:00:22. > :00:35.No, not that lot. You lot! Where live from the Queen Elizabeth
:00:36. > :00:39.Olympic Park. We will bring you the action from across the UK as all of
:00:40. > :00:45.you enjoy the fun and games of Sport Relief. You are swimming and cycling
:00:46. > :00:57.to do your bit as well. Banks to you, Sport Relief really can help
:00:58. > :01:05.change people's life. Welcome to the Sport Relief Games Show.
:01:06. > :01:10.Hello and welcome to the Sport Relief Games Show with Matt Baker.
:01:11. > :01:15.And Alex Jones. And before we go any further, I think I can speak for all
:01:16. > :01:22.of us when I say we are truly in awe of you and your moonlight buttress.
:01:23. > :01:25.How on earth are you here? For anyone who hasn't seen Alex's
:01:26. > :01:32.challenge for Sport Relief, it's unbelievable. She had raised over ?1
:01:33. > :01:43.million. It is almost certainly going to go up. Everybody loves it.
:01:44. > :01:46.You can watch it all in a documentary on just after us. Now
:01:47. > :01:53.honestly, has this been the hardest week of your life? Without a shadow
:01:54. > :01:59.of a doubt. But people have been so generous and that has more than made
:02:00. > :02:04.up for it. Just relax and enjoy the afternoon. Now today, up and down
:02:05. > :02:08.the country people are going on the run, taking the plunge or getting on
:02:09. > :02:11.their bikes for Sport Relief and we are live from Queen Elizabeth
:02:12. > :02:16.Olympic Park, where the Games are well and truly underway. Just look
:02:17. > :02:22.at the view. You can see the Aquatic Centre on the left there, the
:02:23. > :02:28.magnificent Orbit in the middle. And on the right, you can hardly miss
:02:29. > :02:32.it, the former Olympic Stadium. And it's an exclusive look today as it's
:02:33. > :02:43.the first time anyone's been let loose around the whole park since
:02:44. > :02:47.London 2012. I can't believe it. This is a bit of an incline, it's
:02:48. > :02:55.quite testing, but everybody is doing really well. Helping us keep
:02:56. > :02:59.up to speed down here in London will be John Inverdale at the mile start-
:03:00. > :03:08.line. And CBBC's Michelle Ackerley will be covering all things cycle
:03:09. > :03:11.and swim related. We'll also be going live to Glasgow, where Hazel
:03:12. > :03:15.Irvine will be reporting all the latest goings on, from the host city
:03:16. > :03:20.of this Summer's Commonwealth Games. But that's not all. Here's what else
:03:21. > :03:26.we've got lined up for you. It's Bishop v Coe in the Clash of the
:03:27. > :03:31.Titans. Good as gold - Olympians Victoria Pendleton Lizzy Yarnold
:03:32. > :03:36.will be joining us. Lovely jubbly! Del, Rodney and Dave get together
:03:37. > :03:50.for a bit of mangetout! EastEnders settle a score in The Great British
:03:51. > :03:55.Bounce Off. Of course, we shot off the starting blocks on Friday night,
:03:56. > :04:03.raising an incredible ?52 million by the end of the show. But we are
:04:04. > :04:06.still counting and we will be revealing the latest total at the
:04:07. > :04:09.end of this programme. Right, time for a quick peek at how you've
:04:10. > :04:12.already been going the distance today, including us and our
:04:13. > :04:53.commentating legend Steve Cram, on the very first mile this morning.
:04:54. > :04:59.We'd love to hear from you, so if you're joining in the games today or
:05:00. > :05:03.you just want to spur on someone else, please do get in touch and
:05:04. > :05:08.we'll do our best to share your news with the nation. Details of how to
:05:09. > :05:11.contact us are on screen now. There's only minutes until our first
:05:12. > :05:15.live wave in London gets going, so before we hand over to John at the
:05:16. > :05:23.start line and our commentator Steve Cram, let's say a quick hello to
:05:24. > :05:27.Hazel in Glasgow. Welcome to Glasgow, the home of this year's
:05:28. > :05:31.Commonwealth Games. I'm joined here in Tollcross Park by hundreds of
:05:32. > :05:34.runners for the Sport Relief mile, and not far from us - just behind
:05:35. > :05:37.those trees, in fact - is the Tollcross International Swimming
:05:38. > :05:39.Centre, where earlier today the Sport Relief swimming challenge
:05:40. > :05:42.started. Meanwhile, in that direction is the Sir Chris Hoy
:05:43. > :05:51.Velodrome, where lycra-clad members of the public are standing by for
:05:52. > :05:57.the cycling event. And from there to the home of the
:05:58. > :06:01.Olympics and Paralympics in 2012. It looks beatable. The Velodrome and
:06:02. > :06:05.the Aquatics Centre are hosting the cycling and swimming action, but for
:06:06. > :06:09.the runners, they get the chance to run around Olympic Park. Let have a
:06:10. > :06:17.look at the track. John will be waiting for them at the start line
:06:18. > :06:23.next to the aquatics centre. They will head around the Olympic Park
:06:24. > :06:27.and then up that little incline past Matt and Alex sitting on their
:06:28. > :06:35.sabres where volunteers will be bad to give them their well deserved
:06:36. > :06:40.medals. Well, it is pretty cold and the way
:06:41. > :06:47.to keep warm today is to run. That is what these people intend to do in
:06:48. > :06:53.a few moments. Your whole season has been building up to this moment,
:06:54. > :07:00.James, hasn't it? Yes, I had a big pre-season to make sure I could run
:07:01. > :07:06.a mile without collapsing. Every ticket had ?1 go towards Sport
:07:07. > :07:12.Relief. I think some of the games in the Rugby World Cup next year will
:07:13. > :07:16.be played here in this stadium. The atmosphere is incredible, you can
:07:17. > :07:23.pick up the buzz as you approach. So fingers crossed it goes well. And
:07:24. > :07:30.you are doing a three legged race. How is your technique? We don't
:07:31. > :07:36.really know what but to go on. There are 1000 people behind us there will
:07:37. > :07:46.be overtaking us. And here is Luis Bence, how are you? I like to be
:07:47. > :07:57.limber, so I just think it's important to stretch. Hello. What
:07:58. > :08:02.are you doing? I'm doing my bit to Sport Relief. I've been reading
:08:03. > :08:08.nutrition books and athletes need a lot of cards, so I'm just giving
:08:09. > :08:21.cards out. Do you think you must read it? Carbs? Good luck carbs. I
:08:22. > :08:26.can't run because there is something wrong with me. I'd been to the
:08:27. > :08:33.doctors, we had weeks and weeks of test and now we know what it is.
:08:34. > :08:39.It's a cold. And you are doing something else here. Yes, I have a
:08:40. > :08:47.water station over there so if you are boasted, come by and I will give
:08:48. > :08:56.you a feed. Also this Paralympic athlete is going to be here. Nathan
:08:57. > :09:05.Stephens, who was in Strictly on Friday night. It was well worth it,
:09:06. > :09:16.an amazing experience. Five, four, three, two, one! There they go on
:09:17. > :09:21.their way. It's been a great morning already, we've had various waves
:09:22. > :09:25.setting off. A pretty inspiring route and great to see so mini
:09:26. > :09:31.people here with their chance to feel what it was like to be an
:09:32. > :09:35.Olympian and a Paralympian. Those memories of 2012 still very fresh
:09:36. > :09:41.but most people. This is their chance for their little bit of
:09:42. > :09:55.glory. Great to see so many taking part. He would have made a great
:09:56. > :10:00.games maker, wouldn't he? Now, all of you joining in the fun and games
:10:01. > :10:04.are doing it in aid of Sport Relief, so thank you to everyone who's done
:10:05. > :10:09.something for us this year. Please don't forget to send in your
:10:10. > :10:15.sponsorship money, very important. Details of how to do that on a
:10:16. > :10:18.website. You really are changing people's lives. David Tennant
:10:19. > :10:22.recently went to Sierra Leone to see the difference your money makes.
:10:23. > :10:26.Sometimes it feels like we never stop asking you for money. And it
:10:27. > :10:31.might feel that no matter how much you give, nothing changes. Well, at
:10:32. > :10:39.this Children's Hospital in Sierra Leone, things are changing. Right
:10:40. > :10:45.here, children are being given a vaccine that will protect them
:10:46. > :10:49.against five killer diseases. Your money helped set up this x-ray
:10:50. > :10:55.machine and now it is paying for the man who operates it. And you paid
:10:56. > :11:03.for training of these amazing nurses. You paid for this lab that
:11:04. > :11:07.provides rapid testing for malaria and other killer diseases, so
:11:08. > :11:11.children can now be diagnosed in a fraction of the time it used to
:11:12. > :11:17.take. Little by little, things are getting better. That is because of
:11:18. > :11:24.you and the money you donated. See? It does make a difference. Right
:11:25. > :11:29.now, to children in this hospital. It really does, and it is not too
:11:30. > :11:50.late to donate. One of the easiest ways to donate is by a text message.
:11:51. > :11:59.Now, it is time to introduce some Olympic royalty. With three gold and
:12:00. > :12:10.silver between them, Wellcome Elizabeth the Arnold and Victoria
:12:11. > :12:21.Pendleton. Yes, hold it up high! Isn't it beautiful? Do you ever get
:12:22. > :12:31.sick of all the adoration? No, not at all. I'm impressed by this lot
:12:32. > :12:35.running a mile. Has it sunk in yet? No, I think it will take a while.
