:00:07. > :00:17.COMMENTATOR: It will be time for these two teams to settle it.
:00:18. > :00:31.Touchdown! Launching downfield, going deep. One-man wrecking crew!
:00:32. > :00:35.Is unbelievable! Denver has got it! The Denver Broncos are world
:00:36. > :00:38.champions! Good afternoon and welcome to the first of three
:00:39. > :00:42.international series games being played in London this season. Today
:00:43. > :00:46.we see the Indianapolis Colts playing the Jacksonville Jaguars.
:00:47. > :00:53.The Colts playing their debut in this series. The Jaguars are wily
:00:54. > :00:56.old veterans these days. The trouble is, the season hasn't exactly
:00:57. > :00:58.started according to plan, which means they have to summon up some of
:00:59. > :01:13.that Wembley magic. We are the Jacksonville Jaguars.
:01:14. > :01:25.London is our second home. Wembley is our fortress now. It is a big
:01:26. > :01:36.six! It is a touchdown! It's that easy, man! We have the speed and the
:01:37. > :01:45.power. Touchdown by Yeldon! Robinson with a brilliant catch! With the
:01:46. > :01:50.fans behind us... There's nothing we cannot achieve.
:01:51. > :01:56.We are the Jacksonville Jaguars. STUDIO
:01:57. > :01:59.Some very familiar faces on the Jacksonville Jaguars team, this game
:02:00. > :02:04.marking the fourth consecutive season they played at Wembley.
:02:05. > :02:09.Speaking of familiar faces, the two-time Super Bowl winner is
:02:10. > :02:12.alongside me. Mike, we're not even a quarter of the way into the season
:02:13. > :02:17.yet but it is a must win game for the Jags? It really is because they
:02:18. > :02:20.are 0- three and a last two years teams have come into Wembley and
:02:21. > :02:25.lost and had their coaches fired. Because it's a great time to get rid
:02:26. > :02:33.of a coach. You're starting with the fun stuff! Yes. But it is a great
:02:34. > :02:39.time to fire a coach and get the new guy in. If they lose they will go 0-
:02:40. > :02:47.four. Even in their division, which is not a strong one, they will have
:02:48. > :02:50.an uphill climb. It is a fairly weak division, isn't it? The Colts are
:02:51. > :02:54.going to look at this and think if they get a win, it is very much
:02:55. > :03:02.their division, right? Absolutely. Like Mike alluded to earlier, it is
:03:03. > :03:06.a fairly weak division. Whoever wins this will have an advantage. Who is
:03:07. > :03:11.your money on to win the division? The Colts still, I think, but it's
:03:12. > :03:14.the same with this game. You say, I did the Colts game last week and
:03:15. > :03:18.they can close out games and they ought to win this, but if
:03:19. > :03:22.Jacksonville ever had a chance to win, with things are breaking well
:03:23. > :03:26.for them, this would be the game. I'm going to have to say Houston.
:03:27. > :03:31.Even without J.J. Watt, the coach still has some great defense and
:03:32. > :03:34.some outstanding football players there. Brock Osweiler has not really
:03:35. > :03:37.lived up to the contract yet but I think he will have a great season.
:03:38. > :03:42.I'm going to disagree with you there. You will get a lot of that!
:03:43. > :03:50.I'm sure we will. Weak four of the NFL started on Sunday night as the
:03:51. > :03:56.Miami Dolphins travelled to Cincinnati to face the Bengals. Adam
:03:57. > :04:00.Gase, the youngest coach in the league, going against the most
:04:01. > :04:06.tenured coach. What is his game plan? To get them off early. Let's
:04:07. > :04:12.see if they can do it. And the Bengals run three on the
:04:13. > :04:24.game's first possession. Dropped back as Ryan Tannehill goes
:04:25. > :04:30.long and he has found Stills, who is going to take it for the touchdown!
:04:31. > :04:35.Here he comes down the field. Watch this move. Looks across and then
:04:36. > :04:43.just breaks the route. This was not designed. That was just a good read.
:04:44. > :04:52.There is the play action fake. Dolton steps away from the pressure
:04:53. > :04:56.and he goes deep. Green is there. Oh! He caught it! This is what
:04:57. > :05:03.happens when you have guys in this league. Just throw it up and give it
:05:04. > :05:11.a chance. He dodges the tackle and is in for the touchdown! AJ Green,
:05:12. > :05:14.they throw so many short passes to him and this is one. -- this is why.
:05:15. > :05:23.Second and eighth. Again by Green. We approach the two-minute mark.
:05:24. > :05:40.Tannahill... Recovered. Nugent's kick is good. Three points.
:05:41. > :05:49.First and ten. Down the field they go. It is the basket catch! He's
:05:50. > :05:55.already had one from 22. Two from longer range, and the chip shop is
:05:56. > :05:57.good. Again here they come and this time for the first time they get to
:05:58. > :06:17.Dolton. Dobbie Bobby McCain. What a job by Andy
:06:18. > :06:25.Dalton. Great job. 3rd down. Ryan Tannehill's pass, on the mark. Look
:06:26. > :06:42.at Landry! All the way out to the 35. Ryan Tannehill, intercepted!
:06:43. > :06:46.That is Chris Lewis-Harris. The total plays were not ideal as far as
:06:47. > :06:50.we were doing, we busted one protection. Ryan Paris to step up on
:06:51. > :06:56.the fumble. It's just everybody just taking their turn. -- Ryan Paris to
:06:57. > :07:00.step up. I don't think it really mattered who was out there right
:07:01. > :07:03.now. We didn't do anything really well.
:07:04. > :07:10.It was properly one of the worst performances I've seen from our
:07:11. > :07:12.offense in a long time. We've got to score touchdowns when we get down
:07:13. > :07:17.there, we can't keep kicking field goals. We will look at the Tate and
:07:18. > :07:24.look at what we were doing and try to find a way to score touchdowns
:07:25. > :07:27.rather than going for three points. It's obviously a big emphasis
:07:28. > :07:33.because we haven't been very good in the red zone. The Dolphins do not
:07:34. > :07:48.like a handicap at the moment. Today's game is the first in the
:07:49. > :07:56.NFL, America waking up to Wembley, of course. The Texans host the
:07:57. > :08:00.Titans. Current NFC champs, Carolina, a mixed start to the
:08:01. > :08:06.season, they travelled to Atlanta. Denver, a good start to the season
:08:07. > :08:11.for them. Dallas going well too but I wonder if that could be a bit of a
:08:12. > :08:14.trap against San Francisco. Monday Night Football is a biggie as well,
:08:15. > :08:21.the New York Giants against the Minnesota Vikings. The Giants have
:08:22. > :08:26.had a fantastic to this -- start to the season, unbeaten. Let's talk
:08:27. > :08:33.about the 3-0 teams. We start with the Philadelphia Eagles and their
:08:34. > :08:36.rookie quarterback. A good draft pick and someone who was properly
:08:37. > :08:47.better a long-term prospect than the guy who went ahead of him, Jared
:08:48. > :08:51.Goff, to the 49ers. The Eagles are really playing well. Give the coach
:08:52. > :08:57.a lot of credit, Doug Petersen. His offense looks like the one he used
:08:58. > :09:00.to run at Kansas City last year, makes it easy for the quarterback.
:09:01. > :09:05.More importantly, they gave the Pittsburgh Steelers three points
:09:06. > :09:08.last week. Their defensive coordinator, Jim Schwartz, the
:09:09. > :09:11.personnel they had was far better suited to the defense they're
:09:12. > :09:15.running now than the defense they have been running for the last
:09:16. > :09:22.three-year is. Almost instantaneous and they are a contender right now.
:09:23. > :09:25.They certainly are. The Eagles traded Sam Bradford to the Vikings
:09:26. > :09:29.and a lot of people thought the Vikings gave up a bit too much for
:09:30. > :09:33.him but it has turned out pretty good so far? Absolutely, he has
:09:34. > :09:37.looked good. The thing about Sam Bradford is that he is a good
:09:38. > :09:40.quarterback when helped. -- when healthy. That's what he hasn't been
:09:41. > :09:46.given credit for, he's not been able to stay on the field. They just
:09:47. > :09:51.needed a quarterback not to come in and do anything special but enough
:09:52. > :09:56.to get them by. The Broncos atone for that last season. Fantastic
:09:57. > :10:01.defense... Minnesota's defense is not as good but it is a relief good
:10:02. > :10:05.one. Defense wins championships. I wouldn't expect you to say anything
:10:06. > :10:10.different! Mike, staying on the quarterback theme, I think the
:10:11. > :10:12.Patriots, of all the 3-0 teams, they are perhaps clearly the strongest so
:10:13. > :10:16.far and they have done it without Tom Brady. Yes, and they did it
:10:17. > :10:30.without Jimmy Garoppolo. Those guys are hurt right now. They
:10:31. > :10:35.game plan so well. Everyone wonders how the Patriots succeed. They know
:10:36. > :10:39.what they've got and they make a game plan that takes the defense out
:10:40. > :10:44.of the game as much as they can and, secondly, plays to the strength of
:10:45. > :10:45.the players they have two maximise their strengths and hide their
:10:46. > :10:58.weaknesses. Brexit is rookie quarterback. -- Brissett. He
:10:59. > :11:02.has acquitted himself well. No doubt about that and I will say it again,
:11:03. > :11:06.Bill Belichick is the greatest coach we've ever seen in the NFL. He takes
:11:07. > :11:11.whatever player he has and he gets the most out of them. Bill Belichick
:11:12. > :11:16.knew about this guy, Brissett. He made the whole offense around him in
:11:17. > :11:20.three or four days and played well. The Ravens are 3-0 as well but
:11:21. > :11:23.rather cruelly some people are suggesting they might be the worst
:11:24. > :11:27.3-0 team of all-time! They're certainly the worst we've seen a
:11:28. > :11:31.while. They probably shouldn't have won the game against Jacksonville
:11:32. > :11:38.last week but the Jags tried harder not to win! The one thing they are
:11:39. > :11:44.doing is playing good defense. You can still get a good few plays with
:11:45. > :11:49.special teams and that is working for them. The defense keep playing
:11:50. > :11:58.pretty solid defense. That is the essence of their game.
:11:59. > :12:11.The criticism of the Ravens... You wouldn't say that it Terrell Suggs's
:12:12. > :12:15.face! They are good team and winning Bese close games late on in the
:12:16. > :12:21.game. I unbeaten team in the NFC South. -- the AFC South. The
:12:22. > :12:27.division we are interested in today. Not the best start for either. If
:12:28. > :12:34.the Colts win today, they will go to 500 and have a reasonable is strong
:12:35. > :12:39.chance of picking on from there. -- kicking on. Since the International
:12:40. > :12:42.series in London began back in 2007, teams have made the transatlantic
:12:43. > :12:48.trip a bit differently. This time both teams arrived relatively late
:12:49. > :12:50.on Friday, but that was still enough time for Osi to get in amongst the
:12:51. > :13:00.Jaguars on their media day. If I were coach Bradley, the last
:13:01. > :13:07.thing I would say is I got -- as I got off the plane to my team is just
:13:08. > :13:12.breathe it in, there is something in the London air that the Jacksonville
:13:13. > :13:17.Jaguars just love. Believe! Believe! We believe!
:13:18. > :13:29.Following each of their last three London matches, the Jags have
:13:30. > :13:36.returned to the US 18 reborn. -- as a team reborn. Last year, they came
:13:37. > :13:38.into the game 1-5. But an unbelievable win set them up for the
:13:39. > :13:43.remainder of the season. Jacksonville touchdown! And this is
:13:44. > :13:57.the guy that made the play that won the game. He's got his receiver! It
:13:58. > :13:59.is a touchdown! Allen Hurns! Allen, you did? A bit of Jet like, a little
:14:00. > :14:05.bit! Last year you had an incredible
:14:06. > :14:13.game, Jacksonville played very well. Are you looking forward to the game
:14:14. > :14:16.here on Sunday? Yeah, for sure. Our first two games, we didn't start out
:14:17. > :14:23.fast. We want to show people who we are. We got a chance tonight to show
:14:24. > :14:28.who we are in front of the world! Robinson is one of the best young
:14:29. > :14:34.receivers in football. Tell us how it feels to have a guy who is that
:14:35. > :14:40.talented? I feel like coming on tour, you can't just take away one
:14:41. > :14:44.of us, we could take off. We comes at each other very well. We are
:14:45. > :14:48.always pushing each other. As good as you both are, I think everyone
:14:49. > :14:53.knows that you're only as good as your quarterback. There is a sense
:14:54. > :14:57.around the league that Blake Bortles has regressed a bit this year? I
:14:58. > :15:07.wouldn't say so. Last year he was hit the most for a quarterback. We
:15:08. > :15:10.just haven't got any rhythm. -- in a rhythm. If you want to be a good
:15:11. > :15:16.football team to meet you got to play consistently good football. Gus
:15:17. > :15:20.Bradley, I know Gus, wonderful man, outstanding coach. This chapter, if
:15:21. > :15:24.things don't go well over the next couple of days...
:15:25. > :15:32.I feel like this week is very key. Everybody has respect but the bottom
:15:33. > :15:36.line is you have to win. Gus Bradley is known as a player 's coach. Do
:15:37. > :15:44.you feel the extra pressure on incentive to play for him? For sure.
:15:45. > :15:47.Everybody can relate to him. Hopefully we have to protect him.
:15:48. > :15:51.Over the last couple of years you have used coming out here as a
:15:52. > :15:56.springboard for success later in the season. Are you hoping this year
:15:57. > :16:05.will be the same? The shore. This is the way to get started. By now we
:16:06. > :16:09.can easily be 2-1. But after this game hopefully the rest will take
:16:10. > :16:15.care of itself. STUDIO: The Jaguars arriving at Wembley earlier on. One
:16:16. > :16:19.of the things I noticed on the way in to the stadium, the Jags have
:16:20. > :16:24.been coming here a few times but more the Jaguars jerseys than I have
:16:25. > :16:28.ever seen before. They made the commitment to become the London
:16:29. > :16:34.team, come here to a couple more years as well. I think the fans are
:16:35. > :16:40.really embracing them. A lot of Bortles and a lot of Robinson
:16:41. > :16:49.jerseys. Blake Bortles the quarterback, difficult season so
:16:50. > :16:56.far. He has five picks, mixed bag. Here is regressing, isn't it? Not as
:16:57. > :17:00.much regression as inconsistency. Jacksonville plays from behind a
:17:01. > :17:05.lot. People know they are going to throw. That makes it tough he
:17:06. > :17:10.basically lacks the accuracy to play in and out. He is good when things
:17:11. > :17:15.break down but as you see right there he will try to force balls in.
:17:16. > :17:18.He does that very relaxed. Sometimes he will be standing there and he
:17:19. > :17:28.basically sometimes as too much faith. He has guys like Robinson who
:17:29. > :17:35.can go up and get balls. You cannot assume the ball will be gone. Credit
:17:36. > :17:38.to him for taking it on the chin. I think it is a lot on me not
:17:39. > :17:45.executing them, that is what you want from your quarterback. He the
:17:46. > :17:53.leader, everything. He is the player where wins and losses gets tracked.
