:00:07. > :00:35.And it will be time for to decide between touchdown. A

:00:36. > :00:44.how did welcome to NFL this week. Last week, Denver's Super Bowl

:00:45. > :00:54.winner sent a festive bottle of wine to every single player in the AFC

:00:55. > :00:57.West, which is a a contract in his -- back pocket, you would've thought

:00:58. > :01:00.he would have bought something nice. The Broncos head into week 14

:01:01. > :01:05.needing more than a bottle of wine from their rivals are there to make

:01:06. > :01:24.the playoffs. Sadly there is no for this player, when they have it is

:01:25. > :01:28.our Super we will have one post-season is the Dallas Cowboys,

:01:29. > :01:32.who will be facing the Giants where a win will secure the title. The

:01:33. > :01:39.Giant is currently occupy one of the wild card spots, and for them a win

:01:40. > :01:52.is crucial in their quest the march of the season. The advance it began

:01:53. > :02:00.with a backward step but who did stop them way back in game one, 13

:02:01. > :02:03.weeks ago? The New York Giants. Giants by name, the big blue

:02:04. > :02:20.wrecking crew. A Terrence Williams, touchdown and

:02:21. > :02:43.that drive, 67 yards, As soon as that fake went, everyone

:02:44. > :02:49.took a step that way and Terrence Williams went across the field with

:02:50. > :02:57.no one around. A minute and a half left, 3rd 3. Cowboys in three,

:02:58. > :03:10.going for back and he drops it inside the 5-yard line. He could not

:03:11. > :03:15.hang on, 4th down. Empty backfield. Manning, with the ball going

:03:16. > :03:21.forward, Cedric Soares then got into his face. He has the turnover. He

:03:22. > :03:26.will be sick about that, Eli Manning, the ball falls out of his

:03:27. > :03:34.hands and even worse than that Robert Lewis was free. It will be a

:03:35. > :03:43.walk in touchdown. Eli Manning drops one and it kills the drive. Dunbar

:03:44. > :03:50.stays in to block and the path is picked off at the 39-yard line, it

:03:51. > :04:00.was intercepted by Jenkins, only the third interception in 13 games for

:04:01. > :04:06.Prescott. Look at Zac. The ball comes out as well, Manning went

:04:07. > :04:12.down, Zack lost it, another Dallas recovery. Great play by Benson. I

:04:13. > :04:18.want you to watch this, there he is, his shoulder pads will face that way

:04:19. > :04:22.by the time he makes first contact. Basically all he does is push into

:04:23. > :04:26.Eli Manning. You cannot play that way, you're not even supposed to

:04:27. > :04:30.turn sideways at all and he turned completely around by the time he

:04:31. > :04:35.makes first contact. The Cowboys could not capitalise on the

:04:36. > :04:37.turnover, Dan Bailey's effort ricocheted off back with the

:04:38. > :04:46.crossbar. In the third quarter, the Giants

:04:47. > :04:52.finally got on the board with a 30 yard kick from Robbie Gould. 3rd

:04:53. > :04:59.15. Prescott under pressure, going deep downfield. Picked off on the

:05:00. > :05:09.9-yard line. A good run. All kinds of action. He brings back to the

:05:10. > :05:12.yard line. I am not so sure that Dez Bryant was relieved by the free

:05:13. > :05:17.safety in the middle of the field. He never believed it was going to be

:05:18. > :05:21.thrown. He looked back but then it was Jenkins that basically undercut

:05:22. > :05:25.him and so it was a free play, basically, for Leon Hall to make

:05:26. > :05:31.that catch. A good run back, Prescott at two. And it is Beckham

:05:32. > :05:36.making the catch and off to the races he goes. Clark is chasing him

:05:37. > :05:40.down but he cannot get in. They take the lead. 61 yards after the

:05:41. > :05:46.interception. There is no one like him. With the ball in his hands, he

:05:47. > :05:53.has to be the most exciting player in the National Football League. He

:05:54. > :06:02.is going to attend the coronation. Second out of nine from the 22.

:06:03. > :06:07.Manning hangs in there. Picked up on the 16. Speaking of Anthony Browne,

:06:08. > :06:14.what a play. Victor Cruz was the intended receiver and Eli Manning

:06:15. > :06:17.throws the pack. It feels -- he feels where Victor Cruz is in the

:06:18. > :06:21.interception is beautifully done. What an amazing job he has done

:06:22. > :06:28.stepping in for Maurice Claiborne. Eli Manning cannot believe it. 3rd

:06:29. > :06:33.down and six. The Cowboys will have an interesting choice here. If it is

:06:34. > :06:39.four and six or even more. One time-out and a two minute warning.

:06:40. > :06:45.First thing's first, third and sixth. A Giant blitz. Prescott gets

:06:46. > :06:50.away and it is dropped. Swallowed by Brian and picked up by Collins. It

:06:51. > :06:58.lands on the 37-yard line. Brian makes a catch. Same deal, same exact

:06:59. > :07:04.thing. Played the hot to read, this time they hit it and he could not

:07:05. > :07:15.hang on. Brad Wing, his ninth pond. Easley is back at the 10-yard line.

