:00:08. > :00:24.It all begins here in Cardiff. A pivotal night in the Six Nations.

:00:25. > :00:38.Davies, Faletau. Great interplay. Wales 3-0 France. The bounce is

:00:39. > :00:46.everything. And he takes it. Wales remain unbeaten. Faletau does not

:00:47. > :00:48.look delighted. It is a win and they do not look like losing. Which is

:00:49. > :01:01.good enough. Welcome to the programme. Wales are

:01:02. > :01:06.still unbeaten in the Six Nations and they are on a collision course

:01:07. > :01:07.with England in a fortnight 's time. We have another stellar panel for

:01:08. > :01:24.you tonight. Our star at the Barton Ike is Mr

:01:25. > :01:35.James Hoch. We will also be catching up with Wales' women and Wales under

:01:36. > :01:37.20s. And remember this guy? Possibly the second most emotional singer of

:01:38. > :01:48.the national anthem behind Alun Wyn Jones. And he is in the studio

:01:49. > :01:53.tonight. Great to have you in the club. Did you enjoy the game? A win

:01:54. > :01:59.is a win but a lotta work on for Twickenham. Are you feeling

:02:00. > :02:07.emotional tonight? I might just cry tonight. There a box of tissues if

:02:08. > :02:10.it too much for you. Plenty to get through tonight. Let's crack on and

:02:11. > :02:15.remind ourselves exactly what happened tonight though. -- two

:02:16. > :02:26.nights ago. The roof was open and Dan Lydiate

:02:27. > :02:31.was back on the blindside looking for the crunch. Bradley Davies pack

:02:32. > :02:35.down in place of the injured Luke Charteris. Alex Cuthbert got a

:02:36. > :02:46.chance on the wing. France looking for their first victory over Wales

:02:47. > :02:54.since the 2011 World Cup semifinal. Rob Evans. Sam Warburton, the

:02:55. > :03:04.captain, makes ground. Dan Biggar, cleverly behind. Alex Cuthbert

:03:05. > :03:08.chases. 22 drop out. It was clever but there were at least three men

:03:09. > :03:17.over had they just move the ball quicker. Faletau strips the ball and

:03:18. > :03:23.sets off then fires out the Bastereaud Gareth Davies. It was a

:03:24. > :03:34.late hit. Dan Biggar puts Wales into the lead.

:03:35. > :04:20.France over the ball. Now then, that is not a tackle to

:04:21. > :04:24.me. He has not used his arms at all. Francois on the board. Wales 6-3

:04:25. > :04:38.France. Faletau feeds Gareth James. The

:04:39. > :04:47.speed of Gareth Davies. Who is outside him? Another little kick by

:04:48. > :04:54.the scrum-half. He gets a foot there. Liam Williams diving for the

:04:55. > :04:57.try, denied. He is looking for the support and it should be with him. I

:04:58. > :05:18.think the numbers were there. Great tackle. Davies, Roberts. Did

:05:19. > :05:29.not get quite a full head of steam up. It is still there for Wales. No,

:05:30. > :05:49.no. Well taken in the end. That is a tip tackle.

:05:50. > :06:00.He has lost it, a real chance for Wales. Jonathan Davies. Kicks it

:06:01. > :06:03.long. There goes George North. The bounce is everything. The control is

:06:04. > :06:12.everything. A second chance for George North and he takes it that

:06:13. > :06:24.the second bike. An element of luck in that, I think. It is amazing. He

:06:25. > :06:29.has it at the back. On comes the big French drive. Who has the ball?

:06:30. > :06:38.Penalty advantage to France. That is close to a penalty try. Liam

:06:39. > :06:48.Williams arrives. For the corner. Bundled into touch.

:06:49. > :06:58.It is another driving maul, this one has more bite to it. Thrusts of the

:06:59. > :07:12.line. Held up. The hand time in the air allows

:07:13. > :07:29.Wales to get in behind and drive. The surge is good. Has to be,

:07:30. > :07:39.surely. It is a try for France. Too little, too late.

:07:40. > :07:51.So, a comfortable victory on the pitch. This was the verdict off it.

