:01:12. > :01:15.Look at the spot we have chosen the path our party truck. I don't think

:01:16. > :01:20.it is on double yellow lines, we will be fine for a couple of hours.

:01:21. > :01:27.Even if we get a ticket, the view is worth it. Behind us, the Orbit

:01:28. > :01:32.sculpture and the home to the 2012 Olympic Games. Today, and equally

:01:33. > :01:37.momentous sporting occasion, Sport Relief Games, it is just as well we

:01:38. > :01:42.have a legend on hand. John Inverdale is at the start line. Good

:01:43. > :01:48.afternoon, a legend among sports commentators. Harry Davies will be

:01:49. > :01:54.talking us along through the action. -- Barry Davies. Ore Oduba will

:01:55. > :01:59.report from Sheffield, where football fans of all ages and

:02:00. > :02:13.abilities are taking part in the FA People's Cup. Ore has been busy.

:02:14. > :02:19.Ore spent Friday night in the Aquatics Centre overseeing the Clash

:02:20. > :02:25.of the Titans, one of the highlights of an epic evening which saw a

:02:26. > :02:33.record-breaking 55 million ?444,906 raised. That figure is still

:02:34. > :02:37.growing. At the end of the show, we will reveal the latest total. If you

:02:38. > :02:41.are feeling generous, please donate. Before that, we have got all of this

:02:42. > :02:48.to look forward to. Barry, over to you.

:02:55. > :02:57.Anton du Beke and Kevin Clifton swap the ballroom for the Aquatics Centre

:02:58. > :03:04.And get your skates on for the return of Frank Spencer.

:03:05. > :03:22.I love it! It is not just frankly getting physical, today thousands of

:03:23. > :03:26.you are taking part in the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Games, and

:03:27. > :03:32.a special thanks to the customers and staff of Sainsbury's, who have

:03:33. > :03:38.now raised an amazing ?100 million. 100 million! Since the start of the

:03:39. > :03:46.partnership with Comic Relief 17 years ago.

:03:47. > :03:48.Now today's events see the great British public putting

:03:49. > :03:50.on their running shoes, swimming cosies and cycle helmets

:03:51. > :03:52.at more than 600 locations across the UK.

:03:53. > :03:54.And throughout the show we'll be paying visits to...

:03:55. > :04:02.And we're not just all over the UK today -

:04:03. > :04:08.For the last month Eddie Izzard has been running across South Africa

:04:09. > :04:11.attempting to complete 27 marathons in 27 days to pay tribute

:04:12. > :04:18.to Nelson Mandela and his 27 years of imprisonment.

:04:19. > :04:27.He should change his name to Eddie is hard!

:04:28. > :04:34.He started on February the 23rd, and he finishes by doing his final two

:04:35. > :04:38.marathons actor back today. Hopefully we will see how he is

:04:39. > :04:48.getting on later. -- back-to-back today. From a comedy icon to a

:04:49. > :04:54.commentating icon. It is none other than the voice of sport, Mr Barry

:04:55. > :05:02.Davies, great to have you win us. It is a lovely cupboard you have got

:05:03. > :05:07.there. Like a mobile home! You commentating on the opening and

:05:08. > :05:10.closing ceremonies of London 2012, you have commentated on a lot of

:05:11. > :05:15.professional sports people, what is it like to comment on the great

:05:16. > :05:20.British public? It is wonderful, they were crucial to the success of

:05:21. > :05:23.the 2012 games. They turned out in their hundreds, thousands and

:05:24. > :05:27.millions to give support to the big names and the hugely successful

:05:28. > :05:33.Great Britain team. There is a bit of that feeling here today, I'm

:05:34. > :05:34.sure. Definitely, you have all of the details we need on the events,

:05:35. > :05:44.so over to you. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in

:05:45. > :05:50.all of its sporting splendour. In the distance, Lee Valley Velopark. A

:05:51. > :05:55.bit closer, on the right, the Aquatics Centre. Cycling and

:05:56. > :06:02.swimming events going on. We are watching the runners coming around,

:06:03. > :06:05.having been set off by John Inverdale, going past you to in your

:06:06. > :06:09.truck, and passed the stadium that saw so many highlights during the

:06:10. > :06:17.games four years ago. Then down past there towards the Orbit. A chance to

:06:18. > :06:25.get something warm and a medal to remember a special day. There would

:06:26. > :06:32.seem to be a fresh wave getting ready to run, so I think it's back

:06:33. > :06:36.to you, Matt and Alex. It's a lovely course. We ran it earlier and

:06:37. > :06:43.everyone who takes part in the series today -- the Sport Relief

:06:44. > :06:48.Games today will receive one of these medals. Engraved on both

:06:49. > :06:55.sides. I did myself proud for Sport Relief! Of course we are very, very

:06:56. > :07:04.proud recipients of our medals. We met lots of families on the way

:07:05. > :07:11.around. Not all sitting on the sofa drinking lattes. It is now, mainly.

:07:12. > :07:15.We took part first thing this morning. Here is a quick flavour of

:07:16. > :07:17.how thousands of you have already been walking, running, swimming and

:07:18. > :07:35.cycling in aid of Sport Relief. And we'd love to hear

:07:36. > :07:55.from you today. You can get in touch with us on BBC

:07:56. > :07:58.One's Facebook and Twitter If you're taking part in any

:07:59. > :08:06.of the events across the country let us know your name, where you're

:08:07. > :08:09.from and what you did and you could see your

:08:10. > :08:11.name on screen, just Now, of course, the Sport Relief

:08:12. > :08:23.weekend sprinted off the blocks on Friday night as the worlds

:08:24. > :08:33.of sport and entertainment collided My highlight was Russell Kane in the

:08:34. > :08:37.synchronised swimming. He was funny but he was so into it. I thought,

:08:38. > :08:43.you know what, that guy has got physical prowess. My man of the

:08:44. > :08:49.match was Greg James, lip sync thing. I know we are doing the

:08:50. > :08:57.Gregathlon, which we will talk about later. If you missed any of the

:08:58. > :09:06.action, here is a quick replay. Sport Relief 2016! Welcome to the

:09:07. > :09:11.show. I will run 27 marathons in 27 days. I am doing this on behalf of

:09:12. > :09:19.the portly middle-aged women in the country. Hello, Mr Wiggins!

:09:20. > :09:35.On your marks, go! And Hugh Dennis is down! Disaster. A two-time

:09:36. > :09:45.winner. What a gay days! Right, get out. This is it, this is their life.

:09:46. > :09:56.What we can do is help them from this point onwards. You look

:09:57. > :10:04.brilliant. Sport can create hope. It is a ten!

:10:05. > :10:15.We love you, Eddie. Keep going! I don't know how the legs are still

:10:16. > :10:23.going, but they are. The total so far tonight... Cheers, everyone.

:10:24. > :10:34.Thank you, so much, everyone who has donated. I am happy, thank you very

:10:35. > :10:40.much. The winners, Team Flintoff! Goodbye, Doris. Thank you! Thank

:10:41. > :10:58.you! Is it all over? It is now. So many moments. When it comes from

:10:59. > :11:03.giving you all with effort, it means so much more. You can't give any

:11:04. > :11:06.more than do your best and try hard. A huge thank you to everyone who

:11:07. > :11:12.gave their time on Friday night, and a huge thank you to all of you

:11:13. > :11:15.watching, who had donated and raised funds for Sport Relief. Maybe you

:11:16. > :11:19.can't run, but you can donate and help a wonderful range of Sport

:11:20. > :11:22.Relief projects in the UK and overseas. They are changing people's

:11:23. > :11:30.lives for the better, all through the power of sport.

:11:31. > :11:42.Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to unite

:11:43. > :11:49.people in a way that little else does. Sport can create hope where

:11:50. > :12:01.once there was only despair. For the last 14 years, Sport Relief

:12:02. > :12:07.and you, the British public, have been working together to change

:12:08. > :12:11.lives through the power of sport. Half of your donations fund projects

:12:12. > :12:17.in the UK. The other half go to the poorest countries in the world. In

:12:18. > :12:21.Kenya, we are supporting a project using football to teach leadership

:12:22. > :12:30.skills and teamwork. And inspires children to get an education. I feel

:12:31. > :12:34.good. Football makes me strong. For young people with disabilities in

:12:35. > :12:41.the UK, sport can unlock a whole new world of opportunity. I like the

:12:42. > :12:48.different activities. I want to feel confident. Your money supports

:12:49. > :12:53.street children across the world. Giving them a safe place to sleep.