:12:36. > :12:43.The holding of such a big occasion. I can say an Olympian. In a few
:12:44. > :12:49.months, maybe I will realise I actually won the race. I bumped into
:12:50. > :12:53.you earlier when you met for the first time and you are part of an
:12:54. > :13:00.exclusive club. To have that kind of some of summer versus winter, it was
:13:01. > :13:03.lovely. You are now very experienced at winning Olympic gold medals. What
:13:04. > :13:10.do you make of what you have seen today? It is fantastic, it is so
:13:11. > :13:13.nice to be back in the Olympic Park with so many people and so much
:13:14. > :13:17.enthusiasm. Getting involved with sport for a great cause, I would
:13:18. > :13:24.like to say thank you to everyone who has been part of this race and
:13:25. > :13:33.Dave. Probably quite emotional but you? What was it like to be back in
:13:34. > :13:37.the Velodrome? It was very strange. It felt almost like a dream. Did it
:13:38. > :13:43.happen? The Olympics was such a crazy time. So to be back in there
:13:44. > :13:48.on Friday was really good fun. Listen, it is time to get into the
:13:49. > :13:57.zone because we are about to play an intense game. We all remember London
:13:58. > :14:02.2012 fondly, but the recent success of the Winter Olympics has begged
:14:03. > :14:13.the question, which is better? The Winter Olympics or the Summer
:14:14. > :14:25.Olympics? With the help of Clare Balding's BBC shopping trolley,
:14:26. > :14:32.let's play our game. You both have 24 carats and 24 seconds. And we
:14:33. > :14:35.don't have to eat them. No, chuck them in the trolley and where you
:14:36. > :14:42.will see how much you got in there at the end. You just got to try and
:14:43. > :14:52.throw your character into your own trolley. Go!
:14:53. > :15:00.Victoria went for about five carrots in one go. Ten seconds have gone.
:15:01. > :15:13.This is good. Lizzy Yarnold, you will have to catch up. Throw in the
:15:14. > :15:25.basket. That is it. This is a good game. Victoria. Well done.
:15:26. > :15:38.Competitive to the end. I liked the way you grab them all. I am going to
:15:39. > :15:47.win! Ladies, thank you very much. It was lovely to see you both. Good
:15:48. > :15:55.luck getting the carrots out of your hair! We have two EastEnders going
:15:56. > :16:04.head-to-head in the swimming pool. It is the Great British Bounce Off.
:16:05. > :16:14.It is time to see how the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Games are
:16:15. > :16:21.going in Glasgow. Over to Hazel. Thank you very much. Good afternoon.
:16:22. > :16:29.It is sunny and warm in Glasgow. Why are we surprised? It is always like
:16:30. > :16:32.that. This is the host city of the Commonwealth Games and anything
:16:33. > :16:39.sport related is striking a chord with the Scottish people because
:16:40. > :16:45.over 50,000 people volunteered to be working at the Commonwealth Games.
:16:46. > :16:49.We have a lot of young men and women ready to do battle over one mile.
:16:50. > :16:55.Gail Porter has done over three miles. It was really good. I will
:16:56. > :17:02.not be as fast as you, you will beat me, but it was great fun and I am
:17:03. > :17:05.pleased to be involved. You have supported Sport Relief of many
:17:06. > :17:12.years. From what you have seen this week, the amazing thing is, what has
:17:13. > :17:18.struck a chord? Everyone has worked so hard. I watched Alex Jones on the
:17:19. > :17:30.mountain. No, I get upset watching Spiderman. Davina did amazingly. You
:17:31. > :17:33.will do amazingly well. This is a better effort from Gail Porter
:17:34. > :17:44.because it is her birthday today. Congratulations. We are in the
:17:45. > :17:49.middle of the afternoon for Sport Relief. The events have been going
:17:50. > :17:59.on since 7am in Glasgow. We can show you what has been occurring.
:18:00. > :18:05.I got a bit of sun, which is unusual for Glasgow. It is a bit cold, but
:18:06. > :18:34.nearly perfect. 100 out of 100. 13 lengths, I am
:18:35. > :18:41.excited. Sport Relief! It has been a great day, for a great cause. It has
:18:42. > :18:48.been the best day ever. And a special starter, only Judy Murray.
:18:49. > :18:54.Welcome, great to see you. We saw Andy Murray the other night on Sport
:18:55. > :18:58.Relief and he had to apologise again for forgetting you at Wimbledon. He
:18:59. > :19:05.will never be allowed to forget that. There may be a coaching
:19:06. > :19:10.opportunity, are you free over the next few months they have? Certainly
:19:11. > :19:19.not, to busy here. You have been involved in Sport Relief before, why
:19:20. > :19:24.are you so keen to be involved? I believe in everybody gets out and
:19:25. > :19:28.gets active. It is great to see so many people here today, it does not
:19:29. > :19:36.matter how old. We have two-year-olds, grandparents. What
:19:37. > :19:40.kind of times might we see from these young men and women? They
:19:41. > :19:47.looked like they can do the mile in four minutes. What is coming up over
:19:48. > :19:54.the next couple of months you? We have a big project, we have a hotel
:19:55. > :20:00.opening, which is taking up a lot of my time. And then it will be the
:20:01. > :20:05.French open and around to Wimbledon. We are looking forward to see how
:20:06. > :20:11.Andy Murray gets on. And we are ready to see you do your stuff. This
:20:12. > :20:23.is Glasgow and when I ask if you are ready to go? I want to hear go. Are
:20:24. > :20:34.you ready to go? OK, Judy, five, four, three, two, one, go!
:20:35. > :20:40.It is great to see so many people taking part in what will be the
:20:41. > :20:45.heart of the sporting summer, Glasgow hosting the Commonwealth
:20:46. > :20:49.Games. These venues being used, the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, and the
:20:50. > :20:55.swimming Centre, we hope to see medals. Andy Murray took part in
:20:56. > :21:02.Mock The Week, getting involved in Sport Relief. They have a lovely day
:21:03. > :21:06.there. They have been taking part in all sorts of events. It is great to
:21:07. > :21:11.see so many people enjoying Tollcross Park and Glasgow showing
:21:12. > :21:19.itself off in a great light, as always.
:21:20. > :21:28.Great. This lot are on the final straight. It is not just in Glasgow
:21:29. > :21:34.and here in London that Sport Relief Games are happening, they are
:21:35. > :21:38.happening at over 1000 venues. To see who is going the extra mile,
:21:39. > :21:46.across the Irish Sea, Dame Mary Peters has all the fun from Belfast.
:21:47. > :21:52.Here we are in Belfast. We have a great crowd taking part, all ages.
:21:53. > :22:07.Men, women and children, walking, running, cycling, doing everything
:22:08. > :22:13.to support Sport Relief. We went down three times, it was great.
:22:14. > :22:22.Great to see so many kids doing it. It feels good. While you are doing
:22:23. > :22:29.it. I feel great, I want to do all I can to help people in need. That was
:22:30. > :22:38.sunny Belfast, sunny but very cold. We had a great turnout, even
:22:39. > :22:46.somebody on a UV cycles. -- unicycle.
:22:47. > :22:56.This year is the first time swimming has been part of the weekend and
:22:57. > :22:59.wallowing in the footsteps of the -- Rebecca Adlington, Ellie Simmonds,
:23:00. > :23:06.and Tom Daley, you have all done very well.
:23:07. > :23:12.Welcome to the aquatic centre. Participants are getting ready to
:23:13. > :23:18.swim for Sport Relief, raising money. These water babies will swim
:23:19. > :23:29.1.5 kilometres, around 30 lengths, in aid of Sport Relief. Are you
:23:30. > :23:46.ready? Yes! Three, two, one.
:23:47. > :23:55.Hopefully, around the country we have 25,000 people swimming and they
:23:56. > :24:03.will raise 2.5 million. Well done, all the swimmers. It must be
:24:04. > :24:07.exciting for them to know they are swimming in the Olympics winning
:24:08. > :24:11.ball where there were so many amazing swimmers a couple of years
:24:12. > :24:17.ago, and raising money for a great course. So many turned out, all ages
:24:18. > :24:20.and different mobility. That is all from the aquatic centre.
:24:21. > :24:27.I am inspired to get active stock make sure you get involved and do
:24:28. > :24:32.your bit. That is right, a great opportunity
:24:33. > :24:39.to swim in the Olympic swimming pool. Well done to the swimmers. The
:24:40. > :24:46.next event takes a lot of puff, and that is just to blow up the course.
:24:47. > :24:51.We asked two East End to answer the question - what happens if you force
:24:52. > :24:57.two EastEnders to compete against each other on in the inflatable
:24:58. > :25:00.assault course? Prepared to be amazed as Jamie Borthwick and Sam
:25:01. > :25:05.Strike go in at the deep end in the Great British Bounce Off.
:25:06. > :25:16.Welcome to the aquatic centre. Swimming and diving Aso 2012. Now it
:25:17. > :25:21.is about the inflatable course and we have two special East End boys.
:25:22. > :25:35.Which of them will make the bigger splash? Ladies and gentlemen, please
:25:36. > :25:43.welcome Sam Strike. And put your hands together for Jamie Borthwick.
:25:44. > :25:52.Can you swim? I can swim, I am not sure how fast. What training did you
:25:53. > :26:00.go through? I watched Titanic. I did the same, we watched it together. I
:26:01. > :26:06.can swim. It looks funny, but I can swim. The Great British Bounce Off.
:26:07. > :26:16.The competitors will make their way to the start. Here we go, the
:26:17. > :26:23.competitors are ready, in red, Jamie Borthwick, in blue, Sam Strike. They
:26:24. > :26:27.will start, docking, diving and weaving their through the assault
:26:28. > :26:30.course, towards the Sport Relief balloons. They will push them down
:26:31. > :26:34.the swimming pool and touch the end of the swimming pool and the first
:26:35. > :26:48.to push the balloon out the swimming will be the winner. On your marks.
