:00:35. > :00:42.It's the semifinals day at the motor point Arena in Cardiff, a week that

:00:43. > :00:47.began with 128 players, now all eyes on one central stage and just four

:00:48. > :01:30.men with their eyes on the Welsh Open trophy.

:01:31. > :01:34.Two big stars of the modern game and two men hoping to make a name for

:01:35. > :02:05.themselves, rocker Robert Scott Donaldson has seen of two

:02:06. > :02:11.former world top 16 players in Mark King and Mark Davis and a couple of

:02:12. > :02:16.white washes as well, beating Zhou Yuelong 5-0. So what will it mean

:02:17. > :02:25.for each of them to go all the way to the final? For me this would kind

:02:26. > :02:29.of be like winning the Masters, two win this in front of my family and

:02:30. > :02:33.friends would be amazing. He is one of the best young players of the

:02:34. > :02:37.game, everyone knows how good he is. You don't need me to tell you, I

:02:38. > :02:42.just want to buy my own game and enjoy it. Get in a good situation

:02:43. > :02:49.you never know. But it's going to be tough. We will see how it goes. I

:02:50. > :02:54.have a lot of friends and family coming over the weekend so it will

:02:55. > :02:58.be good to have swarmed support. Down to one table, the atmosphere

:02:59. > :03:03.gets better, whenever you play in the final weekend and it should be a

:03:04. > :03:08.really enjoyable experience. It doesn't matter who I am playing, I

:03:09. > :03:14.know what I can do, it's for other people to judge it I have a chance

:03:15. > :03:18.not but am confident. I have not seen him play really, I saw him a

:03:19. > :03:21.bit today but that's about it. He has never really looked like he was

:03:22. > :03:26.going to go through but suddenly maybe a bit of confidence from

:03:27. > :03:30.seeing other unexpected players get through and. He still young, I don't

:03:31. > :03:35.know much about him but he must be a great player to player to get to the

:03:36. > :03:42.stage. It does not matter who I am playing, I out and play my game, try

:03:43. > :03:48.to play as good a shot as I can. I try to play him like how I did,

:03:49. > :03:55.Jackson Page, get in front early and put him under pressure. If I can get

:03:56. > :04:00.off to a good start I fancy myself to win. And a great atmosphere, a

:04:01. > :04:05.packed motor point Arena, this is where it all

:04:06. > :04:23.today is a different day, Robert Milkins has played strong or weak

:04:24. > :04:34.but this is the first time he has been on this match table.

:04:35. > :04:43.You always fancy Judd Trump but Scott Donaldson is playing well.

:04:44. > :04:50.What about Donaldson, does he have much of a hope, much chance? Judd

:04:51. > :04:53.Trump has been there many times, this is the first semifinal for

:04:54. > :04:57.Scott Donaldson but look at it the other way, it's a long time coming,

:04:58. > :05:04.he's in the semifinal and will want to make the most of it. You have two

:05:05. > :05:09.fancy Judd Trump, the way he has been playing. It was a great match

:05:10. > :05:14.between him and Barry Hawkins and he will be feeling fantastic. A packed

:05:15. > :05:20.crowd and in front of the TV cameras, it's almost time for our

:05:21. > :05:30.first semifinal. We are going to join the MC, Rob Walker. Good

:05:31. > :05:36.afternoon ladies and gentlemen, we started on Monday with eight tables

:05:37. > :05:41.and now just one remains, welcome to semifinal Saturday here at the 2017

:05:42. > :05:52.Welsh Open, a brilliant session of lives snooker.

:05:53. > :06:02.Please welcome our player enjoying the best week of his career so far,

:06:03. > :06:06.yesterday he won his first ever ranking event quarterfinal and here

:06:07. > :06:08.he is coming out for his maiden semifinal, what a day and what a

:06:09. > :06:36.moment for Scott Donaldson. And his opponent, arguably the most

:06:37. > :06:40.exciting player of his generation, hereafter that epic quarterfinal

:06:41. > :06:45.against Barry Hawkins, reigning European Masters champion, winner of

:06:46. > :06:49.six ranking events titles so far, ladies and gentlemen, the pride of

:06:50. > :07:08.Bristol, the ace in the pack, Judd Trump.

:07:09. > :07:15.The players are ready and we are ready for our opening semifinal,

:07:16. > :07:20.over to your commentary team, Dominic Dale and Willie Thorne.

:07:21. > :07:27.COMMENTATOR: What a good chance this is for Scott Donaldson to make an

:07:28. > :07:31.impact on this world game, both players have had favourable draws to

:07:32. > :07:35.get to the semifinal stage. Judd Trump is going to be the strong

:07:36. > :07:44.favourite to date, so it is essential Scott makes an LA inroad

:07:45. > :07:50.in the match. -- makes an early inroad in the match. Absolutely.

:07:51. > :07:59.Down to just the one table, brand-new cloth on it so Judd Trump

:08:00. > :08:02.will not be too familiar with it. Scott Donaldson, complete contrast

:08:03. > :08:06.in style to Judd Trump who likes to pot under attack and play briskly,

:08:07. > :08:13.Scott is a more cautious player, good all-round player. Much more

:08:14. > :08:22.steady player than Judd Trump I feel. Turned professional in 2012

:08:23. > :08:26.and made good inroads. The matches he has lost over the last couple of

:08:27. > :08:33.years, he has taken top players to a deciding frame. Over 20 odd

:08:34. > :08:41.centuries in his couple of years as a professional. But more of a safety

:08:42. > :08:42.first player as Dominic just mentioned. And as you can see by

:08:43. > :09:24.that he is not a bad one. Attempted to get that red into the

:09:25. > :09:31.top corner but got the double snitch, so the first opportunity

:09:32. > :09:34.falls to Donaldson. The key to him will be making the most of these

:09:35. > :09:38.opportunities, the black looks like it will go into the right corner,

:09:39. > :09:41.does not have to do too much with the cue ball and the reds are open.

:09:42. > :10:05.Good initial opportunity. As you can see, he is not the

:10:06. > :10:13.tallest. Does not seem to be able to reach this. That's a little bit

:10:14. > :10:21.wobbly, two extensions. Doesn't have to do much with the cue ball. Not

:10:22. > :10:30.keeping very still is the only problem. But perfect, nudging the

:10:31. > :10:33.reds away from the black spot. These are the chances you are going to

:10:34. > :10:36.have to take and take them well, needs to get 60 or 70 every time he

:10:37. > :11:14.gets into a position like this. Black clearly available, the reds

:11:15. > :11:24.have been moved away so would quickly like to get rid of the red

:11:25. > :11:35.and then the black would be available into both pockets. Oh

:11:36. > :11:43.dear. Cannot afford at any stage to miss shots like that. That is true.

:11:44. > :11:56.And he will be well aware of that. It is good for Judd if this red pots

:11:57. > :12:04.because that really does open things up. Just the sort of scoring

:12:05. > :12:09.opportunity he is so dangerous with anomaly. He broke down so many times

:12:10. > :12:16.yesterday in his quarterfinal match on a score around 40, time after

:12:17. > :12:24.time and that will be on his mind. Five times he broke down on 40 or

:12:25. > :12:29.50. Eventually was pretty fortunate to win the match against Barry

:12:30. > :12:34.Hawkins. But he's an unbelievable talent and I am sure everybody

:12:35. > :12:43.watching enjoys watching him. I like how he keeps the crowd entertained

:12:44. > :12:45.at the end of frames. Trying to entertain people and he takes it to

:12:46. > :13:18.the full. Reds and absolutely perfect

:13:19. > :14:21.positions now for a sizeable break. Already the break is 39 and still in

:14:22. > :14:27.an ideal position. Single near any of the conditions, on the practice

:14:28. > :14:42.table he would probably expect to clear the table from here. I think

:14:43. > :14:50.he will get the ball rolling. Probably a touch straight on the

:14:51. > :14:53.black but so many reds in the open. What's available, but nothing into

:14:54. > :15:01.the right-hand corner which is why he had to play that shot quite

:15:02. > :15:06.firmly. Scott Donaldson knows he cannot afford any misses against

:15:07. > :15:10.Judd Trump because that was a relatively straightforward red that

:15:11. > :15:15.he missed, he can me look on and hope Judd Trump breaks down in the

:15:16. > :15:18.next couple of shots, which he did do yesterday on a couple of

:15:19. > :15:26.occasions. This is the one he missed, cannot afford to do that. No

:15:27. > :15:34.bounces off the cushions yet on this table with the new cloth. No, and

:15:35. > :15:40.the conditions playing at a nice place. This is the sort of table and

:15:41. > :15:45.the sort of conditions for a players can make two or three centuries in a

:15:46. > :16:11.row. Ideally he would like to kiss into

:16:12. > :16:24.the pink. No reason now why he cannot go on to make a century.

:16:25. > :16:32.He will equal his target from last season if he makes a century here,

:16:33. > :16:37.39 already this season, 40 altogether last season. And there

:16:38. > :16:41.are another six or seven tournaments, will not get close to

:16:42. > :16:45.the 100 of Neil Robertson but can still get close to 70 odd with the

:16:46. > :16:49.amount of tournaments left. He is one of the game is great to

:16:50. > :17:29.break-builders. Over 420 centuries in his short career.

:17:30. > :17:44.That was a little bit wide but managed to go in. His 40th century

:17:45. > :17:46.this season and in the opening frame of this semifinal. It's Scott

:17:47. > :17:51.Donaldson did not realise he was playing a man in form he now does

:17:52. > :17:52.now. Cannot afford any of those mistakes he made early on in the

:17:53. > :18:09.frame. Are we going to get some naughty

:18:10. > :18:21.snooker now? Not on the brown. Maybe on the blue? Decided to save the

:18:22. > :18:34.naughty snooker for later on in the match. Our fabulous 131, Scott

:18:35. > :18:41.Donaldson missing the red, that was the catalyst, Judd Trump clearing

:18:42. > :18:44.the lot. STUDIO: Great start, welcome to the studio, glad you can

:18:45. > :18:50.spend your Saturday afternoon with us, Darren Morgan with me. Scott

:18:51. > :18:55.Donaldson did not know he was in a semifinal before that then he does

:18:56. > :18:59.now. Ominous signs from the word go already. I watched the match

:19:00. > :19:03.yesterday with Barry Hawkins and Judd Trump kept getting to 40 or 50

:19:04. > :19:07.and breaking down every single time, losing two or three frames he should

:19:08. > :19:13.have won. Ironically the one that he should have lost, the last one, he

:19:14. > :19:19.did win. He was not scoring, kept getting to 40 or 50, one shot and

:19:20. > :19:22.that was the end of it. Scott had a chance in that first frame, it's a

:19:23. > :19:27.big occasion for him so he is allowed to be a little bit nervous.

:19:28. > :19:32.Just come across bridging over the red, he would have hoped for another

:19:33. > :19:36.chance in that frame but that was absolutely superb by Judd Trump. He

:19:37. > :19:40.had to settle down now straightaway. He has not been scoring, has been

:19:41. > :19:47.struggling to score, and then first frame he gets a big break. 131 the

:19:48. > :19:51.break, not the highest of the tournament, Mark Davis got that with

:19:52. > :19:58.the 140 for earlier on. He is used to being in this position, getting

:19:59. > :20:04.to semifinals. You would have thought, you will have thought

:20:05. > :20:09.himself he does not want to break down at 40 or 50 again. He will have

:20:10. > :20:13.his own pressures on. Pressure is only something you can put on

:20:14. > :20:17.yourself and he knows it's a fantastic opportunity to win another

:20:18. > :20:21.ranking event. I think he will be the first to savour how good he has

:20:22. > :20:25.been and how talented he is, you would have expected more on his CV.

:20:26. > :20:32.Not to take anything away from him because his CV is very impressive

:20:33. > :20:40.but he will look at this as a real opportunity, especially with, let's

:20:41. > :20:46.see the bigger names, who have gone. It's all looking good, but a long

:20:47. > :20:49.way to go, best of 11. Obviously, but very young Scott Donaldson it's

:20:50. > :20:53.imperative they get off to a good start, winning best frame of the

:20:54. > :20:57.next just to settle down. Nobody settles down until they have a frame

:20:58. > :21:01.on the board. Let's see if he can do it.

:21:02. > :21:12.COMMENTATOR: exactly right, you do not settle down until you get that

:21:13. > :21:49.first frame on the board. Did not finish top side of the ball

:21:50. > :21:56.-- baulk line. How easy did he make that work? That is the beauty with

:21:57. > :22:02.Judd, generating the back spin with precious little power. He got eight

:22:03. > :22:07.feet of movement there and did not really hit it hard at all. I am

:22:08. > :22:10.surprised he took on the brown to be honest but that is his intent, does

:22:11. > :22:15.not want to get bogged down in safety play with Donaldson, maybe he

:22:16. > :22:18.thinks that is the only way Donaldson can compete with him in

:22:19. > :22:24.this match. Looks like he has decided to play all-out attack.

