0:00:27 > 0:00:34It is a very young Welsh team facing the Georgians. A opened his account.

0:00:34 > 0:00:43Amos will score his second off the game. -- Amos. Why would you do

0:00:43 > 0:00:48that? I don't know what is happening.It depends how many front

0:00:48 > 0:00:52row forwards are injured. There are not enough fit props for a contested

0:00:52 > 0:00:56scrums so there will be no pushing at the scrum and still we cannot get

0:00:56 > 0:01:02on with it.There are going to go for the line-out, well done Georgia.

0:01:02 > 0:01:08This may take some on Raval name in the aftermath. Wales have beaten

0:01:08 > 0:01:14Georgia. All goodness?

0:01:14 > 0:01:17the aftermath. Wales have beaten Georgia. All goodness?Welcome to

0:01:17 > 0:01:21Scrum V. Wales got their first win of this autumn series and it was

0:01:21 > 0:01:29tight and it was hardly the spectacle we hoped for.Check out

0:01:29 > 0:01:42our panel. Jonathan Davies! Gwyn Jones! Justin Marshall! And we have

0:02:14 > 0:02:16Mr analysis.

0:02:19 > 0:02:28APPLAUSE.Welcome.

0:02:28 > 0:02:33APPLAUSE.Welcome.

0:02:35 > 0:02:40We will speak to our panel shortly but first let's remind

0:02:40 > 0:02:41We will speak to our panel shortly but first let's remind ourselves how

0:02:41 > 0:02:50things unfolded yesterday afternoon. Williams. Suddenly sees it is

0:02:50 > 0:02:56forward. The number eight makes the tackle. Wales have the penalty,

0:02:56 > 0:03:07where but takes it. Rhys Webb at full speed. The support from Watkin

0:03:07 > 0:03:20and Hill. Just a little nudge forwards. Eventually it ends up with

0:03:20 > 0:03:26Scott Williams restored to the Welsh midfield. Leon Brown did well to

0:03:26 > 0:03:34sort out the problem. And then put the foot to the floor, ad vantage

0:03:34 > 0:03:44being played, penalty ad vantage.-- advantage.This would be a reward

0:03:44 > 0:03:54for the early pressure from the Welsh. Straight as a die, Wales take

0:03:54 > 0:04:12the lead. Here comes Wales. Alex Cuthberts.I tell you what, that

0:04:12 > 0:04:18will go to the TMO. There he goes. He has wrapped the ball up and gone

0:04:18 > 0:04:25underneath him. I think if he scored there, he did exceptionally well.No

0:04:25 > 0:04:40try.Up goes Hill. He will want the ball at the back. Rhys Webb takes

0:04:40 > 0:04:49over. Scott Williams, Priestland on the loop. Amos opens the account for

0:04:49 > 0:05:01Wales. As a try scorer.Just watch the right winger here, he does not

0:05:01 > 0:05:09take his man, he leaves his man. You have got to nail him. Priestland. He

0:05:09 > 0:05:20got sucked in, there is the extra man, easy for Amos.Leon Brown.

0:05:20 > 0:05:32Smith tries to hold up. Cross, long ball, Watkin, Scott Williams, Amos

0:05:32 > 0:05:45gallops to the line. He is going to score his second of the game!

0:05:46 > 0:05:54Leo Colgan has something to resolve. The ball clearly goes forward. OK.

0:05:54 > 0:06:06No try.Amos is denied. Georgia, of course, they need to thank their

0:06:06 > 0:06:12lucky stars. They have gone from facing a conversion to having this

0:06:12 > 0:06:18attacking scrummage which becomes a penalty.They would take the points.

0:06:18 > 0:06:31I think they would definitely take the points here.Self hypnosis going

0:06:31 > 0:06:45on for Ashieshvili. Georgia are now only 10-3. Georgia apply pressure

0:06:45 > 0:06:51and here they get the penalty, they only trail by seven points, there is

0:06:51 > 0:07:04our way back into this game just by doing it the hard way.Matiashvili.

0:07:04 > 0:07:1910-6. They go straight to the three quarters, he is out of position.

0:07:19 > 0:07:32Great tackle again.Priestland. Could not quite make the path work.

0:07:32 > 0:07:39Flat ball. There is no one there. High tackle on the scrum-half. Here

0:07:39 > 0:07:57we go. Beard. Tom Francis, Dan Biggar. Back we go to the penalty.

0:07:57 > 0:08:15It is Priestland. 13-6. It is now a ruck. This is not going anywhere.

0:08:15 > 0:08:21Davies. Involved in the defence of operation. Everybody is involved.

0:08:21 > 0:08:28Georgia. Try and arrange their forces. It is a penalty ad vantage.

0:08:28 > 0:08:37Why would you do that? Why would you do that? Advantage.Yellow card for

0:08:37 > 0:08:45the prop. Georgia will have another chance.Georgia opted for a scrum

0:08:45 > 0:08:52from the resulting penalty and Wales had to bring Leon Brown back on.

0:08:52 > 0:08:55Following a discussion, it transpired that Brown was endured

0:08:55 > 0:08:59despite initially going off as a tactical substitution. This meant

0:08:59 > 0:09:04that any scrum would have to be uncontested so Georgia change their

0:09:04 > 0:09:11minds and chose to kick to the corner.Wales trying to keep the

0:09:11 > 0:09:17ball above the ground. This will make the conversion easier, they

0:09:17 > 0:09:21worked their way inside towards the post and it kept on going. After the

0:09:21 > 0:09:31double figures, Nemsadze comes away with that. The game is over and

0:09:31 > 0:09:35Wales are safe. What a tussle it has been. 13-6.

0:09:35 > 0:09:41Wales are safe. What a tussle it has been. 13-6.Perhaps unsurprisingly

0:09:41 > 0:09:48that last five minutes dominated the charts. Was there skulduggery?

0:09:48 > 0:09:52Accusations at -- of Wales at manipulating the laws. Let us hear

0:09:52 > 0:09:58what the coaches had to say.Can you clarify exactly what was happening

0:09:58 > 0:10:08with the front row changes?Lille was taken off because he had cramp.

0:10:08 > 0:10:12Nicky had his calf strapped up, so we ended up putting Christian

0:10:12 > 0:10:16background.We were disappointed with how it finished, we would have

0:10:16 > 0:10:20liked to have had that scrum. Were you happy that the right procedures

0:10:20 > 0:10:27were followed?I am not sure. I have asked word rugby to look at it.

