:00:53. > :01:00.Good afternoon to you. Our host city is feeling a lot happier about

:01:01. > :01:04.Olympic life here. Good day to you. It took Great Britain five days to

:01:05. > :01:08.strike gold in our home Olympics last time, it has taken our hosts

:01:09. > :01:21.three days and it has come in the judo arena from a female judoka

:01:22. > :01:30.Rafaela Silva who took gold with frantic, emotional scenes there. And

:01:31. > :01:36.there were cheers echoing here. She had made the breakthrough for

:01:37. > :01:43.Brazil. This is the woman who four years ago went out early in London

:01:44. > :01:48.and suffered some pretty racist abuse on Twitter. She almost gave up

:01:49. > :01:53.because she was so traumatised by the experience, but that is her

:01:54. > :01:58.response. A fantastic gold medal in these games. It is fantastic for

:01:59. > :02:02.Brazil. They are targeting at least five, that is the most they have

:02:03. > :02:06.ever managed to achieve in a single Olympic Games. As you can imagine,

:02:07. > :02:12.the reaction here has been overwhelming. Gold from the city of

:02:13. > :02:14.God, because this lady is from a further love. They are celebrating

:02:15. > :02:34.that. -- the valour -- favela. That has been the wondrous response

:02:35. > :02:38.in Brazil. They are off and running in their target in their best ever

:02:39. > :02:43.home games. As for Great Britain, they are trying to achieve their

:02:44. > :02:53.best ever away games, 48 medals in total will do that. As you know,

:02:54. > :03:00.life is all about hitting targets. It is certainly a way of life for

:03:01. > :03:10.archery's Naomi Folkard. We will be live for that. It has been tricky to

:03:11. > :03:13.stay on track in the regatta so far. They are about to get on the

:03:14. > :03:22.straight and narrow. The quarters and semifinals today. The final day

:03:23. > :03:27.of the three-day event puzzle. Rate Britain's team in eighth place right

:03:28. > :03:34.now. And after two Olympic silvers, can David Florence claim a belated

:03:35. > :03:40.golden gift, the day after his 34th birthday. This is our plan in this

:03:41. > :04:13.programme until about seven o'clock. David Florence is growing much one

:04:14. > :04:18.of the men of the moment. There are so many other dates for

:04:19. > :04:24.your diary on this fourth day of the Olympic Games. These are some of the

:04:25. > :04:27.once we think you should make a mental note of. After the men's near

:04:28. > :04:34.miss in the team gymnastics, tonight is the turn of the women. That will

:04:35. > :04:44.be fantastic from eight o'clock. Swimming, it is the Chad le Clos

:04:45. > :04:50.Michael Phelps match. That will be a thrilling race. The final of the

:04:51. > :04:57.canoe slalom is at about 710 PM. And Daley and Goodfellow bronze tonight,

:04:58. > :05:03.it now hangs over to Tonia Couch and Lois Toulson. No woman has earned a

:05:04. > :05:08.medal in 50 years. They will go later this evening. Three of Great

:05:09. > :05:17.Britain's medals of the four have been won in water so far. The latest

:05:18. > :05:22.was in the men's ten metres synchro. It was Tom Daley and Dan Goodfellow.

:05:23. > :05:30.Those two have had to stick together for ten months when they paired up

:05:31. > :05:34.in tandem for this event. Dan moved in as Tom's flatmate, that is some

:05:35. > :05:37.kind of worklife balance but together and in tandem they shared a

:05:38. > :05:52.very special moment last night. Here we are the open air diving

:05:53. > :05:58.arena where Tom Daley and Dan Goodfellow have a really good chance

:05:59. > :06:03.of a medal in the men's ten metre synchronised diving platform. It is

:06:04. > :06:06.all about power, precision, technical difficulty and of course

:06:07. > :06:29.synchronisation. They cannot afford to make a mistake.

:06:30. > :06:36.That looked pretty good. I don't know what it is like down there, but

:06:37. > :06:44.up here in the stands it is getting increasingly windy. Still in third,

:06:45. > :06:49.halfway through. This is the penultimate dive for Tom

:06:50. > :06:57.and Daniel. They only have two more chances to claw it back.

:06:58. > :07:06.Yes, let's go, boys, well done! That is the best dive this pair have done

:07:07. > :07:16.today. This will have to be so, so good.

