:00:17. > :00:30.Will he eventually go? How much of an affected the issue affect things

:00:31. > :00:35.tonight? Nothing at all. Will they continue their best ever run? Real

:00:36. > :00:39.pressure on the Dragons. Phil John gets there.

:00:40. > :00:47.Can the rest started to climb the table? Lament goes over in the

:00:48. > :00:53.corner. Will we ever see their like again? Will his feet ever touched

:00:54. > :00:57.the ground? And will wreck ask the killer question? Red or brown?

:00:58. > :01:00.Brown. Another packed programme. Beth

:01:01. > :01:09.Clement has the Premiership details. Martyn Williams and Jonathan Thomas

:01:10. > :01:12.make up a fearsome looking back row But we'll begin with the Friday

:01:13. > :01:30.night derby, between the Scarlets Top of the table and a 100% record

:01:31. > :01:35.for the coach with a new Scala 's contract, Wayne Pivac, he rang the

:01:36. > :01:40.changes. Jacob Cowley join his stand in their third match day. Two wins,

:01:41. > :01:49.the Dragons had taboo Falatau back to boost their chances.

:01:50. > :02:00.A great break. Looks full support. Dragged down eventually by Charlie

:02:01. > :02:06.Davies. Edwards. They are not want to give away the ball in a quick

:02:07. > :02:11.phase. Trying to get his hands off it. A great break. It has slowed

:02:12. > :02:19.down. The defences has reformed. A good run by Jake Ball. He takes on a

:02:20. > :02:21.couple of defenders. The long pass. Back to James Davies. Over the try

:02:22. > :02:50.line. Williams is there as well. Parks.

:02:51. > :03:00.Thomas as well. It is still going for the Scarlet. Red shirts around

:03:01. > :03:02.him. Good juggling skills. Thomas, real pressure on the Dragons at the

:03:03. > :03:17.try line. Phil John gets there. Garlic is building the pressure up

:03:18. > :03:27.again. Jake Ball looks hungry this evening. He has put himself about.

:03:28. > :03:32.Carrying it well. It almost worked perfectly, they knew exactly what

:03:33. > :03:36.was going on. The two centres were handing that one down.

:03:37. > :03:46.Good take by Davies. Tried to get in. It bounced! It bounces

:03:47. > :03:52.beautifully into his hands. From nothing at all, the Dragons get a

:03:53. > :04:00.tie just before half-time. -- get a try. That is brilliant from Aled

:04:01. > :04:09.Davies. King is in a bit of space. Advantage being played for the high

:04:10. > :04:14.tackle. Hadleigh Parkes stands his ground at makes it available. Davies

:04:15. > :04:17.under pressure. Quickly taken by John Barclay. A good tackle. Back by

:04:18. > :04:35.ten metres. A high tackle against you, penalty

:04:36. > :04:39.only. He takes it quick, you are never back ten or anywhere close to

:04:40. > :04:44.it. Nowhere near. I am giving you a yellow card.

:04:45. > :04:51.A bit of defending to do for the Dragons with Adam Hughes in the bin.

:04:52. > :04:58.This will be tough, a long ten minutes for the Dragons. They

:04:59. > :05:04.haven't panicked, they haven't panicked. Hadleigh Parkes joins Phil

:05:05. > :05:09.John. As the try line comes nearer. No way Phil John is giving the ball

:05:10. > :05:14.away. He goes one way and then the other and he turns. Phil Jones has a

:05:15. > :05:21.couple for the evening and it is the Scarlet' third.

:05:22. > :05:33.James Davies again. The line-out is working like a dream tonight, they

:05:34. > :05:34.haven't lost a single one. INAUDIBLE Phil John with a double. Davies

:05:35. > :05:44.looking for the same. The back door screeches as James

:05:45. > :05:51.Davies is still in control as the Scarlet 's are getting ever nearer.

:05:52. > :05:52.Have they got there again? Yes, another driving line-out and this

:05:53. > :06:02.time it is James Davies. Here is a big moment. Jacob Cowley

:06:03. > :06:06.on the field. The 19-year-old. For the first time, father and son

:06:07. > :06:16.combination. Regan King and his son, Jacob Cowley.

:06:17. > :06:24.Hill in the movement for the third time as they built towards the try

:06:25. > :06:29.line. Pretorius is over. That is very well worked by the Dragons.

