:00:37. > :00:44.Greg Dyke has backed England to win the European Championships. He is in

:00:45. > :00:47.Paris for today's Euro 2016 draw where England, Wales, Northern

:00:48. > :00:52.Ireland and Republic of Ireland will find out who they will face in June.

:00:53. > :00:55.Ulster have boosted their hopes of qualifying for the European Rugby

:00:56. > :01:01.champions Poole after running in five tries against Toulouse. They

:01:02. > :01:07.ran out 38-0 winners and now sit in second place behind Saracens who

:01:08. > :01:11.play tomorrow. Australia have beaten West Indies inside three days in the

:01:12. > :01:20.first test in Hobart winning by a quite spectacular innings and 212

:01:21. > :01:24.runs. The Olympic champion Anthony Joshua steps back into British

:01:25. > :01:29.boxing's spotlight this evening when he takes on a fellow London

:01:30. > :01:33.heavyweight Dillian Whyte. Joshua and met at amateur level with the

:01:34. > :01:38.win back then but Joshua hopes for a different outcome this time as he

:01:39. > :01:43.takes what he expects to be another shot at the world title. We've been

:01:44. > :01:48.to meet the man who has become known for his fast fights.

:01:49. > :01:58.Anthony Joshua! Very few had heard the name Anthony Joshua before the

:01:59. > :02:05.London Olympics. On the grander stage of all, this young boxer is

:02:06. > :02:09.crowned Olympic champion. With a gold medal around his neck at the

:02:10. > :02:13.world quickly took notice and now he is professional he is keeping their

:02:14. > :02:18.attention. I was 21 at the time, 26 now. You go through life and go

:02:19. > :02:21.through different experiences. You realise what's important to you,

:02:22. > :02:26.because time is running out, we are not here for ever. That urgency is

:02:27. > :02:32.evident in the ring. He's a man who does not like to wait around. As a

:02:33. > :02:36.professional Anthony Joshua has won all 14 of his fights and spent less

:02:37. > :02:41.than an hour in the ring. Next up, a guy who managed to beat him six

:02:42. > :02:49.years ago in the amateurs. 2009, October. Anthony Joshua and Dillan

:02:50. > :02:56.Whyte. We had a number league double fight, it showed me how tough he was

:02:57. > :03:00.and what an amateur fight is about. After that fight I'd knuckled down,

:03:01. > :03:05.because I didn't want to go through having a loss again any time soon.

:03:06. > :03:08.It inspired me to get back out and change my game plan, whatever I was

:03:09. > :03:16.doing wasn't good enough to compete at that level. It was a lesson well

:03:17. > :03:20.learned. Three years later came the Olympic title, and that's been

:03:21. > :03:26.followed by an explosive start to his professional career. This man is

:03:27. > :03:30.so colourful and so talented and so promising. It is a plan that is

:03:31. > :03:37.paying off right now. Dillan Whyte might be the stepping stone to a

:03:38. > :03:42.title assault Joshua wants. Now that challenge may come sooner. Where

:03:43. > :03:46.ever I go with boxing, it will be better than when I started. I've

:03:47. > :03:53.done something positive, I've learnt stuff, mature Dummett great people.

:03:54. > :03:58.What more can I ask for? Not one of his fights has gone beyond the third

:03:59. > :04:05.round but a lack of ring experience doesn't bother him. I don't want to

:04:06. > :04:10.go 12 rounds, that's not what I want to do, I want to be devastating,

:04:11. > :04:14.steam-rolling. Anything that gets on my way I will do anything to get it

:04:15. > :04:16.out of my way. Simple strategy. Looking forward to that.

:04:17. > :04:19.And there's commentary of that fight on BBC Radio 5 Live

:04:20. > :04:22.You might think boxing involves big build ups,

:04:23. > :04:28.but there's been a year's worth of promotion ahead

:04:29. > :04:30.of Ireland's Conor McGregor's involvement in the biggest fight

:04:31. > :04:40.in Ultimate Fighting Championship Featherweight history.

:04:41. > :04:42.McGregor takes on Brazil's Jose Aldo in Las Vegas later tonight

:04:43. > :04:44.in the premier competition of Mixed Martial Arts.