:07:52. > :07:54.It is an ugly way to win a Test match. We kept fighting for

:07:55. > :08:00.territory and could not quite get it but hats off to France, they came

:08:01. > :08:06.for the 80 minutes. The plan was to wear them down. It is a good French

:08:07. > :08:11.team. Fair play to the French, they gave us a good challenge, especially

:08:12. > :08:17.up front. A bit of a scrappy game but a win is a win. I thought it was

:08:18. > :08:21.brilliant. That is what Test match rugby is all about. I thought it was

:08:22. > :08:25.fantastic. We defended brilliantly in the second half. Things that we

:08:26. > :08:35.had worked on in terms of stopping the offload game. And we showed some

:08:36. > :08:37.nice touches in attack. The first time Wales have beaten France five

:08:38. > :08:45.times in a row. I could not be happier. It is a good job I can play

:08:46. > :08:51.rugby. I could not be a footballer. Chase everything, sometimes you

:08:52. > :08:54.think, why am I chasing all these balls and getting nothing in return

:08:55. > :09:00.and sometimes you get a little bit of luck. She was a bit ugly but has

:09:01. > :09:08.a try, I will take it. England next, a fortnight of mind games? The last

:09:09. > :09:14.two years I have not said anything. I try to stay away from the press. I

:09:15. > :09:18.have to do this one because it is part of the contract, otherwise I

:09:19. > :09:23.would not be saying anything now. Eddie will say enough above the

:09:24. > :09:26.others. I think he's brilliant. He gives an opinion and says what he

:09:27. > :09:34.thinks. I have no opinion with what he's saying. It is good for the

:09:35. > :09:38.game. Mixed emotions after the game I think it is fair to say. If you

:09:39. > :09:42.read some of the press and aspects of social media, you would almost be

:09:43. > :09:48.forgiven for thinking we had lost that game. Shouldn't we be happier?

:09:49. > :09:52.I think it is crash with macro harsh to criticise. Before the Warren

:09:53. > :09:57.Gatland era, we would have taken a win against France. People see the

:09:58. > :10:01.team has a lot more talent and expert a lot more. But for me as a

:10:02. > :10:06.Welsh fan and as players, you wonder what more can we do? We go out

:10:07. > :10:12.there, we put our bodies on the line, we win, we are still in late

:10:13. > :10:15.chance for the championship and we are being vilified in the press. It

:10:16. > :10:19.almost does not make sense. It is credit to them that we know they are

:10:20. > :10:24.a better team but the fact that they are winning and ultimately they can

:10:25. > :10:28.still win the champions, if they play that way and beat England,

:10:29. > :10:37.everybody will be up in arms. They will not mind. You look at the

:10:38. > :10:41.stats, a fifth victory in a row against France. Regardless of what

:10:42. > :10:44.you say about the state of this French team, that has not been done

:10:45. > :10:50.since the 1950s. It is all about winning. Warren Gatland said it was

:10:51. > :10:54.a great game. For him, maybe he enjoyed it. They were totally

:10:55. > :10:58.dominant. France were not the best but defensively, I thought France

:10:59. > :11:06.really upped their game. A win is a win. We are on a roll against them.

:11:07. > :11:13.If they win the game next week at Twickenham, that is it, the

:11:14. > :11:18.championship is Wales 's. As Gareth said, it is a big occasion and then

:11:19. > :11:21.the game, they were not a lot of tries so everyone is a little flat

:11:22. > :11:32.coming out of it. But international rugby is all about winning. Let's

:11:33. > :11:39.get a southern hemisphere perspective into this. How do you

:11:40. > :11:46.turn an ugly win into a beautiful win? At the end of the day it is

:11:47. > :11:53.results driven and that is what is happening here. As I say, you just

:11:54. > :11:56.want to see them play a bit better because you know that they can and

:11:57. > :12:00.you know that it is something in them that is restricting them

:12:01. > :12:03.mentally not physically because they are very capable and they have a lot

:12:04. > :12:10.of excitement about them. I think it is more frustrated and with just how

:12:11. > :12:14.they are going about it but we would all sit here and have a win any day

:12:15. > :12:17.of the week. We are all pointing the finger and saying the players should

:12:18. > :12:24.be doing this. The players do what the coach tells them to do. For

:12:25. > :12:28.Warren Gatland to say that was a fantastic game, that highlights what

:12:29. > :12:33.he wanted them to do. He is obviously a defence driven culture.

:12:34. > :12:38.New Zealand know what Wales would throw at them, we do not change the

:12:39. > :12:40.way we are playing. They had opportunities but it is the

:12:41. > :12:42.execution that is letting them opportunities but it is the

:12:43. > :13:00.where they were overlaps and it is the gulf between the hemispheres and

:13:01. > :13:05.the skill levels. Wales are capable but we look at that Gareth Davies

:13:06. > :13:12.chants, it was ace in the leading break but nothing came of it. -- a

:13:13. > :13:18.scintillating break. You have got to be in the middle, coming up there.

:13:19. > :13:21.They are far too deep and then he has to check and that pass has got

:13:22. > :14:55.to go because he has five players out there.

