:00:10. > :00:19.This could be something quite sensational... Right out of the top

:00:20. > :00:27.draw. It's stunning! An absolute beauty! Oh, yes!

:00:28. > :00:36.Oh, it's unbelievable, unbelievable! What a finish. Right here, right

:00:37. > :00:45.now, this is history. Well, on Sportscene tonight, the

:00:46. > :00:51.title fight, the relegation fight, and the actual fight at New Douglas

:00:52. > :00:55.Park. Knockout blows for us as Steven Thompson and Michael Stewart.

:00:56. > :01:00.Only one place to start tonight, Tynecastle Stadium. Celtic with a

:01:01. > :01:03.chance to seal the title in the Edinburgh sunshine. Would heart

:01:04. > :01:10.spoil the party? Rob Maclean was watching. The hearts midfielder has

:01:11. > :01:19.picked up a knock which rules him out of this. Kitchen coming in and

:01:20. > :01:23.taking by Captain's armband. Celtic are without injured top scorer Mousa

:01:24. > :01:28.Dembele. And Leigh Griffiths has a back problem after playing for

:01:29. > :01:30.Scotland. Patrick Roberts slots in as the champions elect to do a

:01:31. > :01:43.reshuffle. Cutting inside! Good effort. He gets

:01:44. > :01:54.there just in front of you and Johnson. -- but Johnson. The shot

:01:55. > :02:02.was not quite wide enough of Gordon. He found the corner of the net.

:02:03. > :02:16.Winning the battle against Brown. It's Gonzalez! Another important

:02:17. > :02:23.stop from Craig Gordon, and another big chance for the striker. It found

:02:24. > :02:34.its way through. The Celtic goalkeeper made the save. Down at

:02:35. > :02:38.the other end, Sinclair... Callum McGregor, what is! A glaring

:02:39. > :02:50.opportunity. McGregor should surely have been ... But he slices it wide

:02:51. > :02:56.-- what a miss. The corner floated to the back post. A downward header.

:02:57. > :03:02.It's another save for Craig Gordon. He has been busy. The downward

:03:03. > :03:09.header. And Walker tried to divert it into goal.

:03:10. > :03:21.Driving forward, Kieran Tierney. Looking to work a 1-2. Roberts! What

:03:22. > :03:27.a finish from Scott Sinclair. He said, let's get the title party

:03:28. > :03:33.started! Three games against hearts this season. That is his fourth goal

:03:34. > :03:38.against the Tynecastle team. What a finish! It is 19 for the season for

:03:39. > :03:47.Sinckler. And Hamilton wasn't stopping this. Celtic have the big

:03:48. > :03:56.breakthrough. That's Lustig. And Patrick Roberts! Sinclair is in

:03:57. > :04:05.again! And scores again! Make that 24 the season for Scotland are. --

:04:06. > :04:13.20 four this season for Scott Sinckler. Again, Hearts are sliced

:04:14. > :04:19.open. Add the finishing from Sinclair is a clinical. You just

:04:20. > :04:24.know that he's not going to miss. It's 2-0. Three minutes left of the

:04:25. > :04:33.first half at Tynecastle. The Scott Sinclair story continues. Cowie

:04:34. > :04:35.looking for a penalty. No joy. Hearts were screaming to get the

:04:36. > :04:47.benefits of the decision here. Jack Hamilton's clearance goes

:04:48. > :04:57.straight to Callum McGregor. This could be trouble. It's Forest! It is

:04:58. > :05:06.going to go in. It's an own goal. And it is 3-0. That is not going to

:05:07. > :05:16.count. The offside flag has gone up. And a third goal. Dick is ruled out.

:05:17. > :05:19.Much to the relief -- a third goal for Celtic is ruled out. Much to the

:05:20. > :05:25.relief of Jack Hamilton, whose clearance led to all this. Poor pass

:05:26. > :05:32.from Hamilton. The position back to Celtic. They don't need too much

:05:33. > :05:39.assistance. In front here. That's Armstrong, that's number three! --

:05:40. > :05:46.in from Tierney. Stuart Armstrong's glorious season continues as he

:05:47. > :05:49.removes any doubt, let the party, and is! The 13th of the campaign for

:05:50. > :05:57.the newly capped Scotland midfielder.

:05:58. > :06:07.Novak gives it away to McGregor. It's Patrick Roberts! It's

:06:08. > :06:15.brilliant! It just gets better and better for Celtic. Some things

:06:16. > :06:21.special -- something special gives them their fourth goal. A finish

:06:22. > :06:27.right out of the top draw. This curling shot from Roberts explodes

:06:28. > :06:33.into the top corner. Lofted pass towards Tierney. Now Sinclair,

:06:34. > :06:39.looking for the hat-trick. Scott Sinclair! Penalty given. And the

:06:40. > :06:43.chance for number five. Sinckler with the darting run into the box,

:06:44. > :06:47.and he's taken out by Christian Novak.

:06:48. > :06:58.It's Sinclair! And it's a glorious trouble for Scott Sinclair. And it's

:06:59. > :07:06.a famous five goals for Celtic as they crossed the title finishing

:07:07. > :07:12.line. It is his 21st Celtic goal. The hat-trick hero put some icing on

:07:13. > :07:21.the take. The closing moments as Brendan Rodgers and Celtic do it in

:07:22. > :07:32.style. They have won Mike the Ladbrokes Premiership by a country

:07:33. > :07:39.mile. Final score, 5-0 to Celtic. It also that Tynecastle for Celtic back

:07:40. > :07:42.in August. That 2-1 win, that they but goal for Scott Sinclair. Brendan

:07:43. > :07:51.Rodgers' team have not looked back in the eight months since. They have

:07:52. > :07:56.blown away the opposition. Champions again, with still eight Premiership

:07:57. > :08:01.games to go. And already the Celtic manager will be thinking about what

:08:02. > :08:06.happens next. We knew it was going to be a tough game for us today. The

:08:07. > :08:11.style and the intensity with which we played was admirable, really. To

:08:12. > :08:14.win a pressure game like that as convincingly as we did was a

:08:15. > :08:20.remarkable achievement by the players. A bit of a work in

:08:21. > :08:24.progress. I think Celtic on the you know, we have shown that when we

