:00:17. > :00:27.Eight gruelling months. 21 lung busting rounds. 126 gripping matches

:00:28. > :00:37.and it has all come to this. The final round. Six games all kicking

:00:38. > :00:44.off at the same time. This trophy is still within the grasp but only

:00:45. > :00:52.just. The prize for the Ospreys is a seat at Europe's elite. The Blues

:00:53. > :00:57.are desperate to finish strongly. So to the Dragons who have shown little

:00:58. > :01:08.of their fire breathing fury this year. Welcome to Super Saturday.

:01:09. > :01:13.With one round to go, ten teams still have something to play for.

:01:14. > :01:21.Five into four won't go at the top. Only the Scarlet saw Ulster can go

:01:22. > :01:24.to the semifinals. Munster, the Ospreys and Edinburgh are scrapping

:01:25. > :01:29.over one European Champions Cup place and one will finish today in

:01:30. > :01:33.six lace and will dine at Europe's top table next season. I will be

:01:34. > :01:40.joined by whichever Italian side finishes highest.

:01:41. > :01:49.Good afternoon and welcome. Super Saturday and Edinburgh against the

:01:50. > :01:53.Blues is our featured game today but we will keep you up-to-date with all

:01:54. > :01:59.the action across the league as the proud 12 careers towards us

:02:00. > :02:04.thrilling climax. I think you've memorised all the permutations.

:02:05. > :02:10.Martin, leaks can sometimes Peter out but not the probe well. It's

:02:11. > :02:15.brilliant. There is so much still up for grabs. It could be more

:02:16. > :02:18.straightforward. The top seven should qualify for Europe and that's

:02:19. > :02:23.it for the Champions Cup and how it should be. The top four play-offs

:02:24. > :02:27.were brilliant a few years back and have brought rare atop a seat for

:02:28. > :02:31.the Champions Cup. It's all to play for and it makes for a really

:02:32. > :02:37.exciting afternoon. Not straightforward but exciting. Very

:02:38. > :02:45.exciting. Everyone is doing the sums and trying to figure out who will

:02:46. > :02:51.figure out -- finish where but it's impossible. Do or die time? It tests

:02:52. > :02:55.your squad. And the coaches in selection. More importantly, it's

:02:56. > :03:02.about keeping your nerve and being composed. For many years by not

:03:03. > :03:05.doing anything different. For if you others, it's about trying something

:03:06. > :03:12.different and chasing things. A lot can happen so a big test for all

:03:13. > :03:15.round today. Sean has been given the unenviable task of working out

:03:16. > :03:20.what's going on this afternoon and was -- watching all six games. It's

:03:21. > :03:25.complicated but this is our simple guide to what is at stake.

:03:26. > :03:29.With one man to go, ten of the 12 still have something to play for. A

:03:30. > :03:36.place in the semifinals and next season 's Champions Cup. Five teams

:03:37. > :03:44.are fighting for four semifinal spots and ten, seven champions

:03:45. > :03:49.spots. The Scarlet 's are the flag bearers and the bitter rivals will

:03:50. > :03:55.support each other today. If the Scarlet 's beat Munster they are

:03:56. > :03:59.through to the semis. And the Ospreys victory over Ulster will

:04:00. > :04:03.back them champions top spot if the Scarlet 's beat Munster and deny

:04:04. > :04:07.them that point. The Scarlet 's need one match point more than Ulster and

:04:08. > :04:12.the Ospreys need for more match points then Munster.

:04:13. > :04:22.I'm not sure whether that has made things clearer. The thing is this,

:04:23. > :04:25.the Ospreys and the Scarlets are the bitterest of rivals and there are in

:04:26. > :04:30.a bizarre situation where they rely on each other for favours will stop

:04:31. > :04:36.it could be bittersweet for the fans and everyone concerned. It's good we

:04:37. > :04:45.have two regions at least contending for the top spots. I'm pretty sure

:04:46. > :04:49.both squads won't focus on the other team at all. It's about controlling

:04:50. > :04:54.what you can control and no other result will matter if you don't deal

:04:55. > :04:58.with your own game. Both teams will be completely focused on their own

:04:59. > :05:03.game because they have big jobs to do themselves. Ospreys play at home

:05:04. > :05:10.and Scarlets are away to Munster and a trip that has been made more

:05:11. > :05:16.difficult by certain players. Yes, two top players. Munster on the side

:05:17. > :05:22.they used to be. It is a winnable match for them. It's difficult to

:05:23. > :05:29.assess the season of the Scarlets as they were brilliant at 23 weeks ago

:05:30. > :05:33.when they were the top. You could maybe think they could win the whole

:05:34. > :05:39.thing but they have hit the skids a bit. It's a partial success to get

:05:40. > :05:43.Champions Cup rugby but if they don't get in the top four I think

:05:44. > :05:46.you'll be disappointed if you're a supporter because you want to play

:05:47. > :05:50.in semifinals and finals and they were in a position to do that.

:05:51. > :05:54.Fingers crossed they can pull it off. They have secured a position in

:05:55. > :05:59.the Champions Cup but they are the only Welsh side who can now go for a

:06:00. > :06:06.semifinal. Let's hear from their coach. We need one point more than

:06:07. > :06:11.Ulster so what's the approach? It is a finals type scenario and we will

:06:12. > :06:16.approach it like that. We are going out there to win the game first and

:06:17. > :06:20.foremost. We haven't talked about tries but about getting the job done

:06:21. > :06:25.and the other game will take care of itself. Is it going at all guns

:06:26. > :06:31.blazing? We've had a couple of trips over and a good run out against

:06:32. > :06:37.Leinster and Ulster away from home. We would like to have that sort of

:06:38. > :06:40.performance today and that everyone commits themselves. An awful lot

:06:41. > :06:44.riding on that but nothing of substance riding on the Blues game

:06:45. > :06:49.for the Blues. But you can bet Danny Wilson will be desperate to finish

:06:50. > :06:55.his first season in charge with a victory. Let's go there now.

:06:56. > :07:05.Good afternoon. We have former Cardiff Blues scrum-half with me.

:07:06. > :07:09.Jason Kathy, you played with him at the Dragons, they love him already.

:07:10. > :07:16.Why is he playing so well? I've watched his last three games. They

:07:17. > :07:23.have been playing well Edinburgh in the last couple of weeks. They have

:07:24. > :07:26.time on the ball and he picks himself back at the pocket. He is

:07:27. > :07:33.doing well. Hopefully he will have another match today, a good one.

:07:34. > :07:40.From his personal performance over the last couple of games, I am sure

:07:41. > :07:44.there will be offers their butters up to him. Nothing on it for the

:07:45. > :07:48.Blues so will they get an entertainments licence from Danny

:07:49. > :07:53.Wilson? Edinburgh to score of four tries and the Blues haven't got a

:07:54. > :07:56.lot to play for so I am sure we will see an entertaining game and

:07:57. > :08:05.hopefully some tries. You get yourself up to commentary. Always a

:08:06. > :08:08.good egg to have on. He will be on commentary with Kenneth Davis. Thank

:08:09. > :08:19.you. Let us look at the team. Three changes to the side that lost

:08:20. > :08:23.to the Ospreys on Judgment Day. Sam Warburton hasn't recovered from his

:08:24. > :08:30.shoulder in just -- injury. Camp Dolan comes into the second row

:08:31. > :08:35.behind the scrum. Lloyd Williams at scrum-half and Tom James on the

:08:36. > :08:41.wing. He makes his first start in a blue shirt big -- things becoming a

:08:42. > :08:46.father last weekend. Congratulations to him. Interesting one for the

:08:47. > :08:49.Blues. It is like end of season report time. They have been

:08:50. > :08:53.fantastic in attack and only Glasgow have scored more than them in the

:08:54. > :08:57.league which is remarkable when you see where they are in the table.

:08:58. > :09:04.What do they need to do to be contenders? They are better players

:09:05. > :09:08.culturally. The players seem to know a lot more about what they do and

:09:09. > :09:12.where they are heading. Their home form has been really good and their

:09:13. > :09:19.set piece and the kicking game has improved. But they've conceded

:09:20. > :09:23.points as well. The against column is too high. Sometimes they are

:09:24. > :09:30.softer on the fringes perhaps. Insect pieces, the line-up is

:09:31. > :09:36.improving. Players know where they need to be. They've generated quick

:09:37. > :09:42.ball at times. A simple two phase play where Matthew Rees is involved.

:09:43. > :09:50.They have created chances and scored tries. But soft around the fringes,

:09:51. > :09:55.as the Ospreys showed. Carrying it too close to the line to get this

:09:56. > :10:01.many yards. The fold wasn't great and even though they get into

:10:02. > :10:06.position, that shouldn't have been a score from there. They have a soft

:10:07. > :10:10.underbelly. We shall find out whether they will finish their

:10:11. > :10:16.season with a flourish. Stay tuned for all the action across all six

:10:17. > :10:20.games today and we crown -- can I cross to Murrayfield and the

:10:21. > :10:26.commentary box. Richie Rees is alongside Kenneth Davis.

:10:27. > :10:32.Good afternoon from a chilly Murrayfield where the Blues will be

:10:33. > :10:37.hoping to hit back after going down on Judgment Day against the Ospreys

:10:38. > :10:42.and end the season of a high. It's been a mixed bag. Plenty of

:10:43. > :10:46.encouraging signs throughout and in Ohio -- helm of Danny Wilson.

:10:47. > :10:51.Edinburgh have a mathematical chance of securing the cup next season but

:10:52. > :10:59.they need to gain maximum points here and it depends on results

:11:00. > :11:03.elsewhere. Hopefully, that and the fact the Blues should have the

:11:04. > :11:09.shackles off, should be conducive for a good opening game. John Lacey

:11:10. > :11:13.is the referee this afternoon. A busy afternoon on the final weekend

:11:14. > :11:20.proper and we will keep an eye on events in Limerick and at the

:11:21. > :11:28.liberty stadium with plenty at stake for the Scarlets and the Ospreys. A

:11:29. > :11:36.fitting climax after 21 rounds. It boils down to this final weekend as

:11:37. > :11:43.Gareth Anscombe kicks ass off here this weekend. As we were hearing

:11:44. > :11:50.pitch side, both will have a licence to go from the off.

:11:51. > :11:57.The wind Elio Ron may play a part. Slightly tricky coming across the

:11:58. > :12:15.Murrayfield pitch. -- earlier on. Williams is back after missing out

:12:16. > :12:25.on Judgment Day. That went forward and a chance to say good afternoon.

:12:26. > :12:30.Good afternoon. A good opening game and Edinburgh need to go for maximum

:12:31. > :12:35.points. The Blues are trying to end on a high. Exactly. Edinburgh had to

:12:36. > :12:39.score four tries to gain if they want to push on in the championship

:12:40. > :12:47.places and the Blues have got nothing to lose. They may as well

:12:48. > :12:54.play and have an opportunity to shine. Hopefully they can. Williams

:12:55. > :12:58.is back and also Tom James. He became a father on the morning of

:12:59. > :13:05.Judgment Day which prevented him from playing in the afternoon. He

:13:06. > :13:16.hasn't had too many sleeps recently. Not at all.

:13:17. > :13:27.Edinburgh take it on from the free kick. That is Damian Hoyland. Ten

:13:28. > :13:29.international capped players in the Edinburgh ranks and plenty of

:13:30. > :13:37.experience as they go left. That went forward as Fish tries to

:13:38. > :14:01.make it through to the open spaces. A chance for the Blues to counter.