:17:54. > :17:59.He has Distin out there as a man lick look at his key weapons, Julius
:18:00. > :18:05.Thomas out that his star wide receivers operate, Allen Robinson,
:18:06. > :18:12.what a season last year. 1400 yards. Slower start to the season but last
:18:13. > :18:16.week back in the groove. Teams are keen on him a bit, his real
:18:17. > :18:20.strength, trying to help out with some defensive help. His real
:18:21. > :18:26.strength is going for the ball. He can make himself available. He has
:18:27. > :18:30.moves and great hands and he is a big presence. I did a lot of his
:18:31. > :18:34.college games and he wasn't served very well by his quarterbacks. But
:18:35. > :18:41.last year he really made a big plays. And he made Bortles Libbard.
:18:42. > :18:49.He didn't go well in the draft, he will isn't that great. Robinson and
:18:50. > :18:56.Holmes 24 touchdowns last year and only two so far for Robinson and
:18:57. > :19:03.Allen Hurns, ten touchdowns last season. As we saw, the court the
:19:04. > :19:10.game winner at Wembley for the Jags. That Ricky caught. I think they hope
:19:11. > :19:13.he can be the hero again. Big strong physical farce, he has the goal is
:19:14. > :19:19.to be a good receiver in the league. -- force. What do you make of him
:19:20. > :19:25.chatting to him? Talking to players they will open up a little bit more?
:19:26. > :19:30.I like him, smart and intelligent, and he looks just like my younger
:19:31. > :19:35.brother, we had a chat about that. I enjoyed talking to him and I wish
:19:36. > :19:40.him lots of success. Have defenses got a bit wiser to them? That is
:19:41. > :19:45.where Julius Thomas should step in and where not having him really
:19:46. > :19:51.hurts. When you have those Joo you automatically opening up the
:19:52. > :19:56.defense. That is where somebody as fast as Thomas can really be a
:19:57. > :20:02.weapon. They haven't really been able to take advantage. It would be
:20:03. > :20:08.excellent to have him as you said. If they get their running game going
:20:09. > :20:12.it would help but not so far this season. TJ Yeldon their lead running
:20:13. > :20:18.back but not really happening for him. They are not really going there
:20:19. > :20:26.at the moment. 165 yards this season. That has to improve but the
:20:27. > :20:30.thing about the running back position, it is about the offensive
:20:31. > :20:34.line. The offensive line for the Jaguars is not playing well, they
:20:35. > :20:36.are not giving Bush and that is why the Jaguars are struggling to run
:20:37. > :20:42.the football. 'S they have concentrated on getting better pass
:20:43. > :20:48.blocking, trying to build that way. And the running game suffers. The
:20:49. > :20:53.other thing they don't do is throw to the running backs. It does not
:20:54. > :20:56.seem to factor with them. That is something that tends to open the
:20:57. > :21:02.defense out and once you start throwing to them, it opens up a
:21:03. > :21:06.running game a little bit more. I expect more from Yeldon today. The
:21:07. > :21:11.Colts also arrived on Friday, for the first time in London. Caroline
:21:12. > :21:18.Barker spent some time with their running back, Frank Gore.
:21:19. > :21:32.Tough team, we are a great team. We play hard. We want to win. We play
:21:33. > :21:35.to win every Sunday. I should welcome you to London that not all
:21:36. > :21:39.commute because you have been here before. I came here twice, I had a
:21:40. > :21:47.great time. Both times I have been here we won. I think I will be good
:21:48. > :21:53.like! Gore carries in for the touchdown. You must know about the
:21:54. > :21:59.Colts's rushing record, creeping up on their list. People tell me about
:22:00. > :22:03.that but I think about that when my career is over or the season is
:22:04. > :22:08.over. We'll see where I end up. I take it one day at a time and one
:22:09. > :22:13.week at a time. I'm not buying it, edged James this weekend, cops
:22:14. > :22:17.legend, you could go past him. That would be brilliant, he has been
:22:18. > :22:21.lamentable of mine, it would be great but right now I want to come
:22:22. > :22:28.out and this Sunday try my best and have a good game. Frank Gore into
:22:29. > :22:35.the end zone, touchdown. For the Colts fans, 2007 they last had
:22:36. > :22:43.someone get 1000 yards. That is a target. Every running back has a
:22:44. > :22:52.target. But I came short last year, and since I have been in the NFL, I
:22:53. > :22:55.have hit 1000 yards and I want to keep that going. Do you look around
:22:56. > :22:59.this team and think there is a team that can take us to the Super Bowl?
:23:00. > :23:07.We have a shot. But we are still learning. Bunch of great young
:23:08. > :23:12.talent upfront. I think once we keep growing and gets better each week
:23:13. > :23:16.and learning how not to make mistakes that hurt our team then I
:23:17. > :23:24.think we have a good shot. You are still learning at 33, not to say you
:23:25. > :23:28.are old! When you play this game you are always learning. When you feel
:23:29. > :23:31.like you cannot learn any more then you should quit. I'm still learning
:23:32. > :23:37.and having fun and I still feel like a kid. I am blessed to be playing.
:23:38. > :23:42.My biggest thing before I leave is I do want to get a chance to go get
:23:43. > :23:51.that trophy can, try to get the trophy again. With this thing? I'm
:23:52. > :23:59.here, why not? Pick -- with this team? The late win last week against
:24:00. > :24:02.San Diego save them from the abyss at their head coach at it and you
:24:03. > :24:11.look at their schedule coming up, if they win today they go to .500. That
:24:12. > :24:16.has the advantage of a weak division. If you like the label
:24:17. > :24:21.professional and the need Frank Gore, there is nothing he cannot do
:24:22. > :24:27.as a running back. Block, receive, carry the ball 20 or 30 times. He
:24:28. > :24:33.does the job. Today if he gets that 88 yards he not only passes edged
:24:34. > :24:38.James but he passes Marshall flock, Jim Brown, Marcus Allen. The jumps
:24:39. > :24:54.up five places. All other half of his yards came
:24:55. > :24:57.last week. This could be a big chance to establish the running
:24:58. > :25:01.game. They have never been known as a running team for a long period and
:25:02. > :25:05.now they are built around Andrew Luck, and they're receiving corps.
:25:06. > :25:10.They are not a physical football team. They have some physical
:25:11. > :25:17.players on the defensive side of the ball but offensively not at all. It
:25:18. > :25:20.is aerial passing attack. We just saw Frank Gore basically walking the
:25:21. > :25:25.tightrope and then having the presence of mind to launch into the
:25:26. > :25:30.pylon. There are not many backs who can do that. Not just the physical
:25:31. > :25:34.thing, it is the presence of mind to be to realise you are falling out of
:25:35. > :25:40.bounds but you could still get the touchdown. Is he a future Hall of
:25:41. > :25:47.Famer? I think so but it is so hard to tell nowadays because so many
:25:48. > :25:50.players are coming through. It will be very tough especially if you does
:25:51. > :25:53.not win the championship. Lots of those who have those stats but they
:25:54. > :25:59.don't have the championship then they don't get in. He will have such
:26:00. > :26:03.great the curating stats, he came out of college with a knee problem.
:26:04. > :26:15.He will have such great stats. He will be in the top six or seven of
:26:16. > :26:22.all time. That is not London Fog, Robin Thicke has just finished his
:26:23. > :26:28.performance. It could be Thicke fog. Loving your work. Andrew Luck spent
:26:29. > :26:33.his formative years in Europe, his dad of course in NFL Europe. No
:26:34. > :26:41.doubting his talent that he was injured a lot last season and yet to
:26:42. > :26:47.get back to his best. Injury plays a big part of that. The same with
:26:48. > :26:55.Indianapolis. This series of line problems over the past three games.
:26:56. > :26:58.Luck will stand in against the rush. Once you get hit and you start
:26:59. > :27:08.missing time then you start considering the problem possibility.
:27:09. > :27:11.He has TY Hilton from the battlefield, you talk about the
:27:12. > :27:17.triplets, quarterback runner and receiver, they may be as good as any
:27:18. > :27:21.triplet in the league. He was paid in the summer, six years, 140
:27:22. > :27:26.million. Is he the man to take the sting to the promised land? No
:27:27. > :27:30.doubt. His body of work speaks for itself. Last year he didn't play
:27:31. > :27:37.quite as well as everybody would have helped the injuries played a
:27:38. > :27:41.big part in that. This is an outstanding football player and one
:27:42. > :27:48.of the best quarterbacks in the league. Lacerated kidney. Not one of
:27:49. > :27:53.those injuries you can play through. I watched him at the London monarchs
:27:54. > :27:57.when he was ten years old. On the sidelines. This week it was
:27:58. > :28:02.announced Lady Gago will be playing the Super Bowl half-time show this
:28:03. > :28:06.season. Always an artist here at the International series, and Robin .500
:28:07. > :29:29.is on stage right now. Enjoying that. Looking it up. The
:29:30. > :29:33.Grammys he was nominated for. Let's talk about kickers, they don't get
:29:34. > :29:39.enough love. One of the all-time greats, Vinatieri, third on the
:29:40. > :29:45.all-time list, flying the flag for position that doesn't get enough
:29:46. > :29:51.credit. In 1995 he was both kicking and hunting for the Amsterdam
:29:52. > :29:58.admirals. I would argue he is better now than he was in his prime at the
:29:59. > :30:07.Patriots. He is the nicest guy in the world. So level-headed. Telling
:30:08. > :30:11.me about his great uncle who played in general Custer's van. Because he
:30:12. > :30:15.was a musician he did not go to Little big on. He is from South
:30:16. > :30:23.Dakota and he went to college there. -- Little bighorn.
:30:24. > :30:30.Nickname is Automatic. Pretty good and inane to have if you're a
:30:31. > :30:36.kicker! Now, a lot of you June in every time. Time out, drop and give
:30:37. > :30:40.me 20, whatever makes you tick. But for all you new Bese watching who
:30:41. > :30:42.need some clarification on the basic rules, we put something together for
:30:43. > :30:50.you to bring you up to speed. American football is a game played
:30:51. > :30:55.on a 100 yard field by two teams of 11 players. In the NFL, squads of 53
:30:56. > :30:59.players make up each side's offensive lineman defensive end
:31:00. > :31:03.special teams units that take turns on the field. The aim of the game is
:31:04. > :31:09.to move the ball into the opponent's end zone to score a touchdown, and
:31:10. > :31:17.an extra point. This is achieved by moving the ball through the field in
:31:18. > :31:23.a series of plays cold downs. -- plays called downs. They can either
:31:24. > :31:27.do this by throwing the ball to a receiver or buy a rushing back
:31:28. > :31:30.running the ball along the ground. The offense must move the ball at
:31:31. > :31:36.least ten yards down through every four plays to keep possession of the
:31:37. > :31:44.ball and earn themselves another four downs. If the defense prevent
:31:45. > :31:53.them from doing so, possession of the ball moves to the opposition.
:31:54. > :31:59.They can attempt to kick through the upright posts. After four quarters
:32:00. > :32:02.of play, the team with the most points wins the game.
:32:03. > :32:06.STUDIO If you would like to get in touch
:32:07. > :32:12.with us, Newby or veteran, we would love to hear from you. Use the
:32:13. > :32:18.hashtag BBC NFL. You're going to be hearing the action called by the US
:32:19. > :32:22.commentary team including the former quarterback Trent Green. Caroline
:32:23. > :32:27.caught up with him earlier on. So, Trent, we know you like -- we like
:32:28. > :32:31.to focus on the quarterbacks, your old gig. But it has been a tale of
:32:32. > :32:35.two quarterbacks and one of them has to kick into gear at some point?
:32:36. > :32:39.They are both very productive quarterbacks. They put up a lot of
:32:40. > :32:43.touchdowns through the course of their career. Andrew Luck was
:32:44. > :32:48.injured last year and missed nine games. He is looking to get back on
:32:49. > :32:54.track. And Blake Bortles last season, over 4400 yards passing and
:32:55. > :32:58.35 touchdowns. These are two guys who can really carry the load for
:32:59. > :33:02.their offenses and they are looking to get a contract today. As Blake
:33:03. > :33:07.perhaps been feeling the pressure a bit more? You know, I think so. We
:33:08. > :33:10.had a chance to talk to the coaches and the team and they are frustrated
:33:11. > :33:14.with the way things are going. Coming into the season they had high
:33:15. > :33:18.expectations for how the season was going to go and of course they have
:33:19. > :33:23.had two really tough losses in the fourth quarter. I think there is a
:33:24. > :33:27.bit of that. Sometimes as a quarterback you can press, you can
:33:28. > :33:34.try too hard and try and make the plays too much as opposed to the
:33:35. > :33:38.guys around you supporting you and get it down. I think that is a
:33:39. > :33:42.factor. That is the intelligence Andrew Luck has got, to change
:33:43. > :33:45.things up. It's a big part of his game. Going to Stanford University,
:33:46. > :33:50.everyone talks about the mental aspect of the game with him but he's
:33:51. > :33:53.very smart in terms of recognising the defense getting the offense into
:33:54. > :33:59.the right play with the protection schemes, with the run game. So
:34:00. > :34:05.that's a pretty good phase for him in terms of understanding what the
:34:06. > :34:09.defense is doing. Indianapolis Colts are the road team today, so they get
:34:10. > :34:12.the opportunity to take to the Wembley turf first. Each team has
:34:13. > :34:15.their own unique way of making an entrance. Let's find out how the
:34:16. > :34:47.Colts do it. #. A list of demands
:34:48. > :34:55.# Written on the palm of my hand # Gotze hand them out
:34:56. > :35:00.# Hand them out #. A list of demands
:35:01. > :35:08.# Written on the palm of my hand # .Co sees somebody
:35:09. > :35:11.# Try and free somebody # I've got a list of demands
:35:12. > :35:28.# Written on the palm of my hand. We are all set to welcome the
:35:29. > :35:57.Indianapolis Colts to the field. The Colts defense hit by injury and
:35:58. > :36:03.suspension quite a lot this season, but some key players back today.
:36:04. > :36:08.What makes it big is Vontae Davis, the quarterback, probably the
:36:09. > :36:13.biggest one back because Butler is still out. He had a horrible
:36:14. > :36:18.hamstring injury. Next up to take the field at Wembley, the home team.
:36:19. > :36:21.They are becoming a staple of the international series.
:36:22. > :36:52.-- let's meet the Jacksonville Jaguars.
:36:53. > :37:09.Osi, we were chatting earlier this week and you said on game day you
:37:10. > :37:16.never ate! No, I hungry... But was that quite unusual? Yes, most
:37:17. > :37:19.players need the fuel and energy but... I thought I would cry when
:37:20. > :37:24.they used to give us steak and eggs in the morning and then you could
:37:25. > :37:32.feel it coming back whenever someone hits you! Here they come. Osi, what
:37:33. > :37:40.is going to the players's minds right about now? Just trying to
:37:41. > :37:43.focus. They will be anxious to get out there but the minute they hit
:37:44. > :37:56.somebody, it is all out of the window. You just want the whistle to
:37:57. > :38:00.blow and get it over with. In a 16 game seizing every single day
:38:01. > :38:05.matters. If you start the season at 0- three, it is hard enough to make
:38:06. > :38:08.the playoffs, but you go to 0- four and it is thirdly impossible.
:38:09. > :38:13.History doesn't like in that respect. The ink in a weak division
:38:14. > :38:20.helps. But it also sends a signal about what kind of team you are.
