:00:09. > :00:13.They are the most successful side since the birth of regional rugby.

:00:13. > :00:18.They have won this trophy more times than any other side in the

:00:18. > :00:28.league. They are the defending champions. Tonight, the Ospreys

:00:28. > :00:33.

:00:33. > :00:43.take their style, strength and The Ospreys are crowned the Celtic

:00:43. > :01:15.

:01:15. > :01:19.OSPREYS! The Ospreys are champions There has been some pretty

:01:19. > :01:23.unseasonable late summer weather in Treviso. There was torrential rain

:01:23. > :01:28.earlier. Luckily, the clouds parted, the sun came out and conditions are

:01:28. > :01:32.good. The Ospreys arrived at the ground about an hour ago. A very

:01:32. > :01:35.tough opening game for them. It's never an easy place to come and get

:01:35. > :01:41.a result. They turned over the Dragons and the Scarlets last

:01:41. > :01:46.season. Go evening, a very warm welcome to

:01:46. > :01:51.a new series of Scrum V. A new studio, a new studio. Thankfully,

:01:51. > :01:55.some familiar faces alongside me. Former Wales international Jonathan

:01:55. > :02:00.Davies and former Ospreys coach Sean Holley. It's a tough place to

:02:00. > :02:03.go. Realistically, should it hold much fear for them? You never know

:02:03. > :02:08.what form you are going to start the season with. The end of last

:02:08. > :02:15.season, they were brilliant. They played with mud on their face. When

:02:15. > :02:19.you saw them at the start of the programme, they are smiling. The

:02:19. > :02:23.focus through pre-season is your first game. Wherever you go, you

:02:23. > :02:28.want to nail your first game. To do that, irrespective of how they play,

:02:28. > :02:33.to get a result on the board, it's a good start. They did exactly that

:02:33. > :02:37.last season, with a opening victory over Leinster. Perhaps most

:02:37. > :02:41.impressive was the end of the season. Seven in a row, including

:02:41. > :02:44.the epic final against Leinster. What was it that made them so

:02:44. > :02:50.irresistible in that phase? There are lots of things through the

:02:50. > :02:54.season. I picked a few things from the analysis. They like their low

:02:54. > :03:01.tackles. They challenge this space in the title contest. That affords

:03:01. > :03:05.them legitimate turnovers. They are one of the more counter-attacking

:03:05. > :03:14.teams. This gives them the quick ball and the offload they need.

:03:14. > :03:22.Players like this have given them the confidence to score tries. It's

:03:23. > :03:28.also to defied by the likes of Rhys Webb. Look at him coming off the

:03:28. > :03:34.bench. We have to get familiar with James King. Another underrated

:03:34. > :03:38.player, the versatile Isaac. You can see them queuing up to score

:03:38. > :03:42.and put sides away. That's a tribute to the fitness coaches.

:03:42. > :03:47.This guy has become a household name. A strong step, he makes lots

:03:47. > :03:54.of wine breaks. The guy that takes the stick but makes them take his

:03:54. > :03:57.Daniel Biggar. He's a consummate professional. As Jonathan said,

:03:57. > :04:01.going into this first game, it's not a fixture they will be

:04:01. > :04:07.relishing. They have never lost to an Italian team. And yet the

:04:08. > :04:12.conditions make it a very tricky It is not rocket science. They

:04:12. > :04:20.played well at the end of last year. They created a quicker ball and

:04:20. > :04:26.they utilised that. That is when you bring in players like Beck and

:04:26. > :04:32.Derksen. The style they played was really enjoyable to watch. At the

:04:32. > :04:37.end of last season, they were magnificent. That final results in

:04:37. > :04:41.Leinster was brilliant. OK, thanks. We can cross over to Treviso now

:04:41. > :04:51.and speak to a Welshman who knows a thing or two about the Italian

:04:51. > :05:06.

