:01:32. > :01:38.Hello and welcome to Alexandra Palace for highlights of the 2014

:01:39. > :01:43.Masters. There is always a great buzz when Ronnie O'Sullivan rolls

:01:44. > :01:47.into town. All 1500 tickets were snapped up for his match against

:01:48. > :01:56.Robert Milkins, but first let's show you the best of the action of this

:01:57. > :02:00.afternoon's match between Ding Junhui and Shaun Murphy. There was a

:02:01. > :02:07.power cut here, but when they got going, this was electric. This

:02:08. > :02:24.should be a cracking match. And now he is in business. And Ding leads

:02:25. > :02:34.2-0. He played that beautifully. It's 2-2. Game on! Ah, what a shot

:02:35. > :02:39.he played there. He only needs the yellow. It is a good that under the

:02:40. > :02:56.circumstances. He still trails by 4-3, but he is

:02:57. > :03:10.right back in it. Absolutely amazing. He played it superbly well.

:03:11. > :03:13.Beautifully struck. What a turn around, Shaun Murphy won three

:03:14. > :03:28.frames in a row and he leads 5-4. A great comeback so could Murphy

:03:29. > :03:31.finish off the job? We pick it up in 10. It is Ding to play on a break of

:03:32. > :03:38.39. He missed the canon. He played a

:03:39. > :03:45.canon on to the pink and look where he finished. Well, you don't often

:03:46. > :03:52.see a smile from Ding, but he missed th canon. Let's have a look at this.

:03:53. > :03:56.Had he hit it a little easier, it wouldn't have mattered, he would

:03:57. > :04:02.still have had the red. I mean it is a massive area, the pink. Quarter

:04:03. > :04:15.ball. Half ball. Any sort of contact on it would have been fine, but it

:04:16. > :04:25.is such a mistake. He played that well though. A good shot. It is just

:04:26. > :04:30.a delicate little canon on to the pink, but a wide target. Well,

:04:31. > :04:36.Hawk-Eye will just show you. Full-ball. Half-ball. Anything and

:04:37. > :04:42.it was perfect. Another 46 break. That's what he got the last frame

:04:43. > :04:47.and broke down. Well, I think this red, he looked at the potting angle.

:04:48. > :04:51.He is going to sneak this in past the other red. He will be playing a

:04:52. > :04:58.safety shot. He has got the chance of a good safety with this as well.

:04:59. > :05:02.It is one of those shots maybe the yellow and the brown will come to

:05:03. > :05:17.your rescue if you don't knock it in. The angle might be there. The

:05:18. > :05:23.red is there. The red is in. And even though he is not on the brown,

:05:24. > :05:25.Ding is going to be in all sorts of trouble here. Yeah, a great pot that

:05:26. > :05:36.was. I don't know whether that was a good

:05:37. > :05:41.shot on the brown though. I would have liked to have covered this side

:05:42. > :05:45.that Ding is coming off. I could see him hitting it. The other way would

:05:46. > :05:53.have been a bit more difficult with the pink in the way.

:05:54. > :06:04.Yeah, he left this slightly easier escape. He didn't really give that

:06:05. > :06:15.as much thought as he needed to that roll up behind the brown there. He

:06:16. > :06:29.should have had that angle cut off. A beauty, by the looks of it. Well.

:06:30. > :06:33.Not quite. Almost. Boy, what a shot this will be because if he pots

:06:34. > :06:38.this, he could finish on the black. The white will come right round the

:06:39. > :06:48.table and he won't canon into anything.

