:00:19. > :00:27.Hello, welcome back to the Olympic Games here in Rio. In Olympic Park

:00:28. > :00:30.it's very busy. It's a holiday. Lots of people taking may be their first

:00:31. > :00:33.opportunity to see an Olympic sport. We are very shortly going to be

:00:34. > :00:39.showing you live quarterfinal coverage from the tae. Four years

:00:40. > :00:42.ago a 19-year-old Jade Jones, who had been introduced to martial arts

:00:43. > :00:47.wench was just eight years old because she was a very naughty child

:00:48. > :00:50.-- introduced to martial arts when she was just eight years old because

:00:51. > :00:57.she was a very naughty child, and she has ended up Great Britain's

:00:58. > :01:03.first Olympic tae kwon do champion. COMMENTATOR:

:01:04. > :01:10.One life, and its defining moment. Jade Jones going for Britain's first

:01:11. > :01:16.ever gold medal in this sport. She can be enormously pleased with her

:01:17. > :01:21.start to this final. Jones has just doubled the lead. What a great

:01:22. > :01:27.second round that was. Just two minutes standing between Jade Jones

:01:28. > :01:35.and we know what. Point by point, the gold gets closer and closer. You

:01:36. > :01:39.little beauty! And the teenage kicking superstar from North Wales

:01:40. > :01:45.is the Olympic champion. She will remember this for ever.

:01:46. > :01:51.Jade Jones is in a very different position now, because she comes in

:01:52. > :01:52.as top seed and defending champion. This has just started. Let's join

:01:53. > :02:04.our commentary. COMMENTATOR:

:02:05. > :02:12.Find the target therefore the push kick and scores a shot underneath

:02:13. > :02:17.and a response that from Raheleh Asemani. She puts one on the board.

:02:18. > :02:20.An engaging contest. Fantastic, just feeling each other out, getting the

:02:21. > :02:31.distance right and just assessing the target. The target of causes the

:02:32. > :02:35.Olympic Games semifinal. Belgium in blue, Jade Jones coming forward

:02:36. > :02:43.there. Well covered by Raheleh Asemani. Flicking up to the head

:02:44. > :02:45.there from Jones, it's worth three points if it schools. It doesn't on

:02:46. > :02:58.this occasion. Tense times here as they look for

:02:59. > :03:02.the distance. Jones again tries that flicking shot upstairs. Getting

:03:03. > :03:06.closer. Yes, she looks that little bit nervous at first. It just

:03:07. > :03:11.depends on how much, obviously she wants it so badly, she just has to

:03:12. > :03:16.calm herself down. She manages to stay calm and find that three point

:03:17. > :03:21.head shot. Back kick as well. It's beginning to look good from the

:03:22. > :03:25.Flint fighter as she signalled the -- she wants the extra point for the

:03:26. > :03:31.back kick. I think it's already gone up. 7-1 to Jade Jones.

:03:32. > :03:39.What a way to end the first round there. Perfection from Jade Jones.

:03:40. > :03:44.Raheleh Asemani started well but what a response. Yes, what a

:03:45. > :03:49.response there. She got scored on and it was almost a wake-up call

:03:50. > :03:51.then she started to go forwards on the attack. 7-1 after the first

:03:52. > :04:02.round, perfect. This is the initial book -- push

:04:03. > :04:04.pics, scoring one point apiece, then it was the Flex ability and timing

:04:05. > :04:18.of Jones that put her ahead. She'll be happy coming into this

:04:19. > :04:22.second pairing with that lead and full of confidence now, she has felt

:04:23. > :04:27.her out, she knows what she's got to do.

:04:28. > :04:35.Advice there from Paul Green, her coach. Don't follow it, keep away

:04:36. > :04:39.from her, you don't need to go for the second score. Jade Jones of

:04:40. > :04:44.Great Britain in red, Raheleh Asemani, we mentioned the back story

:04:45. > :04:48.of the Belgian, she has fought against great adversity and she's

:04:49. > :04:52.going to fight hard here. She gets a nice push kick there, the Belgian,

:04:53. > :04:58.scoring under the guard. A 5-point gain. That was Jade Jones, wasn't

:04:59. > :05:03.it, just trying the reverse and getting caught, but the Belgian now

:05:04. > :05:10.two points on the board but Jade going forwards.

