:01:45. > :01:49.anticipation at the time but the move has failed with Doncaster
:01:49. > :01:54.destined for Rock -- League 1. Now that their season is effectively
:01:54. > :02:00.over, how do supporters look back at the neat as first tragedy?
:02:00. > :02:05.have to give them credit for trying something a bit different. It has
:02:05. > :02:14.not been working for a while. I was a cynic from the start but a better
:02:14. > :02:18.shot. El-Hadji Diouf and others - they just came for a ride. I am
:02:19. > :02:24.just disappointed it has not worked. It was worth a try. I know Willie
:02:24. > :02:28.McKay has a bad name but so what? He worked hard for the club. At the
:02:28. > :02:36.end of the day, they have tried it. It may not have worked but they
:02:36. > :02:40.have to try it. El-Hadji Diouf especially, what a star. I was not
:02:40. > :02:44.personally happy with the idea but that is how the club has had to try
:02:44. > :02:52.to cope. I think it has been hard to
:02:52. > :02:59.integrate a lot of the foreign players into the set up. They have
:02:59. > :03:05.been so used to a certain regime and a certain way of working. To
:03:05. > :03:08.change that dynamic, it has taken a lot of adjustment and the results
:03:08. > :03:12.speak for themselves. With opinion divided amongst the
:03:12. > :03:17.support, I pitied too early Mackay that the experiment has not had the
:03:17. > :03:20.desired effect. The club have been relegated from the League, so in
:03:20. > :03:26.many respects that will be seen as Ophelia. Where do you think it has
:03:26. > :03:34.gone wrong for the club this season? For something to go wrong,
:03:34. > :03:38.it had to be righted some time. When I arrived, there was not a lot
:03:38. > :03:48.right with the clock. John thought something had to be done and called
:03:48. > :03:49.
:03:49. > :03:57.me and asked me to help. Nobody has tried harder than myself. I love
:03:57. > :04:00.going to the way games and his supporters were brilliant. The

:04:59. > :05:03.scored six to seven goals. At least we give it a go. We tried a quick
:05:03. > :05:06.fix because we were in trouble. We got one point from seven games and
:05:06. > :05:11.one from 20 games. We tried to inject some life into the team and
:05:11. > :05:15.only three weeks ago what was going great. Ultimately, at the ball
:05:15. > :05:18.transferred experiment did not quite make the cut and defeat at
:05:18. > :05:22.home to Portsmouth consigns them to League 1 football next season. You
:05:22. > :05:28.cannot blame them for a lack of imagination. As for which players
:05:28. > :05:31.will be playing here next season, that is anyone's guess.
:05:31. > :05:36.That's the first problem of the close season. There are almost
:05:36. > :05:40.starting from scratch now. There will be a lot of players leaving?
:05:40. > :05:44.That can be of benefit that you want a fresh start. The sun does

:05:50. > :05:55.think it was a great way to run a business. It was difficult for don

:06:43. > :06:48.brings its own problems? Ideally, everyone wants a permanent signing
