:00:46. > :00:49.Good evening. In tournaments gone by we would have started with music

:00:49. > :00:54.from Elgar, paintings by Constable, a photo of Terry Butcher's bandaged

:00:54. > :00:57.head and the stirring words of Lord Nelson. But England doesn't expect

:00:58. > :01:07.like it used to. It's quite refreshing, and, who knows, it

:01:08. > :01:41.

:01:41. > :01:49.You are England. Forget the past, dare to dream. Dictate the play. Be

:01:49. > :01:55.the general we know you can be. You'll take crosses, you will stop

:01:55. > :02:05.shots, you will command your area. You are the waltz that must not be

:02:05. > :02:08.

:02:08. > :02:17.breached. Beachell man, pit your man. Never give in and never stop.

:02:17. > :02:27.Take them on, show your talent. Take your chance. Defend until the

:02:27. > :02:28.

:02:28. > :02:32.England fans are heavily outnumbered by Swedish supporters,

:02:32. > :02:38.by an anticipated four to one.The Swedes, of course, are based in

:02:38. > :02:46.Kiev, whereas England have flown in from Poland. A slight away game

:02:46. > :02:54.feel you suspect. It is Sweden against England. Here with us are

:02:54. > :02:59.Alan Hansen, Alan Shearer and Lee Dixon. Kick-off has been delayed

:02:59. > :03:06.and till 8pm because the other crane has been selected to a

:03:06. > :03:14.weather to play -- too aware that delay after violent electrical

:03:14. > :03:24.storm. They kicked off just after 6pm and are now in the second half.

:03:24. > :03:36.

:03:36. > :03:42.We will bring you the goals from that game later in the programme.

:03:42. > :03:47.England against Sweden, it is a big occasion. I think if England play

:03:47. > :03:52.well, they win. I think the manager and the players think that. I know

:03:52. > :03:57.it is not the best England side we have ever seen but I still think we

:03:57. > :04:02.are better than Sweden. I was disappointed in the first game with

:04:02. > :04:07.Sweden. Defensively they are very poor. If they can get the right

:04:07. > :04:13.service to Andy Carroll and Welbeck they will have the joy tonight.

:04:13. > :04:22.Mixed opinions about England's first performance. The French was

:04:22. > :04:28.gaping. They can certainly improve. There is a lot of improvement

:04:28. > :04:36.possible going forward. We had one effort on target last night and two

:04:36. > :04:43.off-target, which is not good enough. Our wide play was pretty

:04:43. > :04:49.poor. The boys into Welbeck and Ashley Young were poor. Tonight, it

:04:49. > :04:59.delivery will be important. We will look at that a bit later.

:04:59. > :05:01.

:05:01. > :05:05.Defensively, they were not really tasted the other night. -- tested.

:05:05. > :05:10.England have to improve on the completion rate of their passes.

:05:10. > :05:14.They have to improve all around. It was a creditable draw against the

:05:14. > :05:19.French but the optimism has been lifted because Roy Hodgson has

:05:19. > :05:25.changed the team said there is a different feel about the set-up.

:05:25. > :05:30.Can we get the balls into the box? Now Ashley Young is playing on the

:05:30. > :05:34.left-hand side. He has threatened up, which is good. I think we

:05:34. > :05:39.should be expectant because I think this Swedish team is definitely

:05:39. > :05:46.beatable. The important thing in the first game is to get a result,

:05:46. > :05:56.so that is out of the way. Roy Hodgson is renowned for being

:05:56. > :06:02.cautious, but I would be aggressive here. He has spent 40 years of his

:06:02. > :06:08.career being quite cautious and now he is throwing in two forwards!

:06:08. > :06:12.would be expected if it was not Sweden. We have not beaten them

:06:12. > :06:17.competitively in seven games. But I am delighted to see Ashley Young on

:06:17. > :06:21.the left-hand side because I think that is his best position. He did

:06:21. > :06:26.not have his best game the other night for England. He did not get

:06:26. > :06:31.into the game. I think tonight we will see him get that ball, it move

:06:31. > :06:41.it on to his right foot and whippet in. It is made for Andy Carroll,

:06:41. > :06:41.

:06:41. > :06:48.this game. He will do an excellent job in a defensive role at set

:06:49. > :06:55.pieces, as well. He was in his best form at the end of the season. He

:06:55. > :07:00.looked stronger, fitter than he was at the start of the season. It is a

:07:00. > :07:04.very sort of old-fashioned English style. When you look at the likes

:07:04. > :07:09.of Spain you had 800 passes against the Irish. This is basically saying

:07:09. > :07:14.we cannot play that way, let us play our style. We cannot play the

:07:14. > :07:18.way Spain do, not many teams can. We are not good enough to play that

:07:18. > :07:23.way and keep the ball. Yes, we have to keep the ball at times when it

:07:23. > :07:27.is necessary and pass it a little bit better. Yes, get the ball out

:07:27. > :07:32.wide and get it in, because that is where we will cause problems. In

:07:32. > :07:35.this competition they have been a lot of goals from wide positions.

:07:35. > :07:42.For Welbeck and Andy Carroll should be rubbing their hands tonight.

:07:42. > :07:50.What you make of the Swedish starting line-up? They have changed

:07:50. > :07:57.at centre-back, with Granqvist going out to the right and Jonas

:07:57. > :08:00.Olsson coming in at centre back. They could not decide in the first

:08:00. > :08:06.game whether they were going to play deep or higher up and that is

:08:06. > :08:15.something they need to sort out early on. And that will also effect

:08:15. > :08:22.the runs from Andy Carroll and Welbeck. Jonas Olsson, West Brom,

:08:22. > :08:28.average player. Martin Olsson, relegated Blackburn, for pace and

:08:28. > :08:32.impetuous. Surely you're going to get some joy it goes that a lot! I

:08:32. > :08:37.thought he looked bemused there for a minute. I always look bemused

:08:37. > :08:43.when you speak, most of the time! We can hear from the England

:08:43. > :08:49.manager. Andy Carroll in and Dr Jane blamed

:08:49. > :08:57.on the bench, tell a shot thinking about that -- Oxlade-Chamberlain.

:08:57. > :09:01.It is important we get another out and out front player on the field

:09:01. > :09:06.tonight and I wanted Ashley Oxlade- Chamberlain to go back to his

:09:06. > :09:11.original position out wide, and also a view towards Wayne Rooney

:09:11. > :09:15.coming back into the team on Tuesday. He did very well in the

:09:16. > :09:20.first game, I thought it was a good idea to take him out and give him a

:09:20. > :09:24.chance from the bench rather than from the start. Andy Carroll is the

:09:24. > :09:29.most successful aerial combatant in the Premier League, so was then

:09:29. > :09:34.element of watching the Sweden game against Ukraine and thinking Andy

:09:34. > :09:38.Carroll would work well? I think she will be useful to us in both

:09:38. > :09:44.penalty boxes. With a team with the height and strength of Sweden we do

:09:44. > :09:49.need as much aerial power as we can have, both in their penalty area

:09:49. > :09:52.and empowers. So there was an element of thinking like that.

:09:52. > :09:56.Going for the win is vitally important because you do not want

:09:56. > :10:00.to be chasing a win against Ukraine in the Ukraine in the last game.

:10:00. > :10:04.Ideally not, but I am sure Sweden will be having the same thoughts,

:10:04. > :10:08.they do not want to be needing a win against France in the last game

:10:08. > :10:12.to keep themselves in the tournament. It is a very tough

:10:12. > :10:17.group and a very even group. I have been watching the first half of the

:10:17. > :10:21.other game and it is very even. We need to play well tonight to make a

:10:21. > :10:25.difference. The rain has caused a 15 minute delay here, are you

:10:25. > :10:29.bothered about that? particularly. I don't fully

:10:29. > :10:33.understand why it was necessary but no doubt there was a reason for it.

:10:33. > :10:37.We were here at the Stadium in good time anyway, it just means we have

:10:37. > :10:46.a bit longer to wait before kick- off. We have been waiting all day

:10:46. > :10:53.so 50 minutes should not hurt. -- 15 minutes. England have never lost

:10:54. > :10:58.a game that has been delayed by 15 minutes elsewhere! He seems very

:10:58. > :11:03.controlled in this role. Absolutely, he is saying the right things at

:11:03. > :11:07.the right time. If he does not get out of this group he will get

:11:07. > :11:15.annihilated, but I think he will get out of the group. He has picked

:11:15. > :11:22.Andy Carroll up front. If you are doing that, you have to get Welbeck

:11:22. > :11:27.close to him and do not get obsessed with chipping it up into

:11:27. > :11:33.the air. You need variation in attack because you have to play as

:11:33. > :11:36.well as using him. And you have to get a box into the ball from

:11:36. > :11:43.deliveries. That is why because he suffered at Liverpool, when he did

:11:43. > :11:49.play they did not get balls into the box. And do not forget Ibrahim

:11:49. > :11:57.pitch at the other end. I have news for you that France have taken the

:11:57. > :12:05.lead. They have scored two quick goals. The first from Menez and

:12:05. > :12:14.then another from Cabaye. That takes France above Ukraine. Let us

:12:14. > :12:20.get a sense of the mood inside the Olympic Stadium in Kiev.

:12:20. > :12:25.It is a fantastic atmosphere. A bit blue and yellow at the moment.

:12:25. > :12:28.There are going to be a lot more Swedish fans than English ones.

:12:28. > :12:32.There certainly are but those English fans will make plenty of

:12:32. > :12:37.noise. Great news for them that Andy Carroll is coming into the

:12:37. > :12:42.side. That is sending out a message to the players, let us go and

:12:42. > :12:47.attack and caused problems to Sweden. Do you think you have this

:12:47. > :12:52.in his mind all the way, or did the performance last night under way

:12:52. > :12:59.Shevchenko broke through the Swedish defence affected it?

:12:59. > :13:09.Without doubt. Andy Carroll is also in the air. It is very call tonight,

:13:09. > :13:09.

:13:09. > :13:15.we will see a high tempo, English performance. Ibrahimovic is an

:13:15. > :13:20.awesome player and the outstanding Swedish player. How would you

:13:20. > :13:25.defend against him? I would have taken an no-nonsense approach. At

:13:25. > :13:32.times he was like Eric Cantona in that game, he just rises out of the

:13:32. > :13:36.game. He has an arrogance to his game. They need to get tight and

:13:36. > :13:41.protect from the midfield. I have seen the players close-up and they

:13:41. > :13:46.are really up for it. That seven competitive matches would know

:13:46. > :13:54.victory, D take any stock with that? No, we just have to look

:13:54. > :14:04.ahead. I am pretty confident. I think we will be fine, we just have

:14:04. > :14:21.

:14:21. > :14:26.For Roy Hodgson, tonight represents a trip down memory lane. It all

:14:26. > :14:35.started in Sweden, 25 years ago, taking on a team in transition.

:14:35. > :14:45.Sound familiar? Of course, he was young. I was all so young at that

:14:45. > :14:49.

:14:49. > :14:57.time. 1976-1980, two league titles with hushed up. From 1985, Malmo,

:14:57. > :15:04.five league titles. He is a great teacher and instructor. Swedish

:15:04. > :15:11.football was changed for ever. 1976 team, despite the fact that it

:15:11. > :15:18.is 36 years ago, I can still name every player. Is this your first

:15:18. > :15:25.club ever as a trainer? Yes, full- time. Roy Hodgson arrived at how

:15:25. > :15:31.much dad a young man from Croydon, recommended by a long-term friend

:15:31. > :15:36.Bob Houghton. -- at Halmstat. It was the perfect platform for Roy

:15:36. > :15:39.Hodgson to implement his new ideas. At that time, Halmstat was a team

:15:39. > :15:46.which played in the Second Division. The next year they got promoted,

:15:46. > :15:48.then they got relegated again. We were not a really good team. The

:15:48. > :15:54.Swedish players did not speak English so it was really important

:15:54. > :15:57.that he could speak Swedish. After two weeks, he could say a lot of

:15:57. > :16:07.words in Swedish, and after a couple of months, he spoke perfect

:16:07. > :16:10.Swedish. He changed everything. When we had the training sessions,

:16:10. > :16:14.he wanted us to train with precision, how to attack, how to

:16:14. > :16:18.defend. We were talking a lot during the training session. We

:16:18. > :16:22.were standing still and he was moving us around like chess players.

:16:22. > :16:26.When it came to the matches, we knew exactly how to play, and we

:16:26. > :16:29.surprised a lot of teams with the way we were playing. We were

:16:29. > :16:39.playing like we do today. So, he was 10 years ahead of everybody

:16:39. > :16:44.