:08:25. > :08:29.choose to go, that we can do that and we can compete. Of course there

:08:30. > :08:34.differences. But no way does the scoreline reflect the chance that

:08:35. > :08:39.they have. Scott, you have been involved in many a Celtic squad. How

:08:40. > :08:43.does this one compare? Absolutely top-notch. We have got some great

:08:44. > :08:46.players. The gaffer has brought belief back into everybody. We would

:08:47. > :08:51.as appointing last season but this season we have really pushed on in

:08:52. > :08:55.the Champions League, it started from there, and then good

:08:56. > :09:00.performances in the league. For me, I think most coaches, you are more

:09:01. > :09:03.pleased that everyone else. But of course, you know, I'm absolutely

:09:04. > :09:07.delighted just to see that relationship between training and

:09:08. > :09:12.games and obviously I'm really, really happy, I'm more happy for the

:09:13. > :09:16.players and everyone else. Huge congratulations to Celtic on their

:09:17. > :09:20.title victory. These were the scenes in the dressing room. They are

:09:21. > :09:27.certainly enjoying themselves. Toure in particular, as you can see! They

:09:28. > :09:31.certainly deserve it. These were the scenes at Celtic Park, the Celtic

:09:32. > :09:39.fans turned out in force to pay all their heroes. -- to hail their

:09:40. > :09:46.heroes. Four more to go and we get home in a row! What has been the

:09:47. > :09:54.secret behind the success? Brandon. Absolutely fantastic manager. Scott

:09:55. > :09:57.Sinclair, Stuart Armstrong. There Wiggo, six in a row. Ecstatic, so,

:09:58. > :10:10.so happy -- we go. Fantastic day for those Celtic fans

:10:11. > :10:13.and for that Celtic team as well at Tynecastle. The team that started

:10:14. > :10:19.about Mousa Dembele and Leigh Griffiths due to injury. A mate of

:10:20. > :10:24.strikeforce of Patrick Roberts -- a makeshift strikeforce. Sinclair and

:10:25. > :10:28.Roberts more than stepped up to the mark. They played together almost as

:10:29. > :10:32.if they have been playing together as a front pairing all season. They

:10:33. > :10:36.drifted a lot and got into good areas, but they combined for the

:10:37. > :10:40.first goal and the second. This is a number leave and will finish from

:10:41. > :10:45.Scott Sinclair. It must have been over 100 mph. You know, incredible

:10:46. > :10:50.finishing. Look at this from Roberts. Such clever play. Dragging

:10:51. > :10:54.the defenders shot. Only one thing was going to happen when he was

:10:55. > :10:58.one-on-one with the goalkeeper. A fantastic start for Celtic. Hearts

:10:59. > :11:02.were in it for the first ten or 15 minutes, they started well. But they

:11:03. > :11:07.shot themselves in the foot. This is just a sublime bit of quality from

:11:08. > :11:12.Patrick Roberts. The thing that struck me was that they didn't play

:11:13. > :11:17.like normal, you know, number nine strikers. They are that type of

:11:18. > :11:20.player. But causes a lot of problems, drifting in areas,

:11:21. > :11:25.dropping short. The first couple of goals, they are running from deep in

:11:26. > :11:29.the Hearts' fence. They didn't know how to handle them, they were real

:11:30. > :11:33.handle today. Also talent in the dugout as well. How big a success

:11:34. > :11:39.has Brendan Rodgers made of this job? A massive success. The players

:11:40. > :11:42.love playing for him. He demands standards and professionalism. For

:11:43. > :11:46.me, his man management stood out. The fact he has got players playing

:11:47. > :11:54.who were not hitting the form last year but he turned them around, like

:11:55. > :11:56.Stuart Armstrong, Forest, Brown has been incredible. He has brought a

:11:57. > :11:59.spirit and a winning man Tahti. But the job is not done, you got that

:12:00. > :12:05.message from him -- winning mentality. He knows there is still

:12:06. > :12:08.work to do. Does he stay at Celtic for years to come? I definitely

:12:09. > :12:13.think he is enjoying it. I wouldn't imagine he is going to be away any

:12:14. > :12:17.time soon. He has still got goals on the horizon, that is the big thing

:12:18. > :12:21.that he has changed at Celtic, that has been the mentality. He has

:12:22. > :12:24.revived the players because of the mentality, he has got them engaged

:12:25. > :12:28.now. I don't think anybody can suggest other than a massive

:12:29. > :12:39.appointment and the huge success. It. One of the players that he has

:12:40. > :12:41.revived the career of is Stuart Armstrong, possibly contender for

:12:42. > :12:44.Player of the Season. I wouldn't say he has revived his career, you has

:12:45. > :12:46.moved him on. He improved him immensely. The first couple of

:12:47. > :12:49.seasons he was finding his feet. From that point on, you can see

:12:50. > :12:54.clips from a couple of months into it, he has just been improving all

:12:55. > :12:57.the time. This is a wonderful free kick, he whips it around. You think

:12:58. > :13:03.it is going to cross the other side. He is becoming a a mainstay of the

:13:04. > :13:08.team. He has real ability, scoring with his left. You see him there

:13:09. > :13:13.against Firmino when he came on for Scotland. He became, you know, the

:13:14. > :13:17.best you have heard. I think he has now found that position where he can

:13:18. > :13:20.dictate games. He did it for Scotland, dropped a bit deeper and

:13:21. > :13:24.kicked on from there. He has done that for Celtic in the last five or

:13:25. > :13:34.six months and he is definitely a contender for Player of the Season.

