:00:25. > :00:29.On tonight's Late Kick Off: Down again - what next for Darlo? Boro's

:00:29. > :00:34.man from down under on how injury nearly drove him home. Yfrpblgts do

:00:34. > :00:37.I want to be injured all the time in England, when I could be injured

:00:37. > :00:46.in Australia? Down to the wire, Carlisle's play-off hopes take a

:00:46. > :00:56.hit. Hello everybody. Welcome to another

:00:56. > :01:08.

:01:08. > :01:12.programme, joining Danny Mills and Delighted to welcome the Newcastle

:01:12. > :01:17.United defender Steven Taylor. On the weekend when your old team-mate

:01:17. > :01:22.Andy Carol gets that goal that almost certainly guarantees

:01:23. > :01:26.Newcastle European qualifications, because the two FA Cup finalists

:01:26. > :01:31.will qualify. Half the team were watching it in the restaurant. We

:01:31. > :01:37.were nervous with Everton starting so well. Second half they seemed to

:01:37. > :01:42.just defend. The amount of times I saw Jelavic by himself. Andy's done

:01:42. > :01:46.us a favour really. Do you see this season coming, could you see the

:01:46. > :01:50.form coming is it shock within the dressing room that you've done so

:01:50. > :01:54.well this season? It's good to see because a lot of media guys were

:01:54. > :01:58.eating their words. When we were in America and in pre-season,

:01:58. > :02:03.everybody had us written off to be involved in the relegation battle.

:02:03. > :02:08.As players, we had a small squad, but I think team spirit has shown

:02:08. > :02:14.through and has got us where we are today. Fly in the ointment is your

:02:14. > :02:20.own lack of involvement. Achilles, that's, put your leg up, let's show

:02:20. > :02:26.people. That's that bit there. That actually snapped. Some people

:02:26. > :02:29.won't know. I didn't know I had a pelvis until I did pilates on

:02:29. > :02:35.holiday. I thought only ladies d. It snapped in the game against

:02:35. > :02:41.Chelsea? It did. I was running back wards and felt a Big Bang. I looked

:02:41. > :02:44.behind and I thought I was kicked in the calf but a horrible feeling.

:02:44. > :02:49.The ankle goes floppy and there's nothing you can do apart from

:02:49. > :02:53.hobble off the pitch and get my physio to tell me, yeah I think

:02:53. > :02:56.you've ruptured your achilles. It's a painful one. That moment must be

:02:57. > :03:01.the worst for a footballer, when he knows he's out for the season and

:03:01. > :03:10.when he knows he has that huge pile of recuperation to do. It must be

:03:10. > :03:16.awful. Yeah, it took about two days to get the operation. About two

:03:16. > :03:20.weeks after, I think that's when it kicked in, because I knew how much

:03:20. > :03:23.rehab, early 7.30am until 3pm. It's very difficult. You have to be

:03:23. > :03:29.positive. It's happened now. Forget about it and move on. No point in

:03:29. > :03:32.crying about it. Where are you with it, what is the plan to get you

:03:32. > :03:37.back? The plan is to be back training with the physios and

:03:37. > :03:41.before the end of the season, so when the lads finish, I'll be

:03:41. > :03:45.joging around the pitch. I'll be frustrated but at least I'm out

:03:45. > :03:49.there. You have to be that bit of sunshine. That's a long season.

:03:49. > :03:53.They give me two weeks off out of the six, I ain't too bad. I'll

:03:53. > :04:02.settle for that. I'm pleased. Saturday really summed up recent

:04:02. > :04:05.life as a Darlington supporter. A glimmer of hope then disaster,

:04:05. > :04:09.relegation from the Blue Square Premier was confirmed in the

:04:09. > :04:12.cruelest manner. In the last ten minutes they threw away the lead

:04:12. > :04:18.against bath City. But the very existence of the football club is

:04:18. > :04:21.everybody's major concern. It's a family. We're proud to be a

:04:21. > :04:27.member of this family. It's in the a Premier League club. It's our

:04:27. > :04:31.club. It's our town. There will be tears if we go down. I don't know

:04:31. > :04:35.what we'll do with ourselves. Certainly won't support another

:04:35. > :04:39.flipping football club that's for sure. The day of reckoning for

:04:39. > :04:49.Darlington, 17 matches without a win an 18th would confirm what's

:04:49. > :04:53.been coming for a long time. - the dreaded drop. The focus is the next

:04:53. > :04:57.90 minutes. Across in the boardroom, it's about ensuring the club, which

:04:57. > :05:04.went into administration last December, has some kind of future.

