:00:32. > :00:36.Hello. Welcome to Match Of The Day 2 Extra, discussing all the weekend's
:00:37. > :00:41.football on BBC One, Radio 5 live and the BBC Sport website. And
:00:42. > :00:45.coming up on the show today, we'll discuss whether Chelsea's royal
:00:46. > :00:48.upset at the Palace has really ended their title hopes, ask what three
:00:49. > :00:55.points means for Pulis, and reflect on Rodgers' Reds, and whether Tim's
:00:56. > :01:00.time's up at Spurs. Liverpool could go top of the table with just one
:01:01. > :01:03.point. Joining me today are former Liverpool and Man City midfielder
:01:04. > :01:05.Didi Hamman, Match Of The Day commentator Steve Bower, and the
:01:06. > :01:13.Daily Mirror's chief sports writer, Ollie Holt. We wanted to get
:01:14. > :01:21.involved as well, text us, find us on social media. We will get to your
:01:22. > :01:27.comments a little later. Only one place to start, Crystal Palace's 1-0
:01:28. > :01:31.win over Chelsea at Selhurst Park. We will get onto praising Crystal
:01:32. > :01:35.Palace shortly, but are you surprised, Ollie Holt, at the
:01:36. > :01:40.negativity that is coming from Jose Mourinho? Criticising his players'
:01:41. > :01:47.courage, saying the title race is over for them? I am not surprised,
:01:48. > :01:51.no, because that has been his mantra all season. It fits in with that
:01:52. > :01:55.theme, to be honest, it has been his beam all season, we are not good
:01:56. > :02:00.enough to win it, it is a joke to say we are going to win it. So if
:02:01. > :02:04.they do win, he is a genius - that has always been his narrative this
:02:05. > :02:10.season, and you know, I think it is probably a result that not many
:02:11. > :02:13.people saw coming, I didn't. But I have tipped Chelsea since the start
:02:14. > :02:18.of the season, and I will stick with them - there have been so many
:02:19. > :02:23.twists in this title race, it has been a brilliant season, I think,
:02:24. > :02:29.and there are probably plenty more left. They have got experience, you
:02:30. > :02:31.know, they are a class side, they rested a couple yesterday probably
:02:32. > :02:36.for the Champions League, which is an issue for them, I think. I think
:02:37. > :02:41.they are up against it now, but I am going to stick with them. We will
:02:42. > :02:48.talk more about Jose Mourinho, but is it over for Chelsea? According to
:02:49. > :02:53.him, they have never been in it! In a way, you are giving your players
:02:54. > :02:56.and excuse when they do fail. I think that is exactly what happened,
:02:57. > :03:00.I am not surprised that he goes to town with his players, because that
:03:01. > :03:04.is what he has always done. I think it could have an impact on his
:03:05. > :03:08.long-term, you know, future at the club, because if you do that with
:03:09. > :03:14.players, they do not take it too well. They lost to games against
:03:15. > :03:18.Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, and now they are in a situation where
:03:19. > :03:22.once they must win at Anfield. They are not scoring many goals, I cannot
:03:23. > :03:27.see it. I think it is between Liverpool and Manchester City. Did
:03:28. > :03:31.you see it coming? No, but Crystal Palace is away is one of those
:03:32. > :03:36.fixtures were the big boys could slip up, it is one of the best
:03:37. > :03:40.atmospheres in a stadium, the Selhurst Park crowd. But that team
:03:41. > :03:44.they put out, they probably had half an eye on PSG, but they were still
:03:45. > :03:49.good enough to beat Crystal Palace if they earned the right to play.
:03:50. > :03:52.Palace wanted it more, I will praise Tony Pulis later, but that is the
:03:53. > :03:59.type of fixed yet - if you're going to win the league - that you need to
:04:00. > :04:01.get something from. Let's hear from Jose Mourinho after that defeat
:04:02. > :04:12.yesterday, we will drill down into it. I think now we lose any chance
:04:13. > :04:18.of finishing first, I think. Now we depend too much on other results. We
:04:19. > :04:24.threw away three points. We lost against a team that is difficult,
:04:25. > :04:30.but we lost against a team that was better than us in terms of spirit,
:04:31. > :04:35.mentality, and that is the last thing that normally my teams are.
