:01:39. > :01:44.One name leads out there, Kallum McGregor starts competitively for

:01:45. > :01:57.the first time. He was a star last season. Despite a good preseason,

:01:58. > :02:05.one player is on the bench. The referee is Greek. He is 36 years old

:02:06. > :02:15.and from Athens. Celtic made it last year, but they turned it round

:02:16. > :02:18.against the Kazakhstan side and their manager Neil Lennon decided --

:02:19. > :02:32.said it was his biggest achievement and the ball. It is incredible that

:02:33. > :02:39.it was a year that Celtic were taking on Cliftonville. It is likely

:02:40. > :02:43.that they will ask more team -- questions than the Northern Irish

:02:44. > :02:46.team did. Former Celtic striker and current Scotland assistant boss Mark

:02:47. > :02:51.McGhee is alongside me. How do you see it going? It can only go

:02:52. > :02:58.Celtic's way, lots of goals in the teams with Commons. They will have

:02:59. > :03:02.to start with the right frame of mind. We saw them a year ago at this

:03:03. > :03:12.stage having to qualify through the sort of games. They concentrated in

:03:13. > :03:20.did the job may need to get themselves into the group stages. It

:03:21. > :03:24.is all getting very wheel -- real for the Norwegian manager drafted in

:03:25. > :03:27.as Neil Lennon's replacement, alongside him, John Collins, the

:03:28. > :03:41.former Celtic midfielder, back as assistant. Another early start

:03:42. > :03:47.without being in this accommodation is unthinkable. It would have been

:03:48. > :03:52.stressed to Ronny Deila early on in the negotiations that brought him

:03:53. > :03:55.here to Celtic Park. The bread-and-butter no longer satisfies

:03:56. > :04:00.the appetites of the Celtic supporters. The title is theirs

:04:01. > :04:04.before a ball is kicked, really, as Griffiths chases the ball.

:04:05. > :04:21.He start on the right-hand side with Stokes through the middle. Textbook

:04:22. > :04:30.pass from Charlie, left foot, over the top. Into Griffiths. The touch

:04:31. > :04:38.did not get him in. They were keeping the ball, being patient,

:04:39. > :04:41.working the opposition. They do need this European adventure, Celtic.

:04:42. > :04:45.Here come the Icelandic champions, the most successful side in

:04:46. > :05:02.Icelandic football being chased down by the English, Martin. He had a

:05:03. > :05:07.loan spell in Iceland, just ten games, just a up fitness. He ended

:05:08. > :05:19.up staying. He's been here for a free veneers -- few years now.

:05:20. > :05:23.Fraser Forster, still a Celtic player, but we don't know Fama to

:05:24. > :05:29.longer. The Celtic fans will hope a lot longer -- we don't know how much

:05:30. > :05:33.longer. We were wondering if there was any prospect of him leaving and

:05:34. > :05:37.they might have compromised him by playing in the Champions League game

:05:38. > :05:42.if he moves to a club in Europe, and he is playing, so maybe that tells

:05:43. > :05:51.us he is going to be here. McGregor. An early touch him. A big night for

:05:52. > :05:55.the 21-year-old. A terrific season in England with Notts County and a

:05:56. > :05:59.good pre-season with Celtic when they were in Austria. Commons has

:06:00. > :06:05.found him. He has won a free kick as well. He has done well there.

:06:06. > :06:15.Quickly. He is stepping in off the left-hand side, on his right foot

:06:16. > :06:42.it's a difficult thing to pick up. A good opportunity with a free kick.

:06:43. > :06:52.35 yards out. Stokes leaves it for Munro. Van Dijk. -- Mulgrew. Another

:06:53. > :07:06.one that Celtic will hope stays at the club is coming campaign. I

:07:07. > :07:09.thought maybe he could have moved his feet quicker and could have

:07:10. > :07:44.headed it across goal. Just a little bit high. Mulgrew, firing it out to

:07:45. > :07:53.lusty, who missed so much of last season through injury. -- two

:07:54. > :08:01.lasted. -- Lustig. Mulgrew is skippering the side. Scott Brown out

:08:02. > :08:05.for. -- for the foreseeable future thanks to the horrible hamstring

:08:06. > :08:09.injury he picked up against Rapid Vienna. Griffiths tries to keep it

:08:10. > :08:32.alive. Just stepping away from Baldi. In

:08:33. > :08:39.from Ambrose. Mulgrew. Izaguirre. Stokes is trying to work it back to

:08:40. > :08:42.the Hondurans. Strong defending, in the writeback area. Hauksson, now

:08:43. > :09:09.Martin. -- in the writeback area. That is what you need when striker

:09:10. > :09:11.becomes isolated, when the opposition are dominating, when it

:09:12. > :09:18.is up there, you need to keep it. He has done well for his team.

:09:19. > :09:51.KR had been on a good run until last week when they lost to the bottom

:09:52. > :09:56.side, or at least they were the bottom side, until they came out as

:09:57. > :10:02.2-0 winners last Thursday night with a goal in each half. Before that,

:10:03. > :10:08.five wins in a row for KR Reykjavik. Ambrose, sliding it through for

:10:09. > :10:13.Lustig. Decent looking cross and Griffiths was waiting. Decent cross

:10:14. > :10:18.into a good area, but you are right, Leigh Griffiths was waiting for it

:10:19. > :10:21.and he has to be on the move and get across people, but instead he was a

:10:22. > :10:31.bit flat-footed and did not give himself any opportunity to get on

:10:32. > :10:34.what the end of was a good cross. Baldur Sigurdsson is playing just in

:10:35. > :10:39.front of the four-man defence, and he got it clear.

:10:40. > :10:52.Celtic's top scorer last season. 32 and he's not even an out and out

:10:53. > :11:01.striker. Very difficult to replicate that. Scotland's Player of the Year,

:11:02. > :11:04.a fantastic season and gold tally. It will be interesting under the new

:11:05. > :11:07.management to see if he is given such freedom and such license,

:11:08. > :11:11.because a lot of the time it doesn't take too much into the defensive

:11:12. > :11:16.side of the game. I don't mean he does not work hard, but he is very

:11:17. > :11:25.effective, but it will be interesting to see how his role

:11:26. > :11:31.develops under the new manager. Hauksson, the former Iceland U21

:11:32. > :11:43.international. Plays over at right back. They actually lost a left-back

:11:44. > :11:47.today. The man on loan from Molde was expected to be here but returns

:11:48. > :11:53.to his home club in Norway this morning. According to the KR

:11:54. > :11:57.manager,, Runar Kristinsson, he also happens to be Iceland's most capped

:11:58. > :12:05.player with 104 caps. He has managed to win a trophy every

:12:06. > :12:23.season since he took the reins here. First time from Johannsson, for

:12:24. > :12:28.Griffiths. Commons. He is so unlucky. What a hit from Commons.

:12:29. > :12:33.The flag is up for offside, in the meantime. That was a wonderful

:12:34. > :12:37.effort. As you were saying, the Player of the Year in Scotland.

:12:38. > :12:42.Setting the tone already, why should he not be Player of the Year. Taking

:12:43. > :12:49.its first time. What a fantastic effort to combat of the bar. --

:12:50. > :12:52.taking it. -- to come back off the bar. Wonderful technique from

:12:53. > :12:54.Commons, we saw it so often last year, so confident outside the

:12:55. > :13:08.penalty box. Another example there. Lustig in trouble but gets the free

:13:09. > :13:11.kick. The shot was overdue because we had played ten minutes and that

:13:12. > :13:18.was the first one goal, and I think Celtic would be expecting by this

:13:19. > :13:22.stage, given the possession, to have had a few more shots on goal, but

:13:23. > :13:26.that has got it started and now we can start to see them build up the

:13:27. > :13:34.bit of confidence and maybe get some more shots away and May the 1st

:13:35. > :13:45.goal. Griffiths. One by Gunnarsson, the left-back. Wasn't expecting to

:13:46. > :13:50.start. The man from Molde, if he had been playing left-back, which he had

:13:51. > :13:53.most of the season, they are 11 games into their campaign, KR

:13:54. > :14:02.Reykjavik and that works in their favour tonight. Celtic's first

:14:03. > :14:12.competitive outing. Johannsson, who played under Ronny Deila. Won the

:14:13. > :14:17.title with him as well. Johannsson, to Commons. He looks in the mood.

