:00:21. > :00:25.With the autumn series just six days away, Scrum V goes behind the
:00:25. > :00:31.scenes for an excuse to go into Wales' hard core of porridge
:00:31. > :00:37.training camp. That was a shock to the players' system. A hell of a
:00:37. > :00:44.wake-up call. Ice Chambers, quizzes and West a link. Not your usual
:00:44. > :00:49.training regime. It is my -- it is like nothing I have ever seen
:00:49. > :00:54.before. Welcome to Scrum V. My guests this evening, Martyn
:00:54. > :01:00.Williams and Jonathan Davies, will be assessing all the weekend's
:01:00. > :01:10.action. The Pumas have arrived. We will assess their throats dates arm.
:01:10. > :01:11.
:01:11. > :01:18.First, the Pro12 and yesterday's With 12 players away with Wales,
:01:18. > :01:24.the Scarlets have the chance to test the depth of their squad.
:01:24. > :01:34.Zebre were aiming to become the first Italian side to win against
:01:34. > :02:04.
:02:04. > :02:14.are put in one or two phases supper half full by a while. --
:02:14. > :02:14.
:02:14. > :02:57.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 43 seconds
:02:57. > :03:07.Zebre 22. Getting driven off it. It locked at giving Ciaran Murphy the
:03:07. > :03:43.
:03:43. > :03:53.chance to launch himself into the has been given. Against the run of
:03:53. > :04:28.
:04:28. > :04:35.lets. The Zebre building kicking I'm with any execution, accuracy,
:04:35. > :04:43.one would two and out of ten. At that, R Jim Ord 9 added ten. We did
:04:43. > :04:47.manage the game much better in the A fairly blunt and honest
:04:47. > :04:53.assessment. They got out of jail with that Kristian Phillips drug
:04:53. > :05:03.but at the end of the day, not a great advert for Pro12 rugby.
:05:03. > :05:04.
:05:04. > :05:14.summed it up. Rubbish again. These deals were Paul. -- a wish again.
:05:14. > :05:16.
:05:16. > :05:21.The skills were poor. Four points. With conditions as they were, just
:05:21. > :05:26.happy with the result. Martyn, 12 players missing. That is quite
:05:26. > :05:31.disruptive in terms of new competition, new players? Yes, it
:05:31. > :05:35.is always a precarious time of year, with the boys away at the autumn
:05:35. > :05:45.internationals. Boys of throw in en masse with different combinations,
:05:45. > :05:45.
:05:45. > :05:53.trying to find their feet. They did not quite clipped yesterday. They
:05:53. > :06:00.are still second in the league. They will kick it back up in a few
:06:00. > :06:05.weeks' time. A win at the end are but day.
:06:05. > :06:09.How do you fancy sitting in ice chamber in just your pants and
:06:09. > :06:13.socks? That is what the Wales team have been doing all week for their
:06:14. > :06:17.training ahead of the autumn internationals. They are in Poland
:06:17. > :06:27.and a cameras went along this weekend to take a peek Kwok they
:06:27. > :06:28.
:06:28. > :06:31.are getting up to. Whether it is raining in tries all
:06:31. > :06:36.pulling off the last minute try saying tackles, training is
:06:36. > :06:46.important. But achieving that level of fitness and success involves
:06:46. > :06:52.
:06:52. > :06:58.pain. A lot of pain. 6am, some zero temperatures, a typical day's fall
:06:58. > :07:07.be Wales team in the training camp in my place. This one in with a pot
:07:07. > :07:17.and is as different as they come. - - in the Madeira in Portland. The
:07:17. > :07:21.
:07:21. > :07:28.Olympic centre in Athlone will prove anything interesting.
:07:29. > :07:35.full breakfast. I am just watching back and taking charge here. You
:07:35. > :07:42.have Adam doing moments gears. It's non-stop all the time. This is just
:07:42. > :07:46.the first half hour. It is going to be any long though. It's a shock to
:07:46. > :07:53.the system, the hell of a wake-up call. Distance of achievement
:07:53. > :08:01.afterwards is great. They print the heart monitors on us and the heart
:08:01. > :08:06.rates are going through the roof. A necessary evil. It is about
:08:06. > :08:12.improving personal fitness levels but also proving personal points.
