:00:56. > :01:01.We believe we can win it now. We don't believe this is over until we

:01:01. > :01:05.win one more race. We have one hell of a fight on our hands here and a

:01:05. > :01:09.challenge. It's a battle. You have to fight incredibly hard for every

:01:09. > :01:16.plan. We love a challenge but certainly got what we wish for.

:01:16. > :01:21.So this America's Cup's entered a new phase. After 12 races, there's

:01:21. > :01:25.still no winner. Frustratingly for Emirates Team New Zealand, they are

:01:25. > :01:30.one win away from reclaiming the Cup they lost back in 2003. San

:01:30. > :01:34.Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge is the backdrop for an Oracle team USA

:01:35. > :01:38.fightback, their fourth win of the series keeps the match alive for at

:01:38. > :01:43.least one more day. These Reeve lugesry yachts have

:01:43. > :01:48.changed racing for ever. They provide wire-to-wire action,

:01:48. > :01:55.penalties and speeds close to 50mph. It's day ten, race 13, New Zealand

:01:55. > :02:01.lead 8-2 in the first to nine series of this 34th America's Cup.

:02:01. > :02:05.San Francisco is becoming one of the all-time longest America's Cup

:02:05. > :02:10.Regattas. For all the excitement, this week has been about safety.

:02:10. > :02:15.These yachts are at the cutting edge of sailing technology. However that

:02:15. > :02:25.jestic it looks, this is the first America's Cup race with sales the

:02:25. > :02:30.size of a wing on a jumbo jet. These upper wind limits were

:02:30. > :02:34.introduced as part of a safety review following the tragic events

:02:34. > :02:39.in May when Andrew Simpson died training in one of these boats.

:02:39. > :02:47.Someone had to sit down and review what we were doing at that time. The

:02:47. > :02:50.fact that we'd had a loss of life meant we had to work with the

:02:50. > :02:53.authorities and competitors to come up with rules and guidelines that

:02:53. > :03:01.everyone would allow this competition to go forward. As time's

:03:01. > :03:05.gone on, the competition's come a alive, crews knowing how to sail the

:03:05. > :03:11.boats, the systems on the boats have evolve and I always knew the crews

:03:11. > :03:18.would grow accustomed to everything, but we probably underestimated that.

:03:18. > :03:22.Hence I think everyone would be prepared to go another one or two

:03:22. > :03:28.knots for agreement. That's unlikely and the competition's halfway over

:03:28. > :03:31.so we are in a situation we are in now. There's nothing the race

:03:31. > :03:36.officials can do. Despite the pressure of crews, fans and a

:03:36. > :03:42.worldwide television audience, no-one wants a capsize. But it's

:03:42. > :03:47.been close. The important thing is that safety has prevailed. We

:03:47. > :03:53.haven't had an accident since May the 9th and no-one's been hurt. This

:03:53. > :04:00.close to the end of the competition, that's something that we are really

:04:00. > :04:04.looking to preserve. The Americans now with Sir Ben

:04:04. > :04:08.Ainslie aboard as tactician know they must win to extend their stay

:04:08. > :04:12.in the competition. His experience seems to have made a

:04:12. > :04:17.huge difference to skipper Jimmy Spithill and team US's $1050 million

:04:17. > :04:20.campaign. The defenders are beginning to dream the dream of an

:04:20. > :04:24.campaign. The defenders are impossible comeback.

:04:24. > :04:28.We have this never give up attitude. The boys are very hungry. The fact

:04:28. > :04:32.we are at match point has almost excited the team. They love a

:04:32. > :04:37.challenge and we have certainly got that, but we are confident we'll

:04:37. > :04:40.make some great can changes and we are confident we can win this. New

:04:40. > :04:43.Zealand, financially backed by their government and with their fans eager

:04:43. > :04:47.Zealand, financially backed by their to celebrate, still find themselves

:04:47. > :04:50.stranded on match point for a fanatical sailing nation. It's been

:04:50. > :04:58.a long ten years without cup success. The Kiwis are just one win

:04:58. > :05:02.away. It's even between the boats. The boats will have areas where they

:05:02. > :05:06.are strong and maybe areas where they are weaker. It's a case of

:05:06. > :05:09.playing to your strengths and minimise the weakness. It will be a

:05:09. > :05:13.very interesting day. We have an unusual day, there's a front

:05:13. > :05:19.offshore and it's going to play a bit of havoc I think with the

:05:19. > :05:24.tradition traditional day. This is how it looks going into race

:05:24. > :05:41.13: 18. New Zealand need just one more win.