:14:18. > :14:22.The goalkeeper made a real mess of that and eventually dealt with it,

:14:23. > :14:26.Stefan Magnusson. A great strike, on target, with power. Gave the

:14:27. > :14:29.goalkeeper problem and looked as though it moved a little bit. It's

:14:30. > :14:34.one the bit in the air, but the goalkeeper dealt with it well

:14:35. > :14:38.enough. -- it swung a bit. Scramble out of the corner, the first of the

:14:39. > :14:44.match. -- scrambled out for the corner.

:14:45. > :15:00.Van Dijk almost got there. Ambrose. But a free kick. One of the

:15:01. > :15:03.interesting things is the interesting relationship between

:15:04. > :15:06.McGregor and Lustig. Griffiths has to develop that as well. A couple of

:15:07. > :15:09.times when they have hit the diagonals, they are both on the

:15:10. > :15:16.touchline, so they haven't got that right yet. You watch the corner, and

:15:17. > :15:33.the referee blew his whistle before Ambrose got the shot away. It is a

:15:34. > :15:51.hip injury for Lustig. Hauksson came across. Away by Ambrose. Just

:15:52. > :15:58.dragging the ball away. The first real questions being asked of the

:15:59. > :16:09.Celtic defence there. Good work from Gunnarsson on the left-hand side.

:16:10. > :16:12.Just a word of warning. McGregor trying to search for Anthony Stokes,

:16:13. > :16:40.thumped away by Sigurdsson. Trying to find Izaguirre, who

:16:41. > :17:19.appreciate the spot by Commons. Gary Martin's sixth goal. -- sixth

:17:20. > :17:38.game of this campaign so far. Gunnarsson. Either van Dijk or

:17:39. > :17:49.Ambrose can step in with the ball and Mulgrew can fill in, so that's a

:17:50. > :17:52.good bit of security. Leigh Griffiths was a bit slow to get it.

:17:53. > :18:17.Again, taking it up the park. They do like to marauding forward

:18:18. > :18:26.from their defensive post. McGregor -- to marauding forward.

:18:27. > :18:33.Ambrose, and Izaguirre, he played all three of his country 's games at

:18:34. > :19:06.the World Cup final. Van Dijk had ambitions to be part of

:19:07. > :19:14.the Dutch squad. Izaguirre. Straight to Balde. -- Lorenzo Balbi. The

:19:15. > :19:17.pitch could have done with some rain, it is a bit sticky. The

:19:18. > :19:24.grasses along when you walk across it. It is slowing the ball down a

:19:25. > :19:36.bit -- the grass is long. Slipped through towards

:19:37. > :19:54.The long ball forward from Hauksson. Offside flag against Gary Martin.

:19:55. > :20:02.He feels he probably has something to prove.

:20:03. > :20:14.Not the best angle to be able to clarify the offside there. Flag was

:20:15. > :20:21.up as soon as Martin went on goal. Meantime, here come Celtic through

:20:22. > :20:26.Stokes. Did not catch it well, but Johannsson gets the consolation

:20:27. > :20:33.prize of a corner. Just came underneath him a little bit and

:20:34. > :20:36.forced him to side footed. The surface is a little bit slow and it

:20:37. > :20:48.didn't arrive as quick as he would have liked. Stokes with the corner.

:20:49. > :20:56.Not a bad headed clearance and it has got KR Reykjavik on their bike,

:20:57. > :21:02.and it is with Martin. That is a free kick, the referee in agreement.

:21:03. > :21:09.Again, Martin did well, running down the line. There might have been a

:21:10. > :21:15.hand on his back to give him the opportunity to go down, but again

:21:16. > :21:27.good running from him and he's taken his team up the park. Got the team a

:21:28. > :21:31.free kick, which is good. Lorenzo Balbi is over it. Scored his first

:21:32. > :21:32.for the club the same night that Luis Suarez scored his two goals

:21:33. > :21:43.against England. Celtic deal with it and it is with

:21:44. > :21:49.Callum MacGregor. A great run on the right-hand side from Leigh

:21:50. > :21:55.Griffiths. There it is with Griffiths. Loads of black and white

:21:56. > :22:03.shirts back to defend. Stokes is tossing it in. That will be easy for

:22:04. > :22:07.the goalkeeper, Stefan Magnusson. The 33-year-old in his second spell

:22:08. > :22:13.at the club. He does have Icelandic caps, ten of them, in fact. Hasn't

:22:14. > :22:21.played for them since a 4-0 defeat against Hungary a few years back. No

:22:22. > :22:26.KR Reykjavik players in the Iceland squad in the last couple of years

:22:27. > :22:31.anyway. And Iceland squad that was very close to getting to Brazil in

:22:32. > :22:42.the finals that have just finished. They lost out to Croatia in a two

:22:43. > :22:49.legged play-off. They drew 0-here -- 0-0 here, in a different part of the

:22:50. > :23:11.cash -- capital. A 2-0 defeat by Croatia through in Zagreb.

:23:12. > :23:16.The more weeks went by after the arrival of step Johannsson, the more

:23:17. > :23:24.comfortable he looked, getting into his stride -- Stephan Johansen. He

:23:25. > :23:27.had not long finish the Norwegian season before he was brought to

:23:28. > :23:41.Celtic during the January transfer window.

:23:42. > :23:49.Some legally little fouls being put out -- niggling little fouls being

:23:50. > :24:04.put in. That was Atlason. Griffiths is offside. At this stage

:24:05. > :24:08.of the season they are looking to develop the play and see things a

:24:09. > :24:12.bit earlier. Izaguirre is doing a lot of creeping down the left-hand

:24:13. > :24:15.side and there have been a couple of times he might have been put in but

:24:16. > :24:22.at this stage of the season it takes a bit longer to get it right. Grip

:24:23. > :24:24.is right on the line and it was a tight decision. I pray yes, but the

:24:25. > :24:59.right decision. -- yes, but the right decision.

:25:00. > :25:07.Celtic have six of these matches to play if they reaped -- reach the

:25:08. > :25:15.Champions League. I think it is unfair with a European pedigree like

:25:16. > :25:20.Celtic, that they have to play these rounds. One qualifying round, maybe

:25:21. > :25:25.two, but three is ridiculous for a club like Celtic. Secondly, if they

:25:26. > :25:28.approach it the way they are, these are part of the build-up. They are

:25:29. > :25:41.not playing a C Milan Barcelona. They are playing a team they should

:25:42. > :25:43.take care of. Playing at team like this in a pre-season friendly,

:25:44. > :25:54.instead of that it's competitive, which is better for the builder.

:25:55. > :26:08.Ronny Deila had plenty to say about it yesterday. All Celtic can do is

:26:09. > :26:22.keep playing well and then the other clubs can come back to Europe, like

:26:23. > :26:28.Aberdeen, then Celtic can go back and not have to play these games.