:06:30. > :06:35.Pleasing to get the bonus point. It is what we are searching for. We

:06:36. > :06:38.worked on the areas. And the line-out is improving. Stopping

:06:39. > :06:42.their drive is important. We talked about late changes, we were

:06:43. > :06:46.scrumming very welcome a set piece is a big improvement but still

:06:47. > :06:52.plenty to work on. Some points left out on the field. We need to know

:06:53. > :06:56.how to play our game, that is not another cliche. That closures or

:06:57. > :07:02.commentators talk about, it is about accuracy. If we can play accurately,

:07:03. > :07:06.as we should as a professional outfit more pressure on the

:07:07. > :07:11.opposition. We can't do that at the moment. We are still trying to

:07:12. > :07:14.develop, as I said. Lots of good in our game tonight but unfortunately a

:07:15. > :07:16.lot of basics were amiss. We will not get anywhere unless we tighten

:07:17. > :07:19.up our game. The Scarlets' pre-season ambition

:07:20. > :07:22.was to be in the top four by the They have far exceeded that. Top of

:07:23. > :07:28.the table. They're top of the league

:07:29. > :07:35.and six from six, just how It has been excellent, we spoke

:07:36. > :07:41.about it a few weeks ago. The culture that he is creating, you

:07:42. > :07:46.just feel that when teams start winning it breeds confidence and

:07:47. > :07:52.that breeds skill. The wit they played, that comes from confidence.

:07:53. > :07:56.When you start going on a winning run of games, as a team you feel

:07:57. > :07:59.indestructible. In the dying minutes, you think we will win this,

:08:00. > :08:03.because it is the indestructible feeling. They will be a dangerous

:08:04. > :08:06.team for the remainder of the season. One man feeling

:08:07. > :08:13.indestructible after his second man of the match award in two weeks and

:08:14. > :08:17.he won four last season. James Davies, you like to sing his praises

:08:18. > :08:21.and he was spectacular. He was. When Wayne Pivac was quick to knock him

:08:22. > :08:26.down at the end of the game. We are giving him too many man of the match

:08:27. > :08:30.awards but he was outstanding. Following on from where he was last

:08:31. > :08:35.year. The style that Scarlets are playing, a lot of them would have

:08:36. > :08:39.gone around the corner and followed the ball but with Stephen Jones'

:08:40. > :08:44.influence, he keeps his width and goes out to wider spaces. A

:08:45. > :08:47.fantastic carry. Jake Ball could have at man of the match.

:08:48. > :08:55.A great pass. He goes on the inside run and finishes off. This is what

:08:56. > :09:02.really impresses me, a big accolade to put on him. He is not the biggest

:09:03. > :09:06.of guys, but so dynamic and quick. A burst of speed and first ten yards

:09:07. > :09:10.he is away. He doesn't dive with the ball, he looks Bobby off-loads. He

:09:11. > :09:15.sets up the second try, one of the season -- he for the. People

:09:16. > :09:20.question how big he is, but he is superb in the tackle area. Great

:09:21. > :09:25.centre of gravity and he wins it for the Scarlet Scarlets. He is leading

:09:26. > :09:29.the carry stats for the Scarlet and tackle stats, that is unique.

:09:30. > :09:40.He needs to keep on doing what he is doing. You mentioned his size. The

:09:41. > :09:45.mother dimensions to Michael Hinckley, maybe less so Warburton or

:09:46. > :09:47.Richie McCaw -- similar dimensions. Is this a hindrance to his

:09:48. > :09:48.international ambitions? Cynics have suggested he's too small

:09:49. > :09:55.to play international rugby, but if you're good enough you

:09:56. > :09:58.are big enough? You never know that until he has

:09:59. > :10:08.played ten or 15 games for Wales. A low centre of gravity is sometimes

:10:09. > :10:14.better for being in that position, getting low on the ball. The

:10:15. > :10:19.unfortunate thing is how many good sevens that are in Wales at the

:10:20. > :10:20.moment. Particular war button. -- particularly war

:10:21. > :10:27.. Sometimes you need someone to get injured to get his chance but he

:10:28. > :10:32.needs to keep doing what it does. Can he be a test player?

:10:33. > :10:38.Technically. JT hit the nail on the Ed. Not to beat about bush, two

:10:39. > :10:41.world-class people in front of him. It will be difficult but carry on

:10:42. > :10:45.and you never know what is around the corner. He is doing well.

:10:46. > :10:47.While we were on air watching the Scarlets beat the Dragons,

:10:48. > :10:50.there was another Pro12 cracker going on across the Irish Sea.

:10:51. > :10:55.It was an all-Irish affair as Munster took on Ulster.

