:00:36. > :00:41.2014. Please welcome your hosts, Gary Lineker and David Walliams.

:00:42. > :01:11.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Thank you. Hello Sport Relief 2014!

:01:12. > :01:15.Hello! Welcome to the show. What a show it's going to be. That's right.

:01:16. > :01:21.This year's Sport Relief is the biggest ever, big comedy, big sport,

:01:22. > :01:26.big music, big surprises. Of course, big ears. That's a yellow card

:01:27. > :01:31.before we start. What's more, Sport Relief has landed at the home of the

:01:32. > :01:36.London Olympics, the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, we are

:01:37. > :01:41.here all night live from the Copper Box Arena. Not only that, we also

:01:42. > :01:54.have taken over the Aquatic Centre and the Velodrome for... The Clash

:01:55. > :02:01.Of The Titans! You do that well. Thank you. Tonight Sport Relief hero

:02:02. > :02:05.John Bishop is going head-to-head with legend Lord Coe captaining two

:02:06. > :02:10.teams as they take on five sporting challenges, first up let's go to

:02:11. > :02:16.Gabby Logan at the Velodrome. Hello and welcome. The excitement is

:02:17. > :02:19.building here. That is because we have some unforgettable television

:02:20. > :02:24.moments coming up. I can promise you that. We have two gripping cycling

:02:25. > :02:29.events and gymnastics as you have never seen it before. You do not

:02:30. > :02:34.want to miss this. See you later. Thank you, Gabby. What an amazing

:02:35. > :02:38.atmosphere. Over at the Aquatic Centre, bringing you every splash,

:02:39. > :02:41.dive and sequinned swimming costume, it's Clare Balding. Hello, Clare.

:02:42. > :02:46.Hello there, thank you very much. Hello to everybody here at the

:02:47. > :02:51.Aquatic Centre. This was my home during London 2012. In that pool

:02:52. > :02:55.tonight you are going to see things that you have never seen before.

:02:56. > :03:00.There will be the most stunning synchronised swimming display and

:03:01. > :03:03.the final of The Clash Of The Titans, and the title will be

:03:04. > :03:09.decided here with a race in front of this wonderful crowd.

:03:10. > :03:14.Amazing. Thank you, Clare. Up soon it's men's cycling elimination. That

:03:15. > :03:17.will be closely followed by Patrick Kielty versus Greg James in the

:03:18. > :03:22.synchronised swimming. Ah, swimming! I don't know if you are aware, Gary,

:03:23. > :03:28.but I actually have swum the Channel and the length of the River Thames.

:03:29. > :03:36.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Stop it! Yes, I was aware. You did

:03:37. > :03:38.make me watch both your documentaries today. We can do a

:03:39. > :03:43.quick talk and slide show for you later. Can't wait! We are so excited

:03:44. > :03:52.that we are presenting together. If you don't know who this man is, it's

:03:53. > :03:56.not my dad, this is Gary Lineker. APPLAUSE AND CHEERING

:03:57. > :04:02.I am told he used to be a footballer. This is David Walliams

:04:03. > :04:06.and I am told he used to be a comedian. It was a long time ago.

:04:07. > :04:11.People have forgotten about it. But the good news is tonight there's

:04:12. > :04:20.something for the mums. And something for the grandmas. Love

:04:21. > :04:25.you, Gary! That's your grandma. You may joke but I am actually very big

:04:26. > :04:30.with the over-80s. You are like catnip to them. It's time to get

:04:31. > :04:35.ready to tap your feet and clap along, we have the biggest girl band

:04:36. > :04:37.in the world right here performing this year's Sport Relief single,

:04:38. > :08:30.it's Little Mix! Word up girls! That was brilliant.

:08:31. > :08:34.Give it up for Little Mix! Brilliant. Word up to you, David.

:08:35. > :08:38.You don't know what that means, do you? Not a clue. You can download

:08:39. > :08:46.that brilliant single right now and please do. Let's try to get it to

:08:47. > :08:50.number one this weekend. Now there is a reason why the girls

:08:51. > :08:53.made the Sport Relief single, we asked them to go to a hospital in

:08:54. > :08:58.Liberia to see why the work Sport Relief does is so important. It had

:08:59. > :09:03.quite a profound effect on them. Here's what they saw there.

:09:04. > :09:09.# Do your dance, do your dance. Tell me what's the word.

:09:10. > :09:16.# Word up. In Liberia we were lucky enough to

:09:17. > :09:20.meet some amazing kids. But, unfortunately, we also met some kids

:09:21. > :09:27.for whom life is really, really tough. In this hospital we learned

:09:28. > :09:32.that malaria still kills a child in Africa every single minute. Malaria

:09:33. > :09:38.is the number one cause of death in this hospital. These are children

:09:39. > :09:43.running around going to school, so that really can hurt.

:09:44. > :09:49.There are sick kids everywhere we look. Nearly all of them have

:09:50. > :09:51.illnesses that could easily have been prevented and now some of them

:09:52. > :10:11.are fighting for their lives. Many of these kids have got malaria

:10:12. > :10:15.because they didn't have a mosquito net to sleep under. Four-year-old

:10:16. > :10:20.Anthony has been admitted with a severe case of malaria. As the

:10:21. > :10:25.doctors try to treat him Anthony screams for his mum but all she can

:10:26. > :10:30.do is comfort him, wait and hope for the best because in some cases of

:10:31. > :10:36.malaria the disease can affect the brain. The mortality rate, the death

:10:37. > :11:02.rate in children is for every ten you see, you may lose three or four.

:11:03. > :11:08.Nothing can prepare you for what you are going to see. It's just so much

:11:09. > :11:11.to take in. Everybody could have a chance to experience this and see

:11:12. > :11:15.for themselves exactly what these children have to go through. More

:11:16. > :11:21.than anything it's frustrating for me to be here. We are coming here

:11:22. > :11:25.and as much as we take things for granted, they can get a net and it's

:11:26. > :11:29.done. Tlas no reason for them to be ill, no reason for them to be dying.

:11:30. > :11:38.No reason for that. That's why it's frustrating. It's ?5 for a net. It's

:11:39. > :11:46.so hard to see. It's obviously a shock. The worse thing as well for

:11:47. > :11:52.the mothers, it's not really a shock, it's almost as if they expect

:11:53. > :11:56.the worst. A lot of people think that our generation don't do

:11:57. > :12:02.anything and I think this is a perfect example to change that. So,

:12:03. > :12:08.please, please give what you can. It really, really does help. It's just

:12:09. > :12:10.?5 and that can save a child's life. Please call 03457 910 910 and give

:12:11. > :12:24.what you can. Thank you. Girls, I know there's something you

:12:25. > :12:30.wanted to say tonight. Yeah, just, it was heartbreaking what we saw and

:12:31. > :12:35.it's easy to prevent. It's only ?5, whether you follow - if you are

:12:36. > :12:40.sitting at home and want to help give what you can really.

:12:41. > :12:47.APPLAUSE Thank you girls. It's really

:12:48. > :12:51.appreciated. Donating tonight is incredibly easy. You can call 03457

:12:52. > :12:55.910 910. Make sure you have your credit or debit card ready for

:12:56. > :13:02.action. Standard geographic charges from landlines and mobiles will

:13:03. > :13:05.apply. Or you can head to bbc.co.uk/Sport Relief and donate

:13:06. > :13:09.money online. Or you can journey into the past and take your money to

:13:10. > :13:14.any bank, building society or post office. You can even write a cheque,

:13:15. > :13:17.yes, they still exist. Make it payable to Sport Relief and send it

:13:18. > :13:28.to: There's one more important thing, no

:13:29. > :13:36.matter how you are donating we would love it if you it -- if you would

:13:37. > :13:41.let us claim Gift Aid tonight. Please make sure you say yes. This

:13:42. > :13:46.means the kind and caring taxman will give Sport Relief an extra 25p

:13:47. > :13:55.for every pound you donate. If you give ?1 we get 1. .25. ?10 and we

:13:56. > :14:01.get ?12. 50. It's a no-brainer when it comes to Gift Aid, just say yes.

:14:02. > :14:08.The show's just going to get better and better. Here's what we have

:14:09. > :14:15.coming up for you tonight. Tonight on Sport Relief: Our Olympic

:14:16. > :14:21.heros step into the ballroom. Welcome to a special Strictly Come

:14:22. > :14:26.Dancing! Del Boy and Rodney are back with a special friend. If I asked

:14:27. > :14:37.you to go into the high street wearing a sarong, would you? Well...

:14:38. > :14:46.Miranda Hart gets sporty. Follow me in Miranda's... There is Mock The

:14:47. > :14:53.Week with Andy Murray. The first look at England's official World Cup

:14:54. > :15:02.video. A special celebrity Mastermind, music from Coldplay,

:15:03. > :15:08.Katie B and Boy sds zone and Kylie performs a classic. And the The

:15:09. > :15:22.Clash Of The Titans. John Bishop, be very afraid. Let's see what you have

:15:23. > :15:27.got, Seb! A brilliant show in store and I must say, having done a fair

:15:28. > :15:30.few Sport Reliefs in the past, nothing comes close to when Beckham

:15:31. > :15:35.meets the boys from Peckham. Trust me, you really can't miss it.

:15:36. > :15:39.Certainly can't. I'll tell you what, I'm also excited about Kylie being

:15:40. > :15:43.on the show. Pf You are a very big fan, aren't you?

:15:44. > :15:48.Yes, I just can't get her out of my head!

:15:49. > :15:53.He's attempted comedy, oh! Please promise me you'll never do that

:15:54. > :15:57.again. I promise I'll try my best. Tonight is all about raising money.

:15:58. > :16:03.It's why we are all here, so please make a donation.

:16:04. > :16:08.David, if I were to say moonlight butchers to you, would you know what

:16:09. > :16:13.that meant? Yes, it was the nightclub in Soho where we

:16:14. > :16:19.antecedent No, it's definitely not that one. That is it. A vertical

:16:20. > :16:24.rock facing Utah. This week, Alex Jones took on the challenge of a

:16:25. > :16:28.lifetime and attempted to conquer it for Sport Relief. Let us see how she

:16:29. > :16:36.got on. This is Alex against the rock. After a 15-hour journey to

:16:37. > :16:45.Zion National Park, I'm about to discover what I'm up against. Where

:16:46. > :16:51.is it? That's it there. Oh, no. Oh, no, I can't. I'm not standing on

:16:52. > :16:58.anything. Straight leg. Get your leg up. When I first met you, you said

:16:59. > :17:06.the most important thing is for to it be hard. It will get easier. All

:17:07. > :17:12.I genuinely want to do now is get off this wall. But I will not be

:17:13. > :17:20.defeated. Come on, let's go. It's a little birthday cake. Happy

:17:21. > :17:25.birthday Alex. Aw. It's quite impressive. Really impressive.

:17:26. > :17:38.-. . Yes!

:17:39. > :17:40.APPLAUSE Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome

:17:41. > :17:58.Sport Relief's latest hero, the incredible Alex Jones!

:17:59. > :18:05.Wow. Congratulations, Alex. How does it feel to have conquered the rock?

:18:06. > :18:08.I'm literally fresh from the rock. I've not been home yet, straight

:18:09. > :18:12.here. Have you had a shower? I've had a little shower. Thank goodness

:18:13. > :18:17.for that. I haven't washed my hair, but I've had a shower. I just feel

:18:18. > :18:24.elate and overwhelmed by how much support I had and how generous

:18:25. > :18:31.everybody was. But getting to the top, honestly, I breathed a huge

:18:32. > :18:35.sigh of relief. I literally clung to a tree becausedown and being on

:18:36. > :18:40.ground is underrated seriously. How tough was it? I'd bitten off more

:18:41. > :18:43.than I could chew really. When we started, within the first hour, I

:18:44. > :18:46.just realised what had was in front of me and I felt so small in

:18:47. > :18:50.comparison to this huge rock, you know. Aisle not a climber,

:18:51. > :18:55.obviously, but it was just really hard and just the exposure and the

:18:56. > :19:01.height, it was all very difficult and it was pet reifying for three

:19:02. > :19:06.days -- petrifying. What inspired you to do this? I dayed trip to the

:19:07. > :19:11.Philippines about three weeks ago and the Philippines, honestly, it

:19:12. > :19:17.looks like the typhoon's only just happened. I met three sets of

:19:18. > :19:23.people, Patricia and Sadie who'd lost their siblings, Tess who, she

:19:24. > :19:28.hadn't lost her children but she had to go and find them during the

:19:29. > :19:34.typhoon and her story was incell. A lady called Delia who had lost her

:19:35. > :19:43.home and her his and was living in a really small tent. -- story was

:19:44. > :19:47.incredible. That moved me up to the top, it was very moving and

:19:48. > :19:52.incredible. You have certainly gone above and beyond to help those that

:19:53. > :19:59.need it most. So time now to see just how much comblourn amazing

:20:00. > :20:02.challenge has raised. Ready? I think so -- -- how much money your amazing

:20:03. > :20:11.challenge has raised. Ready? Yes. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:20:12. > :20:29.Incredible. Absolutely unbelievable. That is an unbelievable amount,

:20:30. > :20:34.Alex, thank you so much. No, thank you to everybody who donated. Just

:20:35. > :20:38.so generous. Please just keep ringing tonight because so many

:20:39. > :20:42.people need your help. Brilliant, absolutely superb. So, Alex Jones

:20:43. > :20:46.put herself on the line to take on the rock and now it's time to meet

:20:47. > :20:51.12 more sbrep it competitors ready to push themselveses to the limit.

:20:52. > :20:57.All in the name of Sport Relief. Let's go to the velodrome and meet

:20:58. > :21:06.the two teams ready to battle it out in Clash of the Titans.

:21:07. > :21:11.The atmosphere in here is electric! It's like 2012 all over again.

:21:12. > :21:16.I'll tell you why, because we have two fabulous teams about to fight it

:21:17. > :21:19.out over five Olympic events. To find out who is going to become the

:21:20. > :21:24.champion of clash of the titleps 2014. It's going to be a night of

:21:25. > :21:35.tears and probably tantrums, of sweat, Lee rowic effort, bravery and

:21:36. > :21:39.team bonding. For one there'll be rejection, dejection, tears.

:21:40. > :21:46.Despair. We'll support them every inch of the way. Ready to meet the

:21:47. > :21:52.teams? -- heroic. I think the answer is yes and first up, it's Daily

:21:53. > :22:00.Mirror Bishop. -- it's Team Bishop.

:22:01. > :22:04.I've done the cycling, rowing, running. This is not about a week,

:22:05. > :22:10.this is about one night. I've spoke to my team and we are ready for

:22:11. > :22:15.this. I'll take nothing but the best from them. Freddie Flintoff. A

:22:16. > :22:20.legend. He got me across the channel last time, he'll do it again. Nicola

:22:21. > :22:25.Adams, a lady, a fighter, an athlete. Patrick Kilty, the most

:22:26. > :22:33.athletic person ever to come out of Northern Ireland. Helen Skelton, the

:22:34. > :22:37.most competitive woman ever. Nick Grimshaw is the surprise that we've

:22:38. > :22:41.got waiting. And then there's me. Most of the time I'm just an

:22:42. > :22:47.ordinary bloke. Not tonight. Tonight I'm a titan!

:22:48. > :22:53.This is it. Let's see what you've got, Seb!

:22:54. > :23:04.Now, let's meet them in person. Here come Team Bishop. Leading the way,

:23:05. > :23:17.Freddie Flintoff. Next, we have Helen Skelton.

