:00:11. > :00:41.Hello again. History was in the making in a 2014 Crucible

:00:42. > :00:44.quarterfinal between two left-handers, Australia's Neil

:00:45. > :00:51.Robertson and England's Judd Trump. Robertson was in the form of his

:00:52. > :00:55.life that season, having won the UK Championship and Classic in

:00:56. > :00:59.Sheffield. He was on the cusp of something remarkable and very

:01:00. > :01:03.special, he was one tonne away from a century of centuries, but the

:01:04. > :01:06.magnitude of that potential achievement was beginning to

:01:07. > :01:11.distract him. Trump, who had already been to a Crucible final himself,

:01:12. > :01:14.three years earlier, in 2011, was in the mood to attack. There was a

:01:15. > :01:19.special atmosphere. Everyone knows they are there for the biggest

:01:20. > :01:25.tournament and there is just - it is just such an enjoyable experience. I

:01:26. > :01:27.think a record is showed that I really enjoyed playing there,

:01:28. > :01:32.compared to most other tournaments. I have been consistent there. He

:01:33. > :01:34.started off the final like a train, taking a 3-1 lead as we pick them up

:01:35. > :01:49.in Frame 5. If you can avoid the red behind it

:01:50. > :02:01.on the way down. He played for the kiss. He didn't get the pot. Not

:02:02. > :02:24.happy at all out there heavy contact.

:02:25. > :02:28.I don't know what he played for then. He wouldn't have been on any

:02:29. > :02:48.other colour. Only he knows. Trump looking down at that register

:02:49. > :02:52.above the black, if at some stage he can get on that. Maybe train it this

:02:53. > :02:58.time, I don't know. No, he is just playing for the red in the centre.

:02:59. > :03:03.He will hold for the blue if he can and you see him looking at it now.

:03:04. > :03:06.If that red goes past the black into the right corner, he will be on it

:03:07. > :03:25.straightaway. And he does. We heard the black doesn't pot, so

:03:26. > :03:40.if he is not on the red above We heard the black doesn't pot, so

:03:41. > :03:42.black, he may have to try an alternative to try to get onto the

:03:43. > :04:06.pink. The red he's looking at looks very

:04:07. > :04:11.tight. Those two together on the end.

:04:12. > :04:18.He is playing the red past the black. He knew he had to get it in

:04:19. > :04:28.right. He is on the black, but he would like that black to be a few

:04:29. > :04:35.inches further out. It is not just the black is a lot thinner than you

:04:36. > :04:40.wanted for the cut. Holding the cue ball as well comes into it. He plays

:04:41. > :04:46.those shots well. APPLAUSE

:04:47. > :04:51.He held the cue ball with some backspin with a gentle push through

:04:52. > :04:53.the cue. Natural instincts, is that. There is no technical book to tell

:04:54. > :05:09.you how to play those shots, really. They've had some problems out there

:05:10. > :05:14.in this session. A few shots that the spin didn't seem to take on the

:05:15. > :05:21.white and a few kicks. I don't think they've had many bounces off the

:05:22. > :05:30.cushion, which is something that you get in a dampner atmosphere.

:05:31. > :05:47.I think the table is really damp. Another example, there is no pace

:05:48. > :05:51.off the cushion there. That is his aspirations of getting off the black

:05:52. > :05:57.with this red gone, unless he plays the screw off the pack.

:05:58. > :06:03.This is a great chance, isn't it, to make sure you are going into the

:06:04. > :06:08.session, which is tomorrow, no worse than all square and obviously he

:06:09. > :06:15.would like to kick on from the possible 4-1 lead he is going to

:06:16. > :06:20.have in a few moments? He's just overdone that slightly. He would

:06:21. > :06:25.have liked a slight angle on this red to get closer to the black. He

:06:26. > :06:40.seems to pot them wherever the cue ball stops anyway.

:06:41. > :06:45.He's got the perfect angle to stun up those two reds available in the

:06:46. > :06:49.opposite corner pocket. It will be interesting how the white reacts off

:06:50. > :06:53.this. He will have to cow down on this and if the table is damp, he

:06:54. > :06:59.will have to hit a bit harder. He didn't get the desired result again,

:07:00. > :07:07.but he is still reasonably OK. APPLAUSE

:07:08. > :07:33.Another good pot. After playing that shot you expect to get it easier on

:07:34. > :07:39.the black or pink. When you hit a shot like that you kind of think,

:07:40. > :08:10."Well, it went down." Just played it as it was. Didn't worry about it.

:08:11. > :08:18.Amazing enough, Judd is yet to make a century in this attorney: We've

:08:19. > :08:20.already had 38 centuries and this is a chance of another one.

:08:21. > :08:32.APPLAUSE He will try to bring the red over to

:08:33. > :08:41.the corner pocket. He's got second prize.

:08:42. > :09:07.Good shot. APPLAUSE

:09:08. > :09:13.That is Judd's highest break of the tournament, amazing enough. Having

:09:14. > :09:22.won two matches, you would expect that to be a lot higher. He didn't

:09:23. > :09:27.quite get into to that properly. It needs a good cut on the red.

:09:28. > :09:43.APPLAUSE He will have to take the pink.

:09:44. > :09:52.APPLAUSE Anything but straight is OK. If it

:09:53. > :09:55.is straight, well -- Just off straight. Once again, he just powers

:09:56. > :10:15.those in. A brilliant shot. The guaranteed position is pink into

:10:16. > :10:20.the middle and then the righthand corner, but he wants to make sure of

:10:21. > :10:23.the century. A fabulous century of Judd Trump, his first of the

:10:24. > :10:25.tournament. The 38th of the tournament in total. No position on

:10:26. > :10:36.the yellow. Or has it, through the gap? That is

:10:37. > :10:36.amazing, isn't it? APPLAUSE

:10:37. > :10:53.LAUGHS . Anyway, he got on the green.

:10:54. > :11:06.He just pots some balls, this man. APPLAUSE

:11:07. > :11:15.Unfortunately he bounced that one, but the break of 127 takes him three

:11:16. > :11:19.frames clear at 3-1. Trump was bidding for back-to-back appearances

:11:20. > :11:23.in the one-table set-up and has extended his advantage with a break

:11:24. > :11:27.of 60 to go 5-1 in front. It was locking very, very good, indeed.

:11:28. > :11:29.Robertson won a tight seventh-to-just about stay in touch,

:11:30. > :11:33.as we -- seventh to just about seventh-to-just about stay in touch,

:11:34. > :11:37.in touch as we head into the next seventh-to-just about stay in touch,

:11:38. > :12:29.frame. Settle down, please! Now, this is a Neil Robertson

:12:30. > :12:30.special. He is normally very good at these shots, coming back for blue.

:12:31. > :12:37.Wow! APPLAUSE

:12:38. > :12:43.I like to see the speed that red went into the pocket. Amazing. He is

:12:44. > :12:44.coughing againment Idon't think he is right, but a tremendous shot that

:12:45. > :12:59.was. He wouldn't have been as confident

:13:00. > :13:29.as he was of getting down having pinched the previous frame.

:13:30. > :13:39.He is still behind, though. If you win two sessions you have 5, 3. It

:13:40. > :13:42.is a big lead. That is when you have to earn your money as a coach,

:13:43. > :13:47.Terry. When your player thinks he should be further in front, but he

:13:48. > :13:52.would have taken 5-3 before the ball was

:13:53. > :13:59.There are a few things happening out there. Things that you don't expect.