:10:56. > :11:02.It was the night of the living red on Halloween weekend, a third plate

:11:03. > :11:05.fifth. It took Ulster only two minutes for Craig Gilroy to trick

:11:06. > :11:06.the away supporters with this long-range gallop to open the

:11:07. > :11:17.scoring. WHISTLE Munster hits back at quarter of an

:11:18. > :11:24.hour later. A back row barn door. Andrew Conway the eventual

:11:25. > :11:27.beneficiary. The first half continued to seesaw up and down as

:11:28. > :11:35.Ulster used their big bears to telling effect. Gilroy had a walk-in

:11:36. > :11:36.for a second. Cue a Munster response. They went up the other

:11:37. > :11:49.end. Munster extended their lead further

:11:50. > :11:53.when their wing went careering down the wing like he was late for a hot

:11:54. > :11:58.date. For the home side's third try and stop Nick Williams made it a

:11:59. > :12:02.sixth try in the first half with one just before the interval but

:12:03. > :12:03.Munster's bonus point came on the hour, straight out of the Gaelic

:12:04. > :12:13.football manual. A fifth followed for Munster. An

:12:14. > :12:20.impressive bit of goal handling which took his side over the 30

:12:21. > :12:23.points mark. Totally unbowed, Ulster completed a thigh slap of a match

:12:24. > :12:29.with their fourth try. Two waypoints to them. STUDIO: Absolute belter.

:12:30. > :12:31.We're going to change the subject now, because

:12:32. > :12:36.Taulupe Faletau has been at the centre of much debate this week.

:12:37. > :12:42.Before we chat, let's remind ourselves of the latest.

:12:43. > :12:49.Would he stay or would he go? We found out on Tuesday. Taulupe

:12:50. > :12:54.Faletau's possible move away from the Dragons has been blocked. The

:12:55. > :12:59.Wales and Lions number eight seemed intent on a move to Bath. But as he

:13:00. > :13:05.was still under contract at the Dragons, the decision on whether to

:13:06. > :13:08.release him lay with the WRU and ultimately with Warren Gatland. He

:13:09. > :13:12.is naturally disappointed that we did not have the outcome we wanted.

:13:13. > :13:16.There was plenty of discussion and mature debate.

:13:17. > :13:22.The RSA, the rugby services agreement was at the centre of it in

:13:23. > :13:25.providing for what needed to be concerned at arriving at that

:13:26. > :13:30.decision. It meant Taulupe Faletau was back in a Dragons Dursley on

:13:31. > :13:35.Friday for the derby against Scarlet 's. It was neither galvanising nor

:13:36. > :13:40.according to his head coach a disruptive one. How much of an

:13:41. > :13:43.affected beta loopy Falatau issue that has been going on in the last

:13:44. > :13:51.week affect things? -- Taulupe Faletau issue. Nothing at all, zero,

:13:52. > :13:54.no affect at all. It was losing Lewis Evans as captain that had an

:13:55. > :13:59.effect. And the flanker on Thursday morning that was a big influence.

:14:00. > :14:03.Whether Taulupe was staying going to Bath, nothing there.

:14:04. > :14:10.We would love to see him stay with us. Money will talk. It is his

:14:11. > :14:14.future, he wants to go where it is most appropriate. He is one of the

:14:15. > :14:19.best players. He will be for a number of years, I guess. As a

:14:20. > :14:22.Dragons fan, I would love him to stay. He will be staying for the

:14:23. > :14:29.next seven months but then the decision to leave will be entirely

:14:30. > :14:34.his own. What then? If the contracts will be revisited, we certainly want

:14:35. > :14:38.to be adding to that. Can he be persuaded to remain in Wales or will

:14:39. > :15:14.the new oil of greater riches and potentially greater Glory be to much

:15:15. > :15:18.to resist? The lower of Bath, champions cup rugby, the facilities

:15:19. > :15:26.at Bath, the financial incentives at Bath, maybe that is where he wants

:15:27. > :15:31.to go, I don't know. The suggestion is that he is unhappy but may be

:15:32. > :15:35.frustrated is the wrong word. Should we feel sympathy for a player who

:15:36. > :15:41.has expressed a desire to move and been vetoed or has he just got to

:15:42. > :15:47.get on with it? We both know him and he is a really humble, quiet guy and

:15:48. > :15:50.he loves playing rugby so out of anybody that would be in this

:15:51. > :15:55.situation, you will get his head down and whatever happens to him,

:15:56. > :16:00.whatever situation he is in, he will do his best. You have got a feel for

:16:01. > :16:04.the player. No one will hate this situation more than him. All this

:16:05. > :16:10.speculation, he is a quiet guy, he will not like it. It is not great

:16:11. > :16:15.for the Dragons either. You just hope it comes to an end soon. He has

:16:16. > :16:19.never searched for the limelight. Let's get back to the action and the

:16:20. > :16:30.Blues, after four defeats on the road, were hoping to reignite this

:16:31. > :16:33.season with a trip to Parma. Josh Navidi switched back to number eight

:16:34. > :16:45.as he made his 100th appearance for the Blues. Tom James was back on the