:26:49. > :26:54.Get set. Go! And a very good start from Jamie, fractionally in the
:26:55. > :27:00.lead. Jamie getting stuck. Sam will have to get back onto the assault
:27:01. > :27:04.course. Jamie has the advantage but water in his eyes. We see his
:27:05. > :27:12.swimming prowess as he goes towards the balloon. Sam is trying to make
:27:13. > :27:17.ground. Jamie is ahead. Sam is catching him. Jamie is tarring, he
:27:18. > :27:24.is finding it hard work -- he is getting tired. Sam, the least
:27:25. > :27:29.experienced swimmer. He does hardly any sport. They are level with ten
:27:30. > :27:37.metres. Jamie will need encouragement. He is touching the
:27:38. > :27:44.side. Keep going, Sam Strike. Jamie has to touch the end. Jamie has. Now
:27:45. > :27:49.he has to get the balloon out of the water. Sam has touched the end. It
:27:50. > :27:53.is the first to get the balloon out of the water. They are tired from
:27:54. > :28:01.the swimming and do not have the energy to do this. Jamie is the
:28:02. > :28:10.winner. Congratulations. Jamie Borthwick. The champion. I am sure
:28:11. > :28:15.you will agree it was the most extraordinary sporting event. Such a
:28:16. > :28:22.good start from both of you and Sam, you fell and slipped and lost your
:28:23. > :28:34.balance. Jamie, a great jump into the water. What happened, Sam? I
:28:35. > :28:45.fell. You did. Jamie. It does not look very big from up there but when
:28:46. > :28:52.you get in and look along, oh. We have a trophy. It is unique. Jamie,
:28:53. > :29:02.it is yours. The inflatable Great British Bounce Off trophy. They were
:29:03. > :29:08.great sports. Congratulations, Jamie Borthwick, our champion. Back to the
:29:09. > :29:22.studio. I feel shattered watching that. That
:29:23. > :29:26.was remarkable. We have a treat now. One of the highlights on Friday
:29:27. > :29:34.night was the return of Only Fools And Horses. Del Boy and Rodney are
:29:35. > :29:43.back with a new character, known as Dave from Peckham. It is David
:29:44. > :29:53.Beckham, you plonker. Come on then, gather round, gather round. I'm not
:29:54. > :29:58.contagious. I've got a very special offer for you. This is a never to be
:29:59. > :30:07.repeated back in top of the range men's fashion. I have here authentic
:30:08. > :30:11.David Beckham in underpants. Before you rush in and tell me limb from
:30:12. > :30:16.limb, and to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about, I've got
:30:17. > :30:32.my younger brother Rodney to model a pair for you. Look at that. Brings a
:30:33. > :30:36.tear to your eye, doesn't it? These are 100% man-made cotton and they
:30:37. > :30:42.are fully elasticated. They've got a very handy button in case you are
:30:43. > :30:46.taken short. You know what I mean. Just to show you what makes these
:30:47. > :31:03.very special, Rodney, turn around, if you please. Don't be shy. Come
:31:04. > :31:06.on. Right. Here is the speciality. Yes! Each wannabes has been
:31:07. > :31:15.personally signed by none other than golden balls himself. It just so
:31:16. > :31:27.happens that he is a personal friend of mine. Isn't he? I'm going to kill
:31:28. > :31:34.you. You see, he owed me a favour because I arranged a bouncy castle
:31:35. > :31:41.for his son Brookside's 12 birthday party. This is absolutely true. Come
:31:42. > :31:53.on, you won't see this again. They normally retail at ten quid but I'm
:31:54. > :32:00.knocking them out for ?2 50. Come on, let's clear up and get out of
:32:01. > :32:08.here. You'd better take those up, you looked like a right dipstick. --
:32:09. > :32:28.take those off. That is the last time. That is the
:32:29. > :32:35.last time I let you talk me into degrading myself for one of your
:32:36. > :32:40.screens -- schemes. These are hard times. We all have to make little
:32:41. > :32:48.sacrifices. Well, next time you can wear them. Don't be stupid, I've got
:32:49. > :32:52.a reputation to uphold. Did you think about my reputation? Yes, I
:32:53. > :32:59.did, that is why you are wearing them. You are just the same old Del
:33:00. > :33:03.Boy ploughing through life without the slightest consideration for
:33:04. > :33:10.anyone else's dealings. That hurts, that really hurts. You tell me one
:33:11. > :33:17.time when I've ignored you or hurt your feelings and don't go on about
:33:18. > :33:25.that painting competition. All the time I turned the knob up on the
:33:26. > :33:31.sunbed and major face red. -- made your face red. What about the time
:33:32. > :33:39.you asked me to play hide and Seek. I hid in the chest. That was a good
:33:40. > :33:46.place to hide. Nobody look there. Yes, so you will went for the -- for
:33:47. > :33:53.a drink at the pub. I was waiting there for four hours. You took the
:33:54. > :34:03.game too seriously. Nobody thought to tell me that! Occurs we didn't
:34:04. > :34:08.know where you were! There was a dodgy lock on that thing. You built
:34:09. > :34:13.it. I thought I was going to supplicate. Then why didn't you bang
:34:14. > :34:20.on the lead? Because then you would have known where I was hiding! Look,
:34:21. > :34:24.I'm sorry, but we got important matters to focus on, like the fact
:34:25. > :34:38.that we are currently lumbered with 200 pairs of men's pants that some
:34:39. > :34:43.git has scribbled over. What a year looking at me for? You asked me to
:34:44. > :34:50.sign them. If I asked you to go on to the high street wearing a sarong,
:34:51. > :34:57.would you? Well... It's all right, David, he not blaming you. I don't
:34:58. > :35:01.know what the world is coming to. Here I am, a former
:35:02. > :35:07.multimillionaire. I've got you with two GCSEs and a footballing legend
:35:08. > :35:18.and we cannot blog a pair of pants between us. Boxer briefs. What? They
:35:19. > :35:25.are boxer briefs. That's what I said. What is he on about? I'm only
:35:26. > :35:35.glad way backtrack we are not in Dragon 's Den. It was your idea to
:35:36. > :35:44.have Rodney modelled. I didn't want wear them in the first place! Oh,
:35:45. > :35:47.shut up, you tart. He's got a point. You could've been more
:35:48. > :35:52.enthusiastic. That's always been your problem. In case you hadn't
:35:53. > :35:59.noticed, I am not an underwear model. I am a middle-aged man who
:36:00. > :36:09.drives in a three Will van and I do not look like that. -- three-wheel
:36:10. > :36:15.van. Any excuse. I only suggested you do it because he wouldn't. I
:36:16. > :36:26.cannot go walking around in my underwear. Last time I did that,
:36:27. > :36:35.though the almost killed me. -- Fergie almost killed me. Why are you
:36:36. > :36:44.wearing those glasses? I thought if I wore them, nobody would recognise
:36:45. > :36:52.me. Good thinking. Have you really got two GCSEs? Yes, one in art. I
:36:53. > :36:58.love art. Who is your favourite artist? Probably much ease. I don't
:36:59. > :37:05.think anyone could get close to the way he used intensity to portray
:37:06. > :37:17.colour. McKee stood to colour what Picasso did perform. What about you?
:37:18. > :37:26.I love Tony Hart. Are you guys done? Can we get back to our problem? I
:37:27. > :37:39.think we have to accept we are in a classic case here. Do you really
:37:40. > :37:44.expect me to ask my son to stand on the market looking like a slab of
:37:45. > :37:49.meat while people gawk at him? That kind of humiliation could scar him
:37:50. > :38:00.for the rest of his life. You're already scored so one more wouldn't
:38:01. > :38:10.hurt, you see. What about trigger? That's no good. I'm sorry, but you
:38:11. > :38:14.are stuck with the pants. Most people think modelling is all about
:38:15. > :38:20.standing there, looking great, but it isn't. Actually, it is, but
:38:21. > :38:26.there's more to it than that. Listen, this is the horse's mouth
:38:27. > :38:34.speaking. Just remember, a good model doesn't just walk, he glides.
:38:35. > :38:48.A good model doesn't just turn, they oscillate. Glides. Oscillate.
:38:49. > :38:53.Exactly. Wright, gather round everyone, get close. Look at this.
:38:54. > :39:06.Look at the attention to detail here. You don't get that care and
:39:07. > :39:19.loving with most pants. I am going to kill you. Are you David Beckham?
:39:20. > :39:33.I am, but don't tell anyone. I don't want to draw any attention to
:39:34. > :40:02.myself. OK. Good boy. What a plonker.
:40:03. > :40:12.Classic. David Beckham was so good. It's quite strange. I actually got
:40:13. > :40:17.John Inverdale to sign a pair of his underwear. Let me tell you, Invers
:40:18. > :40:21.is very popular. They've been going like hot cakes at the finish line.
:40:22. > :40:25.I've only got one pair left. Come on now, Matt, don't lower the tone of
:40:26. > :40:30.the day. Let's go over to someone with a bit more class. Hazel, it's
:40:31. > :40:41.over to you in Glasgow. Welcome back to Glasgow. We're
:40:42. > :40:48.making a profit of John Inverdale's pants as well. We're nearly ready,
:40:49. > :40:56.let's speak to some of the boys and girls. Daniel, are you ready to run?
:40:57. > :41:15.How much have you been practising? A lot. I'm very, very, very fast. He
:41:16. > :41:19.is going to be a star. Good luck. There is a real sense of
:41:20. > :41:24.anticipation in Glasgow, not just about today's run, but also about
:41:25. > :41:36.the commonwealth games. We had a 40,000 mile torch relay for the
:41:37. > :41:39.Sochi Olympic Park And just as the torch relay serves as a warm-up to
:41:40. > :41:43.the Olympics, the Commonwealth Games has a baton which, since October,
:41:44. > :41:46.has been making its way across 70 nations and territories. It will end
:41:47. > :41:50.up in Glasgow in June, but it's currently in sunny Antigua, and so
:41:51. > :41:54.is Mark Beaumont - lucky man - who reports now on the progress of the
:41:55. > :41:59.Queen's Baton Relay. This is the 49th destination for the
:42:00. > :42:05.Queen 's patent. So far, it has been through Asia, the Pacific, Africa
:42:06. > :42:12.and now across to the Caribbean. The reception so far has been fantastic.