:05:41. > :05:45.Let's cross to Ken Reid, Todd Harris and a becalmed Gary Jobson.

:05:45. > :06:08.It's obviously that ebb on the shoreline.

:06:08. > :06:10.It's obviously that ebb on the an incredible

:06:10. > :06:12.It's obviously that ebb on the have seen. This

:06:12. > :06:14.It's obviously that ebb on the Bay as we

:06:14. > :06:19.It's obviously that ebb on the last game of the

:06:19. > :06:21.It's obviously that ebb on the seen. It's

:06:21. > :06:24.It's obviously that ebb on the of circumstances. The breeze is

:06:24. > :06:25.It's obviously that ebb on the to the left, really off the

:06:25. > :06:29.It's obviously that ebb on the more than we have ever seen. We are

:06:29. > :06:32.It's obviously that ebb on the going to have big sails up today.

:06:32. > :06:34.It's obviously that ebb on the These guys have not been

:06:34. > :06:36.It's obviously that ebb on the with the big sails. This is quite a

:06:36. > :06:39.turn of events and we haven't even with the big sails. This is quite a

:06:39. > :06:42.started yet. The course remains the with the big sails. This is quite a

:06:42. > :06:46.same but it will look different. Look at the map. Where's the sweet

:06:46. > :06:50.spot going to be? The left hand ships will be quite different today.

:06:50. > :06:57.They can't really skew the racecourse directly up wind,

:06:57. > :07:00.downwind, there's going to be a very favoured tack to the next mark

:07:00. > :07:05.downwind, there's going to be a very almost every single leg. Things were

:07:05. > :07:09.further almost every single leg. Things were

:07:09. > :07:11.to realign the staringts creating an almost every single leg. Things were

:07:11. > :07:15.anxious and tense atmosphere on the water. Tactics will be paramount

:07:15. > :07:19.because this race certainly won't be about speed.

:07:19. > :07:40.So, here we go for race 13. What could possibly go wrong?

:07:40. > :07:48.So, race 13 is under way. It's almost a dead heat. Better time and

:07:48. > :07:52.So, race 13 is under way. It's distance for Oracle USA. New Zealand

:07:52. > :07:57.were concerned about getting across them. They got themselves too far

:07:57. > :08:14.away from the line. Oracle taking advantage of this

:08:14. > :08:31.right away. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw a code zero.

:08:31. > :08:38.It's a strange, slow march. The Americans are just happy to push the

:08:38. > :08:53.Kiwis off course. This is tradition traditional stuff

:08:53. > :09:01.we have seen so far. Here we go. Code zero is out. Well played by

:09:01. > :09:03.both boats there. Barker being patient with the advantage. And

:09:03. > :09:44.they're close. Both boats get themselves across.

:09:44. > :09:47.The irony of this is, how many races have been blown off because of too

:09:47. > :09:54.much wind, and here we are in a drifting contest. They are not even

:09:54. > :10:00.making a mark. Team New Zealand has to be careful here. The flood

:10:00. > :10:04.current is going right to left on your screen.

:10:04. > :10:27.So the Americans officially hit mark number one and the Kiwis extremely

:10:27. > :10:34.slow. It's a ten second advantage to Oracle team USA.

:10:34. > :10:39.These catamarans in these conditions, you will see dramatic

:10:39. > :10:48.angle changes between the boats. They are always trying to build

:10:48. > :10:52.speed, use height. It's code zero we are referring to. Used to call it a

:10:52. > :11:04.spinner, but now it's a code zero. There's no such thing as a spinner

:11:04. > :11:07.really. The boats generate so much wind.

:11:07. > :11:11.They've been racing for three-and-a-half minutes. Something

:11:11. > :11:20.that we'll keep an eye on on the clock. The questions I have is, what

:11:20. > :11:26.is the upwind going to be like if this is downwind? That'll be a whole

:11:26. > :11:43.lot bimpbt. They are struggling to build downwind.