:38:21. > :38:23.It's possible they turn things around completely and I think
:38:24. > :38:27.Jacksonville is in a good position to do that, if their defense steps
:38:28. > :38:30.up in this game. They've got the defense now that they've been trying
:38:31. > :38:35.to build the four years. The pieces are there. The question is, can Gus
:38:36. > :38:42.Bradley get the pieces to function in the way they are supposed to?
:38:43. > :38:46.There's talk about some. Ramsey is turning a few heads? Very good young
:38:47. > :38:49.quarterback. He got into a war of words with Steve Smith. He was
:38:50. > :38:55.talking smack. He went out there and got the job done. As a veteran, what
:38:56. > :39:00.do you make, what do the veterans in the Jaguars team make of him calling
:39:01. > :39:07.out Steve Smith? They're not going to like that at all. You have to pay
:39:08. > :39:11.your dues. You can't go out there and talk trash about a guy like
:39:12. > :39:22.Steve Smith who has done it for so long.
:39:23. > :39:32.They also have a guy called Myles Jack who is their second pick. Both
:39:33. > :39:36.guys have injury concerns but they both get this kind of defense review
:39:37. > :39:48.well. Jack is going to get a start the day because of injury. They need
:39:49. > :39:51.speed, they need coverage. If you think Gus Bradley and the Seattle
:39:52. > :39:55.Seahawks, he's trying to run a defense and they play mostly in 80
:39:56. > :39:59.zone, three guys across the zone. To do that you have to have a guy in
:40:00. > :40:03.the middle who can cover and be smart enough to anticipate. It is
:40:04. > :40:09.Thomas in Seattle, he's the best. But now you have a guy who is like a
:40:10. > :40:21.smaller version of that, a smaller version. You talk about the Jaguars
:40:22. > :40:25.gambling but the front office say they have to gamble in that position
:40:26. > :40:29.right now? But if you have two gamble, why would you not gamble
:40:30. > :40:34.with a guy like Myles Jack? He's one of the top three or four players in
:40:35. > :40:38.the draft, had an injury, so he went in the second round. Who knows what
:40:39. > :40:43.his potential can be? If his knee holds up, he can be an outstanding
:40:44. > :40:48.player. They've been struggling to find out exactly how to use him is
:40:49. > :40:52.over? Yes, I think eventually he becomes the new linebacker for them.
:40:53. > :41:00.He can be like Bobby Wagner at Seattle. He will stay in the middle.
:41:01. > :41:11.Welcome to the first international game of the 2016 season.
:41:12. > :41:14.Indianapolis is the visiting team. The NFL shield is tails.
:41:15. > :41:22.Indianapolis, what is your call? Heads. The call is heads. It is
:41:23. > :41:27.tales. Jacksonville have won the toss. Indianapolis will receive,
:41:28. > :41:32.which Wadey want to kick? This direction? Good luck, gentlemen.
:41:33. > :41:40.Legends from either team getting involved in the contest. Only missed
:41:41. > :41:44.nine games in his whole 12 year career in the NFL. A quick line on T
:41:45. > :41:53.Y Hilton. A lot of people talked about him. Y,y! Him against Ramsey,
:41:54. > :41:59.that will be an interesting battle? It will, he is very quick. Ramsey
:42:00. > :42:03.has got his work cut out against TY. People think of him as a one trick
:42:04. > :42:07.pony but he is a complete receiver with a lot of speed. He's got moves
:42:08. > :42:15.as well. Let's get some national anthems up, the International
:42:16. > :42:19.Series, we have both our anthem and the American anthem. First, the Star
:42:20. > :42:23.Spangled Banner. Ladies and gentlemen, please rise
:42:24. > :42:40.for the US national anthem. # O'er the ramparts we watched
:42:41. > :43:21.Were so gallantly streaming? # Oh, say does that star
:43:22. > :43:51.spangled banner yet wave # O'er the land of the free
:43:52. > :44:35.And the home of the brave? Now, please welcome, to sing God
:44:36. > :45:10.Save The Queen, world-renowned mezzosoprano Laura Wright.
:45:11. > :45:17.# Happy and glorious # Long to reign over us
:45:18. > :45:31.# God save our Queen. Lots of you getting in touch with us
:45:32. > :45:38.using the hashtag #bbcnfl. Simon Willis asks this. I know would you
:45:39. > :45:43.think, you think he was definitely worth getting? Absolutely. Two years
:45:44. > :45:46.ago you could have argued he was the most valuable player in the NFL in
:45:47. > :45:51.terms of who you want to sign to build a team around for longevity. A
:45:52. > :45:54.young quarterback who is that heavy and has that much talent is someone
:45:55. > :45:59.you can build a franchise around. I think they had to sign him
:46:00. > :46:02.basically. We've been saying a lot that they're certainly aren't 32-bit
:46:03. > :46:07.quarterbacks in the NFL. This year we've seen the legends of a good
:46:08. > :46:09.rookie class. When you find a franchise player like Luck, you hang
:46:10. > :46:14.onto him and build a team around him? No doubt.
:46:15. > :46:19.Clark the quarterback position is the most important position in all
:46:20. > :46:25.sports. He has the mental capacity to do things and leave your
:46:26. > :46:31.franchise. You have to find a good one. Is Blake Bortles that guy? No.
:46:32. > :46:34.What else he just said, mental capacity, Andrew Luck is one of
:46:35. > :46:40.those guys like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. Who comes out and wins or
:46:41. > :46:45.loses the play before it starts. He looks at the defense and he knows
:46:46. > :46:52.where the ball is going before the play starts. That is where the
:46:53. > :46:55.modern game really is won and lost. If you have a quarterback who can do
:46:56. > :47:05.that it puts you so far ahead in the game. So many fewer adjustments. So
:47:06. > :47:14.much less talent. Time to get this one underway with the commentators.
:47:15. > :47:17.COMMENTATOR: The Jaguars have won the toss and they have deferred,
:47:18. > :47:19.which means the Indianapolis Colts and Andrew Locke will get their
:47:20. > :47:39.hands on the football first. I understand why a lot of people
:47:40. > :47:49.like kicking the ball first. Quan Bray is deep for the Colts. Here we
:47:50. > :47:55.go, Quan Bray in the end zone. Out to the 25 yard line. On the
:47:56. > :47:59.sidelines Jamie with us. Bell tough news for both quarterbacks, Blake
:48:00. > :48:05.Bortles without tight end Julius Thomas, dealing with an elbow
:48:06. > :48:10.injury. Just not good enough to go. Andrew Luck, the right side of his
:48:11. > :48:14.line today, he will only have rookies at centre, right guard and
:48:15. > :48:16.right tackle because dens elbow and Joe Wright both out with back
:48:17. > :48:30.injuries. Frank Gore is the deep back. On
:48:31. > :48:40.first down. Gore of two about the 28 yard line. Andrew Luck trying to
:48:41. > :48:44.spark these Colts after a bad start. Dramatic last-gasp win against San
:48:45. > :48:55.Diego last week. Interesting when you talk to a quarterback. You say
:48:56. > :49:05.that. I can't. I can cough. Like that then. That was made.
:49:06. > :49:18.I will keep talking like this. I can't hear you. Obviously it is
:49:19. > :49:31.really loud. And my own shot? COMMENTATOR: TJ Yeldon on first down
:49:32. > :51:15.behind Bortles. On the offensive line the Jaguars
:51:16. > :51:20.get Kelvin Beachum back. He has gifted receivers including Alan
:51:21. > :51:42.Robinson. Two touchdown receptions so far this year. First I'll get the
:51:43. > :51:46.running game. Five, six. Hopefully you are happy and the guys are here
:51:47. > :51:53.and ready to go. Rolling, rolling. Would you like me to sing? They'd
:51:54. > :51:58.appreciate it. OK. You are going on air.
:51:59. > :52:03.The defense getting healthier which includes Patrick Robinson, who
:52:04. > :52:10.missed the last two weeks with concussion in tonnes.
:52:11. > :52:18.They pick up the Blitz. Bortles stepping forward and now they will
:52:19. > :52:22.run. He will not get first down. Third down has been a struggle all
:52:23. > :52:28.year for Jacksonville. 31st in the NFL coming into this game and a lot
:52:29. > :52:33.of it is down to the length that they have it on third down. They
:52:34. > :52:37.need more success on first and second down. Bortles nowhere to go.
:52:38. > :52:51.Just try to make something happen. The rookie making the stock, and
:52:52. > :52:55.Quan Bray is deep for the Colts. The whistle and delay of game. Excuse
:52:56. > :52:57.me. False start, number 25, offense, five yard penalty will stop fourth
:52:58. > :53:08.down. Peyton Thompson the guilty party
:53:09. > :53:27.offsides. High kick. Fair catch called and
:53:28. > :53:32.Quan Bray makes the ground. Andrew Luck going to try to get things
:53:33. > :53:35.started offense vegan. STUDIO: Apologies for the sound issues we
:53:36. > :53:39.had in that first passage of play, that seems to have been resolved
:53:40. > :53:44.now. Caroline is beach-side. You might have heard me singing, singing
:53:45. > :53:49.to our guests and keep them on dub but you don't need that, Carl, what
:53:50. > :53:52.an atmosphere. It really is, an amazing tremendous energy. I can see
:53:53. > :53:57.the fans are passionate and knowledgeable, it is a great place.
:53:58. > :54:03.How badly do you need this win? You could be going home without your
:54:04. > :54:08.courage. Bell you never want to start in the 0.4 hole, that is a
:54:09. > :54:13.quarter of the way through the season. They need to get the win. So
:54:14. > :54:18.important to win last night, bit of confidence into this. I think they
:54:19. > :54:23.are building confidence, obviously winning last week building into this
:54:24. > :54:26.game, this is a big game for us. We talk about intelligence with
:54:27. > :54:31.quarterbacks, in Andrew Luck you have that player who carries this
:54:32. > :54:37.team. Who else are you looking to? Today he has to make some big plays,
:54:38. > :54:43.he has Twell Yeldon, they will have to be intelligence. He has thrown
:54:44. > :54:48.down some big players, what about you guys? Glove the atmosphere was
:54:49. > :54:55.cracking, he will be the big players for you? Andrew Robertson, number
:54:56. > :54:58.15, amazing wide receiver an incredible athlete, we will need him
:54:59. > :55:02.to make some big catches to date stock which way does this go? I am a
:55:03. > :55:08.homer, I'll always go with the Colts. I am a home as well, London

:55:29. > :55:36.coming in as well. We will get into some of your questions in a bit.
:55:37. > :55:50.#BBCNFL COMMENTATOR: Wembley Stadium, the first quarter. Luck
:55:51. > :55:55.begins from his own 25 yard line. Gore bouncing, lost yardage and
:55:56. > :55:59.penalty marker. That will be facemask, you can see three flags
:56:00. > :56:06.flying from all different directions. As Gore was trying to
:56:07. > :56:12.get back to line of scrimmage. Personal foul, facemask, 93 defense.
:56:13. > :56:19.First down. Tyson Alualu is the guilty party. The right hand
:56:20. > :56:23.reaching out and grabbing hold of it. Pretty obvious for the
:56:24. > :56:32.officials. Walt Anderson the referee today.
:56:33. > :56:47.First down from the 40 yard line. Hilton in motion. Gore with a
:56:48. > :56:54.couple. The Jacksonville defense, Jared Odrick out with a triceps
:56:55. > :56:58.injury today. Tyson Alualu after that penalty takes his place up
:56:59. > :57:03.front and the promising rookie linebacker Miles Jack out of UCLA
:57:04. > :57:08.starting for the injured Dan Skuta and the highly touted Ramsey out of
:57:09. > :57:20.Florida State will be shadowing TY Hilton all day long.
:57:21. > :57:33.Luck looking right, over the middle, wide open over the middle Dwayne
:57:34. > :57:41.Allen. Incomplete. Two drops already for the Colts. Josh Ferguson earlier
:57:42. > :57:46.and this time Dwayne Allen in the middle of the field. Luck working
:57:47. > :57:48.through his progression. Taking his head too quickly to try to get
:57:49. > :58:14.upfield before he secures the catch. Luck picked off, midair, intercepted
:58:15. > :58:25.by the jaguars. Number 91, Yannick Ngakoue, rookie third-round pick out
:58:26. > :58:28.of Maryland. Dante Fowler comes in. You will see Fowler working it over
:58:29. > :58:37.from the right side, this is where the pressure comes.
:58:38. > :58:42.You can see the twist on that side of the field and Fowler gets his
:58:43. > :58:46.right hand up and able to tip it up into the air. Here is Jacksonville
:58:47. > :59:05.with the early opportunity. Bortles. Down again. Did he lose the
:59:06. > :59:09.handle war was that batted down? He went through it progressively and he
:59:10. > :59:14.got locked in on the left and then he tried sliding to his right and by
:59:15. > :59:18.that time the pocket had collapsed and he was not able to get it over
:59:19. > :59:26.the line. That one batted down as well. A little bit forge and as far
:59:27. > :59:34.as where that ball went. Andrew Luck rallying the troops on the sideline.
:59:35. > :59:39.Yeldon with a big hole up the middle. Close to a first down inside
:59:40. > :59:57.the 15 yard line. This play going up the middle and
:59:58. > :00:02.you will see the hole that is created on the trap, the kick out
:00:03. > :00:11.block. Excellent job by Jacksonville. Really getting the
:00:12. > :00:14.block in. Yeldon on first down trying the left side and trying to
:00:15. > :00:19.turn the corner and he gets a couple. This Jacksonville offense
:00:20. > :00:24.has just one rushing touchdown this season and Yeldon has it. Number 89,
:00:25. > :00:28.offense, ten yard penalty, still first down. That will back them up.
:00:29. > :00:46.Marcedes Lewis. Guilty of holding. Gus Bradley one of the more
:00:47. > :00:51.enthusiastic coaches we run into. He is just so fired up. You wonder what
:00:52. > :00:55.something like this early on, how it is going to affect him. He was and
:00:56. > :00:58.he bounced into the meeting is there and you thought you would see a
:00:59. > :01:06.different reaction. Very little sleep. Meeting him early. He is
:01:07. > :01:09.frustrated with how things have gone but he has maintained a positive
:01:10. > :01:14.attitude throughout. Jacksonville taking a time-out.
:01:15. > :01:20.Let's talk about the keys to the game in your eyes today? There's
:01:21. > :01:26.certain things here, important that they limit the hits on Luck. He's
:01:27. > :01:32.going to be under some pressure, potentially under some pressure
:01:33. > :01:40.today. Jacksonville have given up nine sacks in the season. It's
:01:41. > :01:46.important that the Colts get pressure on Bortles. Everyone talked
:01:47. > :01:54.to us about getting the line going. You've got Smith in there as well,
:01:55. > :01:55.and three young linebackers. Bortles on the run, terrific when he is on
:01:56. > :02:07.the move. Antonio Morrison ran him out of
:02:08. > :02:12.bounds. As you pointed out, Bortles is good when he's on the move. He's
:02:13. > :02:16.a very mobile quarterback. Nearly six foot five, 240 lbs. He's not
:02:17. > :02:20.afraid to take off and run using that vision and his accuracy outside
:02:21. > :02:29.the pocket is the best in the National Football League.
:02:30. > :02:35.Yeldon, again. Racing to the outside. Inside the 10, inside the
:02:36. > :02:43.five! Before he is thrown out of bounds.