:07:17. > :07:24.Oh, my goodness me! They have done everything. Look at the expressions

:07:25. > :07:29.on their faces. Let's wait and see. They have done it! They have done

:07:30. > :07:33.it! They have done it. Tom Daley always

:07:34. > :07:39.said he would not compete in the synchro unless there was a chance of

:07:40. > :07:44.a medal and they have done it. There was no beating the Americans or the

:07:45. > :07:49.Chinese today but a fantastic bronze medal for Tom Daley and Daniel

:07:50. > :07:52.Goodfellow. What does that mean for Tom Daley going into the individual?

:07:53. > :07:57.We will have to wait and see. We were over the moon and I kind of

:07:58. > :08:00.pounced on Dan at the end and I did not realise we were going backwards

:08:01. > :08:07.until I was in the water! I just went with it, I thought I don't care

:08:08. > :08:12.any more! Tom is reported to have said, top bombing after he won that

:08:13. > :08:16.one. It is his second bronze medal. He was fourth in this particular

:08:17. > :08:22.event in London so redemption for him and a first for down as well.

:08:23. > :08:27.That was a great moment, I am sure you enjoyed watching it with us. It

:08:28. > :08:31.is the women's event this evening. Also this evening, it will be the

:08:32. > :08:38.women's team gymnastics. We have been talking up Simone Biles from

:08:39. > :08:42.America who has been one of the greatest gymnasts but she has not

:08:43. > :08:46.been able to strut her stuff in the Olympics. She was three months too

:08:47. > :08:48.young to compete in London four years ago. She is about to explode

:08:49. > :09:17.into your consciousness, believe me. # Somebody got to raise a little

:09:18. > :09:44.hell... Oh, yes, Simone Biles. It will be

:09:45. > :09:48.fascinating because she could win a possible five gold medals. The first

:09:49. > :09:53.of them could come tonight in the team event. Also going in the team

:09:54. > :09:57.event, Great Britain's quintet have qualified and they know they can mix

:09:58. > :10:02.it with the best after a bronze medal at the World Championships

:10:03. > :10:12.last year in Glasgow. I guess the headline act is a sister act, the

:10:13. > :10:17.Downey sisters in that team. There are five siblings altogether. We

:10:18. > :10:21.have an older sister Gemma. I am second oldest. We have a brother

:10:22. > :10:25.Alex, then Josh and Ellie is the youngest. We did not know much about

:10:26. > :10:30.the sport. We got into it because my friend at school did it. I enjoyed

:10:31. > :10:34.it and then it rapidly has to take over your life. When any came onto

:10:35. > :10:41.the scene and started competing, it is a nightmare trying to do

:10:42. > :10:44.everything together. It has definitely been a different

:10:45. > :10:47.upbringing. Most of my life I have been in the gym. I enjoy spending

:10:48. > :10:52.time with my family outside of the gym. Can you remember when Becky

:10:53. > :10:59.first made the Olympic squad? You were nine at the time? Not really. I

:11:00. > :11:04.remember watching her on TV. What a performance from the 16-year-old

:11:05. > :11:09.from Nottingham! I just remember waking up early and watching her in

:11:10. > :11:14.her all-around final. I thought Becky has got there, I can get

:11:15. > :11:19.there, too. She has definitely been a big inspiration for me. You are

:11:20. > :11:25.sisters and get on most of the time? Have you ever fallen out? I would

:11:26. > :11:29.never say we have fallen out badly. We just irritate each other

:11:30. > :11:32.sometimes! When you have your little sister coming into the team, does

:11:33. > :11:38.that give you extra motivation because you like being in the team

:11:39. > :11:40.together? I would not say extra motivation but as she was

:11:41. > :11:45.progressing through juniors, we both knew there was a potential we could

:11:46. > :11:50.be in a situation we are now and after London I had a choice about

:11:51. > :11:54.whether I wanted to carry on or not. Deep down I really loved the sport

:11:55. > :11:59.and I felt I had more to give. Now I feel like this whole team of girls

:12:00. > :12:05.has gelled together really well. It is so exciting now we are in the

:12:06. > :12:13.position to be fighting for medals. What do you fall out about? Normally

:12:14. > :12:22.Becky's moaning irritates me! She pinches my stuff!

:12:23. > :12:26.Coming into my first year I was not expecting to achieve as much. The

:12:27. > :12:31.Europeans was a big shock for me. I wanted to do the best I could do. To

:12:32. > :12:35.come third was definitely overwhelming and amazing but it gave

:12:36. > :12:41.me a confidence boost. I had some ups and downs myself but the team

:12:42. > :12:49.did an amazing job. That was a shame.

