. Here is Bubba cracking one up the 18th

:07:08. > :07:17.Boom! Flirting with the woods. I think that clattered into the tree.

:07:18. > :07:22.STUDIO: This is the other Jordan Spieth 5-under. Remember, it is only

:07:23. > :07:28.his third major as a professional. So confident and so in control.

:07:29. > :07:32.Let's hear jord Jordan's thoughts. How much did you have to hold your

:07:33. > :07:40.nerve today? A lot. Even from early on, my first tee shot, I was a

:07:41. > :07:44.little too pumped up. Yeah, I mean all in all, it was a day about

:07:45. > :07:50.controlling the nerves and trying to stay as patient as possible and I'm

:07:51. > :07:56.really surprised at how well I did it compared to other tournaments and

:07:57. > :07:59.being in not this position, but at least similar positions of being

:08:00. > :08:04.near the top of the leaderboard the first couple of rounds. Today, was

:08:05. > :08:08.the best kind of mental game I have ever had and I will need a better

:08:09. > :08:12.one tomorrow. It is every golfers dream to be in contention, you are

:08:13. > :08:18.doing it at your first go, how do you deal with that? I just, maybe it

:08:19. > :08:22.is because I don't have to think as much. Maybe, it is easier for me

:08:23. > :08:26.because, you know, I haven't seen balls roll off the greens as much. I

:08:27. > :08:30.mean, I don't know. I couldn't tell you. It's a great position to be in.

:08:31. > :08:36.I feel very comfortable on the greens which is most important. And

:08:37. > :08:43.you know, if I can get that driver back to where it was on Thursday, my

:08:44. > :09:30.iron play is better now. Jordan, well done. Thank you.

:09:31. > :09:38.The final pair are coming up the 18th hole. It has been a fascinating

:09:39. > :09:41.three days. It is not over yet, but very nearly it. In some ways, I

:09:42. > :09:45.don't know what to make of it because the weather has been

:09:46. > :09:51.perfect. A little bit of wind blowing, but you could hardly say it

:09:52. > :09:55.has been treacherous. I suppose the speed of the greens, the crustiness

:09:56. > :09:58.of the greens, I just wonder why it is when these players come and play

:09:59. > :10:04.in our Open Championship if the greens are hard, there is lots of

:10:05. > :10:11.complaints, "Oh, the greens are hard." Here, it is a different

:10:12. > :10:20.mindset. But the scoring hasn't been anywhere near as good as it has been

:10:21. > :10:27.over the last 30 or 40 years. Bubba is anxious to find his ball. He got

:10:28. > :10:33.it. He has the ball in hand. He wasn't using the old trouser leg

:10:34. > :10:39.trick, was he? I think he is a long way back for him with his driver. He

:10:40. > :10:44.has hit a tree there. Well, it just disappeared. Did you see it? It must

:10:45. > :10:51.have clattered in the trees. Did you notice he had a bottle of water

:10:52. > :11:25.there? A Masters bottle of water? Well,

:11:26. > :11:33.scoreboard. He is down there at the tenth fairway. Bubba is in the

:11:34. > :11:41.middle of the 18th fairway. Oh, I see, he is coming up from the

:11:42. > :11:45.10th fairway. Well, if he gets this on the green, it will be a good shot

:11:46. > :11:53.because he has to come in over the right hand bunkers, the right right

:11:54. > :12:17.of the green, 210 yards, 206 yards, up hill.

:12:18. > :12:39.Thump it and hope for the best, I feel. The best he can hope for is

:12:40. > :12:42.front left of the green because he knows he can't get at that pin with

:12:43. > :12:52.that bunker. That's a good shot from there.

:12:53. > :13:10.APPLAUSE Nothing quite the look of Augusta

:13:11. > :13:13.with the sun going down and the shadows lengthening and somewhere

:13:14. > :13:19.over on the correct fairway is Bubba!

:13:20. > :13:40.You see he has got nearly 200 yards to go. Probably a little 8.

:13:41. > :14:02.Oh. Hello! Fore. Oh, missed everybody. Off the toe. Not bad.

:14:03. > :14:12.What do you make of this one then, Ken? Just watch where the ball

:14:13. > :14:26.starts. Yes. It started left of the bunker. Left of where it finished.

:14:27. > :14:29.Amazing action. Fore. Don't try that at home, children without a nurse in

:14:30. > :14:48.attendance or a net! STUDIO: Jonas Blixt, we got a shot

:14:49. > :14:56.of him. It is Peter Hanson who holds the best result for Sweden here at

:14:57. > :15:02.the Masters. He will challenge tomorrow. One under today. How

:15:03. > :15:09.mentally strong did you have to be? It looked very tough. The greens are

:15:10. > :15:16.definitely firming up and gaining a lot of speed. It is really quick

:15:17. > :15:20.now. You know, it's a major so you know you are going to go through

:15:21. > :15:25.these mental struggles at times, but you have to struggle away and

:15:26. > :15:28.sometimes when the ball doesn't go where you want it, you have to

:15:29. > :15:33.forget about it. You know everybody is going to do something like that.