0:10:27 > 0:10:34Because I think both the property were substituted work not injury

0:10:34 > 0:10:39substitutes. It may be a bit of gamesmanship, that happens, you want

0:10:39 > 0:10:44to make sure it was in the spirit of the game.We were as confused as

0:10:44 > 0:10:53anyone. The yellow cards that Leon Cort, we said he was cramped up, his

0:10:53 > 0:10:58cards are no good, it was one of the reasons, he was a tactical change

0:10:58 > 0:11:09but we knew he had cramp. Nicky had a bag on his calf as well. It would

0:11:09 > 0:11:16have been uncontested anyway with him going back on.Two props were

0:11:16 > 0:11:23suffering from cramp at the same time. Are you going to take this any

0:11:23 > 0:11:27further?I am not interested in taking it further. That is not what

0:11:27 > 0:11:34I am about.I can promise you, there was nothing from our point of view

0:11:34 > 0:11:40in terms of trying to manipulate the laws or anything like that. If Leon

0:11:40 > 0:11:48had been fit he would have returned to the field. If that had not

0:11:48 > 0:11:54happened, did you fancy your chances to have drawn again?Yes. I mean, we

0:11:54 > 0:11:58had reasonable dominance. Yes, we would have backed ourselves,

0:11:58 > 0:12:09definitely.Interesting sequence from the coaches. Milton Haig used

0:12:09 > 0:12:15the word gamesmanship, is that fair? I don't think so. It is impossible

0:12:15 > 0:12:20to know what happened. I think you take people at their word, if they

0:12:20 > 0:12:25are injured, that is it. Even though they went off for tactical reasons,

0:12:25 > 0:12:30if you start calling people liars, where does it end? You have to

0:12:30 > 0:12:35accept it. One of the arguments going forward, is that we should

0:12:35 > 0:12:42reduce the number of substitutions but that shows you cannot do it.I

0:12:42 > 0:12:48take them at their word. We have to take Wales at their word but even if

0:12:48 > 0:12:53Leon did not have cramp, were their actions within the spirit of the

0:12:53 > 0:12:58game but did they break any rules? Not at all. Maybe it was not in the

0:12:58 > 0:13:03spirit of the game, but what goes around comes around and it was

0:13:03 > 0:13:08France last year. It is one of those things, you cannot accuse people of

0:13:08 > 0:13:17not telling the truth.Surely that has never happened before!Not in

0:13:17 > 0:13:22their history! You cannot ask me about this, while we are all

0:13:22 > 0:13:29debating, the script says do not ask the Marshall, I was at the bar, I

0:13:29 > 0:13:42was bamboozled by it, but at times, the rules are difficult to follow.

0:13:42 > 0:13:47Really, it is great, the message that came from Milton Haig, the fact

0:13:47 > 0:13:52he is prepared to move on.What is criminal are the things you have on

0:13:52 > 0:13:58your feet! You always have the most interesting footwear.I bought these

0:13:58 > 0:14:07in Swansea.I have never came across shoes like that in Swansea!

0:14:07 > 0:14:16LAUGHTER. APPLAUSE. You may have bought them

0:14:16 > 0:14:20in Swansea but I don't think you could wear them their! There is a

0:14:20 > 0:14:25procedure that is followed when these things happen and Gareth has a

0:14:25 > 0:14:29different role with Bristol and we got his insight into what would have

0:14:29 > 0:14:35happened on the touchline.I am a team manager at Bristol and I have a

0:14:35 > 0:14:41bit more knowledge around the match card and you do have to say whether

0:14:41 > 0:14:44it is a tactical substitution or because the player is injured. It

0:14:44 > 0:14:49has to be in black and white. Alan is experienced and has been great in

0:14:49 > 0:14:53the job for a long time and I am sure it will stack up but if it does

0:14:53 > 0:14:58not, I'm sure there will be problems.Basically, we have a

0:14:58 > 0:15:02situation where what happens when a substitution is made, the manager

0:15:02 > 0:15:07will mark a card as to whether it is a tactical or injury replacement and

0:15:07 > 0:15:13then give that card to the officials and we heard Warren Gatland say that

0:15:13 > 0:15:18they were taken off as tactical substitutions. Therefore, the fact

0:15:18 > 0:15:24that they were injured later means it it is totally within the laws.

0:15:24 > 0:15:30Nicky Smith is irrelevant, he is a loosehead, he cannot scrum at tight

0:15:30 > 0:15:33head, even if he had returned, it would have been an uncontested

0:15:33 > 0:15:39scrum. Warren Gatland said that Leon Brown had cramp on the pitch even

0:15:39 > 0:15:45know that was not why he was taken off. He obviously did cramp up

0:15:45 > 0:15:50afterwards, we cannot doubt that. It is not in the spirit of the game to

0:15:50 > 0:15:55take an injured player back on. Player welfare is paramount. The

0:15:55 > 0:15:59worst thing was the confusion in the stadium, no one knew what was

0:15:59 > 0:16:04happening.That needs to be clarified more. There was a time

0:16:04 > 0:16:09when the referee was saying you had to go down to 13 men and that is the

0:16:09 > 0:16:15case if two props had gone off injured. That was not the case.I

0:16:15 > 0:16:20think everyone was waiting for the game to start. You were shaking your

0:16:20 > 0:16:32head, why?No, I wasn't! You said a manager, the fourth official...

0:16:32 > 0:16:38Again, if he had an injury, when he was taken off, if he walks to the

0:16:38 > 0:16:41stand and breaks his ankle on the walk back, that is the thing, you

0:16:41 > 0:16:50cannot go on. You have to take him at his word. Then move on.Are you

0:16:50 > 0:16:56allowed to change your mind? Apparently you can. George Earle

0:16:56 > 0:17:00wanted contested scrums and then becomes uncontested and

0:17:00 > 0:17:06circumstances have changed. You said that the finer points of the law are

0:17:06 > 0:17:13not your strong suit, but after the France game, you accused the French

0:17:13 > 0:17:16of cheating for doing something similar, is there an element of

0:17:16 > 0:17:21hypocrisy?I think gamesmanship is a strong word, whether you have played

0:17:21 > 0:17:25the game or if you supported, you have to keep yourself within the

0:17:25 > 0:17:29laws of the game and make sure you are honest. I think Wales have been

0:17:29 > 0:17:34honest and at the end of the day logic says if at prop is cramping,

0:17:34 > 0:17:38you do not want your proper they are trying to absorb that power. If he

0:17:38 > 0:17:42is cramping in the legs. You're going to concede a try, logically

0:17:42 > 0:17:54you cannot put a player on their when he

0:17:58 > 0:18:01is not at full fitness.I think they were within their rights to do what

0:18:01 > 0:18:04they did and I do not have any ambiguity about the fact that he was

0:18:04 > 0:18:06struggling with an injury.I am glad that did happen, because we would

0:18:06 > 0:18:09have nothing else to talk about! APPLAUSE.On that note we will go to

0:18:09 > 0:18:16Sean who has been analysing the game.It was not pretty to watch and

0:18:16 > 0:18:21not a lot for Warren Gatland to take but Wales did start well. We saw