:11:43. > :11:51.Pull handling contest. Different scenario has to what each crew

:11:51. > :11:56.member does on board when you are here. Any little mistake will be

:11:56. > :12:01.magnified on a day like today. The irony right now is, we have had so

:12:02. > :12:08.many races brought off because of so much wind, now we are talking about

:12:08. > :12:13.the time limit not happening. Yes. Not sure I like the strategy of USA

:12:13. > :12:16.by sailing a low course. They are going very slow. I think it's

:12:16. > :12:21.by sailing a low course. They are costing them.

:12:21. > :12:32.Right now, as we take a look at virtual eye, the Americans have a

:12:32. > :12:38.shrinking lead. Less to 30 metres. Can they get across? They just stop

:12:38. > :12:43.in the middle. If all of a sudden, Oracle get going and New Zealand

:12:43. > :12:49.can't get across, it's a port star boar situation.

:12:49. > :13:02.The angles are so dramatic between the boats. They can't get to them.

:13:02. > :13:06.There's a 40 minute time limit. We have been racing now for just about

:13:06. > :13:26.seven minutes. You've got to feel for the Kiwis.

:13:26. > :13:34.Through no fault of their own they are struggling, but the wind Gods

:13:34. > :13:40.have taken this away from them. Still quite a distance to the finish

:13:40. > :13:45.line and they are nowhere near where they need to be.

:13:45. > :13:57.New Zealand. I'm very sorry this is happening to you. Boy oh boy.

:13:57. > :14:12.They've been sailing around as fast as possible. They weren't going to

:14:12. > :14:14.make up five minutes. So with ten seconds to go, we'll listen in and

:14:14. > :15:02.see if we hear the official word. Ben Ainslie, the tactician for the

:15:02. > :15:07.Americans is with us. I don't know if anyone was happy about the

:15:07. > :15:10.abandonment, other than the boys on board Oracle Team USA? Better to be

:15:10. > :15:13.abandonment, other than the boys on lucky than good is the old saying. I

:15:13. > :15:17.think that was the case in that race. We had a really nice start, we

:15:17. > :15:22.did a great job and we were covering down that first run, but Ied just

:15:22. > :15:28.did a slightly better job, enabling them to roll over us. So we were

:15:28. > :15:35.obviously staring down the barrel of them to roll over us. So we were

:15:35. > :15:40.defeat there. So race 13 was proving unlucky for

:15:40. > :15:45.some. After 33 minutes, it was restarted. But with no real change

:15:45. > :15:51.in the weather, there were no guarantees it would finish in time.

:15:51. > :15:56.Because of the lighter winds, New Zealand's start wasn't the advantage

:15:56. > :16:09.it previously was. And the Kiwis are in at 204.

:16:10. > :16:17.So here we go, race 13, day ten. Moments after the Kiwis on their way

:16:17. > :16:24.to winning the America's Cup, the race was abandoned, the time limit

:16:24. > :16:29.exceeded. Is is mar of a traditional starting

:16:29. > :16:34.sequence. Not the super light air one we saw an hour ago. They both

:16:34. > :16:38.still have code zeros filled up. They think it will be light enough

:16:38. > :16:46.for a non-foiling downwind leg. That's the difference if you can

:16:46. > :16:51.foil. The wind is too strong to use the code zeros. I don't think we'll

:16:51. > :16:55.see them unless the wind goes down a little is.

:16:55. > :17:06.With this current, this should traditionally be helping out the

:17:06. > :17:16.position that team New Zealand is in. They like that left hand lane. A

:17:16. > :17:21.huge moment for Oracle, can they shake off this morning's beating

:17:21. > :17:23.they took? New Zealand doing very good to set themselves up to be in a

:17:23. > :17:46.very good position. Oracle are hopefully fast enough. If

:17:46. > :17:54.they are too slow, they could get an overlap and they could be in

:17:54. > :18:05.trouble. Barely stays clear. By barely getting going, he's going to

:18:05. > :18:11.have total control. So Jimmy Spithill at the start of race 13

:18:11. > :18:15.puts Dean Barker and the Kiwis in prime position.

:18:15. > :18:25.Gutsy, gutsy move by Dean Barker, letting him close the gap so

:18:25. > :18:28.tightly, yet keeping just clear ahead.