:26:29. > :26:32.Aberdeen will be joining in on Thursday and then Motherwell are up

:26:33. > :26:42.against another Icelandic side. Martin's effort. Forster holds on. A

:26:43. > :26:52.decent effort but the two centre halves, they back off and let them

:26:53. > :27:05.have a shot. He has a knife or goal, Gary Martin. KR Reykjavik are

:27:06. > :27:13.currently third in the league. And St Johnstone face lucerne of

:27:14. > :27:24.Switzerland. Saints away from home in the first leg. Celtic away from

:27:25. > :27:33.home and on the ball with Izaguirre. He evades the challenge of

:27:34. > :27:41.Sigurdsson. Celtic contrived to give it away immediately after. 20

:27:42. > :27:46.minutes gone, they have got to lose patience. They have two games to win

:27:47. > :27:52.the tie, so it is early and they've not scored yet. They could get

:27:53. > :27:58.anxious, but they shouldn't and eventually the play will go for them

:27:59. > :28:01.and they will get a goal, so they don't have to force it and start

:28:02. > :28:11.hitting long balls, just be patient and keep probing and one of the good

:28:12. > :28:14.players up front will get a goal. Celtic forfeited home advantage for

:28:15. > :28:20.the first two qualifiers and they will play at Murrayfield for the

:28:21. > :28:24.first time next week. Celtic Park being used in the opening ceremony

:28:25. > :28:28.of the Commonwealth Games morrow. The referee not happy with the

:28:29. > :28:46.challenge by older Sigurdsson, the KR captain.

:28:47. > :29:08.Mulgrew. Griffiths. Snapping at his heels.

:29:09. > :29:31.Johansen. MacGregor. Mole group things it out to Lustig. -- he pings

:29:32. > :29:41.it out to Lustig. It goes Celtic's way. Celtic finding it difficult

:29:42. > :29:45.with Reykjavik playing a tight back for an Sigurdsson in front of them,

:29:46. > :29:51.to get the ball into Commons has been difficult. He is getting

:29:52. > :29:59.frustrated. He wants the ball and he is moving it from side to side to

:30:00. > :30:10.create space but not yet been able to find a space often enough in the

:30:11. > :30:14.central area that was so effective. Celtic were 3-0 winners over

:30:15. > :30:19.Cliftonville in the first leg at this stage last season and scored

:30:20. > :30:23.another couple at Celtic Park to comfortably go through. Not quite as

:30:24. > :30:30.comfortable against the Swedish side in the following round, the third

:30:31. > :30:35.qualifying round and then what an experience that Celtic, 2-0 down in

:30:36. > :30:40.the second leg, then won 3-0 with a last-minute goal from James Forrest,

:30:41. > :30:45.a ?50 million goal that took Celtic into the group stages again. Looking

:30:46. > :30:55.for a hat-trick of group stage appearances. A long way to go.

:30:56. > :31:11.Picked up by Josepsson. Very deft from Sigurdsson. He is now on the

:31:12. > :31:21.ball. Hauksson. Back to him. We have seen plenty of Martin, and he is on

:31:22. > :31:25.it again. Not a bad delivery either. Lustig had to be at his station and

:31:26. > :31:30.aware of the thread. Lovely touch by Griffiths. Getting no sympathy from

:31:31. > :31:38.the referee. The cross from Gunnison. Pressure here for Celtic

:31:39. > :31:49.to withstand. Yet it is blocked. Griffiths has made the recovery

:31:50. > :31:58.frustrated with the past. That is Griffiths. It is ambitious. The

:31:59. > :32:02.goalkeeper has slightly shifted out the centre of the goal and he tried

:32:03. > :32:09.to hit the long one back into him but didn't quite catch it and he

:32:10. > :32:14.recovers. Not a ridiculous idea for someone of his ability to go there.

:32:15. > :32:20.There was a decent period of pressure just before that. I think

:32:21. > :32:24.Celtic are aware that there is a threat. The important thing about

:32:25. > :32:28.these games is that Celtic need to get the first goal, and if they

:32:29. > :32:31.don't, they will be under pressure, but if they get the first goal, you

:32:32. > :32:35.will see them settle down and they will believe they will win the game.

:32:36. > :32:43.At the moment there is that bit of edginess and nervousness but the

:32:44. > :32:48.first goal can help diminish that. This will not help the nerves,

:32:49. > :32:55.Lorenzo Balbi winning the free kick off Ambrose. And Gary Martin is

:32:56. > :33:00.sizing this up. Everybody rather than the goalkeeper -- other than

:33:01. > :33:12.the goalkeeper up and around the penalty area for KR. Martin.

:33:13. > :33:16.from the left-hand side and they have taken them poorly, much to the

:33:17. > :33:19.pleasure of Celtic, and they have not been able to put any pressure

:33:20. > :33:24.through the free kicks as they have fallen short. KR have to take more

:33:25. > :33:29.advantage and put them in a dangerous area and they have done it

:33:30. > :33:58.with crosses but not with free kicks. Johansen. Stokes. There is a

:33:59. > :34:08.danger that Celtic are expected to win this tie, and with some degree

:34:09. > :34:26.of comfort. Even those in this part of a world were suggesting that.

:34:27. > :34:42.By think Anthony Stokes should be getting himself back up front. -- I

:34:43. > :34:56.think. Still nothing each. Sigurdsson. Up and under. Less sick

:34:57. > :35:16.felt he was felled. The -- Lustig felt he was fouled.

:35:17. > :35:32.Izaguirre wins a free kick. He is not expecting a challenge. They are

:35:33. > :35:36.not going to just lie down and be beaten in a Champions League game.

:35:37. > :35:56.They are going to fight. He needs to get on with it.

:35:57. > :36:07.Last season's group stage for Celtic yielded just one victory. They won

:36:08. > :36:10.that one and lost all the others. Miserable compared to the previous

:36:11. > :36:29.season. A no holds barred clearance there

:36:30. > :36:36.from Sigurdarson. A wistful look at the referee from Martin. He was

:36:37. > :37:02.wanting a free kick. A good initial play by Izaguirre.

:37:03. > :37:14.Lost sight of the goal of there. That was a straight pass. A bit of

:37:15. > :37:20.space, the movement got him on the ball. A good bit of play from

:37:21. > :37:27.Stokes. Much more encouraging for Celtic. As the game goes on, there

:37:28. > :37:31.will be spaces. They have to be patient, and eventually Charlie will

:37:32. > :37:42.get one of those and they will score a goal. They both have similar

:37:43. > :37:58.goal-scoring records. Stokes, 68 goals, Commons, 65 and 164 games. --

:37:59. > :38:13.in 164 games. Stokes was another who really began to crack out in the

:38:14. > :38:20.second half of the last season. Forster watched all three of

:38:21. > :38:34.England's World Cup matches from the bench, but a fantastic experience

:38:35. > :38:55.for him. Lovely ball from McGregor. He has got it in but it could just

:38:56. > :39:01.not get there. The angle. Much more encouraging. Half a dozen passes and

:39:02. > :39:08.he ends up with the ball on the left-hand side. Celtic have to build

:39:09. > :39:13.play and build opportunities. If they keep passing the ball the way

:39:14. > :39:26.they did then, they will open up this act four. -- back four.

:39:27. > :39:39.This time last year, Wilson played the last two rounds for Celtic and

:39:40. > :39:47.then left for Nottingham Forest before the final stage. A real

:39:48. > :39:53.problem this time last year, Celtic, in the respect that will then left

:39:54. > :40:00.not long after the start of the season. Hoover had also gone, the

:40:01. > :40:09.spine of the Celtic team. Look at their domestic record. You would

:40:10. > :40:31.never know it. One defeat came to Aberdeen.

:40:32. > :40:51.A free kick. The referee is on the scene. No question, Johansen hauling

:40:52. > :41:24.Balbi to the deck. Reykjav?k is hardly a metropolis,

:41:25. > :41:27.but there are six top-flight clubs playing football in the Icelandic

:41:28. > :42:01.capital. Griffiths to McGregor. This is

:42:02. > :42:11.promising from a Celtic point of view.