:16:44. > :16:51.He supports the players so much, we felt like we were a big stars, and

:16:51. > :16:56.that was completely new for us. Suddenly, we could be the stars of

:16:56. > :17:01.Halmstat. He did a great job, and we were the champions. In 1985,

:17:01. > :17:06.after a brief, unsuccessful stint back in England at Bristol City,

:17:06. > :17:10.Roy Hodgson went back to Sweden, to join Malmo, 90 miles down the coast

:17:10. > :17:18.from Halmstat. He was there for five seasons, a time which still

:17:18. > :17:23.burns brightly in the memory of everybody at the club. We were a

:17:23. > :17:27.very, very young side, with no experience, and he made us into a

:17:27. > :17:37.team which won the Swedish league five times and a very successful

:17:37. > :17:43.

:17:43. > :17:49.club. He is very passionate, a great instructor, teacher. He is

:17:49. > :17:54.really good at getting the best out of each player. Cash in some corner

:17:54. > :18:02.at a foreign stadium will -- which will always be a piece of England,

:18:02. > :18:09.in this case, "Roy's Corner", at the Malmo Stadium, a testament to

:18:09. > :18:16.how fondly he is remembered. think a lot of people, including

:18:16. > :18:23.myself, see him as the man behind Sweden's success in the 1994 World

:18:23. > :18:27.Cup. The backbone of that team used to play for Roy Hodgson at Malmo.

:18:27. > :18:31.It was this style which has enshrined why Hodgson in Swedish

:18:31. > :18:35.footballing folklore. Along with Bob Houghton, he introduced methods

:18:35. > :18:42.and ideas which are now known in Sweden as the English school, a

:18:42. > :18:48.school which influenced a whole generation. When Roy Hodgson came,

:18:48. > :18:55.it was more a German style of playing in Sweden. But he changed

:18:55. > :19:01.all of that. First of all, we moved to zonal defence, using the offside

:19:01. > :19:07.all the time on the pitch. That was really a new thing coming to Sweden.

:19:07. > :19:13.Most of what is basic for me still as a coach I took from that, the

:19:13. > :19:18.pre-season training, how to organise the team. I also believe

:19:18. > :19:22.more in being a hands-on coach, like Roy Hodgson. I like to be out

:19:22. > :19:25.on the pitch, working with the players. The teacher of the English

:19:25. > :19:28.school taking on the English manager's job will be watched with

:19:28. > :19:34.interest by everybody in Swedish football. His former pupils are

:19:34. > :19:38.confident he will get the best results. England will be favourites

:19:38. > :19:43.this time because Mr Hodgson knows the Scandinavian football, he knows

:19:43. > :19:46.the Swedish players and so on better than the other coaches.

:19:46. > :19:51.Hodgson can be really, really good for the English national team. It

:19:51. > :19:56.is bad when it comes to the Swedish national team. It is nice they have

:19:56. > :20:00.not totally forgotten me, just as I have not forgotten them. So, now

:20:00. > :20:05.you know who's to blame for Sweden constantly beating England over all

:20:05. > :20:09.those years! It is great to see. He is such a passionate coach, one of

:20:09. > :20:14.those coaches, I think, which the players look to and listen to. If

:20:14. > :20:18.you have got a coach like that, you're half way there. That is what

:20:18. > :20:23.he commands. The way he has gone about his job and dealt with the

:20:23. > :20:28.problems that he has had, and so far in the tournament, it has been

:20:28. > :20:32.very calm and collected, and that rubs off on the players. A couple

:20:32. > :20:35.of years ago, we had him in Cape Town for a couple of years, and his

:20:35. > :20:40.knowledge of the players and the teams from all around the world was

:20:40. > :20:46.incredible. Tactically, he was so spot on. He would instantly get the

:20:46. > :20:51.respect of the players. Absolutely, the players can smell within the

:20:51. > :20:56.first 30 seconds if you know what you're talking about. Like Alan

:20:56. > :20:59.says, when we were speaking to him in South Africa, his knowledge of

:20:59. > :21:03.football is unsurpassed. His tactics, whatever he does, he has

:21:03. > :21:06.always been spot on. He gets the more organised, he has a great

:21:06. > :21:11.ability to get a together this in the squad, which is half the battle.

:21:11. > :21:14.The one thing he will no is that he has got two strikers, and they will

:21:14. > :21:17.need some service. We struggled to get into the opposition half in the

:21:17. > :21:22.first game, but they need to make the most of having two centre-

:21:22. > :21:29.forwards. We did not do that the other night at all. Our wide play

:21:29. > :21:36.was pretty poor. We did not get any service into the box. That will be

:21:36. > :21:39.key tonight. On this occasion, Milner makes a great run down the

:21:39. > :21:42.right-hand side. The defender is nine yards away, he has got the

:21:42. > :21:46.chance to put it into the middle. Ashley Young is waiting in the

:21:46. > :21:51.middle. But watch what happens. He checks back on his other foot. By

:21:51. > :21:54.the time he decides to cross it, there are five defenders in the box.

:21:54. > :21:57.He could have done that three He could have done that three

:21:57. > :22:03.seconds ago. Exactly the same thing happens here. You need to create a

:22:03. > :22:08.yard. He could have crossed it, but no, he chooses not to. It makes it

:22:08. > :22:11.very difficult for the strikers to time their runs. Absolutely. But

:22:11. > :22:16.this is what happens when you do deliver a good ball. It is into the

:22:16. > :22:20.right area, and it gives you the chance to attack it, as Lescott did.

:22:20. > :22:26.If we do that, we will create. Ukraine did it the other night,

:22:26. > :22:30.with Shevchenko. He is not quick, but he gets half a yard, puts it

:22:30. > :22:36.into the danger area and says to the forward, go and get on to the

:22:36. > :22:40.end of it. Shevchenko did that. Shevchenko's not renowned for his

:22:40. > :22:44.great heading ability. So, if you get the ball into the area, as a

:22:44. > :22:47.forward, you need to know that when you make that run, the ball will be

:22:47. > :22:51.coming in. You're not going to check back, you're going to get it

:22:51. > :22:55.into the middle. Welbeck will be feeling good tonight, because he

:22:55. > :22:59.will have a bit of support, he will not be up on his own, fighting two

:22:59. > :23:03.centre-halves, like he was the other night. I think it is a big

:23:03. > :23:06.game for Welbeck. He was impressive in the first game, but the most

:23:06. > :23:10.important thing about playing alongside Andy Carroll is to

:23:10. > :23:14.support him, do not leave him isolated. But I think Welbeck will

:23:14. > :23:18.do that well. For Manchester United, he has been playing different roles

:23:18. > :23:24.during the season. I think he has got the football intelligence to

:23:24. > :23:29.got the football intelligence to play this system. I think he will

:23:29. > :23:33.get some join off Andy Carroll. They will get the supply. When

:23:33. > :23:38.Ashley Young cut back on to his right foot, if he is playing on the

:23:38. > :23:42.left, it is very difficult for the back four to hold a certain line.

:23:42. > :23:47.As well as Oxlade-Chamberlain did the other night, he did not get any

:23:47. > :23:51.balls into the box. Yes, he worked his socks off, but tonight, with

:23:51. > :23:57.Ashley Young on the left-hand side, you will see him checking back onto

:23:57. > :24:03.the right foot and getting the ball in. England's top scorer against

:24:03. > :24:10.Sweden in history is Stan Mortensen. He retired in 1958! Alan, what was

:24:10. > :24:15.he like to play against?! I will tell you what, he was pretty quick!

:24:15. > :24:19.But like the boys are saying, if you look at the Swedish back four,

:24:19. > :24:23.the right back as well, he struggled at Wigan. He is playing

:24:23. > :24:29.against Ashley Young. So, if you get the ball to him quickly, he can

:24:29. > :24:33.just get it into the box and its in the back of the net. I also think,

:24:33. > :24:38.when we have seen tall guys in the team, like Peter Crouch, with

:24:38. > :24:42.England, we have a tendency to kick it long, and we become obsessed

:24:42. > :24:46.with that. Yes, Andy Carroll can deal with that, but he can also

:24:46. > :24:52.play on the deck. He has got a great left foot, and a very good

:24:52. > :24:56.touch. So he also needs the ball delivered into his feet. That's

:24:56. > :25:02.where Steven Gerrard needs to take control of the situation, make sure

:25:02. > :25:06.that he is passing 20 yards balls. It is interesting with Steven

:25:06. > :25:11.Gerrard, he seems to be playing more disciplined than ever. He is

:25:11. > :25:16.32, he just cannot get from box to box like he used to. He has said

:25:16. > :25:21.himself, he has got to control his energy, he has got to time his runs.

:25:21. > :25:25.I don't think you will ever see him making those 50 yard runs any more.

:25:25. > :25:30.When we're going 4-4-2, and if you're trying to get players in

:25:30. > :25:33.wide positions, he cannot go cavalier. No, but I think they will

:25:33. > :25:37.be more cavalier tonight than they were against France. Let's face it,

:25:37. > :25:42.Sweden have not got the ability which the French have got,

:25:42. > :25:47.certainly in midfield anyway. He has got Scott Parker to cover him,

:25:47. > :25:50.so at the right time, and he gets that with experience, he can run

:25:51. > :25:55.past the centre-forward, as we have seen him do over the years. It will

:25:55. > :25:59.be interesting to see how England to play. We have been speaking

:25:59. > :26:03.about Andy Carroll, and not pinging it up to him, but it is the English

:26:03. > :26:07.mentality. When you have got it in the back four, people like John

:26:07. > :26:12.Terry, he will think, just check it up in the air. But if they start

:26:12. > :26:17.doing that, they will be in trouble. Let's get a Swedish perspective on

:26:17. > :26:27.tonight's match. Jake Humphrey and Martin Keown caught up with former

:26:27. > :26:38.

:26:38. > :26:42.What are your memories of Sweden- England matches? Do you see it as

:26:42. > :26:48.an achievement not to have allowed England to be due in all of this

:26:48. > :26:51.time? Yes, sure. I think we beat you in Stockholm, then we had a lot

:26:51. > :26:57.of drawers, a new beat us at Wembley. We feel that is not a good

:26:57. > :27:02.thing, even though it was a friendly! But I loved the games.

:27:02. > :27:07.They were great occasions. There is something quite nous about taking

:27:07. > :27:10.somebody on who is a teammate, and then you go back to your club and

:27:10. > :27:20.talk about it. It does not get forgotten easily. Not when it is

:27:20. > :27:21.

:27:21. > :27:26.Martin! You were able to have the last laugh in the face of the

:27:26. > :27:32.English media. Yes, always, before the games, the English media would

:27:32. > :27:42.be saying, we're going to win easy. What do the Swedish media say

:27:42. > :27:44.

:27:44. > :27:47.before you play the English? You do not want to know! I suppose the big

:27:47. > :27:52.concern for the Swedish will be the way you defended in that first

:27:52. > :28:01.match? Definitely, they struggled on set-pieces. We will be concerned

:28:01. > :28:05.about that. We know that England are very good at set-pieces. What

:28:05. > :28:11.would Roy Hodgson have said to the England guys, having watched

:28:11. > :28:14.Sweden's first match? Certainly their defence is vulnerable.

:28:14. > :28:18.England need to start believing that they can win a game of

:28:18. > :28:22.football at this level. It is OK to be organised, but it is the next

:28:22. > :28:26.step now. This match is massive for Sweden, not just because it is

:28:26. > :28:30.England, but because they lost the first game. They will be feeling

:28:30. > :28:36.that if they lose tonight, they will be out. Can they do it?

:28:36. > :28:39.course, I hope so. You do not believe they can do it, do you?

:28:39. > :28:47.I believe they can do it, definitely. The Swedish have a big

:28:47. > :28:52.belief, but it is better to be modest. You should be telling us

:28:52. > :28:57.you're going to win easy! What is the danger from Sweden, how do you

:28:57. > :29:00.think they will set up? The other night, Lescott and John Terry did

:29:00. > :29:04.not have anybody to pick up, which can be a problem. Tonight, they

:29:04. > :29:06.will have different problems. You have got Ibrahimovic and Elmander

:29:06. > :29:10.have got Ibrahimovic and Elmander up front. This was against the

:29:10. > :29:17.French, and you can see the back four, nobody within 10 yards of

:29:17. > :29:23.them. All in good position, eventually, the French go down the

:29:24. > :29:29.side, and will have a sudden, Franck Ribery is in the box. The

:29:29. > :29:33.centre backs, not occupied at all. This time, only one to mark. There

:29:33. > :29:37.is no runner behind. Lescott can go nice and tight on Benzema. They

:29:37. > :29:43.have got cover behind, and consequently France are forced to

:29:43. > :29:47.shoot from distance. Not a problem. Here, again, look at them. The back

:29:47. > :29:51.four, three in midfield. But when they play tonight, Elmander will be

:29:51. > :29:58.up front, he will be there. Just in front of him will be Ibrahimovic.