:12:50. > :12:55.When she had a mistake we did not let it affect us too much. We did

:12:56. > :12:59.not think we would be able to medal if we had any mistakes but we said,

:13:00. > :13:03.we can let it get to us and crumble or we can fight back and that is

:13:04. > :13:07.probably one of the hardest routines I had to do, going up after Ellie.

:13:08. > :13:14.The rest of the girls did an amazing job and came out with a medal. We

:13:15. > :13:19.are registered in the same things like music and our clothes style is

:13:20. > :13:25.similar. Our sense of humour is the same. We get each other's jokes. We

:13:26. > :13:28.have far too many jokes! Going to the Olympics is amazing and if we

:13:29. > :13:33.can share that together and the fact that the team is doing so well and

:13:34. > :13:38.we could be fighting for a medal and so mini other medal potentials, it

:13:39. > :13:42.is very exciting. You probably saw Ellie in the

:13:43. > :13:47.qualification have what looked like a pretty nasty fall on the floor.

:13:48. > :13:52.She got up and said she had crunched her neck a bit but these girls are

:13:53. > :13:56.made of tough stuff. She will be back and ready to go in the team

:13:57. > :14:00.final eight o'clock your time. We are going live in about ten minutes

:14:01. > :14:06.time to the Sambodromo for archery. If you were in the land of nod for

:14:07. > :14:12.the swimming finals last night, that is perfectly understandable. But we

:14:13. > :14:16.were watching. In the women's 200 metres individual medley, we had two

:14:17. > :14:20.Britons trying to get into the final. Sadly, it was not Hannah

:14:21. > :14:23.Miley's day but Siobhan-Marie O'Connor, the 20-year-old from Bath,

:14:24. > :14:36.did go through and in some style. Siobhan-Marie O'Connor of Great

:14:37. > :14:44.Britain in lane four. Hannah Miley in lane seven. A great start from

:14:45. > :14:51.Siobhan-Marie O'Connor. Absolutely. Alicia Coutts going with her which

:14:52. > :15:00.is not surprising. Siobhan-Marie O'Connor really asserting herself in

:15:01. > :15:07.this race. Fantastic first 50 metres from O'Connor. It is something she

:15:08. > :15:16.needs to practice their bid for the final, she didn't quite go perfectly

:15:17. > :15:30.on the turn. This is what she might struggle on with Hosszu. Trying to

:15:31. > :15:37.enter that water with the hands closer together. Head-to-head now,

:15:38. > :15:43.neck and neck. They have left the others behind. O'Connor, the British

:15:44. > :15:46.record holder for the 100 metres break

:15:47. > :15:59.-- the hundred metres breaststroke. She broke the record up in Edinburgh

:16:00. > :16:08.just a couple of months ago and goodness me she looks fantastic at

:16:09. > :16:16.it now. Hannah Miley slightly out of it right now, but Siobhan-Marie

:16:17. > :16:22.O'Connor will be the fastest in this particular semifinal by a good old

:16:23. > :16:31.body length. Just a tenth of a second off the British record pace.

:16:32. > :16:34.She will need this in the final tomorrow, but a brilliant victory in

:16:35. > :16:41.the semifinal. Siobhan-Marie O'Connor is going to break the

:16:42. > :16:47.British record, I'm sure. 2:07.50 seven. She has broken the British

:16:48. > :16:56.record by seven tenths of a second. 2:7.5, that is a wonderful swim. The

:16:57. > :17:00.Olympic record is set by anybody in any Olympics ever and she was just

:17:01. > :17:11.0.1 seconds away from that record, which was led by Katinka Hosszu,

:17:12. > :17:21.sorry, Wen, in London back in 2012. Katinka Hosszu swam 2:07.03 -- two

:17:22. > :17:32.zero. Interesting straight arm freestyle.

