:00:36. > :00:48.Hello and welcome to MOTD2 Extra. Coming up this lunchtime: Will
:00:49. > :00:51.Everton or Tottenham this lay their title credentials? Who will win the
:00:52. > :00:59.first Premier League Welsh derby? Or any pundit that Arsenal for the
:01:00. > :01:06.title? Was Jose Mourinho right to be subcritical? Are we close to the
:01:07. > :01:11.next managerial change? We want you to get in touch. All the usual
:01:12. > :01:25.ways, social media, the BBC sport website. In the studio we have Kevin
:01:26. > :01:31.Kilbarchan, Steve Wilson and the football correspondence of the
:01:32. > :01:39.Sunday Telegraph. Jason, there are stories everywhere you look! It's
:01:40. > :01:43.great matches yesterday. It was the complete performance by Arsenal
:01:44. > :01:48.yesterday against Liverpool. They took Liverpool apart. It was that
:01:49. > :01:55.the section of the team that are riding high. Arsenal put on the spur
:01:56. > :02:06.-- a superb display. They outplayed Liverpool totally. For the first
:02:07. > :02:09.hour, Arsenal were in total control. That was a real statement for them,
:02:10. > :02:15.they are serious about their title challenge. We will look at that game
:02:16. > :02:20.in more depth closer. You read Craven cottage yesterday, Steve. I
:02:21. > :02:24.was really impressed by the authority of Manchester United. All
:02:25. > :02:29.their goals came in a 12 minute spell, and they were devastating.
:02:30. > :02:36.There was that swagger about the way they played. David Moyes had to make
:02:37. > :02:42.three changes at half-time because of injury, and that took away from
:02:43. > :02:48.their second-half performance about. Which game do you want to pick out
:02:49. > :02:56.from yesterday? The standard result for me was Newcastle beating
:02:57. > :03:02.Chelsea. Chelsea went there on the back of good performances. I think
:03:03. > :03:04.the Newcastle to come back from their derby defeat last week, that
:03:05. > :03:11.was an outstanding performance. Chelsea had a lot of possession, but
:03:12. > :03:18.Newcastle stood firm. We will look back at all of yesterday 's games in
:03:19. > :03:26.a little while. There are two huge teams today, the Welsh derby later
:03:27. > :03:35.on. Let's start with Everton against Tottenham. That kicks off at 1:30pm.
:03:36. > :03:51.Seven against six. Neven is at the ground for us. Is your voice better
:03:52. > :03:56.than last week? It couldn't be any worse! I can just about speak this
:03:57. > :04:04.week. Where will this game be won and lost? There is good quality logo
:04:05. > :04:07.the field. I think much more do depth in the Tottenham squad than
:04:08. > :04:13.there has been for many years. Looking at Everton, they are
:04:14. > :04:19.stronger now than they were last season. They can go and really push
:04:20. > :04:32.for the European places. I think it is no surprise that they can really
:04:33. > :04:36.push. Tottenham play a really high line at the moment. The starting
:04:37. > :04:42.position is really high up in Everton will try to make good use of
:04:43. > :04:48.that. There is no doubt in my mind that the manager will be trying to
:04:49. > :05:00.get their act more balls over the back of this centre backs. From what
:05:01. > :05:10.you have seen this season about Tottenham, are they set up better
:05:11. > :05:20.away from home than at home? Spurs historically have always been
:05:21. > :05:26.incredibly creative. For me the look like a very powerful size in
:05:27. > :05:40.mid-season -- powerful side. The just wasn't enough creativity. You
:05:41. > :05:44.will need to play Eriksson. If you're going to break down this
:05:45. > :05:55.Everton defence, and it is a really good defence, with Gareth Barry and
:05:56. > :06:02.that little bit more protection, so you will need creativity to beat
:06:03. > :06:18.them away at home -- away from home. I hope it is an open game, how we
:06:19. > :06:29.expect Tottenham to play. Thank you. Enjoy the game.