:04:36. > :04:40.You talk about how it can affect players, but given the players know
:04:41. > :04:47.how Jose Mourinho works, will they pay a great deal of attention to
:04:48. > :04:52.that? The players who were there are five or six years ago when he was
:04:53. > :04:58.their first time, they know how the deals with it. When you publicly
:04:59. > :05:01.criticise your players, it can go either way. If you do not get a
:05:02. > :05:05.reaction in the next four or five games, it could go the other way -
:05:06. > :05:11.players may think, did he need to say that? He says we have no chance
:05:12. > :05:15.to win it, we are out of it, and all of a sudden we gave the title away.
:05:16. > :05:23.What does he want? Where do we stand? It will be interesting how
:05:24. > :05:29.they go. If Tim Sherwood said that... I was just going to say
:05:30. > :05:33.that! We were told that would be the mark of a naive manager, derring-do
:05:34. > :05:39.disses players in public. And yet Mourinho, who we are told is the
:05:40. > :05:42.master of mind games, the master of motivation, which he has proved many
:05:43. > :05:49.times in the past, he is doing something similar. So double
:05:50. > :05:55.standards on behalf of us as a country looking at, I don't know,
:05:56. > :05:58.criticising a naive English manager? Or is it the media, something we
:05:59. > :06:04.touch on a fair bit, treating Mourinho differently to how we treat
:06:05. > :06:08.other managers? I am aware of that accusation. From non-Chelsea fans,
:06:09. > :06:11.saying we lack of everything he says. Maybe we do to a certain
:06:12. > :06:17.extent, but in defence of the English media, he doesn't have a bad
:06:18. > :06:22.record as a manager. He is one of the greatest managers there has ever
:06:23. > :06:26.been in terms of winning European cups, Champions Leagues, leads in
:06:27. > :06:32.different countries. He is not a bad coach! If anyone said what he said
:06:33. > :06:37.about Arsene Wenger, any other manager would have been slaughtered
:06:38. > :06:42.in the press for weeks. One remark, one day, he is a failure because he
:06:43. > :06:46.has not won a trophy. Any other manager would have got harsher
:06:47. > :06:51.treatment. I thought he was heavily... I thought that lacked
:06:52. > :06:57.class, like most people. I thought it was a cheap shot. But I thought
:06:58. > :07:02.it was heavily criticised for that. I wonder, you make the point about
:07:03. > :07:05.Tim Sherwood questioning his players - if Arsene Wenger had been negative
:07:06. > :07:09.in post-match interviews and Arsenal had been beaten at Aston Villa,
:07:10. > :07:15.Crystal Palace, would there be greater discussion of Arsenal in
:07:16. > :07:18.this situation? I think it comes down to managerial style, and we
:07:19. > :07:22.never know what Mourinho will say inside the dressing room and in
:07:23. > :07:27.front of the camera. Arsene Wenger, you really have to push him in an
:07:28. > :07:30.interview to get anything to publicly criticises players.
:07:31. > :07:34.Arguably the best manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, inside the dressing room,
:07:35. > :07:39.I know for a fact he would let rip. But when the camera would come, in
:07:40. > :07:44.our position you push and push, he would not slaughter his own players
:07:45. > :07:48.in public. So two very different sides to that. Whether Mourinho is
:07:49. > :07:52.different inside the dressing room than he is publicly, whether the
:07:53. > :07:55.players think, he is saying that for the public, but what we have been
:07:56. > :08:00.told is different, that remains to be seen. But the greatest manager of
:08:01. > :08:04.them all would not publicly slaughter his players. Josh in
:08:05. > :08:09.Nottingham, Chelsea need to buy a world-class striker, Diego Costa?
