:00:30. > :00:37.Good evening. Two more quarterfinal places you for grabs at the 2016

:00:38. > :00:43.Welsh Open and it has been a mixed day for Wales. One rising star

:00:44. > :00:47.through to the last eight while the veteran Mark Williams is on his way

:00:48. > :00:51.home. Mark Selby was pushed all the way by home favourite Williams, but

:00:52. > :00:56.two centuries and three frames helped the number one confirm his

:00:57. > :00:59.play in the quarterfinal. APPLAUSE

:01:00. > :01:05.I'm really happy. The start of the match was a little bit edgy, but

:01:06. > :01:13.when I won the second frame. Overall I thought it was a really good

:01:14. > :01:21.match. Next up for the Leicester from jester, old time add

:01:22. > :01:26.certificate sari, Ronnie O'Sullivan -- adversary.

:01:27. > :01:32.It could have been a different match. It is what I do when a player

:01:33. > :01:36.does that. Can I hold on to him? I'm not sure I have got the hardened

:01:37. > :01:42.match play background behind me yet to mix it, but who knows? I'm just

:01:43. > :01:46.trying my best every match and I played four really good frames and

:01:47. > :01:58.the frames that I won. John Higgins is out. Suffering a 4-1 defeat to

:01:59. > :02:03.Mike ale Human Right -- Michael White.

:02:04. > :02:07.It is up there with the best wins of my career. Very relaxed I was today.

:02:08. > :02:11.I don't know why that was. I felt that way since I got out of bed this

:02:12. > :02:19.morning. I went out there and I tried to enjoy it. And luckily for

:02:20. > :02:28.me, I came out on top. So here is the last 16:

:02:29. > :02:39.Neil Robertson with a 4-1 win over Marco Fu. Ronnie O'Sullivan with

:02:40. > :02:44.that 4-1 win over Yu Delu. Martin Gould beaten 4-1 by last year's

:02:45. > :02:59.runner-up, Ben Woollaston. We have had another absorbing

:03:00. > :03:03.afternoon of snooker in Cardiff. Mixed emotions with Mark Williams

:03:04. > :03:08.going out of the competition this afternoon, but what an achievement

:03:09. > :03:15.for Michael White. How do you sum that up? He played very well last

:03:16. > :03:18.night. He is playing some of his best snooker here and he is

:03:19. > :03:22.definitely going to win the tournament! You've got your money on

:03:23. > :03:26.him. We heard Ronnie O'Sullivan bigging him up and saying he is a

:03:27. > :03:30.future champion in Whales. He has got everything he needs. Would you

:03:31. > :03:35.agree with that? Can he go all the way? Very much so. I have known him

:03:36. > :03:39.since he was a young lad. The one thing he has got is a winner. He is

:03:40. > :03:43.that type of person and he worked very hard on his gim. He practises a

:03:44. > :03:49.lot, you know, and he is a modern day player. He goes for the shot. He

:03:50. > :03:52.commits himself to everything. Fully commits irrespective of what is

:03:53. > :03:57.happening and when he is on his best game he is a handful for anybody.

:03:58. > :04:01.Mark Williams disappointment for him, but he came up against Mark

:04:02. > :04:08.Selby in inspired form? Well, Mark didn't play as well as yesterday,

:04:09. > :04:14.but a few people told me he did play OK today, but Mark Selby is a tough

:04:15. > :04:14.opponent for anybody. Ronnie O'Sullivan, another snooker

:04:15. > :06:53.He is up against a man who plays his own brand of naughty snooker. Four

:06:54. > :06:58.titles to his name. One of the most talented players in the world of

:06:59. > :07:09.snooker. Make some noise for the incredible Judd Trump.