:14:00. > :14:00.There are a few things happening out I am sure Neil Robertson also

:14:01. > :14:12.doesn't expect them. APPLAUSE

:14:13. > :14:18.A good pot. He's got the red into play and he's got enough of the cue

:14:19. > :14:20.balls far enough off the cushion to put some sort of stun and deviate

:14:21. > :14:45.the cue ball for the next red. We don't really know if Neil

:14:46. > :14:50.Robertson is not feeling well here, but the truth of it is, the way the

:14:51. > :14:58.championship is now, you play every day so you haven't really got any

:14:59. > :15:03.chance to recover. It hit two shots then and didn't really get the

:15:04. > :15:06.contact that he wanted. The spin. Yes, especially the previous one,

:15:07. > :15:12.the red to blue he was expected to be top side of the blue. That one he

:15:13. > :15:16.hit purposely, a little bit harder, to make sure he got around the two

:15:17. > :15:20.cushions to get onto these reds. If he gets nicely on the black now, you

:15:21. > :15:26.would expect him him to score heavily.

:15:27. > :15:32.When he is playing to screw top side of the blue, it is an angle where

:15:33. > :15:37.there is no problem. You expect to get the 9-10, but you see there,

:15:38. > :15:41.he's left it short. This is a little bit short as well. He may have to

:15:42. > :15:47.play a little cannon to slow the cue ball down. If he is not hampered, he

:15:48. > :15:49.should still be OK. There is a red available in the middle to get onto

:15:50. > :16:05.the black or the pink. Judd Trump sees the shot very early,

:16:06. > :16:08.doesn't he? He is down there and he is very quick. He must be a

:16:09. > :16:13.difficult opponent to play against. When he is at his best, he is very

:16:14. > :16:16.destructive. He can pot them from everywhere. It is just nice to see

:16:17. > :16:20.him playing reasonably again, Terry, because he's gone through a spell

:16:21. > :16:25.this season where we have only seen just flashes of his briggient. There

:16:26. > :16:31.has been no consuss tenancy at all in Judd's game this season. We know

:16:32. > :16:36.what a fabulous talent he is. To do it at the biggest stage that is what

:16:37. > :16:41.I is all about, everybody strives to do it here at Sheffield. Maybe he is

:16:42. > :16:43.saving his best for the next two weeks or the next week that is

:16:44. > :17:39.remaining. The kick is not the too bad, but

:17:40. > :17:48.just taken the cue ball slightly out of position.

:17:49. > :18:00.Just about hold for this round of dead weight for the black. Another

:18:01. > :18:09.contribution of the 50. It is fourth of the afternoon session, as well as

:18:10. > :18:14.breaks of 46, 67 as well. A glance at the scoreboard tells him he is 42

:18:15. > :18:19.in front. The black, 49 so two more reds and colours to be absolutely

:18:20. > :18:23.certain. He doesn't really want to play for the one behind the black

:18:24. > :18:27.there. He would rather play the one on the side cushion because he is

:18:28. > :18:33.left-handed and the one along the side cushion is easier than the one

:18:34. > :18:37.along the black cushion. He is going to play the one along the back

:18:38. > :18:49.cushion. One more red after this one. He will go 6-2 overnight. If

:18:50. > :18:55.that been any harder, it would have football clubbed it in. Just look at

:18:56. > :19:04.this red. It went right in off the far jaw.

:19:05. > :19:11.Didn't risk going into them. I thought he would, but he played it

:19:12. > :19:20.absolutely to the inch. This is inch-per inspect.

:19:21. > :19:21.CHEERING -- inch-perfect.

:19:22. > :19:40.CHEERING APPLAUSE

:19:41. > :19:50.That is the important red. Pot the black as well. It will be the end of

:19:51. > :19:52.session. Still went for the big split on the last few reds, though.

:19:53. > :19:59.APPLAUSE He lines to entertain, Judd Trump.

:20:00. > :20:07.Let's check the score. He is 65 in front with just 51 left.

:20:08. > :20:27.Neil Robertson obviously resigned to the fact now he will be 6-2 behind.

:20:28. > :20:32.He has got it to do now, hasn't he? He was one of the favourites of this

:20:33. > :20:39.tournament. He has to win the next session to get back into the match.

:20:40. > :20:41.But this is really nice to see Judd Trump playing like we know that he

:20:42. > :20:48.can. He has been the most impressive out

:20:49. > :21:09.of the two today. I am sure you were all thinking at

:21:10. > :21:13.the start of this clash it would be a cracker and go all the way. It may

:21:14. > :21:14.still do, but neither expected a 6-2 result for either player.

:21:15. > :21:38.APPLAUSE A few exhibition shots here now.

:21:39. > :22:02.Those in the front row better watch out .

:22:03. > :22:11.Not quite, but it has been a wonderful pot in and exercise here

:22:12. > :22:15.from Judd Trump. He leads Neil Robertson overnight by six frames to

:22:16. > :22:18.two. The first session I was just concentrating, just get a century.

:22:19. > :22:23.Just get the century out of the way. 100 centuries then you can sort of

:22:24. > :22:27.really get on with the match and he sort of - he played very well in the

:22:28. > :22:34.first session. He led 6-2 and then I was thinking, "God, have I blown it

:22:35. > :22:37.to make 100 centuries?" The pre-emptive thought was making that

:22:38. > :22:40.milestone but the century didn't come as he took the next few frames,

:22:41. > :22:44.milestone but the century didn't although he was moving ever closer

:22:45. > :22:52.to Trump, 4 lf 6 behind now as we move into Frame 11. -- 4-6 behind

:22:53. > :23:49.now, as we move into Frame 11. The shot frame over 30 seconds. It

:23:50. > :23:57.is unheard of. Yeah, he nearly potted the red there, Judd or split

:23:58. > :24:01.the pack m for Judd, he just needs to get a sizeable break when the

:24:02. > :24:10.frame can quickly get involved with his hand on the table. If you do

:24:11. > :24:16.that, it won't matter how long your opponent has taken, Robertson's

:24:17. > :24:20.average shot time 37 seconds and Judd 22. I would be looking to try

:24:21. > :24:24.and make a break. He's nod hat an easy opportunity to get his hand on

:24:25. > :24:27.the table where everything is set, John. Even though the reds are find,

:24:28. > :24:32.you can see the position he finished on the blue, he's always got an

:24:33. > :24:37.awkward yellow or green and when you are in the position that he is at

:24:38. > :24:41.the moment, if he had won the first two frames, it would be a certainty.

:24:42. > :24:47.It is not a certainty now. He's lost the first two.

:24:48. > :24:51.But excellent risk player. What an excellent positional shot this is.

:24:52. > :24:55.Well done. APPLAUSE

:24:56. > :25:24.He is thinking that is a bit awkward, isn't it?

:25:25. > :25:33.He just can't get out of the woods at the moment. He finished straight

:25:34. > :25:37.on the black. There is a slight angle, maybe to push it around two

:25:38. > :25:39.cushions, but doing that, there is no visible red that is a certainty

:25:40. > :25:44.to get up. APPLAUSE

:25:45. > :25:50.Just playing for the one at the back of the pack. But, it is still not

:25:51. > :25:55.certain to get onto a pillar noisily. -- nicely. This is what you

:25:56. > :26:04.have to do sometimes - you have to work until you get perfect. Maybe

:26:05. > :26:06.another mobile phone just went off. Just answer it and tell them you are

:26:07. > :26:18.coming If he is straight on the red to the

:26:19. > :26:41.this time? Not quite. If he is straight on the red to the

:26:42. > :26:45.left of the pink spot, this is the first time he's had the balls in a

:26:46. > :27:18.position where you would expect him to get nicely onto his next colour.

:27:19. > :27:25.A good shot that. Stand up, red at the back of the cluster here. A run

:27:26. > :27:30.through. Back of the black. This is a very decent response at the minute

:27:31. > :27:35.from Judd. More or less frozen out the first two frames to have any

:27:36. > :27:40.decent chances. We have seen the score board chienge if 6-2 to 6-4.

:27:41. > :27:44.How careless is that shot on the red as Neil looks on. He's pushed that

:27:45. > :27:49.into a position on the black where he will struggle to get on the next

:27:50. > :27:59.red. Got to finish half ball on that black.