:07:16. > :07:20.A spinner. And the Giants are going to the 2-yard line. Dwayne Harris is

:07:21. > :07:24.some special guy. The Cowboys now that's too well. He started his

:07:25. > :07:30.career there. The Cowboys, down to the last gasp. Fourth Baron. Whitton

:07:31. > :07:39.comes in for more protection at the backfield. -- 4th down. And that is

:07:40. > :07:44.at the 20-yard line. Bryant makes the catch, going to the ground. He

:07:45. > :07:48.holds onto it. Or did he? That is the question. And it has to be

:07:49. > :07:57.reviewed. Did they get the stoppage before the next snap? You will get a

:07:58. > :08:02.clearly incomplete pass. Guess who? To nor is Jenkins again. What a

:08:03. > :08:09.night he has had. And the crowd just saw the replay and they know it is

:08:10. > :08:20.game over. The Giants win on opening day and they win in week 14. For

:08:21. > :08:27.Prescott, 17-37. Under 57%. Two interceptions, equalling his season

:08:28. > :08:29.total coming into the game. I could have played better. Obviously the

:08:30. > :08:40.second half, we had a couple of good drives. We needed more to win. Our

:08:41. > :08:44.defense played outstanding. We got some pressure. I did not play my

:08:45. > :08:49.best game but they had a great defense and a great coordinator. I

:08:50. > :08:53.give them credit for all-round defense. Look at him, waiting

:08:54. > :08:57.patiently. I will have to keep on waiting longer. Sadly he is not

:08:58. > :09:02.praising Kansas City this week, instead he is looking at his beloved

:09:03. > :09:06.Giants. He did say from three weeks ago that they would beat Dallas, so

:09:07. > :09:12.he is going to look at the job they're defense did, and Pat himself

:09:13. > :09:16.on the back. Look how happy he is! The Giants pulled off another upset

:09:17. > :09:20.which quite frankly in New York, we are accustomed to. And they did this

:09:21. > :09:23.with an outstanding, overwhelming defensive presence, and I want you

:09:24. > :09:30.to look at some of the plays they were able to make. Right here, you

:09:31. > :09:34.are going to see divine canard. The interesting thing about this guy, he

:09:35. > :09:38.is on line back, not a defensive tackle. We have a saying, the more

:09:39. > :09:43.you can do, the longer you will stay. You will see him lined up

:09:44. > :09:48.against one of the best offensive lineman in football. Watch this man

:09:49. > :09:52.push his man all the way into the quarterback. That is what forces

:09:53. > :09:55.Prescott into an interception he could not see. And this is how the

:09:56. > :09:59.defense is tied together. This is how you know it, when the pressure

:10:00. > :10:06.comes against the interception. I want you to look at something here.

:10:07. > :10:11.If you had Janoris Jenkins, the jack rabbit, lined up in a 1-1 situation

:10:12. > :10:14.against Dez Bryant, Jenkins is right now the best quarterback in

:10:15. > :10:20.football. Why would you feel to him? Throwing to him makes no sense.

:10:21. > :10:23.Throwing to that side is like when you are hungry and you were walking

:10:24. > :10:27.to the refrigerator over and over again, hoping food miraculously

:10:28. > :10:30.appears but it never does. That is what is going on right here. They

:10:31. > :10:35.are going to throw to him and what happens when you open that up?

:10:36. > :10:39.Interception. Jenkins making plays for the New York Giants. And right

:10:40. > :10:47.here, I want you to look right here. This direct to your is Romeo

:10:48. > :10:52.acquirer. The Dallas Cowboys are going to line up with six offensive

:10:53. > :10:58.lineman. Why are they going to do this? Because they want to fool the

:10:59. > :11:02.Giants. Most of the time, when there are six offensive lineman on the

:11:03. > :11:08.field, it is usually a run. Are the Giants fooled? Absolutely not. And

:11:09. > :11:13.Romeo Okwara is going to say, no, they will not fool me today. Why

:11:14. > :11:16.would I say it in that accent? Because it is an African name. And

:11:17. > :11:20.he would say that in an African accent. Check him out right here, as

:11:21. > :11:29.he goes out around the corner, playing the run amok coming round

:11:30. > :11:38.the edge. Sack Oyonnax sacking Dak, he is sacking Dak. With all the talk

:11:39. > :11:40.about Eli Manning, it is the Giants defense getting the job done for New

:11:41. > :11:46.York. And they were very impressive. When

:11:47. > :11:50.you highlight the offensive line, they have been such a strength this

:11:51. > :11:56.season but the Giants outsmarted them. And that is a wrong look. You

:11:57. > :12:02.are trying to fool them but it does not work. Go Giants. And yet for all

:12:03. > :12:06.the great defensive work, there have to questions about the Giants

:12:07. > :12:11.offense. We had a discussion last week but Eli Manning is most

:12:12. > :12:15.definitely not firing at the moment. Statistically he always has a rough

:12:16. > :12:19.decision. It is just what happens to him. It is kind of how his make-up

:12:20. > :12:23.is. It seems not to flow for him. But that is why they spent this

:12:24. > :12:28.money on this defense. They need to get through points like that because

:12:29. > :12:32.visually, it just clicking. Can the Giants defense make up for the

:12:33. > :12:39.stuttering fence? Offends wins games but defense wins championship. They

:12:40. > :12:42.spent $200 million bringing in new players and frankly, I have never

:12:43. > :12:46.seen this before. They hit on every single one of the players they

:12:47. > :12:51.brought in. A tremendous job by the general manager, fixing the defense.