:14:02. > :14:08.Every game this season, ever present in the Blues back line. Dan is an

:14:09. > :14:13.exciting runner as well. He gets a bit of pace and his top end speed is

:14:14. > :14:17.fantastic. He's been a top performer for them this season and scored in

:14:18. > :14:23.the corresponding feature in January which the Blues won 10-3. Good work

:14:24. > :14:43.at that breakdown. A chance to pin Edinburgh back into

:14:44. > :14:54.their own 22. It was a theme against the Scarletif s you weeks ago when

:14:55. > :15:00.they had the memorable win. -- Scarlets, if you weeks ago.

:15:01. > :15:06.They've had a bit of success so far this season with the driving

:15:07. > :15:08.line-out and scoring from them. They have a lot of options off the back

:15:09. > :15:22.of that. Ellis Jenkins is in at nine. That

:15:23. > :15:33.has gone awry from Matthew Rees. The early chance goes begging for the

:15:34. > :15:38.moment. Edinburgh keep it at close quarters.

:15:39. > :15:47.Sean Kennedy is trying to release the pressure and a chance to counter

:15:48. > :15:55.for the Blues. Fish, but it wasn't one of his better ones. Although it

:15:56. > :16:00.found touching the end. They do a lot of exit plays out of their own

:16:01. > :16:05.22. Is it a bit of pressure on Sean 's Kennedy Bear. Hopefully he either

:16:06. > :16:12.puts his kick straight up in the air or it's going straight out. A bit

:16:13. > :16:24.more time on the ball. They changed by the way. Stuart McInally.

:16:25. > :16:29.It's Bresler who found a gap at the front of the line. A chance for

:16:30. > :16:44.Edinburgh to get behind the Blues defensive line. Taken on their by

:16:45. > :16:49.the International. And that was Willem Nel. The Blues have

:16:50. > :16:56.regrouped. They were caught napping momentarily there. And they have the

:16:57. > :16:59.big ball carriers of Edinburgh and they are battering the Blues line at

:17:00. > :17:06.the moment, getting yards after yards. That will allow the runners

:17:07. > :17:10.to be picked and put them in their holes. McInally takes it on and the

:17:11. > :17:21.Blues have slowed things down. One of the ball carriers Richard

:17:22. > :17:29.Rees was talking about. And McInally proving very effective. There's a

:17:30. > :17:37.chance on the 22 metre line. With things through and caught with an

:17:38. > :17:44.ankle touch. We'll try come? James with a desperate tackle. I think it

:17:45. > :17:53.has left him injured as well. Great last ditch tackle by Tom Jones.

:17:54. > :17:57.There was an advantage but Edinburgh looking very threatening there. Yes,

:17:58. > :18:08.they just used their big ball carrying skills to get there. Tovey

:18:09. > :18:14.with eight weight pass. If you watch the work of Tovey, he got off the

:18:15. > :18:21.floor and was the first receiver. An excellent Apple -- tackle by Tom

:18:22. > :18:27.James to put Hoyland into touch just buy the corner flag. Jason Tovey

:18:28. > :18:34.seems to be enjoying his rugby since his move to Edinburgh. It sues his

:18:35. > :18:40.style, this team, and they use a lot of runners inside and outside ten

:18:41. > :18:47.and it sues his game very well. It has probably shown in the quality of

:18:48. > :18:53.his performance in recent weeks. A few players on either side receiving

:18:54. > :19:00.treatment. It all came from the line-out right on the Edinburgh 22.

:19:01. > :19:05.Yes, a quick line-out and it was Cornell du Preez who went in the

:19:06. > :19:10.middle of the line-out. He got 30 or 40 metres up and McInally in

:19:11. > :19:14.support. Then the Blues defence are always chasing the attack. That is

:19:15. > :19:22.why the Edinburgh forwards made yards after yards.

:19:23. > :19:29.The experience trio on the front line there. A good scrum from

:19:30. > :19:45.Edinburgh. Released for Leto and Lloyd to

:19:46. > :19:52.Williams does the rest. A good exit from their own 22.

:19:53. > :20:00.A decent kick from Lloyd to release the pressure. The Blues have too hot

:20:01. > :20:07.a bit of the momentum that Edinburgh are picking up. Williams will target

:20:08. > :20:12.a spot for New Zealand. The squad is announced mid week and will probably

:20:13. > :20:20.be one of the three they'll take. We swear and Gary Davids as well. I'm

:20:21. > :20:27.sure he's happy to be back fit. Hamish Watson takes it on.

:20:28. > :20:39.The forwards on the fringes taking responsibility. Hoyland comes from

:20:40. > :20:52.the far side. They were just caught napping on that far side, the Blues.

:20:53. > :21:08.Toby has come back on a late return ball, and has put Damien Hoyland in

:21:09. > :21:12.the fray. What a great turnover. Hoyland has had a bright start for

:21:13. > :21:19.Edinburgh. Eight tries this year, the top try

:21:20. > :21:30.scorer for Edinburgh, up in the top five this season. A real find,

:21:31. > :21:34.recently signed a new contract. You can see the work of Ellis

:21:35. > :21:41.Jenkins, crucial to the Blues this season.

:21:42. > :21:52.Hoping to receive a call midweek. Williams scampering over the ten

:21:53. > :22:00.metre line, unfortunately couldn't find a Blues player on the far side.

:22:01. > :22:08.Tom James cutback. Williams looking sharp.

:22:09. > :22:15.Just outside Toolis. I think Damien Hoyland lucky to get away with that,

:22:16. > :22:21.he went at it with one hand. Now the Cardiff Blues ball. A good

:22:22. > :22:48.break from Lloyd, nice to see him in form.

:22:49. > :23:01.They have to regroup after losing territory.

:23:02. > :23:06.The Edinburgh defence is very strong and structured.

:23:07. > :23:15.Good off-loading. It is slowly recycled. Edinburgh

:23:16. > :23:29.competing well in the tackle area. They are looking threatening when

:23:30. > :23:34.they hold on to the ball, Cardiff Blues, the players have the ability

:23:35. > :23:39.to off-load. Big, physical guys, they can get through that contact.

:23:40. > :23:47.As long as they can get continuity and possession, I am sure tries will

:23:48. > :23:50.come. Is that the influence of Danny

:23:51. > :23:59.Wilson? Yes. The boys having a bit of belief

:24:00. > :24:10.as well. Edinburgh, unfortunately, giving them the ball.

:24:11. > :24:20.Nearly 12 minutes gone. Edinburgh targeting space on that far side,

:24:21. > :24:31.Hoyland has been busy. Inching forward. No clear-cut chances so

:24:32. > :24:36.far. Edinburgh getting into midfield.

:24:37. > :24:44.They know the Cardiff Blues operate with line speed.

:24:45. > :24:53.As soon as you get midfield, you are opening channels on either side and

:24:54. > :24:55.have to revert to a drift defence and it is killing the Cardiff Blues

:24:56. > :25:20.defence. Dan Biggar has scored and converted

:25:21. > :25:21.his own try at the Liberty Stadium, leading Ulster 7-0. Keeping an eye

:25:22. > :25:40.on that game as well as in Limerick. Dan Fish, you can see the place on

:25:41. > :25:49.him, eating the ground up behind Doogie Fife. Interesting starter.

:25:50. > :26:00.Gareth and saw the space with Damien Hoyland coming across from the far

:26:01. > :26:11.wing. Good coverage. Good vision by Gareth Anscombe.

:26:12. > :26:17.An elementary mistake from Josh Navidi. He doesn't make too many

:26:18. > :26:30.mistakes, Josh, known for his ball carrying. A little bit of confusion

:26:31. > :26:36.between Josh Navidi and Tom James. 7-0, the Ospreys lead at home to

:26:37. > :26:40.Ulster. The boys in studio are trying to sum

:26:41. > :26:47.up all the permutations involved during the afternoon.

:26:48. > :26:53.Ospreys need four points more than Munster, to secure Champions Cup

:26:54. > :27:06.qualification. The Scarlets, one more than Ulster, to get that

:27:07. > :27:12.all-important place in the top four. Good work from the Edinburgh eight,

:27:13. > :27:18.Blues under pressure. Let us take a break from proceedings here. Sean,

:27:19. > :27:22.what about that try at the Liberty Stadium?

:27:23. > :27:28.First blood to the Ospreys. James King, man of The Match against the

:27:29. > :27:40.Blues. A surging run to the line. Dan Biggar for a conversion.

:27:41. > :27:41.Sean will be keeping an eye on everything, a busy afternoon for

:27:42. > :28:01.Sean. Ben Toolis, Scottish qualified. The

:28:02. > :28:08.referee trying desperately to keep it on the field.

:28:09. > :28:25.Driven on, on the fringes, by the Big Ben upfront. -- The big players.

:28:26. > :28:34.A lovely off-load. First blood to Edinburgh at Murrayfield.

:28:35. > :28:48.Again, another return the play. Du Preez must have spotted it.

:28:49. > :28:53.The second highest loader in the Pro12 this year, a prime example why

:28:54. > :29:00.he is so important to this Edinburgh side. The try has been coming, well

:29:01. > :29:05.worked. Well done, Edinburgh. They have been

:29:06. > :29:13.knocking on the door. Watson, the recipient on the end of

:29:14. > :29:22.Cornell to these. Jason Tovey hangs one up. A whisker

:29:23. > :29:30.away from converting that try. Edinburgh will be happy. Two

:29:31. > :29:38.forwards against two backs. A good spot.

:29:39. > :30:12.They have to be careful, Cardiff Blues, they have had very little

:30:13. > :30:15.territory, they haven't been in the final third of the Edinburgh field.

:30:16. > :30:21.Penalty after penalty and turnover after turnover. John Lacey is

:30:22. > :30:31.getting annoyed. A second word with Lloyd Williams.

:30:32. > :30:37.A good touch finder by Jason Tovey. Puts them right where they want to

:30:38. > :30:41.be in opposition territory in the 22. No doubt we will see another

:30:42. > :30:50.driving line-out. It worked last time and the result

:30:51. > :31:07.was a trifle Hamish Watson. -- Try for Hamish.

:31:08. > :31:16.They have given away a penalty, Jenkins coming around, side entry.

:31:17. > :31:22.It did go forward, no advantage, they will have to go back.

:31:23. > :31:32.Threatening to take it quickly through Manu. Du Preez thunders on.

:31:33. > :31:39.Toolis has been everywhere for Edinburgh. He has been good.

:31:40. > :31:43.Hoyland, dangerous with his footwork.

:31:44. > :31:50.The gap has appeared. It is an easy doubt down for the Scottish

:31:51. > :32:00.international, Matt Scott. -- touch down. After Hamish Watson's tried,

:32:01. > :32:03.they have another one in quick succession.

:32:04. > :32:10.Just a little slow to react, Cardiff Blues. The ball was the other side

:32:11. > :32:13.of the field. He took a quick tap. He went through a couple of phases.

:32:14. > :32:27.Good work from Damien Hoyland. Matt Scott pulse spotted -- spotted

:32:28. > :32:32.it. From four metres come he is over the try line.

:32:33. > :32:45.It is all going Edinburgh's way as we enter the second quarter.

:32:46. > :32:54.Matt Scott, one of five players that will be leaving after this game.