:05:06. > :05:11.Let's talk about the Ospreys scored. It's very pared down. We were

:05:11. > :05:15.looking at the stats. 20 players have left, through transfers and

:05:15. > :05:22.retirement. One new arrival in the form of Jonathan Spratt. Have they

:05:22. > :05:26.have the depth of squad to defend it? Adams is not playing, Ryan has

:05:26. > :05:31.picked up an injury. It's a difficult balance. All of the

:05:31. > :05:35.regions have streamlined their squad, for these reasons, financial

:05:35. > :05:39.reasons. They have big games coming up. By the same token, they need to

:05:39. > :05:42.get off to a good start. The end of the season last year was excellent.

:05:42. > :05:46.But it was built on the start of the season during the World Cup.

:05:46. > :05:53.How they cope with -- remains to be seen. They need to get off to a

:05:53. > :05:57.good start. They have retained the core of the pack, a pack that

:05:57. > :06:02.terrorised so many opponents last season? You look at successful

:06:02. > :06:07.sides, it starts up front. But if you haven't got a solid back row,

:06:07. > :06:14.your back row doesn't function, you don't bring your try-scorers in.

:06:14. > :06:24.Adam Jones is priceless. But when he doesn't play, they need to see

:06:24. > :06:26.

:06:26. > :06:30.how Jarvis plays, Bevington. That is the platform that they used to

:06:30. > :06:36.springboard their success. mentioned the likes of James King,

:06:36. > :06:44.Tom Isaacs. Guys like Derksen and Ashley Beck, break through seasons

:06:44. > :06:49.for them. Who might be the next to Ashley Beck? Sam Lewis is playing,

:06:49. > :06:55.Rhys Webb. Sam Lewis, James King, they are the rest. Bevington will

:06:55. > :06:59.get his opportunity. It's an interesting tussle in the back row.

:06:59. > :07:09.An abrasive experience against a very young, very athletic and very

:07:09. > :07:10.

:07:10. > :07:17.good back-row. Donovan Thomas, he The kick-off is nearly upon us.

:07:17. > :07:23.Unfortunately, I don't think we will speak to Phil Steele. We had

:07:23. > :07:33.two former Wales captains in the commentary box, Robbie Jones and

:07:33. > :07:37.

:07:37. > :07:43.the distance, they have dumped a huge amount of rain on the Stadio

:07:43. > :07:47.di Monigo. There was a lot of surface water. If you do not see

:07:47. > :07:57.many spectators on the right hand side, it is because they have

:07:57. > :08:21.

:08:21. > :08:26.very wet and breezy out there. Of course, Ben Elton has picked a big,

:08:26. > :08:32.strong attack. Williams is on the bench. Real intent, emphasising the

:08:32. > :08:42.way that they want to play it. A physical experience up front to

:08:42. > :08:42.

:08:42. > :09:35.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:09:35. > :09:39.contain any physical confrontation that occasion. Good work by the

:09:39. > :09:49.Ospreys. It is wet, it is about holding on to possession as much as

:09:49. > :09:55.

:09:55. > :10:03.assisted in this half. It's strange, because sometimes it blasts across

:10:03. > :10:13.the ground. That might bring more rain later. There are clouds

:10:13. > :10:36.

:10:36. > :10:46.gathered in his own 22. Along comes the surge from Treviso. Fussell has

:10:46. > :11:21.

:11:21. > :11:25.But I don't think he had his winger on the same line as him. He did

:11:25. > :11:35.exceptionally well to stay on his feet, wait for support and go to

:11:35. > :11:45.ground when needed. Just looking at some serious lightning in distance.

:11:45. > :11:55.

:11:55. > :12:05.The clouds are gathering and took too long. The only long thing

:12:05. > :12:41.

:12:41. > :12:51.tempo, Treviso are more at home duties both here and for it in the

:12:51. > :13:16.

:13:16. > :13:26.international player in the Treviso takes it up. Advantage still being

:13:26. > :13:34.

:13:34. > :13:40.Richard Hibbard. You can see exactly what this Treviso side want

:13:40. > :13:45.to do. It is all about the forwards. They have some big players in

:13:45. > :13:49.midfield. They are keeping everything fairly tight. There is

:13:49. > :13:59.no width a tall in their back line. It's all fairly close to ruck and

:13:59. > :14:03.