:08:12. > :08:17.Out on the rugby fields it is a battle for places at the autumn
:08:17. > :08:20.internationals and it is hotting up. But the spirit within the Welsh
:08:20. > :08:26.squad in the Polish Lee Camp is quite special, as they all share
:08:26. > :08:33.the pain bail going through. It is the ability of the players to focus
:08:33. > :08:38.on themselves. Getting the players up and running. Over the last six
:08:38. > :08:43.or seven weeks, they have come back here, four regions coming to go as
:08:43. > :08:48.one and the banter you get from being here 24/7, there is not much
:08:48. > :08:54.to do here so the team dynamics are so important it is the marginal
:08:54. > :09:01.gains get from that spot. But what debts are vital percentage points
:09:01. > :09:06.in terms of ability to perform are the but sessions spent in the
:09:06. > :09:12.dreaded ice chambers. The players spent them to three-and-a-half
:09:12. > :09:18.minutes in the tank, with temperatures down to an incredible
:09:18. > :09:23.minus 160 degrees. How does it actually work? You go into an
:09:23. > :09:27.extreme temperature. The body of weeks ago. The body wants to
:09:27. > :09:37.protect the vital organs son the blood brushes from Williams, which
:09:37. > :09:38.
:09:38. > :09:44.is really good for us because it is the parts that we use. The blood
:09:44. > :09:51.moves back once we get out. The brush of endorphins, inflammation
:09:51. > :09:56.gears, it is quite good. And with the Blair suitably dispersed, the
:09:56. > :10:00.body is ready to take on the really serious stuff. The afternoon
:10:00. > :10:10.session concentrates on the rugby side of things. Everything is done
:10:10. > :10:19.
:10:19. > :10:29.at an intensity that replicates the You are like Usain Bolt. Just like
:10:29. > :10:29.
:10:30. > :10:36.that, easy. It's it's something to do for those who cannot take start
:10:36. > :10:40.part in training. They have to work arm back for the whole training
:10:40. > :10:45.session. It is a really hard to keep that going for the three-
:10:45. > :10:50.quarters of an hour. Or maybe not quite because to end what has been
:10:50. > :10:54.a tough session, there is a repeated sprint session with
:10:54. > :11:00.players competing not just against the clock but against other players
:11:00. > :11:08.in the same position as than. benefits we get from it all is it
:11:08. > :11:12.does come on the field and it does show we keep going. We have made
:11:12. > :11:18.our bed and we have to lie in it now. I think we will be coming to
:11:18. > :11:23.Poland a lot more in the next few years. And bear it will make
:11:24. > :11:31.equally good use of excellent facilities in Spala. The rest of
:11:31. > :11:36.the afternoon is spent indoors to trust strength and stamina. Beck is
:11:36. > :11:40.even a peculiar version of strictly come wrestling. It is meant to be
:11:40. > :11:47.working in the tackle area. It is like nothing I have ever seen
:11:47. > :11:57.before. And after working up a real sweat, there is always a very
:11:57. > :11:59.
:11:59. > :12:04.special way to call off. -- cool off. With some counting down the
:12:04. > :12:08.number of freezing sessions to go, there are others who cannot wait to
:12:08. > :12:12.get back in. They have worked incredibly hard, and if there is
:12:12. > :12:20.any reward for effort they will get their wings in the autumn
:12:21. > :12:25.I do not really fancy that. It is plain to see from that how it
:12:25. > :12:32.intends it he's but what intrigues me is, what on earth do you get a
:12:32. > :12:39.two in the evenings? Not a lot. I spent three weeks at the last year.
:12:39. > :12:45.You are in the middle of nowhere. It is at a few concerts and. You
:12:45. > :12:50.have lovely food and hotel rooms normally but Spala is going back to
:12:50. > :12:56.the Eastern bloc. There is not a lot to do on the nights. They are
:12:56. > :13:00.tired to do anything. It helps the boys have come together and bond
:13:00. > :13:05.and it has certainly worked in the last 12 months. It has been evident.
