:00:44. > :01:01.The championship's is Celtic's for the third successive season. What a

:01:02. > :01:11.terrific shot that is. A great goal. What the chance. Terry Butcher

:01:12. > :01:13.cannot believe it. Good evening and welcome to Sportscene with me

:01:14. > :01:17.Jonathan Sutherland. Tonight, we give thanks to the play-off spot,

:01:18. > :01:20.which is making the bottom half of the Premiership an exciting an

:01:21. > :01:23.uncertain place. And it looks like going down to the wire. Plus it

:01:24. > :01:26.gives our pundits, Michael Stewart and Billy Dodds, plenty to talk

:01:27. > :01:31.about. Not that they normally need much help on that front. This had

:01:32. > :01:35.the makings of a decisive weekend in the Premiership story. Could Hearts

:01:36. > :01:38.stave off relegation once again? For that to happen, second bottom St

:01:39. > :01:40.Mirren needed to lose to Motherwell while Hearts had to beat Partick

:01:41. > :02:18.Thistle at Firhill. Paterson heads it down. Caddick

:02:19. > :02:25.cannot get there. It could be a chance for Kris Doolan. A fine

:02:26. > :02:30.finish. Kris Doolan, that to back calls for him. Scorers after five

:02:31. > :02:50.minutes. It is a cracking finish. The pace of Kris Doolan did what was

:02:51. > :02:59.needed. The great ball through from Higginbotham. Hearts again and the

:03:00. > :03:04.two centre half is struggling. Nice corner. Robinson. A good save from

:03:05. > :03:13.Paul Gallacher. What a terrific header. That is a great save for the

:03:14. > :03:21.goalkeeper. Stevenson, Caddick, King has made a run. Billy King. Trying

:03:22. > :03:26.to move away and it is wide. Mellon was tracking him back. Good

:03:27. > :03:35.acceleration from Billy King but dragged it wide. That is it back

:03:36. > :03:42.again. Billy King turns. Beaten away by Paul Gallacher and knocked away

:03:43. > :03:53.by Taylor-Sinclair. Pushing for an equaliser here. A long throw into

:03:54. > :04:03.the ball. Head tennis going on. Caddick got it down, what's he

:04:04. > :04:10.bumped? The referee says no. One minute until half-time. Jamie Hamill

:04:11. > :04:17.sends it forward. It could be a chance for Billy King. Up against

:04:18. > :04:30.the ruling. There is the equaliser! It has come from Dale Carrick. Billy

:04:31. > :04:36.King setting him up. It is 1-1. Hearts would need to get the win to

:04:37. > :04:59.survive and they needed St Mirren to lose to Motherwell.

:05:00. > :05:12.Kenny McLean's corner. A big chance. Saved by the Nielsen. It was a good

:05:13. > :05:16.one. No-one could do anything on the rebound. Early pressure from the

:05:17. > :05:25.home team and what an opportunity this was for McGregor to score.

:05:26. > :05:36.Lansley under pressure. The long ball from McManus. And Mirren caught

:05:37. > :05:39.out, no offside flag. It is 1-0. A switch off at the back from St

:05:40. > :05:47.Mirren and they are badly caught out here. The goalkeeper came charging

:05:48. > :05:52.of of his line which made up the mind of Lionel Ainsworth. He just

:05:53. > :06:01.knocked the ball into the middle and Anier scored again. In those

:06:02. > :06:13.Goodwin. It is pinball. No Anier. Steven Hammell. John Sutton scorers

:06:14. > :06:21.and it is the 2-0 lead. Inside 27 minutes in Paisley. Not the start St

:06:22. > :06:27.Mirren were looking for. Motherwell are two goals up. It is John

:06:28. > :06:35.Sutton's 20th goal of the season and few have been easier. In from

:06:36. > :06:41.McLean. Kept alive by McGregor. Steven Thompson has seems back in

:06:42. > :06:51.the Game three minutes before half-time. -- St Mirren back in the

