0:00:20 > 0:00:25Colin Calderwood has become the second managerial casualty of the

0:00:25 > 0:00:30SPL season, sat tonight as manager Opabunmi. We will look back on his

0:00:30 > 0:00:33one year in the hot seat and review the weekend's action in their SPL

0:00:33 > 0:00:37with Craig Paterson and Premier League Player of the Month, Keith

0:00:37 > 0:00:40Laslett. Losing at home to Dunfermline yesterday turned out to

0:00:40 > 0:00:50be the final straw for Colin Calderwood. Paul Mitchell was at

0:00:50 > 0:01:16

0:01:16 > 0:01:22got a problem, as Oster McCann ghosts in to make it 1-0, Fordham

0:01:22 > 0:01:29firmer. The cross was a good one from Paul Ellis, and the finish,

0:01:29 > 0:01:39pretty tidy, from Austen McCann. Not an altered goalscorer, but the

0:01:39 > 0:01:44

0:01:44 > 0:01:51former Jumbo boots Dunfermline ahead. -- Jambo puts. That was Ryan

0:01:51 > 0:01:55Thomson closing down Graham Stack. That could have bounced anywhere.

0:01:55 > 0:02:03Concern for Colin Calderwood, just one win at home, out of six in the

0:02:03 > 0:02:11SPL, poor Hibs. The home form has to be better. The shot from Andy

0:02:11 > 0:02:16Kirkwood, and a wonderful save from Graham Stack. It was knocked back

0:02:16 > 0:02:26into the path of Andy Kirk, and he let fly, and that is a top-class

0:02:26 > 0:02:34

0:02:34 > 0:02:40save. It is to stay away, had Garry O'Connor, with a chance. Hits,

0:02:40 > 0:02:50continuing to push. The ball into the box, easily dealt with. It was

0:02:50 > 0:02:52

0:02:52 > 0:02:58deflected behind, off Boston McCann. -- Austin McCann. The second

0:02:58 > 0:03:07attempt, pushed away by Gallacher, and that was an important stop.

0:03:08 > 0:03:17There was a shout for handball. It seemed to come off the defender.

0:03:18 > 0:03:20

0:03:20 > 0:03:30Andy Dowie Had his hand cupped behind his back. That is a lovely

0:03:30 > 0:03:32

0:03:32 > 0:03:39cross, Leader of this is up, and Gallacher -- Leigh Griffiths. But

0:03:39 > 0:03:49the goalkeeper was always favourite to keep that out. That is a delight

0:03:49 > 0:03:52

0:03:52 > 0:04:00for turn. He is unlucky year, -- here, Leigh Griffiths. He worked

0:04:00 > 0:04:05some space for himself, and flashed the shot wide. That is another

0:04:05 > 0:04:15decent one. And, Garry O'Connor, three goals in his last five games

0:04:15 > 0:04:15

0:04:15 > 0:04:20for Garry O'Connor, and the header certainly tested Paul Gallacher.

0:04:20 > 0:04:29Galbraith again. Wotherspoon is there. He decides to take it

0:04:29 > 0:04:34himself. His first shot tested Paul Gallacher. His Second let

0:04:34 > 0:04:44Dunfermline off the hook. Came neatly inside, flashed the shot

0:04:44 > 0:04:53

0:04:53 > 0:05:01away, and the second attempt, Well gathered it make way. Certainly

0:05:01 > 0:05:07tested Paul Gallacher. -- gathered it neatly. That was how it finished

0:05:07 > 0:05:12at Easter Road. The final whistle just about drowned out by doing.

0:05:12 > 0:05:17There were protests outside. Lots of chants been aimed not just at

0:05:17 > 0:05:21Colin Calderwood, but at the board. He has seen plenty of Hibs in

0:05:21 > 0:05:31recent times. Maybe the surprise is that Colin Calderwood lasted this

0:05:31 > 0:05:35It has been a real struggle last season and people expected more

0:05:35 > 0:05:38this season, but when people start demonstrating after games and

0:05:38 > 0:05:45pointing the finger at the board, that is when you are the manager is

0:05:45 > 0:05:55under real pressure. Did you sense something among the Hibs players

0:05:55 > 0:05:56

0:05:56 > 0:06:02that all was not well? We started well, like Dunfermline, and the

0:06:02 > 0:06:06crowd have been getting on top of Hibs, at home. It is difficult for

0:06:06 > 0:06:15them when the away team, like we did, and then firmer, get that

0:06:15 > 0:06:20first goal. -- and Dunfermline. It is the worst possible start for

0:06:20 > 0:06:25Hibs. Colin Calderwood would have been trying to guard against that,

0:06:25 > 0:06:33and Jim Macintyre would have been telling his team in his team talk,

0:06:33 > 0:06:40to get that first goal, and they got it. The statistics cannot be

0:06:40 > 0:06:45ignored. That is not good enough. Hibs have won three of the last 20

0:06:45 > 0:06:49games in the last -- in the SPL and at Easter Road, they have had one

0:06:49 > 0:06:56victory since February. They are out of the League Cup and just

0:06:56 > 0:06:59never found consistency. Defensively, lost bad goals.