:29:58. > :30:02.They have got to work out who will be picking who up. This is against

:30:02. > :30:06.Ukraine the other night. You can see Elmander up front, occupying

:30:06. > :30:13.the two centre backs. You can see the run from Ibrahimovic. All of a

:30:14. > :30:17.sudden, the defence has got problems. How do you cope with him?

:30:17. > :30:23.This was a great shot, created by himself, just by moving into that

:30:23. > :30:33.space. This time, he sucks the other centre-back in, creating the

:30:33. > :30:45.

:30:45. > :30:50.We have had numerous conversations over the years about Ibrahimovic.

:30:50. > :31:00.He has 11 tattoos on his back and one of them says only God can judge

:31:00. > :31:01.

:31:01. > :31:04.me - well, only Scott and Alan Hansen! There are two camps, or one

:31:04. > :31:12.that thinks he is terrific and the other that things she is not

:31:12. > :31:18.convincing. I would still be in the latter. He is good in the air, good

:31:18. > :31:25.pace, but I think he is a hit-and- miss player. But he hits a lot. His

:31:25. > :31:30.record stands with the best. Anyone that does not like him, look at his

:31:30. > :31:34.record, it is fantastic. At international for club level. He

:31:34. > :31:42.has the style which is lazy at times, but he has a good arrogance

:31:42. > :31:48.about him and great touch, whether he is just in the hole, but Teddy

:31:48. > :31:51.Sheringham role, he has a great shot, but it is just that little

:31:51. > :32:00.bit of Lacey's tell that he has, which means he does not please

:32:00. > :32:04.everyone. -- lazy style. We are all agreed, he is always a danger!

:32:04. > :32:14.can bet your bottom dollar he will be mentioned by Roy Hodgson this

:32:14. > :32:15.

:32:15. > :32:19.week. We can go back to the Olympic When I spoke to you the other night

:32:19. > :32:24.it you were quietly pleased about the result but a bit disappointed

:32:24. > :32:29.about the performance. You wanted to see more attack. We you see that

:32:29. > :32:34.from this line-up? You have Andy Carroll in and he is a target man.

:32:34. > :32:40.He needs service. I would like to see Ashley Young and James Milner

:32:40. > :32:44.playing higher up the field. You do not want them on top of the full-

:32:44. > :32:49.back. From past experience, I know what it is like when you play for

:32:49. > :32:53.England, you end up playing on top of your full backs. Andy Carroll

:32:53. > :32:58.need service in the last 25 yards of the pitch, not from the halfway

:32:58. > :33:03.line. If you play the winners, you need to get round the full-back and

:33:03. > :33:07.that is where the danger starts. you think we will see Stephen

:33:08. > :33:12.Gerrard getting further forward? think he will have to be reserved

:33:12. > :33:18.on his runs. He will have to look at it, he has a lot of

:33:18. > :33:25.responsibility, but he understands the game very well. Confident?

:33:25. > :33:32.I think Sweden are a bit dodgy at the back. But they have Ibrahimovic,

:33:32. > :33:42.who is a very good player and plays just in that hole off the striker.

:33:42. > :33:44.

:33:44. > :33:49.Just to remind you that the game is a late kick-off. It is now and

:33:49. > :33:55.8:00pm kick-off because of severe weather delaying the other game

:33:55. > :34:03.been played this evening, and France are still ahead in that game

:34:03. > :34:06.by two goals. There are reckoned to be up to 5000 England fans in Kiev

:34:06. > :34:10.tonight and Dan Walker has caught up with one of them, as familiar

:34:10. > :34:17.face. Look here you bump into when you

:34:17. > :34:22.have a wander around here, Noel Gallagher. You are in Kiev with

:34:22. > :34:28.your band, is this plant or a coincidence? It is a coincidence

:34:28. > :34:32.that England are here at the same time as me! No, it has been

:34:32. > :34:36.meticulously planned that we would try and get out here and do as much

:34:36. > :34:41.as we could win the tournament was on and UEFA have given us some

:34:41. > :34:48.money to play at the fan park, so it is all good. Are you a fan of

:34:48. > :34:53.the way England are playing? Will they do well at the tournament?

:34:53. > :34:58.Doing well, I would think, would be to get out of the group. Hopefully

:34:58. > :35:02.getting a favourable draw. I think he can be done but I do not think

:35:02. > :35:07.anybody expects England to set the tournament alight. We have not got

:35:07. > :35:14.the numbers of great players that you need. I think England will be

:35:14. > :35:21.fine if it is a draw they are leading, but if they have to chase

:35:21. > :35:30.the game it will beat off. Manchester City taking over the

:35:30. > :35:34.world, Joleon Lescott, Joe Hart... We are doing good. It is great to

:35:34. > :35:44.see that the appeal of Manchester City is spreading around the globe.

:35:44. > :35:49.It is about time! We have had eight days of football

:35:49. > :35:59.and 45 goals. If England can still win it. I'm starting to enjoy

:35:59. > :36:06.

:36:06. > :36:12.Home of football, historic and proud, those three little words.

:36:12. > :36:19.Determination to start the game with high expectation. You've got

:36:19. > :36:25.the flair, you've got the best fans behind you. So we believe, all you

:36:25. > :36:34.got to do no boys is achieve. Three is for inspiration. Think Bobby

:36:34. > :36:44.Moore for inspiration. Let's paint in news story, come On England!

:36:44. > :36:46.

:36:46. > :36:56.We can hear from one of the stars of Manchester City, Joe Hart, he

:36:56. > :37:12.

:37:12. > :37:18.was hoping for a first competitive Perhaps not burdened so much with

:37:18. > :37:22.that Swedish history. History is history, that's the whole point. It

:37:22. > :37:31.has been and gone. You do not go into the game with previous results,

:37:31. > :37:36.it is not an aggregate game. We go in fresh. Samir Nasri said he knew

:37:36. > :37:44.-- it you knew him so well that he chases technique for the goal.

:37:44. > :37:53.did not even know it was him that scored! I thought it was Cabaye. He

:37:53. > :37:58.is a very clever player. I have seen him in training. I have saved

:37:58. > :38:01.enough balls from been to know what is going on. I want to save

:38:01. > :38:05.everything, but sometimes it does go in, but you have to move forward

:38:06. > :38:09.and be positive for the rest of the game and the tournament. When you

:38:10. > :38:15.were growing up, who was the England goalkeeper they you thought

:38:15. > :38:19.you wanted to emulate? David Seaman. It is strange because I never

:38:19. > :38:27.thought I want to be that guy, I want to beat the England goalkeeper.

:38:27. > :38:30.They did not pass my mind. David Seaman was almost defied by a

:38:30. > :38:35.tournament. It can happen with goalkeepers that a moment in the

:38:35. > :38:39.tournament makes them. Are you aware of that? I am aware of it and

:38:39. > :38:45.I totally understand that there is a lot more to it than that. You

:38:45. > :38:50.have to take a step back from what the headline says. People will be

:38:50. > :38:56.more pleased with who you what and do what you do it rather than one

:38:56. > :39:00.save, one mistake for one thing going your way and one thing not.

:39:00. > :39:08.have tipped astute about the Pete Green, how much do have a say about

:39:08. > :39:13.the colours? Nothing for that! As I put it on and were with it, I do

:39:13. > :39:20.like it, it is different. As long as it fits me, I don't really care

:39:20. > :39:27.what colour it is. It is a throwback to the old days.

:39:27. > :39:32.Surely it is mint green! We bow to your superior knowledge on that one.

:39:32. > :39:36.He is a consistently improving goalkeeper. I think he is a great

:39:36. > :39:39.goalkeeper. He has all the attributes that you want. He has

:39:40. > :39:45.now won the title with Man City and I think he has grown in stature and

:39:45. > :39:50.confidence. It is not easy to go in goal for England at 23 because part

:39:50. > :39:53.of your job is to be very vocal with your central defenders and

:39:53. > :39:58.central midfielders. If you're shouting and John Terry and Steven

:39:58. > :40:03.Gerrard to have to be very confident. Probably in the first

:40:03. > :40:07.game, where the defence went too deep, it has to come from him. I

:40:07. > :40:12.was fortunate at Liverpool to play in front of Ray Clemence, who was

:40:12. > :40:17.to read vocal and he would help you so much. If you got out of position

:40:17. > :40:22.he would Kochi back into it. first 20 minutes of that game the

:40:22. > :40:28.other night, Joe Hart looked a bit shaky. But he felt his way into the

:40:28. > :40:36.game. He got better as the game went on. He is a definite presence

:40:36. > :40:41.and I think he will of is to get better as he gets older. Some

:40:41. > :40:45.goalkeepers her presence with a voice, but David Seaman hardly ever

:40:45. > :40:51.said anything, but you just knew he was there and every so often he

:40:51. > :40:56.would growl at you. I think he has got it. From the present England

:40:56. > :41:00.goalkeeper to one of those past, David James is pitch-side in Kiev.

:41:00. > :41:06.David, you said to me the other day that Joe Hart is the best

:41:06. > :41:10.goalkeeper in the tournament. Why? If you look at his game, in all the

:41:10. > :41:14.areas he is very proficient. He is confident with crosses, his

:41:14. > :41:19.distribution is very good, he is comfortable having the ball played

:41:19. > :41:25.back to his feet. One thing when I first met in fresh from trees

:41:25. > :41:30.breach when he signed for Man City was that he exuded confidence --

:41:30. > :41:33.Shrewsbury. That is different from the arrogance and it is a good

:41:33. > :41:40.thing. For me, it was slightly annoying because he ended up taking

:41:40. > :41:45.my place at Man City and again with England. Again, thoroughly deserved.

:41:45. > :41:51.A word on selection today and what Andy Carroll brings to the side.

:41:51. > :41:55.This is a side specifically paid to beat Sweden? Definitely. Roy

:41:55. > :42:00.Hodgson looked at the defence is that Sweden showed against Ukraine.

:42:00. > :42:05.Andy Carroll is renowned for his presence in the air. I do not think

:42:05. > :42:09.it means they will go read one, I think with the winners playing that

:42:09. > :42:16.encourages them to get crosses in and show the weakness that Sweden

:42:16. > :42:22.have got. Hopefully go for the 2-1 win that I have predicted for the

:42:22. > :42:26.last 24 hours. There are going to be a lot more Swedish fans. If you

:42:26. > :42:31.were out there, did you notice that, the fact that English fans will be

:42:31. > :42:37.trained dead. I think the players will understand why the England

:42:37. > :42:44.fans have not been here in their usual present. Sweden, three games

:42:44. > :42:49.in one place, it is easy for them to to come and trouble. I think Roy

:42:49. > :42:55.Hodgson will have a set that side eight. I think Andy Carroll

:42:55. > :43:05.suggests that the team knows what they have to be doing. And going

:43:05. > :43:08.

:43:08. > :43:15.into their game with their new There is the England team, if you

:43:15. > :43:20.have just tuned in. Just one change made by Roy Hodgson, bringing in

:43:20. > :43:26.Andy Carroll and no place for Oxlade-Chamberlain in the starting

:43:26. > :43:31.line-up. John Terry is now playing on the right even though he

:43:31. > :43:35.normally plays on the left but they seem to play well in the first game.

:43:35. > :43:44.I do not think it was a problem. The problem is that at times they

:43:44. > :43:49.were defending too deep. When you do that, it just need a deflection.

:43:49. > :43:55.Or, as Joe Hart quite rightly said, too many people in front of him and

:43:55. > :44:00.he is and cited. Apart from that, I thought they were pretty solid.

:44:00. > :44:05.Terry and Lescott than not given any difficulties but they were not

:44:05. > :44:10.playing against an out and out striker. It is quite unusual, both

:44:10. > :44:19.Spain and France played that way in the first game. We said on the

:44:19. > :44:28.night that they will be quite happy, feeling they were not getting

:44:28. > :44:32.exposed, but ultimately they end up to do. It forces the midfield deep.