:14:56. > :15:01.to go because he has five players I think everybody is hearing, we

:15:02. > :15:07.want to play expansive, but the reality is, we are not. And like I

:15:08. > :15:11.said earlier, I will hang my hat on this, I would rather win ugly than

:15:12. > :15:20.not when it all. I am more than happy to take that every day of the

:15:21. > :15:25.week. Wales are not attacking in their own half. They are trying to

:15:26. > :15:28.be positioned orientated and if they are down the attacking side, they

:15:29. > :15:32.will attack. If they are on the defence, they are not going to. They

:15:33. > :15:39.want to get territory. How we look at it is we need to attack to get

:15:40. > :15:45.defence rather than kick straightaway. I would agree.

:15:46. > :15:48.Sometimes it does not need to look pretty and if you are getting the

:15:49. > :15:57.results, the other things will start evolving from results. Last year and

:15:58. > :16:03.Wales beating Italy, we played, we scored a ridiculous amount of tries,

:16:04. > :16:08.so we can. Maybe it is a conspiracy theory. Maybe we are keeping our

:16:09. > :16:15.powder dry until Twickenham. I do not know about that. He is a smart

:16:16. > :16:19.man, he is a Kiwi. I think it is very difficult to get out of that

:16:20. > :16:25.mindset and offenders know what they are doing so they push in defence.

:16:26. > :16:32.-- offenders. I would love to see as push in midfield and using Liam and

:16:33. > :16:37.Dan Biggar because you can always pick a defender out who is a forward

:16:38. > :16:49.who is having a breather and just run at him. He has played so little

:16:50. > :16:54.rugby this season but he has come back into the Wales side and he has

:16:55. > :16:59.been near perfect. I do not think there has ever been a question over

:17:00. > :17:04.how well he can play. To have someone like that behind you,

:17:05. > :17:09.realising he's going to catch everything is excellent. He is

:17:10. > :17:16.attacking on scraps at the moment and he is cutting angles off-line

:17:17. > :17:22.and running into brick walls. Most offences will find it hard if...

:17:23. > :17:29.Every 15 wants to be hitting out wide because there is space. At the

:17:30. > :17:34.moment, it is not getting outside of Jonathan Davies. He is playing

:17:35. > :17:40.extremely well with a lack of ball. Use all his frustration after that

:17:41. > :17:47.rate. And he's sitting there just saying, try and pass me the ball.

:17:48. > :17:51.That is why he is playing so well in defence because he's getting excited

:17:52. > :17:59.in defence and attack and his whole game is about enjoyment. He is just

:18:00. > :18:05.playing. Another man would love is just a play is Faletau. He never has

:18:06. > :18:10.a bad game. He was superb again. He does everything well, I feel. He is

:18:11. > :18:19.on top of every stat in the Six Nations. The work he does off the

:18:20. > :18:25.ball, it is just incredible. He gets that one away. He understands, this

:18:26. > :18:29.is against Ireland, they are caught short and you are thinking, this is

:18:30. > :18:34.where you want the Welsh boys to attack, that is a fantastic tackle

:18:35. > :18:40.on a full-back. And watch this, he is the first one there. Everyone was

:18:41. > :18:44.hoping Tom James would score but as he gets tackled, the first one in

:18:45. > :18:47.there to clear out is Faletau. I just think he's a brilliant player

:18:48. > :18:51.and I would love to see him break from the scrum because he has all

:18:52. > :18:58.the skills. His understanding of the game and how he reads it so well,

:18:59. > :19:09.he's never injured. You are trying to curse him. Don't do it. The Welsh

:19:10. > :19:15.hope you just crashed. You told me earlier he is the best number eight

:19:16. > :19:20.in the world. I would agree. He's definitely right up there. For me,

:19:21. > :19:25.it is his workrate. He is just constantly involved in everything.

:19:26. > :19:27.What he does is he does not go to ground really early, he stays on his

:19:28. > :19:34.feet. He has that ability to offload. I would like to see him

:19:35. > :19:38.being supported more and then you would see a lot more off roads and

:19:39. > :19:41.penetration through the centre. Offensively, he just works. When he

:19:42. > :19:48.tackles, he gets up really quickly and goes off the ball. And Sam

:19:49. > :20:01.Warburton also had a great game. Let's have a look at one of the

:20:02. > :20:05.sets. Sam Warburton, straight back to form. Let's go and speak to

:20:06. > :20:16.today's star at the bar, Mr James Hook. Great to see you, James.

:20:17. > :20:22.James, I will talk to you about France because you are well

:20:23. > :20:25.qualified to talk about France, having spent time living out there.

:20:26. > :20:31.People have said this is one of the worst French teams in living memory.

:20:32. > :20:36.What do you make of them? I have senior players, they have got the

:20:37. > :20:50.talent, they are talented boys but they do not click as 18. -- as a

:20:51. > :20:55.team. You can name all these boys, talented players, but they cannot

:20:56. > :20:59.seem to put it together. I think they have to settle on a ten. They

:21:00. > :21:03.seem to have a ten for everyday of the week the minute in France.