:12:52. > :12:55.They never anticipated the offense would be so bad but defensively,

:12:56. > :13:02.they are playing well. But things change from week to week. As we

:13:03. > :13:06.learn as the season progresses. But can this defense to take the Giants

:13:07. > :13:10.a long way? The defense will definitely carry. You have to have

:13:11. > :13:14.good defense and you have to have good defense in the postseason. What

:13:15. > :13:20.do you think this will do to Dallas, this defeat? And also the fact that

:13:21. > :13:26.they were not particularly fluid against the Vikings but they still

:13:27. > :13:29.managed to get out there with a win. The last two weeks, they have not

:13:30. > :13:31.replicated what they did against Washington. They have not played

:13:32. > :13:34.well and it will be interesting to see what happens with the

:13:35. > :13:37.quarterback situation. Everybody is in love with Dak Prescott and they

:13:38. > :13:44.think he the guy but he has not played well the last of weeks and

:13:45. > :13:48.you have an outstanding player in Tony Romo, sitting behind this young

:13:49. > :13:55.kid, that might be what is affecting right now. I don't know why you like

:13:56. > :14:00.Tony Romo, but Dak Prescott is fine. He has had one and a half back games

:14:01. > :14:03.-- bad games. But at the wrong time. You cannot be plain bad at this

:14:04. > :14:06.time. You have to but playing winning football. This is the thing,

:14:07. > :14:11.they have not had the chance to check their mistakes. Coaches do not

:14:12. > :14:14.want to go in and rock the boat. Now they have a game to correct

:14:15. > :14:17.everything they did bad in the previous games. I think they will

:14:18. > :14:21.bounce back. So what happens if they lose the next to my games? Will they

:14:22. > :14:26.stick with Dak Prescott? We will talk about that next week. Let's

:14:27. > :14:32.take a look at our first round-up of week 14.

:14:33. > :14:44.Kirk Cousins from 204 yards and two touchdowns including that 80 yard to

:14:45. > :14:50.Jackson. It keeps their wild card hopes alive at all but eliminates

:14:51. > :14:55.the Eagles. 25 yard touchdown inside the final two minutes. Seattle had

:14:56. > :14:59.the opportunity to clinch the NFC West but there were five

:15:00. > :15:06.interceptions thrown by Russell Wilson and that put paid to that in

:15:07. > :15:12.a snow swept Lambeau Field. Aaron Rodgers was limping a little bit but

:15:13. > :15:19.he was good enough to secure this 38-10 win, throwing 4246 yards and

:15:20. > :15:24.three touchdowns, two of them to Nelson. We will look at the Packers

:15:25. > :15:29.in a moment. Minnesota managed to keep pace with the Green Bay, it was

:15:30. > :15:35.9-9 at half-time, two second-half touchdown saw the Vikings pull away,

:15:36. > :15:42.Rudolph with the decisive score and the final score was 25-16. The

:15:43. > :15:48.defending Super Bowl champions are in danger of missing out of the

:15:49. > :15:51.playoffs and that would match their Super Bowl XXXIII exploits.

:15:52. > :15:56.Tennessee were fresh from nearby weak and they went 13-0 up at

:15:57. > :16:01.half-time and despite Denver mounting a second-half fightback,

:16:02. > :16:10.the Titans now have a share of the lead in the AFC South. They share

:16:11. > :16:19.that with Houston who won 22-17 at the Indianapolis Colts. What is

:16:20. > :16:28.that? That was a two yard touchdown. Novak scored five field goals. And

:16:29. > :16:34.none of us want to see that ever ever again. Let's swiftly move on.

:16:35. > :16:38.Let's talk about Green Bay. It was a matter of one month ago where we

:16:39. > :16:44.were criticising them a lot and now they are on a little bit of a roll,

:16:45. > :16:47.three wins on the trot, what is different? The magic of Aaron

:16:48. > :16:51.Rodgers bouncing back from playing badly at the beginning and defense

:16:52. > :16:59.is getting healthy. They had significant injuries early in the

:17:00. > :17:03.season. At home, in December, are strong. Lambeau Field, the crowd

:17:04. > :17:06.noise, people going crazy, everyone excited, Green Bay is like a small

:17:07. > :17:11.college town. They have nothing else to do there, the whole town is now

:17:12. > :17:15.watching the football game and the Green Bay Packers feed off it. If

:17:16. > :17:22.you are from Green Bay, nice to have your long. They know it is true!

:17:23. > :17:26.Does Aaron Rodgers look happier, because we have seen times where he

:17:27. > :17:30.looked furious with what his team-mates are doing? He definitely

:17:31. > :17:34.looks happier because he is completing passes. It is the way he

:17:35. > :17:38.is able to set his feet up quickly to deliver that ball and he seems to

:17:39. > :17:42.have that back and he is able to use his mobility to set his feet up

:17:43. > :17:47.quickly and get that ball out like a web, it is amazing. He needs about

:17:48. > :17:51.mobility as the season reaches its climax and towards the end, when we

:17:52. > :17:55.see him limping, he looks like he might not have full mobility. I

:17:56. > :18:01.don't buy that for one second, come on, do you watch this game? He was

:18:02. > :18:04.out there, I don't know how many touchdown passes, was moving around

:18:05. > :18:09.fluently and he gets on the sideline, all my leg, all my head!

