:00:08. > :00:19.It will be time for these two teams. He's going to fire towards the end

:00:20. > :00:32.zone! To the end zone, touchdown! Going deep! The wrecking Crew!

:00:33. > :00:38.Unbelievable! How did he do that? The Denver Broncos are world

:00:39. > :00:44.champions. Good evening and welcome to NFL this week, week two in our

:00:45. > :00:47.journey to the Super Bowl. I am joined by the former cornerback

:00:48. > :00:54.Jason Bell and former defensive linebacker Owen. The regular season

:00:55. > :00:59.stretches to 16 games so it is too early to start determining anything.

:01:00. > :01:04.Too early to jump the gun and claim a winner of this whole thing but it

:01:05. > :01:10.is good football and teams are equal right now. But going into week to

:01:11. > :01:14.nobody will want to be 0- two because only 12% of teens who have

:01:15. > :01:20.gone 0- two then make it to the playoffs. Absolutely. What do you

:01:21. > :01:25.mean absolutely? Did you know that statistic? I didn't, but what I do

:01:26. > :01:33.remember is being 0-2 and winning the Super Bowl. Yes, you were one of

:01:34. > :01:39.those 12%! But aside from that, is it hard to recover from that? It is

:01:40. > :01:47.hard to come back from that but the season is long and players know

:01:48. > :01:51.that. By the way, I heard that statistic on Redzone and didn't

:01:52. > :01:54.actually check it. We have a second show on Saturday night with all

:01:55. > :01:57.three of us including highlights of the Thursday night game between the

:01:58. > :02:04.Texans and the Patriots. So let's see how the Patriots got on when

:02:05. > :02:08.they hosted Miami Dolphins. No Tom Brady, he still suspended, all eyes

:02:09. > :02:11.were on his replacement Jimmy Graf low. But anybody can drop into this

:02:12. > :02:29.Patriots offense. COMMENTATOR: Second and drive,

:02:30. > :02:42.opening drive from the projects. Inside the five, to the end zone!

:02:43. > :02:52.Some of the criticism Garoppolo took was that he was not decisive with

:02:53. > :02:54.his decisions. Talking to Josh Brent Daniels, his performance last week

:02:55. > :03:01.was very decisive and we have seen that again. Over the middle, end

:03:02. > :03:16.zone, touchdown! Bennett, 20 yards, and the Patriots

:03:17. > :03:22.are on the board again. Under 13 and a half to play in the first half.

:03:23. > :03:32.Now Garoppolo on third and fourth. To the end zone for the touchdown!

:03:33. > :03:38.That young man, Garoppolo, has engineered touchdown drives of 75,

:03:39. > :03:47.75 and 70 six yards. He's five yards shy of firing over 200 and we are

:03:48. > :03:59.still in the first half. Ajayi in the backfield. Tannehill throws to

:04:00. > :04:07.the near side line. Lost the ball! And the Patriots are on it! Chris

:04:08. > :04:11.Long with the recovery! Makes the first defender miss as he's driving

:04:12. > :04:20.towards the 1st down and before his foot goes out of bounds the ball is

:04:21. > :04:25.stripped. Garoppolo under pressure. On the move, throws over the middle,

:04:26. > :04:34.got his man inside the 25-yard line. Malcolm Mitchell, the Rookie out of

:04:35. > :04:39.Georgia. He's feeling that one, Kiko Alonso on the hit. As he slides in

:04:40. > :04:45.the pocket he is able to escape. He avoids one, steps up, gets to the

:04:46. > :04:49.outside, Kiko Alonso 47. The pressure landed on his right

:04:50. > :04:54.shoulder. Not only his body weight but he had Alonso's body weight

:04:55. > :05:02.falling on my right shoulder. They are going to look at him and the

:05:03. > :05:11.back-up quarterback Jacobi Bridge starts to get loose. Watch all the

:05:12. > :05:18.pressure go on my right shoulder. A lot of pressure. You can see the

:05:19. > :05:23.amount of pain Jimmy Garoppolo is under. He will head down the tunnel

:05:24. > :05:30.and get some x-rays, I am sure STUDIO: Garoppolo's shoulder injury

:05:31. > :05:35.meant that he set out the rest of the match. There was better news

:05:36. > :05:39.when compound ski scored a field goal, but then the Dolphin scored

:05:40. > :05:48.one of their own from francs to make it 24-3 heading into half-time.

:05:49. > :05:51.STUDIO: Today we will talk about my favourite thing, pressuring a

:05:52. > :05:56.quarterback, and we will see somebody who is not accustomed to

:05:57. > :06:00.doing it. At third and 91 the front four giving pressure but watch what

:06:01. > :06:04.Miami Dolphins will do. They will bring pressure here and I want you

:06:05. > :06:10.to pay really special attention to the middle linebacker, Alonso,

:06:11. > :06:14.watched the special play he makes. Initially his job is to check and

:06:15. > :06:18.see whoever comes across the middle. He sees this man take that guy and

:06:19. > :06:24.now watch what he does here, like a heat-seeking missile, he's going to

:06:25. > :06:31.come straight to Garoppolo and watch him deliver this terrific hit to the

:06:32. > :06:37.quarterback, bang, knocked him down. Look at this! Don't pass go, do not

:06:38. > :06:43.collect $200, go straight down. And that was an incredible play by this

:06:44. > :06:49.case. Nothing makes me happier than seeing a court aback get hit like

:06:50. > :06:58.that, other than that Ella -- nothing makes me happier than seeing

:06:59. > :07:06.a quarterback get hit like that. On 1st down, Ajayi, lost the football,

:07:07. > :07:15.and followed on by the Patriots! Flowers. And the young quarterback

:07:16. > :07:24.Jacoby Brissett goes back to work. Play faked to him. Wide open on the

:07:25. > :07:42.far side, midfield and the races. Down the 30-yard line. 1st goal.