:08:10. > :08:16.Torres and Samuel Eto'o are not cutting it. Craig in Cardiff, we
:08:17. > :08:22.need a decent striker, we should never have sold Sturridge. Some of
:08:23. > :08:27.2013 and 2014, spent a total of ?109 million, they have recouped nearly
:08:28. > :08:31.57 million of that, mainly through Juan Mata but also Kevin De Bruyner.
:08:32. > :08:37.We all come back to this, they need a top-class striker. That has been a
:08:38. > :08:42.Achilles heel all season, that they have one of the best defences in the
:08:43. > :08:46.Premier League, but they cannot or do not score enough goals. They have
:08:47. > :08:49.not got a centre forward who is in double figures for this Premier
:08:50. > :08:53.League season, and it is very hard to win the league like that.
:08:54. > :08:57.Liverpool, they have made all the difference this season. Letting
:08:58. > :09:02.Lukaku go was a strange decision, I think he would have done better than
:09:03. > :09:06.all three put together in the Chelsea team. But they need to bring
:09:07. > :09:10.somebody in. He came in, and you cannot judge him on his first
:09:11. > :09:13.season, you have to give him one or two more seasons before you judge
:09:14. > :09:19.him, but they have not really made much progress. Last year, they were
:09:20. > :09:24.winners of the rubber league, they finished third, a pretty good end to
:09:25. > :09:29.the season. -- the Europa League. I do not think they made much progress
:09:30. > :09:33.this year. Allen in Hertfordshire, is negativity did not bother the
:09:34. > :09:41.players when they post four past Spurs, six past Arsenal. Gordon
:09:42. > :09:46.says, why is the focus is always on the the Chelsea team, rather than
:09:47. > :09:50.the team they lost against? A good .4 matches the city at Arsenal, or
:09:51. > :10:00.will they regret not holding onto it? -- a good point for City. The
:10:01. > :10:04.mentality of that is that it is still a difficult fixture, everybody
:10:05. > :10:08.thought Manchester City would power on, give Arsenal credit for coming
:10:09. > :10:12.back into it. I do not think they will be too disappointed with a
:10:13. > :10:16.point at Arsenal and three from Old Trafford, I think Pellegrini would
:10:17. > :10:21.have taken that. That is what he said afterwards, we will take that.
:10:22. > :10:24.They have still got to go to Liverpool and Everton, Goodison Park
:10:25. > :10:30.is one of the hardest rounds to get a result this season as well with
:10:31. > :10:38.their home record. There will be twists and turns, but I think at the
:10:39. > :10:43.moment that looks a good point. This afternoon's game, Liverpool, if they
:10:44. > :10:50.get a point at home to Spurs, will go top of the table. This is live on
:10:51. > :10:53.5 live. Both managers have been arguing about who is under the most
:10:54. > :10:58.pressure, we can hear from them. I think that, you know, there was no
:10:59. > :11:06.expectation of us being where we are, so there is certainly no
:11:07. > :11:11.pressure on ourselves. Obviously, other teams, I suppose the likes of
:11:12. > :11:14.Tottenham, will be a team that was maybe looking to challenge for the
:11:15. > :11:21.league this season. The pressure is on Liverpool. Since there little
:11:22. > :11:25.with the other night at Sunderland, when Sunderland got back in the
:11:26. > :11:30.game, after winning so many titles in their time, they are very close.
:11:31. > :11:35.One point off the lead, absolutely flying, a strike partnership that is
:11:36. > :11:38.the best the Premier League has seen for a very long time. They have a
:11:39. > :11:43.real chance. Now they have to believe that they have got something
:11:44. > :11:49.there that might fall through their grasp and slip away. Leave me, that
:11:50. > :11:54.is a really bad feeling to have. -- believe me. The pressure is on all
:11:55. > :11:59.three of you to deliver insightful answers! Liverpool's defence is
:12:00. > :12:05.fragile, but if we treat every game like a cup tie, we might just do it.
:12:06. > :12:10.Seven on the trot, they will have to win another four or five to win the
:12:11. > :12:15.title, that might be tough. Yeah, how long can they keep that going?