:16:46. > :16:48.left wing. The host name and unchanged pack from the side that

:16:49. > :16:56.beat Edinburgh. Luke Burgess returned at scrum half. Luke Burgess

:16:57. > :17:13.away from the base by Zebre. They are over for the first try for

:17:14. > :17:21.Zebre. How beautifully worked was that? The Blues looking to strike

:17:22. > :17:27.back straightaway. Important they do. That is the line of Zebre in the

:17:28. > :17:33.background. Dan Fish. Rhys Patchell. That is a laser of a pass

:17:34. > :17:39.out to Adam Thomas. Can he stretch, the centre? He is over for an

:17:40. > :17:41.equalising try for the Blues, made by Rhys Patchell. The Blues getting

:17:42. > :17:51.a bit of possession now. Tavis Knoyle. And a Horlicks made of it in

:17:52. > :17:57.midfield. It is picked up by the Centre. Over half way he goes. Dan

:17:58. > :18:08.Fish hauls him down but quick ball would be handy for Zebre. The try is

:18:09. > :18:14.there. The number eight. It was a mistake by the Blues.

:18:15. > :18:37.Burgess. Just collared. A little dink and tear from the ten. Miles of

:18:38. > :18:43.space. Nobody back for the Blues. And it was just a pick-up put down.

:18:44. > :19:03.Collared on ten metres but Berryman does well. And looking to attack the

:19:04. > :19:08.short side again. More points for him. Or did Lloyd Williams just

:19:09. > :19:18.getting with the tackle? A smother tackle from Williams. No drive.

:19:19. > :19:28.Sevres on the rampage, looking for the bonus point. Living dangerously

:19:29. > :19:35.behind their own line. In tent to have a runout with it though. Tom

:19:36. > :19:47.Isaacs. He gets up to the 22. Lloyd Williams. Dan Fish. Still a long way

:19:48. > :19:54.to go as he evades the first tackle. Lloyd Williams. I little snipe from

:19:55. > :20:00.the scrum half. He has got only one defender and it is Tom James with

:20:01. > :20:01.him. It will be a stroll in for him, back after injury, the Welsh

:20:02. > :20:17.international. Even the PA man if sorting Zebre to

:20:18. > :20:21.go for the posts. -- points. No drive on as yet but there is a fair

:20:22. > :20:24.bit of weight there now. 12 men in the maul. They get the tried and the

:20:25. > :20:35.bonus point for Zebre. Diabolical and embarrassing with the

:20:36. > :20:39.words of Danny Cowley to describe the team's performance against

:20:40. > :20:44.Zebre. But Italy shambolic was the defence in the first half. Was that

:20:45. > :20:48.the system or just individuals not making the tackles? It is

:20:49. > :20:52.disappointing because I have watched the Blues a fair bit and they have

:20:53. > :20:58.had a really tough fixture list, playing away from home. Even though

:20:59. > :21:04.they have not won, they have gone to difficult places and performed

:21:05. > :21:08.admirably. If you look at this clip, there are five Blues defenders

:21:09. > :21:14.against just the outside-half. It is just a lack of wit in defence. The

:21:15. > :21:20.nine's run pretty much takes up four defenders. That is the opening few

:21:21. > :21:30.minutes of the game. This is the second try. 25 metres out. There is

:21:31. > :21:34.no real threat from Zebre. It is a passive missed tackle. You have got

:21:35. > :21:40.to give Zebre credit because of the width they have in attack. But three

:21:41. > :21:46.defenders to narrow, not scanning, and too many forwards standing

:21:47. > :21:50.around the wreck. Good interplay. Not a dry, who early because of

:21:51. > :21:57.great urgency and defence by Lloyd Williams. If you are Danny Wilson,

:21:58. > :22:01.you have come in and you are trying to coach structures in attack and

:22:02. > :22:05.defence, the thing you don't want to be talking about is showing attitude

:22:06. > :22:11.and effort. They are almost non-negotiable is. What has happened

:22:12. > :22:15.at the Blues, looking at it from the outside, they have been going to

:22:16. > :22:22.Connacht, Munster and Ulster in fear, so they are on the edge

:22:23. > :22:26.mentally, but they beat Zebre easily a few months ago so they thought it

:22:27. > :22:32.was going to be a walk in the park. They are not good enough at the

:22:33. > :22:35.moment. The last three or four years, they have got this habit of

:22:36. > :22:41.losing. They have got a tough one against Glasgow next week.

:22:42. > :22:47.Speculation that the likes of Luke Charteris, Leigh Halfpenny, Taulupe

:22:48. > :22:52.Faletau are targets for the Blues. Yesterday, after six weeks of high

:22:53. > :23:00.passion and drama, the World Cup finally came to a fitting finale.