:22:25. > :22:25.Another excellent shot, unfortunately left himself hammered.

:22:26. > :22:41.One to the extreme right. This is the brown, that shot is

:22:42. > :22:45.always on but a lot of players, the way they play and hit the ball do

:22:46. > :22:48.not get that much reaction out of the cue ball as easily as Judd Trump

:22:49. > :22:54.did they are, he knew that shot was well and his comfort zone so was

:22:55. > :22:58.happy to play it. Having seen it for the second time it actually flicked

:22:59. > :23:01.to the green which took some pace out of it otherwise it would have

:23:02. > :23:06.been another foot further up the table. Little bit of work for the

:23:07. > :23:16.referee to do. Belgian. Very good referee. Using his ball marker to

:23:17. > :23:22.replace the red in a moment 's time. Just trying to decide if the pink

:23:23. > :23:31.will be in a straight line, if it is not it will go behind the bunch of

:23:32. > :23:32.reds. Can he get it in there? Just look at this. The hands of a

:23:33. > :23:43.surgeon. APPLAUSE

:23:44. > :24:16.Are very welcome round of applause. Very hampered as you can see. The

:24:17. > :24:29.cue ball will go perilously close to the side cushion. Not straight

:24:30. > :24:34.forward to get onto a red, onto a colour here, the pink out of

:24:35. > :24:37.commission completely. The black is available in the right-hand corner.

:24:38. > :24:43.Will be interesting to see how he plays this. Has played into the

:24:44. > :24:58.bunch to free the pink which is a bit dangerous I would suggest. That

:24:59. > :25:02.group of Marines and the pink or so tightly packed, he needed to get

:25:03. > :25:07.them with greater pace I feel. Definitely just a safety shot now. I

:25:08. > :25:08.don't think even Judd Trump could find anything from here to keep the

:25:09. > :25:28.break going. I would think he would play to get

:25:29. > :26:56.into the cue ball a bit more. He's done remarkably well.

:26:57. > :27:11.That's a great safety from Scott Donaldson. I wonder if Judd Trump

:27:12. > :27:15.will attempt the red? Should not be a problem to roll up to the red

:27:16. > :27:19.which is just behind the black on this top condition. But he has

:27:20. > :27:28.designs on putting this red it seems. He knew he could get the cue

:27:29. > :27:53.ball back towards baulk with the screw shot. Has he left this red on?

:27:54. > :28:06.Did not get the desired back spin that time. No easy misses here, you

:28:07. > :28:17.have the chance of lowering the score.

:28:18. > :28:28.Has to really get into this to get around that gap, the two reds on the

:28:29. > :28:34.right-hand side. I agree, cannoning was not a good option, playing at

:28:35. > :28:42.the PC did the cue ball was always going to run through them. Good

:28:43. > :28:50.recovery pot. That's finished nicely on the yellow. That was excellent. I

:28:51. > :28:51.thought he was going to play the red he was closest to that sorted one

:28:52. > :29:26.out there. The last thing you wanted was to be

:29:27. > :29:37.short, could have hit that with another foot of running. The pot is

:29:38. > :29:45.still all, but the only opportunity has is to screw off the pink and get

:29:46. > :29:54.back up towards the blue and the baulk colours. Could play the same

:29:55. > :30:07.shot and screw off them. This is a bit dangerous. Well done. Got in

:30:08. > :30:25.trouble twice but out of trouble twice. Can he make it pay this time?

:30:26. > :30:31.World, by sheer virtue of the fact that he has managed to extricate

:30:32. > :30:37.himself from a couple of differences in this break, it should give him

:30:38. > :30:43.some confidence... Still in an excellent position. Looking at the

:30:44. > :30:49.angle he's got on the black, you will probably face the red just

:30:50. > :30:58.below, now. The angle of that black to play a Cannell on to those reds,

:30:59. > :31:08.gently, a choice of reds in either corner -- play a cannon.

:31:09. > :31:15.Yes, I think that if he plays this slightly harder, more than gentle,

:31:16. > :31:20.he will push them out the way. He will have a choice of reds, as you

:31:21. > :31:24.mentioned. But do not miss the black on the spot, whatever you do. He

:31:25. > :31:31.concentrated so hard on playing the aggressive cannon. This easy shot in

:31:32. > :32:19.the second frame, that cost him. Judd Trump will not be different to

:32:20. > :32:23.any other great champion in this game, he would recognise that if you

:32:24. > :32:28.can capitalise from that mistake in Scott Donaldson, it could really

:32:29. > :32:29.hurt him. Putting maximum effort into this, to win the frame from

:32:30. > :32:47.here. Purposely playing for the black, the

:32:48. > :32:51.fact that Judd Trump is left-handed rather than right-handed, he may

:32:52. > :32:55.decide to kiss this red off the cushion. A right-handed player may

:32:56. > :33:01.not have bothered to move the red but he knew that he would be bound

:33:02. > :33:03.to be on two reds at least, he played that cannon perfectly. Now,

:33:04. > :33:48.the frame is there for the taking. There have been some complaints this

:33:49. > :33:52.week about how the table was pinging a little, not playing at its best

:33:53. > :33:55.but the table looks to be playing absolutely beautifully now, I know

:33:56. > :34:02.that they've putting new cloth on, I do not know about cushions, but the

:34:03. > :34:07.cloth is new, there is the one-table situation. They have the arena to

:34:08. > :34:10.themselves, a packed crowd again. Considering some of the strange

:34:11. > :34:14.results that we have had, the crowd has stayed with the tournament and

:34:15. > :34:16.still have the chance of getting at least one of the top four or five

:34:17. > :34:38.players in the final, if not two. That black puts Judd Trump 35 ahead,

:34:39. > :34:44.as you can see. 35 points remaining, just this red to make his frame

:34:45. > :34:52.absolutely safe... Perilously close to the green! It's OK, that red has

:34:53. > :35:18.gone in. Now it is virtually certain that it will be 2-0 to Judd Trump.

:35:19. > :35:29.A very adventurous attempts to get onto the green... Did not cannon the

:35:30. > :35:39.blue, will he try and double power hit this bottom one into the corner?

:35:40. > :35:45.A treble, a quadruple... No, not quite, but I'm sure Donaldson will

:35:46. > :35:52.remain in his chair. He does so in deed. A 55 break from Judd Trump.

:35:53. > :36:00.Enough to secure the second frame. This is the best of 11 semifinal.

:36:01. > :37:02.Statistics show what a talent this young man is, Judd Trump. He has

:37:03. > :37:08.been gifted the first two frames. Donaldson missed a frame in the

:37:09. > :37:13.first set which cost him a break from 131, and then in the second he

:37:14. > :37:17.was cost 55. If you were not watching, this is the black he

:37:18. > :37:20.missed. Bread and butter shots here. If you just walked into your home

:37:21. > :37:25.and thought that Judd Trump was running away with it 2-0, it could

:37:26. > :37:29.well have been 2-0 the other way because of the two chances he had

:37:30. > :37:34.were very good with reds all over the place. I'm worried, if he does

:37:35. > :37:38.not get a foothold, or a frame, I would be worried about the match

:37:39. > :37:43.running away from him completely. The way the two frames have gone,

:37:44. > :37:47.it's beginning to be about Donaldson's thought processes now,

:37:48. > :37:54.been dwelling so much on those two mistakes he made, and he knows that

:37:55. > :37:59.Judd Trump is playing well. A little uncomfortable for young Scott

:38:00. > :38:10.Donaldson, playing someone like Judd , who can steam roller you. So, Judd

:38:11. > :38:11.Trump should be pleased with his form so far. Frame three getting

:38:12. > :39:35.underway... This safety shot is not very easy,

:39:36. > :39:38.playing the red to the right of the pack, with the baulk, he has two

:39:39. > :39:43.avoid a kiss on the brown, otherwise he would leave a red on, and make

:39:44. > :39:47.sure that he gets at least three or four inches away from the baulk

:39:48. > :39:51.cushion, to leave the pot on. Looking at alternatives now to

:39:52. > :39:55.safety. I don't know if he is thinking about playing off jaws, but

:39:56. > :40:02.if you kiss the brown on the way back, it is no good. Straight up and

:40:03. > :40:16.down, the cue ball gets within three inches of it. It hasn't, I can only

:40:17. > :40:23.see the red. Yes, dead straight as well. Running through with a blue

:40:24. > :40:26.here. I can tell from experience whenever there is a red in front of

:40:27. > :40:31.the bold colours, it is ever so hard to play safety well. When the red

:40:32. > :40:36.isn't, you don't get problems in reaching the baulk cushion at other

:40:37. > :40:42.times -- the baulk colours. That red is difficult to hide. It is like the

:40:43. > :40:47.subconscious saying, do not overhit it, rather than get down with

:40:48. > :40:53.freedom. It is, you have to say, hit it hard enough, and don't say leave

:40:54. > :41:03.it short. That word, "Don't" is negative. Get to the baulk

:41:04. > :41:07.cushion... I think it is a good point, coming up with those players

:41:08. > :41:10.playing in their clubs, it's not about getting on that cushion,

:41:11. > :41:15.rather than using the baulk cushion, make sure that you get to the top.

:41:16. > :41:20.They little harder so it comes on and off the cushion at times, is

:41:21. > :41:25.better than leaving it short. Judd Trump played an aggressive pack, it

:41:26. > :41:29.is still OK even though it did not bring in that many reds. It is an

:41:30. > :41:38.asset, being able to play with both hands. Ronnie O'Sullivan is another

:41:39. > :41:42.one who changes hands. Now, you can see the reason why he did not adjust

:41:43. > :41:54.that pays very well, it has left him hampered -- pace. It does not look

:41:55. > :41:58.quite as comfortable as Ronnie, in swapping his hands, he is more than

:41:59. > :42:06.capable at knocking the ball is in. An asset. So many players these days

:42:07. > :42:11.show greater dexterity. A couple of decades ago, very few players can my

:42:12. > :42:17.thinking your day, Dennis Taylor was really the only one... The only one

:42:18. > :42:24.who would play left-handed. I can't make 20 right-handed now, I've not

:42:25. > :42:29.played for 16 years! Purposely left the red into the yellow pocket,

:42:30. > :42:33.playing one shot nothing. Go back five or six inches, it could be a

:42:34. > :42:39.red in the middle, if he misses this. The reason he played like that

:42:40. > :42:43.is because in case he misses, he has that available in the middle. He

:42:44. > :42:48.knew that he would miss it, that one in the middle, he played a much more

:42:49. > :42:49.difficult shot, going around those two cushions, and it is 1-0.

:42:50. > :43:19.Re-enter. -- brilliant. If he can get this red, he can

:43:20. > :43:30.naturally go around the back of the black. He needs a long rest... Long

:43:31. > :43:33.rest, long spider. Surely he will have a try with the long spider, to

:43:34. > :43:46.see if he will be slightly more comfortable? I think you can see

:43:47. > :43:50.just enough of the cue ball, to go just around the back? But he does

:43:51. > :43:55.not fancy it. I think he is still tempted by that red, if he knocks it

:43:56. > :44:00.in, he would be on the black. Is he trying to cut it in? There is a red

:44:01. > :44:05.roughly by the pink spot that would cut into the right corner but it is

:44:06. > :44:11.so thin. Finally deciding that discretion is part of valour. He

:44:12. > :44:14.knows that Scott Donaldson has been keeping hold in these first two

:44:15. > :44:19.frames, and still feeling uncomfortable. He does not want to

:44:20. > :44:20.give him a free opportunity to give himself some confidence by making a

:44:21. > :44:44.break. We've seen in the opening frames

:44:45. > :44:54.that his safety department is perfect. Just having to get in, and

:44:55. > :44:58.score. Now, the good safety he played has caused an error. I think

:44:59. > :45:04.this red for part one next to the pink, will it

:45:05. > :45:11.spot the red? It is tight, too tight. -- I think this red for a

:45:12. > :45:30.pot. The perfect result. It is very

:45:31. > :45:35.unlikely deliberately leaving that cue ball two feet off the baulk

:45:36. > :45:40.cushion. He can rest into that little group of five reds, he gets

:45:41. > :46:02.the pace right, should not leave an easy pot for his opponent.

:46:03. > :46:09.That's very fortunate. You have to take my word for it, he did not play

:46:10. > :46:14.to hit that red. He played two cushions to rest on the one on the

:46:15. > :46:19.back cushion. He had a look at this one on a previous visit, it

:46:20. > :46:24.definitely pots near that left-handed jaw, that is available.