:12:16. > :12:19.The way they are playing at the moment, you cannot rule it out,
:12:20. > :12:24.because there is a buzz around the whole club, the whole city, and
:12:25. > :12:27.everybody is really grasping the opportunity to win the league. I
:12:28. > :12:32.would not put them passed it to win it. I still think Man City
:12:33. > :12:36.favourites, rightly so, but this would be a huge win if they beat
:12:37. > :12:40.Spurs to go top of the league, five points clear of City, even though
:12:41. > :12:46.they have got two games in hand. It may come down to the game against
:12:47. > :12:50.City. Talking about their defence, it is better than people make out.
:12:51. > :12:54.The way they play, they scored so many goals, automatically people
:12:55. > :12:57.think that means they cannot defend. A lot of the offenders have been at
:12:58. > :13:05.this year, and when you score five or six, sometimes you have to take
:13:06. > :13:11.chances. -- a lot of defenders. They must be under some pressure, and
:13:12. > :13:15.they? Yeah, for sure, but their presence in this title race is a big
:13:16. > :13:20.part of the reason why it is so compelling, because there is this
:13:21. > :13:27.whole idea of a great club reborn and challenging up there, as we were
:13:28. > :13:32.saying in the office, that there is a feeling that you cannot stop this
:13:33. > :13:37.now. There is so much emotion involved in this title challenge now
:13:38. > :13:40.that, OK, it will bring pressure, but it also brings an incredible
:13:41. > :13:45.momentum with it, and you start, you know, inevitably thinking about
:13:46. > :13:53.folklore type stuff. You start thinking about Shankly saying how
:13:54. > :13:57.the cop can suck in a goal... I am laughing because I have been sent a
:13:58. > :14:02.text, Spurs, please beat Liverpool, the thought of them being champions
:14:03. > :14:11.again would drive me to emigration, not more of Shankly! When United
:14:12. > :14:17.started challenging under Alex Ferguson, everyone talked about
:14:18. > :14:25.busby and we are going to hark back to the great days of Liverpool. This
:14:26. > :14:29.looks like a rebirth. We are talking about expectedations and --
:14:30. > :14:35.expectations and pressure. During the week everything was fine against
:14:36. > :14:41.Sunderland and that last 20 minutes was nervy. That wouldn't be as nervy
:14:42. > :14:46.if they weren't going for a title. .ing the crucial thing for Liverpool
:14:47. > :14:50.is they got through that, albeit by the skin of their teeth. I think
:14:51. > :14:56.now, I'm fascinated today, they can go back to the top of the league and
:14:57. > :14:59.put a marker down. Now people do expect them. Everyone expects
:15:00. > :15:03.Liverpool at Anfield to score and to win. Can they're do that. The last
:15:04. > :15:08.time they were in this, you were in the Liverpool team, about this stage
:15:09. > :15:14.of the season, everyone thought they were genuine contenders, and what
:15:15. > :15:18.was levelled on you was you hadn't been there before. Scowled that
:15:19. > :15:24.happen to -- could that happen to this team. Yes, but we were up
:15:25. > :15:31.against the best team I played against in Premier League history,
:15:32. > :15:36.Arsenal, but as a player you know, the manager can say what he wants,
:15:37. > :15:40.if fans can as well, if you have a chance to win the league, of course
:15:41. > :15:45.you expect to win. If you get a chance in football, you have got to
:15:46. > :15:53.take them. You don't know the next time the team is in that position.
:15:54. > :16:00.Today they expect to win. You saw what happened on Wednesday, there
:16:01. > :16:05.was flares and Anfield Road there were fans there and the coach could
:16:06. > :16:10.hardly get through. These players walk off the coach and they will be
:16:11. > :16:13.two or three inches taller. It can give you confidence and belief and
:16:14. > :16:17.we have not seen any nerves. We have seen 20 minutes against Sunderland.
:16:18. > :16:23.I think we will find out more about the team today. It is a big test.