:44:32. > :44:37.Under thing about the issue with the goalkeeper comes in. As the

:44:37. > :44:43.centre back when you go do, you really don't know, it is easy to

:44:43. > :44:49.fall into that trap. This is more of a Premier League style came.

:44:49. > :44:57.Sweden had more of a presence the other night when Elmander came on

:44:57. > :45:03.and he did want to run Ian behind and stand on the two centre-backs.

:45:03. > :45:11.You have looked at the defensive aspect of this. When you're playing

:45:11. > :45:17.against pace and movement, D defend a high line. But the most important

:45:17. > :45:21.thing is the sanctuary of the 18 yard line. Stay there. If you start

:45:21. > :45:31.going back towards the goalkeeper, it just needs a deflection, it

:45:31. > :45:37.

:45:37. > :45:41.means they are too many bodies in French. You can see how many bodies

:45:41. > :45:46.are in the box. But progressively, they were just getting deeper and

:45:46. > :45:53.deeper. Watch this time, it is eight plus a goalkeeper, that's

:45:53. > :45:57.nearly the whole team, and nobody pressurising the ball. The warning

:45:57. > :46:04.signs were there. And then, eventually, when it comes out wide

:46:04. > :46:10.here, it is played to Patrice Evra, and he has got three options, he

:46:10. > :46:15.can hit it, chip it to the back post, or just go and play. But

:46:15. > :46:21.there was nobody in this area, so he picked it up and plays it, then

:46:21. > :46:25.it comes back to Nasri, and it's in the back of the net. The goalkeeper

:46:25. > :46:28.has got to be the voice that sends has got to be the voice that sends

:46:29. > :46:34.them out. It is something which clearly Roy Hodgson had spotted,

:46:34. > :46:39.because they got better at that in the second half. I totally agree.

:46:39. > :46:44.France, with Benzema, the other night, they played a strange way.

:46:44. > :46:48.Not once did he run in behind. But Elmander will do that tonight. So

:46:48. > :46:54.England will have to get their distances right between the

:46:54. > :47:00.midfield and the back four. Just looking at the team sheets, all

:47:00. > :47:04.aspects of the team, I think our players are better than theirs. I

:47:04. > :47:08.think if we can sort out Ibrahimovic, the rest of them will

:47:08. > :47:13.take care of themselves. But on paper, the last seven games,

:47:13. > :47:18.England have had a better team than Sweden. What would you do about

:47:18. > :47:22.Ibrahimovic, what is the secret? It is a perennial problem for English

:47:22. > :47:26.defenders, isn't it? That's where the communication comes in, not

:47:26. > :47:30.just from the goalkeeper, but from the midfield players and the centre

:47:30. > :47:34.halves as well. Sometimes it has got to be one or the other.

:47:34. > :47:38.Sometimes the centre-back cannot go because he will have somebody, and

:47:38. > :47:42.Ibrahimovic is just that little bit too far away. Other times, a

:47:42. > :47:47.midfield player will have to pick him up. Sometimes John Terry will

:47:47. > :47:56.have to go in and pick him up, but it is all about communication.

:47:56. > :48:00.about the Swedish defence? We saw Shevchenko get the two goals.

:48:00. > :48:03.is probably be why Andy Carroll was brought in. Yes, but when they went

:48:03. > :48:08.up the other end of the pitch, they up the other end of the pitch, they

:48:08. > :48:13.struggled as well. This was a counter-attack, they are basically

:48:13. > :48:18.all over the place. Shevchenko just plays one in, and you can see the

:48:18. > :48:25.back four, hands up in the air, always a sign that you're in

:48:25. > :48:30.trouble. Shevchenko should have buried that.

:48:30. > :48:33.LEE DIXON: Sticking your hands up all at once is not bad, it is when

:48:33. > :48:38.it is at different times that you're in big trouble!

:48:38. > :48:42.ALAN SHEARER: We have mentioned Andy Carroll a lot tonight, but

:48:42. > :48:47.Welbeck has got a big role to play tonight. We saw Shevchenko running

:48:47. > :48:51.in behind the defence, and Welbeck can do that tonight. Mellberg will

:48:51. > :48:58.can do that tonight. Mellberg will not catch him for pace. In the

:48:58. > :49:08.delayed game, France have beating Ukraine 2-0. That means that going

:49:08. > :49:21.

:49:21. > :49:27.into the game tonight, the group So, getting close now to kick-off.

:49:27. > :49:32.It is delayed, it is 10 minutes away. You look at Andy Carroll and

:49:32. > :49:38.Danny Welbeck, but for me, Ashley Young, if they can get the ball to

:49:38. > :49:41.him early, he has got that much talent and ability. He was

:49:41. > :49:46.anonymous for a huge part of the game in the first game, but he has

:49:46. > :49:51.got so much talent, two great feat against a poor right back. Get it

:49:51. > :49:56.to him early, attack the full-back, chip it into the box, and you will

:49:56. > :50:00.get success. You make it sound so simple. That is his best position,

:50:00. > :50:04.I would say, on that side of the pitch. He is certainly more lively

:50:05. > :50:08.on that side. It is very difficult to defend against when you come

:50:08. > :50:13.back and whippet in with your right foot from that left-hand side.

:50:13. > :50:19.other thing, in the dressing room, Roy Hodgson will be saying the

:50:19. > :50:22.right things - don't be complacent, go out and play. The trouble is, he

:50:22. > :50:32.is not in the dressing room, he is outside with his old friend the

:50:32. > :50:32.

:50:32. > :50:37.Swedish manager! Far too friendly! Wait till it kicks off. Talking

:50:37. > :50:41.about the dressing room, I hope Lescott and John Terry and Steven

:50:41. > :50:47.Gerrard and Scott Parker are talking to each other. That square

:50:47. > :50:56.will be really important, when Ibrahimovic will be right in the

:50:56. > :51:00.middle of them. Yes, and it is imperative that he is picked up. If

:51:00. > :51:05.you can get the danger man back on the halfway line, it is very

:51:05. > :51:08.difficult to influence the game from now. The one thing which came

:51:09. > :51:11.out from the other night was how negative England were. Perhaps it

:51:11. > :51:16.was understandable, first game of the tournament, playing against a

:51:16. > :51:20.very good team. But tonight, I think certainly they can go and

:51:20. > :51:26.attack Sweden a lot more, create more chances, and do something with

:51:26. > :51:31.it. Go for the throat! We're getting very close. We never win

:51:31. > :51:36.the opening game, we never beat the tournament hosts, and we never beat

:51:36. > :51:46.Sweden in competitive matches. It is about time that changed. Come on,

:51:46. > :52:13.

:52:13. > :52:23.COMMENTATOR: England are out of the You are England. Rally the troops.

:52:23. > :52:42.

:52:42. > :52:52.Dictate the play. Be the general. The engine never stops. Show your

:52:52. > :53:04.

:53:04. > :53:07.We are almost ready - how do you think it will go, Alan? I honestly

:53:07. > :53:16.think England will win. After seeing the Swedish team, I think

:53:16. > :53:19.the back four are really poor. I think England are the better side.

:53:20. > :53:23.We have seen Germany make a statement in their second game, we

:53:23. > :53:29.have seen Spain make a statement in their second game, so England have

:53:29. > :53:35.got to do it tonight. It is an ideal opportunity. They have got to

:53:35. > :53:39.make things happen. This is it. They do not want to be going into

:53:39. > :53:48.the Ukraine game needing to win, they need to win tonight. I do not

:53:48. > :53:51.see England losing tonight. ALAN HANSEN: When you consider what

:53:51. > :53:56.kind of season Andy Carroll had at Liverpool, up until the last few

:53:56. > :54:00.weeks, everybody was writing him off, and yet the last few weeks, he

:54:00. > :54:08.showed his real form. If he shows it here tonight and gets a couple

:54:08. > :54:14.of goals, he will be a national hero. It could be a battle of the

:54:14. > :54:19.pony tails. There's one of them. ALAN SHEARER: It could be a big

:54:19. > :54:23.night for him, but I just hope they get the right service in to him. If

:54:23. > :54:30.they do, he is unplayable, they will not handle him if the service

:54:30. > :54:35.is right. Football is at its finest when it is at its most excruciating.

:54:35. > :54:45.Prepared to suffer for a while. The commentators are Mark Lawrenson and

:54:45. > :54:55.

:54:55. > :54:59.GUY MOWBRAY: This is England's second game of the tournament, and

:55:00. > :55:03.they have won their second game at the last three European

:55:03. > :55:07.Championships they have played in. It started 16 years ago today at

:55:07. > :55:16.Wembley, with goals from Alan Shearer and Paul Gascoigne against

:55:16. > :55:20.Scotland. It was only in November when these two last clashed, a 1-0

:55:20. > :55:30.win for England which proved to be Fabio Capello's farewell. It was

:55:30. > :55:35.

:55:35. > :55:38.also England's first win against Sweden since 1968. Steven Gerrard

:55:38. > :55:48.and Zlatan Ibrahimovic Begin the relatively short walk out into the

:55:48. > :55:55.

:55:55. > :56:02.They will be greeted by a huge wall of noise which will be

:56:02. > :56:11.predominantly Swedish. This is base camp for the Swedes, and they are

:56:11. > :56:14.here in great numbers, making Kiev feel almost like a second Stockholm.

:56:14. > :56:18.Of course, you can never underestimate the vocal abilities

:56:18. > :56:20.of those who have travelled here to support England, although

:56:20. > :56:28.support England, although relatively small in number by their

:56:28. > :56:38.usual standards. But the flags are out, and they are making themselves

:56:38. > :57:09.

:57:09. > :57:13.# Long live our noble Queen! # God save the Queen!

:57:13. > :57:23.# God save the Queen! # Send her victorious.

:57:23. > :57:23.

:57:23. > :57:33.# Happy and glorious. # Long to reign over us.

:57:33. > :58:03.

:58:03. > :58:13.# Du gamla, Du fria, Du fjallhoga nord.

:58:13. > :58:17.

:59:13. > :59:20.during the anthems. Before the defeat to Ukraine, his side had won

:59:20. > :59:29.every game since losing to England in November. They are experienced,

:59:29. > :59:35.they are tall and strong, and they have the bulk of the crowd tonight.

:59:35. > :59:39.Let's take a look at the line-ups, starting with Sweden. The coach

:59:39. > :59:44.said only five or six players reached the level he wanted against

:59:44. > :59:54.Ukraine, and he has reacted with three changes tonight, three

:59:54. > :00:10.

:00:10. > :00:20.players who are all know the referee is 35. He has officiated in

:00:20. > :00:32.

:00:32. > :00:38.they would be. Oxlade-Chamberlain makes way for Andy Carroll and

:00:38. > :00:47.Ashley Young plays wide on the left. Andy Carroll has only played a few

:00:47. > :00:57.minutes of competitive football for England. But it is 96 appearances

:00:57. > :01:05.

:01:05. > :01:15.Wayne Rooney, it is a full complement of substitutes for

:01:15. > :01:26.

:01:26. > :01:31.who scored in every one of his country's past four games. Steven

:01:31. > :01:41.Gerrard has not scored since March when he got a hat-trick in the

:01:41. > :02:15.

:02:15. > :02:19.started at the impressive Olympic game. It really will be an

:02:19. > :02:27.indication of just how far both these teams could go in the

:02:27. > :02:32.tournament. If England win, it will give them such a good chance of

:02:32. > :02:39.qualification for the quarter- finals. Mark Lawrenson is alongside

:02:39. > :02:44.me. We have a perfect view and it is perfect playing conditions.

:02:44. > :02:54.are, and I think quite often your team selection is a statement of

:02:54. > :03:11.

:03:11. > :03:21.intent, and as far as England are Albion, a player known so well to

:03:21. > :03:56.

:03:56. > :04:06.misplaced. Roy Hodgson still very much respected back in Sweden. A

:04:06. > :04:09.

:06:46. > :07:05.

:07:05. > :07:15.around and work out the best way to in the early stages of the game,

:07:15. > :07:15.

:07:15. > :08:19.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:08:19. > :08:29.but that was a risky pass from England. Damir Skomina was the

:08:29. > :08:30.

:08:30. > :08:40.referee for Kelsey's quarter-final second leg match in Europe --

:08:40. > :08:40.

:08:40. > :09:41.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:09:41. > :09:51.playing with a more attacking confidence than he did against

:10:03. > :10:06.England have to be patient because Sweden are happy to sit in there.

:10:06. > :10:16.They are told team yet they have this deficiency in keeping out

:12:08. > :12:10.