:13:35. > :13:36.Absolutely. Plenty of contenders within that Celtic side. Scott

:13:37. > :13:39.Sinclair always proving his worth. Mousa Dembele, what a season he has

:13:40. > :13:43.had. Such a contribution. If young player to come in and handle the

:13:44. > :13:47.pressure of being a strike of the Celtic, he has been incredible, he

:13:48. > :13:52.can score all sorts of goals. Celtic got this guy for ?500,000. Think

:13:53. > :13:56.what he must be worth now. He is an outstanding talent. Just one of the

:13:57. > :13:59.number of Celtic players who have had an outstanding season. This is

:14:00. > :14:03.the goal of the season, incidentally. He is also a player

:14:04. > :14:06.that I would suggest Brendan Rodgers has improved as well. Over the

:14:07. > :14:13.course of the season he has continued to improve. I think he has

:14:14. > :14:15.brought into what Brendan Rodgers is trying to do. You can see when he

:14:16. > :14:18.scored a hat-trick against Rangers, from that point on I think he has

:14:19. > :14:21.actually physically become a bigger player as well. If you had to choose

:14:22. > :14:28.right now, who is the Player of the Season? None of them! Yeah, right! I

:14:29. > :14:32.think Sinclair might get it but all three of them are candidates. In

:14:33. > :14:36.terms of Hearts, not a great day for them. It wasn't really going to be

:14:37. > :14:39.their day the way that Celtic were going. Sometimes a picture paints a

:14:40. > :14:46.thousand words, doesn't it? It's not a great one. It is a look of

:14:47. > :14:49.disdain, for me. Is not a look of respect, that's for sure. He had had

:14:50. > :14:55.a good game, I'm surprised he got taken off, he was one of heart' is

:14:56. > :15:00.players. Hearts or at a junction. It looks like their season cannot

:15:01. > :15:04.finish quick enough for them. With that only just happening in January,

:15:05. > :15:09.there is a lot of question marks hanging over Hearts. Initially it

:15:10. > :15:12.looked like there was clear ideas but now they look to be struggling,

:15:13. > :15:16.they don't look to have any direction about what it is they are

:15:17. > :15:21.trying to do. It's a bit concerning. There were second in the table when

:15:22. > :15:24.they came in. They are down to fifth. Partick Thistle or only four

:15:25. > :15:28.points behind them in fifth, that's not good enough for Hearts. Ian

:15:29. > :15:32.Castle talks about Hearts being a work in progress, they were second

:15:33. > :15:36.in the table. They have a big game mid week against St Johnstone. If

:15:37. > :15:40.they beat them they can go back into fourth. What happens at Hearts to

:15:41. > :15:44.get things moving in the right direction? I look at the overall

:15:45. > :15:48.picture and I keep saying, teams are representative of the management.

:15:49. > :15:51.There is plenty of talent in the team and the management structure,

:15:52. > :15:55.but both black leadership and direction, and I think that for me,

:15:56. > :16:03.Ian Castle is a coach and not a manager -- both lack leadership.

:16:04. > :16:07.Douglas Park, or so -- super Seal Stadium if you prefer that, think

:16:08. > :16:11.Johnson looking to strengthen their hold on fourth place and widen the

:16:12. > :16:17.gap on Hearts. John Barnes was watching. Gary Woods is injured, so

:16:18. > :16:25.Remy Matthews takes his place in goal.

:16:26. > :16:31.St Johnstone make two changes. Goalkeeper Alan Mannus starts in

:16:32. > :16:35.preference to Zander Clark. And Stephen McClane misses out as he

:16:36. > :16:40.won't be risked on an artificial surface.

:16:41. > :16:56.Doherty linking with bin. -- with Bing. Emre Can the follow-up. A good

:16:57. > :16:59.save by Alan Mannus. Hamilton on this run of two wins in the last 19

:17:00. > :17:09.league games. The challenge by Murray Davidson,

:17:10. > :17:21.who did get a little flick and managed to deflect it. This last set

:17:22. > :17:26.piece of the half. Devlin cannot get on the end of it, neither can Cyrus.

:17:27. > :17:31.An incident here in full think Richard Foster and Danny Swanson.

:17:32. > :17:41.The two St Johnstone players involved in a fight. Forster is

:17:42. > :17:50.being restrained. The kit man holds back Danny Swanson. Tommy Wright

:17:51. > :17:56.looking to have a word with the officials. He will need to find out

:17:57. > :18:02.exactly what happened there. So, St Johnstone down to nine men. Foster

:18:03. > :18:13.and Swanson were red carded at the interval. Emre taking his

:18:14. > :18:21.frustration out on the post. On the half volley, a difficult one to

:18:22. > :18:29.take. They are battling hard with the nine men. Murray Davidson and

:18:30. > :18:33.Cyrus crashing there is that free kick was being delivered. The

:18:34. > :18:46.referee has given the free kick against Davidson. He runs into

:18:47. > :18:53.Cyrus. It's like a wrestling bout. Loads of possession for second Mac.

:18:54. > :18:59.Here is McMahon. Devlin. Good curling effort. Alan Mannus kept his

:19:00. > :19:04.eye on that one to deny the Accies captain. Maybe didn't have enough

:19:05. > :19:16.power, but he certainly had the curl. Here is the substitute,

:19:17. > :19:21.Redmond. He really should have hit the target there. The St Johnstone

:19:22. > :19:22.players are just throwing their bodies in front of everything at the

:19:23. > :19:36.moment. Cleared away. Danny Mac in and is

:19:37. > :19:41.claiming for something inside the box. McMahon. An exchange of passes

:19:42. > :19:44.with Emre. Crawford! Brilliant save from Alan Mannus. Turning that one

:19:45. > :20:04.away. Outstanding goalkeeping. Crawford again, in towards Redmond.

:20:05. > :20:08.We are inside the final minute. It's Alex D'Acol! They got the

:20:09. > :20:15.breakthrough after all. Hamilton acquis is against the nine men of St

:20:16. > :20:19.Johnstone -- Hamilton Accies. That with his eighth goal of the season,

:20:20. > :20:26.and it may well prove so vital in Accies's efforts to maintain their

:20:27. > :20:31.Premiership status. One touch to control and want to bury it. We

:20:32. > :20:35.managed to get a win, a huge three points for us. Obviously the

:20:36. > :20:39.half-time scenes, I haven't seen anything back yet, but you don't

:20:40. > :20:42.want to see that. Obviously it's a passionate game and things can spill

:20:43. > :20:49.over and obviously it has done today. But for us it is about a huge

:20:50. > :20:54.three points. We should be celebrating getting to top six and

:20:55. > :20:57.increasing our lead over Hearts but we are not. We're talking about an

:20:58. > :21:02.incident that I haven't seen yet with my own eyes, but I will do. The

:21:03. > :21:06.players don't know that -- the players do know that on no uncertain

:21:07. > :21:11.terms the hardest punishment I will do legally with them, I will do it.

