:00:00. > :00:00.Almost Easter, when teams lhke eggs can crack or come to the bohl.

:00:00. > :00:25.Welcome to Late Kick Off. One Hull of a match at Wembley. City

:00:26. > :00:29.are going back, the Blades have come back proud.

:00:30. > :00:31.Evans above, the rise and rhse of Steve's Rotherham.

:00:32. > :00:42.And the what's the point we have got for the

:00:43. > :00:47.matches played we would havd been top of league one last year. And the

:00:48. > :00:50.Yorkshire Yanks aiming for the big leagues.

:00:51. > :00:53.Yes, good evening, we are rdady for another week and freshly returned

:00:54. > :00:56.from Wembley as somebody who could not lose either way yesterd`y, but

:00:57. > :00:58.he is happy Hull won, Deano's here and so is Doncaster Rovers'

:00:59. > :01:05.currently sidelined captain, Rob Jones. My questions are comhng up,

:01:06. > :01:13.your questions to us through the week via Twitter. There is loads to

:01:14. > :01:16.come but we have got to start by talking about yesterday's F@ Cup

:01:17. > :01:20.semifinal, after I remember my manners by asking Rob how hd is

:01:21. > :01:30.The neck operation, how is the recovery going? For weeks now. I've

:01:31. > :01:33.just got to take it very slowly Up to now it's been great, the surgeon

:01:34. > :01:37.has been fantastic and told me exactly what I had to do. For the

:01:38. > :01:41.first time in my life I havd done that! I have a long way to go.

:01:42. > :01:44.Running is the next stage and then back to heading the ball. Hopefully

:01:45. > :01:47.back playing next year. You will be fighting fit by August I'm sure

:01:48. > :01:53.Dean, you always looked fighting fit, how was Wembley for yot? It was

:01:54. > :01:56.a glorious day, Guy, a great result. Obviously a fantastic occashon for

:01:57. > :02:03.both teams, the supporters were fantastic, and Sheffield Unhted had

:02:04. > :02:09.a right go to be honest. Thdy have come out looking for the upset, 25

:02:10. > :02:15.minutes into the game. Stevd changed the system a little bit going for

:02:16. > :02:21.4`3`3. Then he changed it to 4` `2 and at half`time made two changes.

:02:22. > :02:30.Figueroa and Boyd came off. That made the difference. The final

:02:31. > :02:33.against Arsenal, that'll be a great occasion and Sheffield Unitdd have

:02:34. > :02:37.come back with pride intact. Without doubt. I was speaking to a lot of

:02:38. > :02:41.supporters who were absolutdly delighted and I am sure Nigdl will

:02:42. > :02:45.be delighted because they took us all the way. The one thing `t

:02:46. > :02:50.Wembley is do you crumble or do you take on board what is going on, and

:02:51. > :02:54.we had a great go. They went in front and everybody expected it and

:02:55. > :02:59.then Steve changed the systdm and it all changed. Despite losing, it is

:03:00. > :03:02.clear things are going the right way for Sheffield United and thdy are

:03:03. > :03:07.happening down the road in Rotherham too. Chairman Tony Stewart got

:03:08. > :03:09.things going by building ond of the tidiest Football League stadiums

:03:10. > :03:12.around but his real masterstroke was bringing Steve Evans to the club,

:03:13. > :03:18.loathed by rival clubs and loved by those he brings results. We have

:03:19. > :03:24.spent time with one of football s real characters.

:03:25. > :03:50.Steve Evans's managerial record speaks for itself. He brought Boston

:03:51. > :03:52.United from the depths to the football league, he engineered

:03:53. > :03:55.Crawley's rise out of the Conference into League One, so eyebrows were

:03:56. > :04:02.raised when he decided to jtmp ship back into League Two and john lowly

:04:03. > :04:06.Rotherham. I knew it meant stepping back from League One to League Two

:04:07. > :04:10.but I also knew that I was stepping back but it could go two or

:04:11. > :04:13.threelevels up. I became aw`re of the new stadium and the plans the

:04:14. > :04:17.chairman had and I knew what an opportunity it could be. Stdve's

:04:18. > :04:20.decision to take over appears to have paid off after he catapulted

:04:21. > :04:23.the Millers into League One and Championship football is a real

:04:24. > :04:29.possibility but can they hold their nerve? We have every chance because

:04:30. > :04:36.we have got ourselves into the play`offs and that was no e`sy task.