:06:30. > :06:34.After Andre the last bus made the comments about the fans, the fans
:06:35. > :06:40.got back in touch with us and kind of backed up what said, if you want
:06:41. > :06:50.us to show more into UCS and excitement, give us accepting the
:06:51. > :06:53.role. I thought 1050 news ago there was a real atmosphere problem at
:06:54. > :07:04.White Hart Lane, but I think these days can be pretty good. I agree
:07:05. > :07:15.with what says. I have been so impressed with Pioline knew. He was
:07:16. > :07:22.great in the Confederation cup. For ?18 million, it is not a snip, but I
:07:23. > :07:38.think is exceptional value for money. I think the big Achilles
:07:39. > :07:53.fought Tottenham is upfront. Jermaine Defoe, when he played he
:07:54. > :08:01.played well. But he has struggled. Upfront you look at the attack line
:08:02. > :08:07.from Everton, and I think they need is that sharpness upfront. With all
:08:08. > :08:11.the changes in the summer, all the upheaval for Tottenham, look how
:08:12. > :08:16.stable they are at the back. They will get that, they will improve.
:08:17. > :08:28.The fact they are up there now is dangerous for everyone else. They
:08:29. > :08:31.need a consistent goal-scorer. Jermaine Defoe is a consistent
:08:32. > :08:41.goal-scorer. I think there was one big chance in the last game for
:08:42. > :08:45.money didn't take it. The only way you would question Tottenham Knight
:08:46. > :08:54.is that main front man. They have so much talent to the rest of the
:08:55. > :09:03.midfield. Despite the three of you eulogising spurs and the job that
:09:04. > :09:08.Andre Villas-Boas has done. Somebody has got in touch with us to say that
:09:09. > :09:14.the fit all is woeful and he doubts that Andre Villas-Boas will be there
:09:15. > :09:20.next season. The pundits and the media seemed to praise a lot of the
:09:21. > :09:25.work of Andre Villas-Boas, but some apathy from the fans. They made so
:09:26. > :09:42.many changes through the summer. Young players as well. I think the
:09:43. > :09:47.supporters of being a bit too critical at the moment. They are not
:09:48. > :09:53.playing as badly as the fans into think. There are dominating
:09:54. > :10:01.possession, but not getting the goals. Tottenham have been keeping
:10:02. > :10:07.the ball well. I saw them against Cardiff, they dominated the session
:10:08. > :10:15.that did not create enough. Are we saying that they are not winning by
:10:16. > :10:22.enough gesture Mark I think that is a sign of a good side, to scored
:10:23. > :10:42.late on. The Kaku is all over the Sunday papers. He said even playing
:10:43. > :10:47.football on the computer is a serious business. He said that when
:10:48. > :11:02.he looks at a game and notices something, Andre Villas-Boas always
:11:03. > :11:08.notices the same thing. He is a lot more than a big lump upfront. He is
:11:09. > :11:15.intelligent. I think you join Celtic far too early in his career --
:11:16. > :11:21.Chelsea far too early in his career, to be honest. He has gone on
:11:22. > :11:25.loan to Everton and it has been a great move for him. I think he wants
:11:26. > :11:33.to learn and get better. Technically he is not the greatest, but in terms
:11:34. > :11:46.of how effective he is a -- is that scoring goals -- at scoring goals.
:11:47. > :11:51.We went to see him at the Newcastle game and he was outstanding, Lukaku.
:11:52. > :11:57.He could hold a play, challenge for balls. When Chelsea sign Didier
:11:58. > :12:05.drop, he was a 26 Turing complete striker. Lukaku is still young and
:12:06. > :12:13.has a lot to improve on. Why would Chelsea have put out on them? -- on
:12:14. > :12:20.loan? Would he not have been better to stay and work with Jose Mourinho?
:12:21. > :12:24.It is unusual. I think he has the potential to be one of the best
:12:25. > :12:34.virus in the world. When he goes back to Chelsea, I think you will
:12:35. > :12:37.blossom. If he has that kind of relationship with Roberto Martinez
:12:38. > :12:45.where he is discussing X, he is probably better off working with
:12:46. > :12:51.Roberto Martinez. I think Roberto Martinez and Jose Mourinho, he will
:12:52. > :12:56.probably have that same relationship with Jose Mourinho coming he is a
:12:57. > :13:01.manager who likes to talk tactics. If I wanted to put on a striker will
:13:02. > :13:08.with 20 minutes to go, I would rather be bringing on Lukaku than
:13:09. > :13:13.anyone else. The second big game today is of course the Welsh derby.