:18:10. > :18:15.Nobody is buying that, no one feel sorry for you, Aaron Rodgers! Do you

:18:16. > :18:22.feel sorry for Russell Wilson? I do. Hit man Jimmy Graham need to get

:18:23. > :18:29.back on the same page. He needs a target he can depend on. He's not

:18:30. > :18:33.been very well protected? He has not been protected at all. That

:18:34. > :18:39.offensive line have been influx that entire season. Look at this.

:18:40. > :18:45.Turnovers... This very last play, the guy is going to run right around

:18:46. > :18:53.him. He needs to give him the lookout block. They are getting

:18:54. > :19:01.demolished, they need to do something about that. I want to get

:19:02. > :19:06.your thoughts on a couple of rather nasty hits that took place in the

:19:07. > :19:14.NFL this week. This was Douglas on Harris for Denver. This is what

:19:15. > :19:21.happened to Sproles. You could hear their helmets crash into each other.

:19:22. > :19:25.Which was the worst one for you? The one on Chris Harris, that could have

:19:26. > :19:31.ended your career. That was playing dirty. If that happened to us, we

:19:32. > :19:35.will go after him. A lot of people in the studio, we all wince when we

:19:36. > :19:40.see the Sproles won but that is a matter of timing, whereas Douglas on

:19:41. > :19:45.Harris, if we see that again, that is malicious. Honestly, this is

:19:46. > :19:49.uncalled for. I'm not a violent person by any stretch of the

:19:50. > :19:53.imagination but if I saw this, I am coming off the sidelined ride away.

:19:54. > :20:00.You're trying to end this man's career. He's not looking at you,

:20:01. > :20:04.you're taking his knees out! You will have to fight every footballer

:20:05. > :20:12.on the field if you do that. The Sproles one was violent, but you can

:20:13. > :20:21.excuse it a little bit. The guy might have been trying to aim for

:20:22. > :20:30.the midsection... Denver were Ryles. They went after him. You have to do

:20:31. > :20:35.that. It has not quite been a Cleveland season over in Chicago but

:20:36. > :20:40.with three wins, 2016 is hardly a year to write home about. Making the

:20:41. > :20:45.short trip to the motor city were rampant Matthew Stafford and the

:20:46. > :20:49.Detroit Lions awaited, Chicago are without Cutler and without much

:20:50. > :20:53.help. They actually won the reverse fixture in week four and looking to

:20:54. > :21:02.drill the playoff hopes, they will be hoping to draw inspiration from

:21:03. > :21:08.those 85 Chicago Bears. Nobody sold the NFL to an international audience

:21:09. > :21:13.quite like William Perry. The cat-macro fridge. Super Bowl XX, the

:21:14. > :21:19.Chicago Bears, bottom of the NFC North, they will not be making the

:21:20. > :21:23.playoffs this season. The battling spirit, the Detroit Lions are much

:21:24. > :21:37.more like it, top of the division, fourth-quarter comebacks their

:21:38. > :21:44.speciality. 13 drops by Bears receivers since Berkeley has taken

:21:45. > :21:49.over. Howard is wide open. Taking on the Lions tackle is inside the

:21:50. > :21:54.Detroit 30. A burst of 28 by the rookie running back. Finally brought

:21:55. > :22:06.down by Walker and Lawson. Seven plays later, the Bears were ahead.

:22:07. > :22:11.Confusion. Boxed play. Stafford nowhere to go but throw it out of

:22:12. > :22:17.bounds. He took a hit, trying to get rid of the ball. Watch that right

:22:18. > :22:21.hand. I don't know if he jammed a thumb. Stafford had dislocated the

:22:22. > :22:27.middle finger on his throwing hand but he stayed in the game. It was

:22:28. > :22:30.then tied at three all before the Lions got the ball back late in the

:22:31. > :22:37.second quarter. They were able to get the 1st down. After the penalty,

:22:38. > :22:46.behind the 15, going towards the end zone, it is touchdown! You angle

:22:47. > :22:51.towards the pylon here and then this ball is going to come right over the

:22:52. > :22:59.top. Good separation by the 14 year veteran. He is bolstering his Hall

:23:00. > :23:09.of Fame resume. Some pretty good names, list. They struck again on

:23:10. > :23:13.the first try for Detroit. This 54 yard field goal gave the Lions

:23:14. > :23:25.Boldin lead. Setting catch today for just under 40. He has his man. It is

:23:26. > :23:30.Meredith for the Chicago touchdown and the Bears are right back in it,

:23:31. > :23:40.31 yards on the touchdown catch by Meredith. We see the timed

:23:41. > :23:48.possession. Stafford going to be end zone, deflected, is it picked? Yes

:23:49. > :23:55.it is. Intercepted by Hirst, what a break for Detroit. Golden Tate was

:23:56. > :23:59.the intended receiver. Mike Callahan, he'd tapped that ball

:24:00. > :24:05.distracting golden Tate and ricochets off his face masked.