:05:11. > :05:17.Raheleh Asemani response, have a little fly look at the scoreboard

:05:18. > :05:21.there, she will need to keep her concentration and focus because the

:05:22. > :05:25.fighter from Flint knows how to find the target. The referee advising

:05:26. > :05:26.them to get on with it, tries the head kick, Jones. This one beginning

:05:27. > :05:45.to develop into a real battle. Jones just blocking and checking,

:05:46. > :05:49.trying to fake keeping as Amani on the back foot, the Belgian trying

:05:50. > :05:53.again with that front leg -- keeping Asemani on the back foot. Difficult

:05:54. > :05:58.to find a way through there. Jade Jones so strong in that cover. Yes,

:05:59. > :06:02.just keeping the distance, isn't she? She doesn't want to take any

:06:03. > :06:11.chances. If she finishes this round 7-2 up, think she will be happy.

:06:12. > :06:15.Goes again with the front leg push kick there, Jade Jones, looks for

:06:16. > :06:20.the head shot, putting the pressure on the Belgian Raheleh Asemani. A

:06:21. > :06:28.good block there from Asemani. She's done well to hang on into this.

:06:29. > :06:32.Paul Green the British coach advising its the last ten seconds.

:06:33. > :06:38.It's been an engrossing second round, a good one for Jade Jones.

:06:39. > :06:41.She tries to go again, just with one last turning kick. Well blocked by

:06:42. > :06:49.the Belgian. The end of the second round. Five points to the good.

:06:50. > :06:58.We'll never find out what those two main things are, but from your own

:06:59. > :07:02.perspective, Neil? As -- Asemani looked reticent. You are going in

:07:03. > :07:08.there for the attack in the case of the counter and that reverse kick

:07:09. > :07:13.there, just Jade Jones doing enough, just wanted to stay ahead, 7-2 now

:07:14. > :07:19.is going to take her into the third and final round. As you say, that

:07:20. > :07:22.back kick almost scoring again. Asemani covering well. Can she

:07:23. > :07:38.recover in this final round? Don't open yourself, you can do it.

:07:39. > :07:45.Right? Don't let her finish off... No analysis needed, you heard that

:07:46. > :07:51.loud and clear. Raheleh Asemani from Belgium faces Jade Jones, the Welsh

:07:52. > :07:56.warrior working hard. There's a 5-point gap on the back foot.

:07:57. > :07:59.Controlling the distance well. Yes, she scores well with that push kick,

:08:00. > :08:06.doesn't she, she really does, gets a lot of points with it.

:08:07. > :08:13.The stress on the one lake to have the balance to go forward but it's

:08:14. > :08:18.turning a bit one-sided here for the Belgian, Raheleh Asemani. Can she

:08:19. > :08:24.provide a big shop here? A change of tactics, perhaps, going backwards

:08:25. > :08:30.and forwards in a straight line. Jones beginning to read her. Jones

:08:31. > :08:31.just wanted to close it up quickly there, didn't want to be caught on

:08:32. > :08:41.the rebound. Just over a minute left in this

:08:42. > :08:46.engrossing quarterfinal. Jade Jones pretty much in second gear here. She

:08:47. > :08:53.doesn't need to work too hard at the moment. Asemani trying to go high.