:46:25. > :46:28.It will only go if you play it at a medium pace. I think that you can

:46:29. > :46:32.roll through for raping grey black. Most play the stun shot come he will

:46:33. > :46:35.for sitting, squeeze it in of the jaw.

:46:36. > :46:54.-- I think you can roll through, the grey and the black. Most play the

:46:55. > :47:28.stun shot, he will force it in. Squeeze it in off the jaw.

:47:29. > :47:38.Getting the speed of that one perfect. He can go through the gap

:47:39. > :47:43.of the reds now. Going this way into the corner. When Scott came to the

:47:44. > :47:47.table, he was 30 points in arrears, he has ground to make up in this

:47:48. > :47:50.third frame. It is a big one for him. Having to lose this frame as

:47:51. > :48:07.well, that would be real trouble. The rate to the left of the pink

:48:08. > :48:11.will pot into the left-hand corner but he would be running away from

:48:12. > :48:23.the red if he plays one cushion -- that red. Judd Trump or bounce this

:48:24. > :48:28.black, going into the bunch. Dangerous play in this way, if you

:48:29. > :48:39.don't get the correct angle, you put yourself in trouble for no reason.

:48:40. > :48:40.Not sure if the pink will go through the gap of those reds in that

:48:41. > :48:59.corner... You cannot afford not to score

:49:00. > :49:04.heavily against Judd Trump. He might pot the black, but give himself

:49:05. > :49:09.plenty to do. That's because he refused to go into that bunch. Now

:49:10. > :49:24.he's faced with a long blue, or a very thin black. He appears to have

:49:25. > :49:32.sorted the pink in the middle. That is there, well played. It has

:49:33. > :49:37.escaped... And an excellent pink, as you can see. Spread ball, getting

:49:38. > :49:43.those into open play. OK, he might need those two reds why the

:49:44. > :49:49.left-hand cushion, but he can get a sizeable lead going into the

:49:50. > :50:19.business end of the third frame. He cannot afford an easy miss now.

:50:20. > :50:37.This is Scott's best efforts to date. Took a bit of a risk, trying

:50:38. > :50:41.to develop the red. He has some awkward ones, because the pink was

:50:42. > :50:43.not available, we do not know whether it was the right shot to

:50:44. > :51:04.play. It's been a little bit of a

:51:05. > :51:09.nightmare for him at the moment. He's not happy with that, pushing

:51:10. > :51:17.the boat but as Dominik mentioned, he played the case on the red. If

:51:18. > :51:22.the pink had been available... But it was not. He's only been a pro two

:51:23. > :51:25.years, he's never got to the semifinal stage of the tournament

:51:26. > :51:30.before, he had some good wins, especially in the quarterfinal.

:51:31. > :51:38.Already, he has had three or four great chances to win a frame in this

:51:39. > :51:55.match so far. Luckily, he did not leave an easy pot at that time...

:51:56. > :52:09.This will be a test for young Scott Donaldson... Ordinarily, would enjoy

:52:10. > :52:17.playing that shot because it was dangerous but he had to take it on.

:52:18. > :52:31.Judd is now eyeing up the safety shot.

:52:32. > :52:38.If at first glance you thought it was a poor shot to make contact with

:52:39. > :52:42.the brown, he had to hit the red virtually full ball because it could

:52:43. > :52:46.be typed on the baulk cushion, whatever case he got on the brown,

:52:47. > :52:56.he would have been unlucky to get it in the middle. This is a tricky

:52:57. > :53:00.situation for Scott now... Very thin, almost putting it in the

:53:01. > :53:08.left-hand corner pocket. The cue ball goes close to the yellow...

:53:09. > :53:15.What a good pot. Very good, excellent, a bit of bounce, though.

:53:16. > :53:23.He played the pot, he probably would have wished, having potted it, he

:53:24. > :53:32.got the yellow full ball. But this is very tricky. With the cloth being

:53:33. > :53:38.so fine now, with that distance, it is so hard to roll up, isn't it?

:53:39. > :53:42.Yes, certainly, you need a good touch on the first game. And set

:53:43. > :53:47.yourself a target with that kind of shot. You need to think, OK, I want

:53:48. > :53:52.that yellow to me a centimetre or an inch. And play the shot. Sometimes

:53:53. > :53:55.you roll up to the ball but no absolute target, the target is to

:53:56. > :54:00.reach it and not commit a foul but there is no definite shot played. It

:54:01. > :54:05.can help when you are under pressure, give yourself a target,

:54:06. > :54:15.move that yellow and inch. -- move the yellow and

:54:16. > :54:22.-- an inch. Look as if he can get that gap, eaters not want to make

:54:23. > :54:25.contact on the left-hand side cushion. He's not planning to hit

:54:26. > :54:32.that one but the one nearest the pocket. Mind you, why would he play

:54:33. > :54:34.it at that speed? Foul. You deserve to lose a frame when you play a shot

:54:35. > :54:49.like that... Maybe that is why we love him so

:54:50. > :54:56.much, he is adventurous but that is why he loses a lot of the friends

:54:57. > :55:01.that he should not. -- a lot of the frames. There is no need to play a

:55:02. > :55:40.hit and hope shot. That could have rolled up to something, I'm sure.

:55:41. > :55:49.Scott Donaldson will need all three remaining reds to win the frame from

:55:50. > :55:56.here, he has plenty of work to do. No matter what happens, he will

:55:57. > :55:58.certainly be well in this third frame with a sizeable lead, if he

:55:59. > :56:14.does break down. This would have been a tough shot

:56:15. > :56:18.yesterday on the cloth, it had been on for a few days, putting and

:56:19. > :56:23.screwing it back. With a slight angle he could have punted it out of

:56:24. > :56:27.the frontal middle pocket. It has been demonstrated, screwing it in,

:56:28. > :56:30.play a stun run through the choice of brown or pink, but whatever he

:56:31. > :56:34.should have done, it should have been better than that... That is the

:56:35. > :56:49.worst shot that he has played today. Trying to pass the black on the top

:56:50. > :56:55.side to leave it on but he caught this instead. Using his intelligence

:56:56. > :56:57.and putting a high value colour safe to make things awkward for Judd, now

:56:58. > :57:51.he has a 17 point lead. Judd will be moving one of the reds

:57:52. > :57:55.away from the cushion, probably the white behind the black, but he needs

:57:56. > :57:59.to be careful as the red will remain in the middle of the table. Playing

:58:00. > :58:11.one into the baulk area, but he decides to move this one into

:58:12. > :58:15.play... Judge could find himself tucked in behind the brown here,

:58:16. > :58:21.very easily. Don't expect Scott to mess this one up... -- Judd could

:58:22. > :58:44.find himself tucked in behind the brown here.

:58:45. > :58:49.Scott Donaldson can consider himself lucky. We don't know what went wrong

:58:50. > :58:54.with that previous shot, a simple roll up behind the brown. Normally,

:58:55. > :59:05.when you make that mistake, the keyboard deviates from its true

:59:06. > :59:12.course. -- the key ball deviates. Red, obviously, cutting. Time that

:59:13. > :59:15.angle on the blue or the yellow to bring the other red into play. At

:59:16. > :00:49.the moment, he is finding it tough out there.

:00:50. > :00:57.That doesn't make any difference to this young man. We'll bring the red

:00:58. > :01:05.and he has. This is excellent, right into the heart the pocket. If the

:01:06. > :01:13.yellow goes in he will be moving the red. A chance for Judd Trump to

:01:14. > :01:16.pinch the frame. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that Scott

:01:17. > :01:18.Donaldson could have been at least 2-1 in front. Very shortly he could

:01:19. > :01:36.be 3-0 behind. Could be an important shot that

:01:37. > :01:39.Scott Donaldson played earlier when he put the bank near the right-hand

:01:40. > :01:51.side cushion because Judd is going to need it now. -- put the pink.

:01:52. > :01:55.Already in his mind he is trying to port the yellow and green to get a

:01:56. > :02:12.handle on the brown. It's all about this shot. Can he get

:02:13. > :02:20.nicely on the brown to get a nice angle on the blue? This is odd Judd

:02:21. > :02:33.Trump is, might pot the brown in the middle and try and move the pink. We

:02:34. > :02:48.know he's a very aggressive player. Just trying to make sure the

:02:49. > :02:52.brown... He is back in the frame. Luckily he was so close to this

:02:53. > :02:58.brown method came right back down towards the cushion towards this

:02:59. > :03:03.pink so it's fairly safe. Scott Donaldson doesn't need the pink

:03:04. > :03:13.either at the moment. What shot will he play here? Would try anything too

:03:14. > :03:17.cute. Tricky shot. Has he left an angle on the brown for Judd to screw

:03:18. > :03:25.straight into the pink and develop it? Cannot quite get into it enough

:03:26. > :03:34.I don't think, what a terrible shot he has got there. Whatever you do,

:03:35. > :03:39.do not leave the brown on. The fact he is left-handed, the pink is no

:03:40. > :03:47.good where it is, he may risk having to play to try to move it.

:03:48. > :03:54.If he had been right-handed he would have tried to drop on that because

:03:55. > :03:59.he only needed the pink. Now, will he play a double? It's not quite on.

:04:00. > :04:13.I think the key thing here is to play a good safety.

:04:14. > :04:21.Trying to get a good white and he's done that. The way the pink has

:04:22. > :04:27.finished I think he must have played the double. Not many players would,

:04:28. > :04:33.I had the feeling he is the sort of chap to take that sort of thing on.

:04:34. > :04:39.Why it was a dominant factor in his thoughts I think, it has turned out

:04:40. > :04:43.pretty safe. That sort of cross shot was on first got to get down the

:04:44. > :04:50.table for the black but he hit it so thickly he has left the pink on here

:04:51. > :04:57.for Judd and that is all he needs. I am very worried first got, he knows

:04:58. > :05:02.he should have won at least three of these frames. Missed easy balls in

:05:03. > :05:14.at least three of them. Just has to hold himself together. Without doing

:05:15. > :05:23.anything, Judd Trump has taken that frame. He now leads 3-0. Worrying

:05:24. > :05:27.times for Scott Donaldson. STUDIO: Worrying for Scott Donaldson as Judd

:05:28. > :05:31.Trump takes a break, that was the one that got away as far as the

:05:32. > :05:37.young Ricky is concerned. It is not going to plan at the minute. He had

:05:38. > :05:45.a good chance in the first frame, great chance in the second frame,

:05:46. > :05:50.and then in this frame he had the game in his control and played a

:05:51. > :05:55.short, this shot we can see on the red to move a read off the side

:05:56. > :05:59.cushion when he was in control, the pink did not go into the corner and

:06:00. > :06:04.he's played an awkward blue which he has missed. It has cost him. He did

:06:05. > :06:10.not need to move that red, there were enough out in the open. He was

:06:11. > :06:19.in total control. Took a big risk and it did not pay off. He was not

:06:20. > :06:25.making these mistakes yesterday when he got a 5-0 over Zhou Yuelong. Is

:06:26. > :06:29.it nervous? Probably a little bit. He will be getting up tight and

:06:30. > :06:33.starting to panic a little bit because the match is getting away

:06:34. > :06:39.from him. Whatever happens he needs to win one before the interval, 4-0

:06:40. > :06:47.there is no way back, not against the pedigree of Judd Trump. Let's

:06:48. > :06:54.show you some examples of some Trump play, you wanted to pick out less.

:06:55. > :06:58.He is in full confident mode. He is unfortunate on this black, this

:06:59. > :07:02.black was 430 and he was unlucky the cue ball has gone behind the pink,

:07:03. > :07:13.if he had got to the red I would have fancied him there and then. The

:07:14. > :07:17.difficult thing for Donaldson, everybody wants Trump to play well,

:07:18. > :07:25.they want to be entertained by him and wants him to win, how do you

:07:26. > :07:28.deal with that in your head? I can only go from my personal experience,

:07:29. > :07:33.I used to sit in the chair thinking I will show you what, it used to

:07:34. > :07:41.inspire me to dig deep and give me that age to play well. He has a big

:07:42. > :07:43.task ahead of him but he's a much better player than what his results

:07:44. > :07:56.suggest. COMMENTATOR: Young Scott Donaldson

:07:57. > :08:04.breaking off. Does not have his first frame on the board but has had

:08:05. > :08:07.good opportunities. If he does not win this remaining frame before they

:08:08. > :08:11.go through their mid-session interval cup of tea he will be

:08:12. > :08:18.feeling very uncomfortable. Need something just to get things going

:08:19. > :08:20.and give him some confidence. He will not have any at the moment I

:08:21. > :08:55.don't think. I do not blame him at all for going

:08:56. > :09:10.for it. He has left a gift for Judd Trump. Nothing wrong with the

:09:11. > :09:24.attempt at Newport, but like I say, unlucky to get the double kiss.