:18:28. > :18:34.So the race for the America's Cup is on. New Zealand need just one more

:18:34. > :18:42.cup. The cup is there as the Americans win out to retain. -- need

:18:43. > :18:48.to win out to retain. Gutsy, Ken. I would say brilliant. Emirates Team

:18:48. > :18:53.New Zealand has the lead. Can they make it stick? The wind is picking

:18:54. > :19:02.up. Up to 12 knots now, peaking at Sa and the America just three

:19:02. > :19:07.seconds behind. No code zeros. And Ken in the last race, I don't think

:19:07. > :19:11.we were half way to Mark number one at this point. Exactly. Easing upon

:19:11. > :19:17.we were half way to Mark number one their foils. That eliminates the

:19:17. > :19:25.code zeros for now. Keep them in the air in case they need to use the

:19:25. > :19:28.sails to get out of it. Doing a very good job sailing low here. That's

:19:28. > :19:33.helping them. Right down into the bad air of Emirates Team New

:19:33. > :19:40.Zealand. Usually a temporary game. They sail down into the wind wash

:19:40. > :19:56.and can't make it stick. You are exactly right.

:19:56. > :20:04.We don't know which boat is better in these conditions. We talked about

:20:04. > :20:08.Oracle making improvements at the top end of the wind range. Will that

:20:08. > :20:12.be a big detriment to what they can do at the bottom end? How much did

:20:12. > :20:14.they change their boat over towards the lighter air configuration?

:20:14. > :20:18.Certainly the boats are pretty even the lighter air configuration?

:20:18. > :20:30.going down. The big test is going to win ward on Lake three.

:20:30. > :20:38.Good discipline by Dean Barker not looking back at the other boat. I

:20:38. > :20:43.like what I see. The lead starts to grow for Emirates Team New Zealand

:20:43. > :21:05.on the right of your screen, over 160 metres over the Americans.

:21:05. > :21:09.Must go back and look at the start one more time. This is where Dean

:21:09. > :21:14.Barker earns his money right now as one more time. This is where Dean

:21:14. > :21:18.we take a look at it on virtual reality. The guys talked about going

:21:18. > :21:20.for the pin end, the right end and they decided the last second to

:21:20. > :21:21.for the pin end, the right end and out probably too late. They went

:21:21. > :21:31.toer the doesn't get too close to the line,

:21:31. > :21:39.wins the start. Really well done by the Kiwis. No overlap. If there was

:21:39. > :21:47.an overlap here, the whole thing changes. That is all the difference

:21:47. > :21:51.needed by the which kiths to actually dominate that start.

:21:51. > :21:56.As the Americans try to close the gap on Emirates Team New Zealand,

:21:56. > :22:01.the Kiwis just one win away from claiming the America's Cup and

:22:01. > :22:04.taking it away from Oracle team USA. It's all about staying under

:22:05. > :22:09.pressure right now. This is where tacticians make their money. Ben

:22:09. > :22:23.Ainslie, ray Davies, this is a Battle of Wits right now.

:22:23. > :22:33.The Americans were down by 150 metres, now here they are leading by

:22:33. > :22:38.15. So far in this race tworks pretty even boats. You get a little

:22:38. > :22:45.breeze in your favour, you gain, it's that simple. They might have a

:22:45. > :22:54.piece of these guys. It's a big cross.

:22:54. > :23:01.And I have a feeling we have a protest. They are looking at the

:23:01. > :23:05.umpires. This is going to be very interesting.

:23:05. > :23:13.It was a bit of a Hollywood if it wasn't a foul. They should have

:23:13. > :23:22.tried to sell it. Let us see if they sold it properly.

:23:22. > :23:27.The umpire's taking a long time here, Gary. But you're right, Oracle

:23:27. > :23:41.have taken the lead no matter what. This could be a game changer

:23:41. > :23:47.depending on what the umpires decide. Not really because right now

:23:47. > :23:50.they would make Team New Zealand get back anyway. They've done their

:23:50. > :23:54.penalty already. I've never seen the back anyway. They've done their

:23:54. > :23:58.umpires take so long. There it is, wow. The Hollywood works for Oracle.