:07:10. > :07:21.APPLAUSE The two players are out. Our team

:07:22. > :07:29.calling the action is Iain Watson and Dominic Dale. A fantastic

:07:30. > :07:35.occasion that both players had. There is a quarterfinal place on

:07:36. > :07:42.offer. Not much to choose between both players really. Judd Trump,

:07:43. > :07:46.ranked sixth in the world and Joe Perry ranked tenth. There is only

:07:47. > :07:54.four spots between them. What is quite interesting is on five

:07:55. > :07:58.previous appearances playing together, Judd Trump has been the

:07:59. > :08:09.winner on all five. So Joe Perry will have a point to prove tonight,

:08:10. > :08:14.I'm sure. Do Marks, what are you -- Do Marks, what are you thinking on

:08:15. > :08:17.this one. Best of seven. Who are you going to go with? Well, it is

:08:18. > :08:21.difficult to choose really. There is lots to play for this evening, a

:08:22. > :08:27.quarterfinal place, I'm sure Joe Perry won't be phased by the fact

:08:28. > :08:32.that he hasn't beaten Judd Trump in five previous meetings. Four of them

:08:33. > :08:38.were over the best of seven encounters. So you could read

:08:39. > :08:45.something into that and if Joe starts badly, he might think about

:08:46. > :08:49.the fact that he hasn't beaten Judd Trump before. He will know today is

:08:50. > :09:07.a new day with another opportunity to get one over on Judd Trump.

:09:08. > :09:14.He is going to get his little extension. He is a very tall lad,

:09:15. > :09:19.Joe Perry. He is very well liked on the circuit. He is a real nice

:09:20. > :09:34.fella. That cue ball has just gone away

:09:35. > :09:40.from him. This will be Joe Perry's first match on this match table. He

:09:41. > :09:51.played on the back tables. They will have played a lot different. This

:09:52. > :09:55.match table will play again different to the others. I don't

:09:56. > :10:03.know why that quite is. The same sort of lights of the same heating

:10:04. > :10:09.system on there, but this table is definitely playing faster than the

:10:10. > :10:13.rest. Yes, we just saw a brief glimpse of the set-up. The other

:10:14. > :10:17.table isn't being used at the moment, but it was earlier. I have

:10:18. > :10:20.noticed strangely enough that the other table to our left here at the

:10:21. > :10:25.commentary box, the cushions don't seem to be as quick as they are on

:10:26. > :10:30.this table here, table one, the main match table, I suppose, we could

:10:31. > :10:37.call it. I'm sure the cloth has come off the same roll. The only reason I

:10:38. > :10:43.can think of why two tables would play slightly differently all the

:10:44. > :10:47.other tables that we have been using in the Welsh Open, they are in close

:10:48. > :10:52.proximity to each other and there is the television tables and there is a

:10:53. > :10:56.lot of room behind it and there is light canopies above causing a lot

:10:57. > :11:01.of heat, but you know, yourself, Darren, you've played out there on

:11:02. > :11:03.the big stage for many years in your career, the television table always

:11:04. > :11:14.plays fantastically well, doesn't it? Yes, it does and... Watching at

:11:15. > :11:19.home members of my club and that, they see balls going in in-off the

:11:20. > :11:24.knuckles and they think the pockets are big, but they're not. They are

:11:25. > :11:30.very, very tight, it is just because the leathers in the pockets are so

:11:31. > :11:36.crisp and bright. It gives you that assumption that the pockets are

:11:37. > :11:37.bigger, but really, really tight. They are beautiful tables to play

:11:38. > :11:53.on. In the club, sometimes, even though

:11:54. > :11:55.you're playing snooker, you need a golf ball to get it around -- golf

:11:56. > :12:29.club to get it around. Well, if Joe had of studied those

:12:30. > :12:32.reds that he made contact with he might have known this was going near

:12:33. > :12:37.the right corner, but it is covered by the other red above it, but I

:12:38. > :12:47.think Joe can still pot this off the cushion. Too thin.

:12:48. > :12:52.A chance for Joe Perry here. If he can get on the black, on the low

:12:53. > :13:02.side, he maybe able to get into the red. That's what he'd like to do.