:06:49. > :06:58.Well, he did canon the pink and he left Shaun a chance now. One good

:06:59. > :07:04.clean pot, Shaun. It is highly likely that you will finish on a

:07:05. > :07:12.colour even kout doing too much with the cue ball here. Put yourself in

:07:13. > :07:20.the driver's seat. It's there. Beautifully controlled as well. And

:07:21. > :07:24.an angle, I think, is it? He is a bit strange, but he has the cue

:07:25. > :07:28.power to pot this and get up for the yellow, but it is not going to be

:07:29. > :07:33.straightforward! Normally, it wouldn't be a problem. A slight

:07:34. > :07:41.angle, reverse side, you watch the white when it hits a cushion. He

:07:42. > :07:47.didn't quite get enough side on that. It is a tricky little cut back

:07:48. > :07:55.past the green. He is 20 in front. He only needs the yellow and the

:07:56. > :08:05.green and it will be a terrific victory for The Magician. It is

:08:06. > :08:14.there! Well, Ding, I don't think he can believe what happened from 4-2

:08:15. > :08:24.in front it has all slipped away. He can't believe it, but every credit

:08:25. > :08:38.to Shaun Murphy he stuck in there. He will be absolutely over the moon,

:08:39. > :08:45.Shaun Murphy. That's it all over. Ding comes forward. Ding looked like

:08:46. > :08:49.he was going to dominate the match, he head 4-2, but Shaun Murphy has

:08:50. > :08:54.taken the last four frames for victory and he goes through to the

:08:55. > :09:01.quarter-final winning s frames to four. Who would have thought it? All

:09:02. > :09:10.our matches seem, pardon the pun ding-dong matches. When we play each

:09:11. > :09:15.other, our match in Shanghai was a great match and then he went on this

:09:16. > :09:19.mad run of not losing and he is a phenomenal player and that for me

:09:20. > :09:24.and in, you know, in context of my season so far, it is a massive,

:09:25. > :09:29.massive win and I'm over the moon. Ultimately, you know, I will always

:09:30. > :09:32.be searching for this tournament to complete my little triple crown of

:09:33. > :09:37.BBC events, you know, I'm not looking at that just yet. Rome

:09:38. > :09:42.wasn't built in a day. I'm just thankful to be in the next round.

:09:43. > :09:55.What an excellent performance from Shaun Murphy. He will meet Marco Fu

:09:56. > :10:01.in the last match. Now, the next match Robert Milkins

:10:02. > :10:07.and Ronnie O'Sullivan. Look at the fans queuing up. A wonderful

:10:08. > :10:16.atmosphere inside the venue ahead of Ronnie's arrival. Well, The Rocket

:10:17. > :10:22.won the Masters in 1995 beating John Higgins and had to wait another ten

:10:23. > :10:26.years to win it again. Quite a contrast when you consider his

:10:27. > :10:31.opponent, Robert Milkins, making his debut at the Masters. He is ranked

:10:32. > :10:40.13th in the world. He joined the top 16 for the first time in July last

:10:41. > :10:49.year. The Milkman has never beaten The Rocket.

:10:50. > :10:54.I haven't been here before. I haven't played in the Masters

:10:55. > :10:58.before. I'm not really knowing too much what to expect. But I'm looking

:10:59. > :11:06.forward to it. If I can raise my game for this game, I'm sure playing

:11:07. > :11:12.against Ronnie in front of his home supporters, it will be a good

:11:13. > :11:17.atmosphere. Ronnie is one of those players that can get on top of you,

:11:18. > :11:21.you know. He has done it to me in the past and nobody else has done

:11:22. > :11:24.it. You are sat in your seat and you are almost not wanting to come back

:11:25. > :11:28.because you don't want to make a mess up of it again and he has done

:11:29. > :11:33.that against me a couple of times. It is not a nice place to be. But

:11:34. > :11:40.I'm going to try and make a bit more of an effort against him than I did

:11:41. > :11:50.in the UK. I've learned a bit from that. To beat Neil on that stage was

:11:51. > :11:53.massive for me and it was a step in the right direction, but Ronnie is a

:11:54. > :12:00.bit different to Neil. Different sort of game completely. Ronnie is

:12:01. > :12:06.lot for attacking -- more attacking and to beat him would be my greatest

:12:07. > :12:10.ever win. Please welcome a player making his

:12:11. > :12:14.first appearance at the Masters after 19 years as a pro, finally

:12:15. > :12:21.this man's hard work has been rewarded with a climb up to the

:12:22. > :12:31.world's top 16, a four time ranking event semi-finalist with one of the

:12:32. > :13:07.best walk on songs in the sport. He is The Milkman, Robert Milkins.