:13:05. > :13:10.Looking ahead to the autumn. Argentina First and the team has
:13:10. > :13:15.been announced -- will be announced on Tuesday at 1pm. A few selection
:13:15. > :13:20.dilemmas. What are the biggest headaches? I think the main point
:13:20. > :13:25.is demanding but also it is mental toughness. With four games in the
:13:25. > :13:32.autumn, it will be a lot of mental toughness. Argentina is a tough
:13:32. > :13:35.first act. With the games for the World Cup to be announced in
:13:35. > :13:41.December, there is no chopping and changing. They will have to win as
:13:41. > :13:46.many games as they possibly can. The first two are may be the
:13:46. > :13:53.easiest two. Selection is the key. I think we got selection slightly
:13:54. > :13:58.wrong in Australia. I thought Wild were the best side collectively but
:13:58. > :14:07.we picked the wrong collection of players. I thought we should have
:14:07. > :14:12.won did one, not lost 3-0. Now the pressure is on for the autumn. If
:14:12. > :14:17.you are picking on four, Danny Baker is the form stand-off in
:14:17. > :14:24.Wales. He has played well for the regions but do they think he is
:14:24. > :14:32.going to fit into the style of rugby at Wales want to play? Jamie
:14:32. > :14:37.Roberts and Ashley becks, Sam Warburton. Selection is Deanne.
:14:37. > :14:43.I think over the last four years, a have been very loyal and they have
:14:43. > :14:49.a tried and tested way that has proved successful. Ultimately, they
:14:50. > :14:56.have a game plan and they stick to it and Jamie and some have come up
:14:57. > :15:04.a lot in the last few weeks. Sam has been named as captain so he has
:15:05. > :15:08.to start and Jamie is the go to man. When he plays well, Wales play well.
:15:08. > :15:16.The other boys are playing so well by adopting a lot of pressure on
:15:16. > :15:21.him. We have been lucky so far because of the boys played well for
:15:21. > :15:26.Wales and Wales is like a fig region now, but how long can that
:15:26. > :15:30.contain you? You have to play yourself into form before you play
:15:30. > :15:35.for Wales. It is difficult to turn up on the back of a training
:15:35. > :15:40.session and heat a switch and all of us up and perform. You have to
:15:40. > :15:48.go into some kind of form coming in to the test matches and also, how
:15:48. > :15:52.many games, have they played four games on the backs? At this
:15:52. > :15:57.intensity, up for a long, long time. This is going to be a massive
:15:57. > :16:02.autumn. Argentina have just come off the back. They have Australia
:16:02. > :16:06.and New Zealand so they are going to be very dangerous. First up. It
:16:06. > :16:10.is one of the toughest games. Especially as they are talking
:16:10. > :16:15.about at and George Deanne act. There is a couple of youngsters to
:16:15. > :16:20.it unless you have a platform against Argentina and Samoa, I
:16:20. > :16:30.think Paul James has been going exceptionally well and he has to
:16:30. > :16:37.
:16:37. > :16:41.Back to the Pro 12 and Friday-night games. The track and struggle to
:16:41. > :16:51.Glasgow, hoping to put his upon the behind them, and we start with the
:16:51. > :16:58.
:16:58. > :17:08.after last week's horror show in Dublin. The withdrawal of his
:17:08. > :17:08.
:17:08. > :18:12.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 43 seconds
:18:12. > :18:22.skipper before kick-off and the were looking for, from Dafydd
:18:22. > :18:22.
:18:22. > :19:24.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 43 seconds
:19:24. > :19:34.way! Again, it is an mist first to tackle that has cost the Blues. --
:19:34. > :19:34.
:19:34. > :19:44.a first tackle that was missed. Blues cannot drop their heads. They
:19:44. > :19:44.
:19:44. > :19:50.are still in this game. And a try has come for the Blues! Payback for
:19:50. > :20:00.Lewis Jones. It is a game of mistakes this evening. Both teams
:20:00. > :20:05.
:20:05. > :20:11.it has happened again, the tackle has been missed and it is going to
:20:11. > :20:17.cost the Blues Dierk again. They cannot believe it. They had come
:20:17. > :20:25.within three minutes and it looks as though Munster have got out of
:20:25. > :20:29.jail. Unfortunately, it was against the Blues, and I have fond memories.