:17:33. > :17:36.She missed the 200 medley in Edinburgh but she certainly

:17:37. > :17:41.understands that feeling in the last 50 metres. Look at that! She is

:17:42. > :17:50.delighted and so she should be. Fantastic swim. Well done, British

:17:51. > :17:55.record. You should be very pleased. Dave just said to me, try and repeat

:17:56. > :18:01.what you did this morning. I'm really pleased with that time. I

:18:02. > :18:07.really wanted to get that time for a long time. I noticed you made sure

:18:08. > :18:15.you spotted your parents and your family as you came out, that is

:18:16. > :18:20.obviously important to you. I saw the team but I didn't see my mum and

:18:21. > :18:26.dad. They're definitely here, yeah, which means a lot. It just means

:18:27. > :18:32.everything that they are here, because it's nice to know that

:18:33. > :18:35.they're not that far-away. The guys are saying that you're going to have

:18:36. > :18:49.to take her on, which means it's kind of her backstroke versus your

:18:50. > :18:57.rest -- your breaststroke. I need to give her a race but I'll so have to

:18:58. > :19:06.do my own race. My backstroke is nowhere near as good as hers, but my

:19:07. > :19:09.breaststroke has come on leaps and bounds.

:19:10. > :19:16.Siobhan-Marie O'Connor is the fastest qualifier for that final and

:19:17. > :19:20.Katinka Hosszu of Hungary is potentially the woman to beat and

:19:21. > :19:24.she already has two bowled medals, the only double gold medallist in

:19:25. > :19:34.these games so far, had she would be the last, I'm sure. A quick

:19:35. > :19:39.reflection on one of the finals last night featuring James Guy of Great

:19:40. > :19:43.Britain, but his route to this final in terms of his qualification had

:19:44. > :19:45.been a little tricky. He knew that a medal was going to be very hard to

:19:46. > :19:58.come by. A fantastic start on the right-hand

:19:59. > :20:03.side of your shot look at that, he is a body length up after about 15

:20:04. > :20:09.metres! Chad is going for it, and there is only one way he's going to

:20:10. > :20:16.swim this race, he's going to go and try and hold it. A brilliant first

:20:17. > :20:22.50. Brilliant first 50, it's a crazy first 50! Also going well is James

:20:23. > :20:28.Guy, 1.3 seconds behind the leader but in fourth position and probably

:20:29. > :20:32.in second at the moment. You can't quite see but he is second at the

:20:33. > :20:40.moment. Surely this is much, much too fast, right at the far side, way

:20:41. > :20:45.away from everybody, and look at this, he is leading by nearly a

:20:46. > :20:53.second. James Guy in third. Conor Dwyer in lane three, he is hunting

:20:54. > :20:57.him down now and taking the rest of the field with him, Conor Dwyer. I

:20:58. > :21:07.can't imagine Chad is going to hold this. Just spotted James Guy at the

:21:08. > :21:17.bottom. Conor Dwyer, Sun Yang and Chad le Clos... That really hurt! 35

:21:18. > :21:22.metres to go and Chad le Clos still holding on but Sun Yang in the

:21:23. > :21:30.centre for China, is he going to win this 200 metres freestyle? Still

:21:31. > :21:37.going relatively well. Still going well at the top is Chad le Clos, but

:21:38. > :21:42.I think Sun Yang is going to win the gold! A brilliant brave will the

:21:43. > :21:47.medal for Chad le Clos of South Africa, goodness me, Conor Dwyer

:21:48. > :21:51.with the bronze and James Guy just out in fourth position, missing out

:21:52. > :21:54.by 16 hundredths of a second. So close to a bronze.

:21:55. > :22:01.STUDIO Yes, Sun Yang converts his London

:22:02. > :22:06.silver to a Rio gold and it caused some controversy when he was banging

:22:07. > :22:10.on that podium as well. A sixth fourth place for British athletes so

:22:11. > :22:14.far in this game is for poor old James Guy, who just missed out by a

:22:15. > :22:19.fraction of a second. You are all up to date as we concentrate on events

:22:20. > :22:23.on this day four in Rio. I want you to imagine a 700 metres long

:22:24. > :22:29.corridor surrounded by big stands on each side and now imagine marching

:22:30. > :22:35.bands, huge amounts of colour and noise and rhythm and samba bands, it

:22:36. > :22:38.is the Sambodromo, Ashley built venue for the carnival every

:22:39. > :22:44.February. Now imagine if quiet and hushed and studious because if it

:22:45. > :22:50.seems a bit incongruous, it is the venue for the archery events this

:22:51. > :22:53.time. I know that Darren Campbell couldn't resist a peek at this

:22:54. > :23:01.amazing venue. STUDIO

:23:02. > :23:06.After Lord's Cricket ground hosted the archery in 2012, the pressure

:23:07. > :23:17.was on Rio to find a spectacular venue. Step

:23:18. > :23:22.forward the Sambadrome. Having just walked into the arena, the first

:23:23. > :23:29.thing that strikes you is the heat. It is so, so hot. The target is 70

:23:30. > :23:34.metres away and as you stand here you can feel the sun on your back.