:14:03. > :14:13.for Chris Burden to open the scoring. He's normally a 10, but

:14:13. > :14:20.

:14:20. > :14:30.number ten in the world. Perhaps after the kit we can have a word

:14:30. > :14:48.

:14:48. > :14:51.We know that to be so how this wind. You have a theory about how that

:14:51. > :14:55.might play against them? They prefer to play the other way to

:14:55. > :15:05.start the game. You can see their intentions straight away. They are

:15:05. > :15:20.

:15:20. > :15:24.going to try to squeeze through the The back row, quality players.

:15:24. > :15:30.Burton at fullback, they will play him at fullback for the kicking

:15:30. > :15:35.game. These new laws, the five- second rule if the ball is at the

:15:35. > :15:39.base of a ruck, then there is a turnover? After the referee calls

:15:39. > :15:43.it, five seconds. It will be tested tonight. In these conditions, it is

:15:43. > :15:47.where it will be tested. They normally like to slow it down and

:15:47. > :15:51.get some composure. We will see how it goes. Look out for the new

:15:51. > :16:01.protocol at the scrums. Crouch, touch, set. Let's hope it doesn't

:16:01. > :16:01.

:16:01. > :16:46.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:16:46. > :16:56.become Crouch, touch, a set, Ian Evans. That is a professional

:16:56. > :17:03.foul. I think he tried to get his hand or foot in to disrupt Edoardo

:17:03. > :17:08.Gori. The referee went to his pocket. Already, we have seen the

:17:08. > :17:18.power. The Ospreys will have to dig deeper for the next 10 minutes,

:17:18. > :17:40.

:17:40. > :17:47.because there will be more of the for Treviso. Again, a penalty

:17:47. > :17:57.against the Ospreys. It is a kickable range. The certainly. The

:17:57. > :18:03.

:18:03. > :18:11.referee is having a word with Alun offside. Was that a professional

:18:11. > :18:14.foul? Like we saw earlier, with Ian Evans? The ball was taken away at

:18:14. > :18:24.scrum half. It has opened up another opportunity for Kristopher

:18:24. > :18:25.

:18:25. > :18:35.Burton. It is a bit drier in midfield. The touchline areas are

:18:35. > :19:01.

:19:01. > :19:06.the sin bin? Yes, Ian Evans in the sin-bin. What could that do? To win

:19:07. > :19:11.these games, you have got to have discipline. That was pretty petty,

:19:11. > :19:15.interference at the Roku. It is a big game for the Ospreys. You have

:19:15. > :19:25.got to be disciplined, it will be a tough 10 minutes. Discipline is the

:19:25. > :19:35.

:19:35. > :19:43.wonderful kick. It was almost a great kick. That is where all of

:19:43. > :19:48.the standing water was, it makes it difficult for defenders. Richard

:19:48. > :19:54.Fussell felt that he put his foot out of play when the ball was still

:19:54. > :20:04.rolling. He did not, actually, his foot was in the field when he

:20:04. > :20:04.

:20:04. > :20:56.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:20:56. > :21:03.picked it up. It was the right was good defensive work initially.

:21:03. > :21:09.Really putting pressure on the ball carrier. A bit of bad discipline

:21:09. > :21:11.again. They have been caught at ruck and maul time. With Ian Evans

:21:11. > :21:17.of, they have to be very disciplined, they need to keep

:21:17. > :21:27.their shape, they cannot give Kristopher Burton any more

:21:27. > :21:53.

:21:53. > :21:57.Burton and Treviso. The coaching staff were sitting by the side of

:21:57. > :22:02.us, very disappointed. Discipline was a big part of Steve Tandy's

:22:02. > :22:08.philosophy on the game. Very enthusiastic about this group of

:22:08. > :22:18.players and the future for Ospreys, but they will be disappointed with

:22:18. > :22:42.