:12:54. > :13:01.And through sport, the chance to feel like children again. In

:13:02. > :13:06.Bangladesh, drowning in floods is a major cause of death in children. So

:13:07. > :13:11.Sport Relief taught children to swim, and saved countless lives.

:13:12. > :13:15.Here at home, a lot of older people can face loneliness and depression.

:13:16. > :13:21.Sport Relief supported this project, where sport makes them feel part of

:13:22. > :13:26.a team once again. It doesn't stop there. Across the world, your

:13:27. > :13:30.donations are inspiring people to get active and change their lives. I

:13:31. > :13:38.want to be the best boxer in the world. Not a bad reason, is it? This

:13:39. > :13:47.is your chance to be part of something amazing.

:13:48. > :13:50.And that right there is the reason why thousands of you up and down

:13:51. > :13:53.the country are taking part in the Sport Relief Games today.

:13:54. > :13:55.You're helping to fund amazing projects that

:13:56. > :14:07.It has all gone quiet here at the moment, there is an air of

:14:08. > :14:11.anticipation. There is about to be a massive burst of energy behind us,

:14:12. > :14:16.because we have a whole load of milers ready to go for the next Mile

:14:17. > :14:21.in London. John is at the start line. He was the last person who

:14:22. > :14:26.said good night to me at the rugby last night. We will hand over to him

:14:27. > :14:33.now, John Inverdale, at the start. You promised not to tell anybody,

:14:34. > :14:38.Matt! Some elite athletes here, Perri Shakes-Drayton, you will be in

:14:39. > :14:41.Rio fingers crossed? That is what I am training towards, everything is

:14:42. > :14:49.going well, so look out for me this summer. Aliona and Jay from

:14:50. > :14:55.Strictly, are you going to do the paso doble? Slowly rumba. She told

:14:56. > :15:00.me just to enjoy myself, but if we don't win, she is not talking to me

:15:01. > :15:07.ever again! Roger Black with your sons. Is this the part the father

:15:08. > :15:12.bragging rights? They will be going quickly and I will be puffing behind

:15:13. > :15:23.them! Sharron Davies and Derek Redmond... I have the wrong venue!

:15:24. > :15:28.Derek, looking forward to it? I am, my dad is half way around, he will

:15:29. > :15:33.help me finish the race! Greg, we will talk to you later. Danny, from

:15:34. > :15:40.Eastenders, you went out to Sierra Leone to see what the work actually

:15:41. > :15:44.does. Absolutely. It was brutal, it was real life. It affected me in a

:15:45. > :15:49.way I never thought it would. That is why I am here and I want to do as

:15:50. > :15:55.much as I can to help our fellow human beings. I'm sure you got

:15:56. > :16:03.involved! A couple of triathlons? Nothing... You will be next year,

:16:04. > :16:09.that is an exclusive! I did a triathlon around many bars in Paris

:16:10. > :16:14.last night! Good luck, enjoy it. Towards the start. Double Olympic

:16:15. > :16:17.champion James Cracknell is going to sound his klaxon. We will have a

:16:18. > :16:23.starting clock on the big screen. Looking forward to it? Every running

:16:24. > :16:30.race is too far, no matter how long, so it is better to start and then

:16:31. > :16:34.chase my son. You saw him win his Chopper on Friday night, here he is

:16:35. > :16:40.with the klaxon. Four, three, two, one...

:16:41. > :16:51.Here we go, for the latest race around the Olympic Park. And away

:16:52. > :16:58.they go, what a sight. The spirit is the same it was, I can't believe it

:16:59. > :17:02.was four years ago, my last visit to the now Queen Elizabeth Olympic

:17:03. > :17:09.Park. Look at the attitude of the competitors, the elite amongst the

:17:10. > :17:13.favourites in this wonderful park which is 560 acres, would you

:17:14. > :17:27.believe. There seem to be hundreds here wanting to run around it.

:17:28. > :17:32.With all this physical exertion going on it only seems fair we prise

:17:33. > :17:45.It does! This is the mile route. It bends around the sofa, there is

:17:46. > :17:56.great grains. Can you see him? Hello! Greg! -- there is Greg James.

:17:57. > :18:03.We have found a family, do you live here? We live in the athletes'

:18:04. > :18:07.facts. Do you know who is flat? About the block we weigh in was the

:18:08. > :18:15.great British team, but we don't know who. So as anybody knows, let

:18:16. > :18:22.us know. Do you use the facilities on a daily basis? You can't not use

:18:23. > :18:28.them. What is your name? Are you whispering? Is it you go? I thought

:18:29. > :18:32.it might be. Is this the first little bit of the mile you have been

:18:33. > :18:40.doing, or had you been here for a while? This is the first bit. We

:18:41. > :18:45.have Bella and Jenny, why is it important to do this as a family? It

:18:46. > :18:50.is important to raise money macro and awareness for everything going

:18:51. > :18:57.on. My husband is in Belize on an army exercise, they are aware of the

:18:58. > :19:02.Zika virus, malaria, there is a lot of awareness which needs to be

:19:03. > :19:09.raised. Is you get on, we don't want to hold you up. You couldn't not do

:19:10. > :19:13.this if this was happening on your front door! Crack on, Hugo!

:19:14. > :19:16.It's not just London playing host to the Sport Relief Games today.

:19:17. > :19:17.They're happening at locations all across the country.

:19:18. > :19:20.So let's catch up with former Paralympic swimmer Rachel Latham in

:19:21. > :19:32.Eat, sleep, run repeat for Sport Relief. Welcome to Norwich, the

:19:33. > :19:38.University of East Anglia, where hundreds of people have sacrificed

:19:39. > :19:45.their duvets and cooked breakfast to do the mile, or more, for Sport

:19:46. > :19:51.Relief. We are hoping to gee up the crowds, maybe belt out some operatic

:19:52. > :19:54.notes. I have not done much training, I only entered yesterday.

:19:55. > :20:04.Just doing it to raise money and have fun.

:20:05. > :20:11.We just want to get fit while raising money for it.

:20:12. > :20:16.Not much spring in the air in Norwich today, but there was spring

:20:17. > :20:20.in people's steps and Miles smiles. Good people doing things for a good

:20:21. > :20:24.cause to change people's lives. Thanks, Rachel - and thanks

:20:25. > :20:26.to everyone taking part You are doing brilliantly! The

:20:27. > :20:35.enthusiasm miserably. It's time now to welcome our first

:20:36. > :20:38.guests to the party truck. They are two of our country's most

:20:39. > :20:40.decorated athletes - both of them Olympic

:20:41. > :20:41.gold medallists. Hello to James Cracknell

:20:42. > :20:52.and Sally Gunnell. Wellcome, both. James, you have just

:20:53. > :21:00.started this? It is a fraud, I have mine Ban and I am just watching. --

:21:01. > :21:09.have my number on. Number one son has stormed off somewhere. It is a

:21:10. > :21:12.loop, he will come back! Just leave him on it, he can do six miles!

:21:13. > :21:14.Now, on Friday night, you both took part in something

:21:15. > :21:20.called the Great Sport Relief Bike Off.

:21:21. > :21:29.For people who missed it, give some background. We were trying to break

:21:30. > :21:32.a Guinness world record for how many people can write one kilometre in

:21:33. > :21:38.the Velodrome in an hour. It was kicked off by James, we had to

:21:39. > :21:47.literally... Like a relay, each person did four lap is, and luckily

:21:48. > :21:53.we had 40 people on reserve, and it took 41 of us and I ended up having

:21:54. > :21:57.two goes, it was brilliant. I am just going to bring the bike in, if

:21:58. > :22:03.it is all right. It is extraordinary. The height of the

:22:04. > :22:08.seat! Is looks like something out of the circus, what is going on? Is a

:22:09. > :22:16.Chopper not meant to be the other way around? It was very twitchy. I

:22:17. > :22:21.was doing the first one, so I carried on for an hour. Bradley

:22:22. > :22:25.Wiggins did the hour, I was setting and our record on a chopper. I had

:22:26. > :22:34.lots of encouragement from the rest of the relay guys. This is original?

