:00:17. > :00:19.Hello and welcome to the BBC Sport Centre, with me, Ore Oduba.

:00:20. > :00:21.On the programme today we're at Augusta and Aintree,

:00:22. > :00:24.and we'll look ahead to another big night for British boxing.

:00:25. > :00:27.First though, let's have a look at some of the day's

:00:28. > :00:31.Triumph for Britain's Helen Jenkins in the World Triathlon Series

:00:32. > :00:36.Victory on Australia's Gold Coast strengthens her claim for the final

:00:37. > :00:41.Jonny Brownlee finished third in the men's race.

:00:42. > :00:45.Scotland's women are six points clear at the top of their Euro 2017

:00:46. > :00:48.qualifying group after a 3-1 victory over Slovenia.

:00:49. > :00:50.That's five wins from their five matches.

:00:51. > :00:53.England drew 1-1 with Belgium, while Northern Ireland's

:00:54. > :00:59.And Super League leaders Warrington lost their unbeaten home record

:01:00. > :01:07.Warrington have now lost two of their last three games.

:01:08. > :01:11.So to one of the most famous horse races of them all.

:01:12. > :01:14.In just over four hours' time, 39 runners and riders will contest

:01:15. > :01:20.The course, at nearly two and a quarter miles long,

:01:21. > :01:23.includes 16 fences, the biggest of which is this one - the Chair -

:01:24. > :01:27.Last year's winner, Many Clouds, is the favourite to take

:01:28. > :01:30.Should he make it back-to-back wins, he'd be the first horse

:01:31. > :01:38.Our sports correspondent, Andy Swiss, is at Aintree now.

:01:39. > :01:46.Andy, anticipation building, maybe a little bit of pressure on Many

:01:47. > :01:51.Clouds too? Yes, Ore, welcome to Aintree. It's a chilly afternoon

:01:52. > :01:55.here. We've had a little bit of rain this morning, but all eyes are on

:01:56. > :01:59.Many Clouds and on Leighton Aspell to see whether they can make

:02:00. > :02:03.history. The National is one of the most unpredictable events in sport.

:02:04. > :02:08.No horse has won it two years in a row since Red Rum, back in the

:02:09. > :02:12.1970s. But Many Clouds has a fantastic chance to match that feat.

:02:13. > :02:16.He is still favourite with the bookies. Leighton Aspell is hoping

:02:17. > :02:21.to become the first jockey to win the National three years in a row.

:02:22. > :02:28.No jockey has ever achieved that. Remember, he won on Pineau de Re as

:02:29. > :02:33.well back in 2014. Many Clouds is trained in lamb born in Berkshire by

:02:34. > :02:39.Oliver Sherwood. Both trainer and jockey are very much keeping their

:02:40. > :02:43.fingers crossed. Everyone will be nervous. All 40 jockeys will have a

:02:44. > :02:49.little bit of nerves about them. It's healthy. It keeps you sharp,

:02:50. > :02:53.keeps you focused. It will only be pre-race butterflies. From a

:02:54. > :02:58.trainer's point of view I only have to get that horse there in one

:02:59. > :03:01.piece. From my point of view, I'm enjoying the build-up and the run.

:03:02. > :03:06.What happens on the day is another matter. I'll probably be a nervous

:03:07. > :03:11.wreck, but as long as he comes back in one piece, that's all I care

:03:12. > :03:16.about. Good to hear from the Many Clouds camp, but there'll be plenty

:03:17. > :03:20.of sets of eyes on them when this race gets going won't there? Yes,

:03:21. > :03:25.that's right. People are asking, could we for the first time have a

:03:26. > :03:30.female jockey winning the National. Nina Carberry has a great chance. He

:03:31. > :03:36.is on board Sir Des Champs. She had a late call-up last night after Ruby

:03:37. > :03:44.Walsh fractured his wrist. His sister, Katie Walsh is on Bally

:03:45. > :03:51.Casey. Katie came third two years ago on Sea Bass. Normally 40 start

:03:52. > :03:55.the National. This year already down to 39 horses because one has been

:03:56. > :04:00.ruled out because of injury. But the bookies on the course are already

:04:01. > :04:06.doing a roaring trade. An estimated ?200 million will be bet on this

:04:07. > :04:13.race. A slightly later start than normal, 5.15pm. It would be a

:04:14. > :04:16.potentially historic day here at Aintree. Thank you very much.

:04:17. > :04:19.From fences to fairways and to Augusta, where Rory McIlroy

:04:20. > :04:22.has closed the gap on leader Jordan Speith at the US Masters,

:04:23. > :04:24.the only major that eludes the Northern Irishman.

:04:25. > :04:25.Highlights are coming up here on BBC One in

:04:26. > :04:32.Before that, Hazel Irvine looks back on an eventful day's play.