:12:10. > :12:16.with the Liverpool striker. Early impressions? I think it is going to

:12:17. > :12:22.be a long, hard night, in all honesty. Sweden are sitting in two

:12:22. > :12:32.banks are for, sitting in there. Pushing the wide men for England

:12:32. > :12:32.

:12:32. > :13:42.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:13:42. > :13:46.worry about is the issue of temperature tonight. It is a lot

:13:46. > :13:56.cooler in the Kiev and it has been in Donetsk, by England go again on

:13:56. > :14:20.

:14:20. > :14:26.between the Ibrahimovic and Rosenberg during the last game. But

:14:26. > :14:36.then again, Ibrahimovic has fallen out with most members of the Sweden

:14:36. > :15:14.

:15:14. > :15:24.Ukraine so it may not be as lacking in balance in favour of Sweden as

:15:24. > :15:24.

:15:24. > :16:17.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:16:17. > :16:27.safety. We had been warned about the long throw of Rasmus Elm before

:16:27. > :17:00.

:17:00. > :17:09.Mellberg and stayed there, but it went wide. This was a great ball in,

:17:10. > :17:15.a fantastic ball in from James Milner. So far, those crosses that

:17:15. > :17:25.we were told must be delivered are coming mainly from James Milner.

:17:25. > :17:49.

:17:49. > :17:59.Yes, he has started extremely Welbeck just to tuck in a little

:17:59. > :18:36.

:18:36. > :18:43.Johnson gets back, importantly so. MARK LAWRENSON: Yes, he made a

:18:43. > :18:47.vital interception the other night against the French as well.

:18:47. > :18:52.GUY MOWBRAY: I think already we have seen enough of Zlatan to know

:18:52. > :19:02.that he will be a threat in the match at some stage. He is a player,

:19:02. > :19:29.

:19:29. > :19:34.but you have got to keep him thought for character. Like Roy

:19:34. > :19:44.Hodgson, did not have a particularly distinguished playing

:19:44. > :20:18.

:20:18. > :20:28.career, indeed, like so many forward from right back. It was a

:20:28. > :21:04.

:21:04. > :21:14.have done that with it! That was easy for Martin Olsson. Larsson has

:21:14. > :21:21.

:21:21. > :21:30.come in from the right-hand side. Ibrahimovic lets fly! That was not

:21:30. > :21:35.easy for Joe Hart. No, but it was a comfortable save. England have got

:21:35. > :21:38.to be careful not to give Ibrahimovic too much time. You were

:21:38. > :21:43.saying about keeping him disinterested. But he looks

:21:43. > :21:48.reasonably up for it. Well, he is relishing this new role, off the

:21:48. > :21:58.striker. He has normally been the fall would most striker during his

:21:58. > :22:01.

:22:01. > :22:11.career. -- the most forward striker. He has had 28 goals for Milan this

:22:11. > :22:46.

:22:46. > :22:56.season, and yet he continues to be try to stay in front of Ibrahimovic,

:22:56. > :22:58.

:22:58. > :23:08.and struggling all the time. Larsson breaking into the box.

:23:08. > :23:27.

:23:27. > :23:30.Terry looked like he was running in of Glen Johnson... He said he

:23:30. > :23:40.wanted his team to show more quality in the final third of the

:24:02. > :24:12.field. He thought that England were special. He went for Hollywood.

:24:12. > :24:45.

:24:45. > :24:48.he only found the corner flag. It with James Milner. It is a bit of a

:24:48. > :24:58.battle between James Milner and Martin Olsson down that side of the

:24:58. > :25:00.

:25:00. > :25:03.field. Andy Carroll! Steven Gerrard to Andy Carroll! England, 1-0!

:25:03. > :25:13.an absolutely brilliant ball this was. Great reaction as well by Andy

:25:13. > :25:21.

:25:21. > :25:26.Carroll. Great reaction from Wayne Rooney! All in this together!

:25:26. > :25:33.key is the cross. He had a very quick look, Steven Gerrard, and

:25:33. > :25:38.then he just wrap his right foot around it. And that was a great

:25:38. > :25:43.finish, goalkeeper no chance. That's Andy Carroll, that's more

:25:43. > :25:46.like it. Look at that. That is a moment that he will savour for the

:25:46. > :25:50.rest of his football career. His first appearance at a major

:25:50. > :25:57.tournament, his first start in a game that really means something

:25:57. > :26:03.for England, and he has got his first goal. Roy Hodgson is happy.

:26:03. > :26:07.That's exactly what he has been put in the team for. Right, just don't

:26:07. > :26:17.sit back now England, just keep this line, it is really good at the

:26:17. > :26:32.

:26:32. > :26:35.but Lescott will have to be alert, and he is. Three goals in Andy

:26:35. > :26:45.Carroll's last seven appearances of the season for Liverpool. He

:26:45. > :26:46.

:26:46. > :26:51.started to look good as the season came to a close. For all of Spain's

:26:51. > :27:01.passing, and supposedly the right way to play football, England have

:27:01. > :27:26.

:27:26. > :27:31.just shown another way - hit the Olsson! Blocked by James Milner, an

:27:31. > :27:36.England just getting paid back now. MARK LAWRENSON: Yes, it happens on

:27:36. > :27:46.so many occasions when you take the lead, you can get paid back. Just

:27:46. > :28:11.

:28:11. > :28:14.international in March of last year against Ghana. Now he is up and

:28:14. > :28:24.running in games that matter. I should think that will be a goal

:28:24. > :28:41.

:28:41. > :28:51.which will have particularly Scott Parker, but the referee is

:28:51. > :29:24.

:29:24. > :29:28.the 90 minutes against France. They are having more in this match.

:29:28. > :29:38.James Milner has got the return from Glen Johnson, and he tried to

:29:38. > :29:40.

:29:40. > :29:50.pull it back for Johnson. Well done, Johnson, he read that one, keeping

:29:50. > :30:01.

:30:01. > :30:11.has gone forward, and Granqvist can move into the space on the right.

:30:11. > :30:11.

:30:11. > :32:07.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:32:07. > :32:17.It is one of Sweden's best periods by Elm and Olsson. John Terry did

:32:17. > :32:36.

:32:36. > :32:43.His brother, David, had a little spell at Fulham, under Roy Hodgson,

:32:43. > :32:53.who will know all about Sweden and the players. And their mentality.

:32:53. > :33:31.

:33:31. > :33:41.Which he helped to shape, in terms again, just frustrated Sweden, and

:33:41. > :34:19.

:34:19. > :34:25.nice height for Joe Hart. That came from Parker tried to force the

:34:25. > :34:31.issue at the other end. He does not need to. The next thing is, England

:34:31. > :34:36.are having to defend. That was a major bugbear of yours in the first

:34:36. > :34:41.game against France. We have just had three instances of Sweden,

:34:41. > :34:51.under a little bit of pressure, and giving England the ball back.

:34:51. > :35:07.

:35:07. > :35:17.out there, with Ibrahimovic having been struggling with a little bit

:35:17. > :35:51.

:35:51. > :35:57.from Ashley Cole. And a great tackle from John Terry. A very

:35:57. > :36:04.important tackle. And Ibrahimovic is hurt. Ashley Cole puts the ball

:36:04. > :36:14.out of play. A does not need to, it is up to the referee to blow. Well

:36:14. > :36:40.

:36:40. > :36:50.Ibrahimovic. I think you have to be a great player to play with pink

:36:50. > :36:50.

:36:50. > :37:36.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:37:36. > :37:41.corner himself and Welbeck and Andy Carroll asking him why. Gray to

:37:41. > :37:49.first-time ball from Ashley Cole. Get in the box and take the

:37:49. > :37:54.defender on! He cannot tackle you. It is frustrating. Ashley Young has

:37:54. > :38:04.averaged better than I'd goal every other game in his last 11

:38:04. > :38:04.

:38:04. > :39:26.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:39:26. > :39:36.but it was always rising. Yes, Joe very big player in the European

:39:36. > :39:45.

:39:45. > :39:55.against the referee but it was accidental. Good touch, as well,

:39:55. > :39:56.

:39:56. > :40:06.from the referee. He did well not to show any signs of that stinging.

:40:06. > :40:19.

:40:19. > :40:24.Probably killing him! Good job it as that of the referee. He left

:40:24. > :40:34.Bolton won it years ago and promptly won the title in his first

:40:34. > :40:34.

:40:34. > :41:35.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:41:35. > :41:42.to Ibrahimovic but England had the England have adapted to the changes

:41:42. > :41:46.that Roy Hodgson has made? So far, so could. They got themselves the

:41:46. > :41:52.lead. I keep harping on about keeping the ball a little bit

:41:52. > :41:57.better. But Sweden are an ordinary team and it is important that

:41:57. > :42:07.England do not make them look any better than they are. The key is to

:42:07. > :42:07.

:42:07. > :43:01.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:43:01. > :43:11.score the second goal. As quickly past. Free-kick given against

:43:11. > :43:12.

:43:12. > :43:18.Mellberg. Andy Carroll is down. It won't be for long. Locking arms

:43:18. > :43:28.with Mellberg and almost dragging the Sweden player down himself. He

:43:28. > :43:28.

:43:28. > :44:23.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:44:23. > :44:29.has done the job that he was detail instructions coming from Roy

:44:29. > :44:39.Hodgson. And when he goes back to the bench, one of the other England

:44:39. > :45:17.

:45:17. > :45:22.Mellberg. It had to beat time to really well. Welbeck did not have

:45:23. > :45:32.much to do, just five players to beat! But could to see that he had

:45:33. > :45:52.

:45:52. > :46:02.the confidence to believe he could Elmander but there was cover from

:46:02. > :46:12.Hart and up from Terry. Just one more minute of the first 45 plus

:46:12. > :46:37.

:46:37. > :46:47.whatever is added on. Just see it Send the cavalry up, as well, last

:46:47. > :46:48.

:46:48. > :48:06.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:48:07. > :48:10.out on that occasion. -- their quite take the ball in his stride.

:48:10. > :48:15.The other thing was, Ashley Cole played him on instead of stepping

:48:15. > :48:19.up. But that's half-time. Andy Carroll, brought in to be an aerial

:48:19. > :48:27.threat, to put the pressure on Sweden, and that's exactly what has

:48:27. > :48:37.happened. One ball in from Steven Gerrard, one thumping header from

:48:37. > :48:47.

:48:47. > :48:50.his Liverpool colleague Andy So far, so good. But in three other

:48:50. > :48:55.major tournaments England have met Sweden, and they have led at half-

:48:55. > :49:01.time in each of those, and not won any of them! But England have

:49:01. > :49:05.largely dominated... Yes, obviously Roy Hodgson takes the plaudits for

:49:06. > :49:10.picking Andy Carroll. It was a fantastic header. Like Alan said,

:49:10. > :49:13.if you cross it early and put pace on the ball, it is difficult to

:49:13. > :49:19.defend against. But I think basically we are watching two

:49:19. > :49:22.average sides. The play has been fragmented. The Swedes are poor. If

:49:22. > :49:28.England can get it down and play, they could run out convincing

:49:28. > :49:33.winners. Never mind that average side business, let's get the biased

:49:33. > :49:37.view out of the way and get on to really neutral England perspective.

:49:37. > :49:42.Two bits of tremendous qualities summed up the first half. Steven

:49:42. > :49:46.Gerrard, that was an unbelievable cross. We said it beforehand, if

:49:46. > :49:51.you get the right ball into the box, Andy Carroll is unplayable. It was

:49:51. > :49:55.a great cross but an equally good header. But really, that was the

:49:55. > :49:59.only bit of quality in the first half. Sweden are there for the

:50:00. > :50:06.taking. They are not a good side. England have to try to keep the

:50:06. > :50:10.ball a bit more. We have got the goal, now keep the ball. Then we

:50:10. > :50:16.can hit them on the break. Ashley Young is not playing on the left-

:50:16. > :50:20.hand side, as we thought he would do, he has got more of a free role.

:50:20. > :50:26.I think if he was to give us a bit more width on the left-hand side,

:50:26. > :50:29.we would get more joy from crosses. Lee, your perspective on the first

:50:29. > :50:33.half? We have known that England are not perhaps the most free-

:50:33. > :50:35.flowing team in history, but if you're organised and disciplined

:50:35. > :50:41.and you do what the manager tells you, you can get something out of

:50:41. > :50:49.it. Yes, there is not a lot of quality in there, apart from Steven

:50:49. > :50:52.Gerrard's ball, but I don't care. We are doing better than Sweden.