:04:37. > :04:40.Almost a year to the day, whth the points we had from the matches

:04:41. > :04:43.played we would be top of Ldague One this time last year. Can we be

:04:44. > :04:50.successful? Yes we can, but equally we could be knocked out and back in

:04:51. > :04:54.League One next season. We `re not getting ahead of our station and

:04:55. > :04:57.know it will be tough. He knows what he is doing, knows his permttations.

:04:58. > :05:02.I think he is a fantastic m`nager. He's great for the club. He proves

:05:03. > :05:08.how good he is because other clubs wanted him. He has got that passion,

:05:09. > :05:13.that desire that is what we want for the club and has proved to be true.

:05:14. > :05:22.He is a good manager, very `brasive but that is what we want. Wherever

:05:23. > :05:25.you go, Steve, the fans lovd you but opposition fans seem to lovd to hate

:05:26. > :05:28.you. They see you as this p`nto villain of the Football League.

:05:29. > :05:31.Isn't football like that? I think I've seen it recently where a

:05:32. > :05:35.supporter from another team has given me stick and I had a chat with

:05:36. > :05:38.him and he ended by saying we'd love you to be our manager, becatse he

:05:39. > :05:42.sees the passion and that's why I've been fortunate, only at thrde clubs,

:05:43. > :05:48.each set of supporters has been like that, and they see how hard I try. I

:05:49. > :05:52.am always first in and last out every day if I can, and as one

:05:53. > :06:00.manager says when the referde calls for the toss`up at kick`off, I will

:06:01. > :06:03.be arguing about it. I am jtst passionate and over the last couple

:06:04. > :06:09.of years I have had to bring that passion and channel it. Tonx Stewart

:06:10. > :06:13.has been terrific for me. P`ssion is one thing, control is anothdr. You

:06:14. > :06:19.have to channel the control of the passion but keep the passion there

:06:20. > :06:22.and the drive. I see Steve dvery day and we talk at length every day not

:06:23. > :06:33.just about football, and th`t I share, we share the same passion.

:06:34. > :06:37.That is success and it is whnning. A good manager like Steve and the

:06:38. > :06:41.players as well. They wanted to come, and they are lovely it wasn't

:06:42. > :06:48.a place you could probably `ttract players of the quality we are

:06:49. > :06:51.attracting today. What is your relationship like with Tony Stewart,

:06:52. > :06:57.why he doesn't get a knighthood for what he has done. He is a f`ntastic

:06:58. > :07:00.man. He has put over ?50 million of hard earned money into this town,

:07:01. > :07:12.and what comes from that is major benefits for the town. The stadium

:07:13. > :07:21.is iconic. But I have got a fantastic relationship with him He

:07:22. > :07:25.gets offended when I say it is like a father and son. I see it `s sort

:07:26. > :07:28.of a brother and older brother. I look at it as a partnership. I look

:07:29. > :07:31.at football as about partnerships with chairmen, managers. Whdn things

:07:32. > :07:39.go wrong, blame the manager but also the chairman. If you add in that

:07:40. > :07:41.role, `` add`ins football, the pinnacle of football is the

:07:42. > :07:44.Premiership and I remember talking to someone a few years ago,

:07:45. > :07:47.Rotherham in the Premiership? He laughed but I was serious. Rotherham

:07:48. > :07:50.United is a championship cltb and whether it can ever become `

:07:51. > :07:54.Premiership club. We al know it gets harder and all I know is th`t

:07:55. > :07:58.Blackpool and the likes of Wigan and Swansea who were in Division Four in

:07:59. > :08:02.the old days, or League Two as it is now, and went baxck to back and then

:08:03. > :08:13.up to the Premiership, you think to yourself, that could it be ts?

:08:14. > :08:23.Could it be? Rob, that is bold talk and they are aiming high? Vdry bold.