0:18:21 > 0:18:25them attack from all quarters and they had a few chances in the first

0:18:25 > 0:18:25them attack from all quarters and they had a few chances in the first

0:18:25 > 0:18:30half and we saw evidence of that second receiver. Scott Williams

0:18:30 > 0:18:35coming from the 13 channel creative space on the outside as a second

0:18:35 > 0:18:38ballplayer for Priestland and Amos to get a fine first-half try. The

0:18:38 > 0:18:43forwards were handling the ball more, Hill had a good game, passing

0:18:43 > 0:18:58up the back but Wales were very lateral, Cross easily

0:19:15 > 0:19:18defended. We saw a few missed passes and that is easy to defend when

0:19:18 > 0:19:21trying to get to the wingmen that quickly, the All Blacks would be all

0:19:21 > 0:19:23over that. There is perceived space on the outside, but the lateral

0:19:23 > 0:19:26nature of Scott Williams, means that Georgia are able to get across and

0:19:26 > 0:19:28me know that the All Blacks are the best defenders in world rugby. The

0:19:28 > 0:19:31writ huge positives for Wales in the defensive department. They rushed

0:19:31 > 0:19:33out from the third and fourth defenders and swallowed up the

0:19:33 > 0:19:35forwards that Georgia had. Look at the third man out, spooking the

0:19:35 > 0:19:38Georgians back in where they are easily met. When you do that it

0:19:38 > 0:19:41brings the likes of Lydiate into the game. Man of the match for the Wales

0:19:41 > 0:19:43captain on the day. There were scrum issues for Leon Brown and the

0:19:43 > 0:19:46referee gave penalties and Tomas Francis when he came on also had

0:19:46 > 0:19:53problems. This manifested itself in the fiasco at the end of the game.

0:19:53 > 0:19:58This at the end of the first half. It is not that decision, that should

0:19:58 > 0:20:02be applauded, it is the execution. They are going to need to be

0:20:02 > 0:20:07clinical against the All Blacks. Just before this kick, Wales had

0:20:07 > 0:20:11lost another one and a prime position and from here a great

0:20:11 > 0:20:15attacking position you would expect Wales to have a lot of detail in the

0:20:15 > 0:20:20attack. Who is going to clear this out? Just Davis and Dee to lose the

0:20:20 > 0:20:32ball to a penalty. New Zealand will be all over

0:20:36 > 0:20:39this and there is plenty of work for Warren Gatland to do next week.Let

0:20:39 > 0:20:41us hear from some of the well-known faces, here are the experts. It was

0:20:41 > 0:20:44a decent game, workmanlike, what pleased me was the resilience at the

0:20:44 > 0:20:47end, the defence at the end and that scrum on the 73rd minute. You gain

0:20:47 > 0:20:49experience by putting yourself in that situation and that character

0:20:49 > 0:20:52building will be invaluable. Disappointed with the performance

0:20:52 > 0:20:58especially in the second half, the first 20 minutes went to plan. Quick

0:20:58 > 0:21:03line-outs and quick penalties and move the ball around really well.

0:21:03 > 0:21:07After all the hype, I expected Georgia to come out with all guns

0:21:07 > 0:21:11blazing and get stuck into us up front but it did not happen. I think

0:21:11 > 0:21:15the pace that we played out, meant that they could not get into the

0:21:15 > 0:21:20game.There were signs of real ambition today, but as we got

0:21:20 > 0:21:23dragged into that arm wrestle as we knew we would with Georgia, we did

0:21:23 > 0:21:27not quite have that change of tactics that hopefully will continue

0:21:27 > 0:21:33to evolve.I think if we had a full strength side out playing for the

0:21:33 > 0:21:37whole 80 minutes, we could have given them a bit of a tuning but as

0:21:37 > 0:21:42it turned out, we took our foot from the gas in the second half.Although

0:21:42 > 0:21:45we want to play in this experimental style against a team like New

0:21:45 > 0:21:49Zealand, we need to do whatever we do best, if that means being more

0:21:49 > 0:21:53direct which could have benefited us at times and then look for the space

0:21:53 > 0:22:05after, then we need to do that,

0:22:11 > 0:22:14because the All Blacks would live off the mistakes we made today.I do

0:22:14 > 0:22:16not think they will make many changes, I think Dan Biggar still

0:22:16 > 0:22:19has that Number 10 shirt, but I don't think they will be too worried

0:22:19 > 0:22:21about bringing on Rhys Priestland. I thought that he played well, he

0:22:21 > 0:22:25mixed his game up nicely. He saw the space, but he would be the same as

0:22:25 > 0:22:27everyone else, disappointed that they probably did not contribute

0:22:27 > 0:22:30more.It is such an experimental

0:22:30 > 0:22:30they probably did not contribute more.It is such an experimental

0:22:30 > 0:22:33team, not many of the guys will be able to push themselves forward and

0:22:33 > 0:22:37I think the way the game descended, we did not see anyone do enough to

0:22:37 > 0:22:45really put their hand up for the number one game in world rugby.I

0:22:45 > 0:22:48spoke to Warren Gatland before the game and he admitted it was a risk

0:22:48 > 0:22:54to make those changes. Ultimately, they won the game and it was not

0:22:54 > 0:22:58much of a spectacle but does that mean it was a worthwhile experiment?

0:22:58 > 0:23:02I think giving players game times is worthwhile. The fallout has been the

0:23:02 > 0:23:08biggest problem. It has created what we are doing now, debate and

0:23:08 > 0:23:11obviously a little bit of ill feeling to the way that their game

0:23:11 > 0:23:15played. When you make that many changes, you will have a bit of time

0:23:15 > 0:23:28to find your rhythm. Tomorrow when they debrief the team... If we'll

0:23:28 > 0:23:32always have been in Italy game, they can be slightly negative and you

0:23:32 > 0:23:36cannot get your rhythm but the worst thing you could do is get hung up on

0:23:36 > 0:23:43a performance. But a win is a win. Players will be enthused and their

0:23:43 > 0:23:49confidence will not be sky high and that is a good thing. It has

0:23:49 > 0:23:54probably served its purpose, if we are not going to bring these in now,

0:23:54 > 0:23:59maybe what we found out is that our strength and depth is not as good as

0:23:59 > 0:24:05we thought and hoped it was.We were very critical of them not playing

0:24:05 > 0:24:09certain players against Japan last year. That game was close. We cannot

0:24:09 > 0:24:16fault them for doing that. Looking at the performance, you can see that

0:24:16 > 0:24:20rustiness there, we were good from the first phase in particular, the

0:24:20 > 0:24:24move was already planned, the angles were ready but in the first half

0:24:24 > 0:24:28when we executed some of those set piece moves, we looked good but as

0:24:28 > 0:24:33soon as we went into the next phase, we became a flat line across the