:09:25. > :10:12.If you catch an edge, these pockets are so tough.

:10:13. > :10:22.I have a feeling he was eyeing up the maximum before he even potted

:10:23. > :10:26.the first red. Absolutely. Scott, you have had a chance in every frame

:10:27. > :10:32.so far, and a good chance, please make this one pay. I do not wish

:10:33. > :10:44.anybody to get absolutely really beaten badly in the first semifinal.

:10:45. > :10:59.Let the crowd see what he can do. What has he played there?

:11:00. > :11:13.He has played to miss the pink but it made contact. Now he is making 60

:11:14. > :11:15.and 70 all day yesterday when he is in this position, can he do it this

:11:16. > :12:09.time. You can see the shake of his head,

:12:10. > :12:25.played for the black there. Drafted by the other red. Luckily for him

:12:26. > :13:17.the pink is available. Well done, good recovery.

:13:18. > :13:26.Once again Scott has made a positional error, he is too short on

:13:27. > :13:29.this red. He will now probably be running into this other red and not

:13:30. > :13:41.be quite sure where the cue ball is going to stop.

:13:42. > :13:52.Like UI for the contact was a little bit thin, did not think you'd get on

:13:53. > :13:55.the black as nicely he has. This is a big disadvantage, being one of the

:13:56. > :14:12.shorter players in the game, having to use the rest. I think it is a bit

:14:13. > :14:19.thinner than it looks on-screen, is really struggling to reach this. It

:14:20. > :14:24.is now unmissable if he's using the rest, and the spider. It would not

:14:25. > :14:36.be admissible if he was able to just cue it. -- it would not be missable.

:14:37. > :14:44.He would not be on my bowling team either, tried to throw his extension

:14:45. > :14:58.into the corner and only got half way. It's pulled up a little bit.

:14:59. > :15:07.Just pulled up a fraction of the last second. A few finger marks near

:15:08. > :15:11.that right-hand corner which I think could have helped him out a little

:15:12. > :15:17.bit. But the pace he played it, probably would have gone in any way.

:15:18. > :15:21.The match time reaches one hour, already well into the fourth frame

:15:22. > :15:27.before the mid-session interval. If Scott did win this frame from here

:15:28. > :15:30.to get his name on the board I think he would still be disappointed going

:15:31. > :15:37.for his cup of tea because he's had the first good score making

:15:38. > :15:42.opportunities in the first couple of friends. On another day he probably

:15:43. > :16:00.would have expected himself to be 3-1 up.

:16:01. > :16:10.I would play the cannon into the one above the black, Justice Lowell

:16:11. > :16:20.cannon. If you play the four red cannon you could snooker yourself on

:16:21. > :16:26.the two reds which are loose. Needed to fight to stay where the red is.

:16:27. > :17:22.-- the to stay where the red S. Scott Donaldson's league goes to 58

:17:23. > :17:29.points. -- lead. We'll be feeling a lot better as things are right now

:17:30. > :17:35.because this break goes to 60. That alone will make him feel good.

:17:36. > :17:37.Finally looks like making a sizeable opportunity and winning a frame from

:17:38. > :17:50.a reasonable opportunity. Can he make a century break? That'll

:17:51. > :17:54.make him feel a lot better. Because then when he comes back out after

:17:55. > :17:58.the interval he will feel he has got every chance to keep that momentum

:17:59. > :18:00.going and reduces arrears still further. Then he will be right back

:18:01. > :18:19.in the match. Can he dropped this red into the

:18:20. > :18:32.centre? We himself a nice angle on the blue? The red does not go in but

:18:33. > :18:37.he is 74 points ahead, too much for Judd Trump to do anything about so

:18:38. > :18:44.Scott Donaldson has his first frame on the board but still trails 3-1.

:18:45. > :18:50.STUDIO: Donaldson will be wide of the break and he might for some

:18:51. > :18:53.practice and maybe Judd Trump as well, who knows? This has been great

:18:54. > :19:01.stuff from Judd Trump, how do you see it? Judd Trump is going to enjoy

:19:02. > :19:06.his mid-session cup of tea and biscuit or whatever a lot more than

:19:07. > :19:08.Donaldson, but that was a big frame for him, he had to win that to have

:19:09. > :19:27.any chance in this match. Judd a black. To be fair, Scott had a

:19:28. > :19:31.couple of lapses in positional play, he made a good pot to get right back

:19:32. > :19:40.in and hit a good 75 to secure the frame. When you are 3-1 down in the

:19:41. > :19:44.interval, what do you do, go into the corner to gather your thoughts

:19:45. > :19:49.or come up here to try and not worry about things and practice? Different

:19:50. > :19:53.players do things differently, if it had been 4- seed or he probably

:19:54. > :20:00.would be up your practising but now I probably don't think so, he will

:20:01. > :20:04.relax and have his cup of tea and have chat with whoever is down here

:20:05. > :20:10.with him, his manager or coach, and get together for after the interval.

:20:11. > :20:16.3-1 against 4- Segal is a massive difference. Let's move the focus

:20:17. > :20:21.from the elite level of the game for just a minute to show you how more

:20:22. > :20:27.opportunities are being created for people with disabilities to take up

:20:28. > :20:31.cue sports. Earlier this week we featured a tournament in Gloucester

:20:32. > :20:35.which was a showcase for six of the eight disability classification is

:20:36. > :20:40.including wheelchair players and amputees. In just a year the number

:20:41. > :20:42.of participants in these events has doubled as access grows and word

:20:43. > :20:49.spread about the opportunities to compete. We caught up with some

:20:50. > :21:02.players for the second century impairment developed in Hull. We're

:21:03. > :21:07.reaching to sorts of organisations and what we want is for them to help

:21:08. > :21:11.us to find people who want to play this great sport and we have coaches

:21:12. > :21:17.that will help them and get them involved in the game. I have tunnel

:21:18. > :21:24.vision, every shot I play is genuinely into a blind pocket so I

:21:25. > :21:28.have two players best I can. Players with different eye conditions have

:21:29. > :21:31.different impairments and things they have to judge so it's a

:21:32. > :21:39.challenge for us all to use the best of our abilities. I lost my eye in a

:21:40. > :21:44.shooting accident when I was ten years old so I only know how to play

:21:45. > :21:50.with one eye. Joe Davis was world champion with one eye for multiple

:21:51. > :21:58.years, so I don't see it as a disability. I have played most of my

:21:59. > :22:03.life, I have been playing for the snooker team for 35 years, playing

:22:04. > :22:15.against hearing people. I really enjoy it. Deaf people can

:22:16. > :22:22.participate because it's open for anyone. Like the name suggests it

:22:23. > :23:23.open for anybody. Slightly longer term we want to go

:23:24. > :23:27.abroad, the long-term aspiration is to get snooker into the Paralympics

:23:28. > :23:31.so we need another 11 countries involved so it's a long road to go

:23:32. > :23:36.down but hopefully at the end we can get snooker back into the

:23:37. > :23:42.Paralympics. We will keep an eye on how developments go, it was part of

:23:43. > :23:49.the Paralympics from 1960 to 1988, should it be back in it? It'd be a

:23:50. > :23:56.great incentive? I learnt that earlier on, I was not aware of that.

:23:57. > :24:04.It's got to be a good thing. It's funny, in the BT, Paul Smith, he was

:24:05. > :24:08.playing on the amateur scene. When I was playing amateur before I turned

:24:09. > :24:15.professional. It's great to see him still competing and playing, nice

:24:16. > :24:20.guy and a great player. They want to get cue sports into the Olympics,

:24:21. > :24:25.they are going to have a crack for 2024 after failing for 2020, should

:24:26. > :24:29.they be trying to get snooker in the Olympics? I think so, my

:24:30. > :24:33.understanding is that they have been trying for many years and only

:24:34. > :24:43.amateur scene as well, they will have a lot more countries taking

:24:44. > :24:46.part because it has to be a worldwide sport and my understanding

:24:47. > :24:48.in the early days was they had to take all cue sports and there are so

:24:49. > :24:53.many disciplines, eight ball, 9-ball, billiards, snooker, it's a

:24:54. > :24:58.lot of disciplines to take on board. Unless they have now individually

:24:59. > :25:04.gone and they can take less of them, but it will be hard to get them in.

:25:05. > :25:08.Not everyone is keen to see snooker as part of the Olympics because

:25:09. > :25:12.ultimately the Olympics are to be the pinnacle of your sport, the

:25:13. > :25:19.ultimate thing you aim for and with the Olympics ever be the pinnacle in

:25:20. > :25:24.snooker? It is all about the World Championships, but in all sports, if

:25:25. > :25:27.you say to someone, do you wonder what all championship medal in

:25:28. > :25:32.Olympics or an Olympic medal they would say they would the Olympic

:25:33. > :25:36.gold. It's because at the moment we have is a World Championship and the

:25:37. > :25:42.other ranking events, I am sure if the Olympics was as big, on the same

:25:43. > :25:46.playing field everyone would want the Olympic gold. Ronnie O'Sullivan

:25:47. > :25:49.one has said he does not think it should be in the Olympics but you

:25:50. > :25:55.look at other sports have gone in and people get a lot out of it,

:25:56. > :26:01.rugby sevens, tennis, what it meant to Andy Murray. The only person I

:26:02. > :26:05.can say is Colin Jackson. Numerous World Championships but never got

:26:06. > :26:09.his Olympic gold. If you asked him if he would swap his World

:26:10. > :26:13.Championships for a gold medal in the Olympics I think he would swap

:26:14. > :26:25.it in a heartbeat. OK, we will see how that goes. We are looking ahead

:26:26. > :26:29.to our second semifinal this evening which we will also be bringing you,

:26:30. > :26:38.it's the world number two against Stuart Bingham -- number two Stuart

:26:39. > :26:46.Bingham against Robert Milkins. Let's hear from Robert Milkins. It's

:26:47. > :26:52.always a good tournament, even when it was at Newport it was a good

:26:53. > :26:56.tournament. Good support, and only an hour from me. Just over the

:26:57. > :27:04.bridge. I have been playing well for quite a few weeks. I picked up just

:27:05. > :27:09.before Christmas, I turned my season around, won a couple of matches in

:27:10. > :27:15.the UK, which were not massive but it was because I was not winning

:27:16. > :27:20.games at all. Then I got to the quarters in Scotland, qualified for

:27:21. > :27:24.China last week and now this. First couple of months of the season I

:27:25. > :27:28.broke my collar bone and people forget that, I could not hold the

:27:29. > :27:37.rest for two or three months. That was a big setback. It's not my

:27:38. > :27:41.confidence as well as physically knocking me. So I have not had the

:27:42. > :27:47.best time. Four or five semifinals at ranking events. To be honest I

:27:48. > :27:52.have not really competed in them. The first one I lost 9-8 but did not

:27:53. > :27:59.play very well. Since then it's gradually got worse in semifinals

:28:00. > :28:05.for me. I have no pressure on me, I have got money in the bank and got

:28:06. > :28:08.my ranking back-up a few places. Does not got that many when you are

:28:09. > :28:16.around 32 but it's gone up a few places. I have nothing to lose. I

:28:17. > :28:21.will just give it my best. These results, they are not going to

:28:22. > :28:28.happen that often. Mark's performance was brilliant. He showed

:28:29. > :28:33.pure determination. That was probably the most inspiring thing

:28:34. > :28:36.for all of us, when he won that sort of, it must have inspired Anthony

:28:37. > :28:42.because then he did what he did. I cannot say I am not one of the

:28:43. > :28:45.better players do not win a ranking event because I have never reached

:28:46. > :28:52.the final. A few semifinals and quarters. You always want to do well

:28:53. > :29:00.in the tournament but semifinals, final, whatever, you think to

:29:01. > :29:09.yourself, if I get last 16 at the tournament, that is good and

:29:10. > :29:13.anything more is a bonus. He is enjoying his week here in Cardiff,

:29:14. > :29:37.this is how he measures up against his opponent.

:29:38. > :29:46.The only time Robert Milkins has beaten Stuart Bingham was way back

:29:47. > :29:51.in 2001. Let's chat about tonight semifinal, I guess in the same way

:29:52. > :29:53.we are seeing Donaldson as the underdog this afternoon against Judd

:29:54. > :30:01.Trump that is what it will be like the Robert Milkins tonight?