0:06:59 > 0:07:07Without Garry O'Connor's strike rate since the start of the season

0:07:07 > 0:07:12they would not have to record they have. They 15 games in a row to get

0:07:12 > 0:07:18away from the relegation zone, new players came in during the summer,

0:07:18 > 0:07:24and this season has started with more been consistently -- more

0:07:24 > 0:07:28inconsistency, and it has cost the manager his job. Fans sometimes

0:07:28 > 0:07:34turn on the smallest of things, like his demeanour on the touchline.

0:07:34 > 0:07:38The fans wanted him to be more animated. That is maybe just his

0:07:38 > 0:07:43personality. He is not going to be someone who rants and raves. But

0:07:43 > 0:07:49fans want to see that little spark, that little bit of fight from the

0:07:49 > 0:07:57team and the manager and they built that wasn't there. The

0:07:57 > 0:08:01inconsistency was the biggest thing for Hibs this season so far. The

0:08:01 > 0:08:06came to Fir Park and put us out of the cs Cup, they went to Celtic and

0:08:06 > 0:08:14got a draw, but at home, they do not seem to have picked up the

0:08:14 > 0:08:20points. Seven managers in 10 years at Hibs. John Hughes went on the

0:08:20 > 0:08:23morning of the AGM last year. It is coming up on Tuesday night. There

0:08:23 > 0:08:33could be a little bit of self- preservation going on with Roy

0:08:33 > 0:08:34

0:08:34 > 0:08:40Peachtree, and the directors. -- Rod Petrie. If I had to face angry

0:08:40 > 0:08:44shareholders asking difficult questions, I would do something

0:08:44 > 0:08:49about the manager now. Because now he can try to be positive and talk

0:08:49 > 0:08:54about who he is going to bring in. The fans are calling for change and

0:08:54 > 0:08:58they have been, for a while. Now, Hibs have to get the right man in.

0:08:58 > 0:09:03They have had a lot of managers and needs someone who could see the

0:09:03 > 0:09:08club forward. Michael O'Neill has done so well with Shamrock Rovers

0:09:08 > 0:09:12getting into the group stages of the Europa League. He has the Hibs

0:09:12 > 0:09:15connections and he is doing well in the League of Ireland. But it is

0:09:15 > 0:09:20another young, inexperienced manager. That list of managers that

0:09:20 > 0:09:26have been there, over the past few years. Bobby Williamson has

0:09:26 > 0:09:29probably the most experienced. Many managers have been given a early

0:09:29 > 0:09:33job at a big club like kids, so maybe it is time for a more

0:09:33 > 0:09:38experienced campaigner. There are plenty of them out there. Craig

0:09:38 > 0:09:42Brown turn things around that Motherwell. There are people you

0:09:42 > 0:09:45thought who were finished, who are now back in the game, at back in

0:09:45 > 0:09:52the frame for jobs like this. It will be interesting to see whether

0:09:52 > 0:09:55Hibs goal for a your manager or someone a bit older. It was the

0:09:55 > 0:10:02first victory in 10 games for Dunfermline, so it was a massive

0:10:02 > 0:10:06for them. And they struck early on, so that was a massive for them.

0:10:06 > 0:10:11think Jim Macintyre's team-talk would have been to get out there,

0:10:11 > 0:10:21get the first goal and keep this quiet. A great ball into the box

0:10:21 > 0:10:29

0:10:29 > 0:10:33and a great finish from Boston McCann. -- Austin McCann. Fir Park

0:10:33 > 0:10:41was a must-win game for Celtic today if they were to keep Rangers

0:10:41 > 0:10:51in their sights. Celtic lost on her last appearance there. Penalty kick,

0:10:51 > 0:10:52

0:10:52 > 0:10:55Motherwell. Motherwell, incredibly, two up. For the return of Celtic to

0:10:55 > 0:10:59Fir Park, Steven Havel was fit to play despite being stretchered off

0:10:59 > 0:11:03at Inverness last weekend. Steven Jennings returned after back

0:11:03 > 0:11:08trouble and Shaun Hutchings and drop out. Celtic replaced Glenn

0:11:08 > 0:11:18Loovens with Thomas Rogne, and Kris Commons was a starter, in place of

0:11:18 > 0:11:26

0:11:26 > 0:11:32does so, and he gets it back. Tom Hateley with the cross, and

0:11:32 > 0:11:36Motherwell, with the lead. Great header from Michael Higdon.