:21:04. > :21:07.Settle on one and stick with him. Warren Gatland said he thought it

:21:08. > :21:12.was brilliant. The boys are saying, he would. Will he be saying

:21:13. > :21:18.different things privately to the squad? Will they be disappointed

:21:19. > :21:23.with the discipline? Definitely. They got away with it against

:21:24. > :21:27.France. Against England, Owen Farrell with his goal-kicking, they

:21:28. > :21:31.will be punished. That will definitely be mentioned and it will

:21:32. > :21:35.be a big focus point for them. We have heard sounds from the camp

:21:36. > :21:38.saying they are trained to build a bit more flair into their template.

:21:39. > :21:43.What would you like to see? I think they are trying a little bit but

:21:44. > :21:48.with personnel I Jamie Roberts, he's so good at what he does, he is so

:21:49. > :21:52.direct, he is not a Scott Williams type of player who can play that

:21:53. > :21:55.expansive game. They are not going to change the way the play for

:21:56. > :22:00.England and the foreseeable future either. Thank you, James. We will

:22:01. > :22:04.come back to you later in the programme. The 6-nations stealing

:22:05. > :22:08.all the headlines this weekend but there was a full round-up of Pro12

:22:09. > :22:15.fixtures as well. The race for the play-offs is beginning to heat up.

:22:16. > :22:19.40 tonnes of sand was needed when the champions came to Rodney Parade

:22:20. > :22:25.on Thursday. The Dragons lead at half-time but a 73rd minute try by

:22:26. > :22:32.Duncan Weir helped Glasgow take the spoils. Both teams were enjoying a

:22:33. > :22:37.unbeaten runs before Saturday's match at the sports ground. It was

:22:38. > :22:40.three tries apiece. Rhys Webb 's comeback from injury continues as he

:22:41. > :22:47.made his first start of the season and made his -- scored his first

:22:48. > :22:55.try. There was controversy as Sam Davies' try was ruled out for a

:22:56. > :23:05.double movement. I think the Ospreys will feel very aggrieved if this is

:23:06. > :23:09.not given. It is not. James Davies put in a man of the match

:23:10. > :23:13.performance on his return from injury and scored his try. Last

:23:14. > :23:16.week, the Scarlets beat Ulster and it looked as if they would enjoy

:23:17. > :23:21.another victory in Edinburgh today with three tries in the first half.

:23:22. > :23:24.When they met just over two weeks ago, the Scarlets won by a single

:23:25. > :23:32.point but this time it was Edinburgh. The first half at the

:23:33. > :23:36.Arms Park was a low scoring affair. 6-6 at the break and it looked as if

:23:37. > :23:44.the Blues would lose their second home game in a row. The Blues soon

:23:45. > :23:50.hit back with the try of the match by Rhys Patchell, who scored 18

:23:51. > :23:56.points. Lee-Lo, he is looking to go through the whole. Inside to Rhys

:23:57. > :23:59.Patchell. What a try this will be. Great work from the three quarters

:24:00. > :24:05.line eventually resulting in the try. Irish provinces to get three of

:24:06. > :24:12.the four play-off places with the Scarlets the top Welsh region. It

:24:13. > :24:18.said it highlights of all those matches online. And we are in West

:24:19. > :24:25.Wales next week as the Scarlets take on Treviso. Speaking of the

:24:26. > :24:32.Italians, the national side welcomed Scotland to Rome yesterday. Many

:24:33. > :24:36.were calling this the battle for the Wooden Spoon. Scotland arrived on a

:24:37. > :24:46.nine-game 6-nations losing streak. They may just one change their

:24:47. > :24:50.starting 15. The home side made four changes, and veteran hooker

:24:51. > :25:01.Ghiraldini was restored to the front row. Wilson, abrasive runner, right

:25:02. > :25:10.into the heart of the Italian defence. Tim Visser. Stuart Hogg is

:25:11. > :25:23.just short but what a burst and what a bit of timing. And what a line by

:25:24. > :25:34.John Barclay. Russell. Still Russell, who is on hand? Good work

:25:35. > :25:48.from Dickinson. Into the corner. A try each for the flankers.

:25:49. > :25:57.Sergio Parisse in midfield. This is Garcia. The support is excellent.

:25:58. > :26:25.And Ghiraldini makes it. Johnny Gray. Russell. Seymour on the

:26:26. > :26:32.chase. It looks like an injury but there is a break for Italy. Danger

:26:33. > :26:39.here for Scotland. He spills it. And Scotland off the Hook.