:13:03. > :13:06.Well, maybe he can actually get through to the red that's on the

:13:07. > :13:11.plaque spot now. The problem is he would have to tread a path for a

:13:12. > :13:36.colour. The first real opportunity to Joe

:13:37. > :13:41.Perry then. We have seen some wonderful snooker

:13:42. > :14:00.this week here at this Welsh Open. A capacity crowd in tonight.

:14:01. > :14:11.They are all hoping to see something a little bit special and wonderful.

:14:12. > :14:14.Two people in particular, Ricky Coles and bethen are celebrating

:14:15. > :14:20.their third wedding anniversary tonight and they've come to watch

:14:21. > :14:23.snooker! I hope she is the avid fan otherwise he could be in the dog

:14:24. > :14:31.house! Third anniversary, coming to see a

:14:32. > :14:52.snooker match. Well, he missed that by a long way, Joe Perry.

:14:53. > :15:05.That's OK. He just sort of give it a bit of a smash and hoped for the

:15:06. > :15:12.best, but it has finished very good on this yellow. Yes, Darren that's

:15:13. > :15:16.why I love watching Judd Trump, you never quite know what he's going to

:15:17. > :15:21.play next. I think he and Ronnie O'Sullivan are two of the game's

:15:22. > :15:27.most exciting players, but I would have to say Ronnie O'Sullivan oozes

:15:28. > :15:37.class and Judd, well, he plays sort of a cross between snooker and

:15:38. > :15:48.9-ball pool. I as a fellow professional love watching and love

:15:49. > :15:54.playing against him. Yes, I think it is fair to say that Judd Trump is

:15:55. > :16:00.probably, without being cruel to anybody else, he is the only other

:16:01. > :16:10.person to rival Ronnie O'Sullivan in the excitement stakes. There are new

:16:11. > :16:16.players coming along. He has carved a niche for himself as well, the

:16:17. > :16:20.same as Ronnie. Obviously not quite as consistent as Ronnie has been

:16:21. > :16:27.over the years and quite as prolific, but when he's on his game,

:16:28. > :16:55.they don't come any better than Judd Trump.

:16:56. > :17:02.We can see the ball jump there. Judd hasn't got a choice, he has one into

:17:03. > :17:14.the centre and one into the right corner. Maybe, he will be able to

:17:15. > :17:21.hold for the pink off this red. Yes, he played it well. If he goes on to

:17:22. > :17:22.win this first frame, Judd, from this opportunity, I think Joe Perry

:17:23. > :18:19.will rue that easy missed red. That brown is in the way for him

:18:20. > :18:31.just to stun past for this red down towards the green. He played a

:18:32. > :18:40.clever controlled cannon. He made it a little bit more difficult than the

:18:41. > :18:51.shot should have been. That was well played.

:18:52. > :18:57.He is dead straight on this pink, Judd. He really did control that one

:18:58. > :19:02.well. Sometimes being dead straight on your next ball isn't ideal, but I

:19:03. > :19:12.think he will be all right in this case. Normally I'd say Judd doesn't

:19:13. > :19:18.have the cue ball control of a lot of the top players and certainly not

:19:19. > :19:22.Ronnie O'Sullivan or Marco Fu whose cue ball control is normally

:19:23. > :20:04.fantastic, but he pots so well. That's his biggest ally.

:20:05. > :20:27.APPLAUSE That black for the frame ball for Judd. It is a short sprint

:20:28. > :20:34.to the best of seven. He goes to 69. A chance of a century

:20:35. > :20:37.in the first frame here. The difficulty for Judd is a ball that

:20:38. > :20:42.he himself knocked to that side cushion earlier on in the break.

:20:43. > :20:45.This is the red that Joe missed. Trying to force the angel across to

:20:46. > :20:53.cannon the red to leave himself on the black. He seemed rather bemused

:20:54. > :21:00.when he missed that red, Joe Perry, but as Judd misses that pink, he

:21:01. > :21:03.won't worry that. Judd Trump leads by 1-0.