:42:12. > :42:20.Mulgrew did well to keep that in plate there. He was lucky. He was

:42:21. > :42:22.just trying to shepherd the ball out for the goal kick. That is lovely

:42:23. > :42:49.from. Van Dijk. Play on, says the referee. It is not

:42:50. > :43:01.a massive crowd inside the KR-vollur stadium but they are not happy. They

:43:02. > :43:11.are right on top of that. You do not often see him play on the

:43:12. > :43:20.right-hand side. You do not often see him on the right. The manager

:43:21. > :43:31.will want him to create the space for Lustig, and then he takes it on

:43:32. > :43:34.to his left foot where he can be effective. It is a good position for

:43:35. > :43:53.a player like Leigh Griffiths. Not a bad ball thereby Atlason. Well

:43:54. > :44:17.read by Ambrose. Commons has it now. Now it is with

:44:18. > :44:26.Haukur Hauksson. Returning the favour.

:44:27. > :44:35.Apart from the two Commons efforts, one that hit the bar and one that

:44:36. > :44:47.was saved Magnusson, Celtic have not really troubled the KR Reykjavik

:44:48. > :44:50.goalkeeper. There will think that the manager will want to encourage,

:44:51. > :44:56.but it has given them a picture in this first half will stop idea not

:44:57. > :45:06.think it has been bad for the game at this stage in the type of

:45:07. > :45:07.opposition. Celtic are doing probably about as well as could be

:45:08. > :45:32.expected. Johansen and Commons. McGregor.

:45:33. > :45:41.Mulgrew to Johansen. Great ball by Lustig. Great play all around from

:45:42. > :45:49.Celtic. The opportunity was set up and it was fantastic. A short pass

:45:50. > :45:54.and a chip over the back for Lustig. Neither of the players could get the

:45:55. > :46:00.end of it. Encouraging. Keep playing that, keep doing that, and Celtic

:46:01. > :46:13.will get there eventually. The quarter is taken by -- the corner is

:46:14. > :46:25.taken by Mulgrew. He is teasing Finnbogason. Nobody they are in

:46:26. > :46:43.yellow. -- there in yellow. A couple of minutes to half-time. Celtic are

:46:44. > :46:46.looking for the vital away goal. If there is anything missing from the

:46:47. > :46:51.Celtic first-half performance it is that there has not been a player who

:46:52. > :46:56.has really taken anyone on. When it is tight like this you need someone

:46:57. > :47:03.just to keep the ball. Sometimes you need someone to try to beat

:47:04. > :47:13.somebody, Stokes work almonds, someone to take someone on and

:47:14. > :47:21.create an opportunity. -- Stokes or Commons. A little shuffle

:47:22. > :47:31.information perhaps from Delia. Maybe move leakers has out to the

:47:32. > :47:36.left. -- Leigh Griffiths. Only five minutes to half-time and I think it

:47:37. > :47:48.is late to make that change. Van Dijk gets in the way. Josepsson. I

:47:49. > :47:52.think McGregor may have found his way into the opposite -- may have

:47:53. > :48:19.found his way. Johansen. Can Celtic find the

:48:20. > :48:26.opening goal in the dying seconds of this first-half in Iceland? It is

:48:27. > :48:31.easy to forget when Celtic are passing the ball and working

:48:32. > :48:36.Reykjav?k as hard as they are, Reykjav?k are getting tired. They

:48:37. > :48:46.are trying to contain Celtic and denied them opportunities on the

:48:47. > :48:50.butt that is hard work. -- opportunities, but that is hard

:48:51. > :48:54.work. There will be nothing added on at the end of the first half here at

:48:55. > :49:00.the KR-vollur Stadium. Celtic have come closest to very good ash

:49:01. > :49:08.Chicago have come closest. Two very good efforts. -- Celtic have come

:49:09. > :49:17.closest. Two very good efforts. Half-time and the Champions League

:49:18. > :49:25.qualifying round, first leg. It has not one -- been one to get

:49:26. > :49:28.the pulse racing. It is all about getting through the qualifying round

:49:29. > :49:31.and getting closer to the group stages of the Champions League

:49:32. > :49:38.second leg, which is coming next Tuesday night at Murrayfield. With

:49:39. > :49:47.me in the studio, my guests. What have you thought of that so far? On

:49:48. > :49:56.a sticky pitch, the ball does not quite travel like you would like

:49:57. > :50:04.it. They fell out of it and allowed KR Reykjavik a couple of chances.

:50:05. > :50:08.This time of the season, that is probably the biggest issue, when you

:50:09. > :50:14.do not see the pass or you over hate it or you do not get it there. They

:50:15. > :50:23.want to get a result, they need it, just to get the momentum going. This

:50:24. > :50:28.is something of a wearing down process, and KR Reykjavik will tire

:50:29. > :50:37.as they try to constantly deny space and opportunities to Celtic. We were

:50:38. > :50:41.just saying that it is almost the back four that have talked in really

:50:42. > :50:52.tight. That can be difficult to break down. Charlie Mulgrew played a

:50:53. > :50:57.great ball. You would hope that they do tire, but you expect that this

:50:58. > :51:04.time of year, from a Celtic perspective. McGregor is playing

:51:05. > :51:08.almost on the inside, and on the other side, Griffiths, who does not

:51:09. > :51:12.like playing out there, he is tucked in, almost convincing that middle

:51:13. > :51:26.area, and they are hoping maybe a change of play... There has been one

:51:27. > :51:32.instance where Celtic... They can get that opportunity and finish it.

:51:33. > :51:37.You have got to play with pace. You got to play quicker. You are not up

:51:38. > :51:41.to full speed at this time of year. Scott Brown gives the team real

:51:42. > :51:47.drive. Johansen in the middle, lovely on the ball, but you need

:51:48. > :51:57.somebody with the ability to drive past two or three players and catch

:51:58. > :52:01.the opposition. Celtic needs players who can take people on and go on the

:52:02. > :52:06.inside and outside, and one of their players was injured and they are

:52:07. > :52:14.missing him. Players need a good preseason and they need to get their

:52:15. > :52:21.fitness levels up. Celtic almost scored within the first ten minutes.

:52:22. > :52:26.When you have got ability like the best, Chris Commons is capable, and

:52:27. > :52:34.what a fantastic strike. If it drops beneath the cross are, that is a

:52:35. > :52:41.different game. He would love to get off to a season with a goal like

:52:42. > :52:48.that, a fantastic strike. Beautiful technique. And it looks already as

:52:49. > :52:53.if he is going to be as valuable a plow it -- player to Celtic this

:52:54. > :53:01.season as he was last season. I think Celtic me -- miss the creative

:53:02. > :53:09.players, and maybe he has stepped in, and he has done magnificently

:53:10. > :53:12.well over the last few years. They will have to hope that he can

:53:13. > :53:19.reproduce what he has done over the last couple of years. Little pockets

:53:20. > :53:23.of space in between the lines, and it makes it difficult for the

:53:24. > :53:29.opposition to pick up. It is important that he can get on the

:53:30. > :53:32.ball. He is the one real creative force that they have, but it is

:53:33. > :53:37.difficult when you are playing against such a tight defence. You

:53:38. > :53:44.were concerned about the kick out from Forster, just handing

:53:45. > :53:50.possession straight back. I have spoken to him about this in the

:53:51. > :53:55.past. This particular instance, he kicked it away, and this was

:53:56. > :54:01.probably the one key chance, albeit a short one, that he handled quite

:54:02. > :54:10.well, but it will be interesting, under Ronny Delia, and I think it

:54:11. > :54:15.will be interesting to see will add that philosophy to his game and

:54:16. > :54:20.build the game from the back in a more structured way that -- maybe we

:54:21. > :54:26.have seen in the past. Is there a case for reshuffling the front four?