:07:43. > :07:47.Blount, right side, touchdown! Jacoby Brissett engineers the

:07:48. > :07:51.touchdown drive. All that optimism the Miami Dolphins had coming out of

:07:52. > :08:02.the locker room, they are now at 31-3. On 2nd 4, Tannehill for the

:08:03. > :08:05.end zone, got an open, touchdown! Kenny Stills, who dropped a short

:08:06. > :08:15.touchdown he week ago, holds onto this one on the 24 yards. Exactly

:08:16. > :08:20.what they needed. Had the turnover, that time able to finish the drive,

:08:21. > :08:30.get seven on the board for the first time today. We saw Adam Yates quite

:08:31. > :08:36.animated on the sideline, Tannehill looking, throwing, end zone, did you

:08:37. > :08:44.catch it? He caught it! Jordan Cameron, touchdown. It just depends

:08:45. > :08:51.what you think of their return team, if you think they are too good, you

:08:52. > :08:56.click through the end zone. Blount with a hurdle and extra yardage! Out

:08:57. > :09:02.to the 45-yard line. The size of Blount to get up, that's incredibly

:09:03. > :09:14.athletic, a man that size, and that was not a little hurdle, it was

:09:15. > :09:21.extra high. On 2nd 15, deep drop my lost the football! It is loose,

:09:22. > :09:25.who's got it? Still loose! Looks like it was covered by the Patriots

:09:26. > :09:35.back at the 40-yard line, James White diving on the ball. Second and

:09:36. > :09:43.fourth. Inside the five, looking for the end zone. Touchdown! Canyon

:09:44. > :09:49.Drake, the rookie out of Alabama. Got to tip your hat to Ryan

:09:50. > :09:53.Tannehill, 20 out of 21, two touchdowns and the one incompletion

:09:54. > :09:57.was the screen pass he saw developing and threw it into the

:09:58. > :10:01.dirt. I don't think you can do any better and he's got to keep it

:10:02. > :10:04.going. STUDIO: On the following Patriots possession they missed a

:10:05. > :10:11.field goal to give the Dolphin is a chance to tie the game late in the

:10:12. > :10:23.fourth quarter. COMMENTATOR: 2nd 10. Tannehill with time, going to

:10:24. > :10:30.pull it down and run, 45, 40, keeps his head up, inside the 35-yard

:10:31. > :10:39.line. 4th 5. Tannehill going for it all, to the end zone, Parker, and

:10:40. > :10:44.it is intercepted! Rough way for things to end in the second half for

:10:45. > :10:47.Ryan Tannehill. Strange to say but the huge advantage New England had

:10:48. > :10:53.in the first half, I think they are feeling like they survived. Good to

:10:54. > :11:00.win at home. I thought our team did a lot of things well today. The

:11:01. > :11:04.momentum shift at the end, start of the fourth quarter. In the end we

:11:05. > :11:10.made enough plays to win, just barely. But we'll take it. And we'll

:11:11. > :11:17.move on. Obviously a quick week here for Houston coming up, another real

:11:18. > :11:21.good football team. I think we got a lot of good performances from a lot

:11:22. > :11:24.of different people, offensive line, running game, receivers, both

:11:25. > :11:30.quarterbacks. The first and most important thing to say is that of a

:11:31. > :11:37.chocolate spreads are available. You can't just go around mentioning one

:11:38. > :11:41.brand. Other brands are available. As much as you like seeing a

:11:42. > :11:48.quarterback get hit, you must have some sympathy for Garoppolo? Yes, he

:11:49. > :11:52.was having an outstanding game, and dissecting the Miami Dolphins. To

:11:53. > :11:56.get hurt when you are having the game of your life, you have to feel

:11:57. > :12:02.sympathy. Jacoby Brissett comes in, and when you watch what he did when

:12:03. > :12:06.he came on, you can see that they had to reduce what the offense did

:12:07. > :12:10.to accommodate him? The first thing they had to do was let him get the

:12:11. > :12:15.ball out quick, get comfortable. Short, quick throws where he does

:12:16. > :12:19.not have to think a lot, get warmed up. People might understand that

:12:20. > :12:22.you'd have two shorter than that when he came on in this game, given

:12:23. > :12:26.that they play on Thursday do they have enough time to expand anything

:12:27. > :12:31.with him before the game with the Texans? They can't have enough time,

:12:32. > :12:35.only three days to prepare for this. Jacoby Brissett they were probably

:12:36. > :12:40.not expecting to play this year and now he has to go in at short notice

:12:41. > :12:44.but if anybody can get this done it will be Bill Belichick. That's what

:12:45. > :12:50.I was going to expand on with you. As you pointed out last week about

:12:51. > :12:53.his coaching abilities, he'll be able to simplify that playbook for

:12:54. > :12:57.Jacoby Brissett. And he always did a good job of doing the best thing for

:12:58. > :13:02.his team versus that opponent. And this is no other thing that he

:13:03. > :13:07.hasn't seen before, you'll plug him in and play. I guarantee he'll have

:13:08. > :13:12.a specific package, specific plays designed for this guy to execute and

:13:13. > :13:15.make him successful in this game. Nobody wants a player to get hurt

:13:16. > :13:21.but the ultimate for a defense must be to get the quarterback out of the

:13:22. > :13:25.game because he is the side's lead. You are trying to win so when you

:13:26. > :13:29.see the other team's quarterback go out you feel you have an advantage.