:22:35. > :22:41.1983. I should have cleaned it a bit! The wheels are not original,

:22:42. > :22:45.they are not built for staying on the bank of the Velodrome. There was

:22:46. > :22:51.a little bit of other patient, but it is not made for comfort -- there

:22:52. > :22:54.was a little bit of adaptation. Hoople must be wondering what on

:22:55. > :22:59.earth you looked like. Here is the answer. -- people must.

:23:00. > :23:06.COMMENTATOR: Two Olympic champions the same time, James Cracknell and

:23:07. > :23:11.Sally Gunnell. Two-time Olympic champion rower, but this will

:23:12. > :23:15.probably feel like the hardest race of his life. Partway there, grim

:23:16. > :23:24.determination written all over his face. The minutes are slowly ticking

:23:25. > :23:29.away, he is having to dig deep. Hats off to James Cracknell for this

:23:30. > :23:33.magnificent effort, and hour of pain for a great cause.

:23:34. > :23:41.That looked very full on. It felt much faster than its looked. In my

:23:42. > :23:48.mind, I was zipping around, I think I was doing about 25 seconds labs,

:23:49. > :23:53.when prior to did his our record he was doing 16 seconds, that is how

:23:54. > :24:01.quick. -- when Bradley did his record in an hour. I was thinking, I

:24:02. > :24:08.had to get around without going to hide, you had to pick your moment.

:24:09. > :24:14.Sally, as a world Champion hurdle, you can get over anything! We have a

:24:15. > :24:23.friend with us. This is Mark McKinley, a newcomer. Here is your

:24:24. > :24:35.certificate to prove that you have set this record. 40 cyclists in the

:24:36. > :24:42.hour. As we say, you are all officially amazing.

:24:43. > :24:46.APPLAUSE You have both broken records in your

:24:47. > :24:48.separate fields, how does this compare?

:24:49. > :24:55.It was a mad idea that has come to fruition. It is nice that you are a

:24:56. > :25:01.world record-holder. I had one, it only lasted two years, so it is nice

:25:02. > :25:05.to get one back. Are you still the world record-holder? How much was

:25:06. > :25:10.yours broken by? Not too much, it was close, but then I had to go and

:25:11. > :25:15.interview the girl who just broke my world record. Mine was broken by

:25:16. > :25:24.eight seconds in London. You still have the British hurdle record.

:25:25. > :25:34.Arguably the Chopper one is the one you want! Does it have to have Steve

:25:35. > :25:36.had -- Steve Redgrave's signature on it. We are not saying this is

:25:37. > :25:38.comedy, but we are moving on. And when I say comedy gold,

:25:39. > :25:45.I am talking 24 carat. Is it possible... 26? I don't

:25:46. > :25:50.whether you can get 26! Yes, one of the most iconic sitcom

:25:51. > :25:53.characters of all time returns And just like thousands

:25:54. > :25:56.of you across the country, he's going the extra

:25:57. > :25:58.mile for Sport Relief. But - of course - he's doing

:25:59. > :26:01.it in roller skates! It's time to welcome

:26:02. > :26:02.back Frank Spencer. And here he is on his journey to see

:26:03. > :26:21.little Jessica all grown up I'm going left! We are nearing the

:26:22. > :26:27.end of this world record our attempt from Sir Bradley Wiggins, it is

:38:43. > :38:48.of both. A brilliant cause, everybody should do it. I got off

:38:49. > :38:52.lightly this year. I have done things in the past, I am still

:38:53. > :38:59.waiting for the call for me to play golf for seven days in a row in the

:39:23. > :39:26.people of Glasgow and everybody for taking part. Keep your name is

:39:27. > :39:33.coming in, we will put them on the telly. We have seen many people

:39:34. > :39:37.tackling a mile in aid of Sport Relief today. So spare a thought for

:39:38. > :39:44.Eddie Izzard, running more than 700... It is hard to get your head

:39:45. > :39:49.around it. Just remarkable. Eddie set himself the challenge of running

:39:50. > :39:54.27 marathons in 27 days. We had a taste of his journey earlier on, but

:39:55. > :39:59.here is the full story so far, blister... Hang on, these are live

:40:00. > :40:05.pictures. Let's bring you up to date live. This is his second marathon,

:40:06. > :40:10.through the streets of Pretoria. Not sure how far into it he is at the

:40:11. > :40:14.moment, but we will keep you up-to-date with how he is getting

:40:15. > :40:22.on. He definitely wants to finish this today. We know he tried in

:40:23. > :40:24.2012, goodness me. We need to get the total art, because Eddie's

:40:25. > :40:31.challenge has been absolutely massive. -- total art. Astonishing

:40:32. > :40:36.feats in South Africa. One of the easiest ways to donate is by text

:40:37. > :41:07.message. If you haven't already, this is the cause to donate to.

:41:08. > :41:17.We would like you to introduce you to the Ugradar family from South

:41:18. > :41:22.London. Hegga, Haroon and their sons Ilyas, Jamal and Bilal. They are

:41:23. > :41:28.first timers, they have run six miles, all of them, in the Queen

:41:29. > :41:34.Elizabeth Olympic Park. This is how they got on. Hello, I am Jamal and

:41:35. > :41:41.we are doing six miles for Sport Relief. This is Bilal. This is

:41:42. > :42:03.Haroon. This is my family! It's nine o'clock, we are very, very

:42:04. > :42:13.excited. Sport Relief run. What about you guys? Yes! Let's go! This

:42:14. > :42:18.way for the mile. How are you? Thank you. There you

:42:19. > :42:53.go, ready to go. Off you go. Not taking it too fast otherwise

:42:54. > :43:04.I'll get exhausted. Nice and slow. Sorry, can't stop! We need to do

:43:05. > :43:31.this! I am very pleased to say that we

:43:32. > :43:36.have the Ugradar family with us. A brilliant achievement. Six miles,

:43:37. > :43:42.all of you. A fantastic atmosphere here today, wasn't it, Hegga. You

:43:43. > :43:46.must feel elated that as a family you have completed it. So many

:43:47. > :43:52.people, even if it was cold, you felt warm. So much entertainment

:43:53. > :43:55.around the course, brilliant. You will have to explain this, we were

:43:56. > :44:00.on the starting line with you and you said you had never run a mile

:44:01. > :44:08.before. What was it like, doing six? It was really fun. What was the

:44:09. > :44:12.funniest bit? We were with you at the beginning and we jumped out, we

:44:13. > :44:19.only did a mile and you carried on. In the end, you took a bit of a

:44:20. > :44:27.tumble. Are you feeling OK, Bilal? A few scratches. A round of applause.

:44:28. > :44:32.A massive high five, it is all about effort. To take a tumble in the

:44:33. > :44:38.first few metres, to dust yourself off and then do six miles off the

:44:39. > :44:42.back of that... There is a big reason that you, as a family,

:44:43. > :44:49.decided to complete the Sport Relief six miles today. Not long ago, I was

:44:50. > :44:55.diagnosed again terminally with cancer and I wasn't given very long

:44:56. > :44:58.to live. When I was on my last seconds, I thought I'm going to sign

:44:59. > :45:04.up for a marathon, so this was a piece of cake. I managed that last

:45:05. > :45:09.October. I completed a marathon, even if I was told not to, and are

:45:10. > :45:15.advised not to. I did it. This time I wanted to do something with the

:45:16. > :45:22.family, so we thought, let's do six miles together. Wow.

:45:23. > :45:31.Dad, how proud are you? Very, very proud. She is so inspirational. She

:45:32. > :45:36.makes everything so easy for us. This was her idea. We wanted to do

:45:37. > :45:42.something fun as a family, something to remember and raise money for a

:45:43. > :45:48.great cause. You have done that. I tell you what, you need your medals,

:45:49. > :45:51.because, gosh, do you deserve them? We have a double Olympic gold

:45:52. > :45:56.medallist to give them out, James Cracknell.

:45:57. > :46:07.APPLAUSE He is behind you!

:46:08. > :46:12.There you go. I am hoping there is one is better for me, but I don't

:46:13. > :46:17.think there is. Huge congratulations, like we said, for

:46:18. > :46:21.you, get that around your neck. You have got the war wounds to prove it.