:13:08. > :13:10.MUSIC: "I'm A Cider Drinker" by The Wurzels.

:13:11. > :13:16.And his opponent, four times a winner of this title, the first of

:13:17. > :13:22.those in 1995 as a teenager, five times he has conquered The Crucible,

:13:23. > :13:27.he is the reigning world champion. Blink and you will miss him, The

:13:28. > :13:33.Rocket, Ronnie O'Sullivan. MUSIC: "A Man Should Better Himself"

:13:34. > :14:00.by George Lam. Cracking atmosphere and one of the

:14:01. > :14:06.Rolling Stones in the crowd. O'Sullivan one the first frame. He

:14:07. > :14:20.is trained by 55 points in the second.

:14:21. > :14:30.That is the perfect safety shot. He has loosened the red and he

:14:31. > :14:34.snookered Robert on all of them. The last time they met, of course, in

:14:35. > :14:45.the UK championship, Ronnie ran out a comfortable win 6-1. This could be

:14:46. > :14:51.a free ball. If the round passes the blue... He may accept the free

:14:52. > :14:59.ball. If he doesn't, he may have it replaced. He is playing for brown.

:15:00. > :15:07.It counts as a red. Then a colour to follow.

:15:08. > :15:14.He needed a little bit more of a pounds than he got.

:15:15. > :15:26.I think he got a fractional kick that slowed the cue ball down.

:15:27. > :15:37.These look easy but they are always tricky. He coped with it well.

:15:38. > :15:45.Six. I am not certain if the white is

:15:46. > :15:52.occupying the black spot. He wants to clear the black spot. Seven. I

:15:53. > :15:57.get the feeling Ronnie O'Sullivan is a shot away from making this a full

:15:58. > :16:04.gone conclusion of a clearance and that is, once again, silly to say

:16:05. > :16:07.that we are so used to him clearing the balls from seemingly impossible

:16:08. > :16:14.positions. A good split of these red...

:16:15. > :16:17.He just wants to get the correct angle on one of the colours before

:16:18. > :16:38.he decides to go into the reds. 14. I was thinking for a minute, it

:16:39. > :16:50.didn't pass the black. It clearly does. 20.

:16:51. > :17:05.If he can just get to the bottom bread, he doesn't even have to break

:17:06. > :17:12.into them. That is inch perfect. 29. If he is the right side of this

:17:13. > :17:18.black... It has just come a bit short. First mistake. He has got to

:17:19. > :17:22.hit this pretty hard to get this across.

:17:23. > :17:28.He is making it look pretty easy so far.

:17:29. > :17:36.Once he puts the red to the middle, he frees the other two reds. It is

:17:37. > :17:43.all about cue ball control and nobody does it better.

:17:44. > :17:54.Little bit short. He will have to go for the blue. He needs a good angle

:17:55. > :18:03.on the blue of this red. 45. That is just about inch perfect.

:18:04. > :18:10.Against normal players, the positional mistakes of Robert

:18:11. > :18:14.Milkins wouldn't have cost him so dearly but he is up against one of

:18:15. > :18:15.the most exceptional snooker players who has ever been and is making

:18:16. > :18:28.light work of this counterattack. Of course, what created this opening

:18:29. > :18:31.was the good safety shot he played when he flicked the red of the

:18:32. > :18:38.cushion, loosened the red and snookered Robert. This is the

:18:39. > :19:01.result. 66.

:19:02. > :19:15.Whilst this is exceptional to look at, it is also very clinical. 71.

:19:16. > :19:34.Superb! Absolutely superb! In the moment Robert Milkins ended his 42,

:19:35. > :19:36.a better one by Ronnie O'Sullivan got the opportunity and he clears up

:19:37. > :19:43.with a break of 84. 2-0. The crowd loving this. He is leading

:19:44. > :19:53.a game. I think he can get around the back

:19:54. > :19:58.of the black. He has got to catch this just right.