:08:24. > :08:26.They have got very ambitious plans. I think looking at the light of it,

:08:27. > :08:34.it's night and day between there and the Premiership. The Championship is

:08:35. > :08:38.sandwiched in between. That is a very difficult League to st`y in, so

:08:39. > :08:42.they have an awful lot to do but they are doing it under Steve

:08:43. > :08:52.Evans, aren't they? A 0`0 draw at Bradford on Friday, but thex are

:08:53. > :08:56.still going to. `` still gohng to be in the play`offs? A great point for

:08:57. > :08:59.Bradford, they but the expected Rotherham to win that game. Steve

:09:00. > :09:06.Evans is a character we lovd a version of Neil Warnock. Thd one

:09:07. > :09:09.thing he does is he gets results. Like you said, he is very p`ssionate

:09:10. > :09:17.about what he does, sometimds a lot of people don't like that. Ht is

:09:18. > :09:20.just the way he is, a character Is he your sort of manager? I could see

:09:21. > :09:28.you having almighty clashes playing with him? I think I get on well with

:09:29. > :09:32.people like that. If you don't do your job he is going to tell you. If

:09:33. > :09:36.you cannot accept that you will not get on with him so I would love to

:09:37. > :09:42.have played with him. He asked me to be his assistant years ago. He ended

:09:43. > :09:46.up taking Paul Gascoigne. I was still playing at the time. He is one

:09:47. > :09:50.of those coaches that you would like to play for but it is when xou are

:09:51. > :09:53.up against him you do not lhke him! That's the way he is. He is getting

:09:54. > :09:56.results and Rotherham are up there again but five dropped points in two

:09:57. > :09:59.games means automatic promotion hopes may be too much. Sheffield

:10:00. > :10:05.United are hoping and Bradford are preparing for next season.

:10:06. > :10:11.Coming up, Wembley wasn't the only thing in the brains of Bladds this

:10:12. > :10:12.week. An American Revolution ` ovdr here

:10:13. > :10:23.and they get our game! All of that on the way but first the

:10:24. > :10:26.Championship goals. We will see how Rovers got on shortly but wd start

:10:27. > :10:33.with an emotional day at Hillsborough.

:10:34. > :10:36.Before kick`off, there was ` sombre atmosphere at Hillsborough `s

:10:37. > :10:39.Sheffield Wednesday along whth every other club in English footb`ll

:10:40. > :10:41.commemorated the 25th annivdrsary of the stadium disaster that khlled 96

:10:42. > :10:52.Liverpool football supporters attending the 1989 FA Cup sdmifinal.

:10:53. > :10:56.The game itself was great for the neutrals. Blackburn got the scoring

:10:57. > :10:59.underway with Jordan Rhodes benefiting from awful defending from

:11:00. > :11:09.the owls to allow Craig Conway to score. Wednesday claimed an

:11:10. > :11:12.equaliser. Two goals late in the first half

:11:13. > :11:15.including this speculative dffort from Craig Conway put Blackburn up

:11:16. > :11:25.at half`time, but a battling Wednesday.

:11:26. > :11:28.Wednesday did not throw the towel in. This quick reaction to Paul

:11:29. > :11:30.Robinson's save and game on at Hillsborough. Deep in injurx time,

:11:31. > :11:34.Wednesday grabbed an equaliser. Nuhiu with a scrambled finish give

:11:35. > :11:38.the owls a deserved point. After another bizarre week hn the

:11:39. > :11:41.history of Leeds United, thdy had at least 90 minutes of football they

:11:42. > :11:44.could concentrate on. Struggling Blackpool were perfect position for

:11:45. > :11:49.a Leeds side that couldn't buy a win. The game's opening goal came in

:11:50. > :11:51.the 21st minute, Luke Murphx with his first goal for United shnce the

:11:52. > :11:55.opening game of the season `nd to celebrate rediscovering his scoring

:11:56. > :12:03.touch, he claimed another to confirm what was only their second win in 13

:12:04. > :12:07.games. I don't think there is such a thing

:12:08. > :12:12.as a typical week any more. We just want another calm week. Obvhously we

:12:13. > :12:17.have the new owners coming hn and the club has been sorted out

:12:18. > :12:21.basically. We got a really good reception from the fans tod`y. You

:12:22. > :12:27.did as well because that is a big result? It was. Some tough times in

:12:28. > :12:32.the last three months and you just get the feeling that cloud hs slowly

:12:33. > :12:34.disappearing. Huddersfield's recent form hs now

:12:35. > :12:45.officially a slump, ahead of Saturday's game at Derby Cotnty But

:12:46. > :12:48.they started brightly. After a quarter of an hour, Nahki Wdlls put

:12:49. > :12:54.them in front but were quickly pegged back. Johnny Russell beating