:06:52. > :06:57.game. It is relief among the warm support that they can indeed get

:06:58. > :07:05.something from this game. You could see the effort that Gary Locke wants

:07:06. > :07:10.from his team. Stevenson hits off of Caddick, onto Billy King. A great

:07:11. > :07:21.goal from Billy King. Hearts are ahead. They need to win today. Paul

:07:22. > :07:27.Gallacher with no chance. Concern for Alan Archibald. It came with the

:07:28. > :07:44.corner. Stevenson's header. Hearts are ahead. He had not scored since

:07:45. > :07:56.November. A great glancing header. Hearts are leading here by 3-1. In

:07:57. > :08:03.it goes. Stevenson! Hearts are four - one ahead. It is a double for

:08:04. > :08:10.Stevenson. Robinson across, a great little spin and turn and he popped

:08:11. > :08:16.it in the corner. The substitutes are combining. Jordan McMillan.

:08:17. > :08:23.Running forward and he has got the chance. That is his first Artic

:08:24. > :08:29.Thistle goal. He does not really stop to celebrate. With two minutes

:08:30. > :08:36.to play Jordan McMillan pulls one goal back for Partick Thistle. A

:08:37. > :08:42.lovely move. The substitutes involved. Hearts will still take all

:08:43. > :08:50.three points you would suspect. They have been impressive having gone one

:08:51. > :08:58.goal down. Back it came onto Steven Lawless. The substitute came in,

:08:59. > :09:05.so, too, James Craigen. Plenty of venom in that short. A good save

:09:06. > :09:13.from the keeper. Hearts would have gone to relegation. The referee

:09:14. > :09:19.picked up an injury. He was replaced by the fourth official. McLean did

:09:20. > :09:27.well to get that in. Thompson with a diving header. They played so well

:09:28. > :09:40.to get the cross in. Goodwin. Josh Magennis. Jason Naismith. Working

:09:41. > :09:47.the 1-2 with Goodwin. Gets himself in and around. Skill from the

:09:48. > :09:55.goalkeeper. Thompson could not quite get to that rebound. McLean

:09:56. > :10:07.delivers. Thompson gets turned and the shot on goal is kept away by the

:10:08. > :10:14.goalkeeper. Trying to angle that towards the far corner. It is left

:10:15. > :10:22.for Lionel aims worth. A good strike and tipped over the top by the

:10:23. > :10:28.goalkeeper. It might just be game over here. They are giving it

:10:29. > :10:36.everything, St Mirren, to try to get something. There is Thompson with

:10:37. > :10:43.the knocked down. It came off of Stephen McManus and the referee says

:10:44. > :10:50.handball and penalty. He looks to have got that badly wrong. It has

:10:51. > :10:55.come off of the face of McManus. Kenny McLean to square the game

:10:56. > :11:01.which he does. Four minutes from time it is two goals each and the

:11:02. > :11:20.coolest man on the pitch was Kenny McLean.

:11:21. > :11:31.The Stephen Thomson has scored! From behind, Saint Mirren are now 3-2 in

:11:32. > :11:37.front. What an incredible much, and this could be a hugely significant

:11:38. > :11:42.result. And that is how it finished, a dramatic win for Saint Mirren, and

:11:43. > :11:46.despite Hearts' victory at Partick diesel, the Tyneside side were

:11:47. > :11:53.relegated on an afternoon of high emotion.

:11:54. > :12:00.After the sloppy goal in the first 50 minutes, probably our best

:12:01. > :12:05.performance of the season. I thought we caused Partick all sorts of

:12:06. > :12:09.problems. For 20 minutes we dominated and were creating chance

:12:10. > :12:14.after chance. Something tripped a switch and they stopped doing so

:12:15. > :12:18.well and Hearts got into the game. I have tried to remain as positive as

:12:19. > :12:23.I can be. We have had knocks but I am positive we will get this deal

:12:24. > :12:33.done and Hearts of Midlothian will be back at the top of the table. We

:12:34. > :12:37.will have to pick up towards the end of the season by shoving our

:12:38. > :12:40.character. There are only a few points separating five teams and I

:12:41. > :12:49.concede is going all the way to the wire. It hit him full in the face.