:13:30. > :13:33.Miami thought they had an advantage and try to get themselves back in.

:13:34. > :13:38.You never want to see anybody hurt but you want them out of your game.

:13:39. > :13:40.The quarterback is the head of the snake, if you chop off the head, the

:13:41. > :13:47.body falls. You know what it's like to hit a

:13:48. > :13:51.quarterback. I'm going to be kind to both of you, because you're on this

:13:52. > :13:57.list as well, remarkably! LAUGHTER

:13:58. > :14:05.Sacking a quarterback... You had other strengths, Jason! Look at

:14:06. > :14:14.that! We almost got fined for that! Can you described the feeling of

:14:15. > :14:18.hitting a quarterback? An described Bull! The quarterback is so pretty,

:14:19. > :14:23.so cute, they get paid the most money... Any time you get a chance

:14:24. > :14:29.to take a shot at a quarterback, you have to take it! -- indescribable!

:14:30. > :14:35.Did you share that sack? He got me! I needed that sack! As we've already

:14:36. > :14:40.mentioned, you can see highlights of the Patriot against the Texans this

:14:41. > :14:44.Saturday. We're going to start one of our week to round-ups with the

:14:45. > :14:50.Texans and their visit to the Kansas City Chiefs. It has gone very well

:14:51. > :14:55.thought Brock Osweiler so far and the Texans. Here was his 27 yard

:14:56. > :15:01.pass to Hopkins for that touchdown. Four field goals each league sides

:15:02. > :15:06.shared after that, the Texans winning 19-12. He's doing well,

:15:07. > :15:13.Brock Osweiler. $17 million, he must be doing well! That is a very good

:15:14. > :15:19.point! Last week's Thursday night game was the New York Jets and the

:15:20. > :15:27.Buffalo Bills. That Jets went 20-17 up. The Bills, as you will seek got

:15:28. > :15:30.themselves back into it. Rex Ryan is under pressure here, isn't he?

:15:31. > :15:36.Absolutely, completely under pressure. They had and owners play

:15:37. > :15:43.meeting and you never see that that tells you what kind of trouble Rex

:15:44. > :15:47.Ryan is in. Coaches aren't in that! They are the ones on the hot seat!

:15:48. > :15:55.The Jets pulled away in the fourth quarter. Matt Forte's four

:15:56. > :15:59.touchdowns, the Jets eventually winning 37-31. Pittsburgh Steelers

:16:00. > :16:03.continue their impressive start to the season. Ben Roethlisberger with

:16:04. > :16:12.that impressive pasta. Then watch this turn of speed, Jason! Look at

:16:13. > :16:15.that, slide! That led to another touchdown, a four yard touchdown

:16:16. > :16:19.pass to Williams. Pittsburgh's beating the Bengals. A difficult

:16:20. > :16:30.start for the Bengals. Cleveland here took a three touchdown lead

:16:31. > :16:35.against Baltimore. They will be Cleveland, though. You know what's

:16:36. > :16:38.coming! The fact that they took a three touchdown lead, as it

:16:39. > :16:44.highlight what their offense could be eventually? There's no doubt

:16:45. > :16:49.about that, if he had the right people in place the would-be winning

:16:50. > :16:53.games at Cleveland. They are 20 zip up at this stage and in the kick for

:16:54. > :16:58.the last Cleveland touchdown conversion is blocked and it is run

:16:59. > :17:03.back for two points by Young will stop even though that only takes it

:17:04. > :17:07.to 20-2, you go into the locker room thinking that could change

:17:08. > :17:11.everything. They're like, man, we seen this before. When you're a

:17:12. > :17:17.losing team, you're used to losing. Baltimore then fought back and as

:17:18. > :17:21.you say, maybe Cleveland knew what was coming, because in the end

:17:22. > :17:29.Baltimore won 25-20 against the Browns. It was the only 20 points

:17:30. > :17:34.they scored. It was, don't rub it in for them! New Orleans at the New

:17:35. > :17:38.York Giants. A scoreless first quarter. Second-quarter field goal

:17:39. > :17:43.blocked and returned by Jenkins. Were you surprised that this was

:17:44. > :17:47.such a low scoring game between the Saints and the Giants? I wasn't,

:17:48. > :17:52.because the Giants got their money 's worth for what they are paying

:17:53. > :17:55.for their defense. The Saints's defense has not been that good,

:17:56. > :18:01.though. They played surprisingly well in this game. They did play

:18:02. > :18:08.very well. Carolina got their season up and running. They were beaten at

:18:09. > :18:12.Denver on the opening day. Kelvin Benjamin and Cam Newton connected

:18:13. > :18:17.for two crucial third quarter touchdowns. He is a man mountain,

:18:18. > :18:27.Kelvin Benjamin. Wow! I just want you to see the block on Luke

:18:28. > :18:31.Keighley, there! Sound effects, a bit of Lionel Richie! But Carolina

:18:32. > :18:36.are up and running. They are, they're ready to go. Cam Newton,

:18:37. > :18:40.that is our new leader. You will have the deal time to argue about

:18:41. > :18:46.Cam Newton over the coming weeks. Next, the Tennessee Titans at the

:18:47. > :18:52.Detroit Lions. The Titans suffered a week one loss to the Vikings, while

:18:53. > :18:54.the Lions beat the Colts with eight seconds remaining. A fascinating

:18:55. > :18:58.matchup between two teams threatening to impress.

