:00:33. > :00:36.Hello from Olympic Park. Great Britain are a dizzying third place

:00:36. > :00:41.in the medals table. Medals are being added at a rate that is

:00:41. > :00:49.making us feel giddy. This afternoon will be keeping a close

:00:49. > :00:53.eye on at least four Olympic venues, for maybe more. All three of Great

:00:53. > :00:58.Britain's women's boxers are in quarter-final action at the ExCeL

:00:58. > :01:03.centre and all three could guarantee at least bronze. Three

:01:03. > :01:10.gymnastics medals already for Britain's men so far. Could it

:01:10. > :01:16.finally be Beth Tweddle's turn? She is on the uneven bars final at

:01:16. > :01:22.2:50pm. Silver on horseback for Britain already, now our show

:01:22. > :01:27.jumpers, led by Nick Skelton, go into this afternoon's show jumping

:01:27. > :01:31.in joint second place. From 4:00pm at the Velodrome, Jason Kenny goes

:01:31. > :01:39.for gold in the individual sprint, he has been in scorching form and

:01:39. > :01:43.is hoping to follow in the wheel marks of Sir Chris Hoy.

:01:43. > :01:47.We are zipping back to Eton Dorney Lake, the rowers have made way for

:01:47. > :01:52.the sprint canoeists, flat water, flat out for them. Something that

:01:52. > :01:58.Tim Brabants has been achieving since he first took bronze in his

:01:58. > :02:02.kayak in Sydney. Then another bronze and gold for the 35-year-old

:02:02. > :02:12.doctor in the 1,000m sprint. He is attempting to become only the 4th

:02:12. > :02:15.

:02:15. > :02:19.man in Olympic history to defend this may be a stretch too far after

:02:19. > :02:29.his injury problems. Coming back well after last year, when he

:02:29. > :02:34.really was in trouble. He is up against some stiff competition. The

:02:34. > :02:40.Canadian is the world champion. The New Zealander alongside him. It is

:02:40. > :02:47.the first four to go through and the remaining go into the B final.

:02:47. > :02:53.Only in the A final can you compete for the medals. The Canadian again

:02:53. > :03:02.goes out strongly. He has a comfortable lead at the moment. He

:03:02. > :03:12.is looking player at the front. -- Clear at the front. He drives the

:03:12. > :03:16.

:03:16. > :03:20.paddle through the water. The first four go into the A final. The Dane

:03:20. > :03:28.will be someone to reckon with, he looked very impressive in his heat.

:03:28. > :03:33.He is up alongside Brabants. The Canadian did not fade in the heats

:03:33. > :03:37.at all. Each of these paddlers have their own game plan it that they

:03:37. > :03:41.will be trying to stick to, trying not to react too much to what is

:03:41. > :03:48.happening around them as the race unfolds. Tim Brabants is looking

:03:48. > :03:51.controlled at the moment. Most of the noise as they approached the

:03:51. > :03:59.stance will be for Tim Brabants but he is beginning to fade as they

:03:59. > :04:04.come up to the halfway mark. Brabants hangs on to the 4th

:04:04. > :04:09.position at the moment. Others are coming up to threaten. A bit of a

:04:09. > :04:19.separation between the first five and the rest. The Canadian is

:04:19. > :04:26.

:04:26. > :04:36.there and just four automatic places. Van Koeverden Is clear in

:04:36. > :04:37.

:04:37. > :04:44.first. The noise begins to swell at Eton Dorney. This is where we will

:04:44. > :04:51.expect a break from Larsson, we expect a quick finish from him.

:04:51. > :04:59.Brabants is fading a bit more at the top of your picture. Larsson is

:04:59. > :05:07.making a move now. Brabants is down in 5th at the moment. Those four

:05:07. > :05:12.are looking like the four through to the A final. Tim Brabants'

:05:12. > :05:17.Olympic reign may be coming to an end. He is nearest to the crowd at

:05:17. > :05:25.the top of your picture. He will hear the noise, it is mostly for

:05:25. > :05:31.him. Van Koeverden Is looking strong for Canada. Behind them, a

:05:31. > :05:37.fierce race is developing. The first four go through. At the

:05:37. > :05:47.moment, Brabants, it is so close between him and the Bulgarians for

:05:47. > :05:54.