:05:04. > :05:08.A fans' company has been formed, the aim is to raise around 500,000,

:05:08. > :05:12.enough to take them out of administration. I'm just a fan. I

:05:12. > :05:16.wouldn't want this club to go down any more than any other fan would,

:05:16. > :05:19.but if we go down, we can get up again. If we go out of business

:05:19. > :05:23.that's a different case. Board is hoping to take them out of

:05:23. > :05:31.administration in a couple of weeks, but it's tight. If they don't get

:05:31. > :05:36.it sorted by June, they'll drop not one division, but two. May 2 is the

:05:36. > :05:42.date put aside by the administrator to make sure that all goes well.

:05:42. > :05:46.There's a 28-day cooling off period then. There's been elements

:05:46. > :05:49.happening totally outside of our control that have dramatically

:05:49. > :05:53.delayed everything. There's a very good chance that we will be

:05:53. > :05:57.successful. I'm very hopeful. I know we've got to raise some more

:05:57. > :06:00.money. We have business proposals to put together and for investment

:06:00. > :06:05.in sponsorship, and I'm hopeful and quite confident that we will raise

:06:05. > :06:10.the money needed. We're old hands at this. This is our third

:06:10. > :06:15.administration. People are helping us. We've got the town behind us.

:06:15. > :06:21.Maybe not all of it, but a lot of it. Supporters are backing the

:06:21. > :06:27.fundraising effort in many ways. do the sponsored bike ride to raise

:06:27. > :06:31.funds for Darlington football club supporters club. We did 150 mile

:06:31. > :06:37.walk from Darlington to Lincoln. We raised just over 1,000 for the

:06:37. > :06:42.club. Others are buying shares at 100 each. That's lovely. Thank you

:06:42. > :06:45.very much. My son's 14. This is his third administration he's seen. For

:06:45. > :06:52.a 14-year-old supporter that's in the a good record. Hopefully if we

:06:52. > :06:57.take it forward as a community club, we won't be in this position again.

:06:57. > :07:01.The dreadful season has been the ultimate test of fan loyalty.

:07:01. > :07:06.matter which league we're in next year, I'll be here. No matter what

:07:06. > :07:11.league, Darlington's in, I will support them. I've supported for

:07:11. > :07:21.years. I'm not going to stop just because they get relegated I think

:07:21. > :07:21.

:07:21. > :08:14.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:08:14. > :08:24.a nice comfortable 2-0 win today. They're two up with seven minutes

:08:24. > :09:03.

:09:03. > :09:08.to go, it a win would keep them The result sums up the last six

:09:08. > :09:12.months. We've been going down for a long time. All I wanted the boys to

:09:12. > :09:17.do is to ensure we went down with a fight. We done that. There's a lot

:09:17. > :09:22.of boys who I'm immensely proud of, because they've been paid scraps

:09:22. > :09:25.since November last year. They have more to look after. Them boys could

:09:25. > :09:30.easily have walk add way. Like myself, they've stuck it out. We've

:09:30. > :09:34.seen it through. We got the ending that we all feared but prayed

:09:34. > :09:39.wouldn't happen. I ain't going to criticise anybody or anything

:09:39. > :09:45.that's gone on. It's just a hugely disappointing afternoon for the

:09:46. > :09:50.club, but it was inevitable. Well talk about snatching

:09:50. > :09:53.relegation from the jaws of victory, where on earth does this leave

:09:53. > :10:00.Darlington? It leaves them in a really precarious situation.

:10:00. > :10:03.There's a meeting at the end of June, at the annual meeting f. They

:10:03. > :10:09.haven't come out of administration by then, there's a chance they

:10:10. > :10:14.could drop into the northern Premier League. Teams like Matlock

:10:14. > :10:18.Town, that would be a disaster. An automatic relegation because

:10:18. > :10:22.they're still in administration. It's a dire situation, from where

:10:22. > :10:25.they were in the Football League a few seasons ago. Then it becomes

:10:25. > :10:28.self-defeating f. You're playing at this level, clearly we hope by the

:10:29. > :10:32.time that conference meeting takes place at the beginning of June,

:10:32. > :10:37.that Darlington have sorted themselves out, if they don't, you

:10:37. > :10:41.can only imagine the supporter numbers that will come to that

:10:41. > :10:46.enormous white elephant of a stadium, which we're still back to.

