:00:00. > :00:08.Hello and welcome to the BBC Sport Centre.

:00:09. > :00:10.I'm Karthi Gnanasegaram. Welcome to a new series of

:00:11. > :00:26.Saturday Sportsday. Coming up on this week's programme:

:00:27. > :00:30.A fourth final for England at the Women's Rugby World Cup.

:00:31. > :00:34.Can they take the title for the first time in 20 years?

:00:35. > :00:38.We meet the Blade Babe who's more than just a catchy nickname

:00:39. > :00:42.and aims to prove it at the IPC European Athletics Championships.

:00:43. > :00:45.And with the FA Cup back on the BBC, we take a look at the first steps

:00:46. > :00:53.to Wembley for the minnows, as we go from 368 teams to one winner.

:00:54. > :00:55.First, let's take a look at some of today's sporting headlines.

:00:56. > :00:59.Two-time Major winner Andy Murray is out of the Cincinatti Masters.

:01:00. > :01:03.He was beaten in straight sets by Roger Federer in the quarter finals.

:01:04. > :01:06.100 and counting for Team GB. Adam Gemili's victory in the 200m

:01:07. > :01:11.in Zurich marks a century of medals in the European Championships.

:01:12. > :01:13.And the Premier League starts today. Louis Van Gaal plans to make

:01:14. > :01:14.a winning start as Manchester United manager in

:01:15. > :01:24.the early kick off against Swansea. Let's go to the Oval,

:01:25. > :01:26.where England continue to dominate India in the fifth and final Test.

:01:27. > :01:31.They resumed this morning on 62 without loss

:01:32. > :01:33.but promptly lost an early wicket. England had bowled India out

:01:34. > :01:41.for just 148 on day one. Joe Wilson has the latest.

:01:42. > :01:52.There are low floodlights on, certainly not the conditions we saw

:01:53. > :01:55.on Friday. England could imagine themselves 200 runs ahead by the

:01:56. > :02:00.close, but amongst team progress, there are always individual issues.

:02:01. > :02:04.Sam Robson clean bowled in the second over of the day, rather stuck

:02:05. > :02:09.in the crease, but by the time the next Test series starts in the

:02:10. > :02:13.spring, an alternative candidate may have emerged. England could do with

:02:14. > :02:14.some acceleration at the top of the order, maybe Alex Hales could

:02:15. > :02:16.provide it. As per this order, maybe Alex Hales could

:02:17. > :02:18.provide it. As per this series and this match, all of the questions

:02:19. > :02:23.remain India's to answer. Joe Wilson has the latest.

:02:24. > :02:27.The BBC Sport website will have updates of that match, as well

:02:28. > :02:33.as live commentary of the final day of England's

:02:34. > :02:35.Women's Test against India. England's women's cricketers are now

:02:36. > :02:38.full-time professionals - not so for the national women's

:02:39. > :02:40.Rugby Union side. Well, despite most of them having to

:02:41. > :02:44.take unpaid leave from work, they are into the World Cup Final.

:02:45. > :02:46.They last won it 20 years ago. Sara Orchard reports from France.

:02:47. > :02:49.This is Talinka, an unlikely mascot adopted by England's women

:02:50. > :02:51.at their Paris training camp. This is a pet whilst we're away

:02:52. > :02:54.home, so we bought the dogs some treats and a brush.

:02:55. > :02:57.A happy distraction for a team under increasing pressure.

:02:58. > :02:59.England's women are heading into a fourth consecutive World Cup final.

:03:00. > :03:02.With no trophy their name, they are refusing to talk of winning.

:03:03. > :03:04.No, it is definitely all about the process.

:03:05. > :03:07.As soon as you start thinking about lifting cups, that is

:03:08. > :03:12.when you fall over, to be honest. We have worked so hard,

:03:13. > :03:15.the management, the staff, the RFU, and it would make a massive

:03:16. > :03:18.difference for us come Sunday night. The Stade Jean-Bouin is sold out

:03:19. > :03:21.for Sunday's final, and whilst tournament organisers might quietly

:03:22. > :03:25.bemoan the fact that host nation France never made it through to the

:03:26. > :03:29.showpiece final, they are thrilled with the tournament's impact.

:03:30. > :03:31.It has been a phenomenal tournament so far.

:03:32. > :03:36.We want to develop women's rugby. Back in Canada, it's been amazing

:03:37. > :03:39.and so hopefully it keeps going. This is the Canadians' first final ,

:03:40. > :03:41.but England will have little time for their opponents' achievements .

:03:42. > :03:46.Having last lifted the trophy in '94, maybe woman's best friend

:03:47. > :03:59.will bring them the luck they need to end their 20-year wait.

:04:00. > :04:02.Team GB are near the top of the European Athletics

:04:03. > :04:04.Championships in Zurich and a similar result is hoped for in

:04:05. > :04:07.Swansea at the IPC Championships, which get underway next week.