:54:27. > :54:32.I think Delia is getting to know the team. Commons is looking to play

:54:33. > :54:38.that behind and to play that behind and of is to look for the ball.

:54:39. > :54:44.Griffiths, he wants to play on the last man and stretch the opposition.

:54:45. > :54:48.Stokes comes and he can float around a lot more. Griffiths is out on the

:54:49. > :54:52.right and is not comfortable there. If you put him in the middle, you

:54:53. > :54:58.can put Stokes out wide and McGregor on the other side, and it would be a

:54:59. > :55:04.better balance, but for Ronny Delia, he is getting to know the players.

:55:05. > :55:07.He has seen them in training and a few games. This is competitive

:55:08. > :55:11.football and he will be looking to see if they can step up. We listened

:55:12. > :55:15.to him on the radio just before we started and he was talking about

:55:16. > :55:20.McGregor, who had a good knowledge of the game, and he will be hoping

:55:21. > :55:23.that his players have that and can play a few different positions and

:55:24. > :55:27.he can have different ways of playing, not just one way every week

:55:28. > :55:33.that he can change depending on who is playing in the league. He has got

:55:34. > :55:37.to come into the Scottish league and there will be teams that he has

:55:38. > :55:44.never played against before, so it'll be interesting. It is

:55:45. > :55:49.important for him to set tone. Even if they lost, you would expect they

:55:50. > :55:56.would go to Celtic Park and wind. Getting a victory is vitally

:55:57. > :56:00.important. The players start to buy into what you are doing as a

:56:01. > :56:05.manager. You do not get results, the players can sometimes start to ask

:56:06. > :56:11.questions in terms of, is this guy as great as we think he is? What did

:56:12. > :56:16.you make up the appointment of Ronny Delia? You bump into him before he

:56:17. > :56:23.got the job. It was about six weeks before he got the job. We went along

:56:24. > :56:29.to his club to monitor what the goalkeeper coach was doing. He left,

:56:30. > :56:34.of course, but I had no idea that he was going to be the Celtic manager

:56:35. > :56:38.at that point in time. He was impressive and he was involved on

:56:39. > :56:42.the pitch with his players. He was not doing too much and he was not

:56:43. > :56:46.too overenthusiastic. We sat down and spoke to him afterwards and

:56:47. > :56:50.reflected on what they were doing and he impressed me. I really did

:56:51. > :56:58.not think he would be the Celtic manager. He has also been obviously

:56:59. > :57:05.impressed people -- he has obviously impressed people. He was known

:57:06. > :57:15.about. He must have impressed someone to get that huge job. You

:57:16. > :57:20.would have expected Celtic to get in behind the Reykjav?k defence a lot

:57:21. > :57:30.earlier than they did. A great ball I Charlie Mulgrew. -- by Charlie

:57:31. > :57:34.Mulgrew. These guys are on the same wavelength. All of the sudden, the

:57:35. > :57:39.opposition defence is running back towards their own goals, and it is

:57:40. > :57:45.difficult to bear. If you get the full-backs getting in... You get

:57:46. > :57:48.enough bodies in there, and eventually, he will pick somebody

:57:49. > :57:56.out. That is the thing about Forster, he is someone who can

:57:57. > :57:59.naturally play the ball and take players on and give you that

:58:00. > :58:03.penetration and which stopped it is about getting the right balance for

:58:04. > :58:11.the team, and it will take time for Ronny Delia to find the best lens.

:58:12. > :58:16.-- blend. They have been without their skipper for three months. You

:58:17. > :58:21.would expect Celtic to stroll through, but these games get war and

:58:22. > :58:31.March difficult as you age towards the group stage. -- more and more

:58:32. > :58:34.difficult. You need to experience, huge experience over the last two

:58:35. > :58:38.years, Scott Brown was a captain, and he was missing last year, when

:58:39. > :58:44.he got sent off in vital games, and he can help, and we talk about

:58:45. > :58:48.younger players coming through, they need experienced players coming

:58:49. > :58:53.through to really make them settle in, so he will be a huge miss, and

:58:54. > :58:57.it does not look as though they are going to go to the market and by

:58:58. > :59:01.someone. If he is out for three months, should they be signing a

:59:02. > :59:12.Scott Brown type player for that role? It is difficult to find a

:59:13. > :59:15.replacement for a player like him. He is a top international player. To

:59:16. > :59:20.go out and get someone of that caliber will cost you a fortune. He

:59:21. > :59:28.comes back in three or four months. It is a difficult conundrum for the

:59:29. > :59:33.club. Do we speculate? That is why these guys are earning big money, to

:59:34. > :59:40.make those decisions. There are going to be difficult rounds to

:59:41. > :59:44.play. Would you be spending ?30 million on players at this stage not

:59:45. > :59:50.knowing that you will actually get there? It is a big chance to take. I

:59:51. > :59:56.think the strategy is quite sensible. They be that is the likes

:59:57. > :00:00.of Roy Keane or the big guys did not get this job, the demands on them to

:00:01. > :00:15.get big players. It is all about trying to fight for

:00:16. > :00:27.the Europa League and there are quite a few hurdles.

:00:28. > :00:38.We don't know too much about the Icelandic opposition, but those

:00:39. > :00:49.games look pretty tough for St Johnstone and Aberdeen. I have been

:00:50. > :00:54.out there before playing in games. They are at a different level than

:00:55. > :00:58.what we are seeing with KR Reykjavik tonight. There is Switzerland's, I

:00:59. > :01:04.have been out there for the preseason and they are a tough team.

:01:05. > :01:09.You see that they have a high standard out there. It is a tough

:01:10. > :01:12.draw at this stage in the competition. Aberdeen will be

:01:13. > :01:19.thinking that they might have enough quality to get to the group stages

:01:20. > :01:26.but they have a long way to go. They are a quality side. The guys in

:01:27. > :01:33.there, St Johnstone, Motherwell, they are good teams. There are guys

:01:34. > :01:36.that have played on European stages as well, so they will go into that

:01:37. > :01:43.tight with a lot of confidence, because they had a good season last

:01:44. > :01:48.year, and they had someone who could be a potentially great signing for

:01:49. > :01:54.them. I think those teams have got a good opportunity. This is ready in

:01:55. > :02:03.analysis takes a strange twist. You will have to explain this. Doing a

:02:04. > :02:11.bit of dodging there, but the trees were trying to knock me over. Just

:02:12. > :02:20.doing a bit of filming for the adventure show. And you can find out

:02:21. > :02:24.what he was happy with. I think it might have been his time on the

:02:25. > :02:33.adventure show, which is tomorrow night at 7:00pm. Heading back into

:02:34. > :02:38.the second half of the match in Iceland between KR Reykjavik and

:02:39. > :02:53.Celtic. It is 0-0 have through. Here comes the second half life, with

:02:54. > :02:58.your commentators. This is the third time KR Reykjavik have a Scottish

:02:59. > :03:09.opposition, losing 14-1 on aggregate against Aberdeen in 1969, then

:03:10. > :03:15.losing against Kilmarnock. Ambrose in the background there. A decent

:03:16. > :03:21.World Cup campaign with Nigeria. They have had their problems since

:03:22. > :03:27.their final match in Brazil, their last 16 game against France. Ambrose

:03:28. > :03:33.played all four games, Bosnia, Argentina, then the game against the

:03:34. > :03:39.French. Izaguirre played all three games for Honduras against the

:03:40. > :03:45.French, Ecuador and Switzerland. The closest KR Reykjavik have come to

:03:46. > :03:50.the group stage was in 2011 when they got to the third round in the

:03:51. > :03:55.Europa League losing 6-1 on aggregate, but they knocked out a

:03:56. > :04:01.Slovakian side who had been in the Champions League group the season

:04:02. > :04:06.before. KR Reykjavik do require a level of respect and I'm sure Ronny

:04:07. > :04:14.Deila has that in mind. He is up against Runar Kristinsson,

:04:15. > :04:20.and they came up against each other in the Norwegian top-flight. Ronnie

:04:21. > :04:21.Christensen was a midfielder, Ronny Deila was a defender. -- Runar

:04:22. > :04:33.Kristinsson. Here is Albee -- Lorenzo Balbi. Not

:04:34. > :04:40.a bad ball. It was useful. They have a corner, the host. No, not a bad

:04:41. > :04:44.ball, and he got a second bite and got a corner kick. I was going to

:04:45. > :04:51.say, these games are difficult until Celtic get the first goal, and they

:04:52. > :04:53.do have to bide their time and defend well and keep their

:04:54. > :05:00.concentration until they get a goal, and then the picture changes

:05:01. > :05:09.and becomes different. Away by van Dyck. He took a clatter and it might

:05:10. > :05:17.even have been his central defensive body who did the damage.