0:24:33 > 0:24:41pitch and just slammed it up again and looked... And then we became

0:24:41 > 0:24:45electable. There were long periods, have the ball in the first half we

0:24:45 > 0:24:51did not even make an impact. We lost all our decoy runners and that new

0:24:51 > 0:24:55style we saw disappeared. That is what you can expect when you pick a

0:24:55 > 0:24:58team like that.I think you can fault them, they will go win against

0:24:58 > 0:25:02New Zealand with the backline who have not played together. I am all

0:25:02 > 0:25:06for changes but I think there was too many. Some of those players

0:25:06 > 0:25:10might have learned a lesson but their confidence will take a hit and

0:25:10 > 0:25:16when will they next get a chance... It will probably be the one who

0:25:16 > 0:25:21faced Australia.I would not have made all of those changes, I would

0:25:21 > 0:25:24have tinkered and kept the key players out with a little bit of

0:25:24 > 0:25:31continuity to play the new style. It was our second team. Our first team

0:25:31 > 0:25:40would have put more away for Georgia. The backs were dreadful. If

0:25:40 > 0:25:47we would have taken all the backs of, they still would have scored. We

0:25:47 > 0:25:52saw Italy, they have tried to evolve their game because they were very

0:25:52 > 0:25:55forward dominant, but the disappointment for me is the fact

0:25:55 > 0:26:01that we tried to play in this new style and as Sean showed in his

0:26:01 > 0:26:04analysis, we were lateral, we did not engage any defenders when we

0:26:04 > 0:26:10were going wide, did not have enough dummy and when the game, they were

0:26:10 > 0:26:15not spreading out and we were lateral, then you have got to look

0:26:15 > 0:26:19and carry. The other side is carried the ball, because they know

0:26:19 > 0:26:23defenders are not committing the rocks and you have to carry. It is

0:26:23 > 0:26:28like a game of touch rugby. There was defending, either with the

0:26:28 > 0:26:34second row or a forward, inside the winger. As a player you have to say,

0:26:34 > 0:26:40that is the bloke we have to target, run straight at him, you can score

0:26:40 > 0:26:47tries. It was disappointing for me because we knew their strengths, and

0:26:47 > 0:26:52we realised how bad they were defensively and we scored that one

0:26:52 > 0:26:59try, the winger was like Forrest Gump, he had no idea where he was!

0:26:59 > 0:27:03You have got to target their weaknesses and if it does not work

0:27:03 > 0:27:07out, you have to change it and expose them again.Given your

0:27:07 > 0:27:11glowing praise of Georgia Jabbour backline their...

0:27:11 > 0:27:20APPLAUSE. The perceived wisdom is that this strength -- strengthened

0:27:20 > 0:27:24their claim to join the Six Nations but from what Jonathan said, it has

0:27:24 > 0:27:28weakened their claims because they did not perform on the biggest stage

0:27:28 > 0:27:31pinch-macro I do not think it has weakened their claims, compared to

0:27:31 > 0:27:35the performance against Scotland last year.It is not a simple

0:27:35 > 0:27:41question. I do not think they should expand it to seven, there is too

0:27:41 > 0:27:48much international rugby. They were not even champions of that

0:27:48 > 0:27:51second-tier competition and they would not be the ones coming in.

0:27:51 > 0:27:54There needs to be a relegation promotion system but that will take

0:27:54 > 0:28:00years. Probably another 20 years. They were OK in the second half,

0:28:00 > 0:28:07their defence was good. And the scrum was good throughout. I'm

0:28:07 > 0:28:11trying to be positive. In the first 20 minutes they tried to play some

0:28:11 > 0:28:18rugby. They tried to recycle the ball in their own 22 and tried to

0:28:18 > 0:28:25keep the ball in play. I thought what are they doing? You want scrums

0:28:25 > 0:28:28and line-outs. They took a tap penalty instead of having a scrum.

0:28:28 > 0:28:34Then they went back to what you expected. It is a very negative and

0:28:34 > 0:28:38slow way of playing. Difficult to play against and what was

0:28:38 > 0:28:41disappointing was we could not get out of that system when they had us

0:28:41 > 0:28:46by the throat for most of the second half and it descended into 40 but as

0:28:46 > 0:28:49of the most boring rugby you can remember. Was that lack of

0:28:49 > 0:28:54experience? The team with so few caps found themselves in a situation

0:28:54 > 0:28:57where they were dragged into a dogfight they did not want to be

0:28:57 > 0:29:00involved in and they did not have the experience to change things on

0:29:00 > 0:29:06the pitch?I concur with what Jeffrey said. Sometimes when you are

0:29:06 > 0:29:09trying to impress and trying to get into the game, you make it harder if

0:29:09 > 0:29:13you do not work as a team and you do not figure it out. It is one of

0:29:13 > 0:29:18those ones when you do get into an arm wrestle, it can descend into a

0:29:18 > 0:29:24real fight and a real battle and that is what happened. They will

0:29:24 > 0:29:27learn from not figuring it out, they will learn, because they will be

0:29:27 > 0:29:30told some of the things they should have been doing, they were not, but

0:29:30 > 0:29:36they stayed in the fight and that is a positive.Look at these scenes,

0:29:36 > 0:29:40they were delighted. The fact that they came within seven, even though

0:29:40 > 0:29:43was not a hugely entertaining game, they thought, you can see from the

0:29:43 > 0:29:48celebrations, they have proved a point.It was by no means a

0:29:48 > 0:29:53one-sided game. They are very proud of their performance and they came

0:29:53 > 0:30:01within a whisker of a draw, perhaps. I think the players who probably did

0:30:01 > 0:30:05themselves justice, Rhys Webb looked sharp, you have to consider him for

0:30:05 > 0:30:13the game next week and I thought Leon Brown showed some nice touches.

0:30:13 > 0:30:19He tackled heroically like always does. What does he contribute in

0:30:19 > 0:30:23attack, that is difficult to see where he fits into a new style of

0:30:23 > 0:30:23play.

0:30:30 > 0:30:36New Zealand are coming to town next Saturday. The world champions on

0:30:36 > 0:30:40their way. Yesterday they warmed up by facing the Scots in Edinburgh.

0:30:40 > 0:30:46It was an emotionally charged Murrayfield. Dodgy wheel was there,

0:30:46 > 0:30:47who is currently suffering

0:30:54 > 0:31:00He received a massive reception.

0:31:02 > 0:31:04Scotland are still a man down.

0:31:04 > 0:31:11Scotland are still a man down. Can the All Blacks punished? Taylor in

0:31:11 > 0:31:14four the try. They knew there was a man advantage.