:02:44. > :03:03.Lost the football at about, if bounced out at about the 1-yard
:03:04. > :03:07.line. At that ball gone into the end zone and out the side of the end
:03:08. > :03:10.zone, that would have been a touchback and Indianapolis's ball
:03:11. > :03:15.but the fact is that you can't gain yardage on a fumble. Instead of the
:03:16. > :03:20.ball being inside the one when the ball went out of bounds, because the
:03:21. > :03:28.offense retain possession, it went back to where the fumble occurred,
:03:29. > :03:35.so outside the three. Anderson having a quick discussion with
:03:36. > :03:41.Hayes. They're going to reset the play clock. Chris Ivory has gone
:03:42. > :03:46.into the game in the backfield for Jacksonville. 1st goal from the
:03:47. > :04:10.three. Touchdowns Allen Robinson! Allen Robinson one-on-one against
:04:11. > :04:21.Cromartie on the outside, a bit of a double move. Works his way to the
:04:22. > :04:26.outside like he's going to run a fade, nobody to the inside for help.
:04:27. > :04:33.Third touchdown catch of the season for Robinson. The Glik it's going to
:04:34. > :04:48.be a fake cross. Bortles on the money with the throw. 23 to play --
:04:49. > :04:51.three to play in the first quarter. Jacksonville with the lead.
:04:52. > :04:59.Not exactly the start that the Jacksonville Jaguars needed. Tiote
:05:00. > :05:04.Fowler missed his entire rookie season. What you're going to see
:05:05. > :05:13.them do right here it is called downs. Run what we call a TE stunt.
:05:14. > :05:18.Get his hands up, knock the ball down, make a big play for the
:05:19. > :05:23.Jacksonville Jaguars. He's getting a lot of plaudits as well, the rookie.
:05:24. > :05:28.He picked up a couple of sacks in the week. Everyone in the park
:05:29. > :05:33.thinks Chris Ivory is going to carry the ball. They fake it to him and
:05:34. > :05:39.then Robinson does a great job coming off the line here of making
:05:40. > :05:43.it look like he's blocking, so when he finally breaks inside, Cromartie
:05:44. > :05:47.has no chance at all of keeping up with him. A beautifully executed
:05:48. > :05:52.fake from both guys, the quarterback, the running back and
:05:53. > :05:55.the wide receiver. He looked pretty composed, Blake Bortles? He did when
:05:56. > :05:59.he's not under pressure and the fake took the pressure off. But in the
:06:00. > :06:03.pocket he's going like this and you look at Luck and Luck is calm and
:06:04. > :06:08.looking around like this. There's a real difference once pressure comes
:06:09. > :06:16.on. A new beat question from Ben Driscoll. "Great Summary of the
:06:17. > :06:22.rules but any chance of explanation of the fouls including "Unnecessary
:06:23. > :06:30.roughness"? Any time you grab an opponent's mask and his head moves,
:06:31. > :06:36.there's two variations of that foul. There's two different kinds. Do you
:06:37. > :06:39.want me to demonstrate the fouls on Osi?
:06:40. > :06:44.CHUCKLES Keep those coming in. Any questions,
:06:45. > :06:49.Newby or otherwise, we will get to them over the next couple of hours.
:06:50. > :06:57.COMMENTATOR: Jacksonville with the lead and that is rare for the
:06:58. > :06:59.Jaguars. They have spent a total of 12 minutes so far this season with
:07:00. > :07:11.the lead. 12.04, to be exact. Once again it was points off of
:07:12. > :07:19.turnovers. Andrew Luck talked about that from the Colts standpoint. Bray
:07:20. > :07:35.across the 35 to the 30-yard line or so. Brought down by Brown.
:07:36. > :07:41.So, Andrew Luck is probably thinking, trend, if I could have
:07:42. > :07:47.some guys hold onto the ball here and there, I would be able to do
:07:48. > :07:48.something! That was unfortunate, that tipped pass. But you're right,
:07:49. > :08:02.he has had two guys drop it. Fake. Luck stepping well and then
:08:03. > :08:04.out to the side. Penalty marker downfield as Jack is forced out just
:08:05. > :08:19.short of the 40-yard line. Going to be called for holding on
:08:20. > :08:27.Jalen Ramsey over on the far side, matched up on T Y Hilton.
:08:28. > :08:31.REFEREE: Two fouls on the play, both on that defense. Holding number 31
:08:32. > :08:40.on the defense prior to the past. Illegal contact, number 20 defense.
:08:41. > :08:45.5-yard penalty, automatic 1st down. Let's take a look at both of them.
:08:46. > :08:52.This is going to be the illegal bump. T Y Hilton on Ramsey. The
:08:53. > :08:59.little double move that started. And then here is House on the far side.
:09:00. > :09:08.A lot of hand contact their called with the hold. Second 1st down of
:09:09. > :09:14.the day by Indy, as a result of the penalty. Fair to say Jalen Ramsey is
:09:15. > :09:22.a confident young man? He has reason to be coming he has a productive
:09:23. > :09:25.start to the season. -- he has reason to be. He has had a
:09:26. > :09:30.productive start to the season. We asked him if he was going to be on T
:09:31. > :09:39.Y Hilton all day and he kind of looked around and said... Do I look,
:09:40. > :09:46.do I tell these guys this? Across the 45, to the 48-yard line. The
:09:47. > :09:49.linebacker making the stop. I have noticed already that Ramsey has
:09:50. > :09:53.stayed to the outside, whether he's working the right side or the left
:09:54. > :09:58.side of the field, he's been able to follow T Y Hilton around, but most
:09:59. > :10:00.of the time when T Y Hilton is in the slot, he will stay on the
:10:01. > :10:05.outside. Most of the time he's matched against rookie Chester
:10:06. > :10:10.Rogers but he has also been matched against Frank Gore. Here he is at
:10:11. > :10:15.the bottom of the screen on T Y again.
:10:16. > :10:25.Frank Gore once again, and he has a 1st down as he crosses midfield. He
:10:26. > :10:33.gets to around the 48-yard line. Frank Gore, moving up the charts.
:10:34. > :10:39.All-time rushing yardage. And he is now one is yard shy of number 12
:10:40. > :10:46.all-time, nearing Marcus Allen. He is within range of edge in James and
:10:47. > :10:53.Marshall Falk, and Jim Brown. It's impressive when you think what he
:10:54. > :10:55.has done throughout his career. Over 1000 yards. Just a very consistent
:10:56. > :11:01.back. Luck, overrunning it. Dives forward
:11:02. > :11:13.to about the 42-yard line. That is a little bit if and Andrew
:11:14. > :11:18.Luck to the one we're used to seeing. You can tell he's being
:11:19. > :11:21.smarter with his body here, stepping up in the pocket, sees there's
:11:22. > :11:26.nothing in the field and that is very rare to see him go down. In
:11:27. > :11:30.previous seasons, he would try and lower his shoulder to pick up some
:11:31. > :11:36.extra yards. He's getting a bit wiser, trying to protect himself.
:11:37. > :11:40.People have said he's like an extra running back. He is, he's a physical
:11:41. > :11:46.guide. He realises he has to stay open for this Colts team. Back in
:11:47. > :11:47.and four, nearside, that is complete, to Frank Gore and
:11:48. > :11:59.incomplete. So, the Colts having problems
:12:00. > :12:02.holding onto the football. If Andrew Luck can make all the throes, it's
:12:03. > :12:05.not going to do him any good if the Colts can't make the catch is.
:12:06. > :12:09.That's the third one they haven't been able to bring in. We talked
:12:10. > :12:14.about the defensive recognition earlier on, because he knows what
:12:15. > :12:18.defenses do, but that last one he had to protect himself. He was smart
:12:19. > :12:23.going of the middle before taking too much of a hit. Luck one out of
:12:24. > :12:29.five for 40 yards and one interception.
:12:30. > :12:38.That one is complete. 1st down and 37, to TY Hilton. Some people may
:12:39. > :12:42.think that is an inaccurate throw because you're making the receiver
:12:43. > :12:46.go down, but that's actually the smart place to put that football.
:12:47. > :12:50.When you have two defenders squeezing the receiver and you want
:12:51. > :12:55.to protect your receiver from taking a big hit, put it low, put it where
:12:56. > :12:58.he can catch it on his body and keep it away from happening and that was
:12:59. > :13:06.able to secure the catch and get the 1st down. Can't stress enough that
:13:07. > :13:17.he is behind an offensive lined that has three rookies upfront. Luck with
:13:18. > :13:19.all kinds of time. Inside the Hilton. Hilton buried it about the
:13:20. > :13:32.32. Hilton lined up on Ramsey. Just the
:13:33. > :13:38.short shallow cross on the inside. He's smart here to go down. He sees
:13:39. > :13:43.Jones coming in to put a big hit on him. We talked about Andrew
:13:44. > :13:49.protecting himself and that time TY Hilton realised he was giving about
:13:50. > :13:53.150 lbs up to go down and that was smart!
:13:54. > :14:08.Here's a reverse, double reverse. Ndour sit spins down inside the 30.
:14:09. > :14:13.At the 29-yard line. Turned an ankle in practice on Friday. He was put on
:14:14. > :14:20.the injury report, for the starting line-up today. They lost Donte
:14:21. > :14:24.Moncrief for four to six weeks with a shoulder injury. When we saw that
:14:25. > :14:28.happen we were a bit concerned with how many bodies we were going to
:14:29. > :14:32.have out there. Excellent job by Jalen Ramsey to stay on that side
:14:33. > :14:39.and not be fooled into making the tackle. So, 3rd 3.
:14:40. > :14:51.Luck, on the move. As the 1st down and slides down at the 25-yard line.
:14:52. > :14:59.Andrew Luck getting it done with his legs. You see, he wants to throw out
:15:00. > :15:03.to the right side where he has TY Hilton and then he has Ndour sit
:15:04. > :15:09.over on the right side line. Once again taking care of himself after
:15:10. > :15:15.he picks up the 1st down. He gets down, avoiding the big hit. I asked
:15:16. > :15:20.Andrew if he gives any thought to all of that youth and inexperience
:15:21. > :15:25.upfront. You can't get caught up in worrying about it too much. You have
:15:26. > :15:34.to think about your job. Luck under pressure and he goes down at the 35.
:15:35. > :15:40.As soon as we talked about it... Boy, the Jaguars got after him. He's
:15:41. > :15:47.going to work his way right in the middle. They also come off the edge.
:15:48. > :15:55.A is on the outside trying to figure
:15:56. > :16:01.out, they messed up the combination. Just that confusion in protection
:16:02. > :16:07.allowed him to get free. So now it is a 2nd 20.
:16:08. > :16:22.Luck spreads the field. Incomplete. It will be third and 20. Sometimes
:16:23. > :16:26.it is good to play the ball low to protect the receiver and that time
:16:27. > :16:38.could clearly wasn't good. That was second and long.
:16:39. > :16:54.Blake Bortles anticipating returning to the fray shortly. Let's see what
:16:55. > :17:04.Andrew Luck comes up with. Short on over the middle and through the arms
:17:05. > :17:09.of Chester Rogers. You were not trying for the first down, just some
:17:10. > :17:13.yardage so you could make it a more makeable field goal but I do not
:17:14. > :17:20.know if Adam Vinatieri needs any yardage the way he has been kicking
:17:21. > :17:25.in his 21st season. He has hit 31 consecutive field goals. This is 53
:17:26. > :17:51.yards. STUDIO: It feels like a home game
:17:52. > :17:55.for the Jags, you could barely hear a whimper after that cake. You
:17:56. > :18:02.wonder what the Colts are doing, feeling their way around. Where is
:18:03. > :18:08.the run. They have gone now twice to the tight ends and both of them have
:18:09. > :18:14.dropped. Jack Doyle had a good game last week. It is neither here nor
:18:15. > :18:19.there. Credit to the Jacksonville defense, they have been solid.
:18:20. > :18:27.Andrew Luck currently the highest pressured passer in the Hall of the
:18:28. > :18:31.NFL. The line not protecting him. You have three rookies out there on
:18:32. > :18:38.the offensive line. One of whom was expected to start. That is a run
:18:39. > :18:43.blitz. People didn't know who to block, the running back on tight end
:18:44. > :18:47.end up blocking one. Any time there are numbers in the 70s looking down
:18:48. > :18:55.at the quarterback you know they have just had their ooops handed to
:18:56. > :19:01.them. Locke has taken 375 hits coming into this season, they should
:19:02. > :19:05.protect them better. It is ridiculous job by the Colts, this is
:19:06. > :19:09.a franchise Gautama, they had invested money in him that you do
:19:10. > :19:15.not do in the offensive line to protect them. They got away with it
:19:16. > :19:22.for years with Peyton Manning. With makeshift lines, good line coaching
:19:23. > :19:25.but makeshift lines. They just felt he could get rid of the ball so
:19:26. > :19:32.quickly they would not need to put Tech ten. He was a different kind of
:19:33. > :19:42.four Zusi, Andrew Luck will stand there and take the punishment. As
:19:43. > :19:54.you said, showing a lot of mouse to make the third and convergence.
:19:55. > :19:59.They have been in position to be better than this. COMMENTATOR: Such
:20:00. > :20:09.high expectations from the Cardinals coming in. Corey Grant. Got an
:20:10. > :20:20.opening. Just across the 25 yard line. Blake Bortles back to work on
:20:21. > :20:28.offense when we come back. STUDIO: People getting in touch with us on
:20:29. > :20:33.the hashtag #BBCNFL. Asking which two teams will make the Super Bowl?
:20:34. > :20:37.The page is looking good again. People love that question, it is
:20:38. > :20:41.almost meaningless. People love to ask. I think the Patriots have a
:20:42. > :20:50.really good shot. Tom Brady back next week, they will be at worst
:20:51. > :20:58.3-1. The AFC against the NSC, they are the clear from his team. Denver
:20:59. > :21:03.looks like they have a good defense, they don't need a great quarterback.
:21:04. > :21:06.Denver against New England. Pittsburgh I would put up there
:21:07. > :21:13.after last week. We will see what happens. Will not attempt to make a
:21:14. > :21:17.prediction. Are you surprised about the Denver defense maintaining low
:21:18. > :21:23.standards? It is or was a problem after winning the Super Bowl, the
:21:24. > :21:27.team is often dismantled. They are young, well, not young, but a good
:21:28. > :21:33.mix of players, notably rituximab Wade Phillips, outstanding defensive

:21:51. > :21:54.asking whether they can hold on to Jimmy Garoppolo? He has looked
:21:55. > :21:59.really good. He probably is the one they would look to trade before his
:22:00. > :22:06.contract is up. Forsyth is someone they feel confident being the
:22:07. > :22:13.back-up until Tom Brady retires at 65. Garoppolo will go out and ball,
:22:14. > :22:17.everybody thinks he will be a good player but if he leaves Belichick he
:22:18. > :22:24.will disappear. Matt Cassel watching somewhere and listening. Nice
:22:25. > :22:37.problem for the Patriots to have. COMMENTATOR: At about the 33 yard
:22:38. > :22:39.line. D'Qwell Jackson. Problem for Jacksonville all season with their
:22:40. > :22:50.running game, coming into this game, Chris Ivory had 14 yards. They have
:22:51. > :22:58.only got 55 yards rushing per game. Four. Throughout having some balance
:22:59. > :23:08.in this offense. They give it to ivory again. Penalty flag. Erik
:23:09. > :23:12.Walden making the stop. Holding, number 87, offense, ten yard

:23:19. > :23:25.thoughts with Bortles, he looked at as after saying we need to run the
:23:26. > :23:29.ball more. He said don't get me wrong, I like to throw as much as
:23:30. > :23:30.possible but he understands for this offense, for the best success, they
:23:31. > :23:53.need to have the balance. Jacksonville with 41 total yards.