:22:43. > :22:49.that. Jonathan Thomas had to run a fair distance to get underneath

:22:49. > :22:54.that. It is blustery. The conditions underfoot are not great,

:22:54. > :22:59.either, so expect some mistakes. At this stage, down to 14 men, you

:22:59. > :23:09.have conceded three penalties and nine points, you have to make sure

:23:09. > :23:30.

:23:30. > :23:37.that everything you do is top be the best breeding ground of

:23:37. > :23:41.front row forwards in the world. There is no doubt about that. The

:23:41. > :23:45.number of Georgian players playing in France, and the Argentinians

:23:45. > :23:52.around the world. They thrive on the set piece and the scrimmage in

:23:52. > :24:00.particular. Dan Biggar weather Number Ten, a defensive first half

:24:00. > :24:10.for him. The wind and the power of the Treviso pack have kept the wind

:24:10. > :24:47.

:24:47. > :24:51.down the field, because nobody was ball bobbled to the side. There was

:24:51. > :25:01.a tutor might have space downfield. Dan Biggar showed his running

:25:01. > :25:11.ability. Ashley Beck was in masses of space. They will cause a threat.

:25:11. > :25:30.

:25:30. > :25:40.There is a lot of talent in the Ospreys. Dan Biggar immediately

:25:40. > :25:49.

:25:49. > :25:53.faith in him, to develop into a strong, powerful tight head prop.

:25:53. > :26:01.With Alan Jones away for periods of the season, they need somebody of

:26:01. > :26:06.real quality to come in. This man, hopefully, is the answer. The

:26:06. > :26:16.Ospreys look sharp when they deliver a quick ball. They play off

:26:16. > :26:16.

:26:16. > :26:21.Dan Biggar at Number Ten. They have got talent on the brink. They have

:26:21. > :26:31.the solidity of Andrew Bishop. If they get on the front foot, expect

:26:31. > :26:58.

:26:58. > :27:02.more of the same, even in these We have got two balls on the field.

:27:03. > :27:07.Interesting, they took that quickly. There are 10 minutes to take

:27:07. > :27:11.advantage. One minute left on the sin-bin, they want to make sure

:27:11. > :27:18.they get another opportunity to either get the three points back,

:27:19. > :27:28.or put themselves into a position to score. Perhaps not a minute.

:27:29. > :27:51.

:27:51. > :28:01.If the referee says, play the ball,... He only has five seconds.

:28:01. > :28:02.

:28:02. > :28:07.He did not call it. I think that is a good rule change. It needs to

:28:07. > :28:12.come in. Too many times last year, especially at international level,

:28:12. > :28:19.the ball has been held there for what seems like an age. England,

:28:19. > :28:24.Lee Dickson kept pulling players out to give extra time and space.

:28:24. > :28:34.The ball was there for 20 or 25 seconds, it slows the game down. It

:28:34. > :29:05.

:29:05. > :29:15.needs to be changed, and most the Ospreys. The Ospreys will be

:29:15. > :29:17.

:29:17. > :29:27.delighted with that. Another turnover. From kicking the ball

:29:27. > :29:32.

:29:32. > :29:39.downfield, it is now a Ospreys favouring the home side, not

:29:39. > :29:46.surprising, given the wind conditions. They are a part very

:29:46. > :29:56.big home pack. They picked their biggest and strongest of the big

:29:56. > :30:08.

:30:08. > :30:18.and strong, having seen the weather pack. What can the three quarters

:30:18. > :30:30.

:30:30. > :30:40.him. Oh, poor kick. Just showing the power in the front five. They

:30:40. > :30:44.

:30:44. > :30:54.also had a really good ball- Barbieri. Big and strong, stays on

:30:54. > :31:05.

:31:05. > :31:10.his feet long enough to get his men horrible ball. Horrible for Tom

:31:10. > :31:17.Isaacs to deal with. The penalty was always on the cards from the

:31:17. > :31:27.Scratby a line-out. Well, it was. A poor line up from the Ospreys.

:31:27. > :31:27.