:21:04. > :21:10.A solid start by Judd Trump, Terry. He is one of the few modern stars of

:21:11. > :21:15.the game, I suppose, not to have got his hands on the Welsh Open trophy,

:21:16. > :21:20.is he playing well enough to go all the way, do you think? I remember

:21:21. > :21:24.him coming to the Welsh Open, his first appearance in a venue and he

:21:25. > :21:30.came up from Bristol into Newport, he came up at 12 o'clock and I said,

:21:31. > :21:35."When are you on?" He said seven o'clock and I didn't say to him, he

:21:36. > :21:38.shouldn't have come so early, he was so excited, he lost anyway. He is an

:21:39. > :21:43.exceptional player. I've got to say that. He hasn't won a lot of ranking

:21:44. > :21:50.events, he won the UK Championships, which is one of the majors, but I

:21:51. > :21:54.feel he should be winning more with the skill level he won. It has been

:21:55. > :21:59.a couple of years since he won one? It is the big ones that he really

:22:00. > :22:04.wants, the World Championships, the Masters. He had a wonderful

:22:05. > :22:08.performance against Mark Allen a number of years ago, it was a great

:22:09. > :22:13.match. He hasn't pushed on from there and I feel that he should be

:22:14. > :22:17.pushing on to be honest. He is very attractive to watch playing, but he

:22:18. > :22:22.has got a lovely demeanour around the table, but his potting is just

:22:23. > :22:26.outstanding and his control of the cue ball. I think the power that he

:22:27. > :22:30.has got is as good as anybody I have ever seen. Some attractive shoes on

:22:31. > :22:34.tonight, as well, Judd Trump, but it is Joe Perry to break in this second

:22:35. > :24:47.frame with Trump leading 1-0. The wrong side of the blue. So there

:24:48. > :24:54.is still a bit of work to be done. He has got a red near to this right

:24:55. > :25:00.corner, so he doesn't fancy going out of the baulk area. He will just

:25:01. > :25:05.play a drag back and roll the red down the cushion. Judd Trump is

:25:06. > :25:22.blessed with an abundance of cue power. He is having a little look.

:25:23. > :25:34.He feels the ball is close enough to the corner pocket. Be unmissable and

:25:35. > :25:39.again, he doesn't lack power. If this black doesn't go up the left

:25:40. > :25:46.corner, he will be doing a deep screw.

:25:47. > :25:49.Well, he tried to drag up for the blue and he hasn't quite got into

:25:50. > :26:02.it. I didn't detect a kick, but I think

:26:03. > :26:09.Judd was rather surprised he didn't get more out of that. This is what I

:26:10. > :26:16.say about Judd, he doesn't control the cue ball as well as other top

:26:17. > :26:20.players do. He pots so well. He covers so many of the awkward

:26:21. > :26:25.situations he leaves himself in, unfortunately it is just the safety

:26:26. > :26:49.shot. It will end at 32, but a useful lead nevertheless.

:26:50. > :26:59.APPLAUSE He is keeping the pressure on Joe Perry. The only shot Joe has

:27:00. > :27:12.got here is to play the red to the right of the black.

:27:13. > :27:26.He pushed this red down the table. It is a thin snick, but I think Judd

:27:27. > :27:37.can get the pot in. It is very thin mind. No problem whatsoever.

:27:38. > :27:54.APPLAUSE Just overran for the pink there,

:27:55. > :28:00.Judd. I suppose he could find his way back on to a red using the pink,

:28:01. > :28:04.but he could cannon the red below and hold for a choice of reds in

:28:05. > :28:07.either corner. He has come back to look at the pink. He will probably

:28:08. > :28:16.play for red. What's he going to play here, I wonder?

:28:17. > :28:21.He leaves this to run. It is running. It's running. It has done

:28:22. > :28:28.well. That's an excellent shot from Judd. Beautifully judged.

:28:29. > :28:50.APPLAUSE Getting the long tackle out. He has

:28:51. > :28:55.got to make sure of the pot on the black. It will cannon on to the red.