:42:13. > :42:19.The Sport Relief projects are in 15 of the territories, places like any,
:42:20. > :42:22.Uganda, Sri Lanka. I'm here with one of the national cyclists going to
:42:23. > :42:29.Glasgow. What is it like to be part of the Baton Relay. Everyone has
:42:30. > :42:32.been excited and full of energy. We then passing through the villages
:42:33. > :42:45.and I must say the reception is great. -- we've been passing
:42:46. > :42:52.through. We are looking forward to it. The atmosphere has been
:42:53. > :42:57.fantastic, not just here but around the Commonwealth. A real sense of
:42:58. > :43:01.coming together through sport. It is fantastic to see everyone getting
:43:02. > :43:07.behind the Sport Relief part, and looking forward to a spectacular
:43:08. > :43:17.summer of sport in Glasgow. Now, back to you guys in Glasgow.
:43:18. > :43:31.I tell you who else has been on her bike, Laura from Call The Midwife. I
:43:32. > :43:35.really enjoyed it. It was tough but then you think about why you were
:43:36. > :43:41.doing it. It's been a great day. What do you think you have raised
:43:42. > :43:47.the Sport Relief today? I haven't checked. Maybe 300. We'll see.
:43:48. > :43:52.Marvellous, thank you for taking part. And we got these lovely ladies
:43:53. > :44:02.and gentlemen, boys and girls ready to run. And who better to set them
:44:03. > :44:05.off then a group of curlers? Fresh from their medal success in Sochi,
:44:06. > :44:16.it's the Team GB Men's and Women's curling team. Tell us about the
:44:17. > :44:20.reaction since you got home. Just absolutely great, hopefully it has
:44:21. > :44:25.raised the profile of our sport and more and more people will come and
:44:26. > :44:27.try it. Clearly, all of you were involved in the Aquatics Centre down
:44:28. > :44:36.in London on the night of Sport Relief itself. It was simply
:44:37. > :44:40.incredible. 5000 or 6000 people. It gave you an idea of what it might
:44:41. > :44:47.have been like to win in London 2012. We've got two skips who called
:44:48. > :44:55.the shots. We got a flag and a klaxon. Who is going to do what?
:44:56. > :45:01.OK, let's get into position. And just a quick word about the
:45:02. > :45:06.Commonwealth games. Everyone in Glasgow is looking forward to the
:45:07. > :45:11.games. I think it is going to be great, great to encourage people to
:45:12. > :45:14.try as many new sport and to witness all these successful athletes in
:45:15. > :45:19.Scotland. I'm really looking forward to going out and watching as much as
:45:20. > :45:21.I can. Let's get these athletes on the way. Five, four, three, two,
:45:22. > :45:43.one! STEVE CRAM: great times in Sochi and
:45:44. > :45:49.great times in Glasgow today. Dave Murdoch said the best part was
:45:50. > :45:56.meeting Daley Thompson at the Velodrome. Tollcross Park is proving
:45:57. > :46:05.to be a great venue. They have a secret garden, associate crit,
:46:06. > :46:10.nobody knows where it is. I would like to know how many people
:46:11. > :46:16.have been running in Britain over the past week. Thousands. Thanks to
:46:17. > :46:23.everybody taking part in the Sport Relief Games. And please do not
:46:24. > :46:28.forget to pay in your sponsorship money. It sounds obvious. That
:46:29. > :46:35.includes you. Do you have the details from the website? I will
:46:36. > :46:40.look after the show. And coming up, we have children in a special 31
:46:41. > :46:43.ladies race. The next jaunt across the UK takes us to Jason Mohammad in
:46:44. > :47:59.beautiful Cardiff. That was great. I love that song.
:48:00. > :48:03.What are you doing? I am getting into the spirit. You climb a rock, I
:48:04. > :48:11.dress up as a banana. It is comfortable. During London 2012, the
:48:12. > :48:18.Velodrome was home to dramatic moments. I cannot take you
:48:19. > :48:25.seriously. Victoria Pendleton, Sir Chris Hoy, but those pale into
:48:26. > :48:36.comparison compare to what Gabby Logan has for us. The Velodrome ,
:48:37. > :48:40.this has a lot to do with teamwork. Blue Peter have followed an unusual
:48:41. > :48:47.event and this is the climax. On your marks, it is the final of the
:48:48. > :48:52.31 legged race. You look ridiculous. Hello, welcome to the Velodrome, we
:48:53. > :48:58.are about to witness an astonishing event, the 31 legged race. This is
:48:59. > :49:02.an actual competition with rules. The guys from Blue Peter have
:49:03. > :49:06.trained three schools for this and if you thought the three legged race
:49:07. > :49:12.was tough, look at this. The teams are supported by blue Peter
:49:13. > :49:23.presenters. Each team has three attempts to record the fastest time.
:49:24. > :49:42.Your team are good. Are we going to win? Slow and steady. They are out
:49:43. > :49:49.of time. We have one down. We are having a nightmare. The boys teams
:49:50. > :49:55.achieved the quickest times in the heats and secured the chance to
:49:56. > :49:59.compete at the home of the London Olympics. We can go to our
:50:00. > :50:07.commentator, Simon Brotherton. Thanks, Gabby, I had trouble with
:50:08. > :50:19.the three legged race, but never mind a 31 legged it race. Are you
:50:20. > :50:29.ready? Three, two, one. And they are under way. It is about
:50:30. > :50:36.coordination, teamwork and staying upright, of course. They have
:50:37. > :50:45.managed it so far. It will be about the time. 18 seconds. Four
:50:46. > :50:49.Dwellings, and from the start it was a trouble-free run. Perfect unison
:50:50. > :50:52.and coordination from start to finish.
:50:53. > :51:00.A fine performance from Four Dwellings. Radzi, he is looking
:51:01. > :51:08.after Montgomery Academy, the next school. 18 seconds will be tough to
:51:09. > :51:15.beat. It is tough, but we can deliver when it counts. 31 children
:51:16. > :51:25.ready to go. Simon Brotherton, take it away.
:51:26. > :51:33.They are lined up and raring to go. Are you ready? Three, two, one. They
:51:34. > :51:39.know what they have to do but it will not be easy. It is a steady
:51:40. > :51:46.start. 18 seconds is the time to beat. They reached the halfway mark
:51:47. > :51:52.and still roughly 25 metres to go. A little bit out of line. When one
:51:53. > :51:59.person goes down, they have to go back to the spot where that person
:52:00. > :52:06.fell. Now they can continue. Montgomery primary Academy will be
:52:07. > :52:11.outside the time. And another fall, for the second time. It is tough in
:52:12. > :52:16.the 31 legged it race. When one person goes, it is almost
:52:17. > :52:27.impossible. It would be easy for all of them to end up on the floor, like
:52:28. > :52:28.dominoes. And they go over the line. Montgomery Academy. And confirmation
:52:29. > :52:46.of the results. What a thrilling sporting contest we
:52:47. > :52:50.have witnessed. The first ever 31 legged it to Sport Relief
:52:51. > :52:56.championship trophy. I am going to present it. The winners of the race.
:52:57. > :53:05.I am delighted to say, 18 seconds and a personal best. Four
:53:06. > :53:11.Dwellings. That was a great effort. Well done
:53:12. > :53:19.to the children who took part and thanks to Blue Peter. Now, glitter
:53:20. > :53:23.balls and dancing shoes, joining us now two men who competed in a Sport
:53:24. > :53:33.Relief special of Strictly Come Dancing. One of them is known for
:53:34. > :53:37.the javelin, one of them is more comfortable jiving. Nathan Stephens
:53:38. > :53:47.and Ian Waite. Nathan, how was the atmosphere? Really happy. It is a
:53:48. > :53:54.fantastic occasion. In the Olympic Park, what an amazing experience.
:53:55. > :54:36.You are here to talk about dancing. We can see you both in action.
:54:37. > :54:48.It is easy to start swaying. That brought back memories. We can talk
:54:49. > :54:57.about the complications you had. On my right socket, on my right side,
:54:58. > :55:03.that is standard. But on my left side, the movement is limited. I
:55:04. > :55:10.cannot use my knee, my ankle, my hip, and I was trying to balance.
:55:11. > :55:18.Even for my wedding dance, we thought we would not be able to do
:55:19. > :55:22.it. But we had it padded out. The week of training was difficult. We
:55:23. > :55:28.did it for the cause, for Sport Relief. Its spurs you on. The
:55:29. > :55:33.wedding video has gone viral. We have to say congratulations. Ian
:55:34. > :55:45.Waite, you were dancing with Martina. What were the challenges?
:55:46. > :55:50.Firmly, it is so different to work with someone in a wheelchair and
:55:51. > :55:54.there is a proper technique because we do have wheelchair dancing
:55:55. > :56:00.competitions. I did not appreciate that. You have two hold your posture
:56:01. > :56:04.and your Armstrong, to get the wheels turning. There is a
:56:05. > :56:10.tremendous amount of technique and to learn that in a short space of
:56:11. > :56:16.time, for her, was amazing. Hannah Cockroft, she was victorious, we say
:56:17. > :56:20.congratulations to her. It is time to go to the starting line to see
:56:21. > :56:26.who is about to put their best foot forward.