:05:18. > :05:21.They both seem to be OK as their manager watches on, 38-year-old

:05:22. > :05:40.Ronny Deila, Celtic's 19th manager. Here is the corner that led to van

:05:41. > :05:52.Dyck and Ambrose getting a sore one -- van Beek -- van

:05:53. > :05:59.MacGregor. Now the Commons. MacGregor did not look out of place

:06:00. > :06:05.in the first. Excellent ball for Lustig. The two Scandinavians.

:06:06. > :06:11.Charlie Mulgrew, for Griffiths. Good effort from Commons again. That one

:06:12. > :06:17.is off target. It was off target, but that is three out of three for

:06:18. > :06:20.Celtic that have come from Kris Commons with some interplay between

:06:21. > :06:23.him and Griffiths. We wondered if there had been a change before

:06:24. > :06:27.half-time of the managers had swapped MacGregor and Griffiths, but

:06:28. > :06:40.Griffiths is back on the right-hand side now.

:06:41. > :06:56.The Icelandic season begins in October. That is due to the harsh

:06:57. > :07:13.winters. Stokes. MacGregor. Izaguirre. Sigurdsson gets it away

:07:14. > :07:29.to Martin. He is on his own really. A bit of company. He is not getting

:07:30. > :07:38.there. Ambrose does. Stephan Johansen. Commons does well to keep

:07:39. > :07:48.it alive. MacGregor. Just looked like it was opening up the Celtic.

:07:49. > :07:55.Joss Upson got himself in the way. Part from the passing move and there

:07:56. > :07:58.was the pace of it -- Josepsson. MacGregor, Commons, or moving

:07:59. > :07:59.quickly and sprinting into position. That will make it difficult for

:08:00. > :08:08.Reykjavik. Lustig. And Griffiths. We know he can do a lot better than

:08:09. > :08:29.that. At this stage of the season, that is

:08:30. > :08:34.what they are here for, to get it out the way and side -- fine tune

:08:35. > :08:46.it. Maybe the next sighting will, and he will hit the target.

:08:47. > :08:50.Eventually the referee makes the decision after Mulgrew was all over

:08:51. > :08:53.Lorenzo Balbi. Last season was the first time Celtic had to negotiate

:08:54. > :08:58.the three rounds of qualifying and they are having to do it again this

:08:59. > :09:04.year. The coefficient says so, and it is frustrating for the Celtic

:09:05. > :09:07.players and the management team and the supporters, just the fact that

:09:08. > :09:17.there are teams who finished fourth in their leagues who come in at the

:09:18. > :09:35.later stages. Away by van Dijk. Sigurdsson with the long ball out. A

:09:36. > :09:40.wonderful turn. Excellent skill. They do have individuals in the team

:09:41. > :09:51.who are capable. Yes, and Celtic must respect that. Celtic snuffed it

:09:52. > :10:16.out, stopping them coming into the box. There were a couple who felt

:10:17. > :10:33.that their minds have drifted to this fixture. Struggling to hold

:10:34. > :10:38.onto their title, that is sure. Johansen. It might break for Stokes.

:10:39. > :10:48.Commons! He has got to score, surely. I think with his quality,

:10:49. > :10:59.you would expect him to do better, but it was on his right hand side,

:11:00. > :11:10.not the favoured left. He is trying to hit the target, scoop it into the

:11:11. > :11:16.top corner but he has, and it is over the left-hand side. Got to

:11:17. > :11:31.score is maybe taking it a bit too far. Bob Lee Ball causing problems

:11:32. > :11:32.for the goalkeeper -- a bobbling ball causing problems for the

:11:33. > :11:50.goalkeeper. MacGregor. Ambrose. Johannsson -- Johansen, for

:11:51. > :11:55.Griffiths. Good work by MacGregor. That is in towards Griffiths. Celtic

:11:56. > :12:03.putting a bit of pressure on here. Sigurdsson headed it clear.

:12:04. > :12:10.The Celtic skipper for the night, Mulgrew. Looks likely to hold onto

:12:11. > :12:23.the armband in the absence of Scott Brown. Lustig asked the question.

:12:24. > :12:28.Better pressure from Celtic. They are playing on the front foot and

:12:29. > :12:33.pressurising a bit higher up the park. There is an added tempo to the

:12:34. > :12:49.game that was missing in the first. MacGregor has started well. He has

:12:50. > :12:50.probably gained a lot from his first performance and is getting himself a

:12:51. > :13:25.bit more involved. MacGregor. Stokes. Stokes again.

:13:26. > :13:34.This is promising. Commons. Did not quite get a hold of it. Commons may

:13:35. > :13:38.be expected that wind up in the bottom corner, but MacGregor was at

:13:39. > :13:43.the heart of it, then Stokes, and the cutback in almost finding its

:13:44. > :13:53.way into the back of the net. Another huge chance for Kris

:13:54. > :13:58.Commons. Head in his hands there. Anyone who scored 30 goals a season

:13:59. > :14:05.does not go a season without missing chances. You only get 30 goals if

:14:06. > :14:16.you take shots and your percentages up, and eventually when he has that

:14:17. > :14:19.many shops, one of them will go in. Sublime goal tally for Kris Commons

:14:20. > :14:32.when you consider that he is not a main striker. He smashed through the

:14:33. > :14:34.30 goal barrier in the course of a season that was terrific thing on a

:14:35. > :15:07.personal level and also for Celtic. 26 times they have been Icelandic

:15:08. > :15:23.champions, KR Reykjavik. The oldest, most successful club in Iceland.