:50:52. > :50:57.Ibrahimovic is the only one in the Sweden side for me who has got a

:50:57. > :51:00.brain. The others are not on the same wavelength at all. So, you

:51:00. > :51:05.keep your concentration at the back. There have been a couple of times

:51:05. > :51:09.when we have got a bit deep at the back. Ashley Cole, because Ashley

:51:09. > :51:13.Young is drifting inside, is going a bit too tight for me. If he sits

:51:13. > :51:18.back a little bit, because a couple of times they have got into that

:51:18. > :51:23.space behind him, and John Terry has had to come out and Johnson has

:51:23. > :51:29.had to cover as well. Other than that, I agree with Alan, they are

:51:29. > :51:35.there for the taking. They just need a bit more composure on the

:51:35. > :51:40.ball. They have got to get it down and play. The one person that can

:51:40. > :51:44.get it and play is the captain, Steven Gerrard. He has led by

:51:44. > :51:52.example, led from the front. And it was a terrific cross, and you were

:51:52. > :51:56.so excited! Andy Carroll Nos Steven Gerrard's game, and vice versa,

:51:56. > :52:00.from Liverpool. If there is one guy who can put a ball on a sixpence

:52:01. > :52:01.like that, it is Steven Gerrard. like that, it is Steven Gerrard.

:52:01. > :52:07.like that, it is Steven Gerrard. But Andy Carroll, just look what he

:52:07. > :52:11.does to the full-back. He just nudges the full back to try and get

:52:11. > :52:15.in front, but he does not let him. He gets him between the centre half

:52:15. > :52:19.and the full-back, which you should do. We have been saying it for a

:52:19. > :52:24.long time, the right ball into the box, with pace and power, and he

:52:24. > :52:28.will do that all day long, that's why he was so good at Newcastle.

:52:28. > :52:32.think James Milner does really well initially. He forces Martin Olsson

:52:32. > :52:42.to play it down the line, and from that situation, Steven Gerrard

:52:42. > :52:45.

:52:45. > :52:50.picked it up. Get in there, Roy! Normally come as a defender, you

:52:50. > :52:54.would be thinking, cross it all day long. It is the one thing you were

:52:54. > :53:00.going on about constantly during the game, we have got to get balls

:53:00. > :53:04.in. Milner had done it sometimes, other times he has not.

:53:04. > :53:10.ALAN SHEARER: Andy Carroll was excellent in the build up there,

:53:10. > :53:15.knocks it out wide, and yes, that was a decent ball from James Milner.

:53:15. > :53:18.But we can do that more, we really can. James Milner has had one or

:53:18. > :53:23.two opportunities, and he has actually come back on his left foot.

:53:23. > :53:29.But it is a quality ball into the box. That was a poor header from

:53:29. > :53:34.Welbeck. When you look at Granqvist, playing at right-back, he is not

:53:34. > :53:38.aware of the danger. On the goal, he should have been on the other

:53:38. > :53:43.side of Andy Carroll. As a centre- back, playing full-back, he does

:53:43. > :53:49.not seem to know where he is. have not been that many chances.

:53:49. > :53:59.Scott Parker, this was a terrific effort. It was a great effort, and

:53:59. > :54:02.

:54:02. > :54:08.equally as good a save. He did really well with the chest as well.

:54:08. > :54:13.From this angle, that was a fantastic save. It just goes behind

:54:13. > :54:17.Olsson, so the keeper sees it late. This one, Ashley Young should have

:54:17. > :54:23.done better. ALAN HANSEN: Ashley Young has been

:54:23. > :54:26.totally disappointing. The first touch was as bad as you will see.

:54:26. > :54:30.ALAN SHEARER: He has got to take that down the line on his left foot,

:54:30. > :54:37.have more confidence. As I said before, he is not really playing as

:54:37. > :54:41.a left-sided player. He is playing more on the inside. It is 1-0 in

:54:41. > :54:47.the battle of the pony tails, but there is no question that he is a

:54:47. > :54:52.thorn in our side. He is a threat, no question. We pick up Ashley Cole

:54:53. > :54:56.here, too far up. Ashley Callus -- Ashley Young loses it, and now the

:54:56. > :55:01.defence has got to get back. Johnson does brilliantly well to

:55:01. > :55:06.cover there. But there are just signs of him trying to get into

:55:06. > :55:09.dangerous areas. Here again, look at Ashley Cole, high up the pitch,

:55:09. > :55:14.and Ibrahimovic is able to run into the space which Ashley Cole has

:55:14. > :55:22.vacated. You do not want to leave John Terry exposed like this.

:55:22. > :55:27.has got that piano on his back, like Shevchenko! To be fair to him,

:55:27. > :55:31.he does well. Just signs here that England are trying to drop too deep.

:55:31. > :55:35.They have got to be aware of the Ibrahimovic, you just worry that he

:55:35. > :55:39.is starting to get into the game. He is a quality player, we have

:55:39. > :55:47.seen that in the first half. If England can keep him quiet for

:55:47. > :55:51.another 45 minutes, they will have a great chance. Keep him on the

:55:51. > :55:57.halfway line, keep him in his own half! Let's have a look at what

:55:57. > :56:02.happened in the other game, played earlier today. Jonathan Pearce was

:56:02. > :56:12.the commentator. Frank Ribery, the commentator. Frank Ribery,

:56:12. > :56:16.

:56:16. > :56:21.using his strength and his pace. 1- 0, France! Menez has had his

:56:21. > :56:28.chances, and he has finally taken one. He cut in on his left foot.

:56:28. > :56:37.Such an important goal in these Championships. Good turn from

:56:37. > :56:41.Benzema, and a chance for your Hulkenberg. -- and a chance for

:56:41. > :56:51.Yohan Cabaye. And France have doubled their lead! Starting on

:56:51. > :57:29.

:57:29. > :57:35.Monday week, another of this I wonder where you can get that kit

:57:35. > :57:41.from. When it comes to Euro 2012, the BBC has all bases covered.

:57:41. > :57:46.have so many ways to keep in touch. All our matches are live on the BBC

:58:28. > :58:38.Our next live games are the deciding matches in Group A

:58:38. > :58:41.

:58:41. > :58:45.tomorrow night. All four teams can still qualify. Back in Kiev, Gabby

:58:45. > :58:54.is with David James and Martin Keown. First of all, the manager's

:58:54. > :59:01.decision to pick Andy Carroll, the tactics, worked perfectly. Yes, it

:59:01. > :59:07.was like Tarzan to the rescue, his power, his strength, a wonderful

:59:07. > :59:13.cross, just begging to be put into the back of the net. The tactics

:59:13. > :59:18.are going to plan. The cross was a peach from Stevie Gerrard. It shows

:59:18. > :59:22.what a difference he can make with a target man like Andy Carroll.

:59:22. > :59:27.was almost like a Premier League game, wasn't it, at times? But at

:59:27. > :59:34.the other end, Ibrahimovic has got the same process. You cannot switch

:59:34. > :59:38.off. Seeing him in the flesh, he is absolutely massive, absolutely huge.

:59:38. > :59:44.I just feel in possession, we need now wide players to drift in more

:59:44. > :59:47.centrally, just so we can keep the ball and enjoy being in front. But

:59:47. > :59:52.what we tend to do as an English team, we only know how to play one

:59:52. > :59:57.way, and that's getting the ball forward. Just be a bit more patient

:59:57. > :00:02.and I think it will be a good night for us. I would agree with Martin.

:00:02. > :00:07.I have been optimistic all the way up to this point. The two banks of

:00:07. > :00:12.four worked so well against France, but we seem to be a little bit

:00:12. > :00:18.apart tonight. Sweden have had some opportunities, and with a bit more

:00:18. > :00:22.cute passing from midfield, we could be in trouble. We know about

:00:22. > :00:26.their history against Sweden, and we have been ahead in the last

:00:26. > :00:31.three competitive games, but tonight it is going to be

:00:31. > :00:39.different...? It certainly is. We do not want John Terry to get

:00:39. > :00:45.isolated. Listen, Roy has never lost against Sweden! I like that

:00:45. > :00:51.positivity! Going into the second half, it will be more or less the

:00:51. > :00:57.same, won't it? We mustn't get overly cautious, must we? I would

:00:57. > :01:03.say in the dressing room, Roy will be happy, but he will be taking the

:01:03. > :01:07.players to get it down and play, and they will make chances. Roy

:01:07. > :01:12.will have told them, you cannot go beyond the 18 yard line. You can

:01:12. > :01:17.see the two banks of four. John Terry, the leads centre-back,

:01:17. > :01:23.saying, right, one the ball has gone back towards the Swedish goal,

:01:23. > :01:28.push them out. But it is absolutely amazing, in the last 10 minutes of

:01:28. > :01:31.that half, how much deeper and deeper they started to get. It is

:01:31. > :01:36.just having the confidence and the ability and the belief in yourself

:01:37. > :01:41.to say, let's stays strong, get the ball, pass it around, don't be

:01:41. > :01:46.scared. Sweden are not a great team. One man in particular who has done

:01:46. > :01:51.that, Steven Gerrard. He has been brilliant, Captain's performance in

:01:51. > :01:56.that first half. He has been driving them on. We will never get

:01:56. > :02:01.fed up of seeing the ball like this. It is not ordinarily an area you

:02:01. > :02:07.would be encouraging people to cross from. Like we said before,

:02:08. > :02:17.pick it up, play it, get it back, move. Talk about leading by example,

:02:18. > :02:26.

:02:26. > :02:32.His pressure in the middle of the park is key to the back four

:02:32. > :02:38.staying up and not backing off. Well boy Hartson be saying more of

:02:38. > :02:43.the same? He will also be Saints keep the ball, happily confidence

:02:43. > :02:48.to pass it around. We are not used to do that in England, but we can

:02:48. > :02:52.do that again Sweden because they are not a great side. The frailty

:02:52. > :02:58.against the French in the last half-hour was to give it away

:02:58. > :03:05.cheaply. You cannot afford to give it away cheaply. You keep the ball

:03:05. > :03:10.by getting it wider. Ashley Young, have stayed wider. Gerrard has been

:03:10. > :03:17.a great example in that first half to everyone, getting the ball and

:03:17. > :03:22.not being afraid, passing it at the right time. Driving forward,

:03:22. > :03:26.getting support into the to forward players. Sweden are going to have a

:03:26. > :03:32.go because they are out of the tournament if it stays like this.

:03:32. > :03:37.And the man they are looking at, everyone is looking at. I cannot

:03:37. > :03:46.believe you English, so tense and nervous! England are going to win

:03:46. > :03:56.this game. History suggests that we always hold on to the lead! It has

:03:56. > :04:08.

:04:08. > :04:18.Olympic Stadium. Sweden have to really up their game in the second

:04:18. > :04:21.

:04:21. > :04:26.half off their supporters will be heading back north. England in the

:04:26. > :04:34.ascendancy, in the lead, though they have been so many times in the

:04:34. > :04:41.past and it has not quite ended that way. Prayer to tonight,

:04:41. > :04:51.England had won only six out of 14 European Championship games when

:04:51. > :05:30.

:05:30. > :05:38.temptation to make any half-time changes. I wonder what the

:05:38. > :05:43.assessment from the manager would be? You would think he would rip

:05:43. > :05:53.them up at half time. The first half performance was average at

:05:53. > :05:53.

:05:53. > :07:02.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:07:02. > :07:12.attempts to find Elmander. -- too ball and he was caught by Andy

:07:12. > :07:25.

:07:25. > :07:32.Carroll. It was a desperate Kallstrom spotted the ball up but

:07:32. > :07:37.Ibrahimovic took it from him. is Larsson country. You would think

:07:38. > :07:47.so. Nobody had a better strike rate from this distance than the

:07:48. > :08:24.

:08:24. > :08:33.have lost the lead again. The old man of the team, Mellberg, a

:08:33. > :08:39.sneaking forward to score. It was the second touch from Ibrahimovic,

:08:39. > :08:49.where he came in for the volley and it just broke took Mellberg. But it

:08:49. > :08:59.

:08:59. > :09:07.line trying to keep it out. He nearly did but was unfortunate to

:09:07. > :09:17.hit the post. There is a bit of fortune there for Sweden. It came

:09:17. > :09:45.

:09:45. > :09:52.pass that Ashley Cole misjudged. Yes, he let it bounce. England have

:09:52. > :09:57.been in this position so many times. It is always a roller-coaster

:09:57. > :10:07.watching England. What will it do for Sweden? What abused for them,

:10:07. > :10:37.