:13:14. > :13:21.Let's look at -- look back at some of yesterday 's games now.
:13:22. > :13:29.We gave a great convincing performance today. We have had some
:13:30. > :13:34.good games but because they were not against the top teams, people might
:13:35. > :13:37.have been sceptical. The fact that is against a team that is up there
:13:38. > :13:44.with you, does that say something, doesn't send the message? I think it
:13:45. > :13:55.will improve the confidence level 13. Hopefully we can get our fans
:13:56. > :14:00.behind the team. This group of players are so one must. There is
:14:01. > :14:05.one thing that we have done very well is bounceback. We have an
:14:06. > :14:11.important game next week against Fulham. Tonight was a game where
:14:12. > :14:17.Arsenal are a team that have been operating for 15 years at Champions
:14:18. > :14:23.League level, and you see that in their squad. All the texts are on
:14:24. > :14:38.Arsenal and whether they can win the title. Will not win the title. If
:14:39. > :14:43.Arsenal can come through unscathed at Old Trafford next week, how they
:14:44. > :14:48.title contenders? I don't think they will win the title. I just think
:14:49. > :15:03.that Chelsea and Manchester city are stronger. They have so much quality.
:15:04. > :15:07.They are a serious team. This is the first part of this next phase for
:15:08. > :19:07.Arsenal. I think they're going to very strong.
:19:08. > :19:14.I can see kwhie he is doing it. Ultimately in the big games, he will
:19:15. > :19:24.play them both. But he will have to tinker with them. He can play with
:19:25. > :19:32.the back four and Suarez. He has cow Tainio coming -- cow Tainio coming
:19:33. > :19:38.back. When your playing the top side, I don't think it will be good
:19:39. > :19:46.enough to play against the top sides. I would say playing 3-5-2,
:19:47. > :19:55.for me, Liverpool's best defender. Or their best defensive footballer
:19:56. > :19:58.is Danieling aer -- is Daniel Agger. I thought Liverpool would get
:19:59. > :20:08.something yesterday and I saw the defence and I thought maybe not. One
:20:09. > :20:14.viewer said however well Arsenal played, the referee won the game. He
:20:15. > :20:17.punished Liverpool a second time by disallowing the goal from the quick
:20:18. > :20:26.free kick. I tried to make that point in the office and got shouted
:20:27. > :20:30.town. He is right Martin Atkinson had blown the whistle. As soon as he
:20:31. > :20:35.blows the whistle, he is right with the decision. It is disappointing
:20:36. > :20:41.for Liverpool, when they go on and score. But Atkinson was right. I did
:20:42. > :20:46.try to put that point across. Now one of the other games, Newcastle's
:20:47. > :20:50.win over Chelsea and here is Alan Pardew. We had a little game plan to
:20:51. > :20:54.conserve our energy and crank it up as the game went on. That worked for
:20:55. > :21:00.us and we were cautious at the start and wouldn't let them play for us.
:21:01. > :21:07.We had the options of substitutes and energy and got a goal at a great
:21:08. > :21:13.time. It has been a fabulous day and you know we are trying to do the
:21:14. > :21:20.right things here. From the owner down wards. That was reflected in
:21:21. > :21:28.the result. Ollie said are Newcastle the most unpredictable team in the
:21:29. > :21:33.league? Possibly. It has been a bit like the early years of David Moyes
:21:34. > :21:38.at Everton, if you think about a great season and then a bad season
:21:39. > :21:42.and a middling season. But a great result yesterday. They have got some
:21:43. > :21:50.good players. They have got some real match winners. Remy has been a
:21:51. > :21:55.great signing, he terrorised Chelsea yesterday, who were strangely
:21:56. > :22:03.nonaggressive. Some of the defending was odd. I can see why Mourinho was
:22:04. > :22:10.angry. Pardew has said he is trying to learn how to get the best out of
:22:11. > :22:14.Ben Arfa. It does seem as though Alan Pardew is trying to fit the
:22:15. > :22:19.players into a system that works. Yes, with Ben Arfa you hear great
:22:20. > :22:26.things about him on the training ground, but he is very inconsistent.