:21:12. > :21:15.The battle of New Douglas Park come quite astonishing scenes. I was

:21:16. > :21:21.there yesterday. Unfortunately the TV cameras and photographers missed

:21:22. > :21:26.the key incident, a verbal exchange between Richard Foster and Danny

:21:27. > :21:29.Swanson, which ended up, Stephen, being an exchange of blows, ugly

:21:30. > :21:33.scenes to end up with. There is no doubt the players have let

:21:34. > :21:35.themselves on the club down. And more importantly their team-mates

:21:36. > :21:40.down, because they went on to lose the game. It also ordered from what

:21:41. > :21:43.seemed like a bit of a shouting match on the pitch. Danny Swans and

:21:44. > :21:47.doesn't hold the ball up, he is cold, Richard Foster shouts at him.

:21:48. > :21:55.There is a bit of a niggle between the two of them. That's this is

:21:56. > :22:00.right on the stroke of half-time. This is where the incident is taking

:22:01. > :22:04.place at this moment in time. The cameras followed the ball. The

:22:05. > :22:09.referee doesn't see the incident because he is looking at picking the

:22:10. > :22:12.ball up. He is running to try and separate the players. They have now

:22:13. > :22:17.been separated, and you can see obviously Richard Foster is

:22:18. > :22:22.completely and utterly furious. The thing about all of this, you can see

:22:23. > :22:27.people coming and getting involved, you don't need to get involved. The

:22:28. > :22:30.big thing about all of this is that in a modern day society when

:22:31. > :22:33.everything is photographed and video, there isn't anything of this

:22:34. > :22:37.incident. It could perhaps be the best thing that has ever happened to

:22:38. > :22:43.dummies once an average of Foster, because you heard Tommy Wright

:22:44. > :22:47.saying that -- to damage Swanson. He said that the harshest legal

:22:48. > :22:53.punishment he can hand out, he will do it. If he is in that position...

:22:54. > :22:58.They can expect a very hefty fines. The big problem here is, he is going

:22:59. > :23:03.to have an internal investigation, which is what they spoke about after

:23:04. > :23:06.the game. The problem is that if there is no video footage it is

:23:07. > :23:09.going to have to come down to the words of team-mates, the guys who

:23:10. > :23:12.saw the incident, that is a difficult position for team-mates to

:23:13. > :23:18.potentially put their fellow comrades in a position where it is,

:23:19. > :23:22.you know, it is their career. It is going to be a fraught week at St

:23:23. > :23:25.Johnstone. We understand the investigation will stop in earnest

:23:26. > :23:30.tomorrow. How worried should these players before the next seven days?

:23:31. > :23:33.They should be worried about how much they have let the club down. I

:23:34. > :23:37.think just find them the maximum amount and try to move on from the

:23:38. > :23:47.situation. It depends what the referee's report for the SFA. If you

:23:48. > :23:55.can't look at footage of it... The fact there is not any footage is

:23:56. > :23:58.going to be a huge saviour for them. Imagine how much the footage would

:23:59. > :24:03.be getting shown now if it was there. Hysteria would build up.

:24:04. > :24:08.Tommy Wright will hand out a very severe punishment. The fact there is

:24:09. > :24:15.not any footage is what will save them. It is a huge, huge three point

:24:16. > :24:19.one Hamilton Accies. A massive loss was in Johnson. At this stage of the

:24:20. > :24:25.season, with Hamilton right at the bottom, you can see Alex D'Acol

:24:26. > :24:28.unmarked in the six yard box. Terrible defending, they had

:24:29. > :24:33.defended well for that 45 minutes, to lose it right at the end there?

:24:34. > :24:39.Huge Hamilton. Massive full St Johnstone. They should have been

:24:40. > :24:43.looking to stretch that lead on Hearts in fourth. And unfortunately

:24:44. > :24:47.they could have been even getting close to Rangers. Now everything

:24:48. > :25:00.else is a bigger story. We're off to Ibrox next. They face a Motherwell

:25:01. > :25:03.side deep in the relegation mud. Captain Lee Wallace had suffered

:25:04. > :25:09.illness in the lead up to the game. James Cavani was suspended. But they

:25:10. > :25:13.do welcome back Rob Kinnon following a ban. Stephen Robinson is making

:25:14. > :25:16.his just second selection since taking the manager job in a

:25:17. > :25:28.full-time basis. Eliot Freedman making good progress

:25:29. > :25:33.down the left-hand side. He is faced by Hodson, who does his job and

:25:34. > :25:37.blocks for Motherwell. Motherwell have a corner and Rangers find

:25:38. > :25:44.themselves in 11 points behind Aberdeen in the race for second

:25:45. > :25:49.place. Chris cabin to take the inswinging corner for Motherwell.

:25:50. > :25:54.Oh, there's Louis Moulds! And that has gone in! Motherwell have the

:25:55. > :25:58.lead inside three minutes! Millimoles has scored once again.

:25:59. > :26:07.Where on earth was the marking -- the win Moulds. For the first time

:26:08. > :26:13.this season it is Motherwell who opened the scoring at Ibrox.

:26:14. > :26:19.It's a lovely pass to get wired Corning, who goes down. Stephen

:26:20. > :26:25.McClane is a cross with the yellow card for the Rangers striker -- to

:26:26. > :26:32.get work won in. It is a yellow card for simulation. Raul picked out a

:26:33. > :26:38.beautiful pass work on, -- Corel. He certainly anticipated the contact.

:26:39. > :26:43.Miller gives it away to Scott McGarvey. He cuts in field in search

:26:44. > :26:51.of space. McDonald gets a second bite at it. He swung his white --

:26:52. > :26:58.right foot at the ball but couldn't keep the effort down.