:28:00. > :28:04.It is all his own fault. If he is on one in the middle, he is very

:28:05. > :28:30.fortunate. Yeah, a tricky little shot. Well

:28:31. > :28:38.negotiated. APPLAUSE

:28:39. > :28:49.He was a little bit fortunate in his last position shot. He redeemed it.

:28:50. > :28:50.That is better. He played that nicely.

:28:51. > :29:03.APPLAUSE Just had to miss that rd on the

:29:04. > :29:04.cushion. He is bound to be on two reds. He decided to go for the blue

:29:05. > :29:16.this time. He had a glance at this red last

:29:17. > :29:21.time, but he decided to play the other red.

:29:22. > :29:27.APPLAUSE Tight, isn't it? I don't know if he

:29:28. > :29:32.feels it is a an easy shot after this pot. He has played for the

:29:33. > :29:36.choice of two reds. This is a good effort. It is his first real

:29:37. > :29:39.opportunity to score in the opening 2.5 frames and he's taken these

:29:40. > :29:45.quite well so far. He's been out of position on a couple of occasions.

:29:46. > :29:49.He can definitely see the middle of the pocket, can't he? If he was dead

:29:50. > :29:51.straight bee hind it, but he's got a slight angle on this red so he is

:29:52. > :29:57.taking the other one. APPLAUSE

:29:58. > :30:40.MIT 57 in front. Red killer red. He

:30:41. > :30:42.would like to stretch for this because using the rest it is a hard

:30:43. > :31:07.shot. A pot for 10 points and he never had

:31:08. > :31:28.the cue ball in control in the whole break of 57 there.

:31:29. > :31:34.The first shot he's missed in this match. He is usually proficient with

:31:35. > :31:38.it and he will be glad to see it safe as well. A good effort, 57.

:31:39. > :31:45.He's been sitting in his chair for most of this afternoon's session. So

:31:46. > :31:47.a good response. It has left Neil with a problem. Idon't blame him

:31:48. > :33:40.taking a bit of time on this one. A clever shot. He tried to put the

:33:41. > :33:45.red on the black, which would have made it more difficult for Neil, if

:33:46. > :33:48.he should get a chance. The next couple of safety shots, should he

:33:49. > :34:13.get one, he will definitely be trying to push a red safe as well.

:34:14. > :34:31.It looks easy to play safe off the two reds. That is his choice.

:34:32. > :34:46.Chance of a red that is just below the pink spot here. I am wondering

:34:47. > :34:51.if that left over the -- the red over the left-hand middle would be

:34:52. > :34:52.OK if he didn't get it down over the baulk area. A great shot.

:34:53. > :34:59.APPLAUSE Wow! Well, he didn't deserve that to

:35:00. > :35:19.go in. A great pot. It always looked like it was going

:35:20. > :35:24.to be close. He had his heart in his mouth there. It looked like it was

:35:25. > :35:33.going in. There is now, anyway. -- it is now anyway. Yes, it is a good

:35:34. > :35:37.job it went in, of course. He misjudged the cue back to the baulk

:35:38. > :35:41.and that would have left the blue over the middle. As it is now, this

:35:42. > :36:26.red to make absolutely sure of this frame.

:36:27. > :36:34.I am very impressed with Judd in this frame. A couple of frames where

:36:35. > :36:39.he hasn't really had a good chance. An excellent shot there, just

:36:40. > :36:42.flicking the red out. This is a good response just to let his opponent

:36:43. > :36:50.know. Know heart how you are playing, what you are doing, I am

:36:51. > :36:53.still here and I am -- no matter how you are playing, what you are doing,

:36:54. > :37:08.I am still here and I am still playing well.

:37:09. > :37:16.He can't help himself, can he? He just loves to play naughty snooker.

:37:17. > :37:19.Have a look at this one when it hits the cushion. It fizzes around the

:37:20. > :37:19.back of the brown. Unlucky. LAUGHS

:37:20. > :37:36.. Well, it took him two visits, a

:37:37. > :37:40.break of 57 and 34, but Judd Trump has really got a foot hold in this

:37:41. > :37:46.session now. He goes clear again at 7 frames to 4. Quickly Robertson

:37:47. > :37:50.reduced his arrears by winning his 12th frame. He is 5 frames behind

:37:51. > :38:02.now and it is the Aussie to play again in the next.

:38:03. > :38:08.Sitting in his chair looking a little bit forlorn at the moment. It

:38:09. > :38:12.just hasn't happened for him this afternoon. It is not that he is

:38:13. > :38:15.playing bad, but every time he seems to get in, it is awkward. It will be

:38:16. > :38:29.awkward his next shot as well. Very good. Very good. Very hard to

:38:30. > :40:39.judge with that slope. That is an attacking safety shot, if

:40:40. > :40:44.ever there was one. He needs that green to come to his rescue and it

:40:45. > :40:46.hasn't. Renowned as one of the best long Potters in the game, Neil

:40:47. > :40:50.Robertson. He needs another one here. The way that these balls are

:40:51. > :41:07.spread, if he knocks it in, it lands on a colour. This is a great chance.

:41:08. > :41:29.A good pot and these really are very nice, indeed.

:41:30. > :41:35.Well, he didn't get into the white at all there. That cue ball should

:41:36. > :41:39.have been at least a foot further in the table and obviously a lot closer

:41:40. > :41:45.to this red. He felt he had a bad contact. Three points in front and

:41:46. > :41:50.if he gets on this next colour, you would expect him to win the frame at

:41:51. > :41:54.this visit. Maybe just rescue back for the pink in the same pocket. If

:41:55. > :41:56.not, he can run through for pink in the middle or black in the corner.

:41:57. > :42:42.APPLAUSE His facial expression tells us it is

:42:43. > :42:47.not the way he played that shot, but he will be pretty happy if this goes

:42:48. > :42:51.in. He is almost certain to be on the black or the pink. Now it looks

:42:52. > :42:53.to be plain sailing. But it never is at this stage of a match when you

:42:54. > :43:07.are playing catch-up. It has been workman-like this

:43:08. > :43:12.afternoon, Neil Robertson. He hasn't been his normal fluent self. It

:43:13. > :43:43.looks like he will win four of the five frames.

:43:44. > :43:52.He's taking these well here, but Judd definitely has hid chances in

:43:53. > :43:54.this frame. He missed the red in the corner here, 20-odd points and

:43:55. > :43:56.really, for someone of his capabilities, that is a very bad

:43:57. > :44:39.miss. He's already got a 40-point lead

:44:40. > :44:50.here. Just knock this red in and that will definitely win him the

:44:51. > :44:54.frame. Neil Robertson slowly, but surely, getting his way back into

:44:55. > :45:00.this. He will only be one frame behind, 7-6.

:45:01. > :45:13.Very fluent here. He is such a better player when he plays at this

:45:14. > :45:32.tempo. The best break of this match for

:45:33. > :45:35.Neil Robertson. He's won six frames so it just shows you given the

:45:36. > :45:50.chance... Oh, no clearance. This is a very,

:45:51. > :45:55.very big comeback from Neil Robertson. He's won four of the

:45:56. > :46:00.first five frames, but still trails by 7-6. Two frames on the spin then

:46:01. > :46:03.and Robertson was getting closer. One behind now, but every time he

:46:04. > :46:08.seemed to get within touching distance, Trump would respond. He

:46:09. > :46:22.won the next to go 8-6 ahead. Let's rejoin it.

:46:23. > :47:11.This is not an easy safety shot. Well, that is - I didn't really have

:47:12. > :47:31.a look at that before he played the shot.