:23:54. > :23:59.And 45 penalty yards. Almost intercepted at the line of
:24:00. > :24:05.scrimmage, behind the line stop Hassan Ridgway, fourth round traffic
:24:06. > :24:09.out of Texas. That is why as a quarterback you will see Bortles
:24:10. > :24:13.with his eyes to the right, he comes back to throw the screen to the left
:24:14. > :24:16.and Ridgeway is right there to jump up and knock it down unfortunately
:24:17. > :24:24.for the Jaguars that was not intercepted. -- and fortunately for
:24:25. > :24:28.the Jags. Bortles just one out of four throwing, that was the three
:24:29. > :24:35.yard touchdown pass. Looking at third and 19.
:24:36. > :24:42.With time, pop over the middle to Yeldon, to the near side. Out of
:24:43. > :24:48.bounds on the 30 yard line. Well short of first down.
:24:49. > :24:56.You know, Trent, this is a Jacksonville team, much has been
:24:57. > :24:59.expected of this year. They were even prognostications of
:25:00. > :25:03.Jacksonville winning the AFC South. When you look at the age of this
:25:04. > :25:12.team and you think, are they ready to make the next step? Alan Robinson
:25:13. > :25:21.and Allen Hurns and Blake Bortles, and this is a team that is really
:25:22. > :25:23.set up to be going well. No fair catch on brave. Away from a couple
:25:24. > :25:27.of tacklers. We will take a break. Three seconds
:25:28. > :25:42.shy of the end of the first quarter. Caroline fits in. If you want to
:25:43. > :25:48.feel what it is like, you nearly stacked it? I have my wages on, they
:25:49. > :25:51.told me I would be running out. The grass is quite slippery but we had a
:25:52. > :25:55.great reception, it was unbelievable. You have been there
:25:56. > :25:59.and done it at the highest level but the pressure of a big crowd? This is
:26:00. > :26:03.what we pay for, I would love to have a crowd like this, absolutely
:26:04. > :26:08.amazing atmosphere. As sports people we love playing as front of crowds.
:26:09. > :26:14.Not that purpose, Stamford Bridge and at Wembley. And we have the
:26:15. > :26:17.parade coming up in London in a few weeks, then Buckingham Palace. It
:26:18. > :26:28.has been a whirlwind since we have been home. One word, who wins? Home
:26:29. > :26:35.team, Jaguars. Give me a go Jaguars. Then, I won't embarrass me! Go
:26:36. > :26:39.Jaguars! We have established you have got two Super Bowl rings,
:26:40. > :26:48.Olympic gold medal. Would you trade on? Wow. On the spot. Olympic is
:26:49. > :26:56.national, whereas Super Bowl, I think I would have too. I would give
:26:57. > :26:59.one. What sport? Soccer. Absolutely. I would go out there for Nigeria or
:27:00. > :27:09.Great Britain. We would definitely have you. They are big and tall.
:27:10. > :27:16.Asmir Begovic knows his stuff. Keep your questions coming in. If you
:27:17. > :27:21.want to get in touch. We have a lot of Jacksonville questions to get
:27:22. > :27:28.into in a moment. Using the hashtag #BBCNFL. Let's see what the Colts
:27:29. > :27:33.can get going here. , set Hooper that other? I was on the Miami
:27:34. > :27:38.Dolphins team. You weren't supposed to show that.
:27:39. > :27:48.-- who was it who put that up there? The 30 yard line. We have come to
:27:49. > :27:57.the end of one here in London. We will take a break. COMMENTATOR:
:27:58. > :28:10.STUDIO: The first quarter going according to plan for Jaguars, off
:28:11. > :28:14.to a fast start, setting up a 17th touchdown for Allen Robinson since
:28:15. > :28:22.the start of last season. And Blake Bortles for first quarter touchdown
:28:23. > :28:27.in his whole career. Can you believe that? I love that camera angle, that
:28:28. > :28:31.is what the ball looks like when it is coming at you unexpectedly, the
:28:32. > :28:37.big thing slowly coming at you. What do I do? People thought it might be
:28:38. > :28:43.the shoot out but it hasn't gone that way so far. I like the fact
:28:44. > :28:51.that Jacksonville got points off the fence, that is what they needed to
:28:52. > :28:57.do. And the way they manufactured that turnover, the defensive line
:28:58. > :29:02.blocking, they have got the talent and they have to put that talent in
:29:03. > :29:04.position to succeed. Offensively disappointing from both teams. That
:29:05. > :29:10.is what you expect from Jacksonville. The Colts, is that the
:29:11. > :29:16.defense from Jacksonville like we were saying all the Colts just do
:29:17. > :29:20.not seem to be able to adjust. Having a life on a par does not make
:29:21. > :29:25.that easy. Another look at the touchdown, Allen Robinson with a
:29:26. > :29:29.huge season last year, now he is up and running again. You hit the
:29:30. > :29:33.outside and then comes inside, Blake Bortles with the play-action.
:29:34. > :29:40.Outstanding throw, his only completion of the game so far. When
:29:41. > :29:43.he came out, he knows he has Robinson one-on-one on the outside.
:29:44. > :29:48.You have to be able to trust Allen Robinson to beat him one-on-one,
:29:49. > :29:51.especially on the short pattern like that. Cromarty had no help. Nobody
:29:52. > :30:00.inside to cut him off. Frank Gore this thing himself up to
:30:01. > :30:06.charge with that run, out to about the 35-yard line and it will be just
:30:07. > :30:12.short of a 1st down. But Frank Gore has now passed Marcus Allen for 12th
:30:13. > :30:17.place all-time and he is now passed edge in James for 11th place. When
:30:18. > :30:26.you look at all the names on that list, it's impressive. -- Edrin
:30:27. > :30:29.James. A couple more Hall of Famers ahead of him. Marshall Falk in his
:30:30. > :30:37.sights and Jim Brown is a possibility. Looking for the 1st
:30:38. > :30:45.down, he appears to have it. What did the Jaguars say? Defensively the
:30:46. > :30:48.problem with Frank Gore is he seems to get stronger as the game goes on.
:30:49. > :30:54.The number one thing they want to do is stop the run. Even with Andrew
:30:55. > :30:58.Luck in the passing game you want to make a team one dimensional. If they
:30:59. > :31:02.can limit Frank Gore, they can force it and really get pressure on Andrew
:31:03. > :31:05.Luck if they can make it a one dimensional game. So far they
:31:06. > :31:17.haven't had a lot of success stopping Frank Gore. Luck, with
:31:18. > :31:23.time. Thrown short to Robert Turner, out of the backfield. Well covered
:31:24. > :31:31.by Jacksonville. They held onto that one. They've had a rough day so far.
:31:32. > :31:40.Andrew Luck four of ten. Three of those, six in completions are drops.
:31:41. > :31:44.The last one by Rogers. Trying to get some continuity going
:31:45. > :31:56.offensively. You've got to be able to hang onto the football. Luck will
:31:57. > :32:04.fake, screen on the inside and this is Allen. Big tight end over
:32:05. > :32:10.Jacksonville's territory. The 49-yard line for a 1st down. Well,
:32:11. > :32:12.the Colts have tried on several occasions to hit the play action and
:32:13. > :32:34.pushed the... So, the Colts in Jacksonville
:32:35. > :32:38.territory from the 1st down. Josh Ferguson.
:32:39. > :32:48.Very little yardage. Roy Miller and send Eric Marks making the stop.
:32:49. > :32:58.we have to render that right side of the line, starting center Ryan
:32:59. > :33:01.Kelly, a rookie first round out of Al Obama, filling in at guard
:33:02. > :33:19.Denzelle Good. -- out of Alabama. Three rookie offensive lineman.
:33:20. > :33:38.Luck, under pressure and going down again. He stood up. Third sack of
:33:39. > :33:49.the season, the third round pick from Maryland. Andrew Luck had no
:33:50. > :33:53.chance to get rid of the ball. The quick whistle prevents Luck from
:33:54. > :33:57.getting slammed to the ground. As you mentioned, he's had a lot of the
:33:58. > :34:06.problems coming from the left side. The miscommunication earlier. Luck
:34:07. > :34:08.will bring it down and then toss it. Intended for Chester Rogers. Covered
:34:09. > :34:14.by divine house. House had way too much contact with
:34:15. > :34:21.Chester Rogers. REFEREE: Pass interference, number
:34:22. > :34:36.31, defense. 1st down, not a foul. That was a grab at the facemask and
:34:37. > :34:46.now you're grabbing the entire left arm. Easy call for the officials.
:34:47. > :34:53.The Colts now to the Jacksonville 35.
:34:54. > :35:07.Frank Gore. Picks his spot inside the 30. Two about the 27, 20 8-yard
:35:08. > :35:12.line. Smith with the tackle. As much as anything, this is just wearing
:35:13. > :35:15.down that Jacksonville defense. The Colts have been able to control time
:35:16. > :35:19.and possession, running the football and getting some conversions. We
:35:20. > :35:25.mentioned the drop passes earlier in the game but with this balance and
:35:26. > :35:26.type of possession, it really starts wearing down that front of the
:35:27. > :35:42.Jacksonville Jaguars. 2nd 3, deep drop. Luck with time.
:35:43. > :35:47.It is complete to Frank Gore, who goes down at about the 26-yard line.
:35:48. > :35:53.So many things just don't seem to add up for this Jacksonville team.
:35:54. > :36:01.They are eighth in the league in giving up yards per game but it is
:36:02. > :36:07.the run gain that presents a problem for them. Ramsey on TY Hilton.
:36:08. > :36:13.That's one of the things we talk to Blake Bortles about, Ramsey in
:36:14. > :36:21.practice. His arms are so long, you think a receiver is open and he will
:36:22. > :36:30.come up and knock a ball down. And we get a flag for, looked like a
:36:31. > :36:38.first dart. REFEREE: Number 83, offense. 5-yard
:36:39. > :36:48.penalty, 1st down. Instead of 3rd 1, it will be 3rd 6. They were in
:36:49. > :36:54.a three tight end package, but now the two extra tight end is coming
:36:55. > :36:58.off the field. More of a spread offensively. The first foul of the
:36:59. > :37:04.day against the Colts. Jacksonville have committed six. Luck has took
:37:05. > :37:08.all-time outcome and he's running out of time on the play clock.
:37:09. > :37:12.Indianapolis using its first Time out here. 9.01 to play in the first
:37:13. > :37:16.half. Lots of tweets coming in, one from
:37:17. > :37:35.Tony We talked about how there are more
:37:36. > :37:38.Jaguars fans here than in previous years and they're making a lot of
:37:39. > :37:43.noise, but it's not quite the same thing, is it? Not quite the same but
:37:44. > :37:46.it's a drastic improvement from when I first came here to play when
:37:47. > :37:53.everybody was fans of every Woody and nobody knew when to applaud or
:37:54. > :37:56.when to boo. Now it's some kind of an advantage of Jacksonville. In
:37:57. > :38:01.terms of galvanising a team when you go on a road trip and go to foreign
:38:02. > :38:04.climes, it can be something that can really kick-start a season, as we've
:38:05. > :38:12.seen a number of times in the past. It worked for us! Mike, it is
:38:13. > :38:21.fascinating, we talked about the first game because you must have
:38:22. > :38:28.played here with the Miami Dolphins? Horrible weather, scrambling for the
:38:29. > :38:31.touchdown! Jacobs telling me to wait for him to take a shower before I
:38:32. > :38:36.could do an interview! It's come such a long way, the International
:38:37. > :38:41.Series. It has grown and grown and I think it stunning Zachary what the
:38:42. > :38:45.NFL wanted it to do. It has replaced NFL Europe. They wanted to promote
:38:46. > :38:49.the game in Britain primarily but also around Europe and it has
:38:50. > :38:52.absolutely done that. The profile is so much higher now nationwide as a
:38:53. > :38:59.result of these games and what we have got is three events per year.
:39:00. > :39:03.It's not like three regular-season games, its most like three mini
:39:04. > :39:08.Super Bowls. I think it's great, you know? Twickenham coming up as well
:39:09. > :39:17.next season. Can't wait for that, the Giants! I thought you would be a
:39:18. > :39:24.bit animated for that one! That is live on BBC Two as well. What is the
:39:25. > :39:29.endgame, do you think, Osi? Every year this question gets asked but
:39:30. > :39:32.are wheeling a franchise or more regular-season games? I think London
:39:33. > :39:36.deserves a franchise but not quite yet. I think we need to build up the
:39:37. > :39:40.amount of games over here, see of London can sustain an actual
:39:41. > :39:47.franchise and go from there. Bond memories of his time in London. 3rd
:39:48. > :39:56.6. Like throwing over the middle. Over the hands of Phillip Dorsett.
:39:57. > :39:59.That would have been a tough catch. It was low but that is one you would
:40:00. > :40:04.like to see receivers make so you can add that to the list of drop
:40:05. > :40:10.passes. He undercuts Dwayne Allen but it hits him in both hands. It
:40:11. > :40:11.would have been difficult but it is one you would like to see him bring
:40:12. > :40:27.in. This one is from 50 yards. On its
:40:28. > :40:34.way... Got it inside the upright! That is his second of the day. This
:40:35. > :40:42.is the NFL on... The Colts will be very frustrated
:40:43. > :40:46.with that because they act up a lot of the clock and it was a promising
:40:47. > :40:51.drive and ended up with just a field goal. They have themselves to blame.
:40:52. > :40:55.They're dropping a lot of football 's. They did it in San Diego last
:40:56. > :40:59.week in a game they could probably have put away. You have the ball in
:41:00. > :41:04.your hands and it's kind of basic stuff. It's not a great past but
:41:05. > :41:09.still a catchable ball. When you're in the field you have to make that
:41:10. > :41:11.catch. Complete lack of focus from the Indianapolis Colts. You know
:41:12. > :41:17.your quarterback isn't playing that well and your offense is struggling.
:41:18. > :41:20.You have to make the critical catches. It's all about
:41:21. > :41:23.concentration and focusing on the ball coming into your hands. The
:41:24. > :41:26.really great guys can have it in their hands and think about what
:41:27. > :41:29.comes next but for most receivers, you have to make sure you've got the
:41:30. > :41:33.ball and then you start thinking about what you're going to do next.
:41:34. > :41:38.If your concentration lapses, it's on you. We talked so much about the
:41:39. > :41:44.Jaguars's familiarity with London now and the players have made the
:41:45. > :41:49.journey more than once, a lot of them. For the Colts, it's a
:41:50. > :41:51.different story. How much is that affecting them, first time here and
:41:52. > :41:55.they've not experienced anything like this? That is how it seems
:41:56. > :41:59.right now. They're not focusing and paying attention. Little things
:42:00. > :42:01.they're not doing, I think it's because they're not accustomed to
:42:02. > :42:09.coming here and playing on the football field. Both of the teams
:42:10. > :42:12.did a short stay which I think is better for adjusting because you
:42:13. > :42:16.don't have the time zone thing. We've discovered over the years that
:42:17. > :42:20.for NFL teams travelling west to east especially, time zones can be a
:42:21. > :42:25.real problem. Hopefully they are now in their own time zone but for the
:42:26. > :42:29.players it is still early morning, US speaking. For a lot of them it is
:42:30. > :42:43.like a wake-up call. The lead is down to one. Number four
:42:44. > :42:45.is Adam Vinatieri, 43 years of age. Just hit his 33rd straight field
:42:46. > :42:58.goal. Corey Grant in the end zone. Let's take a look at our stats and
:42:59. > :43:02.talk a bit about Blake Bortles and what he's good at and what he's best
:43:03. > :43:05.at. Earlier in the game we talked about Blake Bortles and his accuracy
:43:06. > :43:13.outside the pocket and this is going to show that accuracy. 60%, 28th in
:43:14. > :43:18.the NFL inside the pocket but it is when he gets outside the pocket that
:43:19. > :43:24.his accuracy picks up. 71%, first in the National Football League.
