:00:07. > :00:15.Hello and welcome to the BBC Sport Centre. Three juicy morsels from the

:00:16. > :00:22.world of sport. Boxer David Haig makes his return tonight. A British

:00:23. > :00:26.skiing hopeful. And American football's first female coach. Where

:00:27. > :00:35.else would you get all this except on Saturday Sportsday.

:00:36. > :00:40.The former world champion David Haye makes his return to the ring

:00:41. > :00:45.He last fought in 2012, and is now 35, but he has denied

:00:46. > :00:48.that the only reason he is taking on Australia's Mark De Mori

:00:49. > :00:52.And he told Olly Foster he's going to be a world-class

:00:53. > :01:08.I am healthy, fit, still fresh as a daisy, I have a lot left to give. I

:01:09. > :01:11.would be doing a disservice to myself and fans if I were to pack it

:01:12. > :01:15.up. David Kay has a gallery of past

:01:16. > :01:21.glories in his gym. Didn't you break your hand? In the

:01:22. > :01:25.second hand -- in the second round, my right hand on his head.

:01:26. > :01:31.Most people do you have to hit them on the top of the head to break your

:01:32. > :01:35.hand. He became heavyweight champion of

:01:36. > :01:39.the world, a title he lost two years later to Vladimir Klitschko. He

:01:40. > :01:47.retired on his 31st birthday before a comeback cut short by injury.

:01:48. > :01:51.Mark De Mori is getting knocked out. It is three years since he put on

:01:52. > :01:55.gloves and many see the fight against Mark De Mori as a

:01:56. > :01:59.much-needed paycheque rather than a series returned to the top of the

:02:00. > :02:05.sport. Can you afford to lose? The

:02:06. > :02:10.naturally, I can afford to lose. But for myself, no.

:02:11. > :02:12.What is the motivation to get back in?

:02:13. > :02:19.People want to see you winning impressively. He seemed changed.

:02:20. > :02:25.Tyson Fury holds two world titles by beating Vladimir Klitschko. He has

:02:26. > :02:29.vowed never to fight Haye. In the politics of boxing, Haye may be best

:02:30. > :02:34.going down the Anthony Josh were route.

:02:35. > :02:40.Maybe he will go down a world title route. I believe he can win a world

:02:41. > :02:45.title. I could then challenge him. There are so many paths. Tonight, he

:02:46. > :02:50.needs to win and also shown he has got what it takes to reach the top.

:02:51. > :02:56.It is not just winning the fight but spectacularly, impressively, and

:02:57. > :03:00.sending shock waves around the world, that is my motivation in

:03:01. > :03:05.coming back. Good luck to David tonight.

:03:06. > :03:15.Dave Ryding is changing skiing prospects for Britton, Alpine skiing

:03:16. > :03:18.gets nothing from UK sport but Ryding hopes his success will

:03:19. > :03:25.breathe new life and money into skiing.

:03:26. > :03:33.It was a pressure cooker situation, you against the Manton.

:03:34. > :03:39.The slalom, up to 180. You have to keep moving. It is not a nice

:03:40. > :03:41.feeling. It is a massive relief to see you

:03:42. > :03:46.feeling. It is a massive relief to Something Dave Ryding has done this

:03:47. > :03:52.season, two top 15 World Cup finishes. Which he attributes to an

:03:53. > :03:55.intense training raging on and off the snow.

:03:56. > :04:01.I feel the gym side makes a big difference. If I am not strong, then

:04:02. > :04:06.with the speed of movement I can feel slower.

:04:07. > :04:12.Definitely a big part of Alpine skiing. His path towards skiing has

:04:13. > :04:17.been challenging, the British Alpine programme receives no UK sport

:04:18. > :04:20.funding, something Ryding believes would have been different had Alan

:04:21. > :04:26.Baxter not been stripped of Olympic bronze. He served a ban after

:04:27. > :04:29.testing positive for a restricted substance but proved he had taken it

:04:30. > :04:37.accidentally. I remember watching it, it was

:04:38. > :04:41.surreal. A British medal. Taken away from it -- away from him the way it

:04:42. > :04:45.was. Sponsors would have been lined up for the team. In the end, it is a

:04:46. > :04:51.travesty. Conditions were so tough the British

:04:52. > :04:56.Federation went bankrupt ahead of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Help

:04:57. > :04:59.from family and sponsors ensured Ryding could battle on and he is

:05:00. > :05:05.targeting a third Olympic appearance.

:05:06. > :05:10.It has been tough for your sport, are things turning the corner?

:05:11. > :05:14.Totally. We have some good young guys skiing and hopefully we can

:05:15. > :05:19.bring more people into the sport and secure Lottery funding.

:05:20. > :05:21.How much of a difference would it make?

:05:22. > :05:22.It would benefit the programme massively and support the young guys

:05:23. > :05:30.coming through with a nice pathway. massively and support the young guys

:05:31. > :05:38.I am confident if I keep working, I can do something special.

:05:39. > :05:40.Hopefully we will sort -- seek a lot more of Dave in the future.

:05:41. > :05:43.This weekend, the NFL playoffs continue, and one of the teams

:05:44. > :05:44.tipped to go far is the ground-breaking Arizona

:05:45. > :05:48.Back in July, its head coach heard about a promising tactician

:05:49. > :05:52.And she was brought in to help during pre-season,

:05:53. > :05:55.making her the first female coach in the league.

:05:56. > :06:10.It is America's most popular and most macho sport.

:06:11. > :06:14.Usually the only women on the field have pom-poms.

:06:15. > :06:19.This season, Jen Welter took the NFL into new territory.

:06:20. > :06:22.Back in July, she helped to coach the Arizona Cardinals

:06:23. > :06:24.during pre-season, making her the first female coach

:06:25. > :06:33.Football is the final frontier for women in sport.

:06:34. > :06:36.I wasn't sure if I was going to be a little bit shy, how

:06:37. > :06:46.It was like, this is football, it is natural.

:06:47. > :06:51.Five months on, Welter is in her home state of Florida,

:06:52. > :07:03.It is awesome, I wish more women knew we could be empowered.

:07:04. > :07:08.I look on coaches as teachers, leaders, motivators.

:07:09. > :07:12.I don't think it would matter if it was a woman or man.

:07:13. > :07:14.Welter knows football because she has played

:07:15. > :07:16.professionally for 14 years, including a bruising spell

:07:17. > :07:21.as running back for a men's team in Texas.

:07:22. > :07:24.As we stand and watch the NFL players warm up,

:07:25. > :07:29.it is clear her story has made an impression.

:07:30. > :07:33.It has helped present the league in a more inclusive light.

:07:34. > :07:40.But Welter denied there was motive behind her appointment.

:07:41. > :07:51.If they read my biography, and they knew everything about me

:07:52. > :07:55.In American sport, there is no bigger show than Game Day

:07:56. > :08:07.The fact Jen Welter was part of this match game but accepted

:08:08. > :08:12.Having a female coach as a full-time assistant is the next step.

:08:13. > :08:17.What will be great is the time when it becomes normal.

:08:18. > :08:20.Her time on the touchline was brief and may still continue but she has

:08:21. > :08:26.been here long enough to be a role model.

:08:27. > :08:33.Every young girl can grow up and dream of being in the NFL.

:08:34. > :08:36.That is probably one of the greatest things that ha come out of this.

:08:37. > :08:39.Just time to update you on the score in the third Test between England

:08:40. > :08:45.But it's been a great morning for Stuart Broad.