:04:08. > :04:10.But the likes of Paralympic champion Marlou van Rhine of the Netherlands

:04:11. > :04:11.will be out to stop them. Our reporter Jamie Broughton went to

:04:12. > :04:24.meet the Dutch sprinting sensation. You do have to train a lot, and I

:04:25. > :04:34.think you can only train that much if you have fun. And if you have the

:04:35. > :04:38.feeling that you can win. 42, it is a love of running fast and setting

:04:39. > :04:44.new world records that has seen her become one of the rising stars in

:04:45. > :04:52.Paralympic sport -- 42. She lives in Amsterdam but trained near our name.

:04:53. > :04:58.-- near our name. After starting as a swimming, it was the head of the

:04:59. > :04:59.Dutch Paralympics team that spotted her potential as a

:05:00. > :05:01.Dutch Paralympics team that spotted her potential sprinter and he

:05:02. > :05:06.believes she has the psychological edge over her rivals. When you win a

:05:07. > :05:10.lot and put them fast times, the others are intimidated. It is like

:05:11. > :05:16.Usain Bolt, you can't beat Usain Bolt but it is difficult, because he

:05:17. > :05:20.is Usain Bolt. You have to be really good. Running on carbon fibre blades

:05:21. > :05:27.makes the Dutch star standout on the track and she has long been known as

:05:28. > :05:32.the Blade Babe. There are two types of people, one that they get it is a

:05:33. > :05:34.joke and it is a compliment and the other ones think it is not

:05:35. > :05:40.politically correct, because you are a girl and you don't have to be

:05:41. > :05:44.judged how you look. I think that is true as well, but I do think that

:05:45. > :05:49.when people look at me, they look at my athletic abilities and the name

:05:50. > :05:53.is just for fun. There is now even an app so fans can follow her

:05:54. > :06:00.progress on their mobile phones and tablet devices. It has been a good

:06:01. > :06:04.season for Marlou van Rhine, who won this race in Manchester and then

:06:05. > :06:10.followed it by breaking the 400m world record in Zurich. May she is

:06:11. > :06:14.looking to win the 100m and 200m at the European Championships, having

:06:15. > :06:18.done the double last year in Lyon. I am hoping for a great race, I hope

:06:19. > :06:21.everyone steps up their game and we make a fun race out of it.

:06:22. > :06:24.meet the Dutch sprinting sensation. It's a bit longer to wait

:06:25. > :06:29.for the 2015 FA Cup Final. 284 days, to be precise.

:06:30. > :06:31.But for many lower league clubs, the competition starts this weekend,

:06:32. > :06:34.with the Extra Premliminary round. Glossop North End are among those in

:06:35. > :06:40.action, and as Patrick Gearey found out, they have plenty of history.

:06:41. > :06:47.Glossop, 150 miles from Wembley, further still from football's

:06:48. > :06:51.elite. But once, this part of Derbyshire was right in the heart of

:06:52. > :06:55.the English game. Glossop can feel like a long way from anywhere but a

:06:56. > :06:59.century ago, these hills would have been teeming with Mills. One of the

:07:00. > :07:03.mill owners was in charge of the local football club and they spent

:07:04. > :07:09.their way to the top. Armed with the cash from his cotton mills, Samuel

:07:10. > :07:13.Hill would help Glossop reach the regional FA Cup quarterfinal and the

:07:14. > :07:17.first division, the smallest town to ever have a team at the top level.

:07:18. > :07:23.After the wars, the mills closed and he headed south, where he put his

:07:24. > :07:29.money into Arsenal. Generations of Gunners and his family went on to

:07:30. > :07:36.dominate football while Glossop went further down. And ahead of a game of

:07:37. > :07:40.AFC Blackpool, cup dreams are realistic. We know it is not

:07:41. > :07:45.something we are going to win, but it is something we can hope to get a

:07:46. > :07:48.good gate in four and go out and enjoy it. The further we go in the

:07:49. > :07:53.competition, the more money for the club and hopefully we can draw a

:07:54. > :07:58.good side from a good level and, you know, have an opportunity to maybe

:07:59. > :08:02.come in front of the cameras at some point, which would be nice. With a

:08:03. > :08:07.grand to maintain and improve, cash is important. Glossop one of the 368

:08:08. > :08:15.teams in the extra preliminary round. Each winning team will pick

:08:16. > :08:23.up ?1500, and if they win two more, it will and then ?6,000 at least.

:08:24. > :08:26.But it is more a -- about more than finance. It is always enjoyable to

:08:27. > :08:29.have an exciting game and just be involved in the cup, in the history

:08:30. > :08:33.of the world's greatest cup competition is fantastic. Samuel

:08:34. > :08:40.Hill would way have moved away when the mills close but his resting

:08:41. > :08:44.place is in a Glossop churchyard. Doubtless, Arsenal's FA Cup triumph

:08:45. > :08:48.would have given him great joy but this weekend, perhaps he is watching

:08:49. > :08:52.over his first football love. The FA Cup returns as does the

:08:53. > :08:55.Premier League, Manchester United and Swansea is still 0-0 at Old

:08:56. > :08:58.Trafford. There is commentary on Radio 5Live. That is it from

:08:59. > :09:01.Saturday Sportsday, goodbye.