:18:59. > :19:04.COMMENTATOR: Penalty, Tennessee will start at the 5-yard line for this

:19:05. > :19:17.drive, no score in the opening quarter. Touchdown! A safety from

:19:18. > :19:21.Brian Stevens! John Coughlan just gets beaten right out of the ball.

:19:22. > :19:32.You're coming out of your end zone, you can't catch a defensive end in

:19:33. > :19:36.the NFL, you've got... 2nd 20. Rolling out to his left. To the end

:19:37. > :19:54.zone, touchdown! Anquan Boldin! On the ensuing Titans possession,

:19:55. > :19:56.they would hit a 46 yard field goal to cut the Lions's lead to 9-3 early

:19:57. > :20:13.in the second quarter. Stafford, fires, end zone! He has

:20:14. > :20:16.the touchdown if it stands. This is going against the Lions. Pass

:20:17. > :20:22.interference. 10-yard penalty. So, 1st goal, back at the 11-yard

:20:23. > :20:32.line. Stafford in the middle, touchdown!

:20:33. > :20:52.Anquan Boldin reels them in. Offense, number 72. That is the

:20:53. > :20:58.third Lions called back today because of a penalty. The penalties

:20:59. > :21:01.forced the Lions to settle for a 42 yard field goal from Matt Prater to

:21:02. > :21:06.make it 12-3 heading into half-time. Play action, and it is picked off!

:21:07. > :21:31.Clover Quinn with the interception! It is a roll-out. All of his action

:21:32. > :21:45.is going to the right side. Mariota, his action pulls Quinn that way,

:21:46. > :21:51.right into the throw. Stafford... Stafford, not so gracefully, goes

:21:52. > :21:56.down after a gain of 24! Nobody talks about the mobility of Matthew

:21:57. > :22:00.Stafford. They won't be talking about the grace of him either, but

:22:01. > :22:05.what a great job, sits in the soft spot. Five minutes later, Matt

:22:06. > :22:11.Prater would make a 27 yard field goal to give the Lions a 15-3 lead

:22:12. > :22:17.going into the fourth quarter. First and ten from the Detroit 30-yard

:22:18. > :22:26.line. Mariota, looking deep, touchdown Titans! Walker with his

:22:27. > :22:30.first touchdown of the season. Good job by Mariota. As he gets more

:22:31. > :22:33.experienced in his career, he will try even harder to hold that safety

:22:34. > :22:41.who almost comes over and makes a play, there, and he got that ball on

:22:42. > :22:45.the money to Delanie Walker and boy, the Tennessee Titans needed that.

:22:46. > :22:59.-- looking for Tate. Stafford throwing close to the sideline. If

:23:00. > :23:06.he had thrown it close to the middle of the field, that would have been a

:23:07. > :23:12.touchdown. Golden Tate is not able to get his shoulders round. I agree

:23:13. > :23:18.with you, Steve, but Matthew Stafford nos too, as a quarterback,

:23:19. > :23:22.that ball has got to be attempt away from the sideline. -- Matthew

:23:23. > :23:36.Stafford knows that. Mariota committed DiMarco -- Mariota, to

:23:37. > :23:42.DiMarco. Mariota lofts one! Is a 1st down for Murray, gain of 22. Now

:23:43. > :23:47.they're starting to put pressure on it defense that has spread very

:23:48. > :23:51.thin. If you're playing for field goals, you're going to get the ball

:23:52. > :24:00.back... There's just not enough time to do that. This is the right play.

:24:01. > :24:17.Mariota with time, end zone, and it is good! Johnson, what a play! A 4th

:24:18. > :24:23.down, Andre Johnson with the 69th touchdown of his career, and now the

:24:24. > :24:26.Titans will go for two. How does he catch this ball? He is well

:24:27. > :24:31.defended, there are guys all around him and he pulls it in. That's why

:24:32. > :24:35.he's going to be a Hall of Famer when it's all said and done. You

:24:36. > :24:44.make big plays when you get the chance, at big times. Big play here,

:24:45. > :24:48.a field goal too tight it. Mariota going right... The 2-point

:24:49. > :24:56.conversion is no good! Matt Prater has been clutched in his

:24:57. > :25:10.career, will he get a chance? It is 3rd 9. Stafford, intercepted! He

:25:11. > :25:18.wisely goes to the ground. Matthew Stafford had got 212 passes without

:25:19. > :25:23.an interception, and he throws one here to Paris Cox, who had a

:25:24. > :25:31.miserable game for the Titans, but in the big moment, Cox comes up with

:25:32. > :25:38.the pick and the Titans win, 16-15. Yeah, Marcus did a great job of just

:25:39. > :25:44.staying composed. Andre Adams made the biggest play of the game. He is

:25:45. > :25:48.a hell of a player and we're lucky to have him here. Mariota was calm,

:25:49. > :25:54.he knew the play was going to work and he just let us calmly downfield.