0:31:15 > 0:31:21Scotland in all sorts of trouble. Free attack for the All Blacks. They

0:31:21 > 0:31:24are still walking towards the line. Movement in the back. Still with an

0:31:24 > 0:31:32advantage. Williams... McKenzie! Great try for the All Blacks. They

0:31:32 > 0:31:38are going to take it quickly, 15 against 14 now. George Turner, high

0:31:38 > 0:31:42tackle, and not an advantage. George Turner, so close to the ground, high

0:31:42 > 0:31:48tackle on him. Price... Still with a penalty advantage. Jonny Gray tries

0:31:48 > 0:31:55to stretch and he scores for Scotland. They have a try. They have

0:31:55 > 0:31:57the man advantage. They still have hope it might be done.

0:31:59 > 0:32:09Five minutes remaining of the Sinden. Sonny Bill Williams... What

0:32:09 > 0:32:21a wonderful try! -- five minutes or so remaining of the sinbinning.

0:32:21 > 0:32:26Scotland still need to navigate the whole of the All Blacks' half.

0:32:29 > 0:32:35A little chip for see more... Gives the past... Jones goes for the try.

0:32:35 > 0:32:39What a try for Scotland! Is there still life in Scotland here at

0:32:39 > 0:32:41Murrayfield?

0:32:45 > 0:32:53Getting closer, but still so far-away. Stuart Hogg is through.

0:32:53 > 0:32:57Stuart Hogg for the corner. He cannot quite get there. The ball

0:32:57 > 0:33:00infield and it has gone forward now. WHISTLE

0:33:00 > 0:33:08That might be it. The whistle blows. The cruellest sound for Scotland

0:33:08 > 0:33:14here at Murrayfield. What an effort. Looking forward to looking horns

0:33:14 > 0:33:16with Warren Gatland next weekend?

0:33:16 > 0:33:16Looking forward to looking horns with Warren Gatland next weekend? We

0:33:16 > 0:33:21are playing Wales, not Warren Gatland, but I am looking forward to

0:33:21 > 0:33:26playing Wales, not Warren Gatland. Well done for today.Thanks.

0:33:26 > 0:33:31The battle has already begun ahead of next week. You were there

0:33:31 > 0:33:35yesterday. We could see how gutted Stuart Hogg and the entire Scottish

0:33:35 > 0:33:38nation was he wasn't able to keep hold of the ball at the end. How

0:33:38 > 0:33:42worried were you?Worried. Because the All Blacks were struggling to

0:33:42 > 0:33:47find the right rhythm at the right stage of the game. Scotland, once

0:33:47 > 0:33:50the crowd got behind them, and Stuart Hogg injected himself back

0:33:50 > 0:33:54into the game, he went missing for about 15 minutes in the second half

0:33:54 > 0:33:57when they could not get the ball. But when he got the ball he was

0:33:57 > 0:34:02causing the All Blacks all sorts of problems in the outside channel. We

0:34:02 > 0:34:05were just saying, I don't think he was going to outguess Bohdan

0:34:05 > 0:34:11Barrett. Great cover defence from Barrett. That is causing some

0:34:11 > 0:34:16anxiety, no doubt. But cracking game of rugby. Fair play to Scotland.

0:34:16 > 0:34:19They fronted and produced a performance to be proud of. But they

0:34:19 > 0:34:24will be gutted. They will go to review that game with about 65% of

0:34:24 > 0:34:30the ball over 60% possession. They made the All Blacks make over 2.5

0:34:30 > 0:34:33more tackles than double that they still cannot win the game. You are

0:34:33 > 0:34:39waxing lyrical about Stuart Hogg. Given the struggles he had in the

0:34:39 > 0:34:43summer he made a fantastic comeback, didn't he?He got injured in the

0:34:43 > 0:34:48Lions. I think he has lost a bit of weight. You can see it in his pace.

0:34:48 > 0:34:55Not only the pace, it's the vision. Just make the extra yards. Makes it

0:34:55 > 0:34:58easy for the forwards. He is a very good player. It is a good tackle by

0:34:58 > 0:35:04McKenzie. I enjoyed the battle between the two fallbacks. He burst

0:35:04 > 0:35:13in, McKenzie, but he isn't going to out run Bohdan Barrett. --

0:35:13 > 0:35:22full-backs. Scotland competed at the rocks. -- Scotland competed at the

0:35:22 > 0:35:25rucks. They've had a long season, Scotland. It was tough with the

0:35:25 > 0:35:30Lions. You just feel...Here we go...

0:35:30 > 0:35:37LAUGHTER I just think, I think we said,

0:35:37 > 0:35:39Romano is injured. Are you

0:35:43 > 0:35:50great result for Wales.Going into this autumn series, Scotland have a

0:35:50 > 0:35:53long injury list. They are missing a lot of experience. That makes this

0:35:53 > 0:35:58performance even more significant for them, doesn't it?And they lost

0:35:58 > 0:36:02players as the game went on yesterday. What was striking was

0:36:02 > 0:36:06they took the All Blacks on in a game of open rugby. They said we are

0:36:06 > 0:36:11going to score tries against you. We will run from our own half. All of

0:36:11 > 0:36:16the things they've been doing with Glasgow, on the back line, Gregor

0:36:16 > 0:36:20Townsend, it was great to watch, we should be doing this, they thought.

0:36:20 > 0:36:26Shall we hear from Sean Holley? What can we take from that Scottish

0:36:26 > 0:36:31performance and what did you make of it?A contrasting couple of games.

0:36:31 > 0:36:36Scotland threw everything at the All Blacks. But they just don't know how

0:36:36 > 0:36:37to lose.

0:36:37 > 0:36:40Blacks. But they just don't know how to lose. Scotland were looking for

0:36:40 > 0:36:45weak shoulders in New Zealand. It gets them the gain line and over. It

0:36:45 > 0:36:51shows the benefit of an attacking full-back. He was dangerous all day.

0:36:51 > 0:36:55They dealt with the fret over the ball. Look at Ferguson tackling

0:36:55 > 0:37:00Whitelock off the ball. It was a tactic. They got penalised if you

0:37:00 > 0:37:04times. They dealt with that threat. Kane and company are serious threat

0:37:04 > 0:37:10over the ball for Wales next week. Warning, don't underestimate an All

0:37:10 > 0:37:13Blacks scrum. They are dangerous. Particularly at the power play when

0:37:13 > 0:37:18they are close to the line, or as we saw at the end of the game, they can

0:37:18 > 0:37:23shut the game down for a win. Wales, be aware in this department. It is

0:37:23 > 0:37:27all about the attacks in midfield. Wales could be vulnerable here. Bit

0:37:27 > 0:37:32of a stroke of luck, his shoulder injury keeps him up, and Sonny Bill

0:37:32 > 0:37:35Williams back to his best. Look at the relationship between Sonny Bill

0:37:35 > 0:37:43Williams and McKenzie. The pass to Barrett, game over. When you have a

0:37:43 > 0:37:47centre who can do this close to the line, Wales don't have a scrum-half

0:37:47 > 0:37:50who sweeps the back, McKenzie reading the body language again,

0:37:50 > 0:37:52through to score. We will have our

0:37:52 > 0:37:52reading the body language again, through to score. We will have our

0:37:52 > 0:37:58hands full. There is this perception that New Zealand go around teams and

0:37:58 > 0:38:02win games, but they'd like to go through them, as well, don't they?

0:38:02 > 0:38:07They certainly do. Well analysed. They are not getting their balance

0:38:07 > 0:38:13right. I don't want to give much away, considering where I am,

0:38:13 > 0:38:19tactically... But what they really struggled with in the Lions series

0:38:19 > 0:38:22was the rush defence. Particularly on the inside. That's coming out

0:38:22 > 0:38:29quick. And on the outside, it is cutting off the feasible wide

0:38:29 > 0:38:33option. In that game they persisted all night in trying to go through

0:38:33 > 0:38:39Scotland. 12, 13, ten channel. They did not deviate from it. They didn't

0:38:39 > 0:38:44hit the outside channels at all. There is pace and power out there.

0:38:44 > 0:38:48But the turnovers came from second phase play or when it was kicked

0:38:48 > 0:38:53directly. We need to get the balance right. Otherwise we are predictable.

0:38:53 > 0:38:56Wales will have looked at that. Hopefully they have some innovation

0:38:56 > 0:38:59that they can still back themselves to get outside a rush defence

0:38:59 > 0:39:04because we know, well, I know, Wales will bring that type of defence to

0:39:04 > 0:39:12the All Blacks. They will see it and target it to shut it down.To beat

0:39:12 > 0:39:16the All Blacks you have to out score them. If we look at Australia, they

0:39:16 > 0:39:20outscored you, so did the Lions in the summer, as did Ireland. At the

0:39:20 > 0:39:26start of this new wave we are playing...And in the first half, as

0:39:26 > 0:39:31well.We might have. Are we too early in the journey? That's what I

0:39:31 > 0:39:36thought it was a mistake to make so many changes ahead of the game with

0:39:36 > 0:39:39Georgia. If New Zealand are attacking through the middle, Davies

0:39:39 > 0:39:42is out, so you will have a midfield who has never played together

0:39:42 > 0:39:48before. Maybe Williams at 13, who is usually a 12? We will see what

0:39:48 > 0:39:52Warren does. They need to come out fast. Attack and defence. And shut

0:39:52 > 0:39:56them down in the breakdown like Scotland were doing. If you deny the

0:39:56 > 0:40:04All Blacks quick ball, they cannot get their back developed.Of all the

0:40:04 > 0:40:09players for you to have injured, Jonathan Davies is the worst.Yes.

0:40:09 > 0:40:12He would be very close to one of the best players on the planet at the

0:40:12 > 0:40:16moment. The way he played in the Lions series and subsequently. Such

0:40:16 > 0:40:25a dangerous threat. But he is not on the list.Do not get me started on

0:40:25 > 0:40:27the women's list. CHUCKLES

0:40:27 > 0:40:32You missing Jonathan Davies is a body blow, big-time, because he is

0:40:32 > 0:40:36just quality. We thought we had got over that, but thanks for that.

0:40:36 > 0:40:44Because he is so good.In terms of what Sean said about neutralising

0:40:44 > 0:40:50the threat. They struggled in terms of what they get away with with the

0:40:50 > 0:40:53referees. Scotland had a good job of smashing them off the rucks and

0:40:53 > 0:41:04going in for the tackle. The All Blacks... All equivalent of number

0:41:04 > 0:41:09ten, all good at pitching the ball. They all go back and forth

0:41:09 > 0:41:12seamlessly into the positions. That is what allows them to play with the

0:41:12 > 0:41:18pace and freedom they do. I think the All Blacks, just over the last

0:41:18 > 0:41:2212 months, they've lost three matches in the last 12 months. They

0:41:22 > 0:41:28have got one draw. South Africa came within a point. Scotland had a pass

0:41:28 > 0:41:34to win it. They are not the fearsome team of old... Look, still a

0:41:34 > 0:41:36fantastic rugby team who play wonderful rugby, they would be one

0:41:36 > 0:41:41of the best on the planet, but they are not the All Blacks who

0:41:41 > 0:41:44dismantled teams by 30 points and walk through it any more. They are

0:41:44 > 0:41:48having to work at it. They will crack at one point. Whether we can

0:41:48 > 0:41:52put enough pressure to crack them, I don't know.Four of their first

0:41:52 > 0:41:58choice are out back in New Zealand. I think they've picked more players

0:41:58 > 0:42:02this season. You probably know better than me. 60 more than last

0:42:02 > 0:42:07year. They've not have the same starting line-up since the World Cup

0:42:07 > 0:42:15final.There was a time when they could put two out and could beat

0:42:15 > 0:42:19anybody. But they are not there any more.We always talk about a wounded

0:42:19 > 0:42:27animal, don't we, if a team has lost, or a team isn't close, last

0:42:27 > 0:42:30year when Ireland beat them, they came back to Dublin and we were

0:42:30 > 0:42:32actually expecting the All Blacks to come out and have a massive

0:42:32 > 0:42:36performance. But Ireland could have beaten them. But what they did was

0:42:36 > 0:42:46up the physicality level. That is what the best sides do. They would

0:42:46 > 0:42:49have been too happy with that performance. Irrespective of who

0:42:49 > 0:42:54they have got, they are still the best in the world. They will raise

0:42:54 > 0:42:59their game. If you look at the Bowden Barrett tried. 14 men on the

0:42:59 > 0:43:04field. They know straightaway, hang on, we will not put this wide, Horne

0:43:04 > 0:43:10jumped out to the line. Sonny Bill Williams notices it. The angle at

0:43:10 > 0:43:15which McKenzie hit that ball, it was fantastic. That is what they do. If

0:43:15 > 0:43:20they get a sniff, the support lines, back and forward, they are

0:43:20 > 0:43:25brilliant, they run close, they run wide. If we do a line break,

0:43:25 > 0:43:30something we don't score tries off, when they cut the line break they

0:43:30 > 0:43:38score. Next week, no matter what, we've got to create things, score,

0:43:38 > 0:43:42finish those moves off, otherwise we will not win.Let's introduce you to

0:43:42 > 0:43:46a guy who became a bit of a cult hero in New Zealand over the summer.

0:43:46 > 0:43:52Stuart Broad won a competition for an all expenses paid trip down under

0:43:52 > 0:43:57for a trip of a lifetime. I just want to remind you, if you haven't

0:43:57 > 0:44:05already seen it, what he had to go through to win that competition.

0:44:05 > 0:44:10Welshman Stuart broad beat other hopeful fans with a re-enactment of

0:44:10 > 0:44:16the Everest speech.Do you reckon you could get in that shirt?