:47:32. > :47:45.I looked at some stats and apparently he did look at that shot

:47:46. > :47:51.so an excellent shot. Now he is in a great position to score a few points

:47:52. > :47:54.here and possibly take a 3-frame lead going into the final session

:47:55. > :47:58.tonight. He would be delighted with the way that the session has gone to

:47:59. > :48:06.win three frames. Yeah, the big thing, of course, winning the last

:48:07. > :48:11.two frames of the session. You have pegged back to 7-6, but you can go

:48:12. > :48:43.on and finish this 9-6. He will be delighted with that score line.

:48:44. > :48:52.He can hold for pink or black here. Which ever he decides.

:48:53. > :48:57.He can hold for pink or black here. far. It is the first time I have

:48:58. > :49:01.seen a bit of a quick view action there. Certainly wasn't smooth

:49:02. > :49:05.seen a bit of a quick view action through the ball. A little bit of a

:49:06. > :49:09.jab at that one and he's enned up in no-man's land. So here comes a big

:49:10. > :49:09.blue. Looks like he is getting lined up for it.

:49:10. > :49:19.APPLAUSE Match time just goes to five hours

:49:20. > :49:24.now. Well, he is not Match time just goes to five hours

:49:25. > :49:32.blue. He is stretching on the black. Hmm. If he plays the blue, you fancy

:49:33. > :49:39.him potting it, if he plays the black or the pink, it is missable.

:49:40. > :49:43.him potting it, if he plays the As he knows it is the last frame of

:49:44. > :49:47.the session, surely - is this a bit risky taking a pot on, John? Would

:49:48. > :49:54.you not just play a safety shot? Yeah. Tough decision.

:49:55. > :50:03.Where the blue is, if I was Judd I think I would be playing the blue.

:50:04. > :50:08.If he can hold that and not get the cue ball on the spot on the blue, he

:50:09. > :50:18.has got a red next to him that is perfect. Tricky pink instead. Oh, it

:50:19. > :50:22.looked high for the moment. Once you take a shot like that, you deserve

:50:23. > :50:28.to get on a red. As you can see from here, he probably isn't on one. He

:50:29. > :50:34.is desperately unlucky if he is not. He played a superb shot there. Well,

:50:35. > :50:41.is it available? Oh, that is brilliant. I didn't think he was on

:50:42. > :50:45.one, but that was an absolute cracker. He has showed some bottle

:50:46. > :50:49.here, John, in the last two shots he's played. He has been out of this

:50:50. > :50:53.session totally, really. Like you said earlier on, if he wins the last

:50:54. > :52:02.two frames to go 3 clear again, this is a big feather in his cap.

:52:03. > :52:16.It was not in it spot there. I am sure he noticed that. Sometimes you

:52:17. > :52:18.just get down and play the shot and realise it is not reds. I think he

:52:19. > :52:38.is OK on the angle. This was the opening plan that he

:52:39. > :52:43.looked at. He took a little bit of time in looking at it and knowing

:52:44. > :52:48.that he was going to have a cue ball. As you can see, he got the

:52:49. > :53:06.plant perfectly. This is what has come of it - 57 and counting.

:53:07. > :53:28.Wow, a tough shot. An excellent 57. APPLAUSE

:53:29. > :53:36.What a chance this is. It is a big ask, one on the top cushion and one

:53:37. > :54:47.on the side. He has been threaten a lifeline in this frame.

:54:48. > :55:05.That really is a massive frame in the context of this match.

:55:06. > :55:13.We need that cue ball to go a little more. Looks like he has got the

:55:14. > :55:18.angle and he should be able to stun down on this blue. The two next to

:55:19. > :55:52.the black. A terrible kick there. A real big bounce that was.

:55:53. > :55:57.It is always encouraging when you pot a ball and have a kick.

:55:58. > :56:00.Obviously you have to put disappointment to the back of your

:56:01. > :56:02.find and when you are faced with a shot from under the cushion, it is

:56:03. > :56:14.not easy, but played that very well. They'll need the rest on that one

:56:15. > :56:17.under his hand at the moment in a couple of shots time. Does he play

:56:18. > :56:32.on the red or nudge it forward? There is your answer. Yeah and these

:56:33. > :56:36.are the shots the boys will be practising for hours on end that you

:56:37. > :56:38.can't simulate the position he is in here, The Crucible. Final frame of

:56:39. > :56:39.this session. APPLAUSE

:56:40. > :56:45.A massive shot. Beautifully cued. But, of course, he

:56:46. > :57:01.can't get near the red now. As it is such a good long pot you

:57:02. > :57:05.would think he would try to stun past the pocket to use it with his

:57:06. > :57:10.cue. That would be a good shout. He would want to know if the red is

:57:11. > :57:17.tight on that cushion. It would make the pot a little bit easier. It is -

:57:18. > :57:21.it is very close. I think sometimes it is so much harder when they are

:57:22. > :57:27.just that little bit off the cushion. A little surprised he is

:57:28. > :57:32.going leave himself for the rest. A stun just past the middle pocket, he

:57:33. > :57:36.would have been able to deliver the cue a little bit straighter with his

:57:37. > :57:39.own cue than the rest. As if this isn't tough enough. He is going to

:57:40. > :57:44.be leaving himself a very difficult one with the next. I don't like

:57:45. > :57:47.these at pace. He is going to hit the jaws and come out. What a shot

:57:48. > :57:52.that is! APPLAUSE

:57:53. > :57:58.That really is very good. Here is another one required and this has

:57:59. > :58:07.got loads of pressure on it. Oh, this one shot could spell 9-6 or

:58:08. > :58:12.8-7. That is what John talked about, the pressure on that shot was

:58:13. > :58:15.immense. Thank you. Sitting down, please. What a point that could be

:58:16. > :58:22.in this session. The context of this match.

:58:23. > :58:29.Judd Trump will think it is his birthday, having been left three

:58:30. > :59:03.little stun shots on the trot to win the frame.

:59:04. > :59:09.Neil Robertson one pot away from probably making it 8-7. In it goes!

:59:10. > :59:13.That is the last frame of this session. Judd Trump knows he is in

:59:14. > :59:16.front going into the final session this evening. Make sure you don't

:59:17. > :59:20.miss it. Judd Trump 9, Neil Robertson 6. Going into the last

:59:21. > :59:25.session I thought just keep my lead. Be patient and you should be OK.

:59:26. > :59:27.Trump, former UK champion by this point, was hoping to make quick

:59:28. > :59:50.gains, 19 points ahead here. Will he or won't he? No, he's player

:59:51. > :59:54.for the also red. Once again, hasn't got into the cue ball. They have

:59:55. > :59:59.been struggling with this white ball today. He is OK on this, but he

:00:00. > :00:05.would liked to have been a bit lower. Very well played. A bit

:00:06. > :00:12.unfortunate where the black has gone. He is on it, but he will have

:00:13. > :00:16.to go around the houses unless he can just hold it. He has got the

:00:17. > :00:21.angle there so he is on this red after the black respotted.

:00:22. > :00:27.These two players are both very, very proficient at going into the

:00:28. > :00:32.pack twlan are very, very tight. You need a lot -- when they are very,

:00:33. > :00:35.very tight. You need a lot of cue power. He would like to ark it

:00:36. > :00:39.around the front red and come into the side of the pack. Those blessed

:00:40. > :00:44.with cue power just need to miss that first red. That is what he has

:00:45. > :00:47.dope, but he didn't ark it quick enough. He missed the first red,

:00:48. > :00:55.which he wanted to do. Watch the cue ball here. He didn't want to hit the

:00:56. > :00:58.first one, he wanted to arc it in. If he had caught it full ball they

:00:59. > :01:34.would have spread all over the play. He just caught it half ball.

:01:35. > :01:44.With Judd Trump, he's got so many cue power. Just playing for the one

:01:45. > :01:48.in the centre. Crucial after this to cut a nice angle. He can come from

:01:49. > :01:57.pink or black to go into the reds if needs be. You just don't know what

:01:58. > :02:01.he will do next. You get criticising sometimes for being too open play.