:43:25. > :43:34.1st down. From the 25-yard line, TJ Yeldon in the backfield with Bortles
:43:35. > :43:42.to throw. On the move. Spins forward to about the 20-yard line. Jackson
:43:43. > :43:50.waiting for him outside. What they really need to do here is keep a
:43:51. > :43:55.drive going. The possession tide is lopsided in Indianapolis's favour.
:43:56. > :43:58.Coming into this drive, they any had about five minutes of offense from
:43:59. > :44:04.when they have been on the field, Jacksonville. Need to get something
:44:05. > :44:10.going here. I don't mean necessarily from a point standpoint but just to
:44:11. > :44:14.give their defense a rest! This is Yeldon, and Yeldon with some running
:44:15. > :44:23.up the middle and has a 1st down up the 35 to about the 37.5 yard line.
:44:24. > :44:34.You look at the possessions. We have not seen very much of the offense
:44:35. > :44:39.today. The touchdown was after the tip pass interception in the Colts
:44:40. > :44:45.territory, so they didn't have to go very far. They got the lead, 7-6.
:44:46. > :44:46.But from an offensive standpoint they haven't been able to get in any
:44:47. > :45:02.rhythm. Bortles slides about a yard short of
:45:03. > :45:05.the 1st down marker. You can see the Jacksonville sideline getting
:45:06. > :45:15.excited because he slid and took the hit. He works through four different
:45:16. > :45:21.progressions. Just has no one open. Antonio Morrison jumping on him
:45:22. > :45:26.late. That is what the sideline was fired up about. 21 rushing yards, 14
:45:27. > :45:35.yards passing. Looking for 1st down, Yeldon, reversing and he will lose
:45:36. > :45:45.yardage on the play. D'Qwell Jackson with the big push in the middle.
:45:46. > :45:54.That is not a good sign for Jacksonville, Luke Joeckel the left
:45:55. > :46:00.guard on the ground. We will take a break.
:46:01. > :46:06.STUDIO: Our first guest of the day has dropped by, pretty good one to
:46:07. > :46:12.get things going, Fred Taylor racking up 14,000 yards in the NFL,
:46:13. > :46:17.74 touchdowns. Not just the Jaguars legend but NFL legend. It must be a
:46:18. > :46:22.very exciting day for you to be here with the Jaguars becoming such a
:46:23. > :46:29.fixture in the international series. It is growing every year, this is my
:46:30. > :46:32.fourth year in a row, fifth-year with the NFL International. Always a
:46:33. > :46:40.pleasure, the fans make me feel like home every time. It is a good
:46:41. > :46:48.feeling. What changes have you seen in the last four years. Just how it
:46:49. > :46:56.has grown. Before you would see the variety of every type of NFL jersey.
:46:57. > :47:04.And now when I do functions and events it is Jaguars jerseys. Not
:47:05. > :47:12.enough Fred Taylor jerseys. This is the new era. There is a lot of Fred
:47:13. > :47:16.Taylor fans out there. Palme lots of Fred Taylor shelled out there today.
:47:17. > :47:22.Difficult start to the season for the Jaguars but such a talented
:47:23. > :47:25.group of players. The ceiling, the potential is very high. The
:47:26. > :47:30.potential is high but you have to do things to create and maximise that
:47:31. > :47:41.potential. I think being a young team, then they have the' guys are,
:47:42. > :47:48.for me one thing with their success, 30 plus penalties in three games,
:47:49. > :47:51.that is not acceptable. There is a reflection, the coaching, that shows
:47:52. > :47:55.lack of discipline. And from the player 's standpoint it is
:47:56. > :48:04.accountability. And hopefully they can find a way.
:48:05. > :48:08.Over the middle. Got his man, penalty mark a throw, Allen Robinson
:48:09. > :48:31.with the catch. We checked the flag. Antonio Cromartie in coverage.
:48:32. > :48:33.Holding, number 32, defense, the penalty declined, the result of the
:48:34. > :48:42.plague completed. 1st down. Antonio Cromartie, number 31. He was
:48:43. > :48:59.guilty of holding. Indianapolis brought pressure that
:49:00. > :49:06.time one man coverage. Able to pick up the 1st down. Jacksonville making
:49:07. > :49:11.some noise offensively. Bortles throwing again. Stepping up. This
:49:12. > :50:04.the tackler, up inside the 35. Bortles. Flag from the defensive
:50:05. > :50:10.secondary. Penalty on D'Qwell Jackson for the hit on Robinson.
:50:11. > :50:17.Player safety being a big emphasis in the National Football League.

:18:09. > :18:15.going on Monday. They may show this as a comedy on the plane. Absolutely
:18:16. > :18:21.no match for Callum Robinson so far. Holding calls, pass interference. He
:18:22. > :18:28.has been in the mix, Allen Ronson took a pretty tough it as well. --
:18:29. > :18:34.Allen Robinson. Wow. He got stuck by number 52. I love to see stuff like
:18:35. > :18:39.that. I am all about receivers getting hit. That is a tough one
:18:40. > :18:46.where the reason it is a penalty is basically helmet to helmet. He has
:18:47. > :18:50.not got much choice. He is coming in to hit him here, he is not aiming at
:18:51. > :18:57.the helmet. Because Robinson was going down there was contact. I do
:18:58. > :19:01.not understand, as a defender, and the guy goes down even further,
:19:02. > :19:06.where are you supposed to go? On the fly you cannot adjust yourself. We
:19:07. > :19:12.understand why these tours are coming in to protect players but
:19:13. > :19:16.difficult to get the balance right. Nobody wants to see head injuries,
:19:17. > :19:20.or concussions. But right here what are you supposed to do? He ducks
:19:21. > :19:28.down, the defenders bringing him down. Jackson has no chance but to
:19:29. > :19:32.hit him. The initial contact was actually on the shoulder. Then his
:19:33. > :19:35.head comes along. Rough penalty. They were lucky in the sense that
:19:36. > :19:44.Robinson got up and said something to him and they called the
:19:45. > :19:46.unsportsmanlike. The other thing with the passing difference, really
:19:47. > :19:54.stupid roughing penalty as well on the last drive. You have to play
:19:55. > :19:58.smart football. This game requires situation of thinking. Speaking of
:19:59. > :20:03.that, let's see they've Bortles in the red zone. Smart play. Little
:20:04. > :20:08.play-action fake and he goes around, that option has become so famous in
:20:09. > :20:11.the NFL in the last couple of years. Blake Bortles is an outstanding
:20:12. > :20:17.athlete and they need to do this kind of thing with him because he
:20:18. > :20:26.can throw and make the run. You can see number 55, Sio Moore goes inside
:20:27. > :20:30.the trap and he -- outside the tight end and he gets trapped. S the first
:20:31. > :20:37.time I have seen that in three years where there was no penalty.
:20:38. > :20:44.Consistency is the problem. So if there is another fiddly call then
:20:45. > :20:49.they will be asked why they didn't call that one. Andrew Luck getting a
:20:50. > :20:55.lot of punishment once again. We have talked about how he is the
:20:56. > :21:00.franchise, the biggest paid star in you felt that they are not
:21:01. > :21:03.protecting him. The offensive line letting him down as usual. Over the
:21:04. > :21:10.last couple of years they have let him down a lot. Play-action, nowhere
:21:11. > :21:16.to go, no time to execute a fake. Joe Haden had his arm around the
:21:17. > :21:22.neck of the pass rush and still could not sell him. Gus Jones oh
:21:23. > :21:28.giving the in-house, and I quite like a turnstile. They have to do a
:21:29. > :21:33.better job. Number 74 giving up the power rush. He is not as powerful as
:21:34. > :21:40.you would want left tackle to be. And Alualu go straight through. We
:21:41. > :21:44.talked about the Jaguars really investing heavily in their defense
:21:45. > :21:53.in terms of the draft and free agency. It hasn't paid off so far,
:21:54. > :21:56.but what they do next question mark do you anticipate the rookies will
:21:57. > :22:02.develop strongly through this season and they will be in better shape? If
:22:03. > :22:06.not he would have to invest in free agency which is where they have not
:22:07. > :22:17.done a good job. They need high price free agent offensive lineman.
:22:18. > :22:24.Ryan Kelly was their high-tech, now Joe Haden is to play because of the
:22:25. > :22:28.injury. -- Kelly was their highest pick. Now you are dealing not only
:22:29. > :22:32.with rookies and low picks that guys who were not intended to be there.
:22:33. > :22:40.They have to make it easier for Luck. I really think they have got
:22:41. > :22:51.to involve TY Hilton more. They need to run Haque as much as possible.
:22:52. > :22:59.Communication key on the line. We want to talk to you about that.
:23:00. > :23:03.There is an increasing connection between the NFL and football as the
:23:04. > :23:06.game grows over happened recently we caught up with the Chelsea
:23:07. > :23:10.goalkeeping trio of Thibaut Courtois, Asmir Begovic and Eduardo
:23:11. > :23:19.to compare notes. Walking natch. We are here at the Chelsea training
:23:20. > :23:25.ground, I am not alone this week, I have my man Jason with me and we
:23:26. > :23:30.will meet three NFL fans. Let's see what the goalkeepers are made of.
:23:31. > :23:37.That is my position. I got it, what you talking about? For one game, in
:23:38. > :23:49.the 80s. Good to meet you. How are you. You guys all right? You are
:23:50. > :23:53.big, man! I'm huge fan. The Pats. Let's get that out of the way right
:23:54. > :23:59.away. The conversation was going well. I thought we were going to be
:24:00. > :24:09.OK. Why the Patriots? Tom Brady. You are from Portugal. Eu falo
:24:10. > :24:19.Portugues. My families from Angola. Who are
:24:20. > :24:24.you? I learn something new about you every day. My name is as well. I am
:24:25. > :24:34.from Portugal! Hand-pass click. Bucannon though the
:24:35. > :25:04.farthest. -- can't, pass, My practice ones were very good. Are
:25:05. > :25:10.you a soccer fan? I am Nigerian. Who is your team? I do not have one,
:25:11. > :25:18.actually. I just like the players. I'm a fan of Abramovich. So
:25:19. > :25:30.Vertonghen the other day? The little spin move. I saw that this week.
:25:31. > :25:35.Don't ever do that again. Have you not even thrown in the backyard?
:25:36. > :25:46.LAUGHTER The last throw I do. That is good,
:25:47. > :26:06.lock further than me. You have hands. Too high! You are tricky.
:26:07. > :26:10.Don't let the Portuguese down. The league is always looking for
:26:11. > :26:15.quarterbacks. We play each other next Friday, the national teams. It
:26:16. > :26:21.is called, that avoid those. Team-mates one day.
:26:22. > :26:44.You keep the thing! Don't do that again! You cannot all get hurt.
:26:45. > :26:53.Valuable finger. Oh yes. Nice. There is some talent right there. The
:26:54. > :27:02.scores are in. Eduardo, 133. Begovic, 120. Courtois, the winner,
:27:03. > :27:08.139. It was a good game. You did very well. Thanks for having us.
:27:09. > :27:22.Don't let him throw again! I'm delighted that Sam Quek, Olympic
:27:23. > :27:26.gold medallist, has dropped by. Firstly congratulations after your
:27:27. > :27:30.fantastic summer, I guess your head is still away with the gold-medal or
:27:31. > :27:35.have you come back down to earth? This month has been the best month
:27:36. > :27:38.of my life. Obviously the dream of winning a medal but since coming
:27:39. > :27:41.back, the whole of the UK and throughout the world as we have seen
:27:42. > :27:46.today, everybody has been so supportive. Seeing the pictures of
:27:47. > :27:53.Holly putting it in. I have goose bumps. It has been an awesome month.
:27:54. > :28:00.And congratulations on that. You are a big NFL fan. Kansas City Chiefs.
:28:01. > :28:05.Quite unusual. We don't meet many. Not the most fashionable team.
:28:06. > :28:13.Definitely. One of the games last year I went to was the Chiefs, I
:28:14. > :28:19.love the fans, I love the chop... But I also have a soft spot for
:28:20. > :28:23.Andrew Luck, great quarterback. Bit disappointed today. We have the
:28:24. > :28:28.opportunity to take the game by the scruff of the neck. Top player. But
:28:29. > :28:36.his offensive line by letting him down. A lot of people talking about
:28:37. > :28:54.Moncrief, losing bad option. They still have Gore through the middle.
:28:55. > :28:58.And the TY. In the first half Frank Gore moved up behind Jim Brown in
:28:59. > :29:05.ninth place. Only 30 yards to overtake him. How do the Colts get
:29:06. > :29:12.back into this one? I think Andrew like us to come out after half and
:29:13. > :29:15.have a word. Defensively the Colts have been one of the worst and if
:29:16. > :29:19.they continue that you are looking at the Jags to exploit that by
:29:20. > :29:22.sorting out their running game. They have smashed that opened today.
:29:23. > :29:31.Already passed the average this season. Great Bortles exploiting the
:29:32. > :29:35.defense. They have to back of their ideas. So much pressure on the Jags
:29:36. > :29:40.coming into this game and everybody talking about Gus Bradley, playing
:29:41. > :29:48.to save his job. If he gets the chance to carry on there is so much
:29:49. > :29:56.potential. Absolutely it is a young team. But it is a crunch game for
:29:57. > :30:01.both teams. I was reading up, for 18 to make the playoffs, in 1992 it was
:30:02. > :30:09.the Chargers. Crunch game, almost a semifinal. Big personal question.
:30:10. > :30:17.Would you trade your gold-medal for a Super Bowl ring? The one-time I
:30:18. > :30:23.did have a small thought, Sam, what are you doing? I swapped it back.
:30:24. > :30:37.Diplomatically answered! Did you manage to catch the game you are at?
:30:38. > :30:41.It is on the agenda soon. Thomas is taking me out soon to catch two
:30:42. > :30:47.games, which is very nice of him. Smile on his face! What you don't
:30:48. > :30:55.know is that Tom is a huge Ravens fan and it happens to fall on a
:30:56. > :30:59.Ravens game! What about the future of the game over here? Serious times
:31:00. > :31:03.at the moment. Can you see a franchise one day? I would love to
:31:04. > :31:07.see a franchise. I'm a huge Kansas City fan but if the Jags came over,
:31:08. > :31:13.there is obviously a lot of talk about that... Being a GB hockey
:31:14. > :31:16.player I would obviously have to support my GB team. It sounds
:31:17. > :31:20.terrible to swap allegiances so easily, but you would have two, I
:31:21. > :31:24.think! Them being in London would only make the game bigger. Thanks
:31:25. > :31:29.very much, thank you for coming in. Let's get back to the second half.