:12:50. > :12:53.The linesman was looking and did not give it. The referee gave it from 30

:12:54. > :13:01.yards away on the other side. It was an importing -- appalling decision.

:13:02. > :13:08.We need to start with that pivotal handball decision from the referee

:13:09. > :13:16.on Stephen McManus in the Saint Mirren -Motherwell match. The

:13:17. > :13:21.referee's position does not help. I can understand why he thought it was

:13:22. > :13:27.a penalty. He is miles away at the wrong angle. It hits his face. It is

:13:28. > :13:32.never a penalty. Anyone watching this, rewinding and having a look,

:13:33. > :13:38.every bit of the footage that week showed, the referee is standing to

:13:39. > :13:46.the left side of the penalty area. He is miles away. Exactly the same.

:13:47. > :13:52.There is one clip where you notice he points to his ear as if to say he

:13:53. > :13:59.has been told, but his position was not right at all. Stephen Thomson,

:14:00. > :14:05.friend of Sportscene, at the double. Is this the end of the season --

:14:06. > :14:15.highlight of the season so far for Saint Mirren?

:14:16. > :14:21.It was a massive result for Saint Mirren. Very similar, almost to the

:14:22. > :14:26.last season, where they were getting chased down and started to panic a

:14:27. > :14:30.bit. They have managed to get the result there. It was inevitable

:14:31. > :14:34.Hearts would get relegated but they are looking further ahead and trying

:14:35. > :14:38.to drag the other teams into the play-off spot. I was at Saint Mirren

:14:39. > :14:43.yesterday and it was a deafening roar when the goal went in at the

:14:44. > :14:50.end. So many people had pencilled in Saint Mirren for the second bottom

:14:51. > :14:56.slot. Yes, we have said that, we could not see how they were going to

:14:57. > :15:04.get out of it that they were capable of a win. -- but they were capable

:15:05. > :15:12.of a win. Hearts are of course now relegated. This was the first time

:15:13. > :15:17.they had scored four goals in one game this season, ironically.

:15:18. > :15:27.How would you sum up the manager's season? It has been disappointing on

:15:28. > :15:32.so many fronts. The pressure has been taken of the young players'

:15:33. > :15:41.shoulders. PC Billy King 's -- you see Billy King setting one up and

:15:42. > :15:45.scoring another one. I was at the game in the week against Aberdeen

:15:46. > :15:49.and credit to Gary Locke, he made a tactical change at half-time and it

:15:50. > :15:50.made a big difference, but over the course of the season, too many

:15:51. > :16:02.repetitive mistakes. It has been difficult all mine for

:16:03. > :16:07.everyone at the club. I would have to say until you get a shot and a

:16:08. > :16:11.fair chance as a manager by getting your own players and better tools to

:16:12. > :16:16.work with, no disrespect to the young boys, I think you should be

:16:17. > :16:25.judged on that and I know first hand he is a top coat and a modern coach.

:16:26. > :16:35.He is passionate and until he gets a fair crack at it... -- he is a top

:16:36. > :16:47.coach. The administrators meet to discuss Hearts in Lithuania

:16:48. > :16:54.tomorrow. How worried should Hearts fans bitter night? It is just the

:16:55. > :16:58.same situation as it has been all season. There is a lot of

:16:59. > :17:03.brinkmanship going on at the moment. They are trying to force the hand of

:17:04. > :17:07.the day the radiance to hurry up and get the deal done. Worrying times

:17:08. > :17:14.but if things will happen... You can hear Gary Locke being positive about

:17:15. > :17:18.it and when that happens, the people who care about the club in Scotland

:17:19. > :17:23.can build the future for it. Tomorrow is a pivotal day.