:23:18. > :23:23.Coming up now, Nick Grimshaw. She packs a punch, ladies and

:23:24. > :23:33.gentlemen, Nicola Adams! Here he comes, Mr Patrick Kielty. And,

:23:34. > :23:41.finally, their Team Captain, John Bishop.

:23:42. > :23:48.John Bishop, they look fit and focussed. How've you got your team

:23:49. > :23:54.motivated? I said to them, just look at what colour you've chose to wear.

:23:55. > :23:59.You've backed the winner. It was pure coincidence, I'm showing no

:24:00. > :24:03.bias. It wasn't a coincidence, I bought them clothes for you, let's

:24:04. > :24:12.be honest. Ladies and gentlemen of the juries

:24:13. > :24:16.Team Bishop! -- ladies and gentlemen, Team

:24:17. > :24:23.Bishop. Let's have a look at Team Coe. I'm Seb Coe, Captain of the

:24:24. > :24:27.team, I was a middle distance runner, won medals, broke records

:24:28. > :24:35.and headed up the team that delivered the Olympic and Paralympic

:24:36. > :24:40.Games. Pf I have no intention of losing. I've

:24:41. > :24:47.got The A-Team here, John Bishop, be very afraid.

:24:48. > :24:54.Greg James, he'll be making waves for Team Coe. Olly Murs, he's ready

:24:55. > :24:59.for his greatest performance ever. Amy Williams, she's the ice Queen

:25:00. > :25:03.with nerves of steel. Sally Phillips, she's the joker in the

:25:04. > :25:07.pack. Richard Bacon, he's got the talk and I know he can walk the

:25:08. > :25:14.walk. And then there's me. I've got a few

:25:15. > :25:20.tricks up my sleeve. Team Bishop, we 're coming for you!

:25:21. > :25:27.And here are Team Coe in the flesh. First up, it's Olly Murs.

:25:28. > :25:42.Sally films. -- Sally Phillips. Greg James.

:25:43. > :25:55.Amy Williams. Richard Bacon.

:25:56. > :25:59.And we have the Bishop 's opposition, Seb Coe!

:26:00. > :26:04.All right, don't milk it, don't milk it!

:26:05. > :26:09.I just passed him in the corridor earlier and he said, don't speak to

:26:10. > :26:13.me, I'm in the zone. A lot of team bonding going on there, are you

:26:14. > :26:21.winners though? We are in the zone. We are going to win tonight. This is

:26:22. > :26:25.what you built these venues for? This is what we have been building

:26:26. > :26:30.up to, all the rest was detail. I can smell it. Slightly concerned

:26:31. > :26:34.about Seb's mental state. The teams will compete in four Olympic events.

:26:35. > :26:39.They'll win points for each event. Those points will be converted, not

:26:40. > :26:43.into prizes, but into time and that time will be crucial because the

:26:44. > :26:47.final event which will decide the winner is a swimming relay and the

:26:48. > :26:51.more points you have, the greater the head start, it's crucial. That

:26:52. > :26:55.means nobody will be out of it when we get to that final event. We have

:26:56. > :27:00.a long way to go before then. Plenty of opportunities for points. The

:27:01. > :27:04.first event will be the men's cycling elimination. That means

:27:05. > :27:11.somebody here, some of these blokes will be in line for it. You don't

:27:12. > :27:16.want to miss it. Great fighting talk. Team Bishop and

:27:17. > :27:21.team Coe are clearly up for this. The gloves are well and truly off.

:27:22. > :27:27.You are very good at this. I think you could do presenting as a job.

:27:28. > :27:31.Even you must have seen Match Of The Day, surely? Sorry, Gary, I don't

:27:32. > :27:35.like tennis. I want to tell you something which I think is really

:27:36. > :27:38.important for every pound you donate tonight, half of it will be spent

:27:39. > :27:42.right here in the UK. I think that matters and I know you

:27:43. > :27:48.do too. Since we started Sport Relief 12 years ago, we have given

:27:49. > :27:51.grants of nearly ?100 million to projects doing hugely important work

:27:52. > :27:57.right here. And there's a lot more to be done.

:27:58. > :28:05.How do you comfort someone who feels completely isolated and completely

:28:06. > :28:10.alone? For 65 year, we were together all the time. What can you do to

:28:11. > :28:19.help a family whose home has been destroyed? I can't stop shaking.

:28:20. > :28:24.Sorry. How would you make life easier for a mum struggling to buy

:28:25. > :28:34.food for her children? She's my life. We make games to do because we

:28:35. > :28:38.can't have breakfast. How can you be there for someone battling mental

:28:39. > :28:42.illness? I thought I was worthless, didn't see the point in me living

:28:43. > :28:49.any more. What could you possibly say to a child to make things better

:28:50. > :28:53.after they lose someone they love? As a mum, I wanted to make things

:28:54. > :29:04.better. It was the hardest thing ever. Tonight right here in the UK

:29:05. > :29:09.tonight, there are thousands of people who need help in the UK. I

:29:10. > :29:15.miss my dad. The hardest thing is to know that she won't get better.

:29:16. > :29:19.Sometimes it's hard to know the answers. To find the right words. Or

:32:03. > :32:05.for our younger viewers. Yes, if you have raised money for Sport Relief

:32:06. > :32:13.at school then I am talking about you. Every year some of our most

:32:14. > :32:17.dedicated and enthusiastic fundraise fundraisers are school children.

:32:18. > :32:20.Thousands of children get active and help raise an incredible amount of

:32:21. > :32:24.money for Sport Relief. This time they've been going above and beyond

:32:25. > :32:30.raising cash like never before and they all deserve a huge thank you.

:32:31. > :32:38.We have come to Everton's training ground to give a group from

:32:39. > :32:43.Northcote Primary School in Merseyside a little surprise. Hello

:32:44. > :32:48.everybody. Look at that, headbands on already. Right, you think you are

:32:49. > :32:53.at Everton's training ground for a tour. But, who would like to meet

:32:54. > :32:59.three blokes that wear blue for a living? The children don't know is

:33:00. > :33:11.they're about to meet the Everton manager and England international's

:33:12. > :33:13.Leighton Baines. You have been magnificent in your work you have

:33:14. > :33:19.done in the school. We are going to organise a game. Leighton will play

:33:20. > :33:26.with the red side. And Leo with the white team. So enjoy it.

:33:27. > :33:33.There we go. We have our striker. Enjoy the football and listen to the

:33:34. > :33:37.captain. With both teams picked we are under

:33:38. > :33:59.way. The scores are tied so it's time to

:34:00. > :34:01.bring on the Everton goalkeeperer Tim Howard to settle things from the

:34:02. > :34:28.spot. So the Sport Relief Cup goes to...

:34:29. > :34:34.The reds have won 5-2! Thank you to all the kids that have

:34:35. > :34:40.raised money at schools across the country and there's lots of you. Up

:34:41. > :34:43.soon we have the return of Britain's best-loved sitcom, Only Fools and

:34:44. > :34:47.Horses, after 11 years away they are back alongside a very special guest.

:34:48. > :34:55.He is a real friend of Sport Relief, so famous and handsome that even

:34:56. > :35:02.David's heard of him. David? He is so dreamy, Gary! Oh, dear! Look at

:35:03. > :35:07.this. It's yours truly... For years he has

:35:08. > :35:13.been one of our biggest supporters. David, before we start I want to put

:35:14. > :35:17.you at your ease, I am not here to make you look stupid. I can do that

:35:18. > :35:22.myself. He has been willing to put himself in tricky positions. Is your

:35:23. > :35:26.little boy starting to put sentenceses together. He is saying

:35:27. > :35:36.bits and pieces, yeah. And what about Brooklyn? We have even seen

:35:37. > :35:43.him get cosy with Smithy. You, stop it! Tonight, Beckham is in Peckham.

:35:44. > :35:53.If I asked to you go out into the high street wearing a sarong, would

:35:54. > :35:57.you? Well... That looks brilliant. Here is John Bishop.

:35:58. > :36:02.Two years ago I travelled with sport port to Sierra Leone -- with Sport

:36:03. > :36:10.Relief to Sierra Leone. I went to one of the poorest areas, to a slum

:36:11. > :36:16.area. I saw many things that shocked me and surprised me and stayed with

:36:17. > :36:20.me a long time. I met an 11-year-old girl called Kadiatu. Her story

:36:21. > :36:25.particularly moved me because some of the challenges she faced no child

:36:26. > :36:43.should have to face. Can you explain where we are?

:36:44. > :36:47.What are your worries for the future? What are the things that you

:36:48. > :37:03.worry about? You lost your sister and you worry

:37:04. > :37:08.you will die too. Since then, because of your donations I have

:37:09. > :37:15.been told that things have changed quite dramatically in Kadiatu's

:37:16. > :37:17.life. Sport Relief-founded projects have helped her family find a new

:37:18. > :37:42.home. They now have access to clean water,

:37:43. > :37:57.toilets and Kadiatu is now going to school.

:37:58. > :38:05.You are making the difference. These are the things that really, really

:38:06. > :38:12.matter, the good stories, the things that show you, you are changing

:38:13. > :38:17.lives right now. Please keep your donations coming in and remember

:38:18. > :38:26.there is a smile somewhere waiting to happen. Thank you.

:38:27. > :38:32.Quite right, thank you, John. Sport Relief is about people coming

:38:33. > :38:38.together to change lives. Here is a special performance from Coldplay.

:38:39. > :38:43.We are pleased to be part of Sport Relief. If you would like to donate

:38:44. > :39:07.please call 03457 910 910. Thank you so much.

:39:08. > :39:46.# And I don't and I don't and I don't and I don't

:39:47. > :39:51.# I don't, no I don't No I don't, no I don't

:39:52. > :39:56.# I don't, no I don't No I don't, no I don't

:39:57. > :40:02.# I don't, no I don't No I don't, no I don't

:40:03. > :40:58.# And I don't and I don't and I don't and I don't

:40:59. > :41:03.# I don't, no I don't No I don't, no I don't

:41:04. > :41:09.# I don't, no I don't No I don't, no I don't

:41:10. > :41:13.# I don't, no I don't No I don't, no I don't

:41:14. > :43:15.Thank you to the amazing Coldplay. Not only for that performance but

:43:16. > :43:22.also for their credibly generous donation to Jo Whiley and her

:43:23. > :43:25.challenge. I feel bad I didn't know you are a famous sports presenter so

:43:26. > :43:29.I thought I would Google you. Oh, no! What have you found? It's

:43:30. > :43:37.actually very interesting what comes up when you type in Gary Lineker

:43:38. > :43:46.hot. It's not those shorts I used to wear in the 80s? It's better than

:43:47. > :43:52.that, have a look at this. You look boiling! What would you

:43:53. > :43:55.call those, Gary? Tight, very tight! We should move on quite quickly.

:43:56. > :43:59.It's almost time to cross to the Velodrome for the men's cycling

:44:00. > :44:02.elimination race. As any professional sportsman will tell

:44:03. > :44:07.you, you can't perform without a proper warm-up. Tell me about it, I

:44:08. > :44:12.love a lunge. Careful, careful, David. It's important you lot are

:44:13. > :44:18.all warmed up too. When it comes to health and fitness only one name

:44:19. > :44:24.springs to mind and it's not his, it's Miranda Hart.

:44:25. > :44:28.Hello Sport Relief 2014. A hearty good day to you all. I am sorry I

:44:29. > :44:32.can't be with you tonight in person but I am on tour. However, when

:44:33. > :44:36.Sport Relief came knocking and asked for my services, I dropped

:44:37. > :44:42.everything. It was unfortunate because I was in the supermarket

:44:43. > :44:47.queue at the time! A little joke. Sport Relief knocked because as

:44:48. > :44:52.Britain's fittest woman in every sense it is my duty to ensure that

:44:53. > :44:56.Sport Relief is fully warmed up and match ready for the epic show ahead.

:44:57. > :45:03.It's important wherever you are, wherever you are watching, to get

:45:04. > :45:17.up, get moving and follow me in Miranda's Massive Move-a-thon.

:45:18. > :45:22.Pipe down. Actual maraccas. It's a physical warm-up. If you don't

:45:23. > :45:27.happen to have a pair of maraccas at home, make your own version, Sport

:45:28. > :45:36.Relief water bottles, right. Look at that. Fill it with rice. Everyone at

:45:37. > :45:41.home, are you ready? We are ready! Brilliant, Clare Balding in the

:45:42. > :45:55.Aquatic Centre, are you ready? Oh, yes we are ready! Team Bishop and

:45:56. > :46:01.Team Coe and the possie, are you ready? Yeah! Gary and David in the

:46:02. > :46:06.studio, ready? Yes, Miranda, we 're ready.

:46:07. > :46:13.Right, now, are you ready, David? Right, now, are you ready? I'm

:46:14. > :46:21.ready. David Haye yes. Are you ready, David Ginola? Follow you

:46:22. > :46:25.anywhere. Two Davids. What can I say? !

:46:26. > :46:28.And, by the way, I absolutely did not have a poster of David on my

:46:29. > :46:38.wall when you were playing for Newcastle, I didn't, that is a gross

:46:39. > :46:45.accusation.) I on. (I did) Cue the music. Lovely. The Nolan

:46:46. > :46:50.sisters. Looking good. I'm in the mood for

:46:51. > :46:56.fund-raising. Right, we 're going to start. The

:46:57. > :47:04.first move is the Usain Bolt move, the Lightning bolt. Yeah.

:47:05. > :47:21.Looking hot. Yeah. Stretch the arms. Right. Now, we 're going to go into

:47:22. > :47:26.another move. The Mobot. Five, six, seven, eight. We've never looked

:47:27. > :47:34.better. Fact. Team Bishop, shows your moves. Looking good.

:47:35. > :47:37.Team Coe, get ready. Come on. Now, everyone at the Aquatics Centre

:47:38. > :47:47.centre, ready? We are going to do the front crawl. Lovely.

:47:48. > :47:56.Think of Michael Phelps, yes. Now, Hawaiian.

:47:57. > :48:05.We 're out of time, but crack on. OK.

:48:06. > :48:17.Olympic Park, uh Hawaiing? Are you shaking that rack coos like we are

:48:18. > :48:22.-- Maraccas like we are? Galloping.

:48:23. > :48:39.Looking good. Condeprach layingses to you all --

:48:40. > :48:40.congratulations. Give yourself a massive maracca clap. Well done,

:48:41. > :49:03.everybody. Glad that's over with! Thank you,

:49:04. > :49:09.Miranda and of course David and David. Hope that's got you limbered

:49:10. > :49:13.up and in the mood for the first event of Clash of the Titans. The

:49:14. > :49:16.British Olympic team take to the floor in a special Strictly Come

:49:17. > :49:22.Dancing. Plus Kylie Minogue will be here live in the studio performing a

:49:23. > :49:29.special song, especially for you, with a special guest. And we have

:49:30. > :49:32.got the very first play of England's official World Cup video starring...

:49:33. > :49:37.Well, me, and some other bloke called Gary. Can I just get a selfie

:49:38. > :49:42.with you, is that OK? Now? Yes. Everyone's doing it. They did it at

:49:43. > :49:46.the Oscars. Let's see if we can get a billion re-Tweets. OK, I'm going

:49:47. > :49:49.to upload it on to the big screen there for everyone to see. There we

:49:50. > :50:01.go. That is a good one of you, Gary, you

:50:02. > :50:07.look so fresh faced. Had a bit of work done? That's depressing. Can we

:50:08. > :50:11.take that down, please, very quickly? Now the moment we have all

:50:12. > :50:16.been waiting for. Let us see what has been going on in the velodrome.