:31:30. > :31:36.The drops in that first half, to focus you have to watch that ball
:31:37. > :31:41.come into your hands. We must have talked about that for at least a
:31:42. > :31:45.minute. He was very frustrated about losing those opportunities. Also to
:31:46. > :31:49.note that Antonio Cromartie had a shoulder injury in the first half.
:31:50. > :31:55.He did return to play but it is a state is to keep an eye on. TJ
:31:56. > :32:01.Yeldon down short of the 1st down. Penalty marker thrown onto the field
:32:02. > :32:04.of play. It looked like from up here that he had a facemask on that play
:32:05. > :32:09.and there was no flag until the very end. Official from the far side of
:32:10. > :32:28.the field. REFEREE: There is no down foul, 3rd
:32:29. > :32:33.down. I just want her to know all of our crew says congratulations, hold
:32:34. > :32:38.up the hand, Jamie! I know, thank you! Very lucky, very happy to be
:32:39. > :32:45.here in London. Jamie and her now fiance, Sam. He is here. Pass
:32:46. > :32:50.downfield, incomplete! Intended for Allen Robinson.
:32:51. > :33:00.Led keep it clean guys, focus on the game! Congratulations. Thank you
:33:01. > :33:03.all, I appreciate it. Allen Robinson came that close to making the
:33:04. > :33:24.grabbed. Vontae Davis covering. So, it's Jacksonville with short
:33:25. > :33:32.yardage from their homes 38. Bortles, on the move. Marqise Lee
:33:33. > :33:36.across midfield and out of bounds. Another good chunk of yardage for
:33:37. > :33:40.the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are looking a bit more like the team
:33:41. > :33:46.their fans expected coming out of the gates this year. With league
:33:47. > :33:50.coming behind the line of scrimmage, he gets bossed by the defense and
:33:51. > :33:53.once again Bortles is on the move, showing great accuracy. 13 yards on
:33:54. > :34:08.the 1st down. Ivory in the back ivory with the
:34:09. > :34:16.handoff. Clear for about an eight yard pick-up to the 48-yard line.
:34:17. > :34:20.Patrick Robinson making the stop. Chris Ivory in a career-high 166
:34:21. > :34:26.yards rushing when he was a member of the Jets against Miami last
:34:27. > :34:30.season. We keep talking about balance on offense for the Jaguars
:34:31. > :34:33.but give credit to the offensive coordinator Greg Olson for the way
:34:34. > :34:38.he has mixed things up, moving Bortles around in the pocket. He is
:34:39. > :34:43.running the run game both inside and out, continuing to cause problems
:34:44. > :34:51.for the Colts defensively. Bortles on the move again, hits his man, and
:34:52. > :34:54.over the 30-yard line. Rashad Greene, second year wide receiver
:34:55. > :35:00.from Florida State. Another example of a hard play fake, fake one
:35:01. > :35:05.direction and have Bortles roll-out the other direction. Ivory gets the
:35:06. > :35:11.defense flowing. Rashad Greene outflanked the defense. It looked
:35:12. > :35:19.like Bortles had his tongue hanging out there.
:35:20. > :35:32.Bortles... Lost that one. Incomplete pass.
:35:33. > :35:40.It will be 2nd 10. Sometimes as a quarterback you want to have a
:35:41. > :35:44.string on the football. That time you tried pulling it back, you see
:35:45. > :35:48.his arm come forward, he tries the stop and the ball just squirts out.
:35:49. > :35:50.That is considered an incomplete pass and since the ball is moving
:35:51. > :35:58.forward. Bortles so far the day ten of 17, 96
:35:59. > :36:18.yards with a touchdown. This is Alan You're so accustomed when talking
:36:19. > :36:21.about these two quarterbacks and these two offenses that you're going
:36:22. > :36:25.to have a lot of throwing yards and everything will be up in the air.
:36:26. > :36:29.Everything will be in the 300 yard range when the game ends. Right now
:36:30. > :36:33.Jacksonville has shown great patients with their play calling and
:36:34. > :36:34.have great balance in terms of number of yards through the air and
:36:35. > :36:48.rushing. 3rd 5, four Bortles. But across the middle and it is
:36:49. > :36:57.incomplete, in and out of the arms of the intended receiver, Robinson.
:36:58. > :37:00.By Vontae Davis. Both these teams arrived late this week, that
:37:01. > :37:05.surprised me, they both came in Friday morning. There was a time
:37:06. > :37:08.when teams would come over as soon as is to get acclamation to a new
:37:09. > :37:12.schedule, get the body clock in the right frame. Jacksonville have tried
:37:13. > :37:17.a few different things. They came early in the week, they came late.
:37:18. > :37:20.They kept the same schedule this year and Indianapolis has talked to
:37:21. > :37:30.a number of different teams have tried the same schedule. Jake Myers
:37:31. > :37:34.from 36 yards out, perfect. They tag on three more.
:37:35. > :37:42.There is a man who is actually stood out there, Ade Akinfenwa! Last time
:37:43. > :37:48.you were here you were scoring a penalty right from that spot. Yeah,
:37:49. > :37:53.good times, good memories. I was a bit nervous but managed to score.
:37:54. > :37:58.I've got good memories of this place. You, nervous?
:37:59. > :38:02.LAUGHTER Well, maybe not nervous, but I have
:38:03. > :38:07.got good memories of this place. A good weekend to come and watch the
:38:08. > :38:12.football? Yeah, nice. Scored yesterday, nice little celebration
:38:13. > :38:17.which seems like it's gone viral. But yeah, it's nice. I'm here
:38:18. > :38:21.enjoying it off the back of scoring and getting three points. It's been
:38:22. > :38:27.good. Remind us of the celebration? LAUGHTER
:38:28. > :38:31.You are a Giants fan, aren't you? For one of the most powerful men in
:38:32. > :38:35.sport... Yeah, I am, looking forward to the game against the Rams in a
:38:36. > :38:42.couple of weeks. I've also met Allen Hurns in Orlando this year, so I am
:38:43. > :38:46.supporting the Jags here and they are winning. Hopefully they will win
:38:47. > :38:51.and the Rams will win. He's been trying to get you into the game as
:38:52. > :38:54.well. Will we see you out there soon? Yeah, man, I stood up against
:38:55. > :38:59.a few of them, I think I could take a few of them! You're going
:39:00. > :39:04.quarterback, yeah? LAUGHTER
:39:05. > :39:09.I'm telling you, I got this! Super Bowl I day? I don't know about that!
:39:10. > :39:19.May be, never! Who are you going for in this game? Jags. They are 20-6 up
:39:20. > :39:23.at the moment and looking good. That move again? I've got this, I've got
:39:24. > :39:38.this, I've got this. Triple threat! The Colts owner Jim are probably not
:39:39. > :39:42.in the best frame of mind he's been in this season. His team down 20-6
:39:43. > :39:46.on the scoreboard. The way you have to look at it if you are the Colts,
:39:47. > :39:55.it's only a two possession game here. Just outside the end zone.
:39:56. > :40:24.Forward to about the 28-yard line. So, Frank Gore is in the backfield
:40:25. > :40:30.and now is about the time we would seek Andrew Luck start something.
:40:31. > :40:35.This is Frank Gore. He has been solid on the ground. Indianapolis in
:40:36. > :40:40.the first had less than 100 yards of total offense even though Frank Gore
:40:41. > :40:43.was running the football well. Just the passing game they haven't been
:40:44. > :40:54.able to have much success. Net passing yards in the first half,
:40:55. > :40:59.only 22 yards. Luke Joeckel, the left guard for the Jaguars, was
:41:00. > :41:05.injured in the first half and out for the rest of the game. Frank Gore
:41:06. > :41:16.again, and this time he stacked up pretty good. Close to giving that
:41:17. > :41:22.1st down, just came up a yard short and the marker. Two yards now.
:41:23. > :41:27.Another thing I thought was really interesting when we were talking
:41:28. > :41:32.with Andrew Luck, who calls the signals on the offensive lineman? He
:41:33. > :41:38.said that Ryan Kelly, the rookie center, did, with some help from
:41:39. > :41:43.Andrew. You have to think that will have an effect on him.
:41:44. > :41:54.Luck, on the move, under pressure. His needed not hit that serve and he
:41:55. > :41:55.completes it to Jack Doyle down the sideline! Doyle, bumped out inside
:41:56. > :42:16.the 15 by Prince -- print Paul Posluszny appears to sack. It
:42:17. > :42:23.looks like that left knee does go down. The Colts are trying to get a
:42:24. > :42:32.quick snap. The Colts have challenged it. The flag is down at
:42:33. > :42:37.the 14-yard line. The Colts did the right thing by running up to the
:42:38. > :42:41.wall and trying to get it snapped. Jacksonville is challenging the
:42:42. > :42:45.ruling on the field. The quarterback was knocked down by contact. Andrew
:42:46. > :42:49.Luck was yelling to the Colts bench as he came down field. They will
:42:50. > :42:54.take a look at it and we will be right back in a moment.
:42:55. > :43:02.Incidentally, sometimes you will hear some pauses in the audio, that
:43:03. > :43:05.is because we have to avoid indirect commercial -- direct commercial
:43:06. > :43:16.references here on the BBC. One or two will creep in but not too many,
:43:17. > :43:23.I promise. Quite a lot for you, Osi. We will talk about Jack Doyle in a
:43:24. > :43:29.bid with Dallas Clark. How do you fancy the New York Giants's playoff
:43:30. > :43:34.chances this year, Osi? Very good. They look very good defensively.
:43:35. > :43:39.Swerts -- they spent $200 million on defense. If those guys play up to
:43:40. > :43:42.their potential I think in the long run Philadelphia will run out of
:43:43. > :43:46.gas. I think over the long haul they will be able to get into the
:43:47. > :43:50.playoffs. Talk about picking up players in free agency, doesn't
:43:51. > :43:54.always work. We've seen some big names who haven't always lived up to
:43:55. > :43:57.their price tag. That is what people looked at this batch of players and
:43:58. > :44:00.thought OK, the ceiling is high, but they all have to come together.
:44:01. > :44:07.Exactly, they brought young players in. A lot of the time you see them
:44:08. > :44:11.going for players at the end of their careers but they have brought
:44:12. > :44:14.in a lot of guys in their prime. The one that has impressed me, and you
:44:15. > :44:18.can argue that all three of the guys they paid big money for in defense
:44:19. > :44:22.had better players around them taking the pressure off, but

:43:08. > :43:19.Earlier in the game, Jalen Ramsey was... Watch as he drops back, his
:43:20. > :43:23.eyes are going to be looking back in Andrew Luck. What happens if he
:43:24. > :43:28.falls off on this corner route and he lets the post go. He's trying to
:43:29. > :43:32.fall off. He nearly got the interception on the first half on
:43:33. > :43:41.the play. The Colts came back to it at the right time. This time the
:43:42. > :43:43.Colts took advantage. Vinatieri once again makes it a 4-point game with
:43:44. > :44:01.3.03 to play in the fourth. Andrew Luck fired up and he's right
:44:02. > :44:04.to be. That quick score is the best thing that could have happened to
:44:05. > :44:08.him because now you have that time back and instead of having to use up
:44:09. > :44:13.three or four minutes to get a touchdown... That is what
:44:14. > :44:16.Jacksonville were trying to do, keeping everything in front. They
:44:17. > :44:19.went to that play from the first half and they were hoping that
:44:20. > :44:25.Ramsey would do the same thing that he did, sure enough he was caught
:44:26. > :44:30.looking back at the quarterback and that advantage over the top. Andrew
:44:31. > :44:34.has been able to share with us in meetings some of his fond memories
:44:35. > :44:41.of growing up over here, not only in London but in Germany when his dad
:44:42. > :44:45.was the head of World League NFL Europe. He was excited to be here.
:44:46. > :44:49.He says he comes back a lot in the offseason but this is his first time
:44:50. > :44:58.playing here. It is nothing new for him! There is a Frankfurt Galaxy
:44:59. > :45:05.sign and a jersey, right there. Corey Grant is deep. Once again the
:45:06. > :45:08.Colts are within three and now it will be on the defense. Shortcake,
:45:09. > :45:14.just inside the ten. -- short kick. Out to about the
:45:15. > :45:36.18-yard line. What do they do on offense? You need
:45:37. > :45:41.to make them use up the time-outs and do not let them get the ball
:45:42. > :45:45.back. There is the four-minute offense where you are trying to
:45:46. > :45:49.drain the clock. If you are going to make throws make sure the receiver
:45:50. > :45:56.is inbounds and they are short and accurate throws. You ultimately want
:45:57. > :46:02.them to use their time-outs. Complete to Arrelious Benn. That was
:46:03. > :46:15.terrible, two yards, and you run out of bounds. Not only do you not force
:46:16. > :46:19.them to take time out that you also only get one yard. A lot of
:46:20. > :46:22.disappointment in this young season for Jacksonville, they feel they
:46:23. > :46:30.should have beaten Green Bay and Baltimore.
:46:31. > :46:42.The handoff to Yeldon. We get the time-out.
:46:43. > :46:47.Fourth quarter with all of the scoring we have seen, Indianapolis
:46:48. > :46:59.of course trying to make the time-out. And ultimately Luck over
:47:00. > :47:10.the top to Dorsett. Four touchdowns here in the fourth quarter. The
:47:11. > :47:16.crucial mistake, back to that 1st down play, now the Colts can use the
:47:17. > :47:24.time-out and then they have the two-minute warning. If they are able
:47:25. > :47:37.to keep Jacksonville the the 1st down. This is huge for the Jaguars.
:47:38. > :47:50.Bortles has it knocked down at the line of scrimmage. Kendall Langford.
:47:51. > :47:59.Worst case scenario right there for Jacksonville. The fans say they have
:48:00. > :48:04.seen this before this year. Some tough losses, that early-season loss
:48:05. > :48:12.to Green Bay and a tough one to Baltimore a week ago. Jedinak is now
:48:13. > :48:20.going to have quite a bit of time with the two-minute warning and two
:48:21. > :48:33.time-outs. Booming kick by Norton. It bounces and rolling into the end
:48:34. > :48:38.zone for the touchback. -- Norseman. You only need a field goal from
:48:39. > :48:57.Vinatieri to get into overtime but plenty of time for the score.
:48:58. > :49:03.Interesting to see what the Colts offense will look like in this final
:49:04. > :49:08.two and a half minutes. They stay with the no-huddle, I do not
:49:09. > :49:14.necessarily think you have to go with two minute mode just because of
:49:15. > :49:19.the clock. Last-minute touchdown pass last week to beat the Chargers.
:49:20. > :49:25.Flip to Ferguson but he is dragged down. Just short of the 20-yard
:49:26. > :49:29.line. By Malik Jackson. I think they need to hurry-up more than they are
:49:30. > :49:33.right now. Everybody walking to the line of scrimmage like they have got
:49:34. > :49:38.plenty of time. That little bit more sense of urgency.
:49:39. > :49:45.Luck over the middle and he has his man across the 40-yard line, Chester
:49:46. > :50:03.Rodgers. They should be running out there. Two minutes to play.
:50:04. > :50:08.There is an unstoppable army making things happen and they are doing it

:50:24. > :50:29.hero for BBC sports personality of the year.