:32:55. > :33:01.He is off to Gloucester, a good signing. I am surprised the SRU in

:33:02. > :33:07.Scottish rugby allowed him to leave. He is young, loads of potential, a

:33:08. > :33:09.lot of time in the Scottish National set up. I am surprised the SRU

:33:10. > :33:44.didn't do more to keep hold of him. Edinburgh transgress and a chance to

:33:45. > :33:56.get down to the 22. John Lacey, slowing the ball down.

:33:57. > :34:09.It has given Cardiff Blues and opportunity.

:34:10. > :34:16.Let us go over to Sean Holley. There has been a reply at the

:34:17. > :34:22.Liberty Stadium, the Ulstermen have struck back. A very soft try. Over

:34:23. > :34:42.on the short side. Disappointment, then, for the

:34:43. > :34:46.Ospreys. It will be very close. Ulster have their eyes on a greater

:34:47. > :34:51.prize as they go for those play-off spots.

:34:52. > :35:06.Good turnover. A good steel on the floor.

:35:07. > :35:11.A chance for them to counter. Wide open spaces behind Dan Fish.

:35:12. > :35:21.Great kit. Tovey throwing things beautifully. -- Kick.

:35:22. > :35:31.He is pulling the strings for Edinburgh well, helped by the big

:35:32. > :35:35.pack and Manu and Watson. Jason Tovey is playing well, pulling the

:35:36. > :35:52.strings. You can't ask much more from him.

:35:53. > :35:59.A strong run by the Samoan international.

:36:00. > :36:11.Much better from Cardiff Blues, they just need to retain possession.

:36:12. > :36:42.Not a great first 20 minutes from the Dragons would always be a tough

:36:43. > :36:48.task against Zebre, they have the Italian contingent in, their final

:36:49. > :36:53.game, they are looking to get ahead of Treviso in the league. You would

:36:54. > :37:20.I do think they can get back in the game. Plenty of time to go.

:37:21. > :37:31.Good acquisition he has been in the Edinburgh team, Du Preez. They have

:37:32. > :37:48.built their side, their game plan around.

:37:49. > :38:05.That defensive line from Edinburgh has been impressive.

:38:06. > :38:18.And they are physical with it. So hard to break down. You have to

:38:19. > :38:25.get your dangerous runners into first receiver to mix it up.

:38:26. > :38:31.Edinburgh don't gather Clinique. But a chance to counter. It could work.

:38:32. > :38:50.A tough one. -- cleanly. That could have been a danger for

:38:51. > :38:58.the Cardiff Blues. Cardiff Blues need to bring a bit of invention.

:38:59. > :39:11.No one wanted to pick it up on the first instance.

:39:12. > :39:17.It was a tight call, you would like to think the last game of the

:39:18. > :39:23.season, are you wouldn't let that go. John Lacey has the whistle out.

:39:24. > :39:36.Receiving treatment. Anscombe has been prominent for the

:39:37. > :39:42.Blues, especially the last month. Think of the victory against

:39:43. > :39:47.Scarlets is where he orchestrated things beautifully. Probably his

:39:48. > :39:50.best game in the Cardiff Blues shirt in his career. I'm sure he will be

:39:51. > :39:53.looking to continue that form and take it on to New Zealand or next

:39:54. > :40:27.season. Again, a slow ball, Edinburgh making

:40:28. > :40:32.life very difficult. The Blues having to work off scraps so far.

:40:33. > :40:54.The ball slowed up, this time, illegally. There is a wind out

:40:55. > :41:05.there. Will they go for the corner? Having

:41:06. > :41:11.a quick chat. It looks like it will go for the corner again, and rely on

:41:12. > :41:13.that driving line which has been successful for Cardiff Blues this

:41:14. > :41:23.season. Going back to the Edinburgh defence,

:41:24. > :41:29.they are making the Cardiff Blues slowdown by dominating. Limiting the

:41:30. > :41:34.quick ball. Hopefully they can claim that area

:41:35. > :41:41.up or put a few more numbers into the contact.

:41:42. > :42:05.Good, effective work from the Blues eight.

:42:06. > :42:11.Williams having to do some more work.

:42:12. > :42:19.Trying to get some numbers back on their feet for the car in the Blues,

:42:20. > :42:21.the Edinburgh defence have one on the ground and the rest waiting for

:42:22. > :42:35.the forward carriers. The Edinburgh try-lines in the

:42:36. > :42:53.distance. If they can keep their composure

:42:54. > :42:57.here... The forwards in the middle.

:42:58. > :43:09.Desperately need something. So much possession. They haven't

:43:10. > :43:25.gained anything from it so far. Rey Lee-Lo with a superb finish,

:43:26. > :43:30.gets the Blues's first try, that hard work in the end paying

:43:31. > :43:44.dividends. A good time to score, ten minutes before the interval.

:43:45. > :43:52.The first time we have seen a couple of weak tackles from Edinburgh.

:43:53. > :43:59.Lovely footwork from Rey Lee-Lo. Strong upper body. Over the try line

:44:00. > :44:01.for the Cardiff Blues. Still ten minutes before half-time.

:44:02. > :44:13.Exactly what they needed. They did. Anscombe will be trying to cut the

:44:14. > :44:24.deficit further. Lee-Lo proving to be a good addition

:44:25. > :44:53.to the Cardiff Blues squad. Hands in the air, and successful.

:44:54. > :44:57.The Blues kick back with less than ten before half-time. Let us head

:44:58. > :45:06.back to Cardiff with Sean Holley. There is drama.

:45:07. > :45:12.The centre going from a breakaway, his own 22, putting Munster in the

:45:13. > :45:21.lead. Since then, a kick, but the score

:45:22. > :45:25.has been taken to Munster 14, Scarlets is, six.

:45:26. > :45:33.Things are not looking good at the moment, then, for either side. It

:45:34. > :45:39.was going to be a difficult ask. This final weekend proper. I am sure

:45:40. > :45:42.these Scarlets fans will look back at that game against the Blues a

:45:43. > :45:46.month ago when they went down at home.

:45:47. > :45:50.A great off-load, tried to get it out to Aled Summerhill. Looking for

:45:51. > :46:01.that off-load. They have made 50 metres. It is

:46:02. > :46:08.unfortunate for Cardiff Blues. Lee-Lo, the standout performance,

:46:09. > :46:16.his work, his ability to get beyond contact, and off-load, securing

:46:17. > :46:21.possession, it is a tough call. That is what he is paid big bucks to do.

:46:22. > :46:42.Played for Samoa in the World Cup, Rey Lee-Lo.

:46:43. > :46:51.Not giving cheap penalties away. And successfully gaining a penalty.

:46:52. > :46:59.Great opportunity here as well as the first half draws to an end. Six

:47:00. > :47:07.minutes to go. A puzzled face from Hamish Watson. I think John Lacey,

:47:08. > :47:13.for holding on. A cracking opportunity for Cardiff Blues to

:47:14. > :47:18.exploit the driving line. They had a bit of success before their last

:47:19. > :47:27.try, creating opportunity. Hoping for more of the same. A few

:47:28. > :47:34.colourful spectators. Out in force for this one this afternoon.

:47:35. > :47:44.A great opportunity. Blues scored from this position last time.

:47:45. > :47:46.Unfortunately, this time, lack of communication between Turnbull and

:47:47. > :48:10.Rees. They need another score. Strength and power. Almost goes

:48:11. > :48:19.through a second tackler. Williams scampering away on the fringes,

:48:20. > :48:23.keeping the Edinburgh trio busy. They are a little bit national,

:48:24. > :48:34.Cardiff Blues. They need to get it forward. As with Tom James.

:48:35. > :48:58.A great time to score this would be, for the Blues, taking advantage of

:48:59. > :49:00.possession. After a sticky opening quarter.

:49:01. > :49:05.They are still quite flat, they will need to use some runners to hit up

:49:06. > :49:28.to try and tie some defenders in. A bit slow from that tackle area.

:49:29. > :49:36.Plenty of possession. Not quite doing anything with it. Stuck on

:49:37. > :49:41.that gain line. Going from one end of the field to the other. They are

:49:42. > :49:46.a little bit/ role. Whether they vary their attack.

:49:47. > :49:51.A chance for Edinburgh to counter on the far side.

:49:52. > :49:58.Add to the danger man Hoyland, back to Watson looking for support.

:49:59. > :50:06.Edinburgh looking dangerous right at the end of this first half, before

:50:07. > :50:13.it went forward. You would have been hoping for better.

:50:14. > :50:19.Lovely Hanson by Bresler to put Hoyland in space.

:50:20. > :50:23.Dan Fish did well. A nice little off-load to Hamish Watson from

:50:24. > :50:39.Hoyland, managed to hold on. Unfortunately, just knocked down.

:50:40. > :50:46.Lovely, a good collision from both openers asides. Unfortunately from

:50:47. > :50:55.-- and fortunately for Edinburgh, the turnover came. Edinburgh will be

:50:56. > :51:02.hoping for a nudge here. To put pressure on the Blues eight.

:51:03. > :51:11.They are known for their strength in the scrum. It is one of their major

:51:12. > :51:15.strengths, the set piece and that is what they build their game plan

:51:16. > :51:19.around. I'm sure they will have looked at the Cardiff Blues scrum

:51:20. > :51:24.and thought they could have got the one up. On the other side of the

:51:25. > :51:30.coin, the Blues front row doesn't come much bigger. Six of one and

:51:31. > :51:36.half a dozen of the other. Plenty of experience there. Desperate not to

:51:37. > :51:49.give anything away in this final two minutes.

:51:50. > :52:00.Good defence from Tovey and they've forced the turnover. Again they win

:52:01. > :52:11.back possession. This could be awkward for the Blues. It is Tom

:52:12. > :52:15.Brown who has the touchdown. John Lacey is waiting to receive

:52:16. > :52:23.confirmation. It will go upstairs. It is Tom Brown who receives con, --

:52:24. > :52:34.congratulations. Tom Brown was there. Just a little awkward gap

:52:35. > :52:45.through. Brown could have scored -- an awkward gap.

:52:46. > :53:00.They just want to see if there was any impeding. This will result in

:53:01. > :53:05.another try. A third for Edinburgh and it is Tom Brown who gets the

:53:06. > :53:14.crucial score. That comes a minute and a half before the turn. That

:53:15. > :53:18.will be a huge psychological boost for Edinburgh and a damaging one for

:53:19. > :53:25.the Blues. It's come from the good work and defence from Turkey and

:53:26. > :53:33.Bresler in midfield. They disrupted the starter from the Cardiff Blues.

:53:34. > :53:37.They turned the ball over -- Tovey. As soon as you turn the ball over

:53:38. > :53:42.there will be holes and spaces and that is what they recognised.

:53:43. > :53:49.Unfortunately, Jason Tovey has hit the post for the second time today.

:53:50. > :53:54.Not going his way today but Tom Brown with a third try means

:53:55. > :54:01.Edinburgh are well on top at the end of the first half. A change of

:54:02. > :54:08.tactic resulting in the Tom Brown try.

:54:09. > :54:17.In the final minute then. Unfortunate for the Blues because

:54:18. > :54:22.they got themselves right back in it. Yes, they dragged themselves

:54:23. > :54:29.back in it with their work on the try line so they have got -- gone

:54:30. > :54:33.away in the last ten minutes and conceded that try. Hopefully in the

:54:34. > :54:44.second half they can go back to what they are good at. It has gone

:54:45. > :54:52.forward and that will be that for the first half. So the Blues will be

:54:53. > :54:59.very disappointed at having given that their try away to Tom Brown. It

:55:00. > :55:06.was right on the stroke of half-time. The Blues got themselves

:55:07. > :55:13.back into it with Rey Lee-Lo's try but they had it all to do. Half-time

:55:14. > :55:21.at Murrayfield and Edinburgh leave -- lead by 17-7.