:25:55. > :25:57.We've got a lot to work on. Too many penalties, without question. Time

:25:58. > :26:01.and again we take it into the end zone and get called back out for one

:26:02. > :26:04.infraction or another and some pretty sizeable gains as well. We

:26:05. > :26:09.let them off the hook with a couple of defensive penalties. That is

:26:10. > :26:16.something we've got to get straight, and 17 penalties is disappointing.

:26:17. > :26:19.We've got to get that straight and quickly. Two teams we haven't really

:26:20. > :26:23.seen a lot whilst we have been doing this show, but it was a very tight

:26:24. > :26:26.game and very entertaining. It probably shouldn't have been a tight

:26:27. > :26:30.game, because it right should have been home and hosed if it had not

:26:31. > :26:35.been for all the penalties they conceded. We can see some of them

:26:36. > :26:40.again now. 17 in total, costing 138 yards and three touchdowns. That is

:26:41. > :26:44.the quickest way to lose. You cannot beat yourself, and that is what they

:26:45. > :26:47.did. They gave themselves opportunities to score in the red

:26:48. > :26:51.zone and that is very hard to do. Then they give away penalties to

:26:52. > :26:55.negate those scores, you can't play like that. Can you sometimes find

:26:56. > :26:59.yourself, once you're in that rut of giving away penalties, do you

:27:00. > :27:10.sometimes find you can't stop giving them? That's what it seems like,

:27:11. > :27:15.man. It would drive coach Coughlin insane. Penalties are the last thing

:27:16. > :27:22.you want because it costs your team momentum. You could be driving down

:27:23. > :27:26.the field and called back. Ridiculous, far too many penalties.

:27:27. > :27:34.If you get away with five or under, that's considered a good

:27:35. > :27:38.performance? That is for offense and defense. If you go over that, and he

:27:39. > :27:41.said it in his interview, we're going to have to work on this...

:27:42. > :27:46.What will happen at their training camp over the course of the next six

:27:47. > :27:49.or seven days? Next week is going to be tough. Usually they are bringing

:27:50. > :27:53.in officials to officiate practice and call everything like it was the

:27:54. > :27:55.game. You go through practice and you've got these refs watching

:27:56. > :28:00.everything you do because they've got to clean the game up. It's going

:28:01. > :28:04.to be a tough week. Is it more about educating the players after a week

:28:05. > :28:08.like that, rather than punishing them? Not necessarily educating them

:28:09. > :28:11.because they know what is right and wrong, but sometimes you just get

:28:12. > :28:15.sloppy out there, you just can't afford that many penalties in a

:28:16. > :28:19.game. The reason I said educate, because I tell you why, there were

:28:20. > :28:24.29 penalties in total in that game. I watched so many games this season

:28:25. > :28:27.where flags are coming out here, there and everywhere. I know there

:28:28. > :28:31.are new rules on celebrating as well, but are they stricter at the

:28:32. > :28:35.start of the season, referees? Therefore players need to be

:28:36. > :28:38.educated? Yes, you need to know what is being called. You can bring the

:28:39. > :28:40.refs out and say they are and deciding this this year, be aware of

:28:41. > :28:49.that. The coaches know exactly what

:28:50. > :28:53.referee is calling what. Because different referees look out for

:28:54. > :28:58.different things. Exactly. About what week did you think you could

:28:59. > :29:03.get away with it? About week six, week seven. Next up, Dallas Cowboys

:29:04. > :29:07.and Washington Redskins, both suffering defeat in week one, and

:29:08. > :29:11.Cowboys came within one point of the Giants and the Redskins were soundly

:29:12. > :29:17.put away by the impressive Steelers. Time to find out who avoids the

:29:18. > :29:40.unenviable position of 0-2 after two. COMMENTATOR: Prescott gets it

:29:41. > :29:48.wide, Swain wide open, inside the ten. 1st goal, right up the

:29:49. > :29:55.middle, waiting for the signal, touchdown! Kevin, we talk a lot

:29:56. > :30:00.about the best offensive line in football, just watch that line of

:30:01. > :30:09.scrimmage, whose winning? The Cowboys are clearly winning. Ezekiel

:30:10. > :30:23.Fryers getting behind -- Elliott getting behind. Cuts up inside the

:30:24. > :30:27.10, Matt Jones! Touchdown! A 14 yard run for Matt Jones, his first

:30:28. > :30:32.touchdown of the year. STUDIO: Dan Bailey hit his second field goal of

:30:33. > :30:37.the game to make it 13-7. Washington cut the lead when they got the ball

:30:38. > :30:49.back. This 36 yard Dustin Hopkins field goal made it 13-10 going into

:30:50. > :30:54.half-time. COMMENTATOR: 2nd down, for man pressure. Cousins, end zone!