:08:54. > :08:59.That was taken for holding, if you get two it's a point added to your

:09:00. > :09:03.opponent. Just 55 seconds left in the third round, Jade Jones in a

:09:04. > :09:06.commanding position. She is and Asemani just gripping the legs there

:09:07. > :09:13.to try to stop the lead coming up high. Another point, which will

:09:14. > :09:20.really add to the score that is already up there. Paul Green, the

:09:21. > :09:27.British coach, advising to throw the reverse. Raheleh Asemani going

:09:28. > :09:32.forward, trying to walk in. She has to put the pressure on here, the

:09:33. > :09:37.Belgian, 25 seconds left. The back kick, well blocked by Belgian's

:09:38. > :09:42.Raheleh Asemani, the 27-year-old. She's had a difficult route into the

:09:43. > :09:45.Olympic Games, with the refugee status, but there is no refuge at

:09:46. > :09:52.all for her here because Jade Jones in five fashion, this young fighter

:09:53. > :09:57.from Flint, Olympic champion, tries with the head kick to close the

:09:58. > :10:04.school. She closes the third round and an excellent win. Credit to tip

:10:05. > :10:10.Rafah -- Raheleh Asemani of Belgium. She was in it as a contest. But in

:10:11. > :10:11.the end, you can only have one winner. Jade Jones of Great Britain

:10:12. > :10:23.into the semifinal. CLARE BALDING:

:10:24. > :10:28.Jade Jones' semifinal, we will bring you that live at 9pm and she will

:10:29. > :10:33.fight Nikita Glasnovic, who with Swedish, and has just defeated her

:10:34. > :10:37.finish opponent, Suvi Mikkonen. Some boxing and the light heavyweight

:10:38. > :10:38.bout between Cuba and Kazakhstan has just taken place. This is what

:10:39. > :10:47.happened. COMMENTATOR:

:10:48. > :10:51.We are under way, it's the gold medal bout in the 81 kilograms light

:10:52. > :10:56.heavyweight division between boxers who have faced off three times

:10:57. > :11:00.before, the man in red operating out of the Orthodox stands at present is

:11:01. > :11:03.Julio Cesar La Cruz, the reigning three-time World Championship

:11:04. > :11:07.gold-medallist, the number one ranked boxer in the world and

:11:08. > :11:11.tournament number one seed. His opponent operating out of the

:11:12. > :11:15.southpaw stance wearing blue with Adilbek Niyazymbetov, 27 years of

:11:16. > :11:19.age, the tournament number two seed, ranked number two in the world he

:11:20. > :11:21.comes in as the reigning Olympic silver-medallist and is that two

:11:22. > :11:25.time World Championship silver-medallist and both of those

:11:26. > :11:28.silver medals and World Championships came because he was

:11:29. > :11:35.outpointed by the man in red ink gold medal bouts in that global

:11:36. > :11:39.tournament. What's going to be crucial for the crews here is he can

:11:40. > :11:43.control the pace. We've seen him many times, he slows it down, he

:11:44. > :11:49.always boxes to his style, his tempo, and it's what can Myers at

:11:50. > :11:57.off do differently here because he has to raise his game, my attempt.

:11:58. > :12:00.-- Niyazymbetov. He will be difficult to pin down. You have to

:12:01. > :12:04.raise the tempo, go through the gears and put this fellow, this

:12:05. > :12:14.Cuban, under a bit more pressure. Counter right hand from La Cruz was

:12:15. > :12:17.a beauty, as Niyazymbetov was targeting the body with the southpaw

:12:18. > :12:23.left. A good right hand to the body for the man in red. A mistake here

:12:24. > :12:25.from either boxer is going to be capitalised on instantly, so once

:12:26. > :12:31.again the concentration is absolute of both of them operating behind low

:12:32. > :12:36.health guards. So important the first round, who can get it under

:12:37. > :12:39.their belt, it becomes a classic case of your opponent changing, you

:12:40. > :12:44.are having to change tactics once you've got the first round. If you

:12:45. > :12:49.have won it, it's very important here, Nayar is a bit of is not too

:12:50. > :12:55.bad but La Cruz on the outside, this is what he likes to do. Niyazymbetov

:12:56. > :13:01.has got to be quick with the feet, through the punches in bunches.