0:11:36 > 0:11:44Motherwell's top goalscorer gets his 7th of the season. He just

0:11:44 > 0:11:48glanced it past Fraser Forster. Poor defending from Celtic.

0:11:48 > 0:11:58Motherwell have failed to score in six of their last seven games

0:11:58 > 0:12:04

0:12:05 > 0:12:14Cuts it back. And it is Tom Hateley who sense it over the top. But to

0:12:14 > 0:12:22play from Celtic. Corner kick, taken by Kris Commons. Georgios

0:12:22 > 0:12:26Samaras knocks it on, and Antony Stokes draws Celtic level. It is

0:12:26 > 0:12:31his first Celtic goal against Motherwell, flicked on by Georgios

0:12:31 > 0:12:39Samaras, and how can you leave Antony Stokes with so much space?

0:12:39 > 0:12:49It is an excellent strike, guiding it past the goalkeeper. Neil Lennon,

0:12:49 > 0:12:51

0:12:51 > 0:12:55delighted, but junior side on. -- urging his side on. Credit to

0:12:55 > 0:13:05Georgios Samaras, who made something out of nothing. He drove

0:13:05 > 0:13:26

0:13:26 > 0:13:32it well, and it hit the inside leg box. Michael Higdon gets the shot

0:13:32 > 0:13:41away. But no real threat to the goalkeeper. Motherwell, unbeaten in

0:13:41 > 0:13:45the last five games at the SPL. That could turn out to be a good

0:13:45 > 0:13:51ball. Antony Stokes takes the touch, but Randolph makes the save. He

0:13:51 > 0:14:01came out and narrow the angle. Just on-site, Antony Stokes gets the

0:14:01 > 0:14:12

0:14:12 > 0:14:22Jennings. Good tackle. He calmly won the ball. That was a good

0:14:22 > 0:14:29

0:14:29 > 0:14:34That has cut inside. He is trying to set it up. It would not come

0:14:34 > 0:14:44down. Fraser Forster will bullying might have the ball. Clever from

0:14:44 > 0:14:44

0:14:44 > 0:14:51Keith Lasley. Did not sit down in time. Celtic are having to defend.

0:14:51 > 0:15:00An ice-pack healed. And a better back heel! A chance now for Murphy.

0:15:00 > 0:15:08Driving for the byline. Good stop. A little bit risky. Getting away

0:15:08 > 0:15:15from Keith Lasley. Forster struggled for a second. Paddy

0:15:15 > 0:15:21McCourt, a couple of goals against Motherwell, including a bonus. Lays

0:15:21 > 0:15:28the ball off to Anthony Stokes. Here is a chance. Celtic could

0:15:28 > 0:15:32trailed after 11 minutes a lead with 10 minutes to play. The

0:15:32 > 0:15:35difference comes from the boot of Paddy McCourt. A great run.

0:15:35 > 0:15:42Threatening to pass through to Anthony Stokes. He had work to do

0:15:42 > 0:15:49with Gary Hooper, his partner. Celtic take the lead. It is the

0:15:49 > 0:15:55seventh of the season for the Englishman. Clancy. Doing a little

0:15:56 > 0:16:00work there. The referee spotted it. He glanced across at his assistant.

0:16:00 > 0:16:07That is a red card. It is the second red card of the season for

0:16:07 > 0:16:17mother well as Tim Clancy goes off. He kicked out at Gary Hooper with

0:16:17 > 0:16:17

0:16:17 > 0:16:20eight minutes to play. Celtic set It was a huge game for us. On the

0:16:20 > 0:16:25back of Thursday night, we were confident. We are delighted with

0:16:25 > 0:16:30the way we played, apart from how we started again conceding that

0:16:30 > 0:16:34early goal. But the response was excellent as was the discipline for

0:16:34 > 0:16:41a big game. It was quite physical. Today, we did not get what we

0:16:41 > 0:16:47deserved. It was a terrific game. We were merited one point. At a bit

0:16:47 > 0:16:52of magic by Paddy McCourt has undone us. Nothing but pride and

0:16:52 > 0:16:58positives about today's game, borrowing the result. It has been a

0:16:58 > 0:17:04poor start. Fourthly with these last two games, we have turned a

0:17:04 > 0:17:10bit of a corner. The manager said we have only lost one in 12. But it

0:17:10 > 0:17:13is the drawers and stuff. We hope we have turned the corner and come

0:17:14 > 0:17:18today string of results together. There were serious celebrations

0:17:18 > 0:17:21from Celtic both at the winning goal and the final whistle. It

0:17:21 > 0:17:26seems that is a tribute to Motherwell in out of Celtic find

0:17:26 > 0:17:30the game today. Yes. Just a reflection on how big they felt the

0:17:30 > 0:17:37game was. It was a big game for us all so. We got off to a great start.