:22:27. > :22:32.We mentioned the Everton game and he struggled. And I saw the Tyne/Wear
:22:33. > :22:37.Derby and he struggled. With Ben Arfa, it is difficult, he plays on
:22:38. > :22:42.the right and he played on the left last week. He doesn't do, he can't
:22:43. > :22:46.seem to play on the left, because he doesn't seem to have the pace to
:22:47. > :22:50.beat somebody and so he likes to come inside. We saw that thing last
:22:51. > :22:57.night of Cabaye talking to Alan Pardew before the free kick. Jack
:22:58. > :23:01.says, surely Pardew can't be credited for the first goal, all he
:23:02. > :23:07.could have said is put the ball in the box. Well, he didn't try to take
:23:08. > :23:10.credit. Cabaye, one problem was he was injured and then he was
:23:11. > :23:15.unsettled. But he is their key player. He is their play maker and
:23:16. > :23:21.can make them tick. He could be the difference between them bag top ten
:23:22. > :23:26.team and not. Jason and Kevin, Jason you mentioned Jose Mourinho didn't
:23:27. > :23:38.seem happy after the game. Let's hear from him. I'm angry. Because I
:23:39. > :23:44.don't understand. I don't understand why after a fantastic line of
:23:45. > :23:51.watches -- matches and performances we have this game. I was expecting
:23:52. > :23:58.to lose my next game when the opponent was fantastic, when you
:23:59. > :24:02.were very unlucky and for some reason you could not get the result
:24:03. > :24:07.and you play within your limits to get the result. To lose a match when
:24:08. > :24:15.you feel that your players are not tired, because they were not in the
:24:16. > :24:25.limits what I don't like. It is something I have to like. The
:24:26. > :24:29.Observer say, I made eleven mistakes. Of course I'm exaggerating
:24:30. > :24:35.he said, we had some guys with normal performances, but the feeling
:24:36. > :24:38.is I made eleven bad choices and he criticises their intensity in the
:24:39. > :24:46.first 45 minutes. Alan Pardew said they had a plan, did Newcastle, not
:24:47. > :24:51.to go at it hammer and tongs. Yes drop off and it is always difficult
:24:52. > :24:57.for a side when you go to Newcastle or which ever club, lesser clubs, or
:24:58. > :25:00.lesser teams, were you -- where your expected to win. It is difficult to
:25:01. > :25:04.break them down. Newcastle stayed in the game and it shows what a good
:25:05. > :25:11.performance, how tactically Pardew got it right. This a clever. Very
:25:12. > :25:17.clever from Pardew. You wouldn't expect it to be about harrying and
:25:18. > :25:21.that was the opposite. There is no point in taking them on and they had
:25:22. > :25:25.that game in midweek and played extra time. He would be worried that
:25:26. > :25:28.in the second half they would be too tired. So it was clever and the fans
:25:29. > :25:37.would expect you to go at Chelsea and try and get the result. I think
:25:38. > :25:42.it show asthma churty. It is brave at St James's the crowd want you to
:25:43. > :25:46.press and it is easy to press and lose your discipline. But I think
:25:47. > :25:50.they played well. They were playing Chelsea, the fans would have
:25:51. > :25:55.expected Chelsea to have come and won. The fact that Newcastle stayed
:25:56. > :26:00.in it as long as they did, the supporters would back that. They
:26:01. > :26:07.were playing a strong side. And now Norwich and Fulham. First Norwich. A
:26:08. > :26:12.lot of texts on this, up with saying Chris Hughton was let down by his
:26:13. > :26:20.prayers -- players. As a Portsmouth fan says Luke, I know how painful it
:26:21. > :26:25.can be watching your club spiral down. Jessie said what no cress it
:26:26. > :26:34.the for -- credit for Manchester City. Some of the play Wurz amazing.