:23:01. > :23:05.New Zealand retained the Webb Ellis trophy and confirmed their status as

:23:06. > :23:08.the best team in the world. Australia taking on defending

:23:09. > :23:13.champions New Zealand, who were attempting to be the first team to

:23:14. > :23:20.retain the Webb Ellis cup. And it was the All Blacks who reigned

:23:21. > :23:29.supreme, winning 34-17. 19 boots -- points from the boot of Man of the

:23:30. > :23:33.Match and Carter. Beauden Barrett is going to score the winning try of

:23:34. > :23:38.the World Cup. With a history making win for the All Blacks, Dan Carter

:23:39. > :23:42.was given a fitting sendoff but for one young Kiwi fan, it was going to

:23:43. > :23:49.be an unforgettable night. Sonny Bill Williams giving him his medal.

:23:50. > :23:52.To come out on top like this in the pinnacle of international rugby, it

:23:53. > :23:55.is what every player wants to be a part of and achieve, to be standing

:23:56. > :24:01.here having done that is very pleasing. I am so proud to be a part

:24:02. > :24:05.of such a special group of players. Australia made a real fist of it

:24:06. > :24:09.coming back from 20 - three down. But as has been the case from the

:24:10. > :24:14.tournament, the All Blacks had far too much class. Deserving winners I

:24:15. > :24:20.think. I have got so much admiration for the All Blacks. If you take the

:24:21. > :24:24.semifinal and the quarterfinal, against France, who were not the

:24:25. > :24:29.greatest, but they played rugby from the gods. Some of the tries they

:24:30. > :24:33.scored were brilliant. A week later when they have got to go toe to toe

:24:34. > :24:39.with South Africa in the rain, they knuckle down and do it. I am so glad

:24:40. > :24:45.they won. Brilliant for Steve Hansen who coached us for many years. To

:24:46. > :24:51.back it up. Four years ago it would have been easy to take their foot

:24:52. > :24:57.off the gas. Fully deserved. Daniel Carter, a fitting ending for him. He

:24:58. > :25:01.was outstanding. You can't buy experience. The All Blacks note that

:25:02. > :25:08.they needed the likes of him, Richie McCaw, Ma'a Nonu. There has been

:25:09. > :25:12.times over the last two years with Dan Carter has not been great but

:25:13. > :25:18.they have stuck by him because Cumberbatch ten minutes of a World

:25:19. > :25:23.Cup final, you need that to win. -- come the last ten minutes. The All

:25:24. > :25:29.Blacks have lost three games in four years and when those guys speak, how

:25:30. > :25:34.humble are they? Steve Hansen is massive on culture. Those guys play

:25:35. > :25:37.for each other. There is no one bigger than the team and they are

:25:38. > :25:48.credit to themselves and their country. Sonny Bill Williams, a

:25:49. > :25:52.fantastic gesture. A young boy ran out of the crowd, he was tackled by

:25:53. > :25:59.an overzealous security guard, and Sonny Bill Williams gives him his

:26:00. > :26:04.winner's medal. What a gesture. It is a big part of what the All Blacks

:26:05. > :26:11.are about. They have gone around the country and made a lot of friends.

:26:12. > :26:17.The security guard was lucky Sonny Bill Williams did not give him a

:26:18. > :26:23.hammering. But a great gesture. It is OK to give your World Cup medal

:26:24. > :26:26.away if you have got two. On more serious matters, Richie McCaw

:26:27. > :26:32.referenced it yesterday, he did not want to rest on his laurels from

:26:33. > :26:36.four years ago so New Zealand have changed, evolved and improved. They

:26:37. > :26:43.have only lost three times in that period. What do Wales need to do? We

:26:44. > :26:46.are the beginning of a 4 year cycle, 2019 in Japan, to improve so

:26:47. > :26:52.they are genuine contenders next time around? I am short Warren

:26:53. > :26:55.Gatland and his management team are going through that, reviewing

:26:56. > :27:00.everything, how they want to approach the next four years. I am

:27:01. > :27:05.sure they will talk about Shaun Edwards, the dynamic of it, Warren

:27:06. > :27:10.Gatland has got a rigid game plan which has been relatively successful

:27:11. > :27:15.for us. He has got to think about, does he evolve that? Part of that

:27:16. > :27:20.evolution is, do you bring in potentially more creative players? I

:27:21. > :27:24.think Jamie plays 12, do you try to evolve Jamie in the way Ma'a Nonu

:27:25. > :27:30.has involved wiki becomes a distributor? Or do you bring in the

:27:31. > :27:34.likes of Justin Tipuric or Ross Moriarty, these guys who offer a

:27:35. > :27:38.little bit more in attack? And do you involve the game plan? Our game

:27:39. > :27:44.plan has been successful for us but I need -- think we need to think

:27:45. > :27:50.about how we score more tries. When you look at that England side from