:17:24. > :17:27.Absolutely, the fans have been tortured enough. They would like a

:17:28. > :17:34.good result out of this tomorrow. I think it will be good news. I hope I

:17:35. > :17:46.do not get egg on my face but for the sake of Scottish football, we

:17:47. > :17:49.need the big clubs safe and secure. Of all the sides in the play-off

:17:50. > :17:52.mix, Kilmarnock looked the healthiest going into this weekend.

:17:53. > :17:55.Last Saturday they'd beaten Motherwell with a late goal from

:17:56. > :17:59.Craig Slater. The midfielder was in the starting line-up again. And of

:18:00. > :18:02.course they had Kris Boyd up front. 19 goals and counting for the

:18:03. > :18:05.season. St Johnstone the visitors at Rugby Park, already sure of their

:18:06. > :18:08.top-six place. They went with almost the same side that drew 1-1 with

:18:09. > :18:11.Partick Thistle last weekend. Just the one change - David Wotherspoon

:18:12. > :18:17.starting in place of Michael O'Halloran.

:18:18. > :18:26.Kris Boyd got the shaft and Alan Manus got the Parry. 18-year-old

:18:27. > :18:33.Muirhead with just his second Killie. St Johnstone are made of

:18:34. > :18:39.stern stuff but they are not immune to mistakes. James done with the

:18:40. > :18:46.errant header, Eremenko with a typically audacious effort. Not far

:18:47. > :18:49.away from 2-0, what a difference that might have made because just

:18:50. > :18:54.after the half hour mark, St Johnstone equalised.

:18:55. > :19:03.Frazer Wright got a bullet header at the near post. And just before

:19:04. > :19:08.half-time, it was 2-1. Frazer Wright's central defensive partner

:19:09. > :19:15.Anderson with a goal off a superbly executed backheel. St John's and

:19:16. > :19:21.deservedly in front. Tommy Wright's side rarely phone in their

:19:22. > :19:24.performances. In the second half, Frazer Wright's looping header

:19:25. > :19:32.almost found a way in at the back post with Stevie me lurking. --

:19:33. > :19:42.Stevie me. And after their decent start, Killie went backwards in

:19:43. > :19:50.this. David Wotherspoon would get his chance to try from 20 yards.

:19:51. > :19:55.Just wide of the post. Frazer Wright's crunching but fair tackle

:19:56. > :19:59.was the catalyst as St Johnstone mounted yet another attack. David

:20:00. > :20:09.Wotherspoon once again with the opportunity. In the end, this was

:20:10. > :20:14.the perfect way for St Johnstone to limber up for their Scottish Cup

:20:15. > :20:19.semifinal. Wotherspoon assessment ball into the box almost found

:20:20. > :20:23.McLean. But St Johnstone deserving of all three points.

:20:24. > :20:32.We started brightly but then to lose a goal from a corner, really

:20:33. > :20:40.disappointing. Then they scored another goal from a corner. Two

:20:41. > :20:46.quality balls in and two great runs and Frazer really showed

:20:47. > :20:52.determination. Pleased for them two and pleased for the lads as well

:20:53. > :20:57.because that shows how far we can get up the top six.

:20:58. > :21:06.A fantastic away win from St Johnstone, both goals from corners.

:21:07. > :21:18.Neither of you is enamoured by the Kilmarnock and in? -- defending?