:55:22. > :55:27.An exacting period so far. It is going the way of Edinburgh 's. Matt

:55:28. > :55:36.Scott had one of three tries for the home side.

:55:37. > :55:45.Elsewhere, the Munster Scots find themselves down 14-9 in their chase

:55:46. > :55:52.for the top four. The Ospreys had a great start at liberty stadium. It's

:55:53. > :56:00.14-14 as things stand with two tries back for Ulster.

:56:01. > :56:13.This is the big one. First against second in Galway. The defending

:56:14. > :56:22.champions are down. Leinster are finding things comfortable at the

:56:23. > :56:29.RDS. 17-0 there. Three tries in total and one from Johnny Sexton

:56:30. > :56:37.there. Right, at the halfway stage, let us see how things stand in the

:56:38. > :56:45.table. The top four there. Those are the results as they are at

:56:46. > :56:51.half-time. Star-macro is behind against Munster. The Ospreys are

:56:52. > :56:57.drawing against Ulster at the liberty stadium which means they are

:56:58. > :57:01.eighth. They will not be playing in the Champions Cup next year if

:57:02. > :57:08.things continue to go this way. Munster will have the final sixth

:57:09. > :57:15.spot. Edinburgh means they are in seventh place with their win over

:57:16. > :57:23.the Blues so far. There had them win over the Dragons means that zebra

:57:24. > :57:31.are 11th in the table. So they will be the Italian representatives at

:57:32. > :57:37.11th place in the Italian 's cup. Trimble has scored for all start but

:57:38. > :57:41.it's not quite half-time. It will take the score to 19-14 to Ulster

:57:42. > :57:47.with a conversion to come so that's the place to start. We thought the

:57:48. > :57:55.Ospreys would go into the sheds level. The worst possible time to

:57:56. > :58:00.concede a score. Yes. After a good sport with the try they bounced back

:58:01. > :58:06.with the try of their own. Ospreys won't go away either. I won't forget

:58:07. > :58:10.the coach of the Ospreys dropping a goal in the last minute to win the

:58:11. > :58:15.old Celtic win so very tough bunch and there's a long way to go in that

:58:16. > :58:21.one. You could have both tries coming away with bonuses which could

:58:22. > :58:26.complicate things. Yes we'll worry about that if it comes to it. So

:58:27. > :58:32.much can happen in the second half in the other games. It is what we

:58:33. > :58:39.thought. Chaos. Trying to keep track of everybody and what's going on!

:58:40. > :58:54.Apart from the Ciba result anything could happen. -- zebra.

:58:55. > :59:04.This was a match of two very good teams. It was a surprise last

:59:05. > :59:09.weekend that the scorer didn't start on Judgment Day. This was on

:59:10. > :59:16.half-time. Such a dangerous character. Yes. A

:59:17. > :59:21.real threat. He shows international quality here and in these tight

:59:22. > :59:25.games, little things carried for so much. Just before half-time the

:59:26. > :59:34.coaches changed their team just like that. Yes, there was nothing on

:59:35. > :59:41.there. But they will regroup and they will come back. Both the tries

:59:42. > :59:45.from the Ospreys were clinical close to the line and that's what they

:59:46. > :59:49.showed against the Blues last week. If they get into those positions

:59:50. > :59:58.with the kicking game they got there in with a good chat -- shout. 14-9

:59:59. > :00:04.to Munster but there is a penalty attempt being lined up so could be

:00:05. > :00:10.14-12 come half-time. And our featured game. I guess the major

:00:11. > :00:17.talking point is Edinburgh's sheer physicality. Yes, the Blues are slow

:00:18. > :00:26.to the blocks but Edinburgh are so physical. Two lists and du Preez.

:00:27. > :00:31.They dominated the Blues in the first few minutes but it was a

:00:32. > :00:36.killer blow before half-time to concede the try. A lovely first try

:00:37. > :00:41.for Edinburgh. We have talked about du Preez all season. A powerful

:00:42. > :00:47.carrier but he has soft hands as well and that was a delicate

:00:48. > :00:53.off-load. Edinburgh had been hammering away at the line. Tel

:00:54. > :00:59.James knows there is du Preez against Williams though he probably

:01:00. > :01:06.just checked his defensive line. He knows physically it's a mismatch. A

:01:07. > :01:09.great touch from Cornell du Preez. As Tom James turns his body in words

:01:10. > :01:23.is an easy finish. Whilst the Blues have been

:01:24. > :01:30.impressive in attack, the points in the against column are not looking

:01:31. > :01:34.pretty. It is a big pitch at Murrayfield. You can see how tight

:01:35. > :01:38.they are, the white shirts at the top of the screen. It creates too

:01:39. > :01:44.much width for the outside defenders. There you go again. I

:01:45. > :01:48.said at the top it is the fringes. If you are too tight around a rack

:01:49. > :01:55.you can bet your money that if it gets wind -- winder you will be

:01:56. > :01:59.found wanting -- wider. Too late for the second defenders coming in and

:02:00. > :02:06.that is a mismatch close to the line. The last stage for the blue it

:02:07. > :02:11.was looking ominous. River-macro has arguably in their Player of the

:02:12. > :02:25.Season. He has been the player since Christmas, I think -- Rey Lee-Lo.

:02:26. > :02:30.Every time he's touched the ball he's looked dangerous. He has

:02:31. > :02:35.natural footwork and is a great finisher in a tight area. I said the

:02:36. > :02:41.Blues would come back and they need an open, expansive game. In the

:02:42. > :02:47.tight physical areas... It's a concern. But he's been a stand-up

:02:48. > :02:49.player for me in the first half. I can tell you the Scarlets kicked the

:02:50. > :03:03.penalty. It's the old smash and grab. When

:03:04. > :03:07.you go to Ireland you can't take it for granted you will win so you have

:03:08. > :03:14.to stay in touch. That's a good half-time score. All of a sudden,

:03:15. > :03:18.the pressure goes to the home team. It is on for the Scarlets so that

:03:19. > :03:23.will be a pleasing position for them. Plenty more drama to come on

:03:24. > :03:25.Super Saturday and we will analyse things on the hoof. Tomorrow it will

:03:26. > :03:34.be more considered. We will have your comprehensive

:03:35. > :03:39.review. Every try, every game and every moment. He's a Wales and

:03:40. > :03:47.regional centurion but this mystery man prefers to ignore -- avoid the

:03:48. > :03:55.public gaze. As the season comes to a climax, we will look back at the

:03:56. > :03:58.best bits. Make sure you tune in. We can go back to Murrayfield now and

:03:59. > :04:08.Phil Steele. Thank you. Quite a few Cardiff Blues

:04:09. > :04:16.fans around in and suggests. We've just been a fan dressed in the 70s

:04:17. > :04:26.kit. Talking of the tour watch them, what you think of Jenkins. It is in

:04:27. > :04:30.-- unfortunate Tom didn't play last weekend but as this has been

:04:31. > :04:38.outstanding all year. He's working the breakdowns. And the strength in

:04:39. > :04:45.depth Wales have got with Jenkins and Davies and Sam Warburton and

:04:46. > :04:51.Josh sews strength in depth. What have you made of Jason Tovey. He's

:04:52. > :04:56.been very good and is back in the pocket. He is challenging the gain

:04:57. > :05:01.line and is putting people in holds around him. That's all you really

:05:02. > :05:08.ask. The Blues need to score quick? You'd like to think so, yes.

:05:09. > :05:12.Back to you. Thank you, fail. And looking at the screen and it looks

:05:13. > :05:16.like Munster Scots are going on beyond the 40 minutes, but we can

:05:17. > :05:36.show you the second monster drive. A pair for the two centres and that

:05:37. > :05:45.took the score to 14-9 and as we know it is currently 14-12. That is

:05:46. > :05:48.the game there is most writing on. That is the game where the winner or

:05:49. > :05:55.loser will essentially lose everything. Like Sean says, for the

:05:56. > :06:00.Scarlets if they hang on in there. There's huge pressure. To be the

:06:01. > :06:09.first team not to qualify for a Champions Cup would be disastrous.

:06:10. > :06:13.There will be Demons in the side so conditions are different as well. It

:06:14. > :06:21.looks wet in Ireland. And the Glasgow game is the same. The

:06:22. > :06:25.Scarlets have done well. They are still in there so a lot can change

:06:26. > :06:29.in the second half. That mirrors your point at the top

:06:30. > :06:35.about this being so critical psychologically now because teams

:06:36. > :06:42.have had strategies all season but when the Demons coming things can go

:06:43. > :06:48.awry quickly. Yes and the coaches will play a part. The bench is

:06:49. > :06:52.important now and they comes an art to judge when the right time to

:06:53. > :07:00.bring a certain player off the bench. That will play a big part in

:07:01. > :07:04.the second half so it is a tricky time. They have the likes of Gareth

:07:05. > :07:11.Davies and we know what he can do in broken play. And more pace on the

:07:12. > :07:18.wing. They have some game changers. Definitely. They can score lots of

:07:19. > :07:25.tries, the Scarlets, and it comes to goal-kicking. That is huge. Like

:07:26. > :07:31.Sean says it will be a nervous half-time -- second half for both

:07:32. > :07:35.teams. They have picked a half experimental side. Experience to are

:07:36. > :07:44.there but Jones has given some youngsters an opportunity. It looks

:07:45. > :07:49.like it's not paying off because they are down now. They can't finish

:07:50. > :07:53.above or below where they are at the end of the day. It's an opportunity

:07:54. > :08:00.to play youngsters and give opportunity of a trip away. They are

:08:01. > :08:06.not going well in Italy. That's a long way from dead yet. They can

:08:07. > :08:12.score some of their own tries in the second half but it has been a

:08:13. > :08:17.disappointing season. And the Dragons haven't functioned in the

:08:18. > :08:20.Celtic League. I suppose Zebre are so desperate to get into the

:08:21. > :08:31.Champions Cup they know they have to win that game to do that. Yes. Going

:08:32. > :08:35.to Zebre and there's a lot on it. The crowd will get behind Zebre and

:08:36. > :08:40.it's an emotional team. It's a difficult period for the Dragons.

:08:41. > :08:46.Draw a line under the season and hopefully things change next year.

:08:47. > :08:51.It's disappointing we've got a team that, in fairness, hasn't brought a

:08:52. > :08:56.lot to the competition. Sean, last week we spoke about Judgment Day and

:08:57. > :09:00.the Blues surrendered a ten point lead. You said the Ospreys culture

:09:01. > :09:06.is still intact and they never know when they're beaten. Do you still

:09:07. > :09:11.fancy them to come back? Yes, but it's similar in Ulster. When you

:09:12. > :09:21.play their it's similar. But a lot of credit has to go to the like of

:09:22. > :09:28.the Joneses and the people before. And Steve Tandy will carry that

:09:29. > :09:32.through also. The youngsters have among -- immersed themselves in that

:09:33. > :09:36.so I would still put my money on them will stop our feature game is

:09:37. > :09:40.about to kick off again so we can return to Murrayfield for the second

:09:41. > :09:41.half of Edinburgh against the Cardiff Blues and our commentary

:09:42. > :09:50.team. Welcome back to Murrayfield and a

:09:51. > :09:58.lot to do for the Scarlets in Limerick. The situation is similar

:09:59. > :10:01.for the Blues where Edinburgh have eight handy and comfortable ten

:10:02. > :10:06.point cushion. We hope this game breaks down in the second half

:10:07. > :10:17.because they have been second best in the close encounters, the Blues.