:30:02. > :30:09.Stuart Bingham has been informal season, he has made several

:30:10. > :30:14.semifinals as well, maybe even some finals. He played for

:30:15. > :30:20.-- flawless make-up, but struggled to get over the line. You do not see

:30:21. > :30:25.it often, especially from Stuart Bingham or other top players. It

:30:26. > :30:30.happened, he got over the line but today is a different day. For Robert

:30:31. > :30:34.Milkins, it is in his head. He keeps getting to the semifinals but

:30:35. > :30:38.doesn't make the finals. He needs to put it way out the back, and coming

:30:39. > :30:43.tonight with a fresh start, as if this is his first semifinal, into

:30:44. > :30:48.his first final, otherwise he carries baggage in with him. Stuart

:30:49. > :30:52.Bingham, behind us now, practising for the match tonight, has been in

:30:53. > :30:59.pretty good form, looking in great shape? Every time he turns up he is

:31:00. > :31:05.in great shape. He is not ranked number two in the world for no

:31:06. > :31:08.reason. He is full of confidence, OK, there was a little blip last

:31:09. > :31:13.night. He should have won most of the friends that he was losing. It

:31:14. > :31:14.looked like he had won, he had one committee had won, but then it

:31:15. > :31:23.looked like he would format -- looks like he would fall at each.

:31:24. > :31:28.Now, he is knocking the ball is around getting his flow going. He

:31:29. > :31:34.will go in all guns blazing. He is getting here early for practice,

:31:35. > :31:39.four and a half hours ahead of his game. We will bring you that at 7pm.

:31:40. > :31:44.The second session of Judd Trump and Scott Donaldson to come, we will

:31:45. > :31:49.tell you more about Scott Donaldson from Scotland. And Scott Donaldson,

:31:50. > :31:59.from Perth, Scotland. I'm 22, I trained in Edinburgh. I'm nothing

:32:00. > :32:03.special, just going to play snooker. My first couple of seasons I'd done

:32:04. > :32:10.OK. The next couple of seasons were not so good. And just more relaxed

:32:11. > :32:14.now. If I get beat by shake the guide's hand and say, well played.

:32:15. > :32:20.I'm not afraid to lose any more, but before I was scared to be beaten --

:32:21. > :32:25.guy's. Now I go in and play my game. If I win, great, if I lose, I just

:32:26. > :32:30.go back home. I don't think anyone realises how hard it is to win games

:32:31. > :32:38.on tour. Newcomers always play the top players from the start. It is

:32:39. > :32:42.expensive as well. It is just hard. But to be honest, it should be. But

:32:43. > :32:46.I don't think it should be as difficult as it is. It's better to

:32:47. > :32:51.build your way up, but that is my opinion. I've had seven or eight

:32:52. > :32:56.television matches over the five years I've been on tour. I think it

:32:57. > :33:01.is just every match that gives you more and more know-how, on how to

:33:02. > :33:08.play on the TV. It doesn't matter who I am playing, and at all pro, I

:33:09. > :33:17.just go out and play my game, -- and amateur or a pro. That said.

:33:18. > :33:21.As simple as that, as far as Scott Donaldson is concerned. We will go

:33:22. > :33:25.to the arena in a second for the second session. What do you make of

:33:26. > :33:32.his game? Is he someone that you could see breaking into the elite?

:33:33. > :33:36.In future? He's only 22, how far can he go? What I liked about that

:33:37. > :33:40.interview was an old head on young shoulders, very mature in his

:33:41. > :33:45.approach to the game, and it should be that way. A lot of players they

:33:46. > :33:49.not lose, rather than to win. Now he goes and plays his game, he cares

:33:50. > :33:54.but tries to play as if he does not care which presumably little bit to

:33:55. > :33:59.show his talent. Briefly, how do you see it going? 3-1, not as bad

:34:00. > :34:07.psychologically as 3-0. If it had been 4-0, Judd Trump could have had

:34:08. > :34:17.him. If he wins the next frame, 3-2, Judd might get jittery. But he is

:34:18. > :34:23.inspirational, one pot and he is off again. We might see another comeback

:34:24. > :34:29.this week... 3-1 to Judd Trump, let's go back to the arena with our

:34:30. > :34:32.MC, Rob Walker. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome

:34:33. > :34:51.back the players for this first Welsh Open semifinal... APPLAUSE

:34:52. > :34:59.We are ready to go for the second session in this opening semifinal.

:35:00. > :35:02.Let's go back over to our commentary team... COMMENTATOR: Thank you. Judd

:35:03. > :35:07.Trump would be a little disappointed that he did not win all four frames

:35:08. > :35:14.but saying that, it means that he lost three of four. Breaking off in

:35:15. > :35:21.the second part of this match... Still three frames away from

:35:22. > :35:25.victory. It was interesting to see Scott Donaldson's interview there,

:35:26. > :35:30.where he treats everyone the same, that is what we all like to do. When

:35:31. > :35:37.you placed Eve Davis, you could assume that he's just a club player,

:35:38. > :35:41.it's easier said than done -- when you you placed Eve Davis. That is

:35:42. > :35:51.his first really poor safety shot. He normally gets the opening one

:35:52. > :35:58.well. -- Steve Davies. It's difficult coming back from the

:35:59. > :36:02.interview. You have two refocus and it is that process of zoning in over

:36:03. > :36:12.again, sometimes it takes a shot or two.

:36:13. > :36:20.Players have been struggling with that type of shot this week, I don't

:36:21. > :36:24.know if the cloth is skidding a little more than usual. Judd Trump,

:36:25. > :36:30.as we know, is one of the best people at getting over the line in

:36:31. > :36:41.the match. All of the top players seem to have that ability to close

:36:42. > :36:48.matches out very quickly. Not a great one to go into. Playing for

:36:49. > :36:53.the loose thread. -- police red. If he goes out for the blue, he has to

:36:54. > :36:58.make sure that he hits the pink, a better way of getting into the reds

:36:59. > :37:07.is playing yellow or green, and finishing on a half ball. That is

:37:08. > :37:16.where the pink pots, it does not look like that from our commentary

:37:17. > :37:23.position but quite clearly, it does. I think that jerked just about held

:37:24. > :37:29.the pink spot there. Probably that will be placed behind the pack of

:37:30. > :37:34.reds. -- I think that Judd Trump just about held the pink spot there.

:37:35. > :37:38.He pink has to be as close as possible to the reds, but without

:37:39. > :37:44.touching any of them, it needs to be in line with the other spots,

:37:45. > :37:51.basically the top cushion behind the black spot. Make sure that he has

:37:52. > :37:56.done that. Plenty of angle that he wants on the blue, the pack of reds

:37:57. > :38:01.is very tight. You need to be careful that there are no plants

:38:02. > :38:13.that could find their way into the corner pockets.

:38:14. > :38:21.Amazing, he was not far away from being on nothing but there is one

:38:22. > :38:26.read that goes by the pink. When he played that shot on the blue, every

:38:27. > :38:29.single red moved in the pack, normally you get one that stays in a

:38:30. > :38:35.stationary position that every single one moved. -- but every

:38:36. > :38:45.single one moved. The pink is in open play. Already, it is a

:38:46. > :38:50.frame-winning opportunity. There was a great practice routine that I've

:38:51. > :38:56.noticed Judd do, he impressed me in the world Grand Prix a week or so

:38:57. > :39:00.ago, he says the balls up for a frame of snooker but crashes the

:39:01. > :39:04.blue into the middle pocket, smashing the red everywhere. I

:39:05. > :39:08.thought, that is a great practice routine, it mimics the start of a

:39:09. > :39:13.frame when someone makes a mistake. You get six or seven open reds and a

:39:14. > :39:19.pack of about seven or eight tightly bunched, which you have to develop

:39:20. > :39:39.later on in the break. It is a good practice routine, I like that one.

:39:40. > :39:46.This is the first of the 4.5 frames that we've played so far, and Scott

:39:47. > :39:50.has not had the chance to win it. With a poor safety shot, or break

:39:51. > :39:56.off, I should say. And an opening bread for Judd, this is what the

:39:57. > :40:24.score is so far -- and an opening red.

:40:25. > :40:34.Any harder and it might not have gone in. Purposely playing for the

:40:35. > :40:47.easier pink rather than the difficult black.

:40:48. > :40:56.Amazing! But, do you know, as I saw him strike the cue ball his cue

:40:57. > :41:00.across the cue ball a bit, I always thought he would hit the pink high,

:41:01. > :41:14.look at that white pushing the pink over...

:41:15. > :41:23.What a miss for Scott, being 65 points down with 67 left in his

:41:24. > :41:27.blacks, all but one of them anyway, and these remaining reds, that one

:41:28. > :41:33.is placed. He will play the pink that he can afford to now.

:41:34. > :41:39.Considering the position of the remaining reds, it will be the

:41:40. > :41:53.unlikely winner of this frame... I do not expect to snooker himself

:41:54. > :42:04.on that shot but that is what he appears to have done. I'm not even

:42:05. > :42:20.sure that he can get into the red this close to these two. Pretty

:42:21. > :42:28.good... Scott Donaldson, seven. Now, will Judd risk playing that along

:42:29. > :42:31.the top cushion? He needs another red but he's not going to play that.

:42:32. > :42:36.Those two have been tight on the question. He would have played the

:42:37. > :42:42.plant. -- those two would have been tight on the cushion. It is all

:42:43. > :42:46.about missing the kiss on the green here with the cue ball, if he avoids

:42:47. > :42:58.it, he should get a Scot in trouble. He decides to put the red out of

:42:59. > :43:07.commission -- he should get Scott in trouble.

:43:08. > :43:11.Sometimes, you can deliberately rolled the read write over the bog

:43:12. > :43:18.pocket and try to put it. If it stays in the jaws you commit your

:43:19. > :43:26.opponent to come you have two pot it.

:43:27. > :43:33.That is a Judd Trump special, made all the more easy by the fact that

:43:34. > :43:43.it is unlikely to cost him much, if you miss it. I think that Judd is

:43:44. > :43:54.intent on putting this match to bed as quickly as he can.

:43:55. > :44:02.The red has not gone in, Scott Donaldson would need three smokers

:44:03. > :44:05.and decides not to bother. That session for young Scott Donaldson,

:44:06. > :44:12.finding himself further in trouble now, it is for one frames. Judd

:44:13. > :44:16.Trump will be very happy having got the ball rolling again after the

:44:17. > :44:23.interval. After winning that frame comfortably, two frames to go. How

:44:24. > :44:28.will it go? It will be difficult for Scott Donaldson, he's not been out

:44:29. > :44:32.with a chance of winning the frame, he was completely outplayed there.

:44:33. > :44:36.It is disappointing that as he sits there, he knows that this match

:44:37. > :44:40.should be closer. It is his first semifinal, we saw in his post match

:44:41. > :44:45.interview that he was going to play every player the same way. Whether

:44:46. > :44:48.Ronnie O'Sullivan or Judd Trump. He will play every person the same and

:44:49. > :44:56.sometimes it is hard to do but at the moment he is playing the player

:44:57. > :45:04.rather than the game. Yes, and the occasion, when you miss your chances

:45:05. > :45:09.early as Scots did, the occasion can be done only -- as Scott did. You

:45:10. > :45:13.think about your performance and playing well, and see what happens

:45:14. > :45:17.then, rather than being embarrassed, which is easy to do out there. Judd

:45:18. > :45:25.Trump will be pleased with how the afternoon session has gone. Every

:45:26. > :45:31.time he gets the score in, he is needing those chances. In five

:45:32. > :45:35.occasions of those 11 friends, he played against Barry Hawkins, he

:45:36. > :45:39.scored 40 or 50, and broke down. Barry Hawkins would perhaps be sat

:45:40. > :45:44.at home thinking, he could have beaten Judd yesterday. What a run

:45:45. > :45:50.Barry Hawkins has had coming into the tournament. He played flawless

:45:51. > :45:56.snooker for many weeks, and now it is Trump's chance to get the

:45:57. > :46:03.tournament victory back. He's always one of the players that I love to

:46:04. > :46:09.watch play. A brilliant crowd here in Wales? Yes, it always is. Played

:46:10. > :46:12.for quite a few years that the Newport Centre where we had great

:46:13. > :46:17.attendance, nothing has changed here, coming back to the former CIA,

:46:18. > :46:25.the Motorpoint Arena, as it is now called. Scott Donaldson breaking off

:46:26. > :46:28.for frame six. It is a must win frame for him to get back into

:46:29. > :46:35.contention in this match, slightly. We know that... And he knows that

:46:36. > :46:43.nothing less than a good performance from here on in will suffice. I have

:46:44. > :46:51.to be honest, we've seen Scott break off three times, four times he made

:46:52. > :47:03.the break perfectly. A lot of players break up and leave that shot

:47:04. > :47:11.to nothing red a better safety shot for Judd.