:30:55. > :31:10.Touchdown. Now that was brilliant. Crowder, you can't throw it any

:31:11. > :31:16.better, folks. He's going to get thrown into the wall, but he's got

:31:17. > :31:23.himself a touchdown. 3rd 11. Prescott thinks about running,

:31:24. > :31:31.hasn't done it yet. Forget run when you can hit number 88! 1st goal

:31:32. > :31:36.for Dallas. Every time he's lined up on the shot, you've got to throw to

:31:37. > :31:43.this man. DAC Prescott doing a nice job seeing the matchup. If you are

:31:44. > :31:55.Washington Redskins you better and quick to make an adjustment. 2nd

:31:56. > :32:01.goal from the six. One touchdown they got, remember the penalty. He's

:32:02. > :32:15.going to run! And he's going to score! Talk about finishing, Dak

:32:16. > :32:19.Prescott thinking, you know what? I'm a pretty good athlete, I can use

:32:20. > :32:24.that, go ahead and use those legs, use them to your advantage, that's

:32:25. > :32:28.exactly what he does. Something like he's going to throw, then

:32:29. > :32:32.bludgeoning forward for the touchdown. STUDIO: On the next

:32:33. > :32:36.Washington possession a seven Play Drive stalled and they had to settle

:32:37. > :32:52.for a 29 yard Hopkins field goal and that made it 20-20. COMMENTATOR: The

:32:53. > :33:00.ball is loose! Shaun Phillips is the guy who recovered it.

:33:01. > :33:07.Kevin, I think it's Josh Norman who knocks this football out. Josh

:33:08. > :33:10.Norman says all right, if I can't cover Dez Bryant, I'll make my

:33:11. > :33:17.presence known somehow. Our colleague kind of invented that

:33:18. > :33:21.technique, the peanut punch, goes in like a boxer with that right hand

:33:22. > :33:25.and gets the ball out. Great players affect the game, that's exactly what

:33:26. > :33:30.Josh Norman just did. STUDIO: Despite great field possession Lille

:33:31. > :33:34.position, Washington again failed to make the end zone. This kick gave

:33:35. > :33:42.them a 3-point lead with a quarter to go. COMMENTATOR: 3rd goal.

:33:43. > :33:49.Firing, intercepted! Picked off in the end zone by Barry Church! What a

:33:50. > :33:57.huge stop by Dallas! He's watching the eyes of Kirk Cousins. Never sees

:33:58. > :34:06.Barry Church. Great play by Barry Church. Cowboys stay in it with a

:34:07. > :34:12.big play. 3rd 11. Play clock at one, they get it off. Prescott

:34:13. > :34:20.firing far side, he's got his man! Beazley again. Huge throw from

:34:21. > :34:30.Prescott. 2nd down and two. Morris, touchdown! Back on his old home turf

:34:31. > :34:35.and he puts his new team in front. This is not about the running back

:34:36. > :34:40.but about that offensive play. Look at Zack Martin pushing Ziggy had off

:34:41. > :34:45.the line of scrimmage. Alfred Morris says thank you very much. No

:34:46. > :34:55.time-outs, Washington needs a touchdown. Cowboys up four with four

:34:56. > :35:03.seconds to play. Kevin cousins looking, throwing. Incomplete! The

:35:04. > :35:10.Cowboys hold on to win it. The rookie Dak Prescott with a

:35:11. > :35:15.game-winning touchdown in the third quarter. We stayed aggressive

:35:16. > :35:20.throughout the game, they did a good job early off keeping us out of the

:35:21. > :35:26.end zone. Everybody kept great poise, playing with composure

:35:27. > :35:31.throughout the game. STUDIO: I want to focus on Kirk Cousins and why he

:35:32. > :35:35.might be feeling the pressure. One of the chats we've been having is

:35:36. > :35:41.because he has this franchise tag, explain why that might give him some

:35:42. > :35:45.pressure. The franchise tag, he's getting average top five salaries of

:35:46. > :35:50.the quarterback salary, he's basically playing for a one-year

:35:51. > :35:53.deal, he's got to prove his worth a long-term investment. At the end of

:35:54. > :35:57.last season they didn't want to give him a bumper contract, they put the

:35:58. > :36:00.franchise thing on, you average out the salaries, but he could be

:36:01. > :36:05.released at the end of the year? They are saying they are not sure,

:36:06. > :36:10.they are not sold on Kirk Cousins in the long run, let's give him a run

:36:11. > :36:14.to see what he does. Seems at the moment like he's affecting them,

:36:15. > :36:19.lost their first two games, both at home. Picked one play in particular

:36:20. > :36:24.to show what he's doing wrong. This is the big one, locking in on one

:36:25. > :36:28.receiver that he tries to deliver it to, and that allows their defenders

:36:29. > :36:35.to know exactly where he's going. The third defender is watching his

:36:36. > :36:39.eyes the whole time. That's not what a veteran quarterback does. He never

:36:40. > :36:43.looks to his right, does he? Leaves them in this position with a couple

:36:44. > :36:47.of seconds on the clock, goes for they'll marry and doesn't come off.