:02:02. > :02:06.It doesn't bother me. I love watching him playing. I think he is

:02:07. > :02:10.very, very popular with the people who come to watch snooker. Dedicated

:02:11. > :02:14.pro now. He attends all of the tournaments and he practices very

:02:15. > :02:22.hard. He is maturing very quickly in his profession. This time he needs

:02:23. > :02:28.to catch that red full otherwise he will glance off into baulk. You see

:02:29. > :02:36.him glancing off. If he is on it, it is a good shot. He can see this red.

:02:37. > :02:38.Just looking to see if the red above the pack will pot in the same

:02:39. > :02:51.pocket. It played slow into the pack. He

:02:52. > :02:59.knew it was a bad pack. There is a five-ball plant there that would

:03:00. > :03:04.push that red up. The key shot. Whether he can screw into the punch

:03:05. > :03:06.from the pink. It will be pushing the red that is loose over to the

:03:07. > :03:19.corner pocket if he gets this right. It will go no the side of the pack

:03:20. > :03:21.and he is almost bound to push that over the corner. Unless he plays for

:03:22. > :03:29.it and it is developing in the middle. That was careless. Boy, that

:03:30. > :03:31.was careless. There is enough angle in the pink Terry to rescue back in

:03:32. > :03:53.the pack? Obviously not. This 52-point lead could disappear

:03:54. > :03:56.very, very quickly. Saving grace of course, the blue is on the side

:03:57. > :04:05.cushion, which will just about possibly need. He will certainly get

:04:06. > :04:31.right back into the frame. Not happy once again with the contact.

:04:32. > :04:59.An excellent shot. That brings every red into play now. In a couple of

:05:00. > :05:03.shots time, he pot the pink and get that on its spot. The blue is Judd

:05:04. > :05:14.Trump's only saig ball here, I think. Already Neil will be trying

:05:15. > :05:17.to get on that half-ball green and in 10 shots time, half-ball green,

:05:18. > :05:28.bring the blue into play, bring on the brown.

:05:29. > :05:34.He hasn't quit come high enough for this red. He has to try and flick

:05:35. > :05:38.the reds or stay on the black or nudge the pink towards the centre,

:05:39. > :05:46.but with that red being on the left of the table, they block the pocket.

:05:47. > :05:57.It has, I think. It is very tight to go in. End of break. I didn't think

:05:58. > :06:00.there was any chance he couldn't get those four. The mood he's in, he

:06:01. > :06:16.might take the yellow on. He is going to bring the blue into

:06:17. > :06:20.play. Can't blame him for that. Trump will be breathing a big sigh

:06:21. > :06:22.of relief here because it looked for all money that Neil would clear the

:06:23. > :06:56.reds. He brought the blue off one cushion

:06:57. > :06:59.and put it on another but it is slightly better. If he gets the

:07:00. > :07:06.opportunity to clear up again, that is one good chance gone for Neil.

:07:07. > :07:14.Judd Trump is looking at this long pot. He finds it so difficult the

:07:15. > :07:21.turn them down because he pots so many of them, but at this stage you

:07:22. > :07:25.feel that maybe better option to play a good safety here. 31 points

:07:26. > :07:47.in front. God blimey! A great pot. In this

:07:48. > :07:52.case the pink is on nothing. He might roll up to the pink, as we see

:07:53. > :07:57.this excellent pot. He just played to go past the pink and beyond the

:07:58. > :08:00.black, but the fact that the pink has gone touching ball, there didn't

:08:01. > :08:05.appear to be a problem. Just roll up to the pink. OK, Robertson will have

:08:06. > :08:11.no problem hitting the ball off the side cushion, but can he get it

:08:12. > :08:15.safe? The same as he doesn't want to hit the pink too hard and put the

:08:16. > :08:22.two reds together. That would be an easy target and a bit of roll up to

:08:23. > :08:28.them. He has put them together. He is looking down the line. He hopes

:08:29. > :08:34.there is no plant on there. Amazing. The plant is on, Terry. The only

:08:35. > :08:39.problem is, because they are absolutely dead in line for the

:08:40. > :08:43.pocket, if he kisses the first half-half ball, it would make it

:08:44. > :08:48.what they call a reverse plant. The only way he will get this plant if

:08:49. > :08:50.it is hit full ball. Of course he will be playing it hard. He has got

:08:51. > :09:07.to hit it full ball, though. There the two reds are absolutely

:09:08. > :09:11.smack in line. He could make a reverse plant and he could miss it.

:09:12. > :09:19.It is one of those - you have the play it hard and hope for the best.

:09:20. > :09:21.You need to hit it full ball. He's done it! Well played. Very well

:09:22. > :09:29.played. CHEERING

:09:30. > :09:38.He did put the two plays together. It is amazing how they have lined

:09:39. > :09:45.themselves up. APPLAUSE

:09:46. > :09:54.Here we see the plant again. Right in the centre and the other looked

:09:55. > :10:02.as if it was going in, but just went to the corner and stayed on. Just 24

:10:03. > :10:07.points behind now. That blue is still there and it is on the wrong

:10:08. > :10:21.side of the table for Neil Robertson, as a left-hander.

:10:22. > :10:33.Once again, didn't quite get the amount of spin that he wanted. He

:10:34. > :10:37.does pot well, doesn't he? He just had to play the pace right as well.

:10:38. > :10:41.He's played it almost to perfection. The reason I say that is he is going

:10:42. > :10:45.to be the wrong side of the brown. Rescue over to the left-hand side so

:10:46. > :10:50.the brown the blue is a little bit easier to get on, but it will need a

:10:51. > :10:55.hell of a positional shot to get onto the blue.

:10:56. > :11:08.Now will he play to move it or drop on the cushion to give him possibly

:11:09. > :11:11.three or four pockets to get on? If he can guarantee getting the pace

:11:12. > :11:14.right, he will play to get on the cushion because it gives him the

:11:15. > :11:37.bottom pockets, the middle pockets. He has brought it into play. What an

:11:38. > :11:42.absolutely tremendous shot. There was so much risk involved in that.

:11:43. > :11:44.If he didn't get the kiss from inside it, he would have been on

:11:45. > :11:49.nothing. A brave shot and APPLAUSE

:11:50. > :11:51.Let's remember Judd Trump led by 50-odd points in this frame. This

:11:52. > :11:56.one will hurt. Just the black then and what a steal

:11:57. > :12:28.it would be for Neil Robertson . CHEERING

:12:29. > :12:35.He stayed down on the shot as well. He's won the frame from well behind.

:12:36. > :12:44.Now just one difference, 9-8 to Judd Trump.

:12:45. > :12:49.He has hit it good. If it doesn't go off, it is a great shot. Very, very

:12:50. > :13:35.good. APPLAUSE

:13:36. > :13:45.A very thin curtain. He is in a worse position now. It is a

:13:46. > :13:54.free-ball, but it will not make any difference. That is going to play

:13:55. > :13:58.from where the cue ball has stopped. These days, when you have a foul it

:13:59. > :14:04.is very difficult, really, because there are so many options. The ref

:14:05. > :14:10.ree can give a miss. You can play when the ball lies itself. You can

:14:11. > :14:12.ask the other player to play the ball and get a free-ball. You can

:14:13. > :14:43.get punished a lot of times. That is the one you would like to

:14:44. > :14:49.get to. He's picked all of the angles out and he is pretty close.

:14:50. > :14:58.Oh! Incredible! They are all clapping,

:14:59. > :15:02.but that is so unlucky. What a tremendous escape it was. He looked

:15:03. > :15:07.at how on earth he would go around the back of it. If we get a chance

:15:08. > :15:09.to show you that get some time, how he's gone around the back of that

:15:10. > :15:25.red, I don't know. Any room to go around the back of

:15:26. > :15:27.that and he's mained to do. That he's come out nicely for the pink,

:15:28. > :15:49.though. 16-point lead. Still not perfect. Because of the

:15:50. > :15:52.closeness of the red and black, he may decide to play for the pink here

:15:53. > :15:56.rather than the black. We will wait to see what he decides to do. No, he

:15:57. > :16:03.decided to play for the black. Those two reds on the right-hand side are

:16:04. > :16:05.easily accessible and he has got a perfect angle on the black to get to

:16:06. > :17:03.those two. The pink will make it 44 in front.