:46:22. > :46:24.I cannot believe you are all still smiling after six miles. Go around

:46:25. > :46:26.again! Just kidding. And if you've been fundraising

:46:27. > :46:28.at home, too, then please don't forget to send in your

:46:29. > :46:31.sponsorship money. Can you imagine going to all that

:46:32. > :46:34.effort and forgetting! Details of how to do

:46:35. > :46:37.this are on the website, Now, of course, the lovely Ugradars

:46:38. > :46:41.here are just one of thousands of families taking part

:46:42. > :46:43.in the Sport Relief Games all over So it's to Northern Ireland we go

:46:44. > :46:52.now where Belfast's favourite daughter and all-round athletics

:46:53. > :47:07.legend Dame Mary Peters has Here we are in Belfast on a cold but

:47:08. > :47:15.lovely fresh morning, dry, lots of people of all ages have turned up to

:47:16. > :47:20.support Sport Relief and their mile. It has raised money for a lot of

:47:21. > :47:24.worthwhile charities that needed, what better way to do it? A great

:47:25. > :47:32.turn out already, I am looking forward to it.

:47:33. > :47:38.Really good, enjoyed it. Good atmosphere. Really vital to get the

:47:39. > :47:44.money to where it needs to help people. It is wonderful to see so

:47:45. > :47:50.many people early in the morning running the streets of Belfast, from

:47:51. > :47:55.tiny babies through to pensioners, dogs and a world champion boxer,

:47:56. > :47:57.Carl from Tim, with his daughter. It has been a wonderful atmosphere.

:47:58. > :47:59.Thank you, Dame Mary, and everyone taking part in Belfast.

:48:00. > :48:08.And, as you can see, our roll call continues to grow.

:48:09. > :48:17.As if by magic, there it is! All those people going the extra mile

:48:18. > :48:21.for Sport Relief. All you have to do is send your name and what you have

:48:22. > :48:22.done. We would love you to get in search.

:48:23. > :48:26.Now the very land under our feet played host to some of the greatest

:48:27. > :48:28.ever triumphs in British sport back in 2012.

:48:29. > :48:30.Who can forget the achievements of Mo Farah, Jess Ennis

:48:31. > :48:35.and Greg Rutherford on Super Saturday?

:48:36. > :48:39.But not even their victories come close to the glories celebrated

:48:40. > :48:44.Teamed with a few famous faces, Freddie Flintoff

:48:45. > :48:46.and Sir Steve Redgrave made a glorious return

:48:47. > :48:51.So forget Super Saturday as we bring you the events of...

:48:52. > :49:12.Tonight we have two teams, one of them will be crowned the Clash of

:49:13. > :49:24.the Titus champions 2016. -- class of the Titans. What is the secret?

:49:25. > :49:31.You just had to paddle fast! We have a fall, Hugh Dennis is down. It is

:49:32. > :49:44.the sprint for the line. Freddie Flintoff is a two-time winner. Next

:49:45. > :49:50.up, synchronised swimming. 14 Redgrave, Will Young! I am the

:49:51. > :50:01.Merman of the synchronised swimming world. Judge and the three? Eight! A

:50:02. > :50:10.clean sweep of eights. Ladies and gentlemen, Russell Kane! I will

:50:11. > :50:12.control the water. I would not be surprised if I grew fins all

:50:13. > :50:25.webbing! It is ten!

:50:26. > :50:34.It is looking good for Team Flintoff. Team Redgrave have ball.

:50:35. > :50:43.-- four. This requires athleticism and sporting prowess. Good tumbling

:50:44. > :50:49.skills. Look at the control. A really expressive performance. Loads

:50:50. > :51:04.of expression, and a bit of skill as well. Great work. Wow, how ambitious

:51:05. > :51:11.is that?! Look at the tears, that was emotional? I just hope that

:51:12. > :51:23.translated to the judges. I put my heart, sole and everything into

:51:24. > :51:32.that. Ten! We are about to see two prime cuts

:51:33. > :51:37.of human man go head-to-head. The big man from Bolton in blue, and

:51:38. > :51:45.masterful man McFly, he has that Strictly Come Dancing footwork. The

:51:46. > :51:52.small man wins against the bigger man! I have a bad knee, tendinitis

:51:53. > :51:57.in two elbows and the lung capacity Day 57-year-old. I did all right.

:51:58. > :52:02.Team Flintoff with a 1-point lead going into the final event in the

:52:03. > :52:09.team triathlon. This event is so short, you do not hold back. It is

:52:10. > :52:16.pure speed. Five metres to go, it looks like

:52:17. > :52:22.Freddie Flintoff will win the 2016 gains, what a fantastic race. So

:52:23. > :52:23.close in the end. The Sport Relief 2016 Clash of the

:52:24. > :52:39.Titans champion, Team Flintoff. It was so brilliant. The rhythmic

:52:40. > :52:45.gymnastics. It is impressive with the ribbon, but Omid Djalili with

:52:46. > :52:47.the hoop, oh! He is multitalented, though.

:52:48. > :52:51.Now, of course, today is all about the fun

:52:52. > :52:55.But we're not afraid to get a little political for a moment.

:52:56. > :52:59.As we all know, it's been a somewhat turbulent time of late for the major

:53:00. > :53:04.Footballing icon Pele has found just the man to sort it out.

:53:05. > :53:17.My name is Edson Arantes do Nascimento, or as I am

:53:18. > :53:22.known around the world, Pele.

:53:23. > :53:25.With the Fifa election coming up, I am here to make an announcement.

:53:26. > :53:34.I will not be running for the position of Fifa president.

:53:35. > :53:39.Because there is a better man for the job.

:53:40. > :53:44.A man who understands football like no-one else.

:53:45. > :53:49.A man who lives and breathes the beautiful game.

:53:50. > :53:53.Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my choice to be the next

:53:54. > :54:05.Or as he's known around the world, Smithy.

:54:06. > :54:17.Since 1888, association football has held its head up high

:54:18. > :54:24.But now, in 2016, it seems to have lost its way.

:54:25. > :54:27.The good name of football has been dragged through the mud.

:54:28. > :54:29.The game I love, tarnished with allegations, and it

:54:30. > :54:33.And what makes it worse - even the players are letting

:54:34. > :54:40.Players taking dives, looking for cheap penalties.

:54:41. > :54:42.But worst of all, players insisting on ripping their tops

:54:43. > :54:49.I'm determined to change all of that.

:54:50. > :54:52.So today, I, Smithy, announce my campaign to become

:54:53. > :55:10.As I was saying, I want to bring football back to its former glory,

:55:11. > :55:14.and I want to share with you my plan for how we get it all back on track.

:55:15. > :55:16.Firstly, a lot's been said about grassroots football,

:55:17. > :55:19.Grass is rubbish, innit, Geoff?

:55:20. > :55:24.Everyone knows Astroturf is the superior surface.

:55:29. > :55:31.No more cancelled games because of waterlogged pitches,

:55:32. > :55:33.guaranteed crazy, uncontrollable bounces -

:55:34. > :55:35.who's not going to want to watch that, right,

:55:36. > :55:41.Now, I would like to go on record and say that the rumours

:55:42. > :55:44.of my being a stakeholder in Chinese Alan's Astroturf company

:55:45. > :55:46.The Lawn Of The Dead are completely unfounded.

:55:47. > :55:49.My shares have been sold to Vanessa Shanessa Jenkins,

:55:53. > :55:58.The next motion I propose is a ban on teams bringing out

:55:59. > :56:06.Right now, Man Utd have more costume changes than Beyonce,

:56:07. > :56:11.Under my regime, all teams must stick with the same strip

:56:12. > :56:16.Couldn't have said it better myself, boss.

:56:17. > :56:20.Another part of my plan is to bring back teams recording FA Cup songs.

:56:21. > :56:23.I'm talking Crystal Palace giving it Glad All Over,

:56:24. > :56:26.the Anfield Rap, Man Utd's Move, Move, Move.

:56:27. > :56:29.Yes, a terrible song, a disgrace to music,

:56:30. > :56:32.but it connected us as fans with the players.

:56:33. > :56:35.Under my regime, every football league club must record a song

:56:36. > :56:39.and a video full of banter every single season.