:27:51. > :27:54.1999 - 2003, pretty much a mirror image of us at the moment. The best

:27:55. > :27:58.team in the northern hemisphere but Clive Woodward realised they needed

:27:59. > :28:03.to score more tries. They started to take quick tabs around the halfway,

:28:04. > :28:06.started playing with more width and they evolve. I think Warren will be

:28:07. > :28:13.going through that process at the moment. Can they change? Is this the

:28:14. > :28:17.time to start to change? I think the template for Wales is Argentina. Two

:28:18. > :28:22.or three years ago, you knew what you were going to get. They have had

:28:23. > :28:26.two years in the Redbridge in chip and they realise they are not going

:28:27. > :28:30.to beat the top teams by doing that so they have revolutionised how

:28:31. > :28:36.Argentina played a game. There is no doubt we have got the talent, all

:28:37. > :28:42.the northern hemisphere teams. It is just having the belief and the

:28:43. > :28:46.confidence from the word go. No rugby in the lower leagues this

:28:47. > :28:50.weekend because of the World Cup but a full round-up of Premier ship

:28:51. > :28:54.action. We begin with Pontypridd against Ebbw Vale and we sent Rick

:28:55. > :29:01.O'Shea to catch up with the head coach, Nigel Davies.

:29:02. > :29:08.Nigel Davies has played and coached at the highest level of the game. He

:29:09. > :29:11.was last seen in Wales at the Scarlets before going

:29:12. > :29:15.across-the-board to Gloucester to become the director of rugby. He is

:29:16. > :29:19.now back in Wales in Ebbw Vale, taking up a new challenge as the

:29:20. > :29:26.coach of the steelmen. And he is in that cafe.

:29:27. > :29:34.There is not many roles in rugby that you have not fulfilled. Which

:29:35. > :29:39.did you enjoy most? I enjoyed it all. I still like to think I have a

:29:40. > :29:43.long way to go. It has been fantastic. Rugby has been my life

:29:44. > :29:48.and having understood the game, the professional game in Wales and in

:29:49. > :29:51.England, I thought it was really important to understand the

:29:52. > :29:56.Premiership game in Wales as well, the semiprofessional game. I thought

:29:57. > :29:59.I understood it and I do now. For someone on the outside, they will

:30:00. > :30:03.look at the trajectory that has brought you to Ebbw Vale, that is a

:30:04. > :30:09.downward trajectory but do you say this is part of a bigger plan? The

:30:10. > :30:12.opportunity to come to a side like Ebbw Vale and get back involved in

:30:13. > :30:14.rugby and on the training pitch was too good to pass up and I am really

:30:15. > :30:24.enjoying the experience. It doesn't come much bigger than an

:30:25. > :30:29.away trip to Sardis Road. It is a big game for us, always one or two

:30:30. > :30:35.teams consistently good. Pontypridd is that team. Certainly, the players

:30:36. > :30:38.have been hype hyped up this week. We need to be our best. I am sure we

:30:39. > :30:43.will be, we have had a good week We need to be our best. I am sure we

:30:44. > :30:48.training. I am looking forward to it, it is a good challenge.

:30:49. > :30:56.Last season was fantastic. Blatter pushed and pushed. Having someone

:30:57. > :30:57.developed that further is a fantastic achievement. -- Back To

:30:58. > :31:08.The . We can see what Nigel is bringing

:31:09. > :31:13.to the table. A huge amount of knowledge and experience. And a

:31:14. > :31:15.level of calmness when things haven't gone quite well, which is

:31:16. > :31:29.great. It is a fantastic club with a rich

:31:30. > :31:32.tradition. It is a community club and it is run very well and they

:31:33. > :31:39.have ambition to succeed and be successful and develop rugby

:31:40. > :31:47.players. It is going to take work but we will develop more with it.

:31:48. > :31:49.The -- Moorside we play are better but we will improve and we will be

:31:50. > :32:10.at the top at the end of the season. To come here is a big statement from

:32:11. > :32:15.this group of players. They are a good side. We can achieve a lot. We

:32:16. > :32:18.are a still a work in progress with new coach and players. We want to

:32:19. > :32:23.move things in a good direction, chasing the rugby. We left a future

:32:24. > :32:28.rise out there, we deserved that, we were the better team today and it

:32:29. > :32:30.was a good win for us. Congratulations to Ebbw Vale.

:32:31. > :32:33.So, let's wrap up the other games, and we start at the

:32:34. > :32:37.Talbot Athletic Ground, as Aberavon welcomed Llanelli.