:23:58. > :24:02.Gary and I both thought there was distance in-between the boats, but

:24:02. > :24:07.man, they sold it well. Instantaneously, the penalty is

:24:07. > :24:11.completed. You called it right. The Americans sell it and the officials

:24:11. > :24:15.say New Zealand fouled the Americans. So the Americans are now

:24:15. > :24:28.in the lead by over 100 metres. Here it is again. That little thing. The

:24:28. > :24:29.umpires determine that if the Oracle hadn't changed direction here, they

:24:29. > :24:31.umpires determine that if the Oracle would have had a Coalition. So

:24:31. > :24:51.listen, they have everything sorted out in that back room. -- collision.

:24:51. > :24:53.Takes the pressure off the umpires because Oracle was going to take the

:24:53. > :25:18.lead no matter what. Can New Zealand get down to this

:25:18. > :25:24.gate? Here is another incredibly tactical situation. The breeze is on

:25:24. > :25:32.the right side of the course in favour of New Zealand.

:25:32. > :25:41.Right in front. The Americans pulled off right in front of the Kiwis at

:25:41. > :25:45.gate two. The Kiwis decided to go for the other gate. They are going

:25:45. > :25:46.to be really slow here trying to pull this manoeuvre off. Really

:25:46. > :25:59.slow. Big mistakes. Can't get down low

:25:59. > :26:02.enough to the mark. They are not going to be gaining speed very soon.

:26:02. > :26:21.Cur rent is going right to left. Holy smoke. What a turn of events.

:26:21. > :26:26.The cross. Spithill right in front of Barker and Davies. Bring them

:26:26. > :26:32.almost to a complete halt. There is the lead, 100 metres. The difference

:26:32. > :26:35.again is metres. If Emirates Team New Zealand could have gone lower,

:26:35. > :26:39.#28ed have been a dead even split, but the fact they had to do the

:26:39. > :26:51.last-minute manoeuvre, really slowed them down, put them behind here.

:26:51. > :26:57.Let us take a look at it one time on virtual eye. The Americans

:26:57. > :27:01.on the left, the Kiwis on the right. The mark on the lower left hand side

:27:01. > :27:05.is the marker Oracle will be going after because the other boat is

:27:05. > :27:11.inside. They get into the zone. They have control of that left hand mark.

:27:11. > :27:16.Instead of following them in, the Kiwis do a last-minute move and get

:27:16. > :27:21.super slow. So very well done by Oracle. They used the three boat leg

:27:21. > :27:26.circle that we can't see loevent hand size of our screen. They do a

:27:26. > :27:32.nice, fast manoeuvre around. Team New Zealand get really slow and

:27:32. > :27:37.Oracle break out to a nice lead. You are looking at live pictures as

:27:37. > :27:41.the Americans have the lead, 260 metres and growing. The Kiwis were

:27:41. > :27:44.one leg away from claiming the America's Cup and mother nature

:27:45. > :27:48.shout it down, the time limit was exceeded, the race abandoned and

:27:48. > :27:51.here we are in the re-running of race 13 and the Americans are

:27:51. > :28:15.clearly in control. The question that people all around

:28:15. > :28:20.the docks here in San Francisco keep asking is, what took them so long?

:28:20. > :28:25.The Kiwis were showing this off in the Louis Vuitton series, why didn't

:28:25. > :28:33.Oracle pick up on that earlier? It might have cost them.

:28:33. > :28:38.Back on board with Emirates Team New Zealand. Eight points needing only

:28:38. > :28:48.one more to claim the America's Cup. Let's not forget, it's been a couple

:28:48. > :28:53.of days since the Kiwis have won a race. Go back to day 9, race 12,

:28:53. > :29:01.only one race was contested that day. The Americans won it. Fresh off

:29:01. > :29:05.the abandonment of race 13, it was heartbreaking for the Kiwis what

:29:05. > :29:09.they did in the first race today as they made the turn at mark four and

:29:09. > :29:11.ran out of time. They are climbing back into this again. Do not count

:29:11. > :29:17.them out. They've shown calmness and back into this again. Do not count

:29:17. > :29:20.they are collected in tough spots. This is a tough spot, knowing they

:29:20. > :30:01.have the cup in their hands. Going straight for a second. Get on

:30:01. > :30:10.the foil. On board with the Team USA, they trial right now eight wins

:30:10. > :30:15.to two. They need to win out the. The Kiwis need one more victory to

:30:15. > :30:20.take the cup back to Auckland. In the middle of the bairks Oracle is

:30:20. > :30:28.in a big left hand ship. The breeze has gone left for both of the boats.