0:17:37 > 0:17:46But we could not see it through to the end. Pretty disappointed. We

0:17:46 > 0:17:51were good value for one. At least. You can sense how manager - like

0:17:51 > 0:17:55how sick the manager is. Yes! They were lucky to get three points --

0:17:55 > 0:17:58we were unlucky to go three points last week. You were pleasantly

0:17:58 > 0:18:04supplies were never the goal was given. I think you thought this was

0:18:04 > 0:18:11offside! I expected the flying to go up. The ball gets played an and

0:18:11 > 0:18:20I expected the flight to go up. Matthews is playing alongside. He

0:18:20 > 0:18:29finished it well. It was a great start. That was one to nothing for.

0:18:29 > 0:18:33A bit of a mother will switch off at the back this time. Yes. It is

0:18:33 > 0:18:38well run by Georgios Samaras. But Anthony Stokes just find space in

0:18:38 > 0:18:42their. The great strikers do it. They pop up at the back post. Loads

0:18:42 > 0:18:46of them have made careers out of this kind of thing. He has gambled.

0:18:46 > 0:18:51He has gone into space and the ball fell perfectly. But as a great

0:18:51 > 0:18:57finish. And a bigger impact made by Paddy McCourt off the bench for

0:18:57 > 0:19:02Celtic, carving out the winning goal for Gary Hooper. Yes. There

0:19:02 > 0:19:06are two substitutions had a massive bearing on the game. We felt quite

0:19:06 > 0:19:14comfortable up until that point. Paddy McCourt does what he does. A

0:19:14 > 0:19:23great slip ball into Anthony Stokes. And Hooper finishes it. In massive

0:19:23 > 0:19:27reaction from Celtic. Boss-eyed! When the ball comes across. He was

0:19:27 > 0:19:32offside - Nahki is on side. The defender's move out and try and

0:19:32 > 0:19:37catch him offside but the defenders cannot get back. Can we not go back

0:19:37 > 0:19:42to the good old days when you were offside for not? You have got a

0:19:42 > 0:19:47good score but a pretty thin score. You do not want suspensions. Was

0:19:47 > 0:19:53this red card to Tim Clancy avoidable? I think it was. When you

0:19:53 > 0:20:00see it again, I think Tim has kicked out. I don't think there

0:20:00 > 0:20:03were many complaints afterwards in the dressing room. It is a big blow.

0:20:03 > 0:20:08He is out for three matches and he has done well since he joined from

0:20:08 > 0:20:17Kilmarnock. Shone Hutchison will probably come in. Hopefully we will

0:20:17 > 0:20:24not miss him too much. The 35-year- old Dutch international was

0:20:24 > 0:20:28possibly going on to a short-term contract. What words from the

0:20:28 > 0:20:33supporters' lips? As long as you're paying Freddie as he plays. And

0:20:33 > 0:20:37you're not giving money for nothing. Have become cere determined to get

0:20:37 > 0:20:42in the team and do something for Celtic, it is money well spent.

0:20:42 > 0:20:47Quality player with the quality left third. If he is as good as to

0:20:47 > 0:20:53remember, it could be a big plus for him. The wind is to become a

0:20:53 > 0:20:57goal machine? We seem to have a few here! That is a good question. I

0:20:57 > 0:21:02wish I had discovered this 10 years ago. It has been a good little

0:21:02 > 0:21:07spell for me since the start of the season. I have managed to add a few

0:21:07 > 0:21:15calls to my game. Long may it continue. It is a reflection on how

0:21:15 > 0:21:24we are playing as 18. We have a bit of a licence to get up and support.

0:21:24 > 0:21:29You did say you shut your eyes before you had this one expect yes!