:56:40. > :56:43.You know me, Smithy, I'm the king of banter.

:56:44. > :56:47.All I want to do is bring football back to where it belongs.

:56:48. > :56:50.In the hearts and minds of true fans.

:56:51. > :56:53.And it's these fans who are being priced out of the game.

:56:54. > :56:56.I heard a story the other day where a ticket to watch

:56:57. > :57:05.No-one should pay a penny to watch Tottenham, but that's how

:57:06. > :57:08.This is football we're talking about.

:57:09. > :57:13.But we, the fans, are the only constant.

:57:14. > :57:14.Owners will change, managers will change,

:57:15. > :57:20.We are ones who remain through thick and thin.

:57:21. > :57:23.As Fifa president, I will make sure we are listened to.

:57:24. > :57:26.But don't just take my word for it - listen to my friend,

:57:27. > :57:37.my confidante, my campaign manager, Mr Jose Mourinho.

:57:38. > :57:45.Three of the most inspirational leaders of our time.

:57:46. > :57:50.But I don't think any of them could save football like Neil Smith.

:57:51. > :57:52.Please vote Smithy for president, and make him

:57:53. > :57:59.Look, I want to go back to a simpler time.

:58:00. > :58:02.Bobby Moore swapping shirts with Pele.

:58:03. > :58:04.Gazza and Vinnie messing about on the pitch.

:58:05. > :58:08.Becks pinging in that free kick against Greece.

:58:09. > :58:12.Sir Geoff Hurst winning us the World Cup in '66.

:58:13. > :58:15.These are the times that I can take us back to.

:58:16. > :58:51.To the left is the new home of West Ham United from next season, the

:59:18. > :59:22.Then, Sam, Ray. The Invictus Games where a fantastic success, launched

:59:23. > :59:28.by Prince Harry and a huge body of people. The next Invictus Games will

:59:29. > :59:33.be where? Orlando, Florida. Or you could fit in Disney World at the

:59:34. > :59:39.same time? If I get selected! I hope to be picked for cycling and growing

:59:40. > :59:44.-- rowing. Track and powerlifting for me. What has the Invictus Games

:59:45. > :59:49.done for the feeling of community? About it has been amazing, after

:59:50. > :59:53.injury to see how you can go want to do more and more things, and the

:59:54. > :00:05.teamwork from every single nation is phenomenal. Enjoy your mile run,

:00:06. > :00:08.race, however you choose to do it. Dave was one of the founding

:00:09. > :00:13.individuals who drove the Invictus Games. With klaxon in hand, he will

:00:14. > :00:37.get the next wave of athletes and away. Five, four, three, two, one!

:00:38. > :00:47.COMMENTATOR: Invictus is the Latin for unconquered. It says everything

:00:48. > :00:57.about the competitors in this mile. Invitations have already gone out to

:00:58. > :01:00.15 nations to take part in Orlando. The Paralympics style event is

:01:01. > :01:04.definitely here to stay and those behind it deserve a great deal of

:01:05. > :01:08.credit. It is absolutely right that they should be here to help in Sport

:01:09. > :01:15.Relief, and I'm sure they are going to enjoy every minute of this

:01:16. > :01:20.reasonably casual mile, which brings a smile to the face.

:01:21. > :01:25.We thought we'd distract a few more the milers to see if they fancied

:01:26. > :01:46.Would you like to introduce yourselves? We are the Bevan family,

:01:47. > :01:52.Tony, Laura and Georgina. And you are Sherry. Some involvement with

:01:53. > :01:59.Games makers. I haven't been here since 2012, nice to see the venue

:02:00. > :02:04.again. You come back and suddenly, it's got a different vibe

:02:05. > :02:16.completely. A bit colder, for a start! Are we mid-run? You don't

:02:17. > :02:23.know! We have done 40 yards so far, just starting to warm up! Is it

:02:24. > :02:30.right that mum and dad are part of a running club? You are well versed.

:02:31. > :02:35.But are you enjoying it? It is really good fun, I have done five

:02:36. > :02:45.came in the past. You are doing a great job. -- I have done five K. It

:02:46. > :02:55.has been lovely to see you. How much money have you raised? ?120. Keep

:02:56. > :03:00.singing as you go, we will see you later. There are three Evans making

:03:01. > :03:09.up today's Sport Relief Games, the Mile, Cycle and the Swimathon. Time

:03:10. > :03:14.to go to the London Aquatics Centre were Watchdog's Michelle Ackerley

:03:15. > :03:19.has the news. Welcome to the Aquatics Centre, where the Swimathon

:03:20. > :03:23.participants will take the plunge. Many ways to get involved, and

:03:24. > :03:29.swimming is just one of them. These guys behind me are about to swim 1.5

:03:30. > :03:32.kilometres, 30 lengths of this massive pool. Guys, are you excited?

:03:33. > :03:48.Yes! Duncan Goodhew himself. A great

:03:49. > :03:53.atmosphere already. What's going on? It's brilliant, we started early

:03:54. > :04:02.this morning. Over 23,000 swimmers taking part. 600 pools. A lot of

:04:03. > :04:08.swimming going on! Raising well over ?2 million. At the moment, ?1.1

:04:09. > :04:15.million has already come in, so well done, everybody, keep it coming. You

:04:16. > :04:19.seem very calm and relaxed. I just took my time and try to enjoy it,

:04:20. > :04:26.instead of racing. Not often you get to swim in an Olympic venue. Such a

:04:27. > :04:31.treat. She has just finished swimming 1.5 kilometres dressed as a

:04:32. > :04:38.monster. Congratulations! How was it? It was tough with the hat on,

:04:39. > :04:45.slightly warmer than in practice. I am really pleased, and I was under

:04:46. > :04:53.40 minutes. Let me present you with your own medal. You deserve it.

:04:54. > :04:58.Thank you very much! That's it from the Aquatics Centre. I am inspired

:04:59. > :05:07.to put on my swimming cossie and get involved. Some exciting news. We can

:05:08. > :05:12.cross to South Africa live to speak to Nick who is running with Eddie

:05:13. > :05:16.Izzard. Hopefully you can hear us. How is it going? The second

:05:17. > :05:22.marathon, can you ask Eddie how he is feeling?

:05:23. > :05:36.OK, Eddie, how is it all going? 27th marathon. Well... Not brilliantly.

:05:37. > :05:44.77 kilometres, almost 50 miles, today. I have done a marathon this

:05:45. > :05:47.morning. This is my second marathon. Trying to finish... Really

:05:48. > :05:59.difficult. Eddie, we don't want to rush you in

:06:00. > :06:03.any way, shape or form. Goodness me, take every single minute that you

:06:04. > :06:10.can. The aim is to finish this today. We know that, for many years,

:06:11. > :06:14.you have wanted to achieve this. Is there anyway, shape or form you can

:06:15. > :06:19.put into words how it feels to be doing the last few miles?

:06:20. > :06:28.Is there any way you can put into words, after four years of planning,

:06:29. > :06:37.to be doing the last few miles? I can't... I've got... Seven

:06:38. > :06:43.kilometres to go. I can't really think of anything else. We've had

:06:44. > :06:50.some problems today. I'm having to run really fast...

:06:51. > :06:56.What an effort... We are sending you as much love and support as we

:06:57. > :07:01.possibly can, to see you through the rest of your trip. We will keep

:07:02. > :07:06.everybody posted on how you are getting on. Come on, everybody, dig

:07:07. > :07:11.deep. If you haven't donated yet, get behind Eddie and do what you

:07:12. > :07:18.can. This is probably one of the most impressive physical things I

:07:19. > :07:21.have ever seen. It has to be. Really emotional, watching him. You just

:07:22. > :07:26.want to will him on. He looks exhausted, bless him. We will keep

:07:27. > :07:32.you up-to-date with how he is getting on. Quite remarkable. We

:07:33. > :07:35.will now go back to the pool. This sounds ridiculous in comparison to

:07:36. > :07:40.what we have just seen, but after both reaching the final of Strictly

:07:41. > :07:45.last year and failing to lift the glitter ball trophy again, we

:07:46. > :07:47.thought we would give two long-suffering strictly

:07:48. > :07:52.professional, not as long-suffering as Eddie, but one more shot at glory

:07:53. > :07:57.Sport Relief style. We asked Anton du Beke and Kevin Clifton to ditch

:07:58. > :08:03.the dance floor in favour of a giant floating obstacle course. Ladies and

:08:04. > :08:11.gentlemen, boys and girls, it is time to hand over to Ore for

:08:12. > :08:20.stricter come Splashing. It could either be dis-as-tah or a complete

:08:21. > :08:23.fab-u-lous... -- it could either be fab-u-lous or a complete

:08:24. > :08:33.dis-as-tah... Welcome your host, Ore Oduba. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome

:08:34. > :08:38.to the London Aquatics Centre. Forget the Rio Olympics, 2016 is all

:08:39. > :08:42.about the inflatable assault course. We have been joined by some Strictly

:08:43. > :08:50.stars who have ditched the dance off for the splash off. Shall we meet

:08:51. > :09:04.them? Give it up for Kevin Clifton and Anton du Beke.