:10:37. > :10:43.so soon in the second half. -- what start sloppily in the second half.

:10:43. > :10:53.And that is exactly what has happened. It has got the Swedish

:10:53. > :10:53.

:10:53. > :15:10.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:15:10. > :15:13.England 1. England had the lead from Glen Johnson, because Rasmus

:15:13. > :15:23.Elm was poised to put Sweden in front.

:15:23. > :15:25.

:15:25. > :15:32.MARK LAWRENSON: Yes, he is really good at that. Larsson missed this

:15:32. > :15:42.one and he is furious with himself. Sweden have grown in confidence,

:15:42. > :16:08.

:16:08. > :16:18.they are playing with so much more get away from the attentions of

:16:18. > :16:50.

:16:50. > :17:00.Ashley Young. Headed away by played by the swings now. That will

:17:00. > :17:10.be a yellow card. It is his own fault, because he had just knocked

:17:10. > :17:17.

:17:17. > :17:27.off, the full-back was away. Cannot argue with that one. Now, a chance

:17:27. > :17:47.

:17:47. > :17:57.for Sweden to get bodies into the of his customary excellent free

:17:57. > :17:59.

:17:59. > :18:09.kicks. And he does! It is a goal for Olof Mellberg! England have

:18:09. > :18:09.

:18:09. > :18:17.caved in! And they have been beaten by their own game plan! Balls into

:18:17. > :18:23.the box. And it is a Swedish defender who spent seven years of

:18:23. > :18:31.his life playing in England for Aston Villa. Two for Mellberg,

:18:31. > :18:36.trouble for England. I do not even think there is a challenge here. It

:18:36. > :18:46.comes in from a long, long way away as well. Completely unmarked,

:18:46. > :18:47.

:18:47. > :18:51.absolutely free header. Splendid isolation, if you're a Swede.

:18:51. > :18:57.Tonight, it is getting on for three years since Olof Mellberg last

:18:57. > :19:07.scored for his country, and he has got two in 10 minutes. Here they

:19:07. > :19:15.

:19:16. > :19:20.far side of the field. Ashley Young... Welbeck waiting, but he

:19:21. > :19:30.will not get on to that. Jonas Olsson puts it behind, takes no

:19:31. > :19:48.

:19:48. > :19:58.chances at all. England are going Granqvist can be treated.

:19:58. > :20:00.

:20:00. > :20:04.MARK LAWRENSON: I'm afraid it is that same old England. James Milner

:20:04. > :20:13.is going to go off, Theo Walcott will come on. It will not change

:20:13. > :20:22.the shape but it might just give a little bit of energy and speed.

:20:22. > :20:28.long has Walcott been in the squad, six years? That game against

:20:28. > :20:38.Croatia, that was when he made his name. He has lived off that, time

:20:38. > :20:58.

:20:58. > :21:04.Ibrahimovic. Johnson stops him. Great challenge, Johnson, yet again.

:21:04. > :21:14.And England, from their own corner, all of a sudden, they are down the

:21:14. > :21:28.

:21:28. > :21:38.comes in from Gerrard. Anders Svensson had two or three options

:21:38. > :21:45.

:21:45. > :21:50.there. I think England need to get this turnaround at the halfway

:22:00. > :22:01.

:22:01. > :22:05.the first 45 minutes. That is a booking for Mellberg, I think.

:22:05. > :22:13.Interestingly, they are not giving the first goal to him, because

:22:13. > :22:21.Johnson played it on to the post and back in. Own goal, Glen Johnson.

:22:21. > :22:29.Yes, just two poor goals to concede. The cross comes in from Johnson!

:22:29. > :22:34.What a save from Isaksson! How on earth did he keep that out?! There

:22:34. > :22:42.was a suspicion of offside, but it is a brilliant save. It was a great

:22:42. > :22:52.ball in from Johnson. It just hit the Swedish goalkeeper. It doesn't

:22:52. > :23:04.

:23:04. > :23:14.matter. John Terry thought he had corner, well-defended by Jonas

:23:14. > :23:14.

:23:14. > :23:24.Olsson. Walcott! What a strike from Theo Walcott! And there's real hope

:23:24. > :23:34.again for England! Smashed in from distance. He must have been

:23:34. > :23:35.

:23:35. > :23:45.listening! Very different reaction from the England coach to what we

:23:45. > :23:55.saw from Sweden's. The goalkeeper just never saw it at all. It is

:23:55. > :23:56.

:23:56. > :24:06.curling, drifting away from Isaksson. And it really is game on

:24:06. > :24:13.

:24:13. > :24:22.in Kiev. The second half has been Theo Walcott's contribution since

:24:22. > :24:29.coming on. Second touch, beautiful. Talk about making an impact.

:24:29. > :24:35.Granqvist is still struggling. Sweden are going to make a change

:24:51. > :24:59.largely due to a succession of injuries. And it is as you were

:24:59. > :25:03.again. How positive do you want to be? Just have a go. When I first

:25:03. > :25:12.saw it, I thought it was deflected, just by the movement of the

:25:12. > :25:17.goalkeeper. Lovely reaction from Theo Walcott. As if to suggest he

:25:17. > :25:26.did not know quite how that had happened. I don't think he is

:27:11. > :27:16.Welbeck? Needs to be spot on... Great tackle, Mellberg. When he

:27:26. > :27:29.

:27:29. > :27:39.today he looks as strong as ever. The game is getting stretched now.

:27:39. > :27:53.

:27:53. > :28:03.Kallstrom is starting to have more the ball at the moment. That was

:28:03. > :28:19.

:28:19. > :28:29.Rasmus Elm finding plenty of room Johnson and Walcott, but look at

:28:29. > :28:58.

:28:58. > :29:08.the strength shown by the Swedish Johnson.

:29:08. > :29:10.

:29:10. > :29:15.MARK LAWRENSON: England's best defender, Glen Johnson.

:29:15. > :29:22.Andy Carroll had to stretch, and then went for goal! Was he entitled

:29:22. > :29:32.to shoot? He was, he was entitled to shoot. Isaksson looked

:29:32. > :29:49.

:29:49. > :29:55.get to that one with time to spare. Joe Hart just kept it in - well,

:29:55. > :29:59.that's the verdict, I'm not sure it was right. There was a referee's

:29:59. > :30:04.assistant stood right next to it, but did not seem to give anything.

:30:04. > :30:11.The referee has given it, I think. He must have had a signal from that

:30:11. > :30:21.gentleman there. It has gone out all right. And he has indicated the

:30:21. > :30:21.

:30:21. > :32:24.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:35:59. > :37:02.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:37:12. > :37:24.

:37:24. > :37:34.is turning out to be. Brilliant. Danny bowl has got what England

:37:34. > :37:34.

:37:34. > :37:39.hope will be the winning goal. -- Danny Welbeck. He just makes his

:37:49. > :37:57.

:37:57. > :38:03.possibly have scored from that. He worked that out in the blink of an

:38:03. > :38:13.eye. Right, England have been here before in this game. Just play with

:38:13. > :38:25.

:38:25. > :38:31.Rosenberg is going to come on. What a substitution! Interestingly,

:38:31. > :38:39.England were just about to make another one just before then. Alex

:38:39. > :38:44.Oxlade-Chamberlain had got himself ready. Maybe Walcott is one of

:38:44. > :38:50.those players when you send armed, he does not have to think about it,

:38:50. > :39:00.it is just natural, nothing to lose. Roy Hodgson has said all the way

:39:11. > :39:21.through the build up, you will play experience watching England play?!

:39:21. > :39:21.

:39:21. > :40:23.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:40:23. > :40:29.Christian Wilhelmsson is to come on. We thought he might start. There

:40:29. > :40:34.was talk of that from the Swedish press. A player who did not exactly

:41:01. > :41:11.his job for his country many times promised so much but delivered

:41:11. > :41:35.

:41:35. > :41:44.nothing. Nothing quite float. -- out after all. Gary Neville is

:41:44. > :41:49.doing his best to to relax the young man. Theo Walcott's impact on

:41:49. > :41:59.the game has been short-lived but so telling. If there is any doubt

:41:59. > :41:59.

:41:59. > :43:23.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:43:23. > :43:33.about him, taking off. Do not risk It is a natural instinct. It is a

:43:33. > :43:33.

:43:33. > :44:21.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:44:21. > :44:31.patiently waiting for the thumbs-up ready. Just standing next to the

:44:31. > :44:31.

:44:31. > :45:35.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 88 seconds

:45:35. > :45:45.off it for a second. Strong challenge from Joleon Lescott, but

:45:45. > :46:16.

:46:16. > :46:26.performance has been instrumental, has put in another good ball, but

:46:26. > :46:42.

:46:42. > :46:52.has come off, hasn't he? Yes, Rasmus Elm has made way for of

:46:52. > :46:53.

:46:53. > :47:03.Williamson. -- for Wilhelmsson. There will be just a few more

:47:03. > :47:04.

:47:04. > :47:13.nervous moments before the end of this game for England's supporters.

:47:13. > :47:17.Ibrahimovic ready to pounce if he gets half a chance. Joe Hart,

:47:27. > :47:44.

:47:44. > :47:54.Joe Hart has it. John Terry did brilliantly, he knew the striker

:47:54. > :48:04.

:48:04. > :48:11.could not get on to the end of it I think. Oxlade-Chamberlain has

:48:11. > :48:21.been waiting patiently. Ashley Young, maybe? He is finally about

:48:21. > :48:27.

:48:27. > :48:33.to get his chance, having started the touchline, that was a waste as

:48:33. > :48:40.far as he was concerned. It is Danny Welbeck who's going to go off,

:48:40. > :48:44.having got his goal, which stands to be the winning goal for England.

:48:44. > :48:49.It is his second for his country. He scored against Belgium in the

:48:49. > :48:53.warm-up match, but this one matters so much more. What a finish. As you

:48:53. > :49:00.rightly said at the time, he could not do anything else, there was no

:49:00. > :49:10.other way of scoring. He has had a really good game. A really big test

:49:10. > :49:24.

:49:24. > :49:34.enough, you're old enough. There's a 14-year-old playing in the US

:49:34. > :50:07.

:50:07. > :50:12.through, but there was a handball think there was a bit of chit-chat.

:50:12. > :50:22.Seb Larsson is still chuntering. I think it is actually Anders

:50:22. > :50:39.

:50:39. > :50:48.have to explain to us the thinking behind that. He has just mishit it.

:50:48. > :50:53.We have played one minute out of four additional minutes. England,

:50:53. > :50:57.then, three minutes away from a vital victory, the first ever in

:50:57. > :51:07.competitive international football against the Swedes - if they can

:51:07. > :51:20.

:51:20. > :51:25.have just gone quiet now. Chance for a breakaway here, with Parker.

:51:25. > :51:35.Walcott is outside him, and has the pace. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is in

:51:35. > :51:49.

:51:49. > :51:59.corner. That goes behind for a goal-kick. Isaksson has just kept

:51:59. > :52:17.

:52:17. > :52:27.his country in Euro 2012. For the chances, Sweden have to go forward

:52:27. > :52:53.

:52:53. > :52:57.We are into the fourth minute of injury-time here in Kiev. You just

:52:57. > :53:07.felt at 2-1 Down, this was not going to happen. You just felt,

:53:07. > :53:21.

:53:21. > :53:31.be able to go to Donetsk next week in a commanding position against

:53:31. > :53:43.

:53:43. > :53:48.his lips, and England have got the winner that they so desperately-

:53:48. > :53:55.needed tonight! Goodness me, they made everybody sweat! The effort,

:53:55. > :53:59.the work, have been rewarded, with two moments of sheer class. Walcott

:53:59. > :54:04.involved in both the goals that mattered in the second half,

:54:04. > :54:09.scoring the first from distance, and then making a sublime third for

:54:09. > :54:15.Danny Welbeck, to win the game for England, who now go to Donetsk in a

:54:15. > :54:23.really strong position. Kiev tonight was or yellow, but the

:54:23. > :54:28.tonight was or yellow, but the stars shone for England. Never

:54:28. > :54:31.believed in bogey teams anyway! Roy Hodgson, terrific substitution,

:54:31. > :54:36.bringing on Theo Walcott to transform England in that second

:54:36. > :54:40.half. Joe Hart also made a vital save, an England are now in good

:54:40. > :54:47.shape, just to draw required in their last game. It was a thrilling

:54:47. > :54:50.game of football, Alan Hansen. was never in doubt! You say Roy

:54:50. > :54:56.Hodgson changed the game bringing on Theo Walcott, when England were

:54:56. > :55:00.struggling, and he did. The first one, I thought Isaksson made a

:55:00. > :55:04.terrible mistake, but there was no element of luck about the winning

:55:04. > :55:10.goal. It was fantastic play from Walcott down the right-hand side,

:55:10. > :55:14.and the finish from Welbeck was absolutely exquisite. Did I hear

:55:14. > :55:20.anyone saying that watching Roy Hodgson's side would not be

:55:20. > :55:24.exciting?! It has blown that out of the water, this match, hasn't it?