:47:12. > :47:16.You can certainly see the reds below the pink on the right-hand side,

:47:17. > :47:24.whether he can hit them nicely enough to get back into the baulk...

:47:25. > :47:39.That was always a problem, he has had a nice kiss their rather than a

:47:40. > :47:43.bad one. He's actually put Judd in trouble, although

:47:44. > :47:54.Judd can see a couple of reds, he can can it back up the table to

:47:55. > :48:02.baulk. -- he can can it back up the table.

:48:03. > :48:09.Brilliant. I have to be honest, that is a tough shot because the blue is

:48:10. > :48:11.always in play but once you miss the cannon on the blue, it is an

:48:12. > :48:33.excellent safety shot. Scott has been playing the better

:48:34. > :48:38.safety throughout the match but on two occasions, he has overhit his

:48:39. > :48:41.safety shot. It is definitely his strongest point, you can see how

:48:42. > :48:52.disappointed he was with that last effort. But,

:48:53. > :48:56.Judd always tends to play an aggressive pot. Using the other reds

:48:57. > :49:54.to screw back. It's definitely noticeable, when

:49:55. > :50:01.Scott Donaldson has had opportunities in these matches,

:50:02. > :50:08.particularly early on. He's been making the break, can he do

:50:09. > :50:18.something with this opportunity? The pink wall pot into this right

:50:19. > :50:29.corner. -- that pink will spot into this right corner.

:50:30. > :50:37.He will be kicking himself. That was not really bad, it was the shot

:50:38. > :50:42.before, potting the red and on the wrong side of the blue. He's been

:50:43. > :50:46.fortunate there. He had to play the red at a distance rather than get

:50:47. > :50:48.close to it. He was concentrating so hard on making sure he finished by

:50:49. > :51:04.the blue. Took his eye off the pot. Incredible, that cue ball could come

:51:05. > :51:12.all the way back and end up touching. It is touching ball, I

:51:13. > :51:18.wonder if Judd feels really brave here, to come off the baulk cushion

:51:19. > :51:24.and tight end behind a baulk colour. He could probably leave it, the

:51:25. > :51:31.snooker is in the right corner, and over the left centre. That is what

:51:32. > :52:06.he is going to do, I think he has played it very well.

:52:07. > :52:13.No problem hitting a read, but he needs to make sure that he does not

:52:14. > :52:17.pot on either corner or in the middle pocket. In fairness, there is

:52:18. > :52:22.two reds near the question at the top of the table, if you roll snare

:52:23. > :52:30.them, it will be as good as anything -- cushion. You just need to make

:52:31. > :52:34.sure that it does not roll off. As good as anything, what we call a

:52:35. > :53:04.containing safety, not really gaining an advantage...

:53:05. > :53:12.Well... I'm wondering whether they could end up having a stalemate

:53:13. > :53:15.here? I do not think either player would be tempted to try and play a

:53:16. > :53:21.safety shot into the baulk here, they have two reds to try and hide.

:53:22. > :53:34.This will be done in the next minute, I'm sure. I think the fact

:53:35. > :53:47.that Judd will play this shot, he will turn around and have a look.

:53:48. > :53:56.They have decided to re-reck, it was going nowhere -- re-rack. In re-rack

:53:57. > :54:01.it is... So, Trump with a free frame lead

:54:02. > :54:05.over Donaldson, 4-1. STUDIO: He looks like a man in peace with

:54:06. > :54:12.himself at the moment. As you would expect. He is a couple of frames

:54:13. > :54:17.away from a place in the final? He is, and when he gets in, as you

:54:18. > :54:20.said, he scored heavier than against Barry Hawkins committee yesterday he

:54:21. > :54:26.kept breaking down and losing friends but the strong point with

:54:27. > :54:32.Judd Trump at the moment, his long pot has been brilliant. I know the

:54:33. > :54:37.statistics, it will be 60 or 70% but those pots he has knocked in have

:54:38. > :54:45.been unbelievable. You talk about the long pot, and how well he has

:54:46. > :54:49.done there. He has been fantastic? Well, you know, the main thing is,

:54:50. > :54:56.in the modern day game, you need to be a good long potter, it's

:54:57. > :55:03.imperative. One thing that Judd Trump hours, he can knock in a hyper

:55:04. > :55:08.turn to age -- Judd Trump has come he can not in a high percentage.

:55:09. > :55:13.It is 4-1 to Judd Trump, let's go back over to the game.

:55:14. > :55:16.COMMENTATOR: Donaldson manages to find the baulk cushion with his

:55:17. > :55:24.break off again. Restarting frame six... That is a good shot from Judd

:55:25. > :55:59.in reply. That was a clever shot from Judd,

:56:00. > :56:03.you would expect him to go near the baulk cushion but he played with a

:56:04. > :56:07.lot of stunt, to cover the left-hand side of the pack. But he has not

:56:08. > :56:13.quite done it. On the right-hand side here, arching the pack to get

:56:14. > :56:20.back into the baulk area. It will catch the edge of the pack but it is

:56:21. > :56:30.a little thick. It is a pull shot. -- it is a poor shot. Now, a deep

:56:31. > :56:38.screw back into the baulk area. Can he get through to the right-hand

:56:39. > :56:42.side? Of the 128 pros on the tour, there are about 100 who cannot play

:56:43. > :56:49.this shot that Judd is about to play. Albeit, he did not do it too

:56:50. > :57:23.well, screwing back for the brown there.

:57:24. > :57:29.Well judged, that pays there. Another couple of inches would have

:57:30. > :57:39.been ideal but it is still a very good shot -- pace. Again, a little

:57:40. > :57:43.shorter than most. He needs a longer rest, cannot reach it with a short

:57:44. > :57:55.one. But he gets in, there's only one frame he has not been in first.

:57:56. > :57:59.He just asked for a long spider. This could make things interesting.

:58:00. > :58:08.The potting angle of the black, it will cause Scott to go over the top

:58:09. > :58:09.of these three reds, luckily he can reach across the side of the table.

:58:10. > :58:59.It is not too bad. Played well. Once again, Scott finds himself

:59:00. > :59:04.amongst the balls, everything in superb positions, with a big break.

:59:05. > :59:09.Needing to keep a tight rein on the cue ball, and not do too much with

:59:10. > :59:22.it. Then, potting the next red will open the black spot out.

:59:23. > :59:27.Even then not perfectly positioned because he slightly higher on the

:59:28. > :59:34.red saw the black will not go into the same pocket. Has to get close to

:59:35. > :00:31.his work that he has played that one perfectly.

:00:32. > :00:37.He may have to risk playing the cannon into the left-hand side of

:00:38. > :00:44.the two reds just to make sure you're on the black but this can go

:00:45. > :00:48.wrong. The brick building so poor in this break, the wrong game on the

:00:49. > :00:53.black onto a three occasion, have to make up your mind, either you played

:00:54. > :00:57.Nice Mitch or you do not play this match. And he has played neither. --

:00:58. > :01:50.either you play the Absolutely so disappointed not to

:01:51. > :02:01.have won the frame on that visit. 99 times out of a hundred. Kept pushing

:02:02. > :02:16.it out. This frame looks like being end of March. But a second bite of

:02:17. > :02:21.the cherry. Scott Donaldson so fortunate to see Judd Trump miss

:02:22. > :02:28.that red. I reckon he could play that ten times and pot at least nine

:02:29. > :02:36.of them. But that time he does play a very well-controlled positional

:02:37. > :02:39.shot. I tend to mediate my comments when players make mistakes but you

:02:40. > :02:46.could not forgive a player for not wrapping up the frame from here.

:02:47. > :02:59.Once again he has finished low when he needed to be highly so this could

:03:00. > :03:10.go wrong. Good recovery. 25 points from here. And he will never forgive

:03:11. > :04:16.himself if he does not win this frame.

:04:17. > :04:36.Just a glance at the scoreboard, he knows he is past the winning line

:04:37. > :04:41.but knows that Judd Trump will come back if he does not pot the next

:04:42. > :05:13.red. Needs to get another red off the table.

:05:14. > :05:26.I think this red will pot into the right centre. In it goes. He will be

:05:27. > :05:33.relieved to have won this frame. The magnificent opportunity early on,

:05:34. > :05:39.made 40, had a golden opportunity to win the frame that did not. Judd

:05:40. > :05:46.Trump had a chance to get back in but did not, Donaldson took it.

:05:47. > :05:53.STUDIO: Donaldson pulling himself back from the brink, welcome to the

:05:54. > :05:59.opening semifinal, he will be feeling a bit better now after that,

:06:00. > :06:07.he has taken his opportunity? Yes, he missed the bad ball, got halfway

:06:08. > :06:12.through, on 40, gave his opponents an easy opportunity. Judd Trump

:06:13. > :06:16.missing the red with the rest, he is normally very good with that, he

:06:17. > :06:20.would normally pot ten times out of ten but he missed it. Lots and then

:06:21. > :06:25.knocking in a long red and then securing the frame at a second

:06:26. > :06:28.opportunity. If that had got away from him he would have looked back

:06:29. > :06:34.at this match thinking I have had my chances I have just not taking them.

:06:35. > :06:40.You talked about last night with Judd Trump making mistakes and maybe

:06:41. > :06:43.a little wake-up call they are? The difference yesterday was he was not

:06:44. > :06:51.quite scoring enough, today when he has been getting and he has been

:06:52. > :06:55.scoring, everyone is allowed to miss balls, he was still 40 points behind

:06:56. > :06:59.so he would still have had to have cleared up. But the way he has been

:07:00. > :07:02.playing in this match you fancy if that red had gone in he would have

:07:03. > :07:06.cleared up and that is the difference between yesterday and

:07:07. > :07:11.today. Donaldson playing the occasion and not the game, what does

:07:12. > :07:16.that mean, you're not focusing on what you are doing in your shot,

:07:17. > :07:21.you're thinking about your context, the occasion, the opponent? I don't

:07:22. > :07:26.necessarily agree with him playing the occasion and not the player, I

:07:27. > :07:39.think it's a massive occasion for him. His positioning has gone a

:07:40. > :07:43.little bit, talking about the red, he has play to get on the black cat

:07:44. > :07:47.ball and played badly. He is under pressure out there because he wants

:07:48. > :07:51.to do well. He will make mistakes, it's his first semifinal and Judd

:07:52. > :07:58.Trump is used to it. I agree with the boys in commentary to a certain

:07:59. > :08:02.extent. Maybe we have a game on our hands after all.

:08:03. > :08:11.COMMENTATOR: We certainly do, if he can win this frame he will be well

:08:12. > :08:14.back into the match. But as always when you play Judd Trump you get

:08:15. > :08:21.chances you do not get from other players. Good break this time albeit

:08:22. > :08:30.he has left a long red on which Scott Donaldson will probably take

:08:31. > :08:32.on. I'm lucky, he hits that good. Unlucky. Do not blame him for taking

:08:33. > :09:40.it on. If it goes on the pink spot it will

:09:41. > :09:50.be out of commission. It is not out of commission where it is. Just

:09:51. > :09:56.making sure it is not touching. Maybe the black is not available,

:09:57. > :10:11.just having a look. The red is definitely available. This is tight.

:10:12. > :10:39.It's amazing he has played for it but you can see it does pot.

:10:40. > :10:51.Really got into the cue ball, overscrewed by about a foot.

:10:52. > :11:04.It is amazing what cue ball movement he gets from what looks to be a

:11:05. > :11:08.short backswing. Yes, a lot of that is the QC uses, it's not utterly

:11:09. > :11:19.strong one, got a bit of spring in the shaft which enables the spring

:11:20. > :11:32.out of the ball. Sometimes it might not be beneficial to have a springy

:11:33. > :12:16.Q4 other areas of the game. Good black key

:12:17. > :12:27.If he gets it full ball it could stick. That's the problem. Little

:12:28. > :12:35.surprised he did not fully go in at pace, he seemed to go at half pace.

:12:36. > :12:39.If he had gone into the main body of the pack at the pace he did I don't

:12:40. > :12:43.think he would have been on anything either. The break ends at 44. I

:12:44. > :13:18.useful lead. APPLAUSE

:13:19. > :13:24.It's amazing how confident Judd is, he can miss multiple shots and still

:13:25. > :13:30.play the aggressive shots. It's a great asset, to forget about the

:13:31. > :13:37.shot that has just come before. This is a dangerous. When the pink has

:13:38. > :13:44.made contact, bringing other reds into play but he gets down and plays

:13:45. > :13:48.it with so much confidence. That was very similar to the shot he missed

:13:49. > :13:56.in the middle pocket where you said you saw his cue move a little bit.