:26:40. > :26:54.Quick ball to work with. Bernardo. Edoardo Gori. Johnny Gray. Standing

:26:55. > :26:56.in his way. Castrogiovanni looking to go round the side and work it

:26:57. > :27:12.over the try line. Italy offside. Penalty advantage

:27:13. > :27:21.being played. Maybe it will be enough for the Scots. Driven back

:27:22. > :27:30.hard in the tackle. Laidlaw. Russell. Taylor. Stuart Hogg. And

:27:31. > :27:37.then goes Seymour. He seals the deal. Putting an end to the misery

:27:38. > :27:43.and lapped, ladies and gentlemen, is a smile. I think we can improve and

:27:44. > :27:49.get better and I think that is the challenge that the players will see

:27:50. > :27:51.and look at and look forward to and there will be a bazaar training.

:27:52. > :27:55.There will be a different atmosphere. I think it just

:27:56. > :28:02.validates a lot of the hard work that has been done. It has only just

:28:03. > :28:07.started. They smile and a big sigh of relief for Vern Cotter. That was

:28:08. > :28:12.Scotland's first championship win for two years. It has been a long

:28:13. > :28:15.time coming. We were talking about Wales, I would rather be in the

:28:16. > :28:19.position that we Ah Van the position that Scotland are in. Be that

:28:20. > :28:26.ecstatic about eating Italy away, you have a realisation that we are

:28:27. > :28:29.in a decent place. The most important thing about yesterday's

:28:30. > :28:32.win it's that they back it up against France because you would

:28:33. > :28:38.expect a team that can reach the quarterfinal of the World Cup, the

:28:39. > :28:45.unlucky not to reach the semifinal, go to Italy and win. The progression

:28:46. > :28:49.comes next week. They have had some real attacking weapons after years

:28:50. > :28:54.of prodding three quarters. Some of them really came to the fore

:28:55. > :28:58.yesterday. Yes, Stuart Hogg played exceptionally well. He is really

:28:59. > :29:04.quick. He counterattacks a lot. He has a great step. This is the first

:29:05. > :29:08.try for John Barclay. He looks to attack from everywhere. And then

:29:09. > :29:14.Finn Russell takes the ball to the line every time. He has an arrogance

:29:15. > :29:19.at ten, which I like. He engages the defenders a lot more as well.

:29:20. > :29:27.Forwards either side of him and then he has distribution. This is a

:29:28. > :29:31.lovely pass. That is the winner. As Alfie said, the relief that you

:29:32. > :29:38.could feel coming through the television... Hopefully that will

:29:39. > :29:41.give them the confidence. They have run sides close but they have made

:29:42. > :29:46.errors all the time and they allow teams back into the game. Once they

:29:47. > :29:48.get into the back -- last ten minutes, they get all nervous and

:29:49. > :29:51.they have lost a lot of games they should have won. Maybe that will

:29:52. > :30:08.give them a lot of hope. Much credit Mizdow today coach? His

:30:09. > :30:12.securing what he wants to, the backlight straightens up from ten

:30:13. > :30:16.and that is difficult to defend as a forward because you know there is

:30:17. > :30:19.that threads are you slow your lines please up, so that is probably

:30:20. > :30:26.catalysts to how they are doing when they go wide. For Kiwi coaches, they

:30:27. > :30:30.need time, three or four years Dexia give what they're trying to do

:30:31. > :30:34.because it is not just the focus on results, it's about a mindset change

:30:35. > :30:38.and installing a culture, not only with the top team, but with the

:30:39. > :30:42.nation so that you are getting talent coming through the entire

:30:43. > :30:47.time. These boys are slowly getting time, Warren has had some time and

:30:48. > :30:51.it will slowly get better with results. I think Scotland will

:30:52. > :30:56.improve and they will probably beat the French, but they will get better

:30:57. > :31:00.next year as well. I don't think they had the player to score tries a

:31:01. > :31:04.few years ago, they didn't know what to do, it always been competitive in

:31:05. > :31:08.the forwards but now the backlight are capable of scoring tries and

:31:09. > :31:12.they will be difference. -- backline. Well done Scotland back to

:31:13. > :31:16.Wales, and Judge Dredd 20s and women both faced French opposition this

:31:17. > :31:20.weekend as well, Beth Clement had a keen eye on both.

:31:21. > :31:40.side. Wales started with intent, the full-back crossing in the qualifier

:31:41. > :31:47.and unconverted try within four minutes. With a Welsh defence

:31:48. > :31:56.holding firm, France change to their forwards, number eight powering over

:31:57. > :32:00.to even the score. The French took the lead early in the second half

:32:01. > :34:41.with a penalty, Another outstanding win for the

:34:42. > :34:45.under 20s and whisper quietly that they're on for a Grand Slam, Dylann

:34:46. > :34:51.Lewis and Harry Killy join me. Congratulations. Dylann, that was

:34:52. > :34:54.the third victory in a row but possibilities which is because it

:34:55. > :34:58.was a top of the table clash? It was definitely good for us to kill and

:34:59. > :35:02.get the result from last year taking it and losing twice, it was a good

:35:03. > :35:09.step for the boys. That try was a thing of beauty from your own try

:35:10. > :35:12.line, you are involved Harry, do not stand by your involvement, is that

:35:13. > :35:16.the kind of philosophy Jason strange is trying to instil? Heads up Robbie

:35:17. > :35:25.Blake? He encourages us to attack the ball, especially on turnover,

:35:26. > :35:28.now that we did, but it wide and really go at teams. That is what

:35:29. > :35:32.we've done well so far this year. You can see some of the dressing

:35:33. > :35:38.room shops, there is clearly a good spirit? You look pretty happy.