:24:06. > :24:13.Gratuitous bounce for the Chicago Bears and unfortunate for the

:24:14. > :24:26.Detroit Lions. Berkeley escapes initially. First sack of Berkeley

:24:27. > :24:34.this afternoon. Stafford incomplete. Five straight attempts, should be

:24:35. > :24:43.3rd 5 from their own 14. The pass was intercepted. It is LeBlanc and

:24:44. > :24:48.he is in for the Bears. You have to wonder if the glove on that throwing

:24:49. > :24:54.hand, Matthew Stafford, causes him to throw the ball behind. The block

:24:55. > :24:58.made a really nice block. Here he is. Watch him jump in the hip pocket

:24:59. > :25:04.of the intended receiver. Great play. He was covering against

:25:05. > :25:08.Boldin. The ball was thrown behind Boldin and it should not have been

:25:09. > :25:12.thrown by Matthew Stafford. Great coverage by LeBlanc. Game on the

:25:13. > :25:26.line, the Lions have the Bears right where they want them. Pass Boldin.

:25:27. > :25:36.Breaking inside the 25. Just shy of the 20. They are trying to maintain

:25:37. > :25:46.this two-game lead. Second angle, Staffords, under pressure. He is

:25:47. > :25:52.then for the Lions touchdown. Detroit are back in front. It is not

:25:53. > :25:57.as pretty as some of the other running quarterbacks, but you have

:25:58. > :26:03.got to love the poise of Matthew Stafford. They are trying to close

:26:04. > :26:11.in Alma would be their First Division title. In 22 years.

:26:12. > :26:18.Berkeley's pass, Meredith, still on his feet, Meredith inside the 20, to

:26:19. > :26:27.the 15-yard line. Slade forced him out of bounds. 27 yards. Big-time

:26:28. > :26:38.play, but we are going to get a holding on Charles Leno. They're are

:26:39. > :26:41.shareholder right there. Take down. That is a killer 27 yard pass. 129

:26:42. > :26:50.penalty yards, 48 seconds left. 1st penalty yards, 48 seconds left. 1st

:26:51. > :27:06.20, Berkeley throws and it is caught. What a play. Another flag is

:27:07. > :27:11.thrown. Unbelievable. Every way possible. Whether it is receivers

:27:12. > :27:18.dropping passes or the like of Larsen getting a holding call. Here

:27:19. > :27:28.he is at the right guard position. That is every time. Bigas play call

:27:29. > :27:31.of the day coming up for the Bears. They are getting receivers open in

:27:32. > :27:41.the middle of the field and if they do so, they have a time-out left to

:27:42. > :27:46.stop the play. Berkeley's pass up the middle is deflected, what is the

:27:47. > :27:55.call here? They say incomplete and it will be a turnover on the downs.

:27:56. > :28:02.It was a hard-fought game, the Bears are a strong team and they play well

:28:03. > :28:07.and we had a battle on our hands. Disappointment, we were trying to go

:28:08. > :28:11.and win the game, but there were parts of the game, things we have to

:28:12. > :28:17.clean up and get better and learn from. Hopefully we will see those

:28:18. > :28:25.things. We will correct it and move forward.

:28:26. > :28:31.Focusing on Detroit, Matthew Stafford dislocating his finger but

:28:32. > :28:35.leading them to another comeback. This is what he has been doing all

:28:36. > :28:38.year. He has the hot hand, and especially coming back from an

:28:39. > :28:41.injury like that, you are worried if he is going to be able to do it but

:28:42. > :28:45.he did it with his feet. He is the champion. But the glove on and that

:28:46. > :28:47.obviously helped him. You wonder whether it would affect how he

:28:48. > :28:55.throws but then you see something like this. A bit of the feet, and

:28:56. > :28:58.then it does not affect the throw. The thing about Matthew Stafford, he

:28:59. > :29:02.has always had that kind of raw talent. This is an outstanding

:29:03. > :29:07.quarterback but he did not have the maturity. Now he is playing at an

:29:08. > :29:11.MVP level. When you look at it right, and I mentioned how many

:29:12. > :29:14.times they have come back, Chicago had their chances in this game,

:29:15. > :29:21.numerous penalties. Bellamy, right at the end, dropping the ball. It

:29:22. > :29:25.would have got them a field goal. Our do getting away with it or are

:29:26. > :29:32.they making their own luck? They are just a better team. -- our Detroit

:29:33. > :29:35.getting away with it. They have playmakers who make plays when the

:29:36. > :29:39.game is on the line. That is the difference between them and Chicago.

:29:40. > :29:45.But are they lucky? They were lucky in that game. In certain situations

:29:46. > :29:48.when you are a bad team, bad things happen to you and when you are a

:29:49. > :29:52.good team, good things happen. I know that sounds a little redundant

:29:53. > :29:59.but that is the way it is in the NFL. Two touchdowns in a row against

:30:00. > :30:02.Chicago, that never happens. The defensive line would hold on almost

:30:03. > :30:06.every single play. If you look at the fixtures, Green Bay might catch

:30:07. > :30:10.Detroit in this division. They have the other three division sides to

:30:11. > :30:16.play. But if to are setting their sights at number two in the NSC, may

:30:17. > :30:21.be going head to head with Seattle, when you look at the remaining

:30:22. > :30:27.fixtures, Detroit have a lot harder games, with the Giants and Dallas

:30:28. > :30:30.and Green Bay, but Seattle have their divisional rivals. Seattle has

:30:31. > :30:36.got the cakewalk of a schedule right now. That is the thing about

:30:37. > :30:40.Detroit. Compared to Detroit? Divisional rivals, those are not

:30:41. > :30:46.cakewalk. Every one of those teams are going to be trying to punch them

:30:47. > :30:50.in the mouth. They could lose both of their games. The Rams are known