:26:59. > :27:08.Hyndman to Barry McCarthy, up against Canon. Picks out why corner

:27:09. > :27:13.with the pass. It is just a foot or so wide from Martin Whitehorn. Real

:27:14. > :27:21.composure from Barry McCarthy. Missing the target. Pedro Caixinha

:27:22. > :27:25.has made a triple change at half-time. Three of the back four

:27:26. > :27:32.have come off. They have been replaced by holiday, Garner and

:27:33. > :27:40.O'Halloran. It's Garner! And it's off the line. Almost an immediate

:27:41. > :27:45.impact by Joe Garner. The defence doing their job eventually.

:27:46. > :28:00.Barry McCarthy! It's Garner! Samson makes the save. Garner could have

:28:01. > :28:11.had a double. Why corner spins away from his man. -- it's a looping

:28:12. > :28:20.cross! Garner attacks it! Rangers have their equaliser! And the

:28:21. > :28:26.substitutions have paid dividends for Pedro Caixinha. What a fantastic

:28:27. > :28:30.cross from Kenny Miller, and Joe Garner, his eighth goal for Rangers.

:28:31. > :28:41.His first in the lead at Ibrox since the end of October. Driving up the

:28:42. > :28:45.defence. Fine play. Baumann, and it comes to Louis Moult, and the ball

:28:46. > :28:50.is in the back of the net! But the flag is up on the far side, it will

:28:51. > :28:54.not count. Stephen Pearson deemed to be in an offside position. Was he

:28:55. > :28:56.interfering with play? And the answer is, yes. The final touch came

:28:57. > :29:10.off the Motherwell midfielder. Louis Moult, now for the second

:29:11. > :29:13.time... It is Baumann's had! Fine stop from Wes Fotheringham, he keeps

:29:14. > :29:25.Rangers all level with Motherwell. It's Louis Moult again, and a second

:29:26. > :29:33.chance! And Fotheringham with a double save. A brilliant piece of

:29:34. > :29:37.goalkeeping from the Rangers number one. First to keep out Louis Moult

:29:38. > :29:46.and then Scott McGarvey. Great reactions. -- Scott McDonald.

:29:47. > :29:56.Goner dropping deep, Mackay, back it comes to Garner. Samsung this time

:29:57. > :30:08.makes the stop. -- Samson. Chances galore. Garner went in search of his

:30:09. > :30:14.second goal. Waghorn, it is flipped on for Hyndman! And somehow this

:30:15. > :30:18.game remains at 1-1. Rangers denied a winner. That would have been harsh

:30:19. > :30:25.on Motherwell. And Rangers hopes of taking second place taken a bit of a

:30:26. > :30:30.dent with that home draw against Motherwell. Good result for the away

:30:31. > :30:33.side, and they started well, you have to say, Stephen. They have a

:30:34. > :30:38.real chance of taking more than just a point in this game. Rangers face a

:30:39. > :30:41.very difficult proposition. The first game against Hamilton he came

:30:42. > :30:45.and parked the bus. Motherwell took the game to Rangers. They were ahead

:30:46. > :30:49.within three minutes. From the point of view of Rangers, another goal

:30:50. > :30:56.lost. Mackay blocking of Mike Wallace. Great corner from Louis

:30:57. > :31:01.Moult, and deservedly the lead for Motherwell. It is not great for

:31:02. > :31:04.Rangers. To me, you would look at it more as a well worked Motherwell

:31:05. > :31:11.goal. They were in the ascendancy at this point. Louis Moult doing very

:31:12. > :31:13.well again. Not so sure about the defending from a Rangers

:31:14. > :31:17.perspective. Lucky to get away with this one. This is the correct

:31:18. > :31:21.decision, no doubt. A very poor clearance from Andy Halliday. That

:31:22. > :31:28.should have actually done better. I think it was potentially done wider.

:31:29. > :31:32.It clearly hits Stephen Pearson's ankle on the way out and deflected

:31:33. > :31:36.into the goal. The referee and linesman did do well. That throws up

:31:37. > :31:37.the question of what was the defensive setup of Rangers at that

:31:38. > :31:48.point? It was a very bold substitution. It

:31:49. > :31:55.caught my eye to take off three defensive players and two defensive

:31:56. > :31:59.strikers and a midfielder, they change their formation. Garner had

:32:00. > :32:06.some chances and eventually got his goal. Kenny Miller putting the ball

:32:07. > :32:10.into the box, he's turning away from it so it's difficult. It was an

:32:11. > :32:16.unbelievable pass and a great finish. I think it gets passed to

:32:17. > :32:20.Sammy so quickly he can do what anything with it. The second half

:32:21. > :32:29.was very open. Both teams creating chances. Motherwell with this double

:32:30. > :32:34.save. I think Motherwell were worthy of the point. Just looking at the

:32:35. > :32:40.defensive setup of Rangers, it was enforced but stark contrast to Mark

:32:41. > :32:47.Warburton. Very risk-taking, structure was in place, never

:32:48. > :32:52.changed. Mark Warburton would never have contemplated doing that. So,

:32:53. > :32:59.he's willing to change? Looks like it! What about Motherwell? They can

:33:00. > :33:08.produce these impressive performances. They deserved a point.

:33:09. > :33:12.Bigger fish to fry for them. That home game against Hamilton Accies

:33:13. > :33:17.becomes the Lanarkshire derby of all time. Matches against Celtic and

:33:18. > :33:22.Rangers, Motherwell can produce performances. I keep thinking about

:33:23. > :33:26.the guys at the top end of the park, they have enough to get them out of

:33:27. > :33:33.it but then they get dragged back in. That game at Hamilton is a big

:33:34. > :33:38.game. Partick Thistle had been

:33:39. > :33:40.proving their top six Striker Kris Doolan on the verge

:33:41. > :33:51.of a hundred goals for the club Partick Thistle's run of five games

:33:52. > :33:57.unbeaten has taken them into the top six. Alan Archibald names the same

:33:58. > :34:01.team that drew with Kilmarnock the last time out. Only one win in

:34:02. > :34:14.eight, Ross County. Partick Thistle never before

:34:15. > :34:22.finished in the top six since the split was introduced. He might have

:34:23. > :34:28.been targeted, the Dutch striker certainly thinks so, just on the

:34:29. > :34:39.edge of the box. There is a touch from Lindsay. Here comes Fraser,

:34:40. > :34:49.marauding forward, still going, the centre-back. Now Schalk. Boyce.