:31:27. > :32:46.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:32:46. > :32:56.opposed to the penalty. Tom Isaacs, winning. Tries by Harris and to

:32:56. > :32:56.

:32:56. > :33:43.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:33:43. > :33:53.zone. A lot of pressure being white shirts, low, driving, pumping.

:33:53. > :34:13.

:34:13. > :34:20.Still going. Now they are in the tackle, as you say, Sam Lewis,

:34:20. > :34:30.causing him to hang on. First, there. Yes, great open-side play by

:34:30. > :34:39.

:34:39. > :34:49.Sam Lewis. Covering the ground well. promise. Ben Lewis, Steve Tandy and

:34:49. > :34:59.

:34:59. > :35:09.headband on the loose-head side. Again, con Fotuali'i goes into the

:35:09. > :35:09.

:35:09. > :35:59.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:35:59. > :36:09.a very good clearance. The Ospreys come away with it quickly, Ashley

:36:09. > :36:09.

:36:09. > :37:05.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:37:05. > :37:15.was de Barnardo. That is poor. They dominated possession, defensively,

:37:15. > :37:15.

:37:15. > :37:20.they are making their tackles. Some big, big hits going in. That's what

:37:20. > :37:24.we've seen with Italian back lines, they don't really have any creative

:37:24. > :37:34.spark. When they do get on the front foot, they look sharp. They

:37:34. > :37:34.

:37:34. > :38:41.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 53 seconds

:38:41. > :38:51.look as if they can break the the referee. Straight in there,

:38:51. > :38:58.

:38:58. > :39:04.far side. It's Ian Evans. That could spell trouble. One yellow

:39:04. > :39:14.card already. Can we see what has happened at the other side?

:39:14. > :39:40.

:39:41. > :39:45.him, getting his car out. I don't think there was any intent. But,

:39:45. > :39:52.ultimately, it was high. I think the referee has probably made the

:39:52. > :40:00.right decision. He says it wasn't two a la carte, not a sending-off

:40:00. > :40:10.offence. But his indiscipline earlier on has made the decision. -

:40:10. > :40:32.

:40:32. > :40:42.extremely dangerous tackle. -- it's totally with it. But he's walking

:40:42. > :41:03.

:41:03. > :41:08.that second yellow card? As he said, a second. Harsh or fair? By the

:41:08. > :41:14.look of it, there was not much the referee could do with that. It was

:41:14. > :41:18.a forward pass anyway. But once he levelled him, the Italians will lie

:41:18. > :41:23.down and make the most of it. That is what happens. Is that a game

:41:23. > :41:27.changer moment? I think so, the Ospreys have controlled this up

:41:28. > :41:32.until now. That will change things a lot. The Italian mentality, they

:41:32. > :41:37.will vote that? That is what they do, they can smell a weakness, they

:41:37. > :41:47.can upset you and create problems for your team. You can see them

:41:47. > :42:06.

:42:06. > :42:13.very good tackle, back in the thick Ospreys. Nitoglia involved, losing

:42:13. > :42:18.it at the breakdown. So, scrum down? It is a line-up, actually. I

:42:18. > :42:28.think he jumped in before he had an opportunity. You can see, he kicked

:42:28. > :42:32.

:42:32. > :42:42.the ball. It came off Benetton into caught a Benetton foot on the way

:42:42. > :43:19.

:43:19. > :43:25.Fotuali'i. That is why you want the ball to land, where you'll win here

:43:26. > :43:34.is arriving. Again, the reaction is probably quicker on the ground.

:43:34. > :43:44.That has come from the Benetton side. A good, attacking position.

:43:44. > :44:14.

:44:14. > :44:19.Five Treviso forwards in the line- six times now on the deck, the

:44:19. > :44:23.Ospreys. Sam Lewis has managed to pinch a Benetton ball. But they

:44:23. > :44:33.just look a little bit hungrier, the Benetton side at the moment. A

:44:33. > :44:47.