:12:55. > :12:58.the offside trap. The match swung just before half`time. Joel Lynch

:12:59. > :13:06.wandered off after a stupid foul after earlier picking up a xellow

:13:07. > :13:10.for time wasting. When your luck is not in thhs kind

:13:11. > :13:13.of thing happens. Alex Smithies s howler handing them the lead. Things

:13:14. > :13:17.went from bad to worse with Peter Clark pulling down Hughes and Clark

:13:18. > :13:23.saw red and Chris Martin did the needed for Derby. They cannot wait

:13:24. > :13:26.for the season to end. Doncaster still need a few lore

:13:27. > :13:32.points to feel completely s`fe. Murphy headed Ipswich in front. With

:13:33. > :13:38.the clock running out, they were awarded a penalty. Chris Brown

:13:39. > :13:41.seemingly secured a shield of the points but frustratingly for Paul

:13:42. > :13:45.Dickov, Ipswich went back in front within seconds. Doncaster still are

:13:46. > :14:02.not safe but they are a gamd closer to safety. A disastrous heshtation

:14:03. > :14:13.by Barnsley could prove fat`l to the Reds' hopes of escaping reldgation.

:14:14. > :14:16.In the 70th minute, Chris O'Grady seemed to be clearly fouled in the

:14:17. > :14:17.penalty area, but the referde waved away Barnsley's appeals. Minutes

:14:18. > :14:19.later, Barnsley did get a pdnalty. penalty area, but the referde waved

:14:20. > :14:26.away Barnsley's But how important will that miss prove?

:14:27. > :14:29.From the bottom up, Barnslex's plight may be terminal if they can't

:14:30. > :14:33.beat Charlton at the Valley tomorrow. That's a massive game

:14:34. > :14:37.Doncaster's defeat could have been really damaging. But all thdir

:14:38. > :14:41.rivals dropped points too. But they're only three from trotble And

:14:42. > :14:44.then there's Huddersfield, bring on the end of the season. Leeds and

:14:45. > :14:47.Sheffield Wednesday remain the top clubs on goal difference. It's not

:14:48. > :14:53.been a great Championship sdason for Yorkshire.

:14:54. > :14:58.Let's start with your side, seemed safe a few weeks ago, but now

:14:59. > :15:00.dangerously close to it all again. Yeah, I think until you're

:15:01. > :15:05.mathematically safe, you ard always worried about what is going to

:15:06. > :15:08.happen in the foreseeable ftture. We were eight points clear of the drop

:15:09. > :15:12.zone, now it's back to thred with four games to go. It's getthng tight

:15:13. > :15:17.again. We have got some big sides vying for the points as much as we

:15:18. > :15:20.are. It is going to be diffhcult. But I'm sure there's enough

:15:21. > :15:23.character in that dressing room It was always going to be diffhcult at

:15:24. > :15:29.Ipswich. A good performance the manager said. At this stage of the

:15:30. > :15:33.season, you need points. Gone down 2`1 with a late goal. The m`nager

:15:34. > :15:37.will be moaning about the foul that came before it. It looks like a

:15:38. > :15:43.foul. Sometimes you're given it sometimes not. You get back to `1

:15:44. > :15:48.at a difficult place like Ipswich and you shut up shop really. You

:15:49. > :15:52.take your point away from home, then you move on to the next one. But it

:15:53. > :15:55.wasn't to be at the weekend. What's the mood like, everybody sthll

:15:56. > :16:03.upbeat? Very much so. There are still a lot of points. We are in the

:16:04. > :16:08.driving seat. It's in your hands, isn't it? It is. For the whole

:16:09. > :16:11.season, we played well against the better sides. That's not to say it's

:16:12. > :16:19.not been difficult. But we got points from teams we should not have

:16:20. > :16:21.got points from. Fingers crossed, a similar story for Barnsley, they've

:16:22. > :16:27.been getting points off teals you would not have expected thel to But

:16:28. > :16:30.they are in deep now, aren't they? Yeah, unfortunately they ard in

:16:31. > :16:37.trouble. Jermaine has got in there too easy. It's been tough for Danny

:16:38. > :16:43.obviously, coming in late on. That for me is a penalty. He's not going

:16:44. > :16:50.to down there if he's got a chance to score a goal. But when hd does

:16:51. > :16:55.get the penalty, that happens. He is a casual geezer anyway, just a

:16:56. > :16:58.little bit too casual there. When you are in the bottom like that you

:16:59. > :17:02.have to stick your foot through the ball. Might it be a good thhng

:17:03. > :17:06.overall? You played with Chris, the goals have dried up a littld bit of

:17:07. > :17:09.late, but they will need hil to start firing in the next few games.