:15:34. > :15:36.It is what it is. You have been in the mix in a major before. You said

:15:37. > :15:41.after that, you would be ready for the next time. Are you ready for

:15:42. > :15:48.tomorrow? Well, tomorrow will tell! You know, the more experience I get

:15:49. > :15:54.in the majors, the better fr me and hopefully -- for me and hopefully I

:15:55. > :15:56.can pull it out tomorrow, but otherwise I gained a lot of

:15:57. > :16:01.experience this week and I hope I can come back next time. We wish you

:16:02. > :16:06.all the best of luck tomorrow. Thank you.

:16:07. > :16:16.So back to Bubba. Moving chairs and getting the shadows out of the way.

:16:17. > :16:22.That's a straightforward shot, Ken? He is just far enough not to have to

:16:23. > :16:41.contend with the tee as it goes through the green. He is below the

:16:42. > :16:45.pufrting surface -- putting surface. A lot more players will be involved

:16:46. > :16:48.tomorrow. It is extraordinary when they talk about equipment is better,

:16:49. > :16:55.the golf course is better. It is prepared better. The players are

:16:56. > :17:01.fitter. Yet, it is not showing in the scoring and the golf course is

:17:02. > :17:06.set-up almost too difficult. Maybe that's just an old fella's opinion

:17:07. > :17:10.which I'm entitled to! It is interesting how he is preparing to

:17:11. > :17:21.play this one. He is going to float it in the air. He is going to use

:17:22. > :17:28.the natural loft of the club. I don't see many pitch and runs now,

:17:29. > :17:34.Ken? No. I think Mickelson started that getting balls to stop quickly.

:17:35. > :17:35.Well, it is the quality of lie and the modern ball you can zip it.

:17:36. > :17:52.Let's see what he can do here. Just a bit too much speed.

:17:53. > :17:57.Everything else was right. But he just struggled around the greens. He

:17:58. > :18:02.is usually so good getting up and down in 2. He has just gone through

:18:03. > :18:09.a couple of greens and missed a couple and hasn't got down often in

:18:10. > :18:16.2. Nothing he does is convention, is it? It was very unusual how he

:18:17. > :18:19.played it. He didn't miss it by much. He just drops the club on the

:18:20. > :18:28.back of the ball steering it forward to keep it low and running. He knows

:18:29. > :18:33.he hasn't been too successful on the greens today. He left himself one of

:18:34. > :18:39.those. Let's see what John Senden can do with his shot? He can do

:18:40. > :18:44.something not too good. Well, he maybe hoping... That might have been

:18:45. > :18:52.well thought out, but it is not going to come back. Now you look

:18:53. > :18:57.silly if it sticks! APPLAUSE

:18:58. > :19:02.It may well be that Jordan Spieth leads alone if Bubba Watson can't

:19:03. > :19:05.hold that putt for par. I think we are talking about Jonas Blixt if he

:19:06. > :19:09.can play in the Ryder Cup, he has got to play 13 European tournaments

:19:10. > :19:14.to be a member of the European Tour, but he says it is on his agenda. He

:19:15. > :19:22.wants to play in the Ryder Cup. He lived for a long time in the States.

:19:23. > :19:33.It could be very interesting looking Ryder Cup team on both sides with

:19:34. > :19:40.the new people playing. It will be at the end of September up at the

:19:41. > :19:53.Gleneagles Hotel up in Perthshire, a bit of God's country.

:19:54. > :20:01.As the sun gets lower and lower, if there are imperfections on the

:20:02. > :20:06.green, you start to see the graze or spike mark and you start to ask

:20:07. > :20:15.yourself questions - is it going to roll truly? He started 7-under par.

:20:16. > :20:23.He is 5-under and he is tied for the lead. He sometimes has that look as

:20:24. > :20:32.if he is about to make a parachute jump. Or cry!

:20:33. > :20:49.Senden for a par-4 at the final hole and he hasn't hit it. You can see

:20:50. > :20:51.Bubba coming around. It would be easy for Bubba to miss this on the

:20:52. > :21:10.right. This is for # 74. It is a right

:21:11. > :21:14.edged putt. It needs the right pace, Ken. If it is not enough it will

:21:15. > :21:19.dribble off. If it is too much, it will catch the edge and spin away

:21:20. > :21:29.about five feet. It looks like he is going to give it a bit afrun. -- of

:21:30. > :21:39.a run. Perfect speed. APPLAUSE

:21:40. > :21:46.Four dropped shots, but an eagle and a birdie and a dropped shot on the

:21:47. > :21:49.inward nine. Senden finishing off.

:21:50. > :21:57.APPLAUSE A a mixed bag. All sorts of bits and

:21:58. > :22:18.pieces, but tomorrow is another day. Well, Bubba does things his own way.

:22:19. > :22:22.He is in the lead, albeit without a three shot cushion. He has company

:22:23. > :22:29.with Jordan Spieth. They will be the last pairing out in the final round

:22:30. > :22:33.of the 7th playing of the Masters. Let's see confirmation of the

:22:34. > :22:37.leaderboard. Bubba is right up there with Jordan Spieth who is

:22:38. > :22:45.threatening to break Tiger's record as the youngest Masters champion.

:22:46. > :22:53.Tiger was 21. Jordan Spieth won't be 21 until July.

:22:54. > :23:00.Matt Kuchar's nearly man record could be in danger. So many

:23:01. > :23:04.possibilities for tomorrow. It is not inconceivable with 13 men within

:23:05. > :23:10.five shots of that lead, but somebody could jump out of the pack.

:23:11. > :23:13.Stranger things have happened at Augusta. It has been an