:19:59. > :20:04.If he catches it too thick he will hit the blue. If he misses the brand

:20:05. > :20:07.it will be perfect but he didn't. He hit the brown full in the face so

:20:08. > :20:21.here is a chance so close! So close! Unlucky. It

:20:22. > :20:28.couldn't have been any closer and not dropped.

:20:29. > :20:40.He tried to play it positively by playing it slow.

:20:41. > :20:59.Barring complete accidents, it looks like 3-0 here. Eight. Nine.

:21:00. > :21:09.So it is snooker is required. Ronnie 46 points in front, 43 Murnane in --

:21:10. > :21:10.43 remaining. I don't think Robert Milkins will be coming back to the

:21:11. > :21:12.table. It is a tough debut for Robert

:21:13. > :21:28.Milkins. He will obviously have been excited

:21:29. > :21:33.about the prospects and it is never nice when you don't fulfil your

:21:34. > :21:34.potential out there. This man makes it very difficult at the best of

:21:35. > :21:48.times. When they played in the UK

:21:49. > :21:54.championship, Ronnie ran out a 6-0 win. That was the last BBC

:21:55. > :22:12.tournament. Pot success for Ronnie is 91%. 76%

:22:13. > :22:16.Robert Milkins, particularly in his style of game, not good enough.

:22:17. > :22:27.One more frame to pay before the mid-session interval. I feel Robert

:22:28. > :22:31.will be desperate to get it on the board because that is another frame

:22:32. > :22:37.on the board for the Rocket and he now leads Robert Milkins by 3-0.

:22:38. > :22:57.Thank you. The fourth frame. Robert Milkins to break.

:22:58. > :23:16.He will want something for his efforts.

:23:17. > :23:24.Top-class safety shot from Ronnie O'Sullivan. If you got the cue ball

:23:25. > :23:28.a bit further over he would have put Robert Milkins into a knot of

:23:29. > :23:35.trouble. Likewise, a good shot from Robert. At first glance, that has

:23:36. > :23:45.presented a small problem for Ronnie.

:23:46. > :23:56.He got some said on that as well. As Robert Milkins was coming to the

:23:57. > :24:10.table he said, shot! A trademark long part. Beautifully played.

:24:11. > :24:16.Robert Milkins has a sporting attitude. That is a great shot as

:24:17. > :24:23.well. Never frightened to give his opponents praised at the table.

:24:24. > :24:31.His back is against the wall and he is opening up and going for his

:24:32. > :24:44.shots. It would have been handy if that had gone in. It was missable. I

:24:45. > :24:49.think what makes those shots more difficult, because you are not sure

:24:50. > :24:52.whether cue ball is going to finish and you have one eye on what colour

:24:53. > :24:53.you are going to be on but the most important thing is potting the

:24:54. > :25:08.ball. Now he is just going to sit and

:25:09. > :25:30.serve. He has and paste it... No, perfect.

:25:31. > :25:34.You will see this break open up. The black ball is pottable if he gets

:25:35. > :25:49.the correct angle. If you can't shift to read from the

:25:50. > :26:06.black spot, black goes on the blue. 11.

:26:07. > :26:23.12. We are not even at 50 minutes react

:26:24. > :26:32.and we are into the fourth frame. That wipes its feet! Because he hit

:26:33. > :26:38.it too thick, he nearly got an unwanted cannon.

:26:39. > :26:43.If you can get a good angle on the black, he is absolutely inch

:26:44. > :26:54.perfect. I would say the best player in the

:26:55. > :27:15.game for judging the weight of the shot at the moment.

:27:16. > :27:22.He is a bit betwixt and between here. He has got the red below the

:27:23. > :28:07.main pack. No problem, just the cannon of the

:28:08. > :28:13.second red. There is a red available. Whether he can get on

:28:14. > :28:27.that... If not, he may play they can then. -- the cannon.

:28:28. > :28:36.It could have worked out better. I don't care how good you are, when

:28:37. > :28:45.you go for a red new always need a bit of luck.

:28:46. > :28:57.But he is not missing much now, is he?