:35:39. > :35:42.Explain that. Richard will come in at the beginning of the cab and has

:35:43. > :35:46.brought in some good philosophies, so he has brought in a song from

:35:47. > :35:49.that the end of the game, so the boys are enjoying that at the

:35:50. > :35:54.moment. It looked like it. Congratulations to the under 20s and

:35:55. > :35:56.also congratulations to Wales women, completing the Queens week, three

:35:57. > :36:01.victories against France this weekend, the first family will have

:36:02. > :36:05.done that since 2008. Charlene Harris is with me, congratulations,

:36:06. > :36:09.only a couple of hours ago, it must still be sinking in? Yes, but the

:36:10. > :36:12.girls have been really excited just now. Huge right for us in the middle

:36:13. > :36:19.of the campaign, with bloody campaign wide open, so off the back

:36:20. > :36:24.of this when we have qualified for the World Cup in 2017. Massive news,

:36:25. > :36:30.congratulations, it has blown the competition open, as you say.

:36:31. > :36:34.APPLAUSE It has blown the Six Nations opener

:36:35. > :36:37.because you are now joined second along with France, England are top

:36:38. > :36:44.and you have them next, could be a title? I don't want to jinx it. We

:36:45. > :36:49.will take every game as it comes, but again, last year we began, St

:36:50. > :36:54.Helens and off the win today against France were going into that game

:36:55. > :36:58.with more confidence behind us. That is two weeks on and it's a lot of

:36:59. > :37:02.time for us to work on some things as well. Best of luck, you have the

:37:03. > :37:08.back -- backing of everyone here and the entire country, so do the under

:37:09. > :37:12.20s. Those move on and see how Eddie Jones does make England fear against

:37:13. > :37:16.Ireland but now it's time for did you see that? They were nothing on

:37:17. > :37:26.the pitch but dominate our awards like the French connection, our

:37:27. > :37:32.first category. Moshiri Francois and his comedy moustache. George North

:37:33. > :37:45.and his footballing skills, or not. Nice one, George. Congratulations

:37:46. > :37:55.Robin McBride. Step forward Mike Brown, the lock. Three nominations,

:37:56. > :38:01.French under 20s when Gabriel and randomly for a well-deserved red

:38:02. > :38:09.card. A page of Frenchman for those and 20 years is not for those anthem

:38:10. > :38:10.tears but the gong goes to Mr Francois, who has swept the board

:38:11. > :38:24.this weekend. Let's get back to the action and

:38:25. > :38:26.Ireland without a win after two rounds were hoping to get off the

:38:27. > :38:36.mark when they took an unbeaten England. It was England's first run

:38:37. > :38:41.out at Twickenham since they crashed out of the World Cup 149 days ago,

:38:42. > :38:45.highly regarded Saracens forward Mahrez today made his first England

:38:46. > :38:49.start. Eddie Jones had fired things up when he questioned Johnny

:38:50. > :38:54.Sexton's fitness in the week. Joe Schmidt made five changes and debuts

:38:55. > :39:04.for centres during the costly and openside just van der Spuy it. Here

:39:05. > :39:09.comes the driving ball for England, just halted for a moment. You have

:39:10. > :39:12.used that men used it once, Young's looked at other things available,

:39:13. > :39:19.little fumble at the back. Vunipola is a way, nobody knows why he

:39:20. > :39:26.stopped there. Vunipola crashing to the line, just out of the corner.

:39:27. > :39:34.Andrew Trimble did his best to act like a speed bump. There is a very

:39:35. > :39:40.ball again, and early test of what a man he is. What a power, eventually

:39:41. > :39:45.taking down. England coming forward, and it George is there, getting

:39:46. > :39:49.closer. Partly in the grass and England up to the line, just short.

:39:50. > :39:56.They have it over, right on the line. The referee will look, it

:39:57. > :40:04.might well be a try. You can see clearly a hand under the ball there.

:40:05. > :40:09.No try. England knocking away again on the door and nearly getting

:40:10. > :40:14.through, I live's defence is being tested. Haskel drives over, cannot

:40:15. > :40:17.quite get it down, just as he went to stretch and get it over the try

:40:18. > :40:26.line he was repelled and England have to try again.