:52:46. > :52:52.the big talking point is the Ian Evans red card. We saw he was shown

:52:52. > :52:58.a yellow card after nine minutes, editor of ill-discipline. It is not

:53:14. > :53:19.the ball on the floor, he got penalised. This one, again, if he

:53:19. > :53:24.had not had the first yellow card, he would still be on, but in the

:54:36. > :54:40.it is amazing, how much 14 men can galvanise 18. It is an important

:54:41. > :54:44.team-talk that they have to give. They will shut up shop, place some

:54:44. > :54:50.territory, because they have had too much of the ball in those

:54:50. > :54:55.conditions. Speaking of discipline, prior to the red card, we talked

:54:55. > :55:04.about the poor discipline. In the first 12 minutes, they conceded

:55:04. > :55:08.four penalties. Before they knew would, they were 12-0 down. They do

:55:21. > :55:27.leads to the yellow card, he is frustrated, and he gives away a

:55:27. > :55:32.silly penalty, and it leads to his record. It is innocuous, but the

:55:32. > :55:37.referee will give it. It is more of a passive style of Defence, on the

:55:44. > :55:49.After 12 minutes and four penalties, the Ospreys are losing 9-0, and it

:55:55. > :56:00.made silly errors. They do not want to play trophy so, they have got a

:56:06. > :56:11.Eight turnovers, the Ospreys. Three of them were attacking turnovers,

:56:11. > :56:15.so they lost the momentum. But they are still in the game, they are a

:56:15. > :56:22.man short, the conditions will be with them, and they now know that

:56:22. > :56:28.it is a dogfight. All of the pre- season preparation goes out of the

:56:28. > :56:33.window. You have game management, and mental toughness. That is what

:56:33. > :56:43.you have to do. It has been scrappy, they have been sloppy. We have got

:56:43. > :56:50.a few examples of the errors. The conditions to not help. This is a

:56:50. > :56:56.great Blake -- great break, and it does not result in anything. Some

:56:56. > :57:03.good quality first-phase possession. But again, the net result is that

:57:03. > :57:11.the Ospreys lose the ball. It will be frustrating. This is not like

:57:11. > :57:15.the Ospreys. They are not shifting the extra pass and isolating a one-

:57:15. > :57:19.on-one in defence. This half will be more of a dogfight. The half-

:57:19. > :57:28.time team talk will be about that, and they have to stay within a

:57:28. > :57:32.score. The full-back, Richard Fussell, he is key, because their

:57:32. > :57:40.weakness is the 12th/13 area, they do not like defending, the Italians

:43:38. > :43:43.manager and the 4th official. Ian Evans, there is likely to be a

:43:43. > :43:47.disciplinary hearing for two technical yellows. It's normally a

:45:53. > :45:54.

:45:54. > :46:01.be careful. There will be a lot of weight coming through. They have

:52:16. > :52:22.It played a big part in the resort. But we had a few chances in the

:52:22. > :52:30.second half, we played very well in the first five or 10 minutes. Full

:52:30. > :52:39.credit to Treviso, they snuck in there. Recapitalised -- we did not

:52:39. > :52:44.capitalise on our chances. A bit of bad discipline? Yes, we talked

:52:44. > :52:50.about it. Our own discipline let us down throughout the whole match. We

:52:50. > :52:56.have got to go back to the drawing board, we have got to talk about it.

:52:56. > :53:02.How disappointing was that, the ill-discipline and missed chances?

:53:02. > :53:10.It was an uphill struggle from the start. You can forgive early ill-

:53:10. > :53:14.discipline, we know we had a bit to do, coming after pre-season games.

:53:14. > :53:19.Looking at the second half, we squandered three opportunities.

:53:19. > :53:23.Then, we had the possession for the majority of the second half. We did

:53:23. > :53:27.not capitalise. But we have got to look at the positives.

:53:28. > :53:34.difficult was it, that you were down to seven in the pack? It is

:53:34. > :53:39.never going to be easy. But there was one scrum, we did well, but we

:53:39. > :53:45.were lacklustre in defence. shows that there will be no easy

:53:45. > :53:48.games this season. I said that last week. We have got to face them

:53:48. > :53:54.another three times in two competitions, so we are doing to

:53:55. > :53:59.learn about each other. I am sure you will put it right next week.