:56:27. > :56:30.The sun is out and 30 yards from the start, each wave of runners, you
:56:31. > :56:38.need what Angelos has got, at what is perhaps the most premature water
:56:39. > :56:44.station. I am filling water bottles with iso- tonic water. It comes from
:56:45. > :56:50.my iso- tonic carols which is plugged into the system. It is iso-
:56:51. > :56:57.tonic around here because of the Olympics. They built it for the
:56:58. > :57:06.athletes. Much take-up? Nothing as yet. I think it is only 20 yards and
:57:07. > :57:15.they do not really need it. Tell us what else you have here. I have a
:57:16. > :57:20.running pack. In each one, we have a whistle in case you get lost,
:57:21. > :57:29.sandwiches in case you get hungry and in inspirational portrait of
:57:30. > :57:39.him. If they get bored, there is some light reading. That is running
:57:40. > :57:46.chips. I imagine there are riding tips in there. I would not know, I
:57:47. > :57:51.have not read it. Sebastian Coe, eight double Olympic medallist in
:57:52. > :57:58.his own right. Walking at some pace, I do not know why they bothered with
:57:59. > :58:06.the rowing venue in 2012, they could have done it down there. Helen
:58:07. > :58:12.Glover, and Heather standing. -- Heather. Is running part of your
:58:13. > :58:20.regime? Not really, we look like clumsy runners. We will give it a
:58:21. > :58:25.go. We might be walking more. I might have a last 50 metres sprint.
:58:26. > :58:31.Not the whole mile, but may be ducking for the line. People
:58:32. > :58:34.remember the first London Marathon when the two winners went across the
:58:35. > :58:42.line together. We could recreate it today. We are now heading into the
:58:43. > :58:46.competitive season. We had a good winter and heading into the summer
:58:47. > :58:52.with races. Will you be back in the same boat? We do not know, I have to
:58:53. > :59:00.get fit again, after returning to training in December. You took time
:59:01. > :59:05.out after London to go back and resume your army career. How do you
:59:06. > :59:11.find being back in the unreal world, almost, of an athlete? It is
:59:12. > :59:15.brilliant. It is great to see Helen every day and get back into
:59:16. > :59:22.training. I feel privileged to be an athlete and do my copy every day as
:59:23. > :59:28.a job. This mile will be an integral part of your training. Michael
:59:29. > :59:35.Watson, the great boxer. How you? I am very well. You did the marathon.
:59:36. > :59:41.What time can you do today? Hopefully, three minutes! 60 years
:59:42. > :59:49.after Roger Bannister, you will set a new standard. I am a man of great
:59:50. > :00:00.inspiration and excitement. You inspire everyone. Lizzy Yarnold is
:00:01. > :00:04.here, to inspire people. Greg and Lucy. And Victoria Pendleton is
:00:05. > :00:11.here. Among her many skills is the ability to count from five, down to
:00:12. > :00:22.one. All yours. Five, four, three, two, one.
:00:23. > :00:29.Fantastic to see some of our sporting celebrities down there. Of
:00:30. > :00:39.course, not just one mile. John and I did one mile this morning and that
:00:40. > :00:50.was great. Angelos told me he was asked to be the base of the London
:00:51. > :00:59.2012 Olympics. -- face. Some are doing one mile, some three and some
:01:00. > :01:03.six. Victoria has already been on the bike and she will be running
:01:04. > :01:16.later on. Others have been swimming and cycling. Angelos is thankfully
:01:17. > :01:25.doing a great trade there. Helen and Heather are his only customers. We
:01:26. > :01:32.weren't as quick as three minutes. We took a bit longer than that.
:01:33. > :01:36.Thanks again to everyone taking part in the Sainsbury's Sport Relief
:01:37. > :01:40.Games today. I can't believe it but we're at the midway point of the
:01:41. > :01:49.show already, so it's over to Gary Lineker for a bit of half-time
:01:50. > :01:55.analysis. Plenty of team work and commitment. I particularly liked the
:01:56. > :01:58.Angelos and John Inverdale partnership upfront. And heaps of
:01:59. > :02:05.support at the Queen Elizabeth Park. I can't wait the second half. All
:02:06. > :02:08.this is still to come. Who's the fastest, the Eagle or the
:02:09. > :02:11.Chef? We'll find out! The Garys get together for a World
:02:12. > :02:18.Cup anthem. And an extra special Kylie
:02:19. > :02:21.performance, Especially for You. We'll also have James Cracknell and
:02:22. > :02:27.Radio One's Nick Grimshaw joining us on the sofa to tell us what they've
:02:28. > :02:30.been up to for Sport Relief. But to share all the weird and wonderful
:02:31. > :02:34.ways you lot have been getting involved this year, let's take a
:02:35. > :02:37.look at how Sport Relief has been embraced in this country and across
:02:38. > :02:43.the globe. This year, you've taken up the
:02:44. > :03:01.challenge to get involved in the most imaginative ways. Running,
:03:02. > :03:04.pulling, dressing up... The Prime Minister also got involved as he
:03:05. > :03:12.opened up the gardens of Number Ten for some challenges. And it wasn't
:03:13. > :03:16.just in the UK. Sport Relief events have been taking place in Ghana,
:03:17. > :03:30.Paris and Kuwait to help raise money. So thank you to you all.
:03:31. > :03:34.The garden at Number Ten, very nice! Now, back in 2012 John Bishop became
:03:35. > :03:38.a Sport Relief hero after completing his gruelling week of hell. But 2012
:03:39. > :03:41.was also a pretty good year for the ultimate Olympian, Lord Coe, who
:03:42. > :03:44.helped to bring the Olympics and Paralympics to this very spot. But
:03:45. > :03:47.that wasn't enough for this pair. Bishop's back and Coe has been
:03:48. > :03:51.coaxed into making a glorious return to sport, as on Friday night, with
:03:52. > :03:56.the help of their teams, the duo went head to head. So who managed to
:03:57. > :03:58.get their hands on this? Ladies and gentlemen, it's the Clash of The
:03:59. > :04:30.Titans. Team Bishop! Team Coe. Clash Of The
:04:31. > :04:36.Titans has started. He has won the race! Extraordinary. The next event
:04:37. > :04:48.is synchronised swimming. # Whatever it takes is what I'm
:04:49. > :05:44.going to do. I think the tenacious Helen Skelton
:05:45. > :05:48.is going to take this one. Will Jamie Williamson slide into first
:05:49. > :06:02.place? It is the fastest time by a mile! An interesting start from
:06:03. > :06:11.Patrick Kielty. He hands over to Amy Williams. Whoever touches the wall
:06:12. > :06:14.first is going to be the Clash Of The Titans champion but 2014. Team
:06:15. > :06:42.Coe! Brilliant. Congratulations to Team
:06:43. > :06:45.Coe. Later on, Olympic legend Eddie the Eagle Edwards and Celebrity Chef
:06:46. > :06:49.Jean Christophe Novelli will be going head to head in a Velodrome
:06:50. > :06:53.bike-off. But we'd love to hear how you're joining in the games today,
:06:54. > :06:57.or how someone you know has done us proud. So please do get in touch and
:06:58. > :07:04.we'll try put your message on the telly. Details of how to contact us
:07:05. > :07:17.are on screen now. Let's do some now. "We completed our mile today
:07:18. > :07:23.and raised ?120" . "my friend and I are doing a three legged race for
:07:24. > :07:30.three miles at the Eden Project" . That is a long three legged race.
:07:31. > :07:33.One of my son's best friends, she only learned to ride a bike
:07:34. > :07:43.recently. She was only seven last week. She did ten miles on her bike.
:07:44. > :07:49.Brilliant. Very good. And we must thank BBC for their around the world
:07:50. > :07:59.challenge. Nick Grimshaw cycled the 12 miles. Altogether, the challenge
:08:00. > :08:04.raised 450,000, which of course helped Friday night to their record
:08:05. > :08:06.total. Let's have a look at all the other superhuman efforts people have
:08:07. > :08:25.been going to this year. We've been cycling but 12 hours.
:08:26. > :08:53.We're now on to the last bit. Boarded by thousands seats at
:08:54. > :09:05.Wembley. It is a daunting task. My guys are burning. -- 45,000 seats.
:09:06. > :09:44.My thighs are burning. Now, Alex is going to hate is the
:09:45. > :09:55.doing this, but please welcome our very own hero, Alex Jones. Come on,
:09:56. > :10:01.you deserve it. Just have three minutes of enjoying it. Sit yourself
:10:02. > :10:16.down. It's so weird. You're far away. Please relax. Alex has raised
:10:17. > :10:21.almost ?1.3 million. It is going to go up because everybody watching
:10:22. > :10:26.this is incredibly generous. You said you wanted some plasters at the
:10:27. > :10:37.top of the rock. So we've got it in the most beautiful way. Come on,
:10:38. > :10:46.lads. Especially be used. -- for you. That is brilliant. This is so
:10:47. > :10:55.good. Honestly, you can see by the state of my nails. Look at that.
:10:56. > :10:58.Standards have slipped. Let's rewind the clock to when Sports Relief came
:10:59. > :11:10.to you and said we want you to do this. What went through your mind?
:11:11. > :11:13.People like us, we've been out in different countries, we've seen
:11:14. > :11:18.where the money goes. When they come to you and think that you can raise
:11:19. > :11:23.a significant amount of money, it is hard to say no. So of course I went
:11:24. > :11:28.for it. I thought, a bit of climbing, it will be fine. What a
:11:29. > :11:35.shock on my Thursday. It felt like I had bitten off more than I could
:11:36. > :11:42.chew. You've seen more than I have. We've got a little moment that
:11:43. > :11:49.illustrates that beautifully. The truth is that all I genuinely
:11:50. > :12:00.want to do now is get off this. Everything is tangled. What was it
:12:01. > :12:08.like when the enormity of it hits you? That was a horrible moment. I
:12:09. > :12:12.think you can tell now, I thought, this rock is so big and I feel so
:12:13. > :12:20.small and unprepared to take on this challenge. But you get over it and
:12:21. > :12:24.you think, keep going. I'm so glad I did now. But there were times when I
:12:25. > :12:31.thought it was impossible. You went through lots of different techniques
:12:32. > :12:34.as well. This was quite a blank section of rock so you were
:12:35. > :12:46.traversing with bullet holes that Andy had put in for you. -- foot
:12:47. > :12:51.holes. You are just using all your strength and after about three
:12:52. > :13:00.moves, you are shattered. It was a big challenge, bigger than I
:13:01. > :13:07.expected. But as I told you, I saw it as I raised the rock. Every extra
:13:08. > :13:15.pound raised me up an inch. Your voice was the best thing I heard on
:13:16. > :13:19.the Wednesday. And we missed your birthday of course. So we've got you
:13:20. > :13:29.a cake. You are going to be amazed by this cake. Have a look at this.
:13:30. > :13:40.That's cake! That is too beautiful to eat. There I am. Amazing. What
:13:41. > :13:42.you have done is just amazing. All put together in a wonderful
:13:43. > :13:49.documentary as soon as this programme is over. Come back over on
:13:50. > :13:57.this side now. I'll bring the blanket. There is of course a very
:13:58. > :14:02.good reason why people do push themselves, and that is to raise
:14:03. > :14:05.money. John Bishop tells us the difference your money has been
:14:06. > :14:13.making to a little girl called Kadiatu.
:14:14. > :14:17.We all know Sierra Leone is a poor country. I went to one of the
:14:18. > :14:22.poorest areas. I saw many things there that shocked me, surprised me
:14:23. > :14:30.and stayed with me for a very long time. I met an 11-year-old girl. Her
:14:31. > :14:35.story particularly moved me. Some of the challenges that she faced in her
:14:36. > :14:49.life no child should have to face. Can you explain where we are?
:14:50. > :14:56.I can see why. What are your worries for the future? What other things
:14:57. > :15:07.that you worry about? You lost your sister and you worry
:15:08. > :15:19.you will die to? Since then, because of your
:15:20. > :15:28.donations, I've been told things have changed dramatically in
:15:29. > :15:29.Kadiatu's life. Sport Relief funded projects have helped her family find
:15:30. > :15:49.a new home. They now have access to clean water.
:15:50. > :16:07.They have communal toilets. And Kadiatu is now going to school.
:16:08. > :16:15.You are making the difference. These are the things that really, really
:16:16. > :16:21.matter. The good stories, the things that show you that you are changing
:16:22. > :16:27.lives right now. Please keep your donations coming in. Remember, there
:16:28. > :16:37.is a smile somewhere waiting to happen. Thank you.
:16:38. > :16:39.If you have not donated, it is still not too late. You can give fire a
:16:40. > :17:04.text message. You can give ?5, ?10. You must be 16 or over and please
:17:05. > :17:12.ask for the bill payers permission. And now it is time to sit back and
:17:13. > :17:14.treat yourself to a slice of cake. The Great Sport Relief Bake Off was
:17:15. > :17:19.back with new celebrities doing whatever they could to prove to Paul
:17:20. > :17:36.and Mary they did not have a soggy bottom. On your marks, get set,
:17:37. > :17:44.bake. A couple of more minutes. They are short on the top. We would like
:17:45. > :17:54.to apologise to the people of Eccles for what we did to your cakes. What
:17:55. > :18:01.is it, a pig? It is an elephant. You looks likely to glamorous.
:18:02. > :18:17.SINGS OPERA. I slightly burned it. Perfidy baked. I do not like that, I
:18:18. > :18:23.love it. I am really proud, they put their minds to it and enjoyed every
:18:24. > :18:32.minute. They did extremely well. I am proud of all of them.
:18:33. > :18:39.Oh, my goodness me. That tipped us over the edge. The birthday cake is
:18:40. > :18:46.amazing. That is one of the most challenging sections. This is not
:18:47. > :18:59.bad at all. It is lovely. It is time now to go to the velopark.
:19:00. > :19:04.I am on the starting line outside the Lee Valley velopark. These guys
:19:05. > :19:14.are about to cycle for 25 miles to raise money for Sport Relief. How
:19:15. > :19:19.long will it take? It depends, if they are competitive, it will be
:19:20. > :19:25.like a race. I do not know. I will enjoy it today. I was going to ask
:19:26. > :19:39.if you will enjoy it all, whether you will be competitive. Just
:19:40. > :19:42.enjoying it. Three, two, one. Go! This is a serious piece of
:19:43. > :19:50.equipment. Are you cycling with this Penny Farthing? I will give it a go.
:19:51. > :19:58.I am a member of the Penny Farthing club and have five minutes of
:19:59. > :20:04.experience, being a new member. I am going to do 50 miles. Did you do a
:20:05. > :20:10.lot of training? I have been spinning three times a week.
:20:11. > :20:18.Remember, you do not have two cycle 50 miles, 25 miles, three miles will
:20:19. > :20:26.do. Thanks to everyone taking part. Could you give me a push?
:20:27. > :20:34.Did they let go? They look brilliant, do you fancy a go on a
:20:35. > :20:39.Penny Farthing? Great to see you are cycling for Sport Relief, it is a
:20:40. > :20:50.good cause, gearing up to raise the money. Hoping to give us a brake!
:20:51. > :20:54.The next event, we thought what would be better than getting the
:20:55. > :20:59.worlds of sport and entertainment to collide? Fighting for glory, to see
:21:00. > :21:05.who can get the fastest lap, or at least not to fall off, that would be
:21:06. > :21:11.embarrassing. Gabby Logan watched it at the Velodrome.
:21:12. > :21:23.Welcome. Two celebrities... The atmosphere is electric. Sir Chris
:21:24. > :21:27.Hoy and Victoria Pendleton, they are following in their footsteps. Seeing
:21:28. > :21:32.who can complete the fastest lap. The only thing at stake is their
:21:33. > :21:46.pride. Shall we meet them? Swapping his apron for Lycra, John Christoph
:21:47. > :21:47.Novelli. And everyone's favourite Olympic underdog. Eddie B Eagle
:21:48. > :22:00.Edwards. -- Eddie B Eagle. What a reception. It adds to the
:22:01. > :22:08.tension. Have you been cooking up something special in draining? As
:22:09. > :22:16.always. You are used in this arena, how does it compare? This is
:22:17. > :22:21.nerve-racking. I have not been on a bicycle for 20 years, I got on last
:22:22. > :22:27.night for five minutes and I am saddle sore already. I am nervous.
:22:28. > :22:51.Good luck. We will find out more about the competitors.
:22:52. > :23:01.John Christoph Beverly is on the track. We can go to the commentary
:23:02. > :23:13.team. John Christoph Novelli's job is to
:23:14. > :23:18.get up to a good speed. Technique is everything. We need to get up to the
:23:19. > :23:25.track to get the momentum. He hits the white line. The stock clock
:23:26. > :23:29.starts. They are unfamiliar surroundings and it is out of the
:23:30. > :23:36.frying pan into the fire, but he is cooking on gas in the last lap. And
:23:37. > :23:44.he is doing it in trainers, as well. John Christoph Novelli, roared on by
:23:45. > :23:50.the Velodrome crowd. 20.7 seconds for the flying chef. The line into
:23:51. > :23:56.the lap was very good and he got good height. He unfortunately
:23:57. > :24:03.drifted out. Extra distance going to the blue line in the centre. John
:24:04. > :24:08.Christoph Novelli is a keen cyclist and he has set the time to beat. Are
:24:09. > :24:20.you happy? There is a young man, my boy, I love you, thank you.
:24:21. > :24:25.Eddie is powering along the track. The crowd are taunting his name,
:24:26. > :24:32.largely because it is the easiest of the two to chance. He said it was
:24:33. > :24:38.the first time he had been on a bicycle in 20 years. The final 250
:24:39. > :24:46.metres to beat the time of John Christoph Novelli. He is riding like
:24:47. > :24:53.a man possessed. Fantastic around the bottom of the track. That could
:24:54. > :25:00.make the difference. Back on the big stage, like in the Winter Olympics
:25:01. > :25:08.of 1988. I think he has done it. Eddie Edwards. It was a real grudge
:25:09. > :25:14.match. But I think it was the superior line on the track that made
:25:15. > :25:27.the difference. That is a winning middle age to man in Lycra. And
:25:28. > :25:38.confirmation of the results. Wow, 20.2 seconds. Brilliant. Just half a
:25:39. > :25:46.second. He is a legend and deserved to win. We could not let you go
:25:47. > :25:59.empty-handed. You have the golden tyre. The winner of the fastest lap,
:26:00. > :26:04.Eddie the Eagle Edwards. Victorious by half a second. Back to the
:26:05. > :26:11.studio. That was incredibly tight. And that
:26:12. > :26:17.is just their shorts. Later we will find out if Mark Foster can sink and
:26:18. > :26:21.swim in the aquatic centre. Now, for the final time, we can see who is
:26:22. > :26:32.warming up on the starting line, with John.
:26:33. > :26:44.This final wave, we start on your barks. Because we have the winners
:26:45. > :26:50.of the top dog competition. Gail Emms, you were the top dog. That is
:26:51. > :27:03.putting it nicely. These helped my dog. Rafa. Named after Rafael Nadal.
:27:04. > :27:07.You are shy, a beautiful border collie. What was it like to perform
:27:08. > :27:16.on television, how did the dogs react? It is amazing because we do
:27:17. > :27:21.not know the task until the day, and they were brilliant. Gayle was a
:27:22. > :27:26.brilliant captain. When we saw we had an Olympian, we knew we would
:27:27. > :27:32.not have problems. Is your dog normally this well-behaved? Very
:27:33. > :27:46.obedient. I am the professional, by the way. Ready, steady and... Also
:27:47. > :27:52.we have Perri shakes Drayton are you proud of everything two years ago?
:27:53. > :27:59.Of course, it brings back memories. Today, the taxi came at 1230, I am
:28:00. > :28:14.just up the road. I am going to walk today. I will take it easy. I shall
:28:15. > :28:23.walk with her. David Haye. Thanks to everyone. And the superstar dogs.
:28:24. > :28:30.Angelos is still here. Listen, it did not work out with the water
:28:31. > :28:37.station. You are a little bit too near the starting line. What I was
:28:38. > :28:42.wondering, can I borrow this? If everyone on the starting line can
:28:43. > :28:53.move back by 4000 paces, it would really help me out with my water
:28:54. > :28:58.fountain. Go on. Nothing. That is going as well as the water station
:28:59. > :29:05.idea. The mistake you made was not having water bowls for the dogs. I
:29:06. > :29:13.agree, it has been a shambles. I will leave you with ?10. That is for
:29:14. > :29:19.me -- from me, for Sport Relief. I would get it checked because it is
:29:20. > :29:22.from my mate, and he is imprisoned. It has been a pleasure. James
:29:23. > :29:34.Cracknell is going to start. I will give you the ?10. We are out here,
:29:35. > :29:38.it has been a great atmosphere. Over 50,000 people in the Olympic Park.
:29:39. > :29:45.It felt like a fraction of what happened a couple of years ago. It
:29:46. > :29:49.has. I have not been back for a while and the swimming pool with the
:29:50. > :29:54.size taken off, and the venue looks different, and the roads are open.
:29:55. > :30:00.It is now a functional community venue. Maybe West Ham will still be
:30:01. > :30:08.in the premiership when they come here. We have the pipes and drums.
:30:09. > :30:14.James, you have the honour of starting the last wave. We have had
:30:15. > :30:19.over 30,000 people running today. This is your final responsibility on
:30:20. > :30:38.the podium. Five, four, three, two, one. Great to see some of our top
:30:39. > :30:46.athletes there. Katrina Thompson may well be hoping to come back in 2017.
:30:47. > :31:03.The pipes and drummers are making a great noise. That stadium of course
:31:04. > :31:06.will host in 2017. Thousands here at the Olympic Park today and so many
:31:07. > :31:13.have been taking part in events right around the country. Well done
:31:14. > :31:20.to every single one of you, whether you bin running, cycling, swimming.
:31:21. > :31:24.Thank you so much. It's been a great weekend, great to see so many people
:31:25. > :31:34.coming together in the name of Sport Relief. We look forward to seeing
:31:35. > :31:37.them very shortly. Still to come, Garys Lineker and Barlow team up for
:31:38. > :31:40.a World class World Cup Video. But first, CBBC's Michelle Ackerley has
:31:41. > :31:44.been out and about in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to see what
:31:45. > :31:52.else is going on at the Sport Relief Games in London.
:31:53. > :31:55.Today, people aren't just swimming, cycling and running, they are
:31:56. > :32:09.getting stuck into a whole load of activities.
:32:10. > :32:29.Where having eggs great time. Loads of fun things to do, so get yourself
:32:30. > :32:33.down here. You know when sometimes a song comes
:32:34. > :32:36.along that you just can't get out of your head. Yes I know what you mean.
:32:37. > :32:40.It just keeps spinning around and you're all like 'wow'. Yeah, 'come
:32:41. > :32:43.into my world'. 'I should be so lucky'. Yes, it's annoying when that
:32:44. > :32:47.happens, isn't it? Anyway, next up, it's 'the voice' of an angel. It's
:32:48. > :33:09.David Walliams and Kylie's duet - Especially For You.
:33:10. > :33:12.right around the country. Well # Especially for you. I wanna let
:33:13. > :33:17.you know what I was going though. All the time we were apart. I
:33:18. > :33:23.thought of you # You were in my heart. My love never changed. I
:33:24. > :33:27.still feel the same. Especially for you I wanna tell you I was feeling
:33:28. > :33:32.that way too. And if dreams were wings, you know. I would have flown
:33:33. > :33:39.to you. To be where you are. No matter how far. And now that I'm
:33:40. > :33:44.next to you. No more dreaming about tomorrow. Forget the loneliness and
:33:45. > :33:57.the sorrow. I've got to say. It's all because of you # And now we're
:33:58. > :34:03.back together, together. I wanna show you my heart is oh so true. And
:34:04. > :34:45.all the love I have is. Especially for you.
:34:46. > :34:58.I've got to say it is all about you. Now, we are back together. Together.
:34:59. > :35:01.I wanna show you my heart is oh so true.
:35:02. > :35:03.And all the love I have is. Especially for you # You were in my
:35:04. > :35:20.heart. Together, I want to show you, my
:35:21. > :35:22.heart is true. And all the love I have is.
:35:23. > :35:42.Especially for you. So weird how David can look like
:35:43. > :35:52.Kylie and Jason at the same time. Very strange. Right. This year, more
:35:53. > :35:54.children than ever have been stretching their Sport Relief
:35:55. > :36:03.muscles to raise money. There's been dance-a-thons, bake-a-thons and
:36:04. > :36:08.classes wearing all in ones. So, we owe you a massive thank you. Kids,
:36:09. > :36:12.this is the use. Each and every year some of our most
:36:13. > :36:17.dedicated fundraisers are schoolchildren. In schools all over
:36:18. > :36:22.the UK, thousands get active and help to raise an incredible amount
:36:23. > :36:26.of money. This time, they have gone above and beyond, raising cash like
:36:27. > :36:32.never before. They all deserve a huge thank you. Today, we are at the
:36:33. > :36:41.training ground at Everton to get a group of fundraisers in little
:36:42. > :36:45.surprise. Hello, everybody. Look at that, Sport Relief headbands on.
:36:46. > :36:53.Right, you think you are at the training ground for a bit of a tour.
:36:54. > :36:57.But who would like to leak -- to meet three guys who wear blue for a
:36:58. > :37:05.living? The children do not know they are about to meet Roberto
:37:06. > :37:09.Martinez and to footballers. Well come. We're here to thank you
:37:10. > :37:14.because you've been magnificent raising money with your school.
:37:15. > :37:24.We're going to organise a game. Leighton Baines is going to play
:37:25. > :37:26.with the red side. So enjoy it. You want to go up front. We got our
:37:27. > :38:24.striker. We're underway. So, the Sport Relief goes to the
:38:25. > :38:30.Reds, 5-2! A very big thank you to all the schools who have been
:38:31. > :38:32.involved this year. With thousands of people across Britain running,
:38:33. > :38:36.cycling and swimming for Sport Relief, BBC Sport wants the nation
:38:37. > :38:47.to keep up the good work and stay fit, healthy and active. Go on, Get
:38:48. > :38:51.Inspired. Keep on running, swimming and
:38:52. > :38:56.cycling. BBC sport wants you to get active and stay active. Go to our
:38:57. > :39:04.website to find a sport for you. With information on how, why and
:39:05. > :39:14.where. Don't just watch it, do it. Get active. Get inspired.
:39:15. > :39:24.Does that mean I have to carry on climbing? Yes. No. Now it's a sad
:39:25. > :39:29.moment, as it's time for the last of our special sporting events. Oh, but
:39:30. > :39:32.it's a good un. We challenged Olympic swimmer Mark Foster to
:39:33. > :39:36.compete against two local teenagers, assuring him we would give the sport
:39:37. > :39:39.of swimming the respect it deserves in the hallowed Aquatic Centre. Yes,
:39:40. > :39:44.we promised him that it would be taken absolutely seriously and would
:39:45. > :39:52.be a completely fair race. But we lied.
:39:53. > :39:59.Welcome back to the Aquatics Centre. The crowd are buzzing because there
:40:00. > :40:09.is a real treat for you. Waiting in the wings we have two yokel -- local
:40:10. > :40:24.youngsters who in this pool will be taken on by sixth six inches Olympic
:40:25. > :40:32.legends. -- by six foot six of Olympic legend. It is our swimming
:40:33. > :40:38.superstar Mark Foster! A huge welcome to all three of you. Agnes,
:40:39. > :40:44.what does sport mean to you? It means so much to me. It helps me to
:40:45. > :40:51.make friends and to concentrate. I really like swimming and martial
:40:52. > :41:00.arts. Was it your birthday yesterday? Yes, it was. I turned 17.
:41:01. > :41:07.Happy birthday. And what about you, Joe? Why do you enjoy swimming? I
:41:08. > :41:10.love swimming, football, karate. I've made loads of new friends
:41:11. > :41:17.swimming and I love the fitness side of it. You have a real challenge.
:41:18. > :41:26.This man Mark Foster has six world championship titles. 50 metres is
:41:27. > :41:34.his specialist at -- distance. We are doing 50 metres today. I can't
:41:35. > :41:41.swim any further. Agnes is going to start, Joe is going to tread water
:41:42. > :41:48.at the 25 metre point and will tag you and off you go. Do you think you
:41:49. > :41:53.can win? I think we will win. We have a way of slowing down Mr Mark
:41:54. > :41:57.Foster. When Mark was in his swimming days, he wore very tight
:41:58. > :42:03.trunks. What you are going to be wearing today is this. This is the
:42:04. > :42:15.latest new swimsuit out on the market. The big reveal... Make your
:42:16. > :42:34.way to the start. So, to schoolkids from Stratford
:42:35. > :42:44.taking on the six time world champion Mark Foster, ex-world
:42:45. > :42:47.record holder on this event. A very good 25 metres but Foster looks like
:42:48. > :42:58.he might be in trouble. I've never seen him swim in such a Willie
:42:59. > :43:12.onesie as this. Look at this. -- such a woolly onesie. It looks like
:43:13. > :43:16.Joseph will win! Oh, my goodness. Ladies and gentlemen, show your
:43:17. > :43:23.appreciation for Agnes and Joe! Oh, dear, a little handclap for Mark
:43:24. > :43:27.Foster. I take my hat off to both of them because to come out here and do
:43:28. > :43:31.that in front of the these people is fantastic. To read the effort. We
:43:32. > :43:42.don't want you to go away with nothing to show for it. -- terrific
:43:43. > :43:48.effort. We have a certificate for both of you and you get a Sport
:43:49. > :43:55.Relief challenge badge. One for each of you and one also be you, Mark.
:43:56. > :43:59.They have come to the biggest stage of all and competed in front of all
:44:00. > :44:08.of you. We hope they've inspired you to take up swimming, to live your
:44:09. > :44:20.dream, to try to compete. Well done. Mark Foster there with the Oscar
:44:21. > :44:24.smile. He didn't quite when. -- win. Thank you so much for sending in
:44:25. > :44:28.your messages and letting us know how you've been joining in with the
:44:29. > :44:42.Sport Relief Games. Lots of games -- messages. "I've done a sponsored
:44:43. > :44:47.baked the Sport Relief as I'm on crutches" . " My career rolled
:44:48. > :44:58.completed the Sport Relief mile and today has done a four mile bike
:44:59. > :45:03.ride" . Three rolled? ! And Vicky says her six-year-old has done the
:45:04. > :45:12.mile run. One more message from Angela Ross - can someone help me
:45:13. > :45:16.fold my table, please? Preparations are underway to make sure England
:45:17. > :45:22.have everything they need to achieve success this summer. I hear the
:45:23. > :45:32.penalty shoot out practice schedule has been drawn up. This year,
:45:33. > :45:41.England are a -- after a decent World Cup song. Another exciting
:45:42. > :45:45.Saturday in the Premier League and the title race is hotting up, the
:45:46. > :45:55.perfect appetiser to the main course this year, England at the World Cup.
:45:56. > :45:59.Good night. We are off there. Here we go again, every four years it is
:46:00. > :46:06.the same, England this and England that. England have not won anything
:46:07. > :46:10.yet. It will be tough. But at least we qualified, unlike Scotland and
:46:11. > :46:23.the Republic of Ireland. The only thing coming back with England
:46:24. > :46:29.players this year is an allover tan. It will be different this time. I
:46:30. > :46:35.have had an idea. We can put together a World Cup song. A song to
:46:36. > :46:38.inspire the nation and one that the fans can sing on the terraces and
:46:39. > :46:50.ensure that England win the World Cup. What a joke that is. Make it to
:46:51. > :46:58.the quarterfinals, then. I've been with legendary foot taller is,
:46:59. > :47:03.musicians and Ente -- entertainers. We can do it for Sport Relief. And
:47:04. > :47:09.if it is rubbish, we can play the charity card. You know nothing about
:47:10. > :47:19.making records. But I know Gary Barlow, and he does. You know Gary
:47:20. > :47:26.Barlow? Of course, all the show business Garys know each other.
:47:27. > :47:39.Prove it right now. Hello. It is Gary. Hello, Gary.
:47:40. > :47:51.Hello Gary, what have you been up to? I have been laying down some
:47:52. > :47:57.tracks. It sounds Dench. I am eating a song together, can you help me? I
:47:58. > :48:05.would do anything for Sport Relief, as long as you can do something in
:48:06. > :48:13.return. World Cup tickets? No, can you get me Alan Hansen's autograph.
:48:14. > :48:14.I suppose so. Brilliant, I am in. This could be Sport Relief's
:48:15. > :48:37.greatest day. # Today this could be.
:48:38. > :48:47.The greatest day of our lives. Before it all ends.
:48:48. > :48:59.Before we run out of time. Stay close to me.
:49:00. > :49:09.Watch the world come alive tonight. Stay close to me.
:49:10. > :49:18.Tonight this could be the greatest night of our lives.
:49:19. > :49:24.Let's make a new start. The future is ours to find.
:49:25. > :49:37.Can you see it, can you see it in my eyes?
:49:38. > :49:46.Can you feel it now? Can you hold it in your arms
:49:47. > :50:00.tonight? Hold on. Hold on.
:50:01. > :50:05.Tonight. Hold on. Hold on. Oh, stay close to me.
:50:06. > :50:09.Hold on. Stay close to me. Watch the world
:50:10. > :50:22.come alive tonight. Stay close to me.
:50:23. > :50:27.Hold your head high. Hold on.
:50:28. > :50:34.Arms open wide. Yeah, the world starts to come alive
:50:35. > :50:42.when you stay close to me. Today this could be the greatest day
:50:43. > :50:50.of our lives. Today this could be the greatest day
:50:51. > :50:55.of our lives. Oh.
:50:56. > :51:15.And the world comes alive. And the world comes alive.
:51:16. > :51:28.Oh oh oh. Stay close to me.
:51:29. > :51:34.And the world comes alive. Stay close to me And the world comes
:51:35. > :51:44.alive. Watch the world come alive tonight.
:51:45. > :51:55.Stay close to me. Hold on.
:51:56. > :52:14.Today this could be the greatest day of our lives.
:52:15. > :52:34.Is it all over? It is now. That was beautiful, wasn't it?
:52:35. > :52:40.Almost as good as David Walliams. You can get that and download it
:52:41. > :52:47.from iTunes. You will be supporting Sport Relief. Our thanks goes out to
:52:48. > :52:52.them. And now, Olympic rower James Cracknell.
:52:53. > :53:04.You might have to shout, the pipers are coming through. They will air at
:53:05. > :53:11.the start. I got a lift here. I left my wife and children to come here.
:53:12. > :53:17.My eldest left my wife and two girls somewhere out there, so they will
:53:18. > :53:21.come past in a minute. Today is about running, cycling and swimming
:53:22. > :53:24.and we have seen brilliant young athletes coming past. What advice
:53:25. > :53:34.would you give to any aspiring athlete? Advising young athletes,
:53:35. > :53:43.this is the perfect place. As an athlete, people specialise so young.
:53:44. > :53:48.Running in a place like this, that is where they cycle, that is where
:53:49. > :53:53.they swim, that is where the boxing was, the basketball. Realising there
:53:54. > :53:57.are so many opportunities, not just heading down one road. Something
:53:58. > :54:12.else you might be better rat, or enjoyed more. -- better at. Of all
:54:13. > :54:20.the three, which would you prefer? In my house, swimming, I am not the
:54:21. > :54:23.fastest swimmer. My wife is a good swimmer and her brother went to
:54:24. > :54:31.Athens and my mother-in-law is a swimming coach. I am competitive, so
:54:32. > :54:37.I avoid swimming. Running is time efficient, for everyone with job,
:54:38. > :54:41.family and friends, you put on trainers and you are out. It is
:54:42. > :54:46.lovely to see the families getting involved and doing it together. You
:54:47. > :54:55.have done amazing challenges the Sport Relief. They are back again,
:54:56. > :55:06.the pipers. You have done massive challenges. The road the channel.
:55:07. > :55:13.Which is the hardest? Roaming across the Atlantic, when you are a small
:55:14. > :55:20.dot in a massive landscape, it is very strange. These menus are big,
:55:21. > :55:26.but sporting venues, the swimming pool is the same size. In the ocean,
:55:27. > :55:37.there is so many variables that can happen. When you are against other
:55:38. > :55:41.problems, that is a big thing. Nothing in comparison to trying to
:55:42. > :55:47.talk over the pipers. Thanks again to everybody taking part in the
:55:48. > :55:54.Sport Relief events. You will help to make a difference. We are now
:55:55. > :56:01.going back to Glasgow for a final visit to Hazel.
:56:02. > :56:07.Thanks, Alex. I have my friends with me who have been having a wonderful
:56:08. > :56:20.time, including Rose, it's getting a bit too much verve. She is only two.
:56:21. > :56:25.It is all happening in Glasgow. With the Commonwealth Games, only 121
:56:26. > :56:30.days until the opening ceremony, and you will be hearing a lot more from
:56:31. > :56:44.this city of. In the meantime, goodbye, on a beautiful day, without
:56:45. > :56:50.number a la insight. -- and number a la -- umbrella.
:56:51. > :56:59.Congratulations to everybody who has joined in this weekend. Anyone
:57:00. > :57:06.thinking about doing it next time, we hope we have reminded you how
:57:07. > :57:10.inspirational sport can be. The pictures we have seen this week are
:57:11. > :57:14.people going out and doing something and getting involved, it is quite
:57:15. > :57:24.something. We have a lot of messages. Megan, aged 11, she went
:57:25. > :57:30.swimming 2.5 kilometres in 43 minutes and raised ?300. Well done,
:57:31. > :57:33.Megan. Allison said her ten-year-old daughter has run one mile and cycle
:57:34. > :57:42.three miles and is swimming one mile this afternoon. She has raised ?55
:57:43. > :57:51.and is trying to make ?100. Beverley is on her way home from doing six
:57:52. > :57:57.miles with her son Nathan. We can now reveal the total you have raised
:57:58. > :58:16.across the weekend. So far you have raised... Over ?53 million. An
:58:17. > :58:25.absolutely sincere thank you. And thanks also to Zoo Fever London
:58:26. > :58:32.Cheerleaders. Half the money raised goes to help projects here. And next
:58:33. > :58:37.on BBC One, Alex, climbing the rock. Please stay to see the story of the
:58:38. > :58:46.challenge she faced. I have not seen it myself. Today, the efforts of
:58:47. > :58:54.everybody, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Olympic is the way to describe it.
:58:55. > :59:14.We will leave you with our own closing ceremony montage.
:59:15. > :59:43.# This is going to be the best day of my life.