:28:58. > :29:00.The general level of positional play from Ronnie O'Sullivan at the speed

:29:01. > :29:04.he plays with is phenomenal. 14 seconds a shot. And rarely does he

:29:05. > :29:15.play a bad positional shot. Once again, normal service has been

:29:16. > :29:44.resumed. The canon cannon into that red. He

:29:45. > :29:50.can concentrate on the pink and the blue. 56 points ahead. Just a red

:29:51. > :29:57.and a colour needed to go into the mid-session interval with a 4-0

:29:58. > :30:12.lead. Yes, he is putting on a bit of a masterclass here tonight.

:30:13. > :30:17.Don't think for one minute that that red on the side cushion is going to

:30:18. > :30:28.be a problem in stopping him from making a century break here.

:30:29. > :30:44.Well, he packed the Alexandra Palace this evening. This is spush superb

:30:45. > :30:48.stuff. He looked focussed. He really looked focussed, but to me, he

:30:49. > :30:51.looked focussed since his return at the World Championship last year. He

:30:52. > :30:55.just seems a little bit more into it. I think having that year out. I

:30:56. > :31:00.think he really missed the game and if you played this well, why

:31:01. > :31:02.wouldn't you? But he will need a double and even for Ronnie, these

:31:03. > :31:17.aren't certain. Well, unlucky. He did see the

:31:18. > :31:20.century, but we have seen a wonderful four frames. Robert

:31:21. > :31:26.Milkins had his chances and Ronnie O'Sullivan marches on. The

:31:27. > :31:30.mid-session interval he leads 4-0. The quickest frame of the match so

:31:31. > :31:38.far under nine minutes. Into the second, Ronnie O'Sullivan to play.

:31:39. > :31:50.He has to be careful with the pink here. Oh, he has misjudged this.

:31:51. > :32:02.REFEREE: A miss. Robert can get through to the red just above the

:32:03. > :32:08.black. And the perfect angle on the black should he wish to open up this

:32:09. > :32:17.frame. He couldn't have played it any better. Robert Milkins couldn't

:32:18. > :32:23.have played that any better. He hit the pink perfectly. A bit unlucky

:32:24. > :32:27.how the balls are split. OK, obviously when you play that shot,

:32:28. > :32:37.you are pushing balls towards the black. But look what he has been

:32:38. > :32:42.left with. That wasn't easy. It wasn't so much the pot, the pot was

:32:43. > :32:46.probably OK, but he was trying to control it by playing it softly for

:32:47. > :32:48.the blue. If he hit it harder, it probably would have been an easier

:32:49. > :33:01.pot. A bit of a misjudgement from Ronnie

:33:02. > :33:05.O'Sullivan there. He thought he could get the cue ball further up

:33:06. > :33:11.the table even though sometimes the cue ball can still have a bit of top

:33:12. > :33:12.spin on once it starts to return down the table and that top spin

:33:13. > :33:31.slows it up. A missable blue. His potting has certainly come in in

:33:32. > :33:43.the last few frames. He was down at 20%. It is now up to 60%.

:33:44. > :33:48.He could have played for the black off that red, but it is so crowded

:33:49. > :33:58.around the black spot that he is going to try and clear a few reds

:33:59. > :34:01.from that before playing the black. And even work on the pink which goes

:34:02. > :34:16.into the middle and the corner. Well, a little cannon on the red

:34:17. > :34:26.just above the black. Just to clear a little bit more. Does that go?

:34:27. > :34:30.Yes, it does. Oh, it is perfect. He will be a little bit disappointed

:34:31. > :34:38.with that, leaving himself hampered. He shouldn't miss the black, but he

:34:39. > :34:44.won't want to be hampered and it made him play a poor positional

:34:45. > :34:46.shot. OK, he is on this red to the corner, but it is thinner than he

:34:47. > :35:02.would have liked. He is just hanging on to position

:35:03. > :35:04.here. Trusting to luck somewhat. Once again another missable shot,

:35:05. > :35:21.but he looked in good form. The red to the right corner.

:35:22. > :35:26.Worrying times for Robert Milkins. He is on the brink of 5-0 here.