0:21:29 > 0:21:33There are not too many goalkeepers to have scored two goals! Of the

0:21:33 > 0:21:38Christmas card list there. It has been a good little spell. Long may

0:21:38 > 0:21:48it continue. Match of the weekend - nine goals

0:21:48 > 0:21:49

0:21:49 > 0:21:52at Rugby Park. Kilmarnock against Shiels said same again to the

0:21:52 > 0:22:00players who won at Tynecastle last weekend if to make it four games on

0:22:00 > 0:22:07weekend. Johnny Hayes made his first start since August. David

0:22:07 > 0:22:11Proctor to current events. Caledonian Thistle currently

0:22:11 > 0:22:21propping up the Scottish Premier League. This is David Davis. It is

0:22:21 > 0:22:22

0:22:22 > 0:22:32a decent head. Hand away by Anssi Jaakkola. A good run in. Anssi

0:22:32 > 0:22:32

0:22:32 > 0:22:39Jaakkola did enough to keep it out. Gregory tardy. Ford for Andrew

0:22:39 > 0:22:46Shinnie and out for a core of corner kicks. It has come off the

0:22:46 > 0:22:51arm off Momo Sissoko. That is a lovely flick for Dean Shiels. Only

0:22:51 > 0:22:59the keeper to beat and he has done it. Come on a current front. There

0:22:59 > 0:23:03has been on the back foot and, but that is terrific attacking play

0:23:03 > 0:23:13from Kenny Shiels. A really lovely goal, epitomising Kilmarnock's

0:23:13 > 0:23:13

0:23:13 > 0:23:18approach. David Davis. The past one challenge and a second. The keeper

0:23:18 > 0:23:22cannot hold it. It was off the bar. Offside anyway. He does not think

0:23:22 > 0:23:32he was. Just as well that he was for Hearts. Given the open goal

0:23:32 > 0:23:34

0:23:34 > 0:23:39that he must. -- missed. A short corner back to Andrew Shinnie. Can

0:23:39 > 0:23:44he get the ball across? He has found the back of the net. Terrific

0:23:44 > 0:23:49finish from Andrew Shinnie. They really well-worked corner kicks.

0:23:49 > 0:23:52Straight from the training ground, you suspect. Andrew Shinnie at the

0:23:52 > 0:24:01tightest of angles manages to squeeze it past Anssi Jaakkola for

0:24:01 > 0:24:11the equaliser. Flicked on by Gregory tardy. He managed to get

0:24:11 > 0:24:18the shot in. -- Gregory Tade. Again, Anssi Jaakkola got to it.

0:24:18 > 0:24:25Eventually, Kilmarnock... Not quite. At last, they scramble it clear.

0:24:25 > 0:24:29But Anssi Jaakkola twice forced into good saves. There might well

0:24:29 > 0:24:39have been an army use their by Momo Sissoko. That would have been a

0:24:39 > 0:24:40

0:24:40 > 0:24:44harsh penalty. Allowed to turn. Allowed plenty of space to take the

0:24:44 > 0:24:53shot and boy does he make good use of it. If a fine finish from Johnny

0:24:53 > 0:25:02Hayes. It really opens up for him. The low drive beat Anssi Jaakkola

0:25:02 > 0:25:09at his near post. Kenny Shiels. For Fila. Skipping past the challenges.

0:25:09 > 0:25:13Paul Hefferman's shot blocked. The referee unmoved by that. The Paul

0:25:13 > 0:25:20Hefferman wanted a penalty for the use of the arm. Kilmarnock are

0:25:21 > 0:25:27going for broke. They have brought on Silver and Deighton. It is

0:25:27 > 0:25:31Andrew Shinnie! He has increased the advantage! That was really

0:25:31 > 0:25:39slack play just gifting the ball to Andrew Shinnie and he did not mess

0:25:39 > 0:25:46about. And Anssi Jaakkola again beaten for the third time.

0:25:46 > 0:25:49Kilmarnock trying to get a way back into this match. Gregory Tade got

0:25:49 > 0:25:53there before me to own. He has three on goal. He has plenty still

0:25:53 > 0:25:58to do. But it is only Anssi Jaakkola in front of and full stops

0:25:58 > 0:26:07a fine finish from Gregory Tade. A great run and composed finishing

0:26:07 > 0:26:15from the big striker. He ran 50 yards. Then he slotted into the

0:26:16 > 0:26:20empty net. That is his fifth goal of the season. Again, Kilmarnock

0:26:20 > 0:26:26giving the ball away really cheaply and Gregory Tade could be in for

0:26:26 > 0:26:33his second and perhaps if Caledonian Thistle's face. You can

0:26:33 > 0:26:40hear the booing from the home fans. There are not impressed. -- they

0:26:40 > 0:26:48are not impressed. Davies next it and Gregory Tade as on the move.