:53:59. > :54:05.Many congratulations, where did you think you when it? We kept

:54:05. > :54:15.concentration. We did not hold the ball in the second half, but we

:54:15. > :54:15.

:54:15. > :54:25.were up to it physically. The four sides -- sides were physical. You

:54:25. > :54:26.

:54:26. > :54:31.That was an interesting point, physicality, the Ospreys bullet

:54:31. > :54:37.teams physically, but Treviso had the edge tonight. The selection put

:54:37. > :54:39.paid to that, they went for a big pack and a good bench. It is

:54:39. > :54:44.disappointing, the first time the Ospreys have ever lost to an

:54:44. > :54:50.Italian team. There was a complete contrast in the quality of both

:54:50. > :54:54.teams. It was a lack of taking the chances after the bad discipline.

:54:54. > :54:58.The hugely frustrating night. Illustrated by the number of

:54:58. > :55:03.opportunities that went begging. The three missed kicks, first of

:55:03. > :55:11.all. You would not normally seek Dan Biggar missing those. Ashley

:55:11. > :55:17.Beck was brilliant. As an outside- half, he has got to accelerate away.

:55:17. > :55:25.The winger terms. But Dan Biggar has not noticed, and he looks for

:55:25. > :55:32.the inside ball. It is a poor pass. The second one, the scrum half

:55:32. > :55:38.makes an attempted tackle. He is held up. That is another missed

:55:38. > :55:48.opportunity. Ashley Beck. Once again, one run down the middle, and

:55:48. > :55:51.look at the overlap, they blew this. He misses it. That is poor passing.

:55:52. > :55:55.They missed it. The three missed penalties, the three missed

:55:56. > :56:02.opportunities, and also, they did not offer anything in the second

:56:06. > :56:10.rustiness from the first game of the season, that is a missed

:56:10. > :56:15.opportunity, they should have won that easily, hands down, on the

:56:15. > :56:21.second half performance. frustrated will Steve Tandy be in

:56:21. > :56:26.the dressing-room? Hugely frustrated. They would have

:56:26. > :56:30.expected to win. Having said that, they have created the opportunities.

:56:30. > :56:36.There are the lot of positive signs that they still have the quality.

:56:36. > :56:42.The conditions played a huge part. Chivvies so never got it into a

:56:42. > :56:48.second pass -- Treviso. But they are coming home next week. It is a

:56:48. > :56:52.big game. We said at the top of the show, you have got to start well.

:56:52. > :56:56.It is not as if we have had a blistering summer. We have had a

:56:57. > :57:01.lot of rain, so the players would have done their work in the rain.

:57:01. > :57:04.Those conditions would not have been a surprise. They will be

:57:04. > :57:10.bitterly disappointed. They should have won on the second half

:57:10. > :57:16.performance. Ashley Beck was the Goto player, he terrorised the

:57:16. > :57:22.midfield, they did not know how to handle him. He would have been the

:57:30. > :57:39.Glasgow 18-10, and the Dragons beat the new Italian franchise. They

:57:39. > :57:49.were 34-6 up at half-time, but it finished 37-6. Four tries in total,

:57:49. > :57:52.

:57:52. > :57:59.the bonus point victory. Dan Evans They will be top of the table

:57:59. > :58:05.tonight, so congratulations to them. A great win. Fantastic. You have

:58:05. > :58:10.got to beat whoever they put in front of you. It will be a shock to

:58:10. > :58:17.the system for the new franchise. But it is a good start for the

:58:29. > :58:34.play Leinster. Leinster, is it a good time for the Scarlets to play

:58:44. > :58:51.There is a renewed energy in some of the regions, there is a fresh

:59:15. > :59:15.

:59:15. > :59:19.Yes, it is getting players back for the latter stages. But if you want

:59:19. > :59:25.to be in the running at the end of the season, you have got to go to

:59:25. > :59:32.these places. You have got to tough it out. It is not a great place to