:16:24. > :16:28.When people talk of history of clubs, when you played for a club,
:16:29. > :16:32.did you feel the history, or is that something that we concentrate on in
:16:33. > :16:36.the media and actually all you're concerned about it your team mates
:16:37. > :16:41.and the here and now? If things go well, it can give you belief and can
:16:42. > :16:47.intimidate opponents. It can be a burden when things don't go well,
:16:48. > :16:51.because you get told how great the teams were. Years ago. And how bad
:16:52. > :16:57.the team is now you're there! When things go well, it is something to
:16:58. > :17:01.give you a lift. Being part of that Liverpool family. But when you play
:17:02. > :17:04.for a big club, that is part of the problem now with see at United, you
:17:05. > :17:08.know they get compared and people have high expectations and I think
:17:09. > :17:11.Liverpool is in that position, because nobody expected it. But the
:17:12. > :17:14.team will feel now, or people within the club, if they don't win the
:17:15. > :17:19.league this season, they will feel after the season they have missed a
:17:20. > :17:23.huge opportunity. With Liverpool the belief is there that they will
:17:24. > :17:26.always score. If you're going for a league, when I was at Cardiff, five
:17:27. > :17:33.minutes before half time, they were rocking, they were 2-1 down and got
:17:34. > :17:37.a goal with Skrtel, but you're thinking they're going to score one,
:17:38. > :17:41.two and that was against a relegation team. Even against
:17:42. > :17:47.Chelsea and Manchester City, they're taking to the field and they know
:17:48. > :17:53.they have a fantastic chance of scoring. I was speaking to Kenny
:17:54. > :17:57.Dalglish on Friday about this, the nerves thing. He said, well, of
:17:58. > :18:01.course they were be nervous. But I was always nervous before games,
:18:02. > :18:06.particularly for derbies, Cup Finals, but he said, I would have
:18:07. > :18:10.been confused if I wasn't nervous. So of course they will be nervous,
:18:11. > :18:14.but it is how you deal with it. Steve is a Liverpool fan and he says
:18:15. > :18:23.it is down to Liverpool, there is confidence and a feel good factor,
:18:24. > :18:29.Suarez is the Player of the Year and Rodgers manager of the season.
:18:30. > :18:34.Tristan says don't write off Spurs, anyone can beat anyone. They're a
:18:35. > :18:40.massive price and I'm having it. Do you think Spurs will go for it? Yes,
:18:41. > :18:44.that has been the way. Over the years Liverpool/Spurs has been a
:18:45. > :18:49.traditional fixture, it is always an open and exciting game. The pressure
:18:50. > :18:55.is off Tottenham slightly. Nobody expects them to be top four now. No
:18:56. > :19:02.one know what is is happening with the manager. They won't be parking
:19:03. > :19:05.the bus. I'm fascinated to see how Liverpool cope with yesterday's
:19:06. > :19:11.results. Everyone thought they were the winners without kicking a ball.
:19:12. > :19:16.Steve says nobody expects Spurs to be top four, I wonder if Everton
:19:17. > :19:19.believe they could be top four. They're seven behind Arsenal with
:19:20. > :19:25.two games in hand and they're still to play Arsenal. Today they're at
:19:26. > :19:32.Fulham. This is the lunch time gim and Jonathan Overend is there. It is
:19:33. > :19:42.an important match affecting top and bottom. We are ill lum nalted by fee
:19:43. > :19:48.mix Magath. He said it is the most important match because it is.
:19:49. > :20:06.Fulham make three changes. Amorebieta is suspended. In come
:20:07. > :20:10.Holtby and Kasami and Del democrat Dembele, the younger one. He has
:20:11. > :20:14.played live minutes against Norwich and seven against West Ham earlier
:20:15. > :20:19.in the season. But today he leads the line for Fulham. As for Everton,
:20:20. > :20:31.they're unchanged from the team that played and won 3-0 at Newcastle.
:20:32. > :20:34.Still no place for Phil jack yell Ca -- Jagielka. Does that discussion
:20:35. > :20:38.about Liverpool and the title equally apply to Everton and going
:20:39. > :20:45.for fourth about pressure and all of a sudden there is a shift in target?