:36:48. > :36:50.Now there are all these rumours around Washington Redskins of play

:36:51. > :37:01.an rest, player dissatisfaction with Kirk Cousins, which isn't going to

:37:02. > :37:05.help. It will make people turn on you, 0-2, I've seen it happen so

:37:06. > :37:10.many times. But they need to stick with that kid, he's going through a

:37:11. > :37:15.rough patch. You seen it happen in dressing rooms? All the time, you go

:37:16. > :37:20.0-2, people have a contract to live up to, pressure on them, especially

:37:21. > :37:24.the coaching staff, it happens. So within that set up do you expect the

:37:25. > :37:29.head coach to deal with that, the quarterback coach? Who should try

:37:30. > :37:35.and calm this suppose it am rest with only two games in? It's the

:37:36. > :37:38.head coach. It's his job to control what's happening in the locker room

:37:39. > :37:41.with the players. I'm surprised that it's out there that they are saying

:37:42. > :37:49.they have an issue with him because who is talking to who? They should

:37:50. > :37:52.be handling that internal. Sources! It creates more unrest if you think

:37:53. > :37:56.there is a league, that is more worrying than your quarterback being

:37:57. > :38:03.in bad form. Exactly. A few games left to cover, starting with

:38:04. > :38:07.Atlanta's Oakland. We were praising Oakland last week but Atlanta's

:38:08. > :38:16.scored 35 points against them. Jones with the touchdown. Derek Carr

:38:17. > :38:22.connects with Clive Walford. The Raiders defense will be a worry.

:38:23. > :38:29.They were a bit unlucky here. That's the problem. They are giving up too

:38:30. > :38:32.many on defense. A defense that was impressive was Minnesota, but Grant

:38:33. > :38:35.opening their new stadium. What will be worrying for the Vikings and

:38:36. > :38:41.we'll talk about this surely, Adrian Peterson leaving the game with a

:38:42. > :38:45.torn meniscus. Of course you've got Bradford as their quarterback now.

:38:46. > :38:55.This was the pick of the touchdowns. Stefan Dix with that. Not much

:38:56. > :38:59.action at the Colosseum, the Rams returning to LA, but it looks great.

:39:00. > :39:11.I know they will not be there for long, but wow. 9-3, the Rams winning

:39:12. > :39:16.that. They still haven't scored an offensive touchdown in this NFL

:39:17. > :39:21.season. Speaking of great defense, the Broncos were at it again. First

:39:22. > :39:29.Aqib Talib with this 46 yard interception for a touchdown. When

:39:30. > :39:34.your defense scores, you can win a lot of games! Did you see the

:39:35. > :39:41.stutter step? Did you see the stutter step? Ron Miller whipping

:39:42. > :39:50.the ball from Andrew Luck, 15 yard fumble return. Who needs offense,

:39:51. > :39:55.man? That's what excites people rather than the defense. EBay for

:39:56. > :39:59.Travis Benjamin for the Chargers, 115 yards, eight catches including

:40:00. > :40:08.two touchdowns. Jacksonville have had a disappointing start, eating in

:40:09. > :40:13.San Diego 38-14. That's why you not -- why you need offense. The

:40:14. > :40:19.Buccaneers beaten by the Cardinals in the open weekend. Connected for

:40:20. > :40:23.51 yards, the defense delivering for Arizona. Marcus Cooper with an

:40:24. > :40:28.interception. They needed that after defeat at home to the Patriots. This

:40:29. > :40:33.is a good team. They had to come back and beat somebody. And they did

:40:34. > :40:39.beat the Buccaneers badly. And then the Monday night game, Carson Wentz

:40:40. > :40:46.can do no wrong, really, as he beat the Bears. And they were impressive

:40:47. > :40:52.defensively at the very least. Two touchdowns for Ryan Mathews, 32

:40:53. > :40:55.yards. It finished 29-14. Jay Cutler left with an injured hand, I think

:40:56. > :41:01.in the end it was injured thumb. Electrifying play at the end, Eddie

:41:02. > :41:09.Royal is returning a punt from 65 yards. This is a great return. The

:41:10. > :41:16.hurdle first of all. This is the exciting part of football, Special

:41:17. > :41:24.Teams! And the blocking as well. But it was all futile because the Eagles

:41:25. > :41:30.won 29-14. So, let's just confirm all of the results for you from week

:41:31. > :41:35.two. You can pick out your favourites of course. The Patriots

:41:36. > :41:40.beating the Dolphins. The Panthers on the board with the dismantling of

:41:41. > :41:44.the 49ers. Oakland will be worrying about their defense, conceded 69

:41:45. > :41:48.points in their opening two games. If we look at the others,

:41:49. > :41:55.confirmation of Tennessee beating Detroit. Pittsburgh beating the

:41:56. > :42:03.Bengals. The Seahawks score stands out, the two teams only in single

:42:04. > :42:07.figures. Let's talk about some of the significant injuries, shall we?

:42:08. > :42:11.Starting with Adrian Peterson, who has torn his meniscus, which is an

:42:12. > :42:19.injury you have suffered from three times, the same need? Well, no, both

:42:20. > :42:23.my knees. I played through the entire season on both of them but

:42:24. > :42:30.one of them I had in 2008 which was a really bad one, they had to sew it

:42:31. > :42:35.down so I missed the entire season. It depends on the severity of his

:42:36. > :42:39.injury, the terror of the meniscus will determine how wrong he is out

:42:40. > :42:46.for. Could it also depend, obviously he plays a different position...

:42:47. > :42:53.What are you trying to say? A bit more lateral movement as well, and

:42:54. > :42:57.pace, they will have to be careful. Yes, he's getting hit, he's getting

:42:58. > :43:03.tackled, he's got to protect that. And he's the offense, a big loss for

:43:04. > :43:07.them. I know they have Sam Bradford, but to lose him will be a massive

:43:08. > :43:10.blow, given how they have started the season.