:17:04. > :17:15.So every chance he is going to go two clear again.

:17:16. > :17:24.APPLAUSE The blue is there as well. He can

:17:25. > :17:57.get onto the black as well, if he wants. He has got a slight angle.

:17:58. > :18:00.Holding himself together as you would expect from a former world No.

:18:01. > :18:25.1 #. No big breaks but a job well done.

:18:26. > :18:30.He is ahead again this time by two frames. Well, the next two frames

:18:31. > :18:33.were shared. Trump now 11-9 in front and he's only two frames away from

:18:34. > :18:38.reaching the semifinal. Robertson, meanwhile, is running out of time if

:18:39. > :18:44.he is going to make this historic 100th century of the season.

:18:45. > :18:52.I suppose if he catches it cushion first, it is a big pocket, isn't it?

:18:53. > :18:56.It could go in off the other red. What he almost tried to do. Is there

:18:57. > :19:38.a gap anywhere now? At first glance, no.

:19:39. > :19:47.Safety again. Not sure if he tried to plant there, but there are balls

:19:48. > :19:53.moving all over the place. Pink does go around the corner on the left

:19:54. > :20:09.middle. Until it gets on the pink and clears a few reds away. It is

:20:10. > :20:13.not a great chance. He can flick into the red and that will make it

:20:14. > :20:18.flick into the top right-hand pocket. If this goes right he will

:20:19. > :20:21.have availability on all four major pockets. Just trying to get the pink

:20:22. > :20:23.out of the way and he's done that. Now this is a good chance to get

:20:24. > :21:09.seven or eight pinks at least. Taking a more difficult shot on a

:21:10. > :22:00.longer cushion to He is a very positive player. The

:22:01. > :22:03.safety has been taken more time than usual in this match, but you can't

:22:04. > :22:18.blame him with Trump following him. Always awkward when all of the reds

:22:19. > :22:26.are one side of the table. Oh, he didn't get a good contact

:22:27. > :22:37.there. Be careful of the green there. He is

:22:38. > :23:19.having a good look at it. It is Be careful of the green there. He is

:23:20. > :23:25.quite a way away from the green. A pink 36 he's had so far. 35 points

:23:26. > :23:40.in front. Slightly more difficult now.

:23:41. > :23:48.He has had options which reds play on, but he is going to be able to

:23:49. > :23:57.get tight positional control after this red.

:23:58. > :24:02.A good response from Neil. At time he was four frames behind this

:24:03. > :24:27.match. If he wins this, he black into play here. There is a

:24:28. > :24:27.perfect handling on the red in the corner pocket, but

:24:28. > :24:31.perfect handling on the red in the didn't win the frame just taking

:24:32. > :24:39.pinks. Another four reds, four pinks will be enough.

:24:40. > :25:14.55 in front. Two more reds, two pinks and he should close within

:25:15. > :25:25.one. An angle to stun over for the two

:25:26. > :25:33.reds. It looks pretty straight from here. The only hope is to rescue

:25:34. > :25:42.back for the red into the middle and you can see that is a really tight

:25:43. > :25:48.angle. Absolute ly gun-barrel straight. He needs to rescue back 18

:25:49. > :25:58.ins so he's got the red in the middle.

:25:59. > :26:08.He only screwed back 14. This will be tricky, this red. It is frame

:26:09. > :26:16.ball. No heroics here. He will just try to drop it in.

:26:17. > :26:24.Making it a little bit more difficult stunning it in. Very well

:26:25. > :26:29.played. 64. Very well played. Now he is going to take a chance of

:26:30. > :26:36.bringing the two reds into play near the black, if he wants. He is on 64.

:26:37. > :27:01.He needs to play this pacey, though, if he goes into the black.

:27:02. > :27:11.He might as well try to cut it in the middle, I suppose.

:27:12. > :27:18.Oh, what a shame but what a great effort. He gets even closer now and

:27:19. > :27:36.trails by one at 11-10. APPLAUSE

:27:37. > :27:41.This time he is sure to get the key ball on the cushion. Judd might be

:27:42. > :28:02.tempted at one here. The one in the right-hand looks like

:28:03. > :28:13.it is a very thin cut and Judd's position is in the lap of the Gods.

:28:14. > :28:17.He looked at the other red, but it is so thin, I think it probably

:28:18. > :28:23.would hit the red that is below it on the way down. He is taking the

:28:24. > :28:30.more positive shot. Red into the left corner.

:28:31. > :28:39.If he holds for the brown, it may be worth taking on. How is it looking?

:28:40. > :28:47.How is it looking? Boy, how has that not gone in.

:28:48. > :28:57.At that pace, how has that not gone in? Oh, I thought it was there. So

:28:58. > :29:19.did Judd. I don't any there is any way out

:29:20. > :29:23.here. He will have to play an aggressive shot. Maybe a long shot

:29:24. > :29:33.into the righthand top pot as we look. He can get onto the pink or

:29:34. > :29:37.black from that. Well he could pot and move the red off the corner with

:29:38. > :29:41.another red, but the problem is that red on the centre pocket all the

:29:42. > :29:43.time. If he doesn't get the cue ball to the right-hand side of the table,

:29:44. > :29:55.he would be leaving it on. I mean, they cut down the cushion,

:29:56. > :29:58.the one nearest the middle pocket on the left-hand side, he could play

:29:59. > :30:02.that red onto the other red and still get a good white, but he is

:30:03. > :30:08.still in trouble here. He is looking at the shot now. He really has got

:30:09. > :30:13.to get into the cue ball to miss the cannon on the blue and green when he

:30:14. > :30:15.plays this shot because he will need to get loads of screw inside to miss

:30:16. > :30:20.that blue and green. I think he will have to play this

:30:21. > :30:34.long pot in this right-hand corner. Stephen Hendry used to say, "If I

:30:35. > :30:39.loss the frame through playing a safety shot than a pot, I would

:30:40. > :30:40.never forgive myself." Can he miss the blue and green?

:30:41. > :30:49.APPLAUSE Fabulous. It is always going to be

:30:50. > :30:50.difficult to miss the blue and green, but luckily for him, it went

:30:51. > :31:02.in. Yes, he had to cut the red quit

:31:03. > :31:06.thing to get this angle. That is why he caught the blue and green.

:31:07. > :31:18.Doesn't matter if the red goes in, though.

:31:19. > :31:25.APPLAUSE This is the first time for the last

:31:26. > :31:30.four or five rounds everything is in open play. Look at the balls now.

:31:31. > :32:12.What a time this would be to make a sizeable break.

:32:13. > :32:18.If this was early in the match he should be saying he should win the

:32:19. > :32:21.frames from here where the bulls are, but at this stage where the

:32:22. > :32:33.pressure is on, anything is missable. A bit of noise in the

:32:34. > :32:45.crowd when he jumped above the shot, but no problem.

:32:46. > :32:49.At the moment he's invested in these small colours waiting to get up to

:32:50. > :33:02.the big stuff, pink and black. Just emptying the previous frame. --

:33:03. > :33:06.pre-empting the previous frame. He would be feeling very confident. He

:33:07. > :33:18.is just about OK. It looked difficult to make a mess

:33:19. > :33:31.of that shot, didn't it? But he has. He has hampered cueing.

:33:32. > :33:45.Onward positional shot. He needs to get up on these reds and blacks.

:33:46. > :33:52.Judd Trump hasn't potted a ball for over 26 minutes. That is a long time

:33:53. > :34:06.out there when you get into the business end of the match.