:10:18. > :10:24.The Edinburgh defence is so prominent and very physical in the

:10:25. > :10:28.first half. That was forward. Edinburgh have started with a bit of

:10:29. > :10:36.tempo and Lloyd Williams with the kick. A nice take by Cornell du

:10:37. > :10:45.Preez and they managed to get the off-load away. Unfortunately, format

:10:46. > :10:49.Scotty got pushed into is touch. The Cardiff Blues, you've just got to

:10:50. > :10:56.hold onto the ball, play a bit more rugby rather than looking to use

:10:57. > :11:01.your foot and go through the phases and get a few more defenders in and

:11:02. > :11:09.allowed them to go over the gain line. That is where they gained

:11:10. > :11:28.modest -- success in the first half. That was when Rey Lee-Lo went over.

:11:29. > :11:34.Fish trying to put pressure on his opposite number, Dougie Fife. There

:11:35. > :11:46.is an injury, I think. John Lacy taking action

:11:47. > :11:58.straightaway. I think it's Tom James. Maybe a whack on the head.

:11:59. > :12:08.Here's the incident. Dougie Fife was pushed back into the corner. Just an

:12:09. > :12:18.elbow to the jaw, it looks like. He stayed down. He is no shrinking

:12:19. > :12:21.violet, is Tom, so for him to stay down it must be pretty bad.

:12:22. > :12:36.Hopefully it's not too serious though. Just a stretcher on and...

:12:37. > :12:45.Evans warming up now. Because of Tom James's misfortune, the outside-half

:12:46. > :12:51.last year in the Junior World Cup and he didn't feature much this

:12:52. > :12:57.season because of the Blues' commitments. He had a few games at

:12:58. > :13:03.the start of the season. Next year he can play ten and a bit of 12. A

:13:04. > :13:11.few runaround that 15 so there are plenty of opportunities there. First

:13:12. > :13:15.choice number ten, Gareth and scum. That is probably what the Blues have

:13:16. > :13:22.lacked in the last couple of years, strength in depth. Danny Watson

:13:23. > :13:33.looks to be bringing back for the Blues. That will help. It seems so

:13:34. > :13:38.innocuous initially, but he is setting up now and moving his head

:13:39. > :13:43.which is a good sign. I think he will be off and it looks like Evans

:13:44. > :13:46.is on the field. They will assess his head and take it from there.

:13:47. > :14:09.Slowly coming to himself, Tom James. He will have to go for the mandatory

:14:10. > :14:11.check now. It is so prevalent in the modern game now but so important. He

:14:12. > :14:16.looks all right though. Evans is in 12 and Rey Lee-Lo has

:14:17. > :14:28.gone 13. Some rejigging so Danny Wilson will

:14:29. > :14:42.be behind. The Blues need to score first hero

:14:43. > :14:47.to have any opportunity of getting back in. That scrum has been so

:14:48. > :14:52.dominant and no surprise that John Lacey's arms indicate a penalty.

:14:53. > :14:58.Everything for Edinburgh has been built around their tight five. That

:14:59. > :15:05.has brought them the ability to get the penalty and play big game plan

:15:06. > :15:12.they play and look to dominate teams physically. It looks as if the

:15:13. > :15:17.Ospreys' attempt to get to the top six is getting increasingly hard.

:15:18. > :15:20.Ulster have a ten point cushion now a way to the Ospreys. That isn't

:15:21. > :15:34.good news for the Scarlets either. Edinburgh setting up as if they will

:15:35. > :15:40.go to their driving line-out and there will probably be Sean Kennedy

:15:41. > :15:46.as well which they have had success with all season. Two listen

:15:47. > :15:55.initially the source of possession in the line and his brother is on

:15:56. > :16:03.the bench as well. Good from Turvey. -- Tovey.

:16:04. > :16:21.He just put the defender in the hole.

:16:22. > :16:29.Edinburgh have men here and half a chance.

:16:30. > :16:36.Edinburgh have a lot of their backs in that wide area. They need to

:16:37. > :16:43.allow the backs to regenerate and get back on their feet. Kennedy to

:16:44. > :16:55.Sutherland. A tie would give Edinburgh at least a bonus point.

:16:56. > :17:22.Half a chance here, but it hasn't been executed well at all by

:17:23. > :17:26.Edinburgh although it has gone forward. John Lacey plays advantage.

:17:27. > :17:33.A bit laboured here. Josh Turnbull is receiving treatment

:17:34. > :17:54.as well now. The Blues worked well in defence.

:17:55. > :18:04.They've won a penalty in the tackle area. Edinburgh piling and go off

:18:05. > :18:13.their feet. -- pile in. Here's the handiwork.

:18:14. > :18:24.Strauss, a couple of times today, important today. One small movement

:18:25. > :18:30.when the defender is on top of you and your playing close to the gain

:18:31. > :18:41.line... He's had lovely touches today has Strauss for Edinburgh.

:18:42. > :18:47.He's off as well. Let's get a quick update from Sean Holley. A crucial

:18:48. > :18:51.try at Dublin for Leinster. It's the bonus point try, the fourth try.

:18:52. > :18:57.Leinster approach close to the line and it's the loosehead prop who gets

:18:58. > :19:01.the crucial try. Presuming there is a a loser in the Glasgow game,

:19:02. > :19:06.Leinster will finish in the top two and get a home semifinal.

:19:07. > :19:14.Thank you. The Scarlets just missing out and Ulster will bag the fourth

:19:15. > :19:26.spot in the top four. What will Danny Wilson be thinking

:19:27. > :19:41.seven minutes into the second half. It hasn't been the best Blues

:19:42. > :19:45.performance but there is still plenty of time for them to get back

:19:46. > :19:52.into it and that's what they need. They need gain line and bring their

:19:53. > :19:58.dangerous runners back to give them opportunity to create quick ball.

:19:59. > :20:05.Fish provides that and the forwards drive on with a shout up the middle.

:20:06. > :20:08.Trying to tie defenders in, but you have to be physical and tackle the

:20:09. > :20:30.second and third defender. Slow for Williams and Jenkins take

:20:31. > :20:40.responsibility. Filise is isolated. He tries to get the off-load their

:20:41. > :20:45.and... Rey Lee-Lo looks dangerous every time he gets the ball. He was

:20:46. > :20:48.relatively quiet at the start of the season but he's got better with the

:20:49. > :20:54.amount of games he's played and especially in the last few weeks.

:20:55. > :21:00.He's been one of their on form players. He just needs to get the

:21:01. > :21:09.ball as much as possible. Lucky for Jason Tovey there. Strauss was

:21:10. > :21:18.covering the inside. He managed to drag Rey Lee-Lo into touch.

:21:19. > :21:27.Tom James is back on after the assessment.

:21:28. > :21:32.Three Edinburgh attracted trying to remove him. But he was so low and

:21:33. > :21:36.strong over the ball, that is what he is very good outcome he knows

:21:37. > :21:44.which break down to attack and which to leave alone.

:21:45. > :21:46.Hopefully that turnover has given Blues a chance to get straight back

:21:47. > :21:52.in. Let us see if that would work will

:21:53. > :21:57.inspire his side, Jenkins in the thick of things.

:21:58. > :22:00.Straight over the top, three Edinburgh forwards trying to clean

:22:01. > :22:06.him out, John Lacey has let them challenge for that ball. He has a

:22:07. > :22:12.penalty and hopefully the try for the Cardiff Blues.

:22:13. > :22:22.Dacey finding -- Dacey finding Josh Turnbull.

:22:23. > :22:24.The Blues forwards still going on, good work initially.

:22:25. > :22:37.The first drive. They must keep the ball on the field

:22:38. > :22:38.of play. It is there. Another chance goes begging,

:22:39. > :22:48.unfortunately. Not the best from Jason Tovey. Tom

:22:49. > :23:01.James had a chance to stretch out. Good line speed, just hitting the

:23:02. > :23:26.Blues way behind the gain line. Noticeably narrower in this second

:23:27. > :23:50.half, Cardiff Blues, looking for the short carry.

:23:51. > :23:52.Trying to orchestrate things, Jenkins, almost went pear shaped

:23:53. > :24:10.there. They have lost territory, the Blues

:24:11. > :24:17.stagnant with no momentum. The Blues attack is flat because the

:24:18. > :24:25.ball is so slow. They need to try to quicken it up a touch.

:24:26. > :24:35.A lot of work for the Blues forwards to do.

:24:36. > :24:53.His seven carries its he has been on the field, Dacey. -- seventh carry.

:24:54. > :25:00.Better from the Blues, good link up work.

:25:01. > :25:07.A chance behind the Edinburgh defensive line.

:25:08. > :25:12.A chance in the corner for Smith, has he done enough?

:25:13. > :25:17.Good defence from Matt Scott on Tom Brown. I don't thing he has grounded

:25:18. > :25:20.that ball. A scampering cover defence might

:25:21. > :25:27.have just done enough to deny the Cardiff Blues. That was better.

:25:28. > :25:41.Let us seek if Smith has squeezed in, in the corner.

:25:42. > :25:49.Tom Brown has done just enough. Fantastic work by Matt Scott. Just

:25:50. > :25:52.managed to not allow Smith to ground the ball.

:25:53. > :26:14.Tom Brown with the first tackle to stop the run.

:26:15. > :26:24.Still a chance for the Cardiff Blues. Smith denied. Because of the

:26:25. > :26:30.combination of Tom Brown and Matt Scott.

:26:31. > :26:36.They will probably want to try and get that ball in and away from that

:26:37. > :26:42.scrum. If they can send Rey Lee-Lo off the middle, to try and tie those

:26:43. > :26:53.Edinburgh players in. Seven apiece in Galway between

:26:54. > :26:56.Connacht and Glasgow. Both teams playing some pathetic

:26:57. > :27:02.rugby this season, especially over the last month.

:27:03. > :27:05.A battle now to gain home advantage. Again, the Edinburgh scrum had taken

:27:06. > :27:16.it. They have been brilliant throughout.

:27:17. > :27:22.Here they are again, doing what they know they are very good up, fronting

:27:23. > :27:28.up physically, getting it over the gain line, not allowing Cardiff

:27:29. > :27:32.Blues any decent ball. It could work for Edinburgh. It is

:27:33. > :27:54.messy, very scrappy. A great kick.

:27:55. > :27:57.Let us get a latest update from Sean Holley.

:27:58. > :28:05.As if we needed confirmation of Leinster, a fifth try.

:28:06. > :28:10.Watch the follow-on, on the inside. Brilliant for Leinster. An emphatic

:28:11. > :28:12.drive from the winner securing Leinster into the top two as it

:28:13. > :28:25.stands. Just the final spot which is unsure

:28:26. > :28:29.but it looks like Ulster. Looks like they will have done enough to get in

:28:30. > :28:33.that fourth position. A chip and chase, the bounce evades

:28:34. > :28:53.everyone. Dacey has been really affected since

:28:54. > :29:03.he has come on. Cardiff Blues need to hold on, go through a few phases

:29:04. > :29:08.and hopefully finish up with a try. Dacey gets the tap on the back from

:29:09. > :29:15.his team-mates. Plenty of possession for the Blues. And territory as well

:29:16. > :29:19.in the first 15 minutes. They need a score.