:43:11. > :43:17.They can't lose him, especially in the later months of the year. In

:43:18. > :43:20.December, you need to bring your defense and you're running game and

:43:21. > :43:23.a PE is their running game and if they don't have him, they're in

:43:24. > :43:30.trouble. An injury for the Broncos with DeMarcus Ware, he has broken a

:43:31. > :43:34.bone near his elbow, that is what we're told. They are saying that

:43:35. > :43:40.could be three or four weeks. I'm no doctor, but for a break in your arm,

:43:41. > :43:43.that sounds remarkably quick to be back playing! I've broken my arm

:43:44. > :43:48.twice and I've come back in three weeks and you can play, but it's

:43:49. > :43:52.difficult. It's difficult to get out there and use your hands and that's

:43:53. > :43:55.what he has to do. Especially as a defensive linemen. He's very good

:43:56. > :44:00.with his hands and the quick arm movements. He's to need his arms

:44:01. > :44:03.strong to play at the level he is accustomed to. Three or four weeks

:44:04. > :44:09.seems optimistic to me. Maybe a bit longer. A couple of teams we should

:44:10. > :44:12.focus on, the Rams were hammered for their performance against Sampras

:44:13. > :44:16.Francisco in week one. They didn't score a point in that game. But if

:44:17. > :44:21.they are going to do anything this season, it will be their defense,

:44:22. > :44:25.whence it? No question about that. Greg Williams, like my boy says here

:44:26. > :44:30.all the time, outstanding defensive coordinator and they are based on

:44:31. > :44:34.defense. They have a quarterback who is not burning down the house by any

:44:35. > :44:39.stretch of the imagination. They going to have to win with defense.

:44:40. > :44:42.But their offense is surely going to have to deliver at some point?

:44:43. > :44:45.They've got a great running back, if they get the running game going and

:44:46. > :44:49.play good defense, they could be competitive. For the moment, thank

:44:50. > :44:53.you to you both. One of the beauties of the NFL is that we get actual

:44:54. > :44:54.access inside the locker room. This is what happened in there during

:44:55. > :45:03.week two. Hell of a team win. Now let's build!

:45:04. > :45:08.Let's enjoy it tonight, because you deserve to enjoy it a night, but

:45:09. > :45:12.when we come in here tomorrow we turn the page and we are focusing on

:45:13. > :45:18.the next opponent. Texans on three will start one, two, three! No one

:45:19. > :45:24.can out fight us, even though it's not pretty all the time, you got to

:45:25. > :45:31.be hard BLEEP champion. You've got to keep the pedal to the metal. One,

:45:32. > :45:35.two, three! One game ball. Most interception returns in the history

:45:36. > :45:47.of Denver... Let me just...

:45:48. > :45:52.LAUGHTER Let me just take you around some of

:45:53. > :46:00.the social media on the NFL. An interesting prank doing the rounds.

:46:01. > :46:04.Full mask, Tom Brady said it was one of the creepiest things he'd ever

:46:05. > :46:10.seen. When the mask came off, it was his former team-mate, Wes Welker and

:46:11. > :46:17.he had been inside Foxboro, watching, in the Tom Brady mask!

:46:18. > :46:20.Well, they could still lift him, so that's all right. Some very

:46:21. > :46:26.interesting outfits around the NFL as well, James Corden going down so

:46:27. > :46:32.well in America on the Late Show he does for CBS. Let's not make any

:46:33. > :46:37.comment on this. He just had to go and be a cheerleader at the Rams for

:46:38. > :46:42.one of the skits they were filming. I'm getting that picture off before

:46:43. > :46:44.you say something! Let's take a look at Camp. We know that

:46:45. > :46:52.loves his outfits in press conferences. -- let's take a look at

:46:53. > :46:59.Cam Are you aware of big Van Dyke in Mary Poppins? The straw boater gives

:47:00. > :47:07.him a bit of Dick van Dijk! His Cockney accent might be better than

:47:08. > :47:11.his as well! A great picture of the new Minnesota Stadium, which is a

:47:12. > :47:15.fantastic venue and they got off to a good start as well. That's almost

:47:16. > :47:19.all we have time for, but after Match of the Day on Saturday night

:47:20. > :47:26.we will bring you the NFL Showed with highlights of the Patriots and

:47:27. > :47:31.the Texans, and Osi gets his hands on the Spurs defender and NFL fan

:47:32. > :47:39.Jan Vertonghen. The training, you can train wherever? And if I don't

:47:40. > :47:43.want, I stay? Imagine Tottenham want to get rid of me, I say no, I can

:47:44. > :47:46.stay! I will tell them you're not going! I think I picked the wrong

:47:47. > :47:55.sport! You won't want to miss that. The NFL

:47:56. > :48:06.Show this Saturday on BBC One, after Match of the Day. On Sunday night,

:48:07. > :48:12.from 7:30pm, live NFL coverage. From us, it is good night and thanks for

:48:13. > :48:15.watching. See you next week. The first signs of patterns, teams that

:48:16. > :48:21.will clearly be challengers come February. Teams for whom the winter

:48:22. > :48:24.ahead already looks stark and cold. After two rounds, there is

:48:25. > :48:30.confirmation of who is making a mark and who is rising to the challenge.

:48:31. > :48:35.And even clearer signs of who is feeling the strain. In the band flow