:28:56. > :29:11.It should leave him nicely on the one nearest the pocket. Like a

:29:12. > :29:19.fishing rod now. It is that long. Years ago, we didn't have these

:29:20. > :29:27.extensions. We used to have the real old stuff with like 11, 12 Marks il

:29:28. > :29:31.tip on the end. You had to chalk it to make sure you didn't miscue. It

:29:32. > :29:36.is amazing how things have come on. An extended spider then that was.

:29:37. > :29:39.You would have had to climb on the table years ago. Both feet off the

:29:40. > :29:58.ground. Yeah, in the old days with the old

:29:59. > :30:02.light shades with the canopies above the table which were only

:30:03. > :30:06.two-and-a-half feet from the bed and when you played a shot with the

:30:07. > :30:10.spider, you were so elevated that you couldn't see through the shade

:30:11. > :30:16.the shot you were playing, but we did away with the long butt and the

:30:17. > :30:25.half butt, it must be three years ago I would have thought. World

:30:26. > :30:33.Snooker our governing body ensures every has joints in their accuse to

:30:34. > :30:40.take extensions. They were never in use so they did away with them.

:30:41. > :30:50.He must have had a bit of a kick there. But it does not look like it

:30:51. > :30:56.on the replay. Expected the cue ball to have travelled through a little

:30:57. > :30:59.bit further. He is a long way behind. There is more than enough

:31:00. > :31:20.left on the table. Trouble is, he has not had much

:31:21. > :31:33.table time. And the last time he had a pot, he missed it. And it was

:31:34. > :31:41.very, very easy. That's a great shot by Joe Perry. Importing that, he

:31:42. > :31:45.will have forgotten the one he missed in the previous frame. -- in

:31:46. > :32:17.potting that. It is a very good chance this, for

:32:18. > :32:26.Joe. In potting this one, he will clear the pink into the corner. The

:32:27. > :32:33.only awkward red is the one near this corner. But with the black on

:32:34. > :33:13.its spot, it should not be that much of a problem.

:33:14. > :33:19.This is going to be the shot. If this goes in and he gets on the

:33:20. > :33:25.black, you can say this has turned into a real frame-winning chance.

:33:26. > :34:08.And he has played it very confidently.

:34:09. > :34:16.The work will begin for Joe Perry shortly. He needs a good angle to

:34:17. > :34:27.get onto the yellow. He could screw back for the blue. Sticking with the

:34:28. > :34:31.pink. This looks a bit straight. He does not want to be on the blue side

:34:32. > :34:37.of the yellow, because importing it, he will probably cannon the green.

:34:38. > :34:44.He wants to be as straight as he can to screw back behind the green.

:34:45. > :34:54.That cannon on the blue, I don't think that is a problem.

:34:55. > :35:21.Depends how straight he is on the yellow. Perfect.

:35:22. > :35:30.He cued that very well. Awkward cueing over the blue. That is the

:35:31. > :35:42.problem with this green. Pressure on this one.

:35:43. > :35:55.Again, just floated it in. This has been a real good effort from Joe

:35:56. > :36:08.Perry. He will be feeling so much better inside.

:36:09. > :36:21.Judd Trump, he knows this frame should have been his.

:36:22. > :36:30.What a fantastic break of 70 that was by Joe Perry. It looked as if

:36:31. > :36:43.Joe Trump was going to take a 2-0 lead. But it is now all square.

:36:44. > :36:47.Well, this missed black, he will be sitting there thinking, how did I

:36:48. > :36:52.miss that? It was the previous shot, really. Should have been a lot

:36:53. > :37:03.easier on this black. Was there a slight kick? It does not appear so.

:37:04. > :37:07.But he has missed it while long way. Judging by his demeanour, he did not

:37:08. > :37:14.cannon the red he was intending to, he either knew he had misjudged it

:37:15. > :37:19.straightaway or it was a kick. I think we will just have to say it

:37:20. > :37:26.was not one of his best shots. As for Joe Perry, he did not show any

:37:27. > :37:30.signs of making a break like that, going on the first frame, when he

:37:31. > :37:34.missed so many pots. And that will really fill him with confidence.