:29:20. > :29:23.They have to act now. A bit more willingness to play this half. The

:29:24. > :29:26.key players getting their hands on the ball a lot more but looking to

:29:27. > :29:33.manipulate the Edinburgh defence and kill that line speed.

:29:34. > :29:42.A few changes for Edinburgh. On comes Alex Toolis. Brother of Ben

:29:43. > :29:53.Toolis. John Andrade coming on.

:29:54. > :30:05.-- John Andress. They can ill afford to make those

:30:06. > :30:26.mistakes. Fish firing a long pass to Tom

:30:27. > :30:45.James. Through the first man. Asking for defenders on the far

:30:46. > :31:10.side. Blues spotting that. Lee Lowe is so slippery -- Lee-Lo.

:31:11. > :31:16.He has got his dancing shoes on today.

:31:17. > :31:24.The ball is built again, it has gone forward I think from an Edinburgh

:31:25. > :31:32.hand. The first knock-on, it will be a Blues scrum.

:31:33. > :31:39.Definitely an end of season feel. Let us go back to Sean.

:31:40. > :31:48.It is Glasgow the champions who get on level terms in a tight encounter.

:31:49. > :31:51.It means they will move into second, ironically, if it stays like this,

:31:52. > :31:59.Glasgow would play Connacht again in the semifinal.

:32:00. > :32:03.Very tight. Two very clinical, well coached

:32:04. > :32:08.teams, Glasgow and Connacht. The standout teams over the last couple

:32:09. > :32:20.of months in the Pro12, no doubt they should be in the top four.

:32:21. > :32:30.Chris Hendry, the latest try scorer in that one for Ulster. Connacht

:32:31. > :32:36.suddenly as well would have benefited at the start of the season

:32:37. > :32:42.during that World Cup period. In that period, the season can be

:32:43. > :32:50.defined, as the Ospreys found out. They also have star quality with

:32:51. > :32:57.players who have stood up to them this season. They are playing well

:32:58. > :33:07.week in, week out, that is all you can ask for.

:33:08. > :33:16.Dacey has been busy since coming on. No way through. That defensive line

:33:17. > :33:22.is very organised. So secure. They are finding it hard

:33:23. > :33:28.to break it down, the Cardiff Blues, so many numbers on their feet, and

:33:29. > :33:33.coming with the line speed. Every contact is being made behind the

:33:34. > :33:41.gain line. Making life difficult for Williams.

:33:42. > :33:58.We have seen his work offensively, and defensively there, Damien

:33:59. > :34:03.Hoyland. Worth a punt from Anscombe, nothing seemed to be working.

:34:04. > :34:07.They have to start being a little more inventive to break down this

:34:08. > :34:12.Edinburgh defensive line. At the moment they are not having much

:34:13. > :34:16.luck. The key is creating that quick ball. They have brought on a few

:34:17. > :34:23.fresh legs. They have been lively since. Hopefully the remaining 20

:34:24. > :34:39.minutes of the game, we can see a bit more of them.

:34:40. > :34:46.Let us go back to Sean Holley. For all my prophecy of an Ospreys

:34:47. > :34:51.comeback, Henry Iddon controversially diving through the

:34:52. > :34:56.ruck, the ball is in goal, it is playable. It went to a TMO, a fourth

:34:57. > :35:02.try for Ulster, they will qualify in the top four. Scholar will not be

:35:03. > :35:09.able to get into the top four as it stands.

:35:10. > :35:19.-- Scarlets. Disappointment for Scarlets and Ospreys fans, it all

:35:20. > :35:23.order. Looking at proceedings in the other

:35:24. > :35:32.games. Hidalgo-Clyne comes on.

:35:33. > :35:38.He burst onto the scene last season. Very good, very intelligent. He

:35:39. > :35:42.attacks the fringes, his consistency hasn't been there so far this season

:35:43. > :35:49.which is why Sean Kennedy has had the nod. The perfect player to bring

:35:50. > :35:51.on and break things up. A man of the match showing against

:35:52. > :36:18.Dragons last year in the semifinal. Sean, what is happening in Glasgow?

:36:19. > :36:27.Another twist at the top of the table, leading with the head, and

:36:28. > :36:34.they are down to 14 men in Glasgow. Thank you, that game out at the

:36:35. > :36:40.sports ground in Galway. Back here, no change from the

:36:41. > :36:44.scoreline at half-time. Into the final quarter. A scrappy

:36:45. > :36:49.start to the second half. Hopefully the Cardiff Blues can get back over

:36:50. > :36:54.this try-line. And up the tempo for the remaining

:36:55. > :37:08.19 minutes. This is better, more effective.

:37:09. > :37:18.There will be another penalty. I am sure John Lacey will be having a

:37:19. > :37:19.word with Edinburgh, we have had a few penalties in the last few

:37:20. > :37:36.minutes. Anscombe will go to the corner.

:37:37. > :37:47.Going for their 10th driving line of the game.

:37:48. > :37:58.Dragons losing out in Zebre. They are down by 40-10, in northern

:37:59. > :38:04.Italy. It must be a tough 60 minutes for

:38:05. > :38:06.the Dragons. They did make some changes as we mentioned earlier. You

:38:07. > :38:07.would have thought they could have come up with a more favourable

:38:08. > :38:33.result. It will be a try in the end. It is

:38:34. > :38:36.the American Cam Dolan who gets the all important touchdown. And the

:38:37. > :38:49.Blues are right back in this one. A scrappy one. Smith brought urgency

:38:50. > :38:52.to it. Anscombe tosses it back to Lee-Lo, managing the off-load. This

:38:53. > :38:58.is where the urgency comes in through the gain line.

:38:59. > :39:03.A lovely off-load from Jenkins, only the second time Cam Dolan has had

:39:04. > :39:09.the ball. He managed to get over the try line.

:39:10. > :39:13.That has turned the game on its head. They had been threatening,

:39:14. > :39:17.they have had a lot of possession with no reward before that tried by

:39:18. > :39:23.Cam Dolan. It will be interesting to see the

:39:24. > :39:26.territory stats. It has been all Cardiff Blues, everything in the

:39:27. > :39:35.Edinburgh half. A long time coming. Cardiff Blues got there in the end.

:39:36. > :39:37.Another two points. They are within three, all to play for, with 16

:39:38. > :40:32.minutes to go. Just need to keep the foot on the

:40:33. > :40:37.accelerator, the intensity, Blues. They need to come with a little bit

:40:38. > :40:44.of line speed and force a turnover, forced the error.

:40:45. > :40:55.They have slowed it up, it has gone forward. A chance to counter.

:40:56. > :41:24.When Lee-Lo is on the ball you sensed something will happen.

:41:25. > :41:33.This is what not to do from a turnover, five men on the outside.

:41:34. > :41:43.Carrying it straight into contact, slowed the game down. Given the

:41:44. > :41:44.opportunity for Cardiff Blues. Likely this game will get more loose

:41:45. > :41:54.as it goes on. A chance to stretch his legs, Fish

:41:55. > :42:01.on the inside ball. It hasn't gone forward. It is another one, Smith

:42:02. > :42:09.goes over. The Blues find themselves in front.

:42:10. > :42:13.For the first time. To be fair to Cardiff Blues they thoroughly

:42:14. > :42:18.deserved this in the second half, it has been all Cardiff Blues second

:42:19. > :42:22.half. Pressure after pressure on the Edinburgh defence, something had to

:42:23. > :42:27.give. A poor kick from Hidalgo-Clyne, Fish spotted it

:42:28. > :42:33.midfield. He went through the gap, 45 metres. A little bit of luck on

:42:34. > :42:40.the inside ball. Another easy try. Explosive burst

:42:41. > :42:44.from Dan Fish who was streaming through the Cardiff Blues. It could

:42:45. > :42:53.have been easier. However, Smith was on hand for an easy walk in. And

:42:54. > :42:58.now, these scoreline has changed the conception of the game totally.

:42:59. > :43:07.Thoroughly deserved, the second half has been all Cardiff Blues. Dan Fish

:43:08. > :43:11.did well, spotted it. He has gone straight at him, running on the

:43:12. > :43:21.outside, Dan Fish always likes to take that.

:43:22. > :43:26.A successful conversion. Anscombe slots over the conversion.

:43:27. > :43:32.Let us head back to Sean Holley. Disappointing news, out in Zebre, a

:43:33. > :43:41.Schreiber idea replacement hooker. Since then, the Italian outside-half

:43:42. > :43:46.has got another. 47-10 which means Zebre will qualify above Treviso for

:43:47. > :43:53.next year's Champions Cup. That is a drubbing and a half in

:43:54. > :43:59.northern Italy for Kingsley Jones's men.

:44:00. > :44:03.All Blues in the second half. They can't afford to give anything away,

:44:04. > :44:07.they need to keep concentrating in the final 12 minutes.

:44:08. > :44:13.They have come to life, and put pace on the ball. Their willingness to

:44:14. > :44:17.play has been rewarded. Hopefully we will see the same in the remaining

:44:18. > :44:22.12 minutes. Don't need to give any silly

:44:23. > :44:26.penalties away. Right on that halfway line.

:44:27. > :44:35.Exactly that. Hidalgo-Clyne digging for it. A slow

:44:36. > :44:37.ball for Edinburgh. Those Cardiff Blues fans have perked

:44:38. > :44:54.up in the second half. They won the corresponding fixture

:44:55. > :45:08.back if every 10-3. -- Back in February.

:45:09. > :45:19.No room on the far side. Ellis Jenkins again, good defensive work.

:45:20. > :45:31.Working hard here, the Blues. Good effort by the forwards.

:45:32. > :45:41.Bradbury spotted a gap. The Edinburgh carriers need to be

:45:42. > :46:00.careful. Blues trying to get their hands on

:46:01. > :46:05.the ball. Still, phase after phase for Emma but they are not doing

:46:06. > :46:13.anything with it. -- Edinburgh.

:46:14. > :46:21.It could work out extremely well for Cardiff Blues. A great kick from Dan

:46:22. > :46:27.Fish. No one back there for Edinburgh, a great result for the

:46:28. > :46:36.visitors. He looked as if he pulled a hamstring there.

:46:37. > :46:39.A carbon copy of the first half, just Blues going from side to side

:46:40. > :46:43.not getting forward momentum. Exactly what Edinburgh did for the

:46:44. > :46:51.last seven phases. They didn't really go anywhere. At the end of

:46:52. > :46:59.it, the turnover has been forced. They are now 40 metres back from

:47:00. > :47:04.where they started. Reid about to come on.

:47:05. > :47:12.An unsung hero for the Blues, Dan Fish.

:47:13. > :47:16.He is very useful to have around. He can play 15, winger, he has stepped

:47:17. > :47:23.up at ten where needs be. Tactically he is a very good player, you knows

:47:24. > :47:26.what to do and when to do it. He will have Matthew Morgan to deal

:47:27. > :47:39.with next year who will arrive from Bristol.

:47:40. > :47:51.Lou Reed is coming on. A change from Danny Wilson at second

:47:52. > :47:59.row. It is the try scorer.

:48:00. > :48:03.Jamestown is coming off, he has played quite if you minutes for the

:48:04. > :48:08.Cardiff Blues this season, I am sure he will be happy with his six and a

:48:09. > :48:13.half minutes of rest until he gets a couple of weeks off.