:20:29. > :20:39.But we will have a few beers with the boys now so I am sure they will
:20:39. > :20:41.
:20:41. > :20:45.forget about it. It was contrasting fortunes on Friday. Gregor
:20:45. > :20:55.Townsend's men were looking to extend their pro12 winning run to
:20:55. > :20:55.
:20:55. > :22:07.Apology for the loss of subtitles for 43 seconds
:22:07. > :22:17.door and it is Tommy Seymour who polishes it off and a bonus point
:22:17. > :22:35.
:22:35. > :22:39.Seymour. It is about gaining momentum, that is what rugby is. We
:22:39. > :22:49.have lost that momentum and we have to turn up for work on Monday and
:22:49. > :22:51.
:22:51. > :22:56.If you look at the highlights, I feel that if you come up against a
:22:56. > :23:01.side that is better then you are you have to do the basics
:23:01. > :23:06.exceptionally well. The three tries for the Blues were missed tackles
:23:06. > :23:11.and they were in total control in the second half. For the Trident,
:23:11. > :23:19.last week, three mistakes, but again, it's simple mistakes which
:23:19. > :23:24.you have to cut out. You have to focus on doing basics well. Let us
:23:24. > :23:29.talk about the Blues, because they have had a bad week in terms of
:23:29. > :23:33.recovering from the monster defeat, which was a humiliation. Phil
:23:33. > :23:40.Davies asked for commitment but they were let down by a few
:23:40. > :23:45.defensive mistakes. It was a much better performance. You saw a young
:23:45. > :23:50.side and before the game I thought this could be a long night but in
:23:50. > :23:55.fairness to the young players, they fronted up. They played really well
:23:55. > :23:59.in the second half and controlled the game. But we have picked up a
:23:59. > :24:09.few instances and they would four key moments in the last few minutes
:24:09. > :24:15.
:24:15. > :24:21.But they've lost it. Here, just a bit of bad luck. They are in
:24:21. > :24:27.control in defence. It was called a knock-on and monster got a scrum.
:24:27. > :24:31.From this scrum is where pit it starts to go wrong. The Blues
:24:31. > :24:41.front-row have had a lot of stick their share but this is one scrum
:24:41. > :24:43.
:24:43. > :24:53.where they were totally dominant. Fair play to Peter Springer, he
:24:53. > :24:56.
:24:56. > :25:01.loved the referee into giving it to Munster. Carey misses the tackle.
:25:01. > :25:04.And then they are penalised a winner what happened from that.
:25:04. > :25:14.They missed the one on one tackle They missed the one on one tackle
:25:14. > :25:15.
:25:15. > :25:21.and lose the game. Plenty of positive, though. Dan fish had an
:25:21. > :25:26.exceptional gain. He helped the kicking game out for them. He reads
:25:26. > :25:31.the game very well and he has a chance in the next couple of weeks.
:25:31. > :25:36.We can talk politics now and the regions have been locked in talks
:25:36. > :25:43.since June about the possible restructuring of the regional game.
:25:43. > :25:46.Last month, Roger Lewis, the chief executive of the WRU, said he had
:25:46. > :25:52.offered the regions any system of central contracts which they had
:25:52. > :25:56.rejected. It is a system that it exists in other rugby countries
:25:56. > :26:00.throughout the world, and has been used in Ireland since the dawn of
:26:00. > :26:05.professional rugby. We took a trip across the Irish Sea to see how
:26:05. > :26:11.they do things there. One of the most pressing concerns facing the
:26:11. > :26:17.game in Wales is the access of our top stars across the French channel.