:21:19. > :21:27.It is a bit confusing. Kris Boyd was standing on the six yard box. I do

:21:28. > :21:32.not know what his role was. You heard Allan Johnston they're saying

:21:33. > :21:37.they did not look a threat from set pieces yet they have conceded two

:21:38. > :21:43.themselves as well. Set pieces are a big thing these days and their own

:21:44. > :21:47.looked confusing. I have seen Marvin Andrews do that Kris Boyd role for

:21:48. > :21:51.Rangers. He used to... If he comes in that area and you are in the

:21:52. > :21:57.middle of the six yard box, you go and attack it. That does not say

:21:58. > :22:04.much for Killie have Kris Boyd as your main header off the ball. One

:22:05. > :22:09.thing I think we should point out is, if this was Neymar scoring the

:22:10. > :22:20.goal as Steven Anderson does... It is a backheel. If it had gone

:22:21. > :22:27.YouTube it would have gone viral by now. It was not an easy chance to

:22:28. > :22:38.take but if there was someone on the front post there, they would have

:22:39. > :22:41.easily not wrapped away. Could Dundee United still crash the

:22:42. > :22:43.party for second place in the Premiership?

:22:44. > :22:46.They faced a tall order taking anything against the champions,

:22:47. > :22:51.Celtic. At Tannadice for us was Liam Macleod.

:22:52. > :22:58.The Tangerines are looking to improve on a miserable record

:22:59. > :23:07.against their visitors. Samaras' first start since the beginning of

:23:08. > :23:14.the February. Kris Commons will take this free kick for Celtic.

:23:15. > :23:22.Samaras! That is brilliant. Back in the team and back in the goals. Is

:23:23. > :23:27.the Greece International... His first strike for the club since the

:23:28. > :23:32.consolation goal in Barcelona and it was expertly taken. Just two wins in

:23:33. > :23:41.57 for Dundee United against Celtic, a dreadful record. Not bad.

:23:42. > :23:53.On his wrong foot, which did not help the cause. Four goals this

:23:54. > :23:58.season, cunning. No Griffiths in the starting line-up, Neil Lennon saying

:23:59. > :24:06.before the game that he is resting a slight knock. Magnificent from

:24:07. > :24:12.Celtic. The build-up play, the finish as well. A little 1-2 between

:24:13. > :24:20.Commons and Stokes in the age of the box. A fantastic goal for Celtic.

:24:21. > :24:25.They are two to the good after the first quarter. John Rankin. So

:24:26. > :24:33.crucial that Dundee United scored the next goal in the game.

:24:34. > :24:41.He is over but he certainly has plenty behind the right foot shot

:24:42. > :24:46.there. Frustrated with himself. United were denied the famous

:24:47. > :24:56.victory at Celtic Park early in the season. Dow is offside. It is not

:24:57. > :24:59.going to count. No doubt be half-time introduction of Gary Mckay

:25:00. > :25:02.Stephen has made a difference to the hosts.

:25:03. > :25:11.There is the former Celtic Blake in the stands. He looks after a Dundee

:25:12. > :25:31.United Tracker. -- striker. It is wide from Watson. Might have

:25:32. > :25:37.done better, Keith Watson here, teed up nicely. Just tried to guide it

:25:38. > :25:46.into the far post. Samaras got things started for Celtic very early

:25:47. > :25:48.on, with the fifth minute opener. An awkward one for Dylan and he missed

:25:49. > :26:18.judged it. Unlucky. Good save. Unlucky. I think he claims he took a

:26:19. > :26:19.touch. Lee Griffiths has made the headlines all week, trying to make

:26:20. > :26:31.headlines of a different kind there. A good 1-to that between the centre

:26:32. > :26:37.half and Stokes. He cannot finish it.

:26:38. > :26:51.One defeat for Celtic this season in the lead. They are heading for

:26:52. > :26:57.another victory but Dundee United might yet have something to say.