:13:57. > :13:57.Cueing across it again there. Seemed to just get right at the last

:13:58. > :14:09.minute. Yes does slightly cue across the

:14:10. > :14:14.ball, he has always done that, it's just part of his rhythm. Puts his

:14:15. > :14:21.hip into some of the power shots as well. That's the repetition of his

:14:22. > :14:22.routine, the way he plays his shots, it has been the same so it's nothing

:14:23. > :14:46.new. Part of his timing and rhythm. That has a chance first got to get

:14:47. > :14:56.right back into this frame, he has overrun his positional shot by a

:14:57. > :15:06.foot and a half. This red will still pot into the left centre. I think

:15:07. > :15:14.that's in. Good recovery. He has got to Cannes in the right-hand red and

:15:15. > :15:18.push through it and hopefully the red he cannons will bring another

:15:19. > :15:49.interplay. -- interplay. I am amazed he tried to play that

:15:50. > :15:54.shot. Even now he is two feet away from his next red and the black only

:15:55. > :15:57.reached the pocket on its last role. Personally I did not think that was

:15:58. > :16:12.the right shot to play but just about worked out OK.

:16:13. > :16:19.Would love to finish low on this next red Sri can bring other reds

:16:20. > :16:23.into play and the pink as well. A lot of players would play into them

:16:24. > :16:28.as he has done. That's the first aggressive shot he has played. He

:16:29. > :16:33.deserved to be on one, this is a great chance to pinch the frame and

:16:34. > :16:41.get back within one. Where all the balls are are his favourite.

:16:42. > :17:00.This is the sort of frame that Scott Donaldson really does need to win

:17:01. > :17:04.from this opportunity, put some pressure on his opponent and let him

:17:05. > :17:09.know if he starts making mistakes he will get punished for them. If Scott

:17:10. > :17:11.can win the frame and pull back within one, it could be anybody's

:17:12. > :18:14.match. In practice he would clearly is up

:18:15. > :18:19.100 times out of 100. -- he would clear these up. Do not risk playing

:18:20. > :18:30.for the pink or black, ideally would like to get onto the brown.

:18:31. > :18:49.Do not go top side of the blue. Almost gone wrong.

:18:50. > :18:58.Just has too get one more good shot. Judd Trump will be wondering how on

:18:59. > :19:51.earth this is now 4-3. Just when it looks safe, he has

:19:52. > :20:35.under head. APPLAUSE

:20:36. > :20:42.Well done, his heart would have skipped a beat having seen where cue

:20:43. > :21:01.ball finished. 44 break in the frame from Judd was not enough.

:21:02. > :21:08.He came to the table some 50 points behind, needed to clear to pinch it

:21:09. > :21:16.and did just that with the break of 74 and now trails by just one, 4-3.

:21:17. > :21:24.STUDIO: And there we were thinking we might have an early finish in

:21:25. > :21:27.this opening semifinal. How is this happening, the world number four

:21:28. > :21:33.against the world number some discipline, what is going on? He is

:21:34. > :21:39.right back in this match, he has cut his deficit. He has stuck in there,

:21:40. > :21:43.his positioning in that last frame was much, much better. Getting more

:21:44. > :21:50.table time and feeling more confident. Starting to look very

:21:51. > :21:54.good. Again we have examples of Judd Trump's play, some good and some not

:21:55. > :22:05.so good, let's look at the good, another long shot and you have been

:22:06. > :22:08.drooling over them. Yes, this is probably a one in ten shot and he

:22:09. > :22:13.has knocked it in my get is over the pocket. Normally this one he would

:22:14. > :22:20.pot ten times out of ten, that is just unforgivable, a player of his

:22:21. > :22:27.stature. And to be fair to Scott Donaldson that was his chance and he

:22:28. > :22:31.took it. We saw it yesterday in his match against Barry Hawkins, the

:22:32. > :22:36.subtle mistakes. A little bit reckless, how do you explain? I do

:22:37. > :22:42.not agree with reckless, the shots are your plane is the right shots.

:22:43. > :22:49.For whatever reason he missing them every so often and that was never

:22:50. > :22:56.his game. Against Barry Hawkins he got out of jail a little bit. He

:22:57. > :22:59.done all the work, had the frame won, missed something easily and

:23:00. > :23:03.then Barry Hawkins pinch to the frames until the end when it turned.

:23:04. > :23:10.Barry Hawkins had chances and will feel he should be in the semifinal.

:23:11. > :23:16.Worrying times a little bit now for Judd Trump fans, 4-1 up and very

:23:17. > :23:21.comfortable, 4-3 the matches is completely back on. You said during

:23:22. > :23:24.that frame Trump has been on this table all week in front of the

:23:25. > :23:30.cameras and Donaldson only a couple of times, how much of a significant

:23:31. > :23:34.factor do you think that is? I think it's massive, people will disagree

:23:35. > :23:37.but at the end of the day he's a top world player and has earned the

:23:38. > :23:43.right to play on that table every time. The outside tables are not

:23:44. > :23:47.supposed to run any differently but they do, to a three feet different.

:23:48. > :23:52.When you are used to it being slower and then come onto faster table it

:23:53. > :23:55.takes you a while to settle. The most important thing for Scott

:23:56. > :23:58.Donaldson was getting the first frame on the board and once he did

:23:59. > :24:03.that it allowed him to settle and now he is starting to play the

:24:04. > :24:07.snooker he is capable of. He looks pretty calm waiting for Judd Trump

:24:08. > :24:13.to come back who will probably have a doubtful voice in his head? Yes,

:24:14. > :24:16.Stuart Bingham had at last night and we saw what happened. He really

:24:17. > :24:22.struggled to get over the line. There is a lot of snooker left in

:24:23. > :24:29.this match. It is best of 11, so first to six is the winner.

:24:30. > :24:40.COMMENTATOR: Getting interesting now this match, just the odd frame

:24:41. > :24:51.between them. Strangely enough Judd Trump's safety success is at 91%

:24:52. > :24:58.compared to his opponents 79%. But the long pot success of Scott

:24:59. > :25:09.Donaldson could do with being better slightly, 25% only. Two out of eight

:25:10. > :25:16.long pots. Judd Trump was at 80% but it is now at 60 having missed that

:25:17. > :25:22.long one. This is a big frame in the context of the match. Judd having

:25:23. > :25:27.lost the last two frames. If he can win this one he will be 5-3 ahead

:25:28. > :26:17.and probably feel that a lot of the pressure on him will be released.

:26:18. > :26:26.The cue ball just dangling on the edge of the court pocket which makes

:26:27. > :26:30.this safety shot that more difficult. I do not know how the

:26:31. > :26:57.White House stopped. We'll just be plain safety shot here. APPLAUSE

:26:58. > :27:05.If you are a close friend of Judd Trump are a big supporter he does

:27:06. > :27:15.not have put you through the ringer, doesn't often win matches

:27:16. > :27:21.convincingly. If he can just find a way to not play the odd careless

:27:22. > :27:25.shot now and again he would be virtually unbeatable. Just as to

:27:26. > :27:26.throw in a careless safety or careless positional shot every time

:27:27. > :27:48.he plays. Got very close to the long red,

:27:49. > :27:51.caught the bottom jaw and didn't find its way into the pocket but

:27:52. > :27:56.close enough to it for Scott Donaldson to cut debt in. -- to cut

:27:57. > :28:29.it in. Would love to play on one of the two

:28:30. > :28:33.reds just above the black to free the black spot area. I am sure they

:28:34. > :28:44.go into the top right corner. Some players might decide to crash the

:28:45. > :28:55.brown and open things far and wide. Where is this going to finish? Short

:28:56. > :28:59.by about two feet. Why not play the two cushion is to take that out of

:29:00. > :29:05.the equation. One cushion you are asking for trouble, if he plays two

:29:06. > :29:11.you cannot fail to be on the reds. That is absolutely true. Across the

:29:12. > :29:17.table to the other side of the table you could not snooker yourself. But

:29:18. > :29:22.Scott obviously felt it was an easy enough shot to play. Unfortunately

:29:23. > :30:30.he has found out that it wasn't. So, a pity. It was a great chance.

:30:31. > :30:42.This is a poor safety shot. He has a decent cue ball, but Judd can play

:30:43. > :30:48.that ball, he won't leave anything if he plays for the pink has welcome

:30:49. > :30:53.on and off the cushion. Around the back of the pad, the same scenario.

:30:54. > :31:26.He has Judd under real pressure at the minute.

:31:27. > :31:31.Would love to finish low on this black, play the cannon into the

:31:32. > :31:37.three reds but he finished high safety cannot do that now. Bottom of

:31:38. > :31:52.the three reds there, potting into the corner.

:31:53. > :31:58.Not absolutely guaranteed to get this little cannon Wright, if a

:31:59. > :32:05.-- if they push it towards the left. That can and should have made better

:32:06. > :32:30.history than that. He found one there, Judd. It worked

:32:31. > :32:35.out well, it's a great chance for him to be on the pink with the same

:32:36. > :32:39.pocket, pushing through the red. I think he is touching ball on one of

:32:40. > :32:45.the reds, I do not know if it will prohibit him from potting it into

:32:46. > :32:50.the left centre. It is very tight. I think he could pot it, I don't if he

:32:51. > :32:53.can hold it for the red closest. Now, potting it, you might drift by

:32:54. > :33:00.the red that is nearest the pink spot and beyond nothing. From that

:33:01. > :33:07.angle, I'm not sure if he can get through. I think it is really tight,

:33:08. > :33:10.he could roll it in for the red. That the cue ball is nearly

:33:11. > :33:19.touching. But the pink spot is occupying it. I wonder if it could

:33:20. > :33:29.circumvent him. He could play the pink if he decides to play safe,

:33:30. > :33:31.playing the pink on the top. He has been fortunate. Playing a bad shot

:33:32. > :34:51.and getting away with it. They may take it on, where is the

:34:52. > :34:55.red going? That was a pull shot. Totally misjudging play, hitting the

:34:56. > :35:07.jaws at least in playing the long pot. Meaning there had been no

:35:08. > :35:16.problem. He missed it by a long way. The black is available. The black is

:35:17. > :35:21.open. He will be so disappointed, almost hitting the red on the wrong

:35:22. > :35:26.side, it comes back up to baulk. Look at this. Hitting straight on.

:35:27. > :35:32.Now, Judd has a good position on the black, in the middle of the three,

:35:33. > :36:16.just above the black. Now, there is a choice of reds.

:36:17. > :36:22.Just when Scott Donaldson was getting into the match, he has let

:36:23. > :36:26.one slip here. Going back to the brown he played when he potted it,

:36:27. > :36:29.and did not finish on the two reds above the black. He knew it was a

:36:30. > :36:33.great chance to score heavily. Now it looks as if he will be three

:36:34. > :37:37.behind. -- B 5-3 behind. Just a scarlet, and any colour for

:37:38. > :37:47.Judd to re-establish the lead -- just a red. Very relieved, Judd

:37:48. > :37:52.Trump, moving himself back into the driving seat in this match. Now,

:37:53. > :38:00.just requiring one more frame to book his place in the final

:38:01. > :38:11.tomorrow. Making the century break... Potting high value colours

:38:12. > :38:18.with the three remaining reds. Already made a magnificent total

:38:19. > :38:25.clearance in the first frame of 131. It was not total clearance, but

:38:26. > :38:35.almost... Nevertheless, it followed up to go 2-0 up and then... This was

:38:36. > :38:41.one of 65, going 4-1 up, but not done a lot of heavy scoring. It's

:38:42. > :38:52.been more Scott Donaldson. Breaking at 75, 40, 42 and 74, getting right

:38:53. > :38:54.back into the match. But he will know he is about to be two frames

:38:55. > :39:13.adrift of Judd again. It came back in... What a great shot

:39:14. > :39:34.it was. Just making a century with clearance

:39:35. > :39:40.to the black. It will be the second of the match. Can he revive the

:39:41. > :39:43.angle on the brown to dislodge the blue, or try and can in the blue

:39:44. > :39:49.half ball here and leave himself on the brown? -- cannon. It's difficult

:39:50. > :40:06.to know what he played there. Am looking forward to this shot, it

:40:07. > :40:12.would be a Judd Trump special. A power shot up the cushion rail, this

:40:13. > :40:22.will takes on doing. -- this will take some doing. Hang on... What a

:40:23. > :40:26.shame. Could not make the second century break with 82 from Judd

:40:27. > :40:29.Trump, more than enough to establish a two frame lead, he needs one more

:40:30. > :40:38.to book his place in the final tomorrow. He leads Scott Donaldson

:40:39. > :40:45.5-3. FUNKY MUSIC At the moment, I cannot stop eating

:40:46. > :40:51.chocolate! Two, I think Leonardo DiCaprio is a great actor and Ben

:40:52. > :40:56.Affleck. There was a time in the local league games, where I beat

:40:57. > :41:01.someone, I think he must have been about 40 and I was six or seven at

:41:02. > :41:08.the time. He ended up snapping his cue after I beat him, I will never

:41:09. > :41:14.forget that! And quite patient. -- I'm quite patient and relaxed. I'm

:41:15. > :41:17.quite a bad loser, it takes me a while to get over some losses, it

:41:18. > :41:26.takes me a day or two to get over it. Quantum Piura.