:26:17. > :26:22.It isolates them from the national side, weakens the regions, and we
:26:22. > :26:27.can speak Pro 12. Recent success in the Test arena has shone a
:26:27. > :26:35.spotlight on our brightest talent but the battle to security seems
:26:35. > :26:40.peculiarly a problem for Wales. Why to the likes of Brian O'Driscoll
:26:40. > :26:45.and Johnny Sexton, all of whom could command huge salaries abroad,
:26:45. > :26:50.choose to stay here in Ireland? French clubs can get anybody that
:26:50. > :26:54.they want, really. If they come in for Johnny Sexton, they will be
:26:54. > :27:01.able to offer him more money than we can pay, that is just the way it
:27:01. > :27:06.is. What you hope is that your home players want to stay at home, like
:27:07. > :27:15.staying at home, because it is far easier to live in your native
:27:15. > :27:20.speaking language than it is in one of the French clubs. Also, I think
:27:21. > :27:26.he probably will get longer out of your career because of the player
:27:26. > :27:32.welfare system that is in operation here. I am not saying it is perfect
:27:32. > :27:36.but it seemed to keep them going longer. The best 20 players in
:27:36. > :27:42.Ireland are employed directly by the Irish rugby union, who pay
:27:42. > :27:47.their wages, and also contribute to the salaries of 20 players in the
:27:47. > :27:53.pan, with the provinces paint the balance. There's also a big tax
:27:53. > :27:59.incentive for Irish players, who are entitled to a sizable rebate if
:27:59. > :28:04.they finish the contract in Ireland. In Wales, the regions of the soul
:28:04. > :28:08.employers. Although they are given money for their times away at
:28:08. > :28:13.internationals, they have complained of being short changed.
:28:13. > :28:20.It is hard to argue against it, what has happened in our country.
:28:20. > :28:25.It suited us, it suits the national team and the provincial team. We
:28:25. > :28:31.have serious rosewood Union about player release, player availability
:28:31. > :28:37.and it is a healthy kind of complaint. It there is one man
:28:37. > :28:42.place to comment on this, it is Mike Ruddock, who has worked at
:28:42. > :28:46.regional and national level for both Wales and Ireland. He sees
:28:46. > :28:49.contracting players as just one piece of the jigsaw. If you're
:28:49. > :28:56.going to start investing in players don't you need to invest in the
:28:56. > :29:04.whole structure, from top to bottom. In terms of owning the regions, if
:29:04. > :29:10.you have got the cheque book, you dictate. At the moment, their heart
:29:10. > :29:16.two different bodies, if you like, trying to work with the same
:29:16. > :29:22.players. The provinces want the best, and the regions want the best
:29:22. > :29:28.for Wales, but there are complex at times about one is his best to rest
:29:28. > :29:33.the player and when to play a player. If it was all under one
:29:33. > :29:39.umbrella tonight would have thought it would be much more effective.
:29:39. > :29:45.That would mean the union taking control with the region's becoming
:29:45. > :29:51.branches of the WRU, as the provinces are in Ireland. But the
:29:51. > :29:54.provinces have always existed in Ireland, Wales was always club-
:29:54. > :30:01.based. The regions were created when it was realised there was not
:30:01. > :30:08.enough money to keep the clubs afloat. But a look at the finances
:30:08. > :30:17.has revealed, in the words of Roger Lewis, a lot of self-inflicted
:30:17. > :30:22.wounds. Talks are continuing to try to find a solution but with more
:30:22. > :30:26.and more players been linked with moves abroad, and the gulf widening
:30:27. > :30:31.between the regions and the Irish provinces, time is of the essence.
:30:31. > :30:37.It would seem to me to have reached the stage where they need to thrash
:30:37. > :30:41.out some sort of deal. If they are talking, I think that is great. If
:30:41. > :30:44.anybody wants to talk to us about the pros and cons, I'm sure anybody
:30:44. > :30:54.from the union or from one of the provinces will be more than happy
:30:54. > :30:57.
:30:57. > :31:04.We understand there has been a bit of tension behind the scenes over
:31:04. > :31:11.this. Our central contracts a viable solution in Wales? We listen
:31:11. > :31:17.to the regions and we heard Mike Dawson St they need to thrash a
:31:17. > :31:21.deal out. He also said they have seen this argument with the editor
:31:21. > :31:28.of the Union. Why do we have to copy someone? That is the first
:31:28. > :31:33.thing. Ireland they have got it right regionally, I think, but
:31:33. > :31:37.Wales, England and France have been better in the Six Nations and in
:31:37. > :31:41.the World Cup than Ireland. At the moment it is not cost-effective for
:31:41. > :31:48.the regions to have a lot of international players. I just think
:31:48. > :31:52.again it is a little bit of common sense and the regions and Louis
:31:52. > :31:57.need to sit down and thrash out something sensible for Wales. At
:31:57. > :32:01.the moment, they are like the fifth region and a lot of the players
:32:01. > :32:07.seem to be playing a lot better for Wales and for the regions. But how
:32:07. > :32:12.long is that going to continue? Wales needs strong regions because
:32:12. > :32:17.if you have a strong regions, players are going to want to stay
:32:17. > :32:20.there and if they are successful, then Wales are going to be
:32:20. > :32:26.successful. So you are always bickering. Welsh rugby is going to
:32:26. > :32:34.lose out. Looking at the facts, at the moment 6 million is played to
:32:34. > :32:38.the regions by the union every year to compensate for the players in
:32:39. > :32:44.away. As we understand it that money was going to be used for
:32:44. > :32:50.those settled contracts. So can you understand why the regions have
:32:50. > :32:57.denied it? Yes, it is a grey area so we do not know the in and outs
:32:57. > :33:03.of where the money is spent but it is common sense. If the Welsh
:33:04. > :33:11.regions have more money safe from paying international players, they
:33:11. > :33:14.can get players in. Look at the history of the Irish players. It
:33:14. > :33:17.strengthens the whole squad, brings the younger players through and
:33:17. > :33:22.then you do not have to have the international players. They are not
:33:22. > :33:26.as important for the regions because the money is used elsewhere.
:33:26. > :33:32.Again, we always began argue that we have to look at the bigger
:33:32. > :33:39.picture. It is best for the players, best for the region and best for
:33:39. > :33:42.Wales that is important. One of the reasons central contracts has been
:33:42. > :33:46.bandied about is to try to stop this flood of our best players to
:33:46. > :33:50.France. Do you think having central contracts with do that? If you are
:33:50. > :33:59.getting offered a three or four times your weight over in France,
:33:59. > :34:01.it is difficult to turn it down. -- your wage. You will still lose some
:34:01. > :34:05.players because of different personal circumstances but I think
:34:05. > :34:12.it would definitely help. It is not as badly as it used to be. Players
:34:12. > :34:17.are torn between the region or the Union. What the union will do as
:34:17. > :34:24.well is get all the infrastructure in place. That is why Wales is so
:34:24. > :34:28.successful. Behind the scenes. Bumping in so much money to help
:34:28. > :34:34.the players. That is probably one area where the region's really
:34:34. > :34:38.could benefit. Ireland do it as well. Thank you. We know this will
:34:38. > :34:48.go on for some time. On to the Premiership and are featured game
:34:48. > :34:54.
:34:54. > :34:59.this week is planned average versus match losing streak and Jenkins
:34:59. > :35:09.pounced on a neat grubber kick. The visitors fought back strongly after
:35:09. > :35:09.
:35:09. > :35:15.being down. Bridgend held off Aberavon for back-to-back victories.
:35:15. > :35:21.The home side claimed his boils. The atrocious weather conditions
:35:21. > :35:31.play their part in this low-scoring affair. This try by Harris, his
:35:31. > :35:34.fourth in two days, was the only one of the match. Newport have
:35:35. > :35:43.enjoyed a revival recently while Swansea continued to struggle at
:35:43. > :35:53.the foot of the tables. Adam France and eventually forced his way over
:35:53. > :35:55.
:35:55. > :35:58.for just before half time. After the break, Swansea scored two quick
:35:58. > :36:01.fire tries to give them some hope. Rhys Williams touching down here
:36:01. > :36:11.but the home side came back strongly to claim a bonus point
:36:11. > :36:19.
:36:19. > :36:26.against their class. It has not been a bad one for the drovers,
:36:26. > :36:31.still unbeaten at the top of the table. With the rain bouncing down,
:36:31. > :36:38.there was this penalty by Rhys Jones, son of former Wales captain
:36:38. > :36:48.recently. The game then developed into a real slugfest, with much
:36:48. > :36:56.
:36:56. > :37:02.more slug manifest. PoW made it 3-3 the Rovers' player almost
:37:02. > :37:11.capitalising on a defensive move. Judge for yourself again on the
:37:11. > :37:20.replay. After that, the second half was a mirror image of the first but
:37:20. > :37:25.a little bit wetter and a little bit worse. Powell showed why he was
:37:25. > :37:29.the season's Premiership scorer. That was that as far as the scoring
:37:29. > :37:38.went but medals all round for the players and two reasonably
:37:38. > :37:43.It was two very committed sides out there today. Conditions had an
:37:43. > :37:48.effect on how the game was play but ultimately the defences from all
:37:48. > :37:53.sides were tight. We are ten games into the season and we have not
:37:53. > :37:59.lost yet. We are pleased we have maintained our unbeaten record. We
:37:59. > :38:07.would have liked to have won that we cannot complain about where we
:38:07. > :38:17.are at the moment. With an Laulala and Pontypridd not playing, Bedwas
:38:17. > :38:22.
:38:22. > :38:27.And can get relations to this month's principality player of the

:38:31. > :38:36.the drovers' rise to the top of this season after a summer pre-
:38:36. > :38:40.season with the Scarlets. He lists his most admired player as Martyn
:38:40. > :38:50.Williams. Back to the break off and the Ospreys were in action this
:38:50. > :38:52.
:38:52. > :39:01.afternoon against European work depleted by international
:39:01. > :39:11.call-outs. The Ospreys and Leinster supplied ten players each to Wales
:39:11. > :39:28.
:39:28. > :39:34.confident that the try has been scored. Bishop could not have that
:39:34. > :39:44.after the charge down. Has it gone forward? You may award the try.
:39:44. > :40:21.
:40:21. > :40:28.either side. Fussell chipped we create up. Walker was there on
:40:29. > :40:38.hand to finish. -- Fussell created it. Now they are within range, the
:40:39. > :40:43.
:40:43. > :40:51.Ospreys. Morgan is back in the from Morgan. That is possibly the
:40:51. > :41:01.score that secures victory for the Let's round up the weekend's other
:41:01. > :41:05.
:41:05. > :41:12.start to the season with their win over Edinburgh. Ulster remain on
:41:12. > :41:19.top with a game in hand. Scarlets stay in second. The Ospreys are now
:41:19. > :41:29.fifth after that victory over Leinster on. The Dragons are still
:41:29. > :41:37.struggling in the basement with A fantastic game for the Ospreys
:41:37. > :41:40.this afternoon. Yes, a tough game. Eli Walker had a great try. A bit
:41:40. > :41:44.of game management by Matthew Morgan dropping the goal and
:41:44. > :41:49.killing the game. Early-season woes when they lost their first free now
:41:49. > :41:53.far behind them. Yes. What is key to end his they still have the
:41:53. > :41:56.likes of Duncan Jones, Jonathan Thomas around to bring the
:41:56. > :42:00.youngsters through. That is probably the difference between
:42:00. > :42:04.them winning today's game and losing. Six days until the autumn
:42:04. > :42:08.internationals begin. We have talked briefly against opponents
:42:08. > :42:14.Argentina but we have the likes of New Zealand and somehow afterwards.
:42:14. > :42:21.What would be a good game for Wales this autumn? They have to look for
:42:21. > :42:24.three wins. Australia, Samoa and Argentina. New Zealand head and
:42:24. > :42:32.shoulders above everyone else at the moment but by then, injuries
:42:32. > :42:36.and form will have worked themselves out. But I think again
:42:36. > :42:41.we are at the level where we have to play well, I think. If we play
:42:41. > :42:51.well we will win three from a four. If we do not play well we will not
:42:51. > :42:52.
:42:52. > :42:58.have a platform. Martyn? Yes, the first two are all about... We were
:42:58. > :43:02.slow starters in the autumn. It's about getting those first two rings.
:43:02. > :43:06.We have from New Zealand close a few times at home. I think this
:43:06. > :43:11.side will be looking now to win at least three out of the four. Next
:43:11. > :43:15.week is based huge game against Argentina. We have run out of time.