:20:46. > :20:49.I don't think as much. It is not quite the same. Because it is not
:20:50. > :20:54.quite the same prize. And not quite the same weight of history. But to
:20:55. > :20:58.an extent. I think Everton have got a lot of momentum with them. I think
:20:59. > :21:02.Arsenal, that could be a really important point that Arsenal got
:21:03. > :21:09.yesterday. It just, is that seven points? Yes. Although Arsenal have
:21:10. > :21:14.got to go to Goodison, that gives them a buffer. We all, without going
:21:15. > :21:19.back to that, we expected Arsenal to lose, well I thought City might roll
:21:20. > :21:23.them over. So I think Everton have got their work cut out, but they
:21:24. > :21:29.have got momentum. If they were to overtake Arsenal, it would change
:21:30. > :21:37.their summer and the level they're at and the players they might bring
:21:38. > :21:43.in there are transfer rumours, Everton linked with Tom Cleverley.
:21:44. > :21:49.Yes they were in a position in 2005 where they finished fourth, but lost
:21:50. > :21:53.the play-off and the way they have been playing, if they were to finish
:21:54. > :21:57.fourth, they deserve it, because they have been a breath of fresh
:21:58. > :22:03.air. They have changed their style. David Moyes did a good job, but
:22:04. > :22:09.Martin has taken them to a another level. The loan players have made a
:22:10. > :22:12.difference. Gareth Barry has had a huge impact. It would be great to
:22:13. > :22:16.see them in the Champions League, but they need to keep that momentum
:22:17. > :22:21.going. Arsenal have had tough fixtures and they're still ahead of
:22:22. > :22:26.Everton and they have easier fixtures coming. I think Everton
:22:27. > :22:31.have their work cut out. If they can win today it sets up next Sunday
:22:32. > :22:35.perfectly at Goodison and I'm doing that game and looking forward to
:22:36. > :22:40.that. If they can win, I think that puts the pressure back on Arsenal,
:22:41. > :22:46.who haven't got a good record at Goodison and if they beat Arsenal,
:22:47. > :22:54.then all the pressure goes back on Arsenal. Nobody expected Everton,
:22:55. > :23:00.although Roberto Martinez promised Champions League. The pressure is
:23:01. > :23:04.off everton if they keep winning. Do you fear for Fulham, if they win
:23:05. > :23:09.today, they're off the bottom, but he is making changes, it is a
:23:10. > :23:15.subject we have touched on, the new managers have come in, do they know
:23:16. > :23:19.their best team? I do fear for them. Say this without knowing about a
:23:20. > :23:22.player, but if you're throwing a 17-year-old into a situation like
:23:23. > :23:28.this, I am not making a comment about the player, but it shows a
:23:29. > :23:35.level of desperation. And I think they do need to win today. They are
:23:36. > :23:39.in the realm of last chances now and I think it is too late for them. I
:23:40. > :23:44.think they're down. Crystal Palace have Liverpool to come, they have
:23:45. > :23:49.Manchester City to come and Mark in Stoke, I assume he is a Stoke fan,
:23:50. > :23:56.he says Tony Pulis is now a darling of the media, now he is at a London
:23:57. > :24:01.club, when he was at Stoke, he was slaughtered. The media are
:24:02. > :24:09.hypocrites. We're based in Salford not London. But is that it fair? Or
:24:10. > :24:16.are we lauding the job Pulis has done given his starting point? You
:24:17. > :24:20.have to give him credit. At Stoke he took them to that next level at
:24:21. > :24:24.Crystal Palace he was five points off the bottom. If he were to keep
:24:25. > :24:29.them up, he must be in the running, I know Brendan Rodgers will probably
:24:30. > :24:32.win manager of the year, but he must be in the running. That job is
:24:33. > :24:37.outstanding to beat Chelsea and they have a cushion now. When you come to
:24:38. > :24:40.the end of the season, the Fulhams and Sunderlands and Cardiffs may get
:24:41. > :24:45.to a position where they need to win and we know how hard it is to win at