:09:05. > :09:14.They are overwhelmed. Do you have any idea what you have got

:09:15. > :09:20.yourselves in full? I love sport. And a fake moustache pleases me no

:09:21. > :09:24.end. This is possibly the greatest outfit you have ever worn. Forget

:09:25. > :09:29.Strictly. This is spectacular, Kevin. Can you tell we didn't know

:09:30. > :09:34.what we were doing when we signed up for this? They said, can you swim? I

:09:35. > :09:37.said, a bit. This is what has happened. It is time for you to

:09:38. > :09:49.ditch your hats, take to the stage. Could Anton du Beke and Kevin

:09:50. > :09:53.Clifton please take to the pool. If they come off the course, they can

:09:54. > :09:59.swim to the second. If they come off the second one, straight to the end.

:10:00. > :10:06.Gentlemen, no bombing, no ducking, no heavy petting. Anton du Beke.

:10:07. > :10:21.Anton and Kevin, are you ready? Three, two, one, go!

:10:22. > :10:31.What a grapple to kick off this assault course splash off. Kevin

:10:32. > :10:40.Clifton, a bit of a stumble. Through the chamber, looking pretty good.

:10:41. > :10:45.Anton takes the lead. Down into the water. What a dismount. Ten out of

:10:46. > :10:51.ten. Anton du Beke has the slight advantage as they approach the

:10:52. > :10:54.second inflatable course. Clifton is strong, he is a powerful beast and

:10:55. > :11:01.he is not going to let it lie easily. Off goes Anton du Beke! He

:11:02. > :11:10.was looking so good! Can Kevin stay on? Anton is trying to clamber back

:11:11. > :11:15.on! Kevin Clifton, very carefully, trying to get himself across the

:11:16. > :11:21.assault course. Really trying. Giving it his best shot. The trophy

:11:22. > :11:22.is within touching distance. Kevin, from Grimsby. Kevin Clifton, going

:11:23. > :11:32.for the big jump. Anton du Beke is taking every single

:11:33. > :11:38.minute of this. Enjoying it all the way to the finish. As Kevin uses

:11:39. > :11:51.every sinew to get himself to the finish line. But it is Anton du Beke

:11:52. > :11:58.who is the champion! My goodness me! That is just brilliant. A lovely

:11:59. > :12:05.commando role for good measure. Anton, you have only gone and won. I

:12:06. > :12:10.would concede to a man who actually finished the course. At least a

:12:11. > :12:17.draw, what do you reckon? Let's make it a draw. Karen, you have got what

:12:18. > :12:23.they all want. No glitter balls, we have got our Strictly splash off

:12:24. > :12:30.Trophy, to our joint winners, Kevin Clifton and Anton du Beke.

:12:31. > :12:37.Always the gentle man, isn't he? Congratulations to them both. Coming

:12:38. > :12:44.up, John Bishop brings us an inspiring Sport Relief success

:12:45. > :12:46.story. We have covered James Cracknell's Great Sport Relief Bike

:12:47. > :12:51.Off and Eddie Izzard's marathon efforts, but they are just two other

:12:52. > :12:54.people from the telly who have put themselves to the limits for Sport

:12:55. > :13:03.Relief. And you are one of them. You were out on a with Ore. A whole host

:13:04. > :13:09.of people doing a lot of various things to raise money for Sport

:13:10. > :13:17.Relief. -- you were out on a boat. Thank you if you contributed. Did

:13:18. > :13:25.you struggle more with the boat or the rock? The rock was a solid

:13:26. > :13:30.object, but in the sea, you are against mother nature, so that was a

:13:31. > :13:33.bit more scary. Let's have a look at some of the extraordinary feats that

:13:34. > :13:41.have been accomplished this year for Sport Relief.

:13:42. > :13:43.I'm doing this on behalf of all the portly middle-aged women

:13:44. > :13:49.The water's splashing out over the deck, and it feels

:13:50. > :13:53.Five triathlons in five cities in five days.

:13:54. > :13:57.It's so not normal to do this. Aargh!

:13:58. > :14:03.If I can get to the end of the day, I can rest.

:14:04. > :14:05.57 hours of non-stop five-a-side football,

:14:06. > :14:08.with five stars doing 12-hour stints each.

:14:09. > :14:10.Two legends out there today put their bodies on the line

:14:11. > :14:15.Top of my leg's hurting. Ow!

:14:16. > :14:18.She's in pain, she's tired, but she knows she's got a very,

:14:19. > :14:23.Just a little bit of sensitivity.

:14:24. > :14:28.Here, out in the ocean, you realise just how

:14:29. > :14:35.I don't know how the legs are still going, but they are.

:14:36. > :14:39.The undercarriage is going i-i-in...!

:14:40. > :14:42.I am tired, I did push it, but we got there.

:14:43. > :14:44.This makes it all worth it, it's just beautiful.

:14:45. > :14:49.The battle of the five-a-sides is over.

:14:50. > :14:53.I'm stiff, I'm sore, and I've finished!

:14:54. > :15:05.And we're lucky enough to be joined by two of them now -

:15:06. > :15:14.APPLAUSE We were just talking about seeing

:15:15. > :15:18.Eddie on the telly, what television that is just watching him run the

:15:19. > :15:24.last seven K! I can't believe he has got to where

:15:25. > :15:27.he got to. It is so difficult. Mentally, just awful. He looks

:15:28. > :15:33.exhausted, it is quite uncomfortable watching it. I'm going to lock him

:15:34. > :15:41.up in a room when he gets back and not let him run a marathon 447

:15:42. > :15:45.years. Again. What does he do tomorrow? He will want to do another

:15:46. > :15:49.one. And this is what you were talking about, last week we saw each

:15:50. > :15:55.other in Downing Street for a Sport Relief reception and you said, Greg,

:15:56. > :15:59.after finishing it had quite a big impact on you in terms of you didn't

:16:00. > :16:04.know what to do with yourself, your body felt depleted of everything?

:16:05. > :16:08.When you train for something for a long time and only have that in your

:16:09. > :16:12.head, then you don't plan what you do on Saturday when it finishes, so

:16:13. > :16:21.I got there and the circus had left and there was just a clone quarrying

:16:22. > :16:25.and quivering. -- a cloud. Were you into triathlons beforehand? Did they

:16:26. > :16:29.approach you or did you say you wanted to get fit? I wanted to do a

:16:30. > :16:33.challenge and they put it to me. I said, I have literally asked for it.