:48:14. > :48:27.James Down rather than Cam Dolan coming off for Lou Reed.

:48:28. > :48:32.A second time Cardiff Blues have used that starter, hitting into

:48:33. > :48:41.midfield, with a return play coming back. Breaking play, let us go back

:48:42. > :48:46.to Sean. Sam Davies had a great year, players

:48:47. > :48:52.Player of the Year. Through he went. A lovely pause -- a lovely pass

:48:53. > :48:55.over. Missing the conversion. Yet another

:48:56. > :49:10.try for the Ulstermen. Sam Davies creating an impression.

:49:11. > :49:16.Both Welsh sides will miss out, desperately disappointing there will

:49:17. > :49:21.be no Welsh percentage than in that top four.

:49:22. > :49:27.Edinburgh will be going for broke. They have two charts their arm which

:49:28. > :49:34.they haven't in the second half. Very little possession. Very little

:49:35. > :49:42.territory as well. An end of season Bill, a scrappy half. Anyone looking

:49:43. > :49:49.to play a little bit. The off-loads rather than being 70-30 in your

:49:50. > :50:02.favour, it has been 50-50, not coming off most of the time.

:50:03. > :50:10.Munster lead 19-12 in Thomond Park, the latest score.

:50:11. > :50:16.They had a quite couple of weeks, the scholar is. They came back into

:50:17. > :50:25.it last week, they showed a lot more form last week, their key players

:50:26. > :50:57.were back, Scott Williams. A tight one for them.

:50:58. > :51:04.If you are wondering what the break in play is, I would have thought

:51:05. > :51:10.someone is on a stag weekend having a good time and needless to say the

:51:11. > :51:11.cameras would be bringing him up. He is wearing very little apart from a

:51:12. > :51:30.hat. Let us head back to him or news.

:51:31. > :51:36.There has been an error here. It is gleefully accepted by the

:51:37. > :51:44.replacement winner who takes Munster to 19-12. If the Blues and the

:51:45. > :51:49.Ospreys stay the same with Ulster, as it stands, the Blues could finish

:51:50. > :51:58.with this Scarlett lets in faith and Munster in sixth. -- Scarlets.

:51:59. > :52:02.That's the table as it stands and all change with all the games

:52:03. > :52:15.kicking off at the same time. Six minutes to go so who knows?

:52:16. > :52:22.Scott Andrews on the far side has come on in search of Taufa'ao

:52:23. > :52:41.Filise. -- instead of. The Blues seem to be under pressure

:52:42. > :52:51.but it is play on. He gets over the gain line but he was held. That's

:52:52. > :52:55.the last thing they wanted as it was a nothing penalty really. Those are

:52:56. > :53:07.the ones in the middle of the park that infuriate the coaching team.

:53:08. > :53:17.This crappy scrum. He went right and got a bit isolated. He's so big and

:53:18. > :53:22.hard to move. Unfortunately for the Cardiff Blues they conceded a

:53:23. > :53:23.penalty and now they have two defender and Edinburgh line-out 30

:53:24. > :53:47.metres from their try line. There will be defensive work for the

:53:48. > :53:54.Blues in the final three minutes at Murrayfield. It has been all the

:53:55. > :54:03.Blues in the second half. We've seen no play at all in their 22.

:54:04. > :54:09.Desperate not to give anything away. A final flourish from Edinburgh, but

:54:10. > :54:21.they've won it back. Turnbull did some great work in that tackle area.

:54:22. > :54:38.The Cardiff Blues need to be careful, not concede any territory.

:54:39. > :54:45.The kick should have gone out to take another minute of the clop --

:54:46. > :54:49.clock. If the defence can stand firm and they match up man on man and get

:54:50. > :54:58.their technique right, hopefully they won't get close enough in

:54:59. > :55:06.kicking range. Again, they've won a crucial ball. That could be it.

:55:07. > :55:18.The good work could win them the game. They will be more than happy

:55:19. > :55:23.with that, the Cardiff Blues. We have about a minute and a half to

:55:24. > :55:28.go. Who's your man the match? Ellis Jenkins has had a very good game at

:55:29. > :55:39.the breakdown for the Cardiff Blues. First half, Jason Tovey, but the

:55:40. > :55:43.stand-up man is the guy you see on your screen, Rey Lee-Lo. He's

:55:44. > :55:47.probably been the start -- spark for the Cardiff Blues and has created

:55:48. > :55:52.most of the things that have come through. He's my man of the match

:55:53. > :55:57.and that is there really deserved. And the Samoan international will

:55:58. > :56:05.only go from strength to strength next year. Let us be capped on

:56:06. > :56:11.today's proceedings with Sean. The final nail in the Ospreys

:56:12. > :56:17.coughing. Not many time you see them concede 40 points, let alone at

:56:18. > :56:23.home. The Ospreys have scored another try. It lives them back

:56:24. > :56:29.above Edinburgh in the top eight but no qualification for the Champions

:56:30. > :56:31.Cup next year. The Blues will finish on seven if they remain at 21-17

:56:32. > :56:46.with two minutes to go. The Scarlets are the sole

:56:47. > :56:53.representatives then in the cup. I can't see them getting too far into

:56:54. > :57:01.the area. They are dropping straight back. They have 50 seconds to play

:57:02. > :57:06.and they need to make sure they stay on their feet.

:57:07. > :57:14.Streetwise now in the final minute. If you picked and drives, keep their

:57:15. > :57:24.discipline and victory will go to the Blues. Williams knows that.

:57:25. > :57:29.Attacking just around the fringes. It will be a good final effort for

:57:30. > :57:35.the Blues. It's been a mixed bag of the season, not starting well, but

:57:36. > :57:40.they had come back strong and they've given away a penalty.

:57:41. > :57:45.There's still time for Edinburgh to nick this at the death. Edinburgh

:57:46. > :57:50.need to be quick if they want to put this into touch as there are just

:57:51. > :57:59.couple of seconds left on the clock. A great touch find from Jason Tovey.

:58:00. > :58:05.Pressure mounts. What a kick! This is the last chance for Edinburgh. I

:58:06. > :58:12.can't see the ball going to far away from the driving line-out. What

:58:13. > :58:27.Newman -- and opportunity. They have the chance to score a try.

:58:28. > :58:43.The malt is formed. The Blues are trying to drag it down. Edinburgh

:58:44. > :58:55.had to drive on. It's all or nothing for both sides.

:58:56. > :59:07.The clock has turned red and it is the final act. The strong man at

:59:08. > :59:17.number eight. Hidalgo-Clyne and the Blues up very quickly trying to

:59:18. > :59:25.snuff the attack out. The Cardiff Blues are committing anyone to the

:59:26. > :59:31.breakdown. Hidalgo-Clyne marshals the troops and orchestrates things.

:59:32. > :59:35.Driven on here, phase after phase and wave after wave from Edinburgh

:59:36. > :59:48.but they're not getting anywhere at the moment. This will be it. Fish

:59:49. > :59:59.bangs it in and it's a memorable victory from the Blues. Two

:00:00. > :00:04.second-half tries from Dolan and Garyn Smith means they are

:00:05. > :00:10.successful. It hasn't gone all their way during the course of the season

:00:11. > :00:16.but they win here and end the season on a high. They finished in

:00:17. > :00:27.Murrayfield, Edinburgh 17, the Cardiff Blues 21. It is the end in

:00:28. > :00:35.Edinburgh and the Blues and unlikely victory. Song-macro one of the two

:00:36. > :00:44.try scorers in the second half getting a victory for them. And in

:00:45. > :00:50.the Munster game, it is 24-15 with ten minutes to go. It's academic for

:00:51. > :00:53.the Scarlets because they needed the Ospreys to win if they were to

:00:54. > :01:00.advance into the semifinals but it hasn't happened. 46-26 the score

:01:01. > :01:12.there so a big defeat for the Ospreys. And Zebre are winning 47-17

:01:13. > :01:22.against the Dragons. Glasgow had a red card in the start of the second

:01:23. > :01:34.half. Lastly, Leinster have coasted to victory against Treviso. 50- life

:01:35. > :01:37.-- 50-19 is the current score in that one so Leinster finish on top

:01:38. > :01:49.of the table at the end of the regular season. And the number two

:01:50. > :01:56.team there are in second place. And the two away semifinalists will be

:01:57. > :02:00.Glasgow and Ulster as things stand and Ulster will travel to play

:02:01. > :02:08.Leinster and Glasgow will travel to play Connacht. This Scarlets,

:02:09. > :02:12.despite their valiant attempts are 24-15 down and they will finish

:02:13. > :02:17.fifth if things remain as they are which means they are in the

:02:18. > :02:23.champions spot but not in the semifinals. Munster will bag that

:02:24. > :02:28.spot. The Blues will finish the season ahead of the Ospreys and

:02:29. > :02:34.Dragons. You can see the Munster try that has taken them into the lead.

:02:35. > :02:41.It was from their international number eight. And the number two for

:02:42. > :02:46.Ireland burrowed them in with his shoulder. But it was kind of

:02:47. > :02:50.academic because if they were to gain anything from that match they

:02:51. > :02:54.needed the Ospreys to beat Ulster at the liberty stadium. We talked about

:02:55. > :02:59.the Ospreys culture and the fact it might be enough to get them through

:03:00. > :03:06.the game, but Ulster had too much for them. I probably need a change

:03:07. > :03:10.of glasses. I got it wrong. It's a surprise, the score, but Ulster have

:03:11. > :03:16.been a strong squad for a while now and maybe a bridge too far for the

:03:17. > :03:20.Ospreys at the end of the season. Credit to Ulster. They've come

:03:21. > :03:31.strong and overtaken the Scarlet -- Scarlets. I think we can see another

:03:32. > :03:42.try from that game. 24-15 remains the score. No, it's from the Ospreys

:03:43. > :03:53.game. It is 46-26 but it is still ongoing. The result is way beyond

:03:54. > :03:59.doubt. It means, Martin, the Blues will finish above the Ospreys. Given

:04:00. > :04:03.the fact the Blues came 10th last season and they have had a period of

:04:04. > :04:07.flux fraught quite some time, they'll take something from that. I

:04:08. > :04:12.think it's short-sighted to think you've had a good -- good season

:04:13. > :04:18.because you've finished above the Ospreys, but it's definitely an

:04:19. > :04:24.improvement for them. What the Ospreys did in Europe was

:04:25. > :04:29.sensational. That took a lot out of them post-start of the season. They

:04:30. > :04:35.will be back next year. World Cup year, I think the league table is

:04:36. > :04:38.skewed. They will be desperately disappointed to finish below the

:04:39. > :04:44.Blues, but when everyone is back at the start of next year, we'll see

:04:45. > :04:50.where everyone lies. For the Blues is definitely a step forward.

:04:51. > :04:55.Probably the only Welsh region to win in the final weekend of the

:04:56. > :05:01.season. We talked about Edinburgh dominating and they barely got a

:05:02. > :05:10.look in. I was surprised the Blues were winning. Edinburgh looked in

:05:11. > :05:13.total control. The Blues totally dominated territory and possession

:05:14. > :05:37.and rightfully came up with a win. Can Dolan is thought highly of. Yes.