:34:50. > :34:58.Clips into the back post, Fraser still up there, so close to the

:34:59. > :35:03.opening from Ross County! The referee brings the first half to a

:35:04. > :35:07.close and Ross County almost making the breakthrough right at the cusp

:35:08. > :35:18.of half-time, Fraser denied by the woodwork. This is a fine chance for

:35:19. > :35:25.Thistle, Doolan alongside but he couldn't find him. That sums up

:35:26. > :35:32.Erskine's afternoon. Usually such a threat, but he has been off the

:35:33. > :35:48.boil. Good defending by van der Weg. Erskine. That was a 1-2 with Doolan.

:35:49. > :35:52.Good effort from Erskine. It is a frustrating afternoon so far for

:35:53. > :35:59.Erskine. So maybe finding a way to go there.

:36:00. > :36:14.Woods takes over, he is away from Lindsay. Woods breaks back for

:36:15. > :36:19.Curran! It is a fine finish for Ross County, they are in front and it

:36:20. > :36:26.would be hard to argue they don't deserve it. Good run from Woods.

:36:27. > :36:34.Barton was back there, he couldn't get hold of the ball, Curran left

:36:35. > :36:42.the goal keeper no chance. Partick Thistle hadn't really got started in

:36:43. > :36:51.this game. Free kick goes Thistle's wave. Woods not delighted with that

:36:52. > :36:52.decision. Not a massive amount of contact there but Edwards with the

:36:53. > :37:09.free kick. Doolan... There's the equaliser!

:37:10. > :37:17.There's gold number 100 four Kris Doolan in a Partick Thistle shot.

:37:18. > :37:26.Thistle are level. And a milestone for the Thistle front man.

:37:27. > :37:41.Dumbuya. Now it's Lawless. Doolan gets it back from Barton, and Doolan

:37:42. > :37:47.finishes again! Not content with 100, it is 101 for Doolan and, more

:37:48. > :37:53.importantly, Thistle in front. Very well taken, really well construct

:37:54. > :37:56.it, and Thistle on course for the three points.

:37:57. > :38:01.At half-time, we had to take responsibility. I think we did that.

:38:02. > :38:06.He's our talisman, Kris Doolan, probably doesn't get the credit he

:38:07. > :38:10.should get to. His record is outstanding. In terms of the way the

:38:11. > :38:18.players worked, the game plan was good, the effort... You can't ask

:38:19. > :38:22.for more, but I can ask to defend better. There were periods of

:38:23. > :38:28.pressure, and I can ask for getting into the final third. I've scored

:38:29. > :38:32.some memorable ones. A lot of typical goals around the box but

:38:33. > :38:37.some very memorable but those today in such a big game with what was at

:38:38. > :38:40.stake, it's something I'll remember forever.

:38:41. > :38:45.Congratulations to Kris Doolan rejoins the 100 club, then joined to

:38:46. > :38:52.the 101 club, so he has had a big weekend. How big an achievement has

:38:53. > :38:56.this been four Kris Doolan? Huge. For a guy that started at the

:38:57. > :39:00.juniors and worked his way up with the league with Partick Thistle and

:39:01. > :39:06.he has had four seasons in the top flight, he has gone from strength to

:39:07. > :39:18.strength. This was his first goal in the top flight for Partick Thistle,

:39:19. > :39:23.his 55th goal. His goals yesterday were outstanding. His touch and

:39:24. > :39:30.finish for his 100th... How long do you think he has been wearing this

:39:31. > :39:36.T-shirt? Since his 99th goal! Look at this, a little 1-2. The defender

:39:37. > :39:41.doesn't get tight enough. It is a fantastic girl and finish. He is a

:39:42. > :39:46.good finisher. He has continued to improve. Starting in juniors and

:39:47. > :39:52.progressing through, he has scored 46 goals in top flight. That's

:39:53. > :39:56.double figures every season. That is phenomenal for a striker. Think of

:39:57. > :40:01.the strikers that have come in in that period of time to challenge him

:40:02. > :40:05.and he has batted them all away. Partick Thistle are not one of the

:40:06. > :40:09.big clubs but in terms of Partick Thistle, this season, they are

:40:10. > :40:16.breathing down Hearts' neck. They are sixth in the table, they are

:40:17. > :40:22.overachieving. Ross County perhaps underachieving. They shouldn't be

:40:23. > :40:26.where they are, Ross County. Partick Thistle fans would argue they are

:40:27. > :40:30.not overachieving. They are a stable Premiership club now and to get the

:40:31. > :40:36.top six is a good achievement for them, especially looking at the

:40:37. > :40:41.factory four points behind Hearts. Both Rangers and Celtic in their

:40:42. > :40:45.last games. Ross County, they are level on points with Motherwell. And

:40:46. > :40:49.struggling. You can't fool the preparation but if you can't stop

:40:50. > :40:51.the goals going in, the problems keep mounting for Ross County. It'll

:40:52. > :40:53.be an interesting end to the season. Kilmarnock jousting

:40:54. > :40:54.with Partick Thistle Lee McCulloch's side headed north

:40:55. > :40:58.to face an Inverness Caley Thistle side bumping along the bottom

:40:59. > :41:19.of the table. Three changes from the side that

:41:20. > :41:35.drew with Ross County. One enforced change for Kilmarnock.

:41:36. > :41:46.McKay claims he was being held, he appeals to the referee. There is

:41:47. > :41:56.another skirmish in the box. Longstaff says, thank you, I'll take

:41:57. > :42:01.that. McKay takes him down, the referee points to the spot. Some

:42:02. > :42:08.penalties you question and others are spot on. That's the latter. It

:42:09. > :42:12.is a simple no doubt. What a great chance for Killie. He missed his

:42:13. > :42:18.last one for Motherwell, Boyd does not miss here and for the third time

:42:19. > :42:20.of the meeting between these two sides, Kilmarnock have the lead over

:42:21. > :42:39.Inverness. Good first touch, second touch is

:42:40. > :42:42.the equaliser! Billy McKay celebrates as 150th appearance for

:42:43. > :42:49.Inverness Ali Thistle with a goal. It came back off Taylor, he got it

:42:50. > :42:51.under control. The shot was way beyond the goalkeeper and it is one

:42:52. > :42:57.apiece. Jones twisting away from Warren.