:30:51. > :30:56.for beating the Seattle Seahawks. Those will not be easy games. You

:30:57. > :31:02.are just accepting that? He is just talking crazy. A quick reminder that

:31:03. > :31:07.you can get another dose of the NFL show after Match of the Day on

:31:08. > :31:12.Saturday night. We will have highlights of the Rams as they visit

:31:13. > :31:16.the Seahawks and we will preview week 15. Four straight wins for

:31:17. > :31:21.Tampa Bay and all of a sudden they are finding themselves tied to the

:31:22. > :31:28.top of the NFC south. The Buccaneers sit a far cry from their two and 14

:31:29. > :31:35.season of 2014. Another examination of their credentials came in their

:31:36. > :31:41.game against the New Orleans. The Saints boast the best defensive

:31:42. > :31:45.record in the NFL. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on a swashbuckling

:31:46. > :31:53.surge, second in the NFC south with an eye on top spot. They sense gold.

:31:54. > :31:59.The playoffs, the prize. But others attack with a swagger. The New

:32:00. > :32:07.Orleans Saints, with the wind in their sales.

:32:08. > :32:14.Tampa Bay opened the scoring when Roberto Aguero converted a field

:32:15. > :32:27.goal midway through the first quarter. Given to Martin. And he

:32:28. > :32:32.gets into the end zone. He runs through with that attempted tackle.

:32:33. > :32:47.Darryl Tapp had a second opportunity. Small, contact, getting

:32:48. > :32:57.under. Dale Breeze did not throw a tough touchdown since 2009. --

:32:58. > :33:02.Brees. It goes into the arms... It looks like the Saints have something

:33:03. > :33:11.more. Tampa Bay converted that into a point for the team to take a 13

:33:12. > :33:22.point lead. New Orleans got on the scoreboard with this. They did it.

:33:23. > :33:28.They did it. They get the set piece. And they go to safety. That is

:33:29. > :33:31.clean. Kruger was in there, number 99, from a stand-up position. Look

:33:32. > :33:35.at all the guys on the line of scrimmage. There are ten guys.

:33:36. > :33:40.Kruger gets in there at number 99, and he gets the penetration. That is

:33:41. > :33:43.not safer. That is full close. Remember they called its safety on

:33:44. > :33:57.the field so it will be hard to return. UMPIRE: The point stands. 11

:33:58. > :34:18.minutes later, this field goal made it a 5-point game at half-time. 3rd

:34:19. > :34:26.down and two. And it is a touchdown. Look at Brandon cooks. Watching

:34:27. > :34:32.going. He finds a spot, he sits down and establishes himself. Just look

:34:33. > :34:36.at it. Here we go. I not sure. This is what they were looking at. And

:34:37. > :34:46.look at that, the ball was down and on the ground. UMPIRE: Incomplete

:34:47. > :34:52.pass. After failing to get a touchdown, the Saints settled for a

:34:53. > :34:59.22 yard touchdown to cut the lead to two. In the fourth quarter, the

:35:00. > :35:06.Buccaneers responded. This from 26 yards, restoring Tampa's 5-point

:35:07. > :35:13.lead. True Breeze secured his second interception of the day. -- Brees.

:35:14. > :35:16.The Saints would have a final chance to win the game, starting their own

:35:17. > :35:32.3-yard line with two minutes to play. Drew Brees is the greatest

:35:33. > :35:40.single free agent Saini of all time. He leads all quarterbacks in

:35:41. > :35:47.touchdowns, yards. Can he bring his team back? The Saints have one

:35:48. > :35:56.time-out left. If you are Tampa Bay, you have a 5-point lead, and you

:35:57. > :36:00.need to keep everything in front. Drew Brees looking down the field,

:36:01. > :36:10.and that is a nice catch right there. Great protection. Down the

:36:11. > :36:19.field. And right into trouble cover. For the Saints, this is it. It is

:36:20. > :36:22.intercepted. Buy candy. A huge interception against San Diego a

:36:23. > :36:30.week ago, and he delivers again tonight. Earlier in this game we saw

:36:31. > :36:33.him make two excellent collections of the football, one resulting in an

:36:34. > :36:39.interception. He wants to be a coach and he has his eyes on the gameplay.

:36:40. > :36:45.Remember, he is not the starter, he is filling in. I tell you what he

:36:46. > :36:49.has, he has the feet of Drew Brees. He is breaking on his eyes, not the

:36:50. > :36:54.ball. He is looking and anticipating what Brees is going to do. He makes

:36:55. > :37:00.a great interception for the Buccaneers. Nobody could have seen

:37:01. > :37:07.that coming. Two weeks now, we have not scored a touchdown, and I think

:37:08. > :37:13.you've to start there. That keeps you from having a chance. We have to

:37:14. > :37:20.be better. I am very proud of our guys for finding a way. It starts

:37:21. > :37:25.with our defense. Who says that they do not play defense in Tampa Bay?

:37:26. > :37:29.They do. That was the ultimate team win. Our winning has been ultimate

:37:30. > :37:34.team wins. That is how you win football games. It felt great. For

:37:35. > :37:40.the fifth week in a row, the good guys win. Yeah. You don't often get

:37:41. > :37:45.applause in post match press conferences. They must really like

:37:46. > :37:48.him. Must be a lot of Tampa Bay journalists in that one. We praised

:37:49. > :37:52.the Buccaneers a lot last week and defensively they were great again in

:37:53. > :37:56.this game, but how much did Drew Brees help them? Well, obviously you

:37:57. > :38:01.cannot throw three interceptions like that. He has played poorly over

:38:02. > :38:06.the last two games. But you have got to give the Buccaneers' defense

:38:07. > :38:13.credit. Mike Snow is now their defensive coordinator and he was

:38:14. > :38:18.known for being a defensive player until he switched to Tampa. But he

:38:19. > :38:23.has that defense humming now. It is like the old Tampa Bay, they were a

:38:24. > :38:30.defensive game and that is how they won games. -- a defensive team Brees

:38:31. > :38:34.is it a bad run at the wrong time. No touchdowns in two games, not

:38:35. > :38:39.helped by certain players dropping the ball when they could have had a

:38:40. > :38:44.touchdown. And I think he feels the pressure that he has two the games.

:38:45. > :38:48.He has to score a lot points so he can make big plays. Honestly, that

:38:49. > :38:53.is mind-boggling for Drew Brees to have no touchdowns and six

:38:54. > :38:56.interceptions. We are talking about one of the greatest quarterbacks in

:38:57. > :39:02.the history of football. Tampa Bay, similar to Detroit. They are running

:39:03. > :39:07.is not particularly kind. And in fact, we 15, next week at Dallas,

:39:08. > :39:11.then they have New Orleans and Carolina. It is going to be a tough

:39:12. > :39:14.run for them but what I like about them is that they are treating these

:39:15. > :39:18.turnovers. They are giving themselves a chance to score points

:39:19. > :39:21.and preventing the other team. If you play well on defense, as long as

:39:22. > :39:27.you have a good defense you will be able to stay in every game. That is

:39:28. > :39:30.a tough three games that they have but they should be able to win a

:39:31. > :39:33.couple. Will doubtless be looking at Tampa Bay, given what happened to

:39:34. > :39:36.them against New York? And all of a sudden doubts might be coming into

:39:37. > :39:38.the Cowboys because of how they struggled against New York. Yes,

:39:39. > :39:45.because Tampa Bay can't stop the run. If they forced Dak to throw

:39:46. > :39:52.like they did against the Giants, that game can go quickly. If it is

:39:53. > :40:00.Dak. Let's now look... Let's look at our final round-up from week 14. We

:40:01. > :40:07.will start with Pittsburgh, and Bell having a record day. 236 yards and

:40:08. > :40:13.three touchdowns. The Steelers, running out to 27-20 winners in the

:40:14. > :40:20.snow. He was jogging to the end zone. It moved the Steelers to eight

:40:21. > :40:23.and five ahead of the Ravens. Their divisional rivals sitting on the

:40:24. > :40:33.Patriots on Monday night but the Ravens lost that 30-23. Tom Brady am

:40:34. > :40:36.a passing for six and 19 yards. And just as the Ravens mounted a

:40:37. > :40:48.comeback in the second half, watch this. 79 yard touchdown. Somebody is

:40:49. > :40:53.going to get fired. That is to open. Don't give Brady any credit for that

:40:54. > :41:01.whatsoever. Arizona and Miami in the next round, threw for 100 and nine

:41:02. > :41:05.yards. Three touchdowns in this. But he sprained an ACL against the

:41:06. > :41:12.Cardinals and that could well be his season over. And they still have

:41:13. > :41:20.playoff ambitions, the Dolphins. They ran out 26-23. They need a

:41:21. > :41:25.quarterback. They do. Will go to San Diego next. Not a great deal on this

:41:26. > :41:32.game but Carolina were 23 points up in the second quarter. Jonathan

:41:33. > :41:36.Stewart, helping them do that. Eventually it finished 28-16 to Cam

:41:37. > :41:44.Newton's man. And it was very easy for the Atlanta Falcons, opening up

:41:45. > :41:50.a 42-0 lead over the hapless LA Rams. They finally ran out 42-14

:41:51. > :41:53.winners to go to eight and five atop the AFC south. Taylor Gabriel had

:41:54. > :42:02.the pick of the scoring. This 64 yard catch from Matt Ryan. Talking

:42:03. > :42:06.of people getting fired, 48 hours after the game, the Rams fired their

:42:07. > :42:10.head coach, Jeff Fisher, and he becomes the first coaching

:42:11. > :42:14.casualties of the season. And we will talk about that in just a

:42:15. > :42:19.moment. As far as the standings are concerned, New England have not yet

:42:20. > :42:22.won the AFC East because of Miami's late win. In the North, Baltimore's

:42:23. > :42:27.loss handed Pittsburgh the initiative. In the south,

:42:28. > :42:31.Indianapolis lost to Houston, setting them back. Houston go to

:42:32. > :42:35.Tennessee in week 17 and Denver are now in danger of missing out on the

:42:36. > :42:40.playoffs in the West. As far as the NFC is concerned, Dallas lost to the

:42:41. > :42:44.Giants, stopping and winning the division. The Giants in a strong

:42:45. > :42:50.position. Destroyed have control of the North and eight that running

:42:51. > :42:54.Minnesota or Bay Slytherin. -- to try to control. The Buccaneers have

:42:55. > :43:01.the harder run in the south. In the West, Seattle's Road record has seen

:43:02. > :43:05.them slip to 841. If this season ended after this week, New England

:43:06. > :43:09.and Kansas City would be the top two sides with Denver and Oakland are

:43:10. > :43:12.wild Cards, with the best record of everybody else. They go to the other

:43:13. > :43:21.divisional winners in Houston and Pittsburgh.

:43:22. > :43:26.Detroit now up to the number two seed and the other divisional

:43:27. > :43:38.winners would be Seattle and Atlanta and dock let's start with the firing

:43:39. > :43:41.of Jeff Fisher by the rounds. It is kind of no supplies, except last

:43:42. > :43:48.week they announced that at the start of the season, he had signed a

:43:49. > :43:53.contract extension. Mind-boggling. In the NFL, those contracts are

:43:54. > :44:01.guaranteed for the coaches. You give him a contract extension and fire

:44:02. > :44:03.him, you are guaranteeing him money for nothing! Now what will they

:44:04. > :44:12.want, the equivalent of a quarterback whisperer to help? That

:44:13. > :44:17.is absolutely what they will do. You will have to get a quarterback

:44:18. > :44:21.expert, someone who has worked well with young quarterbacks and then a

:44:22. > :44:27.defensive coordinator on top of that. They will look for a youngish

:44:28. > :44:32.person? I would think so. Someone who can relate. Josh Bowden Daniel

:44:33. > :44:37.is from the New England Patriots. That is my tip. Let us move to Miami

:44:38. > :44:44.and look at Ryan Tannehill, this will be a big blow for their playoff

:44:45. > :44:50.hopes. He was doing well. This was before any injury. It has been

:44:51. > :45:00.called the worst throw ever seen in the NFL. You don't want your parents

:45:01. > :45:05.to see that. The injury, that could be it for the season. This is how

:45:06. > :45:12.they were going, he was starting to slip the ball down the field. That

:45:13. > :45:18.is the second time he has done that, you cannot keep doing that. There

:45:19. > :45:23.has been a rule since 2008, ever since Tom Brady got injured like

:45:24. > :45:26.that, you cannot go low on a quarterback and this is the second

:45:27. > :45:31.time we have seen him do that. He knows better. He has been a much

:45:32. > :45:36.maligned quarterback in the past and things have started to develop for

:45:37. > :45:41.him this season and you fear, you must have some empathy. Things are

:45:42. > :45:46.starting to click. And the injury like that can damage it. Let's look

:45:47. > :45:51.at the division involving Pittsburgh and Baltimore and the Steelers now

:45:52. > :45:57.have the advantage in this division. The remaining games for the

:45:58. > :46:01.Steelers, all divisional, Cincinnati, Baltimore, then

:46:02. > :46:07.Cleveland. Pittsburgh and Cincinnati and they also have Philadelphia. I

:46:08. > :46:11.like Pittsburgh in that division. Towards the end of the season, these

:46:12. > :46:17.are teams that truly hate each other. Outside of the NFC East, this

:46:18. > :46:21.is another division that is trying to play, it will be interesting to

:46:22. > :46:25.see how things shape up. That game will decide it. Definitely. I also

:46:26. > :46:29.like Pittsburgh, I feel like offensively they have their three

:46:30. > :46:34.weapons back all played together and they are the start of take that big

:46:35. > :46:38.of a type of teeth that Ukuma Ta'ai boasting that -- team of stars to

:46:39. > :46:44.play well. Baltimore will be coming to the UK for the games next season.

:46:45. > :46:51.For London fixtures, Ravens and Jaguars, the saints and the Dolphins

:46:52. > :46:55.will be at Wembley. The Vikings and the Browns at Twickenham and the

:46:56. > :46:59.Cardinals and the Rams. All those fans from Cleveland will come over

:47:00. > :47:05.and make their thoughts known to you. I hope we stay safe. It is all

:47:06. > :47:13.about you, Mark. How dare you drive me into it. Let's look at your

:47:14. > :47:19.index. These are the top five teams in the NFL. We'll start with you,

:47:20. > :47:26.you keep changing your mind. He put Denver in and took out Atlanta and

:47:27. > :47:32.week... You've taken Denver out and put ad land in. I like Atlanta. They

:47:33. > :47:36.lost a game that you were not supposed to lose. You cannot credit

:47:37. > :47:43.mediocrity. We have to let them know that they played badly. The message

:47:44. > :47:49.obviously got through. Exactly, they came right back. Jason, your index

:47:50. > :48:00.is as follows,... That was last week this week... Instead exactly the

:48:01. > :48:05.same. You don't punish mediocrity. I figure the Seahawks can pull it out.

:48:06. > :48:10.He has the Raiders ahead of the Chiefs! He hasn't got time to answer

:48:11. > :48:17.that. We have to end the show. The NFL show this Saturday is after much

:48:18. > :48:22.of the day and week 14 of 17 wrapped up and the pretenders are now being

:48:23. > :48:31.exposed on a weekly basis. That is the teams in the playoff, not their

:48:32. > :48:38.spare! Don't it impersonate the Indianapolis Colts mascot! What will

:48:39. > :48:43.carry teams to the line and beyond into post-season? Momentum, that

:48:44. > :48:48.precious impetus, so hard to build, so easy to lose. It is never too

:48:49. > :48:54.late for a role to unravel, never too late to be brought down to

:48:55. > :48:57.earth, to be stopped in your tracks, opposing forces still at work, only

:48:58. > :48:59.in the NFL.