:35:27. > :35:27.Ronnie O'Sullivan needs a couple of positional shots and he is home and

:35:28. > :35:43.dry. And he managed to control the cue

:35:44. > :35:55.ball and just stopped it short of the red.

:35:56. > :36:03.And now, you would expect him to win the frame. Robert, well he had his

:36:04. > :36:09.chance. He potted the blue and he hit the pink really well, and we

:36:10. > :36:11.have just passed the hour mark. He could have been left with an easier

:36:12. > :36:26.red to continue with. This was it. Everything looked good.

:36:27. > :36:31.And the black looked tied up a little bit, but as it happened, are

:36:32. > :36:35.it would have been available into the right corner, but playing the

:36:36. > :36:47.red he did slowly with the rest just caught it a fraction too thick.

:36:48. > :36:56.Robert Milkins was at 15, and he slowed down a bit, but Ronnie

:36:57. > :36:59.keeping it up at 14. The last hope for Robert Milkins that Ronnie

:37:00. > :37:05.O'Sullivan is out of position on the blue. He left a bit further apart

:37:06. > :37:16.away from this red than he would have liked. You wouldn't expect him

:37:17. > :37:28.to miss this and convert the frame. Hoping beyond hope.

:37:29. > :37:37.Well, he will get another chance. So Ronnie O'Sullivan is back to his

:37:38. > :37:43.seat. 42 points the lead, but there is still 59 remaining. I get the

:37:44. > :37:50.feeling if Ronnie played that shot without having the ball cleaned, he

:37:51. > :37:54.would have potted it. A big shot for Robert Milkins. Ah, it was so close.

:37:55. > :38:01.I think that's the story of the evening so far, it is so near and

:38:02. > :38:05.yet so far. That wasn't a bad shot. He was that close to getting that

:38:06. > :38:12.in. It could have dropped. Just so close. It ducked into the top

:38:13. > :38:18.cushion and could have dropped. Pretty tight pockets. End of frame.

:38:19. > :38:22.5-0 and I don't think there is any way back, Robert Milkins has not

:38:23. > :38:26.shown any type of form tonight that's going to get him back into

:38:27. > :38:36.this match, unless Ronnie O'Sullivan completely takes his foot off the

:38:37. > :38:43.gas. In goes the black. 58 points the lead now. Just 43 remaining. And

:38:44. > :38:53.that will just mean that Robert Milkins will not get back to the

:38:54. > :39:05.table. It was a whitewash in the UK. You wouldn't bet against it in this

:39:06. > :39:16.competition. And just over an hour to get to that 5-0 scoreline.

:39:17. > :39:22.A clever little positional shot he pulled out there. He deliberately

:39:23. > :39:38.played for the yellow in the middle. I wonder if we have seen any other

:39:39. > :39:40.strange positional shots here. It doesn't look like it, but you never

:39:41. > :40:15.know. So in goes the black. It is 5-0.

:40:16. > :40:21.Robert Milkins had a couple of chances and didn't make them and

:40:22. > :40:28.Ronnie O'Sullivan just keeps getting stronger. Just one frame away now

:40:29. > :40:32.from a place in the second round. Ronnie Wood loves it. The crowd

:40:33. > :40:37.getting a lot of satisfaction this evening. Robert Milkins stuck at it

:40:38. > :40:42.and finally got off the mark with a break of 57. The crowd giving him a

:40:43. > :40:51.big cheer as he potted the blue and then he goes on to pot the pink

:40:52. > :40:56.showing his real fighting quality is Robert Milkins. Potting the pink. A

:40:57. > :41:01.very difficult evening for Robert Milkins. So Ronnie O'Sullivan just

:41:02. > :41:03.one frame away from victory and into the next, Robert Milkins is up

:41:04. > :41:23.against it again. A little bit of pressure on this

:41:24. > :41:29.shot, but it looks like he spotted a route in between pink and black and

:41:30. > :41:34.he got enough side spin also to play an excellent safety shot back.

:41:35. > :41:39.Robert Milkins maybe thinking for a moment he was going to attempt to

:41:40. > :41:50.play this as a pot safety. He chose the wiser option.