0:26:48 > 0:26:51Davis's thinking about a solo run. There is a hat-trick! That is

0:26:51 > 0:26:57embarrassing for Kilmarnock. Caledonian Thistle are an absolute

0:26:57 > 0:27:02dream land. What a run by do this. And then Andrew Shinnie just nipped

0:27:02 > 0:27:12in and beat Anssi Jaakkola with some ease. A consummate finish by

0:27:12 > 0:27:13

0:27:13 > 0:27:21the former Rangers man. James Dayton going into place. He is

0:27:21 > 0:27:25taken down - a penalty kick. No doubt about that. That was a rash

0:27:25 > 0:27:30challenge by the winner. And now, Dean Shiels with the chance to get

0:27:30 > 0:27:40his second of the match. If he has got it. Surely no way back for

0:27:40 > 0:27:40

0:27:40 > 0:27:49Kilmarnock in this match. 5-2 they trail, now. That is good running by

0:27:49 > 0:27:54Richie Foran. Andrew Shinnie. Trying to hold a line, another

0:27:54 > 0:27:59great finish from Gregory Tade. It is 6-2 for Caledonian Thistle. What

0:27:59 > 0:28:06an afternoon there haven't. Kilmarnock's defence just torn

0:28:06 > 0:28:11apart. But what a game of football this has been. It might not be over

0:28:11 > 0:28:15yet. Here is Paul Heffernan. Kilmarnock have a third. They have

0:28:15 > 0:28:22scored six goals in their last two and games. They have only got one

0:28:22 > 0:28:31point to show for it. Beaten rather easily there. Paul Hefferman's goal

0:28:31 > 0:28:34Keith, your team stole the points in Inverness last weekend. I take

0:28:34 > 0:28:39it you're quite pleased for them and they deserve a big win like

0:28:39 > 0:28:45that. They dominated a lot of the match.

0:28:45 > 0:28:50Yes. You heard in the after-match interview, he could not understand

0:28:50 > 0:28:57how they lost that game. They were unfortunate, so I'm sure he is

0:28:57 > 0:29:00delighted. I did not expect that 6- 3 scoreline, but I think he knew a

0:29:00 > 0:29:07performance like that was round the corner. And they came back from a

0:29:07 > 0:29:12goal down. And the real quality goal that is as well. It is a great

0:29:12 > 0:29:17partnership. I up the far post and Nick get in on the near post. A

0:29:17 > 0:29:21brilliant start. The defenders are going one way the back heel kills

0:29:21 > 0:29:28them and then a tremendous finish. Andrew Shinnie looks a pretty handy

0:29:28 > 0:29:33player. He was very good against you last weekend. Yes. That is from

0:29:33 > 0:29:42the training ground, that one. We were wary of that last week. He

0:29:42 > 0:29:52finished it really well. A great strike. He drives inside and finds

0:29:52 > 0:29:59

0:29:59 > 0:30:06At that point, Kenny Shiels made a double attacking substitution. He

0:30:06 > 0:30:11brought on Dayton and Silva. cannot afford to be giving the ball

0:30:11 > 0:30:15way in you're on half like that. We knew too that that does not matter

0:30:16 > 0:30:21who is on and what position they play because that is just about

0:30:21 > 0:30:27pass. Yes, that kills your own team because once they are in possession

0:30:27 > 0:30:32they spread the play. There is still a lot of work to do. It is a

0:30:32 > 0:30:42quality finish. From the point of view of Kilmarnock, it is a poor

0:30:42 > 0:30:42

0:30:42 > 0:30:47goal to lose. Sometimes you wonder if Tade has the composure, but that

0:30:47 > 0:30:53is a good finish. He is a real handful, and he puts defenders

0:30:53 > 0:30:58under pressure. Gray play from David Davies. And Andrew Shinnie

0:30:58 > 0:31:02completes his hat-trick. The one- on-one with the goalkeeper, you

0:31:02 > 0:31:07should finish. And he finds the bottom corner. Hearts have been

0:31:07 > 0:31:14making more headlines of the pitch than on it. Their manager, Paulo

0:31:14 > 0:31:24Sergio, was warned about his behaviour last week and he has

0:31:24 > 0:31:33

0:31:33 > 0:31:43another disciplinary hearing coming In Paisley this weekend, and

0:31:43 > 0:31:49

0:31:49 > 0:31:59silence was observed by everyone in attendance at St Mirren Park.

0:31:59 > 0:32:04

0:32:04 > 0:32:09there was plenty of good football to warm the heart. Paul McGowan

0:32:09 > 0:32:13warned the gloves of Hearts Stephen Marian Kello. Interesting times for

0:32:13 > 0:32:18the Hearts boss, Paulo Sergio, who was a study of poise and

0:32:18 > 0:32:23tranquillity. His goalkeeper, Marian Kello, would be looking

0:32:23 > 0:32:30around all over the place all afternoon. Graham Carey, the son of

0:32:30 > 0:32:34Ian Blair denied. In the second half, it was the tarmac of St

0:32:34 > 0:32:39Mirren keeper Craig Sampson to keep the sheet clean. Eggert Jonsson

0:32:39 > 0:32:45denied here. Gesticulations from Danny Lennon followed. Not sure