:10:46. > :10:52.At that level, you'd be lucky to get 200 fans in to watch a game.

:10:52. > :10:59.You'd get more than that Danny. not sure you would. The fans are

:10:59. > :11:03.more loyal than that. Will they watch Matlock Town? It's not going

:11:03. > :11:07.to happen. You'll have more stewards than fans in the ground.

:11:08. > :11:10.They will have a stand each. It's desperately difficult. Give us a

:11:10. > :11:14.perspective on what the dressing room would be like? You must be

:11:14. > :11:18.able to smell the demoralisation when you've gone 18 games without a

:11:18. > :11:21.win, I mean and all that's been going on around them as well.

:11:21. > :11:25.I think. So the conference knocks it out of you. When we were

:11:25. > :11:29.relegated, we were getting defeat after defeat, as a team there's

:11:29. > :11:33.arguments amongst themselves. There's the blame game. I think

:11:33. > :11:37.bigger characters have to come out and step forward and help the young

:11:37. > :11:40.lads out. I don't know what's gone wrong with Darlington. I mean, yeah

:11:41. > :11:44.it puts your injury in a bit of perspective when we watch the

:11:44. > :11:49.players there talking about not being able to afford to pay their

:11:49. > :11:52.mortgages and worse. Absolutely. I was in athe situation when I was on

:11:52. > :11:56.loan at Wycombe Wanderers and getting the chance to play when I

:11:56. > :12:00.was 17 years old and seeing the lads when we got beat. They were

:12:00. > :12:03.nearly crying because they weren't on big wages, but they had the eyes

:12:03. > :12:08.on their bonuses. They weren't getting it. It was a massive thing.

:12:08. > :12:11.I understand it's a sad time for them. For a football club and the

:12:11. > :12:18.stadium there, I remember playing against them pre-season last year,

:12:18. > :12:22.it is a very sad. Speaking of putting things in perspective, I

:12:22. > :12:25.spent some time with the former Middlesbrough defender Gary

:12:25. > :12:29.Parkinson for a Five Live documentary. He suffers from locked

:12:29. > :12:33.in syndrome, which means he can see, hear and understand everything

:12:33. > :12:37.that's gone on around him, but he is completely paralysed apart from

:12:37. > :12:41.being able to communicate by blinking. The feature is on the

:12:41. > :12:46.iPlayer for another three days look for Five Live broadcast on April 12.

:12:46. > :12:49.It's worth a listen, apart from anything else to hear his truly

:12:49. > :12:59.inspirational wife. Can you find Late Kick Off on the iPlayer as

:12:59. > :13:01.

:13:01. > :13:10.Still to come: A history test for Williams, can Aussie star Reese

:13:10. > :13:17.remember Boro's form at soccer roos? Viduka? Is there one more?

:13:17. > :13:23.Well you have upset a lot of Carlisle fans, I'm talking of James

:13:23. > :13:28.Beret goal. Somebody called Brendan Rogers unhappy with your sneering

:13:28. > :13:31.comment about that and they want an apology from you. No, if that

:13:31. > :13:36.cannot be the best goal they've scored in the last three, Four

:13:36. > :13:40.Seasons. I've scored better goals than that for goodness sake.

:13:40. > :13:45.for Carlisle United. The fans will be unhappy to see their team

:13:45. > :13:51.surrender that 17-game unbeaten home run even though it was against

:13:51. > :13:57.the champions elect Charlton, on Saturday. Gregg Abbot has talked

:13:57. > :14:01.about haves and have Notts, he talked of Charlton having more

:14:01. > :14:05.backroom staff than Charlton have players -- than they do have

:14:05. > :14:12.players. You've been trying toe do the same. We've tried both ends

:14:12. > :14:18.with Sam Allardyce. He brought in a lot of staff. Right now we have a

:14:18. > :14:23.small squad and very good group of staff together. I think you have to

:14:23. > :14:27.see what's on the table. Manchester City they have the money, but we've

:14:27. > :14:37.bought clever. What we have done bought clever. What we have done

:14:37. > :14:41.

:14:41. > :14:45.obviously delivered. We'll have a If they made the play-offs they

:14:45. > :14:49.could meet in the play-offs? think they've done incredibly well.

:14:49. > :14:52.It's just now it comes down to, it's not about form, it's about

:14:52. > :14:55.it's not about form, it's about bottle. You need big characters,

:14:55. > :14:59.big players to stand up and be counted, to go out and have the

:14:59. > :15:05.courage to play under pressure. That will define whether they make

:15:05. > :15:09.the play-offs or not. Let's hope they do. I think last season mid-

:15:09. > :15:13.table ab security. This season they've done fantastically well.

:15:13. > :15:17.They will be disappointed if they don't. Hartlepool, we talked about

:15:17. > :15:23.Carlisle's great home record, they've not won at home since 18th

:15:23. > :15:27.February. Neil Cooper talking about the team being stale. I think it's

:15:27. > :15:30.bizarre, they have the worst home record in the whole of League One

:15:30. > :15:33.in the season where they had this great campaign. They've sold more

:15:33. > :15:36.season tickets than ever before and they've disappointed. Sometimes

:15:37. > :15:43.players at home in front of big crowds can freeze. They foal a bit

:15:43. > :15:47.more pressure. But again, stuck in mid-table, it's acceptable, but had

:15:47. > :15:52.the home form been better, they could have been near Carlisle.

:15:52. > :15:56.at the end of that game. Boos at the game at the Stadium of Light.

:15:56. > :16:00.Sunderland fans remember you were two points above the relegation

:16:00. > :16:05.zone when Martin O'Neill came in. You've played expectations down at

:16:05. > :16:09.your club, but the chairman of Sunderland has played them up. In

:16:09. > :16:13.his programme notes, they're aiming for top six next season for

:16:13. > :16:16.Sunderland, which you know, which when you've had a manager that's

:16:16. > :16:21.made Thame appreciation, expectations go through the roof.

:16:21. > :16:26.Yeah he's got a very good record. Sunderland have had a fantastic

:16:26. > :16:31.season, just like ourselves, we take it one game at a time, as

:16:31. > :16:36.players and manager, we kept our mouths shut. We do our football on

:16:36. > :16:39.the pitch. Look where it's got us.All, Do you think there's a bit

:16:39. > :16:42.of mind games in there from Alan Pardew to take pressure off the

:16:42. > :16:47.players to say hey, that's ridiculous, can't possibly make the

:16:47. > :16:52.Champions League, can you smell the mind games sometimes? Obviously, as

:16:52. > :16:57.someone on the sofa there, if you want to analyse that, that's fine.

:16:57. > :17:00.For players it's a great laugh. You read all the speculation in the

:17:00. > :17:04.paper. We hear about Europe and all that. But we've got a great

:17:04. > :17:10.position f. We can get ahead of Stoke and Wigan, who knows what can

:17:10. > :17:15.happen. Spill the beans, what is -- has he done, what is he like, what

:17:15. > :17:20.is the factor he's brought to the club? The team spirit is massive.

:17:20. > :17:24.He brung that in start of the season, new signings, very

:17:24. > :17:28.carefully, he gelled everyone together. How? He's very good with

:17:28. > :17:37.man management. He knows how to deal with personalities. People

:17:37. > :17:43.mention big egos. Look at the goals Ben has scored. People compare him

:17:43. > :17:49.to the likes of Messi. He knows how to handle him. There's been no

:17:49. > :17:52.problems. Johann is playing unbelievable. We had one of the

:17:52. > :17:57.best defensive records in the league leading up till Christmas.

:17:57. > :18:00.That's constant working and you have to trust the manager and trust

:18:00. > :18:03.the players. As well, it was obviously talked about the split

:18:03. > :18:09.between the English side of the dressing room an the foreigners a

:18:09. > :18:13.few years ago. Now it seems to me, particularly the Africans, just

:18:13. > :18:18.seems to have brought unbridled joy to the club. Absolutely. They come

:18:18. > :18:22.in every day with smiles on their faces. We have a Dutch week, French

:18:23. > :18:32.week, Argentinian week and African week of food. I think it's good to

:18:33. > :18:33.

:18:33. > :18:40.bring everybody together and the banter as well. The lads enjoy it

:18:40. > :18:44.and so they should do. How does this team compare to Kevin Keegan's

:18:44. > :18:51.great entertainers of the mid-90s, something that you will have a bit

:18:51. > :18:56.of experience of because we're not looking at Sir Les there, but the

:18:56. > :19:02.little fella there, who is that do you think? I tell you, they roll

:19:02. > :19:05.back the years. Little pin head them days. Yeah, you said it.

:19:05. > :19:10.Boyhood, to have been in that position and to actually get to

:19:10. > :19:14.play for the team, you have lived the dream. Absolutely. I still am,

:19:14. > :19:17.playing for the team I've always supported. 52,000 fans want to be

:19:18. > :19:25.in my position now and I'm the lucky lad playing in it.

:19:25. > :19:28.Interesting fact for you, the steel for the Sydney Harbour bridge came

:19:28. > :19:32.from seizeside. Middlesbrough's interNational Rhys Williams has

:19:32. > :19:35.returned the favour by providing plenty of steal this season. Over

:19:35. > :19:39.the years, he's had his fair share of injury problems, including a

:19:39. > :19:42.ten-month layoff that kept him out of the 2010 World Cup. Initial

:19:42. > :19:46.fears were that his recent ankle problem could keep him out for the

:19:46. > :19:50.season, but Williams told us he's hoping to be fit for Saturday's

:19:50. > :20:00.game against Southampton. Katie Gornall has met the latest in

:20:00. > :20:34.

:20:35. > :20:44.Scott McDonald, Luke Wiltshire, Mark Viduk... Is there one more?

:20:45. > :20:50.

:20:50. > :20:58.It's going to be obvious as well. Vidmar. Do you ever think back to

:20:58. > :21:02.the first day when you came through the door as a 16-year-old? I was

:21:02. > :21:07.pulling myself. It was difficult, very difficult, leaving family. I

:21:07. > :21:10.was a young lad. Like after school, I'd go on the beach and being with

:21:10. > :21:14.my mates and house parties when you're young and all that. It's

:21:14. > :21:24.part and parcel of the game. If you want to make it, they're the things

:21:24. > :21:33.

:21:33. > :21:37.you sacrifice. It was difficult but When you picked up that injury

:21:37. > :21:40.against Leeds, what was going through your mind? Due realise then

:21:41. > :21:45.how serious it was? At first, I just thought it was a little knock.

:21:45. > :21:50.I didn't get tackled. I tried to run, couldn't run. I got it checked

:21:50. > :21:53.and they said, well, the head physio said I think that's your

:21:54. > :22:02.season over. For me it hurt loads. I've never played a full season

:22:02. > :22:06.because of injury problems. My long injury, I went through a lot of

:22:06. > :22:10.phases where I thought I'd never play again. So it's good to get

:22:11. > :22:19.over that and with this injury I'm glad it's not the same thing. I

:22:19. > :22:23.really am progressing. Hopefully I'll be ready for Southampton.

:22:23. > :22:27.low did it get then? Did you think about your future in football and

:22:27. > :22:32.maybe reflect on that? Why do I want to be injured all the time in

:22:32. > :22:37.England when I could be injured all the time in Australia? That's how I

:22:37. > :22:41.was thinking. Why not play in the A league, be with my family, fiance,

:22:41. > :22:50.her family and just enjoy being at home and enjoying the lifestyle.

:22:50. > :22:53.That always went through my head. I had three, four months living in

:22:53. > :22:57.Australia, seeing a specialist there, which kept my mind off

:22:57. > :23:01.football, which was good, because I know if I was here I'd be depressed.

:23:01. > :23:06.I wouldn't do my work and stuff like that. So, the club have been

:23:06. > :23:11.brilliant to me and that was partly the reason why I signed a long-term

:23:11. > :23:21.deal here just because they've backed me all along. I don't want

:23:21. > :23:26.

:23:26. > :23:29.to do anything wrong by this club. Do you feel that this club can

:23:29. > :23:33.still get promoted? Of course, definitely, that's the only reason

:23:34. > :23:37.I'm trying to get back. We should be fighting for first and second if

:23:37. > :23:42.you look at results rather than fifth or sixth. I still firmly

:23:42. > :23:46.believe we have a massive chance of getting in there. That's why I'm

:23:46. > :23:49.rushing back. I'm risking myself hopefully to get back and we need

:23:49. > :23:53.to get in the play-offs. We can beat anyone on our day, if you look

:23:53. > :24:00.at the squad, our manager and our set up here. We should be in the

:24:00. > :24:04.Premier League and all the boys know that as well. There was a lot

:24:04. > :24:07.of rumours about you in the transfer window and where you might

:24:07. > :24:11.have gone, which I suppose is a big compliment to the way you were

:24:11. > :24:14.playing at the time. How close did you come to leaving Middlesbrough?