:16:34. > :16:38.I wanted to go to all the Sport Relief Games cities, they are not

:16:39. > :16:49.very close, geographically. And travelling overnight. Not easy. We

:16:50. > :16:54.had some footage of you swimming, your legs were just not working when

:16:55. > :17:00.you got out. What event in the day was that? The winds were open water,

:17:01. > :17:06.this was Glasgow on day three. -- the swims were. We had had two

:17:07. > :17:11.triathlons before that, we travelled overnight from Cardiff, had no

:17:12. > :17:15.sleep, had not really eaten enough, straight in the water at 8am. You

:17:16. > :17:20.should not be in that sort of water for that long, it is cold, 4

:17:21. > :17:24.degrees, you start getting hypothermia, I was in there for

:17:25. > :17:29.about 30 minutes or so and it is not a great idea. But it is supposed to

:17:30. > :17:34.be hard and, rest assured, it was hard X formation when you do these

:17:35. > :17:39.challenges, there are highs and lows. Jo we spoke to you on a

:17:40. > :17:43.Wednesday about this, let's go back to the difficult times. That was

:17:44. > :17:48.when you were blown over because of the hurricane. Who would have

:17:49. > :17:56.thought I would get blown over! LAUGHTER

:17:57. > :17:59.When you were on the One Show, we cut to a lorry to show how windy it

:18:00. > :18:07.was. For you... That lorry didn't get

:18:08. > :18:11.blown over, I pushed it over! But for you it was about encouraging

:18:12. > :18:14.people to do something, so to see all the milers that have come around

:18:15. > :18:20.and be sending in all the money they are raising from putting the effort

:18:21. > :18:26.in, that says an enormous amount? I just wanted to be the fat old unfit

:18:27. > :18:31.end of the market. There is a big group watching telly eating cakes,

:18:32. > :18:40.lucky them! I just want that lot to get out and do something. You will

:18:41. > :18:45.definitely have inspired them. Walking, particularly with a group

:18:46. > :18:49.of mates, is great. And the money keeps rolling in because you go on

:18:50. > :19:05.things and talk about them. We have got up to date totals. Greg, you

:19:06. > :19:18.have raised 1,000,040. ?5 from the ex-Commissioner Jo, 1,000,150.

:19:19. > :19:20.Fantastic effort. You can sit down for a while now.

:19:21. > :19:23.Well, no matter who you are or what you've done for this year's

:19:24. > :19:26.Sport Relief - whether you've learnt to sail or held a bake sale,

:19:27. > :19:30.or even run 27 marathons in 27 days - we want to say a huge thank

:19:31. > :19:35.You really are changing people's lives both here in the UK

:19:36. > :19:38.and in some of the world's poorest communities.

:19:39. > :19:41.John Bishop has travelled to Kenya to tell us the difference your money

:19:42. > :19:51.had made to a little girl called Margaret.

:19:52. > :20:00.Last time I came to Kanyai went to this dump site in Nairobi. -- to

:20:01. > :20:04.Kenya. Ten-year-old Margaret had never lived anywhere else. Along

:20:05. > :20:07.with her grandmother she spent every day searching through the rubbish to

:20:08. > :20:17.try to scrape together and existence. What is the best thing

:20:18. > :20:20.you have ever found? Rice, as food. Rice? The best thing you have ever

:20:21. > :20:29.found? Year. Back then, it seemed that

:20:30. > :20:33.there was no way out. But thanks to your generosity, their lives have

:20:34. > :20:41.changed beyond compare. I went back to Kenya to see the change from

:20:42. > :20:46.myself. Young Margaret is now going to

:25:10. > :25:16.about 130 miles, three legged, you have survived, my knee is completely

:25:17. > :25:21.shot. I have heard it was technically a difficult challenge.

:25:22. > :25:25.Tell us about the how and why on earth. You seem like rational

:36:29. > :36:30.Perhaps not as hurtful as the first part of this sketch for any England

:38:36. > :38:38.Why can't England win something? No, I mean something that people

:38:39. > :38:41.actually care about. You want the England

:38:42. > :38:44.footie team to be as successful as the England cricket

:38:45. > :38:48.team - you've got to use foreigners. We use players from

:38:50. > :38:53.in Papua New Guinea. Shut up!

:38:54. > :38:58.You're as English as fish and chips. As soon as I touched

:40:16. > :40:18.you is you can't waste all that talent playing for Wales

:40:19. > :40:20.like Ryan Giggs did. You're playing with part-timers,

:40:21. > :40:26.footballers who are working down Cobblers and milkmen.

:40:27. > :40:31.You are Gareth Bale. Think how many more

:40:32. > :40:33.goals you would score if you were being set up

:40:34. > :40:36.by Sterling and the Roon-dog. Those puppies aren't

:41:40. > :41:57.I got to tell you - I will never,

:41:58. > :41:59.ever play football for England. When you left Spurs,

:42:00. > :42:04.you became a hero of mine. Look, there's a very easy way

:42:05. > :42:11.to get me to play for your team. I've never heard anything more

:45:05. > :45:14.Good singing! It was fun birthday when he came into the studio. We are

:45:15. > :45:16.sticking with a football theme. And thankfully for this next event

:45:17. > :45:18.nationality isn't important. And neither is skill,

:45:19. > :45:21.talent nor ability for that matter. It's time to hand over to Dan Walker

:45:53. > :45:57.world medallist, he is an awe-inspiring rowing legend, Sir

:45:58. > :46:02.Steve Redgrave. Swapping the bowl for the goal, former England cricket

:46:03. > :46:07.captain, the one and only Freddie Flintoff! Steve, Freddie, why have

:46:08. > :46:12.you let yourself into this? It was about a month ago and they said,

:46:13. > :46:16.would you to do it? I said OK, then I saw the goal and the turf I

:46:17. > :46:23.thought, what is that doing here? And I thought, oh, I said I would do

:46:24. > :46:29.it! I don't know why. Freddie, you are a natural sportsman, what is the

:46:30. > :46:33.footballing talent like? I played for Preston as a kid, but anyone

:46:34. > :46:40.could have when I was young! I have seen people do this before, it is

:46:41. > :46:45.just spinning and kicking! That easy? We will find out. As you are

:46:46. > :46:49.the younger man, we will let Freddie Flintoff go first. Don't walk off, I

:46:50. > :46:56.will explain the rules. Pay attention. You have to get the ball

:46:57. > :47:01.in the goal. It sounds simple. You have to run and spin around that

:47:02. > :47:06.football 13 times. Once you have dinner at 13 times you can kick the

:47:07. > :47:09.second football. If you don't complete 13 revolutions and fall

:47:10. > :47:14.over, you had to get back and finish it off. Once you add in fitting,

:47:15. > :47:18.kick the ball, if it goes in or near, great, one of you will be

:47:19. > :47:24.walking away with the Sport Relief Dizzy Penalty trophy. Look how

:47:25. > :47:30.excited they both look. Freddie, if you are ready, hand on the ball at

:47:31. > :47:31.all times, ready for the whistle. It doesn't mean a thing if you ain't

:47:32. > :47:46.got that spin! Three, two, one! # You spin my head right round,

:47:47. > :47:57.right round # When you go down...

:47:58. > :48:02.I take back all I said about you being naturally gifted. What went

:48:03. > :48:07.wrong? I take back what I said, it is quite hard. My legs were going

:48:08. > :48:12.all over the place, my head was spinning. Ladies and gentlemen,

:48:13. > :48:20.Freddie Flintoff! Get in position, Redgrave. Three, two, one!

:48:21. > :48:29.# I'm spinning around, move out of my way...

:48:30. > :48:50.Whenever you are ready! Yes! Flintoff has gone. Congratulations,

:48:51. > :48:54.Steve. Unbelievable scenes. You nearly walked off. Don't go. Surely

:48:55. > :48:59.you want to celebrate a magical moment for everyone? He did well,

:49:00. > :49:02.but some of the reviews I was getting coming he had to keep

:49:03. > :49:12.pulling his pants up. That was not good. Can you give over this no

:49:13. > :49:18.expense spared Trophy. Steve Redgrave, the Dizzy Penalties Sport

:49:19. > :49:24.Relief champion. Compulsive viewing! We should run

:49:25. > :49:25.around the sofa 13 times and then carry on.

:49:26. > :49:27.Forget the Ashes or five consecutive Olympic golds -

:49:28. > :49:30.that trophy is surely the greatest prize they've ever contested.

:49:31. > :49:37.From one Sport Relief contest to another now.

:49:38. > :49:39.Earlier this year there were tears, tantrums and tiramisus

:49:40. > :49:42.as a new batch of celebrities turned their hands to baking in aid

:49:43. > :49:46.So it's time to put your feet up, rest your bottoms -

:49:47. > :49:49.soggy or otherwise - and enjoy the very best bits of this

:49:50. > :50:00.Welcome to the Great Sport Relief Bake Off. They are all giving it a

:50:01. > :50:07.go, it is something they have never done before. Major disaster. O

:50:08. > :50:18.wonder it is Sport Relief, I am knackered. Eight bananas. Who has

:50:19. > :50:25.the best kitchen? Downing Street. That is a fantastic sponge, one of

:50:26. > :50:31.the best ones I have had this year. That's all right. The Sport Relief

:50:32. > :50:42.star baker today, Jerry. Samantha Cameron. Kimberly.

