:00:18. > :00:25.Hello there and welcome to the BBC Sport Centre. Coming up, world title
:00:26. > :00:30.boxing and two very different paths to Rio. But first, the headlines.
:00:31. > :00:34.Gianni Infantino has his first day at work as Fifa president, voted in
:00:35. > :00:38.yesterday. He has vowed to implement reform at the organisation. Wales
:00:39. > :00:42.are top of the Six Nations table after beating France 19-10 in
:00:43. > :00:46.Cardiff and England can return to the top if they avoid defeat to
:00:47. > :00:49.Ireland later. Scotland are initially looking for their first
:00:50. > :00:52.win of the championship. Rory McIlroy has missed the cut in
:00:53. > :00:56.Florida for the second year running. He is a former champion at the PGA
:00:57. > :01:04.Tour event. He said that mental errors and sloppy mistakes that
:01:05. > :01:08.cost. He's going to be supporting Carl Frampton tonight as he takes on
:01:09. > :01:12.Scott Quigg. Both men are putting their world titles on the line. The
:01:13. > :01:17.build-up has been really properly with the unbeaten champions fighting
:01:18. > :01:22.on who has got of the best dressing room. Scott Quigg is going to have
:01:23. > :01:28.mass of local support. We have spent time with him ahead of the biggest
:01:29. > :01:34.fight of his career. You decide when the final bell goes. People train
:01:35. > :01:39.hard. Other people push themselves to the limit but my limit is a lot
:01:40. > :01:42.further than anybody's else. Scott Quigg is the World Champion boxer
:01:43. > :01:47.you probably have not heard of. He lives away from the limelight. His
:01:48. > :01:52.weekends are spent training in Saddleworth, where everything is
:01:53. > :01:56.hard and intense. These early morning runs have long been part of
:01:57. > :02:02.his life. And it all stems from a decision he and his parents made ten
:02:03. > :02:04.years ago. School was not for the sports obsessed teenager and he took
:02:05. > :02:11.extraordinary lengths to dedicate his life to boxing. We went in one
:02:12. > :02:15.day and sat there and he asked them to expel him. I thought, well, if
:02:16. > :02:19.that is what he wants, you will not learn at school. I was not getting
:02:20. > :02:25.anything out of it and neither was the school. I would not be here now
:02:26. > :02:29.if it was not for that decision. His dad made him work in a factory in
:02:30. > :02:32.order to experience what life would be like if he did not succeed. Not
:02:33. > :02:37.that Scots needed that lesson. Training took over as life and soon,
:02:38. > :02:42.the whole family's. We went to Florida once for a family holiday.
:02:43. > :02:48.All the time we were there, all he was concerned about was going home.
:02:49. > :02:52.He has not lived a life, the last ten years, but it is what he wanted
:02:53. > :02:58.to do. He has been fully focused and nothing can get in the way. All the
:02:59. > :03:02.hard work has paid off and Scott is now a World Champion but so is his
:03:03. > :03:05.opponent, Carl Frampton, who brings his world title to Manchester this
:03:06. > :03:10.evening for an all British unification fight that has grabbed
:03:11. > :03:16.the attention of the world's media. I feel like a kid at Christmas. I am
:03:17. > :03:20.super excited. I cannot wait to get going. There has been a lot of back
:03:21. > :03:25.and forth for a long time and the fight is just around the corner. To
:03:26. > :03:30.be involved in a fight where we are both unbeaten, both world champions,
:03:31. > :03:34.both lucky to have each other, and be as good as we are, that is what
:03:35. > :03:38.makes this fight so big. Belfast and Manchester will be represented in
:03:39. > :03:41.their thousands. The fight sold out in a matter of minutes and the
:03:42. > :03:46.bookmakers cannot split them. The stakes are high for both fighters
:03:47. > :03:49.and there is no room for self-doubt. People can say that they are
:03:50. > :03:55.dedicated and focused, and they might be. But they do not come close
:03:56. > :03:58.to the way I live. But that will not win me the fight. What will win me
:03:59. > :04:03.the fight will be that I am the better fighter and I will prove that
:04:04. > :04:08.on the night. And that site is live on Radio Five Live from ten o'clock
:04:09. > :04:12.tonight. The world title, the pinnacle of their careers. This
:04:13. > :04:14.summer it is all about Olympic and Paralympic gold for thousands of