:50:30. > :50:38.STUDIO: Game on and I have had the privilege of spending the last five
:50:39. > :50:42.or six minutes hearing these two raking down that touchdown in
:50:43. > :50:45.detail. If you look at the way they are set up and you can see the rush
:50:46. > :50:52.coming, that is the key thing. Rushing the extra guy on the outside
:50:53. > :50:55.which means that they wind up into a messy coverage that has to be
:50:56. > :51:00.executed perfectly. The safety was supposed to take the outside
:51:01. > :51:06.receiver and Jalen Ramsey, rookie mistake, you have to take that fight
:51:07. > :51:10.all the way down the field. They caught him looking at the
:51:11. > :51:14.quarterback. Rookie mistake. What we are saying is if that is Seattle,
:51:15. > :51:19.which is what this is based on, Earl Thomas at safety comes right round
:51:20. > :51:25.to take the outside guy away without getting in and Richard Sherman runs
:51:26. > :51:28.stride for stride with the receiver, pushing him to the outside. If you
:51:29. > :51:31.complete the past it is going to have to go over his shoulder and
:51:32. > :51:36.over Richard Sherman but never give them the middle. But are you not
:51:37. > :51:41.entertain? Is this not why we are here? This one is far from over.
:51:42. > :51:51.When did this turn into a great game? About eight minutes ago.
:51:52. > :51:56.Amazing stuff. Destiny very much in their own hands. This is what the
:51:57. > :52:03.Jaguars need from their defense. Really big play coming up.
:52:04. > :52:15.COMMENTATOR: At once and they had a 17 point lead but the last three
:52:16. > :52:17.drives Koltsov scored touchdowns. Luck on the move, a bit too low for
:52:18. > :52:26.Ferguson to handle. Malik Jackson putting pressure on
:52:27. > :52:34.Andrew Luck hitting him as he was throwing. With the time-outs, they
:52:35. > :52:38.could utilise the whole film. Yes you want to go and win this game but
:52:39. > :52:45.also you have the best kicker in the game right now, 33 consecutive field
:52:46. > :52:47.goal from Adam Vinatieri. Jacksonville has all three time-outs
:52:48. > :53:02.remaining and the Colts have two. Luck. Throwing deep. Sideline,
:53:03. > :53:16.incomplete. Dorsett the intended receiver. 86,700 one hand here at
:53:17. > :53:22.when Stadium today. 3rd 10 goes without saying, four down territory.
:53:23. > :53:43.You do not need to get the entire chunk.
:53:44. > :53:54.Luck over the middle, complete and running out of bounds TY Hilton.
:53:55. > :54:08.About a yard short of fourth 1st down.
:54:09. > :54:15.Looked like it would be just short. If you are the Colts you rely on one
:54:16. > :54:19.of the best bags in NFL history, Frank Gore, to get that tough yard.
:54:20. > :54:27.Three of your five offensive lineman and rookies. Or do you spend? Frank
:54:28. > :54:33.Gore is the sideline. Josh Ferguson is in the backfield. Bacca. He
:54:34. > :54:48.throws it, incomplete at the 40-yard line. He had a receiver to his left
:54:49. > :54:53.on the near sideline. Look at the Jacksonville sideline. I think that
:54:54. > :54:59.is probably the thing going through some peoples minds, why is Frank
:55:00. > :55:02.Gore not in the game to get that tough yard? Instead they go with the
:55:03. > :55:06.past and Andrew Luck 's debts up out of pocket and looks like he has
:55:07. > :55:13.Dwayne Allen for the 1st down. Johnson able to knock it away at the
:55:14. > :55:18.last second. Jacksonville takes over at their own 49-yard line. They are
:55:19. > :55:25.beginning to feel it on the Jaguars' sideline. If Allen had not appeared
:55:26. > :55:30.to be so wide open Andrew Luck could even have run for the 1st down. As
:55:31. > :55:33.he stepped up and started sliding it would likely just flashed in front
:55:34. > :55:44.of him, there was Allen in his window. With two time-outs... Tyson
:55:45. > :55:49.Alualu in as a blocking black -- blocking
:55:50. > :55:55.-- Tyson Alualu in as a blocking back in the backfield. Zach Kerr
:55:56. > :56:02.makes the stock. Time-out on the field. You will see Luck steps up in
:56:03. > :56:11.the pocket, and you can see how wide open by Tallon was. You can see how
:56:12. > :56:16.upset Andrew Luck is. You step up in that pocket and the flashes in front
:56:17. > :56:20.of your face. It appears he could have took off and got the 1st down
:56:21. > :56:24.but when you have someone that wide open, Johnson not giving up on the
:56:25. > :56:45.play. Not quitting on the play. Tremendous play.
:56:46. > :57:04.Yeldon. Losing even more yardage. The Colts using their third and
:57:05. > :57:12.final time-out. Save the next play takes even five seconds, seven
:57:13. > :57:19.seconds, to make it easier maths. Indianapolis is going to have about
:57:20. > :57:25.40 seconds, maybe just under, depending on what happens on the
:57:26. > :57:28.punt return. Let's give it 35 seconds to try to get into position
:57:29. > :57:35.that they will not have any time-outs. I will be one better, the
:57:36. > :57:39.Jaguars throw it here? I think you have got to run it and use of the
:57:40. > :57:47.clock although I like the way you think, I like that aggressiveness.
:57:48. > :57:53.You see I hesitated? Yeldon. He will get it back to about original line
:57:54. > :57:58.of scrimmage. It will be forced down, the Loch clock continues to
:57:59. > :58:08.move. They did that perfectly. Seven seconds on the play. You think I
:58:09. > :58:12.worked that out with you. Jacksonville does have some
:58:13. > :58:17.time-outs or they could even take the penalty. It is not based on
:58:18. > :58:24.where the ball is. Trying to pin them down? There is no one back for
:58:25. > :58:32.the Colts. They are coming after the punter. I do not necessarily agree
:58:33. > :58:47.with that. Now the ball can bounce around. In the living, offense. The
:58:48. > :58:52.ball can literally bounce for ten or 12 seconds until it comes to rest.
:58:53. > :58:55.They are not fit to move the play dead. What he does not want to do is
:58:56. > :59:15.put it into the end zone in a hurry. He got it away. It will come down.
:59:16. > :59:21.Between the 15 and 20. Rolling around on bouncing around. It comes
:59:22. > :59:28.to rest with 26 seconds on the clock. That ball hit around 33
:59:29. > :59:41.seconds, about six or seven seconds went off the clock. 26 seconds, no
:59:42. > :59:51.time-outs. Adam Vinatieri, author of 33 straight field goals. Eight in a
:59:52. > :59:55.row from 50 or more yards. Some big chunks there and you have got to
:59:56. > :00:00.stop the club, if you get a big chunk over the middle you have to do
:00:01. > :00:04.it on this first place so you can clock the ball after that. Luck hit
:00:05. > :00:21.as he released it and Ferguson out of bounds. Not a big game.
:00:22. > :00:27.2nd 8, 19 seconds on the clock. Jacksonville relying on their front
:00:28. > :00:31.four to put some pressure on, keep everything in front of them.
:00:32. > :00:50.Luck needs 43 yards to get into Adam Vinatieri's field goal range. Marx
:00:51. > :01:04.made the tackle. Andrew Luck spikes the ball with two
:01:05. > :01:08.seconds remaining. Well, what happens with that is, you have all
:01:09. > :01:16.the guys down the field have two sprint all the way back. Luck
:01:17. > :01:27.stepping up into the pocket. Marks getting blocked but he is able to
:01:28. > :01:34.slide off. So, the last play of this game, one way or another. Unless of
:01:35. > :01:42.course some weird circumstance gives us another. Luck, over the middle,
:01:43. > :01:53.and a handoff. The loose ball is picked up. And that will do it! The
:01:54. > :01:58.Jacksonville Jaguars, in their home away from home, Wembley Stadium,
:01:59. > :02:04.notched their first victory of the season.
:02:05. > :02:11.Both teams were kind of dragging along there for three quarters and
:02:12. > :02:13.then all of a sudden the fourth quarter came and it was a battle of
:02:14. > :02:35.two young quarterbacks. Bortles, 1933 with no interceptions.
:02:36. > :02:36.-- 19 of 33. The final up next. So long from London. You have been
:02:37. > :02:42.watching the NFL. STUDIO
:02:43. > :02:47.There we go, then. The Jacksonville Jaguars kept everybody on their toes
:02:48. > :02:53.but they got the win and finally can kick-start their season. Absolutely,
:02:54. > :02:58.Jacksonville should play all their games here because they win here!
:02:59. > :03:05.They showed a two Mendis amount of courage here, battling back. Usually
:03:06. > :03:09.a young team capitulate here. Remember when I said I had picked
:03:10. > :03:13.Indianapolis because they know how to finish off games when they had
:03:14. > :03:15.the lead and they had shown that, and Jacksonville actually looked
:03:16. > :03:19.like they were going to do the same thing they had done and collapsed in
:03:20. > :03:25.the fourth quarter. They put together a great play at the end and
:03:26. > :03:29.kept the game alive and the Colts were the ones who couldn't finish it
:03:30. > :03:36.off. Let's take a look at the stats and the tail of this game.
:03:37. > :03:43.3rd down conversions critical, it has been a problem for Jacksonville
:03:44. > :03:47.all season long. A remarkable statistic there. Over 50% for the
:03:48. > :03:53.Colts but it didn't count for anything. Big game on the ground for
:03:54. > :03:57.Jacksonville which is exactly what they needed. Only one turnover for
:03:58. > :04:02.the Colts. Caroline is chatting with Sen'Derrick Marks. What a moment at
:04:03. > :04:07.the end, that was a big hit. Yes, that was a great play, we work they
:04:08. > :04:11.lot on that place. I know you've got a big heart but how important was it
:04:12. > :04:16.to get that win? Nervous towards the end? It was important because it was
:04:17. > :04:22.a divisional game, not only a conference game. We need to win them
:04:23. > :04:29.to compete. We have to execute our game plan. I know there's been talk
:04:30. > :04:32.about wanting to move this London match to earlier in the season
:04:33. > :04:36.because of how well you do after this.
:04:37. > :04:41.CHUCKLES I think that's an organisation
:04:42. > :04:45.thing. As players, we have to go out there and play whenever our number
:04:46. > :04:53.is called and we did today. Week came here to win. Onto the Bears.
:04:54. > :04:58.You have the break now, how important is that? It's always
:04:59. > :05:00.important to get a break as a professional athlete, give your time
:05:01. > :05:06.to heal, get away from the sport, get around your family and let
:05:07. > :05:10.football go. You can go to it refreshed. Safe journey home, thanks
:05:11. > :05:16.for joining us. Thanks very much indeed, Caroline. The Colts had the
:05:17. > :05:21.opportunity to tie the game and go on to win it, but they blew it, or
:05:22. > :05:25.did he Jacksonville Jaguars win it? Let's look at that 4th down play
:05:26. > :05:30.again. It's a tough one. As the play breaks down, he could run for the
:05:31. > :05:35.1st down there with one or two steps and probably make it, but as you see
:05:36. > :05:40.here, the cat Allen coming across, he looks so open. It's just a great
:05:41. > :05:45.play by Geoff Johnson. He sees what's happening and he just extends
:05:46. > :05:52.a touch and get it. They're showing that they have a lack of confidence
:05:53. > :05:59.in that offensive lineman, not passing the ball on a fought and
:06:00. > :06:04.won. -- passing the ball. Caroline is with Allen Robinson. Alan, we saw
:06:05. > :06:09.you on the sidelines. Couldn't wait to celebrate with the team at the
:06:10. > :06:14.end. A big win. That was a big win for us, it would have been our first
:06:15. > :06:21.victory but also it hurts our opponent. We want to do well in the
:06:22. > :06:24.AFC South. So much has been said about the youth in this team. Did
:06:25. > :06:32.you need to keep your cool? For sure. We were in a similar situation
:06:33. > :06:36.like this over here at Wembley. We had to overcome a lot of odds and
:06:37. > :06:40.today fortunately we didn't give up the lead at all but we knew how to
:06:41. > :06:45.make plays down the stretch. A word down the camera to the Jags fans. We
:06:46. > :06:49.appreciate it, guys, thanks for making it feel like a home game. Big
:06:50. > :06:53.game for him once again at Wembley Stadium and he was the player that
:06:54. > :06:57.got things going. Of course the Jaguars were the first to get on the
:06:58. > :07:02.board. Let's take a look at the Jaguars's touchdowns in
:07:03. > :07:05.chronological order. After last week's game, Robinson is back in
:07:06. > :07:12.business. He was key, not just the touchdown here but he drew four of
:07:13. > :07:17.five penalties, holding or parted appearance. That kept drives alive
:07:18. > :07:25.and kept backing Indianapolis up. That sets up Blake Bortles the next
:07:26. > :07:28.time with that touchdown run. Watch at the end there, Moore, he just
:07:29. > :07:32.commits himself and Bortles goes right around him. Blake Bortles
:07:33. > :07:38.doing it in the air and on the ground. He was the game winner last
:07:39. > :07:42.time around and stepped up when he needed to.
:07:43. > :07:54.Allen Hurns getting in on the act as well. If you watch it again, there
:07:55. > :08:00.is a missed tackle and there's like three guys overrunning the play. I
:08:01. > :08:07.like this block on 15. There you go. Who says it's not physical? You did!
:08:08. > :08:12.You're right, that was me! Blake Bortles, the liberating a big win
:08:13. > :08:16.for him. Let's check in with him. Blake, of all the pressures the team
:08:17. > :08:19.faced going into this game, you yourself said you couldn't take it
:08:20. > :08:22.too seriously. What was the difference maker for you today?
:08:23. > :08:25.Hearst and foremost we got the run game going and we were able to
:08:26. > :08:31.control the line of scrimmage. The guys played their tails off. It was
:08:32. > :08:34.fun, it was cool to see, it was cool to get back contract. Definitely
:08:35. > :08:39.something is to correct and get better. Speaking of those guys,
:08:40. > :08:43.Allen Hurns continues to be an underrated player in this league but
:08:44. > :08:49.he gets his first touchdown today. Walk us through that play. Yeah,
:08:50. > :08:57.it's awesome. The ball was supposed to go to A-Rob on the left and Allen
:08:58. > :09:03.Hurns was on the right one on one. He's an unbelievable player. Are you
:09:04. > :09:06.getting more comfortable here as you play more games? Definitely, it
:09:07. > :09:07.feels good to come over here and to win over here as well.
:09:08. > :09:21.Congratulations. Thank you. You can see action from all this
:09:22. > :09:27.weekend's games in NFL This Week on Tuesday.
:09:28. > :09:34.Our next live game, as we mentioned earlier, is the Giants versus the
:09:35. > :09:38.Rams on the 23rd of October from 2pm. Live from Twickenham. If you're
:09:39. > :09:42.a golf fan, there is continued coverage of the Ryder Cup on five
:09:43. > :09:47.live and the BBC Sport website right now. Bad news for the Colts vans and
:09:48. > :09:51.the Colts franchise generally, no team who has lost in London has ever
:09:52. > :09:55.made it to the postseason! LAUGHTER
:09:56. > :09:59.Now there's a good one! The Colts aren't taking a bye week either.
:10:00. > :10:04.That is a first, no team has ever done that before. They will play the
:10:05. > :10:10.Bears at home next Sunday. Interesting strategy. Because they
:10:11. > :10:14.would like the bye later on to recuperate but it is a risk. I use
:10:15. > :10:18.dill sticking to your answer of who's going to win the division?