:24:14. > :24:18.It's brilliant being recognised by Premiership managers. I don't know

:24:18. > :24:24.how close it all came. I don't get involved in all that. The manager

:24:24. > :24:28.said if we were to let you go, you could be going somewhere, no hard

:24:28. > :24:38.feelings or anything. You could go and not play. That's not me. I

:24:38. > :24:39.

:24:39. > :24:42.couldn't go and sit on the bench. It's every kid's dream to play in

:24:42. > :24:44.the Premier League. I'm no different. I said first and

:24:44. > :24:48.foremost I want to take Middlesbrough to the Premier League.

:24:49. > :24:53.If that doesn't happen, then if I'm good enough and if I want it, then

:24:53. > :24:57.maybe one day I might have to leave to find Premier League football. My

:24:57. > :25:05.first thought is getting this club up and they're my only thoughts at

:25:06. > :25:11.the minute. Hopefully that will come true this season or next.

:25:11. > :25:16.There's no doubt about it, he's a talent and they've missed him.

:25:16. > :25:20.have. There was an injury against Leeds and they didn't win in seven

:25:20. > :25:25.games after that. Boro is a fantastic young squad. But at times

:25:25. > :25:31.they've lacked senior players and a bit of experience. That has maybe

:25:31. > :25:35.cost them dear. They've got three games to go. Doncaster is the next

:25:35. > :25:43.game. Really important to win that one and get themselves into a play-

:25:43. > :25:47.off position. First win in nine against Derby at the weekend. You

:25:47. > :25:52.predicted that resources would cost them. You just underlined that. Is

:25:52. > :25:56.it true you didn't think that ball from Barry Robson was sparkly?

:25:57. > :26:03.a great ball. I don't think he meant that. I think he meant to put

:26:03. > :26:07.it over the fullback's head. think that was an accident? Ask the

:26:07. > :26:11.current pro-. The two bounces in between the defender weren't quite

:26:11. > :26:21.meant. Yeah. You'll notice that the meant. Yeah. You'll notice that the

:26:21. > :26:26.goal was scored by a man Darlington Cardiff are not in spectacular form

:26:26. > :26:30.at the moment. They have two wins in eight. Brighton got a whooping

:26:30. > :26:35.as well down at West Ham at the weekend. How tough to get out of

:26:35. > :26:38.the division, you lot made it look easy two years ago. There's some

:26:38. > :26:43.rotten old grounds to go to and all sorts of styles and shapes and

:26:43. > :26:51.sizes and trips, hellish, arduous season. Some of the grounds are

:26:51. > :26:55.very difficult. I think we got frustrated. We got lucky away from

:26:55. > :26:59.home at times. Big players have to perform. That's what we did. We

:26:59. > :27:04.went down but came straight back up. It was important we did. It can be,

:27:04. > :27:09.when a big club goes into a smaller division, it can revitalise the

:27:09. > :27:13.place, for the fans you get a massive away day and things, Boro's

:27:13. > :27:20.a different scenario. They had a lot more financial jiggery pokery

:27:20. > :27:24.to do. They had to let go of players. Keeping hold of key

:27:24. > :27:28.players was massive. Finishing first was our priority. We did that

:27:28. > :27:32.very well. Players performed. We had to do that. We knew a draw felt

:27:32. > :27:37.lick a loss for us. It was good for the fans, fielding a win every week.

:27:37. > :27:40.I think for us, the feeling was getting the team together and

:27:40. > :27:45.getting Newcastle where they are today. That's what happened. What

:27:45. > :27:48.have the boys been saying today about the latest dive, Ashley Young

:27:48. > :27:52.this week, talking about it today? Stats in the Premier League are up

:27:52. > :27:57.already on last season, the amount of yellow cards that are given for

:27:57. > :28:01.simulation. Are you talking about this a lot? Not really, no. Sky and

:28:01. > :28:04.TV things are making a big meal out of it. I think it's a heat of the

:28:04. > :28:09.moment things happen. You just have to get on with it. You're telling

:28:09. > :28:14.me it's not happening? Good honest pro-s like ourselves would never do

:28:14. > :28:19.that sort of thing. You wouldn't simulate anything? No, certainly

:28:19. > :28:23.not hand balls and hitting in the head. Definite lit not You have to

:28:23. > :28:28.play by the book. Never try to conthe referee. Never pretend

:28:28. > :28:30.you've been shot or fall down. You'll get yourself sent off or

:28:31. > :28:35.something. Do you think it's getting worse? I think players have

:28:35. > :28:42.always tried to bend the rules, find anything to win a game. It