:55:24. > :55:28.Well, that most dramatic of victories lifts England above

:55:28. > :55:36.victories lifts England above Ukraine, and England need only a

:55:36. > :55:46.point now to secure a place in the quarter-finals. Sweden are

:55:46. > :55:51.

:55:51. > :55:57.eliminated from the tournament, Well, Lee, it is a win, it makes

:55:57. > :56:01.the heart beat faster watching England, doesn't it? We were just

:56:01. > :56:05.saying at half-time, it was not a great game, it was scrappy, but the

:56:05. > :56:11.second half just exploded. At 2-1 Down, you really feared for England.

:56:11. > :56:14.They were looking disjointed, they had given two goals away. But to be

:56:14. > :56:18.fair, the spirit after that was fantastic, Theo Walcott completely

:56:18. > :56:23.changed the game. He completely pushed the defence of Sweden back.

:56:23. > :56:26.They got two fabulous goals. A little bit lucky with the first one,

:56:26. > :56:32.but the second one, the movement, the passing, the keeping of the

:56:32. > :56:36.ball, which was what we wanted them to do, were also much better.

:56:36. > :56:41.may not be the most talented group of individuals England have ever

:56:41. > :56:45.had, but they looked like they have got bags of heart, which is

:56:45. > :56:49.important. We're going to need it, because we are not good enough at

:56:49. > :56:55.keeping the football, it is good enough for everybody -- clear

:56:55. > :56:58.enough for everybody to see. We were just screaming, keep the ball.

:56:58. > :57:03.Welbeck's goal was the only time in the game when we actually kept the

:57:03. > :57:06.ball. These guys are international footballers, playing in the best

:57:06. > :57:10.leader of the world, everybody keeps saying, so they have got to

:57:10. > :57:14.improve, to get better, and to progress in the tournament, they

:57:14. > :57:19.will have to pass it a lot better than they have done tonight. Sweden

:57:19. > :57:22.are an average side, at the most. England had a 20 minute spell in

:57:22. > :57:26.the second half when they were as bad as you could believe, but it is

:57:26. > :57:31.to their credit that they were unable to come back. Roy Hodgson

:57:31. > :57:36.made a substitution, and did it work? Not half. It did, it changed

:57:36. > :57:40.the game. But keeping the ball like they did after they had gone ahead

:57:40. > :57:43.for the last time, it is a lot easier to keep the ball when it is

:57:43. > :57:47.stretched at the end, but we have got to learn to do that in the

:57:47. > :57:51.early part of the game, when it is tight. But it was a fabulous

:57:51. > :57:58.comeback. We can hear now from the man who inspired that come back,

:57:58. > :58:03.Theo Walcott. You scored one, created the winner, you were the

:58:03. > :58:07.game-changer. It is always nice to come off the bench and show what

:58:07. > :58:11.you can do. Obviously disappointed I did not start, but I have been

:58:11. > :58:17.training hard. It is not about the starting line-up, it is the whole

:58:17. > :58:25.squad, we are a family, we are all together. I think you had had three

:58:26. > :58:32.touches! I had been doing lots of warming up, but it is always tough

:58:32. > :58:37.at this level. To silence all of those Sweden fans, the England

:58:37. > :58:40.supporters have been immense. means a lot to them. To make my

:58:40. > :58:44.first appearance in such a high- profile arena, it means so much to

:58:44. > :58:50.me. It has been a long time waiting, and hopefully there will be more to

:58:50. > :58:55.come. Lots of physicality, the high tempo, it was like a Premier League

:58:55. > :59:00.game. Desk, it was always going to be like that. We felt from the

:59:00. > :59:07.first game that we wanted to pick it up a bit more in attack, and we

:59:07. > :59:11.scored three goals. Congratulations. He turned things around. He not

:59:11. > :59:16.only played with his usual place, but he showed real intelligence,

:59:16. > :59:19.which has been questioned at times. What he also gave them was a bit of

:59:19. > :59:24.energy, which England have been lacking going forward. He gave them

:59:24. > :59:28.a bit of pace. As a manager, he one the substitute to come on and make

:59:28. > :59:31.an impact, whether that's defensively or in attack. And

:59:31. > :59:37.certainly, he did that tonight. He gave them pace and energy going

:59:37. > :59:42.forward. In James Milner, and Ashley Young, who I thought was

:59:42. > :59:46.really poor tonight, they did not offer a great deal going forward.

:59:46. > :59:47.England took the lead in the first England took the lead in the first

:59:47. > :59:53.England took the lead in the first half, it was a great ball in and

:59:53. > :59:59.the wonderful header. Yes, Alan was talking before the game about what

:59:59. > :00:04.he would want as a centre-forward, but any centre-forward in the world

:00:04. > :00:10.would welcome a ball in like that. He does really well to get in front

:00:10. > :00:16.of the full-back. He should have been the other side of Andy Carroll

:00:16. > :00:19.really, he gave him too much room, but what a fabulous ball. As a

:00:20. > :00:23.centre-forward, that's what you have got to do, you have got to get

:00:24. > :00:33.in between the centre forward -- the centre half and the full-back.

:00:33. > :00:39.It was a great header. Great reaction from Roy as well. I don't

:00:39. > :00:49.know what happened at half-time - Sweden did not look like scoring in

:00:49. > :00:59.

:00:59. > :01:04.the first half, but it was a couple Johnson is pushed further back. I

:01:04. > :01:10.am not sure that Ashley Young should be picking up Mellberg, when

:01:10. > :01:20.we see it from the next angle. He does not even know where Mellberg

:01:20. > :01:23.

:01:23. > :01:29.is. They are totally disjointed. James Milner follows his man in, he

:01:29. > :01:35.knows where he has. But Ashley Young, not once does he know where

:01:35. > :01:40.Mellberg is. The way that the wall is set up, Ashley Cole is on the

:01:40. > :01:44.edge of the wall and Ashley Young is marking. Swap that around,

:01:44. > :01:50.police. Get the defender in the police. Get the defender in the

:01:50. > :01:59.space running back, doing their defensive work. That was a bad one,

:01:59. > :02:08.but the second one! The ball comes but the second one! The ball comes

:02:08. > :02:15.40 or 50 yards. Nobody picking up. Should be keeper come for it?

:02:15. > :02:19.Perhaps. And how deep are we? was the thing. We talked at half-

:02:19. > :02:25.time about how did they were getting end in the second half,

:02:25. > :02:30.they come under pressure. But there I do not see any of the England

:02:30. > :02:33.lads showing leadership to scream of the back four, to get up on the

:02:33. > :02:40.18 yard line. That is what it is 18 yard line. That is what it is

:02:40. > :02:44.four, to take your mark. There are only two people that can come from,

:02:44. > :02:49.John Terry and the goalkeeper. I said before the game that the

:02:49. > :02:55.goalkeeper before the game was up vocal enough. The can come from

:02:55. > :03:04.Gerrard as well because he is in there marking. It is usually your

:03:04. > :03:10.goalkeeper would not lead centre back. At that stage, the team is

:03:10. > :03:14.flat and struggling, but somehow flat and struggling, but somehow

:03:14. > :03:24.they found something. The substitution made all the different.

:03:24. > :03:32.

:03:32. > :03:39.As the ball comes wide of... This is ironic. What a great save.

:03:39. > :03:43.looks like it is deflected the way the goalkeeper was. And Theo

:03:43. > :03:51.Walcott's expression suggested he thought he was lucky to score.

:03:51. > :04:01.have not got one man on the edge of the box to go and close them down.

:04:01. > :04:03.The goalkeeper, who has just made a fantastic save... And Roy has made

:04:03. > :04:08.fantastic save... And Roy has made the substitutions and has obviously

:04:08. > :04:16.delighted with the goal. Then, all of a sudden, we are shaking, hold

:04:16. > :04:21.it! And what a late do? For the it! And what a late do? For the

:04:21. > :04:30.first time. For the first time, we get hold of the ball. It is very

:04:30. > :04:37.simple. Pass, turned pass, keep the ball. It comes out to the right

:04:37. > :04:42.hand side with another simple little pass. It is basic stuff. And

:04:42. > :04:52.Theo Walcott, again, the energy, that is an excellent finish and an

:04:52. > :04:53.

:04:53. > :04:58.excellent run. That is a fantastic finish. Brilliant. I would just

:04:58. > :05:03.like to see us keep the ball like that in the first half, if we could.

:05:03. > :05:08.What you have to say about Roy Hodgson is he has changed the

:05:08. > :05:13.system tonight, played and the coral -- Andy Carroll and Welbeck

:05:13. > :05:19.up front, both scored a goal and up front, both scored a goal and

:05:19. > :05:29.made the substitutions. He got his decisions right. There is a case

:05:29. > :05:32.

:05:32. > :05:40.there for Theo Walcott starting. I am happy with the finish, but

:05:40. > :05:45.quite disappointed to let two goals in at the start of a second half.

:05:45. > :05:49.But we came back well, and we stuck together. It looked like England

:05:49. > :05:54.wanted to win, and of course you always want to win, but there was

:05:54. > :05:57.no question of settling for the draw. Yes, we know it is going to

:05:57. > :06:02.be better for us if we get three points every single game, and that

:06:02. > :06:06.is what we aim to do. When we went behind, we still had the belief,

:06:06. > :06:12.and we stuck together. Great substitution, Theo Walcott was,

:06:12. > :06:18.wasn't he? He set the goal up for you and also scored. Yes, we all

:06:18. > :06:21.know the ability that Theo Walcott has got. Whoever comes onto the

:06:21. > :06:25.pitch, they are going to make a difference. I am really happy for

:06:25. > :06:29.him. The difference is that you need a point now to guarantee you

:06:29. > :06:38.get through to the quarter-finals. And of course, you can still top

:06:38. > :06:41.the group. Yes, so we will get back to Poland, sit down, get our

:06:41. > :06:50.recovery done, and then our attention will turn to the next

:06:50. > :06:57.match. We will try and get the three points. Congratulations. We

:06:57. > :07:04.will have highlights of both the final matches in Group D on Tuesday

:07:04. > :07:07.night. Before that, England's women are in action against the Dutch in

:07:07. > :07:15.a qualifier for next summer's a qualifier for next summer's

:07:15. > :07:19.European Championships. So, England have got themselves in a good

:07:19. > :07:24.position, Alan - just to draw required against Ukraine, and they

:07:24. > :07:28.did not look too impressive against France. Well, you never know with

:07:28. > :07:33.England. We have drawn our first game, and we said we should be good

:07:33. > :07:38.enough to beat Sweden, and we were, just, but there is a lot to work on.

:07:38. > :07:43.I think the work starts now, I think you go against Ukraine and

:07:43. > :07:47.you win the group. That's important for England now. Go and beat them

:07:47. > :07:53.and finish top of the group. France are slight favourites, with a

:07:53. > :07:58.better goal difference, and Sweden are now out of the tournament.

:07:59. > :08:05.as I said, try and win the group. And obviously, you're trying to

:08:05. > :08:09.avoid Spain if you can in the next round. Enjoy that night, but in

:08:10. > :08:14.possession, as we have said, they will have to be a lot better in the

:08:14. > :08:19.quarter-finals. They will have to be better defensively as well.

:08:19. > :08:23.it inconceivable that England can win this? I cannot see England

:08:23. > :08:28.winning this, we have all said this. Judging by the first team games we

:08:28. > :08:35.have seen, I would stick to that. When you see the top teams, they

:08:35. > :08:40.are still quite a way off them in my book. A long, long, long way off.

:08:40. > :08:46.Well, that's encouraging! Our coverage tonight is coming to a

:08:46. > :08:50.close, but we will have more action on the red button very shortly. In

:08:50. > :08:55.the meantime, it is goodbye from all of us here. We have finally

:08:55. > :09:05.beaten Sweden - it was all a bit predictable, but there you go! Good

:09:05. > :09:29.

:09:29. > :09:39.COMMENTATOR: What a good strike Joe Hart cannot keep it out, and

:09:39. > :09:41.