:04:15. > :04:21.athletes. The real games are less than six months away. John drain has
:04:22. > :04:27.secured a place in the barrel of the judo squad. He is visually impaired
:04:28. > :04:29.and suffers from an attention deficit disorder which throws up
:04:30. > :04:42.further challenges. We went to meet him. Particularly with this sort of
:04:43. > :04:46.thing, ADHD is not a great partner. I was not willing to accept the
:04:47. > :04:51.problems with my eyesight. This is how John sees the world and the judo
:04:52. > :04:59.M80. Five years ago, during a routine eye check, he was told he
:05:00. > :05:02.was losing his sight. -- judo M80. His life then changed for ever. For
:05:03. > :05:11.me, I thought this could not be real. I was very reluctant, I
:05:12. > :05:21.thought it could not be right. It seemed unfair. Despite his
:05:22. > :05:27.reservations, he became a world bronze medallist in 2014. However,
:05:28. > :05:32.nine months ago, he suffered a serious knee injury that threatened
:05:33. > :05:41.his chances of qualifying for real. Personally, I don't think I dealt
:05:42. > :05:46.with it well. It was more about the rehabilitation of my mind than my
:05:47. > :05:50.knee. I was in a sad place. Just before the injury, I was suffering
:05:51. > :05:58.from depression and with the injury and everything, it went as far as
:05:59. > :06:05.depression can go. From the darkest of days, he turned it around. In
:06:06. > :06:12.real, he will be battling for gold but now, he is focused on the
:06:13. > :06:16.battles closer to home. You always look back at something through the
:06:17. > :06:21.last emotional experience. I only wish to think back to the last five
:06:22. > :06:23.months when I have had the support. That is why I am hesitant about
:06:24. > :06:27.looking too far ahead. So he is Rio bound -
:06:28. > :06:29.hurdler Andrew Pozzi will hope He was flying in the build up
:06:30. > :06:35.to the 2012 Games but an injury The 23 year old is racing
:06:36. > :06:43.at the British Indoor Championships He's Olympic dreaming once again,
:06:44. > :06:59.but as he told Joe Lynskey, Andrew Pozzi has not had the best
:07:00. > :07:03.preparations. His legacy wrapped. Pozzi out of the blocks but not
:07:04. > :07:08.running well. And that is it. It must be a huge disappointment? Yes,
:07:09. > :07:12.to lead like that is heartbreaking. There was no happy home Olympics for
:07:13. > :07:15.Andrew Pozzi. It is three and a half years since the heartbreak at the
:07:16. > :07:20.first hurdle but the memories do not get any easier. It was incredibly
:07:21. > :07:25.difficult because it was in London on my friends and family were in
:07:26. > :07:33.London to see me. For me, I needed a couple of days to be by myself. It
:07:34. > :07:38.was not enjoyable at all. I have only watched it once and it was a
:07:39. > :07:42.very formative experience. 2012 proved just the start of Pozzi's
:07:43. > :07:46.injury problems. After the handspring ended his Olympic dream,
:07:47. > :07:50.the next few years were hampered by foot injuries, meaning no chance of
:07:51. > :07:55.making the Commonwealth Games or the World Championships in Beijing.
:07:56. > :08:00.There have been more troughs than peaks and my motivation has fallen
:08:01. > :08:04.drastically. It has been very difficult to keep going, especially
:08:05. > :08:12.when I feel like I have all this potential that I am unable to get
:08:13. > :08:16.out. This weekend, Pozzi returns to competition looking to reclaim his
:08:17. > :08:21.spot as Britain's number one. And with real on the horizon, the next
:08:22. > :08:26.target is a place on the podium. -- and with Rio on the horizon. It is
:08:27. > :08:30.difficult to recover from injury because it does not only Sky you
:08:31. > :08:33.physically, but mentally. It is a tough challenge but he has to be
:08:34. > :08:38.confident that he can do it. It has been a joy to get training again. I
:08:39. > :08:44.want to be in a state where I can do myself justice and the level we can
:08:45. > :08:52.achieve, the only standard is to be challenging for a medal in the
:08:53. > :08:56.final. And fingers crossed he stays injury free. A quick update on the
:08:57. > :08:59.Premier League match at Upton Park. 0-0. From all of us on Saturday
:09:00. > :09:18.Sportsday, goodbye. 'I think he was being
:09:19. > :09:22.nudged there by Moreno.