:17:10. > :17:18.Yes, he is a centre forward, they need goals. And we need wins. Draws

:17:19. > :17:29.are no good to them any mord. What will that do to his confidence

:17:30. > :17:31.having missed a penalty? Chris is a very upbeat character. I spdnt 8

:17:32. > :17:34.months with him at Sheffield Wednesday, he's a lovely gux. That

:17:35. > :17:38.won't affect him. The next penalty comes along, he will be the person

:17:39. > :17:41.to take it. That won't affect Chris. In other news, a win for Ledds at

:17:42. > :17:44.the weekend. On field success at last. That's the Championshhp sorted

:17:45. > :17:48.out, a division probably just out of reach of Sheffield United for next

:17:49. > :17:51.season. But you can't keep them out of the news at the moment, or off

:17:52. > :17:52.the telly! This week's Man On features Jose Baxter versus Stefan

:17:53. > :18:05.Scougall. Name the world's largest ocdan.

:18:06. > :18:11.Pacific. What's the first lhne of the supoorters chip butty song? You

:18:12. > :18:16.have to sing it. # You fill up my senses. # Which

:18:17. > :18:17.former French international currently has four sons on the books

:18:18. > :18:32.at Real Madrid? Zidane. How many sides does an

:18:33. > :18:40.octagon have? Six. Eight. Which club did Nigel Clough manage before

:18:41. > :18:54.Sheffield United? Derby. Wh`t is the largest county in the UK by area?

:18:55. > :18:58.Haven't a clue. Yorkshire. North Yorkshire, correct. North Yorkshire!

:18:59. > :19:06.Who were the first British club to win the European cup? Celtic. You

:19:07. > :19:10.should know that. I didn't want to say it. How many years in a century?

:19:11. > :19:24.100. It still amazes me how they take it

:19:25. > :19:26.semi seriously. Now Scougall started his football education in hhs native

:19:27. > :19:29.Edinburgh, whilst Baxter cale through Everton's School of Science,

:19:30. > :19:33.both conventional routes to the professional game. But therd's more

:19:34. > :19:36.than one way to make it no latter where you're from, and Paul

:19:37. > :19:39.Burland's been to find out `bout Yorkshire's most unusual talent

:19:40. > :19:44.conveyor belt. We play total football. So play

:19:45. > :19:48.total football. Former Bradford City captain Lee

:19:49. > :19:55.Duxbury with the pre`match pep talk. Do your best. You work for dach and

:19:56. > :19:58.everyone of you. Learning to play football in England

:19:59. > :20:00.is a golden opportunity, but also a hard lesson in reality. The Richmond

:20:01. > :20:06.International Academic and Soccer Academy, or RIASA, provided eight of

:20:07. > :20:09.the starting 11 for Bradford. They faced a Hull side that was tsing the

:20:10. > :20:12.fixture to sharpen up ahead of Sunday's FA Cup semifinal and

:20:13. > :20:19.included Matt Fryatt, Stephdn Quinn, Sone Aluko, all under the g`ze of

:20:20. > :20:22.Steve Bruce. They like to dream. They like the

:20:23. > :20:25.idea of playing football. Btt when it comes to the commitment, the

:20:26. > :20:28.ability, and everything elsd, reality kicks in and some of them go

:20:29. > :20:34.home after a year, they won't give it enough time. They will rdalise

:20:35. > :20:38.that they aren't good enough. But they still go

:20:39. > :20:43.experience. The most high profile gradu`te is

:20:44. > :20:45.Bermuda born Nakhi Wells. After a stuttering start at Carlisld,

:20:46. > :20:51.Bradford resurrected his career before a record`breaking move to

:20:52. > :20:55.Huddersfield. I'm happy to be the first one to actually make ht out of

:20:56. > :21:01.the programme. It was a new programme when I entered. It had

:21:02. > :21:04.just started running. Every year, it succeeds, taking leaps and bounds

:21:05. > :21:13.forwards. I would expect many others to follow in my footsteps.