:15:24. > :15:27.Commons was tripped. Great play between Mulgrew and Commons, getting

:15:28. > :15:33.in the whole, and then Charlie with the slide rule pass through the

:15:34. > :15:34.middle. Into his feet, and Kris Commons took it forward with one

:15:35. > :15:48.touch. Great play. This is in quite a central area. A

:15:49. > :15:52.little bit closer than the one in the first half, probably six or

:15:53. > :15:59.seven yards closer and this is with in range for Charlie Mulgrew. The

:16:00. > :16:06.one in the first half he tried to play it to van Dijk, but this time

:16:07. > :16:13.we will see him having a shot. An embarrassment of riches of free

:16:14. > :16:19.kicks with Celtic. We have seen Griffiths score free kicks in the

:16:20. > :16:36.past. So many capable from here. This will be the right of Stokes or

:16:37. > :16:40.the left of Mulgrew. Stokes. I expected Charlie to maybe take that,

:16:41. > :16:45.but a decent enough effort. Not too far over from Anthony Stokes, but

:16:46. > :16:49.again, this stage of the season, they were practising training, but

:16:50. > :16:54.when you get out onto the park it is a different ball game, playing a

:16:55. > :16:59.Champions League match and putting it into the top corner. A little bit

:17:00. > :17:07.of a site for him. He is capable of putting it in the net. Lorenzo

:17:08. > :17:10.Balbi, Luis Suarez's brother-in-law, and we don't know how much truth

:17:11. > :17:15.there is the Luis Suarez was invited to nice, but were a couple of

:17:16. > :17:20.reasons, not least is banned from football stadiums -- he's banned

:17:21. > :17:29.from football stadiums, that is one of the reasons he is mooted of being

:17:30. > :17:29.here. Zato is the replacement, defensive midfielder. Justice his

:17:30. > :17:35.first season at the club. -- just his first season at the

:17:36. > :17:42.club. Mulgrew. MacGregor. Van Dijk takes

:17:43. > :18:16.in his stride. Izaguirre. That was an awkward one, but Martin

:18:17. > :18:21.read it. Sigurdsson arriving if Martin can get away from Mulgrew,

:18:22. > :18:27.which she can't. Van Dijk a bit casual. Sigurdsson trying to pick

:18:28. > :18:34.his pocket. Van Dijk resists. James Mulgrew. Charlie Mulgrew has

:18:35. > :18:44.defended well down the left-hand side.

:18:45. > :19:08.Lustig had to look lively. Johansen. Griffiths. Good effort.

:19:09. > :19:15.Sensational effort, and that is one of the advantages of having a left

:19:16. > :19:20.footed player on the right. We know Leigh Griffiths is capable of that.

:19:21. > :19:26.Comes back inside on his left and hit a tremendous shot. Mulgrew's

:19:27. > :19:27.effort is blocked. Sigurdsson gets there. Celtic starting to knock on

:19:28. > :19:37.the door here. An absolutely volcanic effort from

:19:38. > :19:42.Leigh Griffiths, exploding off the underside of the bar. That should

:19:43. > :19:47.give Leigh Griffiths encouragement about playing in that area. The

:19:48. > :19:53.corner from Stokes. Lustig tried, but it's another corner. Looks like

:19:54. > :19:57.he might have got moron that may be a goal-scoring opportunity. Just

:19:58. > :20:12.seemed to glance at it. Here is the shot from Griffiths again. Shaking

:20:13. > :20:26.the gold frame. Taking the corner kick, but clutched on with both

:20:27. > :20:31.hands by Stefan Magnusson. Celtic doing more than enough to justify

:20:32. > :20:39.being in front, but still goalless. That is encouraging itself. Leigh

:20:40. > :20:42.Griffiths and MacGregor finding itself -- themselves on opposite

:20:43. > :20:57.sides from the corner kick. Not sure if there has been a change now.

:20:58. > :21:13.Johansen. Lustig to MacGregor. Mulgrew. Johansen. Griffiths trying

:21:14. > :21:27.to make his mark. He arrived after the Champions League adventure last

:21:28. > :21:37.season. Mulgrew's ball for Stokes. He has not played on that side that

:21:38. > :21:42.often. Even mentally, being put out there, when he comes an side and has

:21:43. > :21:48.the shot that should give her encouragement as there are

:21:49. > :22:03.opportunities to join in with Anthony Stokes and Kris Commons it

:22:04. > :22:11.is 8:15pm local time here. A bad evening though. The Champions League

:22:12. > :22:18.final taking place in the Berlin R Gelling -- Perlin and wonderful

:22:19. > :22:27.scenes today there is the national team paraded the World Cup. -- as

:22:28. > :22:31.the national team. Martin driving it forward.

:22:32. > :22:38.Izaguirre. Mulgrew. Griffiths again. He looks

:22:39. > :22:59.in the mood now. Ronny Deila standing in the

:23:00. > :23:12.technical area, taking it all in. Tricky footwork therefrom Zato.

:23:13. > :23:38.There -- there from Zato. A good second half for the Scottish

:23:39. > :24:07.champions. Not a goal to show for it.

:24:08. > :24:16.Celtic passing the ball quicker and a bit more aggressively, running a

:24:17. > :24:20.bit more aggressively. Murrayfield, the scope -- home of Scottish rugby,

:24:21. > :24:29.that will be the venue for the return. Griffiths. Good play.

:24:30. > :24:33.Brilliant from Griffiths. Will you finish the match? He hasn't on this

:24:34. > :24:39.occasion -- will he have the finish to match. Should they negotiate his

:24:40. > :24:47.round, they would have to play at Murrayfield in the next qualifying

:24:48. > :24:54.round, the third round, with the likes of Maribor, Helsinki, who they

:24:55. > :24:59.played a couple of seasons ago and actually knocked out KR Reykjavik

:25:00. > :25:02.before they played Celtic. Celtic could have been coming to Iceland a

:25:03. > :25:06.couple of seasons ago after the draw was made.

:25:07. > :25:19.Think that was for something after the incident. I think it was for

:25:20. > :25:21.dissent. The referee has given the free kick and had something to say,

:25:22. > :26:00.and he is booked. Griffiths. Commons. Zato who was

:26:01. > :26:26.relegated with another Reykjavik team last season. Brought straight

:26:27. > :26:29.back into the top flight. The defence looks sturdier than last

:26:30. > :26:39.week Retallick. The goals they were good finishes, but it defensively

:26:40. > :26:47.wasn't too clever. Stokes hanging the ball up. Zato. Only half away.

:26:48. > :26:54.That is a long ball, hopeful punt, or is there something in it towards

:26:55. > :27:05.Martin? Ambrose slams the door in the face of the Englishman.

:27:06. > :27:24.The build-up play at Celtic had, the rhetoric formation is 6-to-1. Very

:27:25. > :27:28.crowded -- the Reykjavik formation is six -numeric 2-1 - one. You want

:27:29. > :27:31.to see them try and beat someone rather than pass through the crowded

:27:32. > :28:17.area. Spooky is going to be on for Celtic

:28:18. > :28:24.in a minute. Summoned by his Norwegian manager. -- Pukki is going

:28:25. > :28:46.to be on. Griffiths, brilliant again from him.

:28:47. > :28:56.Just overcooked it slightly. It has gone for a corner. Despite the

:28:57. > :29:01.protests of Sigurd arson. Leigh Griffiths trying to get in behind

:29:02. > :29:13.without passing the ball and putting them under a lot of pressure, but

:29:14. > :29:19.good pressure from Griffiths. Mulgrew, bending it in. Stokes knew

:29:20. > :29:29.exactly where the ball was. Lost track of the flight as a zipped over

:29:30. > :29:36.his head. Another great delivery from Charlie Mulgrew.

:29:37. > :29:40.track of the flight as a zipped over his head. Another great There will

:29:41. > :29:50.be a double change for Celtic. The rector is coming on, and so is

:29:51. > :29:54.Pukki. -- Richter -- Boerrigter. Ronny Deila is going to shake things

:29:55. > :30:08.up a bit. In the meantime, Gary Martin. Trying to be way too clever

:30:09. > :30:20.there. Fraser Forster has had pretty much nothing to do for the evening

:30:21. > :30:21.so far. Finnbogason, who we have hardly mentioned in the second half.