:34:07. > :34:14.Just have a look if that pink pots. If it doesn't, he is in trouble.

:34:15. > :34:18.There may be a slight chance of getting the gap through the reds to

:34:19. > :34:24.get onto the black but the pink is close to being unpotable. I think it

:34:25. > :34:29.play pot. He needs to pot this and cannon the red to the left of it.

:34:30. > :34:31.Now he has a chance. APPLAUSE

:34:32. > :35:32.A big chance. There looked to be an opportunity to

:35:33. > :35:43.play on the black, but he prefers the pink, obviously.

:35:44. > :35:50.There is likely to be an inch or two down on the cue bull. It is OK. It

:35:51. > :35:52.is not too thing to hole the cue ball, but it makes things a little

:35:53. > :36:13.more difficult. Just one got pot away from being in

:36:14. > :36:15.perfect position. Now he's got a chance as long as he's not straight

:36:16. > :36:29.on the black. It is good to see him walking around

:36:30. > :36:33.the table when he is making breaks. I think it suits his style more.

:36:34. > :36:36.Although he is taking longer on the safety shots, but you can understand

:36:37. > :37:01.he is keeping an eye on them. He just can't get pinpoint at the

:37:02. > :37:05.moment, can he? It has been hard work for 38. I don't know what the

:37:06. > :37:13.colour sequence has been, but it has been a few low ones. You can sequel

:37:14. > :37:15.lows, greens, browns, blues. No blues. Pinks and blacks. Everything

:37:16. > :37:30.but a blue. This could be good. A red at the top

:37:31. > :37:32.of the pack is available. What a lovely shot that was. A lovely shot,

:37:33. > :37:38.Terry. APPLAUSE

:37:39. > :37:42.A wonderful shot. He deserves what he gets from this now and hopefully

:37:43. > :37:55.if he does go onto win the frame it will be his century.

:37:56. > :38:19.What kind of angle is there on this red? Can he pot another and public

:38:20. > :38:22.another red into play? I think he could, Terry. He could bring another

:38:23. > :38:27.three reds into play here. Now then. APPLAUSE

:38:28. > :38:41.Now then, the century is a definite possibility.

:38:42. > :38:48.A little bit careless there. He didn't quite get the desired angle

:38:49. > :39:00.but he is OK to run through for the black there.

:39:01. > :39:07.The difficult red on the side cushion is the one that will be a

:39:08. > :39:11.really big problem. To make the 100, it will need four reds and four

:39:12. > :39:15.blacks, wouldn't he? It depends what he does with his next four reds

:39:16. > :39:22.because that red to get onto any other colour could be a problem. Now

:39:23. > :39:31.you have won the frame, Neil, you deserve the 100 strings. Yes, would

:39:32. > :39:40.it affect him for the next few frames? It is hard to say really.

:39:41. > :39:49.Trump is looking a bit forlorn. He's lost the last few frames on the

:39:50. > :39:54.trot. He hasn't done a lot wrong. It is not like he has been missing pots

:39:55. > :40:01.or anything like that. I just wonder whether he will risk getting on the

:40:02. > :40:02.difficult red now? There is your answer - he's risked it.

:40:03. > :40:50.APPLAUSE Not guaranteed to get perfect on

:40:51. > :40:51.this red. I wouldther him play for a baulk colour here, I really would,

:40:52. > :41:01.and make the 100 a certainty. APPLAUSE

:41:02. > :41:21.A nice angle. Surely now he is going to

:41:22. > :41:28.Two pots from an unbelievable record that might never ever get beaten

:41:29. > :41:36.again. CHEERING

:41:37. > :41:43.If this green goes in, he should be congratulated.

:41:44. > :41:54.CHEERING ! Absolutely unbelievable! There is

:41:55. > :41:59.a standing ovation. He certainly deserves that! He has been

:42:00. > :42:04.absolutely brilliant. At this stage in the game to produce that

:42:05. > :42:07.fantastic break is quite incredible. Congratulations to Neil Robertson,

:42:08. > :42:12.not only on the century but to have levelled the match 11-all. You would

:42:13. > :42:16.think he had won the World Championship. What a fantastic

:42:17. > :42:21.experience. I set myself pretty early in the season. After three

:42:22. > :42:24.events I was on 20-odd centuries and obviously the opportunity was there

:42:25. > :42:29.to go for 100 centuries so a lot of my focus was on trying to get the

:42:30. > :42:35.100 centuries, to be the first player to make 100 centuries. Who

:42:36. > :42:39.knows if someone else would do it again in others might do it again

:42:40. > :42:44.but I wanted to be the first. People always remember the first guy to do

:42:45. > :42:47.it. It was a real goal of mine and I was absolutely over the moon. I have

:42:48. > :43:07.never felt so relieved in my life before.

:43:08. > :43:14.Judd looking at the plant here. Those two below the pink.

:43:15. > :43:31.Attention. He is going to have a go at this. I Sacred Heart Church

:43:32. > :43:40.tension because if it didn't go in, we knew this was going to happen. --

:43:41. > :43:44.I said attention because if it didn't go in, we knew this was going

:43:45. > :43:49.to happen. He is independent guaranteed to win the frame at this

:43:50. > :43:54.visit. It will be very, very tough to get onto a colour. -- not

:43:55. > :43:59.guaranteed to win the frame at this visit. It will be very, very tough

:44:00. > :44:03.to get onto the colour. He could roll through and play the pink in

:44:04. > :44:06.the middle. The angle is not very noise. But, as you can see, the pink

:44:07. > :44:26.is tricky. A quick pot again. This is just

:44:27. > :44:26.amazing, isn't it? APPLAUSE

:44:27. > :45:37.Right in the middle of the pocket. Judd is still 8 # and he hasn't had

:45:38. > :45:39.a shot for three frames. -- 8 # and he hasn't had a shot for three

:45:40. > :45:55.frames. It is part of that 90%. This is the first time the white

:45:56. > :45:59.could run loose. He has to play this very slowly. Once again, in the

:46:00. > :46:03.middle of the pocket. Perfect position. Pink on. Three reds, three

:46:04. > :46:20.colours. He is one away from victory.

:46:21. > :46:27.That young man is now going to have to dig deeper than he ever has had

:46:28. > :46:33.to in his life. Somehow he is going to have to make something happen.

:46:34. > :46:40.But at the minute it has just been flawless snooker. It is hard to

:46:41. > :46:43.explain how you feel in the chair when you are kept out of a match.

:46:44. > :46:53.You don't feel part of the match somehow.

:46:54. > :46:59.Such a big audience here watching this match, enjoying every minute

:47:00. > :47:04.and Judd Trump is there thinking that he is the only one in the room,

:47:05. > :47:09.he feels so lonely there. Is the middle red of those five pot in the

:47:10. > :47:12.righthand corner? If it does, he doesn't have to play the cannon.

:47:13. > :47:20.Just coming around to have a look now. It is really, really tight. It

:47:21. > :47:24.probably goes just - he doesn't feel it does. That is why he's played for

:47:25. > :47:25.the slightly more difficult red. Once again, he is absolutely

:47:26. > :47:39.inch-perfect. He played three frames against Mark

:47:40. > :47:39.Allen to win the match when he was leading 10-7 or

:47:40. > :47:44.Allen to win the match when he was and played three frames on the trot

:47:45. > :47:59.where he never missed a ball. This I think is even better

:48:00. > :48:08.APPLAUSE Well, Judd has decided not to

:48:09. > :48:10.continue playing snookers so 68-nil. Robertson takes the lead for the

:48:11. > :48:23.first time in the match at 12-11. It definitely goes in off the

:48:24. > :48:29.right-hand jaw, but can he hit it hard enough to bring black into

:48:30. > :48:38.play? Surely Neil checked that before he played his safety shot?