:21:14. > :21:16.Against such lofty opposition, the Bradford 11 peppered with RHASA

:21:17. > :21:23.students more than held thehr own. But superior finishing from Aluko

:21:24. > :21:36.and others gave Hull a 3`0 win. Not bad considering 13 of the 1 man

:21:37. > :21:42.Bantam squad are students. @nd the benefits to Bradford are manyfold.

:21:43. > :21:45.They are on a self funded education programme so you have not got the

:21:46. > :21:49.cost of player contracts, the cost of coaches. This is all funded

:21:50. > :21:53.within the University fee`p`ying system. You've not got the dxtra

:21:54. > :21:56.cost of facilities. To have a pool of players, who can represent the

:21:57. > :21:59.club, and certain ones could qualify and look to step into a first`team

:22:00. > :22:03.environment, to get rich pickings from there at no cost to Br`dford

:22:04. > :22:10.City football club is a no`brainer. Where is the next Nakhi Wells from

:22:11. > :22:14.RIASA? That is the next project I guess they were a bit lucky with

:22:15. > :22:18.me and I was a bit lucky with them. It worked both ways. I got ly

:22:19. > :22:23.opportunity from the progralme and I'm very happy with that.

:22:24. > :22:30.You've been a credit to us. Well done. All the subs, well done.

:22:31. > :22:33.It's the intensity, the spedd of play, that speed of the

:22:34. > :22:39.decision`making is the biggdst thing for me. I think players comhng over

:22:40. > :22:43.here, that's the biggest stdpping stone, knowing what you want to do

:22:44. > :22:45.before the play transpires. A massive programme in a year,

:22:46. > :22:55.definitely something that enticed me. Playing in the best footballing

:22:56. > :22:58.country in the world. You gdt to play these showcase opportunities

:22:59. > :23:00.against top players. There hs also the cultural experience you get

:23:01. > :23:07.travelling, seeing different styles of play. There is no progralme out

:23:08. > :23:10.there like that, it's a gre`t package.

:23:11. > :23:21.Excellent, well done. I hopd you And the very best of luck to all the

:23:22. > :23:25.boys with their future progression, whatever path they take. It seems a

:23:26. > :23:31.good scheme. It seems win whn for Bradford City, for local cltbs. For

:23:32. > :23:34.the students themselves. I think a few of them are doing very well at

:23:35. > :23:38.the moment. I know Mark Ellhs is very passionate about it. As Dave

:23:39. > :23:41.Baldwin said, if they can gdt one of them out there as they did with

:23:42. > :23:49.Nakhi Wales, it is a point to Bradford city. Nakhi Wells has gone

:23:50. > :23:52.on and done very well. It's ` great opportunity for kids like that when

:23:53. > :23:55.they do not get an opportunhty anywhere else. It does not cost

:23:56. > :24:01.Bradford City that much mondy. It is a win win situation for both

:24:02. > :24:06.parties. It's not one of those second chance schemes that we have a

:24:07. > :24:08.lot of this country. It's an American initiative from Richmond

:24:09. > :24:14.University of Virginia. The game is taking off over there. Very much so.

:24:15. > :24:17.When you read stories about how football has taken off over there.

:24:18. > :24:24.They are drip feeding it back into this country, like a reversd role.

:24:25. > :24:27.The soccer camps. Yes, of course. Bradford have got something very

:24:28. > :24:31.good going. If you get a Nakhi Wells every now and again, is good for

:24:32. > :24:34.everybody. It will be interdsting to see who the next big name to come

:24:35. > :24:37.from that scheme will be. Time for League Two. Scunthorpe

:24:38. > :24:39.Chesterfield, York ` they'rd all going up! Or are they? Here's BBC

:24:40. > :24:49.Radio Sheffield's Paul Walkdr. And so the run continues. Not yet

:24:50. > :24:53.officially confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records, it is belidved that

:24:54. > :24:56.after this draw with Bury, Russ Wilcox now holds the world record

:24:57. > :25:02.for the most games unbeaten for a rookie manager. He has gone an

:25:03. > :25:09.incredible 26 games without defeat. The game's opening goal camd in the

:25:10. > :25:15.67th minute. Five minutes l`ter the Shakers were level. But Scunny went

:25:16. > :25:32.in front again with 13 minutes left. In injury time, Scunthorpe suffered

:25:33. > :25:42.a cruel blow. Danny Rose with a sublime equaliser. It leaves Russ

:25:43. > :25:45.Wilcox's unbeaten record intact and Scunthorpe on top, but Irons' gaffer

:25:46. > :25:48.will still rue what could h`ve been. Chesterfield fans might havd worried

:25:49. > :25:51.that their season was in danger of slipping down the pan after the

:25:52. > :25:54.disruption of their trip to Wembley in the JPT. Those concerns grew when

:25:55. > :25:57.Luke James stroked home this lovely effort. Putting Hartlepool one up.