:23:35. > :23:39.In this arena, the crowd feels so close, it feels like you can hear

:23:40. > :23:44.every single breath. You can see Christ the Redeemer just over there.

:23:45. > :23:52.Is it your time? You will have 20 seconds to release your bow. Failure

:23:53. > :23:57.to do so will result in a penalty. The sock is slightly picking up. You

:23:58. > :24:02.can't wait for the sock to be still. A red card is what you will receive.

:24:03. > :24:06.It's not like football, you won't be sent off but what you will lose by

:24:07. > :24:13.receiving a red card is your highest score from that that will stop it

:24:14. > :24:18.will hit this target within one second, at 140 mph. From the

:24:19. > :24:25.shooting line I couldn't even see the middle target but it's about the

:24:26. > :24:31.size of a DVD. The best archers will actually hit this little cross.

:24:32. > :24:35.Ridiculous! It would be wrong to come to such a fantastic venue

:24:36. > :24:40.without giving it a go myself, but I will need a bit of coaching and a

:24:41. > :24:42.bit of help from my main man, Chris! Laser.

:24:43. > :24:51.Chris Kammy you were involved in London 2012 and you will be involved

:24:52. > :24:55.in Tokyo. -- Chris, you were. What is this place like? It's amazing.

:24:56. > :25:00.It's the first time it's been used as a sporting venue, so some

:25:01. > :25:03.challenges there, but a fantastic history, it's in the culture, it's

:25:04. > :25:07.in the fire of Brazilians with the carnival and they are trying to

:25:08. > :25:13.bring that same carnival and party with the Olympics right here. When

:25:14. > :25:18.you actually draw it back, you keep this arm still and you're looking

:25:19. > :25:24.straight back, creating no movement so you can see the target. It's

:25:25. > :25:31.hard! It's all about hitting the ten when you can. It's not so much

:25:32. > :25:34.dependent on muscles, it's about controlling your breathing and your

:25:35. > :25:39.mental ability and hitting the ten when you need to for that gold

:25:40. > :25:44.medal. Yobo is your friend. Don't fight it but use it. Three fingers

:25:45. > :25:49.underneath the arrow, straight on this arm, point to the target, bring

:25:50. > :25:51.this to your right eye, came in the middle and relax. You got a nine,

:25:52. > :26:02.that's not bad! Nine! Keep practising, Darren, you've got

:26:03. > :26:06.to go a little further back, make! So, you're familiar with the

:26:07. > :26:14.surroundings now and we are also familiar with Great Britain's Naomi

:26:15. > :26:20.Folkard. She's up against an Indonesian opponent today in the

:26:21. > :26:23.round of 32. Charlie will be watching it all unfold. The South

:26:24. > :26:31.Koreans have almost completely monopolised this event. Naomi is up

:26:32. > :26:35.against this Indonesian opponent today. Let's see how she fares.

:26:36. > :26:38.Straight knockout, Charlie, over to you.

:26:39. > :26:45.COMMENTATOR: Best of five sets. The sets consist of three arrows per

:26:46. > :26:57.Archer. If the total of your arrows is

:26:58. > :27:02.greater than your opponent the aim of the game is to get a sixth set

:27:03. > :27:13.points and that will book you a place in the next round. A little

:27:14. > :27:18.path of the cheeks from Folkard. Rochmawati gets the first ten of the

:27:19. > :27:28.match, almost right on the X, the spider as it's known.

:27:29. > :27:44.Folkard stays in touch, with a nine. The Indonesian athlete can take this

:27:45. > :27:50.first set if this arrow is a ten. It's not, it's out wide, and eight,

:27:51. > :27:54.so an opportunity for Folkard to take this first set, if she can find

:27:55. > :28:04.a maximum score, of ten, with this final arrow. She gets it! Naomi

:28:05. > :28:12.Folkard takes the opening set by 28 points to 27. She moves into a 2-0

:28:13. > :28:23.lead. Just the start that she would have wanted. Rochmawati had the

:28:24. > :28:33.initial advantage but now just has to find a little something. Well,

:28:34. > :28:39.Folkard lost in the third round in Athens to a Korean opponent. It was

:28:40. > :28:43.a different scoring system in those days, all about cumulative score.