:41:27. > :41:40.David Beckham, or McGregor, I would be intimidated. -- Conor McGregor.

:41:41. > :41:44.I've not paid attention to what's happened in the past, for me I would

:41:45. > :41:49.like to go forward in 50 years and see what is happening there. The

:41:50. > :41:57.beach, in LA, and out with friends at night.

:41:58. > :42:01.Nice to see Judd sat in the chair, Scott Donaldson missed a trick, he

:42:02. > :42:07.potted a nice red, perfect on the brown, this is a shot. Play on one

:42:08. > :42:12.cushion, you have the chance to go wrong, he should have gone two, of

:42:13. > :42:18.the blue and back on the two reds. Playing on one, you have a single

:42:19. > :42:21.foot margin of error. With two, you have five feet. He will be kicking

:42:22. > :42:29.himself not to have made a better fist of it than that. He's in the

:42:30. > :42:33.match, Judd with a break of 82, taking it away from him now. I think

:42:34. > :42:42.it is going to be tough for Scott to get back into the match again.

:42:43. > :42:44.Frame nine. Judd Trump hopes it will be the last frame of the match,

:42:45. > :43:08.breaking off in frame nine. The best break off of the match,

:43:09. > :43:13.probably. Judd has Scott Donaldson snookered on Allred 's. Has to be

:43:14. > :43:18.careful, it is so easy to leave a pot on here if you are not careful.

:43:19. > :43:28.Get that pays right. -- snookered on all of the reds. It looks

:43:29. > :43:35.dangerously quick. Nestling on the red. No harm is done. Touching ball,

:43:36. > :43:38.not so good from Donaldson's point of view. It allows Judd to play that

:43:39. > :45:03.part of the table as he so desires. Just a minor adjustment needed.

:45:04. > :45:07.Players never really worried about, OK, he has given ten points away.

:45:08. > :45:15.Ten points in this stage of the game is not as important as not a read

:45:16. > :45:16.on. -- red on. I would be amazed if he does not get that touching ball

:45:17. > :45:36.on this visit... I think it is a touching ball again,

:45:37. > :45:43.you know... It absolutely froze when it hit the reds. Meeting another

:45:44. > :45:48.touching ball. This time, he will try and get in behind the yellow.

:45:49. > :46:28.Just like that. Just wondering whether it is worth

:46:29. > :46:36.playing to snicker him rather than let him see the reds, bringing

:46:37. > :46:46.interplay. Playing -- bringing those reds in to play.

:46:47. > :46:51.On the left-hand side of the pack, he's come out more with him playing

:46:52. > :46:56.that last shot into the pack. How not really rest on this side of the

:46:57. > :47:06.pack, and leave a pot. Having to be careful.

:47:07. > :47:14.It looks like he is thinking about coming to the back of the pack this

:47:15. > :47:29.time. In one, two, three or four positions.

:47:30. > :47:34.A different way to what he originally thought. A similar kind

:47:35. > :47:53.of shot, though. It is all about pace. It is a poor shot.

:47:54. > :48:00.I think that Scott Donaldson was lucky that he missed that one. Just

:48:01. > :48:14.playing it slightly more casual I felt there. Just that pace kept it

:48:15. > :48:18.out, it was sent a little high. Well... Scott obviously did not

:48:19. > :48:23.think that he could control that cue ball there. Playing through the

:48:24. > :48:28.baulk colours, and trusting that position. He is on the blue, or

:48:29. > :48:31.baulk colours. There is anyone loose red that would put anywhere. I don't

:48:32. > :48:35.think there is one of the back of the pack that would put into the

:48:36. > :48:46.left-hand corner. -- there is only one loose red.

:48:47. > :48:53.Could get onto the loose red that the left of the yellow. Three

:48:54. > :48:55.cushions, he has done, he might have two slow up a little. That is well

:48:56. > :49:27.played. That red does not pot. Why play at

:49:28. > :49:35.the way he did? Rather than finishing in an area where he looks

:49:36. > :49:43.to be playing for one or two reds. So... Yes, it was a strange shot

:49:44. > :50:29.that Scott played. This red into the blue pots into the

:50:30. > :50:34.corner, and if it does, Scott can take it on and get position on to be

:50:35. > :50:43.black. As it approaches and runs past two hours. Putting that, not

:50:44. > :51:11.left uneasy one on for Judd. Although the blue probably does pot.

:51:12. > :51:20.Once you miss a red as far as he did, you realise what happens, that

:51:21. > :51:32.pink has come to the rescue of the red nearest to the pocket. There's a

:51:33. > :51:34.gap between the pink and the that is typed on the cushions, it is one of

:51:35. > :51:43.those. If he can -- cannon the pink and the red, I

:51:44. > :52:07.don't know why he put it that way around for sure, why not thin?

:52:08. > :52:17.Again, myself and Willie had a conversation, wondering whether Judd

:52:18. > :52:22.would smash into the red, and he did. When you do that you don't know

:52:23. > :52:26.where the cue ball will finish. As you saw, that is what can happen.

:52:27. > :52:33.What a retriever, Scott Donaldson must have thought he played his last

:52:34. > :53:43.shot in the Welsh Open. Instead... He has the chance for 5-4.

:53:44. > :53:55.Second glance he might have been better playing on the black, trying

:53:56. > :54:07.to knock this blue end... Ooh dear. That is his first which, definitely

:54:08. > :54:11.slightly anxious on that one. He has had some chances in this match. He

:54:12. > :54:17.takes the tape away from this match and will realise he had every chance

:54:18. > :54:31.of beating Judd Trump today. That's right. Could certainly take this

:54:32. > :54:38.match himself. Considering his performance in the round yesterday,

:54:39. > :54:42.in the last 16 against Zhou Yuelong, he did so well in that match,

:54:43. > :54:46.dominating his young Chinese opponent. If he played in a similar

:54:47. > :55:12.fashion today I think that he would be winning.

:55:13. > :55:19.Usually, these top players close the match out and have chances like

:55:20. > :55:26.this. He does not have to worry about the two reds on the side

:55:27. > :55:34.cushions. As those reds loose in the middle of the table.

:55:35. > :55:41.It has been workmanlike from Judd Trump today, he's not played

:55:42. > :55:47.anywhere near his best. Scored better than he did against Barry

:55:48. > :55:50.Hawkins yesterday. Making 40, missing. He did that a couple of

:55:51. > :55:56.times today, yesterday he did it five times. When he plays in the

:55:57. > :56:47.final, he has to tighten that side of his game up.

:56:48. > :57:00.Well, this has been better from Judd. Missing pots in this break.

:57:01. > :57:11.Now he just needs one more red to take place in tomorrow's final.

:57:12. > :57:15.APPLAUSE What a great tournament that young

:57:16. > :57:19.man has had. Win or lose he will gain a lot of experience from this

:57:20. > :57:26.game. Like I say, if he takes the tape away he will realise how close

:57:27. > :57:27.he came to winning the match. Silly little miss positions with the

:57:28. > :57:49.balls. Trying to force into the red to

:57:50. > :57:54.bring it into play. No century break to finish Bert a match that Judd

:57:55. > :57:58.will be pleased to have one. It seemed he took a few chances but he

:57:59. > :58:05.came away winning quite convincingly. The scoreline doesn't

:58:06. > :58:10.quite tell the story, but Judd goes through to another major final.

:58:11. > :58:17.STUDIO: It was not as easy as it might have been but Judd Trump,

:58:18. > :58:20.through to his first Welsh Open final and Scott Donaldson will hope

:58:21. > :58:25.that there are more ranking tournament semifinals to come. Just

:58:26. > :58:30.one game too far for him today but Trump, as he signs some autographs

:58:31. > :58:33.in the arena, he will play either Stuart Bingham or Robert Milkins in

:58:34. > :58:40.the final tomorrow. The second semifinal to come, Bingham or

:58:41. > :58:46.Milkins is due out there after seven o'clock. It's a good day for Judd

:58:47. > :58:52.Trump. He will be happy to have crossed the line in the end, and

:58:53. > :58:56.into his first Welsh Open final. It seemed he wanted to do it the hard

:58:57. > :59:01.way at one point. But he just had that class, when it mattered?

:59:02. > :59:08.It was a case of him knocking in good long pots which got him in. He

:59:09. > :59:12.scored better. That was the difference compared to the rest of

:59:13. > :59:16.the tournament. Scott Donaldson had his chances and will be very

:59:17. > :59:21.disappointed. He would be pleased on one hand, it is a double-edged

:59:22. > :59:25.sword, he will be pleased he has the semifinal and he will look back and

:59:26. > :59:29.go, I had a lot of chances. If I played my top game, I could have

:59:30. > :59:33.been in the final but it was not to be. He's a young man and I'm sure he

:59:34. > :59:38.will have plenty of opportunities and will need to take positives out

:59:39. > :59:42.of this. Willie Thorne used the word, workmanlike, describing Judd

:59:43. > :59:46.Trump's performance today, what was the difference between them? The

:59:47. > :59:54.thing was, when Judd got in, he scored enough to win friends in one

:59:55. > :59:57.visit, at least three of them, anyway. His long game, porting some

:59:58. > :00:01.great long ones to get in, going back into the frame. -- win friends.

:00:02. > :00:06.Scott Donaldson helped him, with those chances. That was the thing

:00:07. > :00:12.for him today, he did not take control. Let's hear from our first

:00:13. > :00:19.finalist at the 2017 Welsh Open. Judd Trump is with Rob Walker.

:00:20. > :00:23.Many congratulations, your first Welsh Open final, it looked smooth

:00:24. > :00:28.early on and then he edged back into the match? Yes, I think the game

:00:29. > :00:32.changed a little. He missed some today, and towards the middle of the

:00:33. > :00:41.match, he kind of got away with some bad safeties. It put me under some

:00:42. > :00:45.pressure in the end, to make a good break to establish authority, going

:00:46. > :00:50.5-3, he missed the ball in the last. He will be a bit disappointed but at

:00:51. > :00:53.1.I could see his confidence, so it was important for me to shut down

:00:54. > :00:57.the game. It was nice for your family and friends, you taking part

:00:58. > :01:02.in a ranking final in Britain, a lot of your success has come in from

:01:03. > :01:06.overseas, at China and you won the International, this is close to home

:01:07. > :01:11.so it will be a special occasion for the entire family tomorrow? Yes, it

:01:12. > :01:15.is always special when you reach the semifinal, the final is a different

:01:16. > :01:20.atmosphere, you thrive off it. For me, playing in the final here, my

:01:21. > :01:24.home tournament, that would be an amazing achievement to win it. This

:01:25. > :01:28.season has been bubbling, you said you've be the most consistent of the

:01:29. > :01:35.top players this season, it's taken people to be at their best to beat

:01:36. > :01:38.you. A big one is coming, no finer place to do it here than tomorrow? I

:01:39. > :01:42.think I've improved this season, it's taken people at the top of

:01:43. > :01:46.their game to beat me. Every tournament I've gone into, I've been

:01:47. > :01:51.fully prepared, giving my best shot. I feel I've improved this season and

:01:52. > :01:56.if I can win it at two ranking events in a season, it's an extra

:01:57. > :02:02.step up. Any preference question mark Stuart Bingham or Rob Milkins?

:02:03. > :02:06.I would probably rather play Rob Milkins, it's his first time, more

:02:07. > :02:11.pressure on him, but they are both good. I would expect it to be close,

:02:12. > :02:13.Stuart is the favourite but Rob will put up a good fight. Well done, see

:02:14. > :02:22.you in the final tomorrow. If you work in a marketing

:02:23. > :02:24.department the final you are opening for is Judd Trump against Stuart

:02:25. > :02:31.Bingham but if you want a spectacle you are not so sure? Yes, everyone

:02:32. > :02:35.is seeing Judd Trump and Stuart Bingham will be the final but Robert

:02:36. > :02:39.Milkins plays very similarly to Judd Trump when he is playing well, likes

:02:40. > :02:44.to attack the ball, go for his shots. He does not hang about

:02:45. > :02:51.either. An exciting player. Stuart Bingham has learnt the fine art of

:02:52. > :02:56.the game and he plays the more percentage Schneider, everything he