:04:45. > :04:47.Before he left, Azi Farni caught up with McGregor in his home city

:04:48. > :04:53.The notorious Conor McGregor is one of the Ultimate Fighting

:04:54. > :04:55.Championship's biggest stars, who has helped bring

:04:56. > :04:57.Mixed Martial Arts into the mainstream,

:04:58. > :05:01.dominance started as a young boy, fixated on the details of combat

:05:02. > :05:08.I was just interested in self defence as a kid.

:05:09. > :05:11.Fights would happen growing up, and for me it stuck in my head

:05:12. > :05:14.when a fight would happen, or a fight would break out.

:05:15. > :05:16.I saw other kids just jump up and run off,

:05:17. > :05:19.forget about it and play their game or do what they were doing.

:05:20. > :05:22.For me, I would sit back and analyse it, study it and become

:05:23. > :05:28.So I eventually wanted to go combat sports gyms and learn different ways

:05:29. > :05:30.I could attack and defend, so that's how I ended up

:05:31. > :05:33.Here in McGregor's hometown of Dublin his

:05:34. > :05:39.His presence fills the streets all over

:05:40. > :05:42.Ireland, and he himself is proud to represent his Celtic roots.

:05:43. > :05:44.To see an Irishman at the top of the game,

:05:45. > :05:47.the fight game, it's never really happened before at this level,

:05:48. > :05:50.so I think people are just latching onto it.

:05:51. > :05:54.It's a young kid from around the way who has come up and taken

:05:55. > :06:00.McGregor's biggest test so far will come on Saturday,

:06:01. > :06:02.when he faces the world champion from Brazil,

:06:03. > :06:06.I simply see victory, I simply see dominance,

:06:07. > :06:13.McGregor's personality has helped propel UFC

:06:14. > :06:21.If he beats Jose Aldo in Vegas, who knows where he and UFC could go.

:06:22. > :06:23.It's up there with one of the biggest fights

:06:24. > :06:27.It will certainly generate upwards, if not surpass, the $100

:06:28. > :06:33.It's a big one, like they all are when I'm

:06:34. > :06:43.It's been a disappointing finish to an otherwise impressive year

:06:44. > :06:54.The men finished in sixth place in Argentina while the women lost in

:06:55. > :06:58.the quarterfinals of the tournament. Both teams had already qualified

:06:59. > :07:04.earlier in the year for the Rio Olympics, while women's women one

:07:05. > :07:09.gold in August. But those results may serve as something of a wake-up

:07:10. > :07:11.call for 2016. Nick Hope reports from Argentina.

:07:12. > :07:15.Just a few days ago there was a very different mood in the camp. The

:07:16. > :07:22.women had beaten Australia, the world ranked number 20 team. But

:07:23. > :07:27.then they came up against New Zealand. The side who are considered

:07:28. > :07:33.a pretty even Mac dominated the match on Thursday. England struggled

:07:34. > :07:36.in the 40 degrees heat. Rio will be cooler than this but this suggests

:07:37. > :07:41.there will be plenty of work to do before those games. It is probably a

:07:42. > :07:45.good blessing in disguise to have gone undefeated and then to lose to

:07:46. > :07:50.New Zealand by one goal, to not put away our chances against China and

:07:51. > :07:54.win that game, the hard-won experiences, we need those for Rio.

:07:55. > :07:59.The goalkeeper says despite the result they are making significant

:08:00. > :08:04.progress. The girls did a fantastic job, but we will be looking to go

:08:05. > :08:07.and do at least one better. Everyone is going out there to pick up a gold

:08:08. > :08:11.medal. We have shown in the last 12 months we are side that can do that.

:08:12. > :08:17.It is now a case of us trying to find those little bits that come

:08:18. > :08:24.that final mean we win it. 1988 is the only time GB. Gold. Although the

:08:25. > :08:27.results for the men and women show they are not quite at that level at

:08:28. > :08:31.the moment, perhaps it will ripen with more motivation going into the

:08:32. > :08:33.winter training and they will come back stronger next year for the Rio

:08:34. > :08:39.Olympics. The Euro 2016 draw is

:08:40. > :08:44.On BBC Two from 5.15pm. Norwich are still goalless in the

:08:45. > :08:46.Premier League. In the Scottish Premiership,

:08:47. > :08:48.Aberdeen can close the gap on leaders Celtic to a point -

:08:49. > :08:52.if they beat Hearts. It is still goalless. That is it for

:08:53. > :08:58.now, goodbye.