:30:28. > :30:48.-- middle of the bay. The Americans split the course. The

:30:48. > :30:54.Kiwis forced the Americans into a bad situation.

:30:54. > :31:03.It was all set up by the bottom mark where Team New Zealand had to create

:31:03. > :31:09.a split. It cost them valuable distance. Distance and the upper

:31:09. > :31:11.hand in this race. It's not over Todd. We have seen that too many

:31:11. > :31:45.times. This is hard, hard conditions here,

:31:45. > :31:53.this light, spotty windships. Oracle's not far from the line,

:31:53. > :32:03.Kenny. Looks like they are going to hold it out and do one manoeuvre in.

:32:03. > :32:34.They really lost an opportunity there.

:32:34. > :32:45.The left hand shift is so dramatic that it looks like they are going to

:32:45. > :32:49.land the mark. Sometimes, Todd, it's just your day and this big wind

:32:49. > :32:59.shift right here is proof that today appears to be Oracle's day.

:32:59. > :33:18.Bottom of the screen, the dark patch, that could be a right hand

:33:18. > :33:22.shift. Oracle could get around in the nick of time and Team New

:33:22. > :33:29.Zealand might get stuck in a right hand shift as they approach. And

:33:29. > :33:35.gate three, it's the Americans' turn. This is well over 400 metres

:33:35. > :33:39.as the Kiwis now will try to track them down knowing that a cut is so

:33:39. > :33:52.very close. I think sailors around the world are

:33:52. > :33:54.just shaking their heads at how quickly fortunes have changed in

:33:54. > :34:10.this event. Remember, Dean Barker had the lead

:34:10. > :34:14.at gate 1 by three seconds. A fantastic job by Jimmy Spithill at

:34:14. > :34:20.gate two put them in a hole. Now they are starting to make it stretch

:34:20. > :34:28.up to 46 seconds the Kiwis are behind the Americans. The Americans

:34:28. > :34:37.head for Mark 4. The New Zealanders try to track them down.

:34:37. > :34:42.In all your experience, around the America's Cup, have you ever seen a

:34:42. > :34:46.team on the last leg of what would be the winning race and have it

:34:46. > :34:50.cancelled because time limit only to come back in the next race and

:34:50. > :34:56.absolutely just get worked on the water?

:34:56. > :35:02.Well, the only race that is sum to this is race seven in 1983. Dennis

:35:03. > :35:15.Connor leading. Australia passed them and won the America's Cup.

:35:15. > :35:24.If the Leeds holds up for Oracle Team USA, they'll now need just six

:35:24. > :35:37.wins to win and keep the America's Cup. The They are talking about

:35:37. > :35:41.every snow owe that could go wrong. They are going through every

:35:41. > :35:46.possible scenario and what the solutions would be.

:35:46. > :35:52.They just said beat to the finish. This is going so far to the left

:35:52. > :35:56.that for the first time in this event they may be going hard into

:35:56. > :35:59.the wind going into the America's Cup Park.

:35:59. > :36:14.Makes it good for New Zealand. Code Zoe row going up on Team New

:36:14. > :36:29.Zealand. -- code zero going up on Team New

:36:29. > :36:53.Zealand. The Americans execute a beautiful

:36:53. > :36:57.drive. They'll make a right hand turn. If all things hold together,

:36:57. > :37:02.the Americans will pick up another victory and it will take their wins

:37:02. > :37:04.down to six with the Kiwis still just needing the one win to take the

:37:04. > :37:17.cup away. Two beautiful jibes by Oracle Team

:37:17. > :37:19.USA. They've come so far with the

:37:19. > :37:22.manoeuvering and their boat handling. Very, very well done as

:37:22. > :37:42.they come into the last quay. The Americans first to it and they

:37:42. > :38:03.are now heading for home. The lead for the Americans is

:38:03. > :38:08.growing in excess of 30 seconds and now they are close to getting to the

:38:08. > :38:11.finish and getting to the win. For Emirates New Zealand this is a day

:38:11. > :38:15.of what could have been. They were in the exact same position right

:38:15. > :38:19.about here when the race came to termination point earlier today. It

:38:19. > :38:23.was waved off. They were clearly over 1,000 metres ahead of the

:38:23. > :38:27.Americans and just not enough time. I think we are too close to the

:38:27. > :38:32.sailors in this case. We feel their frustration and we are thinking they

:38:32. > :38:38.want to end. I know for a fact, talking at any to my friends in

:38:38. > :38:43.Newport, they'll hope this thing keeps going for a long, long time,

:38:43. > :38:45.because this is exciting stuff. This is sailing like sailing has never

:38:45. > :39:01.seen before really. Around the aursst USA, let the

:39:01. > :39:06.celebration begin. The America's Cup will continue on for at least one

:39:06. > :39:20.more day. Oracle team USA have come through with a victory in race 13.