:26:58. > :26:58.Mckay Stephen's effort saved well by Forster. Reasonably harmless and it

:26:59. > :27:12.was originally it I Mckay Stephen. Not decisive. Hoisted away. Then

:27:13. > :27:20.hoisted back in. Ambrose heads clear. United fans wanted a free

:27:21. > :27:22.kick for a push there. Forster is called into action once again as it

:27:23. > :27:47.is busted towards goal by Armstrong. I thought our second-half play was

:27:48. > :27:54.very good. I thought we got nervous, a bit at times. The second half we

:27:55. > :27:58.were better with more energy and had a few chances which was pleasing. I

:27:59. > :28:16.just thought it was a bit too late will stop Billy, you were impressed

:28:17. > :28:21.by the interplay upfront? They did what Dundee United have been doing

:28:22. > :28:28.two teams all season. Interchanging. You see Kris Commons here on the

:28:29. > :28:34.left. Their move meant was absolutely excellent. Samaras. All

:28:35. > :28:39.fees and they have been excellent. You see Stokes again, he is the one

:28:40. > :28:46.who drops, this time Kris Commons comes in. The finishing and the pace

:28:47. > :28:52.was excellent. They did that all game. They were comfortable. The

:28:53. > :29:00.Celtic story has moved on today with the SFA, the police and Celtic

:29:01. > :29:04.themselves investigating footage of Leigh Griffiths apparently singing

:29:05. > :29:12.offensive songs about the former hearts midfielder Rudi Scutt shall.

:29:13. > :29:21.Neil Lennon has said in the past that any player involved in this

:29:22. > :29:31.kind of behaviour would be sacked. -- Rudi Satchel. I do not see the

:29:32. > :29:44.club sacking him. Neil Lennon has been put in an horrendous edition by

:29:45. > :29:49.the actions of Leigh Griffiths. I think people deserve a second chance

:29:50. > :29:53.but I would be making sure he realises this sort of behaviour is

:29:54. > :29:58.not acceptable. They could even suspend him to the end of the

:29:59. > :30:03.season. They have won the league, they are not in the cup, they could

:30:04. > :30:09.do something like that to put a strong message out there but I do

:30:10. > :30:16.not see them sacking him. This player has put him in an impossible

:30:17. > :30:25.situation. It is almost impossible but I am sure they can come up with

:30:26. > :30:29.something. They could put him on the transfer list, I do not think they

:30:30. > :30:34.will sack him, I think they will try to spin it another way because he is

:30:35. > :30:39.doing so well but they cannot be seen to be doing things like that.

:30:40. > :30:47.Neil Lennon is in a difficult situation. It will be difficult to

:30:48. > :30:54.see how he handles the situation. OK. Always plenty riding on the

:30:55. > :30:56.Highland derby. Ross County in need of points to escape the play-off

:30:57. > :31:35.place scramble. Tremarco. He miss controlled and

:31:36. > :31:44.then followed through. The referee comes over. This is going to be a

:31:45. > :31:51.yellow card. He led with the leg and did not get it down, that could have

:31:52. > :32:02.been read. Here is Greg Tanzi. 20 of power on that. Back onto Aaron

:32:03. > :32:14.Doran. The wonderful goal! The goalkeeper could do nothing about

:32:15. > :32:24.this. Trying to move away from Raven. He steps inside. A nice

:32:25. > :32:34.little ball across. It is then! An overhead kick. Caley Thistle players

:32:35. > :32:41.think his boot is a little high. This man will be credited with the

:32:42. > :32:47.equaliser. It is driven in. A good blog from Boyd. An opportunity

:32:48. > :32:54.moving forward. That is the shout for a penalty. It is a strong one,

:32:55. > :33:07.too. Here they come again. The header. That seemed to get played

:33:08. > :33:14.into the head. Liam Shinnie is going to get a yellow card. If you have

:33:15. > :33:23.given a foul inside the box it is a penalty. Inverness Caley Thistle.