:42:58. > :43:13.That was a glorious chance. He's coursing problems down the

:43:14. > :43:21.flank. It's a great ball down to Boyd. And that was a poor effort.

:43:22. > :43:31.Tansey always looks to strike from distance. And more work for Woodman.

:43:32. > :43:38.He will give his all for Inverness and a Thistle, even though he has

:43:39. > :43:45.signed the contract with Aberdeen. Eight points separated the sides at

:43:46. > :43:50.the start of the game. Boyd comes through, Warren makes the tackle.

:43:51. > :43:57.They needed to be careful here. Definitely needed to hit the ball.

:43:58. > :44:06.McNaughton, out for 29 games with an Achilles problem. They are finding

:44:07. > :44:11.some space, Inverness, but the goalkeeper terms it behind.

:44:12. > :44:13.Difficult shots for the goalkeeper. He turned it behind rather than to

:44:14. > :44:36.hold it. Sammon fancies it into the middle!

:44:37. > :44:41.Great effort from Jones. Kilmarnock are pushing. Good opportunity for

:44:42. > :45:00.Longstaff. Jones took it very well. Beautiful piece of play. Good save

:45:01. > :45:10.again. Both goalkeepers being very well worked this afternoon.

:45:11. > :45:25.Kilmarnock are creating the better chances. He is Roberts. Get the shot

:45:26. > :45:35.away, and he's made an impact since he's come on, Roberts. Very lively.

:45:36. > :45:47.Kiltie and Roberts combine once more. It opens up for him! That was

:45:48. > :45:54.dipping and going in, the goalkeeper does good work. Disappointing result

:45:55. > :45:57.for us. Delighted with the character of the lads, they could have folded

:45:58. > :46:04.after the goal because of the silly penalty. The character is still

:46:05. > :46:09.there. If the lads were hiding from the ball, I'd be worried but I'm not

:46:10. > :46:14.worried at all. It's a tough place to come, we travelled up this

:46:15. > :46:20.morning. And we finished the game with seven teenagers so it just

:46:21. > :46:23.shows the character of the players. Plenty of chances and some

:46:24. > :46:29.outstanding saves in that match. In the end, was that a better point for

:46:30. > :46:33.Kilmarnock? For me, it is a better point for Kilmarnock. All three

:46:34. > :46:37.games between the sides this season have finished 1- once they shouldn't

:46:38. > :46:41.be surprised but too many draws for Inverness they've drawn the last

:46:42. > :46:44.three games and they've got to start turning them into winners. I

:46:45. > :46:51.mentioned that they've drawn too many games, gone back to the bottom

:46:52. > :46:55.of the league. Killie will be disappointed because they would have

:46:56. > :47:00.had outside hopes of catching Partick Thistle in sixth. It would

:47:01. > :47:03.have put them in better position, three points. Jones, he came in at

:47:04. > :47:09.the start of the season, we weren't sure about him but he has progressed

:47:10. > :47:12.well. I've got to be honest, the wave that As many as are of the

:47:13. > :47:14.opinion, say "aye". To the contrary, "no". Has his team set up, they are

:47:15. > :47:22.more structured. There's no doubt, there is a penalty. I think the way

:47:23. > :47:26.the team is set up, there's a lot more structure and it allows

:47:27. > :47:34.somebody like Jones to go and express himself. When the teams are

:47:35. > :47:40.at sixes and sevens at times... They don't get the space to express

:47:41. > :47:47.themselves. Look at this one too. You're desperate to do that. The

:47:48. > :47:55.skin is the nominal, he can get past offenders, he has pace, so much so

:47:56. > :48:06.that a player came off for him at half-time. McNaughton, there was a

:48:07. > :48:12.testimonial for him last weekend, good that he was able to play today.

:48:13. > :48:21.Both teams have so much to do. They do. There is five points separating

:48:22. > :48:23.the bottom five teams and it will go all the way. Inverness are one of

:48:24. > :48:26.five that will go all the way. Finally to the Friday

:48:27. > :48:28.night match at Dens Park. Dundee up against second

:48:29. > :48:46.placed Aberdeen. Some changes made today.

:48:47. > :48:57.El-Bakhtaoui comes into the side for Dundee.

:48:58. > :49:09.The Dons are two wins out of two against the Dees. Considine was very

:49:10. > :49:16.close to giving Aberdeen an early advantage. The Rangers manager an

:49:17. > :49:22.interested spectator, he faces Aberdeen on Sunday week. Considine!

:49:23. > :49:30.This time, he scores. He had a chance earlier but he has buried

:49:31. > :49:42.that one. And Aberdeen have a deserved lead.

:49:43. > :49:57.Rooney! You can't argue with that for a cross. And Adam Rooney devours

:49:58. > :50:00.that kind of service. 2-0, Aberdeen. The flick of the head of the number

:50:01. > :50:22.nine in red. A chance the McLean, 3-0! Really

:50:23. > :50:31.fine finish by Kenny McLean and it could be game, set and match

:50:32. > :50:38.already. Aberdeen are turning it on. McLean gets there. He still had work

:50:39. > :50:40.to do. But it is a lovely finish from Aberdeen's man of the moment,

:50:41. > :50:56.Kenny McLean. He seems to sale across the pitch,

:50:57. > :51:02.McGinn, gliding from one side to the other.