:39:20. > :39:40.The Kiwis get the better start, as race 13 showed, but it was the

:39:40. > :39:47.Americans that took it over and at gate two they made it stretch. They

:39:47. > :39:54.were able to extend the Regatta for another day. We'll see a day 11. We

:39:54. > :39:59.are going to find a lot out about this. We talked about pressure and

:39:59. > :40:05.momentum change, but this is luke nothing we have ever seen, nothing

:40:05. > :40:10.I've ever seen. -- like nothing we have ever seen. USA have won four of

:40:10. > :40:13.the last eight races that Ben Ainslie has been on board. New

:40:13. > :40:18.Zealand still need one more point. But it's the Americans who have the

:40:18. > :40:22.momentum. If you look at the start of the

:40:22. > :40:26.Regatta, it really felt like everything was going against us. I

:40:26. > :40:29.mean, four days out from the start of the Regatta, we didn't know who

:40:29. > :40:34.we could race with. We lost our wing trimmer. We were then told we had

:40:34. > :40:36.lost two points and hadn't even started the race. It feels to me

:40:36. > :40:54.like affecting the guys on board, it's

:40:54. > :40:59.affecting the whole team and yes, we just feel like the tide is turning,

:40:59. > :41:07.it's starting to go away. It's the third race now that we have been in

:41:08. > :41:10.the lead. Today it was time limit. You sort of say, well, you know, any

:41:10. > :41:17.one of the three points would have You sort of say, well, you know, any

:41:17. > :41:21.been nice right now, but the team, you know, there's no loss of

:41:21. > :41:27.confidence. We know that we can easily get this done. It's a case of

:41:27. > :41:33.going out there again tomorrow and race racing hard. Saturday and there

:41:33. > :41:37.was nothing bright about the Golden Gate Bridge as the crews trudged

:41:37. > :41:42.through the rain. Even worse, the wind was blowing in

:41:42. > :41:44.the wrong direction. It forced yet another delay to the schedule which

:41:44. > :41:54.was already behind. The only man with a spring in his

:41:55. > :42:00.step is a rejuvenated American sailor, Jim write Spithill. Him and

:42:00. > :42:03.Ben Ainslie have found a winning formula. From day one, we got on

:42:03. > :42:07.Ben Ainslie have found a winning well on board the boat and, as we

:42:07. > :42:10.have gone through the races we have progressed, we've learnt a bit about

:42:10. > :42:17.each other, what information's good, what isn't. Some of the conditions

:42:17. > :42:21.have been quite trying. Especially yesterday. I think today will be. We

:42:21. > :42:25.work the best we can but I really enjoy sailing with Tom and Jimmy and

:42:25. > :42:29.we are gelling well as a team at the back of the boat there. After all

:42:29. > :42:33.the talk, race conditions fail to improve in time. A familiar lacking

:42:33. > :42:38.scene played out on the bay of San Francisco.

:42:38. > :42:42.It was close, but the real thety is, we want to make sure whatever we do,

:42:42. > :42:47.it's a quality race. It's only fair for everybody. The breeze was just

:42:47. > :42:55.too far left today. Never got out of the 200 range which, in this course,

:42:55. > :43:00.is hard to set up a fair racecourse. So we head into day 16, still

:43:00. > :43:04.looking for a winner. New Zealand stuck on match point. It's slow,

:43:04. > :43:08.frustrating, but thoroughly addictive. Can the Americans keep

:43:09. > :43:14.their form going? Will the Kiwis get the win they are looking for? Or

:43:14. > :43:20.will mother nature cause further scheduling headaches? We are back on

:43:20. > :43:23.Monday at 1. 30 on BBC do Two to see if history will be made as this

:43:23. > :43:27.becomes the longest America's Cup ever.