0:44:16 > 0:44:25Probably.Go on, have a go.Over your shirt would have been fine.

0:44:25 > 0:44:34CHUCKLES This is the last thing. We want you

0:44:34 > 0:44:42to do your Jim Telfer Everest speech. Here it is. 80 minutes

0:44:42 > 0:44:48between now and history. We go out there. We faced down that hacker. We

0:44:48 > 0:44:54take this series. No ifs, no buts, this is it, boys, 80 minutes, 80

0:44:54 > 0:44:59minutes to be the best ever, to go down in history, come on, come on,

0:44:59 > 0:45:05the Lions, yes!I like it. Very nice. We will call you in the next

0:45:05 > 0:45:10ten minutes.Lovely, brilliant. Thank you.Cheers.

0:45:10 > 0:45:20LAUGHTER He's won.

0:45:20 > 0:45:20CHUCKLES

0:45:22 > 0:45:29That was amazing. It never grows old. The man himself, Stuart Broad.

0:45:29 > 0:45:35Thanks very much.And his long-suffering wife who will be

0:45:35 > 0:45:39joining him on tour, as well. Welcome. They stitched you up a

0:45:39 > 0:45:42little bit. They knew you had won the competition before you had to go

0:45:42 > 0:45:50through that, but worth it in the end?Very. As a Welshman, it was a

0:45:50 > 0:45:53holiday of a lifetime. Forrest Gump, by the way, does not play for

0:45:53 > 0:46:04Georgia, he plays for Aberavon Quins.

0:46:04 > 0:46:07APPLAUSE What we did not see in that clip,

0:46:07 > 0:46:11after it was revealed that Stewart had won, he rang you for an

0:46:11 > 0:46:17emotional phone call to tell you that you had won. How did it go?I

0:46:17 > 0:46:21was in shock. I could not believe it. I still can't believe we went to

0:46:21 > 0:46:26New Zealand to see the Lions play. My dad has not forgiven me because I

0:46:26 > 0:46:33did not take him. I don't think he will ever forgive me.No.One thing

0:46:33 > 0:46:37you did witness is watching New Zealand lose on home soil. Justin

0:46:37 > 0:46:41Marshall is probably better about that still. But it shows they can be

0:46:41 > 0:46:47beaten. Do you think Wales have a chance of doing it next week?We

0:46:47 > 0:46:51were there in Wellington. Sonny Bill Williams did us a favour. We went

0:46:51 > 0:46:57there and we did it. We beat them. Let's dare to dream. We can do it.

0:46:57 > 0:47:03Do you fancy the win?Definitely. Optimism from these guys. We may be

0:47:03 > 0:47:09coming back to you for a special... Oh, thank you very much, I will wear

0:47:09 > 0:47:13this for the end link. APPLAUSE

0:47:16 > 0:47:20Someone needs to give Stuart his own television programme. Only a matter

0:47:20 > 0:47:23of time. With New Zealand coming to Wales this weekend we thought we

0:47:23 > 0:47:26would celebrate by showing you this, when Gareth Edwards met Darren

0:47:26 > 0:47:29Carter.

0:47:35 > 0:47:38Carter with the handoff, Carter to the line.

0:47:41 > 0:47:46You brought so much pleasure when you played. We are fortunate to have

0:47:46 > 0:47:54witnessed it.You are a generous bunch, the Welsh.Have you actually

0:47:54 > 0:48:05beaten Wales? He never did, you only scored more points than us.

0:48:05 > 0:48:08Seriously, it's probably my favourite stadium in the world.

0:48:08 > 0:48:13Wales is always a special place to tour. I have been fortunate to have

0:48:13 > 0:48:19some of my better games against Wales. Some great memories. The All

0:48:19 > 0:48:26Blacks have got a surprisingly young squad, which will be good. They are

0:48:26 > 0:48:30preparing for 2019. But it gives that extra edge after what happened

0:48:30 > 0:48:33in New Zealand, even though it isn't the British and Irish Lions, but

0:48:33 > 0:48:39there is a lot of Welsh players, Warren Gatland...There was a bit of

0:48:39 > 0:48:44a dental there.Yes. I think that will add an extra dynamic to this

0:48:44 > 0:48:51Test match. I'm confident the All Blacks will get up for this game.

0:48:51 > 0:48:56It's going to be a classic Test match. You have been the major force

0:48:56 > 0:49:00in that position for the last 20 years, it seems. And it's been a

0:49:00 > 0:49:07pleasure watching you play. If my children heard me say anything other

0:49:07 > 0:49:15than of course I would love -- I would have loved to have played with

0:49:15 > 0:49:19Dan, they would be shocked.I would have liked it, as well. I'm not sure

0:49:19 > 0:49:24who would have been calling the moves, would it have been me, you?

0:49:24 > 0:49:24Probably me. CHUCKLES

0:49:24 > 0:49:31Thank you for your time. He can catch that again as part of a

0:49:31 > 0:49:37fantastic documentary coming this weekend as Gareth Edwards celebrates

0:49:37 > 0:49:42his 70th birthday. Make sure you can catch that if you can. You look

0:49:42 > 0:49:45nice. It does not really go with my

0:49:45 > 0:49:52collar. Let's look ahead to next weekend.

0:49:52 > 0:50:01The changes, I guess, let's start, wholesale changes?Back to the side

0:50:01 > 0:50:04who started against Australia, largely. I wonder whether they will

0:50:04 > 0:50:13put Liam at full-back. The problem is who will play 13. That is a big

0:50:13 > 0:50:17question to answer. And what balance they get. I imagine they will go

0:50:17 > 0:50:21with Liam Williams and Scott Williams who has played well for

0:50:21 > 0:50:26Wales in the centre in the past but not at his best at the moment.Liam

0:50:26 > 0:50:31Williams limped off a little bit at the weekend. But word is that he is

0:50:31 > 0:50:35optimistic and he should be ready for selection. You've talked about

0:50:35 > 0:50:40how he is a better full-back than he is winger. And he saw a lot more of

0:50:40 > 0:50:45the ball playing at 15 yesterday.I won't change my decision. I think he

0:50:45 > 0:50:50offers more in attack. I don't think they will make many changes. I would

0:50:50 > 0:50:58like to see Priestland get an opportunity with a full set of

0:50:58 > 0:51:06forwards.You would start Rhys Priestland?I'm not sure. But I

0:51:06 > 0:51:13think he is a bit more creative. At some point in the game they might

0:51:13 > 0:51:25have to bring him on. But I think it will be Biggar and Webb.He has

0:51:25 > 0:51:29probably been the form ten of the Premiership. He's come into his own

0:51:29 > 0:51:34since moving out of Wales. Recent has always been a confidence player,

0:51:34 > 0:51:37maybe not having the pressure of being in the Welsh public eye every

0:51:37 > 0:51:42week has helped him grow. -- Rhys Priestland has always been. That's

0:51:42 > 0:51:47probably when Wales play their best, creative rugby. On the Liam Williams

0:51:47 > 0:51:51thing. He was full-back for the Lions in the summer, is he the kind

0:51:51 > 0:51:53of player New Zealand fear?