:24:46. > :24:50.the best of time and the pressure will mount. Palace are in a great
:24:51. > :24:57.position. It would be great if it was between Brendan Rodgers and Tony
:24:58. > :25:05.pewle lis for - Pulis for manager of year. It is the first time since
:25:06. > :25:10.1981 a team have gone from eventh to first. Even thought Crystal Palace
:25:11. > :25:18.were down and nobody wanted the job. I don't think Tony Pulis wanted the
:25:19. > :25:22.job. They're so organised and they have to buy into that. He made that
:25:23. > :25:28.big thing he said listen, there is only so much organising you can do,
:25:29. > :25:31.the players have got to buy into it. Joe Ward seemed to typify that,
:25:32. > :25:38.there was a clearing tackle on Schurrle and a second half he went
:25:39. > :25:45.on a Maradona like dribble. Yes and I think to go back to the point, I
:25:46. > :25:49.think if Tony Pulis had taken over at Stoke when they were bottom, we
:25:50. > :25:57.would be talking the same. It is not a London bias, but admiration for
:25:58. > :26:00.the job he has done. You were at the Hawthorns yesterday, that final five
:26:01. > :26:07.minutes of injury time, could define the season for Cardiff and West
:26:08. > :26:12.Brom? For a neutral, it was extraordinary. It was an
:26:13. > :26:18.unbelievable game and shows both teams' season. Yes, when West Brom
:26:19. > :26:22.scored, arguably Cardiff were in the Championship and West Brom were
:26:23. > :26:27.probably safe and then 60 seconds later they had a chance to make it
:26:28. > :26:33.four and then Cardiff get an equaliser. It felt like a victory.
:26:34. > :26:41.Talking to palace, they have got Palace next and that is a huge game.
:26:42. > :26:47.They showed terrific character. It is more cadging -- damaging for West
:26:48. > :26:52.Brom. You talk about putting a gap between yourself and the bottom. If
:26:53. > :27:01.they had made it safe. He went on social media and I apologised --
:27:02. > :27:06.apologised. It is a big blow to concede in the 96th minute. I think
:27:07. > :27:11.Cardiff are the most likely out of the bottom three to get out of it.
:27:12. > :27:16.Rather than Sunderland. I think so. Sunderland can't score goals. Car
:27:17. > :27:20.give v difference -- Cardiff have got a goal in them and Sunderland
:27:21. > :27:24.haven't. It is important to keep a clean sheet. But to win you need to
:27:25. > :27:30.score. This is why I think Sunderland will struggle. So Fulham
:27:31. > :27:35.and Cardiff are the most likely to get out. It is the belief they get
:27:36. > :27:39.from it. They were celebrating like a victory. Cardiff have that
:27:40. > :27:44.injection of belief if they can take it on. After the capital one cup, I
:27:45. > :27:50.thought Sunderland would be all right. But they haven't had a bounce
:27:51. > :27:58.from that. And they have got a shocking ru in. They have Tottenham,
:27:59. > :28:05.Chelsea and Manchester City. From a fans' point of view, Pepe Mele after
:28:06. > :28:10.Cardiff equalised smiled and shock Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hand. As a West
:28:11. > :28:13.Brom fan I might be annoyed. It is difficult to put yourself in that
:28:14. > :28:17.position. As a neutral, I think the guy has a lot of class and I would
:28:18. > :28:21.have said that before yesterday. I thought it was classy what he did
:28:22. > :28:24.with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. I saw him at a press conference when they
:28:25. > :28:30.played Manchester United. I think he has a lot of class. As a guy, I fear
:28:31. > :28:35.for West Brom after that result. But I think it was an odd appointment.
:28:36. > :28:40.We have got to end there, we are out of time. In the Edinburgh Derby
:28:41. > :28:45.Heart lead Hibs by a goal to nil. Thank you for your company. So
:28:46. > :28:50.Liverpool against Spurs on five live this afternoon from 4 o'clock,
:28:51. > :28:55.Sunderland against West Ham tomorrow from eight and Match of the Day 2
:28:56. > :28:56.tonight. Thank you for watching and listening. We will see you next
:28:57. > :29:00.week.