:26:35. > :26:40.-- was amazing. City were unplayable in places. Manchester Mi would have
:26:41. > :26:47.beaten most teams yesterday. But not many would have lost by seven. You
:26:48. > :26:52.worry nor Chris Hughton. I saw a quote that said they finished each
:26:53. > :26:56.year higher than they had the previous year. They finished
:26:57. > :27:03.eleventh last year. If the bar over which Chris Hughton's Norwich is top
:27:04. > :27:08.ten, I think it will be a struggle. Thing they will do well to -- I
:27:09. > :27:11.think they will do well to survive. You have got to be careful what you
:27:12. > :27:14.wish for and they spent a lot of money and I have seen this with
:27:15. > :27:19.clubs, they go for it and spend the money and expect more and sometimes
:27:20. > :27:25.it is not as easy as that. It doesn't just happen. You develop a
:27:26. > :27:29.way of playing. Houghton is a defensively sound manager, but he
:27:30. > :27:35.brought players in and you have somebody like Hooper and van wolf
:27:36. > :27:39.win Kell and they think they aren't playing well together. They see him
:27:40. > :27:44.as a conservative manager and then they lose 7-0 and you think they're
:27:45. > :27:49.not even shutting up shop. If we are talking about fixtures in relation
:27:50. > :27:53.to Arsenal, we have to do the same with Norwich. They went and won at
:27:54. > :27:59.Stoke. You could argue they were unluck Iy -- unlucky at home to
:28:00. > :28:03.Chelsea. They went to Arsenal where they were 2-1 down and Hughton came
:28:04. > :28:09.out in his interview and said we decided we would go for it and they
:28:10. > :28:15.lost 4-1. They probably should have beaten Cardiff and then they go to
:28:16. > :28:21.Manchester City. They haven't had the easiest fixtures. They have had
:28:22. > :28:26.a tough start. But when you lose 7-0 there will be questions asked. Chris
:28:27. > :28:31.will be hurting, but he doesn't take away from the fact the job he has
:28:32. > :28:35.done and taking over from Paul Lamb Bert was a difficult job and they
:28:36. > :28:41.started poorly. I thought towards the end of the season they were
:28:42. > :28:45.playing well and they have defensively sound. The problem with
:28:46. > :28:50.these clubs, sometimes a club like Norwich they go to the next level
:28:51. > :28:55.and board's lose patience when you have spent ?20 million. Is a similar
:28:56. > :29:00.thing with Southampton, they spent a lot, but it is working. It is almost
:29:01. > :29:04.as a manager you are caught between thinking I want to spend the money,
:29:05. > :29:12.but if their ambition raises it gives me less time. Norrive's --
:29:13. > :29:19.Norwich's problem last season was scoring goals and they have bought
:29:20. > :29:26.strikers. But it hasn't solved the problem. A they are thinking, we
:29:27. > :29:32.don't have massive resources and we need these players playing. West Ham
:29:33. > :29:45.at home is the next game for Norwich. Let's return to Everton
:29:46. > :29:50.against Spurs and the team news. Second place in the table is the
:29:51. > :30:00.prize on offer here. Roberto Martinez has made one change. Leon
:30:01. > :30:07.Osman has been brought back in after playing well off the bench last
:30:08. > :30:11.time. Andre Villas-Boas was busy more happy with last Sunday, because
:30:12. > :30:22.he has gone for that exact same team. The good news is, the weather
:30:23. > :30:34.is improving here after a very stormy morning.
:30:35. > :30:43.We were talking about Ross Barkley, saying her Roberto Martinez has
:30:44. > :30:53.stuck with him. Let's move on to fill and Martin Jol. He was asked
:30:54. > :31:00.yesterday about this the natives not being happy. And you can see why. We
:31:01. > :31:05.don't know much about the new owner of Fulham, so we don't know which
:31:06. > :31:08.way he will go. He has said some good things on football focus
:31:09. > :31:13.yesterday in an interview which have been recorded prior to their last
:31:14. > :31:18.couple of defeats. He was saying when things start getting tough,
:31:19. > :31:28.that is not the time to do anything rash. He stuck with the coach last
:31:29. > :31:34.year. They won two and lost four team in the NFL with the
:31:35. > :31:48.Jacksonville Jaguars, then got rid of him. He didn't approve -- appoint
:31:49. > :31:53.Martin Jol, that is another thing. This person says that Fulham were
:31:54. > :32:06.disjointed again last time. The lack of work great at times is not good.