:37:35. > :37:47.Interesting match we have got here now. Yes, that is one thing you have

:37:48. > :37:55.to say about Joe Perry - he does not lack bottle. He stroked in a lovely

:37:56. > :39:20.green which could have gone wrong. REFEREE: Foul, and a miss. Joe

:39:21. > :39:29.Perry, four. That was such a hard shot for him to

:39:30. > :39:56.attempt. He merely fluked that one. But he

:39:57. > :39:59.came right across it. A lot of movement there. He put his shoulder

:40:00. > :40:26.into that one. I'm sure Judd is now thinking of

:40:27. > :40:33.getting high side on the blue, in order to go into the reds. He

:40:34. > :40:36.normally hits these harder than just about every other professional on

:40:37. > :40:44.the tour. Let's see how hard he hits this one... Yes. Bludgeoned.

:40:45. > :41:08.You're right, Nick. He does hit them hard. He will settle for that. And

:41:09. > :41:13.he freed up the black, all in one. He has got to hit the pink foot in

:41:14. > :43:10.the face when playing it at pace, like that. -- full in the face.

:43:11. > :43:24.One thing is for certain - he has not let the disappointment of the

:43:25. > :43:30.last frame get him down. This has been very confident indeed. He has a

:43:31. > :43:50.couple of choices of reds here. Well... Everything was going so well

:43:51. > :43:56.and looking so good. That is all because he was concentrating on the

:43:57. > :44:15.cannon with the black. Just took his eyes off the red.

:44:16. > :44:29.Fortunately this time for Judd, he has not left his opponent an easy

:44:30. > :44:33.red. But if Joe does get an opportunity, given the position of

:44:34. > :44:34.the reds at the moment, it would be similar to the task which he faced

:44:35. > :44:43.in the last frame. And here is that chance. Another

:44:44. > :45:02.safety error from Joe has had a bit of a smile. I

:45:03. > :45:04.think he has but a chance of a red, but it is not the one he was hoping

:45:05. > :45:30.to be able to play. Judd has been very fortunate here, I

:45:31. > :45:32.think. You would have thought he had left his opponent right in amongst

:45:33. > :46:03.them. He is looking at the thin red down

:46:04. > :46:13.the cush. This must be really tight. The one to the right of the pink I

:46:14. > :46:18.think definitely does go. But he obviously does not like that option.

:46:19. > :46:27.He would have to screw back for the blue off it.

:46:28. > :46:39.Good effort. You have to consider with where Judd left the cue ball,

:46:40. > :47:03.that he left nothing easy on. That is quite unbelievable. He

:47:04. > :47:07.played the worst safety shot you could possibly imagine and he has

:47:08. > :47:10.got away with it. The very next shot, he is smack in amongst the

:47:11. > :47:30.balls himself. Very fortunate, it has to be said.

:47:31. > :47:41.It is incredible how many little half kicks there are out there at

:47:42. > :47:49.the moment. Nearly every shot. There is another one. Short on the blue.

:47:50. > :47:59.But just needs the blue and one more red to take a 2-1 lead. And that one

:48:00. > :48:25.has rebounded rather quickly. This is frame ball.

:48:26. > :49:28.Well, it will not matter about the red. The break of 35, in combination

:49:29. > :49:33.with his earlier 46, takes him into a 2-1 lead.

:49:34. > :49:47.We thought earlier, Terry, that when Trump missed a red but it might

:49:48. > :49:52.prove crucial. Yes, he played a safety shot very badly, and covered

:49:53. > :50:00.about four different pots. Joe missed the red, and Judd Trump went

:50:01. > :50:03.on to win it. But he is always pressurising his opponent, you have

:50:04. > :50:07.to say that. He is more aggressive than most of the players on the

:50:08. > :50:11.circuit, Judd Trump. And that in itself puts you under pressure. You

:50:12. > :50:15.feel you cannot leave him anything because he will go for it. And on

:50:16. > :50:19.his day, he gets most of them. And he is a cool customer as well. His

:50:20. > :50:23.face does not portray too much emotion. Whereas if we could see Joe

:50:24. > :50:30.Perry at the moment, shaking his head. He will be a bit annoyed with

:50:31. > :50:36.himself? Yes, Joe has been around for a while. He has got a few mental

:50:37. > :50:41.scars, like all the players. But Judd has just got a presence out in

:50:42. > :50:46.the arena, for somebody so young. He has just got that. The way he walks

:50:47. > :50:52.around the table. He does not show much expression. The shots he plays,

:50:53. > :50:58.the exceptional clearances he does. He is very, very exciting to watch.