:32:38. > :32:46.After Pontypridd's lost to Ebbw Vale, Aberavon kept the pressure up

:32:47. > :32:52.with a sixth try demolition. Phillips scoring his third try in as

:32:53. > :32:55.many weeks. 14-14 at half-time, the Wizards scored a further four before

:32:56. > :32:59.Jordan Williams got his second in this match.

:33:00. > :33:07.In what was Cardiff's first home match of the season, Newport Gwent

:33:08. > :33:11.took control, with two tries helping the Black and Ambers to a 22-at

:33:12. > :33:15.half-time lead but the blue and Blacks stormed back in the second

:33:16. > :33:17.half, three tries in 11 minutes which saw the home team to get bonus

:33:18. > :33:26.point win. Last season, the double was done

:33:27. > :33:31.over Bridgend but this time the ravens came out on top as they

:33:32. > :33:37.enjoyed their first win -- third win on the trot. Two first half tries

:33:38. > :33:39.gave them a 16-0 lead at the break. Although two second-half tries were

:33:40. > :33:44.scored of their own, they could not rescue the draw.

:33:45. > :33:50.Six wins and a draw in their last seven matches for Cross Keys as they

:33:51. > :33:54.secured the points in a hard-fought and entertaining game.

:33:55. > :34:00.All of the tries were in the first half. They led 16-8 at the break but

:34:01. > :34:11.their efforts went unrewarded. Still no windfall what placed club

:34:12. > :34:17.who were away on Friday. The visitors took an early lead, they

:34:18. > :34:22.dominated the set pieces and the Welsh All Blacks conceded three

:34:23. > :34:27.tries by half-time. They could not manage to cross for their fourth,

:34:28. > :34:31.for that bonus point. They were temporarily moved to second but

:34:32. > :34:39.dropped back to fourth with Pontypridd losing. Cross Keys with

:34:40. > :34:44.and within touching distance of the top.

:34:45. > :34:50.Yesterday he refereed the Rugby World Cup final but Nigel Owens is

:34:51. > :34:51.set to face his toughest challenge yet. Next Saturday he will be the

:34:52. > :34:54.man in charge. Division one, west. Scrum V cameras

:34:55. > :35:01.will be there to see how he gets back to earth with a bump. Good luck

:35:02. > :35:05.with that one. Let's finish our Pro 12 round-up

:35:06. > :35:09.with Glasgow v Ospreys. Before they travelled up to

:35:10. > :35:11.Scotstoun, we caught up with their former All-Black scrum-half,

:35:12. > :35:18.Brendan Leonard. Half-time in Australia and former

:35:19. > :35:23.All Black Brendon Leonard took time out of training to help with some

:35:24. > :35:31.wannabe Ospreys. Ten metres. Start standing still. Make sure you stay

:35:32. > :35:36.over the ball. The New Zealander arrived in the summer but his new

:35:37. > :35:41.team has struggled to find form. Losing four out of their five

:35:42. > :35:46.opening games. In the preseason and before the games, we trained well.

:35:47. > :35:53.It has not quite transferred to the field. I am sure it is a number of

:35:54. > :35:56.little things that it has been frustrating for everyone. Hopefully

:35:57. > :36:03.we are over the hump. We want to keep building on from now. It is all

:36:04. > :36:06.about the art of the box-kick. The drop of the ball and the body

:36:07. > :36:12.position is important. Don't drop the ball here. You need to try to

:36:13. > :36:17.swing our leg around and it could go straight up and too much. We wanted

:36:18. > :36:25.to be in front of our body. A number of World Cup stars returned

:36:26. > :36:28.to regional duty this week and that impact was felt immediately.

:36:29. > :36:38.As soon as they came back in, the training standard lifted another

:36:39. > :36:39.notch. The younger boys feed off things the older fellows do, coming

:36:40. > :36:49.back from the Welsh team. We can put a good performance on the

:36:50. > :36:55.field on Sunday. Remember, nice and up and down, making contact at the

:36:56. > :37:03.bottom point. Nice and high so the wingers can contest for the ball.

:37:04. > :37:09.With just one win in five this season, the Ospreys welcomed back

:37:10. > :37:13.Dan Biggar and Dan Lydiate to the starting 15 as well as Alun Wyn

:37:14. > :37:17.Jones on the bench. Glasgow have only lost once in their last 12

:37:18. > :37:20.matches also had international players back as they were aiming to

:37:21. > :37:24.get their title the fence back on track.

:37:25. > :37:28.COMMENTATOR: The Osprey forwards pile in.

:37:29. > :37:42.Offside advantage. WHISTLE Kick to nothing from the Ospreys,

:37:43. > :37:46.they knew that. A chance for them here he comes to get the Ospreys

:37:47. > :37:54.back on level terms. He struck it beautifully. Sam Baker, did we need

:37:55. > :38:00.to doubt him? Not at all. That is the Osprey try line in the distance.