:04:33. > :04:40.It's part two for the 80th playing of the Masters. Masters. At the

:04:41. > :04:45.halfway stage Jordan Spieth holds the advantage, but only by a narrow

:04:46. > :04:50.margin. Having held a two-shot lead into round 2, it was cut to just one

:04:51. > :04:54.after Jordan experienced his first ever round over par. 74 that

:04:55. > :04:59.included four birdies and a double bogey, and with it even a four-putt,

:05:00. > :05:05.unheart of from him. It has given the others a little bit of hope,

:05:06. > :05:09.including Rory McIlroy, should shot one of the few rounds under par on a

:05:10. > :05:12.testing and difficult day. Jordan Spieth reckons this could be a

:05:13. > :05:17.battle and a real challenge between the two of them from here on in.

:05:18. > :05:19.Hopefully the next couple of days bring outs one of the better battles

:05:20. > :05:25.that have ever happened here. That have would be a lot of fun if I was

:05:26. > :05:29.a part of that. Rory's proving himself in Middle Ages. We have a

:05:30. > :05:34.Green Jacket already. It could be a lot of fun for the both of us even

:05:35. > :05:37.though it will be a grind. Jordan is the defending champion and he's

:05:38. > :05:41.playing great here. He's very comfortable on this golf course. I

:05:42. > :05:45.feel like I've got some unfinished business here over the past few

:05:46. > :05:51.years. Yeah, I would look forward to it. Jordan is playing very, very

:05:52. > :05:56.well. If I were to have a battle with him, the next two days, I would

:05:57. > :06:01.enjoy it and hopefully I could come out on top. Only seven men under

:06:02. > :06:05.par, Rory and Jordan will be paired together in the final pairing for

:06:06. > :06:11.the first time ever at a weekend. We'll be live to share in all of it.

:06:12. > :06:17.Our live streams come on the air roughly around 4.45am, and then we

:06:18. > :06:21.are on air for real from 7.30pm, BBC Two, with live and uninterrupted

:06:22. > :06:26.coverage of round 3. Of course, the final round tomorrow, when the Green

:06:27. > :06:32.Jacket lot be won. But by whom? Join us, I hope you can share it with us.

:06:33. > :06:34.We'll catch you in a little bit of time, 7.30pm.

:06:35. > :06:37.Well, while an exciting weekend awaits at Augusta,

:06:38. > :06:41.tonight London's O2 Arena will be jumping when British boxer

:06:42. > :06:44.In only his 16th fight as a professional, he faces

:06:45. > :06:51.American Charles Martin for the IBF world heavyweight title.

:06:52. > :06:58.Ladies and gentlemen, Anthony Joshua!

:06:59. > :07:01.Some fighters never get a shot of the world title.

:07:02. > :07:14.Anthony Joshua has his chance sooner than many expected.

:07:15. > :07:17.Just 15 professional fights later he can become the first reigning

:07:18. > :07:21.Olympic heavyweight champion to become a world champion too.

:07:22. > :07:23.When you mention it it gets my blood boiling.

:07:24. > :07:27.But I've got to keep a lid on it and just do what I do.

:07:28. > :07:32.If I can do that, all the rewards are going to come after.

:07:33. > :07:35.For the man who sells his fights, he's the golden ticket.

:07:36. > :07:37.It doesn't really matter who you are, you just

:07:38. > :07:43.It doesn't matter if you are a 21-year-old having a pint in a pub

:07:44. > :07:45.or a 85-year-old grandmother knitting a jumper, there's something

:07:46. > :07:51.When a fighter and star comes along like this, it's a really wonderful

:07:52. > :07:57.The heavyweight division has been in the doldrums for years,

:07:58. > :07:59.but if Tyson Fury can come through his rematch

:08:00. > :08:00.against Wladimir Klitschko in the summer,

:08:01. > :08:09.a win here for Anthony Joshua against the American IBF world

:08:10. > :08:13.champion Charles Martin could set up a mouthwatering unification fight.

:08:14. > :08:16.The British boxing scene has never been brighter.

:08:17. > :08:18.There are currently 11 British world champions spread

:08:19. > :08:20.across the divisions, from Fury in the heavyweights

:08:21. > :08:23.through to bantamweight, and there are more coming through.

:08:24. > :08:30.But a former champ is in no doubt which name is on the list.

:08:31. > :08:33.Josh is going to transcend the sport and become a superstar.

:08:34. > :08:36.I'm probably a little bit biased, he's a good friend of mine,

:08:37. > :08:38.but look at him, he's a physical specimen.

:08:39. > :08:43.It's down to him now, and he's got the right mindset.

:08:44. > :08:46.The mindset will be keeping that unbeaten record, but the same

:08:47. > :08:48.goes for the American, so as they say in boxing...

:08:49. > :09:01.And there's live commentary of that fight over on Radio

:09:02. > :09:11.From the BBC Sport Centre though, it's goodbye.