:32:07. > :32:11.They did have a philosophy where they had to retreat players going
:32:12. > :32:21.forwards, and that left the midfield exposed. United will always come and
:32:22. > :32:28.play well. Looking at Newcastle, when you play against a top team is
:32:29. > :32:35.a way to get results. I think Martin Jol will struggle to survive much
:32:36. > :32:38.longer. If Martin O'Neill goes to the Republic of Ireland, that
:32:39. > :32:44.would've been a manager that they might have considered his no longer
:32:45. > :32:48.in the market. Having been at Craven cottage yesterday, after 30 minutes
:32:49. > :32:53.I was thinking that United could win this by seven and Martin Jol could
:32:54. > :32:58.be out by tomorrow. The last 60 minutes was a lot better. They
:32:59. > :33:02.didn't look like a group of players who were going to throw in the tile.
:33:03. > :33:11.Their fixture list has been easier than Norwich's. Recently they have
:33:12. > :33:18.had Cardiff, Stoke, Crystal Palace. Their home form has been terrible.
:33:19. > :33:25.They keep conceding late goals. Given that traditionally Fulham have
:33:26. > :33:30.always been good at home. They have been very reliant on the past on
:33:31. > :33:39.their home form. I think they have a core squad of 23 players, and 11 of
:33:40. > :33:44.them are over 30 years old. Let's move on to the big Welsh derby.
:33:45. > :33:55.Begin here first of all from Malcolm Mackay. It is not just another
:33:56. > :34:00.game. It is only three points but there is a lot of importance
:34:01. > :34:06.attached to the game. It is the first time we have played each other
:34:07. > :34:15.in the top level. That being the case it is very special for everyone
:34:16. > :34:29.in South Wales. It has definitely got an extra bite to it. That helps
:34:30. > :34:37.players. Jason, quite a few of the players are talking about Malcolm
:34:38. > :34:44.Mackay, saying he is on the brink. Is this another manager that might
:34:45. > :34:51.not stay? There were rumours during the summer that he was looking for
:34:52. > :34:55.another job. I think there is an inevitability about having to leave
:34:56. > :35:00.the club, but he has done such a good job that he can just jump, he
:35:01. > :35:05.has to wait for the right job to come up. I don't think Crystal
:35:06. > :35:10.Palace would be a good option for him. Norwich might come available
:35:11. > :35:17.and he has a link there. He must be planning ahead, where will he end
:35:18. > :35:22.his season? Aside from goes on on the pitch today there is a
:35:23. > :35:26.fascinating managerial hierarchy backdrop to this game but I Cardiff
:35:27. > :35:32.have been run and host Swansea have an. Every succession at Swansea is
:35:33. > :35:37.smooth and the managers are brought in specifically to keep their
:35:38. > :35:44.philosophy going. Swansea have been great at appointing good managers at
:35:45. > :35:47.the right time. It is such a shame because Cardiff have been so close
:35:48. > :35:52.to getting into the Premier League for so long, they have finally done
:35:53. > :35:56.it, they look at this stage of the season like they will probably not
:35:57. > :36:01.be in any bother of going down. Everything should be great! It
:36:02. > :36:06.should be a fantastic celebration of the season, and it is so close to
:36:07. > :36:18.going pear shaped. You just want that to happen. There are warning
:36:19. > :36:20.signs, alarm bells ringing. We have watched so much the ball over the
:36:21. > :36:31.years and you see these things happening where it has a knock-on
:36:32. > :36:37.effect, it affects the players. We have seen too often. It is a four
:36:38. > :36:40.o'clock kick-off. We will have highlights literate and out on BBC
:36:41. > :36:52.One. Let's hear from Michael Laudrup. I know a lot about derbies.