:38:01. > :38:10.Phase after phase. Wave after wave of attacking options. The try has

:38:11. > :38:15.come in the end. Laments over in the corner. Orchestrating things,

:38:16. > :38:21.letting the forwards take responsibility. This is effective

:38:22. > :38:27.from the home side. Great defence, but they are getting closer and

:38:28. > :38:31.closer. Another yard closer. The Ospreys piling into the tackle area

:38:32. > :38:36.and it had to come. The try is under the posts.

:38:37. > :38:40.The pass was wayward. He has a second chance, it did not go

:38:41. > :38:50.forward. There is an advantage. The Ospreys

:38:51. > :38:56.are under the cosh. It is all falling apart, a bit. Peter Horne

:38:57. > :39:03.breaking the Osprey defensive line-up. A second card. The Ospreys

:39:04. > :39:05.will be down to 13. Ryan Bevington has only just come on the field and

:39:06. > :39:21.the Ospreys will be two men short. He slips out of the tackle. Good

:39:22. > :39:29.off-load. One other pass would have done it. They have to get there. You

:39:30. > :39:33.would think. The Ospreys trying to battle to keep out Glasgow.

:39:34. > :39:42.Alun Wyn Jones on the side. They are all but through. Not quite, 1 more

:39:43. > :39:53.surge would probably do it. This time it is a try.

:39:54. > :40:08.Walker can shift. Nice to step back off his left leg. Ospreys have a

:40:09. > :40:12.chance. Dan Biggar could be in, but he is not held and Baker scores.

:40:13. > :40:20.Some respite, some joy for the Ospreys.

:40:21. > :40:26.Tipuric special coming up, that is what is needed. It is there for the

:40:27. > :40:32.scrum-half. They are over for the try! It is the Fijian who has had

:40:33. > :40:41.the bonus point. To get nothing out of this game, it

:40:42. > :40:45.has cost us. If you look at them, they have done it good possession

:40:46. > :40:49.and territory and finished up dominating the scoreboard. We need

:40:50. > :40:55.to dust ourselves off and try and get better for next week leading

:40:56. > :40:59.into Zebre and inter-European rugby. -- and into European.

:41:00. > :41:05.Connacht moved up to second. O'Hara and with the only try in their 14-9

:41:06. > :41:18.win over Edinburgh. Leinster are looking likely again.

:41:19. > :41:24.They enjoyed a 27-3 bonus point try against Treviso. The Scarlet 's have

:41:25. > :41:27.to travel to Dublin. Five live game on the radio.

:41:28. > :41:29.Here's the table then after six rounds of action,

:41:30. > :41:33.Six from six, and the only undefeated side in the league.

:41:34. > :41:35.Connacht though, are hot on their heels, with Munster and

:41:36. > :41:40.But the foot of the table doesn't make pretty

:41:41. > :41:52.Both are beneath Zebre, the Ospreys are way down in eleventh

:41:53. > :41:56.Things just don't seem to be going their way.

:41:57. > :42:06.it, two yellow cards. 15 points scored with two in the bin. They

:42:07. > :42:10.were a far better team in fairness. Dan Biggar with his goal-kicking

:42:11. > :42:16.kept the Ospreys in, in the first half and Glasgow played all the

:42:17. > :42:22.rugby. They are in a bit of a hole. Already 13 point adrift of fourth

:42:23. > :42:28.place. Desperate to see, second week in November. Must win game next

:42:29. > :42:31.week. They haven't moved up. They have already lost, as you pointed

:42:32. > :42:35.out earlier, as many games already this season as they did last

:42:36. > :42:38.season. They snuck into the play-offs last year, is it already

:42:39. > :42:44.the case they can't afford to drop another game? It comes to a point

:42:45. > :42:49.that for the rest of the season, you almost cup finals every week. I

:42:50. > :42:52.don't think you can afford to lose more than six or seven games,

:42:53. > :42:56.otherwise you struggle to get in the tub four. It becomes potentially

:42:57. > :43:02.difficult. They can turn it around, they played really well last

:43:03. > :43:05.season. Rest of the season, they need to draw a line in the sand of

:43:06. > :43:09.what has happened. Internationals away. They need to refocus and

:43:10. > :43:11.revisit the principles of the game and knuckle down and I am sure they

:43:12. > :43:12.will turn around. We'll leave you with some

:43:13. > :43:17.of the most memorable images The 2015 Rugby World Cup is

:43:18. > :43:29.underway. They will score! It's OK, buddy, chill out. It's all

:43:30. > :43:35.right. The chase is on for Gareth Davies.

:43:36. > :43:49.He picks it up and he's over! Barrett is going to kick over and

:43:50. > :43:52.collect the ball and score the winning try of the 2015 World Cup.