:50:17. > :50:21.This is the very first event in, let's do it together... Clash of the

:50:22. > :50:29.Titans! Welcome back. Now, this track here

:50:30. > :50:34.has seen some pretty amazing moments in sporting history. We are going to

:50:35. > :50:39.add to that tonight, aren't we? It's the men's elimination race. Three

:50:40. > :50:48.men will compete. Let's find out who they are.

:50:49. > :50:56.In most Rayses, it's all about the winner. In most races, it's all

:50:57. > :51:01.about who crosses the line first. We are in the elimination. All eyes

:51:02. > :51:08.are on the rider who crosses the line last.

:51:09. > :51:14.Just keep an eye out... When you hear the bell ring. It's time for a

:51:15. > :51:18.sprint lap. When it's time to sprint, you pedal like your life

:51:19. > :51:22.depends on it. Laura, you have to find speed. It's you against the

:51:23. > :51:29.pack. Eye ball to eye ball. Wheel to

:51:30. > :51:36.wheel. Is she going to do it? No, she's not. Yes! Whoever's last to

:51:37. > :51:41.cross the line, is out. Laura Trott is going to win the elimination

:51:42. > :51:47.race. Great riding, Laura. Be physical. Hold your line. Just don't

:51:48. > :51:59.finish last. Well, the Queen of the track,

:52:00. > :52:05.Victoria Pendleton no less, is here to offer some words of wisdom. Much

:52:06. > :52:09.appreciated by the crowd here. They want somebody who'll be a steadying

:52:10. > :52:17.influence. Tell them, what is the key to e-Lib Dem nation racing --

:52:18. > :52:20.e-Lib Dem nation racing? -- elimination racing. Some people like

:52:21. > :52:26.to take it on from the front and set the pace and stay out of trouble, so

:52:27. > :52:30.you could play it either way really and sit back or do it that way.

:52:31. > :52:35.Thank you very much. Let me stand between the captains, Seb Coe not on

:52:36. > :52:39.a bike, John Bishop has offered to go for it here. You have Freddie and

:52:40. > :52:44.Paddy there, what are you thinking? I've got a good team behind me.

:52:45. > :52:48.Paddy is the pacemaker and Freddie's the powerhouse. What are you? So I'm

:52:49. > :52:53.just making up the numbers, to be honest. I'm the only one who looks

:52:54. > :52:55.good in Lycra. LAUGHTER

:52:56. > :53:00.Is that the reason why you are not there then? No, they just decided to

:53:01. > :53:08.play their joker card early. Fighting talk. What is the thinking

:53:09. > :53:12.about opting out? If I could borrow your dress tonight, it could be so

:53:13. > :53:16.much better than the original costume. Any words of wisdom? They

:53:17. > :53:21.are in the zone, they know what they are doing, poise, patience and

:53:22. > :53:25.balance. They look petrified, but I think for an event of this

:53:26. > :53:29.magnitude, we need somebody with gravitas who knows exactly what it's

:53:30. > :53:34.like to perform on the biggest stage. How did we get you, Daley

:53:35. > :53:39.Thompson, amazing, I can't believe you are here to start this race? Nor

:53:40. > :53:43.can I, it's brilliant. I want to say that earlier on, they showed me the

:53:44. > :53:48.starting gun and I was waving it around and seven of the audience

:53:49. > :53:53.came up and gave me their wallet and a watch. He'll be starting this

:53:54. > :53:58.shortly. Let's go to Simon Brotherton and Chris Boardman, our

:53:59. > :54:03.commentary team. The World Championships in crop ya a

:54:04. > :54:06.couple of weeks ago were a small event compared to this. We are

:54:07. > :54:13.almost ready to go with the first event. Lets's take a look at the

:54:14. > :54:21.line-up for the men's elimination match.

:54:22. > :54:28.The rules are simple. Every other lap, the bell will ring and at the

:54:29. > :54:34.end of the next lap, the last rider over the line will be eliminated.

:54:35. > :54:38.Then we are left with three riders and that's when they'll sprint for

:54:39. > :54:43.the victory. John Bishop has his team behind him.

:54:44. > :54:46.It's the last person over the line who is out of the race, so it's

:54:47. > :54:50.going to be very interesting to see how the tactics develop. A real

:54:51. > :54:54.spread of abilities in this group, of course. They have to be bunched

:54:55. > :54:57.together as they get towards the line or the race will not start.

:54:58. > :55:01.Looks OK at the moment. Going a little slow on the bank though.

:55:02. > :55:06.Looks OK, but Olly Murses bringing up the rear, dawdling at the back.

:55:07. > :55:13.John Bishop starting as he means to go on, leading from the front. Daley

:55:14. > :55:20.Thompson get us under way. Clash of the Titans has started. Mind on

:55:21. > :55:27.attack there and blocking tactics from the Bishop Team, looking over

:55:28. > :55:34.the shoulders. This was a pre-thought out tactic.

:55:35. > :55:38.The first elimination is coming up the next time around.

:55:39. > :55:44.Patrick Kielty going for a flyer, making sure he stays out of trouble.

:55:45. > :55:48.Down the back straight looking over his shoulder. Olly Murs is still at

:55:49. > :55:54.the back, coming around the outside. The three blue riders from Team Coe

:55:55. > :55:57.at the back. One is going to go as they cross the line. Here they come

:55:58. > :56:02.up towards the line. It's really close. It might be John Bishop.

:56:03. > :56:05.Could be. Perhaps they overplayed their hand a little bit. I think it

:56:06. > :56:11.could have been John Bishop there and it was indeed.

:56:12. > :56:15.Well, John Bishop's ridden all the way across the world on his bike

:56:16. > :56:19.from the past from Sydney to Liverpool, took nine months to do it

:56:20. > :56:23.and took too long to get around that first lap. He was the first one out.

:56:24. > :56:27.Not good for the Liverpool contingent, all those years training

:56:28. > :56:33.on Kirkby velodrome! Clearly that was all for nothing. And we are up

:56:34. > :56:36.for the next elimination now. Luckily they are all up on their

:56:37. > :56:43.wheels at the moment. This is going to be another tight one. Towards the

:56:44. > :56:46.line, Freddie Flintoff nearly brought Greg James down. How on

:56:47. > :56:50.earth has he stayed on his bike? Well, he hasn't now. He was wobbling

:56:51. > :56:55.around the corner as Olly Murses led them over the line. Look at this

:56:56. > :56:59.from Freddie Flintoff and the last one over the line was Richard Bacon.

:57:00. > :57:04.I think Richard Bacon could be well out of it. They are going to perhaps

:57:05. > :57:09.neutralise the race now. The yellow flag is out. Freddie Flintoff forgot

:57:10. > :57:13.the main rule of track racing, turn left, straight on turn left. He went

:57:14. > :57:17.the long way down as well. Normally riders tend to tumble to the right

:57:18. > :57:21.and the speed scrubbed off by the shape of the track, and he didn't

:57:22. > :57:27.seem to be injured. Probably more damage to the track there.

:57:28. > :57:30.GUNFIRE We are under way again.

:57:31. > :57:34.There was more damage to the track than to Freddie himself. He's

:57:35. > :57:39.steadier on a pedalo than he is on two wheels on dry land, that's for

:57:40. > :57:46.sure. Patrick keelly again hitting the front. That warm-up lap, they

:57:47. > :57:51.knew how important it was. One more elimination to go. Flintoff has been

:57:52. > :57:55.informed that the elimination race isn't literal, so let's hope he

:57:56. > :58:00.stays upright. I wouldn't like to be riding next to him. It's neck and

:58:01. > :58:05.neck. Patrick Kielty has been overtaken by

:58:06. > :58:11.Olly Murs and Gregs James, the Radio 1 DJ. Flintoff staying in it.

:58:12. > :58:13.Those are the three that will contest the finish. Greg James

:58:14. > :58:17.dropped out. They all steam be taking a bit of a

:58:18. > :58:22.breather now and this is a really important part of the race. They've

:58:23. > :58:29.only got the finish to go. There's a bit of a discussion going, some

:58:30. > :58:35.tactics here. They have got the numbers advantage. We are in the

:58:36. > :58:39.gold medal factory here for fr the Olympic Games. So many legends on

:58:40. > :58:43.this track in 2012. Who is going to deliver and win this one now? Olly

:58:44. > :58:46.Murs is going for a flyer. Here comes Freddie Flintoff with a sprint

:58:47. > :58:53.on the inside. Look at the power there from Freddie

:58:54. > :58:59.Flintoff! On the deck one minute. He's won the race! Extraordinary!

:59:00. > :59:05.Almost eliminating himself by ending up on the boards back in the race

:59:06. > :59:12.and on top at the end. Freddie Flintoff takes the six points. Here

:59:13. > :59:17.is the strint again. What a race -- sprint. Olly Murs launched the

:59:18. > :59:21.attack early but rode high. Flintoff saw the opportunity and he was

:59:22. > :59:26.afraid of nothing. He went straight up the inside. Murs shocked but

:59:27. > :59:32.nothing he could do against the power of Flintoff.

:59:33. > :59:39.And there's our winner. Unexpectedly so given that he was on

:59:40. > :59:44.the deck a few moments before. Wow, did you get your tactics right?

:59:45. > :59:50.It would appear so, but first out, you seemed surprised When we started

:59:51. > :59:54.off, I was far too relaxed but I knew Freddie would do it in tend. I

:59:55. > :59:58.was personally disappointed but I know it's all about the team. Did

:59:59. > :00:01.you employ the right tactics? Freddie's a bit of an animal. You

:00:02. > :00:07.have probably seen the best of him tonight. The guys have to stay calm

:00:08. > :00:09.and come through. Here he is. Freddie Flintoff dripping with

:00:10. > :00:14.sweat, there's blood down there as well. Let's have a look at your

:00:15. > :00:18.injuries. Blood on your arm. He's absolutely thrown his body on the

:00:19. > :00:26.line for that victory. Freddie, never in doubt? I thought Olly had

:00:27. > :00:30.me at one point. But I think that tactical fall off did me good. On

:00:31. > :00:34.the back straight, I dug in. It's great fun. Thanks to everyone here.

:00:35. > :00:40.Amazing, thank you. Well done, Paddy, not too late for Ireland for

:00:41. > :00:45.Rio you know? Freddie said to me, just lead Olly out, tire Olly out

:00:46. > :00:47.and the big legs got there in the end! Let's confirm the result with

:00:48. > :01:13.the commentary team. We have had blood, sweat, tears.

:01:14. > :01:22.It's just one event down and four to go. It's synchronised swimming next.

:01:23. > :01:26.Patty Patty -- Paddy and Greg, get yourselves off into lycra and we

:01:27. > :01:30.will see you later on. Incredible stuff.

:01:31. > :01:33.Do you ever get the impression that Andrew Flintoff is quite

:01:34. > :01:39.competitive? Apparently he is OK. He is fine. After the first event Team

:01:40. > :01:47.Bishop has 11 points. Team Coe has ten points. It's close.

:01:48. > :01:53.David Tennant went to Africa for Sport Relief and took time out from

:01:54. > :01:58.his stage role in Richard II, hence the hair extinctions, to visit --

:01:59. > :02:01.extensions to visit Sierra Leone, this is what he saw.

:02:02. > :02:07.This is a rubbish dump in Sierra Leone. Welcome to hell on earth.

:02:08. > :02:15.Flames rise from the hazardous waste and toxic smoke fills the air. It's

:02:16. > :02:19.a shock to turn up here on a Tuesday morning and see this mess that's on

:02:20. > :02:26.fire. I think that's what's most shocking about it, it's actually

:02:27. > :02:31.burning. What's even more shock shocking... Is that children are

:02:32. > :02:36.working on this dump. How young are these children? These

:02:37. > :02:40.are between age of six to 12 years. Is it every day of the week they

:02:41. > :02:51.come here? Every day, every day. This is their life. They don't have

:02:52. > :02:57.parents? Most are orphans. As every new truckload of rubbish arrives the

:02:58. > :03:05.adults get first pick. Leaving the kids to scavage through what's left.

:03:06. > :03:09.What these children really want is to go to school, but for that they

:03:10. > :03:11.need uniforms and books and at the moment they can barely afford to

:03:12. > :03:22.eat. These are two of the children who

:03:23. > :03:26.come here every day, they live next to the dump with their sick

:03:27. > :04:01.grandmother. Do you have memories of your mum and dad?

:04:02. > :04:09.The future for children like this is so bleak that it's barely

:04:10. > :04:14.comprehensible. This is a miserable place to spend a day, let alone the

:04:15. > :04:18.best part of a childhood. They come here every day and sift through

:04:19. > :04:20.other people's rubbish to make enough money to live. They don't

:04:21. > :04:25.have a choice, that's what they've got. They're not difficult, they're

:04:26. > :04:29.not lazy, they're just unlucky. They don't have a choice. You do. You

:04:30. > :04:33.could help them. It costs ?50 a year to send a child here to school.

:04:34. > :04:38.Please help. Please give them a childhood because

:04:39. > :04:44.this is barely an existence. You wouldn't let your own kids work

:04:45. > :04:51.here. 03457 910 910. Or go online. Change their future,

:04:52. > :04:55.please. ?50 gets a child to school for a

:04:56. > :04:59.year. It gets them a start in life. It gets them a future. That's what

:05:00. > :05:04.tonight is all about. We need your help to do it. I know we keep asking

:05:05. > :05:08.and you keep giving, you are the most generous people in the world

:05:09. > :05:12.and that's a fact. You really are. Please help us to help kids like

:05:13. > :05:18.those you have just seen. The number is 03457 910 910.

:05:19. > :05:21.Whilst we are talking telephone numbers, I would like to take the

:05:22. > :05:25.opportunity to thank the good people at BT. Yes, the volunteers and staff

:05:26. > :05:29.have been with us since the very beginning and without them you

:05:30. > :05:37.wouldn't be able to make your generous donations that have changed

:05:38. > :05:42.so many lives. Take a look at this. This spring, Sport Relief presents

:05:43. > :05:51.an epic journey through four decades. The 1980s. It's time. Thank

:05:52. > :05:57.you for calling, how much would you like to donate? Through the 1990s.

:05:58. > :06:05.Have we got anything? We have nothing.

:06:06. > :06:14.We are good to go? Yeah, guys. And into the noughties.

:06:15. > :06:17.Let's do this. Now in 2014 powerful forces must join together for the

:06:18. > :06:32.sake of charity. An army of staff raising

:06:33. > :06:38.unbelievable amounts of money. A Legion of volunteers helping normal

:06:39. > :06:45.people make extra ordinary donations. Critics are calling them

:06:46. > :06:55.epic, heroic, sensational. Coming soon to a call centre near you.

:06:56. > :07:02.APPLAUSE Brilliant. That's not all, BT also

:07:03. > :07:08.donated through their Speaking Clock campaign and Dial for Davina days

:07:09. > :07:13.and the staff have been fundraising like crazy. Let's see how much

:07:14. > :07:19.they've raised. Wow!

:07:20. > :07:24.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Well done.

:07:25. > :07:28.Congratulations and thanks to everyone for doing their bit. If you

:07:29. > :07:32.haven't done anything yet, why not start right now? And you know what,

:07:33. > :07:38.you don't even need to pick up the phone to make a difference. If you

:07:39. > :07:41.are sat at home with your tablet or laptop in front of you it couldn't

:07:42. > :07:54.be simpler to donate. Do it now. That video of a water-skiing

:07:55. > :07:57.squirrel can wait. Type in bbc.co.uk/Sport Relief, follow the

:07:58. > :08:01.instructions online and have your debit or credit card at the ready.

:08:02. > :08:07.Coming up a special version of one of my favourite shows, Strictly Come

:08:08. > :08:12.Dancing. Gary, there's only one real way to introduce this. Dancing the

:08:13. > :08:22.American Smooth, will Gary Lineker and his life partner David Walliams

:08:23. > :08:31.please take to the floor. No chance! You heard the man Gary. But that was

:08:32. > :08:36.you just doing the voice. No, it wasn't, Gary. Seriously, this is

:08:37. > :08:39.awe-inspiring. Our British Paralympic heros in a truly unique

:08:40. > :08:48.Strictly Come Dancing. From London, this is Sport Relief

:08:49. > :08:51.does Strictly Come Dancing! Woo-hoo!

:08:52. > :08:59.APPLAUSE AND CHEERING Thank you very much. Good evening

:09:00. > :09:02.and welcome to this very special Yes, we missed you so much

:09:03. > :09:10.that we're back for one night only and tonight we have got four of

:09:11. > :09:13.the country's top Paralympians who are swapping the track,

:09:14. > :09:16.field, pitch and court for the Strictly ballroom. Between

:09:17. > :09:19.them they've got gold medals, championship titles

:09:20. > :09:22.and world records galore. to get their hands on

:09:23. > :09:26.the glitterball medal. My name's David Clarke,

:09:27. > :09:32.I play football for England and Great Britain. Scored 128 goals

:09:33. > :09:36.and loved every minute of it. I am part of Great Britain's

:09:37. > :09:42.sitting volleyball team. Listen to the noise

:09:43. > :09:44.for Martine Wright! My name is Nathan Stephens,

:09:45. > :09:47.I'm a Paralympic javelin thrower. And that's a huge throw

:09:48. > :09:51.from Nathan Stephens! I'm Hannah Cockroft,

:09:52. > :09:56.I'm a wheelchair racer. It seems all a bit surreal now,

:09:57. > :09:58.when I think about it. Literally my dreams came true

:09:59. > :10:01.in 18.05 seconds. The margin of victory is huge.

:10:02. > :10:04.It's like watching Bolt. A gold medal for Great Britain,

:10:05. > :10:06.Hannah Cockroft. Hannah Cockroft and her partner,

:10:07. > :10:22.Pasha Kovalev. David Clarke and his partner,

:10:23. > :10:27.Karen Hauer. Martine Wright and her partner,

:10:28. > :10:36.Ian Waite! And Nathan Stephens and his partner,

:10:37. > :10:40.Iveta Lukosiute! We're thrilled to have you here,

:10:41. > :10:51.well and truly Strictlified. Good sequin action, Martine.

:10:52. > :10:58.I like it a lot. Now, they're going to be performing

:10:59. > :11:01.together tonight, but our judges will be looking at their

:11:02. > :11:03.individual performances and the couple they deem to have

:11:04. > :11:06.danced the best will win a coveted Sport Relief

:11:07. > :11:07.glitterball medal. OK, Martine, obviously, as athletes,

:11:08. > :11:13.you're all very driven. What do you think about

:11:14. > :11:16.the competition tonight? Tonight you've got four Paralympians

:11:17. > :11:21.on the floor, Nathan, clearly

:11:22. > :11:37.you are a strapping lad. Show us the guns. Check that out.

:11:38. > :11:40.He's a strong boy. He's a very strong boy. I believe you.

:11:41. > :11:42.Thank you, Iveta. Right, well, it wouldn't be Strictly

:11:43. > :11:45.without some glamorous judges to match our dazzling dancers

:11:46. > :11:58.And you'll notice that we have a very special guest judge tonight.

:11:59. > :12:00.He's competed in four Paralympic Games

:12:01. > :12:04.and has won no less than, wait for it, ten gold medals.

:12:05. > :12:09.Please welcome dressage legend Lee Pearson!

:12:10. > :12:16.Welcome, judges. Lovely to see you all as ever.

:12:17. > :12:19.And Lee, have you been practising your dance critique?

:12:20. > :12:23.Well, it is called Strict-Lee, isn't it? It is.

:12:24. > :12:27.And I am replacing a very strict person sat here.

:12:28. > :12:30.doesn't mean you have to be horrible tonight, OK?

:12:31. > :12:32.I'll try and behave. Right, let's see

:12:33. > :12:36.how these seriously competitive athletes got on in training.

:12:37. > :12:40.When I was born, I had two cardiac arrests within 24 hours,

:12:41. > :12:42.which damaged two different parts of my brain.

:12:43. > :12:48.My ninth birthday, a slow freight train was going past,

:12:49. > :12:51.and me being the adventurous, silly child that I was

:12:52. > :12:54.decided to jump on one of the ladders.

:12:55. > :12:58.Sadly I slipped and my legs got caught under.

:12:59. > :13:03.I had a little bit of sight from the start,

:13:04. > :13:07.but then it kind of deteriorated over time.

:13:08. > :13:10.I got on the tube and then about ten minutes after that,

:13:11. > :13:15.just had a huge white flash in front of my eyes.

:13:16. > :13:17.I thought at the time that we'd had a crash,

:13:18. > :13:20.but obviously it was one of the suicide bombers

:13:21. > :13:23.that decided to hit London that morning.

:13:24. > :13:29.I looked down this hospital bed, but nothing was there.

:13:30. > :13:37.I've lived all my life now with no legs. This is who I am.

:13:38. > :13:40.I don't think I would be here talking to you

:13:41. > :13:44.if it wasn't for rediscovering sport again.

:13:45. > :13:49.Everything that I have today, I owe it to sport.

:13:50. > :13:53.When I had legs, I always used to be the first one up on the dance floor,

:13:54. > :13:57.and to be able to dance again is absolutely amazing.

:13:58. > :14:00.My wife helped me dance for the first time on our wedding day.

:14:01. > :14:04.So my dancing experience is probably three minutes.

:14:05. > :14:06.I've always wanted to know how to dance.

:14:07. > :14:10.because I don't really know what to do.

:14:11. > :14:13.I'm actually really looking forward to my outfit.

:14:14. > :14:15.For someone who has no feet, I'm addicted to shoes.

:14:16. > :14:18.So I'm really intrigued to see what footwear I'm wearing.

:14:19. > :14:25.I'm getting very close to Pasha's feet,

:14:26. > :14:30.It's a good job you've got the moves -

:14:31. > :14:34.you can scoot out the way and it's all right.

:14:35. > :14:37.I texted one of my friends this morning and said my brain's frazzled

:14:38. > :14:44.But that's because I want to get it right.

:14:45. > :14:46.We had a few flyaway legs earlier on. Yeah.

:14:47. > :14:52.Because I would have lost my crown jewels. Sorry, yeah.

:14:53. > :14:58.I can feel the world champion spirit.

:14:59. > :15:01.It's a real arm work-out getting pulled around by you!

:15:02. > :15:05.I'm sorry! I get pulled around by you.

:15:06. > :15:07.It's going well. He's not done a runner,

:15:08. > :15:09.I definitely can't do a runner, so...can't be that bad.

:15:10. > :15:13.I never thought I would actually be able to get up on my legs and dance.

:15:14. > :15:17.It's an amazing feeling, but the pain isn't!

:15:18. > :15:20.I was very sceptical at the start of the week,

:15:21. > :15:26.You never know, my Saturday nights might be different from now on!

:15:27. > :15:33.Please welcome to the Strictly dance floor Hannah and her partner Pasha,

:15:34. > :15:40.David with Karen, Martine with Ian and Nathan with his partner Iveta.

:15:41. > :18:30.Standing ovation in the studio and from our judges - good sign, guys.

:18:31. > :18:34.That was superb, an Olympic effort from all of you, truly.

:18:35. > :18:39.While you get your breath back, let's see what our judges thought.

:18:40. > :18:41.Head Judge Len, what do you make of our sports stars?

:18:42. > :18:44.Well, I tell you what, the music was Firework

:18:45. > :18:47.and I felt there was plenty of fireworks going on out there. Yes

:18:48. > :18:55.But I must just talk a moment about Nathan.

:18:56. > :19:02.Fun, personality - I tell you what, I thought you were terrific.

:19:03. > :19:06.Well done to you. Thank you. Bruno, did they put you in a spin?

:19:07. > :19:09.Oh, I tell you, my head is racing like you have no idea.

:19:10. > :19:16.I have to say, you're all champions to my eyes.

:19:17. > :19:21.But somebody took my eye, and it's you, Hannah!

:19:22. > :19:27.Ooh, she went all touchy-feely with Pasha.

:19:28. > :19:30.Really participating in the performance.

:19:31. > :19:38.Caught Bruno's eye! Lee, it's your debut in the Ballroom tonight

:19:39. > :19:40.as well as theirs - were you impressed?

:19:41. > :19:43.I didn't know what to expect, to be perfectly honest.

:19:44. > :19:46.I didn't know if it was going to be very static

:19:47. > :19:49.or a little bit like Wacky Races gone mad, with the wheelchairs.

:19:50. > :19:53.Nathan might have the muscles, but David managed a spectacular

:19:54. > :19:56.balanced, powerful lift, and that was very good.

:19:57. > :20:05.I think what blows me away is that none of you showed any nerves.

:20:06. > :20:08.But I suppose what stood out for me is Martine.

:20:09. > :20:11.You know, I think you gave a feeling and a passion

:20:12. > :20:16.and all the way through you focused on Ian,

:20:17. > :20:25.It's very difficult to take your eyes off Ian.

:20:26. > :20:28.Formidable team, those two, lots of chemistry.

:20:29. > :20:31.Right, thank you, judges. We'll leave you to confer and deliberate

:20:32. > :20:37.Hannah, you looked like you were genuinely loving

:20:38. > :20:43.every single moment of that. How much fun did you have out there?

:20:44. > :20:45.It's been phenomenal working with all these guys,

:20:46. > :20:48.and Pasha's been amazing with me, so I've loved every second of it.

:20:49. > :20:52.David, as a footballer, was that dance

:20:53. > :20:55.one of the hardest thing you've ever had to tackle?

:20:56. > :21:00.We really need to remember why we've been working so hard all week,

:21:01. > :21:03.and it's for Sport Relief and it's such a privilege to be involved,

:21:04. > :21:12.and to work with this lady has been an absolutely pleasure.

:21:13. > :21:14.Martine, how have you found it, dancing and twirling

:21:15. > :21:18.Oh, it's been absolutely amazing, and the team have been fantastic,

:21:19. > :21:22."swung round the dance floor by a 6'5 dancer"?

:21:23. > :21:25.You haven't put him down yet, Martine! I loved it!

:21:26. > :21:29.She hasn't put you down yet, Ian. Who can blame her.

:21:30. > :21:33.You know, it's been absolutely amazing this week

:21:34. > :21:38.and now I'm going to be the first one on that dance floor. All right!

:21:39. > :21:43.Do you think you did your wife proud?

:21:44. > :21:47.I hope I have, but she's in the audience, ask her yourself!

:21:48. > :21:50.It's a thumbs-up from your wife, your new wife, congratulations!

:21:51. > :21:56.Right. It's time now to see who is going to take home

:21:57. > :22:10.Head Judge Len, have you all chosen your Sport Relief champion?

:22:11. > :22:15.So Len, would you please reveal who you, the judges,

:22:16. > :22:21.have chosen as your Strictly Sport Relief champion 2014!

:22:22. > :22:26.Well, let me say, it was a very, very close-run thing.

:22:27. > :22:30.You could make a case for any one of our four couples winning.

:22:31. > :22:34.But after a long debate, we have come to a decision.

:22:35. > :22:59.I missed a few moves there, so I'm glad they didn't notice!

:23:00. > :23:06.Huge commiserations to the rest of you. Have you had fun?

:23:07. > :23:10.Well, congratulations, Hannah and Pasha!

:23:11. > :23:23.If you'd like to wear these glitterball medals with pride.

:23:24. > :23:30.You are the Sport Relief Strictly Come Dancing champions.

:23:31. > :23:39.and a big thank-you to all of our wonderful couples.

:23:40. > :23:43.Thank you so much for taking part tonight. You have been great sports.

:23:44. > :23:46.And thank you to you at home for watching and donating.

:23:47. > :23:49.Please, please do give everything that you can.

:23:50. > :23:54.Are you ready for this, people? Remember...

:23:55. > :24:18.was Strictly brilliant. Loved every Thank you so much! Goodnight! That

:24:19. > :24:22.was Strictly brilliant. Loved every move. What could be for mitting than

:24:23. > :24:31.the current champion to introduce the next film. Here is Abbey Clancy.

:24:32. > :24:36.50% of the money you donate tonight goes on projects here in the UK. I

:24:37. > :24:40.can't help but think the money couldn't go to any better families

:24:41. > :24:45.than the ones you are about to meet. The Jones' are very lovely and very

:24:46. > :24:52.brave. This is our sister Cara. She's very

:24:53. > :24:56.little. They were over the moon when we told them they've got another

:24:57. > :25:01.sister. We were running up and down the stairs getting ready for her to

:25:02. > :25:06.come home. They were fighting over who'd get to hold her first. They

:25:07. > :25:14.were like, can we see, can we hold her. Doing a video of Cara shouting

:25:15. > :25:20.like mad. When Cara was seven months old, she was diagnosed with spinal

:25:21. > :25:25.muscular atrophy, a disease that affects the spine and muscles. She

:25:26. > :25:31.had the most severe form. The doctor explained that there is no cure and

:25:32. > :25:39.she will not make it to one. That wasn't acceptable to us. As a mum,

:25:40. > :25:45.you want to put plasters on and deal with it and figure out the problems

:25:46. > :25:49.and help solve it. To see your children, their sister, who you've

:25:50. > :25:53.brought into the world, to make your family, is going to die, it was the

:25:54. > :26:04.hardest thing ever. Explaining to them that it wasn't

:26:05. > :26:09.their fault, it wasn't anybody's fault, we all tried our hardest and

:26:10. > :26:15.will make the best life that we've got with her the best time ever.

:26:16. > :26:24.Love you, Cara... Da-da...

:26:25. > :26:34.Against the odds, Cara made it to her first birthday.

:26:35. > :26:40.Cara had a huge dress. She always had a smile, didn't she?

:26:41. > :26:45.Four months later, Cara was rushed to hospital with a serious

:26:46. > :26:52.infection. We knew she wasn't getting any stronger or better. Took

:26:53. > :27:01.her off the hospital bed and sat her in our arms. As she looked up, she

:27:02. > :27:07.smiled and closed her eyes. The smile she gave before she closed her

:27:08. > :27:13.eyes. On the 25th January, 2011, Cara lost her battle. She was 16

:27:14. > :27:20.months old. OK, guys, we are going to go into

:27:21. > :27:25.our room... This is Jeremiah's journey, a bereavement group

:27:26. > :27:29.supported by Sport Relief. They were worried about going back to school,

:27:30. > :27:32.if people were going to say things. They were worried about what to say

:27:33. > :27:36.to us because they didn't want to hurt us. It was really nice. You

:27:37. > :27:39.could talk to whoever you wanted and you knew that they would understand

:27:40. > :27:43.because they've been through the same thing. Each different colour

:27:44. > :27:46.represent who is we are here to remember.

:27:47. > :27:49.Projects like this can make a huge difference at a time of unbearable

:27:50. > :27:57.sadness. Who needs a red piece of card for

:27:58. > :28:03.their sister? I was having really bad nightmares and they gave us a

:28:04. > :28:07.dream catcher and it took all my bad dreams away. They'd come out with a

:28:08. > :28:12.huge smile. I'm so proud to show them off and to be able to talk

:28:13. > :28:16.about Cara. We can't take away the pain, but with your help, we can be

:28:17. > :28:22.there for families when they need it most.

:28:23. > :28:32.Please call: Thank you.

:28:33. > :28:36.That project really made a difference to those brilliant young

:28:37. > :28:40.girls' lives. Tonight, you can make a difference. It costs ?20 for one

:28:41. > :28:47.of those children attend the sessions, to help the children put

:28:48. > :28:50.their lives together again. If you can afford ?20, that's great,

:28:51. > :28:57.but we are grateful for whatever you can give.

:28:58. > :29:04.We don't mind how you donate, we'd just love you to do it. Thank you.

:29:05. > :29:09.Every year, wonderful people up and down the country do all sorts of

:29:10. > :29:13.amazing things for Sport Relief. I, for example, once swam the Thames

:29:14. > :29:18.whilst Gary spent a week sunning himself in Barbados with his wife.

:29:19. > :29:23.It's all right, I saw you there the other week with Simon Cowell. I

:29:24. > :29:29.think you are mistaking me with Sunita. Sorry about that. We both

:29:30. > :29:35.have the same leaf bikini. Anyway, this isn't about us, it's about you.

:29:36. > :29:37.Yes, every Sport Relief, the Great British Sport Relief take part in

:29:38. > :29:41.the most amazing fund-raising events. We are so, so grateful for

:29:42. > :29:44.the effort you put in and the incredible amount of money that you

:29:45. > :29:49.raise. Thank you. Here is a taste of what you've all been up to.

:29:50. > :29:55.For the thousands of incredible fund-raisers, the length and breadth

:29:56. > :29:56.of the UK, from Penzance to Inverness, Cardiff to Scarborough,

:29:57. > :30:07.this thank you is for you. The Sport Relief 2014, you have all

:30:08. > :30:12.excelled yourselves like never before.

:30:13. > :30:15.Some have been getting sporty. Some have been dressing up. And

:30:16. > :30:21.others have just been having a whole lot of fun.

:30:22. > :30:24.Whatever you've been doing, and however you've done it, you've all

:30:25. > :30:30.helped raise such an incredible amount of money for Sport Relief.

:30:31. > :30:38.So from the North to the South, East to West, to each and every fantastic

:30:39. > :30:39.fund-raiser, you're quite simply the best. We couldn't do it without you.

:30:40. > :30:50.Thank you, thank you, thank you. Come here, Great Britain. I want to

:30:51. > :30:56.give you all a kiss. Mwah! In the time it takes David to dish out 65

:30:57. > :31:03.million kisses, let's see what is still to come tonight: Coming up:

:31:04. > :31:08.Beckham is in Peckham. Why are you wearing them glasses? These? To be

:31:09. > :31:19.honest, I thought that if I was to wear these, no-one would recognise

:31:20. > :31:26.me and I could be a little bit incognitive! Clash of the Titans

:31:27. > :31:34.continues with synchronised swimming. It is really difficult.

:31:35. > :31:38.And the rhythmic gymnastics. John doesn't stand a chance. Now it is

:31:39. > :31:46.time to settle this like men! APPLAUSE

:31:47. > :31:51.Now, look, Gary, I don't really know how to say this, but I think things

:31:52. > :31:57.need to change between us. What do you mean? It is just - you have

:31:58. > :32:02.become quite clingy. Clingy? Yes. I think it is about time we introduced

:32:03. > :32:09.a woman into our relationship. What? A woman, Gary. Not just any woman, a

:32:10. > :32:17.super woman. She swam, cycled and ran 500 miles in seven gruelling

:32:18. > :32:21.days. Through gale force winds, through the wettest winter on

:32:22. > :32:30.record, ladies and gentlemen, that woman is, of course, Davina McCall

:32:31. > :32:38.and she went Beyond Breaking Point. Morning, Scotland. I'm so tired and

:32:39. > :32:51.I have only done 30 miles. I have 470 miles to go. If it wasn't

:32:52. > :33:04.raining, or windy, it wouldn't be that bad.

:33:05. > :33:16.Will I be OK? You will be absolutely fine. Come on, Davina!

:33:17. > :33:40.This is really, like, the toughest thing I've ever done and the

:33:41. > :33:44.toughest thing I possibly will ever do.

:33:45. > :33:51.Ladies and gentlemen, please be upstanding for the hero of the hour,

:33:52. > :34:21.it is Davina McCall. A standing ovation. Congratulations.

:34:22. > :34:26.Thank you. It looked so brutal. Have you fully recovered? My knees are a

:34:27. > :34:31.bit iffy. I did try and do three miles this morning for Sport Relief.

:34:32. > :34:40.Why? You have already done your bit! I know. I went with a load of mums

:34:41. > :34:44.from school. It was good. I'm OK. There were moments. It was really

:34:45. > :34:47.hard, but there were moments. I'm sure you will know what I'm talking

:34:48. > :34:54.about where it was amazing, really beautiful. The end! Yes. It was

:34:55. > :34:58.incredible. What was the hardest thing? Lake Windermere was my

:34:59. > :35:04.nemesis. I was so petrified. That was terrifying? I found one of the

:35:05. > :35:08.hardest days was the first day, four hours in I wanted to stop and I

:35:09. > :35:12.thought I have another six-and-a-half days to go. Then,

:35:13. > :35:20.just the wind coming into Birmingham. The wind, yes. LAUGHTER

:35:21. > :35:28.The wind. The really bad wind? You had very bad wind? Not THAT wind!

:35:29. > :35:35.OK. Tell us about Lake Windermere. You had to swim in water that was

:35:36. > :35:40.four degrees. Five degrees. That is easy then(!) How was that? What

:35:41. > :35:45.happened was I got in and straightaway I just started

:35:46. > :35:50.panicking. It was so cold. And I started shallow breathing. Then

:35:51. > :35:55.everything started going wrong. It took me longer than it should have

:35:56. > :35:58.done. Because it took me longer... It's the cold water that hits your

:35:59. > :36:03.face. It is so painful. Even the shock of getting in the water... He

:36:04. > :36:14.is nodding like he knows what it is like! You are next, Lineker! Have

:36:15. > :36:19.you got another question, Gary? Or shall I ask one? It was your turn. I

:36:20. > :36:23.have a million questions. He's ruined tonight! How did it feel when

:36:24. > :36:27.you saw the finish line? You know what was lovely? I watched that bit

:36:28. > :36:32.of footage, when I was going over the bridge and I worked very hard to

:36:33. > :36:35.keep my kids off camera. The guys were amazing. So they squirrelled

:36:36. > :36:39.them away and hid them. I could see them at the end of the bridge so

:36:40. > :36:43.before I saw Matthew, I had a quick cuddle with the kids and I was

:36:44. > :36:48.running towards them so when I'm smiling and putting my hands up, I'm

:36:49. > :36:55.like, "I can see you!" It was amazing. Davina, I can speak on

:36:56. > :36:59.behalf of the nation when I say, congratulations for going beyond

:37:00. > :37:07.breaking point. Thank you. For Sport Relief. Amazing. Thank you.

:37:08. > :37:20.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE I have been - thank you - I have

:37:21. > :37:26.been really lucky. I have been working with Comic Relief and Sport

:37:27. > :37:30.Relief for 15 years now and lives are being changed. They are being

:37:31. > :37:34.changed all around the world and, as you have seen, here at home.

:37:35. > :37:39.Basically, of the amazing donations that you have made, you are amazing.

:37:40. > :37:47.You are about to meet a young girl who totally changed my life but it

:37:48. > :37:53.was you who changed her life. This is a quarry in Nairobi. It's no

:37:54. > :37:56.place for children but every day, children come here to work alongside

:37:57. > :38:01.their mothers. As it is the only way for the families to earn enough

:38:02. > :38:05.money to survive. It was here that I met a little girl called Anne who

:38:06. > :38:21.works here with her Mum. Do you hurt? Your hands? Yes. What things

:38:22. > :38:27.make you happy? The evening. That's because it's the only time that

:38:28. > :38:33.she's not here in the quarry doing this desperate work. Meeting Anne

:38:34. > :38:41.did remind me of a little girl that broke my heart 15 years ago. She was

:38:42. > :38:44.called Eunice. It was 6.30, she was making breakfast and every night she

:38:45. > :38:49.went to sleep fearing that her home was going to get bulldozed. She

:38:50. > :38:57.lived in fear constantly. That night, they came when we are

:38:58. > :39:04.sleeping and started beating us. They demolished our house. When you

:39:05. > :39:08.go to sleep at night here, are you frightened? Are you afraid? Of

:39:09. > :39:12.course, yes. So, Eunice, what would it mean to you to have your own

:39:13. > :39:18.piece of land? I could be very happy. That's exactly what happened.

:39:19. > :39:23.Your money went to work and Eunice and her family moved into a new

:39:24. > :39:28.home, away from the dangers of the slum. In that house, she was able to

:39:29. > :39:33.do her homework and eventually made it to university. You changed her

:39:34. > :39:39.life. I have always remembered Eunice as clear as day. My kids know

:39:40. > :39:47.Eunice. My husband knows Eunice. She's part of us. I'm not leaving

:39:48. > :40:07.this country without seeing her. Hey, Eunice!

:40:08. > :40:21.Oh God! You look exactly the same. You, too. I never thought I would

:40:22. > :40:26.recognise you. LAUGHTER

:40:27. > :40:38.How old are you now? I'm turning 26. Oh my God! That is amazing. I met

:40:39. > :40:44.you 15 years ago. Yes. You need someone to give you this period to

:40:45. > :40:50.show you that there is a better life. That's you. That is where I

:40:51. > :40:57.am. Oh God. Tell me what you are doing? Actually, what you did to me

:40:58. > :41:02.really turned my life. I grew up a girl with high spirit. Knowing one

:41:03. > :41:09.day that life would change and it is not going to remain like this. I

:41:10. > :41:16.decided to do a home, but not just any home, I decided to do one for

:41:17. > :41:25.kids with special needs. You have become such a strong, independent

:41:26. > :41:33.young woman. It is so far away from the little girl that I met. I'm

:41:34. > :41:42.proud because of what you planted in me. That seed has grown and I'm -

:41:43. > :41:48.girls need help. Girls need help for real. Yeah. To empower one another.

:41:49. > :41:54.So at least we can go far. Like you have? Yeah, sure. It's all because

:41:55. > :42:02.of you. No, it's not. It's because of YOU! Eunice's life was

:42:03. > :42:06.transformed because of the money you gave. But there are other girls out

:42:07. > :42:17.there, just like Anne, that desperately need your help. Let's do

:42:18. > :42:24.it again tonight. Please give what you can. 03457 910 910. Thank you.

:42:25. > :42:38.That 11-year-old girl that I met in the slum, you changed her life

:42:39. > :42:43.because you sent her to school. She went to university and because of

:42:44. > :42:48.your generosity, she is changing so many children's lives. She has

:42:49. > :42:53.started on orphanage for kids with special needs. That is an amazing

:42:54. > :42:56.circle. It started with YOU. There are other girls just like Eunice and

:42:57. > :43:03.Anne, so please give whatever you can. 03457 910 910. You are

:43:04. > :43:09.brilliant. Thank you so much. Please do. Please call. That is amazing. A

:43:10. > :43:17.great story. Wonderful. I will say that number again. 03457 910 910.

:43:18. > :43:21.Davina, you did go through a week of hell. I do think it is time we found

:43:22. > :43:26.out how much you and your epic challenge has raised. You have no

:43:27. > :43:32.idea? No idea. Let's see how much you have raised so far. Are you

:43:33. > :43:48.ready? Yes, yes! OK. Davina, you have raised... Oh yes!

:43:49. > :44:11.Well done. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Davina. That is

:44:12. > :44:15.incredible. That total includes ?537,082 from BT who supported

:44:16. > :44:19.Davina's challenge. There is more brilliant news. The Government will

:44:20. > :44:23.match up to ?10 million of your generous donations to help one

:44:24. > :44:27.crucial area of work we support in Africa. The cash will fund projects

:44:28. > :44:31.that train people in the skills required to earn a living that lend

:44:32. > :44:36.people the small amount of cash they need to start their own business and

:44:37. > :44:39.that ensures that farmers get a fairly traded price for their crops.

:44:40. > :44:44.Working your way out of poverty is not rocket science. It's a really

:44:45. > :44:48.effective way of making lasting change. The results will help kids

:44:49. > :44:55.go to school and make sure families have enough to eat and they can get

:44:56. > :44:57.medical help if they need it. Big thanks to the Department for

:44:58. > :45:00.International Development for matching your generosity.

:45:01. > :45:15.So, Davina, let's add that new money to see, for the first time tonight,

:45:16. > :45:20.where we are on the Sport Relief 2014 totaliser. I love this bit!

:45:21. > :45:33.Here we go. Five, four, three, two, one!

:45:34. > :45:54.Amazing. You, guys, you lot, you are amazing! All of you.

:45:55. > :46:03.CHEERING Yes, I'm talking to you, with the

:46:04. > :46:08.things on your head! Give whatever you can. Injure donation takes just

:46:09. > :46:12.seconds. But I'm telling you, it will last a lifetime. Then you can

:46:13. > :46:17.sit back and really enjoy the evening then. Indeed you can. We've

:46:18. > :46:23.got so much more to come, including the first play of England's official

:46:24. > :46:25.World Cup video. Plus, of course, Only Fools and Horses meets David

:46:26. > :46:27.Only Fools and Horses meetsDavid David Beckham. So excited about

:46:28. > :46:32.that. Now it's time for some more sport.

:46:33. > :46:42.Get your goggles at the ready. We're going over to Clare Balding at the

:46:43. > :46:48.Aquatic Centre for a treat. We give you synchronised swimming. Shall we

:46:49. > :46:56.do it together? You ready? This is Clash of the Titans.

:46:57. > :47:02.Thank you and welcome back to the Aquatic Centre and my wonderful

:47:03. > :47:07.crowd here. The Clash of the Titans started in dramatic fashion. At the

:47:08. > :47:13.velodrome we saw the men's elimination in which freny --

:47:14. > :47:24.Freddie Flintoff fell off his bike and then he won. Team Bishop won.

:47:25. > :47:30.They lead team Co, who are on ten points. That will inevitably change.

:47:31. > :47:35.The next event required a different skill all together. The next event

:47:36. > :47:39.in this pool is synchronised swimming. We are going to see two

:47:40. > :47:43.routines, luckily both individuals from the Clash of the Titans teams

:47:44. > :47:49.are going to be helped out by the wonderful women from Aquabatics. The

:47:50. > :47:53.first by Patrick, the second from Greg James. Three judges, who know

:47:54. > :47:56.what they're looking for will give their scores. Those scores will be

:47:57. > :48:00.turned into points and we find out which team wins. This is something I

:48:01. > :48:04.was not allowed to do at the Olympics, go back stage into the

:48:05. > :48:10.changing room. Here we find our competitors. Patrick is looking

:48:11. > :48:16.terrified. I'm sorry? You're looking terrified. Yes, terrified. About

:48:17. > :48:20.finesse, glamour, you have all of that? This is the finesse and

:48:21. > :48:24.glamour. This is the rest. Indeed. Remember to hold your breath. Greg,

:48:25. > :48:28.have you recovered from the cycling? Just about. I can barely walk, but

:48:29. > :48:34.that was a man's event. This is a danty event. I am ready. I'm

:48:35. > :48:37.bringing it home for Coe. These girls are amazing. I've trained so

:48:38. > :48:41.hard for this. Have you? Yes! I really have. Everybody's laughing.

:48:42. > :48:45.That's what training has been like. I've been going, "Right, let's do.

:48:46. > :48:50.It" They've just been laughing at me. We're getting on really well.

:48:51. > :48:54.We're going to give it our best go. The definition of team spirit. I'm

:48:55. > :49:00.heading back out here because this crowd cannot wait to see the

:49:01. > :49:08.competitors. CHEERING

:49:09. > :49:13.You are in for a treat. A huge roar and a huge welcome please for the

:49:14. > :49:19.first of our synchronised swimming competitors. For Team Bishop, it's

:49:20. > :49:27.Patrick Kielty. APPLAUSE

:49:28. > :49:41.Oh, my word! But before the commentary team take over. Let's see

:49:42. > :49:46.how Patrick enjoyed his training. I'm really looking forward to the

:49:47. > :49:51.synchronised swimming. John Bishop has ruin today for everybody. Used

:49:52. > :49:55.to be you could do a sponsored walk and everybody was happy. It's going

:49:56. > :50:01.to be a shambles. Let's do. It I'm ready. Start the car. Start the car.

:50:02. > :50:05.We're going to teach you on land. Apparently this is the most basic

:50:06. > :50:15.routine you can do. Five, six, seven, eight. This isn't good. Good

:50:16. > :50:19.spiky fingers, so we don't look like a teapot. I thought it was going to

:50:20. > :50:27.be like lying on a lilo and all this stuff, it's like, it jazz hands. I

:50:28. > :50:32.don't know! Basically this is like the Titanic. It is not going to get

:50:33. > :50:40.any bet were water. I am a disgrace. I am an embarrassment and I'm still

:50:41. > :50:47.going to beat Greg James. APPLAUSE

:50:48. > :50:49.So we have Patrick Kielty representing Team Bishop. He's

:50:50. > :51:08.taking this very seriously indeed. Nice use of props by the team.

:51:09. > :51:14.They're in the water. Now watch. As the girls get into position, as does

:51:15. > :51:21.Patrick, he chose this music himself. It's Happy by Farell. He

:51:22. > :51:26.thought he would create an upbeat move. What he forgot is it would be

:51:27. > :51:34.fast as well. Good leg work by Patrick. He's selling this routine.

:51:35. > :51:43.He's got to be synchronised. That's what the judges are looking for .

:51:44. > :51:47.Here comes the big lift. He sold that brilliantly. The girls look

:51:48. > :51:53.like they were doing all the work under water. But Patrick needed good

:51:54. > :51:57.core strength, good finish. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:51:58. > :51:59.He got the crowd behind him for everybody moment of that routine.

:52:00. > :52:15.Well done to Patrick. It's fair to say, he has never

:52:16. > :52:21.performed in a costume like that. It may be a costume like that has never

:52:22. > :52:25.been seen in the Aquatic Centre. That was timed really well. All the

:52:26. > :52:32.hard work that goes on under water, as you can see, the girls sculling

:52:33. > :52:35.with their hands. You can't touch the floor when you're doing

:52:36. > :52:40.synchronised swimming. This is the lift. That was good.

:52:41. > :52:44.The judges have been analysing the under water cameras, watching from

:52:45. > :52:54.above, assessing the reaction of the crowd. The scores are in: You have a

:52:55. > :53:02.nine, a nine and a ten for a total of 28 points! Well done.

:53:03. > :53:05.APPLAUSE Ladies and gentleman, we are now

:53:06. > :53:10.ready for our second performance. It comes from a man who likes to think

:53:11. > :53:21.of himself as the apprentice of synchronised swimming. We give you

:53:22. > :53:28.Greg James of TeamCoe. Here is how Greg got on in training

:53:29. > :53:35.with help from a local legend. I'm Greg James, Radio 1 DJ and not a

:53:36. > :53:38.very good water baby. You might go oh, diving board, oh, and then Tom

:53:39. > :53:52.Daley. He's actually here. No pressure. Gonna meet my team. Hi

:53:53. > :53:56.everyone. My worry is make up. Is it water proof? I'm not very

:53:57. > :54:07.coordinated. My limbs are too long and I can't dance we volcano. --

:54:08. > :54:17.Very well. Can you straighten your leg? I want advice. Pointy toes.

:54:18. > :54:24.Impossible. It's really difficult. I am out of my depth. But seeing Tom

:54:25. > :54:28.there on the diving board has inspired me. Tom, I won't let you

:54:29. > :54:37.down. This is the dance of the knights.

:54:38. > :54:44.Greg is channelling Lord sugar. I don't think Lord sugar has ever

:54:45. > :54:51.had a business suit quite like that. The entry into the pool looked neat

:54:52. > :54:57.here. Greg gets into position. Dynamic control, this performance.

:54:58. > :55:01.He told me the hardest thing for him is remembering everything, getting

:55:02. > :55:07.everything in the right order, getting his legs, arms in sync with

:55:08. > :55:17.the girls. That was good synchronisation. Maybe his toes were

:55:18. > :55:22.not very pointy there. The arm sequence there, that was good. He

:55:23. > :55:25.looked in time with the girls. We're building up to the big lift. Watch

:55:26. > :55:30.as they prepare to push him out of the water. Good presentation by

:55:31. > :55:35.Greg! He got up really well there. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:55:36. > :55:46.That was mean, that was moody. Here was the start. Every business suit

:55:47. > :55:50.should have velcro trousers. You need to have extraordinary breath

:55:51. > :55:55.control and stamina to do this sport. They say it's like running

:55:56. > :56:04.the 400 metres while holding your breath and smiling at the same time.

:56:05. > :56:10.Well done. Do you think you made Tom proud? I think so. When we talked

:56:11. > :56:14.about the Olympic legacy I feel like me checking I hadn't fallen out in

:56:15. > :56:20.the water was definitely in Seb Coe's mind. Have you made him proud?

:56:21. > :56:24.I hope so. Lord, I hope I've made you proud. These girls are

:56:25. > :56:29.incredible. Round after plauz for my wonderful dancers.

:56:30. > :56:30.-- Round of applause for my wonderful dancers.

:56:31. > :56:34.APPLAUSE Let's see if you've done enough to

:56:35. > :56:42.overtake Patrick. The judges have scored you with an eight, a ten and

:56:43. > :56:45.a nine. That means ape total of 27 points.

:56:46. > :56:53.BOO I'm sorry, we can see Team Bishop

:56:54. > :57:01.celebrating. Patrick is giving you the big I am.

:57:02. > :57:06.I can tell that Greg looks absolutely gutted with that. That

:57:07. > :57:12.means that Team Bishop score four points for the win.

:57:13. > :57:21.I think it's fair to say that here, didn't we love Greg's routine? We

:57:22. > :57:24.want to say a big well done to you. Thank you very much much.

:57:25. > :57:35.CHEERING Well done guys.

:57:36. > :57:40.Those costumes were wrong on every level. They're quite difficult moves

:57:41. > :57:44.they're trying to execute. I thought they were really good. Yeah. There

:57:45. > :57:51.is a fine line between synchronised swimming and synchronised drowning.

:57:52. > :57:55.Davina, did that bring back memories of that Lake Windermere by any

:57:56. > :58:02.chance? No, no. That was nice, warm, it was pretty, light. Lovely. Very

:58:03. > :58:10.nice. So, after the second event, Team Bishop has 15 points and Team

:58:11. > :58:13.Coe has 12. The competition is really hotting

:58:14. > :58:21.up. It's about to get hotter, because the third event, ridge make

:58:22. > :58:29.gymnastics, what -- rhythmic gymnastics is coming up. You will

:58:30. > :58:34.love it. Lord Coe in a leotard, woof, woof. Calm down. It won't

:58:35. > :58:37.surprise you on Sport Relief we are keen on sport and really hope that

:58:38. > :58:41.you've been inspired by tonight's proceedings. If when the Sport

:58:42. > :58:44.Relief weekend is over you need more inspiration on how to get more

:58:45. > :58:51.involved in loads of different sports, then do check out

:58:52. > :58:57.bbc.co.uk/getinspired, where there's a load of things to do. This is

:58:58. > :59:04.exciting. It's another Sport Relief gem, performing this pop classic for

:59:05. > :59:06.the first time on UK television, in 25 years, this is especially for

:59:07. > :59:25.you, and this is Kylie Minogue. # I wanna let you know

:59:26. > :59:30.what I was going though # I wanna tell you

:59:31. > :59:47.I was feeling that way too # Forget the loneliness

:59:48. > :00:05.and the sorrow # And now we're back

:00:06. > :00:21.together, together # I wanna show you

:00:22. > :00:24.my heart is oh so true # Forget the loneliness

:00:25. > :01:07.and the sorrow # And now we're back

:01:08. > :01:13.together, together # I wanna show you

:01:14. > :01:19.my heart is oh so true # And now we're back

:01:20. > :01:34.together, together # I wanna show you my

:01:35. > :02:20.heart is oh so true Your teeth, look at them. Smile!

:02:21. > :02:24.Amazing. That was a dream come true. It was 30 seconds before I spotted

:02:25. > :02:38.the difference between you. Kylie and Jason! And Jason! You know what,

:02:39. > :02:44.Kylie, they are not worth it. So, listen, that picture as well, that

:02:45. > :02:49.is terrifying! LAUGHTER

:02:50. > :02:54.The teeth. It was amazing. They are YOUR teeth! Kylie will be back to

:02:55. > :02:59.perform later without David Walliams, you will be glad to hear.

:03:00. > :03:08.Now, the amazing Kylie Minogue. Thank you.

:03:09. > :03:17.Now, doing a challenge for Sport Relief changes your life. I know

:03:18. > :03:23.that. And Cheryl Cole does, too. She also knows about the horrendous

:03:24. > :03:31.illness that is malaria. Five years ago, I was part of a team that

:03:32. > :03:35.helped climb Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief. We were all climbing because

:03:36. > :03:40.we wanted to raise money for mosquito nets to help protect people

:03:41. > :03:45.from malaria. Then, the next year, I got malaria myself. It was one of

:03:46. > :03:49.the scariest things I have ever experienced, as you can imagine, but

:03:50. > :03:54.I got the best possible treatment fast. And I know how lucky I was to

:03:55. > :03:56.do that. Many people, particularly young children, aren't so lucky and

:03:57. > :04:08.they desperately need your help. Every morning at this hospital in

:04:09. > :04:13.eastern Uganda, a steady stream of desperate parents join the queue

:04:14. > :04:21.with their severely-ill children. Almost all of these kids have

:04:22. > :04:33.malaria. The problem is I don't have enough beds. Four-year-old Moses has

:04:34. > :04:43.been brought in by his Dad. He has got severe malaria. Sharing the bed

:04:44. > :04:53.with him is Ben, rushed in by his mother. He's unconscious. He's got

:04:54. > :04:58.severe malaria. In the next bed along is a boy who was brought in

:04:59. > :05:03.after having seizures caused by severe malaria. The list of victims

:05:04. > :05:17.of this horrible disease is never-ending. This girl has malaria,

:05:18. > :05:21.John has malaria, Jonah has cerebral malaria, this brother and sister

:05:22. > :05:33.also have malaria. It is like an epidemic. This is just an ordinary

:05:34. > :05:37.day in this hospital. Another child suddenly becomes critical. Another

:05:38. > :05:43.mother is helpless as she watches her daughter suffer the effects of

:05:44. > :05:51.malaria. And outside, the queue doesn't stop growing. Throughout

:05:52. > :05:56.this hospital, too many children are losing the battle against this

:05:57. > :06:10.terrible disease. And the reality is too many of them won't survive. It

:06:11. > :06:19.makes us sad. Malaria is a preventible disease. In Africa, a

:06:20. > :06:26.child dies from malaria every single minute. I'm asking you tonight if

:06:27. > :06:29.you can to help us change this. ?15 buys a mosquito net which could save

:06:30. > :06:40.a child's life. Please call 03457 910 910. Or go online at

:06:41. > :06:47.bbc.co.uk/sportrelief. Thank you. Please do pick up the phone - 03457

:06:48. > :06:52.910 910. It is time for another huge thank you. Sainsbury's has been

:06:53. > :06:55.selling all the official Sport Relief merchandise and fund-raising

:06:56. > :07:02.like never before. Please can I take those for a minute? Thank you. So,

:07:03. > :07:04.Winter Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams headed off to do the

:07:05. > :07:13.honourable thing. Thank you. A polite expression used

:07:14. > :07:19.when acknowledging a gift, a service or a compliment. Simple. That is why

:07:20. > :07:23.I'm here today. And here. And here. To say thank you to the wonderful

:07:24. > :07:29.people who shop and work at Sainsbury's. Thanks. Cheers. Some

:07:30. > :07:33.have done really silly things. Loads of people have been doing something

:07:34. > :07:36.sporty, but wherever they are, they have all been doing their bit.

:07:37. > :07:41.Thousands of people in hundreds of stores have been raising a shed-load

:07:42. > :07:44.of cash. Then there's the special Sport Relief gear that all of you

:07:45. > :07:50.lovely customers have been buying by the trolley-load. Thank you. There's

:07:51. > :07:57.the Sport Relief T-shirt, this lovely headband and an all in one.

:07:58. > :08:04.Woah! Why am I the only one wearing one of these? Come on, chop, chop.

:08:05. > :08:08.All over the UK, the army of fundraisers and customers have been

:08:09. > :08:13.getting active in their thousands and helping add to the incredible

:08:14. > :08:19.amount of money raised. Much better! You have been snapping up

:08:20. > :08:25.deelyboppers, sports bags and pin badges - and soft balls! Sorry,

:08:26. > :08:29.guys. All in all, to everyone who shops and works in Sainsbury's, you

:08:30. > :08:30.have been truly amazing. There is only one thing left to say - thank

:08:31. > :08:45.you! So, let us have a look at how much

:08:46. > :08:55.the fantastic Sainsbury's team and their customers have raised. It is:

:08:56. > :09:05.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE That is an incredible amount of

:09:06. > :09:10.money! I want to say massive pats on the backs and huge round of applause

:09:11. > :09:16.to all of you who purchased merchandise and to Sainsbury's.

:09:17. > :09:21.Thank you so much. Thank you. Now, this summer, all eyes will be on

:09:22. > :09:28.South America as Brazil goes nut for the FIFA World Cup. I can't wait. I

:09:29. > :09:32.love croquet! Nowhere is the excitement more palpable than in the

:09:33. > :09:37.Match of the Day studio. Take a look at this. Another exciting Saturday

:09:38. > :09:41.in the Premier League. The title race is hotting up. It is proving to

:09:42. > :09:47.be the perfect appetiser to this year's main course, England at the

:09:48. > :09:57.World Cup. Good night. We are off air, thanks, guys. Here we go again.

:09:58. > :10:02.England haven't won anything yet and they never will. It will be tough.

:10:03. > :10:07.At least we have qualified, unlike Scotland. And Wales! And Republic of

:10:08. > :10:12.Ireland. That may be true, but the only thing coming back with England

:10:13. > :10:16.this year is an all-over tan! I remember 2010, England were almost

:10:17. > :10:21.home. He was still putting his World Cup wall chart up. It will be

:10:22. > :10:25.different this time. In what way? I have had an idea. I will put

:10:26. > :10:29.together a World Cup song, a song that will inspire the nation, a song

:10:30. > :10:35.to bring people together, a song the fans can sing on the terraces and

:10:36. > :10:41.help ensure that England DO win the 2014 FIFA World Cup! LAUGHTER What a

:10:42. > :10:46.joke that is! Make it to the quarterfinals then! Get out the

:10:47. > :10:51.group stage? No. I will bring together some legendary footballers,

:10:52. > :10:55.musicians and entertainers. It will be like Band Aid! We will use the

:10:56. > :10:59.same recording studio. That is a good idea. We will do it for Sport

:11:00. > :11:02.Relief, because if it is rubbish, we can play the charity card. You know

:11:03. > :11:08.nothing about making records. I know a Gary that does! The legend that is

:11:09. > :11:14.Gary Barlow. What, you know Gary Barlow? Yes. You don't. Course I do.

:11:15. > :11:17.All us showbusiness Garies know each other. Prove it. I will call him,

:11:18. > :11:32.right now. Under B. PHONE RINGS Hello? It is Gary. Hey,

:11:33. > :11:39.Gary. So, Gary, what you been up to? Chilling out, laying down some

:11:40. > :11:44.tracks. That's cool. Sounds dench! You what? What you talking about?

:11:45. > :11:49.Nothing! I'm putting together an England World Cup song for Sport

:11:50. > :11:53.Relief. I need your musical know-how? I would do anything for

:11:54. > :11:58.Sport Relief. You have to do something in return. You want World

:11:59. > :12:08.Cup tickets? No problem. Can you get me Alan Hansen's autograph? LAUGHTER

:12:09. > :12:10.I suppose so. Brilliant. I'm in. This could be Sport Relief's

:12:11. > :12:35.Greatest Day! # Tonight this could be

:12:36. > :13:12.the greatest night of our lives # Can you see it, can you see it

:13:13. > :13:28.in my eyes? # Can you hold it

:13:29. > :13:39.in your arms tonight? # Yeah, the world starts to come

:13:40. > :14:30.alive when you stay close to me # Today this could be

:14:31. > :14:49.the greatest day of our lives # Stay close to me

:14:50. > :15:16.And the world comes alive # Stay close to me

:15:17. > :15:23.Hold on # Stay close to me

:15:24. > :15:34.and the world comes alive # Today this could be

:15:35. > :16:26.the greatest day of our lives That was great. If England don't win

:16:27. > :16:33.the World Series, after that, they never will. The World Cup. Yeah that

:16:34. > :16:40.too, the double. That was brilliant. Let's hear it for the legendary Gary

:16:41. > :16:46.Barlow. And the newest and most tone deaf member of Take That.

:16:47. > :16:50.APPLAUSE Thank you very much, David. Too

:16:51. > :16:54.kind. The real stars are our footballers and our musicians and we

:16:55. > :16:58.must thank the Football Association for their support.

:16:59. > :17:02.Brilliant. I thought that was really good.

:17:03. > :17:07.Here is the wonderful Sue Johnson. I'd like you to meet a wonderful man

:17:08. > :17:13.called Bob. He's 92 years old. He's led a full and happy life. And I

:17:14. > :17:17.think what makes Bob's story so very touching is that unlike some of the

:17:18. > :17:20.films we show you on nights like tonight, what's happened to Bob is

:17:21. > :17:30.something that could happen to each and every one of us.

:17:31. > :17:41.You're going back to 1937, I met my Cath. She was lovely. One of the

:17:42. > :17:47.guys said to me, "Hey, she fancies you." I said, "Well, I certainly

:17:48. > :17:53.fancy her." Unfortunately, in 1939, the war separated us. But whilst I

:17:54. > :18:02.was over there, I thought, I need to write to her and ask her to marry

:18:03. > :18:07.me. Family life in those days was a happy life. I can remember one

:18:08. > :18:15.occasion, we were in bed, cuddling as one does, and she said, "Oh,

:18:16. > :18:17.aren't your legs hairy." I said, "Well no, I've still got my socks

:18:18. > :18:31.on! " One evening, she turned around and

:18:32. > :18:41.she looked at me and said, "Where's Bob? And I'm Bob and the bottom

:18:42. > :18:47.dropped out of my world then. The doctor said she's in the early days

:18:48. > :18:51.of Alzheimer's disease. As she got worse, it became more difficult to

:18:52. > :19:03.nurse her. She stayed here until the end. Eventually, she passed away at

:19:04. > :19:29.1am, by my side. I couldn't believe it. She's gone.

:19:30. > :19:40.It was impossible to say goodbye or I love you, any more. Bob's wife

:19:41. > :19:47.Cath died three years ago. He's now 92 years old and lives on his own.

:19:48. > :19:53.Last year, Sport Relief helped set up the Silverline, a free 24 hour

:19:54. > :20:01.help line that gives older people a friendly voice to talk to, whenever

:20:02. > :20:05.they need it. Silverline is not only a Silverline, but a lifeline. When I

:20:06. > :20:08.wake in the middle of the night, you can't ring the family, but you can

:20:09. > :20:19.pick up the phone and talk to somebody. For 65 years, we was

:20:20. > :20:24.together all the time. And you realise that there is nobody you can

:20:25. > :20:29.say to, "About a cup of tea? Have you got some of that cake left over

:20:30. > :20:34.from yesterday? There is no way to do it. You get up and make your own

:20:35. > :20:41.cup of tea. That's when you realise that you are alone. Loneliness is

:20:42. > :20:48.heart breaking, so tonight, please, give what you can to help wonderful

:20:49. > :20:56.older people like Bob. Call 03457 910 910. Thank you.

:20:57. > :21:04.If you are watching that film and you thought, oh, do you know what, I

:21:05. > :21:13.must call my mum, my dad, granny or granddad, then please do that, but

:21:14. > :21:17.could be call us too, please? 03457 910 910. And make a donation, so we

:21:18. > :21:23.can try and make sure there's always somebody at the end of a phone for

:21:24. > :21:28.everyone. Loneliness is terrible. It's a terrible thing. Let's do what

:21:29. > :21:37.we can to help. I'm going to say it again: 03457 910 910. Thank you.

:21:38. > :21:42.Coming up, the superstar pairing of Jack Whitehall and Claudia Winkleman

:21:43. > :21:43.w, a plethora of Sport Relief goodies. You will not want to miss

:21:44. > :21:55.this: Yes, an hillarious celebrity

:21:56. > :22:02.Mastermind starring Premier League footballers. I'm in it too! And

:22:03. > :22:06.talking of unmissable, David Beckham stars in a very special Only Fools

:22:07. > :22:09.and Horses. It is just 20 minutes away, people!

:22:10. > :22:15.CHEERING Very exciting. Now it's time to

:22:16. > :22:21.reveal the lineup for the next must-see event, rhythmic gymnastics.

:22:22. > :22:27.In the blue conner, team cab tin Seb Coe, Ole myrrhs and Sally Philips.

:22:28. > :22:34.In the red corner, captain, John Bishop, Helen Skelton and Nick

:22:35. > :22:41.Grimshaw. Sport Relief, this is Clash of the Titans! Welcome back.

:22:42. > :22:50.Next up you're going to see something nifty with one of these.

:22:51. > :22:52.Let's look at the leaderboard, as it stands. It is Team Bishop who are

:22:53. > :23:04.narrowly in the lead. Team Coe trailing at the moment. It

:23:05. > :23:09.could all change. Income tax up, a sport -- next up, a sport which

:23:10. > :23:13.sorts the men from the boys, rhythmic gymnastics and there's

:23:14. > :23:18.fighting talk from the captains. Tonight, it's all about one evening,

:23:19. > :23:22.and two men can stand face to face. Yeah I've heard John Bishop is

:23:23. > :23:27.pretty competitive. For me sport has always been about taking part and

:23:28. > :23:30.the medals, the big gold, shiny medals. I think it's brilliant that

:23:31. > :23:33.he has a couple of gold medals. Let's bear in mind it was Moscow,

:23:34. > :23:38.where probably I could have won a race. Funny, but what's he ever won?

:23:39. > :23:46.Now it's time to settle this, like men. ?

:23:47. > :23:51.At the end of the day, we'll go back to where we're from. John doesn't

:23:52. > :24:05.stand a chance, but don't tell him Training looks like it's been going.

:24:06. > :24:09.It's tough, isn't it? This is the halfway stage, you're doing all

:24:10. > :24:13.right. You're doing OK. You have your nose in front. Yeah the team's

:24:14. > :24:15.got their nose in front. Everyone will know I'm personally

:24:16. > :24:20.disappointed with my own performance. I feel I can contribute

:24:21. > :24:25.more. We've had e-mails from the kids in Africa saying that was

:24:26. > :24:29.appalling, the cycling. This was the event for me to get my pride back.

:24:30. > :24:34.It's the sport I think of when I think of you. You have a bit of work

:24:35. > :24:40.to do. Yeah, we have actually. We've got to get into this now. This is

:24:41. > :24:44.the moment. Cometh the moment, cometh the team. You have to get in

:24:45. > :24:47.the zone and reveal what's under the tracksuit. The nation awaits. That's

:24:48. > :24:53.not the first time you've said that to me! Off you go. You're the man

:24:54. > :24:59.who brought the Olympics to London. You were an MP. You're a man that

:25:00. > :25:03.the country admires and respects. CHEERING

:25:04. > :25:11.You're about to do rhythmic gymnast nicks lycra. It's a really tough

:25:12. > :25:15.sport. I'm not telling you that, you know. It's complicated. All for a

:25:16. > :25:23.very good cause. Jo and the number is: 03457 910 910. Dig deep.

:25:24. > :25:29.Absolutely do what the man says. Let's join our commentary team now.

:25:30. > :25:35.We're on the edge of our seats here, Chris. We are. Down there are three

:25:36. > :25:40.very experienced rhythmic gymnastics judges to assess the performances.

:25:41. > :25:45.They will judge each team out of ten. The winning team will get the

:25:46. > :25:48.maximum points. Such a good rehearsal. Let's hope they can

:25:49. > :25:57.reproduce it here. It's time for the first performance.

:25:58. > :26:02.They look repleb dent. Make -- resplenden. Make some noise for Team

:26:03. > :26:08.Bishop. They stride onto the mat, full of

:26:09. > :26:22.confidence. It's Team Bishop, what an opener.

:26:23. > :26:24.Oh, yes! Football skills to the fore here.

:26:25. > :26:39.There's the mover of the trio. Death throw and death catch. Good

:26:40. > :26:46.work. Helen a bit unsure with the ball

:26:47. > :26:55.there, but she's away now. The action woman really being tested

:26:56. > :27:00.here. Nice little pivot. Well done, Helen.

:27:01. > :27:06.Here he comes. He's snaking his way through.

:27:07. > :27:20.Using that rhythm. Preparing for the big throw.

:27:21. > :27:25.Well, a little snag. And the big finale, and she's missed it. What a

:27:26. > :27:29.pity for Helen. Smile through adversity. Well, that was a little

:27:30. > :27:36.bit of a disappointment. The aim is to finish with the apparatus but

:27:37. > :27:43.what a great expressive, fun performance that was. Nick Grimshaw

:27:44. > :27:49.took to that sport. Well, Snakes with the ribbon, then the throw.

:27:50. > :27:55.What do you think? Well, full of confidence and that throw was well

:27:56. > :28:00.caught. The ball is probably one of the more difficult apparatus. Nice

:28:01. > :28:04.cart wheel there. Here the man himself, John Bishop, snaking his

:28:05. > :28:08.way through with the ribbon. Look at the focus on his face!

:28:09. > :28:12.Look at the tight buttocks when you did that turn there! The body

:28:13. > :28:16.position was almost perfect. I know, this is the thing that I really care

:28:17. > :28:21.about most. Cycling is one thing, this is really what matters to me.

:28:22. > :28:25.Me and the ribbon. We felt like one. I mean, to be fair, Nick was

:28:26. > :28:31.wonderful. I couldn't almost perform because I was in tears watching you

:28:32. > :28:39.two. Natural. You brought such masculinity to it. I think we're the

:28:40. > :28:46.most masculine of sport. I say forget gymnastics, grimnastics.

:28:47. > :28:49.Shame about the not finishing with the ball. No, that was intentional.

:28:50. > :28:57.Modern twist. Throw the ball away. Throw your money away. Make a

:28:58. > :29:00.donation. . Let's see p if that -- let's see if that made any

:29:01. > :29:11.difference to the scores. They are in: Are you happy with that? Look,

:29:12. > :29:15.we don't know what the other team have got in their locker. All I can

:29:16. > :29:19.say is I'm proud of our performance. If the judges aren't up with the

:29:20. > :29:23.modern gymnastics, that's not my fault. You've set the benchmark very

:29:24. > :29:32.high. Let's see what the others have got to offer. It's Team Coe.

:29:33. > :29:35.Look at the focus. Look at the focus on Seb Coe. Now you see the smile.

:29:36. > :29:43.He's focussing on this. This is important for Seb. And his team.

:29:44. > :29:48.They can see a little opportunity here.

:29:49. > :30:02.There we are, we're away. Ribbon and hoop in unison. Oh, nice

:30:03. > :30:07.little turn right at the start from Olly Murs. Look at him move! Rs He's

:30:08. > :30:17.loving it. High up on his feet.

:30:18. > :30:27.Pivots, and a cartwheel to boot! Sally Philips there. Looking good.

:30:28. > :30:39.Lively, vital performance here. Just what Team Coe needed. She kicks the

:30:40. > :30:46.hoop away, but she doesn't care. Now Seb Coe with the focus. Stand by for

:30:47. > :30:52.something special, look at that! And a flourish.

:30:53. > :30:56.Snaking and spiralling to a good score, he hopes.

:30:57. > :31:04.Team Coe! That was impressive. Very impressive performance. They

:31:05. > :31:08.packed it in there. Seb Coe showing, his sister's a ballerina, showing

:31:09. > :31:17.early training there. Just as graceful as he was on the

:31:18. > :31:22.track. Olly Murs, a great favourite with the crowd. Plenty of rhythm,

:31:23. > :31:26.plenty of moves. Sally had a bit of a bump. She enjoyed this bit.

:31:27. > :31:33.Selling the routine. It is all about performance. Here comes Seb Coe.

:31:34. > :31:39.That is the trademark jump. Very steely. Lots of confidence. Who new

:31:40. > :31:45.that middle distance running would be such great preparation for this

:31:46. > :31:51.sport? I was once described as the Nuryev of the track! Shall we see if

:31:52. > :31:53.it managed to get you scores which beat Team Bishop? Let's have a look.

:31:54. > :32:12.The judges have made their decision. Wow! Three nines. 27. That is an

:32:13. > :32:19.incredible result. Let's see what the commentators have to say. They

:32:20. > :32:26.will sum it up. That was fabulous. Here we have Team Coe taking the

:32:27. > :32:31.four points ahead of Team Bishop. Another event wrapped up here. Join

:32:32. > :32:39.us later. It is the Women's Time Trial. We have two Olympians, one

:32:40. > :32:49.super-fit television presenter - some new Lycra - and Sally Phillips

:32:50. > :32:54.as well! An amazing spectacle. I will never watch rhythmic gymnastics

:32:55. > :32:58.in the same way again. That leaves the leaderboard looking like this:

:32:59. > :33:09.I thank you. Team Bishop 17 - Team Coe 16.

:33:10. > :33:15.CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Coming up, the ladies get on their bike for the

:33:16. > :33:20.Women's Time Trial. You don't want to miss that.

:33:21. > :33:24.Next a film from Nepal and it might upset you. We wouldn't show you

:33:25. > :33:29.these things if we didn't know that together, we can change them. Here's

:33:30. > :33:34.Emma Willis. In our world today, 850 million

:33:35. > :33:37.people don't have enough to eat. You might be surprised to hear that more

:33:38. > :33:42.than half of that number live in Asia. Malnutrition is one of the

:33:43. > :33:45.biggest killers of children throughout the developing world.

:33:46. > :33:50.What you are about to see may be difficult to look at, but it is

:33:51. > :33:55.important that you understand that this is real and it's happening now.

:33:56. > :34:05.A lack of proper nutrition can cause children's bodies to waste away.

:34:06. > :34:11.They become vulnerable to disease and, in extreme circumstances, it

:34:12. > :34:15.can be fatal. These images are taken from a Sport Relief-funded

:34:16. > :34:22.malnutrition centre in Kathmandu, Nepal. Children from desperately

:34:23. > :34:29.poor families are referred here for specialised care. As long as they

:34:30. > :34:35.can get here, the centre has everything to help children who are

:34:36. > :34:40.suffering with malnutrition. Extreme poverty in rural areas means that

:34:41. > :34:46.many parents simply cannot afford to get to the centre. If help does

:34:47. > :34:55.come, often the situation is already critical. A mum and her baby girl

:34:56. > :34:59.have been found by a rural care worker. They are from a desperately

:35:00. > :35:11.poor village with no access to healthcare. At six-weeks-old, she

:35:12. > :35:19.weighs 4lb. Her Mum is unable to produce milk so the staff try to

:35:20. > :35:23.feed her. Your support is vital, not only to keep this malnutrition

:35:24. > :35:27.centre running, but to help educate people to bring their children here

:35:28. > :35:31.sooner rather than later. Here is the good bit. As long as children

:35:32. > :35:48.can reach this place in time, the staff here can work miracles.

:35:49. > :36:04.These children were the fortunate ones. For this girl, it was too late

:36:05. > :36:05.and she lost her battle with malnutrition. It didn't need to be

:36:06. > :36:21.this way. 03457 910 910. Thank you. I'm sorry, I know it's unbearable.

:36:22. > :36:26.Have you got a bonny baby sleeping upstairs? That is happening and, as

:36:27. > :36:34.you have seen, we are helping but we need to do more. For ?30, we can

:36:35. > :36:40.feed five severely-malnourished babies for a whole month. You can

:36:41. > :36:46.donate online - bbc.co.uk/sportrelief - or you can

:36:47. > :36:50.call us on 03457 910 910. Do call and remember standard geographic

:36:51. > :36:55.charges from landlines and mobiles will apply. Now, it is time we said

:36:56. > :37:00.a thank you to British Airways and to do the thanking for us is good

:37:01. > :37:05.friend and British swimming legend, Sharron Davies.

:37:06. > :37:09.SpoR BA staff and customers raised more money than ever. This is Sue

:37:10. > :37:13.and her friends and they walked from Brighton to Big Ben and raised more

:37:14. > :37:16.than ?18,000. These are some of the hundreds of wonderful cabin crew

:37:17. > :37:22.that have been collecting all your spare change that you have been

:37:23. > :37:27.giving. Thank you. This lot got dressed up as Bear Grylls. When they

:37:28. > :37:32.came down from the mountain, they have raised over ?12,000. This

:37:33. > :37:36.bunch, they are the muscles. A huge team of them decided to pull an

:37:37. > :37:45.airplane down the Gatwick runway. By the time they had finished, they

:37:46. > :37:50.made over ?2,000. Strong! Paula and these ladies raised over ?2,500.

:37:51. > :37:54.Well done, ladies. That's not all. The super staff from Gatwick to

:37:55. > :37:58.Edinburgh have been getting sporty and raising an incredible amount of

:37:59. > :38:02.money for Sport Relief. You are all amazing. So to all the wonderful

:38:03. > :38:06.staff and fantastic customers, thank you very much.

:38:07. > :38:21.Excellent stuff. You could say a real runway success! Let's see how

:38:22. > :38:35.much BA have raised for Sport Relief. It is:

:38:36. > :38:48.That's fabulous. Thank you very much. Time to make TV history. Yes,

:38:49. > :38:53.it's the moment we've all been waiting for. The return of Britain's

:38:54. > :39:01.best-loved sitcom. Come on, hurry up and get in! It is like Top Gear!

:39:02. > :39:11.Hello. Here it is, starring the second best-looking David in

:39:12. > :39:17.showbusiness, it is Only Fools and Horses. This is what happened when

:39:18. > :39:32.Beckham came to Peckham. Stick the radio on!

:39:33. > :39:34.All right, come on, then! Gather round, everybody!

:39:35. > :39:36.Gather round here! Come along, I am not contagious.

:39:37. > :39:39.Listen, I've got a very special offe for you today.

:39:40. > :39:41.This is a once-in-a-lifetime, never-to-be-repeated offer

:39:42. > :39:53.Now, listen, before you rush in and tear me limb from limb,

:39:54. > :39:56.and just to give you a better idea of what we're talking about,

:39:57. > :40:15.Brings a tear to your eye, doesn't it, eh?

:40:16. > :40:19.These are 100% man-made cotton and they're fully elasticated.

:40:20. > :40:22.And as you can see, they've got a very handy button-up fly

:40:23. > :40:30.Right. But just to show you what makes these very special,

:40:31. > :40:49.Yes, each one of these has been personally signed

:40:50. > :40:53.by none other than Goldenballs himself.

:40:54. > :41:00.Because it just so happens that Beck is a personal friend of mine.

:41:01. > :41:10.No, you see, he owed me a favour because it was me what arranged

:41:11. > :41:16.the bouncy castle for his son Brookside's 12th birthday party.

:41:17. > :41:20.You see... No, this is absolutely true, straight up!

:41:21. > :41:23.Now come on, this is a special offer you won't see this again.

:41:24. > :41:28.They normally retail at ?10 but I'm knocking them out for you, ?4.50.

:41:29. > :41:32.Tell you what - two for ?9. Two for ?9.

:41:33. > :41:43.get down the caff, have a bacon sarnie, eh?

:41:44. > :41:48.You better take those off, you look like a right dipstick.

:41:49. > :42:05.MUSIC: "Waterloo Sunset" by the Kinks

:42:06. > :42:08.That is the last time, Del. And I mean it this time.

:42:09. > :42:13.That is the last time I let you talk me into degrading myself

:42:14. > :42:16.all for the sake of one of your little schemes.

:42:17. > :42:22.We've all got to make little sacrifices here and there.

:42:23. > :42:25.All right, then. If we've all got to make sacrifices,

:42:26. > :42:27.next time you can wear them. Don't be stupid!

:42:28. > :42:32.And did you at any moment think about MY reputation?

:42:33. > :42:39.You know, I honestly thought you'd changed.

:42:40. > :42:41.But no, you're just the same old Del,

:42:42. > :42:43.ploughing through life without the slightest consideration

:42:44. > :42:55.when I have ignored you or hurt your feelings.

:42:56. > :42:59.And don't go on about that painting competition.

:43:00. > :43:05.Or the time I turned the knob up on the sunbed

:43:06. > :43:09.All right, then. What about when I was 11,

:43:10. > :43:13.and you and your mates was bored so you asked me to play hide and seek

:43:14. > :43:16.and I hid in that big chest thing you'd bought.

:43:17. > :43:18.Oh, yeah! That was a good place to hide.

:43:19. > :43:20.Nobody thought of looking in there, did they?

:43:21. > :43:23.No. And you all sodded off down the pub in the end, didn't you?

:43:24. > :43:27.Yeah, well, we got fed up looking for you, didn't we?

:43:28. > :43:29.Four and a half hours, I was in that thing.

:43:30. > :43:31.Well...you took the game too seriously.

:43:32. > :43:35.No-one thought to tell me, though, did they?

:43:36. > :43:39.No, because we didn't know where you was hiding!

:43:40. > :43:41.There was a dodgy lock on that thing.

:43:42. > :43:43.Well, how was I supposed to know that?!

:43:44. > :44:00.Because then you would have known where I was hiding!

:44:01. > :44:03.I'm sorry that you got locked in that chest.

:44:04. > :44:06.But we've got more important matters to focus on, eh?

:44:07. > :44:10.Like the fact that we are currently lumbered with 200 pairs

:44:11. > :44:20.of men's pants that some git has scribbled over.

:44:21. > :44:27.And if I asked you to go out into the high street wearing a sarong,

:44:28. > :44:34.It's all right, David, he's not blaming you. Are you, Del.

:44:35. > :44:39.I just don't know what the world is coming to. Really, I don't.

:44:40. > :44:45."Ex" being the operative word there. And I've got you, with two GCEs,

:44:46. > :44:50.and a footballing legend who makes Boycie look like a pauper,

:44:51. > :44:53.and we can't flog a pair of pants between us!

:44:54. > :45:06.I'm just glad that we're not in that Dragons' Den,

:45:07. > :45:10.because God knows what Alec Sugar would have made of all this.

:45:11. > :45:13.It was your idea to have Rodney model them.

:45:14. > :45:17.Look, I didn't want to wear the stupid bloody things

:45:18. > :45:26.You know, he's got a point there, Rodney.

:45:27. > :45:28.You could have shown a bit more enthusiasm.

:45:29. > :45:31.It's always been your problem, that has.

:45:32. > :45:40.I am a middle-aged fly-pitcher who drives a three-wheel van,

:45:41. > :45:47.and above all else, I do not look like that.

:45:48. > :45:49.It's just any old excuse with you, though, isn't it, eh?

:45:50. > :45:53.Anyway, I only suggested you do it because he wouldn't.

:45:54. > :45:57.But Del, I can't go walking around in public

:45:58. > :46:05.The last time I did that, Fergie almost killed me.

:46:06. > :46:08.Anyway, why are you wearing them glasses? These? Yeah.

:46:09. > :46:10.To be honest, I thought that, you know,

:46:11. > :46:13.if I was to wear these, no-one would recognise me,

:46:14. > :46:17.and I could be a little bit, you know...incognitive.

:46:18. > :46:25.Rodders, have you really got two GCEs?

:46:26. > :46:28.Yeah. I've got one in maths and one in art.

:46:29. > :46:37.Er, I'd probably have to say Matisse,

:46:38. > :46:40.because I don't think anyone could get near the way he could

:46:41. > :46:42.convey intensity through the use of pure colour, you know?

:46:43. > :46:46.I mean, Matisse did for colour what Picasso did for form.

:46:47. > :47:10.we're going to have to accept that we are in a classic case

:47:11. > :47:15.of bouchee a la Rene, as they say in the Alsack.

:47:16. > :47:20.Why don't you get Damien to model them? He's young.

:47:21. > :47:22.Rodney, do you really expect me to ask my son

:47:23. > :47:27.to go and stand in the market out there looking like a slab of mea

:47:28. > :47:30.while people gawp at him? I mean, that kind of humiliation

:47:31. > :47:34.could scar him for the rest of his life.

:47:35. > :47:39.You're already scarred, so one more wouldn't hurt, you see.

:47:40. > :47:42.What about Trigger? Hmm? Oh, leave it out.

:47:43. > :47:44.Asking Trigger for help's like asking Ozzy Osbourne

:47:45. > :47:52.I'm sorry, Rodney, but you are stuck with the pants.

:47:53. > :47:59.most people think modelling is all about standing there looking great.

:48:00. > :48:05.Actually, it is, but there's more to it than that.

:48:06. > :48:13.Just remember - a good model doesn't just walk...

:48:14. > :48:33.Right, come on, gather round, everybody!

:48:34. > :48:53.Derek... Hmm? I am going to kill you.

:48:54. > :49:04.I don't want to draw any attention to myself, all right?

:49:05. > :49:29.# And miles and miles of carpet tiles... #

:49:30. > :49:31.All right, come on, let's clear out of here.

:49:32. > :49:34.# ..Ball games, gold chains Whatsernames and then I'll push

:49:35. > :49:37.# Trevor Francis tracksuits From a mush in Shepherd's Bush

:49:38. > :49:57.Wonderful stuff. There will be a chance to see how we made that

:49:58. > :50:02.sketch on BBC Two shortly. Don't miss it. The next film is a tough

:50:03. > :50:06.one, I promise you, we don't show tough films just to upset you. We

:50:07. > :50:11.show them to you because there are some things we simply have to

:50:12. > :50:15.change. To do that we need your help. Here's David Tennant.

:50:16. > :50:20.This is the only children's hospital in the whole of Sierra Leone. I've

:50:21. > :50:25.come here to meet Margaret, who works for a project funded by Sport

:50:26. > :50:31.Relief. This is the emergency room? This is

:50:32. > :50:39.the emergency room. This is where we have patients coming in, who are

:50:40. > :50:45.very sick. Yeah. He was admitted on Monday with severe malaria and

:50:46. > :50:49.anaemia. That was two days ago. He's on oxygen? He is. Buff we are very

:50:50. > :51:01.short of oxygen. That mean the children have to share? Yes, we do.

:51:02. > :51:11.Who's this here? Hello? Hi. Have they had a diagnosis yet? It's

:51:12. > :51:18.pneumonia. Right. Who have we got here? Oh, hi. What's wrong? He was

:51:19. > :51:34.admitted yesterday with severe Newham Mona. Do you -- New

:51:35. > :51:39.Pneumonia? A little boy is brought in by his grandma. He's showing all

:51:40. > :51:47.the signs of pneumonia. The nursing staff are immediately concerned.

:51:48. > :51:54.He's been brought in with a complaint of press irtridisease. --

:51:55. > :52:01.Respiratory disease. He's struggling breathe. He needs oxygen urgently.

:52:02. > :52:06.As the hospital staff try to stabilise him, his grandma can only

:52:07. > :52:12.look on. Since his mum died in child birth, she's spent every day by his

:52:13. > :52:20.side. Suddenly, there's a problem with the oxygen machine. The main

:52:21. > :52:26.problem is the oxygen is not enough. There are four, fi connections. This

:52:27. > :52:30.child is not getting anything now. The child need oxygen. We have to

:52:31. > :52:38.move the child to ICU. Intensive care is full. There's no choice but

:52:39. > :52:44.to stay in this ward and continue sharing oxygen. It's a desperate

:52:45. > :52:51.time for his grandma. Just one week ago, she was in this same ward with

:52:52. > :52:56.his twin brother. He sadly passed away. It's hard. Because you're a

:52:57. > :53:00.parent, you're a grandparent yourself. And something like this,

:53:01. > :53:07.you know, it just, it's too upsetting. Too upsetting. His

:53:08. > :53:11.fighting spirit has touched the hearts of the nurses here. But now

:53:12. > :53:15.they're becoming increasingly concerned. Whenever I see them

:53:16. > :53:24.suffering, from a disease that can be prevented, it pains me. It hurts

:53:25. > :53:28.me. I know if early on, it could have been prevented. I'm praying he

:53:29. > :53:34.will recover. But the condition is not good.

:53:35. > :53:41.I just spray that nothing happens to him. There's this connection between

:53:42. > :53:48.me and him and it's really, as soon as I go near him, he knows that I'm

:53:49. > :53:59.there. I just hope that he gets better. I'm sorry to tell you this

:54:00. > :54:05.but he did not make it. That's tragic. But what makes it

:54:06. > :54:08.worse, is that it's not a one-off. Between the time that I'm standing

:54:09. > :54:11.here and the time that you end up watching this, it's likely that

:54:12. > :54:18.hundreds of children will have lost their lives from conditions that can

:54:19. > :54:26.be totally prevented. This can't be a normal thing. Children dying,

:54:27. > :54:31.can't be normal. Their lives are not disposable. So, please, if you've

:54:32. > :54:37.ever even considered giving on a night like this, please, do it now.

:55:18. > :55:44.# Where are the years I had with you?

:55:45. > :56:29.# You never said too much but still you showed the way

:56:30. > :57:58.# And they don't hear the words you long to say

:57:59. > :58:57.Thank you so much Boyzone. It's almost time for us three to say

:58:58. > :59:02.goodbye. We can't leave without seeing how much has been raised so