:36:53. > :37:07.I played in Denmark, I played U and rumour, I played Riel Madrid
:37:08. > :37:12.Barcelona. I always hear that when they come to new places, this derby
:37:13. > :37:19.is the most special, the biggest one. They all say that. They say the
:37:20. > :37:26.same up in Glasgow. They can't all be the most important, but it is the
:37:27. > :37:32.most important for these fans. In the Premier League there are 17 is
:37:33. > :37:38.that will always be in the top seven places. And Newcastle got into the
:37:39. > :37:48.fifth position, that can happen once in a while, but after that you have
:37:49. > :37:52.what I call our league. I think last year we got the maximum. I think
:37:53. > :37:57.West Brom just one more point than us. We are at the top of our league
:37:58. > :38:08.and if we could do that again for the third consecutive year, remained
:38:09. > :38:25.there in the mid-table from number eight to number 12, that would be a
:38:26. > :38:31.huge success. He doesn't have a bad CV! The Merseyside derby, the
:38:32. > :38:37.north-east derby, they are all big derbies. There is an extra special
:38:38. > :38:42.deal to begin because this is the first time they have met in the
:38:43. > :38:47.Premier League. Today we are all watching, it'll be an atmosphere, it
:38:48. > :38:52.will be a good game to watch. He puts it into perspective of what he
:38:53. > :38:57.is saying. The history of this game is pretty bad, really, in terms of
:38:58. > :39:05.violence. The fans have been pretty badly in the past. The potential for
:39:06. > :39:10.being quite nasty is high, so hopefully that won't happen. The
:39:11. > :39:14.room derby is pretty bad, I have been to one of those before and it
:39:15. > :39:18.is pretty bad about this one can be vicious. On the pitch, if Cardiff
:39:19. > :39:28.when this they will go above Swansea. When you think about not
:39:29. > :39:35.just Cardiff and Swansea, but the 12 months that Welsh football has had,
:39:36. > :39:41.with Wrexham in Newport and Gareth Beale, it has been an unbelievable
:39:42. > :39:55.year for Welsh football funds at -- for Welsh football. We are staying
:39:56. > :40:00.on BBC One and on the sport website. We will continue on BBC One
:40:01. > :40:04.and the website with the biggest argument that there has been in the
:40:05. > :40:11.office this morning, which is simply about to night school of the month.
:40:12. > :40:17.You will decide that via Twitter are on the sport website. We will open
:40:18. > :40:21.voting on the show later tonight. That means the body here has a say
:40:22. > :40:35.in it, which is a good job, because if you were judging tonight it will
:40:36. > :40:39.already be decided. You said that Kassami macro was the best Goldie
:40:40. > :40:52.had ever seen in the Premier League. Everything was time to perfection.
:40:53. > :40:59.Technically, he had to move into space, take it on the chest, away
:41:00. > :41:04.from goal at an angle. On his weaker foot to knock it over the
:41:05. > :41:17.goalkeeper, and incredible goal. The best Premier League goal ever.
:41:18. > :41:27.That, for me, topped the lot of them. And that may come second! I
:41:28. > :41:36.would go for Kassami's call. I think it was an incredible one off school.
:41:37. > :41:40.It might not winter night. The chip -based Rich was fantastic against
:41:41. > :41:48.West Bromwich Albion. The goal by Jack Welch was amazing. I forgot
:41:49. > :41:57.about Morrison'sgoal. I would go for Kassami, I think sometimes you have
:41:58. > :42:03.to take into account the occasion. It can be the greatest goal the
:42:04. > :42:09.Premier League. There have been greater goal surely in greater
:42:10. > :42:18.occasions. I would say the call by Robin van Persie was a greater goal.
:42:19. > :42:24.On the tech week thing, was the goal by Kassami better than Wayne
:42:25. > :42:30.Rooney's overhead kick? Again, that was a great goal. That is my
:42:31. > :42:34.opinion. Do you go Maradona'sagainst England in 1956
:42:35. > :42:38.was the best goal I have ever seen. In the Premier League year it, and
:42:39. > :42:44.they know we were talking about timing of goals, the importance of
:42:45. > :42:48.them in big games, but for everything that that goal had, it
:42:49. > :42:57.was the best. I cant believe that of the ten, the goal by Luis Swire is,
:42:58. > :43:03.his second goal as in, but the first wasn't. Some calls had to miss out.
:43:04. > :43:10.The occasion does play a part, doesn't it? It has to do. Not just
:43:11. > :43:17.what it means, but also the opponent you're playing against. With the
:43:18. > :43:25.best will in the world, it was scored against not the greatest
:43:26. > :43:31.goalkeeper. Surely the psychology of that place apart. The goal by Wayne
:43:32. > :43:40.Rooney was against Manchester city in a derby. As an individual goal, a
:43:41. > :43:47.wonderful strike, regardless of the occasion, that is the best because
:43:48. > :43:56.of his movement. Well, you don't decide, you decide out there! We
:43:57. > :43:58.will have the vote tonight on match of the day too. We will see you all
:43:59. > :44:01.next week. Goodbye.