:50:43. > :50:45.It makes you feel terribly hungry. That is why it works so well, you do

:50:46. > :50:53.your running and then you eat afterwards. Navy we should go 40 and

:50:54. > :50:55.cake after this. -- maybe we should go for tea and cake.

:50:56. > :50:58.Time now for our last trip across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

:50:59. > :51:00.as we head back to Michelle Ackerley, who has all the details

:51:01. > :51:07.I am at the Lee Valley VeloPark, home to the Sport Relief Cycle.

:51:08. > :51:12.These brave souls are about to embark on a 25 mile course, raising

:51:13. > :51:20.money for the fantastic causes supported by Sport Relief.

:51:21. > :51:25.With me is actress Laura Mayne, what has inspired you? I think it is

:51:26. > :51:30.great to be part of something collective. When the whole nation

:51:31. > :51:33.comes together, whether it is watching the TV and donating or

:51:34. > :51:38.getting involved in one of these events, you can run, you can walk

:51:39. > :51:42.one-mile and just be active and do something for Sport Relief, helping

:51:43. > :51:47.vulnerable people in this country and in some of the world 's poorest

:51:48. > :51:52.communities. I like to raise money by doing

:51:53. > :51:56.something. It's nice going to dinners and things, but to get out

:51:57. > :52:01.and do something, running, cycling, skiing, anything, if it is to do

:52:02. > :52:04.with sport, I love it. How did you prepare? I did some cycling last

:52:05. > :52:16.year! We have got Theo and Ripley, about

:52:17. > :52:20.to start with mum and dad. Why are you getting involved? The kids love

:52:21. > :52:27.it, we love going to the Olympic centre and the kids did the Sport

:52:28. > :52:30.Relief Mile during the week, so they are all in the Sport Relief way.

:52:31. > :52:36.Fantastic. That is it from us at the Lee Valley

:52:37. > :52:39.VeloPark, thanks to everyone who has taken part today. Time for me to get

:52:40. > :52:43.on my bike and do my bit. See you! She was swimming earlier, very busy

:52:44. > :52:49.lady! And of course, thank

:52:50. > :52:52.you to all of you who've got on your bikes for

:52:53. > :52:54.Sport Relief today. And if you've been part

:52:55. > :52:56.of the Cycle today - or any other event -

:52:57. > :52:59.please don't forget to pay in all that hard earned

:53:00. > :53:00.sponsorship money. They are still going, I can't

:53:01. > :53:02.believe it! We will have a total very soon. It

:53:03. > :53:11.has gone up considerably today. But there's time for one last

:53:12. > :53:15.jaunt across the UK. So it's off to sunny,

:53:16. > :53:18.sunny Cardiff now, where local lad and former Olympian Christian

:53:19. > :53:28.Malcolm has been enjoying the fun. Welcome to Cardiff, the weather is

:53:29. > :53:34.great, not too hot, not too cold, there are athletes of all ages ready

:53:35. > :53:40.to do a mile, three miles or maybe even six. Let the show commence. It

:53:41. > :53:44.is fun, it is easy to turn up and enjoy yourself, everyone has come

:53:45. > :53:49.here to raise money, it is about having fun and participating. We are

:53:50. > :53:55.Cardiff University ladies Cricket club, year to run one mile in full

:53:56. > :54:00.cricket gear. I normally walk the dog about a

:54:01. > :54:07.similar distance, so I thought, I am sure I can do this. Little man has

:54:08. > :54:11.fallen asleep on your shoulder. I think he is overcome with

:54:12. > :54:17.excitement. Another fantastic event in Cardiff. People of all ages,

:54:18. > :54:21.families out and about. It is good to see people getting fit and it has

:54:22. > :54:28.encouraged me to try next time. You never know! It is just kicking

:54:29. > :54:32.off all over the UK, it has been great. The energy and the effort,

:54:33. > :54:38.culminating this afternoon. We have John and Barry. Did you enjoy your

:54:39. > :54:45.time in the cupboard? You should try it sometime, I recommended. It is a

:54:46. > :54:50.bit like God and the Gopher? No, John, you have been at the start

:54:51. > :54:57.line, people doing everything they can -- Gordon the Gopher. Just the

:54:58. > :55:03.number of people, the youngest I saw was three and the oldest 83,

:55:04. > :55:08.fantastic. I mentioned a family, a young girl who is a huge fan of

:55:09. > :55:14.Danny Dyer, they drove down from Morecambe this morning at five M to

:55:15. > :55:20.meet him, did photos, had a chat, they are driving back now -- at

:55:21. > :55:27.five. They raised a lot of money for Sport Relief, she has met her hero

:55:28. > :55:33.and is very happy. Danny Dyer film was very powerful. It really got

:55:34. > :55:36.you. They said they were so touched by seeing it on Friday that they

:55:37. > :55:41.made the decision to leave the Lancashire coast to come down, that

:55:42. > :55:47.is a long way. There was a wonderful lady who was just here, she has MS,

:55:48. > :55:51.she was going around with a stool, she was going as far as she could,

:55:52. > :56:00.taking as much time she needed to replenish her energy carry on. Just

:56:01. > :56:04.put the effort in, that is it. You have not got your trainers on,

:56:05. > :56:10.Barry. I was not given an opportunity. We have parked your

:56:11. > :56:19.taxi mile away! You will have to do it!

:56:20. > :56:23.We have been watching these remarkable efforts from Eddie

:56:24. > :56:30.Izzard, we think he is coming down the final straight. Here he is in

:56:31. > :56:37.Pretoria. He has done 27 marathons. Just to remind you, he has done two

:56:38. > :56:49.today. Let's get behind Eddie. This is your final chance to donate.

:56:50. > :56:56.Texts will cost your donation plus your standard

:56:57. > :56:59.All of your donation will go to Sport Relief.

:57:00. > :57:02.You must be 16 or over, and please ask the bill payer's permission.

:57:03. > :57:05.For full terms and conditions or to donate online go

:57:06. > :57:12.to bbc.co.uk/sportrelief And here you'll also be able to find

:57:13. > :57:18.Surely there will be a big finishing line or something somewhere? He

:57:19. > :57:23.seems to be just winding his way around a park. We think there are

:57:24. > :57:28.two flights of stairs and then this is the end, that is what we think.

:57:29. > :57:34.We will try to stay on these pictures. This has just been

:57:35. > :57:46.incredible. Barry, how do these scenes compared? Where is he? He is

:57:47. > :57:53.winding his way around. I think he is behind the tree. I have no idea.

:57:54. > :57:57.It has been a fantastic year for the Sainsbury's Sport Relief Games.

:57:58. > :58:01.Whether you had taken part in the mile, Swimathon or cycle or donated

:58:02. > :58:06.from home, you have made a difference. The very latest total

:58:07. > :58:12.raced across the weekend for Sport Relief 2016 can be revealed. --

:58:13. > :58:24.total raised. You have raised a phenomenal

:58:25. > :58:29.56,000,830. And here is Eddie! Look at him! He is still running!

:58:30. > :58:39.Remarkable! He must be getting a burst of energy. One set of steps

:58:40. > :58:45.left. Here he comes! Go on, Eddie! Fantastic that we have these

:58:46. > :58:51.pictures. After doing two marathons today, and 27, to finish with two

:58:52. > :59:03.flights of stairs seems too painful, but this is it! He has done it!

:59:04. > :59:08.Amazing! Eddie Izzard has just completed 27 marathons in 27 days.

:59:09. > :59:21.REPORTER: Eddie, how are you feeling? Water. Water, water. You

:59:22. > :59:30.are live on BBC One. Well done. How on earth did you make it? We have to

:59:31. > :59:34.let Eddie recover. What an achievement. Absolutely brilliant.

:59:35. > :59:38.Thank you to all at home for watching and supporting Sport Relief

:59:39. > :59:45.this evening. It has been a fantastic effort. Thank you, John

:59:46. > :59:46.and Barry, but thanks to everybody for all of your efforts. Thank you