:33:24. > :33:30.Tremarco. Back onto Aaron Doran. Billy McKay is available again. It

:33:31. > :33:38.breaks again. Billy McKay is the man again for Caley Thistle. It has been

:33:39. > :33:43.hard-fought. It continues to be hard-fought. Billy McKay trying to

:33:44. > :33:51.get away from Boyd. It is delightful. For the crossbar. What a

:33:52. > :33:58.finish that would have been to the game for Billy McKay. What skill. It

:33:59. > :34:06.keeps as on the shirt tails of Dundee United. I think there were

:34:07. > :34:14.two sendings-off in the game. Tremarco and Shinnie. There should

:34:15. > :34:21.also have been a penalty in the game. I feel really hard done to

:34:22. > :34:29.tonight. Let's have a look at those incidents. Tremarco with the first

:34:30. > :34:34.one. I think in the modern game when you go like that and the studs are

:34:35. > :34:42.going I think you are running the risk of a red card. For this one,

:34:43. > :34:47.there is no contact on that. He is rolling about there but it is not

:34:48. > :34:52.the booking for me because there was no contact. This one is the bizarre

:34:53. > :34:59.situation all around. It is clearly inside the box but you can see here,

:35:00. > :35:05.he kicks the ball. His book is high. The head is down. Anywhere else you

:35:06. > :35:13.would get a free kick but it is not a booking so it should have been a

:35:14. > :35:27.penalty. I have never seen a ball being played like that. Because the

:35:28. > :35:34.referee thinks it is a foul. I am not sure of the distance at the

:35:35. > :35:41.should have given the penalty but I do not think it was a penalty

:35:42. > :35:49.because the guy had his head low. I just cannot believe that. I am just

:35:50. > :35:57.confused about this. John Hughes did not make much of this. I suppose his

:35:58. > :36:01.side won the game in the end. When you look at this and you see this

:36:02. > :36:10.year. Meetings with the head bandage. I think that could have

:36:11. > :36:23.easily been a free kick. Penalty? No chance. There is not enough contact.

:36:24. > :36:31.I think a little short talk is not a lot of contact but it is enough to

:36:32. > :36:35.put you off balance. There is no momentum, or contact to pull him

:36:36. > :36:42.down, he could have stayed on his feet. If that was me and that big

:36:43. > :36:48.centre half was in there I am going to go down. You were not impressed

:36:49. > :36:55.by some of the formations use from Ross County. I have not been

:36:56. > :37:01.impressed. Now he plays a diamond and all night long Inverness had

:37:02. > :37:06.freedom in wide areas. John Robertson and I were talking about

:37:07. > :37:13.it. You see it played wide. Look at the room they have. It is the

:37:14. > :37:19.strange formation to set up against Inverness. If you have not got any

:37:20. > :37:30.white men supporting the fullbacks it will cause trouble. It is a great

:37:31. > :37:35.goal, do not get me wrong. He is in a wide area. It was evident all

:37:36. > :37:43.night long and he did stick it we well. He had the freedom of the

:37:44. > :37:48.pitch. Now let as look at the premiership table as it stands. St

:37:49. > :37:57.Mirren cannot be caught so it looks like the championship next season

:37:58. > :38:05.for hearts. Partick Thistle now in the second bottom spot. Kilmarnock a

:38:06. > :38:14.point behind Hibernian and Hibernian take on Aberdeen tomorrow night at

:38:15. > :38:24.Easter Road. Hibernian are in a terrible run of form. One win in

:38:25. > :38:30.their last 13 matches. Billy, can you see them getting anything from

:38:31. > :38:36.Aberdeen? You need a result from somewhere. They need inspiration.

:38:37. > :38:41.They are in by far the poor run of form out of any of the bottom four

:38:42. > :38:46.or five teams. Looking at current form I do not see them winning, they

:38:47. > :38:54.will have to play a lot better than what they have been doing. And after

:38:55. > :38:58.tomorrow night, Michael, there is a break next weekend because of the

:38:59. > :39:04.Scottish cup but the next league game is against St Mirren and St

:39:05. > :39:07.Mirren have just got to win. Their confidence will be high. They have

:39:08. > :39:13.got to find something from somewhere. We have been saying there

:39:14. > :39:20.are plenty of teams all them but if they do not win games they are in

:39:21. > :39:31.trouble of getting pulled into that play-off spot. Rangers were

:39:32. > :39:39.favourites up against Easter Ross. Rangers with a better chance.