:05:54. > :06:01.close. It certainly was, he really pushed it down the last section. I

:06:01. > :06:06.am not sure, it is going to be very tight. Van Koeverden Was

:06:06. > :06:14.untouchable in first place, coming through fairly easily. His main

:06:14. > :06:20.threat it is in the next semi-final, Max Hoff. Tim Brabants is true,

:06:20. > :06:24.look how close it was. -- is through. I don't think he's going

:06:24. > :06:28.to threaten for a medal in the final, but just to be in the final

:06:28. > :06:34.as the defending champion is quite an achievement, with the injury

:06:34. > :06:39.problems he has had with his Through to the final by the skin of

:06:39. > :06:43.your teeth. It was certainly a tough race. I tried not to raise

:06:43. > :06:48.too hard in the heat because there is such a short time between the

:06:48. > :06:53.heat and the semi-final. Normally you have two days. I kind of blow

:06:53. > :06:57.the cobwebs away in the heat. Unfortunately I drew the outside

:06:57. > :07:03.lane. The cross wind comes across from the right hand side. When I

:07:03. > :07:09.saw I had lane one I knew I would have my work cut out. The roar of

:07:09. > :07:14.the crowd is incredible. I didn't know quite where I was in the race,

:07:14. > :07:19.I knew I was in touch. I looked across and saw the Bulgarian guide,

:07:19. > :07:23.a very tight race but I am really pleased I made the final. I am not

:07:23. > :07:28.in the Beijing shape but glad to be in the final to try to defend the

:07:28. > :07:35.title. How far do you think you are from Beijing shape? It is hard to

:07:36. > :07:42.say, the quality of the K1 is insane. The last four International

:07:43. > :07:49.races has had a different winner in every race. Any guy could went,

:07:49. > :07:54.Adam is in fantastic form. I am in the final. Anything could happen in

:07:54. > :07:58.the final. I am in good shape. Fantastic, having the support that

:07:59. > :08:03.I have had. You mention that lane one was a negative and you talk

:08:03. > :08:08.about the crowd, the upside was that they roared you on every way.

:08:08. > :08:12.It is incredible. You hear the Rose talking about it, they said it was

:08:12. > :08:16.an amazing experience. Being in lane one, I could really appreciate

:08:16. > :08:24.it. The noise is phenomenal. Waiting for my name to come up in

:08:24. > :08:31.the 4th spot, that is fantastic, when my name came up. I saw my wife

:08:31. > :08:35.and my daughter... Your wife missed out on Beijing? It was massively

:08:35. > :08:40.expensive to fly out there and they get more nervous than I do when it

:08:40. > :08:44.comes to racing. It is nice to have my family here. Hopefully your

:08:45. > :08:54.family and this crowd can lift you in the final. Good luck. I hope so,

:08:54. > :09:02.His final is on Wednesday. He says he is not in Beijing shape when he

:09:02. > :09:07.won the gold. But a terrific achievement, at the age of 35. He

:09:07. > :09:12.is in the final once again. We have had huge crowds down there and huge

:09:12. > :09:17.crowds here. You never get tired of seeing a stadium at the Olympic

:09:17. > :09:21.Games that is chock-a-block at 10 o'clock am. 80,000 people in there.

:09:22. > :09:25.And 80,000 people streaming out and going for a bit of a wander around.

:09:25. > :09:30.There were 50,000 people in Greenwich Park, it seems a long

:09:30. > :09:34.time ago, when the three-day event team won their silver medal. That

:09:34. > :09:39.was last Tuesday. Since then the dressage event has got under way

:09:39. > :09:44.and yesterday it was the turn of the show jumpers. Qualification to

:09:44. > :09:49.place with the team that medals to be decided today. Nick Skelton has

:09:49. > :09:53.been riding for Great Britain since 1980, these are his six games. We

:09:53. > :10:01.will be showing you how he fared a little bit later on, but let's give

:10:01. > :10:06.you a quick reminder of what is Equestrian jumping. Jumping is

:10:06. > :10:12.contested in an enclosed arena over a course of 500 to 600 metres in

:10:12. > :10:18.length. There are between 12 and 16 obstacles. They must be negotiated

:10:18. > :10:22.in a specific order. A set time is allowed to complete the course.

:10:22. > :10:26.Scoring is in the form of penalties for a range of indiscretions. If

:10:26. > :10:31.penalty points are equal, competitors will be separated

:10:31. > :10:35.according to the time taken. It doesn't matter how ungainly a horse

:10:35. > :10:42.or rider may appear. Style is not under consideration in the judging

:10:42. > :10:47.of showjumping. The Olympic showjumping medals will be

:10:47. > :10:52.contested over five rounds in total. The first round his qualification,

:10:52. > :10:56.the individual competition. The second and third round decide the

:10:56. > :11:01.medals in the team competition. The 4th and 5th rounds are the final

:11:01. > :11:04.stages of the individual competition. Consistently clean

:11:04. > :11:08.rounds are the most important element in determining the winner,

:11:08. > :11:12.although time is also of the essence and can become the deciding

:11:12. > :11:22.factor. If you would like to get involved

:11:22. > :11:27.in Olympic sports, go to our The situation after the qualifying

:11:27. > :11:31.rounds yesterday looks good. Saudi Arabia, very surprising they are up

:11:31. > :11:40.there in first position, after an there in first position, after an

:11:40. > :11:44.excellent effort from their team. Britain has not won a jumping medal

:11:44. > :11:45.for 28 years but things look good for Nick Skelton and his team,

:11:45. > :11:53.for Nick Skelton and his team, going in the final round this

:11:53. > :11:58.afternoon. Lizzie green what use is in Greenwich. It is looking

:11:58. > :12:04.exciting and promising, but surprised with Saudi Arabia at the

:12:04. > :12:10.top? It was a surprise. It was not a complete surprise because they

:12:10. > :12:13.have been creeping up the rankings. One of the riders came second in

:12:13. > :12:21.the World Championships two years ago. One of the biggest surprises

:12:21. > :12:27.is that they are at the top with just one fault. There are three

:12:27. > :12:30.countries who are not even through, who you would have expected to.

:12:30. > :12:37.Considering the pedigree of Great Britain's show jumpers, another

:12:37. > :12:42.surprise. What do you put the lack of medal success down to? It is

:12:42. > :12:47.difficult. British showjumping has been in the doldrums since 1984,

:12:47. > :12:51.the last time they won any medal in the showjumping. The last time they

:12:51. > :12:56.won a gold was in 1952. They won a couple of bronze medals at European

:12:56. > :12:59.level. It is down to the horses. The reason that Saudi Arabia are

:12:59. > :13:03.doing well is that they have quite a lot of money behind them, they

:13:03. > :13:11.have worked very hard, they have enough cash to keep horses in their

:13:11. > :13:16.country. Britain has already lost a horse to the Saudis. We need owners

:13:16. > :13:19.who are prepared to keep their horses. I think showjumping is one

:13:19. > :13:25.of the others competitions to win an Olympic medal. There are 16

:13:25. > :13:28.fences out there. 32 in total, this is the second round. Every single

:13:28. > :13:31.one of those fences could be the difference between gold and no

:13:31. > :13:36.medal at all. If you look at that building in the background with the

:13:36. > :13:40.pointy roof, number-one Canary Wharf. They say that to win a medal,

:13:40. > :13:46.to complete the team showjumping here at an Olympic Games, every

:13:46. > :13:50.team will have jumped in total, the height of that building. About 300

:13:50. > :13:58.metres. A lot of fences and a lot of room for error. It has got

:13:58. > :14:01.bigger, it is already pretty big. Apparently the time will be quite

:14:01. > :14:09.difficult to get, we are set for an exciting final day of showjumping

:14:09. > :14:14.here in Greenwich. How many fences will they have to negotiate? It is

:14:14. > :14:20.13 fences, 16 obstacles. Some of the fences are combinations. Nick

:14:20. > :14:28.Skelton, six Olympics, not counting Moscow when Britain boycotted the

:14:28. > :14:30.Games. Ben Maher, Nick and Ben have not had a single fence down. They

:14:30. > :14:36.are on joint first place in the individual competition which

:14:36. > :14:46.concludes on Wednesday. Scott brash is on eight faults, Peter Charles

:14:46. > :14:49.

:14:49. > :14:54.has had eight fences down in each We will be back life for that,

:14:54. > :14:58.enjoy. You may remember that history was made with the start of

:14:58. > :15:02.the women's boxing events at the Games. I noted that women's boxing

:15:02. > :15:05.is actually a demonstration event at the St Louis Games of 1904, when

:15:05. > :15:12.the ladies completed in knickerbockers. How times have

:15:12. > :15:22.changed, thankfully. Nicola Adams starter campaign today. The world

:15:22. > :15:37.

:15:37. > :15:43.silver medallist takes on petrol or Nicola, a two-time world medallist.

:15:43. > :15:48.I was 13 years old, and I wasn't nervous at all. I just wanted to

:15:48. > :15:54.get in there. It all started off with Nicola coming down to the gym

:15:54. > :15:59.with me. Was it your intention to take it to a boxing session? No, I

:15:59. > :16:03.didn't even realise they had boxing. She went off and did her own thing.

:16:03. > :16:08.I knew she wouldn't get her and, because there were trainers and

:16:08. > :16:16.coaches there. It was something for the kids to do. It is very

:16:17. > :16:22.expensive, all of the equipment, so it hasn't been easy. To do a's --

:16:22. > :16:28.the days of boxing be Olympic sport for men only are over. Women boxers

:16:28. > :16:38.will be able to compete at the Olympics. I think if women want to

:16:38. > :16:40.

:16:40. > :16:47.I wasn't very interested in women's boxing, I didn't like to see girls

:16:47. > :16:54.getting hit. But I could see the determination in the girls. Within

:16:54. > :16:59.18 months, we had five in the world's top 10 at their weight. In

:16:59. > :17:06.2008, European Championships, we got seven medals. How do you feel

:17:06. > :17:10.about women's boxing now? I love it. She has got this amazing smile, a

:17:10. > :17:17.slight frame. She doesn't strike you as someone you would associate

:17:18. > :17:27.with boxing. Exactly. She has flat feet, so she wouldn't be a runner.

:17:28. > :17:31.

:17:31. > :17:36.There was a time, not so long ago, when it was nearly all over for you.

:17:36. > :17:42.I had a really serious back injury. I was in bed for three months,

:17:42. > :17:46.which is frustrating, because I was such a get-up-and-go person. The GB

:17:46. > :17:52.selections were going on, and I couldn't train. I went from being

:17:52. > :17:57.able to do 300 sit-ups a day to not being able to do one. Did you think

:17:57. > :18:03.this was it the you? I thought that a few times. When I started

:18:03. > :18:09.punching a game, I was so slow and a bit overweight. I saw everybody

:18:09. > :18:13.on the GB team, flying up and down. I thought, I can never get back to

:18:13. > :18:19.how I was before. I said to the coaches, am I ready to come back at

:18:19. > :18:26.this level so quickly? And they said, yes, you can do this. She was

:18:26. > :18:36.to become Olympic champion world champion, so she works hard. It is

:18:36. > :18:40.

:18:40. > :18:45.because of the Nicolas that the I have been boxing for so long, and

:18:45. > :18:50.I have won a lot of tournaments. The European Championships, getting

:18:50. > :18:54.old, and a silver medal at the worlds. I couldn't have asked for a

:18:54. > :19:01.better career. And what would it mean to have an Olympic gold medal

:19:01. > :19:06.about there. I would give that Olympic medal a whole shelf! I knew

:19:06. > :19:11.I was up against it. The five-time world champion. I thought, this is

:19:11. > :19:16.my dream, this is my time, and the bell went and I went out and did

:19:16. > :19:23.the business! Talk me through the moment you knew you had qualified

:19:23. > :19:29.for the Olympics. I can't describe it. All the hard work, the tears,

:19:29. > :19:34.the ups and downs, it was all for that moment. I think Nicola has got

:19:34. > :19:38.the brightest smile in boxing. We will see her fighting live later

:19:38. > :19:48.this afternoon on BBC Three. Quite a weekend in the Olympic Stadium,

:19:48. > :19:58.wasn't it? And Golden Globe for the Olympics on Saturday, and a silver

:19:58. > :20:00.

:20:00. > :20:09.lining yesterday in the women's little out of the blocks, but is

:20:09. > :20:13.quickly up. And that is a fast start from the American. And so is

:20:13. > :20:18.Christine Ohuruogu, writing this from the beginning. The Russian

:20:18. > :20:25.goes past Sanya Richards-Ross, but Christine Ohuruogu has really

:20:25. > :20:31.attacked this first 200m. DeeDee Trotter is trying to get into this,

:20:31. > :20:36.but Christine Ohuruogu has a chance here. There are five or six of them

:20:36. > :20:44.here. DeeDee Trotter is coming through, and Christine Ohuruogu is

:20:44. > :20:48.coming again. Can she get it this time? Will she make it? Sanya

:20:48. > :20:53.Richards-Ross takes the gold. Christine Ohuruogu, a Stirling,

:20:53. > :21:02.sterling effort to get the silver. For a moment, I thought it was

:21:02. > :21:08.going to happen all over again, just like four years ago. But Sanya

:21:08. > :21:15.Richards-Ross is a worthy champion. She is a great 400m runner. And of

:21:15. > :21:19.the silver to Christine Ohuruogu. What can you say about Christine?

:21:19. > :21:24.Every time, saves her best for the Olympics, for the World

:21:24. > :21:29.Championships. Forget all the other races, this is the one that matters

:21:29. > :21:35.to her, and she gets the best out of herself again. Only ever runs

:21:35. > :21:40.under 50 seconds in major finals. A remarkable run for her, but hats

:21:40. > :21:50.off to Sanya Richards-Ross. The overwhelming reaction? I was

:21:50. > :21:54.

:21:54. > :22:02.stunned. I was... I just... I was heartbroken, actually, I really was.

:22:02. > :22:06.To have... To lose your title like that, it was tough. But Sanya is a

:22:06. > :22:11.worthy competitor, and she ran a good race. I have to be happy with

:22:11. > :22:16.what I got. It could have been worse. It looked like it could have

:22:16. > :22:21.been Beijing all over again as you charged down that straight. I know,

:22:21. > :22:27.but I tightened up. I could feel my shoulders lifting. It is really

:22:27. > :22:32.hard to control when you are under fatigue. I thought I had more time,

:22:32. > :22:41.but the line came too soon. I always came here for one thing only,

:22:41. > :22:50.to continue my reign as Olympic Cham -- champion, so I am a bit

:22:50. > :22:55.Well, it was a pugnacious attempted to a title. You said last night

:22:55. > :23:00.your heart broken. 15 hours later, have you revise your assessment?

:23:00. > :23:05.Yes, I did a lap of honour afterwards, and just seeing how

:23:05. > :23:11.proud the people were of May, it kind of brought home that even

:23:11. > :23:15.though I didn't get gold, it was like having your family out there.

:23:15. > :23:19.I probably any new a small percentage of them, but it really

:23:20. > :23:27.felt special to have everybody cheering you on regardless of how I

:23:27. > :23:31.thought I did. And on the podium, everyone still waiting behind to

:23:31. > :23:37.watch me receive my medal, and to have them all there was really

:23:37. > :23:41.special. In years to come, people will ask you to do seminars on how

:23:41. > :23:47.to save your best for major championships, and use the rounds

:23:47. > :23:52.to your advantage. How do you do it? It is not something I do. I

:23:52. > :23:56.wish I could run a lot faster and set myself up, but it just never

:23:56. > :24:02.happens. This year was a bit unusual because I lost a lot of

:24:02. > :24:06.ground, so I was in effect starting a game try to learn the 400 rhythm

:24:06. > :24:12.again. The 400 is not just about having speed or endurance, it is

:24:12. > :24:16.about being able to learn your rhythm. I would like to going

:24:16. > :24:21.running faster, but it is never the case. You just have to go into the

:24:21. > :24:28.championship, and I know that once I'm in there and I have three days

:24:28. > :24:31.to work, I invariably work, and it always works out. It does, because

:24:31. > :24:36.the three times you have run under 50 seconds have been in the

:24:36. > :24:41.absolute key moment that you needed to! Yes, and I am glad that I have

:24:41. > :24:45.that skill and I know how to get my body to work and how to be able to

:24:45. > :24:50.operate under that kind of pressure. Looking back on the race, is there

:24:51. > :24:56.anything you would, could, should have done differently? I don't want

:24:56. > :25:00.to come out and say would, could, should. But the top bend, I think I

:25:01. > :25:06.got a little bit lost, I remember just blinking and then seeing the

:25:06. > :25:11.whole world in front of me, and I thought, not again. It was almost

:25:11. > :25:15.like a repeat, but I was on the outside. I think being far out in

:25:15. > :25:20.lane eight, it was a lot harder to judge, because you are so far from

:25:20. > :25:23.what is going on. But I think maybe I lost a little bit of focus coming

:25:23. > :25:28.into the top, maybe it was a little bit of apprehension that the race

:25:28. > :25:32.was going to be over soon. I think maybe I could have started my prep

:25:32. > :25:38.for the home straight a lot earlier, which are neglected to do. That

:25:38. > :25:45.might have got me my gold. Everybody was delighted with silver,

:25:45. > :25:50.and the way you ran it was huge. Yes, me and my coach went back

:25:50. > :25:56.afterwards, and they think we can say that I'm happy with it. There

:25:56. > :26:02.is always more I am learning about the four, and there is always more

:26:02. > :26:06.I am learning, so there is always more to do. The whole atmosphere of

:26:06. > :26:10.the Olympics, which has overwhelmed many people so far, didn't really

:26:11. > :26:15.hit you until you stood on the podium itself. You looked

:26:15. > :26:20.overwhelmed at that point. What was going through your mind? A think

:26:20. > :26:26.that was the first time I allowed it to sink in. All the other times

:26:26. > :26:31.I was competing, I had to just focus on what I had to do. I knew

:26:31. > :26:34.if I got too emotionally wrapped up, it would be to my detriment. Other

:26:34. > :26:39.people can handle that, but I don't handle the excitement very well in

:26:39. > :26:44.terms of not allowing it to affect my performance, so I was just

:26:44. > :26:47.trying really hard to focus on my job. There was only the first few

:26:47. > :26:51.days, I had loads of time afterwards to soak up the

:26:51. > :26:56.atmosphere. And had you wanted to, you could have jogged home. You're

:26:56. > :27:02.from about a mile away! Yes, I spoke to my mum and dad, and they

:27:02. > :27:08.walked home from the stadium. Which is quite funny. It is really weird.

:27:08. > :27:13.I am just so proud of the whole thing. And this is always going to

:27:13. > :27:16.be my area, it is where I was born and raised. In which case, you look

:27:16. > :27:20.at what is here, and you have seen this develop over the last seven

:27:20. > :27:26.years. What is it doing to your community, and what you hope it

:27:26. > :27:30.will do? I hope ultimately that we will continue with the spirit of

:27:30. > :27:33.the Olympics. If it is something that people can use to pull them

:27:33. > :27:38.together and to continue to move the community for what, I think

:27:38. > :27:42.that is great. It is great to have that, especially for the youngsters

:27:42. > :27:46.that grow up here and can go back to school in September and say, I

:27:46. > :27:49.was at the stadium. And they experience all this, this is just

:27:49. > :27:56.something that I don't think any of us could have imagined would happen

:27:56. > :28:05.when we were growing up. I really couldn't have seen this happening

:28:05. > :28:10.as a child growing up, never. it is not finished. 4x400m. Yes, I

:28:10. > :28:17.have got one day off, and then I get back into training tomorrow,

:28:17. > :28:23.hopefully I will meet up with the girls, and it looks good. From what

:28:23. > :28:28.we saw yesterday in the final, I think we really have a good chance.

:28:28. > :28:33.I just want to finish by taking you back to about a year ago. When you

:28:33. > :28:39.qualified, you came off the track and you told everybody, I am broken.

:28:39. > :28:44.And 12 months on, a silver medal at the Olympic Games. How did you fix

:28:44. > :28:49.it? And what are you going to do now? Coming back from debut was one

:28:49. > :28:54.of the biggest shocks I have ever had. It wasn't so much the

:28:54. > :28:59.disqualification, but how the wind. It was one of the hardest years I

:28:59. > :29:03.have ever had. With the injury, and then Crystal Palace where I

:29:03. > :29:09.finished last, and then me and my coach had three weeks to try to

:29:09. > :29:13.turn it round, and we trained until the last moment, managed to get a

:29:13. > :29:20.400m run out of me, and then to know that we did all that work and

:29:20. > :29:28.get disqualified in the first round, it just compounded about fortune on

:29:29. > :29:34.top of bad fortune. But I went back to work, and I love what I do, so

:29:34. > :29:37.going back to training was never a problem. It was just a matter of

:29:37. > :29:46.believing in what I have and believing in my face and keeping

:29:46. > :29:53.everything together. -- believing in my faith it is an amazing

:29:53. > :29:58.comeback story. Before you go, can we have a look at this? I should go

:29:58. > :30:05.and get my Beijing one from home as well. Yes, you could just go

:30:05. > :30:15.clinking around the park. Yes, this is like gold to me. It is like gold

:30:15. > :30:19.

:30:19. > :30:29.to ask, too. Lovely to see you, It is getting tense and twitchy in

:30:29. > :30:32.

:30:32. > :30:41.the traditional indoor version of The key moves within a phase of

:30:41. > :30:49.play are the surf, the pass, the set, the spike, the block and the

:30:49. > :30:56.dig. There are two main types of serve. The jump serve is an

:30:56. > :30:59.overhand smash that generates power. The float serve is hit without spin,

:30:59. > :31:06.making the flight of the ball unpredictable and hard to read for

:31:06. > :31:13.the opponents. The pass is used by the player receiving the ball from

:31:13. > :31:17.a service, and is an attempt to pass the ball to the team's setter.

:31:17. > :31:24.The set is where the player positions the ball, enabling their

:31:24. > :31:30.team to attack. The spike, also known as the smash, involves

:31:30. > :31:37.players hitting the ball over wrong, in an attempt to finish a rally and

:31:37. > :31:41.win a point. The block is -- involves fund -- front court

:31:41. > :31:45.players attempting to block the ball at the net, in order to win a

:31:46. > :31:50.point for their team. The dig is a defensive move, and is used when

:31:50. > :31:54.players receive the ball after a spike. Athletes will do whatever it

:31:54. > :32:04.takes to keep the ball off the floor, sometimes in spectacular

:32:09. > :32:16.We are offering the men's competition now, Russia against

:32:16. > :32:22.Serbia, who need to win this final group game to progress to the

:32:22. > :32:25.middle stages. Serbia have never won a medal in their history, they

:32:25. > :32:33.thought Novak Djokovic would be the man yesterday but he was not to be

:32:33. > :32:38.at Wimbledon. Russia won the first two sets. It is 19-18 and