:13:02. > :13:07.Getting tangled between the southpaw and Orthodox boxer. The Cruz is

:13:08. > :13:19.forced to take up an unfamiliar position. The canvas, thankfully no

:13:20. > :13:25.injuries sustained. The Cruz is an expert at long range boxing. He can

:13:26. > :13:29.mix it up as well, La Cruz, and occasionally that's where he comes

:13:30. > :13:35.undone because he doesn't keep those hands up at all. But he is

:13:36. > :13:44.comfortable on the ropes, very difficult to land a shot on him.

:13:45. > :13:51.Terrific movement demonstrated by Julio Cesar La Cruz. In the closing

:13:52. > :14:03.20 seconds or so, Adilbek Niyazymbetov was reduced to chasing

:14:04. > :14:08.shadows. It will come down to what the judges prefer but Niyazymbetov

:14:09. > :14:14.coming forward, missing the target, trying to get his punches off but

:14:15. > :14:20.the Cruz hit a move, find the space and time again, working on the back

:14:21. > :14:24.foot, in and out with that right hand, Niyazymbetov again walks onto

:14:25. > :14:29.that shot there. La Cruz appeared to do the better work, but let's have a

:14:30. > :14:32.look at the scores. Across the board, the Cuban gets it. He's in

:14:33. > :14:51.control. So into the second round of a

:14:52. > :14:55.contest between men who have been pretty much the best light

:14:56. > :14:59.heavyweight boxers in the world in Olympic style boxing for the last

:15:00. > :15:03.five years but neither of them have an Olympic gold medal to show for

:15:04. > :15:08.it. The man in red has three World Championship gold medals in what was

:15:09. > :15:16.perhaps the upset of the 2012 boxing tournament Darmon. He was eliminated

:15:17. > :15:23.at the quarterfinal stage by Brazil. The pace suiting three -- La Cruz

:15:24. > :15:25.down to the ground. If you remember Niyazymbetov in his semifinal

:15:26. > :15:29.against Joshua Buatsi demonstrated lovely skills on the back foot,

:15:30. > :15:33.because he is a back foot counterpuncher himself, but here he

:15:34. > :15:38.has to change his tactics and go on the front foot. Can he do it? It's

:15:39. > :15:42.an Olympic final. You've got to be able to do both styles. Niyazymbetov

:15:43. > :15:44.is being forced into a way of boxing that he's not used to, because he

:15:45. > :16:02.normally sits himself. Niyazymbetov was declared a loser on

:16:03. > :16:07.count back several years ago, 15-15 against a Russian and the count back

:16:08. > :16:11.went against him. Nothing in it and he still doesn't have an Olympic

:16:12. > :16:16.gold to show for it. That is his motivation to come out on top in

:16:17. > :16:19.this, his fourth encounter against La Cruz but he has yet to have his

:16:20. > :16:26.hand raised in this particular rivalry. Psychologically coming into

:16:27. > :16:32.the contest, it isn't good for Niyazymbetov. He isn't boxing the

:16:33. > :16:37.way he should here. Not boxing at the right tempo, he is too slow. He

:16:38. > :16:41.must do something different. It is like he is hypnotised by the man,

:16:42. > :16:46.that's what La Cruz does, he slows down the pace, by matter what the

:16:47. > :16:51.opponent, he has the ability to slow it down and box at his tempo. That's

:16:52. > :16:59.why he's a very talented and successful boxer. A good right hand

:17:00. > :17:02.from La Cruz, and a left-hand coming nearly at the same time from

:17:03. > :17:07.Niyazymbetov wasn't far away. Niyazymbetov isn't far away,

:17:08. > :17:10.stalking his man. La Cruz demonstrating that wonderful ability

:17:11. > :17:16.to navigate the ring and avoid the punches coming his way. Almost as if

:17:17. > :17:20.he is blessed with ESP, the manner in which he can see the punches

:17:21. > :17:28.coming, moved back, just his feet and make his man miss by a matter of

:17:29. > :17:35.millimetres sometimes. A good right hand to the body from La Cruz. Who

:17:36. > :17:40.can produce some quality in the closing ten seconds? It is La Cruz

:17:41. > :17:47.who pulls the trigger first and what a counter left-hand. La Cruz at his

:17:48. > :17:50.best in a microcosm, making his man miss and when the punch is still

:17:51. > :17:57.coming back after falling short he finds himself getting a shot on the

:17:58. > :18:02.opponent's chin with a cheeky shot. This fellow is struggling a bit with

:18:03. > :18:06.the distance, range and movement of his opponent. His feet are looking

:18:07. > :18:11.to slow. He's following his opponent rather than cutting off the ring

:18:12. > :18:17.space. You are up against a maestro of a mover in La Cruz. Talented

:18:18. > :18:22.hands, but very low indeed. He was caught with a shot and another one

:18:23. > :18:27.from Niyazymbetov. A bit better. Falling short with that shot.

:18:28. > :18:33.Towards the end of the mount the skills from La Cruz were exceptional

:18:34. > :18:35.but let's look at the scores. Across-the-board, Niyazymbetov must

:18:36. > :18:45.produce a knockout shot against a moving opponent, moving away from

:18:46. > :18:51.him. That's difficult. So, the third and final round. Niyazymbetov, the

:18:52. > :18:56.second ranked boxer in the world, trailing by two points with all

:18:57. > :19:02.three judges in this contest between two of the most skilful operators in

:19:03. > :19:08.the world at 81 kilograms. As in the case in their previous three

:19:09. > :19:14.encounters, it is the man in red who is dictating the terms and the Tom

:19:15. > :19:19.Powell -- tempo on which the bout is being contested and Niyazymbetov

:19:20. > :19:22.can't let any effective leather go and stop the man from moving. Good

:19:23. > :19:26.right hand to the chest from La Cruz. Niyazymbetov needs the punch

:19:27. > :19:32.of a lifetime if he hopes to eliminate the compass meant of

:19:33. > :19:39.Atlanta 1996 and claim light heavyweight gold for Kazakhstan. --

:19:40. > :19:44.the accomplishment. That was Kazakhstan's first medal of any

:19:45. > :19:50.colour, taking the 81 kilograms light heavyweight gold, and also a

:19:51. > :19:57.trophy winner. Niyazymbetov has his name in the box by getting that

:19:58. > :20:02.silver four years ago but he is desperate for Olympic golf. At this

:20:03. > :20:08.tempo it doesn't look like it's going to happen as we approach the

:20:09. > :20:14.midpoint. He needs a knockout now. Skills again from La Cruz. It hasn't

:20:15. > :20:18.been a tempo change from Niyazymbetov, he is still waiting

:20:19. > :20:25.for far too long. He isn't used to boxing on the front foot. Normally

:20:26. > :20:29.he is a counterpuncher himself. Losing the first round meant he had

:20:30. > :20:36.to change something but he hasn't done it, he has kept the same tempo,

:20:37. > :20:39.suiting La Cruz. Let's face it, the Cuban, this has been their bogey

:20:40. > :20:44.division, light heavyweight, none of them have won in the light

:20:45. > :20:48.heavyweight division from Cuba. La Cruz is cruising to victory here and

:20:49. > :20:52.it would be a special victory for him, to be the first Cuban to win

:20:53. > :20:57.gold in this division if he gets through the last 50 seconds. Not

:20:58. > :21:00.just for him but for the entire Caribbean island and more

:21:01. > :21:08.importantly, just as significantly it would complete Cuban success in

:21:09. > :21:12.every weight division. They've won Olympic gold in every other weight

:21:13. > :21:19.class apart from light heavyweight. They haven't had a muddle in this

:21:20. > :21:26.division since 1980. -- a medal. But that drought is coming to an end. In

:21:27. > :21:31.these closing seconds, La Cruz is about to join the ranks of his

:21:32. > :21:37.illustrious compatriots by being crowned as the Olympic champion. Up

:21:38. > :21:43.on his toes. Enjoying his work. Treating us to the ballistic grace

:21:44. > :21:45.that he has used to such great effect to dominate the World

:21:46. > :21:51.Championships for the last five years. And now on the Olympic stage.

:21:52. > :21:55.The man is producing some salsa on the canvas of the boxing ring in

:21:56. > :22:01.acknowledgement of a majestic display that will see him be crowned

:22:02. > :22:06.as the Olympic light heavyweight champion, Cuba's first ever light

:22:07. > :22:13.heavyweight champion. In the Olympic programme. He was once again almost

:22:14. > :22:19.impossible to attack cleanly. Tremendous from La Cruz, you must

:22:20. > :22:23.admiring, two admire him, if you people were booing at the end.

:22:24. > :22:26.Boxing like this requires exceptional reactions and that's

:22:27. > :22:33.what he's got. They must be second to none. La Cruz for me, a wonderful

:22:34. > :22:37.boxer who has had a gym and a performance and AJ Mendes

:22:38. > :22:40.tournament. -- a tremendous performance. -- tremendous

:22:41. > :22:57.tournament. Ladies and gentlemen, the winner by

:22:58. > :23:16.unanimous decision and the Olympic champion... In the red corner...

:23:17. > :23:23.Julio Cesar La Cruz. Julio Cesar La Cruz is the Olympic champion. The

:23:24. > :23:26.golden smile, beaming from ear to ear as the three-time World

:23:27. > :23:32.Championship gold medallist complete is his collection by adding Olympic

:23:33. > :23:40.gold to his illustrious roster. What a fantastic display from Julio Cesar

:23:41. > :23:45.La Cruz. Four contests, barely touched throughout the four

:23:46. > :23:49.completed contests that he fought. Applauding and acknowledging the

:23:50. > :23:53.support he is receiving at Riocentro pavilion six. Warm embrace for

:23:54. > :23:59.Niyazymbetov, getting his third successive Olympic silver. He met

:24:00. > :24:03.his master once again in the form of Julio Cesar La Cruz and for the

:24:04. > :24:07.fourth time in their long-running rivalry, for the third time in

:24:08. > :24:15.global competition, the gold-medal bout, it is Julio Cesar La Cruz who

:24:16. > :24:18.comes out on top. La Cruz is the Olympic champion and he completes

:24:19. > :24:23.Cuba's Olympic gold medal set in men's boxing. They have now claimed

:24:24. > :24:29.gold medals in all 12 weight divisions including those that have

:24:30. > :24:36.been discontinued. I'm confined joy for Julio Cesar La Cruz. Two

:24:37. > :24:41.unconfined. Joining the illustrious roll call of men from the Caribbean

:24:42. > :24:50.island who have been crowned the Olympic champion. That was the 257

:24:51. > :24:54.fight we've seen in this arena so far in the Olympics and probably

:24:55. > :25:02.firstly the best and a staggering performance by the Cuban, wasn't it?

:25:03. > :25:05.I looked at La Cruz's hands, his smile, his footwork and his

:25:06. > :25:10.confidence, all of that wrapped into one, he is a phenomenal man and he's

:25:11. > :25:14.done really well. Because a lot of people watch amateur boxing once

:25:15. > :25:16.every four years and the Games, that made you realise how much footwork

:25:17. > :25:21.is actually the key to everything else. Which I'm learning now. He has

:25:22. > :25:25.been in the guide for a long -- in the game for a long time. A great

:25:26. > :25:30.role model, with the other Olympians. I think he might have

:25:31. > :25:34.learned from these great champions. I'm studying these guys and I'm

:25:35. > :25:39.seeing about the footwork. Not only good hands and power and a good

:25:40. > :25:44.defence, your feet can do you so much justice. Don't carry your hands

:25:45. > :25:50.that low, though! I have been taught to keep them up. You go with the

:25:51. > :25:55.flow. That style can't be taught. They work with what he's got and he

:25:56. > :26:00.is the Olympic champion, so credit to him and his coaches. Talking

:26:01. > :26:04.about Olympic champions, we saw Nicola Adams, she is through to the

:26:05. > :26:12.final on Saturday, what do you think? See is a phenomenal talent,

:26:13. > :26:15.not the same style as La Cruz but when we talk about her style and

:26:16. > :26:19.confidence, and a woman doing it with a lot to fight for, putting

:26:20. > :26:23.women's boxing on the map, I think she will prove herself once again.

:26:24. > :26:29.She has done it once so she can do it again. Good to talk to you.

:26:30. > :26:35.Nicola Adams committee time on Saturday for the gold-medal bout.

:26:36. > :26:38.Thanks, fantastic to have Joshua here. The wind is picking up meaning

:26:39. > :26:43.that at the top of the ten metre platform it must be getting quite

:26:44. > :26:48.strong. We are going to the Maria Lenk Aquatics Centre for live

:26:49. > :26:54.diving. Tonia Couch is in action. Should I be worrying about the wind?

:26:55. > :27:01.I think I should be worried because I'm going to be eating my curls! It

:27:02. > :27:05.is going to be tricky for the divers, isn't it? I'm not sure how

:27:06. > :27:09.much is on the board, we are certainly exposed here but we have

:27:10. > :27:12.seen that it can affect the diving, especially the handstand when they

:27:13. > :27:19.are balanced on their tiptoes. Interesting when we get going. I

:27:20. > :27:23.have so much respect for Tonia Couch, she is the one that boys and

:27:24. > :27:28.girls should look up to. She is fearless, upside down, backwards.

:27:29. > :27:34.Put into context her career, she has been at the top for a long time.

:27:35. > :27:37.Since the World Championships in 2009, every two years she has been

:27:38. > :27:41.in the top ten and she is back in the top ten today. Everyone starts

:27:42. > :27:46.at zero, she has a chance to mix it up with the best. How tough is it

:27:47. > :27:52.going to be for her to get onto the podium? A big ask, we have the

:27:53. > :27:56.Chinese divers who have been streets ahead but everything to play for,

:27:57. > :28:01.will they be affected by the conditions? It is colder and it is

:28:02. > :28:05.windy. It is dicey and dangerous, we were worried about the sun and

:28:06. > :28:11.shadows but it may be the wind that causes problems. Jack said it didn't

:28:12. > :28:14.put him off because he is British. Let's hope that Tonia, even though

:28:15. > :28:23.she is from down south, can say the same! Thanks, we will bring you that

:28:24. > :28:28.diving on BBC One. It is the final of the ten metre platform, Tonia

:28:29. > :28:32.Couch qualified in tenth place. Realistically, top five would be

:28:33. > :28:34.sensational but as we've seen, we've had unexpectedly brilliant

:28:35. > :28:39.performances and later on BBC One I will talk to our latest bronze

:28:40. > :28:46.medallist, Chris Langridge and his Badminton partner. Winning the

:28:47. > :28:52.gold-medal. We saw gold and silver for the Brownlee brothers in

:28:53. > :28:55.triathlon and in the sailing, a silver, so there has been a

:28:56. > :28:59.capsizing incident. And in athletics, this is what you have do

:29:00. > :29:06.look forward to, it is the men's 200 metre final. First, the rerun of the

:29:07. > :29:14.relay because the USA appealed against their disqualification.

:29:15. > :29:20.The same bulb is in the men's 200 metre final at 2:30am. -- Usain

:29:21. > :29:26.Bolt. I'm sure you've seen him winning in his semifinal and turning

:29:27. > :29:29.to an athlete who had the temerity to challenge him, smiling and

:29:30. > :29:32.looking and going, hay, and still winning. Join us on BBC One.

:29:33. > :29:34.Coverage to America's biggest

:29:35. > :29:41.and busiest city. We're meeting the people who work

:29:42. > :29:44.around the clock...