:39:40. > :39:48.Frustrations were taken out on the post. The post was then hit by this

:39:49. > :39:52.short but it would be 0-0 after 90 minutes. Towards the end the expense

:39:53. > :40:00.managed to get the chance for Raith Rovers. The Raith Rovers fans went

:40:01. > :40:06.wild. The winners of the Ramsden's cup. Delhi, you were at this team as

:40:07. > :40:15.well. Where Raith Rovers deserved winners? -- Willie. Yes, take

:40:16. > :40:21.nothing away from Raith Rovers, we have to get them all the

:40:22. > :40:26.compliments. I did not think Rangers fans could be tortured any more this

:40:27. > :40:36.season. That was one of the worst performances I have seen. The really

:40:37. > :40:45.proud moment for these players and for Kirkcaldy as a whole as they

:40:46. > :40:49.went to collect the trophy. A fantastic evening for the players

:40:50. > :40:56.and the supporters of Raith Rovers made all the more special for

:40:57. > :41:05.beating a club the size of Rangers. They will be celebrating big time.

:41:06. > :41:11.How surprised were you, Billy, that Rangers did not win it? I did not

:41:12. > :41:31.think they would be pushovers. I was surprised however. Great stuff. And

:41:32. > :41:34.so, a busy weekend of Scottish Cup action next weekend on Sportscene.

:41:35. > :41:46.We've got highlights of the first semifinal between Rangers and Dundee

:41:47. > :41:51.United on Saturday night. We have talked about how Rangers were today.

:41:52. > :42:00.Then the United certainly have much better players and no disrespect to

:42:01. > :42:05.Raith Rovers. It is not a good game. The gap has been bridged because of

:42:06. > :42:13.the Rangers fans at Ibrox, the warm venue. It will be a good game but

:42:14. > :42:18.Rangers have to play a lot better or Dundee United will wipe the floor

:42:19. > :42:24.with them. Let's talk about that first semifinal first. You think

:42:25. > :42:29.that the United are favourites going in against Rangers? I think they

:42:30. > :42:34.probably are. The controversy around the tickets and the stadium, being

:42:35. > :42:39.at Ibrox, I think when you see a poor performance from Rangers like

:42:40. > :42:43.that and Dundee United being beaten against Celtic, Dundee United will

:42:44. > :42:48.go in with the belief that they will get something out of it. They are

:42:49. > :42:54.playing against Rangers from the third flight and if Rangers play

:42:55. > :43:02.anything like they did today Dundee United will punish them. St

:43:03. > :43:07.Johnstone yet to win any major silverware. And then on Sunday we're

:43:08. > :43:15.live at Ibrox as St Johnstone take on Aberdeen. That will be a tight

:43:16. > :43:28.one. The momentum behind Aberdeen this season, they have had such a

:43:29. > :43:35.great year so far. The tips for manager of the year, still not sure

:43:36. > :43:41.if they will finish second, still potentially fighting of Motherwell.

:43:42. > :43:46.Does he need to do more to seal the deal in terms of manager of the

:43:47. > :43:52.year? No, but I think they are favourites for the double. They have

:43:53. > :43:57.got the monkey off of their backed by getting the cup final win against

:43:58. > :44:02.Inverness. It will be closer than you think because St Johnstone

:44:03. > :44:09.played better than what the score line suggested in the 4-0 game. They

:44:10. > :44:14.would be due one but you have to fancy Aberdeen to go on and get

:44:15. > :44:21.through to the final once more. Who is in the final for you? I think it

:44:22. > :44:25.will be an Aberdeen versus Dundee United final. The focus next

:44:26. > :44:28.weekend, the Scottish Cup. Thank you. The focus this weekend, the

:44:29. > :44:32.relegation of Hearts after 31 years in the top flight of Scottish

:44:33. > :44:43.football. From all of us here, goodnight.