:41:51. > :42:12.A tempter for Ronnie O'Sullivan. Well, it couldn't have been much

:42:13. > :42:18.closer. A chance now for Robert. And he knocks his one in this. It is not

:42:19. > :42:24.an easy chance to get his second frame on the scoreboard. But he had

:42:25. > :42:28.a nice angle on the pink there. He has one of the reds into play. He

:42:29. > :42:33.has the one along the right and the one along the top cushion, but at

:42:34. > :42:54.least he is still in there with a chance. It would be some one visit

:42:55. > :42:59.clearance here. Awkward bridging. The odds against clearing up with

:43:00. > :43:19.both those reds on the cushions, but it is not impossible.

:43:20. > :43:24.These are tough shots. Particularly if you have to play them with any

:43:25. > :43:35.pace and he can't afford to miss this.

:43:36. > :43:46.I think that was asking for the impossible. Even Robert is laughing

:43:47. > :44:00.at that! We have seen some shots, but that was way out.

:44:01. > :44:09.He cue ball is close to the corner. Robert Milkins is getting help back

:44:10. > :44:27.into this match. No alarm bells are ringing and the moment.

:44:28. > :44:35.19 points ahead and he is looking for these two reds. Not tempted by

:44:36. > :45:02.the double that time. I think if Ronnie O'Sullivan plays

:45:03. > :45:11.the right tactical shots, he will be home and dry. But he has a risky

:45:12. > :45:17.shot here. That was well played. Here. I think you picked up, like I

:45:18. > :45:23.did, I get the feeling Robert Milkins has run his race. He played

:45:24. > :45:29.the red across the top cushion and the odds of getting that were very

:45:30. > :45:37.long. Just this red and a colour and that will be the race ran for Robert

:45:38. > :45:42.Milkins. He could have got easier draws on his debut at the Masters.

:45:43. > :45:51.Not sure what shot he played along that top cushion.

:45:52. > :45:57.It is irrelevant now, I suppose. Just rolling it in May have been an

:45:58. > :46:06.option. I think he played it and he tried to

:46:07. > :46:11.play it at pace. It was all or nothing and Ronnie had just missed a

:46:12. > :46:16.few. He has missed their but Robert Milkins game wasn't good enough. A

:46:17. > :46:22.standing ovation from a rolling stone for Ronnie O'Sullivan. He goes

:46:23. > :46:23.through to the second round with a few mistakes but looking good early

:46:24. > :46:36.on. He was our winner 6-1. I made a few mistakes but on the

:46:37. > :46:40.whole I felt pretty solid to night. I just had to wait and be patient,

:46:41. > :46:45.get some chances. Ronnie didn't play as well as he did

:46:46. > :46:50.in the UK. I was surprised I was getting chances but I didn't really

:46:51. > :46:57.do myself justice and I choked a bit, really, with the Masters. The

:46:58. > :47:00.atmosphere there was something different, one table in front of all

:47:01. > :47:06.those people. Playing Ronnie as well. I just didn't do myself

:47:07. > :47:11.justice at all. They are all top quality players in

:47:12. > :47:14.this tournament and any tournament, whoever is on their game will

:47:15. > :47:21.probably go on and win the title so it is just a matter of form.

:47:22. > :47:25.Well placed Ronnie O'Sullivan. Let us just showed you how the draw is

:47:26. > :47:32.looking. Mark Selby is through and will play John Higgins in the last

:47:33. > :47:41.eight. Marco Fu beat Judd Trump and he will they Shaun Murphy. The UK

:47:42. > :47:43.champion, Neil Robertson, plays Mark Allen tomorrow for the right to play

:47:44. > :47:50.Stephen Maguire. The Rocket is also through after a

:47:51. > :48:05.stunning win over Robert Milkins. Hazel is next with extended

:48:06. > :48:12.highlights. Then we are back at one o'clock here on BBC Two. We will see

:48:13. > :48:18.Neil Robertson taking on Mark Allen. Lots of snooker ahead. See you then.

:48:19. > :48:20.I for now. -- by for now.