:30:22. > :30:31.Zato. The pass was poor, but it's over the

:30:32. > :30:39.head of Johansen. Sigurdsson, poking it through. Martin was closed down

:30:40. > :30:46.beautifully by Virgil van Dijk. The centre-half giving good cover and

:30:47. > :30:50.clearing the danger. A little bit fortunate getting through on the

:30:51. > :30:53.left-hand side. It broke off the edge of the box and got them in

:30:54. > :31:03.behind the good cover from the centre-half. Ronny Deila telling the

:31:04. > :31:08.fourth official to wait until the corner has been taken. That was how

:31:09. > :31:18.it was one. And that is how it is taken. Headed away by van Dijk. That

:31:19. > :31:20.is Forster's. He has done it quickly towards Griffiths. Good control from

:31:21. > :31:32.Leigh Griffiths. That is causing KR Reykjavik all

:31:33. > :31:45.sorts of trouble when they get Griffiths on the ball on the right

:31:46. > :31:51.flank is acquire. -- on the right flank. Izaguirre. Lustig leaving it

:31:52. > :32:09.for Johansen. Mulgrew. Lustig. Another corner. The thumbs

:32:10. > :32:17.up from Ronny Deila. The changes will be made in a second or two.

:32:18. > :32:29.Pukki and Boerrigter waiting patiently.

:32:30. > :32:33.Boerrigter will come on for Griffiths, and he had been such a

:32:34. > :32:40.danger on the right, but he has run his race. I think he has had a good

:32:41. > :32:44.second half in particular. First, the understanding between him and

:32:45. > :32:48.Lustig was not entirely working, but in the second half, they found him

:32:49. > :32:53.more often and he looked a bit more aggressive and confident on the ball

:32:54. > :32:59.and more prepared to get at them. On comes the Dutchman, Boerrigter, who

:33:00. > :33:06.scored a Champions League goal for Ajax against Real Madrid. Stokes

:33:07. > :33:13.comes. Replaced by Pukki, who scored a hat-trick in pre-season and is

:33:14. > :33:19.also on the mark in the previous match. Robbie disappointed not to

:33:20. > :33:23.start tonight. He is on now though. -- probably. As just over 15 minutes

:33:24. > :33:26.to make an impression. Van Dijk was close. McGregor. Picked up on the

:33:27. > :33:42.chest by Sigurdsson. disappointed to come off having not

:33:43. > :33:48.scored. It is a European again and he wants to score goals and he has

:33:49. > :33:53.not. The manager does not want people injured were overdoing it,

:33:54. > :33:56.and rightly, because there is another game to come, and he will

:33:57. > :34:04.probably get a goal in the second game. A thundering effort off the

:34:05. > :34:23.bar earlier in the first half from Kris Commons.

:34:24. > :34:35.Lustig. They are just doing enough, Reykjav?k, to keep the match

:34:36. > :35:05.scoreless post up -- Reykjav?k. Celtic have to come here these days

:35:06. > :35:09.if they want to get back to the big stage, the glamour of the Champions

:35:10. > :35:43.League. He was always going to shoot and

:35:44. > :35:51.MacGregor is there. The keeper has done well, spread himself and made a

:35:52. > :35:56.save. The keeper makes a little bit much of it and makes a good save the

:35:57. > :36:02.second time. A little bit wide and he is not able to get it into the

:36:03. > :36:09.back of the net. It is encouraging for Celtic, I don't care that it is

:36:10. > :36:11.0-0. At this stage of the game, it could get away from them. Celtic

:36:12. > :36:28.could still live -- when this game. They will fancy that they can get at

:36:29. > :36:39.least one away a goal from this match. A great ball in. McGregor

:36:40. > :36:44.could not quite get it under control. At little bit of a surprise

:36:45. > :36:53.stop a terrific ball. It might have done a little bit better.

:36:54. > :37:06.It does not get art around these parts until about half past 11,

:37:07. > :37:16.midnight. -- dark. A great ball in. A little header that hits him in the

:37:17. > :37:22.chest. A little bit unfortunate for the -- unfortunate. 12 minutes to

:37:23. > :38:02.go. Celtic lost last year to Barcelona.

:38:03. > :38:06.The most disappointing performance was they want in Amsterdam, they

:38:07. > :38:34.lost 6-1. Here comes Pukki. Leaving it for Izaguirre. Johansen.

:38:35. > :38:45.Mulgrew. Izaguirre. Commons. MacGregor. Another corner. He has

:38:46. > :38:47.made a difference since he came on. He has caused a little bit of a

:38:48. > :39:06.problem for KR Reykjavik. A harmless pass. That was tired from

:39:07. > :39:13.Kris Commons. He has been really active in the last 50 minutes. -- 15

:39:14. > :39:23.minutes. A little bit of a tired effort. Gary Martin is coming off.

:39:24. > :39:33.The English striker. Very politico in the Middlesbrough youth team

:39:34. > :39:46.pulls up -- very prolific in the Middlesbrough youth team. Perhaps he

:39:47. > :39:53.can show what he can do. I think he did a decent job for his team. He

:39:54. > :40:02.was isolated, particularly in the first half. Strikers want to score

:40:03. > :40:07.goals come in so he will be disappointed. The rain is starting

:40:08. > :40:30.to come down. It rained quite a bit in these parts. -- reigns.

:40:31. > :40:41.There was no purchase in the six yard area. The substitute

:40:42. > :40:50.Ragnarsson. A little bit of the flexion. -- the flexion. That would

:40:51. > :41:03.have been some sucker punch for Celtic to take. The final eight

:41:04. > :41:12.minutes now. Celtic are still sitting out a goal. They feel there

:41:13. > :41:23.is one out there for them. An average from Boerrigter, tapped over

:41:24. > :41:27.by Magnusson. Keeping the pressure on. You feel as if there is a goal

:41:28. > :41:36.here for Celtic if they can keep pressing for this last bit of the

:41:37. > :41:50.game. A Commons corner. Shot to Izaguirre. He has a good left foot

:41:51. > :42:08.on him. Bailed out why Zato -- by Zato. McGregor for Commons and

:42:09. > :42:20.Mulgrew. Izaguirre. Boerrigter. Mulgrew resists the shot. A couple

:42:21. > :42:30.of bodies in the way. There is Boerrigter. Wave after wave at the

:42:31. > :42:45.moment. Johansen, he is the latest to have a go. Same result. Ambrose

:42:46. > :42:53.as well. A change of pace. It has gone in! What a moment that is!

:42:54. > :43:01.Celtic absolutely deserved that, and what a moment it is for McGregor!

:43:02. > :43:09.First competitive start, and he has slammed home a crucial away goal.

:43:10. > :43:16.That is thoroughly deserved. Celtic worked hard for that goal. KR

:43:17. > :43:22.Reykjavik have defended well. Look as though there is a bit of the

:43:23. > :43:27.flexion. It goes back inside and off his left foot. Slightly deflected up

:43:28. > :43:41.in the corner at the near post, a terrific growth for the young man in

:43:42. > :43:46.his debut. -- goal. He was a bright light for Notts County. He is the

:43:47. > :43:52.bright light of Celtic now, though I'll stop back from that letter

:43:53. > :44:01.misspelled. -- though. Back from that loan spell. He has got some

:44:02. > :44:14.terrific balls into the box. He has taken the ball to KR Reykjavik and

:44:15. > :44:23.put pressure on from wide areas. KR Reykjavik are looking for an

:44:24. > :44:33.immediate retaliation. 1-0 would do Celtic. They should have more than

:44:34. > :44:37.the one, but they will take it. Prior to the goal, there were a

:44:38. > :44:43.couple of blocks, people throwing themselves in front of the ball and

:44:44. > :44:51.defending in numbers. Celtic have kept the resident. -- present. Chris

:44:52. > :44:55.Commons has been involved in everything. Looked as though he was

:44:56. > :45:00.getting tired but he kept the momentum going went forward -- and

:45:01. > :45:27.want forward. The most sought after things in

:45:28. > :45:31.European football, away goals will stop they can be a golden ticket,

:45:32. > :45:52.and tonight, Celtic are finally making the breakthrough.

:45:53. > :46:02.It is Lustig, but he was offside. I am delighted for the manager of

:46:03. > :46:04.Celtic. It is important for them to have a