:25:58. > :26:01.But fans' nerves were soothdd soon afterwards when Chesterfield

:26:02. > :26:07.levelled things. Liam Cooper forcing the ball home. Those pre`match

:26:08. > :26:12.nerves became a distant memory when Owen Doyle's effort found the back

:26:13. > :26:18.of the net. Chesterfield now have some breathing space in third spot.

:26:19. > :26:22.York City remain unbeaten shnce January after this home draw to

:26:23. > :26:26.Accrington. But they will bd kicking themselves that they did not collect

:26:27. > :26:29.all three points on offer. Lichael Coulson seemed to have given them

:26:30. > :26:39.the win with this penalty after half an hour. But in injury time, Stanley

:26:40. > :26:42.nicked a point. We will find out soon enough how damaging th`t goal

:26:43. > :26:46.will prove for York's promotion dream.

:26:47. > :26:49.So record`breaking Russ's Scunthorpe move to the top thanks to Rochdale

:26:50. > :26:55.crashing at Mansfield. Chesterfield back in the title hunt again. And

:26:56. > :26:59.will that late Accrington goal prove costly for York? They're just out of

:27:00. > :27:03.the play`offs again. What a game they have on Good Friday aw`y to

:27:04. > :27:08.Oxford. Scunthorpe, point by point, they are

:27:09. > :27:11.getting there. But I bet thdy will be frustrated having twice led on

:27:12. > :27:14.Saturday to draw that game. But because of the run that Russ has

:27:15. > :27:21.been on, he will not be criticising his players, they have had `

:27:22. > :27:24.fantastic run. Is it a world record? We can't substantiate that

:27:25. > :27:26.officially, but we think it is. Russ will be delighted. Yeah,

:27:27. > :27:33.disappointed, as managers you work all week to get results. And

:27:34. > :27:36.especially when you have bedn ahead right that and been in that rich

:27:37. > :27:41.vein of form, they will be disappointed. But they won't be

:27:42. > :27:45.grumbling. Chesterfield are back in the top three frame again. The next

:27:46. > :27:49.two games are Dagenham and Dxeter and then Burton and Fleetwood the

:27:50. > :27:58.last two. They've got to get it done before those. You would think so.

:27:59. > :28:01.The way the fixtures have p`nned out, you would like them to take the

:28:02. > :28:07.maximum from the next two g`mes and then ease off. Those last g`mes

:28:08. > :28:10.could be difficult. We could still have a clean sweep of three

:28:11. > :28:12.promotions from League Two, you never know. Chesterfield getting a

:28:13. > :28:17.key win at Hartlepool. So what's coming up? Well, dveryone

:28:18. > :28:20.will be doubling up from Good Friday to Easter Monday, but as far as

:28:21. > :28:24.tomorrow's concerned, just the one game as Barnsley go into Thd Valley

:28:25. > :28:27.where hopefully the skids won't be put on their bid to stay up And

:28:28. > :28:29.there'll be live commentary from Charlton Athletic's famous home on

:28:30. > :28:32.BBC Radio Sheffield. Just time for a quick reminder about

:28:33. > :28:35.the BBC iPlayer, where you can watch this programme again and all the

:28:36. > :28:38.other regional versions, from Plymouth to Hartlepool, for the next

:28:39. > :28:42.seven days. My thanks to De`n and Rob who, like me, can sit b`ck with

:28:43. > :28:45.a beer next Monday when a ftll fixture list means the full Football

:28:46. > :29:07.League Show treatment. We'rd back in a fortnight. See you then.

:29:08. > :29:23.Every time I see you, it's shorts and a dressing gown.

:29:24. > :29:27.Oh, I've just seen your answer. OK. LAUGHTER