:50:59. > :51:03.Even for the professional players, he is different. We had him in the

:51:04. > :51:06.studio a couple of days ago and said, it has been a couple of years

:51:07. > :51:12.since you have listed a ranking title. Do you feel the pressure? No,

:51:13. > :51:16.not at all, he said. I will win one sooner rather than later. Joe Perry

:51:17. > :51:21.has perhaps gone under the radar slightly this week. But he is a guy

:51:22. > :51:26.who is inside the top ten, he knows his way around? He has had a very

:51:27. > :51:32.good few years now, Joe. He has had his ups and downs. He has been in

:51:33. > :51:38.the top 16 many times, and out again. But he has been having some

:51:39. > :51:45.really good results. He won the PTC, ?100,000 prize, which will have

:51:46. > :51:47.helped his confidence. Outcomes Judd Trump, with that hard to read

:51:48. > :51:57.expression! Leading 2-1. So, Joe Perry trying to level the

:51:58. > :52:19.match up. This time, Judd Trump does not pot

:52:20. > :52:32.Joe Perry 's break. It was very similar red.

:52:33. > :52:43.Instantly now, the top players, this is quite good pack to go into, from

:52:44. > :52:49.the black. Push the cue ball through. He knows he has got a red

:52:50. > :52:55.up by the blue. Should it be necessary. That is the shot he has

:52:56. > :53:40.played. He has played it very well. The referee just asking for a moment

:53:41. > :53:43.to replace the pink, which will have to go behind its own spot in a

:53:44. > :54:01.direct line with the top cushion. Joe has left an angle here to go

:54:02. > :54:04.into the bunch of reds. The problem is, I can see two reds which could

:54:05. > :54:08.go dangerously near the corner pocket. I don't know if Joe has seen

:54:09. > :54:14.that. Whether he will not bother going into the reds. Here it is...!

:54:15. > :54:36.Goodness me! It is all right now though.

:54:37. > :54:45.It seems to me you just cannot play the ball with any pace, otherwise

:54:46. > :54:46.you're getting a kick was some kind of kick effect. I don't know if it

:54:47. > :55:08.is static or what it is. He is getting the long tackle out

:55:09. > :55:11.again. If the red was not so close to the middle pocket, he would be

:55:12. > :55:18.able to just play this as a normal shot. This always makes it a bit

:55:19. > :55:32.more hard, even though the red is close to the corner pocket.

:55:33. > :55:45.You would have to say, the reds are in perfect position now. Joe Perry

:55:46. > :55:51.will be very upset with himself if he does not make a winning

:55:52. > :55:52.contribution from here. Certainly he should put himself in a very, very

:55:53. > :57:24.good position. All about this shot. He is taking these very nicely. He

:57:25. > :57:32.is a lovely cubist. But again, he played that with a little bit of

:57:33. > :57:42.pace. And once again, the ball lifted off the bed of the table. He

:57:43. > :57:53.is a lovely cueist. But look at that bounce again there. He will be

:57:54. > :58:34.expecting to win this frame now with this visit.

:58:35. > :58:40.STUDIO: We have reached the end of our allotted time. , but you will be

:58:41. > :58:43.able to see the conclusion of the match on our late show. And we will

:58:44. > :58:51.also bring you the highlights of Ding Junhui against Lucas Purcell.

:58:52. > :58:59.All of the action from 11.15 on BBC Two Wales. From all of us, a very

:59:00. > :59:01.good easing. -- had evening.