:28:44. > :28:51.The same in Beijing when she lost to a Japanese opponent 97-106. Got to

:28:52. > :28:59.the second round in London and lost to the Mexican.

:29:00. > :29:08.Confirmation, the British archer is in front after the first. Rochmawati

:29:09. > :29:17.will shoot first again, as she is behind on the scoreboard.

:29:18. > :29:26.So, second set, first arrow for Rochmawati. That is loose, it's a

:29:27. > :29:36.seven. So, an opportunity for Folkard.

:29:37. > :29:54.She does have the advantage. A solitary point.

:29:55. > :30:33.Fall card still has the advantage of one point -- Naomi Folkard.

:30:34. > :30:46.So nine or better will give Folkard the second set. It is a way, it is a

:30:47. > :30:58.ten. And so, it is an excellent start by Naomi Folkard in her fourth

:30:59. > :31:01.and final Olympic Games. She has been on record as saying she won't

:31:02. > :31:14.continue for the next four years cycle. Despite her coach trying to

:31:15. > :31:25.persuade her otherwise. But the Indy nisi and art should just let down by

:31:26. > :31:33.that opening arrow. So confirmation that Folkard takes the second set

:31:34. > :31:35.and leads four set points to nil-macro. She is in charge of this

:31:36. > :31:42.match. So, Rochmawati will shoot first once

:31:43. > :32:04.again. And that's an excellent reply from

:32:05. > :32:39.Folkard. Excellent archery from both athletes

:32:40. > :32:55.so far. Just outside the ten ring. A little

:32:56. > :33:00.look down the TV screen. There is a screen in front of their shooting

:33:01. > :33:06.line, so they can see where their arrows have landed. You can see the

:33:07. > :33:08.pressure in the forearm of the Indy nisi and arch as she draws the boat

:33:09. > :33:28.-- Indonesian archer. Excellent archery from Folkard and

:33:29. > :33:35.Rochmawati. 29 points apiece. It is a tide set so Folkard moves into a

:33:36. > :33:41.5-1 lead if those scores are confirmed, and we will need just one

:33:42. > :34:04.more point from the next two sets to make it through to the second round.

:34:05. > :34:12.The target is 122 centimetres across, the distance that the

:34:13. > :34:23.archers are from the target is 70 metres. That ten ring is the size of

:34:24. > :34:28.a DVD. And from 70 metres, your thumb would cover the whole target

:34:29. > :34:33.if you extend your arm in front of you and lift your thumb up. So,

:34:34. > :34:40.Rochmawati needs to win this set otherwise her Olympic quest is over.

:34:41. > :34:51.She starts with an eight. An opportunity now.

:34:52. > :35:22.Two eights. This is a real opportunity.

:35:23. > :35:33.That has led out, and now, it is Rochmawati who is in control of this

:35:34. > :35:43.fourth set. An uncharacteristic miss from fall card. Rochmawati takes the

:35:44. > :35:51.set, after two loose arrows to start with. The six from Folkard allows

:35:52. > :36:01.the Indonesian the opportunity to take the set which she does. And,

:36:02. > :36:04.well, real disappointment from Folkard but great shooting from Ika

:36:05. > :36:10.Rochmawati of Indonesia who keeps this match alive. She still needs to

:36:11. > :36:18.win that fifth set in order to take us into a shoot off. Folkard still

:36:19. > :36:20.in the box seat but will have to deal with the mental pressures after

:36:21. > :36:42.sending down that six. Credit to Rochmawati for coming up

:36:43. > :37:04.with the ten stop so, confirmation of the score.

:37:05. > :37:11.So the Indonesian archer, Ika Rochmawati, will shoot first in this

:37:12. > :37:19.fifth and final set of this first round match against Naomi Folkard.

:37:20. > :37:26.The Indonesian archer trails by three to five. She needs to win this

:37:27. > :37:47.set to take us to a shoot off. What start. Ten.

:37:48. > :37:54.Again, the forearm of Rochmawati just shaking with the pressure of

:37:55. > :38:08.the bow at full draw. A ten here will take us to a shoot

:38:09. > :38:26.off. It is a nine. So, that means if

:38:27. > :38:35.Naomi Folkard can find a Ken, she will be through to the second round.