:40:27. > :40:34.That one goes to stand and on from Ireland.

:40:35. > :40:45.Foul play against white. Haskel is off, England stand of 14 men for the

:40:46. > :40:52.next ten minutes. The green shirts come thundering in again. Another

:40:53. > :40:55.advantage penalty coming for Ireland because Chris Robshaw is coming from

:40:56. > :40:58.the site, Ireland are driving towards the light, they are just

:40:59. > :41:03.short. Conor Murray looking down the blindside. Throwing himself through

:41:04. > :41:10.and he has got there, it is a try for Ireland. England closing in on

:41:11. > :41:20.the Ireland line once again, they trailed by one point. The gaps

:41:21. > :41:24.beginning to appear, but then the ball is spilled. It goes wide, it

:41:25. > :41:35.will be a try. It is Anthony Watson who scores. Real pace about England

:41:36. > :41:40.now. Once more, over the head of Haskel to Farrell. It will be a try,

:41:41. > :41:56.Mike Brown this time, Brown is in. Nice little 1- do with Sexton out

:41:57. > :42:00.into the open, wonderful play. Headshot for the line, what drives

:42:01. > :42:10.this will be. No! Jag nor was covering tackle. What a moment in

:42:11. > :42:15.this match. Seven minutes reining in this game, trying to barge their way

:42:16. > :42:20.over, one was there. Van der Spuy, can he get its down? They celebrate,

:42:21. > :42:29.but England say they are under the ball. There is no clear evidence

:42:30. > :42:32.that the ball was grounded. We were just not clinical enough, we allowed

:42:33. > :42:37.them to get a hand in at the break which slowed the ball down, made

:42:38. > :42:42.some bad choices in front of the goal line, but they are things we

:42:43. > :42:46.will improve on. This core was 21-10, we probably left ten or 15

:42:47. > :42:50.points out, there is not a bad effort. Wales next on how much do

:42:51. > :42:54.look forward to going to order told Warren Gatland? I told them at ago

:42:55. > :42:59.that I will put a self-imposed media ban on myself so I will let Warren

:43:00. > :43:06.do the talking. You won't be able to help yourself! I well, don't worry.

:43:07. > :43:09.We will see about that, the victory means England are the only deemed of

:43:10. > :43:16.13 from three in is your's tournament and the only seem to be

:43:17. > :43:19.marketing still capable of Ram Slam, England against Wales is a big game

:43:20. > :43:23.in the scheme of things. First verse is second and a probable winner

:43:24. > :43:27.takes all. France dropped a third and Scotland leapfrog Ireland, who

:43:28. > :43:33.have yet to record a win in this year's tournament. England ruled on

:43:34. > :43:38.three from three, had he been impressed in what you seem? That was

:43:39. > :43:43.probably the best match of the Six Nations so far. The Eddie Johnson

:43:44. > :43:49.Warren Gatland thing is humorous, the Apple is having fun, look at how

:43:50. > :43:58.relaxed they are. It is a different feel for what you use to. For me

:43:59. > :44:02.what is showing, England scoring tries where they just walk it in,

:44:03. > :44:06.meaning they are minute policing the defence so that they are getting the

:44:07. > :44:12.numbers and is all going in for me you can slowly see Eddie Jones's

:44:13. > :44:16.ethos coming through, you have the -- belly full Ebola running wide and

:44:17. > :44:22.making enormous breaks and your number nine challenging around the

:44:23. > :44:29.defence. Ayes Billy Vunipola. -- you have been the Vunipola. They're

:44:30. > :44:35.playing what they can see and can gobble size. It hurts to say this

:44:36. > :44:42.but they are looking quite good. Ominously so? Of improving game on

:44:43. > :44:48.game? Yes, I think they have, part of me was glad they won yesterday

:44:49. > :44:51.because it helps build up for the game to be interesting, especially

:44:52. > :44:56.with England going for the Grand Slam. They have improved and they

:44:57. > :44:59.have kind of gone back to a bit of a basic and have played a very

:45:00. > :45:04.powerful game, they are very strong but because they have 12 complete

:45:05. > :45:07.ten and two playmakers able to get the ball in a wide channel quickly,

:45:08. > :45:12.that is where they make their numbers, if you're the Vunipola

:45:13. > :45:18.making yards and it's easy to get white, I think Wales for the next

:45:19. > :45:21.game will have to come the want to beat England, do something different

:45:22. > :45:26.because I don't think we can beat England up, those days are gone. It

:45:27. > :45:30.is a good England team and you have to bring something out. That we

:45:31. > :45:33.haven't expected or seen yet from Wales. You mention Farrell, there