:05:38. > :05:48.This was 20 minutes into the second half when it had been all Blues. A

:05:49. > :05:49.good carry there by Smith. They were battering away but couldn't get over

:05:50. > :06:21.the line. Treviso have been condemned to the

:06:22. > :06:25.Challenge Cup next year. Brian O'Driscoll played with a good deal

:06:26. > :06:33.of confidence this season. Going back to the Blues, I don't know how

:06:34. > :06:41.much you managed to absorb but it was a bizarre turnaround. Credit to

:06:42. > :06:50.the Blues. There has been a shift in culture. It shows at crucial times.

:06:51. > :06:56.When you are down in Scotland it is tough and Edinburgh were chasing the

:06:57. > :07:05.game. Credit to Danny and them. It's been a relative success. From an

:07:06. > :07:09.Ospreys point of view, they will be devastated they finished third and

:07:10. > :07:15.had a poor season by their standard. For Danny and cope, they are looking

:07:16. > :07:31.up. They have something to hold onto and they've finished strong.

:07:32. > :07:38.It was a great starting point and they need to click on next year.

:07:39. > :07:52.Nick Williams was top of the list as well. And Rey Lee-Lo was great

:07:53. > :07:57.today. Ball in hand, there's no problem. It's without the ball. This

:07:58. > :08:04.is a good example. You kicked loose to someone like Fish and he will

:08:05. > :08:11.find the mismatch or day long. A great line by Garyn Smith. He's been

:08:12. > :08:15.an unsung hero. He's done his work in defence and is a strong and

:08:16. > :08:21.committed player. They have got a good partnership going together.

:08:22. > :08:26.When the try was scored, Edinburgh didn't look like getting back into

:08:27. > :08:30.the game. It goes to show, very dangerous with ball in hand, the

:08:31. > :08:35.Blues. They can move forward next year. Let us hear from a man whose

:08:36. > :08:44.celebratory drink will taste sweeter tonight. Danny, well done. Not a bad

:08:45. > :08:49.way to end the season? I was pleased and we've finished seventh if I've

:08:50. > :08:55.done my maths right. We've achieved the targets we set ourselves. Credit

:08:56. > :09:00.to the group of players and our leaders. A real dig in from the

:09:01. > :09:05.likes of Anscombe and Garyn Smith today. Really pleasing for us. How

:09:06. > :09:10.pleasing was it the fact that you closed out the game, which you

:09:11. > :09:17.didn't do last week? The difference was we had a slow start away from

:09:18. > :09:22.home and we weren't really looking like we could do the job. Then we

:09:23. > :09:26.came out and showed fight and the conviction to go out and win a game

:09:27. > :09:32.of rugby. They've finished strongly. Disappointingly perhaps couldn't

:09:33. > :09:36.have nicked it last week. What would you say about the season as a whole?

:09:37. > :09:44.We've put platforms in place and picked up three away wins now. We've

:09:45. > :09:47.had a good home record, we've climbed the league 27 so there are a

:09:48. > :09:54.number of things we've done that sets a to build on. In Italy, do you

:09:55. > :10:00.think what might have been? Probably the Treviso game. We couldn't finish

:10:01. > :10:05.at we will look back at that one. Tight wins we've had as well and we

:10:06. > :10:11.will tap ourselves on our back for some performances. Had a good

:10:12. > :10:15.summer. Thank you. We were talking about how they've evolved this

:10:16. > :10:21.season and Danny Wilson and I guess the critical thing is continuity.

:10:22. > :10:26.We've seen implement before when they have started to reach a

:10:27. > :10:33.promising place. Critical to enact his vision. Not an easy job for

:10:34. > :10:41.Danny. They had to go to all the Irish provinces away from home. He's

:10:42. > :10:45.guided them through nicely. The expectation of this first season,

:10:46. > :10:51.he's reached. As Martin says, with the capital region, expectations

:10:52. > :10:58.will improve and more signings will come in. Finishing above seventh

:10:59. > :11:04.last -- next year and in the Champions Cup? Because that's where

:11:05. > :11:08.you need to be. How will they respond and bounce back? Next year

:11:09. > :11:14.will be really interesting and no World Cup on the back of New Zealand

:11:15. > :11:23.tours. Like Sean says, when you look at the mix of the teams and the

:11:24. > :11:26.Scarlets backline next year, that's mouthwatering. The Blues will be

:11:27. > :11:33.stronger so it is fascinating. Danny Wilson has done a brilliant job

:11:34. > :11:36.going from five wins last year to 11 this year with predominantly the

:11:37. > :11:42.same group of players. A fantastic job. The first time the Ospreys

:11:43. > :11:47.won't be dining at the European table. Isn't that a travesty? You

:11:48. > :11:55.look at the type of things they may be facing, Gloucester and Bath and

:11:56. > :11:59.teams quite close geographically who provide travelling support. The

:12:00. > :12:03.money is the same so it's a tournament they could win. In terms

:12:04. > :12:11.of getting back into a groove, you might not be bad for them? That's

:12:12. > :12:16.one way of looking at it. As an aspiring coach, you want to be in

:12:17. > :12:19.the top competition. They are used to dining at the big table and

:12:20. > :12:26.attracting signings for the following year. For recruitment,

:12:27. > :12:32.it's huge. To recruit the best you need to be in the top tournaments.

:12:33. > :12:39.They had to take it on the chin. And they have strong need to ship so I

:12:40. > :12:48.have every confidence they will bounce back. Put it into confidence

:12:49. > :12:56.-- perspective, if you can. You've mentioned the fact it's World Cup

:12:57. > :13:00.year. And they've had key injuries. Put it into context. They had a

:13:01. > :13:07.really bad start in the World Cup. They were chasing the top six ever

:13:08. > :13:12.since and haven't quite managed to get it out. We know they have the

:13:13. > :13:16.core of Dan Biggar and other world-class players. When they are

:13:17. > :13:23.on the part they can beat anyone. And they've found young players this

:13:24. > :13:27.year so that's a bonus. They will regroup and come back stronger next

:13:28. > :13:32.year. What Sean touched upon is critical.

:13:33. > :13:42.When you are used to being at the top end, it is hard. I am sure

:13:43. > :13:45.they're focused next year will be to get in the top six and the tops for

:13:46. > :13:49.to make sure they're in the Challenge Cup for the next season.

:13:50. > :13:57.Four of the six games are now at full-time. The Blues won and the

:13:58. > :14:05.Ospreys and also score is 26-4 to six adults comfortably. The Dragons

:14:06. > :14:09.score is 47-22 and victory for Zebre confirming their place in the

:14:10. > :14:16.Champions Cup next year. And Leinster, Treviso was 50-19 which

:14:17. > :14:21.means Treviso will not compete at Europe's top table next year. The

:14:22. > :14:26.other to date -- games are still going and we will bring you the

:14:27. > :14:30.scores as soon as we get them. But let us look back at the Ospreys

:14:31. > :14:36.against Ulster. Wonderful attacking option. Man of

:14:37. > :14:43.the match against the Blues last weekend is a metre short. First

:14:44. > :14:52.blood to the Ospreys! The half-backs in tandem. There are plenty of

:14:53. > :14:58.options here. This is Henderson, the flanker. A great drive from the

:14:59. > :15:00.blindside flanker. Plenty of room and the inside pass and they are

:15:01. > :15:14.level. Smith out to Dan Biggar. He decides

:15:15. > :15:16.to go on his own and just about reaches the try line. The second try

:15:17. > :15:23.for the Ospreys. A little chip kick into the box and

:15:24. > :15:45.Trimble is their outside his own 22. Fortune favours the brave! A great

:15:46. > :15:51.drive for the international winger. -- try. The all-important fourth try

:15:52. > :15:57.is what they are after. Gilroy is about a metre out. I think the

:15:58. > :16:02.Ospreys might have stolen it and recycled the ball back on their own

:16:03. > :16:07.try line. Can they clear? Rhys Webb holds the ball and looks for the

:16:08. > :16:16.options. One of the Irish flankers and has reached out. Do you know

:16:17. > :16:21.what? I think that is a try. It could be the all-important score and

:16:22. > :16:25.that's exactly what they came for. The bonus point is theirs.

:16:26. > :16:34.That's what happened at the liberty stadium. And Munster Scarlets is

:16:35. > :16:41.full-time and 31-15 was the final score to Munster.

:16:42. > :16:50.The inside centre scored the final try. Ultimately, it was a fairly

:16:51. > :16:55.comprehensive defeat for Scarlets and Munster are in the European

:16:56. > :16:58.Champions Cup next season. Like the Ospreys, they were in danger of

:16:59. > :17:03.dropping out of it for the first time so it's good news for their

:17:04. > :17:08.fans. Let as reflect on the Scarlets season then. We talked about it

:17:09. > :17:16.being a disappointment if they didn't qualify for the semis. As a

:17:17. > :17:22.fan and disappointed the season has finished and they should be in the

:17:23. > :17:25.semifinal. It was a strange one. Once they beat the Ospreys, they

:17:26. > :17:31.thought everything else would come is illegal. As a young team they

:17:32. > :17:37.would have learnt a lot about keeping going to the end. The league

:17:38. > :17:46.is so tight. Looking at their backline next year, Scott Williams

:17:47. > :17:52.fit and Davis coming back. I still think they need to recruit a front

:17:53. > :18:00.and get real big ball-carriers in the front five really. They were

:18:01. > :18:06.poor in Europe so they have to be competitive there. The only Welsh

:18:07. > :18:11.team in the Champions Cup, but it is ultimately they haven't got into the

:18:12. > :18:15.semifinals. And Glasgow have been in the play-offs for five consecutive

:18:16. > :18:21.years. They didn't make it through and then they got a final and lost

:18:22. > :18:26.it and then they got to a final and won it. You have to be used to being

:18:27. > :18:30.at the big occasions and get used to winning them. Is it indicative of

:18:31. > :18:36.where they are now. Not quite a champion team? A couple of years ago

:18:37. > :18:41.they made the play-offs and lost in the semifinal but there's been no

:18:42. > :18:45.constituency. The Blues in recent years... No Welsh team is

:18:46. > :18:53.challenging for silver ware. The Scarlets last silverware was in

:18:54. > :18:58.2003-2004 so it's a long time for support is who have a proud heritage

:18:59. > :19:04.over the years and the Ospreys will have to bounce back.

:19:05. > :19:13.I think we need to see that come through. The Scarlets recruited well

:19:14. > :19:19.and the Blues have strengthened so next year should be more of a

:19:20. > :19:25.challenge out of World Cup year. And it brings a competitive edge in at

:19:26. > :19:32.the end of competitions. The Scarlets players will be devastated.

:19:33. > :19:42.They desperately would have wanted to go to the semifinals. They were

:19:43. > :19:45.top for a long part of the season. The home semifinals will be

:19:46. > :19:54.difficult to beat. There's nothing worse than your season petering out

:19:55. > :19:59.like it has for the Scarlets. Trying to back up after the big win against

:20:00. > :20:06.the Ospreys, you have two back it up at home and they failed to do that.

:20:07. > :20:13.I think there are no excuses any more. Have other regions improved? I

:20:14. > :20:17.don't think they have. You always give someone the benefit of the

:20:18. > :20:32.doubt in World Cup year, but next year is key. Thank you. I can

:20:33. > :20:38.confirm the semifinals for you. That will be on the 20th and 21st of May.

:20:39. > :20:45.The final at Murrayfield on the 28th of way. That is it for the Pro12

:20:46. > :20:46.regular season. We are on at seven o'clock tomorrow. We will see you

:20:47. > :20:52.then.