0:32:45 > 0:32:50what they meant or whether this next St Mirren attack was quite

0:32:50 > 0:32:57what he envisaged. This up and under have Marian Kello ones --

0:32:57 > 0:33:01sweating once again. After a week dominated by almost financial

0:33:01 > 0:33:06headlines for Hearts, the fans got their money's worth out of this

0:33:06 > 0:33:11game with plenty of chances created by both sides. Steven Thompson just

0:33:11 > 0:33:14hitting the top of the bar. The former Rangers man hauling himself

0:33:14 > 0:33:21at the ball from Graham Carey across the penalty area. It seems

0:33:21 > 0:33:27certain that Hearts would break the deadlock when Eggert Jonsson gave

0:33:27 > 0:33:30the ball an almighty kick, but somehow, it stayed out. A quickly

0:33:30 > 0:33:40taken St Mirren free kick took Hearts by surprise. Nigel

0:33:40 > 0:33:44Hasselbaink denied by Marian Kello. Back at the other end, Hearts would

0:33:44 > 0:33:49have won last chance to break the St Mirren defence and almost got

0:33:49 > 0:33:59the goal of the season. Be a bit older, with a stupendous efforts

0:33:59 > 0:34:07

0:34:07 > 0:34:11that smashed back off the post. -- David Obua. Hearts are still not

0:34:11 > 0:34:15speaking to the media, but their owner Vladimir Romanov has released

0:34:15 > 0:34:21another statement tonight. He says he will still continue to support

0:34:21 > 0:34:30Hearts financially, but he adds at the end of the statement this line

0:34:30 > 0:34:35: should anyone wishing to buy the club form an orderly queue?

0:34:35 > 0:34:44wouldn't have thought so, massive debts, world recession, I think

0:34:44 > 0:34:48buyers are going to be up to come You would expect the finished

0:34:48 > 0:34:53behind Rangers and Celtic are very season as that of Paulson Scottish

0:34:53 > 0:34:59football, but if he goes I have no idea what would happen. There is

0:34:59 > 0:35:03talk of sharing a ground with Edinburgh rugby. But you want the

0:35:03 > 0:35:06derbies at Easter Road and that Tynecastle. You want the big clubs

0:35:06 > 0:35:09flourishing right now and Hearts are definitely one of these clubs.

0:35:09 > 0:35:18Hopefully they can get over this and get back to play football. But

0:35:18 > 0:35:22it looks like massive cutbacks are going to have to happen. Dundee

0:35:22 > 0:35:30United were the last team to beat Rangers and their SPL. That was

0:35:30 > 0:35:36back on the 2nd April. David Robinson - it is 1-1. An Steven

0:35:36 > 0:35:46Naismith has made it 2-1. And John M Russell has scored a spectacular

0:35:46 > 0:35:48

0:35:48 > 0:35:53equaliser. -- journey muscle -- Johnny Russell. Two changes to

0:35:53 > 0:35:57yesterday's Rangers team with Steven Naismith out for the season

0:35:57 > 0:36:01and Kyle Lafferty and Lee McCulloch also on the injured list. Kyle

0:36:01 > 0:36:06Barclay and Matt McKay started. Garry Kenneth was back after injury

0:36:06 > 0:36:16after missing the victory at Dunfermline. Liam Macleod was

0:36:16 > 0:36:17

0:36:17 > 0:36:23domestic visiting team to win here. Rangers have gone on an unbeaten

0:36:23 > 0:36:33one since then, on League business. You would always prefer it on his

0:36:33 > 0:36:42head, Jon Daly, in that kind of area. The left foot just give way.

0:36:42 > 0:36:49-- gave way. Rangers have their stranglehold of the SPL intact,

0:36:49 > 0:36:59today. That is a Jelavic, and that is one I Brazil. Rangers made that

0:36:59 > 0:36:59

0:37:00 > 0:37:09look easy. Matt McKay, in for a late start this afternoon. He

0:37:10 > 0:37:28

0:37:28 > 0:37:38floated the ball in for Jelavic, again. He had his back to goal.