:45:34. > :45:36.were doubts about whether they would work in the same backline is a

:45:37. > :45:41.former attend you think it is working? Yes, they have played

:45:42. > :45:45.together, rugby league backgrounds, they play flats to the line but I

:45:46. > :45:54.think Farrell helps straighten up the attack, the scrum-half gives the

:45:55. > :46:00.defence honest, then they distribute. Vunipola does the big

:46:01. > :46:05.yards, again, defensively Jamie Roberts going down ten or 12 channel

:46:06. > :46:10.against them is I agree with the boys, then they scorer wide quickly,

:46:11. > :46:16.it is pointless trying to bash them, just smash over ten and 12. They

:46:17. > :46:22.will have to defend Jamie in numbers, cannot see one of those

:46:23. > :46:27.boys taking it down on their own. There will be an overlap somewhere.

:46:28. > :46:35.Might we see the return of mild to allow any? Rumoured specifically for

:46:36. > :46:39.the Wales game? -- Tuilagi. You don't want to sledger team to

:46:40. > :46:45.counteract this threat of Wales come select your team to beat Wales. Joe

:46:46. > :46:50.Worsley played against Wales and they picked him to play him then and

:46:51. > :46:54.they won that game. Because, I think, they have such a dangerous

:46:55. > :46:59.backline, you can almost come yet to Langley can play about you might

:47:00. > :47:04.take the threat away if you bring it into him. I would love to see, and

:47:05. > :47:11.I've played with Jamie, what he does for Wales, he does it well. -- to

:47:12. > :47:19.Langley. The gift can pass everyone is expecting him to go down, give

:47:20. > :47:21.him a reason to play and a reason to pass and have a go, rather than

:47:22. > :47:29.being in the background, which he does well. As a decoy? They cannot

:47:30. > :47:33.bring him into making visionary bench but he will not do that, it's

:47:34. > :47:38.not what Eddie Jones is about, he does not believe in stars come will

:47:39. > :47:42.not do that. My thing for Wales is to use Jamie with options, if he

:47:43. > :47:46.will crash, have an option at the back because the only way you beat

:47:47. > :47:49.the defence these days is to make the defender mentally challenged

:47:50. > :47:53.himself, he has got to choose if he is going there are there and if he

:47:54. > :47:57.makes the wrong choice then you are through, that is the problem with

:47:58. > :48:00.the Welsh backline, there are challenging them. Hold that thought,

:48:01. > :48:04.we will come back to this but we want is big but the Eddie Jones

:48:05. > :48:07.affects, three games under him now, Sean Holley has been taking a close

:48:08. > :48:11.look at what is making England's tech.

:48:12. > :48:16.England have become the team to beat and they are still smarting from the

:48:17. > :48:21.World Cup, but they are different animal than they were then and Wales

:48:22. > :48:28.will have to be wary of their basic but very effective tactics. Both the

:48:29. > :48:36.Vunipola brothers are weapons for England. Especially up the short

:48:37. > :48:43.line-out. And they find themselves costing havoc in the wide challenge

:48:44. > :48:49.is -- channels as well. A chance from Billy Vunipola to use all of

:48:50. > :48:57.that might. Lovely off-load to score against Italy, then his brother out

:48:58. > :49:00.in the Channel 4 at prop, great skills to score against Scotland.

:49:01. > :49:07.Another renowned Saracen 's way is now the England way, with pressure

:49:08. > :49:12.built by kick and chase, George Ford pumps the ball in the air, isolating

:49:13. > :49:16.the back three players come on to using centres and full-back great

:49:17. > :49:23.turnover, resulting in a try. At the other end of the field, the full --

:49:24. > :49:27.will pack defence cheese is crucial, getting the kicker and hunting them

:49:28. > :49:31.down for turnovers, creating their tries. They do not get a try then

:49:32. > :49:36.they have a back four ready to attack and with people like Watson

:49:37. > :49:41.and Mike Brown, they are real force. Stewart Hogg is trapped again, they

:49:42. > :49:46.are very clever and ball outside his kicking foot and force him back

:49:47. > :49:50.inside to strength. But England's subtle attack in shape with Ford and

:49:51. > :49:52.Farrell as a combination takes the ball hard line. Look how close Ford

:49:53. > :50:14.England claim the try. Now we know gets to the

:50:15. > :50:18.England claim the try. Now we know about Dylann Hartley's disciplinary

:50:19. > :50:21.record but I think Wales can pressure Hezbollah was welcome it

:50:22. > :50:24.has happened in the early games and he gets frustrated, look at his

:50:25. > :50:32.petulant response to miss line-out throw here. -- can pressure him

:50:33. > :58:42.early game. Wingers Wales have won! Williams scores a

:58:43. > :58:45.try to take Wales to their Triple Crown at Twickenham.