:38:36. > :38:48.It is a shoot off. 27, 20 eight. Rochmawati from 4-0 down has

:38:49. > :38:56.levelled the match at five set points APs. We wait for confirmation

:38:57. > :39:02.of that fifth set score but I'm officially, it is 28-27 and we have

:39:03. > :39:06.ourselves a shoot off, the first on day four of the archery competition

:39:07. > :39:32.in Rio. Rochmawati has hit 510s in this

:39:33. > :39:42.match, Folkard, four. It is one arrow closest to the centre wins.

:39:43. > :40:09.So, the first first-round match in the women's competition in archery

:40:10. > :40:17.on day four of these Rio Olympic Games has gone to a shoot off. Naomi

:40:18. > :40:18.Folkard of Great Britain on target one, and Ika Rochmawati of Indonesia

:40:19. > :40:37.on target two. It all comes down to one arrow. They

:40:38. > :40:44.are just changing the target face. If a measure is required, and it is

:40:45. > :40:54.a clean target with which to work with.

:40:55. > :41:05.The Indonesian will shoot first. 20 seconds, she has got. Away it goes.

:41:06. > :41:11.That is a seven. Load to the left-hand side, and that is a big

:41:12. > :41:18.window of opportunity now for Folkard.

:41:19. > :41:27.And that is a nine and that is close enough, and it is relief for Naomi

:41:28. > :41:32.Folkard. It is real disappointment forewoman macro who fought so hard

:41:33. > :41:39.to come back from four set points down to tie it at five set points

:41:40. > :41:44.apiece, but she could not do the business. Folkard is through to the

:41:45. > :41:51.second round of the Rio Olympic Games.

:41:52. > :41:58.Great sportsmanship from the Indonesian archer there. Naomi

:41:59. > :42:05.Folkard through and she will be up against a Greek or a Japanese

:42:06. > :42:10.archer. We think this will be around 2:15pm. Well played. We are also

:42:11. > :42:16.talking equestrian events today because this is the climax of the

:42:17. > :42:19.three-day event, both the team event and the individual. The medals will

:42:20. > :42:27.be polished and buffed and handed out later today but only after the

:42:28. > :42:32.decisive show-jumping phase. Lee McKenzie is that the equestrian

:42:33. > :42:36.centre. I remember there was so much excitement at London 2012 when Great

:42:37. > :42:42.Britain took that silver medal, but where are they now? There has been

:42:43. > :42:46.some confusion after the cross-country. Slightly less

:42:47. > :42:52.excitement than it was at Greenwich. It was a difficult day for Britain.

:42:53. > :42:56.Every rider taking some faults and time penalties which did not help

:42:57. > :43:01.the cause. The confusion was Brazil were deemed to have had their last

:43:02. > :43:05.rider having a run out at the last water question. When they looked at

:43:06. > :43:10.that, and the Brazilians were all running around with their own

:43:11. > :43:13.videos, they took it to a jury last night, and the horse was proved to

:43:14. > :43:17.get horse and rider between the flags and it was a very skinny

:43:18. > :43:24.jumper. The horse was deemed to have got over that safely so Brazil have

:43:25. > :43:30.been reinstated. That means it knocks Britain back down to eight.

:43:31. > :43:35.What has been the reaction to the cross-country course? Only 40% of

:43:36. > :43:44.the horse and rider combinations managed it. I just walked the

:43:45. > :43:52.show-jumping course and even the most experienced riders were talking

:43:53. > :43:56.about it. They said, how did it look on television? I think the riders

:43:57. > :44:03.who wrote it well and understood the course, because the course builder

:44:04. > :44:08.has built courses all over Europe, it has been the and the lying thing

:44:09. > :44:13.that the thinking riders got round it well and understood that

:44:14. > :44:16.sometimes you have to take a long route and compromise on time

:44:17. > :44:23.penalties, but it did catch out the most extra periods to riders. The

:44:24. > :44:29.current world champion from Germany did not get round clear. There was a

:44:30. > :44:33.lovely quote from another German rider who said sometimes nations, no

:44:34. > :44:37.matter who the nation, Germany or Great Britain, just have an off day,

:44:38. > :44:46.but it seems the younger nations are getting round which is what makes a

:44:47. > :44:49.venting at the Olympics special. We will be back with you in a little

:44:50. > :44:56.while for the last of these three elements in the eventing. I hope you

:44:57. > :44:59.will join us. We will have a quick channel hop now to BBC One for day

:45:00. > :45:03.four of the Olympics. Catch The England Men's and