0:51:54 > 0:51:59They don't often see a player, but they respect a player. What Liam

0:51:59 > 0:52:06Williams achieved on that Paul is a threat. I believe it is his best

0:52:06 > 0:52:10position. -- achieved on that tour. As a Kiwi fan would you prefer to

0:52:10 > 0:52:16see him on the wing, because he is less involved?Absolutely. He was

0:52:16 > 0:52:21dangerous off counter attack. He had many opportunities. He likes time on

0:52:21 > 0:52:25the ball. He has a really good lateral run on him. He brings

0:52:25 > 0:52:28players towards him. Good acceleration. He seems to find the

0:52:28 > 0:52:32gap. On the wing you are relying on the inside players to put you in

0:52:32 > 0:52:35those holes, rather than being creative, so it is a better position

0:52:35 > 0:52:39for him. I will be disappointed to see him on the wing, in a nutshell.

0:52:39 > 0:52:45CHUCKLES No matter who you play at full-back,

0:52:45 > 0:52:49unless you hold the defenders they are going to drift. As Georgia's

0:52:49 > 0:52:54did. Either they work out, or fixed defenders, straightened their

0:52:54 > 0:52:58shoulders, then release it. It'll be difficult whoever plays at

0:52:58 > 0:53:03full-back. They've got to engage defenders first. The forwards have

0:53:03 > 0:53:10got engaged before the first defenders anyway. You talked about

0:53:10 > 0:53:18the Lydiate thing. Justin will be available for selection. You think

0:53:18 > 0:53:25it will be shingler and Faletau, would you be looking to tinker with

0:53:25 > 0:53:35that?I think if Justin is fit and trained well, I think he just comes

0:53:35 > 0:53:40into the side. He is a quality player. He is a British Lions

0:53:40 > 0:53:46player. He is a more suited seven to the one that we want to play. He did

0:53:46 > 0:53:48well against Australia. He slowed them down a bit. That is something

0:53:48 > 0:54:00to ... Justin will have to concentrate on that. What will the

0:54:00 > 0:54:03message be leading into this week in terms of the New Zealand camp,

0:54:03 > 0:54:09coming into this Welsh game, have you spoken to anybody? They will be

0:54:09 > 0:54:12disappointed they have not been able to consistently put some time on the

0:54:12 > 0:54:13park.

0:54:15 > 0:54:23They are gleeful when they do. When they switched on, two tries on

0:54:23 > 0:54:27Scotland within seven to eight minutes. One with 14 men. They can

0:54:27 > 0:54:33do that to you. They can hurt you. But then they drift out of the game.

0:54:33 > 0:54:39They are seeking that all the time. It wasn't there against the Lions.

0:54:39 > 0:54:42They were outstanding against South Africa in New Zealand. Then they

0:54:42 > 0:54:47switched off for the last part of the game. They are capable of it.

0:54:47 > 0:54:51Someone will feel the brunt of it. They only have one game left to try

0:54:51 > 0:54:56and get it for this season. They have to figure out their balance, to

0:54:56 > 0:54:59get their game plan and synergy to get that consistency. They have

0:54:59 > 0:55:05challenges. They are going to have to bring a relatively new winger in.

0:55:05 > 0:55:14It could be Duffy. And also they have lost Romano. But I think they

0:55:14 > 0:55:20will keep the centre is the same. You were there for the Lions tour,

0:55:20 > 0:55:22will keep the centre is the same. You were there for the Lions tour,,

0:55:22 > 0:55:30and you witnessed the rallies between Hudson and Gatland.I get

0:55:30 > 0:55:37bored of it. A lot of it is detracting attention. People stop

0:55:37 > 0:55:42talking about the issues both teams have been having on the pitch if

0:55:42 > 0:55:48people talk about that. Sorry, I am bored of it.Are you bored of it?

0:55:48 > 0:55:53They've tried to present themselves as best they can out of the

0:55:53 > 0:56:00argument. I don't like it with the New Zealand media dressing them up

0:56:00 > 0:56:03as clowns. I think it is too provocative and they don't need to

0:56:03 > 0:56:06do that. New Zealand are a proud rugby nation so I don't know what

0:56:06 > 0:56:15they are getting involved in the gutter like that. You can be an

0:56:15 > 0:56:17absolute nightmare about it. CHUCKLES

0:56:17 > 0:56:21Identikit will happen. I think they've had enough of each other. --

0:56:21 > 0:56:27I do not think it will happen. All of the action should be on the

0:56:27 > 0:56:34field. I just hope it is a great Test match. We bring our a game.

0:56:34 > 0:56:40They are slightly off it. Hopefully it will be a good game of rugby. I

0:56:40 > 0:56:47enjoy the way New Zealand play. We try to aspire. They are collectively

0:56:47 > 0:56:50great players. They make the decisions, they run good angles, so

0:56:50 > 0:56:56we have to go there and enjoy it, because it can be a pleasure to

0:56:56 > 0:57:01watch them play.Is it too late for Wales to adjust... If you look at

0:57:01 > 0:57:05the way Scotland played, the transition runners, players running

0:57:05 > 0:57:09flat to the line, others at the back...We are running out of time,

0:57:09 > 0:57:15yes or no?I will tell you next week.Thank you very much for your

0:57:15 > 0:57:26time. Jonathan Davies, everyone. Gwyn Jones. Sarah Mockford and. And

0:57:26 > 0:57:31Justin Marshall. Thank you to all of our guests this

0:57:31 > 0:57:37evening. The soap opera is going to continue between Hanson and Gatland.

0:57:37 > 0:57:41Hopefully we will be celebrating a famous victory. Same time next week.

0:57:41 > 0:57:47The last word tonight is from Wales' ultimate fan.Do we dare to dream?

0:57:47 > 0:57:51Surely to aspire to be greater is part of the very fabric that makes

0:57:51 > 0:57:56us human. As a lad I dreamt I would walk out on the Arms Park and play

0:57:56 > 0:58:04for Wales. With countless boys and girls, the length and breadth of our

0:58:04 > 0:58:08country, from Port Talbot to Porthmadog, we share that one dream.

0:58:08 > 0:58:12Gentlemen, when you step out next Saturday to face the All Blacks at

0:58:12 > 0:58:16the Cathedral of rugby, when you step out on that hallowed turf, you

0:58:16 > 0:58:18are living our dream. Now, let's make that dream a reality.

0:58:18 > 0:58:22APPLAUSE