:48:39. > :48:47.Television monitor, Neil, just to check to see if it does go. Don't

:48:48. > :48:51.forget this is not over yet. I don't see how he can kiss the red out of

:48:52. > :48:55.the way, though. He is going to hit the black which will push the black

:48:56. > :48:59.to the cushion. Now, there is a slight sense of the he plays it

:49:00. > :49:10.firm, it could help the pot rather than playing it slow. We will never

:49:11. > :49:15.know. We will never know. Well, that looked really bad because it caught

:49:16. > :49:18.the other red early on and the balls were manoeuvring all over the table,

:49:19. > :49:22.but you can still understand why Judd has gone for the shot because

:49:23. > :49:26.he just not getting opportunities and he feels he's got to go out

:49:27. > :49:29.there and grasp it, wrather than wait for them. This will be his last

:49:30. > :49:39.one, though. APPLAUSE

:49:40. > :49:46.I have seen a lot of performances over the years, the Stephen Hendries

:49:47. > :49:52.and the O'Sullivans and the Steve Davis's but from the position he was

:49:53. > :49:56.in, the last five frames from Neil Robertson, they have been up with

:49:57. > :50:00.the best I have seen. He has literally played flawless safety.

:50:01. > :50:05.All of the frames have been scrappy. Pink or black has never been on the

:50:06. > :50:09.spot. He's had to graft all the time. There was no warning in that

:50:10. > :50:14.really. He didn't look as if he had it in him to do it. Didn't look

:50:15. > :50:27.wonderful, but he just turned it around. Cue ball is running loose.

:50:28. > :50:32.Cue ball is running loose. Just when you thought there was a lifeline.

:50:33. > :50:58.Thank you. Settle down, please. This is a stat. You won't believe an

:50:59. > :51:05.hour and 4 minutes at the business end of a match he's been stuck on 11

:51:06. > :51:10.frames for all of that time. It is normally difficult to stop Judd

:51:11. > :51:18.Trump at all, even for 5 minutes. He's got a pot on here, though.

:51:19. > :51:22.Starting to get nearer that point now and one bad shot could cost him

:51:23. > :51:28.it. Well done. Very well done. APPLAUSE

:51:29. > :51:37.I think he will have to take the risk. This was an excellent pot. I

:51:38. > :51:41.was about to say he is about to take the risk of playing the blue into

:51:42. > :51:45.the pink because he is going to win this frame and get back to 12-12, he

:51:46. > :51:48.needs to make it happen. Right here, right now. He's missed the pink.

:51:49. > :51:57.Still OK. APPLAUSE

:51:58. > :52:06.You can play for a black. It will be a thin cut but he could also go for

:52:07. > :52:20.the blue. We will see what he thinks of it. Looks like black.

:52:21. > :52:31.Pot the black. He is bound to be on the other red, but if he misses the

:52:32. > :52:37.cannon, there is nowhere. He has played the cannon.

:52:38. > :52:44.APPLAUSE Well played. Free to the reds. Well,

:52:45. > :52:50.this would be a monumental task having been off the table for all of

:52:51. > :52:57.that length of to produce a break to get back into the frame. He commits

:52:58. > :53:00.all the time, doesn't he, when he gets in the balls? That is 2 what

:53:01. > :53:06.everybody likes about him. He tries to make things happen all the time.

:53:07. > :53:17.He is very refreshing to watch. Not many like him in the game, really.

:53:18. > :53:27.On that right-hand side is obviously horrible for a left-handed player as

:53:28. > :53:30.well. If he has an angle on the next red he may try to bring the red off

:53:31. > :53:34.the cushion with He may honestly just try and bring

:53:35. > :53:36.this red off because you don't want to be playing this red on the

:53:37. > :53:52.cushion with the rest, do you? May be a little too straight to do

:53:53. > :53:56.that as Neil Robertson looks on. He's played it. Well played!

:53:57. > :54:08.CHEERING What a fantastic shot! At that stage

:54:09. > :54:12.of the match, brilliant! That is the stage this player has got to at this

:54:13. > :54:16.stage of his player. I hope he continues to play that way. If he

:54:17. > :54:23.runs it in, he's got to produce the pace to perfection.

:54:24. > :54:31.So unlucky there to have left such a difficult pot. What a shame the

:54:32. > :54:36.match is possibly going to end like that. Just having a look at the

:54:37. > :54:40.scoreboard, the green of course - beneath needs that. He was so

:54:41. > :54:58.concentrating and just drifed past the pink. -- drifted past the pink.

:54:59. > :55:07.He needs the brown as well, so there may be a bit of life left in this

:55:08. > :55:11.frame yet. He needs a nice angle on the yell least to pot it into the

:55:12. > :55:20.corner pocket and to have a nice angle to get on the green. This is a

:55:21. > :55:23.key shot here now -- yellow to pot it into the corner pocket and to

:55:24. > :55:30.have a nice angle to get on the green. This is a key shot here now.

:55:31. > :55:33.From a match that was looking a little pedestrian, it is now looking

:55:34. > :55:43.like a match of the tournament. Will he get another shot? Somebody is

:55:44. > :55:47.coughing badly in the back and it is disturbing if Neil. That is awesome.

:55:48. > :55:56.That is awful. That is enough, please, thank you. -- that is awful,

:55:57. > :56:03.that is awful. That is enough, please, thank you. I am glad he

:56:04. > :56:09.thought about that. If he missed it and had been disturbed that would

:56:10. > :56:14.have been a disaster This is two straight. They can get close to the

:56:15. > :56:18.brown. If he has to leave the white anywhere in baulk, the brown will be

:56:19. > :56:21.tricky. He needs to get close to the brown. It obviously is straight

:56:22. > :56:36.otherwise it would already be down. If he hits it too hard he could miss

:56:37. > :56:43.the green then. It is not a certainty of power. That is what he

:56:44. > :56:46.is doing. What a shot that was! CHEERING

:56:47. > :57:06.That is unbelievable. Honestly! It is unbelievable!

:57:07. > :57:11.There have been plenty of comebacks at The Crucible over the years, but

:57:12. > :57:17.this has been up there with the very, very best. Absolutely

:57:18. > :57:25.brilliant. I feel so sorry for Judd Trump. He has hardly had a shot

:57:26. > :57:30.until that last frame. Well, Neil Robertson, you have got to take your

:57:31. > :57:34.hat off to him. Judd Trump shakes his hand. A standing ovation from

:57:35. > :57:39.this Crucible audience. You have seen something very special this

:57:40. > :57:42.evening. 100 centuries and also a comeback that is up there with the

:57:43. > :57:45.very best comebacks of all time. Neil Robertson goes into the

:57:46. > :57:54.semifinal winning by 13-11. Boy, is he pleased! I felt so confident. I

:57:55. > :57:57.think wunt I got to 11-8, 11-9 I was sort of in control of the match and

:57:58. > :58:01.I wasn't really missing anything. I was putting him under a lot of

:58:02. > :58:05.pressure. At that stage you need to focus on your own game and go about

:58:06. > :58:09.your business really. You know if you keep it up, you will probably

:58:10. > :58:12.come out on top. He completely outplayed me the last four frames. I

:58:13. > :58:16.didn't get a chance. The balls didn't really run for me. It was

:58:17. > :58:20.just one of those games where everything was set up for him.

:58:21. > :58:26.Robertson's pulsating finish was worth the entry fee alone for that

:58:27. > :58:29.Crucible crowd. The Australian went onto make a further three centuries

:58:30. > :58:35.in the semifinal, although he did lose that match to Mark Selby. So he

:58:36. > :58:40.finished on 103 tonnes for the campaign. It is just another one of

:58:41. > :59:02.the many achievements of Robertson, the greatest overseas player

:59:03. > :59:07.Along with hundreds of other wounded, injured

:59:08. > :59:11.they've been competing for a place at the Invictus Games