0:37:38 > 0:37:44

0:37:44 > 0:37:48don't deserve to be behind. That was a good ball in from Dixon. What

0:37:48 > 0:37:55a challenge from Sasa Papac cross stop this is crucial from the

0:37:55 > 0:38:05Bosnian. This was all about the challenge from Sasa Papac on Jon

0:38:05 > 0:38:14

0:38:14 > 0:38:24similar fashion to the first. Garry Kenneth. Finally, enough, he has

0:38:24 > 0:38:28

0:38:28 > 0:38:35scored from that kind of range at Kilmarnock last season. Gregg Wylde

0:38:36 > 0:38:44End rape space. He has chopped down by Dixon, and Brian Winter gives

0:38:44 > 0:38:53the penalty. No doubt about that. Gregg Wylde, the Rangers substitute,

0:38:53 > 0:38:57went down. And it is Jelavic again. That is 11 per the season. Rangers

0:38:57 > 0:39:02without Steven Naismith for the rest of the campaign. The onus is

0:39:02 > 0:39:12on Jelavic. And he has stepped up to the plate once more. That is as

0:39:12 > 0:39:27

0:39:27 > 0:39:32nothing. -- they are back in it. 17 minutes to go. Nothing Allan

0:39:32 > 0:39:42McGregor could do about this. But it to the spot. He does what he

0:39:42 > 0:39:58

0:39:58 > 0:40:03That may well be the final touch, of the Dundee United defender.

0:40:03 > 0:40:13Jelavic was looking for that trick. He is not going to get it. This is

0:40:13 > 0:40:17

0:40:17 > 0:40:26an own goal. Three for Rangers, and three points as well. Into injury

0:40:26 > 0:40:36time. Rangers, trying to see this one out. John Mack ration is the

0:40:36 > 0:40:38

0:40:38 > 0:40:44linesman on the governor's stance side. -- -- MacPherson is the

0:40:44 > 0:40:48linesman on the Govan stand side. Top pocket, a red card. That is for

0:40:48 > 0:40:53something that happened off the ball. Willo Flood was involved as

0:40:53 > 0:40:58well. That was spotted by the assistant referee. That is why

0:40:58 > 0:41:04Gregg Wylde has been ordered off. Yellow cards for Willo Flood and

0:41:04 > 0:41:09Kyle Bartlett. It all seemed rather unnecessary. From the point of view

0:41:09 > 0:41:11of the Rangers man. Rangers 12 points ahead of both Motherwell and

0:41:11 > 0:41:17points ahead of both Motherwell and Celtic. Any stopping them becoming

0:41:17 > 0:41:21champions again? The son seemed so at the moment. They have not been

0:41:21 > 0:41:26at the best in recent weeks but are still getting the three points,

0:41:26 > 0:41:32getting the job done. That has been a feature of their play, and it was

0:41:32 > 0:41:36at the end of last season as well. Jelavic has been the main player.

0:41:36 > 0:41:41They have that combination of been solid defensively and their

0:41:41 > 0:41:47finishing continues to be clinical. Ruthlessly efficient. They know how

0:41:47 > 0:41:54to win games and do not alter the pattern. A very similar goal to the

0:41:54 > 0:42:00one they scored at Tannadice. Good header from Jelavic. That was an

0:42:00 > 0:42:10absolute duty. Aberdeen start of the game well. Rangers get half a

0:42:10 > 0:42:15chance. And there is laughter. Absolutely clinical. -- Lafferty.

0:42:15 > 0:42:22The same at Hearts. Hearts dominated possession but the first

0:42:23 > 0:42:32jazz Rangers get, Steven Naismith finds the back of the net. -- the

0:42:33 > 0:42:33

0:42:33 > 0:42:38first chance Rangers get. What about this red card incident?

0:42:38 > 0:42:44Flood, he just walks away. I do not think there is much contact. I am

0:42:44 > 0:42:49not sure that that is a red card. But the linesman is right there.

0:42:49 > 0:42:54And he flags for it. There was a little kick out, but look at the

0:42:54 > 0:42:58reaction from Willo Flood. He just walks away. And it is a red card.

0:42:58 > 0:43:04He will miss a few matches for violent conduct, which is a blow

0:43:04 > 0:43:10for Rangers. That was very much avoidable. And when you do not have

0:43:10 > 0:43:13the biggest of squash you do not want needless a spacious. He has,

0:43:13 > 0:43:17and they are already missing Steven Naismith, they will need as many

0:43:17 > 0:43:24first-team players as they possibly can because there are some

0:43:24 > 0:43:29difficult games coming up and now you have players injured, so it is

0:43:29 > 0:43:33annoying for Ally McCoist, because it was avoidable. You go back a few

0:43:33 > 0:43:38years, that is never a sending off, but it is another player not

0:43:38 > 0:43:41available for next week for Rangers. A quick check on the Clydesdale

0:43:41 > 0:43:46Bank Premier League. Celtic have reclaimed second spot from

0:43:46 > 0:43:51Motherwell on goal difference. Both 12 points then Rangers. It has

0:43:51 > 0:43:54certainly tightened up at the bottom. Inverness and Dunfermline

0:43:54 > 0:44:00have made progress but Hibs have lost a manager and slip to within

0:44:00 > 0:44:07one point of the bottom. Aberdeen and St Johnstone player like when