:51:03. > :51:15.This is Considine, again! This is absolutely stunning. You can hear

:51:16. > :51:19.what the home fans make of this. You can also hear what the Aberdeen 's

:51:20. > :51:29.up the other end of the Shankly stand make of it. An incredible 4-0

:51:30. > :51:35.scoreline before the break. Aberdeen 4-0 up against Motherwell at

:51:36. > :51:45.Pittodrie at half-time not so long ago. Dundee have nothing to lose

:51:46. > :51:47.now. The game's gone. El-Bakhtaoui, who scored a screamer last time out

:51:48. > :52:05.against Celtic. You just wonder if Aberdeen fancy

:52:06. > :52:12.more goals. This is Jack! The answer is that Aberdeen fancy more goals!

:52:13. > :52:25.Ryan Jack, whose only other goal this season came against Dundee,

:52:26. > :52:26.makes it 5- 02 Aberdeen. It is a turkey shoot in the city of

:52:27. > :52:49.discovery. Terrible defending! That as number

:52:50. > :52:56.six by McGinn! There will be a generation, if not two generations

:52:57. > :53:12.of Aberdeen fans that will not have seen them rack them up away from

:53:13. > :53:16.home. Gomis gets afoot to this. Very worrying for Paul Hartley because

:53:17. > :53:29.this game isn't done yet. Christie's ball. Considine! Hat-trick! Number

:53:30. > :53:36.seven for the Dons. They are in seventh heaven now! A quite

:53:37. > :53:40.astonishing night. What I would say is they played the way they train

:53:41. > :53:46.and I ask for that a lot of the time, they trusted each other with

:53:47. > :53:51.the ball, they always had options. There was real concentration as well

:53:52. > :53:56.to get the clean sheet. All in all, you don't get too many nights like

:53:57. > :54:05.that in your managerial career, so thank you for enjoying my team play.

:54:06. > :54:11.We don't expect them to score a hat-trick, so well done to him. No

:54:12. > :54:17.interview from Paul Hartley. He was not happy with his team's

:54:18. > :54:23.performance, losing 7-0. Quite a fantastic performance from Aberdeen.

:54:24. > :54:26.Considine, did you think you'd ever lived to see him score a hat-trick

:54:27. > :54:31.on the eve of his 30th birthday as well? What a weekend he's had.

:54:32. > :54:36.Phenomenal. He was brilliant in the match. He is a real threat from

:54:37. > :54:41.cross balls on set plays. Here is an early warning shot, a free header in

:54:42. > :54:45.the middle of the six, very poor defensively, he doesn't score

:54:46. > :54:49.although he should have. His first goal, he loses his marker, he jumps

:54:50. > :54:55.well and look at the quality of the delivery. This one is the second.

:54:56. > :55:02.Look at O'Hara, Healy has gotten, then he's gone to sleep. Brilliant

:55:03. > :55:07.movement for a centre-half. But look at delivery and accuracy of

:55:08. > :55:11.delivery. That is a phenomenal ball in, and Considine getting on the

:55:12. > :55:16.wrong side of the Dundee defence. I acceptable to lose seven goals at

:55:17. > :55:19.home, but from an Aberdeen perspective, brilliant. There are

:55:20. > :55:23.midweek games but next weekend Aberdeen play Rangers on Sunday,

:55:24. > :55:28.they are already ten points clear of them had a huge opportunity for them

:55:29. > :55:31.to cement second place. Massive. Aberdeen were going at that full of

:55:32. > :55:35.confidence they can get the result and there's no reason why not

:55:36. > :55:39.because they've been on an unbelievable run. Consistency has

:55:40. > :55:43.been top drawer from Aberdeen. There's no doubt they are firm

:55:44. > :55:49.favourites for second spot and firm favourites to extend the lead next

:55:50. > :55:54.week as well. A slight blot on the Aberdeen landscape, McGinn looking

:55:55. > :55:58.likely to leave Pittodrie come the summer possibly to the English

:55:59. > :56:03.Championship. He has been a top servant for Aberdeen, scored a lot

:56:04. > :56:07.of goals, set up a lot of chances as well and good to see the Aberdeen

:56:08. > :56:12.fans cheering him as he scores. You see a lot of players when they are

:56:13. > :56:15.looking like they're going to leave, the fans get upset but they

:56:16. > :56:20.recognise the job he's done for Aberdeen. It is not definite he will

:56:21. > :56:24.go away but it looks like the chances are he will. It's good to

:56:25. > :56:34.see the support, recognising what a good player he has been. Good news

:56:35. > :56:42.is that they've been chasing Tansey for a while and the contract is

:56:43. > :56:48.nearly signed. He is a player that Derek McInnes admires, he's got good

:56:49. > :56:52.quality and he's got physicality. If McGinn goes, Derek McInnes's

:56:53. > :56:56.recruitments have been good. He will be difficult to replace but I'm

:56:57. > :57:02.pretty sure they will manage to replace him. 7-0 at home, where does

:57:03. > :57:06.this leave Paul Hartley? Difficult position because they are right in

:57:07. > :57:11.the mire. We've been talking about the bottom six being in the dogfight

:57:12. > :57:16.and Dundee are there, and getting battered 7-0 at home will be a blow

:57:17. > :57:19.for confidence. It isn't a great place at the moment. They looked

:57:20. > :57:21.reasonable defensively against Celtic, ironically.

:57:22. > :57:23.All that leaves the Ladbrokes Premiership table looking like this.

:57:24. > :57:32.Aberdeen second on 61, ten points clear of Rangers.

:57:33. > :57:34.Inverness Caley Thistle bottom of the table on 25 points.

:57:35. > :57:44.No six o'clock showing of Sportscene due to the Masters coverage.

:57:45. > :57:46.Instead an earlier showing on BBC One.

:57:47. > :57:52.The story of the title race is done, but plenty of subplots to keep us

:57:53. > :57:56.Congratulations to Brendan Rodgers and his Celtic side.

:57:57. > :59:00.From all of us, until next time, goodnight.

:59:01. > :59:04.One man had the vision to take inspiration from the ancient

:59:05. > :59:07.and create buildings that were the envy of the world.

:59:08. > :59:11.More than an architect, he was a technologist and an artist.

:59:12. > :59:15.His visions are synonymous with Glasgow and beyond.

:59:16. > :59:19.He created some of the most exotic and beautiful buildings

:59:20. > :59:25.as we explore the work of Alexander "Greek" Thomson:
